I hate FedEx. Always problems. Fake delivery, fraudulent delivery tickets ("Oh, I was here and you were not"), no detailed tracking, no delivery window times, etc. etc. Explain to me why in 2018 I should sit home for an entire day waiting for a package? Can they not put live tracking on their trucks? Oh, I guess they would get caught in lies. Like the multiple times they've said they tried to gain access to my building but could not. IDEA >> TRY RINGING THE DOORBELL. Terrible company with terrible service. I actually prefer USPS and that is saying a LOT.

I paid expedited next day service for a package that would otherwise take 3-5 business days to receive. Now, I wanted to make absolutely sure I didn't miss the driver so I sat looking out the front window the entire morning. After going online to track the package I found out that it was documented the driver showed up around 10:58a but when I called it was around 11:20. And guess what? The package had already been returned to the depot? What? I called customer service and now the fiasco begins. First, they tell me the driver documented that they left a tag on the door. The lady on the phone is asking me as I'm standing outside in front of my door "Sir... are you sure you don't see a tag?" What... NO! There's nothing here. She calls me back a few hours later to tell me the package again has been returned to the depot and schedule for delivery tomorrow. Then they told me the driver was sick and had left early for the day.

So, what does that have to do with my package not being delivered? What... if he gets sick then everyone on his route is **! I demanded a refund and guess what... they give me yet another 1-800 number to call? Unbelievable! You're the one who didn't deliver the service you promised yet I have to jump through more hoops and ** to get back what I paid for but didn't get in the first place. Totally unprofessional. I will never ever use nor recommend this company for delivery services again. A horrible experience. I can only imagine how many people they ** over on any given day and pocket the money but fall short delivering the services they promised. FedEx sucks! Brown and USPS gets my business going forward.

My shipment has been lost and I have tried to file a claim online only I would have to create an account which I do not want to do. I was on my second call for 15 minutes, was transferred 3 times only to get an answering machine. The customer service is REALLY lacking here. No person contacted me about my missing package, I finally called them. They said they wouldn't call me until the scheduled delivery date. I would expect FedEx would take into consideration people arrange their schedules to be gone for a shipment and now we are out work days when they could have notified us sooner. This has really put us in a bind and no one seems to want to help.

I bought online stuffs from a really good service site (I would say best service ever), however send it via FedEx. My package tracking said it should be delivered 3 days ago but nope. Nothing happened. Contacted FedEx and the worker sounds really lazy, she said they needed invoice so I'm just like, "Okay what does that have to do with me because I already gave everything about my information." She said I needed to contact with online seller. Like what the **, FedEx should contact them and not me! She even lied and saying that because ''I'' don't have invoice, the package could not get in the country, like you think I'm a fool?! It's already been in the country and in the same city for 3 days.

I wish FedEx company closed down. Why? 1. You shouldn't lie to the customers. 2. All the workers sounds like an **. I apologize for you saying bad words but I'm not apologizing for hating on FedEx because I spent so much money to get the outfit for festival while getting nothing on time and FedEx just chilling at their office eating their **.

I requested a pickup, the app shows a hold for me to pickup at the location I requested, then the app says it is returned to the shipper. I called the customer service of FedEx and had a never to tell me that all requests are NOT guaranteed. So why you offer requests for pickups? I will never get the package from the shipper. It is just a hassle to deal with FEDEX. What is the CEO doing about all of this complaints? The FedEx website has fake news on their website about being so diligent with their service. Oh please. I would give this a zero stars if I could. FedEx CONTINUOUSLY leaves packages at the front of my gate instead of walking them up to the door. The gate is NOT locked. There are package thieves that browse the area just looking to steal. I have called to report this issue several times and every time I do, the driver leaves the package in my neighbor's yard, down the street instead of mine. Disgruntled employees need to be fired. FedEx doesn't appear to have cracked the home delivery market. It's still much better at delivering to an office, where human contact is found. I stayed home all day for a wine.com delivery and nobody showed up. This allows the driver to claim they have made an attempt, but nobody but the driver knows if that's true. On my delivery day, nobody buzzed my apartment number, nor phoned me, nor left notification that they had made an attempt. Even the updates on the site simply say, Loaded onto truck for delivery in the morning. This provides an easy method for drivers to cheat the system because FedEx doesn't make contact for attempted delivery, like a phone call or attempted delivery notification. The bad news for wine.com is I no longer make regular orders to them unless they plan on changing shippers.

This is the second time FedEx has done this to me, I got an notification stating my package was delivered @ 12:01 pm. Mind you my daughters were home and mom was there as well. Called and ask. Did anything to check outside. My daughters looked and nothing was outside, I asked did anyone ring the doorbell, they said no one rang the bell. I get off work. Call FedEx. Worst customer service. No one had empathy. Advised they'll have to speak with the driver.

Called today @ 12:30 pm. Spoke with the rep asking why I haven't gotten a call. Per the notes they're still waiting for the driver to respond and will get to me this afternoon. Keep in mind this has happen to me before I ordered something for a family reunion. It says the package was delivered. It was delivered to a house that almost has the same address. I live on 13th ave and 68th ter and they live on 13th ave and 68th St. Of course the first thing I did is drove to the home, ask the people who lives there did they receive a package. Of course they said no. They did not. So I'm livid with the driver and the customer service.

I recently shipped the package via FedEx from Las Vegas that required a signature. It was due to be delivered on Saturday, 11 August. The FedEx man rang the doorbell and left saying no one was home. The door was open and you could see that someone was home. My husband had literally just stepped into the bathroom. The FedEx driver was gone before he could get to the door and now we have to wait until Tuesday to get our package. When I called the number on the sheet I was told I couldn’t even pick up my package. This is unsatisfactory!

Updated on 08/14/2018: My package was supposed to be delivered on Saturday and required a signature, they left a note saying no one was home even though my husband was. This morning I got a notice saying it was delivered but it was not delivered to me. My husband called FedEx within 30 minutes of the notice and they said they would track down the driver and get the package back. It is now seven hours later and I just got off the phone with FedEx again. The driver delivered two packages today but is out of the area until tomorrow and he will try to get it back then.

If I do not get it by 16 August I must initiate a lost package claim through FedEx. This package was valued have $1000 and required a signature from my home but someone else who is given my package. It contained clothes and gifts that I purchased in Las Vegas, are they also going to pay for me to fly out to Vegas and buy these things again - I think not!!! The lady I spoke to on the phone said, "Let’s hope for the best, and thank you for using FedEx." The gall of this person, I will never use FedEx again!

My company uses FedEx to send documents and packages. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve called a customer because the FedEx website claimed that their package was delivered, only to hear “I’ve been home all day and haven’t seen a FedEx truck.” Or, the FedEx website will have the status “Undeliverable - returned to shipper” so I’ll call the customer to let them know and they’ll say, “What are you talking about? I got it hours ago.”

On a personal note, I’m writing this while I’m waiting for someone at Customer Service to answer the phone (42 minutes and counting) because my package was supposed to be delivered today, but it’s been sitting at one of their distribution centers for 24 hours and hasn’t moved. Do you remember the scene in Cast Away where Tom Hanks was washed up on the shore surrounded by undelivered FedEx boxes? I think that scene perfectly sums up this business.

I told him if there was it was left at the gate. There was a note attached to a delivery box at the gate. {We do not live in the box.} He made no attempt to drive down to our house. Ordered a PC for my daughter. She is turning 13, you all know that age. It's a pretty big deal in most homes. FedEx was supposed to deliver it on Friday, the day before her family get together/celebration. Needed a signature. So I took the day off. I watched 2 FedEx vans drive through my neighborhood, l and then a lady in a large box truck. (Talk about inefficiencies and waste...)

As the big truck left I checked my status for delivery, irritated because we all gate to wait haha, and it said "unable to deliver." Right as she left... I immediately called and was given sorry after sorry.... was told "Saturday delivery, miss work and the bday party to sign." So here it is Saturday. I waited from 7 a.m. because I didn't know their start time, until 2 p.m. when I seen the box truck pull in, same lady from the day before, gets out. She walks to the door across the street, bangs once, immediately walks away and jumps in her truck and rolls out faster than I could go out the door.

I check my updates online. Wont attempt delivery again until Tuesday. 3 days of missed work. Maybe 4 if I stay home Monday out of fear they may try to deliver them. I call. Im told sorry. Im told "let me see what I can do." They come back on to tell me they have no way of doing anything, basically... so basically I should just ** off and maybe they will come back today and if not then Monday and if not then Tuesday or January 3rd, 2057... I paid FedEx to ship my transmission. This is the biggest regret and nightmare I’ve ever had in life. Not only was it not picked up on scheduled date but it was delivered days after the scheduled drop off. Upon delivery they completely destroyed my transmission. Customer claims department then refuses to pay for it or even take responsibility!!! The problem didn’t stop there. One customer service manager by the name of NICHOL began to slander my character. "You are just like the rest of the unsatisfied customers that try to scam us now to paying for your broken item." NICHOL customer service manager at the Bristol office. Reason for not approving and owning their mistake were: 1. no claim value; 2. package was never securely protected.

So doing my own leg work I received a security video of the auto yard I bought transmission from showing my package on a pallet with plastic wrap. I never received my pallet or the plastic with my transmission. They then began to increase the lies even with video confirmation!!! Reason 2. No claimed value... Well my receipt from my local FedEx office clearly state I claimed the value. Still I was denied my refund. After weeks of fighting and calling everyday I finally got approved to find out 3 weeks more waiting for my money was still not approved by a manager!!

As it stands today my car has been sitting at a shop collecting storage fees as the mechanic had taken my car apart in expectation of a fully functioning transmission to be delivered the day of dismantling my car. So $25 dollars a day for 30 days now is 750$ (And still adding up) that I should not have to pay due to FEDEX negligence in shipping and caring for my package. By the time they finish I’ll have more debt than my car is actually worth by KBB standards.

They consistently deliver to the apartment building (a completely different address) and then leave, leaving the package as undeliverable. Today, they stopped in front of our condo, remained in the truck, and then posted the package as undeliverable. They said there was no one available to receive the package. We were standing in front of the door looking at them!!! When we called the helpline, they said... "Sorry. Maybe tomorrow or the next." Really??? We have now learned to use UPS or USPS. What does it matter if it take an extra day or two... at least we get it.

I work for the post office. Most people don't know that both UPS and FedEx use the postal service to not only initiate shipments, but to deliver many of their packages. I had to return a camera that didn't work. I used the printed shipping label provided by the maker of the camera and dropped it off at the post office where I work. It took FedEx four days to pick the package up from the post office. It then took another four days for the package to arrive in Houston, less than 200 miles from the origin. Now, three weeks later, there is still no further scans indicating the package has gone anywhere.

On to customer service: FedEx makes you jump through some hoops just to access their online "chat" with a customer service rep. And then you find out you're in the queue at number 34. Seriously? I have to wait through 34 other unhappy people before I can find out that you do not, in fact, have any clue where my package has gone? It isn't like I actually need the camera, right? The next time I have to ship something I will not be using FedEx. Ever.

Updated on 08/09/2018: After finally getting to "chat" with a FedEx customer rep I was told that since "too much time" has elapsed they cannot track the package. They took the package, scanned it into their system, lost it somewhere, and conveniently deleted the tracking information. Now I have to contact the manufacturer, who foolishly utilized FedEx for their package returns, and get them to initiate a claim.

At this point I will now have to purchase another camera at my expense if I expect to ever get to use it for the intended purpose. Waiting another six months or so for FedEx to issue any claim money isn't an option. Using any other available shipping service, including the guy down the street with his donkey, rather than FedEx is certainly an option I will take. What a ridiculously inept company.

I already knew that FedEx was useless, so if it had been my choice, I would not have shipped through them. But unfortunately, an online seller chose FedEx as their shipper. I got a tracking number. The package was marked as delivered on the front porch in the tracking system. I open the door. Nothing. I go to the garage in case they dropped it off in front of the garage. Nothing there. I go to the community mailbox (it's a gated community). Nothing there, either.

So, I complain to FedEx via email, because even before this incident their tracking system had been completely useless. I knew that the seller most likely wasn't at fault. (And no, I don't call them for 'customer service' anymore, because it's equally useless, I don't know what is on file with them, and they keep changing their words. At least with email, I have something written down.) I also contact the seller to see if he has more information on his end.

Poor seller doesn't get a proper response. He agrees to send me a new package. Only after that does FedEx respond to me with an email saying that 'after careful research,' they found that my package arrived at this and that time -- the timestamp that the faulty tracking system showed. Basically they did not read my complaint at all. It's insulting for them to regurgitate canned responses. The worst part is that all their 'customer service' responses imply that I'm some kind of lying consumer. Because yes, if they keep referring to their tracking system and repeating that the package has been delivered, it means that they just don't believe that their oh-so-perfect delivery system could ever go faulty, therefore, I must be the one lying.

This has taught me a lesson. NEVER. NEVER. NEVER deal with FedEx. Every time I purchase something online, I will contact the seller and CHECK that they aren't using FedEx. In my experience, even USPS was better than FedEx. I sent packages OVERSEAS to military personnel and USPS always managed to deliver it. With FedEx? A humongous gated community is impossible to find, apparently. Unless they found the humongous gated community but failed to read the unit numbers.

People talk of all kinds of big companies that are taking advantage of others. In my opinion, more modern big companies at least have a good customer service (i.e. the customer service representative is able to read and does read your message.) Older companies like FedEx that operate on inertia and merely exist because it has been existing for a long time, despite its lack of quality and indifference to customer service, are the companies that must really disappear. Do not use FedEx unless you have a lot of time to waste.

I had a large expensive package delivered four days early without notification. The delivery person never rang the doorbell. I am sitting in my house watching him. He just dropped the package off on the front porch for the whole neighborhood to see. I live at the end of a culdesac facing the whole neighborhood. I have a video recording of everything. This is the second time that I have a complaint against FedEx. I now live in Georgia, but when I lived in California, the driver never delivered my package. I had to go to the warehouse, to pick it up, after his shift was over. I will never use FedEx service, again and whenever I order something, in the future, I will make sure the company, I order from, doesn't either. If they do not retrain their employees, they will be out of business, soon.

I contacted the company I ordered from and they rescheduled for next day and again no time frame. This is not acceptable. I am so disappointed and angry, as there are companies that have to use FEDEX and the customer has to suffer the rules for delivery. The least that they should do is have a morning or afternoon time frame for delivery like UPS.

Just after lunch I got an email saying delivery was attempted, but no one answered the door for a signature. LIE! There was no door tag, no doorbell ring and I have a clear view of my driveway and can see and hear delivery trucks very easy. I didn't even go to the bathroom, so I wouldn't miss this delivery. I guess the driver was falling behind and decided to LIE about an attempted delivery that was not even attempted at all! I will NEVER let anyone ship to me via FedEx again. FedEx is the worst shipping company I have ever dealt with! This year they have messed up my packages 3 times. I've lost 2 of them. All of them are over $500 but they surely delivered the cheap ones! First package was picked up by FedEx then the tracking stopped at their hub somewhere and was never transported anywhere else. 2nd package was claimed to be delivered at the back door. Not true! I was home the whole day waiting for the package, I didn’t see FedEx truck coming by.

Second of all, nobody can access my back door easily. Why bother carrying heavy package walking through the sloppy yard, through the gate and steps when you can easily drop it off at the front porch? I live in rural and secluded, so I don't have close neighbors to steal anything from my property and I know them, they are good honest hard-working people and we respect one another. I called their customer service, was told to wait till the next day. The package showed up the next day at my porch. 2nd package missing was KitchenAid stand mixer professional. I received a late notification at 16:30 that the package was delivered at 14:43 to the wrong address in another town.

I called customer service right away and was told to wait 2 hours, as they opened an investigation and I was given a case ID#. They never called. 4 days and 4 calls later, still nothing. They finally told me to inform KitchenAid to file a claim. KA is sending a replacement and this time signature will be required. Let’s see if it arrives. But what a waste of time! Mine and the vendors. These drivers are incompetent and dishonest! We don't know if they've been stealing things but if they do, they need to be fired and prosecuted. Imagine to have such employees running your business. Sad. They should change their name to FedUp Courier Service.

On Thursday a FedEx driver came to my door to deliver a package for my sister. He had me sign for it and then asked in a hostile manner if he had come to our door to deliver the same package before. Since it was not for me I told him that I didn't know, and said probably. I did think it was odd that he would know what was being delivered when at the time I didn't even know what it was.

It also seemed that he was implying having issues with delivering something similar to the same address. I personally, used to have a recurring subscription order with Chewy that was delivered by FedEx but I have since had to cancel because the drivers would claim no one was home, even though we were, and I would have to go to the FedEx store and pick it up.

The next day the second part of that package was scheduled to be delivered. This time the same driver came and again was very hostile and insisted that he needed my sister's ID to deliver the package. I was surprised by this and told him I didn't have her ID because my sister was at work, his response was "then I can't give this package to you" and walked away with it. I was surprised by this because I knew that this particular package consisted of only two cell phone cases. Nothing major or expensive, it wasn't even medication or something serious, the driver was simply angry and was taking that anger out on us.

I immediately called FedEx customer service and told them about what happened. No one called me back and on Saturday I found out that the package was being returned to sender. How the driver's anger escalated so quickly I do not understood. I was never rude to him, even though he was rude to me but it seems as if he was also punishing us for having a recurring delivery. So basically I can no longer have anything delivered to my home because the driver who works our route has a problem with delivering to us especially if it's a recurring delivery. So no subscription boxes for us because he won't deliver it.

This is highly unprofessional and I don't understand how he can get away with that. I also don't think it is right for him to come across so hostile to a woman home alone. So the FedEx drivers in my neighborhood lie and say they attempt to deliver when they don’t or when they do show up they are angry if it’s a subscription box/recurring order. There are so many people out there desperate for work yet this FedEx driver is angry because he didn’t want to deliver something? How rude, unprofessional and simply crazy! Making deliveries is his job but yet he’s complaining about delivering something. How does FedEx hire these people?

Yet they are still taking money from business who are trying to deliver my packages and allow them to get all the way to their local delivery terminals and then reject the delivery because they are saying is on a security hold. Three weeks after the incident they have yet to call me about my side of the story. FedEx is knowingly accepting deliveries from companies to my address knowing that they will not get delivered. I'm fine with them not delivering to my address if they are ok with drives speeding in my driveway, but they should be not fraudulently accepting shipping to address they will not deliver to. I recommend never using FedEx ever! I placed an order 7/17 and I was told my product should arrive 7/20. I get an email 7/20 that my order was delivered at the front door at 1:23 pm. False, it was never delivered! I was home all day. I looked around my house, at each door, even looked in my flower beds and bushes! Nothing. Not to mention, I have a dog that barks when there is someone at the door. Nothing. I waited until the following day, 7/21, and called FedEx customer service. Horrible! They “opened an investigation” and gave me a case number and said someone would call back after 2 hours. Never heard from them until 7/23. I missed their call, and called them back, and got the same exact run around.

I asked to be transferred to someone else, as I could barely understand the human in the other line. This other lady stated my package was “misdelivered”, really? She said the delivery driver has 48 hours to get the missing package back and to me. She said if I don’t see it by 7/25, I need to call the company I ordered the product from. Well, sure enough. It never came. I ordered an Apple Watch from Walmart online. So I called the Walmart it came from. Was on hold for 20 minutes. I hung up and called again. Same thing. Like seriously?

I finally got through to someone the third time and they directed me to the online customer service. So I chatted online with some random person about my missing package. Ugh, they tell me that I need to file a police report with my local law enforcement and submit it to a email address that was given to me via online chat. I went and filed my police report 7/26 and sent it in immediately. They have 24 hours to reply to me and get me a replacement product. So we will see how long it takes and I hope they don’t ship it via FedEx again. The FedEx driver just decide he wanted my Apple Watch that day? I shouldn’t have to go as far as the police to get my Apple Watch. I should be able to trust that it will get here. I am very disappointed. And I am surprised FedEx is still in business after all these poor reviews. Get a grip on your business and punish your employees for poor service. That should never be acceptable.

I will no longer be using companies who ship with Fedex. Either the package arrives up to a week after the scheduled delivery date, is sent back to the shipper as undeliverable for NO REASON, or the expected delivery date is way longer than it should be. I am waiting on a package that is in a FedEx facility an hour and a half away but it isn't scheduled to be delivered for another 7 days. What? It takes a week for a package to move 90 miles?

Then there is the condition of the packages and lack of care by their delivery drivers. Several months ago, during a spring rain, their driver THREW a package with breakables and a book out into the rain, landing in a puddle in our driveway. He was literally 20 ft away from our covered porch, but he didn't want to get wet. Better my package get ruined instead apparently. Fortunately I have video surveillance and was able to get a refund for the broken items and the ruined book because it was all caught on camera.

We have since moved and our driveway is now a gravel drive with a turn around at the end. Last week I caught the delivery driver throwing a package that was too large to fit in our mailbox on the ground next to the mailbox and half in the road. He didn't realize our road is a dead end, so when he drove back by I stopped him and asked him about the carelessness of his delivery. He said he didn't drive down gravel driveways. Seriously?! FedEx made a one time exception for me although I had used insufficient packaging, and we were able to replace our items.

    Original Review: July 20, 2018

I don't normally leave reviews, but I am extremely dissatisfied with FedEx. My husband and I moved across the country, and shipped a few boxes. One box came with all of the edges ripped and damaged, and we had three large items ruined. Our panini maker was smashed in, our ice cream freezer was cracked, and our crock pot was smashed in as well. We filed a claim with FedEx, which they denied, saying we had "insufficient packaging." When we dropped the package off, we paid extra to declare the value of the box, thinking that would insure the items inside. Had they told us that the price we paid only insured our items if we had sufficient packaging, we wouldn't have paid the extra to declare the value, or we would've packaged the box differently.

We called FedEx to ask if we could at least get the money back that we paid to declare the value of the box. They said no. The only reason they have you declare a value is to basically insure FedEx against their own mistakes. They are very unwilling to work with you, and they never respond to emails or phone calls. We hope to be able to ship through a source other than FedEx from here on out. The representative told me that "next time, I should have the store check my packaging." Thank you, but that has nothing to do with this particular problem.

I need help. FedEx is claiming that I accepted and signed for a package. I did not. I have been going back and forth with them for some days now. Here is the issue: I placed an order with Comcast. I was given a FedEx tracking number. When I looked up the tracking number, it said that my package was delivered to and signed for by me. It was not. When I called FedEx to correct them, I was called a liar, and my integrity was questioned. I was first told by their representative that my package was delivered to me on the second floor. There is no access to the second floor.

The next day, I was told by their representative that they gave my package to someone claiming to be my uncle. Today, I am told by their representative that they gave it someone claiming to be my nephew. I HAVE NO RELATIVES LIVING IN MY BUILDING! And further, if you know that I did not sign for this package, why do you say that I did??? I asked them why would they not verify the person's identity before handing over my package. I was told that they are allowed to give the package to anyone who answers the door. I argued with them, saying that they have either made a mistake, or the driver kept the package for himself and marked it as delivered.

My apartment building is a collection of close knit, elderly people, none of whom would steal their neighbor's packages. I told them that if they have a signature, it is easy to compare the signatures and see that I did not sign for it. They said that they don't have to prove anything. They denied my claim, saying that the delivery was made, that I signed for it, that I am lying. Why is FedEx allowed to give a package to anyone without verification of identity? If this is their policy, then why can't they accept that mistakes can be made? FEDEX ARE THE ONES WHO ARE LYING. I NEVER SIGNED FOR ANYTHING, AND I WANT MY PACKAGE!

There are 8 units in my clearly marked apartment building. Each unit has a doorbell/buzzer which is clearly marked with unit number. Entry into building is impossible without ringing the apartment number doorbell/buzzer. Anyone wishing entry must be buzzed in by the occupant of the apartment. I was sitting in my living room at the time that my package was supposedly delivered. There is nothing wrong with my doorbell/buzzer. There is nothing wrong with my hearing. NO ONE RANG MY DOORBELL/BUZZER. If he actually made the delivery, why is the delivery person allowed to give a package to anyone without first confirming that person's identity? I just can't understand this policy - it makes no sense, and I really don't appreciate my integrity being put into question because of a mistake made by FedEx, or theft of my package by the delivery driver, which I suspect is what happened.

I did not sign for this package. I never received this package. It is not fair that they can do this and I am helpless to do anything about it. After days of trying to find answers, I have learned that this happens often with FedEx. They seem to be untouchable in these instances. I am extremely incensed and angered by this. Would you please have something done about it? Could I file a police report against the delivery driver?

In late May I purchased a $850 piece of medical equipment which was shipped via FedEx overnight. Three days later it still hadn't arrived, when I received a call from some man identifying himself as being an hour away, and who started complaining about his job and his boss. I finally got him to calm down, which is when he told me he was a FedEx driver who had my equipment on his truck for days but didn't know it, at which point he went into a lengthy rant about how everyone at FedEx but him was at fault. I told him it was medical equipment and already late, but he said there was nothing he could do.

To avoid saying something rude, I hung up and called the main FedEx number, but they also said there was nothing they could do except deliver it later. The other guy then calls me back and says he's going to drive it out to me on his motorcycle "around midnight" and I said NO. The package was delivered the next day by someone else, but the machine never really worked right, possibly after being left on a hot FedEx vehicle for days. The medical supply folks were nice enough to let me return it after it proved to be too much hassle to get it to work, so I ordered a replacement, due here today.

I received notification from FedEx saying the package had been left (no signature this time?) but it wasn't on the porch and it wasn't on any neighbor's porch either. Within 5 minutes of the alleged delivery I called FedEx and they were hilariously unhelpful. She wouldn't call the local delivery outlet (I couldn't find their number to call myself) to talk to the driver, and would only put a trace on the lost package. She suggested it may have been left in some bushes, at which point I checked my neighbor's bushes, and sure enough, the package had been left five houses down in some hedges... after a long morning of rain. Fantastic.

These are neighbors with security cameras and angry dogs, too, so I'm sure they'll love seeing footage of their neighbor rooting around in their yard. (I left a note but who knows how this will play out.) What absolutely galls me is that I occasionally get a small package sent via FedEx, makeup from someplace online or whatever, and rarely a problem. Expensive important medical equipment shipped overnight and suddenly they're all Ace Ventura. I've asked the medical supply store to consider another delivery company.

Info online is wrong. They say they attempted delivery but never really tried. Customer service not helpful. All around bad business. Avoid Them At All costs!!!! UPS has much better system, same driver every time who knows customers personally.

So I stayed home 2 days in a row as a result of inaccurate cell phone alert and late delivery.

I just finished remodeling the nursery for my unborn child, last step is to install the flooring which is to be delivered by FedEx. First I was told it would be delivered on 7/11... it didn’t come. Then tracking says it went out for delivery at 7:18 am on 7/12 and would be delivered by end of day... it’s 8:30 pm and still not here. Each time I call customer service, they can’t tell me where the driver is or what their name is. They can’t even get ahold of the driver to give me a call with an ETA. I’ve been waiting anxiously for 2 DAYS for my package and all I’m told is “it’s out for delivery.”

When it got to be about 6 pm I called and they said by 7:25 pm. At 7:20 I called again and they said the driver was behind and it would be here by 8 pm. I called again at 8:15 pm and said they put in an “investigation;” basically telling me my package isn’t going to be delivered. I don’t understand how they can tell me the driver is behind schedule yet they don’t know where he/she is nor can they contact them. Complete BS.

I called FedEx about 4 months ago with this same issue. My issue being the internet delivery date not being correct. It is hard to staff for the week when you don't get correct information. It is now 3:46 in the afternoon and my delivery date is still set for today before closing. (Meanwhile it is sitting in another state.) I have been on the phone for over an hour trying to get this issue corrected so that it doesn't happen again. I am getting nowhere. This week is a bust for me again. I hope that in the future my efforts today will make a difference for other small business. If a delivery is promised by Friday, then put the Friday date on the internet, this is the only information that we as the end customer ever sees. Why put Thursday if it is going to set more than 24 hours at one of your locations???

On Thursday, July 11th, I received an email stating my package had arrived from FedEx at 1:48 p.m. I was home and got the notice via email. The interesting thing is my dog that always barks when someone comes up to the door, and she DID NOT BARK at this time. However, when I went outside to look on my front porch, there was NO package. I proceeded to go around my home to check outdoor stairs, side garage and even went to look on my neighbor's porches. I like to respect people’s privacy and property and don’t like to bother my neighbors since they have jobs and or families at home during the summer so I just looked on porches. Then I proceed to go online to the FEDEX live chat and had to deal with two representatives who said, “They would put a trace on the package” and wait for a rep to call back later before 5:30 p.m.

I got a call from FedEx around 5:30 p.m. stating “They would trace the driver and to track steps of delivery of my package”. At approximately 8:35 p.m. my package mysteriously is left on my doorstep with an email from FedEx stating it was left. (I knew this because my dog barked and then I checked my emails to confirm the time of 8:35 p.m.) My MAIN problem with FedEx is twofold: 1). FedEx sent me an email at 1:48 p.m. on July 11th, stating my package had ARRIVED and it DID NOT PHYSICALLY ARRIVE on my front porch, as stating in FedEx email. 2). I had to WASTE my valuable time by physically going down my street to check other neighbors' porches and time I took to deal with the QUERY of waiting and LIVE CHATTING with FEDEX reps to track down a package that wasn’t even delivered as originally stated.

Lesson learned: FedEx may send emails stating a package is delivered, but in ACTUALITY may not be on the front porch at the time designated and if you are working outside the home and DON’T have time to follow up, you may lose your packages. Some driver at FedEx is not paying attention to detail in delivering their packages a customer is promised at a specific time.

I worked from home and I'm in process of returning (heavy) equipment back to company, ex-supervisor told me FedEx guy would carry the box with them when they delivered the labels. I got home and got FedEx slip saying I missed them & the labels were at the grocery store down the street. I didn't mind taking the equipment back to the store. Just wanted to know so I could ask a friend. Anywho, I let supervisor know and she says they could re-deliver labels & pick up equipment & to call them. So I call them. First guy I had to tell the situation not one, not two, wait for it...3 whole times. I literally explained everything to him and he kept saying "the packages are at the location" to which I replied, "YES I know they are at the store, that's not what I'm asking." It got to the point where I even told him exactly what I was shipping and for who and why. Eventually, I just tell him to transfer me to someone else. He does and I wait for that for a good ten minutes.

Woman named "Jenny" answers, tell her specifically, per the slip, (I'm thinking since I must've said something wrong to the first guy) I am calling to "request another delivery attempt." & what I get is "I can get them to re-deliver tomorrow but may not be able to, and the package is at the Randall's down the street" and when I tell her part of my question, yet again, she proceeds to say "the labels they delivered today are not heavy ma'am." Oh and just for good measure, I ask Jenny if she could tell me the guys' name I was just speaking with, in a very condescending tone, she goes on a lengthy spiel about confidentiality, when all she could have said was "I'm sorry I cannot give you his information." I'm pretty irritated by now so told her, "Thanks for not helping" and hung up. This is to the 1800GOFEDEX number. I will never do business with FedEx again. Ever.

I called yesterday, and through their automated system, was told the package was on the way to the post office serving my area. The package left a FedEx facility at 6:08 am on 7/6 and this facility is only 2.5 hours from where I live. It should have reached that post office that same day.

There have been no updates since then and when trying to track the package all it says is no delivery date is available and it's pending. I emailed customer support yesterday and again today, but no one has cared to respond to either one. I finally tried the live chat feature on their website and the person I chatted with said she put a trace on it and I'd hear back in 3 days. All I want to know is where the hell is my damn package? Personally, I think it's lost and I'm never going to see it. FedEx customer service is horrendous and if I know a company is using them to ship, from now on, I'll take my business elsewhere.

I call FedEx they "realize" they don't actually ship in the city I requested but 200kms away and that my contact could always go there to pick it up. Seriously? If I ship my package it is so that it arrives at destination not 200 kms away otherwise I would not have shipped it. Genius!

I get transferred to the manager (after being told that to retrieve my package would cost me a fee???). He agrees to refund me, and I am advise at the branch it would take 1-2 weeks for the cheque to be mailed. Fast forward 2 weeks nothing in the mail, I call FedEx and the lady says they don't even have my address, she proceeds to write it down and now it will takes 2-3 weeks. Basically I will wait 1 months for a refund of a service that they were never able to provide anyways. Very very very disappointing, I wish I had gone to DHL they were actually cheaper but stupid me decided to go to fedex NEVER AGAIN!!! They're lying and manipulating the data on the site to make it look as though it's the consumer's fault for their problems, and that is just unprofessional, dishonest, and immoral.

I work from home and I also have a doorbell camera not to mention I live on a small street with no outlet. I filed a claim with Sak's and told them FedEx was never on my street that day as my office window is next to front door and too, the time they said purse was delivered, I was in front yard at that time which was around 6:30pm. I received a refund from Saks but really wanted the purse so I thought I would order once again and this time I requested a signature delivery that way there wouldn't be any complications, right? Wrong!

My package was delivered at 9:33 am on the day they said it would be delivered, today July 5th. I did not sign for it nor did anyone ring doorbell. I found the package on front porch around 12:30 pm when I went to get mail. The packaging was also terrible and it made me wonder if this was the original package that was never delivered a month ago. When I cut open the top of the box, there was my receipt which should have been inside box - this is strange. Purse is in good condition but I went online to see what FedEx had to say about delivering my purse without my signature and it showed the delivery was signed by homeowner - what a lie!

I never signed for anything - if I had why would package be outside for an additional three hours! I honestly believe the delivery person is the same one that lied about delivering my purse a month ago and did not want me to see the guilty look on their face. I called FedEx and got nowhere - I believe the person I was speaking with was in India. It says online they have signature on file - if this person signed my name wouldn't that be forgery? This use to be a good company but it has hired all the wrong people. All other deliveries I receive are from UPS and I never have any problems with them.

Not just once or twice but 3 times in a row. Calling them is a waste of time as they will claim no knowledge of anything. I now ask every merchant what shipper they use and if it is FedEx and they for any reason cannot use another company I will cancel the order and find another merchant that can use UPS or USPS. (How sad is it that the USPS outperforms your company?)

The ones that have had to replace the stolen goods have told me that this is becoming more and more common with FedEx. Take my advice and demand another shipper or not as you please, some people enjoy substandard performance I have no time for it. Even the replacement orders were done the same way which shows it has become standard practice and FedEx does not care to act differently. They cannot deny the photos.

We placed an order for two bathroom sink faucets from Lowe's. We followed the tracking on it closely since we arranged for a plumber to do the install for them. When it said that it was out for delivery, I listened all morning and afternoon, but the doorbell never rang. Imagine our surprise to see that according to the tracking, it had been DELIVERED, yet there was no package anywhere! In calling FedEx, I was shocked to find out that they were unwilling to contact the driver to find out where he actually took our package and go back and get it.

I have filed an investigation with FedEx, but it will be another few days for the results. If they had acted on this when I called (which was still during business hours), they could have contacted the driver immediately and had him locate where he took the package, since he could easily tell where he went before and after he said he was here-- the time was noted in the tracking. I would highly recommend not ever using FedEx, but instead use UPS or USPS. There is far more accountability with your packages at those two other places.

My package from New York City was scheduled to be delivered to Boston by FedEx overnight on Friday June 29, 2018 by 10:30 AM (it is just one hour of flight between NYC and Boston). It did not arrive on Friday. It ended up in Memphis TN instead, their hub. Contacted customer support twice. None of them was able to provide me with the new delivery date/time. I subscribed for text and email updates. No tracking updates were received, even though the package was slowly moving to Londonderry NH. Finally received a status update message after contacting customer support for the third time. Poor service. Two wasted days of waiting... and still waiting... by 10:30 AM again. Will see.

I wrote the following to Fred Smith, founder and CEO. The company you created has gone to hell. It now embraces a culture of liars. Three times in the month of June, your tracking system reported that packages were delivered to me. Three times the packages were not delivered. Three times I had to contact your company. Two times, the supposedly delivered packages were delivered 4 days later. I am waiting for the alleged delivery of June 26 to get delivered. The delivery address on all packages is **. You can look up my address in your system and get the 3 tracking numbers. Correct? Once you investigate and get lied to from the people within your company, I request that the people - the driver or administration person who is now involved in deliveries to my home be removed from my deliveries. These people are not trustworthy and they lie. You should of course fire them, but that is your business.

Years ago when I was a student at the Harvard Business school, you were a hero. I recall the great case about a great company with a great leader. I am sorry that people have taken your company to **. Clearly, it is not the people who actually do the work at fault, it is the people receiving inflated salaries and stock options who do not do their jobs. By the way, while writing this email, I have been on hold at your call center for about 20 minutes - the call center which is there to help people like me. Clearly, this amount of hold time tells me that you could not give a ** about me. The vendors who employed FedEx to ship to me are receiving a copy of this.

I ordered some health items that my 89 year old blind grandmother needed and were out of locally. She lives on a hill with three houses. The numbers are clearly on her house with delivery instructions below. One of the other houses has no numbers and the third one has different numbers or none also. UPS and USPS have no problem delivering to her. FedEx left note that they had left at front door. Not there. Had to have someone check since she is blind. Called FedEx and was put through the system and was told that the driver had 24-48 hours to respond and then I may need to contact company I ordered from originally. Well my grandmother needed the items so I called the company, Walmart, in the meantime and they sent a replacement package.

I never heard back from FedEx but the first package showed up. Then a few days later I get a delivered notification from FedEx for second package. I don’t know where they delivered it, but not to my grandmother. So again I have to call FedEx to have them track the package down. I have had the same issues getting deliveries from them to my house in a different part of the country. What I don’t understand is if you are a delivery driver aren’t you trained to look for house numbers? I could understand if they weren’t marked, but they are clearly marked. Sounds like a lazy uncaring driver to me.

The drivers for this company (unlike USPS, UPS, UHaul, and contract drivers for both Ikea and Home Depot) seem incapable of finding our address and have twice now delivered our packages to the wrong location. Unlike other drivers they do not bother to call us to verify our address when they are at loss and in one instance they left a package in the middle of a thunderstorm after wrongly delivering it to one of our neighbors. That package and its contents were destroyed by water damage. Our address is readily found using Google Maps and it is clearly printed on the front of the house. Customer service on the other hand has been excellent.

When I contacted them today about this repeat problem, they said that this is company policy. No other delivery company has ever done something this stupid. Then I got an update. Said that my boxes have been separated to two shipment, one will arrive on Jun 15th, the others arrive on Jun 18th. That's not a problem to me, I can accept late delivery.

The thing is when I got my packages on 15th, my boxes were totally broken! My monitor is dead, and the driver said my boxes were just like this at the beginning, but it's not! I have picture to proof. He also even didn't help me to move my stuff upstairs, he just left my broken boxes beside the elevator and said "good luck" to me. What a "GREAT" service!!!

I had pretty bad experience on shipping FedEx when I moved from U.S. to Canada last year, they broke my PC last time, all my boxes were in bad shape when I received. I called so many times to complain but nobody even care, they always says the special agent will contact me but I never receive anything until now. This time I was planning to ship my stuff through UPS, but when I was trying to create a shipment on ups.com, it always said cannot create shipment at this time. I was thought maybe I should give FedEx another try. (Which is a stupid idea!) Also at this shipment, I was charged $390, twice!!! I have no freaking idea why! It's not the price I got when I create the shipment, I called customer service and they can't even give me a reasonable excuse!!! Nobody can accept this price on such a terrible service.

No phone calls, no notes on the door-nothing. Day 2 - I change the address via FedEx online system to the FedEx pick up store/Walgreens store - N Lamar - Austin, TX. They confirmed the change and again "the customer not available or business is closed" which is impossible because it's a public store...

Day 3 - I started long and difficult conversation with the customer service, which was useless because one of representative was very old woman which speaks incomprehensibly and the second guy had a strong Indian accent, which was a little bit better. They promise me that the parcel will be at the Pflugerville, TX which is the starting point for delivery. Day 4 I went to Pflugerville early in the morning and spend few hours there. The result was a phone number of the contractor who didn't pick-up his phone during the day. Also I understand that the address has no changes/no matter my online changes or the customer support. All they could do was say: "sorry your boxes got lost."

My boxes were CUT OPEN, STOLEN FROM, taped back up and delivered from My personal location A to my second personal location B EMPTY or nearly EMPTY. How does a delivery person drop off a box that is CLEARLY labeled "30 LBS" and "28 LBS" and the weight is practically nothing at delivery??? My CANCER MEDICATION and other valuable personal items were stolen. I am continually appalled by this company and this THEFT was the LAST STRAW.

I WILL NEVER USE FEDEX AGAIN. This was only the most recent thing that happened to me, after giving this absurd company multiple chances to redeem the quality of their service. Last summer, they lost... LOST a 100 LB Air Conditioner that was Expedited shipping for medical purposes. Also, last fall, they delivered an exercise bike I ordered online TO ANOTHER ADDRESS, when it was CLEARLY marked with my address and needed a signature upon delivery. They left it in an empty office with no one around.

MULTIPLE TIMES, FedEx would send me text or email claiming my packages were delivered, but they were NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. OR -- they would claim "Undeliverable" because no one was home or "business closed" when they were delivering TO MY HOME and when I was sitting by the door waiting for certain products. Every time I send him a package I get a delivery exception. The first four were because no one buzzed him into the building. Let me tell you why that is a lie; he has an electronic door lock which allows him to open the door, when buzzed, anywhere he has phone service. Not only can he open the door from anywhere he has service, but he can see who is at the door and speak with them. Therefore, the FedEx delivery person was lying, he lied five times.

Today, he didn't deliver because he said there was no apartment number on the door, my son's name is clearly on the entrance to the door, his name was on the box, and I had written, in black marker, the name, address and apartment number on the box. I do this because they lost the shipping label, which isn't a label. It is just a bag which is stuck on the box. When I called to complain, they hung up on me because I pressed them to answer whether or not their drivers could read.

Hiring drivers who are illiterate would be a problem, I never did get an answer. This driver works for FedEx and even though I have complained every, single time, he still drives for the company. I am sick and tired of them and will be switching to another delivery company in the future. Do not ship with FedEx. Their drivers are the laziest bunch of people I have ever come into contact with and it seems management won't do a thing about it. It didn't and I got an email that it may not be delivered until the following Mon and if I still didn't have it by Wed to call them. That was not going to work being that I was going to be away during that time and the package would sit by itself on my front porch for a whole week!

I called and got in touch with a person from the warehouse it was sitting at. He told me it might be delivered the next morning but if it wasn't I could go pick it up. He even said he put a note in the system with my order that said urgent. Gave me the address and hours. Which they close at 4 pm. I told him I couldn't get there by that time. There was no reason for them not to bring it the next day especially since it was due to be delivered the day before. It was just sitting in the warehouse. What in the world would cause them to have to deliver it 3 or 5 days later knowing it's already past due. Needless to say it did not show up Sat so I rearranged my schedule so I could get there before they close because that was my last shot of getting it or it would sit on my front porch for a whole week by itself.

This is where the story gets bad. I go there, give the woman the tracking number and she turns to go get it. A minute later she comes back and says she can't release it to me!!! I told her I talked to someone the day prior and they assured me that they might deliver it by Sat morning if not I could just go pick it up and get it. She said... "We'll see. He said 'maybe' so it was never definite." I said, "No, he said 'maybe' about it being delivered but I could definitely pick it up!" She goes in the back then comes back and says "He's going to go try to find it." I'm waiting, and waiting, and waiting.

Finally I said "Ma'am, do you know if he'll be back soon because I have to be somewhere?" She said... "Ahem... did you see him come back in here? Because I haven't so obviously he's not here yet." That's when I lost all sense of reality, and let her have It! I said it was due yesterday! It was supposed to be ready and waiting for me if it wasn't delivered today! The guy told me he even put in the system URGENT! She said, "Well I don't know anything about that so that's not my problem and if you keep yelling at me I'm going to call the police and have you leave." I laughed after she said that. A very sarcastic laugh. I didn't want to have to jump over the counter and hurt the poor excuse of a human so I went out to my car and waited. Finally a guy comes back with it. Like USPS, FedEx provides an expected delivery date when their services are used. Individuals generally like to know this date in order to make arrangements to be home in order to avoid theft of the item or tampering with the item. Some items delivered can be quite expensive, heat sensitive, fragile, etc. It makes sense to have someone home on the delivery date in order to avoid damaging these items.

In the past several years there has only been a handful of times I have had problems with USPS, Amazon or UPS in regard to getting the item delivered on the expected date. FedEx is the only company that has almost always been later than the estimated date. Sometimes the item is literally just sitting a few miles away from me for several days past the estimated delivery date. Personally, I will never use their service if I don't have to. I generally don't like to frustrate my customers. This is the kind of thing that makes customers more likely to return the item over slight inconveniences. I know sometimes it's cheaper, but only slightly cheaper. Sometimes it's worth paying a little more for a more reliable service.

Really!!!! And they keep sending this bill that was supposed to be "taken care of" to collections. Almost a year in and still not a drop of help.

At 5:45 Was not sent out for delivery the next day, when called and questioned it was still being held. “You’re welcome to come collect it” was the response, again. An hour away, this call took place at 9:30 and because screw me the centre closes at 10 am today. I’m so glad I’ve had to postpone my cross country move because FedEx just doesn’t send out a package meant to be delivered. I’ve almost always used USPS, but Jegs has some deal with FedEx. Guess I’m never buying anything through Jegs and I’m certainly avoiding Fedex, think I’ll drive to Texas myself and collect my order next time.

FedEx is the worst company to do business with. First their manager can’t figure out how to refund your money. He tells you that you have to ship something because of his ineptitude. Then the package is supposed to be delivered on a Saturday but doesn’t show up until Monday afternoon. FedEx claims that Seattle had snow that March 20th. The only problem with that is there wasn’t a flake of snow anywhere near Seattle that weekend. Just another lie to cover their butt. When I get back home in New York I call FedEx and explain what happened. The person I talked to seemed very reasonable and listened to the whole story. She was very apologetic and said I would receive a refund in about 5 weeks. I should have known that that was another lie as that is the FedEx way.

Sometime later after not receiving a refund I called back to the FedEx office and was given the royal runaround. She basically told me too much time had passed and they have decided that even though their incompetence was the problem, that I wasn’t getting anything back. By the way the package they delivered was no bigger than a regular manila envelope and weighed very little. FedEx overcharged for this a total of $59 and then can’t even deliver on time. This is one terrible company who thinks they have a monopoly on the delivery service so they can overcharge, under-service, and treat their customers like crap.

So I knew from a long time ago from past experience not to use FedEx, the worst delivery service. You might as well go drive to pick up whatever you ordered if for some reason someone uses FedEx. Well Walmart still uses FedEx, me not knowing ordered 2 tires. But anyways it was coming from California, it took FedEx 4 days to get it 200 miles. Couldn't believe it, so I contacted Walmart and asked them if 200 miles in 4 days was acceptable. They tell me FedEx still has 3 more days to deliver it. I'm like wow, at that rate I will not see my tires for a month. Do not for any reason use them, can't believe they are still in business.

So, I have been having a continuing and repeated problem with FedEx for about two years. They simply can't reliably deliver packages to me and they will not call/email me about the delays- all despite my repeated attempts to get this resolved. This all started about two years ago when I received about three weeks' worth of "delivery exceptions" saying FedEx could not get a set of jack stands to my house (weather related, supposedly- but I was in and out of our roads for all of that three weeks). These issues all came to a head this week. Here's why: FedEx delivered a package to me on June 5, one of very few we actually received on time and with no issues. The order was from a company in California, I live in PA. On Saturday, June 9 (yes, four days later), I checked the FedEx tracking page for an update on a second package I ordered from the same company. The tracking page originally told me the order would be here Friday.

Now, the tracking page was telling me that there was a delivery exception...because FedEx couldn't find my house on Saturday (yes, four days after delivering the first order here). I called FedEx and then the company I ordered from. The company then called FedEx and put us all in a three way call. While on the phone listening to all of FedEx's excuses about why they repeatedly can't get my items here, I decided I am done dealing with them and I cancelled the order with the company. I requested a refund. The company gladly accepted my refund request (remember, I never got the order because FedEx couldn't find my house despite being here four days earlier). I thought that after two years of these issues, I was finally free of the FedEx problems. But, then...I had one more order coming from California, from a different company altogether. It was supposed to be here today (Tuesday, June 12).

After it didn't get here, I checked the FedEx tracking page (remember, they never call or communicate with me, despite my repeated requests for them to do so). And, of course, there is a delivery exception. This time, they said the business was closed/no one home. My wife was here all day, including at 5:03 pm when FedEx supposedly pulled in to deliver my package. They never came. I've had it with FedEx. I called their 1-800-GoFedEx number and demanded to speak with the highest ranking person they could find. I filed a long and irate complaint with that person. He told me he forwarded that complaint to the Assistant Manager and the Regional Business Manager at the Muncy, PA facility where my orders get routed to. I am now awaiting a call from one or both of those two people so I can, yet again, lodge a long and irate complaint (that undoubtedly will go nowhere).

I have also already started asking companies I order from if they ship solely with FedEx. When I am told this is the only company they ship with, I tell them of my experiences with FedEx and then inform them I am taking my business elsewhere. If enough of us do that, FedEx will have no choice but to fix all the problems they have with getting us orders, or they will go the route of all the once-monstrous-but-now-defunct businesses who couldn't read the writing on the packages (think Rexall, Circuit City, Toys R Us, Woolworth, etc. here). Go FedEx? Not me.

I have the printout showing it's supposed to be delivered today. EVERYTIME FedEx has delivered to me, I get told it's going to be on one date, and it comes the next. Or if it was supposed to be delivered on a Friday, I won't get it till a Monday. I paid for an overnight once and it was sent on a Monday, I got it on Friday!!!

This package contains a part for my truck and is important. Now I'm being jerked around again. Last 4 deliveries were for 1,000$ printers and they did the same thing. One was scheduled for a Monday, I finally received on Wednesday. Another was scheduled for Friday, I received Monday. Another one I paid for a Saturday delivery, and I finally received it on Wednesday. Their agents are rude, and I used to work for UPS, we never played this game. I then pay $15 (premium) price for fast shipping to get it on the exact day I need it. Needless to say, FedEx did NOT deliver it on the delivery date that I paid for. The FedEx delivery guy dropped the wrong package off at my door on the day of scheduled delivery. I ended up getting someone else’s package that wasn't even close to my address. I then had to spend nearly an hour calling around to different numbers and pressing different buttons on the prompts to finally get a human to talk to.

FedEx really tries to refrain from allowing you to speak to a human at almost all costs, but I finally was successful. I told the lady my issue, and after 15 minutes of being on hold, I got routed to a guy at my local FedEx distribution center. He told me he would watch for the package, and ensure that it got put into a fridge to ensure it didn't go bad. They wouldn't put in extra effort to get it delivered that day when it was supposed to be and when I needed it.

Needless to say, I got my food package the next day, and it was RUINED. The box was soaked, the food was warm and spoiled, and the box was beaten up and smashed. It honestly looks like it was smashed intentionally. $150 worth of food WASTED. I wrote an in depth claim report to FedEx, along with images. They sent me a letter in the mail stating that there is nothing they can do, and that they are not responsible for it. Worst shipping company I've ever dealt with in my life. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Thursday, May 31, 2018 12:04 AM OCALA, FL Arrived at FedEx location.

Well as there's one more date that's the 30th the day FedEx picked up my backpack. The seller trying to save money and I guess realising she did not charge me enough shipping sent the backpack FedEx SmartPost... Huge mistake... HUGE. FedEx SmartPost picks up the package then at some point gives it to USPS to deliver... dumb. My backpack never left Florida and is moving all over the place there. Its destination is Los Angeles where I am. So for ten days (tomorrow is ten) it's been in Florida with FedEx.

I went to the eBay community boards and began to read. Has anyone else had shipping problems with SmartPost? Has other packages been lost or delayed? Come to find out A LOT. And everytime in tracking history the tracking shows the package to go to Jacksonville, Florida if you have a package in Florida either going into or leaving from SmartPost once it's been lost or delayed sends a message to you through tracking information that your package is in Jacksonville. If your package goes to Jacksonville I guess that basically means it's lost. Here is another almost exact same story of a poor sob like me who dealt with SmartPost. Only this story is from the perspective of a seller. Please read The eBay Community Help Guidelines. (So upset, shipped via USPS FEDEX SMARTPOST, delivery delayed.) This above is name of the post you look up on eBay community boards. Monkeyhub Thrill-Seeker.

If they say it's in Jacksonville it is lost. Well stay away from FedEx at all costs. I'm having to open a case against a woman who really is not at fault to get back well over a hundred dollars and my backpack won't make it in time for my trip. It looks like the delivery date is missed by a long shot, by Wednesday next week if I do not get my package I'll go after recouping my money. All because someone wanted to save money using FedEx SmartPost and not pay a little more and ship priority mail USPS. Bye.

I had already started traveling out to get the trailer (having sent the check ahead of me), but when it arrived late, the seller called off the deal. I was working in a tight time frame and I was depending on FedEx delivering on time. When that didn't happen, I had to turn around and go back home. I paid for fuel, meals, and lodging for 3 days only to have to turn around and pay for the return journey without the travel trailer I was trying to buy. I then wondered if the driver had gone to the wrong address and left the note there? So I rang FedEx to try and get an answer only to be told the office was shut and I was talking to the caretaker and to ring back in the morning. However, I received the same worded email next morning so had to wait in all day again for delivery which did eventually come with no apology!!! I waited home all day sitting in my front window and waited for the delivery. FedEx never came down the street, let alone stopped at my home. The best results I have gotten before is to call and ask to speak with a FedEx Customer Advocate, they can usually get some action.

Today my package sits for 3 days with an in-transit status to the same station with different date and time stamps. I called and asked about it. They say the HOME delivery is open and delivers Tues-Sat. That is also a crock. The freight drivers (also contract) work from the same office and they also make home deliveries. So more LIARS. I guess FedEx has gotten way too big for their britches and need to be boycotted until something is done to correct the horrendous performance problems. They need a new VENDOR for their deliveries, because the one they use now are LIARS. If someone works for me and lies, they are fired.

I'd like to begin by saying that I usually don't write reviews, but what happened with FexEx is certainly worth sharing. I package was shipped to me using FedEx home delivery. I own a business and never has any problems with either Ground and Express deliveries, but home delivery has always been a problem. Here is what happens: A driver would claim that he/she attempted to deliver a package and the business was closed. This would happen three times and the package would be shipped back.

What's interesting here is that the business is a retail store that's open every day for 10 hours and it located in a strip mall on a state highway. The business has a big sign and a neon open sign. On the last occurrence of this I have called FedEx a total of 9 times and beyond promises that the package will be delivered (it wasn't) - nothing has happened. Supervisors have horrendous accents and are otherwise incapable of helping in solving any issue. Any request for call back results in no call.

Got a notice that my package was delivered to my door. It wasn't. Drove around to all my neighbors and they didn't get it either. Called FedEx customer service and told them I went to my neighbors before calling. Then they asked me if I checked with my neighbors. It's like they aren't even listening. Told me they would call me back within two hours, they didn't. Last time they delivered to a neighbor with the same number but different street name. After a week of not hearing back from customer service I called again and the person finally told me where the box had been delivered to. They refused to pick it up and bring it to me, I had to go and get it myself. This is the worst company on the planet and I will no longer do business with anyone who does business with FedEx. They need to be investigated.

By the time you open the door you see the truck leaving. And the next delivery attempt see the same thing repeating. Unless you sit all day long on your porch you will get your package. UPS are much better as far as delivery and customer support.

When I called and asked if there is any way I could pay to upgrade the service or have it delivered early there was absolutely nothing they could help me with "once it ships we cant touch it". "The World On Time"... not. Not worth it, next time I'll go with UPS or good old USPS, even they ship faster and at least know where my package is and can hold it at a location for pick up. Incredibly disappointed, luckily the vendor will re-ship me the gifts overnight and accept a return of the late ones from FedEx.

I called as soon as I got the email that said it was delivered to the door to tell them it was not delivered. They said they would send the driver to go back to where they left the package, he also never came to the house. FedEx says I have no claim. They consider my package delivered (to where who knows). I am now out $300 US and FedEx is now sending me bills for import fees for $120 for a parcel I never received. The parcel I received before the lost one was left at the end of the driveway in the snow, my email for that also said it was delivered to the door.

I strongly recommend that my small business peers do not use Fedex. According to my warehouse staff in New York a package was picked up by Fedex in January 2018. The package never showed up on their tracking site so I contacted them for an explanation. They advised me that they would trace the package and never contacted me again. I found out that they questioned the driver and reviewed their tracking system and since the driver denied the pickup and it did not show up on their tracking system that they were not going to reimburse me for my loss. They never contacted my warehouse staff who witnessed the pickup and after many months of promising me that they would review the case again I still had to constantly call back and never heard from their tracing dept. As a result I must absorb the loss entirely which is very difficult for a small business. Please use UPS or any other courier service!

So I sold an antique cash register on eBay. I built my own wooden shipping crate for it, as I've done several times in the past with no issues at all. Filled the crate with foam and bubble wrap and shipped it out. Package arrived with the register destroyed and MISSING PIECES. So they obviously had the box open at some point (probably after dropping it) and didn't even bother to repack all the damaged items before nailing it back shut. I paid extra for "insurance" which obviously means nothing, since they denied paying anything and blamed it on my packaging. So I guess the thousands of dollars I've spent on them over the years for my business means jack crap. No worries though. I'll never be using them again for a single thing. I don't care if I have to pay double to use UPS or USPS. We are done...

Finally, after hours on the phone, I found out that security has the package but with no explanation as to why. A week later, still no package but they have “assured” me has been released and will be assigned a new tracking number and delivered, but no ETA. All the while, it is still marked as delivered to me! I have no recourse to even get my money back because to the shop I purchased from and my credit card company it appears that I received the merchandise. I called and they told me that the package has been blocked by FedEx security in France, Paris Airport. I was just surprised because I don't see the reason why they could block phones in a package. I ask the agent I was on the phone with and she said they don't have much info, because security department does not communicate with them about anything and it's impossible to get in contact with them either.

I kept calling and one day they told me that security is requesting proof of purchase from me. I submitted that right away through email (paperwork@fedex.com), but still nothing from them. I can't count my calls I've made and nothing. The last one was that the agent said they could not do anything to help me. Sometimes I just think they don't care because they can't hear my accent and said that "this guy is not from here, so we can just play him until he gets tired of calling and forget". What I don't get is why are they holding on the phones. Nothing illegal in that package, and they don't disclose the reason why they blocked it, as if there was something harmful in it. I just want my package back and it's not happening, my refund back and it's not happening. I'm just so mad at that company. Every time I see one of their trucks in circulation or anything that has their name on it, I'm just very angry.

After sitting at home all day I watched a FedEx driver leave after attempting to deliver a package to my house. It had already been delayed and I had paid for rushed delivery. I had left instructions (I wrote a note asking to ring my doorbell) or leave parcel. Nothing attempted by the driver. Ran after him and after I noticed a door tag he left saying it could not be delivered. He just kept driving - I watched him drive past my house!!! My daughter was in tears.

Called FedEx and pleaded for over an hour an a half on the phone (yes pleaded that we needed the parcel and was leaving this evening for vacation.) Offered to pick it up. Drive to truck, have it routed to local office. None of these options possible. They really could do nothing but basically they did not really care. I was horrified by the whole experience. So... Waiting another day. Window is wait all day again for my express package delivery!!! Asked when it would be delivered. They have no idea other than by 8 pm the next day. I will never use FedEx or go into one of their stores again. My family really hates FedEx.

I ordered an item from an online store in California. Expected delivery was 5-7 days. I received updates from FedEx tracking saying my package was to be delivered Friday, May 18. I took off work and waited all day, looking out the window, checking for updates. Around 4:30ish I checked again and it said that the driver tried to deliver but no one was home. There was no sticker or notice in the mailbox saying they tried and not one ding on the doorbell.

Incredibly upset, I called customer service and they literally laughed at me. I can’t afford to take off work again and the following day was my son's birthday. They said the earliest they could try again was Tuesday. Again I work and can’t take off another day because their driver was irresponsible and obviously a liar. They then told me well you can pick it up. That is not the point of delivery or what I paid for. They then said sorry but we will have to send it back. That is ridiculous that because their driver was irresponsible and couldn’t do his or her job correctly, I will not receive my package and the company had to reimburse me. Two parties lose out.

I will never use FedEx again because this is not the first problem I have had with them. The first was them saying it was left on the porch but actually come to find out that the driver was stealing packages and saying he delivered them. I also believe that their customer service reps should be retrained as they are rude and just plain unfriendly. I was given a refund by the company in both situations. This most recent one stated in an email that they will be discussing this ongoing issue with their team. I would not have left any stars but it was required. This was on a personal level. At work this happens with them as well and that’s for a business... which is not good for business. Big thumbs down for FedEx.

The package has yet to make it to me, using the tracking number it says "Pending" on delivery and that it never left a distribution site in Kernersville NC that was to go to Raleigh NC. I called FedEx and they looked into it and said that appeared to be lost, I would need to file a claim.

Said I need to go back to the seller and recoup my money from them... (They did not lose it... FedEx lost it).

Updated on 07/02/2018: I email FedEx about an issue I had over two months when headquarters contacted the local terminal here's what happen. Thank you so much for the call this morning, I did receive a call for the local terminal. The person stated that the driver or driver is a contracted driver and the reason I am having issue is that I spoke to the driver badly. I stated that I never at anytime personally ever met or talked with the driver. His reply was, "Well that's the reason you're having delivery issue. They're upset with you..." Let me state this. I am a Christian. I have no reason to lie. I never ever spoke to any FedEx driver other than the one whom I gave a tipped an older driver.

Instead of the supervisor assuring me that all would be well. He left the issue open before getting off the phone that the driver is upset and he was upset that I call his headquarter. I had no other venue but post on social media. It's not my problem that the driver is a contractor. If he's working for FedEx he should represent FedEx in a professional way if he's getting paid. The supervisor is not being professions by acting mean spirit with me for calling for help. Again the reason for me not getting proper service is a lie. I never ever has one word with that driver. If I had that would have been an issue for me to call customer service.

Every call or case I filed was about wrong address deliver and dropping my package at the leasing. I feel because I have call customer service so much the local terminal allow this problem to keep happen... Which is very unprofessional, everything keep leading back to the consumer. I would have hoped he had called to say, "I understand you had issues. As a FedEx employer we will get it taken care of..." But again he leave me feeling that something is totally wrong with FedEx consumer service starting at it top. This post will be copy and posted on other media.

Updated on 06/20/2018: Again no help from FedEx customer service... The driver of my route has delivered my package to the wrong address more than 10 time in 2 months. When they corrected it he drop my shipment at our leasing office. When told that I am here each day at home he laugh leave it there and walk off... ** my order shipment was wrote up as business is closed even while I'm at the address that's wrote on the shipment. This guy is so lazy that he prefer to leave it at leasing office since my apartment is on the 3rd floor while I am paying shipment cost of over 36.00 dollar. I have called no this issue over 16 times filing cases... no one ever call back to talk with me on this issue. They accuse me that someone else brought it in the house. No. I'm the only one who could bring it in. My husband is disabled and can't. They said they'd put a trace on it.

Called them back on Saturday. Asking if they found the box yet. A woman named Karen said yes it was found. I'll get it Monday. Never did. Call back on Monday. The same Karen answers the phone. She says she'd connect me to the tracing dept. A woman Tina talks to me. Says my box is lost. They do not expect to find it. I'm not getting anything. I said tracking said delivered. If it was not. Then don't label it as delivered. Lucky me. Amazon refunded me the whole purchase amount.

So the eBay seller first of all lied that said my package was going to be shipped with USPS first class and ended up instead shipping it with FedEx SmartPost that's quite a bit of difference in service. At first it was supposed to be at my house on May 9th then it changed to May 14 (today) that it was supposed to be here in IL. It's back in California. So I contacted FedEx support and they told me it was to be delivered by May 14th again today when it's in CA instead of IL where I live. They are less than zero help. Completely worthless.

My daughter paid extra money to have a perishable Mother’s Day gift delivered yesterday. They tried to deliver it before my store even opens. Left a note saying they will try again later, didn’t. Called them and I got a person whose English was so bad that I barely understood a word he said. Had to call back. Then they said they would call me back when they tracked it down, didn’t. Then today, they delivered it to the wrong address. I called and they said they would find it and call me back, they didn’t. I had to call several different stores in the area and track it down myself. My husband went and picked it up. Happy Mother’s Day to me! Your customer service is abysmal at best. We will never use FedEx again. Thanks for nothing.

Why does FedEx asks you to pay insurance and then when they fail at delivering your package, refuse to reimburse you!!! Their driver left my package on the steps of an apartment bldg where there was an office. I am livid with these people. I filed a claim & they are telling me that since I did not require a signature, the driver could leave it on the steps. What kind of company or people do something like this??? Is there no common sense or courtesy required?

FedEx seems to be hiring drug addicts to deliver for them! Also, their CSRs are big liars as well!!! I ordered a package from Wayfair with notifications of tracking and delivery yet I NEVER RECEIVED MY PACKAGE EVEN THOUGH I RECEIVED NOTIFICATIONS IT WAS TO BE DELIVERED THAT DAY! No knock on the door and no notice was left on the door that day, Friday, May 11, 2018. My husband and I were home in a small apartment all day waiting. On Saturday, May 12, 2018, we were leaving the apartment at 11:50am when a piece of paper fell out of our door. A Door note from FedEx. We were home and no one knocked on our door. There was no music playing and no loud tv! In fact we were in the living room area rearranging the room right by the front door therefore we know for a fact he never knocked on our door!

I called. Spoke to a Manager. Request for same day redeliver. Gave them my number to call me back! NO call back! I must have called at least six times being told my package would be redelivered the same day by the end of the day which is 8:00 pm. Needless to say! IT NEVER HAPPENED!!! I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH ANY COMPANY WHO USES FEDEX! AMAZON FOR ME!!! I wasted two days waiting on them dealing with nothing but LIES!!!

I get an alert saying attempt to deliver was unsuccessful because no one was home at 1:01 pm, I was outside gardening all day waiting 4 package, FEDEX NEVER CAME BY, if they charge to deliver shouldn't they at least try to do so? I just think the drivers often don't want to bother so they write if off as no one was home or business closed. In this case I think FedEx driver has very poor business skills... and is lazy!

Yesterday for the second time in a year, the FedEx driver went past my house that is properly marked with the address on the mailbox and left my package at another residence down the road. When I call to complain, they suggest I go around to neighbors and see if anyone else has it. UPS and USPS never have a problem reading the address on the package and matching it with the address on the mailbox. I cannot imagine why they would just leave packages at other locations. I have decided that if the vendor can only ship FedEx, I will shop elsewhere!

I had a box shipped from a state to another being delivered earlier than I wanted. I called FedEx many times and had many live chats to make sure it would be delivered 4 days later. Even though they assured me that it would be delivered the day I wanted to they screwed it up and delivered on the day I asked them NOT to. I don't get how hard it is to contact other FedEx locations. I am always shipping with them for my company, but from now on I am switching to UPS which is way more reliable. I was able to talk to UPS truck driver. I just don't get how UPS can do it and FedEx can't. Thumbs down for FedEx.

I was supposed to receive a package today, but they never attempted delivery. This is happening with everyone in my area in N.E. PA. I'm thinking I ought to contact the attorney general. This is criminal. I've had problems with them in the past with the same situation. I'm telling the other companies to use another shipping company because this is the worst shipping company on the planet. They do not deliver packages. They hold them for days, even WEEKS. Very unacceptable. I have already contacted the Better Business Bureau.

They deliver packages to businesses or I guess me about 3:30 p.m. During Christmas & throughout the year constantly deliver to the wrong address then you call customer service & they say they'll return your call. No call or apology constant mistakes. Worst shipping company out there.

I do not recommend FedEx for anything. In fact I will not order or deal with people who use FedEx for shipping NO more. How hard is it to get your tracking dates right?? At the last minute tracking adds yet another day. My package left Kansas 7 days ago to come to me in PA?? 7 days?!! Now it will be 8 days if that don’t change. UPS and USPS would have done it in 3 days or less. Stay away from these idiots. Don’t bother calling them also because you will get nowhere and can’t understand the idiot on the other end of line. Screw you FedEx. So unreliable.

I ordered a dresser for my son and daughter in-law's baby shower. It was to be delivered May 3 to their home. It never arrived. This morning (Fri May 4) I look at the tracking information and the dresser isn't even in California anymore! It's now in New Mexico with no updated information. FedEx doesn't have a phone number to call. Everything is done "virtually". Someone is supposed to call me back within 2 hours. This isn't acceptable. I watched that package get within an hour of its destination then stop updating and now it's in another state. I'm very unhappy.

I had ordered a scope from Opticplanet.com with 2 day shipping. It was supposed to be delivered on May 2nd 2018. I came home to a door tag with a option to sign it. It was ok to leave the package if no one was home on the 3rd. It turned out that I was able to stay at home. No one from FedEx showed up. I checked the tracking number and the driver said he was at my house at 12:35. I called FedEx and was told the driver would deliver the package later on in the day. I waited at home all day just to have no one from FedEx show up all day. Once again I check the tracking number and it shows that they gave it to the post office and said it was their SmartPost and it didn't offer 2 day shipping. My time was wasted. I definitely didn't get what I paid for and have been lied to by these people. I had other things I needed to get done today, but didn't because I was waiting on them. There was no phone call or email to let me know that they gave it to the post office.

Only two times in two years have I been on the receiving end of important deliveries from FedEx, ones that were paid extra for either by the shipper or myself. And both of those times the delivery was horrible, unacceptable. Yesterday, I was expecting an important set of finance documents from an attorney's office, for which I was assigned to do the closing at noon, leaving me at least an hour to travel to the west side from the upper east side of Manhattan in New York.

The package was paid for and marked "FEDEX PRIORITY OVERNIGHT.," deliver BY 10:30. It was put on a truck at 8:31 AM. I waited for the package and waited and waited until 11:00 AM before calling into the FedEx customer service who promised me a call back within two hours. Really? Meanwhile, I had to call the client to reschedule the appointment at a time inconvenient for both of us, promising an update when the package was delivered to me. So at 12:16 I receive a call from my doorman and was advised that the delivery person had arrived.

I asked for him to sign for me. I was told that the delivery man insisted that I go down to the lobby to sign, even though the package was marked "Indirect Signature Required." Really? I asked that the driver deliver to my apartment and was told he would not do that. Really? So I went downstairs to sign for the nearly two-hour late package of documents. I asked the driver why he was so late and he told me that he was instructed to deliver by 12:30 PM. Really? I asked why he could not take the elevator to my apartment (a one-minute ride) and was advised that he had other "packages to deliver." Really? I reported this to the customer service at FedEx which I gather is nothing more than a Public Relations employee. Yes Really.

I called about my parcel not arriving and was told I would receive a call back within 2 hrs. Was confirmed (by FedEx and merchant) in email that it was delivered to front door. My son was working around the outside of the house at the time and found my parcel sitting next to a side door we do not use. I can get past this because hey, at least it arrived. However... instead of a call back from FedEx, I received driver knocking on the door that we do not use. When I answered she said, "I dropped a package here yesterday, what’s the problem" and continued to mutter something I couldn’t quite make out!?

She was on her phone trying to talk to both me and her call. I told her we received it and thanked her. She then rolled her eyes and asked why I called and said I did get it? I thanked her again and explained she left it at a door we do not use and had just found it. The FedEx driver then stated, “Your front door doesn’t look like you use it, so that’s why I left it there. Oh, but don’t you worry-I’ll remember you next time!” Really? Why not put that in the notes instead of reporting to all parties that it was left by the front door (Our front door patio is fully furnished, shoes on the welcome mat, and a watering can should show it’s used everyday). I don’t feel I should have to deal with a driver's nasty attitude when the drop location wasn’t correctly identified. I receive around 7 packages a week and they have always left them in the front. One bad experience is making me rethink my shipping solutions.

Some of those drivers are SO LAZY and inconsiderate. I am a 64 year old woman. Thank God I was home and went to check immediately prior to the package being stolen!!!

I remember when Fed Ex used to exceed expectations. Lately, it's missed delivery dates, packages sitting in locations for over 24 hours, and a general appearance of not really caring. I understand volume has something to do with it, but when it takes 4 days for a package to travel from Ocala ,FL to Lakeland, FL (about 85 miles) I'm ready to say they truly suck. They used to care when they were trying to be the biggest. Now that they are, they don't seem to.
