My profile was hacked by someone from "Caracas, Venezuela", as I was informed by Our Time. As a result my profile was taken down and I was blocked from seeing anything. I was told to file an "Appeal" to my "Ban" from the site. Even though I did nothing wrong, I filed an appeal and was told I could create a new profile, but had to use a new email address. I did that but still couldn't create a new profile since the system wouldn't accept my cell phone number. I have submitted two "appeals" to the ban, been told someone would get back in touch with me in 24-48 hours. Still nothing. Never got to speak with a live person, and have had numerous emails, always from someone different, to no avail. I'm done with this site! Done with online dating - too many scammers and fake profiles.

Strange situation... I set up my profile and got experience on the OurTime.com site, was able to Search and see who Viewed me (blurred until I "joined"). Then I paid for my Membership to get access to the Who Viewed Me, etc. Once I paid, I could NOT see who Viewed me and could No Longer Search at all (I could see who Liked me though)... Site would just say Something Went Wrong... After weeks of sending Customer Service details they requested about the issue, their last request was for me to log on to Match.com and a few other things... I am not a Member of Match.com and responded that to them... Also I said Again, I am not on the App, I am on a Desktop, linked directly to the OurTime site. From May 8th to the 23rd patiently trying, I finally said that if OurTime could not give me the basics I paid for, to cancel and give a refund.

Way too many scammers, low life Catfishers on this site. No monitoring. Sad that so many people want to separate you from your money. After a while you can tell pretty fast tho. If they have more than 2 pictures and don't look like the same person it's a scammer. If they don't reveal much info, probably a scammer.

In my profile I stated that I was interested in meeting someone who lived in a 50 mile radius of me. Their recommendations typically included people who lived thousands of miles away. Most of the people that I liked never replied to me or even acknowledged me. I get the impression that many of their users are subscribed to the free service that allows them to view member profiles, but does not allow them to reply.

All I get are men from out of state. I don’t get many local men. Then the scammers. Oh my God! I have been bombarded!,,, They all start the same way. "You are so beautiful. My subscription is almost up. Can I have your email address?"

This site is a scam. I was hacked...People with other names sending messages on my profile. When I notified customer service by email, they banned me and didn't notify me. After several emails requesting help as I was unable to log in, I eventually got a notice I was banned to suspicious activity and I needed to appeal. I paid for 6 months, can't sign up for a new account and use the remainder of my time. I am told no refunds on cancelled account even though I didn't cancel...I was banned. I will fight this just to save other people from going through the same thing. I noticed on your Consumer Affairs reviews they have 4 5*, 8 4*, 3 2*, 58 2* and 769 1*. The 1*s are all similar to my problems. They need to be shut down!

OurTime has frozen my access to use it! It has an unsecure site.

I thought I was going to be charged one month, but they charged a full year which I couldn't afford. When I requested a refund, they ignored me so I filed a dispute with my bank. Then, they removed my access to my account, and when I asked AGAIN for a refund, they said they would but never did. I'm on a fixed income and $89.95 is a lot of money to me. I wouldn't recommend them, they are underhanded and sneaky.

Terrible experience! Difficulty logging in and creating account. Profile is incomplete and was then blocked, but cannot find out why. After several attempts at obtaining info and getting AI responses, I asked for my account to be deleted. No response. "Customer service" is non existent.

I feel this site baits you in so they can gather people's information and sell it out for marketing purposes. While I agree, paid for services have value but OurTime isn't willing to prove theirs. You are required to buy a package of likes, super likes, matches, comments.... whatever. Much like buying tickets at the fair so you can get on the rides. There is nothing to confirm if someone is real or a fake profile. (In fact, all the images are blurred out of the people interested in you.....who does that?)

Awful experience with this company. I set up my account, carefully read the guidelines and standards. I followed all the standards and guidelines but was banned after 2 weeks. I appealed, and the response was the generic "I violated the rules or community standards." I responded back requesting an explanation as I did not understand the reason I was banned. The response again was "I violated the rules or standards" with a statement they would not respond to any further inquiries. I read the rules and standards again carefully and could not determine where I violated anything. Of course, since they banned me (for still unknown reasons), I forfeited the balance of my $99 subscription. Not to mention a couple of people I was really interested in meeting are no longer reachable. Not a company I would recommend.

TERRIBLE customer service. I set up my account and followed all the rules and they immediately banned my account. I appealed to ask why it was banned and they sent me their generic rules - I read them carefully and had done NOTHING to violate anything. When I asked again they just said "our decision in final" with no explanation. I only posted face pictures, put nothing wrong in my profile description, etc. and they won't give me any explanation. Absolutely ridiculous.

This is the absolute worst dating site in the entire universe. Do not sign up for this. They bot robot people to lure you in.

These scamming bastards have to be stopped. I signed up for four $15 charges. After that, they started billing me $30 a month. In fact, they charged me twice in March. Not only that, but I told them in my preferences that I only wanted to meet women of my faith. They do not care about your preferences. They kept referring other types of women. They are disgusting and they must be stopped!

Well, I have met someone that have has become friends with me. My experience with OurTime has been very bad in the last six months and they are only sending me people who are 20 to 40 years younger than me and I get messages on my email that someone is interested in me and then I cannot click on them and they will not respond to any of my emails. I would not recommend this dating service.

What a horrible site. Constant ads to upsell and boost responses. Save your money and join a club, travel or sit in a bar and meet people.

My profile was hacked!! Someone was sending likes and communicating with other members through my profile!! The person gave a different name than mine and a different occupation than the one I had put in my profile! It made me doubt whether you can even trust the communications you get from other members because they could be coming from a hacker. When I notified the company I got a generic email from Customer Service and they were completely unsympathetic.

OurTime dating changed me password and will not let me reset or sign in. They are using my profile without my consent any more.

Avoid! First time using a dating app. Soooo many scammers from foreign countries creating fake accounts. I paid for 3 months but canceled halfway through. If I use a dating app again, will only use one that verifies profiles. Don't waste your time with fake profiles and AI generated conversations.

Cannot even log in, they cannot for some reason verify my phone number, how do I cancel?

Customer care is the poorest quality I have experienced. They do not fix the problems with their own software. Twice they blocked me from using the site for no true reason. While test driving with free membership the app would not verify my phone, causing them to block use. They took 1.5 weeks to fix this but required extreme patience of constantly asking for them to fix. I then became a platinum member only to get blocked again after editing my profile. I truly did nothing wrong on my side. I am tried many dating apps. This is by far the worst.

Paid for 6 months and after 2 months they blocked my account and said they couldn’t find the email address associated with my account. Funny they sent me a email to that same address 2 days before.

Please don't get drawn in to the subscription model on dating sites. They are basically a scam. I am a retired web developer and know exactly how these systems are built. I opened a nonsubscription account on Ourtime.com and got my first pointer from the likes page. I left four likes for women in my area and then left it for three days and went back to look. What I found was that I had received five likes but when I checked on the likes that I had left it was thirty nine! looking through them 80% turned out to be for profiles that I had not even viewed. These are auto generated views to draw people in to the subscription memberships. My advice is to meet people just as we used to. I am now in my 60s so used to date in the late 70s onwards by meeting girls in cafés, pubs even while shopping. There was no internet, or smart phones and yet we met people. What I am saying is that we all need to get out more and not hand our money to parasites.

This dating service is a fake. When paid for in full if you send messages to AI people otherwise fake made up people with no response back. If you like and message the fake person you. That person then don't send reply or just no longer available. I have used service for 2 months with likes that don't message you back because they are not getting messages. Don't pay for this service. Bad deal.

Signed up. Instantly triple charged me 25x3=75$. Supposed to be $25. My triple payment was credited to a mystery acct. My profile still hidden. Rather pricey. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE (phone is a recording). Not surprisingly, OurTime.com is known for not returning mistaken charges. It's a criminal company-you signed your rights to sue in terms of class action, in the terms.

What a waste of money and time! It is a money grab. I paid for the subscription under the very top and can’t see who liked me or see search results for potentials. I have a great profile but it feels you have to pay for a BOOST to get your profile out. The matches they send are random and don’t align at all to preferences. If you like a decent profile, it tries to get you to upgrade to send a message when your subscription already includes ending messages. It’s crazy and random. A rip off! It is beyond awful.

I have been a subscriber of both Match.com and Ourtime.com. I think they are the same company. Almost all of the women that contacted or Liked me, were scams. Usually they will only post one picture and as soon as you try and make contact with them. They will ask you to use WhatsApp. Messaging service. That's because it is not traceable. Just learned this from one of my Tech smart friends. The subscription was not worth all the effort. Both sites do not have a customer service phone number and when they respond to your email. It is usually a computer generated email. Good Luck!!!!

I was banned as soon as I signed up. I requested 4 times to provide me with details as to why I was banned with no answer. I see other people say they were banned as well so I am thinking that this is some sort of scam. I asked for proof that they had removed my personal information and they won't respond. So I think they are just collecting information from you. Personal Information and credit card details.

I sign up for Our Time. Within a couple days, I was communicating with someone. He sent me his phone number because his subscription was ending. Another person sent me a message and when I tried to respond I received a message that my account had been banned. After a bunch of emails with Our Time they said I’ve violated policy by sharing non-public information. The only thing I can think of is that phone number that was provided to me. Of course, no refund I sense. I’ve tried to join a Match.com but it appears the two are the same company. I found this out when I completed my profile and went to enter my payment information for Match.com. I immediately got a message saying that my account had been banned. So I emailed them and said I wasn’t even assigned up user. Their response was that their answer was final and they weren’t gonna discuss it and they will no longer reply to emails.

Couldn’t log in. Sent multiple requests for support. They said I violated the terms but I wasn’t. Never able to log on. They refused a refund and refused to respond. It was a horrible experience. 130.00 scam.

I can agree with many of the negative reviews people have written. I have been on the site about two weeks and most of the recommendations they make do not fit the profile of what I am looking for. The locations are all over the country and the age and other criteria don't fit. Many of the recommendations have a profile that is unavailable. You cannot know if a message you think you sent has been received or read. Some interesting profiles do not provide a way to message them. I give it a 2 rather than a 1 because I have not had any scam activity and I have had a fun messaging conversation with a person just slightly outside my desired area.

They try to up sell you on the every swipe even when you have a paid service. Most ridiculous dating app I have seen. Also the server or hardware they’re using is so slow it takes several minutes to see the notification they just sent me.

Site sucks, there is nobody local. I have to drive 2 hours to meet anyone, it should be illegal!!! I never will drive 2 hours to meet anyone anytime. Repeat, this site sucks.

I was on this site for two days, and they banned me with no explanation at all. Luckily, they gave me my money back, but they didn't even tell me why. I feel most of the guys I was talking to were ok with me, but a couple who seemed ok when we talked, but maybe they were just playing me. I would have given a higher review if they had explained where I went wrong. I am a single woman in my 60's just wanting to find a friend. Anyway, their loss.

After joining, my inbox was filled with likes and messages. I got messages from men/boys in their 30s (I'm 72), a guy who posted he was 66 and whose picture reflected a smoking hot guy in his mid 30s (if he was 66, I want to know what kind of moisturizer he uses! lol), not to mention receiving emails from males of every race, creed and color, despite the fact that I specified my preference. After weeding through them, I carefully selected just two gentlemen with whom I felt a connection. We intensely e-mailed and built on that connection.

I have had one dating experience from the app and enjoyed my time. It did not work out. The app makes a circle of your distance say 50 miles which for me crosses one of the Great Lakes into Canada. Approximately half of the profiles come from Canada but the drive time is not an hour but 4 to 5 hours due to driving around the lake. I do not put likes for profiles located in Canada. I get profiles much older or outside of my desired shape. The expectation from many profiles is a high income earner. I've downsized and had the economic downturn of 2008 and my retirement is not what I expected. I worked as a professional for years but that is not acceptable. It is hard to get a meet-up or a date once economics are mentioned.

Awful service. Did the trial offer now I'm being charged for 70 dollars just to talk to someone to cancel the 30 charge. I hate this site. I found someone on my own now I'm trying to hustle cancel this.

I signed up for OurTime selecting what was advertised as $20/month for a 6-month membership. However, I was charged the full amount (approximately $130) upfront. Although that was frustrating, I initially chose to let it go. Within less than 24 hours of joining, I was suddenly locked out of my profile with no explanation provided. I did not receive a reason for the block, nor any warning.

I was a member of OurTime. After two weeks I couldn’t sign into account. Notified OurTime with problem because I knew my password. Didn’t even get notification of being banned until I reached telling them I couldn’t sign into account. They finally responded asking me to appeal being banned, still no notification as to why I was banned, communication goes a long way. There is none with them. Can't even talk to a live person. From all I’ve read they won’t explain reasons for ban nor work with you trying to defend whatever they said I did wrong. It appears they just want your money, and uses fake people to like you or view you.

This has been a nightmare. I had many scammers asking for money etc. I was all of a sudden blocked for no reason. I was paid in full for months. I contacted the customer service via email daily for three weeks, but never received a response nor a refund. There is no way to contact them except for email.

When I signed up it had 3 months and decent price. But I could not sign up on 3 months as it would not let me so I tried 6 months. I realized right away the site was useless and found how to ensure my credit card would not be charged again. Not even 3 months later they put across screen while blocking people who messaged me Reactivate. I tried to find and verify date I started and saw it would expire in May yet early Feb not even 3 months they blocked me. I hit Reactive thinking I still had over 3 months left on what I paid for and they charged my credit card. These people are big scammers and just want money. Never again will I join a dating site. I am trying to dispute with them now but I see I must go to my bank.

eHarmony or match or JDate or a lot of others, would have a chat available a phone number available and an email that would get right back to you after 30 years they're saying my phone number is not good. The state of New York of the state of Florida accept my picture from my badge which is way more important but they're saying my profile picture isn't good after they took all my money and they won't get back to me and then they're sending me over 800 mi away to Alabama which is a state I would never go into. I don't even want to walk by somebody that's married to their uncle or their brother or sister. This site is complete bogus garbage. Look on Trust pilot, look here and look everywhere, they have the worst rating I've ever seen. I want my money back

I was a customer for literally one day only. Paid the charge in full. The very next day, I was blocked by OurTime. I wrote numerous emails, fill out appeal forms, and this was never rectified; there was no reason given to me. This is a terrible site. I’ll be disputing the charge with my credit card company.

They show you about 10-20 great matches. You have to join to message. It’s almost like an “bait and switch”. After you join, you realize those are the ONLY matches. And I live near Chicago. I get matches that are 20 years older than me or live 200 miles away now. Waste of money!!

Terrible dating site with very strange experiences. I received around 135 likes in my first week, but only five men actually contacted me. Three of them said they had been members for about three months and were trying to cancel because the site was so bad—yet they immediately asked for my phone number so we could communicate outside the app. Another man seemed very nice, but two days after we started chatting, I was notified by OT that his account had been canceled for security reasons. The last person I spoke with didn’t have a vehicle and expected me to travel to him. I canceled my membership after two weeks. I am better off losing my money than my time.

Hi. I joined Our Time a few months ago. I get messages saying that I have matched with someone. I send them texts and I never hear back from them. I will go online to see how I can cancel my membership. I don't think the owners care if you meet anyone and just want money.

I was banned/blocked with no explanation of exactly why. Said I didn’t follow terms of service and conditions. Would not give a specific reason. I appealed and it was denied. Was informed that they would not respond to any further emails and the case was closed. This was after I resubscribed. I will dispute the charge with my credit card company.

Don't bother with this site. Just like any other dating site all they want is your money. They don't care about you, only your money. In my opinion all dating sites and apps should be barred from doing business. They say you're a match. You message them and you never hear back and if you do it's a very brief replies and just like magic they're gone so do yourself a favor and avoid all dating sites and apps because they're just plain scammers trying to get your money.

The site is full of scammers, do not waste your money, a complete waste of time and money, STAY AWAY from this site, the scammers are looking for your email, cell phone numbers. Very UNsafe, they are looking for vulnerable woman.

OurTime gets you to join using fake likes from profiles that are not members and not in your area. It is a complete scam. I'm sure there are probably some real profiles, but I haven't had a profile message me and want to meet. The ridiculous cost they charge to be a member without offering refunds is stupid to join and they are targeting 50+ year olds to screw them over. They suck, don't join. Terrible, horrible scammers run that site. I'm tired of the endless fake profiles liking me that are not close to me. Stupid waste of money.

As unfortunate as it may be to leave a single star, the start represents the few people that I was able to meet that seemed nice. However, most of the women on the site who sent "likes" were unresponsive as if they were not real and placed to keep you actively searching on the site. The Ourtime team renewed my account weeks in advance of my subscription date without my authorization, refused to acknowledge me, and banned me once I challenged them through my bank. I am still going through the dispute process. Online dating is hard enough, this company makes it worse.

Terrible customer service. No way to get a person!! Their responses to emailed questions yield a response blaming the user. I was required to solve a visual “puzzle” to verify my account before I could log in. The puzzle was incomprehensible. Don’t pay them anything. Site and service are awful!!!! The so called matches are all over the board and do not seem to have any connection to the parameters set by the customer. I get “matches” WAY outside my stated age and geographic preferences. Again—-don’t do it!! RUN!

The Ourtime mobile app for iPhone is awful! They require users to login with a puzzle verification system does not work on a mobile device forcing users to log in on a browser. Horrible user experience. Horrible tech. I regret that I ever signed up for this service.

I have, many times, tried to sign in, but site indicates it cannot use my email address and that I should use another one. I have one email address. Why should I create a second one because "OurTime", doesn't accept my valid current address?

Cannot log on for 2 months. When attempting to log in, this pops up: "Uh oh! OurTime is experiencing some technical issues at the moment! We don't want you to be lonely, so here are some puppies to keep you company while we're down! Fetch! Pet!" I have tried the solutions it offers, but nothing works. It's a problem on their end. Have contacted the company, but have had no response. They do however, continue to charge me. Have requested to cancel account.

Customer service is a joke. I upgraded, paid the fee. The charge cleared my bank and showed up on my credit card statement. No upgrade appeared on my account and all previous activity and communications disappeared. After 3 days of emailing with worthless automated replies, customer service insists via email that I have not paid for an upgrade. I resent them a copy of my bank statement and they still insist their database isn’t showing I paid. I called my bank and disputed the charge which the bank credited back. I’m done!

Nothing but a bad experience. I put in all my data hoping to find someone local. I tried the free service at first. You can see some of your matches, but at least half appear to be fake. It's not too difficult to tell which might be real. Anyways, about 30 days in, I decided to pay for a subscription by using an online credit card company called Privacy to limit my exposure to Ourtime.com. The online credit card refused to allow me, to pay with the card I purchased at the Ourtime site, suggesting they had in the past experienced too many problems. They effectively banned Ourtime. It's too bad because it could be a great option for people over 50 years old to meet others if was managed by actual real people. To me, it seems like the ONLY thing Ourtime wants is your credit card data and then you'll be taken for a ride.

I have been on the site. No issues getting on but I don't close or log off. The men are NOT what is expected. Most seem to be looking for a good time and not a relationship. The men contact you but don't follow through, just short conversations online, I don't do texting relationships in all. I will have to agree with the others. Don't bother. The men are a bunch of nothings wasting your time. Did get a good deal, so I don't feel like I was cheated too bad.

Just trying to get into my account to actually finish my profile was EXTREMELY frustrating. Got thrown on a Puzzle that was difficult to do to verify who I was. First 5 puzzles then it went to 10. And if I didn't get it on the first couple of tries the website threw me out. Session logged out. Don't think I will be using this site.

My 88 year old dad paid $169 for a year and then they banned him. He made an appeal and they responded with, "You violated the terms." But refuse to say what the violation was. Then he can’t cancel because he can’t even log in. They are thieves. They will be reported and sued.

First of all, I don't know how I got on this deadbeat site. I never sign up for any site where I've got to pay a monthly subscription fee. So, from the few times I visited the site, there was nothing but scammers and low life old men. They've been taking money from my account biweekly. I've tried numerous times to cancel, but have had nothing but trouble. It's like they want to lock you into this site. You can forget about getting a refund. DO NOT GET ON THIS SITE. It takes advantage of senior citizens, and the Better Business Bureau or whatever organization should seriously look into them.

Question, how many of the profiles are current and real. Many blurry old pictures. No guide in understanding. Some profiles have green. Some have blue stars next to them, guess it shows their frequency of use. Many profiles have no written descriptions; and have noticed my estimate 60% only have a high school education! System set that I can love or like the profile, but I cannot hold it and reconsider to review it later. I have no control over which profiles come into my feed other than I give an age range. It is a basic information. Only been on it for two days, sent out probably 40 likes and with each like I stated what are some of the qualities in the profile that I like. Within 24 hours, I had 25 people view my profile. Only one rep replied by writing. That indicated he had read my profile and wanted to meet. We met, might be potential good friend. At this point with caution people not to use.

I had problems enrolling and paying. Could have been “Operator Error”. I overpaid & they would not refund my overpayment. Sent multiple requests with multiple responses from a different individual each time. Obviously none of them read my correspondence. So possible love was lost along with my money.

Nothing but scammers on this site. Save your money because it’s awful. I agree with all the other one star reviews. I’ve had all the same experiences they mention. The worst dating site ever. Go adopt a dog.

I tried to set up my profile on this site. That was fairly easy. The problem is, I cannot use the site. After I entered my email, they started sending me suggested contacts. Whenever I try to interact with the site, it asks me to verify myself. The procedure is for me to enter my cell number and it will send me a code. The site, for some reason, will not accept my cell number. So, I cannot get verified. Contacting their customer service had had no effect. I never get any help. They mostly ask questions like who I tried to contact, when I signed up, how many pictures I uploaded, etc. These answers don't address my problem. My conclusion is that they don't really want my business.

This is the absolute worst dating site ever. So many fakes and scams it’s unbelievable. I am an IT professional and spotted the scammers immediately. I cancelled my membership within 20 minutes of joining. Don’t waste your time or money. If I could give zero stars, I would!

This ** site is a rip off, don't waste your money on ass site, I wasting money on this bad date site, a lots of fake profile, I deleted my profile, they got mad and banned me from the site, they done me a favor

If I could give zero stars, I would. I'm sure there are genuine people on here but some are just CRINGE. On top of that, they blocked my account out of the blue, with no explanation, two weeks after I paid for six months. I don't even care about losing access but I DO care that I was given no explanation!! WTF Our Time??

They try to bully you into renewing your subscription. When you don't they go ahead and charge your card anyway, as they did with me. I've put a block on my credit card, I would strongly recommend staying away from these people and go elsewhere.

They're a scam like ALL online dating sites. Customer service is absolutely awful, and unfortunately they allow "adults" to tattle on each other (aka "reporting"). So if there is something in the text of your post, they'll harass you about it, BUT they will NOT tell you specifically what the problem might be, so how can you, as a member, fix it? I think a lot of the time people just report other members because they're offended and want to make trouble for the so-called "offender". There are a lot of fake profiles, like on every other dating site, and, guys, most of the "women" on Our Time will NOT reply to msgs, which makes me suspicious they are ALL fake profiles, meanwhile the site gets rich by charging horribly high fees. Their Paypal link has never worked properly, either.

I am an honest, sincere and genuine person. I was also banned for life for no reason and I cannot find out why. I see this compliant in a number of reviews. Strange site. Scammers survive and the good and honest individuals are banned for who knows why.

I must have made a computer error of the century, as I was banned by from the website for life. They won't tell me why and only reference security and privacy concerns. Well, it's my security and my privacy but apparently that's not enough to discuss the issue with me. I highly recommend you do not get involved with these people. You are a number you are a paycheck. You are not a person.

I’m on 3 dating apps and this by far the WORST! The first 4 ‘people’ I’ve matched with were all scammers from other countries pretending to be who the profile showed. Also, they match me with people in other states and hundreds of miles away when I set my distance to 50 miles or less. I’ve already paid for 6 months — what a rip off! Do NOT use this App.

Terrible customer service. No real people answer the phone. Contacted them 22 times by the computer generated trouble shooting messages and nothing worked. Paid 119.99 for nothing. When you try to call the number that is listed, it literally says the number is no longer in service!!!?

Wonderful wonderful site. I was really only active on it for a couple months before I met the love of my whole life. We are still going strong and it’s been 2 years and neither one of us ever had a relationship that lasted that long and we’re both almost 70. lol. Of course we are from two different states so we never would have met without “Our Time“ so see they are fantastic!

I was on the site for quite some time and I met someone! I then decided to cancel my renewal because that’s how it works, correct? Two years later I try to get back on the site and they tell me I’m banned because I broke some agreement. Nothing was broken. I just decided not to renew. Customer Service has given me such a hard time, it’s almost laughable and they will not even discuss it with me. Signed up 11/11/25, paid 3 mo, blocked 11/13 by OurTime for fraud! I’m a RN, have a business in Galveston. Well known in community & never been a fraud! Took my money and would NOT tell me what I did!!

I paid for a 3-month subscription, into the first 40 days, I received an email that due to "suspicious activity," my account had been closed. I appealed their decision and received an automated response that it was denied. I lost my ability to contact the men I was corresponding with and could not go into my account to delete my pictures and/or cancel my subscription. I did not receive a response to my 15 email inquiries, nor did I receive a refund. To say that I am disappointed is an understatement. I had to rate OurTime with one star but it deserves ZERO from my experience. Ellen

This is a terrible website. The first 3 people that contacted me were impersonating someone else. I requested an investigation on the first on and nothing happy. Then the next 2 were impostors. I am requesting a refund because I paid for 6 months and requested my profile be removed.

I made an account with OurTime and several days later having never even used their service, I was banned for no apparent reason that I could determine. I appealed the ban however I was notified that it was a lifetime ban for violating their terms. No reason was given. I am unclear if my profile was taken down and feel I have lost all rights to it. I feel their unreasonable and unfair strategies are on the verge of psychological abuse as I trusted this dating site with very personal information and had hopes of making friends. I believe that it should be their responsibility to notify the reason for the ban and allow the subscriber to make a correction. I would give my experience with them zero stars if it was an option.

Everyone I connected with was a scam. This site is a scam. I’ve been a subscriber for a couple of months and the highlights, likes, “matches” are all 100s of miles from me even though my “dealbreakers” are more than 75 miles. Waste of $$$ and time!

This is a very sketchy site. Unable to speak to a live person with any customer service issues. Be careful putting your credit card information on this app. I tried a Trial and put in my CC for a promotional and within hours was banned from the site without any explanation.

Don't waste your time! I spent hours putting together my profile only for it to be blocked by them, probably because I said "no Magas". That's important to me! Why waste time? When I asked, they said I may have violated their T&Cs or their Community Guidelines, not even specifying which. I wish I saw they review rating before I wasted all that time!!! They are seriously out of touch with today's political climate and crappy customer "care". Don't waste your time.✌🏽

Fraud. Scam. Charged me for two exact accounts. I never signed up for two accounts. Could not even open the first attempt to use the site. No tech support. No way to see what the site is doing. I will report as internet crime ftc and the consumer protection bureau in washington dc. No way to speak to anyone. Even send phone number to the bank. Only a recording of how to keep account with choices Ourtime makes up. Not user friendly to block people from canceling. Targets older crowd. Makes it impossible to activate or monitor.

This site has so gone downhill. It used to be good, just don’t do it! I paid for a 6 month subscription, 2 weeks later it stated I was banned. Why? I have no idea. Customer support keeps sending me a “survey” to see how they did. They didn’t do anything! No resolution, no reason, no response. I told them to DELETE my account since I cannot even access it!! I sure wish I had read the reviews first!!! BEST PART - called my credit card company that I paid for the dating site - man who assisted me is giving me a credit for the 6 month charge! I asked why. He said they did the exact same thing to him!!!! Move on! There are better dating sites out there, trust me!!!!

I would rate zero but that is not an option. Buyers beware big time!! Terrible customer support. It doesn't exist. They hide very well any link to be able to reach out to their so called customer service. If you can find a way to contact them they take forever to reply and the replies that you do get are full of excuses as to why issues are not on their end and offer no assistance. I signed up using a credit card. When I tried to cancel I clicked on the "I can't afford at this time" button. They then offered a 3 for 1 membership discount. I tried over 10 time to take advantage of that offer, however they kept turning down my cc. I called my cc company and they show no charge attempts of any kind from OurTime. The so called customer support replied to my many emails stating that they don't offer a 3 for 1 and it is my fault from my end why the cc won't go through now, but can't explain why it did when I signed up originally.

Terrible. Customer service is the worst. I signed up last week and on the same day was not able to sign in and was told I was banned. I didn't do anything but set up an account. I didn't even communicate with anybody so there was no reason to call me banned. I told them this and they ignored me. I then ask them to cancel my account because I don't need to be treated like this. They still ignore me. This site sucks. I am completely disappointed and it is not 100% free either.

Customer service is awful, can’t get things fixed quickly, no one to speak with, just useless when you need help with your account. My account has been down for days and still no response to get it fixed, just fill out. Form.

Ourtime.com blocked my access after I signed up for no particular reason. Then continued to send my profile to other members and send daily emails to me for months. I unsubscribed many times but it will not stop sending me those emails. I want to remove my profile but it doesn’t allow me to sign in again. No reason given. They maybe using my information and profile anyway they want. This is outrageous! I strongly suggest the regulatory agency to audit this business.

Awful. Lots of scammers and lots of fake profiles. But get this: I was hacked by somebody who got into my messages and sent them back out with false info. I informed OurTime.com about mine being hacked and they shut my profile down. I requested to get back into to my account and they treated me like I was the offender. They told me to appeal my ‘ban’ and I did only to be told my appeal was denied and I remained banned - even though my subscription was still active. What a waste of time and money. Cw

OurTime blocked access to my account and wouldn't tell me why. I asked them to tell me why my account was blocked and that I would remove any material that was inappropriate, even though I read the terms and community rules and didn't find any violations. They refused to respond to my request. They sent me an email telling me to file an appeal to their ban and that they would not respond to any further communications. Terrible customer service. I only signed up the day before and was about to pay for a subscription. I guess they saved me the trouble of signing up for this awful dating site.

Ourtime seems to be just a name for a company that doesn't exist. There's no Customer service office or number to speak to anyone. Credit cards don't work. It's either a scam or company that doesn't exist

Ourtime.com is nothing but a scam. Took my money then blocked my account. Tried messaging and calling them, can not get through either way. Do not use them. Messages are not deliverable and phone is nothing but a recorded message.

Don’t waste your money. I got 100+ looks/likes by same guys over and over on my profile and 3-4 messages, to which I promptly responded. Then, I would get no response back. LOTS of profiles will no pics or bios and hundreds of miles out of my area. Too many game players or scammers.

Buyer Beware! First, the customer service is awful! If you have an issue, you must communicate outside of the app via eMail. The response time is 24+ hours sometimes. There is no dedicated phone number to speak with someone. The app ignores your profile's preferences. The free app is useless. You can't communicate with matches. When you report a problem, they offer a 50% discount that does not work. Do not click on the link that they provide via eMail. Also, I believe many of the profiles are fake. Regardless, why pay for a service where you have to wait 24+ hours for a response? I reported this due to the FBI's IC3 and the FTC.

Besides, a lot of fake profiles, members lie about their age, how they currently look, and their current status. After a week, they start sending you people from other states... Which is stupid, but again, this is an algorithm already set to do that. I got a substantial match, which made me excited, but most of them were a disappointment after seeing them in person and remembering their pictures in their profile skinny, and tall; then seeing someone the opposite and older!

Terrible Experience-Beware. I paid 22.50 to join OurTime.com, but I couldn’t access my account. I called few times, but their phone just sends you to chat, which was no help at all. After canceling the site charge me 14.50 and later another 22.50 without permission. They want $ to process a fee. This site feels like scam-Poor service and dishonest service. Stay away!

Unfortunately I did not read the reviews before purchasing or should I say getting scammed out of 97 bucks on this platform. I purchased what I thought was a 3 month subscription to a 50 plus dating site on 9-16-2025 to 9-20-2025. I had not even talked to anyone or sent out any messages. I was sent a message on 9-20-2025 at 2:42 am all while I was asleep stating I was banned from the site for inappropriate language. And I was blocked, I immediately contacted Google Play to request a refund but was told my request was denied and That I would have to get it from the 3rd party which is OurTime the scammer. DO NOT. I REPEAT. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE A DIME OF YOUR MONEY!

I signed up and bought 6months on sign up, they took my money and immediately blocked me from logging in. I can use my account and I can’t cancel it. I literally never got to view it but once as I added one normal photo and was kicked out and blocked. I never got to use it at all as soon as they charged my bank account. Customer service refused to help me because I have to “appeal” the block decision. Why!!?? I’m a new member who never used their account?! This is complete fraud. I have to cancel the payment through my bank now as a fraud complaint. Customer service is useless. This whole thing is a scam to steal money. Don’t sign up, you will be immediately banned and prevented from cancelling.

Total scam website. I paid for the full service and within 2 days I was blocked. They would not tell me why. Then after I was banded, they charged my credit card again. I guess I should have looked at these reviews. I am trying to get my money back. Please beware of this site.

Fake profiles, people that are creepy. Most importantly, Our Time is advertised as over 50. There are no 50-60-year-olds on the site. I cancelled the subscription 2 weeks into it. Cancelled. I called them, no response after months. Now I have a stalky person texting me. Stay away.

This was a seriously strange experience. I had 3 men tell me that they were widows, 2 men tell me that they had lost their only daughters, 2 tell me that they were raising or partially raising their only grandchild. Then two of them had to go out of town for work. The first one went to Dubai. He needed $6,280 to get home. Just to borrow. The second one that I was going to "meet" Sunday had to go to Malaysia to deal with some materials he "needed" for his business. I didn't wait for him to "need" to borrow money to get home.

Being suspicious of online matchmaking/dating, I lurked as a free subscriber for 6 months as a non-payer. I finally decided to subscribe to see what was really behind the service. It only took about ten minutes after subscribing to conclude that I had been essentially scammed. All the messages from those who had recently informed me they "liked" me vanished. I tried to message "Susan," who had replied to me today saying that her subscription was expiring soon, but then suddenly she vanished and was no longer available after I tried to message her back. Then in an hour or so later today, OurTime locked me out.

Very unprofessional administration! They like playing passive aggressive games like not responding to messages for weeks to punish clients for calling out their incompetence. They claim my account was suspended because they are a subsidiary of Match and since my account is suspended at Match it’s also suspended at Ourtime. Here’s the best part! MY ACCOUNT ISN'T SUSPENDED AT MATCH! And they’ve been made aware of their mistake and refuse to acknowledge it! Childish adults hiding behind their computer playing passive aggressive games to hide their incompetence! SIMPLE AS THAT!

I registered and paid for my subscription. My account was blocked 2 days after joining. I submitted an appeal and was reauthorized to use the app. No explanation why I was blocked, even after asking for an explanation. I went to update my profile the next day and received another block. Had to submit another appeal. Never received a reply in spite my my follow-up emails. Customer Service uncooperative in resolving the issue. Would not recommend this app.

Don’t ever give this company any time or money. When you sign up for a membership and decide to cancel it, they will continue to charge you until that membership is complete. I can’t even find a customers service email to contact them. This company needs to be out of business.

OurTime is really poor app, very slow, not a lot of local members, and it's full of scammers who will ask you to invest in crypto. It puts your subscription to auto renew without telling you, and no customer service, can't talk to anyone, Worst experience ever on this date app.

Anytime they call you "Dear" it's a red flag right away. No American man calls a woman Dear, unless they are in a longterm relationship. It's a dead giveaway for ** scammers. Report them to the Federal Trade Commission! I am doing this today!. I signed up for 3 months on Our Time and after 3 days I asked them to stop the other 3 installment payment withdrawals from my debit card because I'm not happy at all. They refuse. So I'm reporting them. Then they offered me a 50% discount to rejoin. I said I wouldn't rejoin if they were the only dating site on the web. I went to Plenty of Fish and I'm getting a lot of messages that I can read and can reply too and I haven't paid a red cent. Plenty of Fish has gotten way better since I last used them over 12 years ago. They have a photo verification tool that helps to verify a person is who they say they are. If they refuse to get their photo verified, block them.

The worst of the worst dating sites. Save your money and more importantly your time. There’s no customer service and this site has a limited audience. I get replies from several hours away and even in different states.

I've signed up on Friday and cancelled on Saturday. Have been charged $89 for 6 months. Cancelled subscription and deleting account didn't help getting back the money. I was told that "your account isn't eligible for a refund. We can offer you 15% of of the next 6 months subscriptions". OurTime ripping of unsuspecting people of hundreds of dollars. They also use auto renewal that you can't control. It's a ripoff

Very poor app, works only sometimes. Poor customer service. No customer service number. When service is down or the app doesn't function correctly, you're just out of luck. Would not recommend it to anyone.

I recently purchased a prime subscription for the Our time dating app for 6 months for $130. When I logged on the system kept saying that I did not purchase a subscription. As a result, I could not access the website. I attempted to reach out to customer service and they do not provide a phone number for you to call just an email to voice your concerns and issues. They finally reached out to me via email and gave some technical advice that did not work. I ended up deleting the account and lost the money without even accessing the app one time. Please, if anyone is reading this, do not purchase a subscription for this dating app. It's a rip off.

AI has only made it easier for them to be even more deceptive and less 'hands on'. They are owned by Match.com as well. I believe they are affiliated with 'Plenty of Fish' also. Tried to join online, then realized there was an app. So I tried to login to app. It told me to contact customer service. They told me to fill out a ban appeal. WHAT?! I was banned before I even got started. So, I no longer want anything to do with OurTime.

There is absolutely no customer service. I have been contacting them for a week and no one gets back to me. Except when I said I wanted a refund. Where I was told because I had contact with a member no refunds allowed. I’ve been on less than a month. Maybe 2 weeks. My problem is that my profile does not update. I am a paying subscriber. Any little tweaks that I’ve made never show up. I am under the allocated 4000 words and the tweaks aren’t anything against their policy.

Beware of this fraudulent site. Residing in Indiana, I never tire of likes from potential relationships, if only I lived in ARIZONA, CALIFORNIA, & PENNSYLVANIA. I was not made aware of their auto renewal and got charged a higher amount for 6 more months. I can’t get any customer service and they don’t have a phone number or way of chatting. Now my login doesn’t work. I finally was having a nice conversation with someone and then his profile disappeared. Not happy!!

I purchased a 90 day plan with all benefits of the premium offering and for the first two weeks I was surprised until I found out I was being messaged by their AI OF BOT. It’s a real scam. A complete waste of time. I received several highjacked messages from Fling and other sites used by Match.com who dies all the hosting for Ourtime. Out of 10 connections I made 7 were BOTS. The others were likely fake accounts that were not created by users. This was obvious when people would tell you that they did not send you a like but what you received was from someone other than the person you were messaging. This system has possibly been highjacked by scammers and/or things were done by the Ourtime monitors that to keep you interested. It’s a trash dump for sure.

There should be a zero star rating. Before joining I got likes every day. After joining none. Waste of money. I would not recommend this site to anyone. They take your money and that's it. In my opinion most profiles are phony. Don't get hooked in, it's a total scam.

I joined for 6 months again. Have been a member for years. Out of the blue days ago I got notice they cancelled my profile for suspicious activity. I did nothing, zero suspicious and they give no explanation, example nothing. they have NO live person to talk to, none. How convenient. I appealed the cancellation (they did NOT give me my money back either). Within a few minutes, actually a few minutes they rejected the appeal. No way that fast. They even bothered to review the account. I got an automated note if I wanted to do a new account contact them for help? I wrote umpteen times, zero response for days.

Waste of time and money. Many of the guys are not members or live in other States. Small amount of local guys on this site. Low response rate. Definitely not worth the costly membership fee every month.

If I could post zero stars, I would. They made promises that they hadn't kept. When I bought the service, the first thing that happened was they asked me to upgrade to a more expensive venue. The lowest-priced service basically gives you nothing.

I legitimately set up an account on this site and less than 24 hours was banned with no explanation of what I did wrong. I did not try to deceive them or violate terms of service. An appeal for what I was banned for was requested, and still an explanation was not given.

Like others have stated, I created an account, was locked out and then banned. Customer service was no help at all. Very strange experience, would not recommend, they are owned by Match.com, which is not a good company either. Just don’t do it.

I started an account loaded up appropriate pictures and reluctantly provided the app with my information, address, birthday, etc. within minutes of finishing my profile I was locked out and banned. I followed the steps to get back in and customer service said I violated their policy. When I inquired what did I do they pretty much said we answered your question now leave us alone. THIS IS A SCAM. So now you have my address and my photos and my birthday. This company needs to be reported!! DON’T SIGN UP HERE!! It’s bad enough trying to find a respectable person to date now you have to worry about the companies that say they will help you.

I set up a profile on Our Time and a few months later my profile suddenly disappeared. When I inquired about this, Our Time could give me no reason except for sending me the company guidelines. I did not violate any of the guidelines. I then was told that someone I had been messaging received a message from Our Time stating that my profile had been deleted due to fraudulent behavior. This is completely unjustified and I consider it defamation of character. I tried to contact the Better Business Bureau but Our Time isn't listed as a business with them.

Customer Care for OurTime is the worst. I opened an account and created my profile. The last thing I was able to do was upload 2 photos and when I'm done I get logged off and out of nowhere I'm banned. I was only 3 minutes in the app and I'm banned. I sent an appeal to at least know the reason, the email I get back is "I violated terms and they will no longer respond to any communication." They got all my info, I get no answers, and I get a childish response basically saying "because we said so". This app to me is more fraudulent to get people's information and payment info.

If you're thinking about it, stop right now. I've tried this site before and decided to go back for more. The women who "like" you ghost you. I had several ask for money to help them come and see me. Two wanted my email address to send me things (whatever that meant). They want to get to know you by texting forever. And "matches"? Yeah, from hundreds if not thousands of miles away. And, then of course you get ghosted. Men, let's just go back to the old fashioned way and do IRL (In Real Life). You'll be fine. Don't fall for this mess (as I speak from experience).

I have had a profile on OurTime.com for at least 5 years... Sometimes paid and sometimes free. I paid for a membership on June 19 after receiving an email from a gentleman. Since then, I have been locked out of my account. The error message states they can't verify my phone number. It appears they think I am fraud and they can't verify me. I have sent their customer service everything they have asked for, including their receipt, my bank statement, and a bank code, and they are still telling me they can't verify me. This is going straight to the BBB and the attorney general's office! Ourtime.com is a fraud!

OurTime dating site is not worth the money. If you want to be matched with somebody on the of the side of the country, then go for it. Otherwise, you're not going to find anybody in your area that would even respond to your likes. They will show you others that fit your profile, but you have to pay extra to connect with them, what a scam.

I paid for three months. After three weeks my password would no longer work. Hitting the Forgot Password did not work. No one at Ourtime will help me. I think it's all a con. I sent multiple emails and just get general suggestions that do nothing in response.

I set up my OurTime account on Day 1. On Day 2 the following appeared: “Access to your account has been blocked by OurTime. Please contact customer care.” I did and I received no response. I am still blocked out. In short, don’t waste YourTime on OurTime.

I opened account. Next morning it was banned. No reason given. I had 0 interactions and all decent pictures. Literally no reason to banned it. Their customer service is trash and would not give me reason. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE. I'm having great interactions with 2 other dating apps.

Ourtime (Match) charged my credit card twice on two consecutive days for the same subscription. Then I was never able to actually download the app so I never actually received the service that they charged me for. There is no customer service to call, only email. When I emailed I was told that they do not reimburse. Therefore, I was charged twice (nearly $100.00 for a service that I never received and was not reimbursed). It is a complete scam. Do NOT give them your credit card number. They are crooks!

The worst dating site. I haven't used it for sometime (I cannot remember details) and got charged by auto renewal. I couldn't login and cannot answer 4 questions correctly due to not being able to login even I provided the ref. no of the charge from my bank. Yeah, what a gimmick, I was tried to get scammed right off the bat, I knew it, way too long between messages, some of us aren't dumb. Anyway, I have sent many legit likes I preferred, many conversation starting lines, yet not ONE ever responds, not even "I don't care for you" would be nice. The last one I hit like, sent message with it, said that person was online through the filter I set, after message was sent, said active 1 hour ago, wth kind of ** is that. Wasted time, wasted money, stay away.

I swore I would never purchase another dating app - this was 2021 with Ourtime.com! Back then there were tons of profiles before you pay your money, but after paying your money there was only a few profiles. So here we are in 2025 and I figure that Ourtime would have all their issues fixed - WRONG! I signed up again with the same result. A lot of profiles to get you sucked in but, after paying your money (which you CAN'T get a refund) there are very few profiles. In the terms and conditions Ourtime said the ONLY refund they will consider is in case of death of the account owner. Ourtime is a SCAM and is NOT WORTH your time or hard earned money!

I signed up for Our Time on June 2nd. By the next morning I could no longer login because my account was blocked. I was still tweaking my profile before being blocked. I sent them a message and was told that I need to fill out an appeal form and send back to them. I did so, and received a response that I had violated their terms and conditions. I had no idea what I had done to have received this response. So I contacted them again by filling out an appeal form and asked what it was that I had done to be blocked. They refused to answer and told me that it was their final decision and not to contact them again.
