I got a loan and like no other institution that lends money you end up paying double. Whatever your payment is a month you have to pay over it to be applied to the principal. If your loan is $4000 with a $500 payment every month you can pay $500 for 2 years and never pay on the loan and we know $500 times 2 years is way more than $4000. That's just wrong and is a ripoff. A portion of my payment should go towards the loan not just interest. Who allowed this crap? Which politician? Politics. These business hurt communities. Not at a bank not even a car lot treats you like this. Just terrible.

So if they give you a $1000 loan you will pay back $5000 or lose your car for $1000. Please don't do it. There are other options. Run up your credit cards if you have to.

They loaned me 55 hundred and I wasn’t going to do that. They gave me a payout of 6300. When I came with 6300 they said it was 6100 and it took 2 wks to get the difference. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE DAILY INTEREST FEES: From my own recent experience, they ripped me off real good!! They will charge you DAILY INTEREST FEE. (They call it interest late fees OR FINANCE CHARGES -_- ) Example : You get approved for a loan Today (you Borrow $3000). Tomorrow they will start charging you $12.99 (as of interest rate 12.99% in my case ) and they will charge the same amount each day until you make you supposedly first MONTHLY payment and when you do ---> ( in my case was $500/month ) here's what's gonna happen: $12.99 x 30 (days) =$389.7 $500 (monthly payment) - $389.7= $110.3 (they will charge you $389.7 as late interest fee ) and the $110.3 will be off you general balance!! The rep has completely misrepresented the conditions. and I'm so disappointed! ONLY USE TITLEMAX IF YOU WILL PAY the whole balance in a week or so!!

They told me, "Pay it off as fast as you can. Every day is 18%." If I take a year to pay it off, it would be a $20,000 interest on a $4,500 loan. It's very dangerous and should be illegal. And they said that they just passed a new law in Texas where if it’s the first title loan and if you pay it off within 30 days, they’re not allowed to charge you interest. The interest rate doesn’t help but sometimes you got to do what you got to do. It's risky if you don't have the money but if you’re going to get out real quick and you’re sure, it’s an okay deal.
