On 3rd Oct 2019 we had couriered a valuable item of one of my client from FedEx Kalitala Road to Tegharia (intercity courier). In our receipt ** they had clearly mentioned that it will be delivered on the 5th Oct 2019 on a PRIORITY OVERNIGHT basis but unfortunately it has not been delivered till now and no status have been updated or shared with us. From 5th Oct till today we have called FedEx customer care and have spoken to a minimum of 10 executives, supervisors and managers who have yet not given us a concrete answer as to where our courier is currently or the delivery person's number.

Whenever we have asked them regarding the status after holding the phone for hours they have told us unanimously that due to Durga Puja they cannot do anything about it and it was our choice to choose them for our courier to be shipped and that they have not asked for it. They have also told us that they don't have any idea where our courier is because they have given the job to a third party vendor and that they don't have any information or contact details of them. So am I giving my courier to the topmost courier company FedEx or just a local nameless vendor?

My question to FedEx is that why have you taken the courier by PRIORITY OVERNIGHT basis and have promised a delivery by the 5th Oct? This is a real harassment and misbehaviour from their end. Neither are they telling us the status nor giving us an option for self collection from Kalitala Branch. They are forcing us to wait unendingly without handing over our valuable courier.

After reading the above issue do you feel that this is our fault to trust FedEx regarding all our official couriers sent from Happyning? How can an International courier company give an excuse of Durga pujo which has already ended on the 8th Oct as a matter of fact and not given us a chance to retrieve our courier back?

It is a shame that FedEx India has showcased such horrible service in front of our NRI clients. We regret to say that this is the last time we will take any kind of service from them. So either you give us our courier back or have the package delivered by today. YOU CANNOT HOLD SOMEBODY'S PACKAGE LIKE THIS WITHOUT THEIR CONSENT. This has to be the best experience I have ever had, ordered 11 heavy boxes. The two gentlemen Eric and Matt impressed me to the next level. They were very pleasant. They carried all the boxes up 3 flights of stairs with a smile poring sweat and all. Not to mention it was so fast. Came a week earlier than anticipated.

The CS people are like robots. They only repeat what the website tells them and this is information I can already see. There are so many times I needed assistance and have been let down by FedEx. I get constant issues when I try to use my own broker to clear shipments so then I use FedEx brokers so I can have less hassles using an non-FedEx broker, however, when I need assistance trying to find a HS code, they refuse and instead give me a incorrect government website to look it up myself. I even asked if I could be directed to speak with a broker, the CS rep refused by repeating the wrong website and ignoring me request completely. At least FedEx is consistent in their non-caring, terrible service. I will definitely be looking for a more reliable carrier/brokerage service in the future.

FedEx left a package of sheet music on my front step on a day with heavy rain. They could have placed it vertically against the door under the awning, where it would have remained dry, but they left it directly out in the open. So, the box is soggy and all the sheet music inside is damp and wavy. I called customer service and was told it will take 3-5 days to investigate this matter. What a waste of time! They are incompetent! The driver should be fired!

I used the online FedEx chat to complain about a package that should have arrived last week, but tracking says it will be another week. Tracking shows it is literally less than two hours away, but will take another week. I explained this to the online chat-rep, who ended the conversation. Same thing happened with the second person I talked to. This is unacceptable and ridiculous.

Any other company will deliver packages when they receive them, not Fed-Ex. they will hold packages for days before delivering them. I (and many others) find this unacceptable. They need to keep the package moving to destination, do not leave it sitting in a truck or warehouse for days.

Bought a product and they shipped FedEx. A huge 6 foot by 4.5 foot package was shipped but never arrived. Claimed to have delivered on Aug 27th at 10 am. I was home all day. Nothing delivered or attempted to be delivered and I had clear view of driveway, porch & front door all day! I phoned FedEx asking them to ask driver where he delivered this huge heavy package. If it was delivered to a neighbor by accident and the neighbor kept it, I wanted to know. FedEx told me that they could not give me that info "for security reasons"!!!!! Talked to supervisor who said they would look into it and was given a claim #. Nothing happened in a month! Ten email attempts and only got form email responses that addressed NOTHING I asked about but repeated lie of delivery story. Told me "case closed".

I caught the FedEx driver delivering on my street. Asked where he delivered my huge box and he said he didn't deliver that day. Asked for his supervisor's phone number. He gave me a Texas residential phone number (I am in WA state)for a "Charlie". I called "Charlie" and the guy played along and said he would find out where my package was delivered and then.... nothing. Emailed another 5 times complaining about THIS turn of events and got the same runaround form email replies that addressed nothing but said that only the shipper could file a claim.

I found on the FedEx site policies that a recipient could file a claim (to be settled with shipper). FedEx are repeatedly ignoring their stated policy. A $125.00 6 foot by 4.5 foot packaged table was just stolen from me and they refuse to do ANYTHING about it and refuse to even respond in an intelligent respectful way. Asked another driver what to do and he said; "Well, there are a lot of packages that get "miss-delivered". I now believe their driver stole my package. The company is stone walling me to cover their butts. This is beyond poor service, it is just ORGANIZED CRIMINAL ACTIVITY and nothing else.

Today we were eagerly awaiting our couch to be delivered. After being given false update from FedEx that it would be delivered early on Thursday, we patiently waited until Friday the scheduled delivery date to receive the package. There was no signature needed, and nothing at all specified needing to be home to receive the package. After running a quick errand, I received a notification the package was attempted to be delivered but since nobody was home they took it back. I immediately called customer service and the nice gentleman contacted the driver so he could come that same day to deliver again since we would be home. Again, nothing specified needing to be home for this package to get delivered, and we have received many FedEx packages simply left at our door previously. The customer service rep even added a note for the driver, so specifically instruct him to leave it at the door.

After being told the driver was coming back, we patiently waited a few more hours. I then called customer service again and a woman contacted the driver only to find out he already returned to his station and could not come back out to make the delivery. After asking her to please do something, she said he can make an "attempted" delivery tomorrow, Saturday, but this is only an attempt and not guaranteed. Even though our package did NOT require a signature, FedEx decided we can't have our couch yet. If your drivers have the authority to decide last minute a package should not be left, THEY SHOULD HAVE TO NOTIFY THE RECIPIENT that they are making this ultimate decision. Even though the package is not theirs and no longer in their care, they are in control of my products and when I get them, despite delivery dates and guaranteed shipments.

If this is how your drivers deliver, then this needs to be an open line of communication between driver and recipient. If the drivers are going to decide last minute not to deliver packages, the recipient should be notified that their shipping terms are being CHANGED. That fact that your driver can change these terms without any prior consent or notification or communication, is absolutely absurd. I was home the entire week waiting this package, and ran to the store hoping it would come because I was told this package would be delivered with or without me home. But I guess your driver liked our couch too much or they simply didn't want to bring it up a flight of stairs before their weekend. I am extremely upset with how FedEx has handled this delivery.

Delivery driver bullied a disabled customer into tears and panic. Refused to help her with her package, and took more time denigrating her than it would have taken to help her get the package inside her door. The sad thing is she had called the station the day before to ensure she'd have help with the package. Station assured her it would all be ok. It wasn't. The driver purposely spent more time running rough shot over her disability and her feelings than it would have taken to just help her. Unbelievable.

Had the worst experience with FedEx. A package was supposed to be delivered to my business on Wednesday with some parts I needed for a project we are working on Friday for a client, but instead showed up at my office on Thursday when I wasn’t there. I Contacted their customer service within the hour, trying to get them to hold it in their distribution center in Myrtle Beach for me to pick it up. I was told that the shipper has to give permission. After getting the shipper to call them and give that permission, FedEx representative informed me that the package was back at their distribution center in Florence, which is another town over an hour drive from me, and that I can drive there to pick it up or wait till the following day to receive it! I left instructions for the driver to drop off the package early in the morning between 8 am-10 am.

Today, Friday, nobody showed up, so I tracked the shipment by 11 am only to find a message that my package will be delivered on Monday instead!!! After calling FedEx customer service AGAIN and talking to a representative, she told me that my package never went out today because my business was “closed”!! I asked her where they ever got that from, if we clearly asked them yesterday to deliver the package early in the morning! Our website even clearly states our business hours and that we’re open on Friday. That was one of the lousiest excuses I’ve ever heard! I asked to speak to a supervisor and file a complaint. My call was transferred to a supervisor, whom I had to tell the whole story from the beginning. I explained to her that the excuse of “their business was closed” have been used falsely multiple times before and many of our packages were delivered on later dates than they were supposed to.

She told me she will attempt to contact the local manager and get back to me. She called me back only to repeat the same lines, which make you feel like you’re talking to a robot, saying that the drivers are all out already and if I want I can always drive to that other town or wait till Monday to receive my package! When I asked her if she was a supervisor she didn’t confirm and told me that they are all “equal” at the customer service department! I filed the complaint and asked that someone follows up with me to let me know how that is going, and she replied that their policy forbids sharing the progress of internal complain handling with customers!

I made sure to let her know that we will be taking our business elsewhere! We have paid thousands of dollars in business with FedEx, yet, their service was horrible, the deliveries weren’t on time, their customer service is awful and I would rather drive across the country and pick up my shipments than having to deal with them again.

FedEx drivers here are among the worst. Some just leave packages right inside the gate where someone can just reach from the sidewalk. That's if you're lucky enough to get it inside. They are great for making flying projectiles out of your packages. No matter if it's labeled handle with care they stand outside the fence and fling it over the fence to land on lawn, bushes sidewalk. One even made it to the roof. But what sent me over the edge was the latest driver refuses to latch the front gate. He just walks through and out again not bothering to close it. I have a small dog and if I open the front door he has a straight line to run out into the street. Why do people have gates..just for decoration? Totally unacceptable and irresponsible behavior.

Unlike UPS which deliver my packages way faster. The package is within minutes of my house and they keep moving it to other locations within the same area instead of making the delivery. The also keep moving the delivery date to a later day. So far they done it twice. What a waste of time and money. Never using FedEx again.

The third person told me there was a mistake and my package would be delivered the following day. The next night I call again and the fourth person told me the package was delivered and signed for the day before.

I requested the signature know very well my husband nor myself signed for the package and they refused and told me they would have the driver contact me the following day. Several days pass and I have missed a call from an unavailable number leaving a message apologising for the inconvenience, but no call back number. My package was over a $80 purchase and I told them I wanted them held accountable. It is impossible to get a hold of anyone worth knowledge or answers. I never go out of my way to write reviews, but this time it warrants writing one. I ordered a 25-pound bag of cat food about a week ago. As a first time customer, I did not know that I needed to indicate my buzzer number on "Address Line #2". I have never had any issues with deliveries in my building where I have not listed my buzzer number.

Apparently they tried to deliver 3 times (did not notify me at all that they attempted) - would you not attempt to call the recipient and get the buzzer information? What's the point of attempting three times without a buzzer? So I called customer service to see if what was going on and the lady proceeded to A) yell at me when I was trying to tell her that I didn't know that you had to list your buzzer number B) tell me it was my problem, and that they wouldn't attempt to deliver again C) told me I had to pick up the shipment myself and was extremely rude when I tried to reason with her. As someone who doesn't have a car, and cannot pick up a heavy shipment myself, I am EXTREMELY disappointed with the services provided by FedEx. I will not be a returning customer.

I have a problem with Fedex non-delivery. I ordered a Canon printer which was due to arrive Thursday, Sept 26. I never got any notice of a change of delivery date from Fedex. They made 2 deliveries (Sept 22 and 24) without notifying me of the schedule delivery change. I had no way of knowing about these first 2 attempts because they did not leave a sticker either time. I got a sticker notification on Tuesday, telling me that this was a third attempt for delivery...but how would I know since there was no sticker the first two times. I described the problem to customer service at Fedex and they said they would make a delivery on Wednesday because of the problem I described. The Fedex truck never came.

When I called customer service they said that the drivers had it on the truck but they removed it because it was a 4th day delivery which they refuse to do... the drivers, not customer service. When I called Customer Service about this non-delivery they said that they would deliver on Thursday. Same thing: it was on the truck for delivery, but removed by the driver because it was a 4th delivery. Customer service then filed a Case Report for expedited delivery on Saturday. Fedex drivers at Bell, CA Fedex Station refuse to make a fourth delivery despite the case number describing expediting a special delivery today, Saturday Sept 28. I am required to pick up this heavy printer from a Fedex station. I am OVER 80 years old and do not drive.

If I do not pick up the printer it will be returned to the seller and I will be required to pay for it. I really want the printer, but have no way of getting it from Fedex whose local drivers refuse to make the delivery, sticking to the 3 delivery rule. They refuse to accept responsibility about their first two delivery attempts even though I was not alerted as to those dates, and, it is even possible that they weren't even at my address because there were no stickers indicating it. The printer I ordered is fairly heavy, so maybe the Fedex drivers are not willing to carry it to my apartment even with their package delivery equipment.

FedEx is officially the worst company if you want your packages to be delivered. There’s a gate outside my condo, to which every other company can get in, except FedEx. Several times they left me a note at the gate with instructions for how I can pick up the package myself. Spoiler alert, this doesn’t work either. Yesterday I wasted a trip to a relatively far location (promptly following the instructions). Today, when they were again “unable” to deliver my package, I wasted a phone call to Fedex customer service, because it turns out I have to contact the shipper and have them contact FedEx back so that I can have the package available for pick up at a closer location. As I’m writing this review, I still don’t know what’s going on with the package that I paid a lot of money for, all I know is that there was no issue for my money to leave my bank account, but a lot of issues for my things to be delivered to my house.

Also, through the automated service, I tried to find out where to pick up my package if they held if for me. I called at least 3 times, downloaded and used the app, and wrote the deliverer a note and taped it to the front door. Very automated, and they forgot they were a service. I won't use the company again because of the delivery problems. I had to take part of a day off from work to get my package.

I have recently had yet another horrible experience with FedEx near the Shoreline in Connecticut. This experience was enough to now lead me to inquire if a company is using FedEx. If the answer is yes, and no other shipper option is available I will be taking my business elsewhere. I recently ordered a headboard from Wayfair.com. I attempted to have the item delivered to an authorized drop location (because having a full time job kind of prevents you from being home from 9-5.) The item was too large to accepted at the location and was refused. Fine. Not a problem. But let me tell you what was the problem. Customer Service representatives that are stationed in Guatemala.

So after I got off work and was free to call customer service to attempt to make arrangements to either pick up my package, or have it re-delivered I was told this was not possible. I was instructed that I would need to call the shipper and have them make said changes..so I did. I called Wayfair, let them know what I was told and asked that we work out a way (also I paid an extra $100 plus dollars guys for expedited shipping) to have the package delivered after 5 or on Saturday..

Wayfair did what was asked of them. Then I received notice from FedEx that there was an issue with delivery address. I call FedEx customer service (in Guatemala) who doesn't even have the updated information and is telling me to still call the shipper. I insisted on speaking to a state side manager at this point who states she would make arrangements for my package to be on an evening truck to be delivered by 8 pm (Yesterday Friday 13th) and that she would call me back to confirm this. I never received a call back so I called backed. Was routed through Guatemala (still had inaccurate information) asked to be transferred state side yet again...and then sought clarification on the plan.

So I waiting from 5-8 pm in the parking lot of the building I'm moving into this weekend for a FedEx delivery that never arrived. Waited until 8:15 and called customer service (Guatemala) rerouted to Texas representative, only to be told there was nothing they could do. All locations that would have information was closed. Never spoke to 1 person in CT ever. Never afforded an opportunity to pick the package up myself.

ALSO let me not forget to add that after I so patiently waited for the package on Friday 13th until 8:15. And called customer service (in Guatemala) re-explained the dilemma (before the transfer to a Texas rep). The rep in Guatemala says "Aha. I see what the issue is with the package delay. There was an air traffic control issue." Yes. Even though the package had already been refused by a spot in Ct. The audacity of the rep to tell me air traffic control was now involved. So guess what guys. I called Wayfair, explained this disgusting experience and received a refund. No more FedEx for me if I can help it.

I happened to notice something by my front gate. The package was laying in a mud puddle right inside my yard. The driver was too busy/lazy to open the gate and walk 10 feet to my front door. Instead he apparently threw it over the fence and left. It had been raining, and then rained all day, so my package sat in muddy water all day. When I opened it water poured out of the bag. I did call FedEx to complain and the customer service rep was wonderful (very apologetic & sounded appalled by what happened). I know the drivers are busy but there is no excuse for this.

It was also denied for "insufficient packaging", which is inaccurate since the items were in cutout foam as well as bubble wrap. Also, FedEx never even contacted me to get information on the package. I called FedEx to discuss the claim, since there was $100 insurance on the package, and was told that they would not speak with me since It was shipped through a rep store. They deliberately make the filing for damages claims extremely complex so as to deter people to actually try and file a claim. What's the point in paying extra to add value to my shipment if none of that matters when I'm reporting the damages your negligent drivers caused? Never use FedEx to ship something you value.

I was always impressed by Fedex’s success record and efficiency in delivering packages where they needed to go and on schedule. Clearly, it was a well-oiled precision machine. I have now seen a different side of Fedex—what happens when you throw in a monkey wrench. Quite simply, it can’t handle it. The service collapses and everything done by each and every player along the way is wrong. I also experienced a serious lack of integrity among the supervisory personnel when the matter was escalated. In summary, when Fedex is asked to do something outside its normal activity it turns into one of the worst-performing companies in the world.

My nightmare—for so it became--with Fedex lasted from the morning of August 29th to the afternoon of August 30th. By the time it finished playing out, not only was the result failure, but I felt like I had been put through what amounted to torture. Everything which every Fedex representative did was wrong, and I encountered universal ineptitude. Please bear with me, because you cannot grasp the depth of the ordeal without a description of all the individually little things they put me through—in the process of failing to do what I was requesting.

Here is the story. A package I sent to Virginia was due to be delivered in the early afternoon of August 29th. Without getting into details, it contained something that I valued highly. That same morning, however, I learned that the recipient had just left for a month’s travel (of course, she should have told me, but that is another story). Upon my calling, a Fedex representative informed me that the driver, working out of the Manassas, Virginia, station, had the box, but said he’s send a message to him to not deliver it, and it would probably reach him in time. I was pleased.

When I called back at 2:00, a woman told me the box had been delivered at 12:30. But a message had been sent to him, I said! This message, the woman answered, had been sent via an indirect route that could take up to 24 hours to reach the driver. I complained loudly—there would be no one at that house for a month!-- and she was condescending. She offered me no good options.

I called again at 4:00 and reached yet a third person. This person told me he would call the driver directly and ask him to go back to the house and pick up the package. This was interesting, because it was the first indication that a) the representative could reach the driver directly, which I’d been told was absolutely not possible and b) that the driver could be sent back the same day to retrieve it. So everything agents #1 and #2 thought they knew was wrong. And of course, speed was crucial to avoid the package being stolen. I even offered to pay extra for having the driver go back out that afternoon.

At 6:00 I called back. As the package had not been picked up, I escalated the issue to the supervisory level, to a woman named Donna. She was so nice and so sympathetic. Everything the Fedex representatives had done was indeed wrong and she was so sorry! She would get on the phone at that moment and find the driver and tell him to drive out to the house to get the package back. This should take her about half an hour. She would call me back, and if I wanted to reach her all I had to do was call the main number and ask for Donna in the Customer Advocate team. And then she disappeared. She never called me back and she never answered my messages. In the multiple calls I made that night I learned that no driver ever went back that evening.

There was no alternative to creating a new order for the package to be picked up the next day, presuming it had not already been stolen. As the driver was going to be dispatched out of the Manassas, Virginia, Fedex station, I called there at 8:00 on the next day, September 30. I gave Zack, the supervisor, all the background, and stressed the importance of the driver going there as early as possible.

Zack was so sympathetic! He was disturbed about what had happened, and promised to send out the driver to pick up the package early. He was going to call me back as soon as he had something. Well, as was the case with Donna, Zack never called me back. I tried calling him but I never managed to find him again. I talked to another manager named who said the record was indicating that the driver had gone out at some point, but it was not clear if he’d gotten a package or not. The record eventually showed that the carrier had arrived only after 12:30. So much for my pleading that he go early and Zack’s assurances.

When I called Manassas in the early afternoon, Fedex had yet one bit of torture for me. Using the tracking number I provided her, a young person informed me of what had happened, reading from the database. In a tone of authority, she said the carrier would have to return because the package had not been ready for delivery. “You mean the package was not there? That means it was stolen,“ I said. Absurdly, I had to satisfy her so that she’d transfer me to a supervisor. I had to waste time and energy going through the story and explaining that the carrier knew full well that the package’s absence meant it had been stolen. Why in God’s name were they saying the package was not ready for pickup????

Eventually I understood. Fedex’s procedure is so rigid that the driver has to check off an explanation from a specific written list. “Stolen” is not included, so he checked off “not ready.” Interestingly, this designation triggers that he is going to return twice more to see if the package is “ready” because that is what the protocol calls for, although he, I and everyone else involved understand that Fedex’s delay allowed the package to be stolen before the driver’s first trip.

That is where the situation stands now-- Fedex’s repeated ineptitude allowed my package, which contained things that were important to me, to be stolen. This is profoundly sad for me. Furthermore, the company turned the process itself into a painful personal ordeal; as long as this description has been, I’ve provided only the highlights of something that became sheer torture. Between the 29th and the 30th I talked to a good dozen representatives over many phone calls that easily consumed six or seven hours of that 24-hour period. And I still face more difficulty ahead-- the task of being reimbursed for its full value, which is sure to be protracted, deeply frustrating and probably unsuccessful.

What I have found in Fedex is a huge systemic failure when responding to anything that deviates from normal procedure. Repeatedly Fedex representatives worked on the basis of an understanding of specific rules that turned out to be incorrect in crucial ways. The first representative could have contacted the driver in time to stop the delivery; the second representative could have offered to send the driver back that very afternoon. The contents of the box could have been saved from falling in the hands of thieves.

Furthermore, the company is so rule-bound that, knowing the package was stolen, it puts down its absence to its “not being ready,” and then proceeds to carry out the protocol which this triggers. Dealing with the individual representatives is aggravating and time-consuming, because each person demands from you a complete explanation of the whole sequence of events. I remember with special vividness when I was already exhausted trying, as I described above, to convince a representative that the package’s absence was due to theft and not to the “package not being ready,” as the database said (and if the system says so, it must be true, right?).

I am even more pained, however, by the shabby personal behavior. Supervisors Donna and Zack both talked such a good game. Both commiserated with me so sympathetically and both vowed to solve the problem. Donna was going to send the carrier right back out to get the package on the 29th and call me back, and Zack was going to send the carrier out early on the 30th and call me back. Neither did what they promised and both avoided having further contact with me. It is not just unprofessional, but there was a total lack of personal integrity.

Is this what Fedex teaches them—to promise the customer whatever he wants, because in the end that customer is unable to find that supervisor again? This experience, in conclusion, has given me a peek behind the curtain. The well-oiled, precision machine is only one side of Fedex. I have glimpsed mediocrity, lack of proper training, poor judgment, and shabby personal behavior. I would say that Fedex has a lot to fix, but I have no reason to think it cares.

Not one of the 3 emails I received said "Signature Required", so I expected to find a package when I got home. Instead, I find a note to pick it up myself. Not at the closest Walgreens. No, that would've been too easy for these idiots. Instead, I have to travel extra miles. Silly me, I thought they were in the "delivery" business, not the "go pick it up yourself" business. This company misses more deliveries than they get right. It's no wonder Amazon and others have dropped them. They need new management desperately.

Two months ago, I received a text that my Brandless order was delivered. FedEx apparently delivered it to a neighbor with a similar address (long story). Last week, FedEx again sent a confirmation that my order, an expensive end table, was delivered. I knew it wasn't, as I was home all day and could see my front door from my home office. I was told I'd have to file a claim. Fortunately, before I began the process of the claim, a FedEx supervisor called to tell me the driver never delivered the item, and that he was fired, as he was reporting packages as delivered when they were not. At least they made it right, but not after a lot of aggravation.

I bought an item on 8/18/19 from Walmart.com. They shipped it via Fedex and it was supposed to arrive on 8/23/19. I checked the tracking info on that day and it said my package was on the truck and out for delivery. It wasn’t delivered. I thought maybe this delivery required a signature and that’s why they hadn’t delivered it. I called customer service the following morning and the young lady from India assured me that no signature is required and that the package would be delivered that day. I checked the tracking info again and now it said my delivery would be made by end of day 8/24/19. Believe it or not, the delivery was again not made. I called customer service again that evening to find out what was going on and I spoke to another agent in India. He opened a case because they apparently lost the package. The package being 37”x17”x7”.

It seems losing a package that size would require effort. If only they would put that kind of effort into finding it. About an hour after the case was opened, I received a call from a fedex agent here in the states. She told me she was working on my case and assured me my package would be delivered on the following Monday. She also told me she would call me again on Monday to follow up. The package was not delivered on Monday nor did I receive a follow up phone call. It’s now Tuesday morning and the tracking on my package hasn’t been updated since Saturday. It just says “no delivery date available at this time”.

I also called customer service on Monday night after the third missed delivery and spoke to a man here in the states who just couldn’t seem to care less about my issue or that no one had called me as promised. He told me he would add a note to the case that said I would be expecting a call Tuesday morning. I said thanks and he hung up without another word. I decided to write this review while I waited for the call that I know isn’t going to come. Going forward, I will never buy anything that has to be shipped via fedex. If they’re the only shipping option offered by the seller, then I’ll find another seller.

My complaint is that I have to keep calling them, they don't give me any information such as, did they speak to the driver, did he or she actually see a house number, and were they sure of the street. I have contacted customer service and was assured on several calls that it would be resolved and delivered to no avail. Today I was told that I should just reorder from the shipper who may or may not want to because they have already shipped it out twice. FedEx is returning it even though I was told by their representative that they would do a address update to have it resent to my home.

Today was the 10th call that we made regarding this package that was reshipped (2nd time) on 8/9/19. We received a call from FedEx on 8/12 stating that they could not find a house # and asked if they could give our phone # to the driver and it would be delivered on 8/13. We agreed. On 8/13, we did not receive a call and we saw on the website that it said it was undeliverable. Even though we had put a sign up to help with the delivery. My husband called the office immediately and asked if we could pick the package up at their local office but was told it had already been put on the truck to return to sender.

We requested it be returned to us again. I called again on 8/16 and was told that the address had been updated to our address and it would be reshipped to us (now in TX). I called again when the date changed from 8/19 to 8/23. This date change again on 8/23 to 8/26. Today it shows 8/27 but as stated above now being sent back to shipper and no further assistance was given other than I should reorder which I feel is unacceptable.

On Aug 13 2019, I tracked my package and it said delivered but not to my place. I phoned FedEx customer service and it was confirmed that my package went to the wrong place. A FedEx case manager left me a voicemail saying FedEx made an error but it got my package back and it is going to be delivered to you.

On Aug 15 2019, I phoned FedEx customer service to get an update or to see the status of my package and supposedly FedEx gave it to my next door neighbor. My neighbor said FedEx did not give them my package and I was back on the phone with customer service again. This time more puzzled and questions. Supposedly, the FedEx worker responsible for this was sent to my neighbor who told this worker that there is no package there. My package is missing.

I went on with customer service and asked how come my package was delivered to the wrong place, or person, twice? The FedEx worker did not leave a slip with instructions on my door, or building, and there is no name or signature from neighbor on anything. I also contacted the local FedEx branch on the Bronx, NY, and it's going to conduct an investigation on this matter and I mentioned that my building has surveillance cameras both outside and inside and the neighbor in question is part of my building management team.

Yet, what made this experience worse was the lack of communication and instructions where some FedEx staffs did not know my package was lost in the first place and it was necessary to communicate this error along the way to prevented it from happening again. But it's gone, along with my personal information: my name and address. After this investigation, as I mentioned it to the online Walmart department, I will cancel my online Walmart account where it is not safe to order anymore, where your safety and personal information is compromised.

FedEx claims to have delivered a single package that weighs 117 lbs. with contents costing over $300 to my front door yesterday evening at 7PM. Time sensitive materials. We do not live close to anyone (if someone is a delivery person and doesn't check the address then that is a big problem in and of itself), the address was correct and there is no other house with this address. My husband and I were home by that door in our living room at that time. FedEx has delivered to us several times before without issue. We have 2 dogs that let us know when anyone is even in our driveway. There is no way someone could get to the front door without our dogs having been barking for quite some time. I found the delivered status 17 minutes later.

I work from home and was there all day expecting this package. We checked everywhere. The road we live on is the only way in or out of our area and has very little traffic. You know when a delivery vehicle is on it. I own a small business and receive several packages from other companies each week. Beyond that, I have a large sign with a bench at the beginning of our sidewalk (you can't miss it, purposely in the way) asking that packages be put in, on or around the bench. For one person to bring a package that heavy to my front door involves superhuman strength going up a tall, narrow, steep staircase (the reason I have the bench and sign and partially have my front deck blocked).

Updates state it made it to the Richmond facility and was put on the truck for delivery early that morning. If the delivery person left it at a different address, that would have been a huge obvious mistake and 117 lbs. is difficult to move so you'd better be right. Since I have yet to hear from FedEx with any sort of info or update after 4 calls/chat in 18 hours, it seems more likely that driver was involved in an offense where they should be investigated. Potentially stolen and not a lost scenario. Why would someone claim to have delivered it once it got that far into the system?

I was told by the company I purchased the materials from that it's shipped with the brand and content listed on the outside. They knew what this was. It has not arrived here yet and, according to the first FedEx rep I spoke with, there is only 75 minutes left on the clock for them to call me back with information until I can escalate this elsewhere. Every FedEx person I've spoken with today has said I have to wait for the tracking team to call me to investigate. The second rep attempted to connect me with the team, but no one answered and I was told to await their call. FedEx should be concerned that one of their employees stole or was involved in handing this to someone else.

Much like everyone else in today's society of online purchasing, we've had a lot of experience with UPS, USPS and FEDEX, as well as Amazon Prime delivery. FEDEX is consistently the WORST performer time and time again. The most recent example occurred today while I awaited a package that required signature for delivery. I did all I could reasonably do to get the package delivered to me as I should expect. I signed up for text alerts from FEDEX. Their idea of text alert was "Estimated delivery by 8:00 pm". Mind you this text was sent in the morning. Nothing like a 10 hour window to narrow it down. Good job, FEDEX. Reminds me of the cable TV installers of the 1990s.

So, there I was, in my house waiting, in my kitchen, 15 feet from the front door. I get an alert on my phone that someone has approached the front door camera. By the time I stand up, go around the kitchen hall and make it to the front door, I see the FEDEX driver pulling away. I yell "HEY!!!!". The van keeps driving. Within a few minutes I get the "courtesy" text, that no one was available to accept delivery. No knock. No doorbell ring. Nothing. I even checked to make sure the doorbell rings (it does). W.... T... H...????

This isn't the first such bad experience I've had with FEDEX, either. On at least 3 other occasions, deliveries have been late, rescheduled or supposedly delivered unsuccessfully since "no one was there to receive the package". UPS has a much better track record for on-time deliveries without a doubt. Why any company would chose FEDEX as their courier service is beyond me.

If I had my choice, I would never use FedEx again, but because they do deliveries for Jeunesse which I like the products from, I don't have that choice yet. But I will make sure, that when I get the power to make that choice, that I will no longer use FedEx!!

If not for the fact that I have to place a star I would have left it as 0 stars. I ordered a package from Walgreens that was supposed to come on the August first when I had bought it on July 31st. Not I admit it got here fast. But it got here fast 3 houses down. Just this alone already dropped my review down to half and what followed left me with 0 star review. Now, I live on the outskirts of town with a solid acre of land between all of my neighbors. 3 houses down is the equivalent of more than a few blocks. Not only that, I had already walked to 8 of my neighbor's houses to see where my package was. Prior to this, I checked with FedEx for a missing package report and I quote got, "well can't you just check with all of your neighbors?" as a response and nothing else.

Incompetent. So I finally found my package three houses down. When I went to report that I found it wanted to place a customer complaint I was purposely told to first call back then they changed their answer halfway through to "I'm working on it, please wait". They basically put me on hold. However, this went on for hours so it very clear to me they were doing this on purpose so I would never be able to file the complaint.

Incompetent. The driver, who looked at our address (we also have a sign near the road that says the first number of our address on it) gave it to the house with a number that clearly states it's not our address (it's a big ** red sign at the very edge of the driveway) at the garage door instead of the front door which squarely hits you in the face when you walk up.

Incompetent. And finally, what I found is that on their official pages they purposely deleted all of the comments left by people who had a problem with their service and only left the response by the company. This was a complete red flag for me. As a consumer FedEx does not seems credible nor trustworthy. If I had looked them up beforehand I would have immediately thrown away the idea of ever using their service.

Now, here's the ironic part, the service of a company reflects the people that work there and OWN IT. As such, I will not use this service ever again or buy a product that only has FedEx as an option. For anyone who wants to use FedEx or is considering using FedEx, I'd advise you to go with a different service. Ps: I've also copied and pasted this so if this post is deleted I will automatically post it again seeing as how FedEx likes to try covering up their mistakes to seem like a credible service.

I was expecting several packages for work that required direct signature. I am signed up for FedEx delivery manager. As soon as I received email notification that FedEx had the packages, I went online and selected the 'hold at location' for the Walgreens in Black Mountain NC for each package. I did so for better delivery and to avoid the chance of missing the driver at my home. Selecting hold at Walgreens means the driver does not have to travel to a rural area, go through a gated community with narrow winding roads and 15 mph speed limit or go through local road construction. I received 2 of 3 packages. The 3rd package has been sitting at the Mills River NC facility for several days.

I contacted customer service for assistance and got nothing but improbable excuses and 'sorry for inconvenience'. Customer Service told me that placing the 'hold at location' is what has caused the delayed delivery. If it is true that placing this type of hold can cause delivery delay then consumers should be forewarned. If I had been, I would not have placed the hold for pick-up on the packages. It is very important that I get the packages on time.

The other 2 packages did not have any issue although I placed the same hold at Walgreens for pick-up on them. It has cost me several days wages and delays start of my benefits by an extra 30 days as I am not able to begin my new job without this equipment. It is not merely inconvenient, it is very costly. I still do not have my package, am not able to start work, and am told that my only recourse is to wait until someone finally puts the package on a truck for delivery as it went through the Mills River NC facility and you cannot pick-up at that location. There is simply no excuse of this inferior level of job performance. FedEx needs to either improve performance or develop workarounds so that consumers can compensate for their incompetence and receive their items.

This is the second package (FedEx Priority Overnight) in two weeks where the driver did NOT obtain a signature. I don't request a Direct Signature unless I need the signature for my records that the papers were delivered and received by someone. Both times I have checked "Direct Signature" and both times the tracking information states "Delivered - Signature Not Required." I was told by the receiving city that the sending city is incorrectly entering what is on the Airbill.

I have sent the copy by email and by fax to FedEx showing that "Direct Signature" was in fact checked. When I call Customer Service they see the same info I do when looking at the tracking report. I called to ask for a number or email to write to the local office but they would not give me ANY information. Obviously I will have to stop using their services because it is imperative that I have a signature on the receiving end. They have left me with no choice and horrible customer service. The CS agent on the phone is terribly polite and trying to help but their hands are tied. This is the fault of FedEx Corporate and not the fault of their CS Agents. I kept checking online to see updates on where my package was but they didn’t keep it updated. I had to keep calling customer service but got nowhere. I wind up re-routing the package by having it sent to the nearest FedEx because I just knew I was going to miss them. But after I did that, I realized the package was going to be too heavy to get up my stairs at home. I looked up the tracking info. and it said it was delivered and signed for but my customer was home all day and had no clue who the name/person who signed for it was. The tracking only showed the city it was delivered to, not the exact address. The ship to address was all correct. I contacted customer service to find out the exact address it was delivered to but they were completely useless and were not able to provide any additional info. other than the tracking info I already obviously had.

I kept asking for the exact address and they just said it was delivered to the ship to address. But it wasn't altho they just continued to say the same thing or when I email them pasted in the same prewritten/template like responses which didn't answer any of my questions. I felt like I was talking to a dumb robot as opposed to an actual person that cared, wanted to help and had resources to do so. They couldn't be bothered with doing any additional research or maybe contacting the driver. Such a waste. I ended up calling the local post office and to my surprise they said they had it!? And the lady there signed for it. And they will deliver it to the customer in the next day or so. Also they said this happens all the time.

Not sure if FedEx drivers would rather drop a bunch of packages off at the post office that need to be signed for to save time or what but if so customer service obviously isn't aware. My customer should have received the package that day. They had an electrician lined up which they had to then reschedule. Unacceptable & disappointing. I've seen other reviews with people saying USPS delivered their package even tho they went thru FedEx. Prob same thing. Also the reviews of people saying they were home and saw the driver drive away and their package shows delivered...but it wasn't. Well I guess it's prob at the post office. The package was a direct signature package only. However, I was looking out the front door, waiting on the driver to walk up to my porch with package in hand. I need to mention that my video surveillance system is recording the driver. The driver stops in front of my house and never gets out of vehicle. It takes him 5 minutes to look in the back of his truck, and sit back into the driver's seat, driving down the street. I figured something is weird, but I will be patient. The time stamp is 306pm.

A hour has passed and Ii know that I don't see a package on my porch, but FedEx app show package delivered at 4pm. I now panic and file an investigation. I have been on a standby and "we will call you soon" arrangement. The FedEx call center acts like they can't get in touch with their driver's GPS Unit. I say, I have him on camera, misdelivering or not delivering my package. I will gladly forward video. It is like I am talking to a deaf ear.

I waited 4 hours and called back to be sure and that representative confirmed that my package would be delivered. Now ten minutes before Ground stops delivering for the day, still no package, I call back and the representative tells me I will most definitely not see my package until Monday. I am furious, I needed this item for the weekend. Our Local FedEx driver, Julio, is scheduled to pick up our outbound shipments between 2 and 4 PM daily. Often times he shows up between 1 and 1:30, and takes the outbound parcels that are packaged for shipment at that time. Often times, our properly treated field hands are currently still weighing and packaging shipments at this time. Julio, not wanting to wait, just takes what is ready at that time and does not wait for our orders to be fulfilled. The items do not show as scanned until long after our rushing driver has left our compound. This leads me to assume he is falsely reporting that he was at our pick up location at our scheduled time.

Lately a very big, powerful and important client of ours has had shipments short 4, 7 and 12 Kilos short. This is not good for our business. With consequences reaching far beyond financial bottom lines. Rival car... companies can swoop in, stealing valuable partners and pipelines from us. If things keep continuing the way they are, so that Julio can reduce his work day ever so slightly, heads will roll. And in my line of work, that is more than just a saying. This needs to be fixed. FedEx is literally the worst! Honestly, I’d give 0 stars. I wish that was an option.

My first and only claim I ever made with FedEx and it was denied before I sent in the requested information…? According to FedEx when you ship a parcel with them it is covered with up to $100 of Insurance without having to purchase any additional insurance. This was told to me by the Rep at my Local FedEx Office. I recently sold a Denon AV Stereo Receiver, I had a similar Yamaha Stereo Box with the formed styrofoam inserts as well as additional foam blocks for added support topped off with the styrofoam popcorn fill.. This receiver was packed extremely well even by my standards. And finally secured at all seams of the box with packing tape. When the buyer received the receiver he immediately messaged me with photos showing a large dent on the right hand side of the receiver.. Because of this impact the electronic internals were now damaged as the stereo could not generate or reproduce sound.

Now whoever at FedEx who was physically handling this box must have been playing soccer with it or seeing if it could fly off a building. Had to be something drastic to cause this type of damage as the package was truly re-enforced and packed so well. I had then proceeded to file a damage claim on FedEx’s website.. I gave the required information.. Showed photos of the receiver from before and after. 4 Pictures total and then submitted the claim being very optimistic that it would get approved as this was a fully Legit claim. I will mention I have in the past had 2 claims with the USPS for damaged packages and both were approved as the process was quick and fair and refund checks were issued swiftly. At this point I was just trying to recoup half of the total sale so I could honor a full refund to the buyer who was being very patient on his end. The claim said it would take 5 to 7 business days to render a decision.

After a couple of days I got an email from FedEx requesting additional information?? Proof of value such as invoice stating the cost, photocopy of FedEx receipt, any other applicable documentation etc.. So I gathered all of the requested paperwork including 2 high res printout of the Damage/Dent. I could of faxed this info back or send it via Postal Mail.. I chose the paper mail route. I mailed this packet off to the “Cargo Claims Dept” on Monday 7/2/19. Later that evening I got a letter from FedEx DENYING my claim?? WTH…?? How could this happen as I just sent the packet 3 hours earlier in the day…? Of course there was no reason given for the denial. Just some LAME generic “Unfortunately we cannot approve your claim, yadda yadda.”

I couldn’t believe it.. How can a company as big as FedEx making millions of $$’s deny a claim which completely shows their negligence?? It left my hands and went into FedEx’s possession on June 11th from CA till it got delivered in MD on June 15th so for 5 days this box was being brutalized. I’m certain the buyer who paid his hard earned money for a Denon Stereo wanted it to be a functioning one but FedEx made certain it wasn’t.

Bottom line, is I am out $198. $145 for the stereo and whopping $53 freight charge. Not to mention the shady practices of FedEx which was completely shown here. The fact that my claim was Denied before they even received the packet with additional information in which they requested confirms their claims process is flawed. I believe FedEx deliberately denies most if not all of their claims as they probably dont get many people to challenge or give blowback. Well not only will I never use another service from FedEx ever again but I will be sharing my experience with FedEx on their social media sites as people need to know what this company is about and how they treat customers with valid claims. Case Number: **.

Three times in the last two months I have accepted FEDEX's offer to choose when my deliveries would be made. The first time my package was to be delivered on May 11 between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.; it arrived at 1:56 p.m. I missed a very important lunch with friends I hadn't seen in 20 years. The second time my package was supposed to be delivered between 5:00 and 8:00 p.m.; it was delivered at 3:56 p.m. and today the packages, and I paid for all 3 packages, were to be delivered between 5:00 and 8:00 p.m., they were delivered at 11:16 a.m. FedEx takes my money and then when they don't honor their offer for which I have email and text confirmation, it takes them up to a week to reimburse me.

FEDEX IS THE MOST DISHONEST COMPANY IN THE WORLD. As far as their Customer Service goes, if I have to hear one more "We're very sorry for your inconvenience." I will go postal! Apologies are not what I want. I want to be reimbursed for the Lyft rides to/from home that I had to take praying the whole time that the packages had not been stolen. I said that to the Customer Service person, that FEDEX should reimburse me and give me something for the aggravation they had caused; she replied that they don't do that. Their Customer Service is worthless. Let me also add that last week when I was home to receive a delivery, there was a big sign on the door telling the FEDEX delivery person that I was home and which bell to ring, he brought the box up to the door and slammed it to ground all in the direct view of my neighbor. He rang the bell and ran back to his truck and drove off.

By the time I got to the door he was gone. My neighbor told me what he had just witnessed and sure enough 15 of the cans were dented so bad they had to be thrown out and 2 cans had exploded upon impact. It was a mess. Is FEDEX going to reimburse me for the time and inconvenience of cleaning up the mess? I took pictures and Chewy.com reimbursed me for the unusable cans but that's not the point.

Also, the 3 boxes that cam 6 hours early today were supposed to be delivered on Saturday but a FEDEX Customer Service person who was obviously at a huge phone bank probably in India given his accent gave me the wrong instructions cancelling my Saturday delivery and there was no way to undo what he did. Someone told me that he probably did it on purpose because these phone bank employees hate having to listen to complaining Americans all day so they do things like this to make life as miserable for us as possible. I have already told Chewy.com that as long as they use FEDEX I cannot order from them again. That is not the mantra in my online shopping. If FEDEX is the vendor they choose for delivery, I can't shop there.

"Are you tired of receiving your packages and shipments on time and with a smile? Try FedEx! Here at FedEx, we don't value the customer in any way, shape, or form. Suppose your package falls of a fork truck skid and breaks. No problem! We'll pull that tracking off, cruise an unmarked van by your address, and sit around for 10 minutes while we wait for the GPS to click on your address, right at the very edge of where it'll register. Then we'll scan that tag, and leave you absolutely nothing but your broken dreams and a month of hassle. Are you retailer who's tired of giving refunds for lost shipments? Try FedEx!!! Here at FedEx, we'll make every effort to ensure that package never gets delivered, and when we do the "investigation" (lol) we'll rule it as the receiver's fault, so you'll never be liable for a refund ever again."

Everyone understand what's going on here? It's not rocket plumbing. They don't have to cater to the receiver because they most likely make their money through backdoor deals with major retailers. It's most likely why major retailers use FedEx as the sole shipping option, because if anything happens to your package, they don't have to give any refunds as it's ruled as delivered, and the receiver's fault they didn't recover their order.

Ordered a $50 vacuum on eBay. I was outside in my yard able to clearly my front door. I saw a van with some type of consulting company's decals on the side. Never heard of the company, it's why I can't remember exactly what it was, and have never seen that van ever before or since. While I was working on a car, I witnessed that van pull up to a neighboring house. It sat there for about 20 minutes. Then it backed up to directly in front of where my vehicle was parked on the side of the road. I was working on someone else's car at the time, just to clarify. It then sat there for another 15 minutes or so, and then pulled off. No one ever stepped outside the van. I could clearly see the driver through the windows, and I never saw him attempt to exit the van at any time.

Two days, later, I receive an email saying that my package was delivered. To my belated excitement, I figured, "Oh, their system might just be a little slow updating," so I checked my front door, and to my surprise, there was absolutely nothing on my porch. The tracking said it was left at the front door. So I called them. The customer service representative informed me that my package was indeed delivered. I in turn rebutted that it in fact had never been delivered at the time the tracking stated. I told them of the mystery van, of which I received no response. Told me an investigation is opened and that they would talk to the driver. On that very first, they told me that if my shipment had not still arrived within 48 hours, to contact the seller for a refund. That I would receive a call back shortly. On that call back, about 3 hours later, the only new information available was that Andrea would be personally handling my case.

I felt a renewed sense of optimism that my desperately needed vacuum would be located and delivered. I was sorely mistaken. Called back the next day, and there was no new info to report. I asked if they talked to the driver, and never got a straight answer. I never talked to Andrea ever again. Told me I would receive a callback by 5:00 PM that day. The phone remained silent as my suspicions grew. So I called the next day, there was still no new info and not a straight answer about the driver, was told I'd be called back by 5:00 PM again. Again, the phone did not beep. I am still in dispute. Seller said they are waiting for the results of the FedEx investigation, and then they'll be an eBay investigation. I have a good idea of how it will go.

I've ordered about 20 items this last month from various services and sellers, and have received every single one of them. The neighbors would regularly tell me about activity around my house when I'm not there, also said they never saw any FedEx truck. I'm driving to the distribution center Monday to attempt to resolve this error on FedEx's part. It didn't take me long to figure out the scam going on here, especially after reading the previous reviews here and elsewhere. The vacuum came directly from Dirt Devil and FedEx was the sole shipping option. I'd highly encourage all reviewers here to update us all on what became of their disputes.

I woke up at home this morning! I stayed home all day and watched the tracking info on my pc. I was home!!!? Please note that this package required a signature. No one used the intercom system, rang my bell or called me. No one tagged the door, and when I immediately got down to the street there was no truck in sight. I live in a multi family building with an intercom system. FedEx has never rung my bell or delivered to my door. I live here 35 years.

Each day when I arrive home I walk past numerous FedEx packages under the mailboxes in our lobby. Sometimes they have been delivered to the wrong building. Whenever I shop I request USPS or UPS. FedEx always disappoints. USPS is a federal agency, and it is a federal offense to mess with their deliveries. Signature required is when they take it to your door unless your mailman is a sweetheart and brings it and rings it for you. Our UPS guy always delivers to the door signature required or not. With both of those carriers you can pick up locally if for some reason they cannot deliver. FedEx requires you pick up at JFK airport. Good Luck with that! FedEx always disappoints???? The most recent one is when the package was scanned showing package was on the van and then at 8 pm it showed that they didn't attempt a delivery. When I called about it, I was told it was never put on the van, but it would be delivered today.

Another time, my husband ordered a large tool. The terminal manager called to ask about delivery and my husband explained our road and said an 18 wheeler could not turn around on our road. He said he would put it in a panel truck and eventually the driver called (of an 18 wheeler) and asked my husband to meet her for delivery? We were left to get a five hundred pound saw off our truck. Not sure what would have happened if we didn't own a truck. The problems go on and on. The customer service agents with FedEx are very poor in skills. They are not knowledgeable with information dissemination. I shipped a package to Africa and firstly I was not informed of the likelihood of me paying additional custom duties aside the money that was paid to FedEx. Fine, I know FedEx does not control or regulate international countries custom duties and taxes. The worst of it all was instead of the agents to apologize and take responsibility of not informing the customers on the issue, they kept reading scripts.

Moreso, even the tracking wasn't updated. When I track the package it was still showing information of 48 hours before the time. No one called the recipient or sender to inform them of the duties, issues or what amount needed to be paid. FedEx just dropped the package and that's it. I called to ask after waiting 48 hours about the custom & tax amount and no one has the information, but all they kept saying is it's not their fault. So, which means FedEx in USA is different from FedEx in all other part of the world.

It is really pathetic that FedEx that one thing from the outside glare might be a good company was a very dirty and unregulated company with low standard. Urgent package needed to be picked up at residence address on Friday and shipped overnight to client with a Monday delivery. Scheduled pickup early in the day on Friday, assured it would be picked up by 5:00 and driver would bring the shipping label. I called a few hours later to make sure the pick-up would happen, and gave my pickup confirmation number and was told the pickup had been canceled. (!!!!) I did not cancel it. I set the pick-up all over again, talking to an agent and making sure the pickup would happen. Since this was urgent, I was very nervous about whether it would be picked up on time. I spoke with the Dispatcher of the local pick-up area and he told me it would be picked up by 5:00 and driver would have the label with him. THE PICKUP DIDN'T HAPPEN.

I found out at 530 that the pickup never happened and called FedEx and they told me they would pick up on Monday. Unacceptable since package had to be in NY on Monday (pickup was in California). I had to demand a supervisor since the customer service agent only apologized and said they would pick up on Monday. Finally, I get a supervisor who told me the package would be picked up on Saturday. I asked if the driver would bring the shipping label, since the package did not have a label. He put me on hold while he talked to the local dispatcher again, and came back and told me yes the driver had the label (I verified the information/destination of the label with him and he said they would bring it with them) and pick up the package on Saturday.

I was relieved, thinking the package would actually make it on time after all. But, guess what happened on Saturday? The driver arrives to pick up the package, doesn't bring the label, knows nothing about the label, and doesn't take the package. I find out again too late to get the package picked up. I called at 3:30 local time and they said no one could pick up the package that late. Of course, I can't have any other service get out there that day either by that time. FEDEX completely blew it. Now I had to disappoint MY CUSTOMER because YOU didn't do your job.

You have two jobs: Pick Up Packages and Deliver Packages. That is supposed to be what you do. I have no idea how you could have screwed this up over and over again on a simple pickup. I can't believe I have to disappoint my customer because you completely are incapable of doing the one thing you're supposed to do: Pick up a package. I spoke with FedEx again Saturday and asked if I should really trust them a third time to pick up this package. The answer is: No. Now I have to tell my customer it will be late but will be there Tuesday. I cannot expect that FedEx can come through and actually do it. I have scheduled UPS to come out and pick up the package.

I cannot believe how bad this is. I cannot believe that you could mishandle an easy job so badly that it has impacted MY COMPANY PERFORMANCE with an important customer. I cannot believe that a company can be THIS BAD at what they are supposed to do millions of times a month: pick up and deliver packages. That's all you have to do. That's the one thing you proved incapable of doing for me. I spent about 5 hours on the phone with FedEx between Friday and Saturday to ensure this pickup happened. I did everything I could possibly do. You cost me a customer. You cost me a potential bad review that will haunt my business on social media for years to come. They adjusted the shipment charge of a lost package!!! They asked me to contact my credit card company to dispute the charge. They can't reimburse the money. NEVER EVER use FedEx again.

Express service is very expensive and I find myself needing credit way too often. I call, I go through the prompts on the phone and eventually I get to speak to a human and at least they are honest with me and cordial but there is never any resolution. I can't even file a claim right away. I have to wait for the shipment to be billed to my account first and that generally takes a week to ten days. Thinking UPS is sounding better and better.

Untrue. 1) This is not a business. 2). I am almost always home as I care for my disabled mother. And 3) the messages get sent out at 2-4 am when they are loading trucks for delivery. They obviously have not actually been to our house at 2 am to tell we are not open. I’ve called many times. I get the runaround. I’ve giving up. Unfortunately I rely on delivery since I am pretty housebound due to care of my mother. Yesterday I received a package over a week late. FedEx put a sticker on it saying customer requested delivery a week later. Not true. The package was live plants which were left in hot truck. They are dead. I cannot tell the original shippers, especially the Parker companies, to not ship via FedEx. So I’m stuck. Because FedEx does not listen and lies.

I thought it was strange also last month I ordered some medical supplies and they were sent out FedEx and to be delivered by the postal service. I think this is dumb. Because if they ship it out by FedEx you pretty much know when it will be delivered. But when they delivered by USPS you have to wait around for the mail carrier. I did google it and found out that they have what's called simple ship which is a cheaper rate when FedEx delivers it to the post office and the post office delivers it. From now on when it says how much shipping is I'm going to ask is this being delivered by FedEx or will it be delivered by USPS. Though I did find a tracking through USPS and they said by the end of the day but knowing our carrier and I'm in a senior building we don't know when that is. There's no set time that they deliver.

I work from home managing a lawn service. I ordered oils for the equipment and had them sent to me with the company name on the label. The day they were to arrive, my landlord had hired my company to do yard & tree service. While the trucks, trailers and crew were outside, all with company name covering them, we all watched the FedEx driver pass by twice. Never stopped. At the stop sign 4 doors down, I got the alert my package had been delivered-AT THE FRONT DOOR! I called immediately and was told to ask my neighbors and check my neighbors porches and finally they would look into it, call and have the package resent. The resent order, same thing. Said they delivered at front door and nothing. I have cameras everywhere. No FedEx showed up but I got the alert saying delivered.

To my surprise, a good Samaritan walking her dog came to my door. She tells me that I have a package behind my house... IN THE ALLEY! I called FedEx and demanded a supervisor. I was told that he would look into it. A week later, more supplies sent and again alerted that package was at front door, but nothing was there. So I walked down the block and around to the alley to see if yet again my package was left in the alley. While I was walking around, my neighbor was coming from the alley throwing trash and stopped me. Saying he found my very heavy and fragile package in the alley! He drove me and my package back to my house and helped carry it to my front door.

I called FedEx yet again and complained again only to get this lady on the phone who had an attitude with me because Google Maps shows my house sits near the back of the property so apparently that gives the driver permission to leave packages in the ALLEY! She was just as rude to me as the driver is by not delivering correctly. I have been at this residence for 4 years and never had an issue until April till current. I have yet to receive any call backs or follow-throughs concerning my complaints.

I unfortunately have a package being delivered today via FedEx. One can only hope that 4 phone calls to supervisors (at least that's who they said they were) will prove worth it and actually have my packages delivered to my front door. I should also mention that there are delivery instructions specifically stating to deliver to the FRONT RED DOOR using the DRIVEWAY off my STREET-NOT THE ALLEY! Fingers crossed and saying prayers.

I’m only giving Fedex one star because I have no other choice. They don’t even deserve one star. My husband and I sent some packages from D.C. to our new location (in another state). We used FedEx to deliver our important boxes due to not having enough room in our vehicle. Once we made it to our new destination we were notified that all of our boxes except two had arrived. Days later the other two boxes “arrived” to the place that we had them delivered to. One of the boxes that we were anxiously waiting for contained all of my husband books for his medical residency. You can only imagine how expensive these books were. When we opened the box that was suppose to contain his medical books we were shocked. There was not one single medical book in the box, but instead it contained many other books that weren't ours (approximately 15). There was however two items that was ours in the box.

I quickly called FedEx to let them know about this mix up, and the lady I spoke with said that she had no clue how this could of happened. She took my number and said that she would be contacting me after she made a few calls. A couple hour later we received a phone call from the same FedEx employee stating that our packaging may have been damaged, but they were still unsure as to why we were sent the wrong books. This box had all of our information on it, but the items in it did not belong to us.

I filed a complaint with FedEx and their response was extremely rude and unprofessional. I was told that we wouldn’t be getting any money back from the books that were missing which cost thousands dollars. They said as far as they were concerned it is showing that we received all of the packages that we were suppose to. In other words the employee that I originally spoke with never made note of the huge mix up. Also, when I asked about the other person's belongings they stated “throw them away”. How could they be okay getting rid of someone else's items because they are trying to hide the fact that they lost our books and don’t want to own up to it.

Here we are months later having to repurchase the books. With all of this being said I spoke with some of the most unprofessional/vile FedEx employees who not only showed no remorse, but also would not attempt to find the owner of the other books. I do not recommend this company to anyone. The employees should also have further training on how to handle these type situations, and how to communicate with the customers.

My insurance company sent me a new phone via FedEx to replace my broken phone. The shipment was supposed to arrive at my front door on May 21, 2019, by 8 pm. I received an email notification that my package had been delivered to my front door at 1:58 pm on Tuesday, May 21, 2019. When I arrived home there was no sign of my package. I also checked with my neighbors and they hadn't seen the package either. I called FedEx at 6:10 PM on May 21, 2019, to let them know that the package hadn't arrived. The FedEx representative told me that the package had been delivered to the wrong address and would be retrieved and delivered to my front door by 10:30 am on Thursday, May 23, 2019.

The package was not delivered on May 23, 2019. When I followed up with FedEx later that day, the same representative I spoke to earlier denied ever telling me that my package was delivered to the wrong address and asked me several times "why would I tell you that?" He then insisted that the package had in fact been delivered to my front door at 1:58 pm on May 21, 2019.

When I asked how the FedEx representative could prove that the package had been delivered to my front door, he said that GPS tracking put the driver at my address on May 21, 2019, at 1:58 pm and that he spoke to the driver who verbally confirmed the delivery. Instead of acknowledging that FedEx misdelivered my package, the FedEx representative backtracked and tried to blame the missing package on package thieves. He also said that I may want to start having packages delivered to my local FedEx location instead of having them delivered to my home address.

Since I never received my new phone, I called my insurance company to let them know that they'd have to file a missing item claim with FedEx. I then filed a second insurance claim so I could actually get my replacement phone. This whole process took multiple calls with FedEx and Asurion and took the better part of my workday.

This process was made even more difficult because FedEx continued to insist that the package had been delivered to my address. This created a situation where my insurance company had to try to decide whether they should trust my account of events or FedEx's. My insurance company agreed to send me a new phone via FedEx. The package was delivered to my front door at 1:41 pm on May 29, 2019. A full 8 days after I was supposed to receive the initial expedited package.

My partner was home to receive the package and signed for it. When the package was delivered, my partner spoke to the FedEx delivery man. The delivery man insisted that he delivered the initial package to our front door on May 21, 2019. He said that when he delivered the package, the front door of our apartment complex was propped open, so he slipped the package inside the door and marked the package as delivered. The delivery man then asked my partner multiple times if we "were cool with our neighbors," and implied that one of our neighbors stole my package.

For the record, I live in a small apartment complex. All tenants have lived there for 3+ years, and we've never had issues with each other. Yesterday, June 2, 2019, I received a package at my front door. It was the missing package that several FedEx representatives insisted had been delivered to my front door on May 21, 2019. The package was delivered with a note from my neighbor stating that the package had been mistakenly delivered to their home.

Throughout this entire process, FedEx representatives were consistently rude, dismissive, and deceitful. Instead of owning up to the fact that FedEx made a mistake and delivered my package to the wrong address, FedEx lied and stuck to their story that the package was delivered to my home. This put the onus on me to figure out what had actually happened, and put me at risk of having to pay the deductible for my new phone twice.

Because of FedEx's unprofessionalism and deceitfulness, I had to work without a fully functioning phone for over a week, which negatively impacted my productivity at work. I also had to spend the better part of a workday on the phone with FedEx and my insurance company. Throughout this process, FedEx caused me an undue amount of stress, cost me hours time, put my job performance at risk, made my insurance company question my credibility, and potentially cost me money. On top of all of this, FedEx attempted to cover their failure to carry out their duties by implying that my neighbors are thieves. I'm appalled at FedEx's lack of customer service, accountability, and integrity.

They shipped out replacements and opened a claim to investigate. Same thing happened with my replacement packages. I called really upset. They sent out another replacement and I changed my delivery to a pick up location down the street. I finally barely before Christmas received my packages. The first week in January I had $2700 deducted from my bank account. Apparently FedEx tried to say they delivered them. They failed to leave out that they delivered them to the WRONG ADDRESS!!!

So this week I had a package I needed overnight standard. It would be here by Friday morning. It was shipped with the wrong label. So I had to open a FedEx Business account. I was told once the FedEx driver had possession of my package the shipping label would be corrected. The minute it was scanned I called FedEx. They contacted the driver and he said he refused to find my package. They would need to fix it at the sorting location. The sorting location manager refused to find my package although they scanned it. I was then told no matter what they would find it at the loading dock at the airport. The Oakland manager as well refused to find it. My package flew 12 hours after I paid to receive it. But then it fell off the earth from there.

It would have arrived shortly before midnight Friday night. Skipped the sorting location. Then was scanned in 15 minutes after they closed. Was told by customer service who contacted the location in possession of my package that it will sit until Monday to be sorted before being sent to my pick up location. Every step along the way whoever handled my package was unwilling to do their job. I wonder what would happen if any one of them came into the hospital I worked and said they needed to wait until the next shift because their needs weren’t important. FedEx had one job and they failed epically. I will never use them again. And yes I smear their poor customer service practices all over every form of social media I have ties to. So done.

I officially know I have to find out who is delivering my products and if it is FedEx I will gladly pay more to have a different sender or order from a different company.

So I received an email this morning saying I'm getting my package today and I have to be present to provide a signature while receiving the package. I had to miss work today and was staying at home the whole day until I received an email saying that they have made a delivery attempt but apparently there was no one at home.

I am amazed that this thing could even happen. I'm guessing the driver just looked at the door to my apartment building, which is locked and decided, "Oh, so the door is locked that must mean the person is not home; and there is probably no need to call the number which is printed very clearly on the shipping label, because the door is locked."

I contacted their customer service right away, and apparently there is no way that they can call their driver, a FedEx employee I assume, which is only a few minutes away, to drive back here. And my only option would be to ask for another day off tomorrow and wait for them to make another attempt, and hope that the driver tomorrow could have some common sense to call me first. Horrible, just horrible.

Over the past 4 years, Fedex has delivered packages sent to me and my sister across the street, to the WRONG address! It has happened more than 40 times!! I've called, emailed, etc. and NOTHING gets these morons to correct the problem. My address is **Dogwood TERRACE, and they have more than 40 times, taken my package to **Dogwood PLACE. I guess there is something to be said for consistency....consistently WRONG!! Terrible delivery company. UPS and even USPS (??) are much, much better.

FedEx is continuously overcharging us based on estimated dimensional weight, and bogus fuel surcharges. They also "lost" 2 units of our products with value of over $2,000 from a sealed FedEx Pak, that then were suddenly returned to us unwrapped and destroyed (run-over by heavy equipment wheel tracks) loose in a FedEx box some 3 months later. For the past 6 months, we have continuously attempted to set-up a telephonic or in person meeting with our FedEx Representative for the Las Vegas, NV area to discuss these problems. We have been "promised" countless times that "someone" will get back to us within 48 hours and it has never happened. We find FedEx's response to our concerns wholly unacceptable in terms of both customer service and business practices.

I live in a building with 50 condos. FedEx and UPS have access codes to deliver to the units, which has worked for the 12 years I have owned my unit. About 6 weeks ago, things changed. I would get a notification that my package was delivered, but there would be no package. As I walked around the building, I would find all of the FedEx deliveries (for all people living here) in a pile on the 3rd floor (randomly by a wall) or piled in front of the mailboxes in the parking garage (not a secure area).

I called after the 2nd incident and was told that FedEx was contracting out their delivery services. But the person did reach out to that delivery company and got them to agree to stop doing that. Evidently, the driver was not happy about that, since the deliveries would be thrown against the door when I was home. Today, I got the text that a delivery attempt was made and would be attempted tomorrow. The items are refrigerated (Sun Basket) so that won’t work. Beside that point is the fact that my account allows for the items to be left in front of my door. I was home... Nobody came to my door. No door tag was left, either.

When I called FedEx customer service, I spoke to a defensive representative that gave a litany of excuses and acted like I was being unreasonable (I never got upset or raised my voice). He said that he would TRY to see if they would re-attempt, but he couldn’t guarantee that. When I asked if he could let me know one way or the other (as in... CAN they come? Or not? Because the items will be ruined). He said that they don’t provide that service - I would just have to wait to see if they come back. When I called Sun Basket, the Rep tried to switch carriers but was told they are exclusively using FedEx. Her delivery supervisor told her that FedEx was having to contract out delivery services because they had over-booked PTO and were nearing the end of their fiscal year. He said they hoped it would improve in July. I cancelled my Sun Basket service at that time. And I will no longer use FedEx.

On 5/15 I placed an order which shipped FedEx. 5/16 I placed 2 orders also from E. Coast to AZ. 1 shipped USPS here in 2 days. 1 shipped UPS here in 3 days. FedEx to arrive 5/30! 2 weeks and was the 1 I needed first. Then they didn't even bring it to my house because I'm in rural area. They left it at the post office! What's the point of not just using the postal service then? At least it would have been here in 2-3 days and not 2 weeks!
