I did the application online before I got to TitleMax so all the work was done. I probably was in and out within 30 minutes. I sent a lot of pictures online the day before I got there and the rep went outside and confirmed that everything was what it was. It didn't take long. It was the front, rear, side, both sides, driver, passenger side and interior pictures and the rep took the pictures of the steering wheel and dashboard. I got a habit of paying cash for my cars. So any time I get into a tight spot and I need something on an emergency status, TitleMax is my go-to.

It's the second time I’ve used TitleMax but the other time was almost 5 years ago. And the same gentleman at that location is the same guy who I used the first time. He's very respectful and you can tell he listens. So the level of comfort was there. It was the first thing that popped into my mind when I had an AC unit go out. The rep went a little over and beyond as far as information was concerned. We thought we could get a better quote and he reached back out to his supervisor and was able to get a little bit more. He didn't necessarily have to do that. So that was a good incentive for the most part. He was professional and informative. He knew a lot of things he was talking about and made me understand it a lot better.

Everything was great. I called up Jennifer at the Conroe location, went in, and brought everything she asked me to. She explained everything inside and out, and it was super. She told me how to do everything, when to do it, and what I could expect. She said, "If you have any questions, call me." She was great. She knew I didn't wanna do the loan. However, she said, "Think about it. If you wanna do it, let's do it. If not, let's keep us on the list." She was certainly helpful, but it turned out I had to do it and I had no other way out. Come to find out I paid off nine bills with this one loan. I have a bigger loan, but I paid off all my credit cards. I was happy.

The rate and terms suck every time it's a loan, but TitleMax is different and I haven't had any problems with them yet. I had taken one prior title loan years ago, and how this is different from that is the app works great. It tells me how much I have and how much I need. If I need to borrow more money, it's there, how to get it, and what my rate is to refinance. It keeps my payout at what they told me my payout would be. Most people don't have time to come in, and the app is a huge game changer in the loan division.

One of my friends at work ran into some stress and he went TitleMax and they helped him. Everything worked out. I could use a couple of extra dollars on some things around my house so I did TitleMax too. The application process was cool. It wasn't long and tedious. The only thing was they were short-handed at the time I did the loan and it was very crowded. If you're walking in, there are only two chicks in there. The two ladies there got into work getting us out of there. I was there for about two hours. I understood and saw what was going on. Those ladies were really humping to get everybody straight, but it was just a lot of people, and it was only two people there. I went and got myself a hamburger. I was already in the process but the ladies were processing so much. I came back and 15 mins later, I was out of there.

They took pictures of my car and wrote down information as well as the miles. I showed my Social Security card and my bank card. Everything I asked customer service was answered. She also showed me how to get on my app because I'm not really technically inclined. With regard to the app, I needed to know to keep being reminded when I have to bring that money in. I didn't have any no paperwork as everything was on the app. That was cool and it was perfect for me. It was simple and it was all about the business. It was a done deal. They put the money in my bank account. That was around 10 minutes. TitleMax came through when I needed them. It was a winner for me. Go check them out.

I had a name change in between the process of me purchasing my vehicle and the time that I put in the loan. I needed ID, the bank account that the money was gonna be sent into, and the title of the car. But on top of that, I also had to bring my divorce decree to show that my name was changed. Both of the reps that I dealt with were great. The first one started the process but unfortunately, it was time for her to clock out. But I understand because I’m a parent too, and she had to get her kid from after care and it was starting to run late. Because of the divorce decree and the name change, the process took a little bit longer than it normally does. So I was absolutely fine with her passing me over to the second young lady that helped me. But they were both very nice, respectful, and knowledgeable. They did what they needed to do to help me secure the loan.

When I was sitting down, they were telling me all the options that I had and how much I was able to get. They gave me tips to be able to use this loan to better my credit. At first, I was just gonna take a very minimum $700 out but ended up doing the full amount because as long as I make that monthly payment to renew the loan, it was gonna build my credit, based on what they said. So it went from being a very short term to I’m gonna use it as a little bit of a longer term. In the long run, it’s gonna improve my quality of life because of the fact that I’ll have a better credit score. So the loan is gonna help me a lot.

When I first walked in, it was nothing but friendly. The representative at TitleMax, Toni, did a very good job of establishing rapport with me. We talked a little bit and she went over what it was. She was very informative. She told me she was new, so she was gonna go a little slow, which was fine with me. They had told me at the beginning that I might have to download an app to make payments. It got to the end of it and she said, "Let's go ahead and download that app." I told her, "I don't want to do that." The manager came over and said, "No, you have to. You can't walk out of here without downloading the app." It rubbed me the wrong way because I know for a fact that it's not in the contract that I have to. He was flamboyant and liked to say, "My dear, my dear."

He walked off and sat at his desk while Toni was finishing up with me. He told her, "That's fine. If she doesn't want to, then we just can't take her payments over the phone. She's going to have to come in in person." It was retaliatory. I understand the function of that account. It's for me to be able to view my account, make my payments, etc. But all I was going to do was go home and do it because I wanted to read it. I didn't want to do it right there.

While I was going through the paperwork, Toni said, "Don't worry about it. I'm going to print it out at the end." That was fine because I knew what I was agreeing with. She explained it to me very well. I wasn't too worried about the actual fine print because it's all legalities. But in the end, all I got was the finance sheet - the one that says what the loan is, how much the interest is, what the payments are, etc. I didn't get the contract.

When I talked to the district manager, they called me back right away. She was very friendly. She said she understood. She said that the "my dear" part was just his personality and that he's a very good manager. I believed her because he seemed very dedicated but I told her that it was inappropriate because he doesn't know me and there should be a certain level of professionalism.

The rep explained everything pretty well to me. She read over everything on the computer to me and she went over all the forms with me.

The rep was understanding and the communication was proper back and forth. The process for the title loan took about 30 minutes and after it was completed, the funding was deposited to my card in about 10 minutes. TitleMax is a good resource to have. This will pay your bills too so it's okay. It's a good way to manage some of the emergencies that you have. I was able to get financially what I needed from them and it was a good experience.
