Title Loan I would say it's a great loan option and the monthly installment payments is reasonable and you definitely want to pay the loan back if you want to continue to keep your car. 🚗 Great deal. I tried going on online to apply for a loan but it wasn't very successful but I want to encourage you all if you're in need for a loan try Title Max.

Your website is not functioning- There is no button to pay. I have requested that the branch process my payment and they have not. I also do not get a response from them. I'm submitting a complaint to the BBB and the Attorney General's Office. Additionally, I will see compensation and removal of the excessive interest since I have repeatedly tried to have payment processed. I recommend that you forward to your legal team.

I went with TitleMax for my lending needs as I work right next to one of their locations, where I handle my banking. This proximity made it convenient for me to go through their processes. This time, it took about an hour to complete the application, which I found to be a quick process. The rep was extremely helpful, making the experience even smoother.
In comparison to my previous experience, which was time-consuming and stressful, this recent interaction was significantly better. Last time, I had to keep returning, and the ordeal lasted around three to four hours. But this time, everything proceeded without any hiccups.

Being a customer of Titlemax, I'm aware of the business nature where if your car is valued at, say, $20,000, they might only lend about $1,500 or $2,000 instead of the maximum you might hope for, like $6,500. This approach makes sense for them as a business to mitigate risks. However, the downside is that if you miss a payment, the repercussions can be quite swift, which sometimes feels quite unforgiving. I wish they could offer terms that allow for more flexibility, giving customers a closer-to-equal value with more manageable terms.
The lending process at TitleMax itself is fairly swift and efficient. However, the concern lies with the amount one ends up receiving versus the actual potential return on collateral; it hardly seems favorable. The cost of borrowing was somewhat high, as my loan amount was $1,500, and the interest significantly inflated my payments.

The application process is straightforward, but there is a significant downside: the payments go primarily towards the interest rather than the principal, which makes it feel like a rip-off. If you're in dire need of money, there's not much you can do about this structure.
Nevertheless, my experience with TitleMax has been positive overall. Stacey, the representative I usually interact with, is highly professional and goes above and beyond to assist. Her service strengthens my favorable opinion of the company.
While I generally have a positive experience with them, the issue with the interest and minimal principal reduction is my main concern. I was in a financial bind after my divorce and with my poor credit, traditional lenders weren't really an option for me. So, I tried TitleMax and initially, they presented the lending process as straightforward. However, the reality turned out much more complicated than I expected and communication with the representative was minimal, which left much to be desired. The entire lending process from application to approval was relatively quick, about ten minutes, but the aftercare was lackluster. When I took out a loan of around $800 a few months earlier, I was misled about payment flexibility. Despite making a $300 payment from a side job, I discovered it wasn't fully applied to my principal balance due to a policy allowing only one payment per month.
When I called, their rep stayed on the phone with me three minutes then she blew me off. She acted like it wasn't nothing and it was horrible. In the end, TitleMax provided the funds I needed which was crucial to me as a single parent to a disabled adult son. However, the overall service spiraled into a bad situation, with ongoing monthly payments of $369 barely touching my principal debt.

Your store manager is very rude and threatened me 2 times then said she would call the police on me. Your whole place is a scam and I will make sure I tell it from the roof tops after how I was treated after I didn’t want your loan with 226% interest on it. That you would not tell me after I kept asking you over and over and after you put the money in my account without my knowledge of the rate yet. Very sly and unhonest then lie that you can’t give me your district supervisor number. It seems like you two lie a lot to swindle people out of their money. I don’t need service like you ever.

The people at the East Ridge location in Chattanooga did a great job explain the pros and cons of getting the loan and I was able to comfortably make my decision. However, while trying to make a profile via QR code it did give me a little trouble. Even still it was good customer service

I went to the Oakridge office to pawn My Blazer title to pay some bills. I got there approximately two hours before they closed. There was only one employee working but no one else was there at the time I arrived. She was one of the worst people that I have ever met in my life. I'm 47years old and I have dealt with a lot of people over the years. She was having some personal issues and took it out on me and the Lady that came in after I did. I mean I understand it was a bad Day for her. And truthfully she made My Day worse. She yelled at the Lady behind me because she was going to have to stay later after closing to finish up the loans.
Truthfully if you do not like your Job then please by all means find a Job you like instead of being ugly to customers. Titlemax needs to find people who aren't so rude as Ms. **. I had the worst experience I have ever had on Saturday July 19th. She doesn't need to work in or with the public with her rude and uncalled for behavior. My car was reloaded this morning on July 23, 2025. I’ve been calling all day long to find out where my car is and they mean nothing on where it’s at. All my personal things are in the car and I need my personal things but they will not tell me where it’s at and how I can get my personal stuff. TitleMax is a scam and fraud. Would love to sue them. I’ve never gotten a loan from this company. They need to get this straightened out and give me my car back undamaged and all my personal property back.

If you are desperate and have no other way then used Titlemax. Their payment portal never works so one is inconvenienced to have to go to their store and make a payment. This is a predatory loan company only legal in a few states. Yes they will loan money on your title but it is expensive and making payments is inconvenient because the portal never seems to work.

TitleMax was professional. They greeted me and accurate. I got the change I was trying to get. They were so helpful. They opened the door for me, they provided drinks to me and everything. The building was clean. The only thing that was time consuming, the printer wasn't working. They to go to two terminals to try to get me a check. I left to grab my debit card from the house because they couldn't get any help from help desk.

Hello and good evening, I took out a title loan the other day, and my first thought when I saw the offer was that it was a little low; but God worked it out. I was a little upset when all I could borrow was $250 for the sake of my car being on the line, but maybe it was best that way. When I arrived into the office, I had my service dog with me. The general manager walked out and told me I was not allowed to have her in the office. I advised her that it was a service dog, and she said because the dog did not have a vest on She was not allowed in the store. I advised her of the ADA laws and that she was not required to wear a vest, even though she did have a leash wrap that stated service dog. The general manager said that did not matter, and she was not allowed in the store and I would need to leave. I asked her to look up the law because she was incorrect. She went into the back and several moments later she did call the agent that was in the front office and let her know that it was OK for me to bring my dog in. I do suggest that you have your agents research ADA laws. Once we got that straight the agent that assisted me was great.

I’m writing this to warn others and to hold TitleMax accountable for the damage they’ve caused. I live in Wisconsin and had a title loan through TitleMax Appleton. I paid back more than I borrowed, but on June 19, 2025, they illegally repossessed my vehicle for the second time on the same loan — without sending me a Right to Cure notice, which is required under Wisconsin law. I confirmed with state regulators that this is a legal violation.
The first repossession happened in January 2025, without a post repossession notice. After I paid thousands to reinstate the loan, they gave me the car back — but this time, they’ve kept it and won’t tell me where it is. My children’s belongings and my deceased sister’s cremated ashes were in the vehicle. I begged them to let me retrieve those, and they refused, giving me access to ONLY my personal belongings.
When I tried to deliver legal documents in person to their store, the employee stated they would “shred them.” Corporate customer service refused to help and would only speak by phone, not in writing. I have filed complaints with:• The Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions (WDFI)
• The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB)
• The Attorney General
• The Federal Trade Commission (FTC)
I have also filed a lawsuit in Outagamie County Small Claims Court, and I’m fully prepared to escalate this to civil court. TitleMax gave me a ridiculous “offer” demanding I pay them — after all the money I already gave and after illegally seizing my vehicle. I’ve left public reviews on Google and Yelp. Their only response was a canned “please call us” message — no real accountability, no compassion, no written resolution. TitleMax has caused emotional trauma, financial stress, and hardship for my children, all while violating my legal rights. This company should not be allowed to operate like this.

I went into the League City office of TitleMax on Main Street to apply for a title loan on my 22-year-old van. Cindy **, who was running the office by herself, juggled the three or four people who came in while I was applying with ease and efficiency. I came in with my driver's license and van title, and she walked me through the process, quickly, clearly explaining how much the loan would cost me in fees and interest. Within 30 minutes of completing the application, my loan funds were directly deposited into my checking account.
The whole process was stress-free and took less than an hour. Yes, it was an expensive loan, but I expected that. She was very upfront about the fees and interest, and made sure I understood what I was signing. The loan was about a third of what I had hoped for, but apparently, the company will lend you up to a percentage of your vehicle's value, not the entire value. If you take the time to review the fees and interest, understand what you are agreeing to, and ensure you can afford to repay it, getting a loan is a straightforward and hassle-free process. Cindy is very efficient and good at her job.

If you are in a position where you have to use a service like TitleMax, they would be the first place to go. I used them and customer service was first class. They were very professional and fast. I brought everything with me that I needed. They went outside and took pictures of the car. I was there a total of 15 minutes from start to finish. My fiance went through TitleMax to get a car title loan. The lending process was phenomenal. The lady we talked to when we came in was super funny and awesome. I give her a 5-star review, 100%. The process was quick. When I went in, I had all the stuff I needed. We sat down, got everything done, and we were right back out the door. It took longer to take the pictures of the truck than it did. TitleMax helped us get the little pinch that we were in. They got us through it, and we were right back to rocking and rolling with the business after that.

This is the second time I've used TitleMax. The lending process depends on how much your vehicle is worth. And then they make an offer and ask you how much you need. And then they’ll see if they can make you an offer. The process took about an hour.
Their customer service was nice. They're really nice and helpful. I'd recommend them.
I guess I go by credit score. So, for me, being an elder, I think the interest is kind of high, but I don't have any alternatives.

Interest rates are not that high at TitleMax, for the fact that they offer a line of credit along with financial loans. I needed a quick loan. And I didn't wanna go to an auto title loan or pay check cashing, the pay bi-weekly thing.
The process was simple. I had all my information. I went online and searched to see what I needed before I came in. So, it was pretty easy. And their customer service is immaculate for the location. And the representative that they have for the last two years has been amazing.

I was just trying to get some cash to pay some bills, so I went to TitleMax. I did an application, and the representative called. She was real quick and explained everything. The process went well. Everything went fine.
I’ve downloaded their app, and it’s set up. I’ve been trying to make the payment online, but it just won’t take the payment. But I’m a supervisor and my work schedule is so completely that I couldn’t get out there. Now I’m gonna have to go to the store, which kind of takes out of my time.

This place is horrible. The staff lie. I told them I was coming back the next day to pay them back and get my title. They said ok. When I went back the next day they said I had to wait. that they sent my title. to get the lien on it. Then said it may take 2-3 weeks till they come back but I can come pay anyways and wait on them to come back.

Fortunately, I have not needed to seek a loan in over 40 years. Nervous... I drove up, got out, walked in... A friendly atmosphere. Of course, I came with necessary info so discussion, objectives, finance plan and application went smooth and fast (20 minutes for all). I would recommend. I did notice reading reviews, most complaints came from folks who, unfortunately, seem to be continuing to experience financial hardship and are unable to meet their obligation... Sad. If you need some dollar help --- TitleMax seems a worthwhile alternative!!!

The loan place issued me a check, has possession of my title.. Went to cash and bank won't do it because it's for deposit only (but they stamped it). Now nobody will cash it. TitleMax says there's nothing they can do, can't issue another check (until it clears in the bank's system, bank says there's nothing to clear it wasn't cashed) or give me my title back. This is considered fraud in South Carolina and we have filed a police report.

It was pretty simple getting a title loan from TitleMax. I like their policy. It was pretty easy uploading documents online. The manager was really helpful and informative, told us what we needed to do, and made it happen. It took about 30 minutes. I was doing some online research and that’s how I learned about TitleMax. It was a great experience, and I would recommend them to anyone. They really helped me catch up on some bills that I needed to take care of.
The process went real quick, and Amber, the one that did everything, was just real nice. She did a great job walking us through everything and even took her time to show us how to get on the computer. It took like 15 minutes or so to take the pictures. Once I got the car at the location, we looked at everything and made sure everything was good. There wasn’t a lot of paperwork. I’ve used them several times, and there have been times I’ve been upset with them. But the manager at the location I go to is awesome, and he’s always worked with me. If I’ve been late, I had to pay more interest, but he’s worked with me so I wouldn’t lose the car.
Recently, though, that wasn’t him. I lost my job and didn’t have the funds. Somehow my loan got shifted to the corporate office. They started calling me to set up a new payment arrangement. I thought that was odd.
Everything worked out in the end, but my car did get picked up. My due date was the 23rd, but their system showed the 21st. Even though I was told it was the 23rd, because I didn’t pay on the 21st, they picked up the car on the 24th. They were closed on the 23rd, so I had to deal with going to get the car back, which was inconvenient.
I had a hard time reaching the corporate office. I’ve been on hold for a long time, the person answering didn’t seem to know what they were doing, and I’ve been hung up on before. There seems to be a lot of turnover.
In the end, I paid the total amount needed and was able to get the car and the title back within a few days.
All in all, I had a good experience with TitleMax. They’ve worked with me and brought the interest down. It’s the convenience of being able to get help when you can’t get it from a bank, and to me, that’s a positive thing.

I was in need of some extra money for rent. I lived near the TitleMax location and had passed by it, so I googled it, and then I was able to do everything online. I work during the day and get off pretty late, and most places don’t allow that option to do it online. I just took pictures of the vehicle and uploaded them. I did have to go in to show them the title, and then they deposited the funds to my account. The person that helped me made it easy, fast and was very friendly. I would recommend them going into that location just 'cause I got to know the lady that was there.

I drove by TitleMax and didn’t really look at any other options. I went in there to get a title loan, but I think they ended up doing the pawn thing. I needed money and they gave it to me. I actually received my funds in my bank account immediately.
The whole process probably took 45 minutes. It was my first time doing it, and I pretty much did the whole thing by myself on my phone, so I didn't really have much to do with the representative. They just required my title and my ID.

I've dealt with TitleMax a couple of times before. And the first couple times, I had pretty good experience. And this last time wasn't a bad experience. I was a little bit disappointed. After being a reliable customer for the time period that I had and the amount of money I spent, I was denied what I really needed at the time. But other than that, that was the worst experience of all, getting pennies for something that I had previously gotten a larger amount for.
The first time I got a loan through TitleMax, it was somewhere close to 2,000. And I paid my payments for a long time and then I paid it off. They contacted me back. I went back and got another initial amount of money. And I ended up paying almost $10,000 for the vehicle back, which is fine. That was my decision. And I made it. And I bought the vehicle back.
Then I went back to get a loan on the same vehicle. And they told me that they could give me $1,700. I was disappointed. I spent so much money on the thing. The ending payoff after I had been paying $300 and $400 payments a month for five, six, seven months, I still turned around and gave them $4,000.
They told me that that's all the bank would give me. And I only had one issue during the process where I had to redo the contract. We had a disagreement. When I read up to get more money there, the deal was that they’d send me a text telling me how much money I would get. Once I did it online, they deducted something out of it. So, the money that was supposed to have been added to the contract was not correct. It was like $300 less than what I was originally told I could get by adding it to the payment.
They just told me that there was some kind of fee. It’s like any other company. I think they sent me a text saying I was supposed to get around $800. And then once I agreed to it, it actually was only around $500. The payment went up a little bit more. And then income tax time was coming around. I asked how much I owed to get it over with, and they said around $4,000 so I did it.
I really was not planning on going back and dealing with TitleMax. But I did because I'm in a bind. And I don't have the credit or anything to go and get a loan from a bank. That was my only option. My first payment will be coming up in a couple weeks for around $300 a month.
There were a couple of different people that I've dealt with there. I always have a really good experience with the Jamaican lady. There's a younger white guy. And it's not a bad experience. He sent me a thing in the mail saying that I can go there and get a $3000 loan. I didn't need it at the time. A couple of months went by and I needed it. When I went there they said I was only approved $1700 by the bank.
It’s nothing different about the truck that I didn't get more money for before, which is what I didn't understand. Maybe the mileage, but the mileage didn’t go that far. And I literally just paid it off in March and I drove it from Canon to Hart, went to work and back. Maybe there were a few thousand miles added.
People at the store are really nice people. The bank would be the biggest issue. You would think with a payment record and the amount of money you spend, the banks would see you have spent about $10,000 on a vehicle that they value at $2,500. On the Kelly Blue Book my vehicle is worth $4,000.
I asked for $3,000 the very first time I went and I didn’t get that but I got enough to handle a few things I needed. But as time went on, I was not getting anything near what it's worth. I don't get enough information. I don't know if it was a different bank I dealt with or if it was the same. Because different people look at things differently. If there's a standard, then I don't see how the standard changed in that short time. There were not that many more miles on it.
Be careful. You don't wanna get yourself in a position that you can't get out of. My recommendation is when you go up to TitleMax, make sure you're getting at least half of what that vehicle's worth when you're asking for money.

I’ve known about TitleMax for a long time, mostly because their name is so well known. I actually started getting loans with them about seven or eight years ago when I was going through a divorce. As a single mom of five, I needed some extra help to cover bills.
I am actually a business owner. It helped me in that aspect of getting my business and getting things taken care of as a single mom. I've been using your service ever since. I usually use the actual title loan because I like to pay it off within 45 days.
The application process was easy, especially now that you guys have the app. I was able to do my latest loan on the app. So, I took pictures of my car at home. And then they gave me the pre-approval and then went into the office. I was probably there for about 25 minutes, if that, and then everything was done.
All of my experiences have been great except one last year. I went to a different office that was closer to my workplace, and it was a horrible experience. They were very rude like, “Well, we’re just gonna brush off your concerns.” But every other office that I've visited has been great.
Titlemax has been great because it’s there as extra money when I really need it. Last year, my son had to have eye surgery that cost $6,000, and TitleMax approved me for $7,000. That was a lifesaver at the time. I was able to pay it back within 45 days, so it really helped when we needed it most.

I was treated very well when I went into the office in Brownwood Tx. Everything was explained completely. She was very helpful. She also explained that I could come back at anytime and extend my loan. She went over all of the options available to me. I had a great experience with my visit.

I got a title loan on February 18th this year. I paid it off exactly a month later. It is now June 11th and my title is not in my possession. I called and was told by Tatiana that a worker quit and she can't go to the DMV to check on my title. This was weeks ago. I spoke to another worker there named Andrea and was told that she hasn't been to the DMV and that the DMV is busy? How would anyone know this if they haven't been? I was told I'd get a call from Tatiana and that I was a "priority". Another week has gone by and no call at all. Andrea called me back after about another week and said something like "sir I know it's been months and you still don't have your title but would you like to start another loan with us?" I find this to be very unprofessional. Y'all have made the money off of me that y'all should have and I've been a patient customer. I would like what is mine.

Very polite and patient. The person that helped me was very nice and explained the loan process. The two that were working had teamwork and were very helpful. It was amazing that the loan was deposited right after the loan process. I was scared from the start, the employee that help me made me feel very comfortable from the start. My experience was quick and courteous. Your location was close to home in this town living in poverty. I will recommend to others your services when they need their electric bill paid to avoid disconnection of their electric or other utilities. Across the street was a Vietnam Veteran Selling pecans and watermelons of which of which we proudly supported.

The lady that was working the day I came in was so sweet. She was funny and very knowledgeable. She took the time to explain and make sure that I understood everything. Even though it was 29 minutes to close she was respectful and kind as if I was the first person.

Our funds were available immediately and were put directly onto our debit card. We still have the option to take more out if needed. They even stayed past closing time to help us. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is in dire straits. The application process was simple and didn't take long at all.

He understood I had a loan in the past that I paid off right away and that way my goal again so he kept the process geared towards that, picked up where I left off online and quickened the process. My experience was positive except with the option of the payment amount. There was only one amount given to you that you could pay. And only one set of months that you could pay. You should have more of a selection to help the customer with repaying their loan and not making it a hardship for your customers. Other than that the experience was very good.

** was awesome. There were issues and she fixed them while still doing what was expected of her. It took a bit longer than anticipated but the experience was overall pleasant. If I need for any reason to redo this type of thing I will come back to the 35th Ave and Glendale location. I thought the location on 43rd Ave and Olive was good but this location on 35th was much better.
