    I was banned/blocked with no explanation of exactly why. Said I didn’t follow terms of service and conditions. Would not give a specific reason. I appealed and it was denied. Was informed that they would not respond to any further emails and the case was closed. This was after I resubscribed. I will dispute the charge with my credit card company.

    Don't bother with this site. Just like any other dating site all they want is your money. They don't care about you, only your money. In my opinion all dating sites and apps should be barred from doing business. They say you're a match. You message them and you never hear back and if you do it's a very brief replies and just like magic they're gone so do yourself a favor and avoid all dating sites and apps because they're just plain scammers trying to get your money.

    The site is full of scammers, do not waste your money, a complete waste of time and money, STAY AWAY from this site, the scammers are looking for your email, cell phone numbers. Very UNsafe, they are looking for vulnerable woman.

    OurTime gets you to join using fake likes from profiles that are not members and not in your area. It is a complete scam. I'm sure there are probably some real profiles, but I haven't had a profile message me and want to meet. The ridiculous cost they charge to be a member without offering refunds is stupid to join and they are targeting 50+ year olds to screw them over. They suck, don't join. Terrible, horrible scammers run that site. I'm tired of the endless fake profiles liking me that are not close to me. Stupid waste of money.

    As unfortunate as it may be to leave a single star, the start represents the few people that I was able to meet that seemed nice. However, most of the women on the site who sent "likes" were unresponsive as if they were not real and placed to keep you actively searching on the site. The Ourtime team renewed my account weeks in advance of my subscription date without my authorization, refused to acknowledge me, and banned me once I challenged them through my bank. I am still going through the dispute process. Online dating is hard enough, this company makes it worse.

    Terrible customer service. No way to get a person!! Their responses to emailed questions yield a response blaming the user. I was required to solve a visual “puzzle” to verify my account before I could log in. The puzzle was incomprehensible. Don’t pay them anything. Site and service are awful!!!! The so called matches are all over the board and do not seem to have any connection to the parameters set by the customer. I get “matches” WAY outside my stated age and geographic preferences. Again—-don’t do it!! RUN!

    The Ourtime mobile app for iPhone is awful! They require users to login with a puzzle verification system does not work on a mobile device forcing users to log in on a browser. Horrible user experience. Horrible tech. I regret that I ever signed up for this service.

    I have, many times, tried to sign in, but site indicates it cannot use my email address and that I should use another one. I have one email address. Why should I create a second one because "OurTime", doesn't accept my valid current address?

    Cannot log on for 2 months. When attempting to log in, this pops up: "Uh oh! OurTime is experiencing some technical issues at the moment! We don't want you to be lonely, so here are some puppies to keep you company while we're down! Fetch! Pet!" I have tried the solutions it offers, but nothing works. It's a problem on their end. Have contacted the company, but have had no response. They do however, continue to charge me. Have requested to cancel account.

    Customer service is a joke. I upgraded, paid the fee. The charge cleared my bank and showed up on my credit card statement. No upgrade appeared on my account and all previous activity and communications disappeared. After 3 days of emailing with worthless automated replies, customer service insists via email that I have not paid for an upgrade. I resent them a copy of my bank statement and they still insist their database isn’t showing I paid. I called my bank and disputed the charge which the bank credited back. I’m done!

    Nothing but a bad experience. I put in all my data hoping to find someone local. I tried the free service at first. You can see some of your matches, but at least half appear to be fake. It's not too difficult to tell which might be real. Anyways, about 30 days in, I decided to pay for a subscription by using an online credit card company called Privacy to limit my exposure to Ourtime.com. The online credit card refused to allow me, to pay with the card I purchased at the Ourtime site, suggesting they had in the past experienced too many problems. They effectively banned Ourtime. It's too bad because it could be a great option for people over 50 years old to meet others if was managed by actual real people. To me, it seems like the ONLY thing Ourtime wants is your credit card data and then you'll be taken for a ride.

    I have been on the site. No issues getting on but I don't close or log off. The men are NOT what is expected. Most seem to be looking for a good time and not a relationship. The men contact you but don't follow through, just short conversations online, I don't do texting relationships in all. I will have to agree with the others. Don't bother. The men are a bunch of nothings wasting your time. Did get a good deal, so I don't feel like I was cheated too bad.

    Just trying to get into my account to actually finish my profile was EXTREMELY frustrating. Got thrown on a Puzzle that was difficult to do to verify who I was. First 5 puzzles then it went to 10. And if I didn't get it on the first couple of tries the website threw me out. Session logged out. Don't think I will be using this site.

    My 88 year old dad paid $169 for a year and then they banned him. He made an appeal and they responded with, "You violated the terms." But refuse to say what the violation was. Then he can’t cancel because he can’t even log in. They are thieves. They will be reported and sued.

    First of all, I don't know how I got on this deadbeat site. I never sign up for any site where I've got to pay a monthly subscription fee. So, from the few times I visited the site, there was nothing but scammers and low life old men. They've been taking money from my account biweekly. I've tried numerous times to cancel, but have had nothing but trouble. It's like they want to lock you into this site. You can forget about getting a refund. DO NOT GET ON THIS SITE. It takes advantage of senior citizens, and the Better Business Bureau or whatever organization should seriously look into them.

    Question, how many of the profiles are current and real. Many blurry old pictures. No guide in understanding. Some profiles have green. Some have blue stars next to them, guess it shows their frequency of use. Many profiles have no written descriptions; and have noticed my estimate 60% only have a high school education! System set that I can love or like the profile, but I cannot hold it and reconsider to review it later. I have no control over which profiles come into my feed other than I give an age range. It is a basic information. Only been on it for two days, sent out probably 40 likes and with each like I stated what are some of the qualities in the profile that I like. Within 24 hours, I had 25 people view my profile. Only one rep replied by writing. That indicated he had read my profile and wanted to meet. We met, might be potential good friend. At this point with caution people not to use.

    I had problems enrolling and paying. Could have been “Operator Error”. I overpaid & they would not refund my overpayment. Sent multiple requests with multiple responses from a different individual each time. Obviously none of them read my correspondence. So possible love was lost along with my money.

    I tried to set up my profile on this site. That was fairly easy. The problem is, I cannot use the site. After I entered my email, they started sending me suggested contacts. Whenever I try to interact with the site, it asks me to verify myself. The procedure is for me to enter my cell number and it will send me a code. The site, for some reason, will not accept my cell number. So, I cannot get verified. Contacting their customer service had had no effect. I never get any help. They mostly ask questions like who I tried to contact, when I signed up, how many pictures I uploaded, etc. These answers don't address my problem. My conclusion is that they don't really want my business.

    This is the absolute worst dating site ever. So many fakes and scams it’s unbelievable. I am an IT professional and spotted the scammers immediately. I cancelled my membership within 20 minutes of joining. Don’t waste your time or money. If I could give zero stars, I would!

    If I could give zero stars, I would. I'm sure there are genuine people on here but some are just CRINGE. On top of that, they blocked my account out of the blue, with no explanation, two weeks after I paid for six months.     They try to bully you into renewing your subscription. When you don't they go ahead and charge your card anyway, as they did with me. I've put a block on my credit card, I would strongly recommend staying away from these people and go elsewhere.

    They're a scam like ALL online dating sites. Customer service is absolutely awful, and unfortunately they allow "adults" to tattle on each other (aka "reporting"). So if there is something in the text of your post, they'll harass you about it, BUT they will NOT tell you specifically what the problem might be, so how can you, as a member, fix it? I think a lot of the time people just report other members because they're offended and want to make trouble for the so-called "offender". There are a lot of fake profiles, like on every other dating site, and, guys, most of the "women" on Our Time will NOT reply to msgs, which makes me suspicious they are ALL fake profiles, meanwhile the site gets rich by charging horribly high fees. Their Paypal link has never worked properly, either.

    I must have made a computer error of the century, as I was banned by from the website for life. They won't tell me why and only reference security and privacy concerns. Well, it's my security and my privacy but apparently that's not enough to discuss the issue with me. I highly recommend you do not get involved with these people. You are a number you are a paycheck.     I’m on 3 dating apps and this by far the WORST! The first 4 ‘people’ I’ve matched with were all scammers from other countries pretending to be who the profile showed. Also, they match me with people in other states and hundreds of miles away when I set my distance to 50 miles or less. I’ve already paid for 6 months — what a rip off! Do NOT use this App.

    Terrible customer service. No real people answer the phone. Contacted them 22 times by the computer generated trouble shooting messages and nothing worked. Paid 119.99 for nothing. When you try to call the number that is listed, it literally says the number is no longer in service!!!?

    Wonderful wonderful site. I was really only active on it for a couple months before I met the love of my whole life. We are still going strong and it’s been 2 years and neither one of us ever had a relationship that lasted that long and we’re both almost 70. lol. Of course we are from two different states so we never would have met without “Our Time“ so see they are fantastic!

    I was on the site for quite some time and I met someone! I then decided to cancel my renewal because that’s how it works, correct? Two years later I try to get back on the site and they tell me I’m banned because I broke some agreement. Nothing was broken. I just decided not to renew. Customer Service has given me such a hard time, it’s almost laughable and they will not even discuss it with me. There are many better websites out there for dating with Customer Service personnel who are much more friendly.

    I paid for a 3-month subscription, into the first 40 days, I received an email that due to "suspicious activity," my account had been closed. I appealed their decision and received an automated response that it was denied. I lost my ability to contact the men I was corresponding with and could not go into my account to delete my pictures and/or cancel my subscription. I did not receive a response to my 15 email inquiries, nor did I receive a refund. To say that I am disappointed is an understatement.     This is a terrible website. The first 3 people that contacted me were impersonating someone else. I requested an investigation on the first on and nothing happy. Then the next 2 were impostors. I am requesting a refund because I paid for 6 months and requested my profile be removed.

    I made an account with OurTime and several days later having never even used their service, I was banned for no apparent reason that I could determine. I appealed the ban however I was notified that it was a lifetime ban for violating their terms. No reason was given. I am unclear if my profile was taken down and feel I have lost all rights to it. I feel their unreasonable and unfair strategies are on the verge of psychological abuse as I trusted this dating site with very personal information and had hopes of making friends. I believe that it should be their responsibility to notify the reason for the ban and allow the subscriber to make a correction. I would give my experience with them zero stars if it was an option.

    This is a very sketchy site. Unable to speak to a live person with any customer service issues. Be careful putting your credit card information on this app. I tried a Trial and put in my CC for a promotional and within hours was banned from the site without any explanation.

    Don't waste your time! I spent hours putting together my profile only for it to be blocked by them, probably because I said "no Magas". That's important to me! Why waste time? When I asked, they said I may have violated their T&Cs or their Community Guidelines, not even specifying which. I wish I saw they review rating before I wasted all that time!!!     Fraud. Scam. Charged me for two exact accounts. I never signed up for two accounts. Could not even open the first attempt to use the site. No tech support. No way to see what the site is doing. I will report as internet crime ftc and the consumer protection bureau in washington dc. No way to speak to anyone. Even send phone number to the bank.     This site has so gone downhill. It used to be good, just don’t do it! I paid for a 6 month subscription, 2 weeks later it stated I was banned. Why? I have no idea. Customer support keeps sending me a “survey” to see how they did. They didn’t do anything! No resolution, no reason, no response. I told them to DELETE my account since I cannot even access it!! I sure wish I had read the reviews first!!! BEST PART - called my credit card company that I paid for the dating site - man who assisted me is giving me a credit for the 6 month charge! I asked why. He said they did the exact same thing to him!!!! Move on! There are better dating sites out there, trust me!!!!

    I would rate zero but that is not an option. Buyers beware big time!! Terrible customer support. It doesn't exist. They hide very well any link to be able to reach out to their so called customer service. If you can find a way to contact them they take forever to reply and the replies that you do get are full of excuses as to why issues are not on their end and offer no assistance. I signed up using a credit card. When I tried to cancel I clicked on the "I can't afford at this time" button. They then offered a 3 for 1 membership discount. I tried over 10 time to take advantage of that offer, however they kept turning down my cc. I called my cc company and they show no charge attempts of any kind from OurTime. The so called customer support replied to my many emails stating that they don't offer a 3 for 1 and it is my fault from my end why the cc won't go through now, but can't explain why it did when I signed up originally.

    I tried sending screenshots but they would not go through to prove that it is their issue. Time after time their CS said that 3 for 1 was a limited time offer and doesn't exist, yet every time I tried to cancel and click "I can't afford" the 3 for 1 was there everytime. They then tried to con me with a one month fifty percent off offer. Now my membership has expired and they won't allow the 3 for 1 that is still available on their site. They claim it is too late after my expiration date. Buyers beware.

    Terrible. Customer service is the worst. I signed up last week and on the same day was not able to sign in and was told I was banned. I didn't do anything but set up an account. I didn't even communicate with anybody so there was no reason to call me banned. I told them this and they ignored me. I then ask them to cancel my account because I don't need to be treated like this. They still ignore me. This site sucks. I am completely disappointed and it is not 100% free either.

    Ourtime.com blocked my access after I signed up for no particular reason. Then continued to send my profile to other members and send daily emails to me for months. I unsubscribed many times but it will not stop sending me those emails. I want to remove my profile but it doesn’t allow me to sign in again. No reason given. They maybe using my information and profile anyway they want. This is outrageous! I strongly suggest the regulatory agency to audit this business.

    Awful. Lots of scammers and lots of fake profiles. But get this: I was hacked by somebody who got into my messages and sent them back out with false info. I informed OurTime.com about mine being hacked and they shut my profile down. I requested to get back into to my account and they treated me like I was the offender. They told me to appeal my ‘ban’ and I did only to be told my appeal was denied and I remained banned - even though my subscription was still active. What a waste of time and money. Cw

    OurTime blocked access to my account and wouldn't tell me why. I asked them to tell me why my account was blocked and that I would remove any material that was inappropriate, even though I read the terms and community rules and didn't find any violations. They refused to respond to my request. They sent me an email telling me to file an appeal to their ban and that they would not respond to any further communications. Terrible customer service. I only signed up the day before and was about to pay for a subscription. I guess they saved me the trouble of signing up for this awful dating site.

    Don’t waste your money. I got 100+ looks/likes by same guys over and over on my profile and 3-4 messages, to which I promptly responded. Then, I would get no response back. LOTS of profiles will no pics or bios and hundreds of miles out of my area. Too many game players or scammers.

    Buyer Beware! First, the customer service is awful! If you have an issue, you must communicate outside of the app via eMail. The response time is 24+ hours sometimes. There is no dedicated phone number to speak with someone. The app ignores your profile's preferences. The free app is useless. You can't communicate with matches. When you report a problem, they offer a 50% discount that does not work. Do not click on the link that they provide via eMail. Also, I believe many of the profiles are fake. Regardless, why pay for a service where you have to wait 24+ hours for a response? I reported this due to the FBI's IC3 and the FTC.

    Besides, a lot of fake profiles, members lie about their age, how they currently look, and their current status. After a week, they start sending you people from other states...     Terrible Experience-Beware. I paid 22.50 to join OurTime.com, but I couldn’t access my account. I called few times, but their phone just sends you to chat, which was no help at all. I purchased what I thought was a 3 month subscription to a 50 plus dating site on 9-16-2025 to 9-20-2025. I had not even talked to anyone or sent out any messages.     I signed up and bought 6months on sign up, they took my money and immediately blocked me from logging in. I can use my account and I can’t cancel it. I literally never got to view it but once as I added one normal photo and was kicked out and blocked. I never got to use it at all as soon as they charged my bank account. Customer service refused to help me because I have to “appeal” the block decision. Why!!?? I’m a new member who never used their account?! This is complete fraud.     This was a seriously strange experience. I had 3 men tell me that they were widows, 2 men tell me that they had lost their only daughters, 2 tell me that they were raising or partially raising their only grandchild. Then two of them had to go out of town for work. The first one went to Dubai. He needed $6,280 to get home. Just to borrow. The second one that I was going to "meet" Sunday had to go to Malaysia to deal with some materials he "needed" for his business. I didn't wait for him to "need" to borrow money to get home.

    Being suspicious of online matchmaking/dating, I lurked as a free subscriber for 6 months as a non-payer. I finally decided to subscribe to see what was really behind the service. It only took about ten minutes after subscribing to conclude that I had been essentially scammed. All the messages from those who had recently informed me they "liked" me vanished. I tried to message "Susan," who had replied to me today saying that her subscription was expiring soon, but then suddenly she vanished and was no longer available after I tried to message her back. Then in an hour or so later today, OurTime locked me out.

    It will no doubt take 100 times as long to unsubscribe from this site and cancel my automatic renewal subscription as it did to subscribe. And because you never know who is going to be able to reply to you, Ourtime fleeces you again with an assured response by the other party additional subscription. I guess that's because there are so many lurkers out there who can't respond unless they pony up. This is skeleton operation.

    My conclusion? I paid $79.00 for 6 months subscription to find out that there really is no one out there online and you're better off just meeting people in person. Now I'll have to spend hours trying to troubleshoot why I was blocked after having just subscribed. In the meantime, I have to figure out how to block my automatic renewal now and not wait for 6 months. It's never as easy as they lead you to believe.

    I registered and paid for my subscription. My account was blocked 2 days after joining. I submitted an appeal and was reauthorized to use the app. No explanation why I was blocked, even after asking for an explanation. I went to update my profile the next day and received another block. Had to submit another appeal. Never received a reply in spite my my follow-up emails. Customer Service uncooperative in resolving the issue. Would not recommend this app.

    Anytime they call you "Dear" it's a red flag right away. No American man calls a woman Dear, unless they are in a longterm relationship. It's a dead giveaway for ** scammers. Report them to the Federal Trade Commission! I am doing this today!. I signed up for 3 months on Our Time and after 3 days I asked them to stop the other 3 installment payment withdrawals from my debit card because I'm not happy at all. They refuse. So I'm reporting them. Then they offered me a 50% discount to rejoin. I said I wouldn't rejoin if they were the only dating site on the web. I went to Plenty of Fish and I'm getting a lot of messages that I can read and can reply too and I haven't paid a red cent. Plenty of Fish has gotten way better since I last used them over 12 years ago. They have a photo verification tool that helps to verify a person is who they say they are. If they refuse to get their photo verified, block them.

    It's not that hard to get a photo verified, but they come up with all kinds of excuses. You'd think they can't follow simple directions, which I copied to one of my apps so I could paste it in a message for them. Also I found out from my friend, if they try to give you a phone number to text to, and say they claim they are in your immediate area, such as New Orleans for example, and the area code on the number they give you is 504 which is New Orleans area, that's not proof of who they are. Anybody can get a phone number with any area code from Google. Just look at all the spam calls you get on your cell phones with the same area code as yours.

    I recently purchased a prime subscription for the Our time dating app for 6 months for $130. When I logged on the system kept saying that I did not purchase a subscription. As a result, I could not access the website. I attempted to reach out to customer service and they do not provide a phone number for you to call just an email to voice your concerns and issues. They finally reached out to me via email and gave some technical advice that did not work. I ended up deleting the account and lost the money without even accessing the app one time. Please, if anyone is reading this, do not purchase a subscription for this dating app. It's a rip off.

    There is absolutely no customer service. I have been contacting them for a week and no one gets back to me. Except when I said I wanted a refund. Where I was told because I had contact with a member no refunds allowed. I’ve been on less than a month. Maybe 2 weeks. My problem is that my profile does not update. I am a paying subscriber. Any little tweaks that I’ve made never show up. I am under the allocated 4000 words and the tweaks aren’t anything against their policy.

    The first time 2 times complained I complained I was told it takes an hour to update written by supposedly 2 different people. I suspect it's a bot as it was written word for word the same. Another time a person actually updated. Since that time no response. I’ve asked repeatedly a real person contact me and now I’m just being totally ignored. I write them everyday after checking to see if it's updated. This is beyond ridiculous. I stupidly paid in advance for 3 months. I should have checked their reviews beforehand. 1,1. I honestly don't see how they are allowed to stay in business. This is a senior dating site. I feel they are taking advantage of this vulnerable population. Save your money. It’s a rip off!

    I purchased a 90 day plan with all benefits of the premium offering and for the first two weeks I was surprised until I found out I was being messaged by their AI OF BOT. It’s a real scam. A complete waste of time. I received several highjacked messages from Fling and other sites used by Match.com who dies all the hosting for Ourtime. Out of 10 connections I made 7 were BOTS. The others were likely fake accounts that were not created by users. This was obvious when people would tell you that they did not send you a like but what you received was from someone other than the person you were messaging. This system has possibly been highjacked by scammers and/or things were done by the Ourtime monitors that to keep you interested. It’s a trash dump for sure.

    I joined for 6 months again. Have been a member for years. Out of the blue days ago I got notice they cancelled my profile for suspicious activity. I did nothing, zero suspicious and they give no explanation, example nothing. they have NO live person to talk to, none. How convenient. I appealed the cancellation (they did NOT give me my money back either). Within a few minutes, actually a few minutes they rejected the appeal. No way that fast. They even bothered to review the account. I got an automated note if I wanted to do a new account contact them for help? I wrote umpteen times, zero response for days.

    So no reason I was cancelled, no money back, no response to setting up new account, they blocked me from even going on there to view anything. I can not have any access to my prior contacts. I lost them all even though I paid for six months they did not refund me for and they attack my character in my opinion accusing something suspicious when there was nothing I did. I have never ever been vulgar, swore nothing even remotely questionable. I am respectful to everyone I write with. I plan to make complaint about Match group Inc to Federal Trade Comm. They have no live agent to handle this, no response to my emails nothing and I lost my money and they don't seem to care.

    I might also say their sister site Match.com is just as bad. I did a 30 days subscription. I had no idea my profile had been hacked. My 30 days was up and one of the men I had written with we exchanged numbers. He said to me on the phone why does my profile have nothing in it but volleyball. I said, "What? I don't play volleyball and I had a long narrative." He said, "No. It is almost blank." I was shocked. I went back and viewed my profile sure enough they must have hacked it and wiped out lots of what I wrote so my entire 30 days I paid for nobody was even seeing what I wrote and match never told me it had been altered or hacked.

    I wrote match customer service for at least 3 weeks, zero response so I was robbed of a sub. for 30 days in my view as nobody could even see my real profile that I wrote. Match does nothing and only sends auto reponses "We got your complaint" but never addresses it. Both of them need a complaint to Federal Trade Commission period and I am doing so since they refuse to give any customer service, randomly just cancel accounts, let someone hack my match profile without ever telling me as how else was it altered? Outrageous.

    I started an account loaded up appropriate pictures and reluctantly provided the app with my information, address, birthday, etc. within minutes of finishing my profile I was locked out and banned. I followed the steps to get back in and customer service said I violated their policy. When I inquired what did I do they pretty much said we answered your question now leave us alone.     I set up a profile on Our Time and a few months later my profile suddenly disappeared. When I inquired about this, Our Time could give me no reason except for sending me the company guidelines. I did not violate any of the guidelines. I then was told that someone I had been messaging received a message from Our Time stating that my profile had been deleted due to fraudulent behavior. This is completely unjustified and I consider it defamation of character. I tried to contact the Better Business Bureau but Our Time isn't listed as a business with them.

I had several ask for money to help them come and see me. Two wanted my email address to send me things (whatever that meant). They want to get to know you by texting forever. And "matches"?     I have had a profile on OurTime.com for at least 5 years... Sometimes paid and sometimes free. I paid for a membership on June 19 after receiving an email from a gentleman. Since then, I have been locked out of my account. The error message states they can't verify my phone number. It appears they think I am fraud and they can't verify me. I have sent their customer service everything they have asked for, including their receipt, my bank statement, and a bank code, and they are still telling me they can't verify me. This is going straight to the BBB and the attorney general's office! Ourtime.com is a fraud!

Otherwise, you're not going to find anybody in your area that would even respond to your likes.     Ourtime (Match) charged my credit card twice on two consecutive days for the same subscription. Then I was never able to actually download the app so I never actually received the service that they charged me for. There is no customer service to call, only email. When I emailed I was told that they do not reimburse. Therefore, I was charged twice (nearly $100.00 for a service that I never received and was not reimbursed). It is a complete scam.     I swore I would never purchase another dating app - this was 2021 with Ourtime.com! Back then there were tons of profiles before you pay your money, but after paying your money there was only a few profiles. So here we are in 2025 and I figure that Ourtime would have all their issues fixed - WRONG! I signed up again with the same result. A lot of profiles to get you sucked in but, after paying your money (which you CAN'T get a refund) there are very few profiles.     I signed up for Our Time on June 2nd. By the next morning I could no longer login because my account was blocked. I was still tweaking my profile before being blocked. I sent them a message and was told that I need to fill out an appeal form and send back to them. I did so, and received a response that I had violated their terms and conditions. I had no idea what I had done to have received this response. So I contacted them again by filling out an appeal form and asked what it was that I had done to be blocked. They refused to answer and told me that it was their final decision and not to contact them again.

    The only thing that I can think of why I was blocked is because I contacted a member whose profile showed that they grew up in the same area as myself and I made a simple contact saying I was visiting the area the following week. I don't know if maybe this member reported me or not, but why they would is beyond me since it was an innocent message, and since Our Time refuses to tell me I'll never know.

    I joined OurTime dating app. 24 hours later before I even got a chance to pay I was checking out the site, etc. they blocked me. I have no clue why they approved all my pictures. The only thing I can think of is my VPN and for two days these people do not get a hold of you, answer you back, etc. A horrible customer service. Avoid it.

    I asked Our Time to change my email address and when they did, I started having problems when I would log in. They fixed it and then, somehow, in process, they canceled my subscription. I have sent them all the information they asked so they could find my account. And that was 3-4 ago and I have been writing them almost every day to fix my account, but it looks like they have been ignoring me for the past 3 days. So now I am going to have to go to my bank and have them file a fraud claim against them.

    This site is for desperate people who think that paying the premium finds 'quality' compare to 'trushy' free dating sites. They combine same fake, banned, and old profiles from Match.com and Ourtime (same company, same database, same site with different URLs). First they allow creating a full profile with photos. Then ask to pay premium. Once they realize you are a free rider, they banned the access but keep your photos and profile online live, thus creating the illusion of quality and volume.

    When I first became a member, I was targeted for a scam. They had used this site against me. Luckily I knew what they were doing, because they were terrible at it. Some others had tried also, but I was already looking out for them. All the members that they tried to connect me with were too old for me, or lived too far away in another state. For me, it was a waste of my time and money. I had specifically said I didn't want to connect with anyone older than myself, but that is who they kept trying to match me with.     SAVE YOUR MONEY. They say that membership give you the right to email people and be emailed back to. I believe they don't tell the truth. VERY FRUSTRATING website to use. I signed up for OurTime in about Nov 2024 with a 1 year subscription. I sent several email in 2024 to women I was interested in and never knew if they received the email. At least I never heard back from anyone.

    My experience has been horrible: I found it very awkward to navigate the site, not at all user friendly; also, unable to find a person who appeared in an earlier scroll through a gallery or in Highlights.     I signed up for OurTime and was on that site for only a day and a half before they Banned me. I still do not understand why I was banned. The information they provided was rather cryptic and seemed to imply that I was married or in a relationship. I am not married and I am not in a relationship... If I were I would not be on a dating site. I supplied to them my marriage certificate, my husband's death certificate and my husband's cremation certificate to show that my relationship had ended and believing that would clear this up, but it did not.     I too was banned from OurTime.com. I was on for about 2 months Late December early Feb. I was texting with people, went on 1 date. One day I couldn't get into my account. I emailed and received a reply stating "I can request an appeal." I thought request an appeal for what? I replied to the email asking what happened. The email said, to stop asking they will not respond. Wow! I am cracking up, I got banned from OurTime! I did get a refund though. All I could think of is my new profile update shared, "I don't want to waste anyone's time. If you voted for the current person in office, we probably won't get along."     They claim message for free..you're only allowed one per day. They don't tell you if who you message can actually respond. I put the mileage limit of 75mi. and got 90% from over 200mi (out of state) apparently I ran out of prospects nearby. You get zero customer service, it shuts down often and they make it difficult to cancel. I received a couple messages while in my free trial. When I joined those profiles did not exist. I sent out over 25 messages with no response. It is an illegal site and should be shut down. I am furious about being taken advantage of.     My experience has not been very good. I get about three scams a week at least from men who are not who they say they are or who owned the pictures that are displayed. The scammers are very good. They sound and make themselves sound like they are really in tune with you…. very compatible with each other. And once you feel comfortable and start to like them, they will ask for your email address or your phone number so they can text you or call you. And then after a few texts or emails they will say they are from Peru and when they get back to the United States we will meet.

    Once you give them your phone number and you correspond that way through text or voice all the while they are talking to you on your phone, they will hack your phone or computer whatever they can …. getting all the information from you that they can gain from you and then use it to make money for themselves because they’ve hacked all your information that you had stored on your phone or on your computer and that means bank account number. Is everything passwords you name it. It hurts me emotionally because now I don’t know who’s real and who isn’t. You get attached to someone on there thinking you’re a real match, but it’s not true…. 97% of the time it’s not true.

    In the over two months that I’ve been on here I’ve met two people that were real. One of them we didn’t really match with each other after talking with each other and the other one lived three hours away from me in the same state, but it didn’t work out that well either because of course he was three hours away. But I’m at the point right now that I’ve met someone and I don’t know if he’s real or not and I don’t want to take a chance so why should I stay on this site when I’m scared to death to take a chance?

    You get emotionally involved with someone you get your hopes of high to only be disappointed because it’s a lie. I spent $108 for six months to now be afraid to even believe that someone is a real person. Afraid to get to know someone now. I think it’s a waste of time whether it’s this site or any other website. It’s like going to Vegas…. getting on the machine hoping you win. You can be lucky sometimes but what if you lose? This is my true opinion and I hope it helps you in someway. The emotional stress, constantly being hurt being duped is not worth the money that you dish out.

I cannot get past the screen that asks for my phone number. I have asked for a refund several times but they are not doing that.     Original Review: Several months ago, on OurTime, I started to experience posts meant for someone else. I immediately contacted Customer Service. Several of the individuals in Customer Service kept sending me the same forms over and over but nothing helped. Two individuals were somewhat helpful. Shauna did post some helpful steps. After that, I did get emails about the individuals trying to connect with me. But every time I logged on to respond to them, I received an error message saying my phone number could not be verified. Also, Shaik did say he would pass along the issue to their specialized team and told me I should hear back within 24-48 hours. I never heard back. My concern is that OurTime just does not have the technical expertise to solve problems that may just involve changing a few code lines.

    I would not recommend Ourtime to anyone. I have been trying to cancel this subscription for about 4 or 5 months to no avail. When I tried to cancel the app/website would appear to glitch. This happened on multiple attempts for multiple months. I finally reported this to my bank in order to have this company blocked from my bank account. I then went back onto the website and was finally able to cancel and receive a confirmation number. I still had until March 2025, which is a month to access the website but then I received an email stating that I was banned. This only occurred after I contacted my bank and was finally able to cancel.

    This company is a scam and I don’t recommend anyone give this company access to your bank account information. This website will steal money for months even if you try to cancel. If you’re finally able to cancel, then you will be banned. I gave uploaded proof that there were no inappropriate behavior on my part that would warrant a ban. I was only banned because I contacted my bank and reported this company for. Fraudulent charges. I will be reporting Ourtime.com to the Better Business Bureau. I have already reported it to the Federal Bureau of Consumer Affairs. Beware of this Company.

    Ourtime.com allowed someone to use my email to set up a fake account. This also happened on Match.com. I do not have accounts on either platform. These companies do not take this seriously. Ourtime and Match do not have a system in place to double-check emails and identities. They provide a direct route to steal people's identities. I want nothing to do with these sites and would like to remain SAFE. They do not have my permission to use my identity, email, or any information that belongs to me.

    I joined for 3 months. I was able to log in and browse the first day. The second day I was banned and could not get into my account. Now OurTime has to approve all pictures and what you write. Everything was approved and I had started talking to people. Now tell me how can I be banned? There is no customer service number to call. When you email them they send you a message back with your year of birth. I finally after multiple emailing attempts got someone to answer only to tell me I had to fill out a complete form of why I had been banned. I have no idea why I was banned.     Beware of being liked, followed by plausible reasons to switch to e-mail or mobile texts. And particularly if they find reason not to video call. And if they are going to Dubai to collect an inheritance from a deceased husband or to hand deliver gems, beware, they are operating from NJ and will request assistance to ‘release’ the funds, around $38,000.

    The second occurrence: I got suspicious when our conversation was going well, but then also coincidentally Melinda needed to go to Dubai, her mobile number was from TX, although only having lived in CA, which was within my designated distance. Both immediately after switching from the site, closed their OurTime presence. Both were reported to OurTime with no response. If she looks delightful, or too good to be true, she is. Beware.

    Have been a member for 4 months. One of their claims is they will email you recommendations on a daily basis of possible dates/ members that match your preferences. Yes, you get emails with member profiles, but they are from all over the country. I live in Pennsylvania, get possible matches for members that live in Arizona, Michigan, Florida etc. They say that if you bend your preferences, these people could be a match. Are the OurTime execs going to lend me their corporate jet, so I can go out to dinner with them. Have talked to other members on the site, they say this is big problem. One member said she dropped off the site due to this. This site is an acquisition by Match, that owns it, but is really poorly managed.

Now Ourtime has to approve all pictures and what you write. Everything was approved and I had started talking to people. Now tell me how can I be banned? There is no customer service number to call. When you email them they send you a message back with your year of birth. I finally after multiple emailing attempts got someone to answer only to tell me I had to fill out a complete form of why I had been banned. I have no idea why I was banned. I ask for a refund but I'm sure this will never happen.

    I didn’t realize that once I paid… I’d have to pay even more because if I send a message to somebody who isn’t a member, they can’t reply back unless I pay another fee. Also, why are people hundreds of miles away seeing my profile? I’m not interested in finding a guy who lives a two hour drive away! Also, since I live in a big city, it would be helpful to break that city into smaller sections.

    I just signed up for OurTime about 2 weeks ago. Went ahead and paid for a 6 month subscription to the site. After entering my profile I received numerous likes. I went through them and like many back. I send message saying hello to start the conversation and although they "like" me they are not messaging me. After a few days I realized it was because none of them are paying members. I wrote to customer service and although they did respond they did not help me at all. I was told I could not cancel my subscription and get refunded that I could only cancel so it doesn't renew in 6 months.

    I am continuing to get sent men outside my parameters and after I x them out they get sent again. So now I am paying for 6 months, risk being billed again even after clicking online to not renew, get bombard with men that can't message you because they are not paying members and keep getting sent men who I already said I am not interested in. I have been on several of the free sites and never had this much trouble AND I paid for this! DON'T DO IT - JUST GO FOR THE FREE ONES!!

    Tried to set up an account, was charged but could never log in. Took 5 emails and threats to report them as being fraudulent before they finally refunded my money. Since then, I've tried to unsubscribe at least 6 times but they keep sending me emails with dreadful photos of what look like either homeless men or prisoners. Biggest losers I've ever seen on a dating app. If sending these emails is meant to entice me to sign up, they must be desperate. They are also in violation of Canada's Anti-Spam Law for continually sending me emails after I've tried to unsubscribe several times.

    So if I could, I would give them zero stars. Before I paid for my premium membership I was getting a crazy amount of likes and messages. Like every day. As soon as I paid for my membership, they all disappeared. That was the first red flag. But the most distressing thing that happened was that I uploaded a file in photo form (JPEG) of a very sentimental poem, with absolutely zero profanity or any type of innuendo in it whatsoever. The photo was flagged and removed. I appealed it immediately to find out why. And two days they sent me a response that they had reviewed my appeal and stood by their decision. This upset me further, and I asked for specifics to which they replied. We’ve already responded. We will not respond again. Total scam. Now I understand why these dating apps are going bankrupt. And I wish that these guys would too. I hope they get what they deserve. Their customer service is extremely poor.

    The website is very outdated, and there is almost nothing available unless you are a paid member. When you are a paid member the profiles you can see may be anywhere in the U.S. and nowhere near where you live. All profile pictures are very small and there is no way to zoom in on them.     This App is owned by The Match Group which owns at least 6 others. I’ve tried the free versions of all and realize that they’re all the same. Very restrictive as what you can do without paying. They will send you fake views and likes to get you to bite. Once you give them your cc # it turns into a ghost town and all you’ll hear is crickets chirping. See for yourself.     Another joke provided to we fools thanks to the Match corporation. Populated with fakes, phonies, and flakes. If you receive a "LIKE" it will likely originate from a non-subscriber (meaning you need to pay more to receive a return message if you send one). The person sending the "LIKE" will probably be beyond your preferences especially for age (why aren't preferences displayed the way they were years ago?), location, habits. I sent more than a dozen messages to "women" who were within my age range, distance, and desired attractiveness, none of them replied. Some disappeared immediately after reaching out. I don't blame my experiences on bad behavior alone, I blame it on the service being poorly operated.

    If I could give them zero stars, I would. I decided to do a free trial of OurTime and a couple days in subscribed. When I downloaded the app and attempted to enter my password, I had remembered it incorrectly. So, I submitted a password reset and was promptly blocked (the very same day I subscribed). After contacting customer care, I filled out the form they required (twice) and four days later was told I had “violated the terms & conditions” but was not told how/what I violated. I corresponded with one person only during the free trial. We exchanged four messages.

    Prior to my attempt to use OurTime I had briefly been a member of Silver Singles where the same customer care team suspended my account after a few days. Again, no valid information as to why. At that time, they messaged ALL of the people who had sent me “likes” telling them I was a scammer. I followed their instructions to clear my name of the allegation, then cancelled my subscription and received full refund with a letter from them apologizing. Outside of having cancelled the Silver Singles account, there is no other reason this company would have to ban me the same day I subscribed. I’m out $87. The company refuses to respond and my only other option is to follow their arbitration protocol, which I’m just stubborn enough to do.

I cancelled after the first trial week of $14.99 and was charged $19.99 a week for every week that they continued charging me without me being aware after cancelling.     I was deleted from Ourtime for violating one of their rules. I sent emails to customer service to know specifically what I violated. I received vague replies to review their policies. I reviewed them and, for the life of me, I could not find a policy that I violated. Again I reached out to customer service, but they gave the message that the issue was dropped. During the time I was using the site I was matched with men that were beyond my limits and I was very frustrated. I ended up using Facebook Dating which, as it turned out, matched me with men within my limits. And it's FREE!!

    I joined the site at a friend’s recommendation. I actually saw a couple ladies I know or have known from work or others. What really ticked me off was when I received a Like and though the age and criteria matched my search area, I had never seen this person. I clicked on the link to review the profile, it came back as Profile Doesn’t Exist. I emailed customer service for clarification, but a week later no reply. I got 2 more Likes and when I clicked them I got ads to upgrade to a higher level. I ran a search on my area, even expanded the range and ages. Neither of the women appeared, making me believe they are fakes to push ads for OurTime.com. I have deleted my profile. I advise serious searchers to try other sites or means.

    I would have originally given this dating site for people 50+ a 2 out of 5 just to give them the benefit of the doubt, but after the experience I've had with them in the past several days, I'd say a solid 1. Why? Their selection is limited so they keep sending a lot of the same recommendations, and then they suggest people out of the age range I'd specified and well out of the distance I'd said was a dealbreaker. Also, even with a basic paid subscription, there's a limit to what you can do; when you get a list of highlighted members, you have to buy super likes in order to like them.

    What really turned me off this site, however, was when they blocked me for no reason I could think of. I contacted customer service to find out why and the first agent took 2 days to get back to me. He or she then said that my issue had to be referred to a different department; after 1 more day, the second agent said that my account had been terminated and would be again if I tried to sign up but gave no explanation, instead referring me to their code of conduct.

    I wrote back saying that I truly had no idea why my account had been closed, but said that I'd received 3 strange texts in the same time period from an unknown person in the US who knew my name; I suspected that my account, as well as my cellphone number, had been hacked. I asked to know the reason for my account being closed, but heard nothing. Giving it one last try, I sent a copy of my profile essay and some of my profile photos (I no longer have copies of some of them) and asked to be told why my subscription had been ended over a month prematurely. I still haven't heard back and don't expect to.

    Ourtime seems to have copied Match's website. They are almost identical. What's annoying: The Discover link gives you results from people hundreds of miles away which are basically useless. There is advertising on the site you just paid to be a member. There are very few local results in my local. After joining, I had a ton of unsolicited emails on a new email address. Did they sell my information?

    If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I had nothing but problems from the beginning. For one, the advertising banner took up almost half of the right hand side of the page, and I could only see half of the person's profile on the left hand side. I actually paid for the site, so I'm not a free user. Also there was another banner on the top that constantly flashed and took up more space. When you click on a profile and click on the extra pictures, they are only an inch tall and can't be expanded. I couldn't go in and change my preferences for distance or anything. In my opinion this site is a total ripoff and only made to take your money. It's definitely not user friendly.

    I received an email saying I'd signed up for an account. Any decent platform should require a confirmation email with a code or a link to confirm the person signing up actually controls the email address that's being submitted. I searched and there are lots of people complaining about having this happen to them. I've seen some people stressed out wondering if they've been hacked, wondering if the site is malicious, etc. And there's not a one-click way to remove yourself. I tried and OurTime said: "But first, check your inbox. We have sent you a confirmation email. Please follow the instructions to remove your email from Match." However, I'm still waiting to get that email. It's telling that you don't need to respond to a confirmation email to join OurTime.com, but you do need to do so to remove yourself from OurTime.com.

    Updated on 07/08/2025: In 2024 I tried to get back into my account and they told me I was a bot. Consumer Affairs realized I was not a bot, after all have many bots have a name and address attached to their phone number. Consumer Affairs was great and helped me get back in. However I wasn't allowed back in until I threatened to sue. In 2025 they gave me a free 3 month subscription at the end of the subscription I paid only to be locked out again. They told me I violated their terms. I told them they had no right to keep me out since I did not violate anything.

    They started sending messages with mixed messages that I could come back to I violated their terms. I asked them not to contact me anymore but 3 more times they contacted me saying I was banned. I told them I had to get back into my account to report someone. They sent me information saying I could report him by clicking on his name but If I couldn't get in how would that help. In my mind that means they do not care about their customers and seem to receive some type of fun out of playing with people. Run.

    Original Review: I would give this service a negative 00. Every time I use them they continue to bill me as I recollect even when I turn off automatic billing. Time lapsed and I was lonely so I decided to try again. My credit cards that always work would not go through. I called the co and they were protecting me from future fraud. I told OurTime.com through email because you cannot call if they look into the situation they will see that that alone was the problem. They started sending me back random pieces of my profile although my profile would not open. Days went by at least 4 or 5 when they said I violated terms I use. I even had on there my correct age which was not easy to do. I think one rule was to only have 1 profile and they have a reputation of not erasing them when you get off so in looking for an excuse to get rid of me they used their own fraudulent policies against me. In my opinion this company stands for FRAUD.

    I took the time and made the effort to put in current photos and preferences, as well as "deal breakers" as the site terms them (e.g. distance, smoker/non-smoker, ** use, education level) and answered the questions presented. Regardless of my preferences, matches were made with people who lived states away, or were smokers, or had only graduated from high school. Absolute waste of time and money.     Purchased a 3 month subscription ~1 month ago. Interesting to learn from one female member that she was able to purchase a much shorter subscription at a much lower price than offered to me. Still waiting for a response from customer service regarding this claim. Many (most?) of the profiles that have "Liked" my profile are fake. Many have photos of females who are unquestionably younger than the stated member age. Little (if any) member info provided. Fake profiles typically appear in the late night or early morning hours only to disappear entirely later in the day. Additionally, many profiles of confirmed members appear to be expired. I question the true number of paid members.

    Customer service is unsatisfactory. No phone number provided or chat capability offered. Questions and concerns can only be communicated by e-Mail. None of several that I have sent have received response. Online dating is difficult and not my preferred method of meeting women. It is only made worse with high paid subscriptions, unverified and/or obsolete profiles, and poor customer service. I will not be extending my subscription. Recommend that you read the reviews before wasting your money.

    I was a member of Ourtime back in 2020. I was only on there for a few months when I met a gentleman and came off the site. In 2024 I tried to rejoin ourtime in hopes of finding a new relationship. I was unable to, log into my existing account and even tried setting up a new account. The support team at ourtime to get some help and the only response I got back was that my account had been terminated and if I tried to set up a new account, it would immediately be terminated. When I inquired about why I have been terminated no response was given. I know for a fact that in 2020 I did not do anything to go against the terms of agreement. I would not suggest this dating site to anybody.

    After you sign up for a yearly subscription, you get bombarded with additional costs like pay to respond and pay to see a message. They want to charge if you want to place more than 3 photos. They want to charge you for Boost service. They want to charge you for just about anything you can think of. After you set a mileage range (I did for 30 from my zip code), I was sent photos from as far away as 1,000 miles. Then after you realize you are being charged for every single minor item and want to cancel your remaining cost for subscriptions, you cannot. READ THE FINE PRINT as there are some items buried deep within. I am surprised no one has started a class action lawsuit against OurTime. If you are an attorney reading this review and have realized you are being hit up for additional charges that was not obvious up front, please start a class action lawsuit.

    It says at the very top of my profile, man looking for a woman within 30 miles of Lakeland Florida. They haven't sent me a "match" within eighty miles since I joined. It also says 77 to 88 years old, so I get "matches" that are not even of retirement age. Additionally, one woman who actually responded to my messages wants to borrow five or six thousand dollars from me. But of course she is not a scammer.     I purchased a 3 month subscription on 9/11/2024. I had issues with the verification process on the app. It asks for your phone to verify it's you. It NEVER accepted my phone number. So I couldn't access my account. I contacted OurTime.com customer service multiple times EVERY day for a week. I gave them all the info they requested & tried everything they suggested. Nothing worked. They stopped addressing my emails requesting more help. I have since deactivated my account & canceled my subscription. They will not refund my money. My advice to everyone is to move on to a different dating site. Do not waste your time or money on the OurTime dating site.

    Stay away from this site as far as you can. The customer service is a joke, never responding to your complaint. They just send another prefabricated text, asking the same question over and over again. Telling they escalate the case to a higher level. I read this at least 4 times. Nothing done. For days, they couldn't find my account at all after I was locked out of my account, even I've send them 3 times their own subscription confirmation email. Then they came up, they can't find the login information for my new account. I told them I had only 1 account, I used and paid for.

    Someone hacked my account, removed all my information and put 2 pictures of him up. I'm female. After I could log in again, after more than a week I uploaded my 4 pictures again. After they approved 2 pictures, they blocked the account again. When I complaint they sent my a link to their Privacy Policy. Of course my response is still unanswered after 2 days. It's absolute scary when someone hacks your account and the company doesn't care about. BTW I had 8 contacts within 4 weeks and all were fake.

    I have a checklist now how to find out step by step if they are fake. One send me a picture of a faked driver's license to prove his ID. Another told me his company name and send me a website link, where he is partner. Calling the owner of the company, he never heard his name and has no partner in his company. His company name didn't exist in the State Records. They never send you a selfie when you are on the phone or texting with them. Because it doesn't match the stolen picture from the internet. As OurTime don't respond I don't know what's happen with my account and which criminal is using it. For several days I receive from OurTime.com .... @gmail.com different names on the accounts a payment confirmation for $576.00. I have forwarded it to OurTime with no response.

    Our Time is a fairly priced Site. The Layout is easy to understand. Realistically speaking, SAVE YOUR MONEY: I’ve been actively watching; There is a VERY NOTICEABLE INCREASE IN FAKE PROFILES. What’s frustrating about this, VERY RARELY does Our Time catch these FAKE PROFILES! This problem has resulted in lower Membership Numbers. At one time, this was a reasonably good Site. I’ve been on Our Time for quite some time and have seen a STEADY DECLINE. Of Note: When you select what Ideal Distance you prefer, Our Time minimally displays Profiles that simply are NOT within the Ideal Distance the User opts for. Realistically & Truthfully Speaking: Shop around, this isn’t a good option for anyone honestly looking to find their ideal match.
