The rep I had was really polite, nice, and personable. He was very knowledgeable about the process and really worked to make me feel comfortable. He took pictures of my vehicle, explained what the process was and how it worked then walked me through step by step. TitleMax put me at ease by helping me pay some bills and giving me the funds that I needed. They're very personable. I really liked the fact that since it was my first time working with them, the agent really made me feel confident in what I was doing.

The computer was buffering when I was at TitleMax so the process took a lot longer that it would normally do but other than that, it was good. The rep was nice, very straightforward and considerate. She kept apologizing due to the machine being down and she offered me something to drink. She was trying to keep me patient. The rate and terms of the loan were a little too much than I can chew but that’s the way the cookie crumbles. I needed a loan because I was having money issues. The loan helped me achieve what I intended to achieve.

Everything went smooth and great until I went to put the tag on my car. TitleMax had already put a lien against my title and I couldn't get the tag put on my car. They are supposed to call me back to let me know that I could go and purchase a tag and put the tag on my car so I could drive it. But if I don't get the tag, I can’t drive the car. The rep was trying to tell me that I needed to take the matter with the DMV about my tags but the DMV told me I couldn't get the tags on my car because of something about the process of the title. So, I told her. I don’t know if I can purchase these tags and put them on the car if TitleMax got a lien against it and I don’t know what kind of lien they filed against it. They didn’t tell me anything.

Everything was explained thoroughly and there weren't any hiccups throughout the way. Anything that was misunderstood, the rep made sure that I left with a good understanding. They do it kind of differently as far as before payment then they want you to pay the whole amount off. I didn't quite understand that part. He said you will be transferred to another part if your payment could not be paid off all the way on the fifth payment. Even if everything was on time or even if you pay more to get that price down, it'll probably be where someone will have the most problems and end up getting their car took in because they didn't prepare for the fifth.

I believed me having the title loan would have been better than Payday loans. I almost went to one. I said, "No, I can't do that this time. I'mma go with somebody who's gonna give me a monthly payment. Once a month.” And I could do that easily. Because my income is not the same as it had been. So I went to TitleMax, and I said, "Oh, there's TitleMax. I got my clear title. Yay." So, I went in and it was a very easy process.

Titlemax is a scam. I signed up and I got a 30-day policy. At the end of the month, if I haven't paid them back the full amount of $4,000, I'll be charged $800, which doesn't go towards my debt. It just keeps me from getting my truck repoed. I knew it when I was signing up for it, but if half of that end of the month fee went towards my principal, it'd be a lot better. Still, Titlemax helped me take care of some bills. It was just unfortunate circumstances that led to me needing to get that money from them.

She looked at me, shook her head, and said, "No, that's not what you say." I said, "Well, that's the truth. I don't know anyone."

This is the second time that I've gone through them. The very first time I went to them, they asked me for proof of address. They explain everything to you step-by-step. TitleMax is convenient and helps a lot. They're not gonna be lying to you. They tell you straight out and won't be beating around the bush. What I liked was the lady didn't try to force me to get more money out like some title loans that I've tried in the past. TitleMax lets you decide.

This is by far the worst company ever!!! I already had a loan in the past and I paid it off and was never late. I applied about 1 week ago for a new loan and submitted all the requested documents and have heard nothing. So I decided to call them to check the status of my application and they told me their customer service department would call me back with an update. I still have yet to hear anything. I sent them all of my personal confidential documents and I hear nothing on what’s going on. I am no longer interested in this loan and will take my business elsewhere. Horrible!!!!

They had helped me catch up on some bills and it's a payment plan back on the loan. I would recommend it 100%. 5 stars all the way through. Especially the girls over there.

I went to LoanMax and CASHPOINT, and they were rude, snotty, and didn't want to answer any questions whereas TitleMax was so nice. Their reps were so amazing. I asked so many questions and I felt sorry for Al that first night. He stayed past 6:00 answering all my questions. I was extremely impressed with that. I had one question which neither one of them knew, and they were both on the phone before I could even try to reword it, trying to find the answer for me. The application itself only took five minutes but the picture-taking was what made it longer. They kept saying that there was too much of a glare but the rep was so patient and kind. She didn't get frustrated or show it at all if she did.

Negative experience, total rip off. Once you submit your title you have to go to your local tax office to regain another copy after you pay it off. Unfortunately when the economy took a hit, I fell into a hardship where it was difficult to pay my bill off. I had been paying Title Max for 6 years NEVER LATE and they never compromised. Borrowed 1000 in 2014 paid it off in 2020 and have given them a total of about 10,000 on a 1000.00 loan. Avoid this loan if you can't pay it back within 1 or 2 months at the most. They won't tell you that. Just go another way.

Everything went really well. We had a problem with pictures though. It took a long time 'cause they kept saying the pictures weren't clear, but they were clear on our end. Also, when I called, they said that it was over about 2,000 or better for the loan on the truck. When I got there, they only gave me 1,200, but the lady told me I could come back. She said they would probably up my loan if I came back over there earlier in the day. When I got there, it was late and starting to get dark. I have had a lot of stuff going on, and I needed extra money, but I haven't had time to go back over. Much has happened since then. Other than that, the experience was fine. The lady really helped and did the best she could.
