    TitleMax helps a lot when you need help. I've been to the same TitleMax office before. I did the title loan with them. The lending process was straightforward and easy to understand, and it took 45 minutes at the most. The representative that I worked with was very pleasant and professional, knew what she was doing, and got me in and out of there easily. She was wrapping up with somebody else when I first walked in there. So, that included a little bit of waiting time. I know you can do the process online. I hadn't tried that, but I didn't have any problems with it.

    To start the person in the store was awesome. We got along great for the 6 hours I was sitting across from her. The problem was with the computer and the service tech that couldn't get the system working in three hours on Saturday May 17 2025. Day two was the following Monday May 19th 2025. I returned to finish what had been started the Saturday before. Mind you this wasn't my first loan from you, more like the 5th. So imagine my surprise when I had to go give you more personal information than I should have needed to. The previous loans did not require the paperwork you wanted this time. After 3 more hours waiting on corporate to remove their heads from their rear orifice you only give me $300 when I have gotten $1000+ the times before and never a late payment. It shows you do not value return customers. I will be going to a different place when this gets paid off. It's a sham, the office was so nice to only get shafted by corporate that didn't care or remember it is the interest from loans that their pay comes from.

    My best friend went through TitleMax before, and she was trying to get me not to do it because she ended up getting her car repossessed. But I didn't have that experience. This is my second time going through TitleMax and I know the process. I try not to get to the repossession part. I like the fact that I can renew it if I don't have the full balance during the due date and just pay what I can. The ladies that helped me both times, they were very helpful and nice.     I got a $1,500 loan from TitleMax. I got in a bad spot and needed some money. The process was nice and quick. The lady I spoke with was really cool and I liked her. The process of doing the loan was easy. I just went online and did it. I didn't know I was approved but the lady told me I was approved for so much.

    The only thing is I don't like the payment rate. It's confusing. My first payment is next week. I asked how much I was paying back in total and the lady said it was $1,799. I was told my payment would be 250. If I give $250, only $40 of that is going to the loan. That would take me forever to pay off my loan. That was the only thing that was bad to me. Overall, TitleMax is good and the people there deserve a 5-star rating. But I wouldn't recommend this company to any of my friends.

    I had an easy experience with TitleMax. And I had also used them before. So, I just walked into the location and told them what I wanted, and they helped me out. And it took 30 minutes for them to process my loan. They have a high interest rate, which is ridiculous. And even if you pay it back on time, you still accrue the interest, and it goes up every day. But it’s a good place to go to.

    My mother used to go to TitleMax all the time when I was young. When I went in, it wasn't that long. He already had my information pulled up and everything. It took not even 20 minutes. They got everything for me, so I can't even be complaining about that. I'm saying I was grateful for it. It was perfect. At first, when I went in there, I thought they were gonna try to give me a low number. But they met me in the range that I was already talking about. That's why I recommend a lot of folks to them, ‘cause they'll give you the quote that you're looking for, get it right to you. It went perfectly. I’d give it a 10%.

    I’ve gotten two loans with TitleMax: one was a title loan, and the second was a personal loan. Neither time was difficult. They were friendly, accommodating, and did their best to address my concerns and work with me. Every time, they give you a very personal experience. They have the ability to do loans in person at multiple locations in my city, and the online access makes it easy to make payments. They also have decent hours of operation. They’ve probably been one of the easiest companies I’ve ever dealt with, and their process is quick compared to any in-person type of business.

    The only thing I did not appreciate, and it was a big deal to me, was that years ago, there was an information breach involving my Social Security number. It wasn’t just me—it was a large portion of their customers. They acknowledged it by sending information in the mail. That was a little scary. In the past 15 years, they’ve been the only company to ever send me that type of notification. However, I don’t feel I was given enough information to fully appease my curiosity about it, and it’s something that raises a fiery red flag. But the people and their business were good to me, so I did end up going back to them for assistance. Their customer service is good. They'll reach out to you periodically, send emails, and call you.

    I noticed that the processes for the two loans, title and personal loan, were different. For the title loan, I had to provide my title to them, and they kept it as collateral. For my personal loan, I applied through the online portal, which advertised that you could get approved online quickly, the same day, as long as you had all the documents. It asked for basic information, then asked me to provide my financial documents, like my check stub, statement, or the last one or two checks, plus my ID. However, before the system asked for my financial information, it was asking me to upload my car title, even though I wasn’t doing a title loan. It explained that titles could be uploaded as a backup form of collateral to get approved quicker or for a higher amount. That was confusing because I had no interest in a title loan and only wanted a personal loan.

    The interest on the personal loans is absurd and very high. On a basic payment schedule, the first payment might be 477, and 417 for the next ten payments, which comes out to 2,157 in interest alone if you pay nothing extra.

    I heard about TitleMax online and that they treat people better and with respect. I got a title loan. I went in there, asked for an amount, they looked it up, and their computers crashed. I was there for 2.5 hours. I've been through TitleMax before on another bike that I had, and I got more than what I did on this one. It’s five years newer, and I wasn't really too happy with the amount. I was like, “I'm not gonna leave here now with nothing.”

    They could have given me at least a little more than what they did knowing that I had one a few years ago and payments were paid on time. The only reason the insurance paid it off is because the other bike I had was totaled in a storm, but when I got that one, they gave me $2,500 versus what I got for this. That's messed up and I was disappointed. They only gave me $450 and that was a kick in the throat. I've got a custom-built bike here that is valued at $8,500, and that's what they gave me. I would have said no, and rep was like, “You can go down to so and so,” and I was like, “I've already sat here this long. I'm not going anywhere else.” Their percentage is a little ridiculous.

    I got a call from TitleMax on last Friday the 9th from a last asking me was I still interested in a personal as I couldn't remember that I had requested online but obviously I did so I told her yes I would be still interested and asked her a few questions regarding the requirements, etc. She told me the basic requirements but was rather new and that I'd probably be e better served to come in and speak with Alicia the following day which leads me to my experience I will not soon forget, Alicia called me around midday I believe it was or thereafter and asked if I was still coming by and I said yes and I'm glad she did 'cause it had already slipped my mind with me being busy with my two teenage sons but told her I'd be by around 4 or so as I believe arrived a short time around 4.

    When I got there it was one customer there and Alicia as it seemed she was finalizing everything with that customer and greeted me with a nice smile and being very courteous and polite asking me can I start filling out information while she finished with the other customer, she did an awesome job multi tasking between answering the phones while still keeping her attention on us the customers which I thought was very good customer skills, she shortly after finished with the customer then turned her full attention on helping me and let's just say it was an adventure to say the least with it absolutely NOT being any fault of her own, she assisted me making sure I had input all the information needed and commenced to submit the application the first time only to be told we had to start all over again due to my negligence of putting too many numbers of my driver's license, so submitted again...

    Then once submitted was told we had to resubmit again this due to me not adding the prefix (Jr) to my name so was submitted again only to have more typo errors with my banking information a few types and then had to retake pictures a few times 'cause I didn't take my sunglasses off and lastly when we corrected all of that and all info was correct and picture was good her mouse and or computer hit a glitch which made her unable to hit submit so we had to resubmit one final time and at that time and few times earlier I had said I'd just come back on a different day 'cause it was after closing time and I felt really bad that she was having all this trouble with my process on my behalf but to her credit she remained calm, cool and collected as we both did and even managed to share some laughs and giggles of the matter which made it less frustrating.

    We finally got everything done and I thanked her for her time and patience and for having such a wonderful attitude and displaying exceptional customer relation skills as well as people skills, one of the best I've encountered in my life time and I have encountered quite a few and normally the others would get very frustrated and flustered and it would have shown and I would have absolutely got up and walked out and never come back and most definitely NOT recommend anyone doing business there but because I had such a awesome experience I'm referring everyone I know that works with me out at the plant on if they ever need a loan most definitely call Title Max and if they are lucky enough to encounter Alicia to absolutely do so... and in closing it is my very sincere opinion is that Title Max is very lucky to have such a wonderful, professional and well mannered woman representing their company. 👍🏿💯

And the representative who assisted me was polite and helpful. I just did not understand what I had to pay back. Because the representative was saying that if I came back within a week or so and I paid this, I would have to pay X amount. I got 601. I would have to pay 601 + 150. And I asked her why I would have to pay an extra 150 if I borrowed X amount.

    The staff, employees are awesome. But the application needs to be fixed. At the very beginning, the application asks how much are you needing for the loan, then the next question is, if you were to sell the vehicle, how much would you sell it for? Ok no problem. You spend about 30 mins filling out the application and then it's submitted. After waiting for a decision it comes back stating that you have been pre approved for $$$. Now the amount I had put in the very beginning is nowhere near what I was approved for. So I asked why was it only approved for that amount and I was informed that the application will only approve up to the max amount. They need to change the application to save time. When it asks how much you are needing, and you put in the amount, it should say that the max amount is $$$, would you like to continue? That way you can decide from the beginning if you want to continue instead of spending time to complete the process only to find out the max is not what I needed.

    Both old ** women at the locations we're rude absolutely unprofessional and don't want to help you get a loan all they want to do is automatically tell you no, and hassle you, don't greet you totally unprofessional they've been working there too long and they both need to be gone, I've had multiple loans with this company and they've all been paid back but for some reason they automatically just want to tell you, "No we can't do nothing for you" while being rude about it and unprofessional.

    I hope that everybody doesn't have the same experience going to TitleMax to try to get a loan instead of trying to work with you they just automatically want to tell you they can't do it for you and sorry then why are they working there if they don't want to help somebody get a loan? I had this loan temporarily out that's going to be paid off today and they're going to tell me it's going to take 6 to 8 weeks for me to get my title back. 6 to 8 weeks is too long to return a title for one week of loan and I don't even know if TitleMax in Reno is being honest with me and now I'm going to contact the DMV to see the matter further whether they're lying to me or not because I don't trust them I have to wait 2 months to get my title back or is TitleMax from Reno lying to me? This will be the last loan I ever do probably with this company and I'm definitely not going to deal with both of those Hispanic old women that work there. I'll find a better company to loan from.
