I just needed one payment for all 15 credit cards I had, I was behind on the payments and I couldn't keep up on them so I'd reached out and Cambridge was able to lower the interest rates. Our credit was locked up for quite a while but we were able to do it. To be able to pay off the large amount of debt that I owed, and lowering the interest rate were just a plus.

I signed up with Cambridge Credit Counseling for my daughter to get her bill down. I was very hesitant then but they talked me into doing it, explaining everything. Their team members were all very helpful. There's a way to get rid of the bill, and somebody's out there to help. Working with Cambridge helped my daughter immensely and she got rid of the bill. It was a good experience.

My wife and I both retired and had income. But when she passed away, my income took a hit of about 45% and unfortunately, I still had bills. I had two options. One was to declare bankruptcy which I wasn't too excited about doing and the other was to seek out credit counseling and I decided to go with that. I did a comparison of the various credit counseling services and read reviews from some of the customers of each of the services and Cambridge was the best choice.

I got a little too overboard and wanted to get out of debt. I connected with Cambridge and it was wonderful. I gained a lot of things since I started working with them. They helped me out and they're good people to deal with. I needed to tell somebody from Cambridge though that I had paid through the store 'cause I had the money right then but they had drafted $94 out of my account. They wrote to tell me that they owed me some money and they're going to send it to me but I haven't received it yet.

And they were paid promptly because they did an automatic debit out of my checking account. So, everything went well and I was pleased with it.

When I found the phone number, it directed me to Cambridge. The lady who I worked with during the initial setup was really helpful. Then I get an e-mail every month regarding what I paid. It was good to get the e-mails to make sure that I will pay for the credit cards. Cambridge is a good company. I have no complaints.

I’m paying service fee but that’s fine because I’ve saved a lot because of them. Everyone's helpful and knowledgeable. They explained everything to me like when one credit card is paid off, the amount that should be charged there was transferred to another account. The only drawback is that it was not explained to me that if I put my card in Cambridge, then it’s cancelled. So when I applied for Macy's, I was not approved because it was included in Cambridge. I should not have included my Macy's card. I always use it and just had a little balance from it.

We've finished a four-year deal with Cambridge. When we first started, we talked to somebody and gave our information and everything that was going on, and they helped us through the process. It went very smoothly. We’re not completely out of debt but much more so than what we were. They got my bills under control and they handled all the stores that I had credit with. I pay them a certain amount, and they pay them off. It was really good. They were able to lower my interest rate and I got my congratulatory letter stating that I had satisfied all of my accounts. I was really relieved. Every time I call their team, they have the information for me and they solved my problems. They helped me out in no time. I just felt really comfortable with them. Cambridge Credit helped me out a lot. It was my first time, and it actually worked out well for me. I was able to pay off the credit card in full, which is what we want to be doing with credits. I couldn't make multiple payments on major fees from other credit cards, and cutting down that one payment was what worked for me. It was little steps I made that took little chunks and eventually paid off. The finance charges were huge, but they cut it down from 90% to 7% on one card, then another one from 23% down to 4%. I really appreciated everything they did for me. I'd recommend Cambridge Credit to anybody.

I've been with Cambridge Credit for a couple of years. When I got real sick, they helped me out. They kept me updated on everything and did a real good job. I'm straight and back out now and everything. I paid off what I owed, and it was a very good experience.

Cambridge Credit was very slow to respond once I started the program. They got my money every month, but there were no regular check-ins. When they explained the program to me initially, they said that they would have someone checking in on me, and re-evaluate my budget at any point they want to. They promised a lot of things initially, but didn't happen. Granted, I did finish the program and paid off the old debt, but I feel like there wasn't much interaction. I was essentially paying them just to make the payment, but there was no added value there. In hindsight, I probably could have arranged those similar payments on my own with the company. So in addition to not really understanding what the scope of the program was and also not seeing the added value for what I was paying monthly, I feel it probably wouldn't be something that I would ever invest in again.

I was in a pretty deep hole. I had a number of institutions I was behind on and I was in that unfortunate position I made. Cambridge Credit is an excellent company and an excellent choice that I made.

The service is simple to use, and it was quick and easy to get the service started. We made the call and set up the account with the credit cards that we wanted to get out of debt. Their team told us how much the monthly payment would be. So, we put how much credit we could put on the credit card determining how much we could pay them a month. We kept one credit card out of there because we couldn't afford the monthly payment. And then, every month, we would get an email stating the status. We would still get credit card statements from the company, so we could see if improvements were really happening. I also called twice throughout to see what our balance was and they told us. I recommend people that I know who are having issues. I told them to go to Cambridge since they’re the best. There is a lady I know who started working with them, too.

Cambridge Credit Counseling saved me. My bank wouldn't lower their interest rates on me. My payments got too high because I owed almost $10,000 and I couldn't keep up on them. When I got a letter from Cambridge asking me if I want to get rid of my credit cards debt, I called to see what they were about and they told me what they are. They asked me if I needed help and I told them to give me a day to think about it because I was in debt pretty bad. I then decided I'm gonna do it and they got all paperwork done.

Despite that, I would still recommend them to a friend.

Then they would call or charge fees... It was not because I wasn't paying them. So, I entered the program and it took care of that need for me. I didn't have any real contact with Cambridge other than setting up the program and getting the information that they would send me in the mail. I set the payment on the bank draft system, so my payments were never missed. They also sent me a lot of good information about finances and planning which I found to be a good resource. I thought it was a one-time fee. Other than that, we're happy with them. They helped us get out of our debt quicker.

The Cambridge reps were very knowledgeable. When I talked to Tim, he told me at that point I was up to my eyeballs in debt. They could help me fix that, get me out of it and make the payments easier. He told me to take a chance. I did and I listened to him. Anytime I had a question and called, they were able to help. They were wonderful. They also had little educational things on the internet that I was able to look at. I have completed my payments and I ended up getting little refund checks that were a few dollars' worth. I'm doing good and I'm able to keep to a budget. Now I can put that monthly payment aside for something else. They were very helpful and I have recommended Cambridge to people I know who are struggling.

My ex-brother-in-law told me about his experience with Cambridge and I also wanted to get my debt paid off quicker and in a more organized way. Though they didn't lower any interest rates, they put me on a schedule where I paid off my highest ones first. And then as soon as those were paid off, I had the same payment every month for my other ones. When I asked for the balances two times in a row, they gave me the wrong balance. So, when I did subsequent budgeting or doing the final payoff, they had neglected to add in something. So I called up Cambridge and they told me what they would do and how much it would cost me. I said that it would work and they got started and I stayed with them till the end. They congratulated me, asked me if I had any more debts, and to go back to them or if I knew anybody to put onto them. They were very friendly with me and I never had a problem. With Cambridge, most of my debts have really gone down. I have a few more but I can handle them on my own now. I have big fees in a few stores. Cambridge sent me literature showing me how to budget up. It's more than 10 years that I had been dealing with them. It was an excellent experience.

Cambridge Credit Counseling is wonderful. They helped me get my debts paid off. A friend of mine who had used them suggested them to me and told me to call and see if they would be able to help me. I was hoping that I can consolidate all my debt into one payment so I could pay off faster but then they informed me that they can only do certain places. I only did what they allowed me to at the time, but they were able to lower my interest rates in the places that they were able to deal with. Their team was good, and they didn't harass or bug me. I had a really easy transaction with them. They set up my account and asked some information, I gave it to them and we went from there. They got me on the right track again. And so I’ve passed their information to other people as well. They also offered their support if I needed them in the future.

They showed me the program and it sounded great, so I went for it. They did a great job lowering interest rates considerably. Some of them were around 18 to 24% back then, which was outrageous. My brother told me what good they've done for him so we contacted them. We already went to another place before Cambridge, but the interest of our Bank of America card was so high, we could not get it paid off. I had some really helpful conversations with Cambridge right from the beginning. Though I haven’t taken advantage of any seminars, it's always nice to have more options. I would recommend them to my friends or whoever needs them.

Cambridge Credit had better customer service than other institutions. In the beginning, there was that whole process where they made sure that I had everything in order and told me what to expect. And then, every month, I would get a statement, which is great. They would call every quarter of the year just to check up to see if I had any questions about what’s going on in my account. It’s an eye-opening as far as a better way to manage my money. I got really overwhelmed and luckily this program was there for us. Now that we’re finally over this huge hurdles in our lives, it’s really a huge relief for us. And we’re looking forward to our future now, saving for our house and getting on with our lives. We don’t have this financial burden on us anymore.

Back then, I didn't know then that there were other companies that could help me so I went with Cambridge. They were very good the first time so I decided to go back a second time. However, we had a little problem at the end. One place didn’t get their check and they kept calling me when I’ve had the final payoff and Cambridge took care of it. They issued a new one after the next month and it got delivered. There was a little bit of dialogue there but it was just letting me know that they knew there was a problem and were checking it. They were very good to me. Working with them has given me peace of mind and to finally get stuff out of the way.

Our experience with Cambridge has been very good. I had asked help from the bank that I had at that time but it was turned down, and Cambridge was a better way to go. I know what to do financially now after working with them. To anyone wanting to consolidate their debt, I’d recommend Cambridge because they do a good job.

To get us out of credit card debt and other debts, we went with Cambridge Credit Counseling and they were able to lower the interest rates. We completed the program and got a certificate saying we did. Working with them has helped us get back on track on some things. However, the last few times we tried to call and ask them certain questions, we could never get through to anybody or they wouldn't email us back when we emailed them either. But other than that, the experience we had with Cambridge was good.

The initial setup at Cambridge was easy and painless. Their program finished two months ago and since then, I've had better budgeting, not overspending and now we have savings accounts started for the kids.

Cambridge was able to lower my interest rate. The rep I dealt with upfront was good. The payments were taken every month and as long as I kept up with it, it took care of itself. It's all paid off. It was very simple and the fees weren't very high.

I had a monumental loan that I needed to pay off with American Express. By not paying on time, the loan increased more and more every time the payment would roll around. It got to the point where it was too high, so I needed somebody else to take care of it for me. Cambridge was very helpful. They taught me a lesson to consume my credit and to not spend more than I can pay for. At the salary I was making at the time, I overwhelmed myself and they kept me in that ballpark. I loved working with Cambridge! I first heard about them through one of those counseling wellness programs that I have through work. I started the program through BNY Mellon when I worked there. Unfortunately, I got laid off after, and I started working with JLL. I was going through financial hardship and wanted help both for my dog and cat. It sounds funny, but it added up along with my moving expenses all at once and I had to use my credit card. Bills got out of hand and I just didn't make enough money. I needed help. I reached out and they helped me a great deal. I had a GAP Visa credit card and it was on 30%. Also, my CareCredit was also really high because that was when I also used it to take care of my dog. I must have saved at least half and got a chance to pay it off early, which was even better to save myself even more interest.
