My issue started about a month and a half ago with FedEx home delivery. It was near the end of October 2017, so I started to buy Christmas gifts online. My doorbell rang so I figured it was FedEx with one of my items, wrong, it was a neighbor from down the road with my item that FedEx dropped at their door. I figured well, it was a mistake.

Several days later I was expecting a large order from a dept store that cost over $200 and when it started to get late I started to worry that FedEx delivered it to the wrong address. So, again, my doorbell rings and this time it was my neighbor from downstairs bringing my delivery that FedEx, this time dropped at her door. I was happy that my neighbors were honest people but upset that FedEx delivery people were so careless.

I wrote to FedEx and explained that this was the 2nd time this occurred and explained that I live in a condo where there are 8 units in each building and that EVERY address is CLEARLY on EACH door. I received an email stating that my complaint will be sent to the correct department, which I guess is the standard email randomly sent out when you write to them. I did not hear anything back from them.

Fast forward 3 weeks to November 26th; I placed an order with Quest Nutrition and I wait for it to be delivered by FedEx. December 1st, today, I check my tracking number at 11:30 am and it says that it was delivered at 9:25 am and left at the door. I open my door and there is no package. I go outside and go downstairs and there is my package, at my other neighbor's door. I was furious! I AGAIN wrote to FedEx and explained the situation and even took pictures of the delivery, the addresses on the doors... in case they want them so they can see how easy it is to see the addresses on the doors. I again, got the same randomly generated email saying it would be forwarded to the correct dept...

Also, my address was not on the box ONE time, it was on the box FOUR times, the original label, 2 smaller labels with the address on them, AND someone wrote 4767 on the side of the box with black marker, and the delivery person still delivered it to 4771. (Pics show neighbor's door with package and my door showing both addresses are easily readable.) It is NOT difficult to look at 4 numbers and match them to 4 other numbers, and if it is hard for them, they should not be doing this job! Other people may not be as lucky as I am to have great, honest neighbors, and may lose important and/or expensive items because of someone else's carelessness.

I don't buy insurance because they make it impossible for you to get paid. Unfortunately they don't have competition. UPS is as bad. DHL out of business, they were ok.

I paid $80 to overnight documents to Scotland. Tracking stopped in Memphis and they couldn't find them. Two weeks later and we still haven't heard from anyone at FedEx. They are useless. Their phone in system is a joke. The post office that tried helping even had trouble getting through to an actual person. We had to resend the documents but used UPS. It arrived when they said it would. It was cheaper, faster and more reliable. I'll never use FedEx again. Still waiting on some response from them. Ridiculous.

It used to be the "gold standard", not anymore. If you are a single person working full time, you have to take off "the entire day" waiting at home for the FedEx delivery, because they will not provide you with a two-hour window. After three "random attempts", they return the merchandise back to its origin. The alternative is to have them leave your expensive laptop at the door exposed to the environment and possible theft (at your responsibility). This was what I experienced after several phone calls, and long waits. At the end, I was forced to go to their shipping center and wait about three hours for the driver to show up, and give me my laptop. Their substandard services is a reflection of how this company is managed at the very top. US Postal Service may not be perfect, but at least you are not paying a high price tag for substandard services, and the FedEx CEO's bonus.

After waiting all day for delivery of my packages, I received an email at 5:10 pm stating that delivery wasn't possible because the customer wasn't available or business was closed. BIG FAT LIE! I was sitting there waiting! No little postcard saying delivery was attempted left on my doorstep. I immediately called & requested they contact the driver & send him. Said they couldn't get in contact with driver. REALLY? SECOND LIE, not buying it! Suggested I should do their job by picking up my packages at their center. NOT HAPPENING! Will now have to rearrange my schedule tomorrow in the hopes that the driver will actually do their job! Hope to get a new driver in my area who has a better sense of responsibility and appreciation of having a job.

Our small business has been shipping with FedEx since 1992. This year (2017) we had our first ever insurance claim with them. It was a large order or 6 cartons of product. They severely damaged, crushed, a couple boxes to the point that all the product spilled out, evidently on a road of filthy surface. About 1/4 of the shipment was not usable-- scratched labels, black tar-like marks on the plastic bottles.

The wholesale value of the damaged items, which is what it was insured for, was about $2,500. After filling out all their forms, we included the vendor photos of the repacked boxes that our vendor in Las Vegas refused because even those were damaged. We included, box certificates showing boxes were USA made and were only packed to 60% of the weight rating. This is the same item we have sent for 20 years with them and other more reliable shippers like UPS and YRC. We received some of the damaged product back (much was just completely lost) very poorly packed in some different boxes FedEx likely had from some other damaged shipment since the boxes were not even ours and were falling apart.

FedEx has never made good on the claim (Filed 20 January 2017). After months of being postponed, we have had the claims supervisor, Brittney 800-463-3339 say she would handle it and to fax everything to her (7 July 2017, August 9, 2017). We did. This has been followed up with several phone calls to her messages, and she has never responded after another 2 months. They must have their own in-house insurance that they do not want to pay out. This has been the biggest hassle, they clearly do not even care enough about a business customer that spends $thousands with them every year. One who has been with them since 1992 and has only had one claim.

They now only get our business if one of our vendors has their own shipper account, or, if for some reason they must specify to use FedEx. That $2,500 was a large loss for us. FedEx is OUT for us. We now use UPS, YRC, USPS and for our international shipping we use a export broker service. FedEx does not care a hoot about its customers. They might pay if you have a small claim, we don't know. But if you are a business shipping expensive quantities of product forget about FedEx if you ever have a claim.

They have one job - bringing things from point A to point B, apparently it's so hard. They have to lie about "attempting" delivery and saying you were not at home while you were waiting for this specific package for the whole day and that they left a door tag with instructions. But there is no door tag and status of the shipment has been "Package at station, arrived after courier dispatched." Whole day and the packaged was supposed to be delivered until 8 pm. At 10:30 pm they changed the status to "We made an attempt. You weren't at home". Great freaking job, I hope you get paid accordingly. Little side note: I paid 60$ for NEXT BUSINESS DAY delivery and everything happened 2 business days later, thanks for that as well.

Ordered items from BUDK knives and CH Kadels. The first order did not come to my house. The delivery guy noted that he left it by the gate. There is no gate at my house. The package was found down the road on the other side of a locked gate. FedEx was notified and said they would correct it for when my other packages arrived. The second one also did not arrive and was found on the other side of the locked gate. Notified FedEx again but still once again the package was on the other side of the gate. They claimed to be using Google maps to deliver.

Hello!! Can they not see the mailboxes that are VERY CLEARLY MARKED beside the road?! Where did they graduate?! I have NEVER had a problem with UPS delivering my packages! Frankly, I would never use FedEx to even deliver an unimportant letter and will check to make sure wherever I buy my merchandise in the future that they will not use FedEx and would highly recommend no one else use them since they don't care! Let them go bankrupt and have to find another job where people don't have to count on them!! If you need proof I can very easily provide it! It won't be any problem! As a matter of fact I hope they would try to go ahead and lie and contest it so it would further discredit them!

For the past 3 weeks I have been trying to get FedEx customer service to acknowledge my complaint and their automated system is EVEN WORSE than the delivery system. My complaint had to do with packages being left 500 ft away from my house on a public street at the top of my driveway. No gate to get through...just a longer than usual driveway. UPS and USPS always deliver packages to my house...usually leave them on the front porch or even inside of my garage where the door is usually open. FedEx apparently has lazy drivers who think that dumping packages on the public street is home delivery. So I complained online using the company "customer support" form.

What I got back after 9 days - the automated acknowledgment states within 24 hours - was a standard reply...we're sorry you were inconvenienced, blah, blah, blah...and if you would like to set up "customized delivery services" please contact... So, according to the genius "customer support" automated response people, if you want a FedEx package delivered to your house, that's a "customized delivery service". Anyway, I contacted the pharmaceutical company that sent the very expensive medications that were left on the street by a lazy FedEx employee. The pharmaceutical company representative informed me that they were getting numerous complaints about FedEx and were in the process of terminating their contract with them. They said I will get future packages through the USPS.

I have an import package I needed delivered as soon as possible. It was shipped to a location near my house. I could drive down and retrieve it at any time, but since Thursday was Thanksgiving, the entire facility shuts down not just for Thursday which I would understand, but Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as well (No, the package is not expected for a Monday delivery either). I called them up and they said they consider Friday and Saturday holidays as well. Clearly they are not actual holidays, they are just not going to work because...who would need any packages delivered near the holidays (I mean, nobody would need a package delivered around Black Friday would they)?

If they are too lazy to do their job then fine, I'll drive down and do their jobs for them by picking up the packages myself, but no. They are just going to keep them locked up in their facility out of laziness. I needed to have the packages over the holiday or at least over the weekend. This is my property that they are keeping hostage in their building for absolutely no reason. Absolutely pathetic excuse for a company and I will never choose FedEx for any reason after this.

What a horrible excuse for a company. I had a pick up scheduled today between 12 & 6 for a TV that was SMASHED in when FedEx delivered it to me a few days back. This is a brand new $6000 top of the line TV that came with a FOOT hole through the box. Like what the hell?! Then I have to chase them around all day for the pick up that was scheduled. I was assured MULTIPLE times by many supervisors: Jennifer **, Robert, and two other people in management that this item would be picked up by 6 pm, then 7:30 pm, and then 8 pm. Robert even told me that if someone didn't come by 8 pm he would personally arrange for dispatch. Obviously he was lying, just like everyone else I spoke to all day. Half of the employees have no idea what they are doing. I have a call tag on the pickup and half the customer service reps I spoke to can't tell the difference between that and a confirmation number.

The last manager I spoke to said that no one was even dispatched to pick up this item, even though it is scheduled for a pick up in their system. They moved my pick up to Friday, with zero communication and without my consent after making me sit in my living room for 8 hours waiting for them. It's really pathetic that the only thing this company does is pick up and delivery and they can't even get that right. DON’T waste your time with FedEx. They are garbage. The employees there talk out of their ** and speak just to hear their own voices. All I got was false promises. This company is completely unreliable and is a complete waste of your time. If you have something that is time sensitive, do not use this company. If you like to have your items damaged, late or no pickups, and deliveries on the wrong day, definitely use to this poor excuse of a company. :D I suggest you go with DHL, UPS, or better yet send a pigeon before you EVER consider FedEx.

How incompetent can you be! Now I have to ship my package across the country AGAIN and spend precious time and money to make up for FedEx being unprepared for the holiday updates. In fact, to add insult to injury the notification that my package was ready to pick up came at 6:10 PM, 10 minutes AFTER they’d closed?? I am LIVID and will never use their service again.

They didn't take the package to any of the nearby depots, but drove it to a remote warehouse incredibly far from my home and work. The kind of depot so far from humanity that the neighbourhood it's located in doesn't even have sidewalks and there's zero public transit that'll take you there.

I called to reschedule delivery - which they didn't do. I live in a gated building and received zero missed calls or messages on the day they 'attempted' to deliver the parcel. They lied. I managed to talk with nice tellers since last week to fix this problem until today when I called back for follow up and the teller asked me what was my relationship with the person on the delivery address. To me it didn't make any difference, and I didn't wanted to give any explanations but upon insisting I said that he was my fiancé. End result: this teller made me cry the hell out (I was literally crying afterwards for 30 minutes because I was never treated as if I was dumb and couldn't understand what he/she was telling me and because "nothing could be done").

Frustrated, I had to call back to ask where I could pick up my package but this time a WONDERFUL teller and a WONDERFUL person from the Complaints Department took charge of the situation and within two hours the package arrived right at my door!!! 2 HOURS!!! They were very kind and attentive, so nice that after I cried the hell out I really had to take time and do a good review. THANKS FedEx!!!

This company has given me nothing but trouble as a business owner. Far and away UPS is much more reliable, friendly and honest. I am sitting here waiting for a package. FedEx drivers are not held accountable. Waiting 3 days. Nothing but lies...excuses and no package. Driver lied about coming at 11:15 AM. Found me closed... Lies... Arrived at 10:30. Called my vendor who shipped the package. Said that they contacted the driver. He would deliver package by closing. No package. Spent my morning filing complaint and doing this. People should know that these FedEx routes are privately owned and the owners put anyone with a pulse on the routes. I don't even think they read or write English. Called FedEx. They tell you they are sorry but this does not get you your package or the time you lost writing this complaint. Any business owners out there I call on you to boycott FedEx. That's the only thing these people understand.

I am beyond disgusted at the shape of the package my boyfriend received for his birthday through FedEx. It was shipped from North Richland Hills, Texas to our home in La Pine, Oregon. It contained a package of Honeybuns, a homemade Chocolate Chip Pound Cake, and homemade Oatmeal Cookies. His mother made the cake and cookies and paid $35 to ship it to him. When the box arrived, we discovered that two of the 12 Honeybuns had been removed from the sealed package, the cake packaging had been opened with a box cutter, and bites had been taken out of one of the cookies and replaced in the tin. Unbelievable!!! Incredibly disgusting!!! I will never trust FedEx for any of my shipping needs again!

I had made arrangements with a few people to come over on Sunday and put the island together with me and do some Christmas baking... Well, now that can't happen either. Due to the lies on the delivery info, I now have to reschedule with these gracious people and hope they can come back some other time to help me. It would have been nice to have ACCURATE info. Or, if it's out for delivery, DELIVER the damn thing!!! Oh, and now they are saying TUESDAY will be my delivery day. We scheduled a pick-up for a package to a customer on 11/1 and normally those are picked up the following day. When our package wasn't picked up on 11/2 I checked our scheduled pick-ups to see what was going on, but there was no scheduled pick-up showing for 11/2 or even 11/3. I then went to our Ship History and went into the details for the shipment in question and it stated next to Pickup/Dropoff: "Pickup requested, view Pickup History for details". I decided then to call their support line to get this sorted out. When I finally got a hold of someone they tried to blame it on me and told me that I could drop it off at a pickup center/store or they could schedule a pickup for Monday 11/6.

I told them that wasn't acceptable as this was clearly their mistake and they should upgrade my shipping and have someone pick it up today (11/3). They refused, so I decided to hang up and look into it more to see if I could find any evidence of me doing something wrong (I couldn't). I decided to call back and got the same response. My teammate and my manager both tried calling and had the same results. At this point we wrote this off and decided we will drive somewhere to drop it off since a lot of our customers buy our products for time sensitive projects and we pride ourselves on quality support and service.

Shortly after all of this I was setting up a new shipment and attempted to schedule a delivery with it, but got an error in purple at the top saying that they weren't able to schedule the pickup and I would have to go to the pickup management page to manually schedule one. Shortly after that my teammate had issues printing a label and was talking to their tech support for some time. He mentioned some changes to the back end that may be affecting the website, but then also said it was on our end. We tried printing it from several different computers, but weren't able to print it until about 30 mins later (and we tested it on the same computers to see what would happened and it now worked on all of them).

Clearly FedEx was having issues with pickups and their site. Instead of accepting responsibility and compensating a paying customer they decided to try and shift the blame on us for damage control. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional. We are now looking into switching our services to a competitor in hopes that we will get better treatment from them and feel like a valued customer.

My friend from Hong Kong ordered something from Vex Robotics for her son birthday while she was visiting us in New York, FedEx sent the package to a wrong address. It took me numerous phone calls to follow-up with them to finally track down the package. Surprising they didn't even realize what the problem was and it took me to educate them what has went wrong (near New York metro areas there are 5 streets named the same as my street and they sent it to wrong zip code). The package arrived more than one week late, by that time friend had left New York already and I'm stuck with the package.

I tried to contact FedEx to see if they would offer any help (maybe offer us a free shipping for the package from New York to Hong Kong?) to compensate for their mistakes. They offered no help and instead ask me to contact the Vex Robotics to return the package if I want. The vendor is going to charge me restocking fee and return shipping if I choose to return the package, not to mentioned the package wouldn't make it in time to my friend before her son's birthday. The mistakes were all on FedEx, I simply don't understand why they couldn't own up to it and offer help to their customers, and instead just redirect the customers to the vendor which has nothing to do with their shipping mistakes. Very disappointed with the bad customer service and failure to take responsibility to deal with their own failures.

Then tracking showed it was "in transit to USPS" on October 31 and expected delivery was November 4. Nothing was delivered on that date. Now updated tracking on November 4 shows "in transit to local post office" with no expected delivery date. One wonders if FedEx is not purposefully delaying the transfer to USPS so as to not siphon business away from its home delivery service.

I will not accept Fedex home delivery with signature required for a valuable item again. If the seller won't change carrier, no sale. Reasons: 1: Insecure. Fedex will accept the signature of anyone on the property. I insist on being able to authorize specific people to accept parcels on my behalf. 2: Inconvenient: Fedex's delivery window is 9 am to 4 pm. In other words, someone has to stay home an entire working day. With computerized route planning, they could easily commit to a 1-hour window. 3: Inadequate release from hold: I cannot designate another person to pick up for me. Fedex will only accept my signature.

4: Inadequate hold period. Fedex will only hold for 2 weeks. USPS vacation hold is one month. 5: Inadequate hold locations. Fedex has no hold location in my city (Alameda, CA). Have to go to Oakland, which is a vile place to visit. 6: Ignore customer instructions. I specified Friday 11/3 as delivery day. Instruction was acknowledged. Fedex delivered on Wednesday 11/1. Conclusions: Fedex home delivery is unreliable, inconvenient and they don't give a blip. USPS is superior in every respect. I will not allow a seller to use Fedex as carrier again.

They apologized and stated they are under contract with FedEx and FedEx does not require the recipients to sign for packages. So Chewy.com said they would resend me another package and request for a signature this time.

Well, I just received my package today and FedEx didn’t even bother to ring my doorbell! Luckily my son come home and seen the package on the porch! I looked at the shipping label and it clearly specified that a signature is required! How hard is it to get a signature or ring a doorbell? Obviously the FedEx delivery drivers could care less about great service and obviously does not pay attention to details. On Oct 11 I bought a $400 dollars camera from eBay, the person immediately shipped the camera, since the person lives 2 hours away from me the camera arrived to my city the next day. On Oct 12 I checked the tracking number and according to FedEx the package was left on my porch, I look out my apartment and there is no package. I check the tracking number and noticed there is no apartment number on the address. I call FedEx and the agent opens up a case for a missing item, according to her, the delivery man left the package in another home, and FedEx takes 48 hours to be able to contact the driver and asks them where did they left the package, and gives them time to retrieve the package. She asks for my full address with an apartment number and says that I will be receiving a follow up call on Monday.

Monday arrives no call no package, I give them the benefit of the doubt and wait till Tuesday. Since I did not received a call I call them back. The agent was so rude, she said it was not FedEx fault that the package had no apartment number. I tell her that the other agent said they would interview the driver and she said they do not do that, she hangs up. Wed Oct. 18: I get home and there is a door tag, the door tag says "pick up" but the person who wrote it apparently forgot to write down a FedEx location for me to pick up the package. I call FedEx again, the machine won't let me talk to an agent, but says the package will be delivered the next day.

Thur. Oct 19th: I was home all day, around 3:30 I call FedEx again to check the tracking number that came with the door tag and apparently there was an attempted delivery at 2:45, I look out again, there is no door tag (which should to note that there was a second attempt to deliver) or package. I call FedEx again, the agent says the delivery person is going to the home where the package was left the first time and bring it to my home and that I should wait.

Friday Oct 20th, the status of the door tag changes and says the recipient refused package and package will be returned to the seller. I was a little bit relieved. All I had to do was contact the seller and ask to ship the camera back. The problem is that FedEx never updated the first tracking number, which says the item was delivered on Oct 12 on my front porch.

I wait a couple of days, thinking that the seller was going to contact me as soon as she/he receives the package back and nothing. I call FedEx for an update on the package going back and the agent says the package arrived. By this time a week had passed since the door tag incident. Thursday Oct. 2: I call eBay to see if I can get a refund because I never received my package, but I can't since Fedex never updated the initial tracking number. I call FedEx to see if they can update the initial tracking number so that it would match what the door tag says but according to the agent the door tag number does not exists and it is not on their records, the only thing they see on their records was that the package was left on my porch and that I opened a missing item case, so to their eyes the package was delivered.

However, when I call FedEx, the machine says that the item was sent back, which means the number does exists, also when I look at the number on the FedEx web page the number does show up and says the item was sent back. However, it also says it never arrived to the destination. Also, the tracking number used for the door tag is different than the initial tracking number and should not those two be connected? However, I know it sounds I should be blamed for forgetting to add an apartment number, but this whole area is full of apartments, if the package came without an apartment number the obvious thing to do would be to mark the item as underivable. I think Fedex lost the package and are trying to cover it up and I'm seriously considering filing an small claims.

I wanted to ship a small package to a Developing Country. The FedEx office gave me no information except a general comment that my package delivery would be ‘subject to customs.’ Duh. Estimated delivery to the door was 3 days. I paid a premium, of course. When the package arrived in the country they sent an email to my recipient asking her to jump through various hoops to get the package. Taxes and ‘storage fees’ would accrue every day there was a delay in response. I had to open a FedEx account to pay those. My uneducated, poor recipient was not able to fulfill the delivery requirements.

Events that transpired: phone calls with FedEx employees speaking unintelligible English; calls to FedEx numbers that never picked up; wrote responses from employees when they were reached. It is hard to believe that the so-called premier global shipping company does not even provide simple guidelines to its customers for international shipping, things like: Customs charges and taxes will be added; custom delays are expected in this country; shipping of value over $X amount may be subject to additional requirements in country of destination, etc. I followed up on this shipment for 7 days every day without any satisfaction from FedEx. Total loss to me may approach $1000. Be warned, if you use the Post Office you are also likely using FedEx - they have a contract with the USPS. Next time I go to UPS.

I called them and asked them to have the driver come back. They took my address and the tracking number of the package, and they did not come and pick it up. A few days later, I called FedEx, held for 30 minutes, and told them the package was still on my porch. They took the information again, and they said they would not come and get it unless I ordered the pick-up under my name (they had the tracking and address). I told them I would not put my name on someone else's package, and I was doing them a service. They refused to come and get it. What the heck? If that was my package, I would have been upset. I called the corporate office the following week and told them I had a package that their local service would not pick up, and they said I needed to keep trying.

I told them there was a package on the door and a hurricane was coming, I was done putting time and effort into it, and "what do you want me to do with it?" She said, "I don't care what you do with it" (exact words). Wow. I called AT&T and told them what I assumed was an expensive electronic device was delivered to my house by error, and FedEx would not come and get it. I gave them the tracking and my address, and suggested since they probably spent millions with FedEx, maybe they would have some pull with getting FedEx to come back.

They never showed. AT&T said "you might have to order a pick-up under your name if they won't come." What a joke. Ever watch border patrol? They wanted me to bring it inside (right). I am not putting my name on it, and I called repeatedly "as a courtesy" so they could come back. It's still here after a month. I will only use UPS since they do not care about the customer or the recipient. Anyone want an expensive electronic device? I assume it's a high-tech phone or tablet of some sort. LOL.

FedEx has partnered with Walgreen drug stores as a pickup and drop off location and have eliminated all of their drop boxes in those areas. The FedEx location website still lists those drop boxes as operational when in fact they have been removed. Walgreens does not have any supplies for FedEx shipping: no airbills, no overnight envelopes. Those supplies used to be stocked in the drop off boxes. Drop offs cannot be scanned in by Walgreen employees, only the FedEx driver can scan in (which would be the same as it was with a drop box). The problem is that you are at the mercy of a Walgreen employee to do the job correctly. That is a problem when sending an item that has to be in someone's hands the next day.

Walgreen pickup times are about 4 hours earlier in the day than the old drop off boxes which creates a real headache for a business user. Calling the 800 number for information is worthless. Filing a complaint is even more worthless since no one ever calls back to investigate the complaint. Their IT department is terrible. They cannot clean up the location website to convey current locations and when trying to sign up for a business account online, we repeatedly receive a "system error" message and cannot complete the application process. Although we have no complaint with the actual delivery of an item, getting it into their system is a nightmare as we are located in a rural area and have to travel 45 minutes to drop off at a staffed location such as the old Kinko's. Of course their response to all of this is to schedule a pickup at our location for an additional fee.

Simple. They are 10 days into a package caught up in their quagmire of a system. It's 4 days past the original due date. At no point along the way have any of their notifications or other "tracking or notification update tools" been of value or easy to use, let alone accurate. After receiving the "notifications" and then not receiving the package, I called a few times, and logged into their app, to get help. No one could help. Each time the information was different (and within an hour of each other) and always different than online, and never confirming it was coming anytime soon, despite that being the point of the fed notification. No one helped, no one had answers, all had different information, transferred me several times, said would call back and didn't, and most importantly, truly did not care.

In fact, each time they were very cavalier, arrogant, almost as if they were not the ones providing the services. The tone was very abrupt, unhelpful, uninformed, not empowered. Bottom line, it didn't come, they can't find it, they don't seem to care one bit. Like "too bad, oh well, next" and they are right. There is nothing I can do. File a claim? So they say. They take forever to get back, only with zero new info, and ultimately deny.

From what all reviews say, and from what I have experienced. Plus, it takes forever and is made to be very annoying and difficult. As if making it so irritating people give up. And they do, it works. Read the reviews! It's the same theme and feedback 100s of times over and over. And they are most expensive. Yet 50/50 AT BEST. Almost always have serious issues. USPS, UPS... Leaps and Bounds better. Honestly, never, not once, had any issue at all both express and "economy", domestic and international, with USPS AND UPS. I was forced to use FEDEX this time, and it will for sure be the last... as if they care. Read the reviews! Don't use them. You will be disappointed and regret it.

As a result, I tracked my package and saw that it was due for delivery the next day and so I checked on it constantly throughout the day to no avail. Finally, at the end of the day/evening I called and the customer service I received was atrocious.

First phone call service representative told me the delivery was rescheduled for the next day but had NO idea if the text message notification services would help or not so I asked to speak with their supervisor but was directed to another who group who ALSO had no idea what the text message services entailed. Also, this person told me that the re-delivery was scheduled for Saturday. When I asked if the site would be updated to show this or if I could somehow have it in writing that this is the new delivery date, she said it was not possible and that I would have to take her word for it. This was only after the person constantly interrupted me during our discussion, the one exception to this was when I asked for her office location for which I had to ask 30 times before she reluctantly gave it to me.

Second phone call the person filed a complaint for me about the people from the first phone call however this person also had no idea about the text message notification services and also said that is was ABSOLUTELY NOT possible for the package to be instructed by FedEx for re-delivery and refused to redirect me to anyone else to ask this question as it simply was not possible and that I would instead have to contact the original shipper and ask them to request FedEx to redeliver.

Third phone call person told me they would reach out to a team to request that my order be redelivered. After waiting on hold for 10 minutes I was asked to take a customer survey and then was disconnected. Fourth phone call person told me they submitted a request for my package to be re-delivered. I asked how I could confirm and the person had no suggestions. I then suggested that I call again tomorrow morning for an update and the person agreed. I still have no idea when the package is being delivered and I never EVER will use FedEx again, I would MUCH rather order from somewhere else or not order the good at all.

We had a package that required an adult signature. It showed on the site that it had arrived Saturday to the town about 25 miles away. It said a delivery attempt was made but we did not get a slip from a driver but assumed it was possible he had been here and it might have blown away. Another attempt was not made until Tuesday and we missed the driver by 10 minutes. Not wanting to make him drive out here again we decided to put a "pick up at site" request to make it easier for both us and the driver. What a huge mistake that was.

First of all it isn't a pick up at the site the next day. It said it was back on a truck. We tried calling and there is absolutely no possible way to contact anyone locally. The automated phone service is a joke, all you get is "I don't understand" from the computer. Apparently a "pick up at site" means they put it on a truck and drive it around for hours and hours. We eventually were able to figure out where the "pick up site" was, a store located less than 3 miles from the hub. Apparently it takes 6 hours to drop the box 3 miles away. Even then it took an additional 4 hours before it was made available for pickup.

Eventually after a long online chat with their customer service chat reps the only thing they were able to do was put in a request that they call us when the package could be picked up. So finally an hour AFTER it would have actually been delivered back at our house we were able to leave and drive 25 miles to the store and finally after a long frustrating day retrieved our package instead of as we originally assumed being able to run in and pick it up in the morning. We should have just waited for the original driver to drive out to our house again. What could have been simple was made into a nightmare experience.

FedEx driver claimed my package was left at my front door as no signature was required. This was around 2:17 pm on the last day of delivery. Approximately thirty to forty minutes after the Fedex updated this shipping status was when I went searching for where it was supposed to have been left and nothing was there. I asked neighbors and nobody seen or knew nothing. Called Walmart (the shipper of my package). They in turn contacted Fedex at which time I was told they had to investigate it and someone would return my call in two hours. Approximately one half hour later a Fedex representative called me back asking about a door tag at which time I told her, "No. There is not and was not a door tag on my door" and I thought she was returning my call to tell me what happened to my package.

She then said it could take up to two days to find out as they was still trying to find the driver. I reassured her how important this issue was due to the fact that my package is a pretty pricey item and she didn't seem to have much concern at all about and I would contact Walmart again to see if I could get my item reshipped which I did do and thanks to Walmart was a hassle free process. My package wasn't discovered until around 9:15 pm and it wasn't due to Fedex following up on it. Fedex driver left my package at an address on a whole different street and when the lady that live there returned home from work and got it, she came to my door and told my Husband and I about it because she couldn't get it in her car because it was a pretty large item.

I called Fedex back and told them what happened. They still never offered to have their driver to complete my delivery from where it was located as if though it was my fault their driver misdelivered my package. Therefore it was left up to me to get it home from there. I will never use Fedex slow directionless drivers service again.

Instigating an investigation with the company, I was informed package was not found and undeliverable. I had to contact seller and they shipped another item. Now it has happened again. A package almost to arrive at destination only to start reversing on the shipping track. But this time it reversed again and is again almost at destination. We'll see if it arrives this time. But it's already a week delayed from what it should have been. Fortunately they are both items of low value, but this time it's delayed a repair job that's been too long in the shop already. I see from the reviews it's happened to others as well. If you're shipping something of importance, don't use FedEx.

Do not use the automated Fedex phone system. It is rigged to hold the package at a location of its choice without user input. I was hoping to make delivery to a FedEx location near my work. Not only it was not an option but when I didn't select any of the presented options the system by default assigned one of pre-selected FedEx locations automatically. It was the furthest location from me and I could not change it! Once the system makes this decision it is not possible to modify it even though I tried to do it online right away.

To make things worse I called the customer service and I was assured that the package will be delivered to my house. The day before delivery I called again to ensure that it will be delivered to my house and I was assured so. Needless to say it was not delivered to my house and it was held at the location. What kind of service cannot provide the window of delivery and requires a customer to sit the whole day waiting??? What kind of system cannot be modified once the erroneous input was accepted??? What kind of reps the company employs that have no clue regarding the system, procedures and how to control the main business??? I will certainly be very cautious to ever use FedEx in the future. I have shipped over 450 packages this year. I have used FedEx 5 times, and 3 out of the 5 packages were returned to me in tatters, with boxes that looked 10 years old and run through a battlefield, not several days old. Please note: the other 445 packages were shipped without issue. I pack everything extremely well, and never have issues... unless the buyer requests FEDEX. I cringe at the very mention of their name, because it means the package will be treated like a hockey puck and arrive damaged. USPS and UPS have never damaged packages. ONLY FEDEX!

The newest decimation of artwork only had to travel 125 miles. I spent $25 - on a massive, double-walled box, and spent over an hour professionally packing the contents against damage. I covered every corner with 'fragile' and 'glass' stickers, and even requested a special note stating the contents were quite delicate. It was simply a glass-framed lithograph from a famous artist, but I exercised every avenue available to ensure it would make the 125-150 mile trip intact.

FEDEX doesn't care. They are - simply stated - one of the worst companies allowed to practice business in the United States. It was 'out for delivery', when I received the worst news possible. 'Shipment damaged, as requested by shipper'. How am I at fault for their inability to not play soccer with every item that comes into their possession? I received the package today - gouges throughout, blunted corners, holes, really dirty exterior... looks to have gone through a battle!!!

I AM CALLING UPON OTHER VICTIMS OF THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY. We need to start either a class-action lawsuit, or otherwise start a sizable petition, to hold FEDEX accountable for their actions. Regardless how well it is packed, if your package is run through a gamut of tortures to simply be delivered, what point is there to using this negligent company. It is a simple task... Get the item you pay a good amount of money to ship from point a to point b, most importantly undamaged!!!

They have cost me lots of money, because they throw, toss, drop, or otherwise mishandle the simplest of things. It is a box, not a soccer ball. Please, contact me via here or on social media. We need to put it out there, so they realize that there are FAR better options out there, and they will go out of business if they continue to lie, cheat and destroy.

Recently shipped a small package from the US to the Dominican Republic. Less than 7 lbs. Cost: $167.99 for next day delivery. Shipped 9-27 for delivery 9-28. This date 10-11-17, package not delivered. Gave contact phones for shipper and recipient, of course. During this fiasco, I have been online and also called FedEx 14 times (I made notes as to who I spoke with and the date-time), and not one time has FedEx ever contacted me or the recipient to explain what was going on. I checked online international tracking and saw many erroneous statements.

For example, one report showed the package going through Santo Domingo to Puerto Plata. Later, I chatted with another customer service person who stated she had more sophisticated tracking and that the package was at that time in Miami. At some later time in this odyssey, FedEx stated that the package was in Sto. Domingo waiting for import duties to be paid. Never did they attempt to contact the shipper or recipient to let them know. If I hadn't finally run down the package there, it would never have gotten through.

I gave my FedEX account number to enable payment of the duties. Next day, checked tracking again, no movement again, and got back to the same FedEx office who advised they were waiting for my account number to release the shipment. Gave the number again. Next day, no further action, called customer support again, eventually back to the same FedEx place and was told they were waiting for my account number to process the shipment.

I mention that I do not raise my voice or curse at these persons. I do express my displeasure and disdain. Every one of them was polite and promised to do exactly what needed to be done and every one of them was inept. This has to be a systemic issue with FedEx. Today they said the shipment came out of customs yesterday which would have been another day later than previously promised (the last promise). They have it marked for weekday delivery only (so they would not incur any expense for special delivery).

Of course, it should be delivered by courier for immediate delivery. Today they promised to credit the charges when and if they ever deliver the package. I have never had a more deceitful, inept, failed shipping experience. I have used them in the past, domestically, with good results. I also say that I understand the culture in the DR, and it is an uphill climb to hope for ethical treatment about anything down there; but an international outfit like FedEx needs to train their employees to behave like honorable people. I rate FedEx International as no good, bad, horrible, dishonest, and counter-productive. My wife waited over a week beyond her planned stay to receive this (a home security system) at a tremendous cost to us and it is likely that she will return to the US without ever having it delivered.

I've had multiple bad experiences with FedEx lately that it's kind of hard to stay silent anymore. Here's one terrifying encounter: First, delivery. I ordered a new phone from Samsung and unfortunately they use FedEx for delivery. The package required a delivery signature and two days in a row, I get a notification that an attempt was made but I had no door tag on my front door. I kept calling them telling them 1) I didn't get a door tag (I saw the delivery attempts via tracking) which meant the driver was possibly going to the wrong place. 2) Was it possible for them to hold the package so I could pick it up. They insisted that 3 delivery attempts had to be made before the package would be held (stupid policy but hey, it's their time and gas). Fortunately, on the 3rd delivery attempt, I happened to be at home and all morning, no one came to the door, I decided to check my email and saw that the package was listed as delivered but it was not in front of my door.

I ran to each neighbor's door and saw a package containing an $800 phone lying in the grass next to my neighbor's house in full view of a busy street. I was so mad that I called FedEx immediately. They listened to me but once they found out I had my package, they ended the call. I found out through my personal investigation that the driver had left the door tag at my neighbor's house and they had signed it and left it on their door. I live in a row of houses that look the same but with different numbers. For some reason, the driver went to the first house in the row without confirming the address. This is negligence on their part and if that phone had been stolen, they would definitely have been liable considering that they delivered to the wrong address. Don't care if they had a signature on file or not. My toddler can do their job better than them because he knows the difference between 1A and 4A!

I was supposed to have a express domestic package delivered to my house, however they came by in the afternoon while I was out, and left a note telling me that they had come by and I was not home, so I could pick it up at a FedEx store or have my package redelivered. I understand why they can't just leave a package out in the open, but what I don't understand is why they sent it to a store almost 45 minutes away from my house when I have a FedEx store just a couple blocks from my house. Just to put it out there I am a student who works and takes part in clubs and extracurriculars, so a 45 minute drive really doesn't fit in with my busy schedule.

Anyways rather than run into the same problem again I went online to try and schedule a more convenient delivery time which wasn't helpful whatsoever. First I had to create an account, then, according to their system, there was a system error and it couldn't create my account, so I check to make sure everything is correct and submit my form again, no success. I wait a few minutes and try to once again make an account, same problem, so I once more and I was still unsuccessful, at this point I was livid and decided to just sign the dog tag and leave a note with it telling them to just leave it with the neighbor. I don't mean to sound overdramatic but if you pay extra to have something express delivered, you shouldn't have to jump through so many hoops in order to be able to receive it.

I wasn't sure what was going on, so I took a day off of work and spent the day knitting by the front door and sitting outside on my stoop. That very day at 3 p.m. I received a notification on my phone of an attempted delivery, yet no one ever came to my door. I even had a situation where FedEx sent a third and final attempt notification even though they had never given me a first or second attempt at delivery notification, again because they never came to my door. This has happened six times now. The only way I can possibly get a package is to have it delivered to a physical location so that I can go pick it up.

Another irritating incident that I ran into while out of town was a delivery notification to a physical FedEx business of a case of wine. Because I was out of town I called the manager of that location to make sure that my friend who was over 21 and had a valid driver's license could pick up the wine. I called on two separate occasions to make sure that she would not be wasting her time. And yet, when she arrived they told her she could NOT pick up the box of wine with a valid ID even though she was over 21 because it had to be given to the recipient of the package. This order was for a knife that I purchased at the Big E fair in Springfield Mass. It arrived in a Cardboard box that was totally ruined. The container that the knife is in was misformed.

Even though you will pay for express shipping they will let your package sit forever and blame it on the government. They have no customer service help in Jamaica and no one knows what is going on. The agents are lazy. They don't read the notes and is of no help. Each time you call you speak to a new person and you must repeat your story a hundred times. I cringe when choosing overnight or 2 day shipping, and later find out it is shipping via FedEx. The route in my area is structured in such a way that the truck delivering expedited deliveries does not arrive until after 4:30 PM. Since we are a business that closes at 4:00 PM, the driver skips by us. I have been in the parking lot, waving at the driver, trying to flag him down, but he just cruises on by. This even happens when we call FedEx to inform them that we are going to be on site after hours, waiting for the package. In some instances, the package doesn't go out for delivery the following day either (this happened again this week). So, it frequently takes 3 or 4 days for a 2 day delivery, and almost always 2 or 3 days for overnight delivery via FedEx.

The standard FedEx delivery route that serves our area tends to be a little more reliable, delivering to our address in the early afternoon in most cases; however, we have been having another issue that is compounding our dissatisfaction with FedEx lately, one for which is making standard ground deliveries even more frustrating.

That issue has three parts: Tracking, Basic logistics, and Customer support. Tracking: It is rare that a package that is shipped ground with FedEx has recently updated information when tracked. Often times we will track a shipment that is scheduled for delivery that day, at around 11:00 AM or so, and it will show arriving at the facility that is supposed to dispatch delivery. Sometimes it will still show departing a facility in another state the day before. Sometimes it doesn't even show departures, just arrivals at facilities along the way, leaving us guessing.

Basic logistics: Recently, packages seem to get stuck at various facilities. An example is a package that I ordered for myself that I had shipped to work for convenience reasons. It was food for my puppy. There was free shipping, and no carrier specified when the order was placed. When I got the email notification that it shipped, I palmed my face upon seeing that it was shipping FedEx. Anyway, I hoped for the best, and kept an eye on the tracking information.

It was scheduled for delivery on Thursday, 9/28/2017 by the end of the day, and had arrived at a facility 4 hours away at about 2:00 AM Thursday morning. "That's promising," I thought. Thursday came and went, but no puppy food arrived. Friday morning I checked the tracking, and it changed from an expected delivery of Thursday, to "pending" and a note of, "No scheduled delivery date available at this time". So, I went to the store to pick up the closest food to what my puppy has been eating that I could find locally (she has an upset stomach and the runs as a result of suddenly changing food now), and kept checking to see if the package would start moving again. Today (Saturday the 30th) I decided to reach out to FedEx after not receiving the package, or seeing an update on tracking. Which leads me to the last category.

Customer service: The number to call for Customer Service isn't readily available via FedEx's website, so I tried the chat feature that pops up by simply saying that I was inquiring about the status of shipping number ** that was originally expected to be delivered on Thursday. Almost instantly, I got a canned reply stating something along the lines of, "Although your shipment does not have an expected delivery date at this time, you will continue to receive updates as your package moves along the bla bla bla, what else can I help you with?" or something to that effect.

So, I scrolled down to the bottom and found a link to a number to call. Seemed simple enough. It turned out to be an answering service with voice prompts that took a little while to navigate into a category that met my needs. Once I navigated into "package didn't arrive" I spoke the tracking number into the bot, and got a very similar response to the chat reply earlier. So, I said, "Operator". And, was connected to a real human being, somewhat surprisingly. Someone calling himself Paul answered, and was very pleasant and understanding. He gave me a case number, and said I would receive a call in the next couple of hours regarding this shipment.

I was out walking my ill puppy when I missed a call from a Texas number. The message that was left by someone calling themselves Roshanta was a polished message saying, "I am returning your call regarding bla bla case number bla bla. Please call me back at general number that you already called with no extension to reach me directly bla bla." Or something to that effect. In other words, sending me into a loop that doesn't seem to be structured in such a way that would help, but is intended to make people feel better psychologically without actually resolving the issue.

This is the first time I have dealt with this specific issue directly, as our Finance Department normally handles orders; however, our Finance department has frequently complained about this exact scenario on numerous occasions in the last year or so. Now I feel their pain first hand... Anyway, that's my two cents worth based on recent experiences (rather frustrations) with FedEx.

I say possibly more as it remains on the truck to be possibly delivered late today which I remain doubtful of and possibly out 4 more days till Tuesday according to their site that routinely misinforms me. I would love to understand how a package arrives in Walnut, California Monday afternoon and moves only 7 miles down the road to the City of Industry late Wednesday night. Many but many times I have told FedEx customer service and gave them my business hours (which are posted on my door) but they always keep delivering at the time they feel like, disregarding the business hours. In consequence my packages always gets send back to the sender after FedEx third attempt of delivery, which THEY WILL ALWAYS ATTEMPT TO DELIVER out of my regular business hours!!

I have explained this situation several times to their customer service team to only find out that it was just a waste of my time! Because after explaining my complaint to FedEx special advocate customer team my packages still are being send back to its sender because they still continue to deliver outside of my regular business hours (9 years of the same frustration) Is very frustrating to deal with this situation every time I need a package to be delivered to my business by FedEx. But it looks like nothing will ever change with FedEx. I'm on their mercy to receive my packages always causing most of the time a delay over 20 days and many times I had to even reorder my purchases again because they were send back to its senders.

This is written after long time of frustration with this company. Someone must put them out of business. We have been sending packages with this company for the past three years international and national. I would say that 60-70% of the time - there are "issues" with the delivery. The imagination will not be able to describe the mistakes that are being done by this COMPANY. Here are just a few examples: losing packages, sending packages to the Philippines instead of Philadelphia, Lying about weather delays whereas the package was misplaced, delaying packages in their stations because they thought it is not that important to be delivered as it was supposed to (overnight) and more. Their right hand does not what their left hand is doing.

In addition to the poorly run FedEx in the USA, the problem is even bigger much bigger with their representative in ISRAEL (FLYING CARGO) - this company is the worse ever. If FEDEX USA cared for their customers they would never be contracted with this company in Israel. Totally incompetent company with incompetent people, none of them care about their job or their customers, performance at the level of a third world country, poor customer service, unable to perform their work at the expected level. I hope and wish that we could find and identify alternatives because none of us should be using these companies. FEDEX USA should be encouraged to find another representative for them in Israel. This is a must.

I purchased a set of oversized tires for my truck on Friday Sept 22, 2017. The company I purchased the tires from ships through FedEx, which was fine by me. I'd always had fast and positive results with FedEx. I'd noticed my tracking info was looking strange on Sunday morning as the tracking was showing "in transit " in Memphis several times but no arrival at the FedEx Facility. I called customer service on Monday at 8 am. I went through a couple worthless reps before I found "Marquise" who identified the abnormalities and placed me on hold to contact that Memphis hub. He quickly came back and confirmed them to me in Memphis and their manager was certain it was out for delivery. He stated they would put a trace on the package and would call me back.

Since I had to be home and sign for the items, I called back at 1030 to check on the trace. Once again I had to sternly request the Customer Advocate Dept to speak with a helpful English speaking employee. I was connected with a guy named Eddie. I explained my situation, Eddie identified the notes of the call and said he would check with the hub. He came back and stated he spoke with a manager there and confirmed it's on the truck, out for delivery and to stay home since my items were en route.

FedEx is generally done making drop offs in town early in the day, so by 3 I went looking for our FedEx Ground Delivery driver. I found him at a local pick-up point. He stated he didn't have my shipment of tires and haven't spoken with any Managers pertaining to them. He confirmed if they were out for delivery, he was for sure have them as no one else runs this route. I explained the circumstances of this morning as he laughed and shook his head. He said it was the norm for Customer Service to lie about shipments just to appease and get people off the phone.

I came back home and immediately began speaking with managers in customer service. None of them were remotely say anything like I'd been told that morning. In fact they were saying my items were even in Memphis. I'd explained the reps I'd spoke with but she was unable and really wasn't interested in identify those employees until I pushed her to do something. She failed to take it upon their self to submit a complaint until I called her out on their lack of concern from being blatantly lied to. She insisted the FedEx.com tracking information is never as accurate as their internal system.

FedEx basically LIED, for what reason I don't know? The shipment wasn't scheduled for delivery until Tuesday Sept 26, 2017. I wasn't expecting the shipment on the 25th until they physically told me it was out for delivery on the 25th. This caused me to waste a day sitting at home for NOTHING. Now, the next day will be the same exact thing, waiting for the FedEx driver. I don't get it? Why lie? There was no need in it. Telling customers the truth is what reflects the integrity of a company. FedEx has NONE. I called my local FedEx Office location and received more help and information on the actual location of my shipment than from a high-level manager in Customer Service. If this is what you want to deal with, then by all means FedEx is for you. Otherwise, I'm done with FedEx. I can't deal with lying to just to get customers off the phone.

This is a continuous issue. We have perishable medications shipped overnight on Thursday for next day delivery on Friday. By Friday afternoon the package will not have been delivered. When we call FedEx they say the package has not been sent overnight (which is incorrect), and claim it will be delivered on Monday as their ground service is not open on Saturday and Sunday.

By Monday the medication is no longer viable for use and must be sent back. We now have patients who will not be given the medication they need. When we try to request the package is held at a location for pickup they say it can not be held until Monday. It is extremely frustrating to work with such incompetent customer service. It is disappointing that they do not offer better solutions for customers and don't even follow through with their correct orders. I advise you stay away from FedEx if possible and use USPS instead.

I was at my desk at 1:39pm and was at my desk since 6:30am. My assistant was also at the front desk. There is ALWAYS someone monitoring the front area since this is a child care center. There was NO delivery attempt made during this day. In fact, UPS made 2 deliveries this day and a courier delivered an envelope on this day. We have deliveries daily and in 8 years there has never been "a delivery attempt was made but no one was available" issue. We have been waiting on this package and I've been tracking it since Tuesday. We needed it on Thursday, the day it was promised.

I called the 1-800 number and spoke to a very unhappy or tired gentleman telling me an attempt was made and a 2nd attempt will not be made the same day. The first attempt was never made!! He finally gave me a case # ** and told me he would call the station. The truck never attempted the "2nd" delivery. Isn't there a GPS tracking system on the trucks? How can drivers lie and get away with it? There should be some accountability. :(

Then he said it had to be re-packaged and confused, I asked "Why?" He said that the corrugated cardboard wasn't heavy enough so I asked how much that would cost and he said $5.99. That's the only conversation we had. He rang it up and I paid with my credit card thinking I was getting a good price. When I looked at my receipt, the charge was over $17.00. I asked him why he didn't tell me it would cost that much and he said he did. This was an outright lie so I asked for my package back with the outside box removed and a refund of my money. There was a real disconnect here and I believe that he deliberately misled me. I took my package to the US Post Office and it cost a little over $8.00 to mail it.

Hurricane Irma had not even hit the Keys at 12 noon ET on 9/8. If they are going to be late - instead of promising things they can't deliver, they need to be more communicative of their issues.

I have no problems with employees going home before a hurricane - just let the customers KNOW. Terrible service. I won't use FedEx for any personal usage. FedEx is a terrible shipping/delivery company. I have several signs on our front porch/door to only deliver packages to the back porch. FedEx drivers consistently ignore this and packages sometimes sit on our front porch for a few days because we don't use our front door which has no walkway to the gate, only mud or grass. When they do deliver to the back of the house it's not always on the porch. One time they left 2 huge, heavy boxes from Chewy which contained and were labeled as "cat trees." The driver was too lazy to nudge the ajar gate open and carry the boxes 20 feet to the back porch. He/she left them out in our driveway with rain forecast. I had to lug these massive boxes myself and wrenched my back in the process. This was over a month ago and my back still is injured.

The delivery manager from the office told me the driver thought there was a dog inside the gate, which was not locked. There is no evidence of a dog... No chains or lines, no water or food bowls, no beware of dog signs etc. AND, it said "CAT TREES" on the sides of the boxes in big letters. Poor excuse for simply being too lazy to complete their job and task at hand. FedEx drivers also speed up and down a small, gravel road next to my house and have 3' x 2' black and yellow "SLOW. 10 MPH. Kids at Play" speed limit signs on the road. One of these goofs is going to hit one of these kids who play around the area daily because they don't pay attention and don't care, just as long as they make deliveries with time to spare. Careless, reckless, and negligent. I try not to deal with business that use FedEx as their carrier and won't when I find out that they do.

This is the 4th or 5th occurrence this month. Regular driver does not show up. Tracking shows item to be delivered is on truck for delivery. There appears to be no plan in place by driver (franchise owner) or Pittston Hub when driver is a no show. Item(s) to be delivered are delayed until driver shows up -- several days later. There was a great regular driver a few years ago but since he left there have been multiple problems -- No shows, delivery of direct signature to wrong address and signed by 14 year old, driver who threatened to knock me out because he was called back to deliver when he tried to bypass and say I was not home, drivers using unmarked box trucks with no package confinement so packages slam against each other on floor of truck (sub-contracted drivers) -- to name a few issues.

Reporting to 800# and Pittston Hub manager changes nothing. FedEx knows we are at their mercy because companies use them as preferred shipping service. Hub supervisor/manager actually said to me at one point -- "but you are getting better delivery some of the time, right?" That pretty much sums up the issue.

I ordered a product on August 25th. I admit it was poor timing with the Hurricane, but the company I was ordering from was in Indiana. It took them FOUR days for FedEx to create a shipping label and two full days before they bothered even shipping it out. THEN an additional 6 days to drive by car. 14 hours from Indianapolis to Dallas. Fine, again there is a hurricane. I understand that natural disasters aren't planned for. However, it is now Sept 5th at this time. They were quicker taking it from Dallas to Phoenix, which arrived early this morning (the 8th).

But to my surprise, they pushed back when I would receive my item (originally Saturday the 9th and then to Monday the 11th) in the span of a day so it is now out for delivery on the 12th. Really FedEx? It takes 2 hours to drive from Phoenix to Tucson. So I conclude: FedEx is still in the day of horseback and has no idea what a truck is. I was supposed to receive my package on Aug 30th. I instead got a call that they had not been provided with the full address and therefore could not deliver it today. I called back and provided the address. They said it would be delivered on the 31st. I had the class that day, and within 10 min of returning home from class, I received an email stating they missed me and would deliver it on the 1st. This repeated itself on the 1st, with them stating they would then deliver it on the 5th. I stayed home all day on the fifth. Around noon I got another email stating that it was rescheduled to the next day. I called and asked why. At first, they said it was because I wasn't home. I replied that I hadn't left my home all day and that no one had come to the door all day. They then said it was because they didn't have my correct address. I pointed out that I had provided that the week before. Apparently, it had not been saved to my file. I provide the address.

Then the 6th rolls along, and I again receive the "sorry we missed you" email shortly after arriving home from class. Again, I assume they left just before I arrived. So we come to today, Sept. 7th. I was sitting by my window and watched the truck drive by, without stopping. Less than 10min later, I receive another email stating they missed me. So I call customer service and explain that I was home, and watched their driver just drive by without stopping. They are oh so apologetic and put me on hold so they could contact the driver, when I got off hold they said the driver would turn around and I would receive my package today. Fast forward an hour and the situation repeats itself, the truck drives by without stopping. I'm now starting to suspect that all the times I thought the truck had been there just shortly before I arrived home from class that the truck had just driven by without stopping as well.

I call FedEx. They say they will give my number to the driver and I will absolutely hear back soon. 2 hours later I get another email that it has been rescheduled for the next day. I call FedEx for the third time today. I get told that despite what I was told earlier, the FedEx driver did not and cannot go back to my place today, and it was an unrelated truck I saw. They say it will be delivered tomorrow. I ask to speak to a manager because I've already heard 3 different stories today. The manager says that there is no way that they can get my package to me today. The best they can do is have it transferred to FedEx Express, which would be a different courier, and that they would then be able to get it to me on Monday.

It's currently Thursday. It's been exactly a week since I was supposed to receive my package. Even if this was just a pair of socks I bought online this is still an unacceptable level of service. My package, however, is a device to monitor my pulse, as I have a rare form of tachycardia, and I am unable to feel or tell when my pulse is getting too high. Without a way to monitor my pulse, I literally risk passing out anytime I stand up, and the stress this situation is causing doesn't help. I did inform FedEx of this during my calls as to why I was so frustrated and upset that my package had not been delivered, and no one cared. I will still have to wait until Monday to receive it.

My review echoes others. I ordered a new phone from Verizon. FedEx attempted to deliver a week ago but I'm not home during the day and they required a signature. The door tag said to sign it, leave it on the door and they would deliver again. It's a week later and no phone. I got an email three days ago saying it would be delivered yesterday, Saturday. I was home all day. Went out to dinner, came home and my package was not delivered. Had another email saying it had been delivered at 3:17 and left at my front door. It wasn't. The FedEx website also said it had been delivered. Called FedEx and an extremely rude employee told me it had not been delivered and they would put a trace on it.

I said I was concerned that someone had stolen it and I asked why they sent me an email saying they did and became very rude. She said I just didn't like the answer she gave me. Then I called Verizon and she said she'd have to get FedEx on the phone, that once my iPhone left Verizon, they couldn't do anything. A FedEx rep got on the phone and said my package wouldn't be delivered until Tues. and that it required a signature (direct opposite of the instructions on the door tag). I said I was concerned that the package had been stolen as I had an email saying it was left at my front door. He started yelling at me so I hung up on him. I will never, ever deal with FedEx again. I've never been treated like that by a customer service dept. Shame on them.

Your delivery driver in my area is the worst, and this reflects very negatively on your service. Some items that are being shipped by your drivers are very valuable and should not be taken lightly. This Driver has my item that is over $400 and does not even get out of his truck to attempt to deliver, and then says he left a door tag, but I've been sitting next to my door all day in anticipation of this item. This delivery was never attempted and if it has happened to me I'm pretty sure it has happened to several people. I will be going on every blog site I can think of and tell them how horrible my service is with FedEx and telling them to deter from using FedEx at all cost, don't worry I'll tag you guys in it, signed a very disgruntled customer!

On more than one occasion I have had shipping times changed, delivery times changed and have had packages that are marked fragile or glass rolled up or downstairs on delivery. Their pricing is ridiculous and their customer service is absolutely awful. This is why I will use UPS anytime over FedEx.

I have had FedEx just throw my package in my yard or leave it outside of my fence. I have requested that someone needs to sign for my packages and I would find that package on my porch or yard and I didn't sign for it. When I worked the people who delivered to my work were always nice and polite. But since I haven't been working I feel like some of the people just don't care.

The first time this happened, they claimed that no one was home. There is a secretary at the front desk 24 hours a day! So that excuse was bs. In all honesty this company is unprofessional and something needs to be done!

I have lately had a problem with my packages either blatantly not being attempted to be delivered or my delivery instructions being ignored. I clearly have a note for my address online saying to leave my packages at the door in my apartment complex but drivers constantly override it themselves and decide to take the packages with them which is incredibly inconvenient. Of course, I had paid for two day delivery recently and my package was supposed to arrive yesterday. I was waiting all day, and finally at 8 pm, FedEx updated the status so that my delivery would arrive today.

So I get home today to find delivery was "attempted" aka my instructions were ignored. I had to call and explain this is a recurring issue and now will be waiting hours and hours not knowing when it'll get here because the driver said he'd return today (and hopefully not ignore my request) because this is recurring. Online tracking did not update and is still saying to expect it tomorrow which considering I work 10 am - 6 pm, is kind of a joke.

Recently I had placed an order with a company who ships exclusively through FedEx. I had just moved to a new home and made sure the new address and delivery instructions were clear. On the day that my package was supposedly "received" I never got it. I was home at the time FedEx stated the package was delivered and there was no doorbell, no knocking and no one entering the property to leave the package on the front porch, as it was stated (my dog barks when someone comes through the gate).

I called FedEx the same day and had to go through 3 different back and forth calls with three different agents to get an investigation launched. This investigation then took 5 days, just for them to say that the package was delivered to the front porch. We had checked with all of the neighbors the same day as well and they had not received any packages from FedEx. FedEx could provide no proof of delivery such as a photo of the package on the doorstep (like Amazon does) or anything other than the word of the driver that it was delivered.

Overall, the issue was NOT resolved and FedEx came back saying there was nothing they could do about the issue. No replacement, I didn't have the option ever to speak with the driver and find out more information about where they may of left it, etc. Luckily the company I ordered from was extremely accommodating and resent the order, making up for FedEx's mistake and poor, slow customer service. If I ever have a choice, I WILL NOT use FedEx to get anything anywhere.

Extremely displeased with FedEx. They 'allegedly' delivered a parcel via ground to a third party (not the recipient). The parcel was never delivered to the recipient and is missing. A claim was filed. I had to chase them for resolution and found their conduct to be dismissive. The declared value on the form was stated to be $200 but they said they would only pay $100, as that was all they were liable for and they wouldn't charge for the delivery (big of them!) Will not be using them again.

Recently, I relocated from PA to OR. I shipped 5-6 boxes. It was supposed to be a door to door delivery. Instead, the delivery person left all the boxes in front of my new apartment complex under the open sky. At that time I was still on the road. I called FedEx customer service and requested them to keep the boxes in front of my apartment door. But they did not do it though I paid for door to door service. Then my TV was also broken. They packed and shipped the TV. So, I filed a claim. After two week of filing the claim, I called them to get an update. They informed me that the claim was denied since they did not receive any claim form. But I checked the email I sent them, all the necessary information was there. I am sick, frustrated and extremely unsatisfied with their professionalism. Never ever FedEx.

Because a lazy driver refused to make his Saturday deliveries due to "congestion and flooding". I will be without medication while a hurricane is en route. Today is a slightly cloudy with some wind but certainly not worse than any sort of average cloudy day. We had some rain last night but it was just a typical night where it just so happens to rain. There is zero flooding in Houston right now. On top of that no one is really evacuating because the hurricane isn't actually threatening us with anything worse than flooding over a four day period starting TOMORROW.

That said I won't be able to so much as walk while the actual severe weather happen. They said I'll get on Monday which is bull because if it does flood I'm screwed till after Wednesday. In the meantime I'm going to be suffering from cataplectic attacks (seizure like episodes) where I lose control of every muscle in my body and hit the floor. The perfect situation you want your body to be in before severe weather. I would be sympathetic if weather was bad today. Maybe if it was even raining really hard I'd give him a break. But it's bright out. No flooding. Not raining. No one evacuating and even if they were not in my direction. The jerk decided to take his Saturday off.

MY FIRST COMPLAINT EVER. I have been waiting on a package for over 2 weeks now. I've been calling for the past 4 days to FedEx trying to find what’s been going on and where are my packages. Well I was told that they were a little behind and I would receive them the next business day. 3 days came and went this is what they told me every day. So yesterday I call and now they say they can deliver it to local FedEx the next day so I go to the location which is 20 miles out of my way to see if packages are there. Guess what? They were never deliver. Then I call Fedex again. Now they tell me it will be there the next day and guess what? I am still waiting on my packages.

I can't believe that a corporation like FedEx have people that cannot get a simple delivery right. I am the type of person that never complain. This is my first complaint I have ever submitted in my life. I am so disappointed in the way FedEx employees are handling this situation that is still going on. Pittston PA office needs to be more organized and trained how to talk to people. If I had the choice of giving 5 negative stars they would be the first in line. I will never use FedEx to ship anything and I hope companies start to switch their shipping to other companies that do their job efficiently. I would spend the extra money for delivery if it was delivered when it was supposed to.

Let's start off by saying that my experience with FedEx today was HORRIBLE! The following pictures show the package that was delivered on my doorstep. It was a comforter delivered in a plastic bag. The bag had a hole in it with the contents of the inside of the comforter hanging out of the package! Who in the world delivers this kind of package? I believe there was more than one FedEx employee that saw this but just kept moving it along. The package looked like it had been through a hurricane! Shame on you and your employees for having such low standards as that. As the consumer, I am the one that had to spend over an hour of my day trying to correct your mistake! To make matters worse, when I called to schedule a pickup from my house to send the item back, the agent told me I had the wrong return label and she couldn't help me! I will never use FedEx by choice!

I contacted FedEx and explained the situation and they assured me they would talk to the driver and have him pick it up and deliver it to me the following day. 3 days later I called FedEx again and was once again told the same story and still no results. I called the person to whom the package was delivered and they would not return my call. After two weeks of this runaround, I called the Sheriff's Department and they got my package. So I ordered a package online and then ordered a second package from them two weeks later. I had no problem with my first shipment. It was sent USPS, the second shipment was FedEx International. So from what I am understand you are unable to ship postal with FedEx international. The carrier who did my delivery called my local post office for my residential address which was incorrect and delivered my package there. I'm irritated because I order this package a month ago.

I called FedEx customer service last week and the seller and I feel like I am getting the runaround. The address they sent the package to I had a change of address on Sinai. Don't understand why the post office gave them that address and I am more upset that I didn't get the option to pick my package up from a FedEx center instead of just taking it to an address that I haven't even affiliated with in three years. This is the worst service I have ever received especially since I am being told my package had been delivered to my doorstep. Not my doorstep! So I didn't get my package and won't be getting my money back. Please thank your driver for the complete inconvenience.
