Recently, I made a business account with work to use FedEx when we ship things internationally. It comes with a 90 day welcome package, where you can contact a rep via email and ask any questions to them directly. Which, I thought would extend further past my 90 days. However, when I contacted the person I was refused my questions being answered and instead told to call the service desk (because my 90 days was up). This is severely dissatisfying, as with Purolator I always have a representative I can contact by email for business purposes; it should be the same for FedEx. I would highly consider they review this process. This is a loss for FedEx as we will no longer be using their services.

The poorest service that I could have ever received. I never thought that a company would provide a service like that. My package was expected to arrive on Wednesday, August 29 and it has been a week already that I am waiting for this package to be delivered. The package is indirect signature required, so I had to be at home waiting; however, it looks like that the drivers did not even attempt to deliver it, they marked that it was delivered or they just say that they tried to deliver it, which is also a lie because there was no doortag on my door and I was at home waiting for it.

Also, a problem that appeared to me was the impossibility to track the package myself, some representative of your customer service said that was normal a driver mark as delivered and not deliver the package, I do not understand how is something like this normal. I can't be waiting days and more days for a package, it really affected me mentally and financially at school and at work. In addition, the Representatives from the FedEx customer service does not know anything about my package, they keep saying that they could not reach out the facility of South San Francisco because "there was no one there" or "they don't answer". I really hope that I can at least have my package one day. But I will for sure do everything from my power to keep me and everyone that I know, and everyone that I can reach out, away from FedEx and aware of the poor service that was given to me.

Do you want to ship Your package outside Earth in Space so that it's lost and you can never retrieve it? Then you have come to the right Company. They will do it for you with perfection. Worst experience with FedEx. Delivered the package at wrong location. The delivery guy signed my initials by himself. FedEx had no idea about where my package was. FedEx never calls you back. There's an endless list. Congratulations ! You lose both, the fees you pay to FedEx for shipping and Your Shipment.

The worst FedEx drivers I've ever. I have 2 camera at my front door. I'm suppose to receive a package for my customer that required a signature, meaning I'm losing money because I have to install the part that's suppose to come in. FedEx driver literally knocked on the door, didn't ring or anything, waited 30 sec and then left and took package with him. Next day, the package was on the wrong truck at wrong location. What the ** is going on FedEx. I hope they burn and their business goes down in hell. Even USPS is more helpful with their packages. I'm pissed.

I watched the FedEx guy pick up my package form my lawyer's office. Never heard from it again. The guy who actually picked up my package said he left it at the depot and I believe him. The package was NEVER scanned and when I inquired about the tracking number they said it was domestic United States and since I was in Canada it was supposed to be international. Either way I said, "It got to Canada from the US so why did it not get back to the US?" No one at FedEx has replied to my queries; not even an email.

Each person you talk to tries to place the blame on someone else and no one ever accepts responsibility. Obviously someone needs to start at the beginning and find out what happened to my package but they do nothing. No one says, "Oh I'll call the depot." or "I'll check with the dispatch." They just say, "The package has not been scanned so we do not know what happened to it." Unacceptable! Customer service at FedEx is non-existent.

I dont know what store delivers to Dacula GA, but they suck every time. I have seen packages tossed into my yard. Instead of my door. I actually watched them toss it because it was too hot to walk 2 feet? My favorite was waiting on a delivery only to find it shoved next to the trash in the garage. I had no idea it was there until I went looking for a box. Oh not to mention. When you do catch a driver to say anything, they are the rudest people on the planet. But my biggest problem is the fact they SPEED through the neighborhood like a bat out of hell. I cringe everytime a place sends my package via FedEx.

I received a text from the FedEx notification that my package was delivered on my porch while I was home. There was no package & I saw the contracted driver leave my street at the other end. I immediately called FedEx and they provided me with a trace #. I called back 2 days later as I still hadn't received my package, their systems were down. I called days after due to the holiday weekend. I was on the phone for 25 minutes and then I was automatically transferred to do their customer service survey, then the call hung up! I called back & had to explain everything again, and the trace department states that the local terminal messaged back that the customer picked up - which is me. Then I tell the person that I did not pick up my package as I do not know what house they left it and I am not going up & down the street looking for it not knowing who lives there & it is 24lbs.

FedEx has the nerve to tell me to contact the shipper to let them know that FedEx lost the package... & I am telling them to send the driver out who apparently doesn't know how to use GPS and pick it up and deliver it. FedEx is too lazy and having contracted drivers is the problem -- this was not a person with the normal FedEx purple/orange logo, this was a vehicle with a contracted driver.

FedEx is lacking customer service and not taking responsibility for their mistakes by making the drivers go back to the wrong delivery location. They just tell you to deal with the shipper of the item. Terrible shipper & terrible assistance to the customer - especially when the customer is telling you that the delivery is on the same street wrong house but won't send out the driver who messed up. By the way, this is the 2nd time this has happened... How do you mess up delivery to a wrong house when you have GPS??? DUH Good riddance FedEx!!

We ground shipped a large box of important personal items from Cincinnati FedEx location (on 9/29) to NYC (to be delivered to FedEx Astor Place location in Manhattan) with SPECIFIC instructions that we were going to pick up the items on Saturday at Astor Place location (on 9/1). We were guaranteed that items would be at the Astor Place location on Saturday which was critically important as I was in the city for 1 day to move our daughter into a new apartment. We arrived at the Astor Place location on Saturday and NO package... apparently DRIVER MISTAKENLY left the package in Brooklyn.

Store manager (John **) tried to help us and he contacted FedEx dispatch to try to retrieve the package but he received NO assistance from FedEx customer service. Our daughter, WHO HAS ASTHMA, now needs to pick up a 61-pound box on TUESDAY, by herself, and arrange to move by herself. I was shocked by the lack of accountability with FedEx.

So I purchased a pair of Etnies sneakers from the Etnies website, and they shipped out on Monday August 27th 2018. The delivery date was for Friday August 31st, 2018. On Friday the package never arrived. At 1:15 pm I inquired about the delivery status as their online tracking information showed it as on the delivery truck since 4:54 am. I was told it would be at my home by 6 pm. At 6:30 pm, I received a delivery confirmation that it was dropped off at my front door at NOON.

Mind you I'd been home the entire day, and have the email transcript of the chat conversation where at 1:15 it was still on the truck.

I have several screenshots of proof that the item was NOT delivered, as well as a claim filed against them for this, as the driver fraudulently claims he dropped it off at the specific time on the confirmation, even though I have sent screenshots time stamped at 1:00, 2:00, 4:00, and 6:00 proving it was still listed as in transit at those times.

I am 0 for 2 on my last 2 item shipped by FedEx. The first item, a book my daughter needed for college, they lost. I opened a case to track it - I had to initiate every conversation. Two weeks later (after class had started), they informed me that it was lost. I would need to contact the book vendor to file a claim, recoup my loss and get another book! Thank for absolutely nothing FEDEX!!! Where’s customer service & accountability? The vendor & I didn’t lose the book - you did! My second item - a dorm table was ordered and I was told it was to arrive August 30th - in time for my daughter to pick it up over the Labor Day weekend & take back to school.

Did it arrive on time? Nope. Received an update from the vendor today, that it will arrive by 8pm Tuesday - after my daughter is back in school. Guess FedEx took off early for the weekend. Clearly they don’t care about customers or delivering packages on time - don’t they realize folks rely on their service. If I lost my work or was late meeting my deadlines, I would be fired. Maybe some vendors need to start finding new a new shipping service.

Repeatedly Fedex documents delivery 24 to 72 hours before delivery is actually made. When contacted they stick with their false data concerning delivery. I have several security cameras mounted outside my home. I can see clearly who comes in my 750 driveway. As stated, it has happened several times and I have contacted Fedex and they start a case for the item that was documented as delivered but no answers are available as to why they document to the buyer and seller false data about the delivery time and dates.

With Walmart orders, I contact Walmart and they send out an additional product to replace the product that was not delivered. The next day I get the first delivery and then the replacement delivery. I then have to call Walmart and get a return authorization for Fedex to come back and pick up the second delivery and return to Walmart. Works the same with my Amazon orders. Sad situation and Fedex seems to be ok with the performance.

An automatic shipment order I have had coming to my house for over a year, has been delayed by a week each of the past three scheduled deliveries. FedEx changes the tracking data daily stating shipment is out for delivery, but it never shows. Eventually after a few days of FedEx changing the tracking data, the tracker will indicate the driver cannot find my house. We are again in a situation with FedEx in which my daughter ordered a time sensitive package and again FedEx keeps changing the tracking info stating it is out for delivery, but the package never comes. When calling FedEx about this problem, agents do not seem to be concerned and just indicate they will pass the information along to the local distribution center. Is there any recourse against FedEx for their improper handling of deliveries?

It was supposed to be a 1-2 day express home delivery. I got a notice by mail the second day it would show up at 6 PM. It never did and I waited frustratingly 40 minutes only to call their customer service and find out they close at 6 PM. Finally I get a number which takes me to their robot customer service. Which after 15 minutes of hassle tells me the package is on route for delivery. So I continue waiting. Of course no one shows up.

By the third day I get a new notice that it will be delivered by 11 AM. Home from work, waiting in the kitchen, in good hearing distance from the front door. Together even with my Doberman (guard dog) who - if I against all odds would've missed it - would bark and run to the door at any sounds. After waiting 2 hours I head back to work only to find the delivery man has left a notice claiming to have called - this obviously ain't so. By the fourth and fifth day I get two more notices by mail that it will be delivered by 6 PM. No one shows up. Both me, my dog and my two flatmates have been home.

After writing to their customer service I've gotten to know it is apparently impossible for them to make a phone call before delivery or give any more precise delivery time than between 9 AM to 6 PM. As a normal, working man I have NO possibility to wait around for 9 hours on a weekday to wait for a delivery-man that might not even ring the doorbell.

The only feasible way for them to deliver is if I write a note on the door. The package is private in nature and I do not wish to have it waiting in the open to be opened or stolen. I chose express 1-2 days international home delivery and paid extra for it. I needed it for a special occasion, thought that perhaps I could still have a use for it after it arrived late - but not on the eighth day and it is still not delivered properly I have emailed them that they might as well return it. A waste of 20 pounds, 6 hours of waiting and emailing and I've got nothing. Use anything but FedEx.

Last year, a driver SUPPOSEDLY made a delivery to my home noted as "delivered" on the sender's and FedEx website. PACKAGE WAS NEVER delivered at least not to my home (security tape to prove it). After I complained to all parties involved, mysteriously the driver showed up 3 days later with the package. When I inquire about the whereabouts of the package, I could not get any answers. On 8/28/18, another driver delivered a package to my address. The instruction (which is also clearly stated in my profile on FedEx manager) is that the package is to be delivered to the back door for medical reasons. Instead, the driver dropped the package at the front door which is not easily accessible to me given that the package is heavy and I only have one working arm.

I immediately called FedEx, the first agent I spoke to offered to send the driver back to rectify their error. It is now over 24 hours, no one has showed up to move the package, instead all I get is "Sorry, we don't know how it happened" or " I don't know why the driver dropped the package at the front". People do make it mistakes, BUT when you can rectify it, you should do the right thing. FedEx had an opportunity to rectify this issue and chose to do nothing. Where is the leadership at FedEx? What kind of training are they giving nowadays? Where is the decency? Anyone should be able to access their package regardless of any limitations they may have as in my case a medical illness.

Every time a package is delivered to the side of my house my car is damage or mirror re-arrange, the space is very tight. By delivering the package at front I can monitor the package and protected from people and rain (until my daughter gets home), and not when is on the side of the house. I'd always thought FedEx was one of the more reliable shippers, but I haven't used them in a while. And I won't use them again. We scheduled a home pickup for yesterday to get several boxes of my son's belongings up to his college before move-in day. We were told that the pickup window would be between 8 am and 6 pm or something, so we sat home all day and waited for the pickup. When no one had arrived a little after 6, my son called and was told that the driver had come by at 4:30 but no one was home--total BS. (I even know exactly what I was doing at 4:30--feeding my dog in the kitchen because she gets grouchy if she's not fed at 4:30)!

Then I called them myself. The rep had nothing useful to say at all, except that maybe we should put a big sign with our apartment number on our door in case the driver couldn't see it. I have stuff delivered here all the time--no one else seems to have a problem "seeing" the apartment number! And there are only two apartments in the building--two doors! Really not so complicated... So now we have another pickup scheduled for today--another day of waiting around. I called customer service again to see if we could get an approximate time... nope.

The rep obviously didn't give a rat's ** about the issue. I'm usually pretty polite to customer service people, but they are so unresponsive that I actually said, "Do you people actually care about any of this?!" They act as if they're still writing orders down on slips of paper rather than using any kind of computer system, and apparently their drivers either just lie or don't know what the letter "B" looks like. And FedEx doesn't care. So here we sit for another day... not holding my breath for a pickup. Through with FedEx.

As I urgently needed the content of the box, I order with FEDEX an International Priority shipment. I paid for this 273,87$ for this service- this was more than I paid for my personal flight with 20kg luggage and the transport to the Hotel on the same route some hours before!

While I did not expect that you can ship at the same time as I traveled- even if it cost more- I was expecting a “priority” shipment in around 2 days- based on previous experiences on such shipments (4 times the physical shipment time). It took them 7 days(!) for a priority shipment. As a result I could not conduct some urgent business, had to postpone my departure from the hotel in Reykjavik, spent additional money on Taxi, phone calls and time. FedEx has a nice tracking system- It showed that most of the days the priority package was not moving at all! I complained with them- again a nice tool- but no response. FedEx was once an excellent company providing excellent service. In my business experience in a huge metropolitan area it always was. Unfortunately, my current home experience with FedEx has been absolutely dreadful. I don’t know if this has to do with the fact that I now reside in the boondocks and no longer in a huge metropolitan area. Below are two situations that have occurred far more than once. I often have to be present for certain deliveries as they require an adult signature. So I come home at the time I am informed the deliveries will be made: between 12:05pm and 8pm. I arrive at my home at 11:00am only to find that delivery has been made to some other individual more than two hours before 12:05pm, and signed for by this other person.

So, I request that packages ONLY be delivered to ME. Yet they frequently are delivered to whatever person the FedEx idiot lays eyes on - if that much. So, MY packages with MY name are delivered to anybody who happens to be around. The FedEx idiot does not obtain the name of the receiving and signing person, so they enter MY name over someone else’s signature. I DID NOT SIGN FOR OR RECEIVE THE PACKAGE. The person who was given the package never turns it over to me.

When I file a complaint I am rudely informed that I signed for it and hence have nothing to complain about. I lost my time, and I lost my package. Something else that occurs is that if it is raining, or the FedEx idiot does not see a vehicle in front of the home, THEY DO NOT EVEN KNOCK - they fill out the sticky note indicating that there was nobody available to sign for and accept delivery of the package, stick the note on the door, and leave.

I have actually witnessed this while I was at home waiting for a delivery I was instructed to be at home for - I saw the FedEx truck pull up, driver get out and place sticky note on my door. HE DID NOT KNOCK, or ring the doorbell. I opened my front door, called out, FedEx idiot runs by right in front of me while I am hollering at him, he jumps into truck, and leaves. With my package. Once again, I do not have my package. For all this I take time off work to be at home to sign for and receive my delivery. For all my efforts to follow FedEx’s instructions, my packages either get delivered to someone else, or no attempt is made to deliver. And I PAY LOTS OF MONEY for this nonsense.

Too many times my package was delivered to the wrong address where the address label was correct. I now have a package on my porch, which doesn't belong to me, for 3 days now. I also got a notice that my package was delivered but I never got it. It obviously went to the wrong house. I called FedEx 3 times about this & still nothing was done. They actually suggested I go to all my neighbors to see if they have my package. This is not my responsibility. Then I was told to resolve it with the company I ordered from. How are they involved? They did nothing wrong. FedEx should be the ones researching that. I haven't written a review in the past when this happened but I've had it.

When I called today for the 3rd time I was told it will be picked up tomorrow. We'll see, but that will be 4 days after delivery. Imagine if someone really needed this package! The drivers have no consequences when this happens so there is no improvement. I'd also like to mention that the box delivered to my house was wrecked & filthy. What do they do with these boxes to get in such bad shape? Step it up FedEx & give your drivers an in-service on how to double check the address before dropping in off.

I arranged for a pre 10.30 delivery from an alarm manufacturer for an important customer I really didn't want to let down. At 10.50 I phoned my supplier to see where the delivery was and after they contacted FedEx the driver stated that he didn't realize this was on a pre 10.30 delivery so he would turn back (he was 15 miles away) so that we could get the goods. At 12.50 I phoned him up and asked where he was, only to be told that he had been stuck in traffic for at least half an hour, and it would be at least another hour before he could deliver to me. I asked if he was 'working' his way to me instead of what he promised - to come to me straight away, - "NO, NO, not at all." was the reply.

He didn't realize that my father in law was living in the town where he was, and was following him making deliveries!! So much for coming straight over! There is a saying about people like this - "totally void of all moral worth." All this has happened 17/8/18. I would suggest that all people who use FedEx - save the money and use another courier instead, or, put the money on the lawn and set fire to it - you'll have more satisfaction from it.

After going online to track the package I found out that it was documented the driver showed up around 10:58a but when I called it was around 11:20. And guess what? The package had already been returned to the depot? What? I called customer service and now the fiasco begins. First, they tell me the driver documented that they left a tag on the door. She calls me back a few hours later to tell me the package again has been returned to the depot and schedule for delivery tomorrow. FedEx doesn't appear to have cracked the home delivery market. It's still much better at delivering to an office, where human contact is found. I stayed home all day for a wine.com delivery and nobody showed up. This allows the driver to claim they have made an attempt, but nobody but the driver knows if that's true. On my delivery day, nobody buzzed my apartment number, nor phoned me, nor left notification that they had made an attempt. Even the updates on the site simply say, Loaded onto truck for delivery in the morning. This provides an easy method for drivers to cheat the system because FedEx doesn't make contact for attempted delivery, like a phone call or attempted delivery notification. The bad news for wine.com is I no longer make regular orders to them unless they plan on changing shippers.

I work for the post office. Most people don't know that both UPS and FedEx use the postal service to not only initiate shipments, but to deliver many of their packages. I had to return a camera that didn't work. I used the printed shipping label provided by the maker of the camera and dropped it off at the post office where I work. It took FedEx four days to pick the package up from the post office. It then took another four days for the package to arrive in Houston, less than 200 miles from the origin. Now, three weeks later, there is still no further scans indicating the package has gone anywhere.

On to customer service: FedEx makes you jump through some hoops just to access their online "chat" with a customer service rep. And then you find out you're in the queue at number 34. Seriously? I have to wait through 34 other unhappy people before I can find out that you do not, in fact, have any clue where my package has gone? It isn't like I actually need the camera, right? The next time I have to ship something I will not be using FedEx. Ever.

Updated on 08/09/2018: After finally getting to "chat" with a FedEx customer rep I was told that since "too much time" has elapsed they cannot track the package. They took the package, scanned it into their system, lost it somewhere, and conveniently deleted the tracking information. Now I have to contact the manufacturer, who foolishly utilized FedEx for their package returns, and get them to initiate a claim.

At this point I will now have to purchase another camera at my expense if I expect to ever get to use it for the intended purpose. Waiting another six months or so for FedEx to issue any claim money isn't an option. Using any other available shipping service, including the guy down the street with his donkey, rather than FedEx is certainly an option I will take. What a ridiculously inept company.

I already knew that FedEx was useless, so if it had been my choice, I would not have shipped through them. But unfortunately, an online seller chose FedEx as their shipper. I got a tracking number. The package was marked as delivered on the front porch in the tracking system. I open the door. Nothing. I go to the garage in case they dropped it off in front of the garage. Nothing there. I go to the community mailbox (it's a gated community). Nothing there, either.

So, I complain to FedEx via email, because even before this incident their tracking system had been completely useless. I knew that the seller most likely wasn't at fault. (And no, I don't call them for 'customer service' anymore, because it's equally useless, I don't know what is on file with them, and they keep changing their words. At least with email, I have something written down.) I also contact the seller to see if he has more information on his end.

Poor seller doesn't get a proper response. He agrees to send me a new package. Only after that does FedEx respond to me with an email saying that 'after careful research,' they found that my package arrived at this and that time -- the timestamp that the faulty tracking system showed. Basically they did not read my complaint at all. It's insulting for them to regurgitate canned responses. The worst part is that all their 'customer service' responses imply that I'm some kind of lying consumer. Because yes, if they keep referring to their tracking system and repeating that the package has been delivered, it means that they just don't believe that their oh-so-perfect delivery system could ever go faulty, therefore, I must be the one lying.

This has taught me a lesson. NEVER. NEVER. NEVER deal with FedEx. Every time I purchase something online, I will contact the seller and CHECK that they aren't using FedEx. In my experience, even USPS was better than FedEx. I sent packages OVERSEAS to military personnel and USPS always managed to deliver it. With FedEx? A humongous gated community is impossible to find, apparently. Unless they found the humongous gated community but failed to read the unit numbers.

People talk of all kinds of big companies that are taking advantage of others. In my opinion, more modern big companies at least have a good customer service (i.e. the customer service representative is able to read and does read your message.) Older companies like FedEx that operate on inertia and merely exist because it has been existing for a long time, despite its lack of quality and indifference to customer service, are the companies that must really disappear. Do not use FedEx unless you have a lot of time to waste.

I understand that FedEx leaves the delivering of packages to their drivers; this opens up the door to discrimination. I have noted this happening to me several times yet individuals I know who live in more "affluent" and ** neighborhoods have packages left on their door stoops. FedEx needs to take this out of their drivers' hands.

All of them are over $500 but they surely delivered the cheap ones! First package was picked up by FedEx then the tracking stopped at their hub somewhere and was never transported anywhere else. 2nd package was claimed to be delivered at the back door. Not true! I was home the whole day waiting for the package, I didn’t see FedEx truck coming by.

Second of all, nobody can access my back door easily. Why bother carrying heavy package walking through the sloppy yard, through the gate and steps when you can easily drop it off at the front porch? I live in rural and secluded, so I don't have close neighbors to steal anything from my property and I know them, they are good honest hard-working people and we respect one another. I called their customer service, was told to wait till the next day. The package showed up the next day at my porch. 2nd package missing was KitchenAid stand mixer professional. I received a late notification at 16:30 that the package was delivered at 14:43 to the wrong address in another town.

I called customer service right away and was told to wait 2 hours, as they opened an investigation and I was given a case ID#. They never called. 4 days and 4 calls later, still nothing. They finally told me to inform KitchenAid to file a claim. KA is sending a replacement and this time signature will be required. Let’s see if it arrives. But what a waste of time! Mine and the vendors. These drivers are incompetent and dishonest! We don't know if they've been stealing things but if they do, they need to be fired and prosecuted. On Thursday a FedEx driver came to my door to deliver a package for my sister. He had me sign for it and then asked in a hostile manner if he had come to our door to deliver the same package before. Since it was not for me I told him that I didn't know, and said probably. I did think it was odd that he would know what was being delivered when at the time I didn't even know what it was.

It also seemed that he was implying having issues with delivering something similar to the same address. I personally, used to have a recurring subscription order with Chewy that was delivered by FedEx but I have since had to cancel because the drivers would claim no one was home, even though we were, and I would have to go to the FedEx store and pick it up.

The next day the second part of that package was scheduled to be delivered. This time the same driver came and again was very hostile and insisted that he needed my sister's ID to deliver the package. I was surprised by this and told him I didn't have her ID because my sister was at work, his response was "then I can't give this package to you" and walked away with it. I was surprised by this because I knew that this particular package consisted of only two cell phone cases. Nothing major or expensive, it wasn't even medication or something serious, the driver was simply angry and was taking that anger out on us.

I immediately called FedEx customer service and told them about what happened. No one called me back and on Saturday I found out that the package was being returned to sender. How the driver's anger escalated so quickly I do not understood. I was never rude to him, even though he was rude to me but it seems as if he was also punishing us for having a recurring delivery. So basically I can no longer have anything delivered to my home because the driver who works our route has a problem with delivering to us especially if it's a recurring delivery. So no subscription boxes for us because he won't deliver it.

This is highly unprofessional and I don't understand how he can get away with that. I also don't think it is right for him to come across so hostile to a woman home alone. So the FedEx drivers in my neighborhood lie and say they attempt to deliver when they don’t or when they do show up they are angry if it’s a subscription box/recurring order. There are so many people out there desperate for work yet this FedEx driver is angry because he didn’t want to deliver something? How rude, unprofessional and simply crazy! Making deliveries is his job but yet he’s complaining about delivering something. How does FedEx hire these people?

False, it was never delivered! I was home all day. I looked around my house, at each door, even looked in my flower beds and bushes! Nothing. Not to mention, I have a dog that barks when there is someone at the door. Nothing. I waited until the following day, 7/21, and called FedEx customer service. Horrible! They “opened an investigation” and gave me a case number and said someone would call back after 2 hours. Never heard from them until 7/23. I missed their call, and called them back, and got the same exact run around.

I asked to be transferred to someone else, as I could barely understand the human in the other line. This other lady stated my package was “misdelivered”, really? She said the delivery driver has 48 hours to get the missing package back and to me. She said if I don’t see it by 7/25, I need to call the company I ordered the product from. Well, sure enough. It never came. I ordered an Apple Watch from Walmart online. So I called the Walmart it came from. Was on hold for 20 minutes. I hung up and called again. Same thing. Like seriously?

I finally got through to someone the third time and they directed me to the online customer service. So I chatted online with some random person about my missing package. Ugh, they tell me that I need to file a police report with my local law enforcement and submit it to a email address that was given to me via online chat. I went and filed my police report 7/26 and sent it in immediately. They have 24 hours to reply to me and get me a replacement product. So we will see how long it takes and I hope they don’t ship it via FedEx again. The FedEx driver just decide he wanted my Apple Watch that day? I shouldn’t have to go as far as the police to get my Apple Watch. I should be able to trust that it will get here. I am very disappointed. I am waiting on a package that is in a FedEx facility an hour and a half away but it isn't scheduled to be delivered for another 7 days. What? It takes a week for a package to move 90 miles?

Then there is the condition of the packages and lack of care by their delivery drivers. Several months ago, during a spring rain, their driver THREW a package with breakables and a book out into the rain, landing in a puddle in our driveway. He was literally 20 ft away from our covered porch, but he didn't want to get wet. Better my package get ruined instead apparently. Fortunately I have video surveillance and was able to get a refund for the broken items and the ruined book because it was all caught on camera.

Last week I caught the delivery driver throwing a package that was too large to fit in our mailbox on the ground next to the mailbox and half in the road. He didn't realize our road is a dead end, so when he drove back by I stopped him and asked him about the carelessness of his delivery. He said he didn't drive down gravel driveways. Seriously?! FedEx made a one time exception for me although I had used insufficient packaging, and we were able to replace our items.

    Original Review: July 20, 2018

I don't normally leave reviews, but I am extremely dissatisfied with FedEx. My husband and I moved across the country, and shipped a few boxes. One box came with all of the edges ripped and damaged, and we had three large items ruined. Our panini maker was smashed in, our ice cream freezer was cracked, and our crock pot was smashed in as well. We filed a claim with FedEx, which they denied, saying we had "insufficient packaging." When we dropped the package off, we paid extra to declare the value of the box, thinking that would insure the items inside. Had they told us that the price we paid only insured our items if we had sufficient packaging, we wouldn't have paid the extra to declare the value, or we would've packaged the box differently.

We called FedEx to ask if we could at least get the money back that we paid to declare the value of the box. They said no. The only reason they have you declare a value is to basically insure FedEx against their own mistakes. They are very unwilling to work with you, and they never respond to emails or phone calls. We hope to be able to ship through a source other than FedEx from here on out. The representative told me that "next time, I should have the store check my packaging." Thank you, but that has nothing to do with this particular problem.

I need help. FedEx is claiming that I accepted and signed for a package. I did not. I have been going back and forth with them for some days now. Here is the issue: I placed an order with Comcast. I was given a FedEx tracking number. When I looked up the tracking number, it said that my package was delivered to and signed for by me. It was not. When I called FedEx to correct them, I was called a liar, and my integrity was questioned. I was first told by their representative that my package was delivered to me on the second floor. There is no access to the second floor.

The next day, I was told by their representative that they gave my package to someone claiming to be my uncle. Today, I am told by their representative that they gave it someone claiming to be my nephew. I HAVE NO RELATIVES LIVING IN MY BUILDING! And further, if you know that I did not sign for this package, why do you say that I did??? I asked them why would they not verify the person's identity before handing over my package. I was told that they are allowed to give the package to anyone who answers the door. I argued with them, saying that they have either made a mistake, or the driver kept the package for himself and marked it as delivered.

My apartment building is a collection of close knit, elderly people, none of whom would steal their neighbor's packages. I told them that if they have a signature, it is easy to compare the signatures and see that I did not sign for it. They said that they don't have to prove anything. They denied my claim, saying that the delivery was made, that I signed for it, that I am lying. Why is FedEx allowed to give a package to anyone without verification of identity? If this is their policy, then why can't they accept that mistakes can be made? FEDEX ARE THE ONES WHO ARE LYING. I NEVER SIGNED FOR ANYTHING, AND I WANT MY PACKAGE!

There are 8 units in my clearly marked apartment building. Each unit has a doorbell/buzzer which is clearly marked with unit number. Entry into building is impossible without ringing the apartment number doorbell/buzzer. Anyone wishing entry must be buzzed in by the occupant of the apartment. I was sitting in my living room at the time that my package was supposedly delivered. There is nothing wrong with my doorbell/buzzer. There is nothing wrong with my hearing. NO ONE RANG MY DOORBELL/BUZZER. If he actually made the delivery, why is the delivery person allowed to give a package to anyone without first confirming that person's identity? I just can't understand this policy - it makes no sense, and I really don't appreciate my integrity being put into question because of a mistake made by FedEx, or theft of my package by the delivery driver, which I suspect is what happened.

I did not sign for this package. I never received this package. It is not fair that they can do this and I am helpless to do anything about it. After days of trying to find answers, I have learned that this happens often with FedEx. They seem to be untouchable in these instances. I am extremely incensed and angered by this. Would you please have something done about it? Could I file a police report against the delivery driver?

Don't use FedEx. DANGER! They are really two (2) companies and they really don't like each other. I put an express label tag on my package and left it for pickup in my building. But, FedEx GROUND picked it up and lost it. They are not capable of scanning an Express label (really!) and so Express does not know where it is and cannot find it. Eleven days and they are telling me to be patient. They told me that GROUND (a system of subcontractors) took the package and that I should drive 15 miles to the GROUND terminal to get it MYSELF (wait a minute, aren't they a pick-up and delivery company?). When I did, the GROUND people told me to "talk to the hand." "We don't got yo' stinkin' package!!" DON'T USE FEDEX.

I literally wasted my whole day waiting around for my package. I was told that my package would be here by 8pm. Unfortunately I have no doorbell in my building (which I have zero control over) so I had left a note for someone to call my phone so I know when the person got here. Around 2:30pm I get an email saying that no-one was home to get the package. Are you kidding me?!?! I wasted a whole day for someone to come to my door and then just drive off!? My whole day off was spent waiting around for nothing!

Then I call FedEx and they tell me that they aren't allowed to call from a personal phone. What now? They tell me that they will be back tomorrow anytime between 12-3pm. So I'm supposed to sit outside for those 3 hours and wait. Or I can drive 30 mins to pick it up anytime after 7pm. WTF FEDEX! Had I known it was going to be such a process to get my package, I would have just drove to Kentucky myself to pick up the product. I hate FedEx and I will go out of my way and pay extra for any other shipping company next time. This isn't the first time I've had to go to the FedEx store because these guys can't figure out an easy solution to get a hold of the resident. This is **. Now I have to wait another 5 hours to be able to pick up my package. ENTIRE ** DAY OFF WASTED! Screw you FedEx!

In late May I purchased a $850 piece of medical equipment which was shipped via FedEx overnight. Three days later it still hadn't arrived, when I received a call from some man identifying himself as being an hour away, and who started complaining about his job and his boss. I finally got him to calm down, which is when he told me he was a FedEx driver who had my equipment on his truck for days but didn't know it, at which point he went into a lengthy rant about how everyone at FedEx but him was at fault. I told him it was medical equipment and already late, but he said there was nothing he could do.

To avoid saying something rude, I hung up and called the main FedEx number, but they also said there was nothing they could do except deliver it later. The other guy then calls me back and says he's going to drive it out to me on his motorcycle "around midnight" and I said NO. The package was delivered the next day by someone else, but the machine never really worked right, possibly after being left on a hot FedEx vehicle for days. The medical supply folks were nice enough to let me return it after it proved to be too much hassle to get it to work, so I ordered a replacement, due here today.

I received notification from FedEx saying the package had been left (no signature this time?) but it wasn't on the porch and it wasn't on any neighbor's porch either. Within 5 minutes of the alleged delivery I called FedEx and they were hilariously unhelpful. She wouldn't call the local delivery outlet (I couldn't find their number to call myself) to talk to the driver, and would only put a trace on the lost package. She suggested it may have been left in some bushes, at which point I checked my neighbor's bushes, and sure enough, the package had been left five houses down in some hedges... after a long morning of rain. Fantastic.

These are neighbors with security cameras and angry dogs, too, so I'm sure they'll love seeing footage of their neighbor rooting around in their yard. (I left a note but who knows how this will play out.) What absolutely galls me is that I occasionally get a small package sent via FedEx, makeup from someplace online or whatever, and rarely a problem. Expensive important medical equipment shipped overnight and suddenly they're all Ace Ventura. I've asked the medical supply store to consider another delivery company.

Representative told me, Friday before 8pm I should expect my package. It didn't come Friday. Checked online delivery status, and said it would come Saturday by 3pm. I call customer service at 6pm. They asked me to verify my address again. The guy told me he can't understand why it hasn't been delivered yet. I just going to have to wait till Monday and tell them to leave it at a FedEx store so I can pick it up myself. When it got to be about 6 pm I called and they said by 7:25 pm. At 7:20 I called again and they said the driver was behind and it would be here by 8 pm. I called again at 8:15 pm and said they put in an “investigation;” basically telling me my package isn’t going to be delivered. I have been on the phone for over an hour trying to get this issue corrected so that it doesn't happen again. I am getting nowhere. This week is a bust for me again. I hope that in the future my efforts today will make a difference for other small business. If a delivery is promised by Friday, then put the Friday date on the internet, this is the only information that we as the end customer ever sees. Why put Thursday if it is going to set more than 24 hours at one of your locations???

On Thursday, July 11th, I received an email stating my package had arrived from FedEx at 1:48 p.m. I was home and got the notice via email. The interesting thing is my dog that always barks when someone comes up to the door, and she DID NOT BARK at this time. However, when I went outside to look on my front porch, there was NO package. I proceeded to go around my home to check outdoor stairs, side garage and even went to look on my neighbor's porches. I like to respect people’s privacy and property and don’t like to bother my neighbors since they have jobs and or families at home during the summer so I just looked on porches. Then I proceed to go online to the FEDEX live chat and had to deal with two representatives who said, “They would put a trace on the package” and wait for a rep to call back later before 5:30 p.m.

I got a call from FedEx around 5:30 p.m. stating “They would trace the driver and to track steps of delivery of my package”. At approximately 8:35 p.m. my package mysteriously is left on my doorstep with an email from FedEx stating it was left. (I knew this because my dog barked and then I checked my emails to confirm the time of 8:35 p.m.) My MAIN problem with FedEx is twofold: 1). FedEx sent me an email at 1:48 p.m. on July 11th, stating my package had ARRIVED and it DID NOT PHYSICALLY ARRIVE on my front porch, as stating in FedEx email. 2). I had to WASTE my valuable time by physically going down my street to check other neighbors' porches and time I took to deal with the QUERY of waiting and LIVE CHATTING with FEDEX reps to track down a package that wasn’t even delivered as originally stated.

Lesson learned: FedEx may send emails stating a package is delivered, but in ACTUALITY may not be on the front porch at the time designated and if you are working outside the home and DON’T have time to follow up, you may lose your packages. Some driver at FedEx is not paying attention to detail in delivering their packages a customer is promised at a specific time.

I worked from home and I'm in process of returning (heavy) equipment back to company, ex-supervisor told me FedEx guy would carry the box with them when they delivered the labels. I got home and got FedEx slip saying I missed them & the labels were at the grocery store down the street. I didn't mind taking the equipment back to the store. Just wanted to know so I could ask a friend. Anywho, I let supervisor know and she says they could re-deliver labels & pick up equipment & to call them. So I call them. First guy I had to tell the situation not one, not two, wait for it...3 whole times. I literally explained everything to him and he kept saying "the packages are at the location" to which I replied, "YES I know they are at the store, that's not what I'm asking." It got to the point where I even told him exactly what I was shipping and for who and why. Eventually, I just tell him to transfer me to someone else. He does and I wait for that for a good ten minutes.

Woman named "Jenny" answers, tell her specifically, per the slip, (I'm thinking since I must've said something wrong to the first guy) I am calling to "request another delivery attempt." & what I get is "I can get them to re-deliver tomorrow but may not be able to, and the package is at the Randall's down the street" and when I tell her part of my question, yet again, she proceeds to say "the labels they delivered today are not heavy ma'am." Oh and just for good measure, I ask Jenny if she could tell me the guys' name I was just speaking with, in a very condescending tone, she goes on a lengthy spiel about confidentiality, when all she could have said was "I'm sorry I cannot give you his information." I'm pretty irritated by now so told her, "Thanks for not helping" and hung up. This is to the 1800GOFEDEX number. I will never do business with FedEx again. Ever.

I called yesterday, and through their automated system, was told the package was on the way to the post office serving my area. There have been no updates since then and when trying to track the package all it says is no delivery date is available and it's pending. I emailed customer support yesterday and again today, but no one has cared to respond to either one. I work from home and I also have a doorbell camera not to mention I live on a small street with no outlet. I filed a claim with Sak's and told them FedEx was never on my street that day as my office window is next to front door and too, the time they said purse was delivered, I was in front yard at that time which was around 6:30pm. I received a refund from Saks but really wanted the purse so I thought I would order once again and this time I requested a signature delivery that way there wouldn't be any complications, right? Wrong!

My package was delivered at 9:33 am on the day they said it would be delivered, today July 5th. I did not sign for it nor did anyone ring doorbell. I found the package on front porch around 12:30 pm when I went to get mail. The packaging was also terrible and it made me wonder if this was the original package that was never delivered a month ago. When I cut open the top of the box, there was my receipt which should have been inside box - this is strange. Purse is in good condition but I went online to see what FedEx had to say about delivering my purse without my signature and it showed the delivery was signed by homeowner - what a lie!

I never signed for anything - if I had why would package be outside for an additional three hours! I honestly believe the delivery person is the same one that lied about delivering my purse a month ago and did not want me to see the guilty look on their face. I called FedEx and got nowhere - I believe the person I was speaking with was in India. It says online they have signature on file - if this person signed my name wouldn't that be forgery? This use to be a good company but it has hired all the wrong people. All other deliveries I receive are from UPS and I never have any problems with them.

If you want your packages dumped on the side of the road instead of at your house so that people can steal them then FedEx is the right choice for you. Not just once or twice but 3 times in a row. Calling them is a waste of time as they will claim no knowledge of anything. I now ask every merchant what shipper they use and if it is FedEx and they for any reason cannot use another company I will cancel the order and find another merchant that can use UPS or USPS. (How sad is it that the USPS outperforms your company?)

The ones that have had to replace the stolen goods have told me that this is becoming more and more common with FedEx. Take my advice and demand another shipper or not as you please, some people enjoy substandard performance I have no time for it. Even the replacement orders were done the same way which shows it has become standard practice and FedEx does not care to act differently. They cannot deny the photos.

This concern was finally escalated to a higher level and from there, my concern was taken seriously. They did eventually track down my package and was able to retrieve it and get it delivered.

    Original Review: July 5, 2018

We placed an order for two bathroom sink faucets from Lowe's. We followed the tracking on it closely since we arranged for a plumber to do the install for them. When it said that it was out for delivery, I listened all morning and afternoon, but the doorbell never rang. Imagine our surprise to see that according to the tracking, it had been DELIVERED, yet there was no package anywhere! In calling FedEx, I was shocked to find out that they were unwilling to contact the driver to find out where he actually took our package and go back and get it.

I have filed an investigation with FedEx, but it will be another few days for the results. If they had acted on this when I called (which was still during business hours), they could have contacted the driver immediately and had him locate where he took the package, since he could easily tell where he went before and after he said he was here-- the time was noted in the tracking. I would highly recommend not ever using FedEx, but instead use UPS or USPS. There is far more accountability with your packages at those two other places.

I placed an order. The FedEx site said it was delivered. Perhaps, but not to me. Somehow, their system shows my old address that was changed by the post office. It's still where I live but no package. After calling them, they would not tell me where it was delivered but after repeated calls, I was able to figure out that they were using my old address even though the shipper had my current address. Chewy, the shipper sent another order to be delivered. Meanwhile, I changed the FedEx address to current one. They still could not find it and apparently they don't know about the invention of cell phones. It is supposed to be delivered tomorrow but what if they can't find it again? People apologized all over the place but NOTHING was done to make amends or offer anything for my inconvenience. I'll choose USPS and UPS from now on. FEDEX is lousy.

I wrote the following to Fred Smith, founder and CEO. The company you created has gone to hell. It now embraces a culture of liars. Three times in the month of June, your tracking system reported that packages were delivered to me. Three times the packages were not delivered. Three times I had to contact your company. Two times, the supposedly delivered packages were delivered 4 days later. I am waiting for the alleged delivery of June 26 to get delivered. The delivery address on all packages is **. You can look up my address in your system and get the 3 tracking numbers. Correct? Once you investigate and get lied to from the people within your company, I request that the people - the driver or administration person who is now involved in deliveries to my home be removed from my deliveries. These people are not trustworthy and they lie. You should of course fire them, but that is your business.

Years ago when I was a student at the Harvard Business school, you were a hero. I recall the great case about a great company with a great leader. I am sorry that people have taken your company to **. Clearly, it is not the people who actually do the work at fault, it is the people receiving inflated salaries and stock options who do not do their jobs. By the way, while writing this email, I have been on hold at your call center for about 20 minutes - the call center which is there to help people like me. Clearly, this amount of hold time tells me that you could not give a ** about me. The vendors who employed FedEx to ship to me are receiving a copy of this.

The numbers are clearly on her house with delivery instructions below. One of the other houses has no numbers and the third one has different numbers or none also. UPS and USPS have no problem delivering to her. FedEx left note that they had left at front door. Not there. Had to have someone check since she is blind. Called FedEx and was put through the system and was told that the driver had 24-48 hours to respond and then I may need to contact company I ordered from originally. Well my grandmother needed the items so I called the company, Walmart, in the meantime and they sent a replacement package.

I never heard back from FedEx but the first package showed up. Then a few days later I get a delivered notification from FedEx for second package. I don’t know where they delivered it, but not to my grandmother. So again I have to call FedEx to have them track the package down. I have had the same issues getting deliveries from them to my house in a different part of the country. What I don’t understand is if you are a delivery driver aren’t you trained to look for house numbers? I could understand if they weren’t marked, but they are clearly marked. That package and its contents were destroyed by water damage. Our address is readily found using Google Maps and it is clearly printed on the front of the house. Every time I send him a package I get a delivery exception. The first four were because no one buzzed him into the building. Let me tell you why that is a lie; he has an electronic door lock which allows him to open the door, when buzzed, anywhere he has phone service. Not only can he open the door from anywhere he has service, but he can see who is at the door and speak with them. Therefore, the FedEx delivery person was lying, he lied five times.

Today, he didn't deliver because he said there was no apartment number on the door, my son's name is clearly on the entrance to the door, his name was on the box, and I had written, in black marker, the name, address and apartment number on the box. I do this because they lost the shipping label, which isn't a label. It is just a bag which is stuck on the box. When I called to complain, they hung up on me because I pressed them to answer whether or not their drivers could read.

Hiring drivers who are illiterate would be a problem, I never did get an answer. This driver works for FedEx and even though I have complained every, single time, he still drives for the company. I am sick and tired of them and will be switching to another delivery company in the future. Do not ship with FedEx. Their drivers are the laziest bunch of people I have ever come into contact with and it seems management won't do a thing about it. I waited all day Saturday and continued to check the text which indicated that the package was on the truck and would be delivered by the end of business on Saturday. Went to bed at 10:00 p.m., no package. My son called me on Father's Day to see if I received his package. Waited till Tuesday to call and was informed that they shouldn"t have sent me the text and they don't know what is wrong.

The text they sent keeps updating and continues to tell me that the package is in Tampa but they do not have a scheduled delivery. What kind of company treats customers this way? Based on the amount of negative reviews this company receives it looks like a smart lawyer or two could start a class action lawsuit against them. All I know is that they ruined my whole day Saturday, ruined Father's Day and at my age I'm not sure how many I have left.

Takes one day to get to my state, then sits in my state for 4 days. What the heck. I make many phone calls, each time I am told I will get my package by 8:00 that night... NOPE. After have the last several deliveries "tossed" in the yard I specifically set up delivery instructions for my package to be left on the front porch as I knew we would be out to town. While on vacation I received a text stating that my package had been left at the front door but upon arrival home the next night we located that package lying in the grass next to the driveway, in a driving rain about 50 yards from the house. This is not our front porch nor the first time this has happened. I took pictures, went directly inside and called to file a complaint. I was told that I would receive a callback w/in 2 hrs. That was 2 days ago. Still waiting.

On a Wed I ordered from Amazon a new luggage bag because that Sunday I was leaving to go away for a week. The order was expected to arrive that Friday. It didn't and I got an email that it may not be delivered until the following Mon and if I still didn't have it by Wed to call them. That was not going to work being that I was going to be away during that time and the package would sit by itself on my front porch for a whole week!

I called and got in touch with a person from the warehouse it was sitting at. He told me it might be delivered the next morning but if it wasn't I could go pick it up. He even said he put a note in the system with my order that said urgent. Gave me the address and hours. Which they close at 4 pm. I told him I couldn't get there by that time. There was no reason for them not to bring it the next day especially since it was due to be delivered the day before. It was just sitting in the warehouse. What in the world would cause them to have to deliver it 3 or 5 days later knowing it's already past due. Needless to say it did not show up Sat so I rearranged my schedule so I could get there before they close because that was my last shot of getting it or it would sit on my front porch for a whole week by itself.

This is where the story gets bad. I go there, give the woman the tracking number and she turns to go get it. A minute later she comes back and says she can't release it to me!!! I told her I talked to someone the day prior and they assured me that they might deliver it by Sat morning if not I could just go pick it up and get it. She said... "We'll see. He said 'maybe' so it was never definite." I said, "No, he said 'maybe' about it being delivered but I could definitely pick it up!" She goes in the back then comes back and says "He's going to go try to find it." I'm waiting, and waiting, and waiting.

Finally I said "Ma'am, do you know if he'll be back soon because I have to be somewhere?" She said... "Ahem... did you see him come back in here? Because I haven't so obviously he's not here yet." That's when I lost all sense of reality, and let her have It! I said it was due yesterday! It was supposed to be ready and waiting for me if it wasn't delivered today! The guy told me he even put in the system URGENT! She said, "Well I don't know anything about that so that's not my problem and if you keep yelling at me I'm going to call the police and have you leave." I laughed after she said that. A very sarcastic laugh. I didn't want to have to jump over the counter and hurt the poor excuse of a human so I went out to my car and waited. Finally a guy comes back with it. Whenever I can help it, I will never deal with FedEx again!

Like USPS, FedEx provides an expected delivery date when their services are used. Individuals generally like to know this date in order to make arrangements to be home in order to avoid theft of the item or tampering with the item. Some items delivered can be quite expensive, heat sensitive, fragile, etc. It makes sense to have someone home on the delivery date in order to avoid damaging these items.

In the past several years there has only been a handful of times I have had problems with USPS, Amazon or UPS in regard to getting the item delivered on the expected date. FedEx is the only company that has almost always been later than the estimated date. Sometimes the item is literally just sitting a few miles away from me for several days past the estimated delivery date. Personally, I will never use their service if I don't have to. I generally don't like to frustrate my customers. This is the kind of thing that makes customers more likely to return the item over slight inconveniences. I know sometimes it's cheaper, but only slightly cheaper. Sometimes it's worth paying a little more for a more reliable service.

FedEx is the worst company to do business with. First their manager can’t figure out how to refund your money. He tells you that you have to ship something because of his ineptitude. Then the package is supposed to be delivered on a Saturday but doesn’t show up until Monday afternoon. FedEx claims that Seattle had snow that March 20th. The only problem with that is there wasn’t a flake of snow anywhere near Seattle that weekend. Just another lie to cover their butt. When I get back home in New York I call FedEx and explain what happened. The person I talked to seemed very reasonable and listened to the whole story. She was very apologetic and said I would receive a refund in about 5 weeks. I should have known that that was another lie as that is the FedEx way.

Sometime later after not receiving a refund I called back to the FedEx office and was given the royal runaround. She basically told me too much time had passed and they have decided that even though their incompetence was the problem, that I wasn’t getting anything back. By the way the package they delivered was no bigger than a regular manila envelope and weighed very little. FedEx overcharged for this a total of $59 and then can’t even deliver on time. This is one terrible company who thinks they have a monopoly on the delivery service so they can overcharge, under-service, and treat their customers like crap.

Couldn't believe it, so I contacted Walmart and asked them if 200 miles in 4 days was acceptable. They tell me FedEx still has 3 more days to deliver it. I'm like wow, at that rate I will not see my tires for a month. Do not for any reason use them, can't believe they are still in business.

So, I have been having a continuing and repeated problem with FedEx for about two years. They simply can't reliably deliver packages to me and they will not call/email me about the delays- all despite my repeated attempts to get this resolved. This all started about two years ago when I received about three weeks' worth of "delivery exceptions" saying FedEx could not get a set of jack stands to my house (weather related, supposedly- but I was in and out of our roads for all of that three weeks). These issues all came to a head this week. Here's why: FedEx delivered a package to me on June 5, one of very few we actually received on time and with no issues. The order was from a company in California, I live in PA. On Saturday, June 9 (yes, four days later), I checked the FedEx tracking page for an update on a second package I ordered from the same company. The tracking page originally told me the order would be here Friday.

Now, the tracking page was telling me that there was a delivery exception...because FedEx couldn't find my house on Saturday (yes, four days after delivering the first order here). I called FedEx and then the company I ordered from. The company then called FedEx and put us all in a three way call. While on the phone listening to all of FedEx's excuses about why they repeatedly can't get my items here, I decided I am done dealing with them and I cancelled the order with the company. I requested a refund. The company gladly accepted my refund request (remember, I never got the order because FedEx couldn't find my house despite being here four days earlier). I thought that after two years of these issues, I was finally free of the FedEx problems. But, then...I had one more order coming from California, from a different company altogether. It was supposed to be here today (Tuesday, June 12).

After it didn't get here, I checked the FedEx tracking page (remember, they never call or communicate with me, despite my repeated requests for them to do so). And, of course, there is a delivery exception. This time, they said the business was closed/no one home. My wife was here all day, including at 5:03 pm when FedEx supposedly pulled in to deliver my package. They never came. I've had it with FedEx. I called their 1-800-GoFedEx number and demanded to speak with the highest ranking person they could find. I filed a long and irate complaint with that person. He told me he forwarded that complaint to the Assistant Manager and the Regional Business Manager at the Muncy, PA facility where my orders get routed to. I am now awaiting a call from one or both of those two people so I can, yet again, lodge a long and irate complaint (that undoubtedly will go nowhere).

I have also already started asking companies I order from if they ship solely with FedEx. When I am told this is the only company they ship with, I tell them of my experiences with FedEx and then inform them I am taking my business elsewhere. If enough of us do that, FedEx will have no choice but to fix all the problems they have with getting us orders, or they will go the route of all the once-monstrous-but-now-defunct businesses who couldn't read the writing on the packages (think Rexall, Circuit City, Toys R Us, Woolworth, etc. here). Go FedEx? Not me.

The FedEx delivery guy dropped the wrong package off at my door on the day of scheduled delivery. I ended up getting someone else’s package that wasn't even close to my address. I then had to spend nearly an hour calling around to different numbers and pressing different buttons on the prompts to finally get a human to talk to.

FedEx really tries to refrain from allowing you to speak to a human at almost all costs, but I finally was successful. I told the lady my issue, and after 15 minutes of being on hold, I got routed to a guy at my local FedEx distribution center. It honestly looks like it was smashed intentionally. $150 worth of food WASTED. I wrote an in depth claim report to FedEx, along with images. Well as there's one more date that's the 30th the day FedEx picked up my backpack. The seller trying to save money and I guess realising she did not charge me enough shipping sent the backpack FedEx SmartPost... Huge mistake... HUGE. FedEx SmartPost picks up the package then at some point gives it to USPS to deliver... dumb. My backpack never left Florida and is moving all over the place there. Its destination is Los Angeles where I am. So for ten days (tomorrow is ten) it's been in Florida with FedEx.

I went to the eBay community boards and began to read. Has anyone else had shipping problems with SmartPost? Has other packages been lost or delayed? Come to find out A LOT. And everytime in tracking history the tracking shows the package to go to Jacksonville, Florida if you have a package in Florida either going into or leaving from SmartPost once it's been lost or delayed sends a message to you through tracking information that your package is in Jacksonville. If your package goes to Jacksonville I guess that basically means it's lost. Here is another almost exact same story of a poor sob like me who dealt with SmartPost. Only this story is from the perspective of a seller. Please read The eBay Community Help Guidelines. (So upset, shipped via USPS FEDEX SMARTPOST, delivery delayed.) This above is name of the post you look up on eBay community boards. Monkeyhub Thrill-Seeker.

If they say it's in Jacksonville it is lost. Well stay away from FedEx at all costs. I'm having to open a case against a woman who really is not at fault to get back well over a hundred dollars and my backpack won't make it in time for my trip. It looks like the delivery date is missed by a long shot, by Wednesday next week if I do not get my package I'll go after recouping my money. All because someone wanted to save money using FedEx SmartPost and not pay a little more and ship priority mail USPS. Bye.

I had already started traveling out to get the trailer (having sent the check ahead of me), but when it arrived late, the seller called off the deal. I was working in a tight time frame and I was depending on FedEx delivering on time. When that didn't happen, I had to turn around and go back home. I paid for fuel, meals, and lodging for 3 days only to have to turn around and pay for the return journey without the travel trailer I was trying to buy. Because they delivered late, I drove around for days and spent a lot of money I wouldn't have otherwise spent. I can't count on FedEx meeting their stated delivery times for important packages.

Criminal enterprise that should not be in business. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau, the PA Attorney General, and tomorrow I will contact the Pittston Government Office and call the Pittston Police. They refuse to deliver packages. They need to be held accountable, as this is not only unethical, it is WRONG. Had a scheduled delivery today, June 7, 2018. On their site it showed at 5:07AM it was “Out for Delivery”. Then at 12:29PM, it shows “Delivery Exception No Attempt Made”.

I have contacted the Better Business Bureau numerous times, I have contacted the PA Attorney General. Tomorrow I will call the Pittston Police Department and their Government office. I believe they could be refusing delivery out of spite as I complained against them before. I did not order anything illegal. I just ordered an antenna from Walmart Dot Com. What FedEx Pittston is doing is not only unethical, but it is wrong. This company needs to be held accountable and it should not remain in business! They are a disgrace!

I have my package supposed to be deliver by 2nd June 2018. But every day in status it says "At local FedEx facility" then "On FedEx vehicle for delivery" "in transit" then next day it starts over. I am keep calling them. If I call them they says, "Call business hour." If I am calling morning they will investigate and, "You should hear back from us tomorrow." I had order the item which I wanted to give as a gift on my brother birthday on 3rd, but it's 7th now still didn't receive the item. When I asked them what if my item get damage because of this bouncing between their facility they saying, "Just contact your seller. They will reimburse you." But they not able to understand the fact that after all this you just want me to return and ask for reimburse? Birthday is gone, deal is gone. It will take a weeks for me research the item with same deal and get it deliver.

I am on a fixed income, and ordered tires for my van. I had the tracking number, and checked today that they had been delivered. The only problem with this was that they were delivered to WALMART of all places signed for. I had a friend that was going to install them for me for some of the favors I'd done for him. I called my friend to let him know, so that he could move on to the next project. No clue when the delivery was going to come in, and he's busy with his own work, so I figured it was the right thing to do. So now waiting for FedEx to deliver the tires so that I can pay a garage money I don't have, to do what my friend was going to do for free. My friend, unfortunately, moved on to an engine and transmission overhaul. So thank you very much FedEx for making my already tight budget into a sunken boat.

So FedEx was supposed to deliver my package about 2 weeks ago. Everyday on the tracking email I have I can see that they put the package on the truck and then at the end of the day there is a "delivery exception" and they don't attempt to deliver it. I have written to them twice by email with no response and I contacted the company I made the order through and they put in a complaint and I still don't have the package. I believe when I finally do hear from them that the excuse will be no one was home. Jokes on them, the place I am sending it to is constantly open with someone at the reception desk starting at 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. The doors are always open, so there's no reason why they can't deliver it. So disappointing. I would love to know what the so called exception is.

Decided to finally add my voice to all the others who have been screwed by FedEx. They have left on my porch, in the rain, during a tornado watch, a signature required $3500 piece of Audio Equipment. No apology, no explanation. Then this week they have on purpose kept back a delivery that has been in my state 2 hours away since Monday at 2 AM a delivery because it says expected delivery is Wednesday and they have sent it on purpose further away now. It could have made it here Tuesday without a problem, Monday possibly but they have delayed its delivery on purpose. They are the worst. And I have a Doctor Appointment now and may miss the delivery. They will probably just leave it even though it is a $10,000 piece of equipment that requires a signature. I will tell everyone I know to not do business with them.

I was home all day waiting for the package. I left a form with an indirect signature on the front door. The package exception claimed the business was closed or that the customer was unavailable. Nope on both counts. Not only was the package not delivered, it was delayed for an additional 3 days. They basically lied to me about the package delivery. I plan to let the company I bought from know that their customers are being played and suggest that they find a new shipping partner.

UPS put them to shame. FedEx went by my house and never stopped and said there wasn't no one home and if I wanted my package I'd have to travel to Roanoke VA if I wanted my package. After civil discourse about my attorney my package was reshipped to me. Worst company ever. I refuse to do any more business with them. Never had a problem with UPS. I've even had problems with FedEx saying my address doesn't exist.

On 5/31/2018 a FedEx truck arrived and pulled all the way to the rear of our driveway at approximately 12:30pm to deliver a package. The truck driver then backed his truck into our 2018 Nissan Altima causing damage to the rear bumper cover and shock absorption. The FedEx driver left the accident scene without contacting us. The driver has denied his responsibility even though there were two witnesses. I contacted FedEx and they have forwarded the issue to their insurance firm.

I can see from other people's posts, that we all have the same experience with FedEx. Here is mine: I am retired, so I have ample time to sit at home and wait for a scheduled delivery. After the package goes beyond the normal delivery time of day for FedEx to appear, I check their website and discover that the driver said "Customer not available or Business Closed" as his update. I waited home all day sitting in my front window and waited for the delivery. FedEx never came down the street, let alone stopped at my home. I have security cameras on the front and back of my home that record any movement around the outside.

All cars are recorded driving down the street as is all people walking. After I happen to catch hold of one of the drivers for home delivery, I was informed they were contract drivers FOR FedEx, not actual FedEx employees. All I can say is they are LIARS. Oh yeah, and about the callbacks from the station thing. It never happens. The best results I have gotten before is to call and ask to speak with a FedEx Customer Advocate, they can usually get some action.

Today my package sits for 3 days with an in-transit status to the same station with different date and time stamps. I called and asked about it. They say the HOME delivery is open and delivers Tues-Sat. That is also a crock. The freight drivers (also contract) work from the same office and they also make home deliveries. So more LIARS. I guess FedEx has gotten way too big for their britches and need to be boycotted until something is done to correct the horrendous performance problems. They need a new VENDOR for their deliveries, because the one they use now are LIARS. If someone works for me and lies, they are fired.

I'd like to begin by saying that I usually don't write reviews, but what happened with FexEx is certainly worth sharing. I package was shipped to me using FedEx home delivery. I own a business and never has any problems with either Ground and Express deliveries, but home delivery has always been a problem. Here is what happens: A driver would claim that he/she attempted to deliver a package and the business was closed. This would happen three times and the package would be shipped back.

What's interesting here is that the business is a retail store that's open every day for 10 hours and it located in a strip mall on a state highway. The business has a big sign and a neon open sign. On the last occurrence of this I have called FedEx a total of 9 times and beyond promises that the package will be delivered (it wasn't) - nothing has happened. Supervisors have horrendous accents and are otherwise incapable of helping in solving any issue. Any request for call back results in no call.

Got a notice that my package was delivered to my door. It wasn't. Drove around to all my neighbors and they didn't get it either. Called FedEx customer service and told them I went to my neighbors before calling. Then they asked me if I checked with my neighbors. It's like they aren't even listening. Told me they would call me back within two hours, they didn't. Last time they delivered to a neighbor with the same number but different street name. After a week of not hearing back from customer service I called again and the person finally told me where the box had been delivered to. They refused to pick it up and bring it to me, I had to go and get it myself. This is the worst company on the planet and I will no longer do business with anyone who does business with FedEx. They need to be investigated.

This is the third time we had problem with FedEx delivery. Basically the FedEx driver ring the bell and does not even wait 1 min for people to come and open the door. By the time you open the door you see the truck leaving. And the next delivery attempt see the same thing repeating. Unless you sit all day long on your porch you will get your package. UPS are much better as far as delivery and customer support.

I am shipping gifts for my fiance's graduation from a vendor from Texas to Honolulu, it took 12 days to get there after being told it would be there in 6 days. When I called and asked if there is any way I could pay to upgrade the service or have it delivered early there was absolutely nothing they could help me with "once it ships we cant touch it". "The World On Time"... not. Not worth it, next time I'll go with UPS or good old USPS, even they ship faster and at least know where my package is and can hold it at a location for pick up. Incredibly disappointed, luckily the vendor will re-ship me the gifts overnight and accept a return of the late ones from FedEx.
