FedEx is a company I will never use again, my parcel they say was delivered to my front door was never delivered to my house at all. I was home all day and no one came to my house. I called as soon as I got the email that said it was delivered to the door to tell them it was not delivered. They said they would send the driver to go back to where they left the package, he also never came to the house. FedEx says I have no claim. They consider my package delivered (to where who knows). I am now out $300 US and FedEx is now sending me bills for import fees for $120 for a parcel I never received. The parcel I received before the lost one was left at the end of the driveway in the snow, my email for that also said it was delivered to the door.

I strongly recommend that my small business peers do not use Fedex. According to my warehouse staff in New York a package was picked up by Fedex in January 2018. The package never showed up on their tracking site so I contacted them for an explanation. They advised me that they would trace the package and never contacted me again. I found out that they questioned the driver and reviewed their tracking system and since the driver denied the pickup and it did not show up on their tracking system that they were not going to reimburse me for my loss. They never contacted my warehouse staff who witnessed the pickup and after many months of promising me that they would review the case again I still had to constantly call back and never heard from their tracing dept. As a result I must absorb the loss entirely which is very difficult for a small business. Please use UPS or any other courier service!

I ordered an item through online shopping, and they deliver that item through FedEx. It arrived at New Castle, DE, which is my local FedEx Center at last Saturday morning and it supposed to deliver on last Saturday morning. It is Tuesday now, and my package is delayed for four days!!! I wish there is a minus point that I can give.

So I sold an antique cash register on eBay. I built my own wooden shipping crate for it, as I've done several times in the past with no issues at all. Filled the crate with foam and bubble wrap and shipped it out. Package arrived with the register destroyed and MISSING PIECES. So they obviously had the box open at some point (probably after dropping it) and didn't even bother to repack all the damaged items before nailing it back shut. I paid extra for "insurance" which obviously means nothing, since they denied paying anything and blamed it on my packaging. So I guess the thousands of dollars I've spent on them over the years for my business means jack crap. No worries though. I'll never be using them again for a single thing. I don't care if I have to pay double to use UPS or USPS. We are done...

I purchased several items last week and paid for FedEx priority express shipping. The items were scheduled to be delivered on Tuesday 5/22. Items were marked as delivered to me, at my address. No package was delivered. When I filed a case with FedEx, they told several different versions of where the package was and why it was not delivered. Finally, after hours on the phone, I found out that security has the package but with no explanation as to why. A week later, still no package but they have “assured” me has been released and will be assigned a new tracking number and delivered, but no ETA. All the while, it is still marked as delivered to me! I have no recourse to even get my money back because to the shop I purchased from and my credit card company it appears that I received the merchandise. I thought FedEx was the gold standard of delivery, but not true. I have been using them for 7 years with my business, but never again.

Not home when delivery attempted. Tried to call/email/contact multiple times throughout the remainder of that day to arrange for the quickest delivery. I was willing to pick up wherever it was. This was at mid-day. I was told it would be 5 days to arrange re-delivery. Seriously? This is horrible. The package was here somewhere and I offered to pick it up. I was told "processing" would take a few day. You've got to be kidding me. I will NEVER use this service again and absolutely recommend to use a different delivery service to everyone out there.

I shipped a package containing 3 smartphones plus accessories through FedEx to Togo in West Africa, and it's been over a year and the package has never reached its destination. I still have the receipt (it's too old that it's fading away) and my tracking number ** which does not show anything anymore. I called and they told me that the package has been blocked by FedEx security in France, Paris Airport. I was just surprised because I don't see the reason why they could block phones in a package. I ask the agent I was on the phone with and she said they don't have much info, because security department does not communicate with them about anything and it's impossible to get in contact with them either.

I kept calling and one day they told me that security is requesting proof of purchase from me. I submitted that right away through email (paperwork@fedex.com), but still nothing from them. I can't count my calls I've made and nothing. The last one was that the agent said they could not do anything to help me. Sometimes I just think they don't care because they can't hear my accent and said that "this guy is not from here, so we can just play him until he gets tired of calling and forget". What I don't get is why are they holding on the phones. Nothing illegal in that package, and they don't disclose the reason why they blocked it, as if there was something harmful in it. I just want my package back and it's not happening, my refund back and it's not happening. I'm just so mad at that company. Every time I see one of their trucks in circulation or anything that has their name on it, I'm just very angry.

This delivery just cost me $1000 as I had to change flight reservations and push a another day to leave for vacation. After sitting at home all day I watched a FedEx driver leave after attempting to deliver a package to my house. It had already been delayed and I had paid for rushed delivery. I had left instructions (I wrote a note asking to ring my doorbell) or leave parcel. Nothing attempted by the driver. Ran after him and after I noticed a door tag he left saying it could not be delivered. He just kept driving - I watched him drive past my house!!! My daughter was in tears.

Called FedEx and pleaded for over an hour an a half on the phone (yes pleaded that we needed the parcel and was leaving this evening for vacation.) Offered to pick it up. Drive to truck, have it routed to local office. None of these options possible. They really could do nothing but basically they did not really care. I was horrified by the whole experience. So... Waiting another day. Window is wait all day again for my express package delivery!!! Asked when it would be delivered. They have no idea other than by 8 pm the next day. I will never use FedEx or go into one of their stores again. My family really hates FedEx.

I had ordered a ice machine from Fla. to be delivered to my home. FedEx said it would be here Tuesday the 22nd 2018. Then I checked the routing number and it said Wednesday the 23 2018. So I was waiting for it and then my wife checked the routing number and it said Thursday 24th 2018 for delivery. I was so upset with them. I called and talked to 3 different people and even the corporate office. They said so stupid person failed to load it on a FedEx truck to be delivered to another FedEx warehouse, so I would have received it today on the 23rd 2018 so I hate people's excuses and the word, "I'm so sorry for the mix up." They could have hot shotted it to me if they wanted. I have gone to a lot of expense to have it installed in my home. I had wiring ran and all the hookups done. Had a person scheduled to install it today. I so wish they would fire that idiot and write up the general manager. They are a sorry delivery co.

I ordered an item from an online store in California. Expected delivery was 5-7 days. I received updates from FedEx tracking saying my package was to be delivered Friday, May 18. I took off work and waited all day, looking out the window, checking for updates. Around 4:30ish I checked again and it said that the driver tried to deliver but no one was home. There was no sticker or notice in the mailbox saying they tried and not one ding on the doorbell.

Incredibly upset, I called customer service and they literally laughed at me. I can’t afford to take off work again and the following day was my son's birthday. They said the earliest they could try again was Tuesday. Again I work and can’t take off another day because their driver was irresponsible and obviously a liar. They then told me well you can pick it up. That is not the point of delivery or what I paid for. They then said sorry but we will have to send it back. That is ridiculous that because their driver was irresponsible and couldn’t do his or her job correctly, I will not receive my package and the company had to reimburse me. Two parties lose out.

I will never use FedEx again because this is not the first problem I have had with them. The first was them saying it was left on the porch but actually come to find out that the driver was stealing packages and saying he delivered them. I also believe that their customer service reps should be retrained as they are rude and just plain unfriendly. I was given a refund by the company in both situations. This most recent one stated in an email that they will be discussing this ongoing issue with their team. I would not have left any stars but it was required. This was on a personal level. At work this happens with them as well and that’s for a business... which is not good for business. Big thumbs down for FedEx.

I needed my packages for my business at the latest by 9 am Tuesday. What time does the driver show up on Tuesday? 2:30. Yes. And here is the best part. There is a sign at the end of my driveway that says that all packages must be delivered to the front door. So I pulled up as a driver was unloading all of my packages onto THE STREET and confronted him. I told him he needed to put the packages on a dolly and deliver them to my front door. He refused and said they were too heavy. THAT IS YOUR JOB!!! Lazy, ignorant driver!

This time around, the company I purchased from used FedEx to ship with. Before I purchased said item the delivery date was certain and specific. The supplier promptly provided me tracking once FedEx received my package. FedEx sat on my package for 2 days before they decided to ship it off, even sending email notification that my package shipped which was not the case. Now my package will be days late. I even paid the shipping on this item!!! NEVER AGAIN will I buy from any supplier or private seller using FedEx to ship for them.

I ordered a part and paid the shipping cost for FedEx to deliver, the part was shipped from the supplier and they sent me a FedEx tracking number. I entered the tracking number the next day and saw the package was to be delivered on Friday, May 11th. The package has yet to make it to me, using the tracking number it says "Pending" on delivery and that it never left a distribution site in Kernersville NC that was to go to Raleigh NC. I called FedEx and they looked into it and said that appeared to be lost, I would need to file a claim.

Which I have, I received a letter from FedEx today, denying my claim and that it had been delivered, tracking # and Claim # on the document, so I looked up the tracking number in FedEx and sure enough still in Kernersville NC and Pending delivery. I called them and they transferred me to claims and said the letter was mailed out by mistake. "Right" (Standard denial letter folks). They told me they will not pay the claim even though they lost the package and cannot find it. The cost of the package is only $37, that is with the shipping. Said I need to go back to the seller and recoup my money from them... (They did not lose it... FedEx lost it).

Folks they steal from you when they can and this is some organization that will steal from you. In the meantime I had to order another part to replace the one they lost and have received it, came quicker than what FedEx could deliver, standard shipping and cost no more, just delivered in a Big Brown Van... Go UPS. I will be calling the shipper tomorrow to see about reimbursement because they have to file the claim against FedEx. I will not be using these guys again, cannot handle paying 37*2=$74 for a microswitch.

I am very disappointed in the service of FedEx! I bought a playpen for my grandson on Monday May 14 and delivery was set for Friday May 18 as it is. I was upset because it was a wait of 5 days but didn’t say anything waited patiently. On Friday I had my phone on me all day waiting for the phone call that they were on their way to deliver my package! In the morning I track my package and it said to be deliver before the day was over. At around 1 pm I track my package again and it said was not delivered because nobody answered phone. I did the customer support online and someone answered me not to worry my package would be delivered before the day was over. At around 7 pm I called customer service and they told me there was a problem with the address so I told her my daughter's address again and they assured me that it would be delivered on Saturday May 19.

Saturday came along and no delivery and when I track the package it said unable to deliver because could not find address, that it would be delivered on Tuesday May 22. Omg I was so upset I called customer service and ask to speak to supervisor and I told him the person making the delivery was very irresponsible for not calling either Friday or Saturday, and just putting in the system that could not find address, and not call to get directions and he input in the system at 4:13 could not find address and at 4:15 he put in system arrived to homestead office! The supervisor told me that they would try to deliver on Monday but don’t believe them. Next time I place an ordered any company I will make sure that FedEx is not going to deliver! Super irresponsible! Now Walmart in the other hand was super understanding of how upset I was that gave a 10 refund for my time! I will never use FedEx again.

My husband and I ordered very expensive items from a company that uses FedEx to ship. FedEx showed the package made it to the local facility (which is right down the road) at 1:35 am, then made it to the vehicle for delivery at 2:57 am, and would arrive at my residence by 8 pm the next day, which is today (5/18/2018). I received an email at 4:01 pm today that stated our delivery schedule was updated and that our package wouldn't arrive till Monday 5/21/2018. I was in such disbelief, because my husband took off work today to wait for this package.

Right after receiving that update email earlier, I decided to put in a request for them to send the package to a local FedEx Office. Hopefully they will take it there and I'll be able to pick it up tomorrow morning. I have a feeling that the FedEx driver just didn't want to handle a 87 lb package that's going to an apartment building and decided to not deliver it. We'll never use this company by choice and definitely will make sure we order from companies that don't ship with them, because we don't want to go through this headache again.

Then why the FedEx emails “in transit”. The company confirmed they did indeed ship it. But the tracking number shows en route. How do they not know what the hell is going on? As it turns out, I have to take another half day off tomorrow. FedEx Customer Service is a joke. Have called them over 15th time over a mix-up of all of my online orders going to a building across from my building. I have paid over $70.00 for my delivery only to have to pay someone else to pick-up my order and deliver it to me. The smaller package I have went and picked them up often seeming as if I am stealing my own package at someone else building with my name and address but driver mark out my 6585 and add 6565 because it's the first thing he sees not bothering to look right over to the next side to see big as day 6585. Shouldn't be an issue. You would think call the local manager at the terminal... But No more than 10 time FedEx agent couldn't reach their own people.

1st time said they were changing shifts call back... Next they were all on the dock. Next say someone would call me back, next couldn't reach manager. Next day same mess. Finally a week later got a letter from FedEx Correspondent Barbara **... Stating "your frustration is evident. Will notifies manager." Still same issue. Called. Asked to please talk with this Barbara person. Said she's on the phone now. Will call me back as soon as she get off the phone. Waited all day. No call. Called again. Agent listen, put me on hold, the phone hung-up... Wait another day to put on hold 3 times only to say can't reach the manager. Would I like the address of the shipping terminal to go by and find this person? Got a letter stating the claim I file was closed.

Upon completing investigation must decline my claim. "Our record indicate properly delivered." Well tell that ** to the people who door you still keep dropping my shipment... That will sign on a stack of paper they had to move boxes away from their building door over 6 different times to get in their place. Meanwhile I am not going to pay any other store to send my order by FedEx. Worst business in shipping. These people do this for a living but can't get in touch with a bad driver... UPS delivers to my place, USPS gets it there. FedEx sorry example of a business sending me to your manager because you can't find him. This Barbara ** maybe an answering automation. I never heard from her...

Updated on 07/02/2018: I email FedEx about an issue I had over two months when headquarters contacted the local terminal here's what happen. Thank you so much for the call this morning, I did receive a call for the local terminal. The person stated that the driver or driver is a contracted driver and the reason I am having issue is that I spoke to the driver badly. I stated that I never at anytime personally ever met or talked with the driver. His reply was, "Well that's the reason you're having delivery issue. They're upset with you..." Let me state this. I am a Christian. I have no reason to lie. I never ever spoke to any FedEx driver other than the one whom I gave a tipped an older driver.

Instead of the supervisor assuring me that all would be well. He left the issue open before getting off the phone that the driver is upset and he was upset that I call his headquarter. I had no other venue but post on social media. It's not my problem that the driver is a contractor. If he's working for FedEx he should represent FedEx in a professional way if he's getting paid. The supervisor is not being professions by acting mean spirit with me for calling for help. Again the reason for me not getting proper service is a lie. I never ever has one word with that driver. If I had that would have been an issue for me to call customer service.

Every call or case I filed was about wrong address deliver and dropping my package at the leasing. I feel because I have call customer service so much the local terminal allow this problem to keep happen... Which is very unprofessional, everything keep leading back to the consumer. I would have hoped he had called to say, "I understand you had issues. As a FedEx employer we will get it taken care of..." But again he leave me feeling that something is totally wrong with FedEx consumer service starting at it top. This post will be copy and posted on other media.

Updated on 06/20/2018: Again no help from FedEx customer service... The driver of my route has delivered my package to the wrong address more than 10 time in 2 months. When they corrected it he drop my shipment at our leasing office. When told that I am here each day at home he laugh leave it there and walk off... ** my order shipment was wrote up as business is closed even while I'm at the address that's wrote on the shipment. This guy is so lazy that he prefer to leave it at leasing office since my apartment is on the 3rd floor while I am paying shipment cost of over 36.00 dollar. I have called no this issue over 16 times filing cases... no one ever call back to talk with me on this issue. Once I got a call and the agent stated he wasn't calling on my issue but that he work in trace dept. This company is ran by no one that would take charge of issues.

Their driver left my package on the steps of an apartment bldg where there was an office. I am livid with these people. I filed a claim & they are telling me that since I did not require a signature, the driver could leave it on the steps. What kind of company or people do something like this??? No knock on the door and no notice was left on the door that day, Friday, May 11, 2018. My husband and I were home in a small apartment all day waiting. On Saturday, May 12, 2018, we were leaving the apartment at 11:50am when a piece of paper fell out of our door. A Door note from FedEx. We were home and no one knocked on our door. There was no music playing and no loud tv! In fact we were in the living room area rearranging the room right by the front door therefore we know for a fact he never knocked on our door!

I called. Spoke to a Manager. Request for same day redeliver. Gave them my number to call me back! NO call back! I must have called at least six times being told my package would be redelivered the same day by the end of the day which is 8:00 pm. Needless to say! IT NEVER HAPPENED!!! Only two times in two years have I been on the receiving end of important deliveries from FedEx, ones that were paid extra for either by the shipper or myself. And both of those times the delivery was horrible, unacceptable. Yesterday, I was expecting an important set of finance documents from an attorney's office, for which I was assigned to do the closing at noon, leaving me at least an hour to travel to the west side from the upper east side of Manhattan in New York.

The package was paid for and marked "FEDEX PRIORITY OVERNIGHT.," deliver BY 10:30. It was put on a truck at 8:31 AM. I waited for the package and waited and waited until 11:00 AM before calling into the FedEx customer service who promised me a call back within two hours. Really? Meanwhile, I had to call the client to reschedule the appointment at a time inconvenient for both of us, promising an update when the package was delivered to me. So at 12:16 I receive a call from my doorman and was advised that the delivery person had arrived.

I asked for him to sign for me. I was told that the delivery man insisted that I go down to the lobby to sign, even though the package was marked "Indirect Signature Required." Really? I asked that the driver deliver to my apartment and was told he would not do that. Really? So I went downstairs to sign for the nearly two-hour late package of documents. I asked the driver why he was so late and he told me that he was instructed to deliver by 12:30 PM. Really? I asked why he could not take the elevator to my apartment (a one-minute ride) and was advised that he had other "packages to deliver." Really? I reported this to the customer service at FedEx which I gather is nothing more than a Public Relations employee. Yes Really.

However... instead of a call back from FedEx, I received driver knocking on the door that we do not use. When I answered she said, "I dropped a package here yesterday, what’s the problem" and continued to mutter something I couldn’t quite make out!?

She was on her phone trying to talk to both me and her call. I told her we received it and thanked her. She then rolled her eyes and asked why I called and said I did get it? I thanked her again and explained she left it at a door we do not use and had just found it. The FedEx driver then stated, “Your front door doesn’t look like you use it, so that’s why I left it there. Oh, but don’t you worry-I’ll remember you next time!” Really? Why not put that in the notes instead of reporting to all parties that it was left by the front door (Our front door patio is fully furnished, shoes on the welcome mat, and a watering can should show it’s used everyday). I don’t feel I should have to deal with a driver's nasty attitude when the drop location wasn’t correctly identified. I receive around 7 packages a week and they have always left them in the front. On February 22, 2018 I returned a lens to a photo company. After not having a refund in a couple of days, I called the company to learn that the package had not been received. I pulled out my tracking number from FedEx and quickly learned that it was not being tracked. The number was not in the system. I called FedEx and reported what was going on and I was told that a claim would be filed. About a week later I called FedEx again to get the status of the claim, and after speaking with another CSR I now only learned that the claim had not been filed, there was no record of my call in the first place. From this point on, it was downhill. I called the authorized drop-off facility to learn that they do not keep records of what is picked up by FedEx or the other that pick up at their facility. Unfortunately, I did not get a receipt or I lost it. I had dropped off other packages, so I had receipts related to those packages.

I made about 10 or 11 more calls to FedEx and each time I would have to repeat the story over and over again, because there was absolutely zero documentation of any of the calls. I became extremely frustrated, so I wrote a very strong letter to the CEO of FedEx and to an assistant at the Corporate Office in Tennessee. I received a call that very day and of course had to go over the information again. She related she would check on it, which was what others whom I had spoken with said they would do. One particular person said that they would get with the local FedEx facility to see which employee worked that particular time and facility, and even when as far as saying they would look at security footage. The representative from the Corporate Office promised to call me back after her investigation. She did not, so I called her after about two weeks.

She was unable to speak with me at the time, (so convenient), but I later got a voice mail indicating that her search did not find my package and that there was not anything they could do. In the process of this incident, I did learn that some workers pick up packages, take them to the truck and scan them instead of actually scanning them while they are in the facility. So, if you do not get a receipt, there is nothing you can do about a lost package. My concern is the fact that it was not scanned when picked up from the authorized FedEx facility, but even more concerning is that when you call FedEx, they do not even bother to document the call.

Also during the course of this incident, I learned just minutes before I decided to send a letter to the CEO via email that I had to file a claim online. This I tried to do, but you cannot even file a claim if the tracking number is not in the system... at this point you have to print out the claim form and mail it in. Losing a package is one thing, FedEx doesn't even document conversations unless you have a claim filed. On March 10, I was given a case number, but keep in mind this is not a clailm, although you are lead to believe it is and something is being done on your "case". Why even give someone a "case number" if nothing is really being done.

So, of course, if at all possible I will not use FedEx, not because the package was lost, but because of the lack of concern related to the loss. Customer service was terrible. If I am forced to use FedEx, because I received a shipping label for returns from a company that uses FedEx, I will definitely make sure that I get a receipt and make a copy of it, as well. I hope I never have to use FedEx again, though.

I just got off a call with a FedEx representative regarding a ground pickup. I have called FedEx seven times in the last two week - six of these calls were in the last week. The purpose of my call was to have a package picked up at my home and returned to a merchant. No one came for the first scheduled pickup for April 13th so I rescheduled for April 21st. However, the merchant scheduled a pickup for the 23rd so I contacted FedEx so they wouldn’t send two trucks out. I was informed that the Saturday pickup was canceled and they would arrive on Monday the 23rd. A truck came on Saturday who couldn’t pick up the package because it wasn’t ready then one person came on Monday to pick up a 120 lb box. I called FedEx back and they scheduled another pickup for April 24th because they said the pickup scheduled for April 23rd was in the system as an Express pickup but should have been scheduled as a Ground.

By the way, the FedEx customer services rep was the one who determined how it was to be listed, not me! Today, April 24th around 6:50 pm I am waiting on the truck to pull up and decide to call to confirm the pickup - you know be proactive so I won’t waste my time again. The automated service stated that there was a pick scheduled for 7:14 pm. I gave the customer services rep the confirmation number and tracking number. She informs me that they can’t pick it up because my confirmation number is wrong. I tell her that there is a possibility that I am using the wrong number because I had so many of them but there should be a truck coming either way… long story short – this person either does not understand English or thought it would be nice to push my buttons. She kept repeating that the confirmation number I gave her was wrong so we needed to reschedule.

BUT the tracking number was right and it was listed that I had a pickup scheduled. Then, told me I was acting unprofessional because I cursed at her. Forty-minutes after hanging up with the customer services rep and after the pickup time according to the automated service, I call back to confirm because now I’m worried. The new customer rep states that there is nothing showing. There is no pickup scheduled!!! She states that it was canceled and that she can help by rescheduling it. At this point I believe the other lady canceled it just to be a *insert explicit word here*. I ask to speak to a supervisor who informs me that I cannot make a complaint about the first rep that I spoke with today because they don’t know who I spoke with. Then goes on to ask me if it’s a ground or express pickup. WTF!

I feel like I am in the twilight zone. Has FedEx forgot what customer service is? Customer Service is everything in today’s society and can easily ruin a business. This entire thing has costed me money and time that I can’t get back. This is not the first time I’ve had issues with FedEx however, it will be my last. Not only will I never use FedEx, I will never again order from a place that uses FedEx. Though FedEx may not care about little ol’ me, big companies don’t want people avoiding them due to their afflictions with incompetent companies.

I have a basic question for FedEx. Why do they not automatically credit customers account when they fail to deliver the package on time. Everything is computerized and should be very easy to accomplish a automatic credit but they are making me wait for the package to be delivered, going on four days which should have been overnight, then spend additional time calling customer support again. If there is no weather problems and it is just the lack of FedEx fulfilling the agreement automatic credit should be applied for the actual time it took to get delivered. Think about it folks. FedEx is hoping you do not spend time trying to get credit so they can get paid for a breach of contract. NEEDS TO CHANGE!

This was a very important package sent by Integrity Rx pharmacy using FEDEX. We stayed at home waiting for the package. One of the most important packages of our lives with medication that was sent with special mail overnight. This was for having a baby and it is Saturday night and package not delivered. Why? Because it is an apartment in a gated community and the person needs to press the apartment number and ring the bell. It chose not to do that but instead left a notice on the door.

Now with a package that is overnight to do that and medication that needs to refrigerated that is out of my understanding to act like that. Beware. They do not care about anything!!! Called the customer service and it was like what the heck. "We can ask the pharmacy reimburse you" after telling them that this was medication. It was supposed to be delivered to have a baby. My wife needed one more day of medication. This people have been delivered before and they know that if they ring the bell somebody will open the gate. Disgusting and terrible, terrible people and service. So if there is a gate they will not deliver. That on a package for which the customer pays almost $20 for delivery.

I was out of the country and my neighbor said she saw the package at my door and then it was gone. Now today my sister is home waiting for my package to come, I get a text message and email that my package has been delivered and of course that’s a lie. Not only is the package not there but when FedEx called me back about the package they said the GPS shows that the driver didn’t even go into my neighborhood as yet for today but he scanned it as delivered. What wrong with that picture? Looks like a bunch of thieves driving FedEx trucks. Over a $100 spent on a package. I still don’t have that got delivered supposedly to me.

Our purchase of over $2000 was never delivered. Thankfully, the company we ordered from offered to resent for free if the original package didn’t show up in 2 weeks and as long as we would sign for it. We were more than happy to sign for the package and my husband asked for the package to be delivered to his work as he knew he would be there all day. It was instead sent to our house, and as there was no one there to sign for it, the package could not be delivered. My husband called FedEx and arranged for the package to be sent to a drop location where he would pick it up the next day.

When he went to the location, the box was not there and he was told it was on route to our house again and there was nothing we could do to change the location it would go to. So, I cleared my schedule to sit at home. The estimated time of delivery came and went, I called and was assured it would be there sometime in the next 8 hours. I stayed at home, by the door waiting. Then, I got a call saying they couldn’t deliver the package because no one was home? I called that minute and was told they couldn’t have the driver come back.

There was nothing they could do for 24-48 hrs. We would have to pay to have them drop it off again as we failed to be home on two occasions(!) They are going to send the package to the locked facility again (hopefully) where we should be able to pick it up in the next couple of days. I cannot tell you how much time this has taken, how many lost hours of work, how many lost hours of sleep (we are trying to start a business and this package contains the brass pieces that would enable us to complete a big order, finally putting us in the green after 3 years.

Without it, we won’t be able to complete the order on time and could lose the order, setting us back tens of thousands of dollars). No one at FedEx cares. It seems there is nothing they can do. Which I think is wrong. A business SHOULD care about its customers and try to accommodate our needs. They are too big. I will be avoiding them in the future and will be recommending everyone else with a pulse and a brain do the same. UPS and USPS seem to do a (much) better job in my experience. However, I honestly might even stop ordering online. Not worth it.

Later, I discovered by tracking the package that it was at a ground facility and could be picked up there. FedEx sent me an update that said no one was home when they tried to deliver about 5 pm. I called FedEx and they said changing delivery to the store required 24 - 48 hours to go into effect. Why did they allow me to request this change, if they couldn't change the delivery location with the driver who had the package. I cannot tell you how many claims I have filed a claim for broken computer monitors that are so carefully packaged, you would think a nuclear bomb would not be able to damage them. However, I've now had three monitors broken by FedEx as they must drop the boxes from 5 story height above the ground with no consideration to the contents. EVERY SINGLE TIME I've filed a claim with them, there is always SOME loophole that they find to not pay me for their damage. It's incredible. Not once has a filed claim been paid out by them. Quite honestly, I'm wondering if they pay claims at all?

Another incident when I had a trade show in Texas, only my lid to my 3.5 foot tall case was delivered to the hotel. Yup, you heard that right. A 110 pound case which was apparent on the shipping label and all that was delivered was the lid. After 30 phone calls to FedEx and having absolutely nothing for my trade show for two days, I left TX empty handed. The case was found in Florida several weeks later all while FedEx had already once denied my claim for completely losing $1500 worth of items. I fully expect had the case not been found, they would not be paying for it either. The claims customer department is rude and could care less about damage or loss to your property. After 3 years of spending thousands of dollars with this company, it's time to check out UPS. I don't expect it to go much better there but ANYTHING has to be better than dealing with FedEx. I call then to explain to them that there was not FedEx office nearby. I work during those hours so we needed so whether they needed to call us to know the time of delivery so we can leave work early and be home or schedule delivery at the time we are home. The person who I spoke on the phone explained that FedEx never calls, and they don't schedule deliveries. They attempt twice then return the package. At that point I ask to speak with the manager.

The manager gave me the same version however pretended making accommodations and made a schedule for delivering the package at a specific day and time frame. Despite to this, the delivery guy still showed up on a day and hours I told the manager we are all at work. And was leaving the final notice before returning the package to the sender. Lucky enough, my wife works for a high school and her day was short and able to intercept the delivery guy and retrieve the package which did contained my daughter’s Lenovo laptop that was send for repair by SquareTrade.

Mistake #1, the package has been lost "held in customs" which means a worker stole it for the value. FedEx has had a trace since January on the package. It was here, it was there and now in customs again. They closed the case and a payment will be issued, no payment for a month, I call back, "Oh, the case is open again, we have a trace out."

I then asked for them to return it, but to date no return, it's in "customs" again, which for anyone who has traveled the world, in rural India means stolen and we are not going to account for it. It is now April 14 2018 (4 months) and I have been once again told, they will put a trace on it and no refund or computer returned until the trace is completed and case closed, unless someone opens it again, which happened. The case will remain open until customs says they don't have it, which while in India, my son was told it was out for delivery... I will never see the laptop or reimbursement because an "international" corporation does not understand the culture they do business in. Think twice before using FedEx for outside Europe. They will not stand by their customers and they won't call you back!

Rates were substantially higher, really did not plan that since FedEx had my credit card number that extra fees would be added. It was a small piece of paper, weight was NOT a problem at all. They don't even ring my doorbell (which is always added on the shipping address label). I once had a FedEx delivery guy continually make sexual and other advances toward me on a regular basis. He even started calling me; where he retrieved my phone number from God only knows where. I finally got the courage to tell him I was going to inform his higher-ups and only then did he stop. Then he touched me like we were pals. So I turned him in to FedEx...but since no truck number or colors they can't do anything. Well seeing how everything is monitored by tracking you would think they would know who they had in this area at that time. Guy was around 40 or so. Tacky tacky company. Long story short, FedEx delivered a package I was supposed to receive with Direct Signature Confirmation to the incorrect address and can't find it. But because they got someone's signature for it, they consider it to be delivered. Open a lost package case, their trace department was unable to find the package, it got sent over to claims, and the claim was rejected (or maybe it wasn't).

FedEx is telling the shipper that the insurance claim was denied because they received a signature and insist that it was delivered to my address (it wasn't, I have security cameras, I was home, I would have proof that they walked up to my house). But FedEx is telling me that the claim was paid out. I get told different things by different FedEx employees every time I call their customer support. (I've been told that the claim has been paid out, that the claim has been rejected, that it hasn't been investigated at all, that the shipper never insured the package, that it was delivered as expected, that it's lost...) I'll never use their service again.

FYI: The driver was sent from the Troutdale, OR shipping facility. I spoke to one of their floor managers, Steve, and he had no record of a trace ever being attempted or requested on my tracking number to his facility, so FedEx lied to me about even attempting to find my package (a Sonos Sound Bar). I'm going to guess that one of their employees stole it because I spoke to all of my neighbors who could have received it and nobody received a package and the shipper said he sent it in the original retail package (so everyone could see exactly what was inside). Filed a complaint with the FBI internet crimes complaint center as per eBay policy, filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, not sure what else I can do.

I recently tried to register for delivery services and FedEx has a list of multiple choice questions that I have to answer. There was personal info that I have never shared with FedEx, as well as about people that I don't know, it asked me about former tenants of my house, even asked what county my father resides in! And because I couldn't answer the questions for which I have no info, I am now locked out of system and will have to wait for something to be mailed to me!!! Mailed!! I will never use FedEx! I ordered a rather large package prior to going away for a long weekend and didn't dream that it would have been delivered so quickly. So, along with putting my mail from the USPS on hold, I went to the FedEx website to put a vacation hold on my package, hoping to have it delivered the day I was returning from vacation. I went to the site, place the delivery hold and I thought all was well and good until the next morning when I received an email that stated that my package would be delivered in 2 days when I would be well on my way to the beach. Thinking I had best call rather than try to take care of this online, I called and was assured by the agent that the package would not be sent out for delivery until I was back home.

The next morning, I received two emails from FedEx, one stating that I would receive my package on the original delivery date and one stating that I would receive my package the day following the original delivery date, still 3 full days prior to my returning home AND that they would be delivered to my local FedEx drop off at my neighborhood Walgreens, which I did not in any way authorize. I called again and explained the problem and was told that there was nothing that could be done. I asked to speak to someone who was a native English speaker and was told that I would have to call back after 7:00 am.

After 7:00, I called back and spoke with 'Charlie' who assured me that it was a 'simple request' and that he would take care of the matter. The next day, several hours into my trip on my way to the beach, feeling confident that my package would be delivered to my house I received a phone call from Walgreens stating that my very large package had been delivered and that I would need to come and pick it up because they had nowhere to store it. I finally worked out an arrangement with them so that I wouldn't have to backtrack and return home.

The next thing I had to figure out was how I was going to get this package back to my house. Thankfully, I got all of that worked out but my question is, why, after spending what amounted to several hours on the phone, can't FedEx get a simple vacation hold for delivery of a pack right? After reading all the complaints on this page and others, I think that FedEx best be getting their act together. I, for one, will never choose them if I need to ship something.

The lack of training with FedEx phone agents and the decline in FedEx customer service is astonishing. You have to go through at least ten automated requests to get a live agent, finally just repeating "agent" over and over. Then the average wait time is at least five minutes. I have a standard American accent, and in many of interactions with agents, I had to repeat my request several simply to schedule a pick-up, finally spelling out the words "pick-up." Three times the agent had to check with his "manager" to confirm that, having an account, I did not have to give package measurements.

On two occasions the agent did not understand the word "concierge". On another I was on hold for 18 minutes while an agent tried to reach a supervisor because he couldn't figure out how to enter an address. I wrote to FedEx to express my concern over these issues, and received a reply which had nothing to do with my email. On this most recent call, while out of town and trying to get a local FedEx phone number to ask a question, the agent could not understand what I wanted to ask the local office, and disconnected the call. I am switching my service to UPS and recommend you do the same.

I have lived in my condo for over 6 years, and I have never had a single package that was sent through FedEx arrive unless I was home. Every single time I call the company, they blame the shipper, stating the shipper wants it this way. Yet, I'll get packages sent from the same shipper through either UPS or USPS, and I will not have any issues with them. In fact, when FedEx fails to deliver a package I'll return it and have it sent UPS or USPS, and I'll get it without any issues. The other excuse I get is that because I live in an apartment-style home, they can't just leave the package, even at my insistence.

My options when I have a package delivered through FedEx are: 1. Take off work, which costs hundreds of dollars a day. 2. Have the item shipped to a holding facility. This isn't always an option. The holding facility is not the same as the shipping facility, so I have to wait for it to be delivered from the shipping facility to the holding facility, and then go the holding facility to get my item. 3. Return the item and have the item shipped through another shipper. This costs the sender double, because they still are charged for the shipment, but are also charged for the return of the item. Plus, they pay to ship it to me through another carrier. This gives extra delays, as it takes time for the item to be returned and then to be shipped again. FedEx has a lot of excuses for these issues. They usually blame the sender and say "the sender wants it this way." But really, they are the only major shipping company I have issues with.

Delivery driver came by once and put a door tag on gate and I signed it where he put it in plain sight on gate so he could deliver if something ever came up and I wasn't able to be home. I work nights so I'm usually always home. Next day stayed outside working on vehicles all day waiting on my package which was for the vehicle I was working on. It never came and I stay outside all morning and at night all the way until after midnight and no package.

Went online to check status and the driver had put, "Delivery Exception. Customer not home or business closed." Not only was I there but my door tag was signed and waiting. So I got a few hours sleep and got up and went outside and called FedEx and talked to a line of people with holding on the line in between and having to explain myself to each one and the last guy I talked to told me a case # then said they would call me back in 2 hours. They never did. So I go outside and spend another whole day and night until past midnight outside waiting for my package and they never came so once again I go online and the delivery driver once again scans the package and makes another door tag and it says, "Delivery Exception. Customer not home or business closed."

So next day call them again and they tell me it’s on delivery. Would be there that day. So I spend another whole day outside waiting and no delivery and I go on there and it says "Delivery Exception customer not home or business closed" and the people I talked to promised it would be there and so the next morning I call and I have had enough talking to people that just get paid to talk to you so they can say they have support.

So I ask for management or that specific ship center management so they forward me to a guy who definitely wasn't a professional customer service in his slang words but he told me he was an assistant manager over that area and I explained what was going on and he said the guy put 3 door tags and showed he had scanned the package and that he had to go by what the delivery driver had did and I said I have security cameras that we can go back on and I can show him he didn't come and he says, "Well he scanned it 3 times. It has to sit in their shipping center for 5 days."

And I said, "I got proof he lied and is not doing his job and that means I've already waited 10 days for it to get to where it was first at then the 3 days the delivery driver lied about and then another 5 days" and he said, "I could come up there and pick it up" and I said that 70 miles 1 way 140 round trip and their delivery driver was paid and them to deliver it that if it came down to that we were going to get legal proceedings started and I wasn't too happy.

He could tell and also our security cameras of them not coming and the recorded calls of our conversations and video would be put on YouTube and contacting local media. And then he said, "Let me talk to upper management" and he put me on hold. Then he came 5 minutes later and said they could deliver the next day and got direction information and promised delivery and told me the guy’s name that he said was responsible for delivery was a routine area route driver and so I said ok and he said, "He affirmed delivery next day." And I told him, "Thank you."

Then next day back outside waiting and waiting then it was after 1pm I decided to call and see if it had left ship center and it had not and I told them the assistant manager had told me it would be delivered today after talking to his upper management and they started right back where all the other support personnel did and told me it wouldn't be delivered. It was still in ship center for some reason.

So she transferred me to a guy that I'm pretty sure was a guy I talked to the 2nd day and he was trying to tell me the same thing. They kept trying to tell me was it was scanned and they were going by what the delivery driver had scanned and when I said he can scan it anywhere and say nobody was home and not even go by a place the guy just uh uh uh ok but he scanned the package and I was going to have to go get it and then he pushed my last button and I went wild chihuahua on him and then he agreed to have the actual ship center manager to call me. Which I had already been told I would be called by someone and it hadn't happened yet that it was just a way to get me off the line and on to someone else and no one would call but I think I finally broke through.

About 30 minutes later the ship manager called me and was calm and asked directions and details to my address and I told him and he said he would have it sent out. I said ok and I felt he was sincere so later that evening it finally arrived and the package was in poor shape. It smelt like fish and these were brakes that were in it and the packaging was taped and the inside packaging was just in pieces inside and the box was full of holes and I was worried the brakes would be broken.

I'd say somebody was using it for a pissed off toss toys and they were opened and taped up so maybe why it was so hard for the guy to come back and them to get it to me was the driver found him some of someone else's brakes and the manager wrote "Real Temper" on package which I wouldn't have been tempers flaring if he would keep his employees honest or hire them that way and it was like when I talked to him I was calm so for him to write it on package.

The support must have said it if he had been through 4 days of being stuck waiting at home outside and some lazy driver had screwed you over and sent you through all these support techs that have no power. It for someone to talk to. I took pictures so if there is a place I got pics of what it looked like and will post if I can. And I'm sure where I bought them from is more professional than the delivery service they had transporting it.

I've had plenty of problems with UPS as well but not to this extent and it wasn't so difficult to get to talk to the local office and get things straightened out. The best and most successful shipping company in America is the oldest and most experienced. It is The United States Postal Service. I have not had a problem out of them and instead of getting things late I would get them early which is why I choose them and I prefer them to ship to me as well. Someday with the way the others are performing it will soon be only USPS.

This is going to be a very harsh review. One of my credit card companies offered to overnight a replacement card at no additional cost to me, and that they were sending it via FedEx. After the phone call, I learned it was being sent to the building I live in, and I was concerned because I wouldn't be there to receive it, and it's a very public area. I live in a good area, but unfortunately, people do walk off with things. Via tracking, I saw they tried to leave it there and couldn't, of course. The site said they'd leave a slip with instructions so I looked for it when I got home, and they didn't leave a thing saying they'd been there.

I called twice this morning trying to straighten it out, and pretty much the same thing happened each time. I told them...briefly...what happened, and each time they repeated back what I'd just told them. Example: “I am sorry to tell you, but the driver tried to deliver it and you weren't there so he couldn't.” The second time this happened, I asked the person on the phone if he'd listened to or heard anything I said. Yes, I was probably slightly rude at that point, but he was unbelievable. The first person I talked with suggested I leave a slip with my signature allowing them to leave it at the front door. Really? I mean, really? Leave your signature, which would basically be a legal document, allowing them to leave it there unattended? I am sorry but it was incredibly stupid to even suggest that. I tried to work with the second person more than I did the first, but in each case I gave them my name, address, zip code, etc.

Why did they ask me for it a second time saying they'd to verify it when it'd just been given to them? The first person told me they could just leave it there because there was no restriction on it, while the second told me without being asked that they couldn't, followed by...and I'm not kidding... "Well, what do you want me to do about it?"

At that point I told him they just return it to its point of origin, and he said he needed my phone number too so he could verify things. Why did he say, then, that he was asking all the other questions to verify things? I told him that I wasn't giving him my number because he shouldn’t need it at that point, and he said he had to get it from me. I'm sorry, but he doesn't have to get anything from me at that point, and I told him where he couldn’t handle the information he'd just been given, I certainly wasn’t giving him that. The FedEx drivers are great...I deal with them all the time where I work, but the customer service...the people they have answering the phones... they are what hold FedEx back in a less than #1 spot.

This happened in one day. I had a return, going back to Amazon. Two boxes of the same dishes, one order. Amazon arranged pickup. FedEx guy leaves a note telling me to take it to go to a UPS. I have a broken arm and a small car. And I paid for this shipping. So Amazon takes care of me, as they always do, and gives me another label. FedEx shows up again, and says they cannot pick up (even one box!). I ask if they will take the first and second label, put them together, and pick up both boxes. The "delivery" person finally agrees.

I coincidentally also have an entire patio set which was to be delivered to me. It was a replacement to a previous one that they had damaged in transit. They delivered the first one, but said that the second one, which was much smaller, could not be delivered because it was "too big". Of course they didn't bother to call me or the sender. Of course they picked it up. The problem somehow occurred when it was only 40 miles from my house.

Believe it or not, also on the same day, a rug was also held. And no, they did not contact anyone at all. When it wasn't here on time, I traced it to their facility, 40 miles away, and it was deemed "2 inches too big". Yes, they had delivered much larger rugs, but somehow this one (yet another vendor... 3 vendors, 3 products, 1 day) had to be picked up by me. And I paid for shipping, mind you.

I despise working with FedEx, and hope they go out of business. They have completely abandoned the concept of customer service and hire the least intelligent people they can. Honestly, what is less expensive to a company, just delivering an item they originally accepted for shipment, or sending it across the country to the seller, and fully reimbursing the seller. I waited for three days in which the individual whom my item was dropped off to remained in contact with me informing that the package had yet to be picked back up.

I contacted FedEx on day six and was informed that they would not pick up the item and it was my responsibility to contact Walmart and file a claim to have my money reimbursed although it was not an error of Walmart but an error of FedEx for delivering to the wrong residence. I asked repeatedly regarding FedEx grievance process however was never provided the information. Good thing good people still exist in the world because the lady meet me on her personal time to deliver my package. Very disappointed with FedEx process.

Several times packages were either left at the wrong location or not "found" at all. This has NEVER happened with other delivery services (e.g., UPS). When I've complained, including filling out their "claim form", the answer I get is they left it where it was supposed to be. The claim form is another joke as you get a follow up email requesting all sorts of additional information! This for an item that cost $10! Their goal is to make it so difficult that you give up. (As proof of them leaving it at the wrong address is that someone found my package on a totally different street even though it was correctly addressed - and, yes, my address is in GPS systems!) I never ship with them and if I am using a vendor that uses them I ask for signature required or the use of a different shipper or I don't order the item!

So I asked why do I have to wait so long while he takes everybody else package. I was told that theirs was prepaid. I advise Mr ** that I have an account and this is also paid for by my company. I have never personally used FedEx for shipping, but I recently ordered from a company that does. My experience was a nightmare. Please keep in mind that I rarely complain. As a manager in the IT industry, I know that things "happen". So for me to come here and leave a complaint, it's a big deal. My package was supposed to be delivered on 3/20. I did not know that a signature was required, so being that I work during the day, the package was undeliverable. I was not upset, and that was completely understandable. I did find it odd that a door tag was not left, as UPS and USPS always leave one. The tracking site said that it would go out for delivery the next day. The next day, 3/21, we had inclement weather, therefore no attempt was made to deliver. Understandable. I called them for clarification because initially the tracking site said that it would be delivered by the end of the day. I was supposed to receive a callback, but didn't.

The next day, 3/22, the tracking site said that it was out for delivery. I stayed home from work. I didn't even turn on my TV during the day to ensure that I heard them. Around 1:25pm, I get a notification text advising that they were unable to deliver at 1:11pm because no one was available to sign. WHAT?!? I was there the whole time!!! No one came!!! I opened the door to see if a door tag was left... of course there wasn't one there. I called to report this, and the rep kept saying "They will try again tomorrow". She did not understand that I work, and I cannot stay home everyday waiting for a company that may not even show up. I asked for a manager and was transferred to a "Customer Advocacy" group. I explained again that happened and requested that the driver come back (let's be real, they never came initially).

The rep called the "station" and advised that the "station" said that they were not sending a driver back out (again...they never came initially). He offered to have someone call me, and I advised that I didn't feel confident about that because I was still waiting on a callback from the day before. After 2-3 hours and no callback, I called back. I told the rep that I did not want them to attempt delivery and that I would pick it up. They told me that the sender would have to request that because there was a restriction set by the sender that FedEx could not hold it for pickup. I called the sender/company, and they advised that there was a restriction under their insurance that FedEx could not hold for pickup until there were 2 failed attempts. This meant that after 3/23, I should be able to pick it up. The customer service at the company that I ordered from was great. It is a shame that they ship via FedEx.

3/23, I go to work and know that I am going to miss delivery. Although I'm still highly pissed that they LIED about not being able to deliver the day before, I feel a little better knowing that I will be able to pick up on Saturday due to the 3rd failed attempt on Friday, 3/23. I get home on 3/23, and for the first time see a door tag stating "2nd attempt". But hold on... shouldn't this be the 3rd attempt based on you saying that you came the day before???

3/24, I call FedEx again. I am told that 3 failed attempts have been made, and my package is now available for pickup. I am disappointed to hear that it is at a facility 30 miles away, but glad to get it and be done with this nightmare. I drive the 30 miles to the provided location... and that address doesn't exist. I drive a little further back on the road, and do see a FedEx facility with a different street number than what was provided. It turns out that this is not a pickup site, but a warehouse of some sort.

I call FedEx from the parking lot, and this rep tells me that this is not a pickup site (Duh!), and that my package is not available for pickup. He says that he doesn't know why the other rep told me that. According to him, it is set for delivery that day. I told him that it can't be out for delivery because the tracking site doesn't even show that it had been scanned that day. He pulls it up, and says "You're right, it didn't go out for delivery today". At this point, I'M DONE! I tell him to send it back to the sender.

I called the company that I ordered from, and left a voicemail asking them to cancel my order. I assured them that they were not the issue, and I advised that they would never have my business as long as they ship via FedEx. I understand the signature restriction as it was a very expensive item, but I cannot deal with the lies and incompetence of FedEx.

The same company rep that I spoke to on Thursday called today. She was awesome and asked if I would allow her to contact FedEx to see if she could salvage the order. She called them, and got nowhere. They gave her the same non existent address for pickup that they gave me. She said that even if it was legitimate, she would not dare ask me to drive another 30 miles. She also asked if they could deliver it to a FedEx pick center that was actually near my home, and they said that they could not. She offered to have them send her the package back, and she would overnight it to me. It would still require signature, and she would do it on my day of choice that I could be home. I advised that my schedule will not allow it.

She was really sincere and wanted to help, but I told her to move forward with cancelling and to refund my payment. I told her that she was great, but that I would never order from them again with FedEx as their means of delivery. I have ordered very pricy items in the past from another company that required signature, but I have never had these types of issues with UPS or USPS. She said that they have had issues with FedEx, and that they are going to meet with their FedEx account manager about this. I apologize for the lengthy post, but I hope that it helps someone. I don't wish this on anyone, but I am glad to see that I am not alone in my experience.

The only reason I am giving them 1 star is because the rating system requires it. I paid for an express package that was supposed to be delivered on Thursday March 22nd. The package got to the station after the truck left and couldn't be delivered. 1st attempt Friday March 23rd no one was in the apartment, so I called their customer service like 15 mins after the attempt and tell them that someone is now in the apartment, they claimed that they would re-attempt the delivery. I even offered to go pick up the package with an ID and tracking number if the truck was still in the area. Because I know how difficult it is for the "delivery" person to actually deliver a package. So of course they didn't return that day. That's already day number two.

Fast forward to Monday March 26 they "attempted" to deliver but according to the "delivery" person no one was at the apartment, when someone was there the whole time. Not even a courtesy ring. I would had gladly went downstairs to pick up the package if they would had ringed on the intercom. But of course they didn't. Now I call them and they offer to leave my package at a pick-up location. And of course it would not be delivered today to the pick up location, I would have to wait until tomorrow March 27th. So express delivery is useful if you want your package four business days later. So any company that wants to ship me something via FedEx I will make sure to cancel. It's not worth the headache.

This was THE WORST of all shipping experiences I have EVER had, and I've had many more than I can count. FedEx needs to figure out how to deal with apartment complexes because the process is highly inefficient. My delivery apparently was attempted to be delivered 4 days in a row at around noon everyday: Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri. Firstly, my apartment complex has a service called Parcel Pending that has large secure lockers that can hold big and small packages. All boxes go in these. Seems like FedEx did not figure this out. Secondly, when I realized that they were probably trying to bring it to my front door I provided my building code to enter my building and instructed them to leave it at my front door and I switched on text updates and requested customer service to let them give me a call when they arrived. Still, I got no text, no call, no delivery on Thursday. Just a message saying it failed at noon-ish.

Now Friday comes around and I'm sitting right in front of my front door waiting to hear a knock or a call or text or something, I even notified my apartment complex main building to accept the package and give me a call when it arrived in case the delivery person took it there instead and while waiting I get an email saying the I refused the package. Are you kidding me?!! I called Customer Service immediately, and they get in contact with the "station", who had nothing to say about this, so she informed me that they will attempt to deliver the package again between 2-8 pm. I instruct my husband to stay home during those hours instead of being at work and I get a missed call and VM from FedEx saying that my package is in some location where I have to pick it up. No mention about the 2-8 pm timeframe they promised.

I mean this is a package, not a priority. Between my husband and myself we have missed 7-8 hours of work WAITING FOR FALSE PROMISES. FedEx straight up LIED to me saying that they attempted to deliver at 11:42 am 3/23/18 to the apartment complex main office because the reps at the main office itself were waiting for the package as well. I will NEVER USE FedEx again if I have a choice. This is absolutely ridiculous and they're also more expensive than other services. AWFUL. SO UPSET.

CAUTION about Federal Express. Some years ago Federal Express had great prices and great Customer Service. No more. FedEx gave me a price of $70.00 for shipping a package. They overcharged us ($129.00). Unfortunately our business has an account with them so there are very few avenues for pursuing this theft by Federal Express. I made ABSOLUTELY sure that the Fedex representative who was quoting the price to me understood every detail. Dimensions, weight, packaging needs etc. They charged my account over $129 for this shipment and then made excuses every time I called to question it. I finally gave up in disgust and wrote a letter to the CEO which was IGNORED until I contacted the Better Business Bureau two months later. THEN they replied with some lies or misinformation (mistake maybe? I think not!) about the weight given. Disgraceful behavior! They could have easily resolved this by making good on their quote.

This is not the first time they have pulled stunts like this with over-pricing. They know what their rates are. WHY do they bait and switch by giving lower prices in quotes to customers VERBALLY and on their website? Instead I must now contact an attorney and sue them. WARNING: It is my opinion that you could very likely be scammed or stolen from by Federal Express. Especially if you use a credit card or open an account. I had an order for countertops for one of my properties, before I could receive them, I need to review a template that was shipped. To save the hassle of shipping to my home while I am not there, I had it shipped to my work address. I kept regular tabs on the process, and once shipped via FEDEX, I noticed a delivery day of Saturday. Being Thursday, I promptly called FEDEX to have them hold the package at the facility so I may pick it up on Saturday (being that the office is closed on weekends).

The operator at 1.800.GoFedEx assured me that I was ok, and the package would be held for pickup on Saturday. Saturday morning I checked the tracking number, only to my shock to see it out for delivery, and a note that package was not delivered because no one was available (shocker). I called 1.800.GoFedEx again, and was told that there must have been a mistake, and that it was for sure going to be held for my pickup on Monday (FedEx Home delivery is closed Mondays, and it was shipped via FedEx Home). The operator even called the hub, to ensure that this would have taken place. He would not give me the number because it was "for internal use only" but assured me I would be able to get the package, and could not before then, because the driver was out making deliveries, and there was no way to contact or make arrangements with him. I reluctantly got off the phone feeling like this was a half measure to their mistake.

Cut to Monday. I travel 30 minutes to the FedEx hub, to which I am greeted with a phone in a sparse room with a single chair and no heat. I pick up the phone, relay my tracking number, and wait on hold for 20 minutes. When the operator finally gets back on the line, she informs me that the package is on a truck with 200 other packages that were not delivered, and there was no one available to obtain it from the truck. She then offered to have the package held so I may pick it up the next day (Tuesday). I declined since I was assured it would be back for delivery on the truck the next day, and that there was NO REFERENCE TO MY TWO CALLS OR REQUESTS to hold the package anywhere in the system!

It is this kind of blatant disregard for service, and apathy for not only package handling, but customer satisfaction that is the reason I ask everyone to never use FedEx. I have used UPS and USPS with no issue, UPS even has a button push to reroute the package, and it does just that (I have used it myself a few times). This customer service will be the sole reason I never use FedEx and will tell everyone I know of the horrid service, to ensure that my issue does not happen to another, and that perhaps when FedEx loses more market share they can reflect on their shortcomings and know that it was their ineptitude that caused the fall, not any outside influences, but only a failure from within.

Customer service said the package is still in Kentucky due to a weather delay. This is odd because the weather in Kentucky last night and again today is 64 degrees Fahrenheit and pleasant. This is the second time FedEx used this ** excuse with me.

I live outside the city and in it seems like the drivers don't want to have to work late to deliver my packages. My last package was to arrive on a Wed, no package, said was due to weather conditions, there was no rain or snow in my area. Next day they call and ask if they can come on Friday because he still had 30 stops to make (REALLY). Friday no delivery due to weather conditions (again no weather in my area). Finally received package on Saturday. Now again another package out on truck yesterday for delivery and no package due to weather conditions (it was raining) But a FedEx truck drove by my house to deliver to the neighbors. I pay for this service and they don't seem to care about the customers.

I absolutely HATE dealing with FedEx, multiple times we schedule pickups, they NEVER pick up when they say they will! Nor do we receive a call or email stating they won't be here till a later date and time. They stated they just don't do confirmation emails on pick up. We're trying to run a business here and FedEx is getting paid for their unprofessional business, so why is it so hard for them to do what they say they're going to do or let someone at my business know. Oh, but when we call, when they don't show up, schedule pick up is always scheduled the day I call, even though the lady on the phone when I did schedule it said it was scheduled for the next day, 2 days later they plan on showing up. If I didn't need to go through them I wouldn't.

I have a very expensive item that was supposed to be delivered on 3/13 and was on the truck and out for delivery at 9:34 am that day. FedEx never updated the status, I had to call and open a case just to find out where it was. Sara at customer service was very nice and followed up when she said she would. She let me know the package would be delivered today 3/14.

I left on the door the delivery form from FedEx with my signature to leave package in the enclosed lobby if door was locked. I went out to walk the dog and saw the FedEx truck nearby. Of course the driver came while I was walking the dog! He took my signed form to leave my package but didn’t leave the package! He marked it as a delivery exception so now I have to try this again tomorrow. These delivery men are ridiculous, I’ve never had this issue with UPS! Next time I will just pickup my item from the store and not bother with the free shipping. Not worth it! I will purposefully not purchase from a vendor if they use FedEx.

At the end of last year, I joined a mail service that uses FedEx Ground exclusively. There were two attempts made the first time they sent something to me. The third time, I was home all day teleworking. My security camera footage shows the driver coming to the door with the box AND a new door tag, which he left on the door. No attempt was made to ring the doorbell AT ALL. I called, filed a complaint and two gentlemen delivered the package the next day. This most recent incident, however, caused me to cancel my mail service with this company and draft a complaint to the FedEx's corporate office as well as posting my complaint here.

On March 6th and March 7th, attempts were made to deliver the package and a door tag was left. There are four units in my building but NO unit number was written on the door tag. On March 8th, I was home all day expecting the package. According to the history, the driver claims that he made an attempt at 2:37 pm. When I went to look at the security camera footage, it shows the driver stopping in front of my house and then driving away. HE/SHE NEVER GOT OUT OF THE TRUCK!!!! I called and filed ANOTHER complaint. On March 9th, I was told that someone would call me and schedule a time for re-delivery. That never happened, but online HISTORY says ‘awaiting additional delivery information from recipient’. The recipient would be me and there was NO additional communication with me from FedEx.

When I complained online about the fact that no unit number was even written on the door tag, I was told that my package was at the facility waiting for pick up. That wasn't what the ‘history’ said. Since this is merchandise that I didn’t pay for, I’m allowing it to be returned to the shipper. I don’t know if there is a rule about the number of packages that need to be attempted in a day, if there are bonuses given, etc, but this is ABSURD!!!! Before I order ANYTHING, I will have to check to see if FedEx Ground is used because, if I can help it, I am NEVER going through this with you all again.

I ordered online in the past 2 weeks and both companies used FedEx as the shipping company. The first package came open and no one could explain to me why and how it was open. Everyone saw the package was open yet acted nonchalant. I was told it has been investigated and still no response. The second order I paid for express shipping and was traveling the day my computer was due to arrive. I had to reschedule my flight and FedEx is yet to answer why the package was late.

I live in the country and depend on deliveries for everything from electronics and clothing to food and wine. The players in this area are UPS and FedEx, so it is a giant step for me to say I will NEVER do business with any online company that uses FedEx for delivery service. This is the tenth time in as many months that our local FedEx guy has misdelivered a package of mine, and signed my name to signify that the package was delivered and signed for. This time it happens to be a camera that I ordered specifically for a trip. Last time it was a case of wine. He usually delivers my packages to someone down the road — and he often delivers THEIR packages to me. So I would guess he may be dyslexic and unable to correctly sequence the numbers in addresses on his route — not exactly a solid qualification for delivering packages.

At any rate, I've had it. Enough is enough. The process is always the same — wait at home all day for a package requiring a signature, then find out at 9:00 PM that the package was delivered and signed for somewhere else. I believe what is happening is that the driver signs for the package himself, and drops it off at the front door of a house where no one is home, but that's conjecture on my part. Whatever the case, any company that ships via FedEx just lost a customer.

The worst shipping company I have ever had to deal with. I took off from work to receive my package only to find out that they changed the delivery for the following day without notice. Unbelievable, I can't stop another day from work and there is no way possible I can go to a facility to pick up a 100lbs safe, ridiculous!! Angry as ** right now!
