If I could give FedEx a negative zero, I would. My package was due today and it was a no show. I stayed home all day waiting for the goods. FedEx tracking still showing for today. No updates available. This happened with the last delivery a few weeks ago. Package was not delivered as scheduled and had to pay another person to get the package off my porch cause I had to travel. FedEx is a horrible service. I will never shop again at a store that uses FedEx as their delivery vendor. Beyond ridiculous.

Never ever ever will I do business with a company that uses FedEx to ship. Took day off work, truck shows up, Oops didn't load my package. Day 2, I'm at work so they leave a door tag. I signed the tag and left it on my door. Day 3, website show an attempted delivery (that could have been left on my porch at this point) but no FedEx truck even passed my house. I know this because I have cameras active when I'm gone, 2 of which are pointed at the road.

FedEx is best at ruining perishable deliveries. On 3 of my 4 last orders of raw dog food, they’ve managed to only provide half my order and allow the other half the rot, requiring the company to replace what was damaged. Now on my most recent order, they managed to deliver none of it and I am now told that it will not be delivered until Monday. (2 days from now). Their driver actually walked up to my door and left the door tag rather than just leave the packages that did not require his signature or a person to be present for delivery. This will be raw meat rotting in their warehouse that I will be expected to dispose of in two days.
I was assured on two separate calls today that it would be delivered by end of business and told to call back at 8 pm if not received. When calling back at 8:00, because of course it wasn’t delivered, I’m told no supervisors are available to speak to and that I have no choice but to wait until Monday to receive my rotted delivery. No company should work with FedEx for their deliveries. All they do is destroy product.

FEDEX is the worst courier ever - not only the slowest courier but they DON'T deliver on weekends and Customer support is a joke. I order and shipped food on Tuesday from Toronto to Ottawa and after 6 days it still has not been received - it has been sitting in a warehouse on the floor or in a container for 3 days because, according to Customer support, the container was not unloaded on a Friday and will be unloaded Monday and then out for delivery on Tuesday - I told them is ridiculous as it's perishable products to which they said "We understand your situation" to which I DON'T THINK THEY DO - All they want is your money and give you nothing but grief in the return - DON'T USE FEDEX.

Is it so hard to get a box to a location? Honestly. I understand things happen but when I call in to try and pick up a package that was missed but shipped with another package I received I get no support, I suppose the driver just had time to fish out one of the boxes. Anyways, when I tried to even go out of my way to get the package myself FedEx the trash that it is had no solutions other than putting a request to have the package dropped off at a hasty market. Of course it didn’t make it there either. Now it’s Saturday, the time I had this weekend put aside to put my printer together is shot and fedex could care less. I work in service and my company would never treat a customer like they don’t matter. Avoid shipping with them at all cost. I rather my package be shipped on a Donkey, at least there be an excuse for lack of understanding.

They Lost my package after multiple delays. Decided to open an investigation without creating a stupid account but cannot follow up on investigation until they close it. They Closed investigation because they claim to have delivered package. No responsibility on their end. Also, their stupid Website is trashy and difficult to navigate. Hate FedEx!

I would highly not recommend FedEx to pick up a return package. Customer representative said FedEx drivers are not allowed to communicate with customers due to security reasons…. And that FedEx is not supportive for customers who live in apartment gated community without a code to get into the apartment.

My bed arrived broken and boxes were open. I tried to return it the same way they delivered it and they won’t pick it up unless I tape the boxes shut. YOU DELIVERED IT THIS WAY!!! Trash company that I will never use if I can help it.

I paid for express shipping but haven't received my package yet. Online services such as virtual assistants do not help with the updates or keep you at ease. Customer service representatives do not help, they sound like robots and give the same answer and ask for more time, which is ridiculous, after them seeing that my delivery was paid to be expressed. I will from now on avoid having deliveries from this company especially from the facility in Memphis that does not give updates on anything. I will also not recommend this company for other businesses to use.

This delivery service is inept and repeatedly delivers our package in an area where it will be stolen, despite written instructions stating to deliver to the front door. We have now had two bed frames stolen because they deliver to the wrong area.

Terrible experience. I went to FedEx store in Denver to send a document envelope to Australia on Thursday, 30 August 2024. The employee at the counter said that my package will be delivered on Monday and it would cost USD 156.00. Well, not cheap, but it’s Australia we are talking about and delivery in 4 days sounds good enough. To my surprise the delivery time appeared to be Monday 09 September 2024. This has never been mentioned BEFORE I paid the charge. Considering the time it takes to ship, the price of USD 156.00 is ridiculous and the service quality is not good enough.
As result my package would have been way too late, so I had to send the same set of documents with DHL. My DHL package cost me USD 86.77 and was mailed on Monday, 02 September 2024 and delivered on Friday, 06, September 2024. To all the people, considering parting with their money for a crappy FedEx service, I would recommend to reconsider and shop around. FedEx management needs to tame their greed and lift their game. Their salaries are as inconsistent with the quality of their work, as their retail prices don’t match the service they offer.

Deplorable. I have been waiting close to 2 weeks for a package. I got 0 updates for over 7 days. If you use FedEx, I probably won't buy from you anymore because their delivery and service is unbelievably bad.

I have a Fedex package that shows it's at a Fedex station in my area,, I called the stupid Fedex toll free number. It says it's still in transit, so where is my package,, and you can never talk to a live person. Time to start switching to UPS for my packages. At least you can contact a live UPS rep,, and I had another package Fedex dropped my computer and smashed my computer on its side a big dent,, it was really bubble wrapped good. It should have never got damaged, I tried calling the Fedex toll free number. It would not let me talk to person. It just says good bye and hangs up,, I do not know why anyone would want to use Fedex,, Fedex lost my trust. Won't recommend no one to Fedex.

We were supposed to receive a package on Friday from Home Depot. We received a message from FedEx that it would be late and it would arrive Saturday. We received a message on Saturday saying it was on the truck and to be delivered between 1 and 3. Then we got a message that said, "Sorry. Your package will not be delivered today. It will be delivered on Tuesday the 3rd of September." it is Sept 3rd, we got a message this morning that said it would be delivered today. It was on the truck. I just got a message from Home Depot saying that the package was going to be delayed. You guys have gotten so bad. It's ridiculous. You need to get out of the business! This is probably the fifth time we've received something via FedEx. And it was either late or the box was destroyed it. You really need to get out of the business. Or get a new CEO.

I purchased some jewelry overseas and it was shipped Fedex. The package got held up at customs and that’s not the issue. Paid my dues on it and then they lost it. Great! Contact the seller and they have insurance to cover the package and send me another set. Then I get a bill to pay customs again. I tried to explain I shouldn’t have to pay taxes on something I never got and put in a claim with all the paperwork. FedEx never responded but I did get another bill and late charge from them.

FEDEX SUCKS. FedEx says they made delivery attempts and never did. I’m sitting in my kitchen at the exact moment they said they attempted a delivery! Driver lied because they can’t keep up with their ridiculous time schedule. USE ANOTHER SHIPPER!!! USPS!!!

FedEx is terrible delivering packages on time & losing packages. I ordered my item on Aug 17. Lost my package on the 21st. Still has not been delivered and today is the 29th. No updates on tracking info and just says package is delayed. VERY disappointed in the reliability. Any time I order from a company that uses FedEx as delivery there is always a problem. And the customer service is extremely lacking in care & consideration!! FedEx...DO BETTER.

I absolutely hate it when I order from a company that ships with FedEx. I know my package will be late, lost or broken. I'd never ship with this company, and wish others would stop using them and making customers deal with the crap on the receiving end. From trying to contact a live agent, to getting real answers and RECEIVING your package.... IT'S ALWAYS A FREAKING NIGHTMARE!!!!

Driver REFUSES to deliver to my home as they are paid to do. Called numerous times with no result. They throw packages on the ground .25 miles away. I am handicapped and cannot go to the packages. Bad FedEx.

My experience with Fedex was terrible. The product simply wasn't delivered to my home. Fedex says it did, but the photo of the delivery location clearly shows that the products were delivered to a completely different house than mine. The photo shows a brown door and gray walls, while my house has a green door with beige walls. Since then, I've been living in an absurd situation. The supplier says that it's Fedex's responsibility, and Fedex says it's the supplier's. In practice, I lost my money and my product, and neither party wants to take responsibility. It's absurd!!

My nearly $1000 package was over 1.5 months late. I sent multiple emails to the FedEx team and never received a response. I'm convinced I would've never gotten my package if the shipper didn't have a contact at FedEx. I currently have a $500 package stuck in FedEx customs because they won't respond to my emails or provide any assistance over the phone. I wish companies would specify the shipper they use. If I could pay 30% more to avoid FedEx, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

So many issues…Where to begin. 1) Ordered fresh fish from Alaska. Promised delivery on Friday. Called the shipper to query impossibility of getting something that shows in transit to Memphis on Friday morning when I’m in California. Updated to Saturday. Checked status early Saturday, shows delivery to be made Monday. Shipper packed with 48 hours of ice. Now awaiting my garbage fish shipment. $250 fertilizer? Often order dog food online. FedEx is incapable of bringing shipments up the driveway. Usually have to hunt a half mile hill worth of addresses to see who received my dog’s food. Driver must be dyslexic. UPS, Amazon and USPS always deliver correctly. I guess I have to make sure online sellers don’t use FedEx. Really tired of these schmucks ruining my day! Only thing worse is when you try to contact customer service, you might as well go scream at the sun!

We had a delivery of oil from Walmart we received text delivery and we look outside. Nothing there. They delivered to my neighbor. I feel ban to go and take it. They weren't home. I write it to them. They didn't even follow up. They say we delivered and take my neighbor porch pic. Very bad service. Next time I will claim with proofs. UPS has more accurate service and better customer service.

Needed package within 24 hours, had plane, car rental and motel reserved, so I had company send overnight, shipped on 20th of month, suppose to be delivered on 8/21 by 1 pm. My reservations to leave on 8/22, didn't happen, FedEx had package scanned 3 times in Memphis but never sent out for delivery. It stayed in Memphis hub 20 hours and did not get to destination until 8/22 at 1:30. So I had to change my schedule for plane, car and motel. It cost me hundreds in cancellation fees. Biggest problem, no apology, no refund. They have to be distorting their reviews showing that they get packages on time 98% of the time. Only been a few months ago they rolled my package out at a mailbox at a house no one lived in 1/2 mile from my house. It was a $700 car part that was electronic, was rained on 3 days, my USPS delivery decided to check the box, my name and address was on it! Had to file a claim and wait 6 weeks for a replacement part.

I ship two packages and receive a receipt for the total amount. I just see that my credit card was charge a amount over $100. I call FedEx and the lady they cannot help me I needed to email the billing department, which I did and the answer I received is: Rate receipt did not encompass all the applicable surcharges to me is very unfair. Why they don't do the total charges. At least you know when are you paying. Very unfair and very unprofessional for such big company. Don't trust any receipt you get when you ship your packages.

My husband ordered 4 tires. They were scheduled to be delivered 08/20/24 from 10 am until 2 pm. They did not arrive. Then they were rescheduled to arrive the next day, 08/21, between 12 pm and 2 pm. They did not arrive. At about 3 pm a neighbor came to my door and said they were delivered to him. He lives on a completely different road with the same house number as mine. I was worried they would be stolen. Brand new tires are expensive. I went to his house and called FedEx. They said someone would contact me to redeliver them to my house. They said it may take up to 2 hours. I told them I could not stand there outside my neighbor’s house guarding the tires for two hours. FedEx delivery people really don’t care about when or where things are delivered. It’s kind of a gamble to use FedEx at all. Find a reliable service and skip FedEx because either they are incredibly stupid or they just don’t care.

Unfortunately, there is no way to give 0 stars. I had a package that was supposed to be delivered Thursday Overnight Express. I ended up getting the package on Monday. Several calls were made to the customer service phone number. FedEx has forgotten about their customer. I never spoke to a representative. I was trying to find out where my package was at. I'll never ship anything with Fedex.

I did an international shipment of a small package from Portugal to the US in July, 2024. After completing the shipping form, FedEx online shipping tool quoted 85 Euros for the shipment. I accepted and moved on. Fedex asked for an account, so I created an account and submitted the order. The only price change that could happen would be related to any potential custom charge in the US, if any would be applied, which is perfectly understandable. At the end, there were no tax applied to this shipment. Still, immediately after receiving the shipment, Fedex charged me $468 directly to my credit card, without any notice or explanation for the additional charge.
Service and billing departments would not give you any documentation or explanation and only tell that is the value of the shipment, ignoring their own online quote. I won’t use Fedex from now on. Please, never trust their misleading quotes, since you will be scammed. I am taking them to court and to the European Union consumer affairs, not for the value itself, but to protect further consumers from this misleading practice and failure to repay customers from their internal mistakes.

FedEx is a very money-oriented company because they could care less about the consumer. Every time we have used them our packages have been delayed and all the customer service people can say is it will be picked up by 8 pm or dropped off by 8 pm! They could care less if it is a life saving package or could possibly cause you to lose your business. If it was up to me their license would be revoked until they have better checks and balances that they really care about their customers!!!!

FedEx delivery photo is a joke because no one knows what the picture is of. FedEx says that the gps location and driver says that the package was delivered to correct address and that it might've been a 3rd party that stole the package (porch pirate). I have a neighbor's house adjacent to my backyard that could explain the gps location but FedEx won't let me see it or give the information to Amazon. I have Blink security cameras and Blink says my cameras were working with no errors. (FedEx probably believes that their driver used technology to disable my wireless cameras to steal my package and then turned them back on after driving away. Then took proof of delivery picture of white piece of paper.
FedEx sent driver to locate my package just for my cameras to be disabled again by technology as I never got video of delivery on August 8 or of driver looking for package on August 10. FedEx only says that Amazon might give me a replacement or refund. Don't use FedEx unless you call to have package put on hold to pickup yourself.

Three packages all from different online retailers. One spent two weeks in limbo, another one week in limbo, and the third is still in limbo marked as "On Vehicle Out for Delivery" at the start of the day just to end up marked "Operational Delay" at the end of the business day. Of the two packages that have been received one was completely destroyed. The other box had heavy items in it and weighed roughly 40 LBS. The box was completely destroyed and was wrapped in half a roll of packing tape to keep it together. The plastic and aluminum food containers inside were dented and cracked. And the shipping label was destroyed at some point in the process because a new label was put over it. I shudder to think what the third package is going to look like when it finally gets here.

My package needs a signature, so I took off. It was supposed to come in the morning, then scheduled by the end of the day but never arrived. I took off the next day as well. The package was supposed to arrive by 1pm but again no package. I think they should hire Amazon to show them how to deliver a package.

Package remained for days in the same place, not an email neither text message from them explaining why. Fedex it's the worst service. AVOID BUYING IF FEDEX IT'S THE ONLY SENDING OPTION AVAILABLE. Save yourself from headaches and likely delays of weeks. Customer support it's a joke, each representative lies to you and gives hard-to-believe explanations.

I'm sitting here after noon waiting for a package that requires a signature and was supposed to be delivered between 8:30 am - 10:30 am. Once 10:30 am passed, I could no longer track the delivery truck via FedEx's delivery map. Now my packages is to be delivered by End of Day. WHY have a delivery map if it isn't available? WHY do customers require signatures? NOT because they expect their clients are going to steal the package; because they fear a FedEx employee might steal the package. The signature is to ensure delivery. WHY are FedEx customers inconvenienced having to wait for a signature required package and have to pay additional fees for signature required packages... because we don't trust FedEx (as is very easily displayed by the 98% 1 Star reviews on this website). FIX YOURSELF FedEx!

They deliver stuff to the wrong place. I get stuff that belongs to other people so I have to go deliver it myself. This company is a joke. They shouldn't be allow to operate.

I never imagined I would be so disappointed with FedEx. Terrible customer service. The package (Reuter) was held up at Oceanside CA and the reason I was told when I called customer service was I asked vacation hold on the package. This was absolutely incorrect, I had not asked for any vacation hold, but they kept blaming me. I finally went and received the Reuter directly from the shipper, completely skipping anything to have to do with fedex. These guys don’t take notes and feed it into their system. Each customer service person will tell you something different and the supervisors don’t step up and take responsibility.

As of late, the FedEx service has severely declined. I have had packages that show delivered, yet never arrive. I receive packages that do not belong to me. I have had artwork, left outside our warehouse dock area in the rain. We request that they deliver to our front door, yet they always go to the back - without fail. I have had packages left at the end of my driveway instead of on the porch. I used to get HelloFresh. FedEx would never deliver on the right day. The food would go bad. I ended up telling hello fresh to NEVER use FedEx again. They started using UPS, which was better. My latest Walmart package never arrived, yet shows someone signed for it. They didn't come here that day at all. We were here waiting for it. Now the shipper will not refund us because someone "signed for it". I don't know where they delivered it, but it wasn't here. I am in South Chesterfield, Virginia. They have a huge problem with their drivers in this area.

I wish there was an option to grade FedEx a negative number. This company has gone from the very best dependable delivery service to the absolute worst in the country. The individuals that deliver the packages are either blatant liars or the company has become dishonest and deceitful. For the fourth time in a row, I was suppose to have a package delivered to my condo and was texted that it would be arriving. We purposely waited at home for the package. We live in a condo, so we never received a call from our call box from the deliverer. Nor did anyone come to our door and knock or ring the door bell. Then they left a text that they were unable to deliver because no one was home to accept the package. A complete and total lie. This is the fourth straight time this has happened to me with a FedEx delivery. I would recommend using UPS, DHL, even USPS before I would ever use Fedex to mail a package.

For the 5th time Fedex had my package on the truck for delivery and did not deliver it. Sometimes they take 2-3 more days to actually deliver it. Then on some occasions they lose the package. I hate it when they use fedex.

FedEx is absolutely atrocious! The fact that they are still in business is just utterly shocking. Every time I have a package shipped through them something goes wrong. They have currently lost my most recent package and never even bothered to notify me until I called to see what was happening.

Every time I get a notice that I have a package being delivered from this company, I immediately regret it. FedEx is the worst and I don’t understand how they’re still in business. They have been sending me multiple notifications all week about my delivery that is SUPPOSEDLY coming today, and I have to sign for it, so I’m stuck waiting around the house. This morning, they update me that the package will arrive between 10:40AM EST - 14:40PM EST. It is now 15:54PM EST and nothing has been delivered! I checked the website and now the delivery ETA is “By End of Day”. Why even give a timeframe when you know it isn’t guaranteed?
Pointless. Mind you, around 13:30PM, I literally saw FedEx ride past my house, slow down, then proceed to keep going, and I have cameras on my property to confirm this. I’ve been trying to get in contact with customer service since then, which is extremely hard to do so — USELESS. I’ve even had issues with them in the past saying that they’ve delivered something, and they provided an extremely blurry photo so you can’t even really see anything, yet the said package comes two days later. I wish we had the option to choose our delivery services because FedEX makes this all EXTREMELY difficult. DO BETTER!

Left my package in front of the building and I did not receive it when I called FedEx. They told me you called the company. When I called the company, they said they are sending another one out, but they couldn’t tell me who was gonna bring it so I didn’t want it.

I ordered 3 solid gold spacer beads for making jewelry, and someone at Fedex ripped open the original envelope, printed a new label, stuck the opened & EMPTY manila envelope into an empty box, and delivered it to my home. Talk about BALLS, man. I called countless times addressing this situation, with more emphasis going toward the person responsible being held accountable rather than any refund. Since the thief actually printed a new label, there was an employee number, date, and time on the new label, making the process of narrowing it down to who the thief was very simple.
However, speaking to an American proved to be impossible. I'm sorry, but I just can't believe or expect another person in a whole different country to care about, or have the resources to do what I was wanting; which was hold this person or people responsible. No happy ending to this story. Despite filing claims, placing numerous phone calls, and all other means of communication; nothing was done about it! Beware when shipping with FedEx. Thievery is a common practice over there, and getting any compensation or a person who will actually care is IMPOSSIBLE. I know for a fact that I say that with thousands of people who feel the same exact way. FedEx should change the their name to FedUp, to represent the majority of their customers. It's the least they could do.

This is the worst delivery company out there. You should take your business elsewhere if you don't want to be completely disappointed. They will deliver it two days late when you no longer need it because you were forced to go to the store which you didn't want to do to begin with. It's a lose lose situation because then you have to make a return and wait in long lines at the FedEx facility.

Delivery date not even close. Was promised delivery before noon on Saturday 7/27/24 and after this timeframe had passed was told by customer service that the package never even made it on the truck. Now because they don’t deliver on Sunday was told the package will be delivered on Monday. Completely unacceptable as the materials in this package is time sensitive. I shouldn’t even give one star.

The service in our 29069 area code is the worst. These drivers make no effort to come by and get a signature required for delivery at the stated times. When I wait at home 4 years just for them to come, I full expect the driver to do what he said when he said. My time is just as important as is yours, although your slack performance and arrogance indicates a blatant disregard for it. Now an urgent package sent to me by the car dealer, which they paid overnight charges for, will not reach me for a week. I gave instructions online for my package to be left at a local access point, so picking it up will be another inconvenience since I wasn't going to play chase games with an inconsiderate, incompetent driver who never came to deliver my package with signature required.

Fedex has a standing service with Everise to package and return equipment to Everise. None of the listed locations within 100 miles of us do this unless you pay, even though the service is supposed to have been already paid by the company. If you call Fed Ex with a complaint you cannot get to anyone to help. You go in circles with the computer recordings. The listings on the website are incorrect and some locations don't even exist. This is a sleazy way to get paid twice for the same service.

[221 W Forsyth St Jacksonville Florida] Awful experience with ** on July 12 2024. I brought in a heavy kitchen appliance and a large book and asked for them to be put in a double-wall box and packaged at my expense, then ground-shipped. ** at first assumed (or pretended to assume) that the two things were headed for different addresses and tried to sell me two boxes. Then he misspelled the name of the recipient and typed in a wrong street address that would have induced preventable shipping delays. (I made him do the shipping info over). He did not ask me about insurance, falsely assuming that the value was $100 (I insisted on and got insurance at $400 when he redid everything). He had to cancel a charge, reversing a credit-card charge, and impose a second charge, to correct the name/address/insurance. He lied when he said all FedEx-supplied boxes are double-walled (they aren't).
When he was at last finished, he took the shipping papers and the kitchen device to a counter in the back, apparently intending to wrap the device and send it -- and left the book at the front counter and went and started with something else, apparently forgetting completely about the book so that it might have been lost forever. I called him out on it. Throughout the entire encounter, his gaze was in irrelevant directions, suggesting militant inattention (and he made enough mistakes to prove inattention; see above). I called Fedex Customer Relations and filed Complaint **.
A week later, I called to determine the status of the complaint and was advised to call the storefront itself. I did, and ** answered the telephone (as in he wasn't fired). I have had good experiences with other staff members at that location, but until I have a response here from FedEx or other hard evidence of personnel improvement I advise avoiding this establishment. (P.S. The device and the book were in fact received in good order.)

Horrible company and customer service. I had initially requested a hold of my package at a specific site due to required signature and I did not know if I would be available to receive. Within an hour of that request, I was able to confirm my availability and called to request a cancellation of the hold which the representative confirmed. On the day of the delivery, they DID NOT in fact cancel the original request and now I have to somehow fit a 100 lb package in my sedan.... I was told that they do not have the capability on their end to cancel the original request BEFORE it is even shipped days before delivery. How do companies like this stay in business?!

Just because your lazy driver decided to drop off my package at pickup center, not the requested address, I have to either commute 2hours back in forth or have to stay home another day otherwise your USELESS policy wouldn't leave my package in the lobby. This used to be a good company. We have been FedEx business customers for 15+ years and spend about $ 20K on shipping annually. Unfortunately, customer service is now the last thing on their agenda and so is the 'new and improved' FedEx shipping manager. I cannot think of a 'new and improved' shipping portal like FedEx's that is less user friendly, full of bugs and difficult to use. Instead of getting better shipping rates, they want to give me a bloody cooler or tickets to a ** football game....Morons.

Yet again FedEx has mishandled a delivery. Box was torn by evidently being thrown onto the porch. Two items inside were torn open by the rough handling. Another box was completely open on one end. This is an ongoing issue with FedEx deliveries here, along with delivering to the wrong house. I just wish companies wouldn't use FedEx until they resolve their issues!

I call in to talk to an agent and the stupid automated system refuses to send my call to an agent. So I give the tracking and it gives me the automated information on it and when I say agent to connect to a person, it says it can't and this is all the information they can provide. Useless piece of crap system. Can't even direct calls to agents. If your phone system is this bad I can only imagine your customer service and delivery is about the same level of incompetence. Ridiculous. Fix your automated POS.

I would give FedEx a one star rating. We sent 9 packages July 8 using FedEx Priority Overnight service, meaning next day delivery by noon. 3 packages was spot on. 5 packages were grossly delayed and one still undelivered and it’s July 18. And the customer service is terrible to get this last package delivered. After 3 cases opened to track the package, still no update when this delivery will happen. They have no effective system to monitor and track undelivered packages. They have a case opening system for customer that doesn’t work at all. They can dispute all they want but they can’t seem to deliver our package **.

Updated on 07/30/2024: Extremely frustrated, FEDEX goes above & beyond NOT TAKING RESPONSIBILITY for their screw up! I’m beside myself for everything they’re putting me through proving with photos they delivered & lost my package to an unknown address yet my claim comes back denied?!?! I reported the package missing after viewing the delivery photo 6/18 which showed an unknown home, I then follow their text instructions to visit my FedEx on 6/21 explaining the ordeal which had me going in circles because “they don’t handle claims” and gave me a phone number to call. I call the # on 6/24 explaining the issue filing a claim. I call 7/17 after not receiving any update. Their response was that they show the package delivered and I would need to file a claim!?!?
I explain the entire ordeal of my lost package for the 4th time and every step I’ve taken thus far with names/dates/times for the rep to “initiate” a claim. On 7/25 I receive an email for me to upload photos of the home delivery address. I uploaded a screenshot of the FedEx delivery photo with a red X and uploaded 2 photos of my mother’s home which looks nothing like the FedEx photo. Today 7/30 I receive an email denying my claim! I can’t believe this is happening over $100 value and $20.26 shipping charge and photos that prove their drivers are idiots who delivered and lost my package to an unknown home!! How is FedEx getting away with losing packages and not taking responsibility??? They should be shut down based on all the reviews I’m reading. Original Review: I've reached my boiling point and will be posting this review everywhere possible. I've always had a great experience with my FedEx shipping location service members, however too many times (business and personal) shipment packages are being lost and/or delayed due to shipping errors over the past 3 years of my experience. I literally had my package delivered to an unknown home the same week my fiancé's package got on a truck north to NY when it was suppose to go 45 min south in FL! His experience with FedEx customer service was as bad as mine but his finally made it to the destination yet very late and cost him in sale revenue. My shipment is still not resolved and I feel they purposely delay and put you through circles in hopes you give up.
1- I reported the missing package via online tracking 6/18 after seeing an unknown home of delivery.2- FedEx texts 6/21 instructed me to visit my shipper if package is still missing.
3- I visit my FedEx shipper 6/21 explaining issues showing unknown home photo and a photo of my mother's home and they said there is nothing they can do and gave me a # to call.
4- I call FedEx customer service 6/24, explain the entire ordeal again and they processed a claim and will be in touch.
5- Going on a month with no update from FedEx, I call 7/17 and the automated system says the claim # doesn't exist.
6- I Speak with a person 7/17 who states I was given a "trace ID" and no claim was processed! I explain the entire frustrating process I've gone through thus far now losing patience.
7- FedEx rep now files claim "request" and has no confirmation to give me, says to watch my email for claim information.
...to be continued...using UPS going forward since I've never had shipping issues with them but sometimes their pricing is higher (get what you pay for in this scenario).

FEDEX is like dealing with the DMV, bumper to bumper traffic in a car with no A/C with the windows rolled up on a 100 degree day all at the same time. They can't be bothered to try and accommodate anyone who actually has a job and works. Or maybe they say they will, then don't. Or they say they can help you out, for even more money than what they have already charged. Called three times about the same problem on the same day (within about 3 hours of each other) and received three different replies, none of which will get me my package and it will be returned to the company who shipped it to me. So not only did they not get me my package, it will end up costing me more money to try and get my items, all because they can't be bothered to follow simple instructions.

Driver showed up 3 days in a row without leaving a door tag until the last day for an item that has to be signed so I didn't know they were even here until the last day. So I called them and got it scheduled for delivery the next day at 2:30. I took off a half day of work for to wait for this package but it never showed up. So I called the New Haven Indiana FedEx depo to figure out what was going on and the guy Steven that was there said the package never made it on a truck but he promised me it would be the first delivery the next day and be here by 9:30 in the morning and here we are at 11 with no package yet and I had to leave my house a 1hr ago but here I am waiting for them to finally do the job they were paid to do.
I called the New Haven facility again and Courtney there was no help, she couldn't tell me anything and help at all, really just a waste of time talking to her or Steven. Both of them suggested to maybe just come pick the package up, yes let me do the job that I paid you guys to do for me! Fedex is joke, I'll never use them again. All I ever hear about FedEx anymore is how bad they are. And I'm starting to see for myself now. UPS and USPS 10x better.

I ordered a rear glass for my truck and the seller shipped it by FedEx. On the day of delivery I get a message saying my shipment was damaged. Now I have to wait on the replacement and drive the truck with plastic over where my glass should be. Thanks for the huge inconvenience fedex.

Fedex is the absolute WORST! If I could give no stars I would have. I received a text message confirming my package would be delivered yesterday July 11th between 10:30am-2:30pm and that my signature would be required. I take the day off from work and they never showed, so at 2:30pm I checked my updates and my delivery time had changed to by the end of the day.
My package never came yesterday so I called fedex today to inquire and the rep confirms that my package was supposed to be delivered yesterday and then she tells me because it was a fedex residential package they have up to 5 days to deliver it. I get they have 5days to deliver but my question to her was why was I sent a message to be there to sign for the package if it wasn't going to be delivered and where is the package currently and her response to me was your package is at the distribution location and I would be updated once it's placed back on a truck which would could take up to 48hrs. My package was on a truck out for delivery yesterday and now it's back in the warehouse and I must wait 48hrs for an update. This is completely unacceptable!

Fedex deserves zero stars. They have a long, long history of poor service, before the pandemic, outside of weather events, they are just incredibly bad at what they do. Their recent failure for me was to lose a 75 pound $500 AC unit, which I had ordered to be delivered before the weather got to 100°. Unfortunately it was shipped through fedex, so I was likely never going to get it. The Troutdale Oregon hub is probably the worst hub of its type in the world. This is where packages go to die.

I ordered a replacement phone through AT&T yesterday morning. I was sent an email that it was out for delivery today and that I'd receive my package at 5pm. 5pm came, no package so I waited until 8pm. It was 5 minutes until 8pm and they sent another notification saying there was a delay stating they weren’t able to ship it to me because of shipper restrictions…. What the hell do you mean? I’m certain you knew about these ”restrictions“ before telling my phone company you could get the job done..

Fedex is terrible. I ordered perishable items and the business I ordered from shipped 2-3 day FedEx...except I got the perishable items, completely perished after 7 days after an unbelievable amount of tracking craziness and it sitting four days in a sorting facility nearby. Couldn't get a human on the phone so I put in a complaint with BBB because it was just so insanely unnecessary to be that bad and keep my items for so long nearby but not let me pick it up (it was already late when it arrived here and I knew my food wasn't gonna survive longer but couldn't get a hold of anyone).
The package itself arrived damaged with stains from the by then rotten food. The tracking was incredibly unreliable and wouldn't update but then would update and then change and then say contradictory things after it updated and then somehow magically straightened out to one smooth thing after I got my items. A smooth and total lie. This is THE WORST company. They can only be going out of business. I wish I could give a negative review.

I have had several bad experiences with FedEx deliveries. In January, a driver stopped to deliver a package. There was a small snow row of at the foot of my driveway from the town plow. (Maybe 8" high) FedEx driver got out of his truck, package in hand, looked at the teeny bit of snow, and tossed my package about 6 feet into a snow bank next to my mailbox. When I confronted him about it he said, "You should have shoveled this. You knew I was coming."
Today, I get a notification they could not deliver a package because we weren't home....except we were. In fact, we cancelled plans to make sure we were here. Looked back at security cam and driver came to the door with no packages, looked at the door, jiggled the handle, tore off a failed delivery sticker and stuck it to the door, and left. Elapsed time...19 Seconds. Did not ring the doorbell, did not knock! This is just the most recent ones. It's so bad, I have started telling anyone I order from that if it come's FedEx, I will refuse delivery and stop payment!

The worst experience ever. Fedex refused to deliver. (Driver can not back-up to the building.) Didn't call, nothing. They contacted my shipper asking who is going to pay for shipping goods back from Canada to Arizona USA. I offered to unload the trailer on the street. If I could give zero stars I would! My goodness. FedEx. FedEx drivers are so terrible, they keep delivering my bi-weekly package to my neighbour's house. Even though I have left detailed delivery instructions, even though those instructions are in BIG, BOLD LETTERS ON THE BOX!!! Let alone this past week when my box was left open and tipped over! They give zero cares. I’m lucky that I am able bodied and can go track down my package, what if I wasn’t? What if I was elderly or disabled??? My package just gets to sit out in the sun and rot?? Come on #Fedex. Do better. I have called every single time to complain and nothing changes. They promise to open a case…They promise a supervisor will call, they have never called. I’m going to end up not ordering these boxes anymore because the delivery company can’t get their act together.

Very terrible service, false estimated time, no show, wasted day waiting! Fedex says early estimate time of delivery, on Jul 05, 2024, 10 - 3:30pm. Check track says on its way. All day its says on its way. 3:30pm past, now say by end of day. Waited all eveing, no show, but tracking still says by end of day! Wasted my whole day and was late for work! Next day gave me estimate time of arrival, 10:30 - 2:30pm, waited all day, no show! Again past 2:30pm, now say by end of day again! Waiting all day, still now show! This is the worst Fedex ever!
I will never do business with them if I can avoid it! Support your local Post Office if you can. False estimate time of delivery, very bad communication! A heavy package has been delivered/dumped to wrong address. This is main St and package if staying there, it can be stolen anytime, it has been there for a few days, this is second time that a very heavy package is delivered by FedEx here and it seems that delivery people dumping heavy stuff to easy addresses to avoid delivery to less easy addresses or returning the package. Very bad service.

Over the last 2 years less than 10% of FedEx deliveries have been made on time. Packages have been marked delivered when they were not. Delivery pictures instead of showing my front door show a box on a snow bank that could be anywhere. The last delivery was thrown out of the truck into a grove of trees next to the street where I found it after a long search. Whenever I have a choice of shipping company I choose anyone but FedEx. Total screwups.

Got a FedEx text message that there’s attempted delivery of my package, but nobody to receive it, and will be delivered the next business day. I called Customer Service to complain because I was waiting for the package, and there was no FedEx truck that came. It turned out that they weren’t intending to deliver my package today, because of the “volume of deliveries after the holiday”. My package wasn’t even on the truck!!! They tell you, “be there between 10AM and 2pm," then 2:30 they text you, “good news your package will be there tomorrow.” Glad I waited at the door all day. Out of Usps, Ups, Amazon and Fedex Fedex is hands down the worst. Shipping company packages are almost always late and a lot of the time damage like they just throw them around. I'll often get messages from them in the middle of the day saying that delivery was attempted and a fedex truck never came by. Have had numerous packages lost where the sellers have overnighted my stuff to make it right. For such a large company it seems like they are poorly managed and just don't care. From here on out if a seller ships through fedex I'm going elsewhere to buy my stuff.

FedEx totally sucks. They were scheduled to deliver a computer from Amazon on the 8th. Without any notice they delivered it on the 5th and when I checked on the 8th it was nowhere to be found. On the 5th they supposedly delivered it but did not ring my bell or send a text, or send an email so I had no idea the package had supposedly arrived on that date! I went to their website to see what POD they had and it was a distant picture of my driveway with no parcel in sight!! They refused to take responsibility for this negligent customer service which resulted in my parcel never reaching me.

Please tell your drivers to slow down in apartment complexes that have their own private roadway systems -- systems that are often flanked by apartments on one side on the roadway and enclosed garages/carports on the other. When I pull out (backward) from my garage, I am pulling out blind and have to trust other drivers to control their car's speed and position in the roadway. Even rearview cameras and rearview mirrors are ineffective until a point when my car's position reaches a certain distance outside the garage. And so I take it very slowly.
Almost all other drivers will see me pulling out slowly and will stop to allow me to pull all the way out safely without incident. The speed limit within the apartment complex is 10mph. Yet FedEx drivers (as well as other delivery carriers) ignore these safety concerns and speed through the complex. The other day, as I was pulling out, a FedEx driver raced right past me as I was pulling out, squeezed past me, and did not extend to me the courtesy of stopping for just a few seconds to let me out. Fortunately, we were still just a couple feet apart when he zoomed right past me; but it could have been more serious. Tell your drivers to please take this concern seriously! Otherwise, property and people could be damaged and hurt.

Every time I ordered from a company that ships via Fed Ex I get a text from Fed Ex saying it will be delivered on a certain day. Every time I get a text saying they tried to deliver the package and will try again the next day. This is not true! They never tried to deliver the package. I have even had them text me and tell me it was delivered when it wasn’t. One time I was told that the driver does that because it was on his truck to be delivered but he ran out of time and it would be delivered the next day. Not only is this lying to both the buying customer but also lying to their corporate customer. Customer service is no help and even when they say they will have someone from the local distribution center call, they never do. I’m about to refuse to buy from any company that uses Federal Express for delivery.

The window was an hour for delivery. I checked again 10 minutes later and saw it had been delayed. How? Called immediately and was told the driver noted it as wrong address. They checked, correct address. This was within 15 minutes of the scheduled delivery being changed. We all know damn well they could have communicated with the driver to return and deliver. My wife was home, they had not even attempted delivery. 5 hours later not a single update but it would be delivered the day after the holiday by 5pm. That is not customer service. They could have solved the issue, they chose not to. I will now switch carriers for my business and ensure I never use them again. So disappointed. If you guarantee something, deliver on it, literally and figuratively.

Earlier this year, we were waiting for Broadway in Boston tickets to be delivered via FedEx. It required a signature to receive the envelope. Despite the fact that someone is home all day every day, they sent messages three days in a row that they had tried to deliver the envelope and that they were returning the package to the sender. Customer service was less than helpful. I spoke to a manager who was able to get the facility holding my package hostage to at least deliver to one of their more local places so that I could pick it up.
Fast Forward to now...Two packages from two different companies were supposedly delivered to my home on Monday. WRONG! Two packages addressed to me were delivered SOMEWHERE on Monday. One of the items had to be signed for, so I think we've figured out where these two packages went, at least. Our house is incredibly easy to find and there is NO reasonable explanation for why these items weren't delivered as promised and paid for. I won't shop at companies who use FedEx anymore. I'm all set, thank you!

My FedEx delivery person has started delivering all packages to our small road by dropping them in the grass alongside the main road that connects with our road. Other neighbors have also found their FEDEX packages tossed along the road here in Greensboro, Vermont. This is a fairly new problem and customer service at the Carrier Delivery office of this area needs to correct it immediately before passers-by start stealing the packages off the main road. Of course, no phone number supplied connects me to a responsible supervisor.

I have signs outside my garage doors that state, "Do not leave packages here, please take to the front door." FedEx drivers obviously cannot read because they will drop them off in front of the sign and then take a picture showing it was delivered. All they have to do is back their truck up a little further and walk it 25 feet to my front door that way my children or wife do not have to search for it when I go out of town. Chewy needs to drop them like a hot potato. I also sell on eBay and refuse to use them to deliver my packages. I have had so many damaged packages arrive at my house by FedEx.

They tried to deliver a package a day before I was told it would be delivered. No one told me it was signature release and ground service has no time frames. So I was psychically supposed to be home all day without going anywhere so I can sign for it. If I am not home whenever the driver is around my home without notice, and after 3 attempts will be brought to the warehouse where I am a small woman would have to pick up a 50 lb package that won’t fit in my car. I spent 3 hrs trying to talk to people in some country who wants to just get rid of me with nonsensical Answers or no answers at all.

Absolutely the worst shipping service. Tracking is never correct, call customer service and they can't actually track your package. Drivers mark "delivery attempted but could not deliver" even when you are there to receive the package. Twice our packages have been returned citing business closed. We have been open for 5 years. "Profit first, customer service last" that has to be their mission statement. Their performance is testament that they just don't care about their customers.

Twice I had to tell the bank to send my card regular mail, because FedEx never brought my package, saying nobody was home, while I was waiting for them outside. Then told by customer service that you can not complain!!! I would like UPS or regular mail (NOT FEDEX). Stay away if you can.

This company, FedEx, is a lying, thief company. I bought a new Coleman Cooler and new plastic containers to send my brother my homemade spaghetti sauce and meatballs and I made him our grandmother's cookies. I took it all to FedEx, I bought a large, green bubble wrap and 3 bags of the p-nuts. The Cooler was wrapped with the bubble wrap, the plastic containers with cookies were wrapped in plastic wrap so they wouldn't accidentally open.
When the package arrived in Twinsburg, Ohio, FedEx sent me an email that the package was damaged and they threw it away. I called several times and nobody could give me any information about the package, no pictures were taken and nobody knew anything. My brother lives about 45 minutes away he could have gone to pick it up. But, in the meantime I was told they should have taken a picture, and deliver it anyway to see if he would accept it anyway. None of that was done. How is a new Cooler, new plastic containers be destroyed to the point of them throwing it away and no pictures.
I sent FedEx a copy of the receipts I paid for the delivery, the cost of all the containers and the cost of the ingredients. They totally denied my claim. Their people packed the merchandise and their people destroyed the merchandise. Why are they not responsible for my package and an explanation of what happened???? I would NOT recommend this company to anyone in this world. The more I can send bad remarks about this company I will definitely do that. I'm telling all you people, do not use or trust this company. They are liars and thieves. They also don't take responsibility for their employees.

These idiots destroyed 4 packages and lost 1. When the person arrived to deliver the packages it appeared as though they had dropped them off the back of the truck. Everything was damaged and he said just file a claim and took pictures of all the destroyed boxes. When I began the claim they made the process incredibly difficult and insulting. FedEx is the most worthless delivery company on the planet! Their drivers are so lazy they will just toss a package anywhere and speed off. They don’t care if it’s tossed on the ground where anybody can see it from the road, or even left out exposed to the rain. I have quit dealing with companies because they use FedEx for delivery. If more companies would use UPS or USPS, your package will be delivered and placed in a safe location.

I paid for a 2 day delivery on a birthday gift on june 19 to get to TX.. Cost me $175.00 and it still sitting in Memphis Tennessee facility since then till now. Definitely a bad experience for me. Should had gone with USPS. Thought Fedex is reliable.. Now make me think twice.

Had an order that was misdelivered by Fed Ex. Tried to hit “missing package” on the tracking site and it just kept coming up “unable to complete at this time”. Tried calling and even though I said representative multiple times they would never connect me. Recording asked what was the problem. I said package was delivered to wrong address. They promptly told me that in order to change the address, I would have to reach out to shipper to change the address. I didn’t want to change the address as the address was correct but the courier didn’t leave it at the address on the label. No matter how hard I tried they just kept hanging up on me and wouldn’t let me talk to a representative. Great way to cut costs I guess... They probably don’t pay anyone to address customer concerns. I’ll make sure I don’t make any future orders with any company that uses FedEx as their deliverer.

I have nothing good to say about FedEx. From driver stealing my package to lying about delivery, no human to talk to about a problem not listed, package not on the truck when it finally shows up (2 days late). I wish more companies provided options for shipping partners. I'll gladly pay more for UPS service, even over my local USPS (they are horrible also but better than FedEx). If I have to ship anything, I'll drive it myself before choosing FedEx.

May 26 I scheduled a pickup from the majestic Mirage Resort in Dominican republic. The package stayed in a FedEx facility for 2 weeks then went back to the hotel for not having an account number for billing and then they charged me for taking it back. Tracking number was **. A case was open to locate the package case number ** is now closed because the package was delivered to the hotel. I scheduled a new pickup tracking number ** that was picked up July 17th. I have called several times to try to get this refund issue resolved and the customer service representatives refuse to look up the case number and continue to inform me the package was delivered to my address. I was assured it would not be a problem since it was a delivery service failure.

FedEx truck came real early. He was supposed to come or she was supposed to come between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and I was out there on every hour of checking, watching the status on my phone. The truck came like 1:15. Didn't even ring the outside Bell to get into the apartment complex and just took off and left and he still had plenty of time to recircle and bring the package back because the time was between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and he was there way before 3:00 p.m. That is horrible. Now I have to wait till tomorrow. That is not good.

Have an employee on-site with a customer and I priority overnighted some parts that were needed. Customer and employee were literally waiting in the parking lot for the delivery and then we get a notification that the delivery status is "We tried to deliver" stating "Customer not available or business closed". How they can claim they made any attempt to deliver our package while we have multiple people outside waiting for the truck to show up is ridiculous. FedEx charges a fortune for overnight and then doesn't even try to deliver your goods.

FedEx damaged my home property in an attempt to deliver a package that was not for me but was for my neighbor, and the driver actually admitted bad behavior and poor decision making, after bringing the issue to the CEOs office, they said “sue us”. My experience is not unusual for FedEx, but this company needs to change their ways or at some point the public will recognize to stay away from them and go to other shippers which are a better choice. FedEx service really depends on your driver. We had the best driver for the last 2 years - he left and now the current drivers can't read, don't care and do the least they can get away with. We have a FedEx account that specifically informs the drivers to deliver to the porch or deck. We live in a rural area and it is 1/4 mile from our front gate to the house. Additionally we are senior citizens that depend on many products to be delivered. Had a problem, so I had a sign printed and put on the front gate. "All Deliveries to House - DO NOT leave at Gate." Yesterday the FedEx driver left 10 bags of kittie litter, right under the sign and it was raining! Called the vendor and told them to switch our deliveries to UPS - they couldn't so we had to drop the vendor. Calls, emails, online, nothing seems to work for FedEx to get better service!

I send my daughter packages to NYC, twice within one week. First driver did what he was suppose to when delivered the package the first time. Second time was a nightmare. It took a whole day to find the package. These driver who work for your company got your business looking really bad. Driver came to the building. Shipment was delayed in Charlotte NC for three days. When it was finally delivered the reason for the delay was obvious. The shipping container (box) was completely destroyed, exposing contents, and had to be re-taped. A claim for damage was submitted and denied because I need a waiver from the shipper to file a claim. Airline luggage handlers were sanctioned for abuse of customers' property, why not FedEx.

Holy smacks...How bad can follow-up get? We have had them not answer e-mails and calls for over a year in one instance. Today's floundering consisted of 2 of their people confirming that a delivery they screwed up initially would show up at a certain point the next day. 2 of their people confirmed this. Did I mention that two separate people confirmed that the delivery would show up the next day on time? Guess what just happened...no show. Booo. God you guys are just atrocious. Fedex's website showed me a $28.93 bill to mail a package. After I mailed the package, I get a email stating that the price is now $372.51. I never agreed to pay that price, and I've mailed over 500 merchandise packages before and never had a billing problem like this (especially for a 10x price increase)! I have found Fedex's billing practice to be dishonest and deceptive. Fedex falsely advertise one price on their website and charged me 10x higher in cost. Fedex's customer service is also unwilling to fix the situation and does not acknowledge a problem. I'm horrified by Fedex's deceptive and dishonest billing practices. I will be sure to avoid Fedex in the future. Don't let this happen to you.

I took a day off work to wait for a delivery I had to sign for and when I check the status online it says “delivery attempted” yet no one drove up, rang my doorbell nothing. I needed this package before the weekend and because of their so called attempt I now have to wait till Monday. Customer support basically just says “oh well deal with it”. If it were up to me I would never use FedEx as a delivery service but unfortunately that was the only option I had.

I ordered a package from outside the country, the company shipped it expedited to get it by a Friday. FedEx notifies me it was delayed to Saturday. Then tells me delayed to Monday. I bought this item for a week long vacation I leave for on Sunday. Management can’t help me, they won’t hold the package at a location I can go pick it up, and I’m asking their team what to do because I want this package now, I’ll drive to wherever in my state to pick it up. They can’t help me, won’t help me, no alternative suggestions. This company is terrible, anyone still doing business through them needs to move over to UPS. Worst package issue I’ve ever dealt with, at least USPS is willing to work with you whatever the situation. UPS also. Not these clowns.

After they read the note on the front gate they drove around the corner to my backyard and dumped it in the street!!! Not even In my yard! I'm 71 yrs old, female, with a bad back!!! We have a FedEx driver who refuses, for no reason known to us, to bring our packages to our front porch. We live in a rural area in MS on twenty acres of land. He drives to random areas of the property to leave the packages, sometimes as far away from the house as 1/4 mi. We keep our dogs inside when we know we have a delivery, and with previous drivers we have always walked outside to meet them. This person basically does a drive by. The manager at the McComb MS distribution center managers is aware of the problem, and I was assured by a lady in his office that the situation would be resolved and the driver would come to our actual house. That didn’t happen. Twice I was told that I would get a call from the manager, and that also do not happen. I’ve been told FedEx hires people no one else wants and now I absolutely believe that is true.

It’s impossible to get in contact with anyone. The company lied and said they tried to deliver a package. No one delivered anything. My doorbell camera is proof. They won’t let me pick up my package and it’s impossible to reach a live person. Because of them I’m switching from Xfinity to Verizon. Let Xfinity deal with losing customers until they have enough of losing people over FED EX LYING about delivering and attempting to deliver. I have no pets and live in an apartment complex.

FedEx used to set the high standard. Not anymore. Amazon is King, letting you know exactly where your package is and when to expect it. FedEx just keeps moving the timeline along based on what works for them. For example, I had a package expected to arrive today by 2:30pm. Now the status was inconveniently changed to "end of day". This is the 3rd delivery in a row that FedEx played this game. I want to be home when the package is supposed to arrive to avoid package theft. Get your act together FedEx, or someone else will come along and dethrone you.

Updated on 06/05/2024: The horror is still going on. Contacted International customer service and multiple FedEx stations on the way to accelerate the parcel. The system is built in the way that customer can not be and will not be helped. As of today, the documents parcel send from USA to Belgrade Serbia is still not delivered, 16 days after the shipment. Do not us FedEx to ship internationally.

I was working in my garage when a FedEx driver dropped off a package on my porch. When I went to check if it was the shop parts I was waiting for, I realized it wasn't even addressed to my address. I yelled after him to flag him down but he didn't stop. His delivery was way off and the address wasn't even close to my own. My wife and I ran it to who it was actually addressed to who lived way out in the country. It's sad that we were able to find the address when someone whose job it is to do so couldn't.

Courier arrives at home. Delivered nothing and left. Posted a picture of a diff house which was white as proof of delivery. I have a green home. Customer service was less than helpful. I just sat on the phone for over 15 minutes for the customer service representative by the name of Jin to tell me that she couldn't do anything for a package that the facility lost. I was calling regarding a package we ship to a guest that has been waiting on their package since 5/13/24 to be shipped and it's been delay since 5/16/24. I never received a message about the package nor told that it was lost at one their facilities. I called customer service to see if they could resolve or at least help find the package since it's something of sentimental value. When I called all, I was told information I already and that they couldn't help. Only thing they could was get us to put in a claim. I ask Jin could she at least provide me with a Hyperlink so I could give it to guest, and she told me to just look on FedEx.com. I repeat this was very unhelpful, unorganized, and poor representation of what professional company should be ran.

We paid FedEx extra to ensure early delivery by 8:30 AM today. The tracking then indicated by "End of Day". This was a bid that must arrive by 10:00 AM to be considered. When I called customer service (which took several minutes to get to a representative), the representative told me that "due to high package volume" the package would arrive by 11:20 AM (too late for the bid to be considered). AND, to make it even better, I couldn't file for a refund until AFTER the package was delivered. I will never use FedEx again.

Delivery jerk left my package at the wrong porch. Photo is not my porch so the photo is proof. No customer service to report to. Just a virtual dead end menu. I am on crutches and cannot get to my package even though I can see it on another porch. Someone is checking it out and coming back to take it away. I am yelling at them. They leave and come back. I yell again. I don't know how long I can keep this up. I left message at FedEx, no live person to talk to to prevent theft in time. This is the same jerk who delivered wrong before.

Most recently I have been waiting for a package that shipped 2 weeks ago with no estimated delivery date. I ordered a part and was offered 2 day delivery for a substantial up charge. First estimate was the next day then it went 2 days out which is what I paid for, then I get notified that the package won't arrive for almost a week. After hrs trying to get an answer I finally got to speak with a manager that informed me that there was nothing he could do and that if I didn't like it I could try and file a claim. FedEx's shipping, handling and tracking systems are the the most pitifully systems of any of their competitors. I have a package that has been in the system for over a week and is five days past the expected delivery date. The package was shipped from Mississippi to Indiana, it went to Nashville, TN and then to Maryland. Now is in KY (according to the FedEx tracking system). I've tried contacting customer service and could never get past the virtual assistant, without paying for the pleasure of having someone feed me a bunch of bull.

I have cancer and a new script must be written each month for my medication because it is a tier 5 black box drug. I arranged with the pharmacy on a Thursday to have it delivered on Friday or Saturday. They said they will use next day delivery and it will be delivered on Friday. Friday comes and I get a text message from FedEx that my meds have been delayed and will be delivered on Monday of the next week. I clicked on the tracking link to see where it was. They sent the package from Delaware to Philly to Memphis. I live in Ohio and found that route puzzling. I called customer service and, after figuring out how to talk to someone, said Monday isn't going to cut it. I have to have the meds by Sunday to start my chemo cycle on time. They said they would look into it. I checked later Friday to see where it was and it had arrived late in Detroit. I thought no problem, if they get it to me on Saturday, I can still start the chemo cycle on time.
On Saturday, it was still in Detroit. Three calls to customer "service" was a total waste of time. They gave me all kinds of excuses, including that it was still in transit because of an issue with the plane (even though it was showing in the Detroit airport), the truck broke down (apparently FedEx can only afford to use one truck), the sorting machine was broken (I guess FedEx has no one local to fix their one sorting machine), my local sorting facility was closed on Sunday (doesn't matter, it never made it there), blah blah blah. It was like listening to Jake Blues tell Carrie Fisher's character in "The Blues Brothers" why he missed their wedding.
I asked if I could just drive to the airport and pick it up myself. It wasn't that far and I really needed them by Sunday, so the time spent on the road wasn't as important as starting my chemo cycle on time. Nope, I wasn't allowed to do that. I was told I'll have to wait until Monday, where the delivery will be expedited. Seriously? It was sent using overnight delivery, but you'll expedite things at FedEx's schedule? Give me a break. It is still sitting at the Detroit airport and I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow, so there is a chance I won't be home for their "expedited" delivery. I'm not sure what I do then, since my doctor's appointment may turn into a hospital stay (trust me when I say this - having cancer sucks, and sucks a lot.
In 2024, I shouldn't have to deal with such terrible service). Apparently, next day service for FedEx is 4 days. If you want something sooner, you are better off using the Pony Express or even carrier pigeons. FedEx is terrible. They don't care and just give lip service. Their motto should be, "When it absolutely, positively has to get there when we feel like getting it there."

I waited for my delivery from FedEx because I was refusing the delivery. I go out to the truck and the person brings out this little box. I had ordered a 5x8 rug so I said that is not mine. To top it off they are hiring people that speak no english and don't understand english. This was definitely my lucky day. Welcome to the new USA. Anyway, the person kept trying to give me every package when the address was not even close and it definitely wasn't mine. I kept telling the person I am refusing this shipment. Finally the person brings out their phone and has to have it translate to english. Is there anyone left that knows how to do their job? Try to hire qualified people that have a brain.

My delivery was to take a couple of days coming from CA to AZ (about 500 miles) but when it got to AZ it was sent to NY? It then had to be returned to AZ where it was (according to the the tracking) loaded on a truck and tagged as "out for delivery" at 0604 hours, but at 1603 it was tagged as "operational delay" and to be delivered on Monday of next week. It was expected on 9 May, then 10 May but because it was being returned from NY it was now 17 May but because of "operational delays" it is now being promised on Monday 20 May! Almost 2 weeks for a delivery of about 500 mile or from California to Arizona which is next to each other????

FedEx - what the hell! Why do we now have FedEx delivery drivers saying they delivered a package to the house when they clearly did not? When tracking the package, they show a picture of the "delivery" however the picture is of the floor inside the FedEx truck and no package in the picture at all. This was yesterday. It also happened to my neighbor yesterday as well - her picture shows the steps of the FedEx truck - no package in site there either. So saying you delivered packages when clearly you are lying, is insane! I spent hours trying to get to speak to a human at FedEx yesterday - no such luck. The claim for package was automated and so were the results - nobody cares at FedEx.
Then I checked the mailbox stands at the end of the street next to a road. Nothing there either. I left to run errands and when I returned about an hour later, there were the packages AT THE MAILBOX AREA. NEXT TO A ROAD. Not at the houses where they should have been! Now if the person they were delivered to came by and returned them - then thank you to thank person.
If FedEx found them and returned them then why did they leave them at the mailbox? Anyone could have picked those up and absconded with them. Talk about porch pirates getting it made easy for them! And although this happened to my neighbor and myself yesterday, last week FedEx left packages at the mailbox as well. Those people got messages "package delivered" and they have to go in search of it - again photos of the inside of the FedEx truck as "proof" of delivery. This is unacceptable. I suggest FedEx starts monitoring their drivers and start delivering correctly- that is what we pay for!

FedEx keeps getting worse since new ownership last year. I ship everyday. They used to deliver about 10-10:30 a.m. Then pickup after 3:00p.m. Now they don't deliver until right before they pick up. Not to mention the packages look like they were dragged behind the truck the whole way. It doesn't even look like a box anymore. To top it off if you have multiple packages coming from the same place. Good luck getting them on the same day. Maybe you will get 4 or 5 out of 6 boxes shipped. Then the last one will show up the next day or the day after that. And good luck trying to get a phone number for your local hub to get an answer. Going downhill fast. UPS might cost a little more, but they care and are professional about how they conduct themselves.

I am very disappointed with Fedex, I pay to have my packages shipped and they always leave it on the next street over. I shouldn’t have to go looking for my packages. They had them redeliver this last package and they was very rude. I hope they lose their contract. I’m sick of this.

I would not recommend FedEx for anyone who is waiting on a package And that is important. Hundred and fifty dollars for shipping and the times and days are all wrong. They suck. Not reliable at all. I would rather use us post office.

I ordered a part from JP auto and they sent it through FedEx. They said it was delivered. When I looked at the tracking info the stupid driver delivered it to the wrong place. The house in the picture looks nothing like my house. I have deliveries here all the time no problem. Leave it to fedex to screw things up. Customer service sucks and they said the company sending product has to File the claim even though it's your money and your part that didn't get received. Avoid fedex for shipping at all cost.

I have complained to management and written honest reviews about FedEx for about a year now. When is it ok to tell customers their items are on the truck for delivery when they aren't? I found out from my usual driver, not enough room for them. I mentioned that if it was a different driver on Sat, he won't even attempted it. This company has wasted our time by sending out false messages. This shows the lack of integrity of the management down to some of the drivers. My usual driver is a woman & very good at following instructions on the packages. Lets look at the obvious, she is a woman. Well I have provided local #'s to the AIR CARGO BLVD address in Great Falls MT on other reviews to voice your complaints.
We are their customers and if we didn't purchase from the companies that utilize them, they wouldn't have a job! End on day 1, just got a message saying my shipment is delayed due to OPERATIONAL ISSUES! My stuff NEVER LEFT the Air Cargo facility. Why didn't they send a message this morning stating ***due to operational issues delivery of your package is delayed*** rather than sending 3 messages stating it was on the truck and will be delivered before end of day? I and others, probably would be less pissed off! Below is the history of my packages. Can't say it enough. ***You knew it wasn't on the truck the first morning, so why send messages saying it was. Management, if your deliveries don't fit on the route truck then maybe YOU need to deliver them!!!
DAY 2, SAT. THIS MORNING MESSAGES "ON THE TRUCK TO BE DELIVERED TODAY". Instructions for the driver, were to CALL ME SO I CAN LET THEM IN THE BUILDING!! After waiting all day again, I received a message UNDELIVERABLE. The LAZY driver didn't even stop here, left nothing on the front doors. Apparently when you are hired by Fedex, they don't look for stupidity or laziness. Next step ****This gets better and better. After the delivery driver said UNDELIVERABLE! I called the service #. The rep said she contacted the depot manager & they contacted the driver, gave him my # & told him to deliver it. I clarified with the rep. I said "he's coming back today?" She said "yes he knows you're waiting." HE NEVER SHOWED!! So, either the service girl lied or the manager lied to her. Advice, don't do a survey unless you have a result right then. Now she has a good survey for a job not done.

Talking to a person is near impossible. No one will offer help. The person I spoke with just repeated the same thing over and over again. Now my package has been delivered to the wrong house. Will never use this to send packages because the company is inept.

4 out of 5 of my deliveries are always late. They always come up with excuses including shipping the wrong item. Lack of communication among themselves ended up 3 carriers knocking on my door when the first one already picked up the wrong package.

They are absolutely terrible. The delivery sucks. They waste their time paying employees to go deliver when no one's home. Then they waste my time trying to figure out when they're coming. What is the point of this stupid company. They probably miss out on more money than make it. You think they were smart enough to figure this out. But go ahead and get terrible reviews so less people use it and continue to pay employees to go to people's homes for no reason. This if I could give a negative star I would. This place is ran horrible and shouldn't even be open. Very disorganized and unprofessional. It's a shame how lazy and stupid people can be when it comes to being a part of society and working for one another

Package was a 2 Express Refrigerate package. At FedEx 630 am. Too late. Truck left already and they didnt send it out on another truck. They had all day to do it. Now next day it still sits at fed ex. 24hr after they received it at delivery hub.

Updated on 05/11/2024: *Followup from yesterday review* Day four waiting for my FedEx "express" time sensitive money package.... After three days of rearranging my daily schedule to be home and available to sign for the package (11:10am to 3:10pm), it was cancelled again. Yesterday evening, I received another text saying it will be delivered on Saturday, May 11, 2025 between 11:10am to 3:10pm. I called and spoke to a customer service "supervisor" who advised she would call the terminal manager my package was at, after I advised I was willing to drive out of state to pick it up personally. She promised either are or the terminal manager would call me back. "Crickets"
Again, on the fourth day of rearranging my day to be available from 11:10am to 3:10pm to be home and sign for the package. 1:30pm I checked the tracking status that said delivery canceled and the package never left the terminal. I called customer service and spoke to another supervisor who couldn't explain anything other than the package would not be delivered today. I know things happen, definitely understand a single day delay, two days, ok,...but four days? Without a trace of knowledge who, where, what, or why a single package had not reached its destination now going on 5 days of canceled deliveries. Monday will be day 7. "Bravo" FedEx!
Original Review: Sender sent time sensitive money express package, originated on Monday, May 06 2024. On Tuesday, May 07, 2024 tracking showed package received at processing terminal and labeled generated in Columbia, SC. Morning of Wednesday, May 08, 2024 tracking updated it was in transit to Lexington, SC terminal. Thursday, May 09, 2024 tracking updated it was in transit to Spartanburg, SC and will be delivered no later than 8:00pm. I called customer service that afternoon to request an approximate time for delivery. The customer service rep. stated the package was on a truck and out for delivery and "definitely" will be delivered no later than 8:00pm. At approximately 8:00pm I receive a text message updating that the package is delayed and will not be delivered.
On Friday, May 10, 2024 at 833am I received a text message that the package was out for delivery and will be delivered between 11:10am and 3:10pm. At 4:30pm I called FedEx customer service who was very professional, though could not provide information on the status of the package, other than the package will be delivered no later than 8:00pm. Still, no package.
****Apparently, FedEx does not appreciate my time as a customer, as I've waisted three days arranging my schedule to be at my residence so I can sign for the package. YOU WANT TO KNOW THE KICKER?! THE SENDER TO MY PACKAGE IS LESS THAN TWO HOURS AWAY FROM MY RESIDENCE!! "Applauding" FedEx.

I don’t understand how difficult for FedEx drivers to just give a quick call through the access console to request for access to building. After one missed delivery I've called them and asked them to update delivery instructions. No point doing that… They did the same and returned the package to the sender. Ordered some parts for my racecar and got it overnight shipped and the package had a delay due to them messing up the delivery details for my address and then refused to let me pick it up due to them closing an hour later and now I can't go to get my car teched and the deposit for that is non refundable and the overnight shipping price of 300 USD was not worth it and they said it's my shippers fault and my shipper said it's their fault so I'm out the money.

They send messages telling customers when to expect arrival of their packages and then after waiting around all day, the customer is then informed that the package will be delayed and will arrive the next day! I asked the customer service rep about this at my local Virginia Beach FedEx office and their answer was "we have nothing to do with those messages - they are generated from Memphis." Well, that's not an answer - it's an excuse and a poor one at best. FedEx was once a leader in the package delivery business - no more - the fellow who delivers my newspaper provides better service than these folks and is actually friendly, which is much more than I can say for the customer service folks at FedEx.

Again, FedEx Ground driver was too lazy to deliver package. Instead of delivering to MY door as stated on FedEx website, appears to have been dumped at the leasing office door (picture on website). Usually, the driver dumps the packages inside the leasing office (open 10AM to 2PM), leaving it to the tenant to figure out where the package is and collecting their package during office business hours...
When I was in the office before noon, there were 3 FedEx package waiting (I think they were the same packages from when I paid my rent 8 days before) for pick up. (Wonder if they have files missing package claims with vendor.) Luckily, the apartment maintenance man found the package outside the leasing office door (before someone else took it) and was able to give it to me. I've called FedEx twice over the last year about packages 'delivered' to the leasing office, but seem to have been ignored since the driver continues to leave packages at the office (inside and now outside) instead of delivering the packages to the customer's doors.

I wouldn't even give you one star if I didn't have to. Horrible delivery service. I had a package (heavy) delivered today, I get home to my package laying at the furthest corner of my driveway left in the rain instead of on my covered porch. It honestly looked like he backed in and kicked it out of the back of his truck. This was at 10:45 am. After sitting in the rain until I get home (5:30) I go to try and move it (mind you I'm a 50 year old widow, that is 5 foot tall) the box falls apart on me because it was so wet. The metal poles come falling out and slices my thumb open. I'm still trying to get the bleeding to stop. I might need stitches. I think it's really pitiful for a "man" to do that. He gets paid to deliver. So how about delivery with care and properly. If you don't want to do it, get another job. I think from now on if I buy something online I'll check to see what company is delivering. If it's FedEx then I don't need it.

I ordered a love seat from Walmart. They chose FedEx. At 900a a new label was created for my package by FedEx? Since they have a minimal computer minding their phones this question is too hard as to why a new label was created. I am handicapped and have it being delivered to my 2nd floor apartment. This can not even be verified! As a matter of fact the computer hangs up on you if you don't choose one of their 3 options. Even putting in a tracking number won't get you a human! Their computer system is programmed to hang up rather than help!
Who changed a delivery sticker on a package after it's been on the delivery truck 4 hours? Maybe this is the issue so many packages come up missing with this company. The customer service doesn't exist and they care more about keeping customers in the dark than spend a few minutes helping the customer. This is not the first time I've had problems, they "delivered my package to wrong address" only to have it turn up opened and ransacked!

I have been dealing with FedEx on McKinley since January in reference to a $1400 handbag. I have since interacted with the regional manager Brad **. This morning he emailed me and accused me of stealing my own handbag. I’ve never dealt with such dishonesty in my life stay clear FedEx, trying use UPS. These people are the worst but I will continue until I get results. I found the police report today against this terrible company.

Worst delivery experience ever. Had to take off of work multiple times to still receive nothing. Showed up at least an hour and a half after time period given. I went 4mins away on the third day for drink and that time they showed up being extremely rude to my daughter while I was on phone with her. Completely unbelievable service.

FedEx is the worst company on the planet. On my account with them, I need them to put my packages on my back porch. But every time they deliver it to the front porch. I need it delivered to the back porch due to theft. I also have a sign in front stating that all deliveries goes to the back porch. Why do they ask you where would you like it delivered if they are going to put it wherever they like? This company is a joke.

This is the worst company! They have - for the third time - delivered my package to God knows where. Then they send a photo of a box on a deck as proof it was delivered. I don't have any decks! There's no house number in the photo. Then they advise I should run around to my neighbors and look behind bushes. Seriously?? I am a senior with heart & back issues. I have TWENTY house number signs on my property, including a HUGE one at the entrance to my drive. FedEx is costing businesses millions of dollars in issuing refunds for undelivered packages. Plus, I will no longer use a business that uses FedEx.

Someone or the delivery guy opened my package and stole some of my items. The bag was torn apart. So who would leave a package like that knowing it had been opened. Does not recommend FED EX. Thieves are everywhere. It was for my son's college graduation. They took his jacket and shirt. The reactions of the delivery guy was very obvious on camera. He took my items.

Every time I have something important shipped through them it shows up 4 hrs later than their ETA and I continue to lose money having to leave work to get the package and it doesn't arrive anywhere close to on time! This service provider of the so called "ON TIME" delivering the world.. Total laugh. Such a Joke. I have been following up with customer service agents Arie, Amanda, etc. and OH MY GOD! The endless excuses, shipment cannot be located, shipment in a container that cannot be opened until next business day, shipment scanned and in transport.. the list goes on. All the excuses they can provide you in the world.. If they can actually say that your package diverted to hell and back, they would. A 1 star is not even deserved for this shipment. Trust that you would appreciate more your local postal service if you depend your urgent package shipment to this company.
For evidence, tracking number is **.. I am announcing it because I have nothing to hide.. Delivery date expected May 01, 2024, but guess what.. today is May 07, 2024. Should not be your last nor even only resort if you have to choose. Place your package in a box and have it float in the river, might reach destination sooner than using them.

FedEx is absolute trash. The drivers are rude. They may or may not deliver your package on time. When your package is delivered, it may or may not end up on your porch. One time, they dropped a package in my yard beside the driveway. I have called and complained many times. I asked a driver to slow down in my driveway and not to pull in our yard. She goes to leave, spins gravel and speeds down my driveway. I filed a complaint. Just recently, I had a driver speeding up and down my driveway like it's an interstate. It is ridiculous. My driveway is 1/4 mile long. There are pastures on both sides of my driveway and there's no room for 2 vehicles and there are blindspots. I've expressed my concern that if a car is met on my driveway, they will hit head-on because they go entirely too fast. Nothing has been done. If I order through a company and they deliver via FedEx, I no longer order from them. I wish there was an option to choose anyone but FedEx.

Absolute worst customer service experience ever. I paid for this delivery that was supposed to arrive 8 days prior. I confirmed the address multiple times over the past week, and only AFTER the driver had made 3 attempts (and the package was going to be returned to sender) did the local station provide the clarification that it was the fact that my name wasn't listed on the apartment building that the driver refused to leave the package. 1) that is a ridiculous company policy. Guests visit ALL over the place and are not going to be listed on the lease or on the address. 2) I am not going to do their job for them and go to the station to pick up the package. Visiting from out of town I don't have a car, but that's besides the point. 3) I left instructions for the package to be left in the foyer, no key or special access required, and that the package was fine to be left in 'unsecured' space.
4) That should have released any responsibility for the driver from whatever exaggerated concerns s/he had regarding my package, which didn't require signature. However, if there WERE still a concern I requested that the driver just ring the bell or call me when they arrived and I'd happily come down to take physical possession of the package. The driver did not/not do so. Instead the driver ignored my delivery instructions and placed my package in the locked package room. What's the point of leaving instructions if they won't be followed? 5) I am offended that 'for security purposes' they requested the name of the family member that I'm visiting in the building. None of this ever gets raised for deliveries to houses - huge double standard. Utterly ridiculous. I literally hours on the phone since Tues last week to resolve this mess. Worst. Experience. EVER.

On top of that they are extremely inefficient, I had a package coming to me in PA and on Saturday it was in Ohio, then they decide to send it to Nashville, what??? They're just going to send it back to Ohio again on its way to PA. Could they be any stupider? They really need to go bankrupt and save everyone the agony of having to use their services.

Don't expect your delivery to get to you on time because they claim you have an authorization to change your delivery date and in fact you didn't. Very unreliable and unprofessional. This isn't the only time this has happened either.

After not receiving my package on the scheduled delivery date, I waited an additional 3 days with no updates on where my package was & then just decided to go to the store myself and replace the item. Later that day, the package showed up. At that point, I refused the delivery and signed for the driver to return it to the sender stating that I had gone to the store myself and replaced the item with something else. Lo and behold, the next day they sent the package right back to me. This time I took it into a FedEx location and personally handed it to an employee to send back to the shipper. 2 and 1/2 weeks later, my package still has not been returned to the shipper. No updates have been provided by FedEx other than the package is still sitting at the same location in St. Louis 2 and 1/2 weeks later.
I’ve gotten nothing but the runaround from FedEx, and when I called to file a complaint, I was told by the representative (who I could hardly understand) that I could not file a complaint and would have to go through the shipper in order to do that. I feel like I have gotten nothing but excuses from FedEx about where my package is and why it hasn’t been returned after 2 1/2 weeks. Fed Ex had good service years ago, but their service has really gone downhill over the last several years. I would not recommend anyone to use Fed Ex.

Absolutely the worst service ever. I specifically gave them my hours of operation 6:30 AM till 12 noon and we would be open from three till eight in the afternoon. Nobody would be at the office between noon and three. They came by at 12:40 and apparently made an attempt even though they did not leave a paper notice!. I called to set up an appointment for the next day and again we told them we would only be here 630 till noon. No delivery again! How do these people even stay in business?!
