Absolutely horrendous customer service for lost packages. Took 4 business days and 5 customer service representatives later prior to a case manager to be assigned to the shipment. No compensation or expedited services was provided for the lost shipment. Absolutely will never use Fedex again.

Package was to be shipped to SC. Tracking stated it left Georgia, went to California where it stayed a few days, then shipped back to Georgia, then I get a message saying it will arrive at least a day late due to WEATHER! The weather's fine. To go from Georgia to California and back to Georgia to get to South Carolina is ridiculous. Not happy at all.

The token was delivered to India from US, which was for personal use but along with my name the company name was also mentioned so the Fedex people were asking for IEC and GST document from the company but the company will not be providing those documents at any cost. I requested fedex for any other ways to get it shipped without those documents. Still they denied to deliver without those documents. Can anyone please suggest how to overcome this issue. It’s my kind request if anyone can help to fix this issue. Suggestions: **

I have had nothing but bad experience's with FedEx. They keep pushing back delivery dates. Bad customer service, and what really irritates me is I ordered some merchandise from a company and paid for overnight shipping, the package didn't arrive until a week later, and FedEx didn't even bother about asking me if I wanted a refund. They're a terrible shipping company and the customer service is lame also. If you can avoid them, please do. You won't regret avoiding them believe me.

I shipped an important document to Germany from the USA using FedEx International priority service a month ago. The package got lost. I had to spend several hours over the phone with FedEx to find out whether the package was lost. Their customer service is terrible. I paid $69.00 to ship the package with them. I have not got the money back yet. The interesting thing is they charged me $85.00 again two days back for the same shipment. I called their billing department and they said they charged again because the shipping charge has been adjusted because of the delivery address. This is simply ridiculous!!! They adjusted the shipment charge of a lost package!!! They asked me to contact my credit card company to dispute the charge. They can't reimburse the money. NEVER EVER use FedEx again.

I am a purchasing agent for a large retail floral company. I use FedEx often. It seems now at least weekly Fedex has a mis-sort or some bogus reason for not delivering my fresh flowers on time. Express service is very expensive and I find myself needing credit way too often. I call, I go through the prompts on the phone and eventually I get to speak to a human and at least they are honest with me and cordial but there is never any resolution. I can't even file a claim right away. I have to wait for the shipment to be billed to my account first and that generally takes a week to ten days. Thinking UPS is sounding better and better.

I received an erroneous notification today that my package, containing $250 worth of stuff in it, had been delivered. That was not the case, as I heard that FedEx had been at my apartment, but didn't even bother to buzz my door, let alone leave a door tag. Now thanks to them, I have a case number and that'll take days. Thanks for screwing up my day and order, FedEx!???

They have my package locally and refuse to let me pick it up until it’s delivered Monday. I will never do business anymore with anyone that chooses to do business with this delivery service. I think it’s a load of crap. I have to wait until Monday to get my Fitbit when it’s literally right down the road. UPS or post office would’ve delivered it today. They’re also notorious for saying it will be delivered one day and it show up later that week. I can’t wait until Fedex goes out of business. They suck!

I’ve had many problems over past 12 months from Portland Oregon FedEx. They continue to mark my packages as unable to deliver as business is closed or customer not available. Untrue. 1) This is not a business. 2). I am almost always home as I care for my disabled mother. And 3) the messages get sent out at 2-4 am when they are loading trucks for delivery. They obviously have not actually been to our house at 2 am to tell we are not open. I’ve called many times. I get the runaround. I’ve giving up. Unfortunately I rely on delivery since I am pretty housebound due to care of my mother. Yesterday I received a package over a week late. FedEx put a sticker on it saying customer requested delivery a week later. Not true. The package was live plants which were left in hot truck. They are dead. I cannot tell the original shippers, especially the Parker companies, to not ship via FedEx. So I’m stuck. Because FedEx does not listen and lies.

Last month I ordered from a catalog and it was sent out by FedEx but delivered by the postal service. I thought it was strange also last month I ordered some medical supplies and they were sent out FedEx and to be delivered by the postal service. I think this is dumb. Because if they ship it out by FedEx you pretty much know when it will be delivered. But when they delivered by USPS you have to wait around for the mail carrier. I did google it and found out that they have what's called simple ship which is a cheaper rate when FedEx delivers it to the post office and the post office delivers it. From now on when it says how much shipping is I'm going to ask is this being delivered by FedEx or will it be delivered by USPS. Though I did find a tracking through USPS and they said by the end of the day but knowing our carrier and I'm in a senior building we don't know when that is. There's no set time that they deliver.

I have no idea if I will ever get my online orders from their incompetence. Also I'm worried they're damaging my goods by infecting them with a disease or something. Didn't happen. 3rd call they finally admitted they broke the item and I needed to contact the shipper to file a claim. This is e weeks after it shipped. Company sent another one out. A week later I still haven't received the package as they have rescheduled the delivery AGAIN. I guess in e day I'll get my item.

I have now had 4 packages delivered through FedEx in the last month. All 4 have been sent to the US Post Office before being sent to my address. The one package came from only 2 states away, but took 10 days to deliver. I tracked the packed and it was less than 30 miles from my house. The package was delivered 3 days later. FedEx could have (should have) delivered it right to my door. Instead they sent it to the local post office. This took 1 day. Then the post office had to sort it. This took another day. Then the post office put it on a truck to be sent to me. This took yet another day. RIDICULOUS!!!!

I have called FedEx and put in many complaints and FedEx does do anything to fix issues. I have even caught the FedEx driver falsifying delivery dates with my security cameras. He said delivered and then would delivery another day. I have also complained about this and no resolution has come of it. FedEx is the only shipping in my area that have so many issues with. FedEx customer service is no better, they tell you lies. My favorite is it will come today and never has. I am fed up. Will stop choosing them and or buying anything that is shipped through them. I work from home managing a lawn service. I ordered oils for the equipment and had them sent to me with the company name on the label. The day they were to arrive, my landlord had hired my company to do yard & tree service. While the trucks, trailers and crew were outside, all with company name covering them, we all watched the FedEx driver pass by twice. Never stopped. At the stop sign 4 doors down, I got the alert my package had been delivered-AT THE FRONT DOOR! I called immediately and was told to ask my neighbors and check my neighbors porches and finally they would look into it, call and have the package resent. The resent order, same thing. Said they delivered at front door and nothing. I have cameras everywhere. No FedEx showed up but I got the alert saying delivered.
To my surprise, a good Samaritan walking her dog came to my door. She tells me that I have a package behind my house... IN THE ALLEY! I called FedEx and demanded a supervisor. I was told that he would look into it. A week later, more supplies sent and again alerted that package was at front door, but nothing was there. So I walked down the block and around to the alley to see if yet again my package was left in the alley. While I was walking around, my neighbor was coming from the alley throwing trash and stopped me. Saying he found my very heavy and fragile package in the alley! He drove me and my package back to my house and helped carry it to my front door.
I called FedEx yet again and complained again only to get this lady on the phone who had an attitude with me because Google Maps shows my house sits near the back of the property so apparently that gives the driver permission to leave packages in the ALLEY! She was just as rude to me as the driver is by not delivering correctly. I have been at this residence for 4 years and never had an issue until April till current. I have yet to receive any call backs or follow-throughs concerning my complaints.
I unfortunately have a package being delivered today via FedEx. One can only hope that 4 phone calls to supervisors (at least that's who they said they were) will prove worth it and actually have my packages delivered to my front door. I should also mention that there are delivery instructions specifically stating to deliver to the FRONT RED DOOR using the DRIVEWAY off my STREET-NOT THE ALLEY! Fingers crossed and saying prayers.

I’m only giving Fedex one star because I have no other choice. They don’t even deserve one star. My husband and I sent some packages from D.C. to our new location (in another state). We used FedEx to deliver our important boxes due to not having enough room in our vehicle. Once we made it to our new destination we were notified that all of our boxes except two had arrived. Days later the other two boxes “arrived” to the place that we had them delivered to. One of the boxes that we were anxiously waiting for contained all of my husband books for his medical residency. You can only imagine how expensive these books were. When we opened the box that was suppose to contain his medical books we were shocked. There was not one single medical book in the box, but instead it contained many other books that weren't ours (approximately 15). There was however two items that was ours in the box.
I quickly called FedEx to let them know about this mix up, and the lady I spoke with said that she had no clue how this could of happened. She took my number and said that she would be contacting me after she made a few calls. A couple hour later we received a phone call from the same FedEx employee stating that our packaging may have been damaged, but they were still unsure as to why we were sent the wrong books. This box had all of our information on it, but the items in it did not belong to us.
I filed a complaint with FedEx and their response was extremely rude and unprofessional. I was told that we wouldn’t be getting any money back from the books that were missing which cost thousands dollars. They said as far as they were concerned it is showing that we received all of the packages that we were suppose to. In other words the employee that I originally spoke with never made note of the huge mix up. Also, when I asked about the other person's belongings they stated “throw them away”. How could they be okay getting rid of someone else's items because they are trying to hide the fact that they lost our books and don’t want to own up to it.
Here we are months later having to repurchase the books. With all of this being said I spoke with some of the most unprofessional/vile FedEx employees who not only showed no remorse, but also would not attempt to find the owner of the other books. I do not recommend this company to anyone. The employees should also have further training on how to handle these type situations, and how to communicate with the customers.

My insurance company sent me a new phone via FedEx to replace my broken phone. The shipment was supposed to arrive at my front door on May 21, 2019, by 8 pm. I received an email notification that my package had been delivered to my front door at 1:58 pm on Tuesday, May 21, 2019. When I arrived home there was no sign of my package. I also checked with my neighbors and they hadn't seen the package either. I called FedEx at 6:10 PM on May 21, 2019, to let them know that the package hadn't arrived. The FedEx representative told me that the package had been delivered to the wrong address and would be retrieved and delivered to my front door by 10:30 am on Thursday, May 23, 2019.
The package was not delivered on May 23, 2019. When I followed up with FedEx later that day, the same representative I spoke to earlier denied ever telling me that my package was delivered to the wrong address and asked me several times "why would I tell you that?" He then insisted that the package had in fact been delivered to my front door at 1:58 pm on May 21, 2019.
When I asked how the FedEx representative could prove that the package had been delivered to my front door, he said that GPS tracking put the driver at my address on May 21, 2019, at 1:58 pm and that he spoke to the driver who verbally confirmed the delivery. Instead of acknowledging that FedEx misdelivered my package, the FedEx representative backtracked and tried to blame the missing package on package thieves. He also said that I may want to start having packages delivered to my local FedEx location instead of having them delivered to my home address.
Since I never received my new phone, I called my insurance company to let them know that they'd have to file a missing item claim with FedEx. I then filed a second insurance claim so I could actually get my replacement phone. This whole process took multiple calls with FedEx and Asurion and took the better part of my workday.
This process was made even more difficult because FedEx continued to insist that the package had been delivered to my address. This created a situation where my insurance company had to try to decide whether they should trust my account of events or FedEx's. My insurance company agreed to send me a new phone via FedEx. The package was delivered to my front door at 1:41 pm on May 29, 2019. A full 8 days after I was supposed to receive the initial expedited package.
My partner was home to receive the package and signed for it. When the package was delivered, my partner spoke to the FedEx delivery man. The delivery man insisted that he delivered the initial package to our front door on May 21, 2019. He said that when he delivered the package, the front door of our apartment complex was propped open, so he slipped the package inside the door and marked the package as delivered. The delivery man then asked my partner multiple times if we "were cool with our neighbors," and implied that one of our neighbors stole my package.
For the record, I live in a small apartment complex. All tenants have lived there for 3+ years, and we've never had issues with each other. Yesterday, June 2, 2019, I received a package at my front door. It was the missing package that several FedEx representatives insisted had been delivered to my front door on May 21, 2019. The package was delivered with a note from my neighbor stating that the package had been mistakenly delivered to their home.
Throughout this entire process, FedEx representatives were consistently rude, dismissive, and deceitful. Instead of owning up to the fact that FedEx made a mistake and delivered my package to the wrong address, FedEx lied and stuck to their story that the package was delivered to my home. This put the onus on me to figure out what had actually happened, and put me at risk of having to pay the deductible for my new phone twice.
Because of FedEx's unprofessionalism and deceitfulness, I had to work without a fully functioning phone for over a week, which negatively impacted my productivity at work. I also had to spend the better part of a workday on the phone with FedEx and my insurance company. Throughout this process, FedEx caused me an undue amount of stress, cost me hours time, put my job performance at risk, made my insurance company question my credibility, and potentially cost me money. On top of all of this, FedEx attempted to cover their failure to carry out their duties by implying that my neighbors are thieves. I'm appalled at FedEx's lack of customer service, accountability, and integrity.

The status changed from out for delivery to business closed unable to accept package despite no delivery attempt at all. At Christmas time I had $1325.00 worth of packages delivered to the wrong address. Called the company I ordered from and said I waited at home for the packages but I did not receive them. They shipped out replacements and opened a claim to investigate. Same thing happened with my replacement packages. I called really upset. They sent out another replacement and I changed my delivery to a pick up location down the street. I finally barely before Christmas received my packages. The first week in January I had $2700 deducted from my bank account. Apparently FedEx tried to say they delivered them. They failed to leave out that they delivered them to the WRONG ADDRESS!!!
So this week I had a package I needed overnight standard. It would be here by Friday morning. It was shipped with the wrong label. So I had to open a FedEx Business account. I was told once the FedEx driver had possession of my package the shipping label would be corrected. The minute it was scanned I called FedEx. They contacted the driver and he said he refused to find my package. They would need to fix it at the sorting location. The sorting location manager refused to find my package although they scanned it. I was then told no matter what they would find it at the loading dock at the airport. The Oakland manager as well refused to find it. My package flew 12 hours after I paid to receive it. But then it fell off the earth from there.
It would have arrived shortly before midnight Friday night. Skipped the sorting location. Then was scanned in 15 minutes after they closed. Was told by customer service who contacted the location in possession of my package that it will sit until Monday to be sorted before being sent to my pick up location. Every step along the way whoever handled my package was unwilling to do their job. I wonder what would happen if any one of them came into the hospital I worked and said they needed to wait until the next shift because their needs weren’t important. FedEx had one job and they failed epically. I will never use them again. And yes I smear their poor customer service practices all over every form of social media I have ties to. So done.

The package left the factory 3 hours from my house the night before and ended up at the distribution center at 2AM this morning - leaving at 4AM. It sat on the truck for 12 HOURS and barely traveled an HOUR!! WHAT HAPPENED?! FedEx never notified me of any change and the tracking only changed at 8PM tonight!
This is pure insanity! FedEx is completely irresponsible for not informing their customers of delays in a timely manner. Imagine if that delivery was time-sensitive and my business depended on it! I was promised the day before on Thursday (since it wasn’t delivered) it would be on Friday and again promised on Friday it would be delivered by 8pm. I was waiting for two hours outside before and after my apartment lobby closed for the day. The truck never came. At 7:08 I got an update from tracking saying the driver tried to deliver the package but no one was there to receive it. The truck driver LIED. I called in after receiving the notice and nobody would do anything about it. All I got was it will be delivered on MONDAY! They said there was no way to contact the driver. Again, they LIED to me. Every driver is equipped with the ability to receive a message. When asked to speak with a supervisor I got a customer advocate which did absolutely nothing.
I’m so enraged, this is absolutely unacceptable. No accountability to the driver and apparently lying to customers is what they do and have no problem doing it. Other residences in this complex say they have been dealing with this forever. The evening driver never shows and says he/she does. On Monday the customer advocate said she would connect me with corporate which won’t help me at all. I had to miss a trip to New York this morning because I didn’t have the equipment I ordered. Runaround and lying to customers is what is the norm for this company because what is my other option? I already paid for my service. It was like dealing with a crappy Chinese company overseas where nothing gets done. There have been complaints filed for this truck driver apparently by residence but nothing gets done. IF YOU CARE ABOUT A TIMELY DELIVERY DO NOT USE FEDEX. So frustrating and annoying, not to mention disappointing.

Once it was a car seat and I had to stay home because I was supposed to receive 2 day shipping no signature required. The person who delivered stated no one was home to sign. I explained to her she could have left it at my rent office if she didn’t feel comfortable leaving the package at my door. The young lady cursed at me and said, "You won’t get your package messing with me." I was able to speak to someone at the center not the 800 number. Now today, I was supposed to receive a large package. I received a text stating the package was delivered at 11:15 am. I took off work to stay home to ensure I received the package. NO ONE knocked on the door.
I did see a FedEx truck however they went to another building. I checked the rent office and I also checked the other side of my complex. I don’t understand why my package isn’t here. I would be really messed up if it was a life saving medication in that box and I had to abide by FedEx and waited 4 days and then contacted the sender to see if they will even consider replacing the product. You guys need to hold your drivers accountable because this is a public service and I appreciate it, however I don’t appreciate not being able to receive my purchased products. I officially know I have to find out who is delivering my products and if it is FedEx I will gladly pay more to have a different sender or order from a different company.

So I received an email this morning saying I'm getting my package today and I have to be present to provide a signature while receiving the package. I had to miss work today and was staying at home the whole day until I received an email saying that they have made a delivery attempt but apparently there was no one at home.
I am amazed that this thing could even happen. I'm guessing the driver just looked at the door to my apartment building, which is locked and decided, "Oh, so the door is locked that must mean the person is not home; and there is probably no need to call the number which is printed very clearly on the shipping label, because the door is locked."
I contacted their customer service right away, and apparently there is no way that they can call their driver, a FedEx employee I assume, which is only a few minutes away, to drive back here. And my only option would be to ask for another day off tomorrow and wait for them to make another attempt, and hope that the driver tomorrow could have some common sense to call me first. Horrible, just horrible.

FedEx is continuously overcharging us based on estimated dimensional weight, and bogus fuel surcharges. They also "lost" 2 units of our products with value of over $2,000 from a sealed FedEx Pak, that then were suddenly returned to us unwrapped and destroyed (run-over by heavy equipment wheel tracks) loose in a FedEx box some 3 months later. For the past 6 months, we have continuously attempted to set-up a telephonic or in person meeting with our FedEx Representative for the Las Vegas, NV area to discuss these problems. We have been "promised" countless times that "someone" will get back to us within 48 hours and it has never happened. We find FedEx's response to our concerns wholly unacceptable in terms of both customer service and business practices.

I live in a building with 50 condos. FedEx and UPS have access codes to deliver to the units, which has worked for the 12 years I have owned my unit. About 6 weeks ago, things changed. I would get a notification that my package was delivered, but there would be no package. As I walked around the building, I would find all of the FedEx deliveries (for all people living here) in a pile on the 3rd floor (randomly by a wall) or piled in front of the mailboxes in the parking garage (not a secure area).
I called after the 2nd incident and was told that FedEx was contracting out their delivery services. But the person did reach out to that delivery company and got them to agree to stop doing that. Evidently, the driver was not happy about that, since the deliveries would be thrown against the door when I was home. Today, I got the text that a delivery attempt was made and would be attempted tomorrow. The items are refrigerated (Sun Basket) so that won’t work. Beside that point is the fact that my account allows for the items to be left in front of my door. I was home... Nobody came to my door. No door tag was left, either.
When I called FedEx customer service, I spoke to a defensive representative that gave a litany of excuses and acted like I was being unreasonable (I never got upset or raised my voice). He said that he would TRY to see if they would re-attempt, but he couldn’t guarantee that. When I asked if he could let me know one way or the other (as in... CAN they come? Or not? Because the items will be ruined). He said that they don’t provide that service - I would just have to wait to see if they come back. When I called Sun Basket, the Rep tried to switch carriers but was told they are exclusively using FedEx. Her delivery supervisor told her that FedEx was having to contract out delivery services because they had over-booked PTO and were nearing the end of their fiscal year. He said they hoped it would improve in July. I cancelled my Sun Basket service at that time. And I will no longer use FedEx.

I called to complain and I was told that it isn’t required for the delivery person to put the package on the porch. Ordered wine from a well known vineyard in California. Received a shipping confirmation notice and tracking number from FedEx the day the package was picked up by FedEx and an email with a delivery date of 5/16/2019. This is important because the package needed to be signed for in order to be delivered. Using the FedEx website we tracked the package to the local FedEx facility in Londonderry NH where it arrived on 5/16/2019 at 4:50am. According to the FedEx website it was put on a "FedEx vehicle for delivery" at 4:56am on 5/16/2019, and would be delivered by 8:00pm that evening according to the delivery notice we received from FedEx.
After waiting all day for the delivery NOTHING ARRIVED! Additionally there was no updated information received from FedEx as to where the package was and why it was not delivered. On 5/17/2019 we placed multiple calls to FedEx and the vineyard to try to find out where the package was and when it would be delivered, however, despite the fact the FedEx website showed the package was again placed on a FedEx vehicle for delivery no one at FedEx could tell us where the package was or when it would be delivered. During one call a FedEx representative told us "when packages are delivered is up to the driver", there is no guarantee as to what date a package will arrive despite what FedEx has falsely led consumers to believe!
Furthermore given the three calls we made directly to FedEx customer service, and the calls the vineyard made to their FedEx representative, all resulted in different stories as to what happened, either we were purposely deceived as to the reason we could not find out the status of delivery or FedEx's own systems of tracking and monitoring packages is simply non-existent or woefully inadequate for a reputable logistics business. Consumers need to be aware you are at the mercy of FedEx when expecting packages and that the FedEx tracking systems are not accurate or adequate to guarantee delivery.

I have a 3pm flight, I've called and made numerous complaints. I even called within 2 minutes of him pulling off to have him circle back around. The operators stated he was still in the area and they'd reach out to his manager/or dispatch. His manager called me almost an hour or two later stating she couldn't get ahold of him. Wow, how can you not get ahold of your own employees? I'm extremely upset, and I have missed out on pay because of this, and this is interfering with my flight arrangements. I received NO phone calls or indications that the driver has arrived and is trying to deliver.
Do I literally have to wait at the front door all morning to see the truck pull up? What is the point of notifications? This has happened so many times that I will NEVER recommend or choose FedEx. Now I have to arrange with work to stay home AGAIN so they can "attempt" to deliver the package at the same time tomorrow. We live in an underdeveloped (narrow dirt road) gated community (3 houses). One of the FedEx drivers drove a semi tractor-trailer through our security gate to make a delivery at one of the homes. After making the delivery the truck returned to the security gate to exit the property. Evidently, while the truck was waiting to drive onto the main road the gate began to close. The gate closed on the trailer; the truck continued to move forward, the gate was pulled off the hinges and bent in areas.
The road is not designed to carry the weight or size of a tractor-trailer. A call was made to the local FedEx with the information. The information was forwarded to an external vendor to handle the issue. The adjuster requested two quotes to have the gate repaired. After sending the quotes we called the adjuster several times with no response. In order to receive a callback, it was necessary to call the corporate office of FedEx to receive a response from the adjuster. The response was the claim had been denied. It is unclear why the adjuster would request a couple of estimates if the claim was going to be denied. This took over five months for anyone to respond to our calls and email. In an attempt to receive an appropriate response I called FedEx corporate line. They suggested getting a lawyer as there was nothing FedEx could do to resolve the issue.
My suggestion is not to use FedEx in the future due to lack of response to issues of poor judgment. Basically, the customer is at the mercy of the driver's ability to make decisions. In the past, I had confidence in the FedEx drivers. Now I realize you are lucky if you always have an experienced driver. Because you have no guarantee you will receive good service.

The latest issue is just so far out there I have to say something. I originally had a package scheduled for delivery on Friday (5-10-19), but it ended up being delayed until today (5-13-19). It's been cloudy/drizzling on and off. Nothing serious. Yet my package has been delayed again because of a weather exception because it's drizzling lightly. Really?
I run an online store as side income and personally made my way out to get four packages shipped for customers, other than it not being BBQ weather the roads are perfectly fine for driving a delivery route or whatever business you need to conduct. Really poor service, I absolutely hate it when a store doesn't offer options other than FedEx because I'd seriously never use them if given the choice. USPS, DHL, UPS, Amazon all do a better job delivering to my house. I'd rather take any of those as an option even if I had to pay extra over dealing with FedEx. 14 years and FedEx is still just the same. It's a wonder to me how they keep business since the internet is flooded with people experiencing the same issues.

As an alternative, I have to pick up my packages at my local FedEx store, and every time I’ve gone to pick up, the workers have the WORST customer service. No one greets me, despite the helpdesk being 5 feet away from the entrance; and if there’s a customer with a long order/task, I’m not informed of how long my wait may be, I’m simply ignored. There are two people at this store and I understand that a rush can be overwhelming, but both people don’t need to be working on one customer especially when the customers behind them have relatively quick tasks (ie dropping off a pre-process package, picking up business cards, picking up packages, etc).
I ended up waiting 20 minutes to pick up a small package because the customer before me was arguing about the fact that the store ran out of bubble wrap and that there will be liability issues if the employees were to sell said customer bubble wrap from the back. When I was finally granted attention, the employee asked for my name. I responded with my first name only and they looked at me confused, and proceeded to say “(my first name) is that your whole name?”, granted it was a simple misunderstanding, BUT I LITERALLY POINTED MY ID TO THE EMPLOYEE WHEN THEY ASKED ME MY NAME, they could’ve looked or even borrowed my ID so they can go find my package. Anyways, I’m pretty flippin FedUP with FedEx. :)

Lies! I would give them no stars if it would allow it. I ordered a gift for someone and the store sent it by FedEx. Well it never arrived and then I called the store and they sent a repeat shipment. FedEx said that they attempted delivery 4 times. Well I have 6 cameras positioned around our house plus an alarm on the driveway. Not one camera showed any truck in my driveway. They lied every single day saying that no one was home. My husband is retired and is home every day. I called customer service, 2 hour waste of time. I called the store and they filed a complaint and I tried to file a complaint as well, but they would not accept it. Never met so many rude customer service people - Heidi, Lonnie, Melanie, Francesco, Lisa, Kevin, Elena and the beat goes on....Still do not have my package, the store is refunding my money.

I shipped a firearm to Buds Gun Shop for a trade. FedEx stated their policy requires firearms to be shipped next day air, on a 6lb package from Iowa to Kentucky. That was $70 after fees and taxes. Instead of paying $70, I went to a smaller FedEx store which was only capable of shipping 2 day and the policy magically changed along with the price, it was just over $32 to ship it 2 day shipping. Buds, a high volume dealer, was able to send the firearm trade back to me via FedEx ground service and the rep stated it was $7 for shipping fully insured. FedEx claims their next day air requirement is both law and company policy.... I say they're just out to screw the little guy. I've learned my lesson FedEx, you have my $32 but you'll never see my business again. I hope others can learn from my mistake.

I work from home 8am-5:30pm every day and no one has come to my door. When I called their customer service line to see what was going on I got, "I am sorry. We have tried 3 times. You have to come and pick it up at the main shipping location," in which is 35 min away. I called the place in which I ordered the gift from and they were nice and reshipped the gift to me. Lo and behold the same things is happening. I have confirmed my address is correct it is. I finally made the choice for it to be shipped to a local Walgreens and I will go pick it up. We have a small home-based business requiring faithful mailing and receipt of small packages. Our distributors normally use UPS and we've never had a problem with this service. But every time a company mails us a document via FedEx with a required signature, we fail to get the document/package or get it very late. Every. Time.
Yesterday FedEx tried to deliver a package at our house. One of us stayed home the entire day to receive the package. There was a commotion behind our house that required us to step out of our home for fifteen minutes. Of course, that's when FedEx tried to make their delivery. Calling FedEx, we arranged for them to deliver the time-sensitive package the following business day (today). We set up notifications on our phone so we would be certain to get the package that we absolutely need by end of business today.
FedEx SMS-notified us that our package was ready to be picked up. We left work, drove to the business we'd chosen & FedEx agreed to deliver the package too... only to learn nothing was there. After waiting on hold more than 20 minutes to speak with a FedEx rep, we learned someone had "coded" our online delivery choice wrong and the package was being held for us at a FedEx regional office nearly TWO HOURS AWAY. And that the best FedEx can do is deliver the package to the correct business pick-up location MONDAY. So we've missed our deadline. Whenever a business lets us know they're sending a critical package via FedEx, we cringe. Because we're already anticipating yet another problem getting the package.

American Express did not honor these transactions and sent me a text message to call them which I did. Now to get to the part where they were sending me a new card thru Fedex, (which they said was delivered on time), the only thing was I never got it and after calling Fedex and getting all kind of excuses as to what they can and did do which did not get me my credit card. MY mailbox is a half mile from my house and they said they left it by my mailbox' but it was not there.
The next day when I went to get my mail guess what was in my mailbox? The Fedex package. This is totally against the law but they don"t care. I called them again today and talked to another foreigner and asked him where he was located and after telling me he could not tell me he finally said he was in Tennessee and I asked him if he knew where West Virginia was and he said it was on the west side of the country. You can't make this sort of thing up. If I had my way they would be out of business. I have nothing but bad experiences with Fedex.

So, let me tell you about my current experience with FEDEX. Yesterday (5/1) at 10:30ish we called in a FEDEX EXPRESS pickup, confirmation #s ** & **. A little after 4pm we called to see what the hold up was and we were told the truck broke down and another truck had been dispatched and should arrive in 10 - 15 minutes. We closed our shop at 6:30pm and still no driver and too late to get to a FEDEX location for a drop off. This morning we have called not once but 4 times and got four different stories and a bucket load of rude representatives. The first call we were told the driver showed up and no one was at our location at 4:30...untrue.
The second call we were told the pickup had been rescheduled and that we were notified... Untrue. The third call the representative transferred us to Ground and then we got transferred back to the 800# and the call timed out, a recording reported that the call was unable to complete. (Same as being hung up on.) Fourth call we spoke with a rep that continued to talk over us and not listen, this guy would ask questions and keep on talking. Tried to tell us there was a distribution center machine malfunction... Had absolutely NOTHING to do with pickups. Then we called our outside service rep, like that would do any good... I have never had a return phone call from her. Today FEDEX totally and completely has missed the mark.

They get 1 star because I can't give any less than that. I had ordered a new patrol bag and FedEx was my only shipping option. Already unhappy about that because I know their reputation in my area, but it was my only choice. I live downtown in a college town. We have private entrances at my complex as well as a traditional lobby entrance. At every private door, is a very obvious sign that tells delivery drivers to not leave packages on the front porches, and instead take them to the business center. FedEx is notorious for ignoring these signs. Sure enough, within two hours of my mlm package being delivered, it was stolen off of my porch.
When I called FedEx, they told me to go around and ask my neighbors if they took my package. Beyond that, I should have gone on their website and taken (what the rep said was a lengthy process) the time to sign up for some package manager, to stop them from leaving packages on the porch. Absolutely no accountability for ignoring obvious signage, or using basic common sense. Luckily I had made my purchase through a great company and they replaced the item, but I still have to ship via FedEx. I have a friend who let me use his private address, but this is just ridiculous. If the choice is ever there, I'd pay triple shipping just to use anyone other than FedEx. Just the worst.

I spent a total of 5 hours on the phone and I make about $70.00 per hour at my job. That's 5 hours of productive time wasted with a company that can't even resolve their own problem. I have a home based business and recently received a large shipment of 8 pallets to my residence. The shipper assured me that FedEx Ground would contact me the day before delivery to ensure I was home to receive the 8 pallets. They did not contact me so they arrived when I was out of state. This initial dealing with customer service was really bad. They were threatening to charge me to reship even though they did not follow the shipper's instructions. 2nd interaction was when they did come to deliver the pallets to my residence, they were hostile that I did not have a forklift! The customer service rep this time actually yelled at me that most homes do have a forklift which is laughable. Now I received an invoice for $55 for them having to have a truck with a liftgate since I didn't have a forklift.
I tried to call them to get the charges reversed today and the customer service rep said I was "dumb" and hung up on me. She stated they are not charging me but would not send me any evidence that the invoice has been reversed and said since I didn't pay I can't get a credit. I have NEVER had a series of unprofessional interactions with one company. I might let it go if one customer service rep is rude, but every single time I had to interact with anyone at FedEx for this shipment it was unbelievable. FedEx needs to evaluate who they have working with the public and their customers, because their image in my eyes is forever ruined and I will never use this company for shipping again - whether it be a large shipment or small package. Living on an exposed corner and being at work all day I have asked all the usual delivery services, NOT to leave packages if no one is home, and leave a delivery notice so I can pick up. All of the delivery services complied immediately -- except FedEx. They continued to leave packages sitting on my doorstep all day, even after I phoned to complain that some had been damaged by the weather, and some had been stolen.
Adding insult to injury, I've sometimes found FedEx deliveries sitting on the doorstep \when I've been home all day\ -- the driver never bothered to knock; just dumped the package and took off. Finally, I posted a sign on my door -- 2"-high red-letters -- explicitly requesting drivers to KNOCK, and if no answer, to leave a delivery notice and NOT the package. This past December I returned home one day to find a FedEx door tag stuck to the door. "Great," I thought; "they finally get it!"
Unfortunately, the FedEx driver failed to put an ADDRESS on the tag, so I had no idea at which of the dozen or so local FedEx offices my package was being held. So I called FedEx, took the usual 10+ minutes to get through their robot phone system to an actual human being. And he was unable to locate my door tag or tracking number in their system. After working through two levels of "supervisors", and half-hour on the phone, I was told "your package MIGHT be at this location," and given an address in the industrial part of town. Next day, I went to that street, but found no FedEx office, and not even the block that the address should have been in -- that part of the street ended in the railroad yard.
So, I went into another business on the street and asked them about FedEx; they had been on the street for 20 years and \never\ were aware of any FedEx office in the neighborhood. Moreover, the block I was looking for hadn't existed for as long as they'd been there. Called FedEx again, and asked them to move the package from wherever it was to a FedEx location that I \knew\ existed, because I had used it before. They agreed. Next morning their robot calls me and informs me that my package is available for pick up at the requested location. I go there. No package. They tell me to try back the next day; I do; no package.
\They\ (the FedEx office) call FedEx central and explain the situation, and the manager motions me to the phone. I'm told that the package is at the non-existent location. I said "I was told it was HERE; I need it shipped HERE." I'm told that it CAN'T be shipped to another FedEx location once I request it to be held at another location. I didn't request it to be held at that location, and moreover, that location doesn't exist. But the person (obviously in another state, and with zero knowledge of the local streets) insists that I must pick it up at the non-existent location. I go to the US Post Office and ask them to look up the address FedEx gave me for their office, and the *Post Office* says "there's NO SUCH ADDRESS".
Insult to injury: for the next five days, I get a robo-call from FedEx every morning at 8 AM, telling me that if I don't pick up my package at the non-existent address within 5 days it will be returned to the sender. Finally, the calls stop, and I get a call from a friend who had sent me a Christmas package via FedEx, to ask if I ever got the package. "No," I said, and explained the situation. "Did they send it back to you?" "Nope." Package gone, presumably into the non-existent FedEx office in the Twilight Zone, never to be seen again. OK, well, that would be bad enough, but the SAME THING has happened twice more in the past four months, referencing the same non-existent FedEx office.
The most recent time, a sympathetic manager at the FedEx office that I DO know, spent a half-hour on the phone trying to get the package moved from wherever it was to an existing FedEx location. Then he comes up to me and says, "the package has already been picked up". What? Who picked it up? He reads me a name I've never heard before. How? I have to produce a government issued, photo ID, with an address that matches the address on the package, fingerprints, a passport, and a DNA sample before FedEx will release a package to me. (OK, I exaggerate just a bit--but their ID requirements are pretty strict.) He doesn't know.
They're still trying to find my package. That's three shipped by FedEx since December, and three lost in the ozone. Not to mention all the lost time spent on the phone, and driving around trying to find offices that don't exist. And all (or at least most) of this annoyance COULD have been prevented if the FedEx drivers would just put a damned pick up ADDRESS on their Door Tags -- but they never do. Since then, if there is any alternative to using FedEx, I use it, even if it costs more. And I have advised all my suppliers to avoid using FedEx. Lower fees and faster deliveries mean nothing if the package never arrives, and can never be located.

FedEx is quite literally the worst company I have ever dealt with. I own a small business and there has not been a single time that my delivery was on time and free of problems. I have started to beg my vendors to use other companies because I CANNOT trust FedEx. The latest incidence, I needed my delivery by tonight, waited for it all day, it did not arrive, called in the evening. They told me that the driver got there but I was closed. Of course this is BS. I was open all day. So they said it's because the shipper only put my name without the company name so the driver decided rather than walk in the shop and drop my package, he drove on, then wrote on the system that my business was closed. Of course I cannot get my shipment for the next four days. Thanks FedEx, worst service ever.

Must be nice to have so much business that you get to ride around with customers' packages for several days. I placed a vacation hold on packages online with FedEx, it was acknowledged by FedEx to my email. I left town to deal with an emergency and get an email from FedEx that the package was delivered. I called FedEx and was told they would pick it up because the rep saw I had placed the hold. I was told the package would be delivered as requested in my hold. Then 2-3 days later I received another email saying they were delivering it again... This time 3 days before I was scheduled to be home. Another call and I was told there was no hold on my account and the packages had been delivered.
After being transferred to Logistics dept. I was told that the package had not been delivered, they were not going to deliver until requested and to ignore emails because they were incorrect. Long and short, packages were delivered and sat on my front porch for 2 days... Fortunately they did not get stolen. I will pay more, research shipping methods of sellers I do business with and make EVERY effort to not use FedEx again. A very sad and stressful time for me was exacerbated by FedEx.

Problem 1. FedEx lost my package. Opened a case and never got back to me. Problem 2. I contacted FedEx regarding the package well after their supposed “response date”, and they transferred me to USPS because they said they should have been the ones to deliver it.... Needless to say still no package 1 month later. Problem number 3. 5 large boxes (returns) were to be picked up from my home today (which was schedule a week ago) at 7:56 PM. After sitting here all day, the same boxes are sitting in my foyer.
After contacting customer service, they suggested that I should just set them outside so that they may be picked up at the leisure of the retrieving truck....that sounds like a great idea. Let’s leave 5 boxes sitting outside until FedEx decides it is a priority to pick these pre arranged packages up. Problem number 4. Another package that was shipped from another company 14 days ago is still out there floating in FedEx space, somewhere in IA for the last week. Moral of the story....I will never purchase items from any supplier using FedEx for their shipping needs. They are the WORST.

The problem, the door doesn't get used and had no prints going to it. My problem is, the deck was dripping LOTS of water off to the patio area below where the package was placed. First off let me state that FedEx is so incompetent that we ship with ALL companies except specifically FedEx where I work and have worked at my last 2 jobs. Second, I had to rate it 1 star unfortunately because it won't allow zero or negative as a satisfactory rating. Now to my most recent disgust with this crap company: I recently purchased auto parts online and soon found out they made the mistake of shipping with FedEx; a mistake that will most likely cost future business with said company. My package was coming from Illinois to Utah and shipped 4/8 and was scheduled to deliver 4/12. After going through Nebraska and spending 2 days in the destination state, Utah, FedEx sent my package to Idaho.
I called customer service and they said that it was part of someone's route, and that it would be delivered by 1:10pm. When I asked the logic behind sending the package out of the destination state to the state above it only to come back to the state of destination, he said it was all part of a scheduled route. I called BS and much to my non-surprise, no package at 1:10pm. 5pm rolls around and it said it was delivered to a facility in Boise and the scheduled delivery is now 4/15 which means I'll get it by 4/17 if all goes without error. How is this incredibly incompetent company still in business? I now have to delay work on my vehicle for the next 2 weeks due to the famous incompetence of FedEx.

I have called the customer advocate line three times asking to have a supervisor/manager call me back about my concern. I have yet to get a callback, even though I have been told each time that I call that a manager would reach out to me, each time given a different manager's name. So basically I have been told three different manager will call me, and none have called. It has been over a week since the incident I am trying to address.
Ordering new cell phones through the mail on 3/26/19, I elected to have my carrier send them overnight with a signature required at delivery (3/27/19). Knowing that I would need to be present at my residence to receive these phones, I made sure I was home. I live on a cul-de-sac, so anyone that drives down my street, must turn around and come back the other way, passing by my house a second time. You can hear a FEDEX truck when they pass your house, so when I heard the truck I looked out my window and saw the truck coming back up the road. As I was walking from the front room around to the door to meet the driver, he actually was getting back in his truck and driving off, leaving one of those door tags on my door that states I was not home when he attempted delivery.
So I paid for overnight delivery and I was home like I was supposed to, but this driver decided that he didn't want to perform this service. I want to know what the issue is and also what was his problem that day, and what service am I paying for, if the company will not honor it. I called the customer advocate line, explaining to the person I was speaking to what I just detailed above. I ended up going to the station and getting my package and I got the driver's name. The associate that was assisting me also wrote down my information and told me that the manager, "Chris" on duty would call me the next day. Never got a call.
I called the customer advocate line again on 3/29/19 and spoke to "Stacy" who told me that a manager named "William" would call me within 48 hours. Here it is 4/4/19 and no call. So I called back, spoke to a "Darnel" about 12:30 PM who told me that he would have a manager call me in two hours. It is now 6:00 PM and no manager has called me.
I am not sure why I am being ignored, but I do not think that it is good practice to ignore a customer that has paid for a service and did not get the service they paid for. I was at my residence when I was supposed to be and this driver chose to take a short cut and lie and say I was not home and not deliver my package. I am considering installing a RING doorbell to make sure my packages are delivered correctly, and to have proof next time this happens, since the company does not want to take responsibility. This is unacceptable and I want to know what was the issue on my delivery day that the driver decided he would not deliver my package.

Today the FedEx driver drove up, dropped the packages off and started driving away and hit the family dog. The dog now has a broken hip and jaw and can't stand at all. The driver left him sitting out in the rain to fend for himself and just drove away. These drivers are paid a bonus if they get back to the warehouse before the scheduled time, as a result they often break speed limits and drive away without looking if something is around the trucks. Bright and early here at 0530 in the morning, I called Chewy and they stated that since I changed my delivery address last night that it MAY be delayed.
I logged into my NEW FedEx account (created last night) and it states it will be delivered today. We'll see. I was NOT able to let them know that I have a bad driveway with a ditch at one entrance and a pavement hump at the higher end. Nor was I able to tell them to NOT knock on the door due to an injured dog in the house, just to leave the package on the back porch. What kind of business doesn't want their delivery people to have good information on delivery instructions? Final words Chewy.com gets a FIVE STARS from me for their assistance in this situation!
Original review: My Chewy.com package shipped March 30th, here it is April 3rd and NO IDEA where my package is. FedEx cannot call their drivers once they leave: I hope the drivers don't have an accident! My package have always arrived before 4pm to my brother's business that closes at 4pm. I looked on the tracking online and states that they called me yesterday about my delivery yet my cell phone recorded NO call from them? Today I called today: well you have to call the 800 number out of state. I explain it is supposed to be here by 8pm and it's 8:20 and still no package, he tells me it will still arrive? Really, they couldn't get it to me yesterday! I left a note in the window to call me or deliver it to my home (though the bad ditch at the driveway will cause them vehicle problems should they enter it wrong)!
Long story short, I am glad I didn't have medications for my dog because he wouldn't have gotten it. Not sure what is going to happen tomorrow, I had to call Chewy to change the delivery address because FedEx won't take it over the phone without charging someone $15 to print a new label...really? I'm still chasing my tail trying to find my package. Chewy, please give up on FedEx, they don't deserve your/our business and I would give up this "so called 1-2 day delivery".

Hi, I suggest never to use FedEx services or give anyone your FedEx account number to make a shipment to you. They abuse the fact that the account holder is not making the shipment and cannot approve cost. Here is what happened. My customer wanted to us to ship a personal item to him and gave us his FedEx account #. The goods to be shipped are 2 tee shirts and 2 shorts. It is almost 5 pounds but by the rule of package sizes it is regarded 20 pounds as we shipped from Istanbul to New York with the FedEx account # of the customer.
Now hear this. My customer gets an invoice of $2064.29 for this shipment and as you can expect is crazy with our operation. FYI, the cost of two way airline ticket to Istanbul NY is $600. My factory in Istanbul checked what if they sent this package with their own account instead of using customer FedEx acc #. It turns out we would have paid $125. Can you see the game FedEx is playing, and this is not the first time.
Talked to customer service couple of times, and they provided a $900 discount. But then I find out they charged is with wrong package size. So they charged my customer 4 time the volume. I am now trying to prove that the size was entered wrong in their systems. Bottom line. Don't give anyone your FedEx account #. FedEx will abuse it. You will get the surprise later so all is happened already. No acceptance of price before shipment. FedEx claims that they cannot give cost of shipment to anyone else but other than the account holder. They do not request approval from the account holder the cost. So they ship and bat it will be paid. I am refunding the whole cost to my customer on what he paid to FedEx and that is how customers needs to be treated. Best, Aydin.

First, I have never made a false claim to any company. My order was only for $59.00. It was make-up ordered through Dillard's Department Store. As stated my "Ring" device did not alert me that there was a delivery. I did not receive my product and was basically told "too bad" by FedEx. FedEx is unprofessional. It should be illegal for a company to act so abruptly to clients. My product was not delivered. I will not use or recommend FedEx for any future delivery. Nor will I order from a company that uses FedEx.

FedEx delivery lied and said "business closed or no one available". Luckily we have 48 cameras around our business and proved they never attempted delivery. Their way of keeping themselves clean with the shipping customer I guess. So when confronted they admitted no attempt was made for delivery. So I have no recourse except to give them a bad review and refuse the item when it shows.

I've had numerous bad experiences trying to use the FedEx website, and today I finally had enough. After trying unsuccessfully to update my credit card's expiration date online (which failed because the "Save" button simply didn't work in any of the three browsers I tried, including Chrome, Safari and Firefox on a MacBook Pro running macOS Mojave 10.14.3), I received an email today saying that I was being invoiced for my latest shipment.
Fair enough, since I know that the CC on file has now expired. The link in the email took me to a page where I could update my CC; but, once again, I ran into an issue with a button not working. After entering my new card information and clicking the "Update" button, a pop-up window opened asking if I wanted to use the new card to pay the outstanding invoice. "Perfect," I thought. I can kill two birds with one stone. Not so fast, though — when trying to click on the "Yes" button, it again did not function.
Nothing happens at all, as if there's no code behind the button. So, sadly, I hit "No" thinking I'd have to do two separate transactions after all. Not so fast again! Now a message appears in bright bold text saying that I HAVE to agree to pay the outstanding balance or I cannot update my CC info! I went through the process several times in several different browsers, but that "Yes" button simply didn't do anything. So now my only choice is to call them to see what's up.
First person I spoke to couldn't help and transferred me to tech support. Tech support informed me that it appeared my CC info had been "manually removed" by a different group whose responsibility it is to do such things, and they were the only ones who could restore my account by manually adding my new CC info. It would have been nice if that had been indicated ANYWHERE during my painful online experience, the support person I spoke to was nice and attempted to transfer me to the group that could help. Minutes later, though, he came back to tell me that that department was closed until Monday. How he didn't know that I'm not sure, but now I have a phone number to call on Monday to see about getting my outstanding invoice paid.
What I'm NOT going to do is use FedEx anymore. Out of frustration, I went to the UPS website to set up a new account and everything about the online experience was superior in every way to FedEx. And after reading all the reviews here about delivery issues with FedEx, I'm not even sure how they're competing with UPS. I'm sure they have plenty of loyal customers who know how to navigate (or circumvent) the website, but I'm done dealing with them.

I have yet to have a pleasant experience with this company. Over the years my packages haven't arrived on time, if at all. I have watched the local FedEx driver get out his truck, walk to the a porch and toss a package to the door... 15 feet... I've watched them deliver to the wrong address and my neighbors play door tag trying to find their package. And today, after three days, I was told that my package was being returned to sender. I signed up for email and text notifications, never received any. I left notes for the driver. He never followed. Overall, UPS and USPS are far superior.

And now the kid is retaliating for having him brought into the police station by holding my packages hostage for days and days at a time then having another driver deliver them. The package just suddenly stops scanning like my current order. My package is always in the same city for at least 5 days before they decide to deliver it to my door. Any other shipping company who has your package in the same delivery city will have your package the same day if not the next at the latest.
My package was due Tuesday but they drove my package to a farther away city and now it shows "Scheduled delivery: Pending." To Whom It May Concern, I am writing as a long-time Fedex customer to detail a horrible experience I recently had with your service. On 1/17/19 I paid to ship a small package (Tracking # **) to an art gallery in Chicago, from a Fedex store also in Chicago. The package was never delivered. Despite the delivery location having a very obvious parcel drop, and despite my marking “No Signature Required” the parcel was not left as intended and instead was brought to the Skokie, IL facility. My assistant called and asked that it be returned; the Fedex employee she spoke to confirmed the return address and said it was on its way.
In truth, that was not the case. The package was (again) not delivered to the intended recipient (me, this time). Instead, it was shipped to a supposed “Lost and Found” facility in Olive Branch, MS. I was not notified. Today, 3/14/19, I called regarding the missing package. The first customer service rep transferred me to a second; the second informed me the package was in fact in IL (which was incorrect, as I would later find out) and told me that there was nothing she could do for me. I, however, could pay to have the package shipped back to me, or file a claim for monetary reimbursement of the package.
Let’s recap: I paid to have the package delivered in Chicago, from Chicago. That never happened. Why the driver didn’t leave it in the parcel area is beyond me. I then requested it be sent back to my address in Chicago from Skokie, IL. I was told no problem. The package is then sent to MS (although this young lady said it was Olive Branch, IL. No such place). As far as filing a claim; while I would be more than happy to pursue this avenue, the package in question was a piece of art whose value is not easily identified. Similar pieces have sold for upwards of $2700, so if Fedex is prepared to pay out a similar dollar value, I will gladly file a claim. I asked to speak to a manager. I was told I didn’t need to.
A word of advice: This is not an acceptable response from an employee. I am not asking for their opinion; I am asking for a manager. I explained as much, and wouldn’t you know it, she put me through to a manager. It is here I had the extreme displeasure of talking to Oscar ** in your El Paso branch. I sincerely encourage you to review my call with Mr. Oscar ** and determine if he really has a place in your organization. It is both my personal and professional opinion that he might be better suited to a job that doesn’t require him to interact with your customers. Lying to them (we’ll get to that in a minute) and doing the bare minimum, not to mention failing to recognize, as a manager, a major customer service issue, is a major problem.
I explained the situation to Oscar ** in El Paso and explained how unhappy I was that I had now paid to ship a package that had never been delivered (and whose absence cost me to miss a major deadline, not to mention who knows how much in revenue). I explained I was a longtime Fedex customer, and that, more importantly, the billion dollar company I work for is a major Fedex customer. I also explained that I would be happy to go to the Skokie, IL office and pick my package up.
Oscar ** then informed me that there was nothing he could do. This is supposedly someone you trust with the title of manager. Consider employing someone who recognizes a major customer service issue when they see one; Oscar ** does not. I asked Oscar to take a step back and consider, for a moment, how I, your customer was currently feeling: Not only did I pay for your company to deliver a package (a task which was never completed), not only was I told it could easily be returned to me (it couldn’t and wasn’t), but your organization was now trying to ransom my own package back to me! Telling me to pay to ship it from one of your facilities to another one of your facilities!
Oscar became flippant and glib; it wasn’t his fault, there was nothing he could do, etc. etc. etc. He made no effort to help. He made no effort to provide me with a further channel of communication. And this is where things truly took a turn for the unusual. When I asked for Oscar’s boss, Oscar ** informed me that he, a customer service manager in El Paso, Texas, had no boss. Wow! Fedex must be the flattest corporate structure ever! Incredible! I asked him again. Oscar ** then informed me he answered directly to the Vice President of Fedex! Wow! Incredible! Oscar, a customer service manager in El Paso Texas, answers directly to Robert B. Carter, Executive Vice President and CIO!
When I expressed my disbelief that Oscar ** did not, in fact, directly answer to Robert Carter (or Alan Graf Jr.), Oscar ** then changed his story. He said that his answer was partially true, as he worked for “corporate.” I did not have the heart to tell Oscar that, as Fedex is a corporation, everyone that works there answers “to corporate.” Again I asked Oscar ** for his direct supervisor’s number at “corporate” and Oscar informed me that “the corporate offices don’t have phones.”
This was a truly enlightening call, let me tell you. Not only does Fedex have the flattest corporate structure on the planet, not only does **, customer service manager of the El Paso, Texas office, answer directly to the Vice President of Fedex, but you guys manage to do it all without phones in the corporate office. Someone should call the Wall Street Journal; Fedex is truly an anomaly in modern times! (It took Google 1.07 seconds to return a number for Fedex Corporate: 901-369-3600).
I’ll admit, at this point in the call, it was a little hard for me to maintain my composure. Though I didn’t swear or yell, I did tell Oscar that he might consider brushing up his resume, and I asked for his name. I think Oscar ** realized, at this point, that he may have reported some inaccuracies, because he began to play the always-fun-for-your-paying-customers game of, “Are you going to let me finish speaking?”
Every time I would ask Oscar ** from the El Paso, Texas office what his first name and last initial were, he would cut me off and say “Are you going to let me finish speaking?” Eventually though, through some persistence, I got the information I was looking for. Oscar’s last snide comment, before I disconnected the call? “Why don’t you write a letter?” Well Oscar ** from the El Paso, Texas office, this one’s for you.

I needed to get some documents, for a court case, from Blue Bell, PA to Halifax overnight. I used FedEx International Priority. I did not notice until the next day that the delivery time said 3 days (my mistake). Why on earth would it take 3 days to get a package from Blue Bell (just outside of Philadelphia) to Halifax, when I can drive there in about 17 hours? A flight takes about 4-1/2. I ship FedEx Priority to California, which is 3 times farther away than Halifax, and it arrives overnight. I was astounded! I have clients who FedEx me items overnight from Canada and they arrive next day. And, when I called FedEx to ask why it was going to take so long, they did not have an answer. I suggested to them that they make it much cleared on the website that it takes 3 days to get a shipment less than 1,000 miles.
This is not my first issue with FedEx. Just last month I shipped with them (within the US) and they misplaced one of our packages for about 4 days. It contained marketing displays for a conference. My coworkers were at the conference, but had nothing to display. The package arrived two days after the conference ended and they had the audacity to charge me for the delivery. If you notice their advertising, they no longer use the slogan "When it absolutely, positively, has to be there overnight." That's because they can't deliver that service with any type of consistency.

Been having problems with FedEx delivery people who will not follow simple delivery instructions. My FedEx Delivery Manager provides instructions to deliver to my front door because I am handicapped. The local delivery office is aware of this, but their drivers could care less. After a BBB complaint in January, I was assured by customer service that it had been taken care of and would no longer be a problem. Package today says "delivered" in tracking, but it's not here. Online chat customer rep said I should go out and hunt for it. Um no, that's not acceptable. They kept asking for the same info over and over, and then just disconnected with no warning. VERY unprofessional.
In January I tried calling them. That was even worse...extremely rude. Now I warn every vendor I work with to avoid FedEx at all costs. Just isn't worth the hassle. I kept a transcript of the chat exchange which I will add to my current BBB complaint. Likely to start a DOJ complaint as well for refusing an ADA accommodation. Delivering to my front door isn't complex or dangerous...as a matter of fact, it's much more secure to leave packages there than anywhere else on my 10 acres.

Called and had a pickup scheduled by FEDEX Express at the business I work at. The business is opened 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (usually earlier and almost always later). The scheduled pickup time was between 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM. It wasn't picked up. I called at approx. 4:00 PM and was told that the courier/driver marked it as building locked unable to pick-up at 2:55. Hmmm that's funny as there was 15 employees in the office at the time. Rescheduled for the next day between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM. I received a call at 11:37 stating that the driver could not meet the 1:00 PM pick up time and asked if 3:00 PM would be OK. When I called them back (1800 GO-FEDEX) I was told that the pickup was closed at 11:57 because no one was in the chair. Problem with that is what chair?
When scheduled told the service rep that the package would be at side of building at the roll up garage door! Also all 15 employees were on the property. I should also mention that there are 4 separate video cameras watching the roadway in front. Two times in two days the courier/driver used the same excuse when there were employees present, and no employee saw a FEDEX vehicle come near the business. I am at a loss on how to explain that they are still in the package delivery business! BOTTOM LINE USE A DIFFERENT CARRIER.

I ordered my items March 9th, they were supposed to be delivered March 12th. I received an email March 13th that FedEx is held up (this has happened to me several times) And I am moving 5 hours away. I have to wait and see when it is delivered and then I have to call to have them return my item. The post office in NJ is the worst post office ever with the worst service. I will NEVER order through FedEx, they are the worst company with the worst customer service.

I was supposed to receive a package delivered to my home, the delivery driver said that the business was closed or customer was not available while I'm sitting on my porch waiting on this guy. They never show up but when I researched on my app where was my package they said and I wasn't present which that's a flat-out lie. When I called a supervisor. He asked me what can he do to make this experience better and I told him one he can hire people to do their job would be a good start. I will never shop at FedEx as long as I live. I'm going with UPS because they never lie about their delivery.

Unfortunately, FedEx left it at my door, and did not have me sign it! Good thing I was home to retrieve it in a timely manner. The delivery person took off before I even had a chance to flag him down. Very unprofessional and risky behavior on the company's part.

I ordered a medications, paid for 2 day Express delivery. Package had arrived to Alaska and sat in Anchorage, AK warehouse since Friday to late Monday before it got transferred to USPS for final delivery. FedEx must not pay enough to USPS so the package continues with a fast speed. Now USPS is estimating a delivery time to me in 4 days, that would be 10 days shipping time! If FedEx is not able to deliver it within the time frame, they shouldn't take the job, let UPS take care of it! FedEx is trying to make me feel bad because it's them but not me paying USPS for the final delivery, even though I already paid 2 day Express shipping to FedEx for the complete route from Clearwater, FL to Delta Junction, AK. Very, very frustrated and disappointed. I always try to avoid FedEx, but some store just have contracts with them. How disappointing! If I could I would give them ZERO stars.

This is the second time I am receiving a shipment late. This time it will be TWO Days late! I am told AGAIN that it stuck in Memphis due to a flight issue. I am beginning to think they are just saying that and they are incompetent in their delivery system. This is ridiculous as they should have an additional means of shipping if one flight is down. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!
