The rep, Mia, was very friendly as well as patient and kind. I was a bit confused on the repayment part, so she spent a lot of time explaining that to me and she was not frustrated with me trying to understand. She was the main reason I went ahead and did the car title loan. The lending process was very easy too. We just went outside and took a few pictures of the car. I was at TitleMax less than an hour, and with the loan, I was able to get a lot of bills paid that I needed to, so it put me on a trajectory to a good base landing.

Everybody at TitleMax was polite, and their process was fast and easy. The rep I had was highly knowledgeable and gave great customer service. They took care of me and I was out in 30 minutes. I would tell my friends that they could also go to TitleMax and try their service.

People should use TitleMax as a last resort.

The lending process takes more time than necessary. This last time, I had to go to two different locations and in one location, the guy was so rude that it was ridiculous. He just didn’t speak. He looked at me and shrugged his shoulders. I told him I thought he was on a call and I didn’t wanna interrupt him because naturally, when someone walks in the door, I thought he would speak. He had a nonchalant attitude about it. So, I just left that location and went to another location in another county. The rep was just as rude. I was there for about an hour and a half and she was on the phone the entire time. She literally walked out the building to cuss a little bit and then came back in. There were multiple customers there and it didn't matter that we were all there. She was having a conversation.

I went into the Tillmans Corner location and I was greeted by the employees when I walked in. They sat me down and asked me what they needed to help with. Then, we filled out the information on a big tablet. I got approved in five minutes but the whole process took at least 25 minutes. The rep was very friendly. She helped me out because I had some questions. She explained some stuff that I didn't understand about the loan and the payback. Everybody was nice and had a smile the whole time. So, she didn't seem annoyed about my questions. It was a nice experience with TitleMax. It was fast and gave me what I needed. The price was higher than what I expected to be paying back every month but it wasn't too bad. I wish it could be lower but it's fine.

I would highly recommend Titlemax. The website is very user-friendly. Even people that are not computer savvy can go through the site and follow the prompts. With other smaller companies, they tend to try to lowball you, and they don't tell you the full story. But with TitleMax, they do. I went in looking for $750 on my car. The rep said I could take $2,400 total but I told her I didn't wanna go that far up. I took $1,000. Every step of the way, she informed me of how the process works and the timing. When I was a week off, she called and reminded me that the payment was past due. I don't get paid until night and she said, “If you pay it that night, then you won’t incur late fees.” She let me know the rate of the late fees and how they work. But the interest is high and most families use title pawn for an emergency situation.

I didn't get what I was wanting to get back, but what I got back was enough to help get groceries for my house. I have five payments and they're roughly $56 a month which I pay strictly online then I call and verify that they got my payment. I don't have to go and drive 20 minutes to the location.

I knew that getting a loan for the title of my truck would be expensive. I was shocked at how much percentage wise it was...but unfortunately I was desperate. I took the full amount out, which for me was around $9,000. I quickly paid 4900 back. Then hit another rough patch and since I was getting emails and calls saying I could take money out from that original 9000. Unfortunately the store where I got my loan closed. Titlemax sent me to another store that tried for days to figure out how to get me associated with another store. They all said, "I can see the money is available in your account." Finally after nearly 3 weeks of running around someone told me today that when a store closes it kicks back to corporate and no more money can be dispensed...it just needs to be paid off. So now I have bills that I can't pay...and I also can't make the payment to Titlemax... Horrible customer service!!!

This is my second title loan. After the first one I hadn’t planned to take out a second loan, but I needed the money. What’s great about this place is you can pay it off early and avoid the finance charge. Sebation was so helpful and even stayed late to get the money I needed. Most employees would’ve made excuses and probably would just tell me to come back the next day! It’s hard to find employees that care as much as he does!

I do not agree with TitleMax's practices as far as charging a renewal fee. I got a loan for $800. I talked to the guy and he said that I was gonna have to pay back 1,000. I told that was perfectly fine. So then, I went back to work a week later. I contacted them again when I was trying to give a payment of about 100 bucks." But he said, "On the payment, on the $100, it's gonna be a $59 renewal fee." I asked him what was a renewal fee and he said that's the interest. So they are charging me $60 out of the $100 I'm trying to give for the loan and they are charging me every time I give a payment. So if I take six months to pay off my $800 loan, it's gonna be a $60 interest payment every time I give $100. How am I gonna ever finish paying it off? I got mad. But overall, I'm okay with TitleMax. They give me money and they help out a lot of people. But I'm not satisfied with the way they did not explain.

The overall lending process with TitleMax was fine. However, when I went to pay it off, they had already sent my title in and put a lien on it. But yet my son went and got a loan. He had his loan out longer than I did and they didn't put a lien on it. They gave him his title right back. I don't know what gives with that. But I'm waiting for my title to come in the mail.

The customer service of TitleMax was great. The manager attended me and he was great. Everything was good. But then the loan was too low for the type of vehicle I have. I feel it's not fair for them to charge so much for interest but then again, that's how this company is. They take advantage of people who really need the money. And as a senior citizen, I'm still confused about that. TitleMax explained it, but they never put it in layman terms. My question was, if I borrowed $2,700 and gave TitleMax my car, what exactly do I owe them back? They were unable to answer that question.

I decided to go with the personal loan with TitleMax instead of the title because my title wasn't for the State of Texas. The rep asked for my savings account to see how much I get paid. She was informative and very patient with me. I expressed to her my concerns, and she was understanding about it. So, she was great. I told her towards the end that she did a wonderful job. She was very sweet and understanding, and gave me other alternatives as to what I can do since I couldn't do the title loan. And the smile on her face as soon as I walked in. Usually people walk into a place, some people don't give you that welcoming smile, but she did.

In the beginning, when I was gonna download things to save time and I returned back to the office, it seemed there were some issues with what I entered. I thought I had entered everything and it told me I did but when I got there, it didn't seem like it either saved anything or captured what I previously entered. It took a little bit more time than what would have normally happened. But they periodically checked on the status and if I needed anything.

I only got about $1,100 and they're asking for close to six back. It's interest based. So I gotta stay in front of the interest and make my payments. It's $17 a day to have a loan so if I calculated that right and I pay that every two weeks and then make my regular payment on the second, I should be fine. If you need the money, go to TitleMax if you got a car title.

The lady that was in Titlemax treated me so nice. I would recommend her to anyone. She told me about the loan and she told me how things work. She was very educated on it. So, I really enjoy just going in there. They made me feel right at home. I needed the portal downloaded. But I was doing clinicals at that time, and I had to go that day. I couldn't learn how to do it on my phone. But they were willing to take me to come in another day just to sit me down and show me how to do it on my phone because I'm over 50 and they know that I'm not that computer-savvy. Also, the manager got there real early because she was working with me. She was willing to come back in real, real early to help me finish. I had a very good experience. I would recommend anybody to them. I will use them again and keep using them.

But when I paid the 145 today, she said to come back June the 30th and I owe 175. She tagged an extra $30. I was like, “Where's that coming from?” I'm not paying the minimum. I’m paying my title out within 30 days. I think what she tried to do was delayed me to June 30th so I could pay that extra $30, but I wasn't trying to look for an extension. I was just trying to pay it off.

TitleMax helped me out good. I'm disabled and I was in need of the cash. I decided to call in. That was the best day of my life. I laughed and laughed. The payment is high, but it's good.

The rep I worked with had a nice personality. However, their customer service is not good. They held $65 of my money. They told me I had to wait 10 days. Then I waited 10 days. Now, the rep said I gotta wait another 30 days for me to get my money back. They said that the other place had to hold on to it, but it was really them that had the hold on it. They didn’t wanna send an email to the other place where I got to spend the money. They messed up something on their end and had to hold that money until the other company would say they wouldn't touch it.

It'll take you too long to pay off a loan with TitleMax. If you borrow $3,000, you got to pay it out within a month's time. Otherwise, you'll be paying $500. If you pay that $500 and the next month comes around, you still got to pay that $3500 loan. It's like you're really paying them $4,000. That $500 is not going towards the payment. I don't like the way it's set up, but I had no choice but to get it. We're very dissatisfied.

TitleMax is okay other than the fact that their computers are always down. Sometimes, we can't make the payments online, and I've had to go in to make the payments. It's not a bad thing but it can be an inconvenience. I did a title loan through them some years ago. That was a really quick get in, get out type of situation. I took a decent-sized loan, which I was able to pay off on my first check. This time, we were in the process of moving and we wanted to make sure we had some cushion cash. So, I used our secondary vehicle to take the title loan so that we can have some extra cash on hand just in case, which ended up being a good thing.

The lending process was easy. They looked at the truck and took pictures and I had to sign. Since my mom's on the title loan, they had her sign for her to verify that she knew that I was getting a loan with the title. It took a little over 30 minutes to be completed but it was just because they had two people in front of me. Also, the rep was very helpful since I'm pretty young and I don't know anything about loans. She would dumb it down for me, which I really appreciated, and she made me feel okay that I was asking a lot of questions. I really appreciated her.
