I've been a member of this site, Match.com, POF, OKCupid, eHarmony, and Zoosk and this site is among the worst of them. I won't go through all the functionality of the site because if you get on the site it's fairly straight forward. It doesn't cost anything to put up a profile but the only thing you can do for free is send a "flirt" message.

The site has changed since I was last a member a couple of years ago. There's only 3 sections to type in information about who you are and who you're looking for. The kicker here is they only give you 200 CHARACTERS (so that includes spaces, commas, etc.) and there's no way in the world you can possibly type in enough to give other members an idea of who you are! This is ludicrous! And, on the other side, it's impossible to read enough about others to know if you really have anything in common and want to write to the person.

The daily matches have absolutely NO regard to what you're looking for. It's like they randomly send you 30 matches a day and they can be smokers (even if you don't want a smoker), a different race (even if you want to date only within your race), or age. There's no place on the site to list your preferences. The search feature does let you filter the results you want, but like some other sites this one doesn't give the user ANY idea of the last activity date.

I've currently got about a dozen emails I've sent out over the past month that have never been read and chances are that these people are LONG gone from the site. It is SO incredibly frustrating to take the time to write a short individualized email (since that's what we're supposed to do) and then realize a week or two later when they haven't been read, that the folks most likely are not even members any longer. ALSO, if you want the ability to see if your emails have been read, that's an extra fee as it is on most sites.

For those new to dating sites: Do NOT put up old photos (anything older than 3 years). Make sure you're smiling. It boggles my mind to see photos of people looking like they're angry at the world or with eyes that look like a deer caught in the headlights of a car. Caption your photos so readers know when the photos were taken. Do NOT lie about anything, including your age. Make sure your pictures are uploaded so they are not sideways. Get a friend to help if you don't know how to do this. Do not include your scenic vacation pictures if they don't have a closeup of you. No one likes to see your vacation pictures on a dating site.

Signing up is free. Viewing people is free. Contacting them isn't. However, if someone who is NOT a member likes your profile or picture, it automatically generates a "message" to you. Trouble is - you can't read it without signing up. And if you DO sign up and send a message, unless THEY are a member, all they will get is an ever increasing number in the "inbox" icon. They can't see it. I guess the upside is that if you send a message and don't get a response, there is a 50/50 chance that they aren't a member and not that they don't like you.

HOWEVER, there is this "warning" of a "low response rate". I'm not going to respond to something that says "you deserve a flirt" when the person hasn't a clue that they sent it. But they encourage YOU to respond to "be nice". And this will continue to make that 'inbox" look fuller and maybe they will join. I signed up for one month because there were 75 "messages" for me. ALL of them were the system generated BS.

Also, several fake profiles. The messages I did get all seemed to come from someone who found somebody on this site but had a friend who saw my profile over their shoulder and really thinks we'd hit it off. One looked legit, and I did send a message. About 20 minutes later I came across another profile for a different person, but the EXACT (word for word) description of what they like. Maybe you can find a soulmate here, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I almost fell for the scams but just caught myself before I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately a lot of people here are mistaking a response from somebody who actually has a bot program with a fake account. It’s so easy to Pkg a fake account by snagging someone else’s pics from Facebook or some other social network then catfish until you contact them. They usually have terrible grammar or never answer your specific questions is a telltale sign. Telling you their wife/husband just died or this is the last day before their account is closed or they have an emergency won’t you please help? Vultures preying on your search for a partner and urging you to click on a link to hack your computer or android. OurTime isn’t the only one, Tinder and others have the same issues. Just be aware, cautious and never ever click on that link!

I am not into women which are fat, old, ugly, other race, atheist & other attributes & in no way match my search entered. I complained via email; twice & they "accidentally" deleted my profile within 30 minutes! (which I spent a lot of time with details entering!) In addition Ourtime keeps sending the same "deleted" matches over & over each day. What a waste of time & money!

I was hacked 3 times and my picture and profile were altered by the hacker. I asked for a refund and was refused. Money at my billing rate was taken from my bank account after I cancelled my subscription. It was difficult to contact someone to get that money returned. They returned the money, but then money was taken from my account by an affiliated site for LDS Singles. I had never even heard of the site until I saw the withdrawal on my bank statement. They returned that money too. I quit back in February and I've received hundreds email messages since then and continue to receive them. I wouldn't register on their site if it was free and I advise others to look elsewhere.

Over a one year using this website these are the experiences that I have found using this website. The first thing that I realized was when I was receiving letters, the letters that were given to me were very generic and standard letters. They don't write an original letter based on what you see from the profile. Many women here are using what we call "cat fishing" meaning that they fish you with sexy greetings or inappropriate conversation for adults. When you talk to them after their SMS chat program, most girls will respond with another question after you ask them a question. Some other folks will just keep writing your questions like an icebreaker conversation when you never texted them in the first place.

I had an experience where I gave several ladies a gift where I can contact them outside the website and 3 ladies only gave me one letter sent to my private email but after that they would not reply anymore In my email. When I try to Explain to them online why did they not reply anymore to my emails; they would say, "We have bad Internet issues" or they don't have Internet. Some of them have claimed that in the Ukraine they have restrictions about using social media to communicate with others other than the website.

When I politely asked them to stop giving me dirty language what you do in the bedroom on the chat as the first greeting, Their answer is, "We don't know what to say to get you to notice me." When I tell them to stop sending adult conversation as a first reading to my chat they are very rude and impolite. They all have occupations of lawyers psychologists etc. but when they talk about relationship they think the only way to get a person to talk adult language to them to start a relationship. They can't have meaningful conversation and they hide a lot of their feelings. If you start a new website account and act a different way than the way they are used to talking to you, you will know their total behavior and immoral practices.

When I have called customer service representative about their ladies, the only response I received is, "We cannot control what a lady says or do here." I know they can explain to a lady there adult conversation as a greeting is not a polite way to start a conversation with someone and their generic letter should be more personal than the stuff they give to people. I even explained to the representative how they are cheating by telling you they are in love with you but you know they're cheating when you are on a different profile. Again the agent would say, "We have no control what a lady does on the website."

The customer agent Would not refund me any amount back from conversation or gifts that I have given to other people due to the fake girls. They tell me of the girls are not fake because they do a personal greeting with them to see what they look like and valid ID etc. but when I tried to tell them they're fake because of their actions and attitudes they say, "We are not running a scam website." Furthermore they will not answer any more of my customer service notes to them and I'm trying to find a way to seek a class action lawsuit against these fake girls. Also I have found some of these ladies on other dating Ukrainian websites.

$100 for a 6-month subscription is too much to spend for what you get. In four months, nothing that looked quality popped up in my inbox, and most of those that did arrive were silly little "pokes" without any real message attached. Additionally, the interface for this website is not easy to figure out. If you want to hide your profile, it's apparently not possible. Likewise, it's very difficult to figure out how to cancel your account once you become disillusioned with the whole process. Even after I canceled my membership, my profile was visible to members, so I had to take the time to remove all photos and text that I had placed on my profile.

One last thing: the website is filled with ads for OTHER dating services, but you think it's still OurTime when you click on it. So this site is always trying to get you to sign up for another service that requires more money from you. Use the free services if you want to do online dating and just make sure you specify the age range you're willing to date.

Many of the men have one of several oft repeated one sentence self-descriptions, so they are either fake or by people so unable to communicate they must pick a pre-written one. The very few genuine or interesting men seem to get so many replies that they get lost in the confusion, as some have said to me. A few have been perverts, whom you can block. Business wise, you constantly receive pop-up pleas to upgrade, even when trying to do things like cancel automatic renewal. When I apparently accidentally accepted one of these, my complaint went unanswered until I appealed to the credit card company, at which point Ourtime did take the trouble to fight the credit company refund to me.

I recently created an online profile for OurTime. Since you can't see or read message unless you're a paid member, when I saw the (onsite) offer of a subscription at 65% off regular price I was ready to subscribe. That's where the problem started. No matter how I tried to process my subscription payment, I received the message that my payment was declined. I tried subscribing through the app as well as on the desktop site. I tried PayPal, 2 different credit cards and a bank card. Despite the fact that all of these payment methods had ample funds from which to draw at, the result was the same - payment declined. On 05/28, I used the customer contact email offered on the site. Today is 05/30 and I still haven't gotten a response.

On 05/28, I also called customer service and was told I needed to contact my financial institutions to resolve the issue. I told the customer service rep that I had done that and was told the problem was not on the payment end but rather on the website's end. The customer service rep offered to sign me up over the phone at full price as he did not have the option of processing the discounted price. I told him this was unacceptable and he told me I would have to go through the site to make have the reduced price apply. I repeated that I have been unable to do that which was why I called. He again suggested I contact my financial institutions to see why my payments are declined. It was at this point that I asked what other means were available to process my subscription at the discounted price. He said he'd let the technical team know there is an issue and I should try again in a couple of days.

Today is 05/30 and I'm still not able to pay for a subscription through any of the methods previously tried. So I once again called customer service. "Princess" said she sees that I emailed about the problem. She told me there was no problem with my account so I should contact my financial institutions (here we go again). I explained to her that was not where the problem lies. She offered to sign me up over the phone but could only do a 25% discount that way. I told her I wanted the 65% discount shown on the site. She said it wasn't possible that I would have to sign up through the site to get that discount. When I asked to speak to her supervisor she told me she would give her supervisor my contact information and someone would call me back within a day. I told her I'd wait on the phone while she located a supervisor.

After a brief hold Princess came back on the line and said her supervisor was busy and that the supervisor would call me back within a day. At this point, I'm beyond annoyed. I strongly believe this is a Bait and Switch deal. I'm sure my payment would have no problem being processed if I wait until it's back to full price.

I did receive some nice comments from others on the site, which was good for my confidence. I was nervous about dating because I haven't dated since my divorce 7 years ago. I went on two okay dates that didn't work out. My number one complaint is there are a ton of scammers on the site. They ask for your email and then email from a fake OurTime email, so that you will click on their links. Long story short a scammer hacked into my account and messaged a ton of people, changed my profile, and put a pic of a 25 year old. I called OurTime and they helped me reset it. However the scammer already said crazy things to others and a lot people blocked my profile! Then the next day someone was using my account again. I had to call and cancel the account and they refused to refund me even though I had just paid for another month.

I joined this site expecting to find mature 50+ singles as myself. I initially received many notices that men were reviewing my profile. Within the first evening I received 4 contacts that were scammers. All 4 were instantly in love with me planning our lives together and all 4 immediately wanting my offsite contact information from me because they were not renewing their subscription or were viewing from a friend's subscription that was leaving the site as well. One put himself in a position that he desperately needed $7000 in CASH mailed to him at a USA address that would forward it to him in the UEA where he was "stuck". Now that I have stated in my profile not to contact me unless you are real and not a scammer I'm not receiving anything but viewers. Don't bother.

I don't want to waste my money and time to find out that all of the messages (there were quite a few) that were coming in were from people who I wouldn't have chosen. At least there should be a preview of the person sending the message. That might be worth paying a fee for.

I signed up 15/08 to the site and thought it would be an honest place since it's for mature people. I was emailed by this man on the site. He's a longstanding member of Match as well & I suspect many other sites. He & I exchanged a few emails where he started using what looked like common interests & other tactics in order to gain trust & a bond. He bored me what I thought was his life story. Even revealing details that should remain private about his family. He confessed he had been 'stalking' me & many other exotic women (black hair, dark olive skin, dark eyes) every day for months. His type- Asian, middle-Eastern, Mediterranean, mixed race or **.

He will feed you a load of fantasy & lies about his life in order to gain trust & then progress onto sexting, phone calls & a one night stand or two. Perhaps even for a few months. Before he starts backing away two-timing you & ready to go onto the next victims. It must take some planning. I learnt that this is what he does 24/7 every day. He very quickly suggested we exchange phone numbers and started texting each other. He sounded reasonably educated and said he worked in finance. Lo & behold he preys on both victimised women with problems as well as well groomed, educated career types. The photo he uploaded with him standing around a couple of nice cars is far from the reality. A rusty old car sitting on bricks & a tiny old two-seater that regularly breaks down is the actual reality. That's when he can be sensible enough to not run out of petrol in the middle of the motorway.

He is a sad looking balding sight, with a pockmarked hairy back resembling a crocodile's, fungal warts on his scalp & talks about nothing else but his past conquests ex-wife, ex-girlfriends & horrible family. Btw the ex girlfriends also fill in as **-buddies, so beware. His health problems sound like a publication in a health journal for grubby diseases. ED could just about, be excused if he had a monogamous bone in his body. He does not & has never practiced safe sex. Don't expose yourself girls to horrible stds. His mouth is not just for stringing out lies, it's been part of this dangerous man's tools for picking up disease from the immoral individuals like himself & passing it on & endangering the health of otherwise healthy unsuspecting women.

He is mentally ill, a penniless hoarding hermit living in a small village in the South of UK, surrounded by dust & mildew, living in one room in a dark dingy delapidated rented grimy dirty smelly house, with decaying food, filthy carpets covered in women's hair, dry skin particles & heaven knows what else. The stacks of dusty old newspapers are a sight to behold. He has nothing to offer anyone. He might try to fool you by mentioning how it would be nice to settle down get married & have children soon. Don't fall for it. It's nothing but a string of lies.

Just a warning girls. Don't fall for the attention & attempts to win your sympathy. You are simply one of many that he has on the loop. Very soon a matter of weeks or months, you'll soon be faced with stark reality as he starts the disappearing act saying "We could be better as friends" as the entire act is being played all over again on the next victims. You've been warned. Give him a big miss!

I went to update my profile, and it had a 200 character (not word) limit. This means about 2 sentences to a field. How am I supposed to say anything meaningful in 2 sentences? They are treating it like a dating app, not a paid for dating site. For the prices they charge, you should be able write at least 2 short paragraphs per field. Even the free dating sites let you write enough about yourself. I contacted them about this, and got a form letter back that had nothing to do with what I asked. Technical support reset my passwords and finally told me my account had been hacked - after they supposedly "cleaned up" my account I still was not able to consistently log in.

I finally called to cancel my subscription and was told since I actually used it I would still be charged the full amount for the six months of service even though I was only on for less than three weeks - "no way to authorize any type of refund" said the foreign sounding voice. Technical support tried repeated to tell me my login issue was a problem on my end - that I needed to check my internet connection (which was fine), remove any firewalls (sure, I'm going to do that for them), clear my cookies (and reduce my connections to several regular account I use)… Just full of crap!!! Don't use OurTime, certainly don't sign up for anything beyond one month if you do insist on trying it and be aware of possible damage to your computer and annoying unwarranted emails thereafter. The bar scene stinks for us older folks but at least you can usually just walk away - no such ease with this online stuff.

When the person I emailed got back to me I had already seen the scam they had 2 times. Three women all international business women out of country on big business deals overseas. I knew then it was scam final message from one. She had been robbed. Had no Id, no passport or money left and needed money badly would I send it. Apparently the only thing they left her was her phone so she could contact me. The only money I lost in this deal was the sign on fee for the site. I dropped out after 3 days even though I had a 6 month subscription. No refunds. The site is set up to revile after six months automatically. I canceled that but don’t trust that will work. About a month into it, and being asked to reset my password again (I believe I had already set it up 4 times by this point), I reached out to their customer service. They acknowledged they were locking me out and provided a few possibilities, none of which applied to my usage. This is likely an authentication issue on their end they need to fix.

They finally closed my account but refused to refund me as they said I still had access to their email. When they send daily emails with notifications, you can get to their email through a link in those daily emails...It only works once a day and you cannot access other areas in their site without logging in. SO being constantly locked out prevented me from updating my profile or other activities along with just limited email access. They didn't help and didn't refund me. Marketing material is very misleading. I've yet to find a button to hide my profile as I don't want to use the site at the moment, so that means that unsuspecting women will be sending emails with no idea that I won't be reading them. I truly dislike these folks. Besides the usual excessive marketing emails and teasers that lead you to think you can actually accomplish something without paying, in my judgment, they over-monitor profiles. To be specific, I noticed a couple of profiles where the user name was actually the person's whole name. I was tired of my user name, so I changed it to a combination of my first and middle name, as all one word, but not my last name. They changed it to just my first name. Then I made a collage of pictures that showed my face and reflected my interests. They deleted that photo because they said it was trademark infringement. (I used a similar collage about 2 years ago on a number of other sites and there was never such an issue.) There is no appeal as they said in their message to me that they do not respond to emails. Take what these reviews say seriously. Are there more bad ones than good? If I could give a ZERO I would. Because once you are involved and finished putting your wallet away, and you've got your profile complete...you're going to have to pay attention to these messages you get. In the case of a woman making a profile, expect to be called ’Dear’, be told you are beautiful, and realize how a majority of responses to your messages are created by bots (robots). In the case you do happen to talk to a real human...be satisfied with the fact that it may not even be an adult your talking to! I do not think an adult would be sending you flowers and fruit baskets, then asking for money. OF COURSE, the money is to travel to meet you! OF COURSE it will be PAID BACK TO YOU. It is not true, and it should be shut down.

I think any reviews that are positive are complete BS and should be in a class action lawsuit!!! I'm starting one without a doubt. So unless you want to be lead on thinking that someone wants to meet you, save your money and go to the Application called MEET UP. I am tired of seeing older people get screwed, so yes I'm starting a meetup for older people in my area to meet others thru similar interests. No paying anything to join. You meet real people. You can use that app in your area and do the same. After 3 days of trying to get into my acct to cancel my subscription I got angry enough, googled a phone number for OurTime and called them. I was notified that they had immediately cancelled my subscription right after approving my profile & pics (16 days ago), because they "thought" someone was trying to hack into my acct. My question was, so Why wasn't I notified??? They already had my credit care #, email address AND phone #. So they didn't even try any excuses as to why I wasn't even informed.

Adding insult to injury I had discovered yesterday that they had sent out dozens of flirts on my behalf too!!! My saving Grace was that because the morons had immediately cancelled my subscription apparently no one received the flirts (?). Your guess is as good as mine. On other dating sites that I have tried they have had many, many, many of the same pictures of men for a minimum of 10 years!!! Even better, they change up the profiles but continue to use the pics. Above I had to rate OurTime and it only gave me 5 marks that I could give it, so I gave it a one when in fact I wanted to mark them -10. I made the mistake of buying a discounted 6 month membership. 3 months in I was uneasy because two members had been aggressive and highly sex sexual. The site is supposed to be for over 50 year olds who are looking for a relationship. They profess to screen profile postings. Last week I scrolled through the "Views". Only a photo and first line of profile is shown. This man wrote, "I ** every day". That was only sentence on post. I immediately reported him, and called customer service dept to request refund of 3 months future membership. She denied, refused to connect me with supervisor. This company should never be allowed to be in business. They are scamming customers.

I have no recall of ever signing up to OurTime or giving them any personal details. However, I was seduced by an offer of one month's membership. I was told that unless I cancelled, the full amount would be taken from my account the following month. As I was going to be away then, I cancelled prior to that date. I was asked for my password but as I don't recall ever having given one -if I had, I'd have asked for it to be 'remembered'- I couldn't provide it, subsequently, another month has been charged to my account and thus far I can find no way of exiting the site.

The instructions said I could change my password but when I clicked onto "Change Your Password" it took me back to a picture gallery of members!!! This site clearly isn't the right one for me. I now feel as if I'm in a maze, which is entirely the wrong sort of place for someone who suffers with claustrophobia. I'm feeling trapped. If I could locate a Homepage for the site it might give me a clue as to what steps to take next. At the moment, the inability to give a password and the seeming lack of availability for providing one is holding me prisoner and I have a diminishing bank account!!!

So it appears, like for many reviewers, the site is a waste of time and money. A lot of flirts and messages that say the exact same thing, one clue it's bogus. Had one guy state he was military, stationed in Afghanistan, widowed etc. Having been in the military and plenty of family that were, I asked where, what he was doing etc. Gave me a generic explanation and I googled the unit he was in. What a surprise that his description was the exact same one from Wikipedia. Deciding to play along, I offered to have my nephew meet him as he was heading to the same area. Never heard another word! Go figure.

So either men don't read or the site sends you fake messages that are nowhere near what you state you are looking for. They are either pictures of women, out of the area, out of the age range or don't have pictures to start. This site is truly a waste of time and money. I can go hang out at the local bar or casino for the same results.

Oh, and customer service is worthless. I asked how to hide your profile so that you can go through the multitude of fake messages and flirts without getting more and it's not possible. So while there may be a real, honest person in there it takes forever to get to it and by then they have moved on. Don't blame them at all. I would be doing the same! I turned off the auto renewal and in the end just deleted the account a week after paying.

For those that are looking to stop the renewal, look under account settings in your profile. They keep changing the site so look for account settings, more account settings or something similar. It was a couple different layers to get to it but it should give the option to stop auto renewal and then hide or delete your profile on the next page. Good luck everyone and buyer beware!

I enrolled and paid for six month; They deactivated my account only after two month?

I contacted the customer service and they emailed me that they found nothing wrong. I can close the pop-up ad by click on the x at top of the right corner. That's absolutely baloney. This pop-up ads in itself is a scam. It should not be allowed even on the screen at all. This is the second time I enrolled on this site. I was on this site 15-20 years ago after split from my wife. In error I apparently missed the mark & renewed when I was only a month into my subscription. I immediately called my credit card, explained it was an error & they did a chargeback. Initiating a chargeback shut down my account. Period. I had to call & they "gave/comped" (in their words) the days I had paid for on my original subscription. At that point I explained my dilemma & asked to cancel. I was told no due to the chargeback process.

Long story short, they responded that the charge was valid, it went back on my credit card, & even though I paid for this additional subscription, my account is still locked. I paid & have no access. They told me I would have to wait 90 days for their systems process of a chargeback (even tho they responded to my credit card immediately). We are now well past the 90 days & NOTHING!! I HATE THIS SITE! THEY ARE THIEVES! Wish I had read the reviews before I signed up! And I too went in to modify my profile & found out it could now only be 140 characters. What can you say with 140 characters? This site should be shut down. Where do I begin? OT self generates messages to members. I spoke to one man who said he spent hours responding women who had thought that he was sending them flirts. He took the time to explain to ALL of them...that he did not send these messages. When I realized this was happening I looked on my sent file and saw dozens of flirts I had not sent and even, to make it even more creepy...detailed messages that I had not written.

Most recently when I was erroneously charged a renewal that I did authorize... I might add about a week prior to the end of the period. All I wanted to do was stay the week since there were a couple of men I chatting with that I wanted to keep in touch with. I sent OurTime a non too-pleasant message about the renewal and about the fact that they took the renewal before they should have thereby cheating me of about a week that I had already paid for... They never responded. Subsequently, my messages (admittedly and in my opinion deservedly) became angrier. Basically I told them just what I thought of the way they do business. After about a week passed I saw that they had issued a credit and had closed my account making it impossible for me to check remaining messages. Reluctantly I decided to pay for one more month so that I could at least tie up loose ends and continue with the few interesting men I was speaking to...

BUT… OT locked me out. I entered 3 CC's...trying each one a couple of times in disbelief that every single one was declined. This is when I realized that I had insulted them to the degree I was flagged and even though their huge windows asking me to renew. They were not going to allow it. So I attempted to add something to my profile in hopes that maybe these men would see it and contact on me on email. OT then erased my profile claiming that I had embedded information that was not allowable which was interesting because I was accustomed to seeing many profiles where men embedded personal info, phones, emails...even using their full names in their screen name. Clearly, this was more vengefulness of the part of the powers-that-be at OT.

FYI. Perhaps this next bit of info will help all of you when you do any online dating. It will not work on Bumble or Coffee Meets Bagel, but it will work on OurTime: when you see a profile pic open it up to its largest size then (on your smart phone) touch the middle of the screen. Several choices will pop up… One of the them is "search this photo on google". Hit that option and if this pic is being used in a fake profile there is 99% chance several scam hunter sites will pop up displaying the photo. So you will know quickly that you are not speaking to a real member. I have only used 3 sites. So just try it on whatever other site you are using. See if it works. It will save you a lot of aggravation and wasted energy if it does. FYI this method will also work on any photo posted on the internet that comes up in a search. What a way to spend my time this morning... So many sharks in the water... So little time. Good luck to all!

This site has so much potential but scammers and some members make OurTime a waste of time. Hackers infiltrate accounts and then send messages to real members trying to get personal information. Scammers can substitute a picture in a profile with another one which is usually a picture of a very attractive person. No matter how many times you write that you do not want a pen pal, you get messages from women (in my case) from across the nation. I suppose it could be worse. I have not gotten messages from women living abroad yet.

The women are often very demanding and not at all committed to having a relationship. It seems like all they want is fine dining and even finer wine. Remember the majority are over 60 years old. You would think that their expectations would be more realistic. Some are still mourning over a lost love and would probably benefit from therapy instead of OurTime. They are just not ready to date but friends tell them to get out there anyway.

The auto renewal feature for upgraded accounts is clearly stated but if you ignore it you will be renewed at a far greater cost. I do not believe that people in charge of the site are responsible for most of the short-comings. This site is open to everyone and as a result you will experience hackers, scammers, uneducated individuals and those suffering from emotional impairments.

I went to the site on the 8th of Dec. 2018. There were no mess. No flirts, nothing at all. No views. So I go away for the weekend. I come back on Tuesday. I thought I would take a look and see what might be happening. I knew my time there was close to the end. So when I get there. I see I got 61 views. Several mess. And flirts. So I got to looking at the dates. Most of them were from before the subscription had ran out. But I was just now getting them. I was at the site days after some of them were sent and they were not there. OOOh and you see... They want me to give them more money to see what I should have seen already. I mean think about it. Why would I only get maybe 10 views in a whole month and then in one day which was December 9 get 21 views. LOL.

Anyway I paid and started seeing who was interested in me. Most were way out of what I was looking for. Last week I got 3 replies from very pretty girls. RED FLAG. So when I went to the site to respond their profiles were already taken down.

I received a 4th while on the site so I responded. She wanted my email so we could talk off the site. We emailed for a bit and it appeared to be more or less a one sided conversation. I was answering her questions and her replies were very generic. She sent me a text and when I tried to call the number there was no answer. I did a reverse number search and it came from Los Cali. She was supposed to live in Tampa Fl. So I did more digging and tracked her email IP address to China. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stay away from this site. I guess I got out lucky. Another his pal was hanging over his shoulder and needed to reach out to me but I'm deactivating tomorrow. And number three below. "Hello dear, I hope this note finds you well. I was online trying to deactivate my account since I already got a life partner here on OURTIME and we are getting married by Dec 31th, that was when my Friend, William came across your profile as he was actually standing beside me, he's been all over me about getting in touch with you. He said you seems like a woman he will like to know better. He lives in the same area as you. He is only here for a job inspection.

I'm doing this because I believe in love and we never can tell where and when it would happen, that leap of faith is all that is needed. I ask that you give it a try, He is an amazing Man also very Handsome too. He will share pictures and more about himself with you, you don’t need to write back here as I will be deactivating my account."

If these are actually 50-year-old men and older then they need to grow up and come up with something more original. I should put his email address in here so he gets messages from us about how they are jerks. I'm 56 and I asked for men in their 60s but I've gotten up to 70 years old. Really. No face, you get deleted immediately. And do any men in Germantown MD know how to dress. One pic was of a man that looked 80 and was sleeping on his bed with a long gray beard and mustache. Gross.

Or they send you The top ten matches in your area with the people picture & their name; Then when you click the photo their profile does NOT come up. When you go to edit matches it takes you to the website but now since November 2018 they have eliminated Username search so you can't look at the profiles they just sent YOU! What a crock of **. The top matches they send you on their header don't match to top matches in your specific area. They could be 90 miles away. OurTime is going downhill it seems. Then the prices have gone up as well. Each discount has a 3.99 Processing fee. So the advertised 25% off has a 20% surcharge for the one month bill! So you really only get 5% off. Not 25% off.

Noticing more Empty pictures lately & when you send messages to folks they don't respond back. That's because People Media maybe using your photo on another dating site that you aren't getting the messages but they are advertising your photos and sending out fake flirts to other recipients without your knowledge of what's going on.

The scammers can also copy your picture & put up fake profiles. I did spend 3 months on BPM, a waste of $$$ and this OurTime website is a copy of BPM with just more diversity & a few more **. When you enter your pictures make sure you UNCHECK the box each time allowing People Media to use your pictures or likeness. Their default position is that they get to use your pictures not only for the site you signed up for but for the 100 other sites they have up and running. I used to be a newbie; now I am leaving here for Zoosk & POF, they can keep this site. Keyword search takes hours to do... I have joined OurTime.com as I am genuinely seeking a compatible man for a serious relationship. Well, the first 10 days I was on, I was contacted by 12 men, out of which 8 were Scammers. I am intelligent, so when one of the guy, I was communication with asked for money as he was in the military, I REFUSED! I had already did some homework on him and he did not exist. I told him that he was a Scammer and guess what, he sent me picture of a Canadian Military ID Cards which was good but fraudulent, nevertheless!

Since, then most of the men that I have spoken to are Scammers, there are some with the same photos, but different area of the city, different age group, etc. I have flagged these as SCAMMERS. Luckily, some were removed but they come back. The Scammers are in abundance in this site and this is dangerous and a time waster! I have found that the real men are looking for a Barbie (even though they are in their 60's) or sex. This is the reason that the Scammers are so successful as the real men have really high expectations and/or they do not take the time to write a good profile or have lousy pictures. Real Men need to take some time to be nice to women online...be romantic and realistic!!

I don't think that I will renew for the 2 reasons: 1. Too many scammers as there is no type of vetting process. 2. Real men are very unrealistic and after sex. 3. This automatic flirts and renewals are designed for money grabbing purposes. Run some of the pictures through Tineye.com or Google and see how many scammers are living the high life as a result of your lack of vetting and women/men who are so easy to part with their money with too many romantic words and attention! Be WISE and Careful! DO not give money to strangers as these men are very clever and unscrupulous!

Biggest complaint is that there is no way to see when someone was last online. Most other dating sites have this feature. I believe this is because there are a lot of defunct profiles out there that OurTime uses to pad their user numbers, so they do not want you to have this info. This is confirmed by the low number of responses I have gotten from OurTime, much lower than any other dating website. There is also no way to bookmark a profile so you can come back to it, and the site is generally clunky to use and not well designed.

The OurTime.com dating site is by far the worst site I've ever used. I've tried and still subscribe to two of the popular dating sites and I tried OurTime simply because I wanted to increase my exposure to single women. This site (OurTime) offers few controls or parameters to limit who can visit you and what that does is waste your time with email or "flirts" from inappropriate people that you have to physically delete. Furthermore, this site allows people to send more than one or two communications and that means one screwy person can fill your inbox and waste your time. There doesn't seem to be a way to filter out the inappropriate people and that can get quite annoying, especially for non-paying members who want to 'test-the-waters' before subscribing.

From their vantage point it looks as if many people are interested in communicating when in fact it's only a few... Or less. What makes things even worse... And I report this from my masculine personal perspective: The women on this site are the least attractive lot I've seen on any dating site. I'm not lying. These people are UNATTRACTIVE in almost all regards. Buyer Beware. I'd recommend the other popular sites like Plenty of Fish (which also has its flaws) or better, Match.com. I've also tried eHarmony but, I think leaving romance to a stupid computer algorithm is NOT a good idea, no matter how they package their success stories. Don't

believe it. I'm not sure how to wind this down except to say that if you do decide to give this OurTime.com site a try, do it for the one month subscription (and wait for the random discounts)... Just so you don't feel like a dope when you realize your mistake.

Senior widows should be cautious. I signed up for a month and was immediately taken to an upsell page. Foolishly, I admit, I fell for it, thinking that it would still be deducted monthly and that I'd be able to cancel if I felt the need. Wrong on both counts, which would have been fine if it had not been for the disturbing experience I had with the site. Widowed 10 months ago and now 63, I was feeling lonely - knowing no single men my age. I guess when you're happily married, you only hang out with other married couples. At least, that's what we did. My son suggested I try the site. I was skittish about online dating, but I gave it a try. In less than 24 hours, I was contacted by over a dozen men, most of whom may have been nice, legitimate seekers I suppose. But 3 of them messaged me 'for a friend' or 'for a cousin' they had been showing the site to when my picture came up.

Supposedly, I was the only woman who caught the eye of this phony friend or cousin. And then they said, they'd found their own gal, so we're going to delete their account, so would I 'Please give love a chance' and email the friend or cousin at his own email address, as he lived nearby my location. Hmm. Ok, I fell for it the first time. But when I got the exact same email from the other 2 usernames on THE SAME DAY, that was just too suspicious. That's when I felt unsafe - as I'd already sent an email to the first guy's 'friend'. I immediately contacted customer service asking them to delete the account and refund my money - almost $120, as I wouldn't use the site again and would immediately delete the app. They refused, saying "No refunds!" And I'd have to delete the account myself, EXCEPT the instructions they gave me only led to instructions on how to delete a free account.

I was unable to delete it, so I contacted them again. No help, just an email from some other .com asking how my experience with customer service had been. So, ok, I made a reckless, stupid mistake that cost me $120 and who knows what will become of the fact that some unscrupulous man now has my email address. At any rate, PLEASE take care when using OurTime.com - or any online business such as OurTime.com. My experience wasn't good, and I fear what may become of it. I wish I could give them a minus 5 star rating, but the system won't let me. I've contacted them 5 times with no resolution. And now, I've gotten an email saying someone signed me up and posted my profile on a ** site. Having been in Christian ministry for 40 years, I am devastated. After an hour of being on the phone a different rep was able to get us into acct. Come to find out birthday was changed, profile changes and pictures of another man was on my dad's profile. After inputting the correct information, the acct was changed again and at the moment cannot get into the acct. We have to wait to call until our timezone matches theirs. Very unhappy. People Media oversees about 22 websites according to their rep. There is no supervisor you are able to contact. Please be aware and get your information off their sites ASAP.

I contacted them 3 minutes after all this and told them to please refund me. They said no because I opened the correspondence. Sadly I stayed, to no avail. Why? So that they would not resell my space and earn more money. My experience was negative all the way, and awful. Profile was "woman seeking man" and there were so many woman hitting on me. Wasting my time and theirs. They kept on changing parts of my profile. Not worth the money.

I have had to report several scammers. There is no way to block users that are miles and miles away from you from seeing your profile and contacting you. I can't log in at all right now and I can't even google how to contact them. I don't know if it is their site or a hacker doing that. They lure you in by telling you that you can see who is on there but you cannot. So they post your pic and personal info when you aren't a member. Then they email you telling you how many people are messaging you. Cost was $107 and now I'm back to being told I am receiving messages but cannot access the website.

Their website leaves a lot to be desired. Things that you think that would be included as a service to the customer show up as pop ups asking you to purchase as extras. Example: confirmation that the person you are sending an e-mail actually gets it. It seems like at every turn, a pop up appears asking for some extra money for something.

I live in Arizona and wanted my search for a friendship person to be local. I don't want to have to drive across the USA to pick someone up for a dinner date. No chance of that happening. When I got their searches these people were from all over the USA. The daily matches that they send are the same people over and over again. One would think that if you looked at a match and didn't like it that it would not keep showing up. Deleting such unwanted matches is impossible. Selections on their website to isolate certain types of individuals that one is looking for is very limited. It seems like their selection process is non existent. Same old, Same old.

Example: I would like to have the option of selecting an age group of people that I would like. Not possible. Their search for matches is based on your birthday. I am a healthy individual and I have found that a lot of people my age are unfortunately bothered with severe age related illnesses and cannot do a lot of the things that I enjoy doing, yet I keep getting those individuals on my match. I could go on and on regarding their shortcomings, so do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and save your money and your time by avoiding this site. Ourtime.com is supposed to be for 50+ singles, yet I was receiving messages from 20 somethings. Obviously, they don't screen their clients. I was also sent messages from scammers. To top it off, my account was hacked. I called customer service only to be told since I used their dating site, I can't receive a partial refund. She reinstated my original profile and pictures. Recently I’ve become a victim of a scammer on this site. As Bonnie has stated on the ConsumerAffairs website, I have also received messages from women, old men with no shirt no teeth, men who look inebriated or high on drugs (?) as well as fake pictures. I received the almost same exact message from 2 men, with only a change in which they were born. RED FLAG! The one I chose to respond to communicated that we should exchange email to communicate off the site. We did. The next thing I knew he was planning our life together, the same thing Bonnie alluded to in her post. At one point I discussed speaking with him on the phone to set-up a time to meet in person. I wanted to know he was real. He originally provided his number and I responded likewise. Chris, if that his real name (?) kept ignoring this request. Another RED FLAG!

After an email of a really bad day, I decided to call the number he provided. I don’t think he knew who was calling him. His voice sounded very young for a 71 year old. He then proceeded to tell me he was at work even though it was only 6am his time. He originally stated he worked 8:30a-5-5:30p. Caught in a lie? At this point my friends and I went to Google, obits, public records and guess what? No info on Chris or his wife who died in a car crash 6 years ago. And so I sent an email bidding Chris adieu. Obviously, he had no idea what this meant. He then proceeded to email with a plea for money. Really? So, WARNING... This site is a scammer paradise. And as Bonnie described in her review “I can only describe this site as looking at a prison line up. Good point Bonnie. Save your money, your time, and your mind as there is NOTHING REAL on this site. Hopefully, ConsumerAffairs can address the issues quite a few of us have now notified them of.

Later a lot of messages being sent were accidental including 12 I sent without knowing it. All have the phrases "You look like someone I'd like to know" or "You deserve a flirt." "I'd love to hear from you". Well you get the idea, you click the wrong place and you've sent a message or flirt without your knowledge. I have been on our time for more than a year. I would guess I'm lucky because 80% of contacts have been real. But that might be my achilles heel. My problem has been more with the quality of men I have met and dated men with moderate to severe mental health issues. I even had to beg OurTime to take steps to consider removing one after proof. Some of these men could actually be a danger. What I'm looking for is to spread the word about some of these very challenged men so women don't waste their time and possibly heart on some of these guys.

My most recent nut no showed twice and then called me a stalker. We didn't speak until 3 weeks later when all of a sudden he had to meet me. He began his initial introduction on OurTime with he just wanted to meet a woman his age that still wanted to be intimate. Yet twice he wanted to break off talking because he'd never please me due to ED. Eventually met. AWESOME first date. Next day break up. Yep you guessed it... ED fears. I invested a lot of time and patience into this man. I think there should be a place to let someone else know his name at least first and where he lives. The guy is a fearful nut. It's just been guy after guy like this. And those who say the same picture floats through continuously are correct.

And, of course, both said they would pay me back. And one of my personal favorites was the one that had the photo of himself, shirtless, with a bit in his mouth admitting that he was "submissive". I have no interest in atheists; I get matched with atheists. I not only don’t smoke, it makes me physically sick to be around people who do. I get matched with smokers. There are ‘auto responses’, for lazy men who don’t want to take the time to write an actual message themselves. I’ve gotten hundreds saying, “Nice profile, would like to know you”, or “Nice picture, you stand out from the crowd.”

The few messages that have been actually typed out are from men who sound like they’ve made a career of hooking up on these sites. One man wrote, “Looking for that last first date, kiss. Ethereal oneness. The culmination of emotional and sensory overload.“ This was a FIRST message! Gross! I’m angry with myself for spending $33 for one month. Then I see my photo and a note in a bubble saying "I am interested in you", "Let's chat" or something to that effect. So, it seems if you just look at a photo or maybe read a bit of the profile out of curiosity, it will tell the person you are interested in him or her. I feel this is deceiving to the man or woman, as to possibly get their hopes up, when there is no interest at all. Just signed up for OurTime after having a free account for a couple of months that I did not use. It seemed like a safe site and connected to Match.com which I think has a fairly good reputation overall. Decided to add photos to my profile on the free account but when I did, the photos were tagged as pending for 2 days in a row. On 3rd day when I tried to log in, my account was not accessible so I called the customer service number given on the message displayed. The CS rep was pleasant and tried to retrieve my account but after searching several ways, she could not find any evidence of an account being set up. She suggested I start over with new account. I did and decided to give it a shot and try the paid subscription. Immediately I began getting "flirts", photo likes and some weird messages... many from out of state.

I then discovered the site had sent out a whole bunch of photo "likes" and posed questions from my account to other members without my consent. Of course, I was horrified! The site sent multiple communications to some members making me look like a stalker! I've now read here that other members have experienced the same. I also read about the automatic renewal issue and have gone in and disabled this feature and will watch my credit card. It's been 2 days and the site seems pretty scary. I've definitely seen strange profiles that seem to be fake with exactly the same "in a nutshell" wording but with different photos and cities. After reading some of the reviews here, I am considering just deleting my profile.

I joined Match.com years ago. I was only on that site for about a week before beginning a long term relationship with someone I met on the site. Match experience was a bit overwhelming but seemed more reputable than this offshoot. I guess I'll give it a week and see what happens. I'm sure there must be some normal people on the site - or maybe they all get quickly disgusted with it and get off? I'm very hesitant to communicate with anyone on the site after reading about some of the scams and fake profiles others have experienced. I guess best advice to other women joining the site is "beware and be safe".

I've been on other dating sites and like Match.com this site is VERY SPAMMY and many people aren't who they see. Here are guidelines that I live by on dating sites:

    1. Don't reply to any profile without a picture. 2. Don't give out your email/phone etc unless you've had a few exchanges with the person. 3. Unless you're considering a long distance relationship, block or ignore those who contact you beyond your city/state. Chances are, the people aren't real. 4. Ask questions and if they don't get you answers that satisfy you break off contact/block the person from contacting you again. 5. In the text of profile look for inconsistencies and evidence of broken English. 6. Prefer to be lonely/disappointed rather than to be lonely/disappointed/broke/identity compromised. 7. Use this site as ONLY one part of your social program and include meetup groups, volunteer work, time with family friends.

I've read many of the reviews, and from my own experience, I think this site engages in some questionable/unethical practices. While it is important to remember, like offline dating, this requires effort, good judgment and a sense of humor, at times, there are some real problems OT introduces into the brave world of dating over 50:

Fake messages ARE generated from your account and sent to other members who you did not screen/select. This serves to flatter you and retain members because you are getting messages, photo "likes" and "flirts" from these members in return. Often, you have nothing in common. You will recognize these by the subject line which will read "ECHO:" And most of them will come from states well outside of your "radius."

Fake profiles are rampant. These are easy to spot because the photo looks like a professionally taken portrait in many cases and the profile will be sparse and generic. These are for appearance to encourage users and likely many set up by non-members - who knows why. Scammers do fish in these waters. This is just common sense... Do NOT provide your email, address or phone number right off the bat. If you do provide an email early in the getting acquainted process - create a separate email account for this purpose that does not include your first/last name. Scammers will use words like "destiny," and "soulmate", often claim to be widowed, will use poor grammar/typos, and will always eventually ask for money.

Infidelity is not the site's issue - but is a fact of online dating. Statistics say 50%+ of actual members are either married or in a relationship and looking for something on the side or something better. Often these individuals will not post photos and use fake zip codes/cities to remain anonymous. Data is drama filled enough without throwing that into the equation. If they don't send a photo at some point, quickly cut your losses. I made a mistake of spending 2 months corresponding with a man who seemed wonderful, genuine, educated...but was "private" about his appearance because he said I was out of his league.

I've never judged people based on appearance (in fact the best looking men can be arrogant), so I let it continue. DON'T do that. He was married. OT will keep your expired account/profile live - and people will message you, but you won't/can't respond. Just be aware of that. Best of luck. But I vote for getting "out there" in the real world doing things you love...as the best way to meet quality/like-minded individuals.

I joined OURTIME about 2 weeks ago. The first person that I began talking to said that his subscription was about out and asked if we could talk on Google hangout. This is the first dating site I have been on and didn't think anything of it when he asked to talk on Google hangout. After talking for a few times, I realized that English did not seem to be his primary language. He told me that he had a post graduate degree in Business Admin. and that he was educated here in the US. I finally caught on and told him never to contact me again. Then began to receive some really nasty emails from people I didn't recognize.

I didn't open them fearing he may be trying to install malware on my computer possibly trying to get my financial information. Today, 6/17, I met someone that at first glance appeared to be a really nice guy. He asked if we could email each other. Should have learned my lesson. Just after two exchanges, this person began saying exactly the same thing the other person did. It was the same person, just different photos and had a different state that he supposedly lived in. I am appalled that this company, as much money as they take in, and with the ability to vet people, just allow this garbage to happen.

From October 2017 to January 2018 my profile was hacked two times. Pictures and geographic location was changed. The company did little except to reset my password so I could get back in and fix my profile. When I let my membership lapse they were quick to offer a 50% discount subscription and suddenly I was getting messages and likes! However, I would have to pay to find out who. After each renewal the profiles that had liked me were withdrawn or no longer available. Yet they appeared on SeniorPeopleMeet another site owned by the same company. When I finally stopped my subscriptions I started to get spam mails to my regular email from OurTime which tried to get my credit card info by claiming I was due a refund. This site is a spam! Their concern for your information security is a joke, and the people who do respond are likely employees who are trying to get you to renew. Avoid this site.

This site seems to cater to Scammers. Every guy claims want to get to know you, "Oh but I live in Gaza, France, always out of the States, but I will be back in a few months. Give me your phone number so we can get to know each other till I get back to the States". Check the profile and almost all of the guys who want your money say they make over $100000 - that is your first clue. They are good looking and look younger than the profile says they are- 2nd clue.

Most say they lost their wife or have been single for many years 3rd clue. And then they say they are out of the States but due back in a few months - 4 clue and then they want your phone number so you can get to know each other 5 clue. It is true you can report these "guys." However you pay for a month of service and it takes less the 24 hours to see MOST of the Guys are scammers and OurTime says cannot refund your money because you messaged someone. Seems like OurTime is actually the scammers. DO WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

Navigating this site is horrible. Don't waste your money. Constant pop ups annoy to no end and they have all these additional charges for stupid things like when the last time someone was online. And be careful to close your account after a month because it will charge your card automatically. I just tried to discontinue my account when my month is up and I still haven't found the link to my account info. They hide it --- at the time of this review I still haven't found it. Oh, and when you set your preferences, they keep injecting matches that you don't want and have to keep resetting... Save your money.

I only joined OurTime.com a few days ago, I have not been proactive, rather waiting to see what contacts I would get. I have had several flirts, and actually have been talking to one match almost exclusively. Very happy with the site, so far. The site is very easy to use, and I am quite impressed by the quality of the matches, and it has been fun reading and responding to the flirts and it is nice to know there are other who are also looking. However, there was a huge amount of emails the first day, a bit overwhelming but nothing to complain about. And the couple of obviously fake responses.

Ladies, be very careful, just because someone is handsome and knows all the right things to say, does NOT mean they are worthy of you. I just had 78 thousand taken from me. Charmed me until I really got worried about mind control. I was doing whatever he asked of me. Check them out thoroughly. And don't assume they are giving the right name, or showing their true picture. CAUTION!!! We feel because the site is for older people, that we are safe. NOT TRUE AT ALL! Be very careful!!!

I was very disappointed with the photos and profiles I was matched with. I did not find most of them to be a good match. Most of the people I was matched with were out of my preferred date range and photos were not up to date. The profiles of some members were not entirely honest. For example, when I said I was only interested in casual dating, I was matched with the same. However, some members were really interested in more than that. So I wasted my time in a lot of cases. I cancelled my one year membership 4 months early, forfeiting the money I had already paid, and never tried OurTime again. In fact, I was so mentally or emotionally exhausted after using the site for 8 months I never used a dating site again. I do not recommend people in my age group rely solely on a dating website.

I hope they screen people better, if possible and verify if someone is really who they say they are if there is a way. No dating site is foolproof, but it behooves the dating site to try to accept on!y truly vetted candidates. Perhaps there could be an over the phone interview to help filter out those people who seem deceptive or not really serious about finding the right person.

I have only been on Our Time for a couple of weeks. ALL of the men that reached out to me have fake profiles & live in Nigeria. There is absolutely no vetting on these sites. It is a catalog for phishers & worse.

In general my experience was okay. It was very easy to use and to make a profile. The quality of the matches is sometimes hard to meet nice people but if you meet quite a few people eventually you do meet some nice people also. I liked that the people seemed a little more down-to-earth. When I used OurTime as opposed to just plain Plenty of Fish the people seemed a little more mature on that site and like they were genuinely interested in meeting someone.

The website itself is very good, the matches though do not represent themselves like they truly are though but that it not the website's fault. It is an easy to use site and app and I will stick with it. I do like that it is geared more to a specific age range of people, it is better than a site that has a broad range and makes it more limiting to find someone age appropriate. Overall it is a decent site. Just haven't had much luck finding a good match on there.

This site is NOT in real time. I found they would keep your profile even after you canceled your membership unless you requested specifically so. No wonder I did not get any response from the men I contacted. I was able to see (in one of pages) that they were last logged in a month ago, two months ago, 6 months ago. Also many different icons and pre-fixed messages are just so redundant and impersonal. Then one day, "flirt" was sent to all without me doing so. I think most messages you get when you first join are the scammers, asking phone numbers and e-mail addresses. Anyways don't waste your energy on here!

I wish zero stars was an option, this is supposed to be a dating site for over age 50 individuals. The free membership does not allow you to do anything, so the only option presented by the website is a 6-month membership fee (which will cost you about $120). I spent over an hour answering all these questions and uploading profile photos and a few photos of landscapes I had taken (since photography is one of my hobbies). Every few days all my photos would disappear, no reason given by the website. There is no support on the website to ask why my profile keeps getting changed and deleted. Everyday they will email you with "so-called" matches, every person I was matched with looked like local gang-members or men in prison. I make a six-figure salary (and am highly educated) and I am being matched with men who have completed some high-school and appear to be unemployed.

This was a complete waste of time. I cancelled my subscription within about a week, but never received a refund from OurTime.com. This is a SCAM, they get all your money upfront and NEVER REFUND your MONEY. I was shocked by how disgusting my OurTime.com matches were. You are able to put in certain criteria you are looking for, the OurTime.com website COMPLETELY IGNORES all your CRITERIA and sends you a local criminal or gang-member as a "special match for you."

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on this SCAM, most members on the site have left. Even when you leave the site, OurTime.com will keep your dating profile up so it appears they have much more membership than they actually do. This is another part of their SCAM. Also, if the men do not look like gang members, they appear to be in their 70s or 80s, I am 43 and am looking for someone who is not older than my father. Also, OurTime.com will auto-renew your membership for $168 if you do not dig through the site and disable this feature. My advice, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY or TIME with this USELESS OurTime.com WEBSITE.
