I had a package sent to me of something I needed while I was on vacation and decided to use FedEx. The package was mailed Tuesday 2/16 early morning and I paid for express overnight shipping by 10:30 am on Wednesday 2/17. It is now 4 days later and my package is still at the origin location that it was sent from and now I am going to be leaving where I was suppose to be receiving my package from to head back home. I called customer service several times with no success as to why my package is still not moving and they were rude and un-apologetic. I use express shipping very often to send and receive things through USPS and decided to use FedEx and give it a try and I will never use this company again. Please listen to my experience and use USPS instead because they are cheaper and never stop moving mail no matter what. Hopefully I can prevent someone from having to go through the headache I’m dealing with now.

Finally taking a moment to post how awful FedEx parcel service really is, once again leaving half my package in Memphis and delivering the other. I paid an extra $25.00 to have second day air, now only to find I'm NOT getting even second WEEK service. FedEx obviously sucks! BEWARE POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS!!! Use UPS or another highly rated service instead of one that has numerous complaints not only on this site, but also found on BBB and other credible sources. I will go out of my way to NEVER use FedEx services again and recommend to others NOT to do the same. YOU WILL NEVER GET ALL YOUR PACKAGES!!!

FedEx in Carolina, Puerto Rico had the habit to hold package in their station and demand receivers to pick it up. This happened to me twice with large items I sent to my mom, who lives over an hour away and do not have transportation.

After my phone died I ordered a phone from Google and they used Fedex as their shipper. The phone was being shipped from a warehouse in the suburbs of Chicago to downtown Chicago where I lived. It was supposed to arrive on a Thursday and was delayed. The tracking website indicated "pending" for 5 days. I called every night for updates and the only information I was provided was that a case was created. Then all of a sudden, the following Monday, the tracking website updated to "delivered" but said the package was delivered on Thursday. It is now the following Tuesday and I still do not have the phone. My experience seems to indicate that Fedex not only lost my phone but is also creating erroneous delivery messages to cover their error.

We had some very important papers being sent from Chicago to Arizona. In all cases of this review FedEx was paid to deliver papers by noon or earlier. It never occurred in three instances within one week. In the first case papers sent priority overnight for receipt by noon on a Monday were delivered at 11:23 am but to the WRONG ADDRESS. Wrong street, wrong town. FedEx's website reported the delivery as fine and on time. I waited all day for the package. By that night, it was revealed that they had delivered to some other random address.
By Tuesday night it showed up in Tempe, AZ to be again processed. The new label said that it was to be delivered by noon Wed. (2 days late and FedEx doesn't care. The package had been just miles from our since at least Sunday afternoon.) I waited again. No package by noon. We requested a duplicate package by resent. The first package arrived at 3:15 pm Wed. Obviously, arrival time was not important to FedEx or delivery accuracy. FedEx claimed weather delayed our package. Ha! Arizona sunshine is so unexpected and 70 degree temps are horrible!
The second package was due Thurs at noon. It never showed up. Meanwhile, we filled out the first package and attached the included label for overnight priority to Chicago. It was to be delivered by 10 am. It showed up at 3:15 pm. Hey, at least it was the same day. The second package containing duplicates of the original package and promised for Thurs by noon, was thrown at the door on Friday at 1:13 pm. I guess I should be happy it was the same week or who knows where it would have sat. FedEx customer service was rude. They hung up on me during the first call because I wanted to explain the entire story at one time. They did not want to listen. The second rep repeatedly interrupted me so nothing could be accomplished. Her supervisor said, "hey, it's the weather." Where? How? What? Consistently, terrible and unreliable with poor customer service that equals FedEx today.

I paid a company quite a bit of money to have my package shipped through FedEx. It would’ve been cheaper if they used a different service. They told me I would have my package by the sixth. It was updated that I’m getting it on the six. By the end of the day that it was updated, I’m getting it on the seventh. By the end of the day then on the eighth, it said it was pending and they don’t know when I’m getting it. I need that package to take with me out of state. It will not be getting here in time. When I called customer service they said that, "Sometimes we have problems!" Next time I will ask them to either use UPS or ship directly through the USPS.

I had a delivery on Sunday. Our driveway was snow covered and slippery. The driver called from his truck and said he didn't want to try the driveway but would walk the package up and leave it under our carport if that was ok. That was fine with me. I appreciated that he called and then took additional steps to deliver. UPS would never have done that. They won't even drive up in good weather. They leave packages along the road where it could be stolen. I just wanted to praise the driver and FedEx. I wish I knew his name. I have the phone number that he called from. It is **.

I ordered a package that is expensive and had an exact delivery date. I was told that the package will be delivered by 8 PM on the delivery date. The package did not arrive and I did not receive notification that it would not arrive. I took off work because this package requires a signature. Called into customer service. They were not able to provide any information. Only to tell me that my package will not arrive today, tomorrow or the day after. It will be scheduled next week.
This is very frustrating because I took off of work to make sure I was available according to their requirements. The package requires a signature so how am I supposed to plan out my work week without knowing when this package will be delivered. The text and email notifications are a joke. I never received any notification that my package was delayed It will arrive later than scheduled. Poor communication is unacceptable especially during these times. FedEx needs to work on their customer communication to make sure accuracy is most important.

The next day my package was still not in transit to my delivery location. When I called them I was told the package was being held due to inclement weather and unpassable roads. Mind you it has not snowed rained or another weather event that would create unpassable roads and there certainly was not inclement weather. We haven't had snow in over 2 weeks. I asked when the package would be delivered and why the incorrect code was added to the shipment and they deflected my question. I do not trust FedEx after this and will never use them for my own shipping needs. It is ridiculous to have put in an untrue code into the system to avoid delivering my package.

I've shipped FedEx for years through a direct pay account. I use my online account and drop off at a local store that verifies the weight and label before I leave it. This December though they charged me 60% more than the shipping quote without notice. When I called they couldn't tell me why. The invoice has "other handling charge" with the added amount. The rep said my package could have been damaged or someone had to touch it. I verified with the receiver that the package was not Damaged or retaped. The rep said there is nothing that can be done. I won't ship with them again, it should be illegal to quote one rate and arbitrarily add other hidden fees.

I have read others complaint against FedEx and realized that I am not the only one dissatisfied with their service. I am new to FedEx, just opened an account in November 2020 as a small business owner. The sales rep assured me that I would never have any problems unlike with the post office and guaranteed delivery of my packages on time. My items are all perishable and I pay to sent everything overnight. I ended up spending $1,479 in shipping. I have 3 packages that were to be delivered overnight and they arrived late - i.e., one arrived 2 days late, the other arrived 3 days late, and the third one arrived 5 days late. Of course the customers had to discard the items because they could no longer eat them; otherwise, they would be sick. So I had to send the customers a new order at no cost to them.
I called FedEx to complain and of course it took forever to get to a customer service person only to be told that they are not issuing refunds for shipping because of COVID-19 - their pretext to not pay for late delivery??? What does COVID have to do with late delivery??? When I asked about reimbursement of content (since that is supposed to be insured) I got a "well, that is up to the claims department". So I was transferred to claims only to be told to file and "see if they decide to reimburse". I asked for a supervisor because spending $1,479 as a small business is a lot of money to spend with FedEx on shipping to receive such poor customer service.
I filed the claim in December and called today to get a status only for the customer service rep to state "I don't know what they told you to file a claim since we do not reimburse for perishable items" WTH!** This time they did not use COVID as an excuse. Just straight up we do not reimburse for perishable. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that there is no supervisor to talk to. That they can transfer me to customer advocate but they "don't know anything about the claims department". I have closed my account and WILL NEVER use FedEx ever again. I will return to using the postal service - they may take a little longer but they do reimburse both the shipping and content cost!

I sent an important document from Montreal Quebec Canada to my uncle who stays in Veraval Gujarat India. Though Veraval is a small town in India that's why I double checked with Fedex if they will be able to deliver at Veraval or not. They verified and gave surety that they will deliver to Veraval within 5 days and we paid CAD $145 (Indian rupees 8366.86). On the 5th day my Uncle had received a call from Rajkot Fedex office which is the nearest town from Veraval that Fedex India will send that document to Veraval after 15 days from that 5th day. We filed a complaint to Fedex India, they given an alternate approach that if we give an alternate address of Rajkot instead of Veraval which I was not advised when I sent that document. It's their responsibility to deliver that document on time if they are charging us a very good money. Leave it...
I as a sender and our Uncle as a receiver both sent an email to deliver that document at the alternate address and guess what within 3 days they delivered that document to Veraval without any further argument. This is completely ridiculous and complete waste of time. If it was possible to deliver that document to Veraval why they argued with us at the first place. Don't trust Fedex.

After getting emails for one delivery (requiring my presence to sign for) on 1/14, & then again for 1/15 (delayed), & then again for 1/16, finally, today's the day!! - 1/17 & I was definitely standing by- & right inside near the door the whole time. Instead, I got another email around 12:30pm- "attempted delivery/wasn't home". Yet NO knock, NO ring, & NO tag left on door. That alone is disturbing, but the driver of previous deliveries has been a rude sort, too. Recently catching him leaving with my box before I could get the door, I called out apologising, "I'm so glad I caught you!" "I'm glad to get rid of it." He snorted back.
Now, more conflicting e-m's: "Del. again next day (Mon. 18th)", then another comes- "Del. next business day (19th)", Why are we skipping a day?! I've never had any problems with all the other services, but after reading here about a lot of other fabricated FE deliveries, I wanted to add this. And yeah, FedEx won't be easy to file a complaint with. Their Virtual Assistant is also no help at all re this mess.

FEDEX has gone from my favorite and most reliable shipper to the worst (even behind USPS). Every company blames "Covid-19" for every complaint. FedEx will probably state the same. This is a bogus excuse when most other companies are not having similar issues. Customer Service Via Phone - Forget about it. No live person exists via phone. If you call you end up in fedex phone option hell. Just stating "customer service" doesn't work. You will spend a minimum of 15 minutes trying every possible fedex phone option with the hope of reaching a live person. Your desperation and anger will peak around this time but don't worry about slamming / breaking your phone or yelling profanity as you hang up. The virtual fedex disgruntled assistant hangs up on you with a smug "please call us back when you decide what you want" essentially robbing you of the opportunity to hang up on fedex first.
Customer Service Via Email - Forget about it. This option doesn't exist per their website. Customer Service Via Website - Forget about it. This option doesn't exist per their website. Drivers - Incompetent. For signature packages half the drivers require signature during COVID-19 while the other half state no signature is required per fedex COVID-19 guidelines.
Deliveries - Always late by days 75% of the time. I have never in all of my life had shipping be this bad in all of my life. Fedex has become worse than the USPS for deliveries. Delivery Notifications - Aside from being notified that a package has been delivered their notifications are inaccurate. Their delivery notifications of being late or rescheduled occur during or after the actual time when delivery was supposed to have occurred. This is a huge waste of a person's time. Again this happens with 75% of deliveries.

I will never use Fedex services after my last experience with them. They blatantly lied to me multiple times and ended up 'losing', then destroying my package and refusing to reimburse me for it. First, Fedex tells me they tried to deliver my package but it was refused upon delivery attempt. Never happened... I then tried to go to the nearby Fedex center to retrieve my package within days of this notification. As instructed by Fedex, I show up to the facility and they tell me my package is being sent back to the sender (my mother). I wait a week, then two, and nothing. I call them and they tell me it's at the facility to be picked up...I then explained I already went there and they told me it was being sent back.
Long story short, I ended up having to call them every few days to try and get an update. They told me it was lost, then found, then being sent back, then sent out of state to Texas, Tennessee, and eventually Mississippi. I asked to be assigned to someone specific but was told that was not possible. Every time I called I had to speak with a new person and then catch them up on everything...I was also told that multiple case files had been opened for me and the number I referenced was actually no longer valid AND they would not tell me the other case numbers for privacy reasons!! Every staff member I spoke with was also not allowed to provide his/her last name for this reason...so it was never possible to follow up with the same staff member. I was told to 'be patient' and wait 24 hours on multiple occasions.
In the end, FedEx told me that they destroyed my package, despite my constant attempts to retrieve it. I was then denied a full reimbursement of my package. I understand that mistakes happen but I tried from the beginning to get my package and I was sent on a wild goose chase. This was not my fault. I had to fight for a partial refund and this went on from August 2020-January 2021!! After receiving their responses direct from them, it is clear to me that customers do not matter to Fedex. I am now seeing there are plenty of people who have unfortunately had the same experience with them. I used their services many times but after the complete chaos caused by them and the complete disregard for me, I will encourage others to not use their services! Shameful.

It you are an investor, a vendor, or a potential customer, be aware that there are internal problems at FedEx that make them a bad choice. They have been caught, on multiple occasions, lying to customers and vendors about delivery attempts, which has created, for some companies (and customers), a nightmare situation where packages are being returned undelivered. After going through Fedex customer service, I confirmed that my package of live bugs that costed $27 was stolen. There is an issue with package stealing at my apartment. However, my Amazon vendor (Insect Sales) told me that Fedex has the ability to track packages, which would imply that Fedex could continue to track the package after it was stolen so I could have evidence of the residence of the thief so I can have a case to submit a police report. When I tried to contact Fedex with this question, I was transferred to IT, and they hung up on me before I could connect with IT. The Fedex deliverer probably dropped off the package outside anyways despite it being clearly labelled 'live animals' so the driver probably killed my bugs before they were stolen.
Package thievery occurs more often if the package is left outside, so I am safe to assume that the delivery left my package outside with no regard safety of the animals in my package. Fedex will act like they are trying to help you over the phone, but will not at all try and help you if a package is stolen and take no responsibility for their delivery driver's reckless package delivering behavior. Use USPS instead. USPS may be slow, but they are reliable and have never had a stolen package with USPS because they have actual accountability to the people and care about their jobs, rather than FedEx employees who a are purely for profit and don't care whether or not you get you packages, and long as FedEx gets its money.

The Fedex website is such a terrible website to find yourself. I take pity on anyone who has to use it. It is difficult to navigate - the opposite of user friendly. It actively tries to be your foe. You have to create a shipping label and pay for the shipment before even thinking about scheduling a pickup apparently. Then you do that and there's no place to request a pickup.
Call customer service, they hang up on you 3 times. Have a family member call, they get hung up on. Finally get through to someone, they immediately transfer you. It goes directly to the customer service survey. The scale of rating is 1-5 but they give no instruction on if 5 is good or terrible. I was going for terrible if anyone was wondering. Call again, get a person, they say you have to create an account. Great! I already did that 5 hours ago. Perfect than how do I schedule a pickup. Need a business account! WHAT. I recently utilized this service to send a package. The package was late arriving with no logical explanation. The receiver of the package attempted to track the package utilizing the website provided. For 5 straight days, the site reflected that the delivery driver attempted to deliver the package with no one available to sign for it, which was false. The driver never attempted to deliver the package, did not leave a missed delivery slip at the address and possibly falsified that documentation. I contacted Fedex customer service on at least 5 different occasions and received several conflicting answers. I was finally contacted by a supervisor (Ola) on day 6, who went above and beyond to assist me in rectifying the situation. I will never use Fedex again. I have had several problems with them over the years. I will use UPS or the postal service next time. Not worth the headache to use Fedex.

FedEx Montenegro is performing fraudulent activity. Not sure if FedEx global is aware of it but they have been operating in this country for over 10 years so hard to believe they don't know about it. So the country representative of FedEx in Montenegro is a company called Montenomaks. Even their contact email is fedex@montenomaks.com. Even though you pay full FedEx amount for the package to be delivered to your door they charge an additional 10EUR for (other fees) or you dont get your package. The company charging is Montenomaks not FedEx and I am assuming that is how they get away with it but this is as fraudulent as it gets. I recently paid 80EUR for a package to be delivered from Podgorica the capital to Tivat which is a one hour drive. Then I was charged an additional 10EUR called other fees. Shameful. The 10EUR fees is always the same no matter the size of package or where it is coming from.

Fedex customer service has sunk to levels lower than the cable TV companies customer service. First their driver says I was not home to sign for the package when I was home all day awaiting the delivery and then the package disappears off the truck before it arrives back at their hub to be re-scanned for delivery again the next day. This package happened to contain a $1,500.00 electronic fish finder so I am really doubting that it was just lost and more likely it was stolen by someone at Fedex and that is why it disappeared from their tracking system without my signature and without any other trace.
I was lied to this morning, 6 days after their supposed first delivery attempt and told that they had found the package and that it would be delivered today. Tonight I am told that they had never found the package but since I only opened the case yesterday, 5 days after they quit sending me updates about the package, I must wait now 9 days before they will allow me to file a claim for the lost package.
When I called tonight and ask to speak to a supervisor about the differing stories on the package status I was told that Fedex supervisors do not take calls from customers during peak times of the year. So, not only do the Fedex phone people lie to you when you call about missing packages but their supervisor staff doesn't have the backbone to come on the phone and deal with customers. Fedex motto should now be 'when it absolutely, positively, will not get there, Fedex will be the company that was paid to deliver it'! FYI Fedex, this is about your case # **.

I would have given them 0 stars instead of 1 if I could. The only good is my regular delivery lady is very nice and courteous. Now the ugly, I have had so many problems with shipping times and service it is ridiculous. Standard deliveries with my regular driver seem to be hit and miss, but when I receive items with a day or two service there is almost always an issue, never on time and the other drivers are rude and ignorant. I have watched them literally throw my packages like a bale of hay up my steps to my door damaging the contents. There was another guy who kept wedging the packages in front of my door so I could not get out of my house. I got a hold of customer service about it since it took me over 10 minutes to get out of my door and I had to damage the package and contents to open the door. If there was a fire in my house I could have literally been killed because of this jerk.
Customer service told me oh well, and that I needed to take it up with the company I purchased from. That makes no sense at all and was a total loss to me of over $50. Nothing was ever said to any of the drivers. I have tried to get in touch with customer service at least 12 times in the past year and was only successful talking to someone once and they told me what I stated previously, that it wasn't their problem, but was. Called the support, they created a claim number, they promised to investigate and call me back with the results. No one called me back. I have also had inventory ruined due to this as well. This time my date was changed once again without anyone calling or sending a notification to my phone. By the time I got a chance to check the tracking and called I was told that I couldn't even come to pick it up. Due to it being at a warehouse.
I have an event today and I was told that I would get a phone call with someone telling me weather or not they would be able to get it here by 1030 which is the latest I can have it delivered so that my client can have it in time. Instead I got a very aggravating phone call by someone who was just repeating the information that was already on file with no answer to my question or solution to my situation. It is now the 19th at 10:50 am and my package still is not here and I did not get any phone call. This company has let me down as a customer over and over. Having had very disappointing experiences with other shippers in the past and having had a very good experience with Fed Ex International Shipping last year, I decided to send some 'one-of-a-kind' vintage gifts to family who live in a rural area out west. They have frequent Fed Ex deliveries to the farm and hadn't experienced any problems. They've described their regular Fed Ex drivers as friendly and knowledgeable; they would always drive the truck up the road to the house to leave the packages by the door. Not so with the latest botched delivery! The packages were not brought up to the house, but were put over the fence at the County road by a cattle pen past 9 p.m.!
The family only found traces of of the busted packages early the next morning! Did the boxes burst open when they were tossed over the fence? Hard to say, because sometime during the night something or someone (most likely an animal) tore the boxes apart and ravaged the contents! When the family found the traces of the boxes, at first they thought someone had dumped garbage by the animal pen! What on Earth was that driver thinking? Or did they even bother to think? Almost anybody who lives on a farm will tell you that you don't want to leave boxes out in the open by a road where animals wander!
Maybe the driver was feeling tired, overworked, under pressure to complete his deliveries with the Christmas rush. I can empathize. But abandoning a box by the road-side? Thinking that just chucking it over the fence is 'good enough?' NO WAY! Maybe the driver didn't give a rat's rear-end because he or she figures that if something gets broken, the customers can complain and the shipper will just replace it -- WRONG! The contents were mostly irreplaceable! I even did a web search to see whether I could try to replace some of the gifts. Some were just not to be found -- not on Etsy, not on E-bay--vintage family treasures treated like yesterday's garbage by some ignorant Fed Ex driver. Oh, boys and girls.. it just gets 'better!' Problems with the online claims form and waiting on hold for almost an hour to talk to a representative. Finally gave up at the 55-minute mark and hung up.

I also had a package sent from San Francisco get lost, ok so the second time the shipper sent the package I was raking leaves in my front yard when my phone beeped letting me know the FedEx package had arrived....Not! I was 10 feet from the driveway and no FEDEX Driver ever came down my driveway.
I quickly contacted the shipper who instantly called Fedex and fedex stated to the shipper that they would contact the driver who would return to the house he left at at and pick it up and deliver it to the correct address, three days later and no driver and no package, now this is the second time for the same package. So I asked the shipper why they use FedEx and they stated they did not know but have had a lot of issues. So the third time they shipped it I finally did receive it and I asked the driver (who is always the same person) what happened to the original package he delivered and where did he deliver it too? He had no answer but looked sheepish.
How could any one company be that big and screw up so badly so many times, especially OSSEO MN where I think they have a huge theft problem, probably a ring stealing and reselling items?? My favorite tracking update is "No scheduled delivery date is available at this time," which comes after the scheduled delivery notification "by 9 pm on XX/XX/****" that then gets updated to the next day and finally to that obtuse tracking update message. HUH? Call them and you get the runaround. Ask the shipper to start a claim because FedEx surely won't, and they will tell you just that: "contact the shipper." Try to refuse the package after you've found it elsewhere, and they will tell you that you can't. You have to get a return label from the sender. Right... "REFUSED. RETURN TO SENDER" works just fine. But today four gigantic boxes were left at my gate. I tried to call and get them picked up and re-delivered, but their phone system kept giving me the run-around because they do NOT want to deal with customers. After seven different calls, with the system telling me I couldn't be helped, I finally called and lied, saying I was the original shipper.
Someone finally answered the phone, and then he wanted all sorts of personal information from me when all he needed to know was the address where the boxes were mistakenly delivered. He kept telling me he couldn't help me, and I finally explained to him that I was not responsible for his company's inability to do their job properly, and that my only moral obligation was to notify them that a mistake had been made. All in all, I wasted an hour of my day. There should be a form available on the internet, or a dedicated phone number, to report problems like this. On Oct. 5, I sent confidential time-sensitive documents via Fed Ex ground from Sacramento, CA to Denver, CO. I used FedEx's online tracker to track the package's progress. It did not arrive to FedEx's Denver location until Oct. 30, and then the tracking system said a label was smudged and "Shipping Delayed." After several more days, both I and the intended recipient of my documents began separately, and then together, calling FedEx for an explanation. We submitted written claim forms. We sat on lengthy holds, and when we finally reached a live person, twice they verified the package's location in Denver, said they would report back to us within 24 hours and would resolve our claim within one to five days. We heard nothing further. We continued multiple times to find a representative who would return our calls to no avail. It is now Dec. 1 and FedEx has done nothing. I've since shipped the documents again by another carrier.

4th misdelivered or package stolen by the FedEx driver in 2 weeks. Watched the truck drive down the street and right pass my house today. 5 minutes later I got a text from FEDEX claiming they had just delivered my package to my front door. 4th "missing" package they claim to have delivered in 2 weeks. "Customer Service" says they can't do anything about it or even tell me who the driver is. They say I have to contact the shipper to have them file a complaint. Sounds to me like theft and fraud. They keep the package assuming the shipper has insurance and will simply ship another item, while they get free Christmas gifts. Never Use FEDEX!!!

The one time they replied was to tell me, again, to send a copy of my passport, which I did again, to no reply. I'm very upset because now Black Friday is upon us, which I'm sure entails more delays and I still receive no reply from them despite my constant check-ins. Calling FEDEX customer service since November 14th, 2020. So, let me start my review. Each time I call them, they transfer my call to different rep and that rep asks me “how can I help you”. Is it a game or tricky business? Or all reps tired of answering customers and wanna play soccer by passing a ball or customer to each other. Last time I called them November 27th, 2020 Christine picked up the phone and I told her that I’m going to leave a bad review on Trustpilot and Consumer Affairs, plus BBB.
They don’t care, cause they are getting paid by an hour, calls or no calls, they are getting paid by an hour. Where is the owner of FEDEX? Is the owner rich guy so he is not paying attention to business? Control your business or close your business if you cannot work with customers. If you are rich, we don’t care too, and you got rich by our money, we used your service and paid and you got rich, at the end we are not getting the best result. Just for one piece of paper, A4 format paper (air conditioning license), I paid $97.19 credit card ending ** FOR FIRST OVERNIGHT. Shipped Friday, supposed to be delivered on Saturday. Was not delivered Saturday whole day we waited, not even Sunday. It was delivered by Monday.
If I knew, I would fax that paper, I wouldn’t pay that much, or I would use standard shipping $10 Calling to get my FULL refund since it was not overnight shipping and next day delivery. Will submit my review on Consumer Affairs and BBB too. If this issue won’t be solved, I will keep reviewing it and will use UPS/DHL/USPS. Tracking number: **. If anyone from high level department of FEDEX reads that, email me at **. Shame on FEDEX overnight shipping and its customer service.

Even though it’s provided in my FedEx Account Manager under Delivery Instructions and also provided with the merchant where I placed the order for delivery.
My home faces the security gates and I have a DVR camera pointing at the gates. Each time FedEx driver claims to attempt entry at the gate they are never seen on the camera trying to enter. So these drivers are being caught lying. So what does FedEx want me to do then... drive 17 miles away to their FedEx distribution center to pick up my package or wait for attempted delivery next business day. You people couldn’t make the delivery today because your drivers are too incompetent... what will change the next business day? What is the use of me providing you the gate access code in Delivery Instructions on my FedEx account if your drivers are too incompetent to read the instructions? Thanks for nothing again FedEx! So i have been using FedEx SmartPost for a while. Back in May, I ordered something from Etsy. I never received the product and when I made a "manage delivery" account, I saw that fedex tried to deliver it to Colorado (I live in VA) and the address was correct. But, it doesn't end there. Smartpost was ok for the few shipments after that until recently. Even though it takes 8-10 days to get here from literally only a few hours away (why? I have no idea). About a week and a half ago, my package was 53 miles from my house the day before a Saturday delivery. On Friday, they moved my package from 53 miles away to OHIO!!! So, they redid my delivery date for the following Tues. On Tues, my package says "delivered". I see the fedex truck but no package.
I call customer service and they say they will call the driver and call me back. No call back. So, I call again. The 2nd girl tells me the 1st girl lied to me, they cannot contact the driver and I have to file a claim with the shipper. I just wanted my parcel! 3 days later my box appeared out of nowhere at my front door step, 2 minutes after the shipper told me fedex said "it is lost".
Now, HERE WE GO AGAIN! I am supposed to get my delivery Friday, they change the date to Tuesday (today). And where is my package? OHIO!!!! AGAIN!!! When it was 53 miles away TWO DAYS AGO!!! Now, my delivery date has changed for the third time to Thursday. This package has been on its way from New Jersey to Northern Virginia since the 13th. That is but a few hours drive... Why is it taking NINE DAYS to get to me and WHY are my packages going from west va, to Ohio, to come back to w. VA and then finally to va? It makes no sense and frankly it is quite annoying and ridiculous.
If my sub box would let me pay for my own shipping so I could avoid smartpost at ALL costs, I would. I am so over the ridiculousness that is smartpost. I would never recommend anyone use this service. Customer service is horrible and gives no answers. They take no accountability for the screwups they do. It's just too much to deal with. AVOID!!! If you are a vendor, allow your customers to choose. This shipping service is an absolute headache.

Five or more days passed without a store credit. I reached out to the store, assumed the mix-up was at Bed Bath & Beyond at the time. Later, I discovered the mixup was with FEDEX, whose drivers never returned the item. When it was clear that the drivers did not deliver the item back to the store. In my city, Streets and Places are mostly used in one direction, and they alternate, e.g. 1st Street, then 1st Place, then 2nd Street, then 2nd Place, and so on. Going the opposite direction, they mostly alternate between Avenues and Drives. This is one of the very first things mentioned to a new driver in our city, to help them acclimate and get around easier. This is not too dissimilar from nearly every city on the planet, at least in as much that they use at their own discretion, Street, Place, Way, Broadway, Avenue, etc. and the other variances in the local language.
One would think this would be THE first thing taught to a delivery driver of one of THE largest delivery companies IN the world. It is logical that one of the top instructions to a new driver would be something like, "Now watch for the street suffix, because in THIS city, we alternate between them... A LOT!" But, oh nay, nay. Almost half of my FedEx deliveries make it to my neighbor, one street over, with the same house number and the same street number, but alas NOT the same suffix. Since the street names here are clearly marked with the suffix or AT LEAST, it's abbreviation (ST, PL, AVE), I can only surmise that the drivers, A) Can't read, or B) Are too lazy to read or even make their route on time, or C) Are purposefully trolling me, or D) They are funneling goods to the black market.
It is not likely that these drivers cannot read at all, since they do get much of the addressing correct. They just miss the very important and correct suffix, which leaves my delivery hundreds of feet from my front door. Neither is it likely that they are trolling me. To think so would be arrogant on my part. And, while it is not out of the realm of possibility, there could be a conspiracy of stolen deliveries to be sold on the black market, it does not seem very likely. This leaves the most reasonable explanation to be, they are too thoughtless or too lazy. They are likely not paying attention to the proper address. Or, frantic and irresponsible drivers running behind schedule are discarding some of their parcels, in an attempt to save their jobs.
Now, if it happened once in a while, I can sure look past an occasional mix-up. They do happen to the best of us. But in one frustrating instance, FedEx "delivered" a part for my car, but I received nothing, and my cameras didn't pick up any activity. So the vendor issued a replacement and FedEx said they attempted a "redeliver", but when they "spoke to the home-owner," the driver said they were informed no one lived there by that name. I received nothing, spoke to no one, and again my cameras didn't record any delivery attempt. I was even out on the front porch waiting after I received the "Out for delivery" notice and I even occasionally spied around the corner to check out the neighbor's house. So again, no delivery was made by FedEx.
Finally, when my complaints prompted the supervisor to be called in and the driver instructed to review the delivery, they apparently went to the wrong house to "verify" they "accurately" delivered the item. This vendor now refuses to do any further business with me, because they didn't believe me that FedEx made a mistake. Why do they believe that? Because FedEx investigated themselves and found themselves faultless in the investigation report to their client.
TL;DR Flip a coin on whether FedEx gets you your delivery. Or, just use UPS.

But we highly regret our decision. It has been over a month that my package has been stuck in Delhi and I have to contact the customer service desk everyday. After being on call for 25 mins I get the same update of the package being stuck in Delhi for custom clearance. The estimated delivery date was 21st September 2020. Even after paying a high fees because of the COVID restrictions, this is the kind of service provided by FedEx. Me and my family have been irritated and frustrated with multiple follow-ups and emails but still haven’t got any significant improvement with the package shipping. I would not recommend choosing FedEx to have your packages delivered internationally. Highly disappointed.

I wish I could give it zero stars. First of all does the FedEx in Jamaica have any control at all over packages sent from the United States to Jamaica via their courier? I sent a box with four items valuing less than 100USD and the package was held for weeks almost a month before my parents could receive it. The delay was not due to Covid; instead for some reason which showed that they had little control over what happens to packages after they arrive there. What's even worst is the items I sent were to aid in treating my parent's health condition. This was just the worst experience I've had.

On Friday another rep told me she could not see anything more than I could. Over a period of 6 weeks, a certain subcontracted driver started on our FedEx route. 4 times in a row, the driver has driven over a garden border, damaging it each time. He also comes close to hitting the carport. No other drivers have this maneuvering issue here. He even harassed the elderly semi-feral cat that spends some time on our porch, angrily telling the cat to go away and shoving a 15 lb box at him. The driver had also been keeping our packages on his truck for days at a time, showing on tracking as "no delivery attempted due to local weather", when we were not having bad weather. One of those times, the driver HAD been at my home. He was on camera, digging around in his truck for 5 minutes, then left, running over my garden border on the way out, again.
I filed an initial complaint with a rep by calling the main contact number on the website 1.800.463.3339, and was given a reference number and was told a local rep (Concord, NC) would call me, which he did. He gave me his direct phone as well as email address, so that I could send descriptions, photos, & videos, which I did for the separate times damage was done. He also said "claims" would be contacting me, and they have not. He said that the driver was a "contractor" driver and that he'd contact the driver's manager.
After the 2nd time the damage happened, the FedEx rep assured me that the driver would be removed from my route and that my address is flagged for drivers not to drive into the driveway, they are to walk the packages to my door. Apparently, this was all to get me to shut up, since the same driver has delivered 2 more packages here, from various retailers, damaging my garden border each time. There is plenty of maneuvering room and as I said before, no other drivers have this issue here. The rep did not respond to my last voicemail or to my last email, and that was almost 2 weeks ago.
I am always polite in my correspondence, so that cannot be a reason to ignore me. He also said after the 1st complaint "claims" would contact me, but they never did. Because of all this, I have stopped buying from companies that use FedEx. I have to protect my property and any animals that could be harmed. I have also contacted my favorite retailers, letting them know why I am no longer buying from them. They have all been apologetic, but claim to be stuck in an exclusive contract with FedEx and some have stated regretting the contract, stating that their own complaints have been ignored. Sounds as if FedEx is becoming a nightmare for retailers AND their customers.

I watched the FedEx driver pass my house and go down the street to a neighbors. I was hopeful thinking that when he left, he’d stop and I can finally go home and get my homework done.
Wrong. He passed my house and left. I Refreshed my tracking status and it said that he made a delivery attempt and I wasn’t there. Obviously that wasn’t true. I was online with an agent and she told me to verify the presence of a door tag. There wasn’t one because he zoomed past my house without looking back. She said she would contact the station and have him sent back. The next thing I know, someone else by another name is telling me that it’ll come tomorrow.
I wasted time, drive 1 hour round trip, and paid several tolls to pick up a scheduled high value item. FedEx showed zero accountability in the negligence and lack of customer service during this feeble attempt to resolve my issue. Thanks for letting me vent. I already know how this is going to end. My luggage containing all my clothing never made it to the end destination. The only information FedEx gave me about the whereabouts of my luggage is that they don't know where it is, that it's lost, and cannot do anything about it. Besides, FedEx made me feel foolish for using their service to ship luggage instead of a box since they are just capable of shipping boxes. So, why did you accept my luggage to be shipped in the first place?
Furthermore, FedEx declared items to German customs I don't possess. After submitting an objection form to the German customs, they explained that I have nothing to with this issue since I didn't fill out the customs form, it was FedEx who did it, and they are accountable for it. I tried to resolve the issue with FedEx since I don't want to pay customs for items I don't possess. All I got in response was a letter from the collection agency demanding to pay double of what the original bill was.
Overall, I had a very BAD experience with FedEx. Until this day, I'm still waiting to hear about my missing luggage, and now I have to pay for items I don't possess. I will NEVER use FedEx again. I have a problem with a missing pkg. The pkg was coming from outside the United States and made it to the FedEx office on 08/11/20 and was set out for delivery at 10:30 AM on that very day, I waited all day to receive my pkg, but later found that it was rescheduled for the following day 08/12/20. Therefore, I waited for the second day.
On the third day, I called the 1-800-463-3339. In response, I was told that I have case managers with names such as “Ana, Diana, David" that they are working on in my case due to customs issues. Immediately I asked the agent "what was the issue with custom and that what I have in the pkg are ladies’ dresses for my sister's wedding coming up". As such, the agent promised that my case managers will call me back.
I waited all day for the callback, then I called the 1-800# again, at this time, I was told that they received my pkg but the label fell off, and in order to prove that the pkg is mine, that I should send pictures of the waybill, the box size and the items inside it to pictures@fedex.com, of which I did.
On August 28, 2020, I received a voicemail that they found my pkg, then I called them back and I was provided with a new tracking number. According to the tracker the pkg arrived at FedEx Ship Center with the address “7250 E 90th St, Indianapolis, IN 46256” on Saturday, August 29, 2020.
With so much excitement, I quickly drove to the ship center to pick up my pkg, on getting there, I was told that they have a different name and address on the pkg. At that point, I called the 1-800# again, and the agent told me that they will call their trace department and that they are going to change both the name and the address immediately, that it was a mistake from their trace department. Also, I told them to keep the pkg at the ship center that I would like to pick it up by myself on Monday, August 31, 2020.
On getting to the ship center today Monday, August 31, 2020, they said the pkg has been delivered to someone else. I was outrightly deceived NUMEROUS times. Unfortunately, I read reviews about FedEx after I found myself as their victim. I just realized that I am not lone, they have done this to so many people, and they keep doing it. Based on their rating on Better Business Bureau (BBB) as A+, people keep believing in them. This is highly deceiving!
My pkg with the shipping fees it's over $5000, they said the sender who is outside United States should file a claim, she tried to file a claim online the system redirected her to call the 1-800#, each time she tries to call, they will put her on hold for over 20 minutes, then disconnected the line, she pays a lot to call United States. She was highly surprised that such fraudulent act could be going on in such a reputable organization with their head office in United States.

Updated on 08/28/2020: The saga continues. The package they said they could not deliver still sits at the facility. Say it is pending delivery. They say it means it will be delivered Saturday through Tuesday. So according to them my life must come to standstill for four more days for them because their driver did not want to come to the door to see if anyone was home on the delivery day. I contacted Dell and they said there was nothing they could do. I could not even go to the delivery facility to pick up the package. This is so customer unfriendly. To be continued.
Original Review: I have been missing work, three days now because I need to sign for package FedEx cannot seem to get to me. The first day the driver claimed I was not home, which I was. He did not even come to the door. He did not show up in any of the video for my front door camera. The second day I thought it was going to be delivered, at least that is what tracking said. Found out it was never loaded on the truck. They are going to deliver it on the third day, supposedly.
I have to be somewhere and now I have to stay home once again. Three days of missing work. I feel FedEx should reimburse me for lost time. They should now be the ones to get the package to me when I am there to accept it. I have already called customer support but they are limited by what they can do. Need someone higher up to address this.

Are they lost? I suspect foul play. I avoid FEDEX if there is a shipping option because FEDEX cannot be counted on.

The book never arrived so three days later from the it was supposed to be delivered it is now Friday. I went on to check the tracking and was told my package will be delivered by the end of the day at close of business. I had an exam to take by Sunday and was counting on the book arriving so I stayed home all day waiting on the shipment. By 9pm checked the tracking again and it said there was no update to when my package would be delivered. The package was 45 mins away in a familiar city that I was willing to just drive and pick it up at this point. Saturday morning I called and was told the location was closed and they do not deliver on the weekends. So beyond stressed about this and the fact that the service is horrible.

The neighbor chose to open my package, stabbed the contents twice and then threw it on my lawn. The items were on my lawn as well as she cut the end of the box. The shipping label is very legible. I don’t know how the driver didn’t match the numbers up. I’m now out of $65 worth of dog food that I expected to arrive much sooner than it did because it was at my neighbor's house for some time & it had hundreds of ants coming out of the hole she stabbed in it. Meanwhile, I had to go to the store last minute to purchase the same order again so I could feed my dogs. Can’t trust anyone anymore???♀️

My 2 most recent dealings with FedEx: shipping a package by priority overnight on Saturday, to arrive by Monday at noon. Very urgent that it arrived on time. Was guaranteed delivery by the FedEx person who took the package, "no problem". It arrived on Tuesday afternoon. Tried to get through to FedEx to find out what happened and get reimbursed for the extra money spent on priority overnight delivery and got disconnected after a 30-minute wait. The other event was receiving a delivery.
They changed the delivery the day of the delivery to the next day, but no one was going to home in the morning so I called and was told "no problem", will be delivered after 1:00. It was delivered at 9:00 a.m. A $400 package and they left it in front of my apartment in a bad neighborhood. No signature was required by the shipper, they said. My husband had to walk out of his doctor's appointment to go home and get it. I have found this to be very typical. They make promises they can't keep, they are almost impossible to get on the phone and are full of excuses or just disconnect you when you complain about their terrible service. Go with UPS or USPS, at least you'll save money.

At 10AM Saturday 8/15, I received a text message from FedEx stating "Signature req'd by someone at your address for package delivery, fedex.com/t/395763675393/en US". I stayed home all day waiting for the package. Around 9 PM I checked the tracking and the following statement was there: "We made a delivery attempt: 08/15/2020 PM". I have camera's covering the road, driveway, and entrance to my house- THERE WAS NO DELIVERY ATTEMPT, NO FEDEX TRUCK OR DELIVERY MAN ON MY CAMERA HARD DRIVE, AND I WAS HOME.
I called a FedEx rep afterwards and he made no attempt to state that a delivery attempt was made. He told me that I could pick the package up at the facility at 22511 E. Dardin Rd, Arlington, Tx. on Monday at 8AM. I drove thirty minutes to reach the facility and there was a phone with a sign stating pick up the phone and it dials automatically and just give the tracking number to the Rep.-nobody answered for 15 minutes so I left. I called FedEx rep again and could not even get an answer as to why nobody answered the phone for FedEx parcel pickup. She did tell me that the package was on the truck at 7AM out for delivery.
I am not upset because I did not get the package Saturday but rather because I stayed at home all day waiting for a package that was never attempted. Rather obvious that the rep that told me that I could pick up the package Monday knew all along that the package was going to be on the truck and I was wasting my time. I ordered another MacBook Pro before I left for Arlington which I would not have done if I had known I was going to be making a wasted trip to Arlington FedEx facility. I am supposed to get delivery sometime today. It got delivered at 1:15.

I have been waiting for FedEx to deliver a package which was suppose to have been delivered Friday, 14 August. I have checked the tracking number again today, 16 August as a FedEx Ground truck just stopped at our home but did not deliver the package. A FedEx Ground truck also drove past our home yesterday, 15 August while I was outside but never stopped. Amazingly, in the tracking information, it says no one was available to receive the package on Saturday, 15 August. This is a LIE by FedEx as this is a private residence and we were here all day Friday, Saturday and today! Now it says they will not deliver the package until Tuesday, 18 August. Why will they not deliver the package Monday, 17 August? There are 3" street numbers directly above our porch so there is no reason why they cannot deliver this package.
I also had an issue with FedEx last week as I called them to pick up a box which was date sensitive and had a pre-paid label. I called to arrange pick up and received a confirmation number. I was told it would be picked up the same day, 11 August by 5 PM. I placed the box on our porch that morning. The box was not picked up and I called FedEx to inquire why. First, I was told I had not made arrangements for pick-up. The customer service person (yes, a real person) then changed her story and told me the box was not on the porch so the driver left. Again this was another LIE by FedEx. The box WAS on the porch.
Customer Service then gave me a new confirmation number stating the box would be picked up on Wednesday, 12 August by 11 AM. Again no one came to pick up the box, so again I called FedEx. Now I am told the box will not be picked until that afternoon by 5 PM. I felt I could not rely on FedEx, so I made a special trip and drove 18 miles each to take my pre-paid box to a store which offered FedEx pick up service and handed the box to a human being. FedEx has lousy service and tells you nothing the LIES to cover their butt. They do not deserve even 1 star!

So, I ordered a part on 2 day ground delivery that was, per FedEx tracking, supposed to be delivered on 31 July 2020. Never delivered. I figured I would give them a little extra time due to COVID 19 issues, as per their website. I called FedEx on 2 August and was told all they could do was was send to their "CAT" team and the person I spoke with could only tell me that it was supposed to be at the Durham NC shipping center which is less than 2 hours from my residence. It had been there for 2 days. It was a part that weighed less than 1/2 a pound. No reason or explanation for why it was sitting for 2 days undelivered.
I called again on 3 August and spoke with a "manager" named Debra who was very apologetic and said she did not know why it was waiting for delivery as it was a small part and there should have been no problem getting it on a truck. She said she was contacting the center as we were speaking and I should have it by 4 August, no problem. Guess what, no delivery. 5 August the tracker says it is scheduled for end of day delivery. So FedEx truck pulls up across the street from our house on 5 August about 3:30pm. Driver gets out of truck, goes to back of truck for about 8 minutes (we timed it), then gets back in truck and drives away without any delivery. I guess they just wanted to torture us with false hope. So, 5 August still no delivery. Absolutely no help from their 'Customer Service' which is a sick joke. I was told 5 times in a row that my delivery was due “today” 5 days in a row, finally ending with “no delivery scheduled”. It was 6 days past delivery when delivered. Unfortunately, my very next delivery was to be from FEDEX a few days later (UGH!). Again, I have received 5 delivery dates, but no delivery... now “no delivery scheduled”. Tried the FEDEX virtual assistant & the 800#. They requested the delivery #. When provided, they did not “get that, please repeat”. When repeated, ditto.
The 3rd attempt got me hung up on. Still no item, and apparently no recourse. WORST DELIVERY SERVICE EVER, with NO CONCERN for customers. I intend to report this to the company sending these items. If you want decent & sometimes OUTSTANDING service, try USPS or UPS... far more trustworthy & efficient. Our USPS is actually pretty close to OUTSTANDING & definitely efficient & caring. The way I remember it FedEx was the company that practically invented fast delivery service, and for many years it had a great reputation. Remember Tom Hanks' role in "Cast Away" as a FedEx manager worried about maintaining their reliability and timeliness? Well times have changed, and this is no longer the "when it absolutely, positively has to be there overnight" but more of a "when it probably, ideally should arrive some time this month" kind of company.
I get lots of packages delivered from various sources, including Amazon and Wal-Mart, and I cringe whenever I see that FedEx is providing the delivery. Let me give you an example of my latest experience to explain why. I recently ordered a "knee scooter" to be used by my wife who had foot surgery (so quick delivery mattered), and was supposed to get two-day delivery. Sure, I know the Covid situation and increased online ordering has slowed shipping times, but what happened can't be blamed on that.
On the day of scheduled delivery day and with the package listed as "out for delivery", a FedEx truck pulls up in front my house, and sits there for 3-4 minutes while the driver is in the back presumably looking for my package. Eventually, though, he gets back into the driver's seat and drives away... without ever having delivered anything. And late that afternoon the package status changed back from "out for delivery" to "At local FedEx facility", so apparently it WAS on the truck and just didn't get found and delivered. And let me tell you that when it did eventually arrive (not that day, obviously) I realized it was no small package, so it's hard to see how it got missed.
This wasn't my first negative experience with FedEx and I'm sure it won't be the last. In fact I'm waiting for a package from them as I type this, and we'll see how it goes. If you have an option of who to use, though, I'd urge you to pick UPS or even... dare I say it... the US Postal Service, both of which seem to provide better service these days. And let's face it: it's a pretty sad commentary when someone compares you unfavorably to the USPS.

I was amazed that Fedex could offer a “1 to 2 day collection from the USA to the U.K.”. I had no idea how they could achieve this miracle! As it turns out, neither did they... Using the online tracker, I spent the next 9 days following its near random (but generally in the wrong direction) tour of the American States, until it was eventually put on a plane, to arrive in the U.K. around 9 or 10 days late. On the positive side, at least I eventually received the parcel which I had thought I would never see again.
Then came the nasty surprise of Fedex overcharging me for VAT/import duty. On their instruction, an invoice was attached to the parcel to show the goods value of $200 (around £170 at the then current exchange rate). They then ignored that and charged me VAT/Import Duty (they never would specify which) based on the £400 insurance cover sold to me by the shipping agent! I challenged this and they eventually relented and charged me based upon £200 (not the correct value of $200). Again, I disputed the overcharge and asked them to clarify if this charge was for VAT or Import Duty.
My first email resulted in a copy invoice identical to the invoice I’d disputed. My second invoice resulted in a further copy invoice, a copy of my previous email, a copy of the $200 invoice from the package and some completely irrelevant copies of other documents. My third and fourth email remain unanswered to date, even after waiting for two further weeks from sending the fourth email. FedEx are now blacklisted for all future business.

God help you if FedEx ever mis-delivers your package. The claims process is an absolute nightmare. They have even admitted that the package was delivered to the wrong address and attempts to recover it were unsuccessful, yet 6 weeks later, several phone calls and emails later, here I stand with no resolution. First I was asked to file a claim over the phone. When I called in to follow up on that claim and why I had not heard anything, I was told that I needed to fill out a physical claim form and send it to claims.status@fedex.com. I did this on 7/1 and received a confirmation email saying "Fedex has receiver your email - Reference # **."
Fast foward 2 weeks and I get a letter in the mail saying my claim was denied. "Under the terms and conditions governing this shipment, FedEx does not accept liability where supporting documentation is not "verifiable to our satisfaction". After a careful review, we could not verify some or all of your supporting documentation." After receiving this letter I called in and was transferred to claims department to find out what exactly this meant and what verifiable documentation they were lacking from me. I was placed on hold for over an hour and then transferred to a voicemail for the claims department. Needless to say, they never returned my call after leaving a very detailed message with the information.
I called again the next day an hour before claims closes, was transferred to claims and sat on hold for nearly 2 hours before I gave up, knowing that they had closed nearly an hour ago at that point. Finally day 3 I get a hold of someone and am told that it was denied because they did not have my claim form. They did have the label and proof of value that they had requested though, which ironically were sent as attachments in the same email the claim form was sent in. So I was instructed to send the claim form in again via email and did so on the spot. They said they couldn't confirm whether the email came or not and to call back in 2-3 days. This was 7/22.
I called today 7/30 to give them ample time and yet they still say they have not received it and asked me to send it again. I was transferred to tech support which was no help, then a customer advocate who was absolutely useless and told I need to call back tomorrow first thing in the morning to make sure I get through to claims before they close. I don't know about you, but I don't have time to spend an entire day on hold trying to track down something that I've done twice already.
This is the worst experience I've ever had with trying to get a real person to help with something. It's just a huge tangled web of red tape with no way to get an actual resolution. The only people that can resolve it for you are hidden behind a barricade of other people that will transfer you endlessly to other people that can't help you and will keep you from talking to the people you need to so you can get actual resolution. I'm sure they do this just so people will give up and they don't have to pay out on their claims and I wonder how often this happens. I'm beyond disappointed that their customer service is this bad. Unbelievable.

FedEx has really gone downhill as a company. I don't know what their problem is, but they are not doing their jobs well at all! I live in an apartment building with locked security entrance doors. I don't WORK here; I LIVE here. I am a 64-year-old woman. Before the Covid-19 pandemic, To BE NICE AND HELPFUL, I would always let the FedEx driver in to the building to deliver to OTHER tenants. (My apartment is right beside the front door, and has a patio, so they don't even need to go in the building for MY deliveries; they can leave them right on my patio.) The driver was SO UNGRATEFUL AND RUDE that I always really regretted even helping this jerk at all, I did, because of who I AM; not HIM.
When the pandemic started, I knew I was high risk (for death, etc.) so I posted a sign that said I was no longer willing or able to RISK MY LIFE to come close to the driver to let them in for other peoples' deliveries. It is a VERY HEAVY FRONT DOOR, so the driver had to be right by me when I opened it to push it with their strength, therefore breathing right on/at me, etc. He saw the sign, when he delivered a package to me but also had one for a neighbor and he wanted me to let him in as usual. I refused. I said NO OTHER TENANTS DELIVERY IS WORTH ME DYING FOR if I get Coronavirus letting the delivery guy in when it isn't even my package.
Rather than care about my health and safety, after he had ALREADY been VERY RUDE AND UNGRATEFUL every time I HAD helped him, which was MANY TIMES, up until HIS point, he TOOK MY PACKAGE off the patio where he had delivered it there, and started taking it (away from me!) back to his truck with the neighbors that he could NOT deliver now. He ONLY brought it back to me after I said I AM CALLING FedEx! But then, he told me to let him in and I STILL REFUSED, so he SPIT AT ME! That is a REAL BIOHAZARD during the COVID-19 pandemic! I was a wreck for 2 weeks while I waited to see if I would get sick or die from his doing that to me! I said to him 'That's the way you TREAT ME after ALL the times I DID help you and you NEVER EVEN THANKED ME? I never even HAD to do ANY of that, for you, AT ALL!' He just sneered at me.
I called FedEx and waited on hold AN HOUR, to suddenly GET DISCONNECTED at THAT point; NEVER having spoken to ANYONE there. But, I CALLED BACK AGAIN, and held about 57 minutes, to finally get a CS rep and I TOLD them. I was VERY SHAKEN by all this, with the FedEx driver. The next day, I called FedEx AGAIN, because I got a text that ANOTHER delivery was coming for me THAT day, and I didn't want to be TERRORIZED and TREATED SO BADLY, again, so I waited almost an hour on hold AGAIN, and told them that I did NOT want delivery of the package AT ALL! That I was REFUSING IT, rather than ENDURE another FedEx delivery. THEN, they DIDN'T RESPECT MY WISHES, about THAT. They sent it over with someone else from FedEx--- not the route delivery driver.
When I saw him approaching, I just pointed to the patio for him to leave it there, and I stayed (safe) behind my glass patio door. However, I was SO STRESSED that I BURST INTO TEARS! After that, because that was a Walmart package, I called Walmart, and told them that, although I shop for almost everything I need, from them--- especially during this quarantine, that I would be ordering from Amazon and anyone else who DID NOT USE FedEx to DELIVER to me, and I went 3 full months NOT shopping from Walmart, at all, then, until I saw that there was another delivery driver for FedEx on this route. Then I risked it; but I am SO ANXIOUS ANY TIME I have a FedEx delivery coming. I have grudgingly ordered from companies that only deliver FedEx, since then, and have CONTINUED to have PROBLEMS with my deliveries.
Because I need FRESH PRODUCE to stay healthy, and I don't set foot in ANY stores during this pandemic (I STAY inside my apartment!), I started ordering from Imperfect Foods (who has more than produce; they also have dairy, meat, oils, and more), and I just ordered my FIRST order of various breads from Angelic Bakehouse (because bread is a staple, and it freezes well; and right now, Coronavirus is increasing, around the country, which cold cause some necessities to begin to be difficult-to-impossible to find/buy again, soon). My heart sank when I placed the order and eventually saw who they ship with: FedEx. I am just going to HAVE TO STOP ordering from ANYONE who ships FedEx!!! It is TOO MUCH BULL CRAP!!!
My Imperfect Foods box was delayed an extra day, for NO GOOD REASON, in the middle of the July Heat Wave here, and when it arrived, the ONE ice pack in it was nothing but warm water, and foods were already rotting and spoiling from being in the hot trucks for SEVERAL DAYS--- including that EXTRA DAY when FedEx CS admitted that box was put on the wrong truck and delayed due to that mistake of theirs. Imperfect Foods refunded me some of the cost of my order, for the spoiled items, but I also NEEDED the FOOD and didn't get it. So, I told Imperfect Foods I will not be ordering anything else from them during the summer heat, because they use FedEx, which is not a reliable shipper. I was supposed to get my Angelic Bakehouse bread TODAY--- it shipped last Friday.
A texts this morning even told me it was coming today, but by late morning, I got another text saying it wasn't coming today after all!?! When I got on my PC to Track it, it said that there was a "delivery exception" (whatever that ACTUALLY IS, I have NO IDEA), although the Tracking ALSO showed that IT WAS ON THE FedEx TRUCK for MY DELIVERY ROUTE as of THIS MORNING. Now, the texts say it is coming tomorrow. But, again, it is JULY, and ice packs, etc., don't stay cold for days and days in this heat. I ordered some sprouted breads, and while they are HEALTHIER, they ALSO SPOIL MORE EASILY AND QUICKLY. These deliveries are in boxes that CLEARLY INDICATE they are FOOD ITEMS! I'm TRYING to stay HEALTHY and ALIVE during a pandemic, and NOW I have to worry about FOOD SPOILING that I NEED to EAT, or getting FOOD POISONING from spoiled or moldy food.
When I called FedEx Customer Service tonight, I waited for AN HOUR and JUST GAVE UP and HUNG UP! It is TOO stressful and FedEx is SUCH A WASTE OF TIME! I tried Chat on their website, but it is only some automated thing that keeps giving me responses to my issue that are NOT HELPFUL and just TAKE ME IN CIRCLES. Like, I asked 'WHY was my delivery ON THE TRUCK today for delivery but then NOT delivered?' and all it kept saying was my package will be delivered tomorrow. I really just want to REFUSE THE PACKAGE, but I NEED the food. The supply chain was so disrupted in this country when COVID-19 hit, that I couldn't GET MANY BASIC THINGS for a couple of MONTHS! ANYWHERE! AT ALL! So, because the pandemic is WORSENING now, it could also greatly impact the delivery of things, so I am trying to get some things I can freeze, etc., so I don't sit in here trapped and without food or necessities.
Just for my HEALTH (physical, mental, and emotional!) I need to STOP ordering ANYTHING from ANYONE that ships FedEx. Maybe JUST SHOP WITH AMAZON, and DO WITHOUT THE REST. FedEx is SO NOT WORTH IT, to HAVE TO DEAL WITH! I WENT WAY OUT OF MY WAY to HELP them, for YEARS, with getting in the building to do their OTHER deliveries, and MAKE THEIR LIVES EASIER. Now, even when the pandemic ends, I don't want to do them any more favors. When I needed them, in this CRISIS situation, they have made MY life MUCH MORE STRESSFUL and SCARY, right when I JUST DON'T NEED THAT! I. HATE. FedEx. now. I REALLY WOULD almost rather STARVE than have to DEAL WITH THEM just to TRY to get some (unspoiled, still edible!) FOOD in my apartment while I live all these months in isolation because of my age and health issues making me High Risk.
FedEx just DOES NOT CARE! The ONLY time I EVER got a FedEx C S rep on the phone WITHOUT WAITING AN HOUR, was the ONE time that I was SO FED UP that I hit the prompt on my phone for 'I want to refuse a delivery'. FedEx KNOW that means they will have to return it to sender and/or explain that, to the one who was shipping it to me, and while they treat me like they just don't CARE ABOUT US CUSTOMERS, they DON'T WANT TO LOSE A CLIENT COMPANY. That is when they IGNORED MY REQUEST to JUST REFUSE IT and delivered it ALMOST RIGHT AWAY by a separate delivery guy OTHER THAN the actual route driver. That tells ME that they CAN do better, they just WON'T DO BETTER, UNLESS and UNTIL it is about to COST THEM A CLIENT COMPANY doing all their shipping with them.
I. HAVE. HAD. IT!I NEVER want to EVER deal with FedEx EVER AGAIN; but, to order SOME things, I am REALLY LEFT WITH NO CHOICE! I WISH this site had LESS THAN 1 STAR Rating, for me to give FedEx. '1 Star' Rating is STILL TOO GOOD FOR THEM.

I recently ordered something that was supposed to be delivered no later than 25 July. Tracking shows that it will be delivered no later than 9 PM on 25 July. It was not delivered. When I called on Saturday I was told it will be delivered Saturday by 9 PM. It was not delivered! The tracking also showed it will be delivered Saturday by 9 PM 26 July. Customer service was horrible. They had no clue as to where my shipment was. All they did was repeat back exactly what the app showed!!!! The package was supposedly 80 miles away from me for three days. The app shows even now pending delivery estimated time unknown. A person that lives three streets over from me knocked on my door this evening and deliver the package to me because it was delivered to his address by mistake for some reason. I will not use FedEx again.

Hello, I am not happy at all. I was expecting a package today. Tracking #**. I called earlier today to verify my address on my package. I was informed by FedEx that my address was correct and my package would be delivered today. I just saw on the tracking that it is now delayed. I called FedEx and was hung up on by the first person I spoke with. I called back and was informed that FedEx put my package on the WRONG route and it will be delivered tomorrow.
I asked about compensation for my inconvenience and she said she would need to transfer me to customer service and they would take care of that for me. I was transferred to customer service and that lady told me what I already knew. She stated I needed to call my shipper for compensation, that FedEx is only the carrier. I reminded her that it was FedEx’s fault and NOT my shipper's fault. She would only say sorry and "it will be there tomorrow." This is NOT acceptable. This is medication and I want it today!

I ordered a parcel from the United States to Canada and the tracking kept me up to date until the delivery process. The day it was "delivered" nobody came to the door. The tracking said it was at the front door. I go outside but to my surprise there is not a package in sight. I checked all around my house, but there was nothing. I contacted FedEx to speak about the delivery however the tracing ended when every FedEx representative I spoke with could not reach the driver. If my work calls me, I call back right away. It is now a week later with no resolution. I have not been contacted by anyone from FedEx, I have had to call them every time to hear the same story that they can't reach the driver. This is unacceptable and I demand this be corrected immediately, I know I am not the only one having this problem!!!

Fedex is consistently the worst carrier I've been forced to use. On numerous occasions I've oriented my schedule around their delivery dates only for them to delay delivery sometimes by several days at the last minute with no explanation provided. Even USPS has provided better average service than this. If you have the option of choosing another carrier, even at an increased cost, I recommend it. Vote with your dollar, stop supporting this garbage service until they can get their act together.

They have to be one of the worst delivery companies I have experienced. Despite me putting my package delivery location on their website under my acct in the Delivery Manager they still can't get it right. Then I add it to the 2nd line on my address so they would see it and they still ignore it. I have a monthly food delivery that has frozen food, so the specific place I request delivery is in the shade at least, considering AZ's hot temps. I am so tired of your lazy drivers. They delivery email said left at front door! NOT INSIDE BACK GATE which is actually a way easier delivery for them as they drive past it in my complex anyway.
If I wasn't forced to use FedEX by the company I am getting food delivery from. I would NEVER use them again. 2 months ago they left the BIG frozen food box up on the top of my 6ft brick wall. Right in site for everyone who drives by this part of the complex. Not to mention I had to ask a neighbor to help get it down. I am furious with the stupid drivers of this company! This has been going on years and they are still the worst delivery company despite complaints.

I have had two shipments delivered by FedEx. Both times package was damaged, one came a day late and the drivers are scared to come down my driveway because of the tall grass in the yard. Don't use them is my advice.

I have been waiting for a package for my daughter. It was supposed to arrive on July 17, 2020. However it was NEVER delivered to my front door according to my door camera, but the driver lied and noted that it was left at my front door. I called FedEx's customer service and the experience was horrible. I asked questions to see if they could track the driver of delivery and I was told no.

Do not order anything of importance or anything you want on a certain date from a company that uses FedEx. It will never arrive on time. It will make it to your distribution center just fine but from there it will either be undeliverable due to an exception, waiting for new delivery date, or simply take a trip around the United States. You may actually see all three occurrences for one package. If I did my job like this I would no longer have one. I wish companies would let you know who they ship through before you hit the buy button. I for myself will from now on just cancel orders shipped through FedEx. It is not worth the aggravation. I will rather find a different seller or live without whatever it is I thought I needed, because I dont need this bs.

I had a very important package that went all the way across the US by mistake to a totally wrong address. I called when it wasn’t delivered and was told that it had come back across the country to the right place so I drove there and it wasn’t there. It was late by now but finally back at the right place 3 days later. The employee I dealt with both times lied about something that I said when I went to pick it up the second time. It was way off from what I had said so it was very upsetting.

Ordered over 2K worth of camera equipment from B&H Photo. Package was late two days, customer service was terrible. Numerous calls had to be made to their customer support in order for them to do anything to track down the equipment! Waited all day and Fed Ex claimed they couldn't leave package - NO notice was left. Had to drive to shipment center only to find the box was OPENED! Wow, can understand late deliveries because of Covid-19 but seriously? Your criminal drivers couldn't wait to open the package could they? DO NOT TRUST FED EX.

The worse shipping service that you can find in Alaska. I had 10 packages from different locations to my home, Alaska. 6 of them delayed for more than 3 days. I had to send a package (documents) to Italy with FedEx (No other option) with their express service. It arrived in Italy after 8 days opened and the package was ripped off!!!! This is the express service that you will get from FedEx. No response from them when I called their center and they did not try to make it work. This company is the most unresponsive company ever.

I paid $25 to have a 1lb car part shipped overnight. It didn't make it. They suspended money back guarantee because of the coronavirus, I understand. Why take the money? If I known that I would've never paid the $25 if there was a chance I wouldn't receive it on time! It's not right that they can just take people's money!!!

I have no idea how FedEx is still in business. Amazon Prime dumped them because of customer complaints. I’ve purchases products online for quite some time and I understand that the world is upside right now down with a fruitcake president and COVID 19 wreaking havoc! But Good companies find a way like UPS , unreliable unstable business use it as an excuse.

FedEx has delivered 2 packages in 2 days to someone else on my street. I called to file a complaint on both. I got a call back on one, he said GPS showed it delivered to the correct address. I wasn't home for that one, so I figured someone swiped it. Today we were home, saw the truck up the road, and thought the delivery wasn't for us. Then I got a notification showing it was delivered. We were right here, even looked out the door. Waiting for the call back on that one, not letting it go this time. So extremely frustrating.
