    The rep, Mia, was very friendly as well as patient and kind. I was a bit confused on the repayment part, so she spent a lot of time explaining that to me and she was not frustrated with me trying to understand. She was the main reason I went ahead and did the car title loan. The lending process was very easy too. We just went outside and took a few pictures of the car. I was at TitleMax less than an hour, and with the loan, I was able to get a lot of bills paid that I needed to, so it put me on a trajectory to a good base landing.

    TitleMax was helpful to me and it didn’t take them long at all. The rep had to get the manager to prove this and that, but it went through well. She asked me for an amount, and I told her $2,000. She said they approved $1,500 but they were gonna send it in and try to get me a little more. They ended up getting me $200 more than what they were going to do in the first place. They went beyond what they should have done. The interest rate is high though.

    I needed a short-term loan and the lending process was good and easy. The reps were nice. But the paying it part has been horrible. The website doesn't work right and it wouldn't let me go on forever. I had got to go on my phone. I paid the interest to redo the loan the day before it was due on the 3rd of July. I did it online and I went through the entire process. I signed it and initialed it. It was hard to sign and I signed it the best I could with my finger on a little bitty screen. I got a confirmation number and I got the screen that said, “You now owe this with this much interest due August the 7th.”

    On the day after July the 4th, I got a phone call from that local office that said I needed to pay my loan and I went through that as well. I got the confirmation number and according to the rep, I didn't sign the contract so it wasn't any good. I had to pay $89 in interest for those three days and she said there was nothing she could do about it. If I won't pay it, they could come get the car. I asked if it makes sense that I just go on there and not finish this contract and say, ‘I'm just gonna pay you guys interest every day. Let's not renew it’. I asked if there's somebody higher up and I told her she could see where I went online and paid it. But nope, I had to pay three days’ worth of interest. When I get it paid off, that's it. I'll never use TitleMax again.

    The experience with TitleMax was fine until I finished my payment. I did a loan for $700 and within a week and a half, I paid it off. They charged me an extra $300. It would have been prorated for it not even being a full month but they charged me the full month's interest. The reps showed me the payment for the seven months that it was set up for and they showed me what the interest was per month but they didn't say that I would have to pay the full interest for a whole month if I paid it off early. People should use TitleMax as a last resort.

    The lending process takes more time than necessary. This last time, I had to go to two different locations and in one location, the guy was so rude that it was ridiculous. He just didn’t speak. He looked at me and shrugged his shoulders. I told him I thought he was on a call and I didn’t wanna interrupt him because naturally, when someone walks in the door, I thought he would speak. He had a nonchalant attitude about it. So, I just left that location and went to another location in another county. The rep was just as rude. I was there for about an hour and a half and she was on the phone the entire time. She literally walked out the building to cuss a little bit and then came back in. There were multiple customers there and it didn't matter that we were all there. She was having a conversation.

    The rep got my date of birth wrong so when I went in the app so I could pay online, it was a whole rigmarole. I had to go to a different county just because of the customer service and I needed to come back in. They had my driver's license on their files and they could just correct it. I ended up not going in and putting in the wrong date of birth each time to logged in. Years ago when I used TitleMax, the guy was super sweet. A year ago, I had a good experience. But this time, it was awful. I would discourage people from going against any title loan company. Desperate times call for desperate measures but I would not recommend anyone.

    I went into the Tillmans Corner location and I was greeted by the employees when I walked in. They sat me down and asked me what they needed to help with. Then, we filled out the information on a big tablet. I got approved in five minutes but the whole process took at least 25 minutes. The rep was very friendly. She helped me out because I had some questions. She explained some stuff that I didn't understand about the loan and the payback. Everybody was nice and had a smile the whole time. So, she didn't seem annoyed about my questions. It was a nice experience with TitleMax. It was fast and gave me what I needed. The price was higher than what I expected to be paying back every month but it wasn't too bad. I wish it could be lower but it's fine.

    I would highly recommend Titlemax. The website is very user-friendly. Even people that are not computer savvy can go through the site and follow the prompts. With other smaller companies, they tend to try to lowball you, and they don't tell you the full story. But with TitleMax, they do. I went in looking for $750 on my car. The rep said I could take $2,400 total but I told her I didn't wanna go that far up. I took $1,000. Every step of the way, she informed me of how the process works and the timing. When I was a week off, she called and reminded me that the payment was past due. I don't get paid until night and she said, “If you pay it that night, then you won’t incur late fees.” She let me know the rate of the late fees and how they work. But the interest is high and most families use title pawn for an emergency situation.

    When I needed some quick money, TitleMax got it for me. I spoke with them on the phone and they said pretty much anybody that walks through their doors gets approved. It took an hour and a half to apply. It was a long process because I was doing a loan on my vehicle and not just a personal loan. It takes a little longer for them to appraise the vehicle through photographs since they don't have an actual appraiser in person. I didn't get what I was wanting to get back, but what I got back was enough to help get groceries for my house. I have five payments and they're roughly $56 a month which I pay strictly online then I call and verify that they got my payment. I don't have to go and drive 20 minutes to the location.

    There are amazing women that work there. Their customer service is tier one. They were very respectful and mindful. They allowed my kids and my wife to come in instead of them sitting outside in the hot car while we did the process. Also, the price is a lot cheaper than one of the other loans that I have. TitleMax definitely is worth going to. The interest rate is not that high which would be another reason why I recommend a friend to go to them. It is very affordable to pay back and it's not hard to pay them back.

    I knew that getting a loan for the title of my truck would be expensive. I was shocked at how much percentage wise it was...but unfortunately I was desperate. I took the full amount out, which for me was around $9,000. I quickly paid 4900 back. Then hit another rough patch and since I was getting emails and calls saying I could take money out from that original 9000. Unfortunately the store where I got my loan closed. Titlemax sent me to another store that tried for days to figure out how to get me associated with another store. They all said, "I can see the money is available in your account." Finally after nearly 3 weeks of running around someone told me today that when a store closes it kicks back to corporate and no more money can be dispensed...it just needs to be paid off. So now I have bills that I can't pay...and I also can't make the payment to Titlemax... Horrible customer service!!!

    This is my second title loan. After the first one I hadn’t planned to take out a second loan, but I needed the money. What’s great about this place is you can pay it off early and avoid the finance charge. Sebation was so helpful and even stayed late to get the money I needed. Most employees would’ve made excuses and probably would just tell me to come back the next day! It’s hard to find employees that care as much as he does!

    I do not agree with TitleMax's practices as far as charging a renewal fee. I got a loan for $800. I talked to the guy and he said that I was gonna have to pay back 1,000. I told that was perfectly fine. So then, I went back to work a week later. I contacted them again when I was trying to give a payment of about 100 bucks." But he said, "On the payment, on the $100, it's gonna be a $59 renewal fee." I asked him what was a renewal fee and he said that's the interest. So they are charging me $60 out of the $100 I'm trying to give for the loan and they are charging me every time I give a payment. So if I take six months to pay off my $800 loan, it's gonna be a $60 interest payment every time I give $100. How am I gonna ever finish paying it off? I got mad. But overall, I'm okay with TitleMax. They give me money and they help out a lot of people. But I'm not satisfied with the way they did not explain.

    On the initial process, I rejected that because I didn't understand how the interest rate works. I only borrowed $2,700 and trying to figure out how the interest rates work. And as a senior citizen, I'm still confused about that. TitleMax explained it, but they never put it in layman terms. My question was, if I borrowed $2,700 and gave TitleMax my car, what exactly do I owe them back? They were unable to answer that question.

    I'm under the impression that I could be paying almost a $500 note for the next three or four years. And it only takes a few months for me to pay out at $500 a month. I borrowed 2,700. So if I'm paying back, June. That's 500. July 500. That's 1,000. July, August, another 1,000. September another 1,000. That's $2,000. And October, so I should be done with it before the year is out. But that's not what I'm getting. They told me that whatever I pay, it would not go towards the interest. It would go towards the loan. It doesn't make sense. If I paid them $500 for the next six months, I've paid the $2700 back two times, and still, it hasn't touched the interest. It seemed like a got you moment.

    I signed the document. There's nothing I could do about it because I was in a situation where I needed the money. But it looks like I'm stuck for the next three or four years on a $2700 loan. Everything had went through, and they were waiting on me to sign, but something came up to me and said, “Don't sign.” But once I took a week and I said, “Okay, I desperately need this right now,” even though I work. “I need it right now. I gotta have this right now for personal reasons.” And it was, “Okay, now I'm stuck, almost like paying a car note $500 for $2,700 for the next two or three years.” Nobody can explain it to me. But it's nobody's fault but mine, because they have my title. At the end of the day, I feel good about working with the TitleMax.

I only got about $1,100 and they're asking for close to six back. It's interest based. So I gotta stay in front of the interest and make my payments. It's $17 a day to have a loan so if I calculated that right and I pay that every two weeks and then make my regular payment on the second, I should be fine. If you need the money, go to TitleMax if you got a car title.

Then next Friday would be the 31st, and I was gonna pay the other half. I was supposed to pay 145 and 145, with total up to 291. But when I paid the 145 today, she said to come back June the 30th and I owe 175. She tagged an extra $30. I was like, “Where's that coming from?” I'm not paying the minimum. I’m paying my title out within 30 days. I think what she tried to do was delayed me to June 30th so I could pay that extra $30, but I wasn't trying to look for an extension.     The lending process with TitleMax was smooth, easy, and fast. I took out a loan against my title for my car. They took pictures of my car and I got approved the same day. I saw the rep go outside with an iPad and she took pictures of the mileage on the odometer, and then she took pictures of the inside and the outside of the car. The reps were good professionally. I called one time because I had a question and they answered it. There were no issues with customer support. As far as payments, they gave me two options. I can pay back one time in one month or I could do it out monthly, but the rep did tell me that I will be paying back more if I pay it monthly versus if I just knocked it out with a one-time payment.     It'll take you too long to pay off a loan with TitleMax. If you borrow $3,000, you got to pay it out within a month's time. Otherwise, you'll be paying $500. If you pay that $500 and the next month comes around, you still got to pay that $3500 loan. It's like you're really paying them $4,000. That $500 is not going towards the payment. I don't like the way it's set up, but I had no choice but to get it. We're very dissatisfied.

    TitleMax is okay other than the fact that their computers are always down. Sometimes, we can't make the payments online, and I've had to go in to make the payments. It's not a bad thing but it can be an inconvenience. I did a title loan through them some years ago. That was a really quick get in, get out type of situation. I took a decent-sized loan, which I was able to pay off on my first check. This time, we were in the process of moving and we wanted to make sure we had some cushion cash. So, I used our secondary vehicle to take the title loan so that we can have some extra cash on hand just in case, which ended up being a good thing.

    In the past, the process took an hour and a half at TitleMax. This latest time was a couple hours. The rep couldn't get the processing go through because everything went down. We were just sitting there for a while. She was very friendly. She sat there and chatted with us and talked to us about everything that was going on. We talked about a lot of different personal things relative to what was happening and make comparison. It made us feel comfortable, though. After everything was completed, we received the funds right then and there before we walked out the door. We did the electronic transfer. It went straight on into the account.

    I got approved for the small loan at first then I had to complete the full loan the next day. I met them face to face at the store then I called the second store that mine got transferred to and saw them in person. They walked me through the process on the computer and over the phone for my app on the phone. The only issue that I had is it would not put the large sum of funds directly onto my debit card, so I then had to get a MoneyGram then go to Walmart to get the cash. That was an additional process that wasn't the funniest. Other than that, everything was excellent with Titlemax.

    Titlemax only takes payments in office or in app. I paid in app but the app would not work properly. It took my payment but did not renew the paperwork. Titlemax called and said I owed more money because their app was screwed up and refused to renew the paperwork without more money even though I paid more than the minimum when I paid it the first time. I should not have to keep paying every couple of days because of their faulty app.

I went to the office and they told me I needed something else. Then when I went to get what they needed, they said I needed something else. It was three days just back and forth. They gave me less than what I asked for, and I didn't know why. I showed them proof of my income and that this was an alienated experience. It wasn't like it was a credit thing either because my credit isn't bad. The representative explained, “They may not give it to you because it’s your first time going through it.” Other than that, the loan still helped me take care of the issue that I had.     I needed the help and TitleMax helped me. The lady that attended was nice and professional. She was busy with some other clients whenever I got there, but it was quick and she explained everything. In every way of whatever I asked for, I needed the money, and she explained how I would get it and how much I would pay and the total amount of the payments and how much would go to the interest and how would go to my payment and how long and how much I could pay more. She answered all my questions that I had on that topic.

    I asked the lady that helped me, it showed the five payments because I got the payment and I had to pay it back on five months and it goes by five payments, and she explained that the payments that were shown on the paperwork were just the interest. I would like for everybody to explain that because my people would think that would be the only payment they have to do and they would do only those little payments, and by the end of the five months, they would still owe whatever they ask for, and they probably would not understand.

I waited a couple of minutes because their system was down. So it was taking a while for them to tell me how much I was approved for. I was at the office for an hour and 15 minutes, and they kept thanking me for being patient. After everything went through, everything was on my debit card instantly.
