Join site, uploaded a picture, and was immediately blocked. Customer service was absolutely horrible. These people could care less about promoting a legitimate dating and connection site. I recommend not wasting your time.

I joined OurTime dating app. 24 hours later before I even got a chance to pay I was checking out the site, etc. they blocked me. I have no clue why they approved all my pictures. The only thing I can think of is my VPN and for two days these people do not get a hold of you, answer you back, etc. A horrible customer service. Avoid it.

I canceled my subscription and was billed again. They are difficult to get rid of!!! Stay away from this site. Once they get your payment information they continue to bill you. The site is also full of scammers!!!

I asked Our Time to change my email address and when they did, I started having problems when I would log in. They fixed it and then, somehow, in process, they canceled my subscription. I have sent them all the information they asked so they could find my account. And that was 3-4 ago and I have been writing them almost every day to fix my account, but it looks like they have been ignoring me for the past 3 days. So now I am going to have to go to my bank and have them file a fraud claim against them.

This site is for desperate people who think that paying the premium finds 'quality' compare to 'trushy' free dating sites. They combine same fake, banned, and old profiles from Match.com and Ourtime (same company, same database, same site with different URLs). First they allow creating a full profile with photos. Then ask to pay premium. Once they realize you are a free rider, they banned the access but keep your photos and profile online live, thus creating the illusion of quality and volume.

When I first became a member, I was targeted for a scam. They had used this site against me. Luckily I knew what they were doing, because they were terrible at it. Some others had tried also, but I was already looking out for them. All the members that they tried to connect me with were too old for me, or lived too far away in another state. For me, it was a waste of my time and money. I had specifically said I didn't want to connect with anyone older than myself, but that is who they kept trying to match me with. Personally don't use this dating site.

SAVE YOUR MONEY. They say that membership give you the right to email people and be emailed back to. I believe they don't tell the truth. VERY FRUSTRATING website to use. I signed up for OurTime in about Nov 2024 with a 1 year subscription. I sent several email in 2024 to women I was interested in and never knew if they received the email. At least I never heard back from anyone.

My experience has been horrible: I found it very awkward to navigate the site, not at all user friendly; also, unable to find a person who appeared in an earlier scroll through a gallery or in Highlights. This isn’t a security issue; it was a continuation of a lovely conversation. Since yesterday I’ve been unable to re-open my account because of a constant message saying my phone number and email cannot be verified. Impossible to find technical support, every response is an auto response and no suggestions work. It smacks of either rip-off or incompetence.

Save your money. Just a bunch of AI-generated matches. Even though you filter to search within 100 miles, most searches appear 250-400 miles away and not even close to the age group you put. There is a lot of spam, more so than other sites.

I signed up for OurTime and was on that site for only a day and a half before they Banned me. I still do not understand why I was banned. The information they provided was rather cryptic and seemed to imply that I was married or in a relationship. I am not married and I am not in a relationship... If I were I would not be on a dating site. I supplied to them my marriage certificate, my husband's death certificate and my husband's cremation certificate to show that my relationship had ended and believing that would clear this up, but it did not. I got a repeat email saying I am still banned and they refunded only half of my $116. They say the decision is final, yet I still do not understand what I supposedly did wrong. How can a person defend oneself without understanding the charges?! I would stay far away from OurTime. It seems as though they randomly pluck people off and yet keep half their money.

This is the worst dating site. First they have a special rate to join. I joined but all you can do is look and hit the like button. Then you only get a few messages then you have to pay more to see there response. You can even see who liked you without extra money! 💰! There is no no more customer service, no human being to discuss any issues. SAVE your money…. I was on for only a few days. Awful.

I too was banned from OurTime.com. I was on for about 2 months Late December early Feb. I was texting with people, went on 1 date. One day I couldn't get into my account. I emailed and received a reply stating "I can request an appeal." I thought request an appeal for what? I replied to the email asking what happened. The email said, to stop asking they will not respond. Wow! I am cracking up, I got banned from OurTime! I did get a refund though. All I could think of is my new profile update shared, "I don't want to waste anyone's time. If you voted for the current person in office, we probably won't get along." Perhaps the owners are "conservative"?

Recently, I joined OurTime, noticing pictures are fake-AI features. OurTime hook-ups preferences are not my desire picks. I must say, once I paid my expensive yearly fee $155.00 a pop up screen asked me to apply for a monthly fee $21.00. Totally a RIP-OFF dating site. AI pictures and extremely expensive.

The worst ever. I've been in this platform for almost two months. Suddenly, they blocked me for no reason. I emailed them 4 times to ask the reason. I never heard back from them. Also they charged me again right that day they blocked me. So I couldn’t do anything. Either You can not talk to them in person or no response. Lots of scammers! THE WORSE DATING WEBSITE.

I was banned. Have no idea why. Get a canned response to read the rules. Then they state the case is closed. Will not respond to further emails. Gosh. I am a 77-year-old grandmother who hasn't even have a parking ticket. This happened 2 days after I paid. Of course, they kept my money. There is no customer service and emails are canned responses. Get emails for likes that do not show up on site. Cannot find customer service help or phone. Only general concerns listed they think is a problem. Got tired of the issue. Deleted my account after a few weeks of this troubles.

Many issues First and foremost, many scammers and I was catfished. I talked back-and-forth with someone for days we shared prayers. We shared scriptures. Then he asked for 4-500.00. I blocked him. And then I couldn’t get into the site. I tried emailing it kept telling me I needed to pay for my subscription. I already paid for three months. Customer service was no help. Absolutely was locked out so I disputed the charge. Online said how many people this happened to-getting locked out. Worst experience ever. Be careful. Do reverse look ups on pictures. Don’t send money. Why didn’t this company do their due diligence and check that their pictures are actually them???

This site does not filter for location and does not filter for likes so anyone can message you. So you’re basically deleting unwanted messages and filtering through folks from the United States when in Canada. The App has a lot of glitches and it’s very difficult to contact customer care. Not a body in sight. Feels like a scam. Beware.

I have join Our Time and pay for one week membership, I can log in to my account, sent messages, not respond back whatsoever. So disappointed no live customer to speak with, and was not able to cancel.

They claim message for free..you're only allowed one per day. They don't tell you if who you message can actually respond. I put the mileage limit of 75mi. and got 90% from over 200mi (out of state) apparently I ran out of prospects nearby. Also after a week I was notified that my content was deleted for posting my email, phone number, and or URLs...which was totally false..in the short time I was on I only had one response, I should pay that high fee for no return responses...unbelievable..

After more than 3 months I did not meet one woman and even though I have your premium service they want me to pay more to certain women in my area who do not have your premium service. Also I have been contacted by a few woman where Ourtime asks for my email and password and they say they will send a 4 number code that I never receive on my mobile phone. And ourtime has no answer for me about that. It appears to me ourtime is very expensive because everything is extra money. I have a good profile so why am I not getting any women to meet?

Very few candidates within a reasonable distance. Members usually misrepresent themselves verbally and pictorially. Customer service is completely unavailable and the price is egregiously excessive.

Lying, cheating scam. Not sure how they stay in business. Stay away from this app. The profiles are not real. You get zero customer service, it shuts down often and they make it difficult to cancel. I received a couple messages while in my free trial. When I joined those profiles did not exist. I sent out over 25 messages with no response. It is an illegal site and should be shut down. I am furious about being taken advantage of. There is very little that is real or legitimate about this site. I got a couple of messages from women 10 years older than me or 100 pounds heavier. DON'T EVEN CONSIDER THIS APP. You'll waste your money.

Not sure I would recommend this app unless you are seriously looking. As a widower, I’m not sure if I am completely ready for a committed relationship, but wouldn’t mind a companion to talk to occasionally. But I was harassed and told women that it shouldn’t even be on the app. It’s sad that these apps can’t screen people better. I was honest and upfront in my answers to the questions.

I have had unbelievable grief in dealing with OurTime. They are the most incompetent customer oriented people on the planet. Constant lies and never resolve the issues. This site is a scam. I could never recommend it to anyone when there are more reputable sites available.

I wanted to try this app after reading a favorite author met her husband on this site. After creating a profile, I attempted to log on. A message displayed stating I was blocked. Attempted several times to engage Customer Service. They referred me to an appeals site that required me to read several policies filled with legalese. Couldn't they just tell me the reason for blocking me? No, they refused and said any subsequent emails would be deleted without being read. Really?!

Paid for a six month subscription. Had issues from the very beginning. First issue is their app would not let me verify my phone number. Took a good week to resolve that issue. Finally got into the app (once). Sent one innocuous message and got banned. Appealed the ban but to no avail. Don't think they have real people in their customer service, seems like it's a chatbot or something. Trying to now dispute the credit card charge.

Total scam site, stay away. Most profiles are fake with the users never logging in, no bio information and the pictures are mostly stolen from Facebook and they sell your email to spam porn sites so you will get 50 spam porn emails every day. Criminal site probably run by organized crime family.

My experience has not been very good. I get about three scams a week at least from men who are not who they say they are or who owned the pictures that are displayed. The scammers are very good. They sound and make themselves sound like they are really in tune with you…. very compatible with each other. And once you feel comfortable and start to like them, they will ask for your email address or your phone number so they can text you or call you. And then after a few texts or emails they will say they are from Peru and when they get back to the United States we will meet.

I fully read their terms and guidelines before I joined. I stated my political preference, specifically saying that I did not wish to offend anyone, just that I hoped to date someone with the same political beliefs, and I was banned. Their terms say that you ARE allowed to state political opinions.

This is the worst site. Not a lot of stability when it comes to meeting man. Also the site is ALWAYS down for a 2 to 3 days... to be exact every other day. I have had the worse experience talking to the man. I have had to block so far 4 guys because they are not very stable mentally.

So I went on to this site thinking that it sounded legit! They took money. Kept charging me 3 months! Here’s the kicker, for the amount I was charged should have been a Platinum member. Couldn’t even get messages, what a scam, Spoke with a team member. They hung up on me. That was it. Ripped off.

Updated on 03/12/2025: Beware of this site. I paid a three-month fee on March 5, 2925, but have not been able to log on to the site since then. I cannot get past the screen that asks for my phone number. I have asked for a refund several times but they are not doing that. They keep responding to my emails with responses that have nothing to do with my request. They are simply stealing the money I paid.

02/19/2025 Ourtime.com took Another $120.65 out of my account after it was already canceled. They still haven't returned the $120.65 from 08/09/2024 that they stole from me. They now owe me $240.30 in refunds!!

It's a scam site. Everything works great until you stop spending money, then they find some excuse to ban you. Everyone beware. Oh, once banned, they keep everything you paid for. All I had time to do was place a number of likes on people and all of a sudden, I'm banned for false information.

I would not recommend Ourtime to anyone. I have been trying to cancel this subscription for about 4 or 5 months to no avail. When I tried to cancel the app/website would appear to glitch. This happened on multiple attempts for multiple months. I finally reported this to my bank in order to have this company blocked from my bank account. I then went back onto the website and was finally able to cancel and receive a confirmation number. I still had until March 2025, which is a month to access the website but then I received an email stating that I was banned. This only occurred after I contacted my bank and was finally able to cancel.

Ourtime.com allowed someone to use my email to set up a fake account. This also happened on Match.com. I do not have accounts on either platform. These companies do not take this seriously. Ourtime and Match do not have a system in place to double-check emails and identities. They provide a direct route to steal people's identities. I want nothing to do with these sites and would like to remain SAFE. They do not have my permission to use my identity, email, or any information that belongs to me.

If I could give this dating site something lower, I would. I'm a man looking for a man in my local area. I spent 120.00 for 6 months, but canceled after about 2 weeks. This site picks females, they pick straight men in my daily 9 pick, plus they pick people in CA, ID, OR, MT, SD, ND, NV, I might get some people from my state. I would never recommend this Date site. How they are listed in the top 10 for being good, I can't figure it out. Think twice before spending your hard-earned money.

A lot of the men looked unappealing to me in their photos. But the first one that I found attractive I “liked,” which led to an in-person meeting and instant chemistry and we are now seeing each other once a week. However, site is difficult to access well on my phone and they keep sending me pictures of guys older than my specified age range and my 12 mile limit

Everything was approved and I had started talking to people. Now tell me how can I be banned? There is no customer service number to call. When you email them they send you a message back with your year of birth. I finally after multiple emailing attempts got someone to answer only to tell me I had to fill out a complete form of why I had been banned. I have no idea why I was banned. I ask for a refund but I'm sure this will never happen.

Worst Customer Service ever. The entire site appears to be run by A.I. from another country. You can't talk with anyone and if you send an email they send a canned response. Been trying for a week just to get my page "approved" and posted. And forget about their program actually looking at what you are seeking. As someone else said, I'm getting a lot of 80 year old homeless looking people from out of state. I'm done with this site.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! I have not been able to access my account. I had trouble during initial setup Dec 2024. I cannot access the account at all and they refuse to delete it. I have dozens of emails. I think they may be robots or from another country. They are unable to speak. Their responses appear to be AI generated.

Beware of being liked, followed by plausible reasons to switch to e-mail or mobile texts. And particularly if they find reason not to video call. And if they are going to Dubai to collect an inheritance from a deceased husband or to hand deliver gems, beware, they are operating from NJ and will request assistance to ‘release’ the funds, around $38,000.

Have been a member for 4 months. One of their claims is they will email you recommendations on a daily basis of possible dates/ members that match your preferences. Yes, you get emails with member profiles, but they are from all over the country. I live in Pennsylvania, get possible matches for members that live in Arizona, Michigan, Florida etc. They say that if you bend your preferences, these people could be a match. Are the OurTime execs going to lend me their corporate jet, so I can go out to dinner with them. Have talked to other members on the site, they say this is big problem. One member said she dropped off the site due to this. This site is an acquisition by Match, that owns it, but is really poorly managed.

I didn’t realize that once I paid… I’d have to pay even more because if I send a message to somebody who isn’t a member, they can’t reply back unless I pay another fee. Also, why are people hundreds of miles away seeing my profile? I’m not interested in finding a guy who lives a two hour drive away! Also, since I live in a big city, it would be helpful to break that city into smaller sections.

I just signed up for OurTime about 2 weeks ago. Went ahead and paid for a 6 month subscription to the site. After entering my profile I received numerous likes. I went through them and like many back. I send message saying hello to start the conversation and although they "like" me they are not messaging me. After a few days I realized it was because none of them are paying members. I wrote to customer service and although they did respond they did not help me at all. I was told I could not cancel my subscription and get refunded that I could only cancel so it doesn't renew in 6 months.

Tried to set up an account, was charged but could never log in. Took 5 emails and threats to report them as being fraudulent before they finally refunded my money. Since then, I've tried to unsubscribe at least 6 times but they keep sending me emails with dreadful photos of what look like either homeless men or prisoners. Biggest losers I've ever seen on a dating app. If sending these emails is meant to entice me to sign up, they must be desperate. They are also in violation of Canada's Anti-Spam Law for continually sending me emails after I've tried to unsubscribe several times.

I reached out to the support team to assist me with a Credit Card issue. I received an email with a report number, but no additional response or resolution since receiving it 3 days. It makes me question if I want to join OurTime. In addition, based on the negative reviews with not receiving good matches. Sending distance folk matches and not following the person profile request.

So if I could, I would give them zero stars. Before I paid for my premium membership I was getting a crazy amount of likes and messages. Like every day. As soon as I paid for my membership, they all disappeared. That was the first red flag. But the most distressing thing that happened was that I uploaded a file in photo form (JPEG) of a very sentimental poem, with absolutely zero profanity or any type of innuendo in it whatsoever. The photo was flagged and removed. I appealed it immediately to find out why. And two days they sent me a response that they had reviewed my appeal and stood by their decision. This upset me further, and I asked for specifics to which they replied. We’ve already responded. We will not respond again. Total scam. Now I understand why these dating apps are going bankrupt. And I wish that these guys would too. I hope they get what they deserve. Their customer service is extremely poor.

The website is very outdated, and there is almost nothing available unless you are a paid member. When you are a paid member the profiles you can see may be anywhere in the U.S. and nowhere near where you live. All profile pictures are very small and there is no way to zoom in on them. Might be a better site with some updates but so far pretty overpriced and disappointing..

This App is owned by The Match Group which owns at least 6 others. I’ve tried the free versions of all and realize that they’re all the same. Very restrictive as what you can do without paying. They will send you fake views and likes to get you to bite. Once you give them your cc # it turns into a ghost town and all you’ll hear is crickets chirping. See for yourself. Read the reviews and all you’ll see is 1 star for all of them.

OurTime disabled my account without explanation and no response to any inquiries for reason or refund of recent payment. This is plain fraud in not providing any services but taking money. Phones not connected to actual person. Stock digital responses are not responsive. Contacts are left hanging in huge personal embarrassment. Do not pay money to this fraud.

They billed me twice within a week for $21.19 and told me it was for one week each payment. $21.19 is usually the cost of a month’s subscription. They ripped me off. Don’t use OurTime. Save your money.

Another joke provided to we fools thanks to the Match corporation. Populated with fakes, phonies, and flakes. If you receive a "LIKE" it will likely originate from a non-subscriber (meaning you need to pay more to receive a return message if you send one). The person sending the "LIKE" will probably be beyond your preferences especially for age (why aren't preferences displayed the way they were years ago?), location, habits. I sent more than a dozen messages to "women" who were within my age range, distance, and desired attractiveness, none of them replied. Some disappeared immediately after reaching out. I don't blame my experiences on bad behavior alone, I blame it on the service being poorly operated.

Will not accept landline and email for verification.... Scam the man again.... Back and forth emails for 4 days regarding this.... They kept "Escalating" whatever that means to people that aren't interested in helping -at all.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. I decided to do a free trial of OurTime and a couple days in subscribed. When I downloaded the app and attempted to enter my password, I had remembered it incorrectly. So, I submitted a password reset and was promptly blocked (the very same day I subscribed). After contacting customer care, I filled out the form they required (twice) and four days later was told I had “violated the terms & conditions” but was not told how/what I violated. I corresponded with one person only during the free trial. We exchanged four messages.

11/27/2024 around noon I attempted to log in to my account. I was prompted to re-set my PW. I have attempted many (dozen at least) times via the "FORGOT MY PASSWORD" action so you would email me a re-set link. I have not received that or any emails or otherwise communication from OURTIME.com. 12/02/2024 Day 5 of no access because of YOUR lack of service. PITIFUL Customer service. Refund my money! I would prefer to give ZERO stars.

If I could rate it no stars I would. So many non desirable. More have profiles but don't pay so messaging is futile. All leftovers. I'll stay single if these are my choices. Wanted money! Not a lot of diversity.

This site is awful. Sneaky practices with billing making it confusing to try to cancel membership. I cancelled after the first trial week of $14.99 and was charged $19.99 a week for every week that they continued charging me without me being aware after cancelling. They racked up $320.00 out of my bank account. Very deceptive outfit. Don’t use them unless you want to be swindled for nothing.

I subscribed for 1 month. It's true the matches are terrible as they will send you people from out of state, etc. Canceling was a nightmare. I canceled everything through the app but learned they were charging me through Google and that was not canceled. They charged me again. I finally figured out how to cancel through Google. Going through the dispute process and OurTime.com will not assist. Waiting on a response from Google.

This site is the worst site I’ve been on. The matches were either nowhere near my age and/or far away. Many in different states. Even though I had anything over 30 miles as a deal breaker. What a waste of money and canceling was a difficult process.

I was on this site for two days before being approached by a fraudulent male predator. I reported him twice to OurTime. They finally shut him down four days later. This is the WORST service ever. I disputed the charge on my credit card. This is completely unsafe and candidates are not vetted at all. Terrible, simply terrible.

I tried to sign up for this service. After going through almost all of the many steps (all of which were reasonably asking background information), I got asked for my telephone number. I typed it in. Then and only then was I told that I had to have a telephone that takes text messages. I have a landline that does not take text messages. OurTime wasted MyTime.

I have been blocked for no apparent reason. When you ask them to give you a reason they don’t get back with you. I will not and cannot recommend this site for anyone. I think that since I have paid my money upfront, I should get an immediate reason why I’ve been blocked. Each day that goes on without hearing from them is a waste of my money.

I signed up for this site out of curiosity. I did all the necessary information required. When I was asked to verify my account through a confirmation email, the site would not recognize my phone number and requested that I contact customer service. However, the website does not give me information on how to contact them. Yet I see my tiny picture on the upper right-hand corner.

I was deleted from Ourtime for violating one of their rules. I sent emails to customer service to know specifically what I violated. I received vague replies to review their policies. I reviewed them and, for the life of me, I could not find a policy that I violated. Again I reached out to customer service, but they gave the message that the issue was dropped. During the time I was using the site I was matched with men that were beyond my limits and I was very frustrated. I ended up using Facebook Dating which, as it turned out, matched me with men within my limits. And it's FREE!!

SCAM DATING APP. Their Search engine is non-existent. Clients are sent "Matches" that are not even close to our preferences. Don't waste your $$ on this. OurTime is just another SCAM targeting Seniors.

I have been on the site since August, 2024. Of the contacts that I actually communicated with, probably 7 or 8, all were scammers! In love with me immediately, or talked for a long time, and THEN, WHAMMY, they wanted something from me. And, they were slick, too!!! Anyone connected with the military...Run for your life and money. They only got a gift box of goodies out of me, but I came close to losing it all. And, only 1 match where we talked, within my 75 mile radius that I specified. BE AWARE!

I joined the site at a friend’s recommendation. I actually saw a couple ladies I know or have known from work or others. What really ticked me off was when I received a Like and though the age and criteria matched my search area, I had never seen this person. I clicked on the link to review the profile, it came back as Profile Doesn’t Exist. I emailed customer service for clarification, but a week later no reply. I got 2 more Likes and when I clicked them I got ads to upgrade to a higher level. I ran a search on my area, even expanded the range and ages. Neither of the women appeared, making me believe they are fakes to push ads for OurTime.com. I have deleted my profile. I advise serious searchers to try other sites or means.

I would have originally given this dating site for people 50+ a 2 out of 5 just to give them the benefit of the doubt, but after the experience I've had with them in the past several days, I'd say a solid 1. Why? Their selection is limited so they keep sending a lot of the same recommendations, and then they suggest people out of the age range I'd specified and well out of the distance I'd said was a dealbreaker. Also, even with a basic paid subscription, there's a limit to what you can do; when you get a list of highlighted members, you have to buy super likes in order to like them.

Ourtime seems to have copied Match's website. They are almost identical. What's annoying: The Discover link gives you results from people hundreds of miles away which are basically useless. There is advertising on the site you just paid to be a member. There are very few local results in my local. After joining, I had a ton of unsolicited emails on a new email address. Did they sell my information?

When I set up the account I used guidelines like less than 50 miles and ages 60-70. I had photos of woman 75 miles and even 100's of miles away. When I saw someone I liked The site wanted to charge me more money for a super like. Also beware they have an automatic renewal, So if you leave before your term they charge you. Total rip off. Waste of money.

Recommended people do not meet criteria. You don't know if anyone receives your messages. If you are in a rural area there are no matches. Filters are not followed. Wish I had seen these reviews sooner.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I had nothing but problems from the beginning. For one, the advertising banner took up almost half of the right hand side of the page, and I could only see half of the person's profile on the left hand side. I actually paid for the site, so I'm not a free user. Also there was another banner on the top that constantly flashed and took up more space. When you click on a profile and click on the extra pictures, they are only an inch tall and can't be expanded. I couldn't go in and change my preferences for distance or anything. In my opinion this site is a total ripoff and only made to take your money. It's definitely not user friendly.

I received an email saying I'd signed up for an account. Any decent platform should require a confirmation email with a code or a link to confirm the person signing up actually controls the email address that's being submitted. I searched and there are lots of people complaining about having this happen to them. I've seen some people stressed out wondering if they've been hacked, wondering if the site is malicious, etc. And there's not a one-click way to remove yourself. I tried and OurTime said: "But first, check your inbox. We have sent you a confirmation email. Please follow the instructions to remove your email from Match." However, I'm still waiting to get that email. It's telling that you don't need to respond to a confirmation email to join OurTime.com, but you do need to do so to remove yourself from OurTime.com.

Updated on 07/08/2025: In 2024 I tried to get back into my account and they told me I was a bot. Consumer Affairs realized I was not a bot, after all have many bots have a name and address attached to their phone number. Consumer Affairs was great and helped me get back in. However I wasn't allowed back in until I threatened to sue. In 2025 they gave me a free 3 month subscription at the end of the subscription I paid only to be locked out again. They told me I violated their terms. I told them they had no right to keep me out since I did not violate anything.

I subscribed to this dating platform and my experience has not been successful. Most of the men that contacted me were not legitimate. This site seems to have many scammers. I do not recommend Our Time.

I took the time and made the effort to put in current photos and preferences, as well as "deal breakers" as the site terms them (e.g. distance, smoker/non-smoker, ** use, education level) and answered the questions presented. Regardless of my preferences, matches were made with people who lived states away, or were smokers, or had only graduated from high school. Absolute waste of time and money. Please, don't waste your time or money on OurTime.com!

This is the worst app for people trying to meet other people that I’ve ever seen. You sign up and I don’t care if it’s for one week or six years and they will eventually get where you are not being able to talk to anyone that you Selected that you want to see most of the scammers on this site or in another country and this company does nothing to protect you from getting hacked. I was stronger recommend that you never use Our Time. Trust me it’s your own benefit.

Purchased a 3 month subscription ~1 month ago. Interesting to learn from one female member that she was able to purchase a much shorter subscription at a much lower price than offered to me. Still waiting for a response from customer service regarding this claim. Many (most?) of the profiles that have "Liked" my profile are fake. Many have photos of females who are unquestionably younger than the stated member age. Little (if any) member info provided. Fake profiles typically appear in the late night or early morning hours only to disappear entirely later in the day. Additionally, many profiles of confirmed members appear to be expired. I question the true number of paid members.

OurTime dating site should be renamed to WASTE of TIME. I have participated in on line dating before and OT these days is a joke. In fact, I highly doubt if they have any active members. I do not recommend.

I couldn't log into my account. I contacted OurTime for assistance. Went back for forth only to be told that my profile had been TERMINATED. I did NOTHING wrong. No explanation. Unacceptable. I have never been so insulted. I'm a professional who knows how to conduct myself. Match owns several dating sites. I've been banned from all of them based on their rude and insulting email. I've seen others post about this topic. I am beside myself. BBB is my next stop. Shame on them for not explaining to their customers why this happened to them.

I was a member of Ourtime back in 2020. I was only on there for a few months when I met a gentleman and came off the site. In 2024 I tried to rejoin ourtime in hopes of finding a new relationship. I was unable to, log into my existing account and even tried setting up a new account. The support team at ourtime to get some help and the only response I got back was that my account had been terminated and if I tried to set up a new account, it would immediately be terminated. When I inquired about why I have been terminated no response was given. I know for a fact that in 2020 I did not do anything to go against the terms of agreement. I would not suggest this dating site to anybody.

Expensive, misleading in services that provides. Found filters seldomed worked, after paying high-end subscription found still getting asked for more money. Esp irritating was to be presented w/ possible match, take the time to write a short note, hit send only to get a pop-up ad suggesting I pay more money so "free" members could read my note. Really?! didn't want to tell me that before I took the time to write my note, etc. Also found very hard to turn off my profile.

Absolute con, I signed up and paid the quoted rate only to find I cannot even contact anyone without paying for every single message, same goes to sending “likes”. Don’t waste your money, can’t say enough about this crappy site.

After you sign up for a yearly subscription, you get bombarded with additional costs like pay to respond and pay to see a message. They want to charge if you want to place more than 3 photos. They want to charge you for Boost service. They want to charge you for just about anything you can think of. After you set a mileage range (I did for 30 from my zip code), I was sent photos from as far away as 1,000 miles. Then after you realize you are being charged for every single minor item and want to cancel your remaining cost for subscriptions, you cannot. READ THE FINE PRINT as there are some items buried deep within. I am surprised no one has started a class action lawsuit against OurTime. If you are an attorney reading this review and have realized you are being hit up for additional charges that was not obvious up front, please start a class action lawsuit.

It says at the very top of my profile, man looking for a woman within 30 miles of Lakeland Florida. They haven't sent me a "match" within eighty miles since I joined. It also says 77 to 88 years old, so I get "matches" that are not even of retirement age. Additionally, one woman who actually responded to my messages wants to borrow five or six thousand dollars from me. But of course she is not a scammer. I am going to find another site and simply forget that I wasted eighty dollars or so on Ourtime.

I purchased a 3 month subscription on 9/11/2024. I had issues with the verification process on the app. It asks for your phone to verify it's you. It NEVER accepted my phone number. So I couldn't access my account. I contacted OurTime.com customer service multiple times EVERY day for a week. I gave them all the info they requested & tried everything they suggested. Nothing worked. They stopped addressing my emails requesting more help. I have since deactivated my account & canceled my subscription. They will not refund my money. My advice to everyone is to move on to a different dating site. Do not waste your time or money on the OurTime dating site.

I echo what other reviewers have said - I receive interest from people literally hundreds of miles away, regardless of the search parameters. I have messages that I cannot see even though I have a functioning paid subscription. The support folks are next to worthless when it comes to solving any problems. They simply revisit the same questions without providing any solutions. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

I've been on the site for one (1) week and I am exhausted deleting the undesirables. It seems that the preference parameters set mean absolutely nothing! The site is also not user friendly. I totally regret ever signing up!!! I canceled and have received an email confirmation; however, am stuck until the membership expires in March 2025!!!!

I signed up for a membership and my credit card was charged. I have not been able to use the app. The app won't allow me to log in and I am not able to verify my phone number. My requests to their customer service department are going in circles. I am asked for information about my account. I provide the information. I am told my issue has been resolved but I have not been able to log in. I entered my first request on Aug 20th. Today is Sep 5th. I would like to delete my profile but I can't even do that since I can't log in.

Stay away from this site as far as you can. The customer service is a joke, never responding to your complaint. They just send another prefabricated text, asking the same question over and over again. Telling they escalate the case to a higher level. I read this at least 4 times. Nothing done. For days, they couldn't find my account at all after I was locked out of my account, even I've send them 3 times their own subscription confirmation email. Then they came up, they can't find the login information for my new account. I told them I had only 1 account, I used and paid for.

Our Time is a fairly priced Site. The Layout is easy to understand. Realistically speaking, SAVE YOUR MONEY: I’ve been actively watching; There is a VERY NOTICEABLE INCREASE IN FAKE PROFILES. What’s frustrating about this, VERY RARELY does Our Time catch these FAKE PROFILES! This problem has resulted in lower Membership Numbers. At one time, this was a reasonably good Site. I’ve been on Our Time for quite some time and have seen a STEADY DECLINE. Of Note: When you select what Ideal Distance you prefer, Our Time minimally displays Profiles that simply are NOT within the Ideal Distance the User opts for. Realistically & Truthfully Speaking: Shop around, this isn’t a good option for anyone honestly looking to find their ideal match.

They charged my card $82.06. Haven't used them in years. Mostly prostitutes and fake profiles. SCAM. SCAM. STAY AWAY. No way to contact them thru phone. No live person. Now got to wait for refund of money they stole.

After app 5 months w/: Our Time.com.. When OurTime constantly "matched' me with other members who made home 75, 150 miles away when my profile limited 50 miles..and the age, religious status limits were ignored by OurTime... Suddenly my profile was hacked into with much older women living on the coasts starting thanking me for "liking them"....whereby I informed all that my profile was hacked and OurTime was informed...but weeks later nothing was done, even proposed with excuses especially were rampant. App 20 emails went back n forth to no avail.. Their phone # 833 223 8873 was answered by robot simply referring all to "customer service"... On top of all this they are playing games re canceling my subscription with auto pay collection of app $ 159.oo. My credit and Credit Card relationships are excellent.. So they will stop pay and file SCAMMER V OurTime.

I do not recommend! I regretted as soon as I did and was able to see what I had purchased. I contacted them the very next morning, no response. Again, a couple days later. Again, no response. What it cost, and then constantly having to add money, is horrible. Yes, you can cancel the subscription, but they will continue to charge the original amount.

Signing up is easy. Then the trouble begins. False likes, listings of subscribers who have not been paid up or active for months, constant "begs" for upgrades, and customer service that is totally inadequate. And to top it off, there is no way to communicate by phone- only back and forth emails which the customer service team doesn't read or is incapable of understanding. I suggest you keep your money in your pocket. This has been expensive lesson for me. Oh, and one more thing - there is no situation, regardless of how bad their service is, that will qualify you for a refund - even a prorated one!

Don’t ever cancel/not renew your membership— your profile remains visible. Ourtime will continue to contact you constantly re: suggestions or likes. If you are curious, the picture will be blurred out, no details about the “like” unless you sign up for another months long membership. Meanwhile, they’ve seen your profile. Don’t fall for this—- it’s shameful and wrong.

This site has been difficult to us, I have not like anyone on it and they keep wanting more money to just see profiles. The picture are mostly blurry and the profiles I do see don’t have much information. I wish I could get my money back and get out of there but I paid for three months.

As others have mentioned, this site is horrible. They have fake profiles, there are women on there that are professional hookers, other women looking for Visas to the US, I had at least 10 women ask me for money and a place to live. Multiple women asked me for personal information. Many women on the site are still married. They AUTO charge your card for every mouse click and then it's $150 for a six month subscription and then women who don't pay CAN'T respond to your unless you PAY MORE. Horrible, horrible site.

Maybe this site works well for you if you live in NJ, CT, or PA, but I have to scroll through 50 profiles before one in LI or the city boroughs comes up. So if you live on LI, this is a waste of money (unless, of course, you’re fine with driving an hour and a half to two hours, for a date). Then, there are the 28 and 40 something year olds who try to engage with me; why are they even permitted to be on a site that specifically advertises for “over 50”? What a waste of money this was for me.

If you want to use this service, take the one week subscription because you will see everyone that they have for you and after that, They are just trying to keep you hooked by sending you false hope messages. Good luck contacting customer service. There's no phone number, just an email and they might get back to you. These dating apps are designed to make money not for you to meet someone and the fake profiles on OurTime will send you a like by automation just to keep you interested.

IF OUR TIME IS NOT A SCAM IT IS VERY CLOSE TO IT. Everything costs 'extra'. After joining and paying to be a full member (about $80 for three months), it tries to milk you at every opportunity. Buy a BOOST to push you up on searchers list, pay 24 bucks extra to have other member be able to answer your messages for free. Yes, that is true! You must pay extra to answer messages. This is a terrible site with the constant micro transactions. Want to talk to Tammy? Just another $14 will get through to her. I hate this dating. Go to Silversingles, they are upfront there. Don't know much else to say except AVOID this site.

In the filter section where you enter info such as max and min height or age. I entered 45 miles maximum away, but the majority of the men that come in are 60 to 100 miles away. I have emailed them multiple times but no help.

I would not recommend Ourtime. I used it then decided it wasn't for me but since I paid a discount amt for a few months, I decided to let it run out. I tried to cancel before the end of my discounted time only to be able to deactivate my acct and thought it was cancelled. The next thing I notice was that they charged me for another 6 months, not just 1 month but 6. $120.00 is what I was charged. I've tried to reach out to them to fix the issue, but there isn't a phone number. So I emailed them again. If no response, I'm disputing it with my bank because of no response on their part. Please beware especially if you are on a fixed income.

They completely IGNORE any of the fields you have marked as deal breaker and simply flood your email with picks nothing close to what you ask for. Worst, is they simply can cut your account, allow you no access and then make it almost impossible to ever contact them. This site is full of scammers. I don't think Ourtime does any significant screening of the profiles being established. These profiles make contact and immediately want your phone number. When you question them about their motives they delete their profile. This has happened four times in the four weeks I have had a profile on their site. I cannot find any type of link for direct contact of the site. I also agree that the profile filter doesn't work at all. I keep getting suggestions from several states away. I have cancelled my membership and will use more reputable sites in the future. This site is a dumpster fire and you should steer clear!

You can not get into their site unless you make a full profile. Once I made a full profile and was able to view a few profiles, I went in to edit my profile and when I did, I got this notice to verify my phone number. I put phone number in and they would send a code. I Never received a code so was locked out of their site. I wrote 13 emails to customer service and still NO help. I then wrote several emails to delete my account and nothing was done. They keep sending me pictures of men who are interested in me but I can not get it to site. I finally contacted an attorney friend who also wrote them an email to delete my account and send me a confirmation of the account deleted. Still no one did a thing. Now I am filing a lawsuit because they are using my pictures without my ok.

I decided to try Our Time for one month introductory price. I checked off the box that says “cancel my subscription “. This is what you do if you want to make sure that you’re not renewed. Well, big surprise, I was renewed despite my checking the box. I immediately called PayPal. They took the charge off, but this has happen before. I call this practice a scam. Some people don’t pay attention, but I do. I never take more than one month if I decide to try out a site. By the way, the platform is not recommended. Not a good way to even get a coffee date. The men in my area, don’t follow up or bother to reply to a message, even though they messaged you first. Good luck. Go to another site. Match, being part of the group does the same thing.

OurTime is just like most other sites that send you photos of groups of men you specifically said you are NOT interested in. There is no filter for photos or the criteria you pay for. I am so disappointed that I paid for membership. I would love to cancel and get a refund. However, I'm sure there will be an excuse as to why I don't qualify for a refund. I've only been on the site for barely one week. I will be canceling my membership as soon as it expires. Such a waste of MONEY.

With my experience since January, I have found that there are more fake profiles, scammers, sexual content on all of the dating apps not just OurTime. It’s a shame that real people who are looking for someone to experience life with has to deal with this.

Do not buy into this....you buy subscription but you can't connect to the person and then want to Upgrade in order to respond or connect. I have been trying deactivate my account and get a refund in less than 4 hours. This is just for you keep buying upgrades with no positive outcomes. This is just a waste of time, and now I have to wait for my subscription to end, not having connected to anyone. Don't do it.

This happens time and again: I get an email from OurTime stating "Member A" wants to make contact with me. I click on "Member A's" picture. One of two things happen: (1) When I click on the picture it takes me to "Member X". OR (2) I click on the picture, leave a message, but can't get back to the picture immediately like if I wanted to add something to the message. OurTime is a total waste of money!

I was a member for 12 hours. Upon checking my email the next morning, saw it had been refunded with no explanation from them. When trying to log in, my membership had been blocked also with no explanation. Then when I contacted them by email, got an automated reply saying there would be a real reply in 24 to 48 hours and that has still never happened almost a week later. Since no rules of theirs had been broken, the most likely explanation is that a person (divorced at least 4 times) I used to know who was on there badmouthed me to the site and had me banned for no reason. Since I was refunded, maybe it's not such a big deal but them blindly taking the word of one party against a person who broke no rules is disappointing and then never following up with an email to attempt an explanation is also pretty bogus.

I signed up on December, paid for 6 months. No problem. I moved so I hid my profile. After my move I shared my profile again. It was okay less than a week then totally disappeared and there is no way to contact Ourtime. Their numbers and emails don’t work. If you go on for help the robo call sends you to just ask site for you to pay for help. Really?! I even tried I forgot my password it says they sent me a code and nothing ever comes to my email. This is so ridiculous. I wouldn’t recommend them for anything. I can’t even cancel. I paid to be ripped off totally. Go anywhere else. Make sure you can contact them and not have to pay for their issue. I wonder if they do this on purpose to get more money. IF ANYONE CAN GIVE ME INFORMATION ON HOW TO GET HELP I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT. This is a total ripoff.

The 'Top picks' are anything but top picks. Lots of fake profiles on the site, Catfishers are definitely allowed on the site. Another Match.com money grab and big-time loser site. In 3 months on the site, I received several messages from clearly fake profiles, no doubt fishing for $$$. The quality of the so-called 'Top picks' is a complete joke - they clearly have nothing in common with my profile. Don't waste your money! The Match Group parent company owns 41 dating sites and in 2022, the Match Group generated 3.19 billion U.S. dollars in revenue. Their sites include Match, Tinder, Plenty of Fish, OkCupid, Hinge, and Ourtime. In my opinion, they are a scam with little oversight.

The very first woman that I had contact with was a catfish. The pics were taken from this website **. She was supposed to be Lisa from Tempe, Az. It was a guy that lived in Pennsylvania. I got many fake profiles that Ourtime encouraged to send a message to. I finally got one that pulled a new surprise that I hadn't heard about. That one was able to get into my Ourtime account and delete all my pictures and my identity. When I joined, I had to give them information about myself before getting approved. Apparently, that's not always done, because these fake profiles that were supposed to be female members couldn't have been vetted. Now they blame me, banned even a new account that I paid for again. At least my account on Silver Singles got handled properly from the same offender and I turn in every fake profile that I come in contact with.

Tried to login in but they didn't allow to use my email address and my password. They want to have underscores. Ridiculous people. If I want to become a member why you are giving me a hard time and expect me to create a new email address. I was a member before and I am trying to locate someone I met there. For years the same people appeared there. People there is not bad, yes I also met 3 scammers there but you just have to report them, Block them and don't sent them any money or gift cards they ask you.

I figured I would try this site being that it has more people in the age 50 and over range. I purchased a week subscription around Thanksgiving thinking if it was a joke, I didn't spend on a month or more subscription price. Turned out, I could tell in 3 days it was a joke. Only other paying members can reply to your messages. This is apparently how the site makes its money. Women named "Victory" and "Freedom" on there and they claim these are their names. One was a ** woman in a rural area claiming to be **. I tried one more week at the 25% off price around Christmas. All of a sudden you get these scammer profiles reaching out right before your subscription ends. Then it shows you have messages waiting, but no messages are there. So thank you OurTime, I'm officially not paying a penny for a paid site again. These are no better than the free sites.

I helped my 74 year old grandfather who is a widower and looking for a companion get set up on his site. I took pics for him, filled out the profile and questions with him, got him a login, verified the account with him, and showed him how it worked. All pics were blurred out and you have to pay to see who liked your profile. I paid almost $80 for a 3 month subscription so he could use these features. Again, showed him how to use it and let him loose.

No way to tell if someone is a paid member who can respond to your messages. This is so Our Time can offer to sell you access from unpaid members as an optional purchase. While accounts active in the last few days are clearly marked, there is no way to tell how long other accounts have been inactive. I saw some of the same inactive accounts that were there when I joined briefly three years ago. No attempt is made by Our Time to allow only identifiable photographs as primary photo. There are hundreds of people who post a primary picture of themselves wearing sunglasses, which is just dumb. Minimum signup is now for 3 months. The database is not granular enough in filtering. I spent hours and hours eliminating members with dogs. Pet preferences could not be filtered.

OurTime is not what it advertised. All fake people, all fake answers. I can't believe after all these years I fell for it. I'm going to call my bank and see what they say. I'm not paying for only 10 days of subscription. And I only went on there 3 time. Beware.

Don’t hand over your bank details to this scam site! It’s nothing but a ghastly rip off! They overcharge you, they put you on automatic renewal and they don’t let you cancel. My search for wife was finished on J4Date.club - I found just what I was looking for. She is exactly my type of lady and I am more than happy! This is what happens when you search on a legit site. So I encourage everyone to stop wasting your time on Ourtime. They are only good at emptying your pockets! Don’t try to make it work – it’s rotten!

Paid for premium service. When I tried to message other members all they would see is an attempted communication. No word were received. When I tried customer support/service no human available. Only generic computer answers that didn't address my problem. Very disappointed. Will try eHarmony.

To their credit I found my true love, but customer service has been something else - particularly Jorge. I canceled auto renewal, but they charged me. Maybe I will get a refund but they've accused me.

They drag you in with likes and fake messages, once you pay, these profiles are nowhere to be found. I know there are great sites like J4Dates where they have active profiles, and if you receive a message or chat request from ladies (no matter if you have free, minimal or maximum account) they don't disappear and you continue messaging until you meet them, if everything goes well. I guess it happens when the site provides real profiles. Ourtime provides fake profiles! Another thing that drives me crazy is their customer service, they make it confusing and difficult to delete your profile.

This is not a real and SERIOUS company, think about, to take your money, right away all is good and smooth, so AS LONG AS everything is smooth with the app you are good, although they have very few subscriber, 8.9M against 530M in Tinder or even eHarmony with 37M, so you are paying for chances that are extremely low, I did not know about this, so I signed up with Ourtime, all went good and smooth, then I signed out as I got tired and needed to pic some photos, next time I tried to sign in (next day) I got a message YOU HAVE BEEN BLOCKED, I am like, what?

Since the day I originally looked at the Ourtime.com app, I have received eight fake profiles. These are people using AI to make it look like they speak English and are interested in a relationship. There is a line that you can use to ”express a concern”, regarding a profile, but it doesn’t seem to work. BEWARE! These people are very good at what they do. And it appears that they are being coached.

As my former review of match.com this one being the same co. and same result taking away 2 months of my service. All I can say is don't use them. There are opt thing is hard to follow and then when you don't pay the bill they your time 2 months worth. So use your own thought and think if you want to use them. Bad, bad co.

On OurTime, common sense flies out the window. So don’t assume that only one profile per user is allowed. Nope, you can have multiple profiles albeit with the different email addresses. Perfectly legal and confirmed with the Customer Service. And if this isn’t enough, some multiple users share the same user ID. I have a habit of bookmarking profiles and then looking them up later and make a choice. Nope, not possible with OurTime. I bookmark one, then try to bookmark another, and boom two supposedly different users have the same user ID. I personally don’t think that the numbers are recycled. More likely some if not all of them are FAKE in my humble opinion.

I’ve found that being a paid member is not worth paying for. There are duplicate profile photos & the profiles have different names, different states they reside in but the same interests. Most of the profile photos look fake & they recommend everyone & anyone but no one you would have an interest in meeting. I definitely don’t recommend this site.

I was a user of Ourtime.com for a substantial amount of time (on and off). At the beginning there was a serious problem of phony (spam) profiles and I would spend a good amount of time blocking these. Our Time did improve security somewhat with 2-step verification, however spam profiles still made their way into the system. However I could deal with that issue. What eventually threw me off is the ineptitude of the staff to solve what should have been a simple problem of my login not working. It was never fixed in weeks, and if you try their "customer service" number, 866-727-8920, it is terminally busy and apparently out of order. So forget about receiving any help for what you pay to use the system.

Profiles did not conform to my preferences. Asked for ** only, christian, 60-65, within 100 miles. Got all ethnicities, age 49-70, atheist and **. Also documented profile of a scammer via screen shot before he deleted his online profile. Double billed, canc, but no refund provided. Cust service did not email back. Took screen shot of canc #. Had to file vendor dispute via my bank to atremot to get refund and stop possible recurring billing.

I’ve been on a number of dating sites and OurTime is the worst. IMHO the best is J4luv because they weed scammers out. My entire experience with Ourtime was negative. I won’t call it an utter scam but the price is too much for what is available. So what do they offer you for real after you take enough time to set up your profile and upload pictures? Tons of fake profiles, computer-generated messages and auto renewal for 3 months - it does not matter if you untick this option. Most of the prospects that seem more or less real either live 500 miles away or haven’t been online for months. So that’s why I’m telling you Ourtime is a waste of time!

Received a like from someone I personally know who flat out told me she didn't do it. The website did it from monitoring my views in a deceptive ploy to get me to sign up. In other words the website programmers orchestrate phony activity from phony profiles which is complete criminal fraud. These people should all be arrested, fined and shut down.

Been with for a year. Included in my profile - that interested in locals. Get several messages from out of town. Dry spells where get no interests at all. Not enough info on likes/comments on men's profiles. Few even acknowledge that a like has been sent or that a comment has been sent. Thought the site dedicated to seniors would be more successful for me, but it's just the same as all the ones I attempted when younger. Waste of my time and money.... Have the decency to at least respond and if they aren't responding - kick them off the site, cause they're just taking up space!

This site does not appear to use much in the way of a matching algorithm. They send any and everyone at you regardless of distance other things you might care about. Several in one month have been scammers. And, it is down, server not responding, regularity (like every Friday night and Saturday morning for me).

I have been using OurTime for several weeks now. I get new posting every few days but most are from different states. There is no way to search what is near to you. Also it appears that keep pictures and profiles online even if they are no longer members. You can write a message to them but unless they rejoin they cannot see it. I get the feeling that the majority of the listings they show are no longer active but are left on to make them look more successful. I will give it a few more months (I have a six month contract) but it does not look like it is organized well enough to be of use.
