This company is very much into false advertising. I purchased a membership that said I would get unlimited likes. As potential dates were presented to me, I couldn’t like them. In order to contact them, I needed to buy extra capabilities. When I inquired about this match, said that they were highly likable customers and so that’s why they had a premium price attached to being able to like their profile. What I seem to be left with is a bunch of men who are scammers. Really, and truly, I have not met anybody who is equal to me in my education level or my attractiveness if I want to try to contact somebody that is attractive to me I have to pay an extra four dollars per like.

I really do not like their format especially that you can not see who you messaged and if they’ve read it! I have run into fake profiles and how they get away with it just shocks me because I couldn’t view or do anything until I got a subscription which I feel is definitely too high especially for seniors! I will not recommend this this site to anyone!

This site is terrible! My original experience has been a situation where I clicked with someone, and for 3 months he was breadcrumbing, and making it seem like he was interested. It felt like he was trying to get information. Then, after kicking him to the curb after figuring it out, the profiles would say that they were looking for a relationship, but then experienced ghosting and ended up blocking more than communicating. I would adjust my preferences, and the profiles being shown were nowhere near where I lived. Not even in the state.
Then, after reporting the profile of the person I went out with, customer service was asked about a partial refund and I wanted to cancel. They said that since I sent messages, I can't get a refund. Then they said that they canceled my renewal. I went in and saw that the renewal had not been canceled, and after trying 10 times, I finally figured out how to cancel.
It is a terrible site filled with no scanning, a bunch of scamming and children. The site will take your money and scam you. It should be shut down. There is absolutely no reason why I can't get profiles of people in my tri-state area to review. I unfortunately that it's dating, but I think that they are all fake. To also mess with my subscription like they did, not cool!

I cancelled less than a month into my subscription. Although still “active” until it expires, I have had approx 7 fake likes, and was alerted to a fraudulent user that I had been chatting with. Not worth the money at all. And the matches that are sent don’t match your profile. If you are a “social” drinker, you get matched with someone who doesn’t drink! And that’s not the only profile mismatch either. Never went on a date, and I’m afraid being sent people that are a thousand miles away or more. Waste of money!

If I could give match a zero, I would. Their customer service is awful. Their website and app are constantly having problems with accounts. I asked them to deactivate my old account to stop getting emails because I wanted to take a break, and they deleted it. Then when I tried to rebuild it with a new email, they wouldn't allow my phone number to be used and would never tell me why. Then when I got a temporary number for activation, they blocked my account with no reason given. Very little response from "customer care". When you respond with all the information they ask, they just repeat the questions. Three times I went through that. All around it's just awful.

I've gotta hand it to the one-star reviewers, they're not wrong, I'm not a subscriber either, but I've been casually swiping through the free features for almost a month and my dating life is still a ghost town - two likes, that's it, what the heck? I mean, I've been on other sites like Feeling.com and I've got 50 likes, it's like this site is playing a cruel joke on me. And don't even get me started on Plenty of Fish, I've got five likes there and I'm not even paying, it seems like nobody's active in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, I mean they have the near me feature but it's like nobody's online, this site was probably great back in the day but now it's just a shadow of its former self.
Ok Cupid's got its own issues, it's like a dating graveyard filled with people pretending to be Americans, yeah I learned my lesson, don't pay for a site for more than a month, just cancel and move on, if you like it you can always come back and if you don't like it well you haven't lost too much, so take my advice. Don't get sucked in, unless you're made of money and and don't mind disappointment.

I have encountered numerous fake profiles on this site. Approximately 90% of them have no subscription. All are widowed and living in exclusive areas. Most of them include pictures of dogs, expensive vehicles, boats, jewelry only to lure the victims in. Once you start chatting they immediately want to move to another platform to chat or ask for your number. I can pick them out instantly and I let them know I’m reporting them. But does Match remove them? Do they even care that these fraudsters are scamming women into sending money to them? I’m sure some are falling for it. Match has to buckle up and take accountability here. Stay off this site!

I just paid more than $200 two weeks ago, for 6 months membership, and Match.com has already banned me. No reasons given, just that I violated their Terms and Conditions, and they don't tell me what I did wrong. Log in was a problem and staying was a bigger one. They kept sending me messages that they were having technical issues, or to clean the cache and log in again... I had to change passwords twice and still I would have problems login in every single day, all these during the less than two weeks as a subscriber.
Not being able to log in, I received an email to contact customer care to which I did and after locking the account while reviewing it, they didn't care the why's I wasn't able to log in... and this is what they sent me. "We have reviewed your account for a ban appeal and determined that you have violated our Terms and Conditions or Community Guidelines. As a result, your account will remain banned; this decision is final."
As far as I'm concerned I didn't do anything wrong. I ask them to prove me what I did and of course, nothing. I read their terms and conditions and I didn't violated any single term or condition. Their website did! Not only they feel to do whatever they want, without consequences, but they keep lots of members who don't pay for a subscription and fake accounts!. I don't have the money to throw it like that and it's obvious that they didn't have a problem receiving the money I paid for it. SCAM!

I had a paid Match.com subscription for six months and barely received any activity—just a couple of contacts the entire time. For a service that charges premium prices, that level of engagement is extremely disappointing. What really raised red flags is what happened after I canceled. Suddenly, I started getting 3–4 likes per day—all conveniently locked behind a paywall so I couldn’t see or respond to them without re-subscribing. It strongly feels like Match is using algorithms to restrict visibility and engagement for paying members, then artificially boosting “interest” once you cancel to pressure you into paying again. If this is how the platform operates, it’s manipulative and misleading. Dating apps should help people connect, not gatekeep interactions to maximize revenue. Based on my experience, Match.com prioritizes monetization over genuine matches, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a transparent or fair dating service.

Save your money, this ranks up there with Ashley Madison, full of scammers. You spend more time sifting through them than anything else. Generally red flags are, when they ask, how long have you been on here, what's your experience (mention scammers they generally disappear), 1 picture with no Bio, likes from females who are good looking and you know, wouldn't give you the time of day, they ask almost immediately to chat on a different app, when you accept their profile un-matches you, I use Telegram under a fake account, greet them with "Alaye". I found out this is how scammers greet each other if they feel the other person is a scammer. I was greeted like this, looked it up and found out what it meant, responded back the same and a short conversation later dude tells me he's from Ghana. Anyway, beware... After money as always.

Yeah, take it for what you pay. You aren't going to find the love of your life for $120 for three months. If you get one date in that span, you are doing good. Of your likes, matches and views, I believe the only semi-real are those who were on the site recently, are subscribers and write to you first. The storefront is pretty thin so they recycle profiles as noted in other reviews. Of those that write, start testing their knowledge of where they say they are living. But remember, they can Google stuff that sounds reasonable.
The dead giveaway about this site is the amount of time non-users spend on it. Not being able to search, communicate and do anything useful would be 5 minutes of eyeball time for most. Those types of profiles are the majority and makes you wonder what those people are doing. Probably bots are fake client-facing indicators. 2 connections made on Match over the last 3 year. 12+ on Zoosk. I am not plugging Zoosk, just level setting for my experience.

Avoid this platform due to the amount of fraud and the lack of interest that Match has with addressing the issues. I previously had good experience with match.com. I went back to use this platform in the fall of 2025. I had an experience with someone who seemed legit but ended up being fraudulent. I was targeted on the platform with a series of fake likes with similar pattern. Match flagged many of these as fraudulent. I ended up having to do a reverse image search to see what was legit.
I complained to customer service and asked for help filtering the fake accounts or to give me a partial refund. They refused both and cancelled my auto renewal saying that my full 6 month payment was not refundable since I had sent out messages for the first two months. The company is unable to filter obvious fake account patterns and manage good customer service. The end story is that I'm left with dealing with about 100 phishing text message and phone calls per week as a result of using this platform. Yes, I followed their guidelines for safety.

I've been researching Match.com for about a month now and have conclusively verified that it's almost all foreign scammers looking for men to send them money or AI Chatbots used to keep you from cancelling your membership. The system creates empty profiles using AI to match your search criteria and then uses an AI chatbot to chat with you. You can easily verify yourself by asking questions and attempting to meet in person (hint they never will). Also they have pre-canned, paragraph-length responses that they reply with much faster than a human can type which makes it even more obvious. - AVOID this SCAM site.

I joined Match with high hopes but was disappointed at every stage of my time on the site. I paid over $400 for a year of service with elevated access. Over three months, I had access for only a quarter of the time because Match falsely blocked (twice) me after I reported (twice) scams on the site - which they agreed were improper accounts.
Their Customer Care team failed to read my emails accurately and instead replied with AI generated automated responses and once sent me a reply directed to another member. They also refuse to provide any evidence of what they consider my inappropriate action. The Resolutions team - which the online message states to contact - was also unresponsive. They then charged me roughly $75 for a service I never requested and could never use because I was blocked.
Match may not be responsible for the high number of scammers on the site, but it does not take customer concerns seriously. It also does not provide any means to speak with a representative and unilaterally refuses to allow a customer to appeal once the “Care Team” makes its decision. All of this without providing ANY evidence of my wrongdoing - because it does not exist. In short, I had $500 taken from a “service” that does not require evidence on their part and denies me any concept of due process.

And to make matters worse, they will use your profile across all of their platforms, which means not just match.com, but Plenty of Fish, and all the other sites under their umbrella. This is what you experience after you sign on: A picture of a person. They might appear attractive, so you poke the screen and more pictures of the person appears. So far so good. You poke again except you slightly swiped, so the person disappears. Then what? If you touch the screen in the wrong place, you never see this person again. Though there is a rewind feature, which sometimes works only after you pass on someone (which you just did). It doesn't work. So you need to like someone immediately by just the first picture or proof they're gone.
At over 65 years old, I don't have time for this bullshit and this is a waste of time and money. I would like to see people, and carefully read, look, think instead of immediately poking and discounting a person that might be very attractive or important. I would receive an email from Match stating that a profile that had contacted me was removed due to breaking the policies. I estimate that 98% of the contacts with me were removed for being scammers. I am really delighted (sarcastic) that I wasted $82 on this scam!

It's now two children later and four years of marriage into our relationship, but my husband was the first person I went on a date with from Match.com after I paid for a membership subscription, did the survey, and let the superior algorithm that Match.com do its magic. I paid about as much as a good leather purse for a one year membership subscription with Match.com, but meeting my husband has turned out to be way better than anything else I've paid for. It was totally worth it. Match.com is basically the marriage website, and if you're looking for someone to marry, you may want to check out Match.com as they give good results. I highly recommend Match.com and their superior algorithm.

Using the Match website, cancelled my account and they acknowledged that my pics and profile will no longer be available for others to view. However, their confirming email advises that my profile will remain active for the duration of my subscription. When I attempted to log back into my account, Match advised that I must re-activate my account. This is a sense proves that many of the profiles are fake and/or inactive. Most of the profiles of women sent to me did not meet my minimum requirements and most of which were from out of state. I have used Match a few times over the last ten or so years. In October 2024 my subscription automatically renewed even though I was sure I had turned off auto renewal (after reading many reviews here I now wonder if Match over rode auto renewal which I turned off). In April, 2025, as the end of the six month subscription was approaching, I did not want another renewal, and did not want to maintain my profile with Match, so I deleted my account.
As my circumstances changed during this year, I figured I'd sign up for the free account just to have a look. On November 27, 2025 I created an account using the same email address and password as before. As I set up my profile I found the functionality was severely limited, and I could see only six profiles out of 185 in my first search. I then logged out. Later in the evening I wanted to try to add more to my profile, and was unable to login. A message came up that access was blocked and to contact customer care.
After hopeless attempts with the help bot, I was able to submit a request to customer care. The response was I was blocked as Match had previously removed my account (that is not correct, I deleted my account). I submitted the appeals form explaining I had deleted my account, and wanted to set up my account again using the same email address as before. The response was I have violated the Terms and Conditions or Community Guidelines. As a result your account will remained banned, this decision is final.
This is totally ridiculous. Match has accused me of a violation without providing any specifics. I know I have not committed a violation. Reading the reviews here, and on other review sites, I'm dismayed to see so many users have the exact same, or similar experience. I will explore avenues in my Canadian province to at least bring this to the government's attention. The practical recourse is, as the saying goes, to vote with my feet. I will never attempt to use any of the Match (there are multiple dating sites Match owns) sites. Thankfully I did not pay, so I'm not out of pocket like many of the other reviewers.

At 67 years young, I packed up everything I knew in New Jersey — my job of 22 years, my 16-year relationship (13 of those years married), and the comfortable routines you don’t realize are routines until they’re gone. My dog, my absolute light, passed just before the move. She was supposed to come with me. And honestly, I think she knew. So I headed to Florida, determined to find peace: palm trees, sunshine, and maybe…just maybe…find a man who didn’t belong in the Lost & Found bin of emotional maturity. Now listen — I knew damn well I wasn’t meeting "The One" in the produce aisle at Publix unless he was hiding behind the avocados. So I did what any brave, slightly bored woman fresh off a life reset would do — I joined Match.com. Let the games begin.
Date #1 – The Statue of Liberty’s Ear Wax Specialist. He wasn't honest about his height — shocking, I know. But the fun started before I even met him. At one point he actually asked if he should wear a sleeveless shirt so he could “show off his guns.” Sir…the only thing you’re firing is my fight-or-flight response. Over the course of our sunrise cruise, I asked the perfectly innocent question, “So what did you do before retirement?” He leaned in — deeply — and told us that he worked as a maintenance supervisor…inside the Statue of Liberty One of his responsibilities? Keeping Lady Liberty’s ear clean. I’ll pause so you can picture that.
He went on about bird poop buildup, specialized equipment, and something that sounded suspiciously like a giant Q-Tip rental. I might’ve believed him if someone hadn’t chimed in, mentioning they once delivered kitchen equipment to the Statue of Liberty and were familiar with the layout. Suddenly my date backpedaled. “Oh, I was just kidding. ” Mmm-hmm. NEXT!
Date #2 – The Man with Two Names. We met for lunch at a cute café. Ten minutes into the date he casually said: “Oh, by the way…Bob isn’t my real name. It’s Peter.” Oh?… Why? If you can’t show up with your real name, you certainly can’t show up for a relationship. NEXT! Date #3 – The Romance, The Pizza, and The Fire Alarm from God. Ah, the third one. The one who almost slipped through. He invited me to a very expensive restaurant, and I’ll admit — it was impressive. We sat and talked for hours. It was unexpectedly easy, and we had a connection.
At the end of the night, he tried to kiss me, but I panicked and practically sprinted to my car. I hadn’t kissed anyone in ten years! I didn’t know where my lips went anymore. I texted him a thank you when I got home, and he replied that he was dreaming of “a real kiss.” Well…that woke something up. He planned another beautiful dinner for when he returned from traveling. I was excited — nervous, but excited. I knew the kiss was coming. He showed up looking a little disheveled, like no effort had been made. It took me three hours just to choose my pair of shoes…the least he could do was choose himself. That should’ve been another sign.
But oh well — we held hands, and it was very romantic. We kissed, and it was lovely. Really lovely. We started texting sweet, romantic things throughout the week. Then he invited me over for “pizza and a movie”. Oh, I knew what was going to happen. The goddess was ready. Pizza first, skin-to-skin second. I should’ve known something was off when he pushed my plate closer to me like I was a toddler who needed help reaching her food. Then he casually dropped that he was leaving for two weeks. This man treats communication like a seasonal sport. Ok no big deal. We’re making out on the couch — hot, steamy, fully adult - I maybe 67, but I am very alive. — And suddenly… THE FIRE ALARM GOES OFF!
Great. Nothing like emotional whiplash mixed with sexual tension. I’m convinced God himself pulled that alarm and said “Sweetheart, absolutely not.”. Divine intervention at 1,000 decibels. We shuffled outside, makeup melting, desire evaporating, neighbors staring. When we got back inside, I told him I was exhausted and needed to go home — because I knew if we kept going, my heart (and nerves) wouldn’t survive two weeks of inconsistent communication. And boy, was I right. Before he left he was vague. Hard to reach. “Busy because friends are in town.”
He bailed on the plan to see me before his trip. Canceled with a “hopefully you’ll forgive me.” He didn’t text Monday. Then 7 am Tuesday morning, he sent the perfect romantic message — of course he did. At 2 PM, he asked if I could come over. "Sir, weren’t you supposed to be traveling?" Plans had “changed.” I said I was unavailable. He left without seeing me. My intuition wasn’t just whispering — she was screaming. So I ended it. He replied that if I changed my mind, he’d be anxious to see me. I said I needed clarity, presence and consistent communication but was willing to meet when he returned so I could explain. He responded: “Not necessary to move forward. Best wishes.” Ah. There it is. NEXT!
Where I Am Now. Dating at 67 is not delicate, soft, or sentimental. It’s full-contact comedy. It’s plot twists, food stained jackets, fake names and giant imaginary Q-Tips. But I left New Jersey to find peace — and honestly? I’m finding it. Every ridiculous man is giving me a new story, a new laugh, a lighter heart, and a stronger intuition. I may not find love at Publix…but on Match.com? And here’s the thing—the journey continues. I’ll keep kissing frogs… though at my age, are they even frogs anymore? More like “vintage amphibians.” But I’ll keep kissing them anyway. Because I still believe in romance. I still believe in connection. I absolutely believe in the possibility of intimacy—things I once thought were long gone. Turns out, they’re not. They’ve just been waiting for me to reclaim them…

I got much older and much younger, never married, uneducated, and nothing close to what I selected. Secondly, out of the blue your “likes” are blurred. it’s indicated you need to renew and then they decline all forms of payment. Your bank says they never declined anything. You seek support but it’s all automated and they do nothing. Third, they ban you for no clear reason.
I reported a message from a radical MAGA user and it may have triggered my account being blocked. So you must appeal the bans. When I contacted them to ask why the photos were blurred, it took 2 days to get back to me via email to say you need to upgrade to the next level to see those photos. I was very upset about this because I remembered specifically that was a feature of the Platinum level. I'm emailed again and said, "No you're wrong. This is part of platinum level." Once again, they denied it and said we've changed our service and now you have to pay to upgrade to see who's viewed you. I knew that was a lie.
I went on as if I was a new person trying to enroll as a member and took photos of the website, specifically stating you can see "Who's Viewed Me" with the Platinum level service. I even emailed them with the photos of the website. Once again, they sent me back a standard reply that said you need to upgrade your membership and we will send you a link so that you can do that in order to see who's viewed you. This disgusted me. Another example of corporate lies and manipulation on subscription services that also continue to renew without very difficult cancellation procedures. People are tired of these scams. I’ve used Match.com with paid subscriptions in the past and liked it fairly well. This time, I signed up for the Bronze level, made my profile visible, and even bought some boosts. I soon received several likes and one message — but when I tried to view them, Match.com showed they existed yet demanded I upgrade to Platinum to see who sent them or read any message content. That “upgrade” costs $50 more per month. In my opinion, Match.com has become a predatory paywall trap. I strongly recommend others avoid subscribing. If consumer fraud were still a government concern, I’d be filing a complaint.

Zero customer service. If there is a problem with your profile or a change that the user can not make, do not anticipate any human intervention. Match does not respond to the online form that can be completed. The form only sporadically works. There is no response to the online "chat" function. You can write all you want and you will never get a response. What Match cares about mostly is upgrading the service and collecting your money. My sense is that Match does not really care what their clients think. What Match cares about is money. There are better dating service out there, do not use Match.

Lots of problems with this service in 2025. It's a shame because I had a lot of good experiences with it in 2010-2011. However, the service is pure garbage now. I'm not talking about people on it, I mean the actual company.
1.Most of the profiles seem fake, or stale. Match is keeping profiles up of people that are no longer using the site. I'm guessing at least 40% are not active. Match is posting a lot of fake profiles to boost their numbers. The profiles contain little info, oftentimes the info that is there makes no sense. Photos seem unnatural. SCAM.
4. I've seen numerous profiles listed 2 and 3 times. So basically, if I search and get 100 profiles from my search, maybe 30 of those are different with the other 70 being duplicates. Match does this on purpose to inflate their membership. SCAM.
5. When I don't use the site for a while, I start getting likes. Why? Well, to bring me back in. It's a scam.
6. I've been liked by 7 women the past two weeks. 5 of those profiles disappeared entirely after I click on the email link and go to the match website. The other 2 didn't reply back. There is no explanation for this other than a deliberate and shady practice by Match to draw people in and pay.
7. I've read horror stories about getting a refund from them, however I will still try because I paid for a service that I'm not getting.
8. Match has been sued for shady business practices.

When I actually paid for the Match.com account, half of those profiles were unavailable because they were fake “bots” or algorithms sent to lure me to sign me up. It’s now been two months on the site, and there is absolutely positively guarantee that it is completely fake.
I heard other women joining for free on Match.com, but they make guys pay for the site. Match.com’s customer service is absolutely abysmal. Reaching an actual human being is nearly impossible — everything is routed through endless automated replies that do nothing to address real problems. Even when you manage to submit an issue, the responses are generic, copy-and-paste answers that make it painfully clear no one actually read your concern. The company hides behind layers of automation, making it feel like customers don’t matter once they’ve paid for a subscription. There is no urgency, no accountability, and no meaningful support. If you’re expecting timely resolutions or even basic courtesy, you’ll be sorely disappointed.
Considering the price of a Match subscription, their lack of genuine customer service is outrageous. For a platform that advertises itself as one of the “leaders” in online dating, they treat their customers as if they’re disposable. The message is clear: once they have your money, you’re on your own. If customer service is at all important to you, save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere. I receive E-Mails informing me of how many likes and messages I’ve received but I’ve yet to be empowered to see or read profiles and messages. I’ve spent the last 2-months attempting to get access to the account with no success whatsoever.
Their bots have told me my E-Mail account was invalid and that the only phone number I’ve ever had did not correspond with their records. Accordingly, I’ve reached that point of complete frustration with Match.com. Without question, their business model of not being reachable, providing absolutely no support to their paying customers and ignoring their customers’ pleas for assistance seems to be working for them. I signed up for a six month subscription with Match.com and met someone. I went on the website and canceled the membership. On 08-05-2025 my card was billed over $166 for another six month subscription. I tried to call match but was unable to reach anyone. I tried to log onto the site but can’t because the email address I used to sign up with is no longer being used by me.

Total rip off. My account was locked before I could even get on it! Can not contact a person. On get a bot says the same thing with ideas to fix problem. But when you are totally blocked that is no help!!

I get approached by women who are obviously from other countries. This site is full of scammers and Match doesn't do anything to vet them. I give this site a rating of a "1." I have to take the time to sort out whether or not these are real and honest people.

Absolute terrible customer service. I signed up, paid and have never had access to my account. I don’t want my information out there and I can’t even get in to review it. Filled out several of their requests, chat with customer service is the absolute worst. It just spews the same information and doesn’t address your issue. I think it’s terrible my info out there and I can’t edit or do anything.

I am no different than the majority of reviews here. Match has a rating of 1.1. If there was a zero rating their rating would be 0.1. I suggest everyone that has ever paid for a subscription call your banks, visa departments and tell them they should stop processing charges from Ourtime, POF and Match which are all owned by Match. As well let's all flood all 3 networks with numerous complaints to keep them busy looking at complaints as they don't look at reasonable complaints. They hired a doughhead in Feb 2025 as CEO at $800,000 and he is more terrible than the other doughhead. Never give MATCH, POF or OURTIME another penny. They are all LOSERS!

I am a 75 year old widow without huge digital expertise. I got "banned" from the site before I had even finished uploading everything and answering their questions! There was nothing scandalous in what I was posting, so I suspect a technical error occurred. I have contacted their supposed Customer Care via email, the only way available, and been told I am simply banned and they will not even correspond with me again. So disappointing. What a lousy company!!!

Match.com is a scam. Customer service is a joke. Don't ever use the site. I sign up by mistake and within seconds I requested a refund. No way they said. I never did anything on the site. These people are terrible!!!

Match.com coupons are a bait and switch. Do not trust them. After continued errors in trying to sign up I contacted their customer service which is bot driven and could not answer my question as to why I was receiving errors. After several requests for a live agent I finally received a canned email response well after my coupon expired. They sent me a new one but with only 6 months at the discounted price not the full year as the previous coupon allowed. Again the back and forth with the bot and canned email reply. I never received a result. When I tried to sign in again there was an error message that I must contact customer service. Enough, I give up! I told Match to cancel my account remove, my photos, and reply to me a confirmation that this has been completed. No reply. Relationships should start with a best foot forward. This is their example of relationships. Go elsewhere. Do not start or stay. A bad relationship with this company.

Fraudsters. Scammers. (I am talking about the company) Match.com. Do not give these guys a penny. They are a fraud. Buyer Beware. They will block your account and steal your money. Happy karma exists. These people - whoever is responsible for this scam system will be paying with a high cost that is beyond - sucks to be them.

I am just beyond frustrated after multiple emails directly to Match with no responses. It’s sadly become a monopoly, leading you only to advertising for other similar sites, all owned by MATCH. We all should get smart and beware. Easily tricked into another portals.

The customer service is non-existent. I have been blocked from my account with a phone verification problem and nobody has solved the problem. The meter is running and nothing. Buyer beware. There is no customer support, only online bots. How do they get away with it. Look elsewhere.

Match.com is a big scam, I purchase a premium membership I got over 100 likes when I like some of the profiles they disappear. This site has a lot of fake profiles and married men who are looking for one night stand. What a waste of my hard earn money. If I was looking for one night stand I would go to a free site.

I signed up last Sunday afternoon, did my profile, paid for a 6 month subscription, used the app a little on Sunday, then Monday morning and in the evening, started talking to one person, then used again Tuesday morning, in the afternoon couldn't log in. I sent several emails to support team. Until now no answer back. I want to know what happened because I was barely there, and now 5 days later no help.!!

Match does not pay any mind to your preferences. I do NOT date ** women. Yet their recommendations were full of ** women. I do not date anyone younger than 42 or older than 55. Guess what? Full of them too. I did meet someone. We are talking. She is questionable. We took things off Match due to their insane money grabbing tactics. We were very limited on communication even after platinum Membership.

I did enjoy browsing through, although nothing came of it. I tried to call their 800 number to question a charge that was made after 6 days of a previous one. When there was no one to talk to and only directed to simply email, I called my bank to put the charges in dispute until I received an explanation. I was immediately banned and removed from Match for behavior that violates their Terms of Service and Community Guidelines! Apparently, you cannot question a charge or ever expect a refund. This site is one big scam that just lives off our subscriptions!!!

I’ve been a member of Match for over a year with no results. The other day I went into the app to see when my membership expires so that it doesn’t automatically renew and cost me more money for nothing. That afternoon I went into the app and I had 50 views of my profile (I’ve never had more than 3 or 4 at a time) and 5 likes all from hundreds of miles away. Does this sound like a scam to you? It does to me.

I joined and noticed almost no views, though I live in one of the largest States and cities in America. Seems almost like I'm frozen. I emailed Match with little to no response and seems as though my account to Match is set up in another Country and I believe it's Australia. I've chatted with others who said they had the same exact experience and can't get the issue resolved. I left my phone number, they have my email but make no effort to contact me. I don't recommend Match.com.

Worst dating experience. There is no customer interaction and the response comes after days of screwed relationships. Charges are premium but services are worst. They don’t deserve a high google rating, this is big trap. I will never ever join or try this app again nor recommend to anyone else.

I joined and immediately started getting matches. I soon found most were scammers that disappeared after a brief exchange of messages and after I refused to go offsite or move quickly to provide my number. Then the real fun started: I cancelled my subscription literally same day I subscribed then read that you have to contact Customer Care to request that your data be removed but I couldn’t access the site as my subscription was cancelled. I then got an email from Customer Help saying my account had been reactivated, basically so I could ask to cancel AND DELETE my data.
This started a merry go around of emails, getting nowhere. And forget about getting a refund. After the initial email confirmation of my account being cancelled, nothing was processed because my account was once again “active”. I don’t know now if my account data/profile and pictures are still out there. I urge you to not subscribe.
