And we went from there. TitleMax made it easier for me because with the choice I went through before, they wanted much information and they charged me, as well.

I was searching for car title loans and TitleMax was one of the first things that popped up. They seemed a bit more professional and a legit business over other kinds of pawn places and loan places. I put in my information online, and they called me back, and it was not even five minutes later. And they asked me to come in, and I told them “Yeah”. So, I came in that day, they gave me a specific location of where I could come in at. And I went in there and the rep already had my information, so she pulled it up and she walked me through the application process. And then, she printed out a check for me and told me I could cash it anytime I wanted. I did it because I got laid off and because of the loan, I was able to pay rent, so it made my life a lot better.

I pawned a title and the process was honest and smooth. The rep explained everything to me pretty well. We also had some small talk while she was waiting on papers to come through and we had a good conversation. They weren't busy and I was done in no more than 30 minutes. She printed out a check then I went to a check cashing place to save time and I got it cashed the same day. I already paid $640 and still owe more than what I borrowed! Last month when I went to make a payment my payoff balance was $1,269.90 and going in today my payoff balance went up $100. They told me they're on a "new system" which to me is BS because that is NOT the contract I signed and I have made every payment on time every month! People usually let these things go but I am definitely looking into taking some legal action since I do have a copy of the contract I signed and I never agreed to all these changes that they're making to my account. THIEVES. THIEVES. THIEVES. I'd rather starve than to ever borrow another $1 from them again!

Got a loan, when I redid the loan the loan officer misrepresented the conditions, they changed the conditions! To pay off a $500.00 loan with the evil conditions has cost me thousands! $73.00 a month was all interest. Nothing on the principal! The original loan was not like that, they changed it after I borrowed $200.00 more from them, the agent, I was told was fired that did the transaction, also they were supposed to work with me. Never did! I don't advise anyone to deal with these loan sharks! They are evil!

She told me, “She would not take my monthly payment, but I could pay my total balance Off” all because of the way she said, I talked to her over the phone. Let’s just say after a couple of phone calls later and a awesome District Manager I made my monthly payment. This will definitely be my last time dealing with TITLEMAX. Bring back the old workers please!

I wasn't even a full 2 months past due and they yanked my vehicle. My phone was shut off and I planned on paying it this week once I got my tax returns. Paying it off in full I should say because making payments is stupid and pointless. They didn't call any of my references, didn't mail me any letters, no email, nothing... just showed up 1 day before the 2nd payment would be due leaving a balance of $800 and just yanked my truck. TitleMax seemed like one of the big names. I thought there would be less problems and less things to go through. The process was awesome and a lot easier than I thought it would be. Plus, we were able to get everything right then and not have to wait so the loan helped a lot.

I would like to thank TitleMax in Waco Texas for their outstanding customer service in reference to Sheryl and the other staff not only for them lending me money in my time of need but for their understanding when I wasn't able to pay my loan (which would be my 2nd payment) and yet they still understood that I was not able to pay on the actual due date. They didn't have the computer thing before so we signed all the stuff with hands on every single documents. I didn't get how much I wanted because the State of Virginia's law says one can only borrow so much for starting their vehicles. Not only complying, but TitleMax needs to do away with the online estimator because it ain't even close. I've done it and it said I could get a 1000 to $2000 but got $688 when I went in and I needed way more than $688. That online estimator should be taken away so people don't get their hopes up. It was just a piece on the dashboard, which they thought was a crack. He also said that the bumper was faded out when it wasn't. He just needs to wash it. Other than that, everything was right. However, the car title loan that I got from them wasn’t what I was thinking of. I thought they work by their name, but they didn’t give me the max credit.

TitleMax seemed like it was more commercialized. I've seen others and their buildings look like rundown. I went online and researched and Titlemax seemed more established. I had talked to one of the representatives over the forms. He was expecting me when I walked in and he called me by first name. He went over the process with me then he took pictures of my vehicle and got my keys and all the speedometer readings. He seemed very knowledgeable, running the detail about everything, and went over all the flyers. It was about 30 minutes for everything to be completed. It took a bit to put the money in 'cause I had to go to a bank and the bank near them closed down so I had to go all the way across town. But it was a very good experience with Titlemax. It kept some bill collectors off my back for a while. I would suggest this company to anybody who needed money and had the means to pay it back.

I am absolutely FURIOUS with TitleMax. Whenever I went to get this "loan" from this horrid place I was UNINFORMED that the entire loan had to be paid in 30 days and if not the "minimum payment" that you make when it comes to the due date does not add on to the principal amount of the loan it is just interest. Not only that, that last time I called I spoke with a RUDE lady who refused to give me her name and help me. I asked for a manager or somebody over her, because the lady I spoke to before her LIED to me about being able to make a payment arrangement.

Once I spoke to the lady I asked her how long it was for. She said it depends on how much more you pay over the $600 a month. The $600 was a fee. People loan sharks in New York don't charge this much. I am going to take them down. By the way I found a way to get a loan at a credit union, and have $150 per month, and have about a year left because I paid extra. TitleMax is as crooked as they come and need to be dealt with.

We went the next day and had that repaired and then went back and resubmitted it and I was able to get another $600. The process was extremely painless but their payments are almost unreasonably high. I'm looking at little over $2,000 and the payment on it is $272 a month. More money goes towards the interest and none for the principal. Other than that everything at the branch was fantastic.

But when I got to their office, the loan I got was three grand less than what their website's minimum would be which was a 29 at the low, and 59 at the high. In the end, I got 1,400 so I'm not a satisfied customer. It would be better for me to go on other places, but it was too late to attempt it. Other than that, the girl I worked with was very pleasant. She said the amount was low and even recommended that if I had time, I could go somewhere else. Then, when I got the check, I couldn't cash it because people didn't want to accept it since they changed their checking format. So, somebody accused me of a fraudulent check and it wasn't fun. It took me two days to cash the check, until I finally got to Wells Fargo bank. But they also almost accused me of fraud. So, the customer service reps of TitleMax in front were great. But their people in the back were horrible and misrepresenting their services.

I've had multiple loans with TitleMax. They are convenient to use and they're fast. But the last one I had was pretty slow because they were waiting on somebody on the other end of their computer. Besides that, the rep I talked to was very nice, wonderful, and she knew what she was doing. She even remembered me when I came back in. They told me that if I came in they could refinance it with cheaper payments and paid in 5 months. I went in after having major surgery and it took them about 2 hours to do this. I was in a lot of pain so my thinking was not good. It ended up that I would have interest only payments of 124.00 and I could pay more than that. In order for me to have loan paid in 5 months I would need to make payments of 300.00 or more. Of course I was in pain and I signed. The problem they assured me my payments would be cheaper. That was a lie. I am making double payments than before. They are dishonest and took advantage of my medical condition.
