My overall lending process with TitleMax was smooth. Their reps were very helpful, thorough and informative. It took two hours for the process to be completed.

The overall process was quick, easy, and simple. The rep was telling me about the process as we were going along with it and she showed me how I'm supposed to fill out the application. I asked for a specific amount and they gave me way less than what I was trying to actually get but other than that, it was fine. It's the best place to go for a title loan.

I feel like it was fake advertising that if people refer someone, they give gifts and she did not do that.

The people at TitleMax were very nice and kind. But I didn't know that the interest rate would go up every day and I'm not happy with that part. The price was 288, and after a week, it's now 500. It's not due until tomorrow and if I wait until tomorrow to pay, it's going to go up again.

They also told me that once I get the loan, I was gonna get a gift card for the referral fee for a referral. She changed that and I waited over four hours there in order for them to get my ID correct. I gave my divorce decree, and it was taking forever and I was over it. I got out of there the latest. Everybody that came in left before me. I didn't have a pleasant experience at all.

When I went in the office, the rep said, "You're the first person that ever did this online correctly and made everything accurate." When I pulled up, she went outside, observed my vehicle, and saw that everything that I said online was the same. I asked her how much I could get. Online, they told me they were gonna give me $900. But when I went in there, she only gave me $400. She gave me a month to pay it back and I only gotta pay $483 back. She told me, "If you don't pay this back, we're coming to get your car." She's good on business. She looked me in my eyes and talked to me for at least two minutes about it. She was polite. TitleMax came through for me. When I go pay them, I'm gonna give that girl a card and a flower. She didn't have to do what she did.

She didn't just say, “Hey, you need service. I'll help you and you go about your day.” So, I would recommend TitleMax to a friend.

They charged me 100% of what was supposed to be 17% and I don't know how they do their figuring. I borrowed 600 and I'm paying back 1,200 and something. Also, they didn't tell me that it was a title loan. I thought it was a regular loan where I would get some credits on my credit. So, I'm not happy with them. I'll be glad when I get them paid off and I'll never borrow from them again. At that stage in my life, dealing with them made me miserable. I'm on disability, I don't get that much and I needed the money for Christmas.

All in all, TitleMax is a great business to go to, and I would refer friends to the exact location that I went to and let them know that it would be a quick and easy process.

I always pay either before due or on the day it's due and they’re not blowing my phone up and bugging me about it. TitleMax has always been a good environment and a good experience. I wouldn't go anywhere else to get a loan. It's as wonderful from one time to the next and they've never disappointed me. My only problem is my phone number has changed and when I go online to try and make a payment, it's still got my old phone number in there and it won't reset it. So, it's trying to send me a code to my old phone number, which I no longer have. I was fortunate today to be able to make a payment by phone. I hate taking up the rep’s time doing that when I could go online if it would just cooperate.

The loan is not great. It's a short term loan out of necessity and the way Titlemax sold the loan to me, it was a 7.5% loan, but it's really double or triple that.
