Chuck and I had a virtual meeting on 6/17. We exchanged phone numbers, he texted 3 days later - wanted to meet. We met at a local restaurant for a drink. It was a nice conversation - however, at this time, I will pass on meeting him again. There was no physical attraction, a nice man. Our personalities are different. I'm very outgoing due to my sales background. He came across as quite conservative and laid back, not my nature!

I had become disenchanted with dating sites & almost felt like giving up. I joined It's Just Lunch & Debbie was assigned to me as my dating coordinator. I joined IJL because I wasn't happy with online dating. I liked that they took on the legwork of finding quality matches for you. A bonus was not having to put your information on the internet. I had a nice conversation with Paula. We spoke for about 30 minutes. Jen did a nice job of setting up. We may consider meeting halfway to meet some weekend in the future. We both like to golf. She has a nice personality.

Sometimes we all need help in one category or another. The saying, “strength in numbers,” is a fact in this case. With love being such a powerful energy source, if not the most can be a bit intimidating. It’s not a bad idea to have extra hands. Especially after recent years of adding in poor judgement in those younger years that only made a terrible recipe of doubt to follow in those current years of the very thought of companionship. Ever.

Alma, my matchmaker, did a wonderful job matching me. She is conscientious, enthusiastic and effective. She responds quickly to calls and emails and does her job with great aplomb. I recommend her highly. She is excellent- a consummate professional. I enjoy working with her very much.

This has been a very disappointing year with IJL, as I have been on only one date in 12 months. With that said, my experience with Alma has given me hope that this could turn-around. I want to continue with her as my match-maker and would encourage IJL study her handling of clients as an example of professionalism in this complicated field.

Signing up in January was great! It was easy and felt genuine that they had my best interest at heart. First date was in February and he wasn't a correct match. Although he was very handsome, he had a child and didn't want more. For me, that was a HUGE deal breaker. However, I learned so much about myself and how to start dating again that I took it as a positive, learning experience. During our date he told me that after 7 months IJL called him and presented them with me. I kept that information in the back of my mind and thought that I hope this didn't happen to me. I did express this information to my matchmaker. About a month later, I reached out to my matchmaker because I didn't hear anything, she indicated that "we were still working on matching you!"

I had a virtual date with my match in lieu of a physical meet. It was a creative way to overcome the pandemic. Alma clearly listened to my story and matched me with a man that met my expectations. We have spoken on the phone since and fingers crossed meet when we are able.

Never used a dating service before this one so I can’t compare, but I’ve had multiple conversations about helping with the search process from my agent and have had generally positive experiences on dates so far. During the socially limiting period of the quarantine and shutdowns, they started virtual meetings that have so far been pleasant and IJL solicited feedback after each one and my agent called me the following day after each one as well.

While I am still new to IJL, thus far I have found Alma to be sincere and thoughtful and a pleasure to work with. She is a good listener and provides honest, constructive feedback. This is a difficult time to be dating, something which is already challenging for someone in a healthcare profession, such as myself. However, I have been pleasantly surprised with the genuine nature of the people I have had the chance to interact with and am hopeful that the experience will only continue to be more enjoyable as each date progresses and I am able to refine my preferences and discuss with Alma more. I've been an IJL member for several months. I joined because I had a great experience 10 years ago when I lived in Omaha, NE. I think IJL is really the only way to go when looking for a partner. Forget Match.com, etc. I tried it and my friends have tried it - it doesn't work. Debbie has worked hard to find matches for me. The women I've met have been the best - smart, witty, educated, well-spoken - absolutely with no exceptions. A personal matchmaker and, in particular, Debbie, gets results. I think it's a matter of continuing to try and not giving up. I began my IJL experience extremely disheartened because I was matched with a few matchmakers who weren't a good fit for me and didn't get what I was looking for or seem invested in me finding love, but that all changed when I was transferred to Sheri. She's like the best friend you wish you had in that she gets to know you and what you're looking for and peps you up and is also realistic with you. She's been extremely communicative and committed and has matched me twice so far, both with guys who fit my specifications and were really fun to talk to. It's been a little weird because I signed up prior to COVID and am now doing virtual dating but she has been working just as hard and I'm confident that, with her as my wingwoman, I'll find love in no time.

The first time it was pretty bad, with my dates cancelling at the last minute. The second time it was a little better, but the girls were not what I wanted. My initial phone call to IJL was to make some inquiries only, and get a general feel for the company. That is when I was introduced to Eva **; she immediately made me feel at ease with all of my questions and took the time to explain everything in a very relaxed and professional manner that made me feel there was no pressure. I told her I wasn’t ready to move forward and she reassured me that she would be there whenever I wanted to discuss the matter and there was no need to make the decision until I felt comfortable.

I have just reactivated my membership with IJL and have had great service with Debbie H - very friendly and effective. Debbie listens and was very eager to find the right date for me. This company is a waste of money and they sure waste a whole lot of it (to the tune of $**.) During the recruitment process, they promise you the moon and back, but they simply cannot deliver. They tell you there are so many men that would fit your criteria. They even start talking about the details to get you excited. My recruiter said stuff like “oooo there’s another guy in your area who’s a physician. He fits your criteria to a T!” After I’ve signed up and paid the money, my dating specialist never called me. After about 3 months of waiting, I finally called her and she says “I’m still working on your matches.”

Sheri has a great personality & listened to what I’m looking for, she’s not in a hurry to get off the phone, it seems she wants this client to be comfortable with IJL. As she works towards a successful outcome!! For me so far so good!!! She’s an A+.

I have been working with Amy for the past 8 months, and I have been very pleased with the experience. She has really taken the time to get to know me and the type of match I am looking for. She is very thoughtful and deliberate in her process, and only matches people together where she has a great sense that they will connect. So this can mean that a couple months go by between introductions. But I have come to trust her intuition, and have had 3 great introductions. Overall, she has been an amazing matchmaker.

I was not contacted by my matchmaker for more than a week after I joined. When I contacted the company, I was assigned to another specialist. She set up a match very quickly, and we met online. She didn't mention that the date lived 200 miles away. I don't think it should be considered a match, if he isn't looking for a LDR. He was nice, and we had a good conversation.

My experience with IJL so far has been ok. I rejoined the site a couple of months ago and went on my first virtual date a few days back and that went good. The matchmaker that I am working with Sheri has been very helpful and very informative about what I need to do for the time being while the service is going through this transition until things go back to normal.

FRAUD! FRAUD! FRAUD! Warning! Don't join It's Just Lunch! They are the biggest fraud on this planet. Here is my story. I joined their service in Nov 2019 and sales girl really talked me into this. She convinced to join It's Just Lunch! for a 12 months 24 dates package. They will talk to you very nicely before you join them. Sweet talkers. I am a victim of that. So what they do is they will give you a match maker after you join. I was given a match maker very first day of joining. When I talked to the match maker I came to know Sales girl and match maker don't even match on their thinking, I was like, "Damn I got screwed." I paid already and now I am stuck. It is a lot of money. I paid 4000$.

Sheri has been my matchmaker for a few weeks now and so far it's been a great experience. She's very friendly and truly wants to make sure her clients get the best possible experience. It's Just Lunch has also been proactive during the current coronavirus situation and Sheri made sure that I was aware of the virtual date option so that I wouldn't miss out on potential matches.

I tried an alternate dating platform in the past. My matchmaker there was an awesome person, but 5 out of 6 dates were complete weirdos. My second date with IJL was a great! My matchmaker listened to what I was looking for and delivered. I’m glad I didn’t let discouragement keep me from trying again.

Wanted to give a review on my Matchmaker Monique. She has been wonderful! She was very patient with me because I can be picky, very respectful of my criteria and concerns, very understanding and empathetic of some of the personal circumstances I had come up recently. She’s very good at her job, I believe she’s a wonderful asset to your company. As far as IJL goes, I do wish there were more matches, a larger pool so to speak. That’s not a reflection on Monique in any way. Just my comment about IJL in general as far as enrollments. I don’t have regrets joining, in fact I have recommended you to several of my friends.

So far I've only been on one date but it's been really good so far. I just hope to find someone that I am truly attracted to. Maybe instead of just showing one potential match show three instead? That way the client has options to choose from...

“It’s Just Lunch” is a paid matching making service and I’ll be the first to tell you that I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when I signed up. I’ve never used a matching making service before, but I turned to this option after several discouraging experiences with dating apps including Hinge and Bumble. What dating apps don’t tell you is that using them has to become at least a part time job, swiping through endless profiles, hoping to find someone with similar interests, then setting up the date (I guess because I’m a guy and girls don’t feel like they should make dating suggestions), only to be judged and treated like a number or an inconvenience with an arrogant date.

I have worked with Obed for the last year and have really enjoyed his professionalism in the way he has listened and been able to match me to my dates. He has learned so more about my match requirements and the individual I am seeking to meet. The last date he arranged, I feel was well coordinated considering the impact of the Coronavirus. Debbie listened carefully to my requests for the kind of man I would be interested in dating. My first date was a huge success; he was interesting and interested...lunch lasted nearly three hours!! The restaurant was a great choice, intimate with a varied and eclectic menu and delicious food.

The first lady I talked to after putting together suggested that I try older women than the age range that I put on my initial profile. My fault is that I let her do that. My dating coach was not helpful. The company gave me different dating coordinators each month. Most of the women they offered were older than the age range I put on my online profile. I went on a second date with only one of the women they set me up with. After that second date, I never heard from her again. The first woman they set me up with (who was older than the age range that I put on my online dating profile) told me that it would not work. Since I work in a facility that does not allow personal cell phones inside the building, I said I prefer email. The last coordinator they set me up with kept trying to call me at the most inopportune times for me. I believe I was charged too much for the service I received.

I have had one lunch date. It was very good. Obed was very helpful and encouraging. My lunch date was fun, smart and interesting. He was a professional and we had similar interests. I look forward to my second lunch date.

I've only been on one date so far but I've felt communication with my matchmaker has been helpful. Erica listens to my suggestions and as a bonus is fun to chat with during our conversations. I like the questionnaire follow up for the dates as well as the frequent phone chats to make sure everyone is on the same page.

I've been a member of IJL for about 6 months now. Got off to a bit of a rocky start as I had about 4 matchmakers early on, and very limited outreach. I was very concerned with the turnover and it felt as though I'd wasted my money. More recently though, I've been working with Vanessa, who seems to have a genuine passion for putting the right people together. She has been a joy to work with, and I hope to continue to work with her though finding the right person for me. I've had 2 dates so far. One was good, the other not so much. IJL has called and listened to my comments. They are working on my 3rd date. IJL was referred to me by a dear friend from California. It worked for her!

My experience with IJL did not begin well. The people assigned to me were not addressing my needs or understanding me. I had about given up and then Obed called and he was listening to me, I would not work with anyone else at this point, he is attentive and interested in making successful matches. He gets the 5 star rating.

I was pleasantly surprised to meet my first date who looked just like his picture and aligned closely with his bio. We had lunch at the Bravo restaurant in the Robinson Twp area of Pittsburgh. Staff at the restaurant were very accommodating and made meeting my date easy and seamless. We had a lot of things in common to talk about but I didn’t have an immediate physical attraction to my date. I’m hoping for that to happen on my future dates. I really like this program. They’re true to their word and I believe that I will meet the type of gentleman that I am hoping to meet.

I lucked up. Connected to a new matchmaker, Udonna only after I had not heard from a manager who was to call me 90 days ago. Udonna respected my desire to date someone who looks like me. Udonna’s patience; willingness to find a match in the Baltimore area has given me new hope. I look forward to her future matches.

I just started with the program but I have to say my first impression was very good. Both Mellissa and Obed were very friendly and easy to talk to. Their excitement and optimism at finding a match for me gave me a lot of hope.

I have been working with Vanessa. She is attentive and genuinely interested in helping me find the right match. She seems to have a legitimate process for finding quality dates which is reassuring. Melissa also has a great sense of humor so she is a pleasure to work with!

I was first interviewed on FaceTime with Mel and that went very well and she seemed to understand my specifications. I am now working with Ana who is so enthusiastic and very easy to talk to. I think they are both very well qualified for this position with IJL.

Working with Obed has been awesome. He listens and cater my dates to my busy life. The matches IJL has introduce to me to have shared the same core values I have about life. My time has been very fun and exciting experience. The location for dates has been great also. They are very private and laid back environments.

I’ve really enjoyed my curated dating experience with IJL. It’s great to meet other like minded professionals, plus the IJL experience takes the leg work out of using an app or being picked up at a bar...or goodness forbid your well meaning friend. It’s a great experience for busy professionals. Plus the entire team is very professional and takes great care to ensure that they find a great match for you.

Don't waste your money. They barely have any clients anymore so they are struggling to find matches for people. You will get offered matches who don't have your must-haves. Except IJL won't tell you the truth about your match, and you will only find out that they don't meet your basic requirements when you are on your date! Note that they have a shortage of male matches in NYC which is supposed to be one of their primary markets. Save your money, you are much better off using regular online dating.

I began this process about for five months ago with It’s Just Lunch. I was lucky enough to receive Sheri as my matchmaker. She’s been very patient with me, I have a very hectic job and I’ve had some life situations that I’ve made it pretty impossible to set up dates. Do not pay for this service. No real database of men. No quality men. Matchmaking means they cruise other sites. They Do not match you based on appearance interests and age. Unprofessional staff. One issue after the next as soon as I signed up - I didn’t like my first match after one day of joining no less lol and they said, "Well it counts as your date." Utterly ridiculous. The guys they have you will do better on Bumble or Match.

Vanessa has been so amazing! I entered this process cautious but optimistic. Vanessa helped remind me that I deserve someone great and assured me that she would find him for me. I have been on one date so far and it was lovely. Vanessa set me up with a man who was so attractive and funny and charming and charismatic. I told Vanessa it was the first time in a great while that I was excited about a date and I couldn't wait for the next one. Vanessa reminded me to keep my head up and there were great things ahead. I am very excited to see what amazing date Vanessa finds for me next.

Vanessa has called and worked hard for me. I found her to be very communicative and nice. She took the extra step that wasn't taken by previous people in her position. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be an inventory of potential matches close to where I live. Vanessa is great but I think most people are using less costly alternatives of online dating.

Lisa is wonderful and nice. I joined and have met some very nice ladies in the past 3 months. Hopefully will meet "The One" soon! The people who use this company have an investment in the group so it's a more goal oriented group of people.

Sheri has been a great matchmaker. She is very understanding and honest. I'm still new to dating, but My fist match with her was very good, I hope it works out. She has stayed on top of me, which is what I need and I'm grateful for all the help.

I had a great time on my date. It was fun and exciting thanks again. I am looking forward to my next date and having fun. I just wished that the girl that I went on the date with new I had kids but other than that we hit it off great. But kids were a deal breaker with her. I am finally interested, willing and able to date and meet quality men. Having spent significant wasted time on regular online dating, I am hopeful to meet my match on IJL. Obed has been an excellent representative of IJL. He is always upbeat and cordial when calling or sending emails. He calls and informs me of the details about my dates and scheduled dinners. He also calls, in case of changes with my date, in a very timely manner. Obed does a great job of matching me with dates who have similar likes and backgrounds. Obed is an asset to IJL.

I am currently dating my 3rd match with IJL. The first two gentlemen although very nice, were just not what I was looking for in a match. The third match was a charm indeed, and after two months we are still enjoying one another's company. I am grateful to Mel for hanging in there with me and always being positive with her attitude. Ana is working with me as well, and as things are going well with Match 3, I am on hold for now.

Amy is working hard to find me the right match. Amy’s personality is fun, compassionate, and caring in nature. A bit of humor is there also. I enjoy our conversations. IJL is a far better service than the dating apps. So far the quality of potential companions has been good. Still looking for the right match and know it will take time. I would recommend Amy to any future IJL clients.

I paid for the service and I had hoped it would be a big help in finding a match. The service is a scam and don’t waste your money. I was given one date and one photo in 6 months. No one has contacted me since. This was such a waste of money and my expectations were very very high after talking to their Vice President, however everything she said didn’t happen. There were no men in my age range at all. 6 months later I’m still waiting. What a joke. Check out the class action suit online... Unfortunately when I found out they were being sued it was too late. They over promise and under deliver. After 3 matchmakers later I have given up. This company is untruthful and puts in a good face and lets you believe they will find you matches. Buyer beware... It’s a scam.

I am in my seventh decade on this earth so I was not confident there would be many potential matches in my age group. However, since becoming an IJL client a few months ago, I have been presented with more than one match, all of whom are intelligent, personable women with a good heart. I have shared my positive IJL experiences with many of my friends.

I cannot say much about my experience with IJL since I haven’t yet gone on many dates. I can say the team/matchmaker has been very helpful & dedicated to finding me the best match. Sheri has worked hard by following up with me & making all go smooth.

Obed, my matchmaker, has done a good job looking for matches for me. He takes my feedback to heart and diligently tries to find men that meet my criteria. Obed is responsive and good with following up as well. Overall, I would I have had a positive experience working with Obed, although I have not met a long term match.

She is always there when I need to speak with and is very patient and persistent since I am not always easy to get in touch with. I like the screening from IJL. It's awkward to jump back in the game but Debbie has been amazing! Guiding me along this path. She is straightforward and transparent, very refreshing. I have been found the process not as painful because of her experience.

I have had an overall positive experience with Mel and IJL. Although I have yet to find an ongoing match, it is still early in the process. I am hopeful and confident in Mel and the IJL teams' efforts and trust that success is just around the corner. I would like to see more insight into the matchmaking process to better understand how it works and see where coordination might yield better matches in the future.

Total SCAM. After a tough break up I signed up with It’s Just Lunch thinking it was the Boston firm called Just lunch. When asking if this was the Boston firm Just Lunch...I got, "Oh ya we have offices in Boston." Sales consultant Eva was very good selling company bullets, "We have 30,000 clients, we have 150 marriages a year... We have personal matchmakers that will stay with you, organize dates and meetings along the way, your personal wingman." All B.S. As soon as they withdrew $3000. from my account they take their sweet time to start process.

I was very pleased with my first date. He was attractive, and easy to talk to. We had a few things in common and I discovered that we lived in the same county. I expect to hear from him again. I was pleasantly surprised that my Matchmaker did such a good job the first time out of the gate. Can't wait for my next match,

I just joined IJL a few weeks ago after finally having enough with the dating apps and dating sites. Sherie took the time to get to know me on more than occasion to make sure my first date would be someone I can connect with and ideally go on more than just one date. Well, my first date ever happened the other day and Sherie knocked it out the park. The flow and feel of the entire date was amazing and it shows Sherie really pays attention and is selective about who she pairs people with. Very happy with my experience and looking forward to a second date with the woman Sherie set me up with.

I could not ask anymore from Jake. He's been great. Always gets back to me. I don't think it's possible for a guy to work harder than what he has. I didn't have the best first impression from IJL before I started working with Jake. But since working with Jake I couldn't be happier.

My matchmaker, Sheri, was pleasant and helpful, But, overall I found the experience quite disappointing. The agency doesn't gather interesting information or learn enough about the clients to effectively be able to match us. It doesn't appear they understand the New York market - why somebody from NJ wouldn't want to come into NYC after work for a drink. Or, why a Westchester person going to mid-town on the east side for a lunch date isn't the most convenient. Additionally, it takes weeks to set up a date. The process seems to be quite time consuming for no apparent reason. I'm going back to online dating - I never thought I'd be happy to say that.

I am very happy with the service. Sheri is very nice, professional and “skilled “ in finding matches for me. I think she already knows what I am looking for and she is actively seeking the right partner for me. I highly recommend Sheri as your matchmaker. Thank you.

Sheri really paid attention to what I was looking for in a woman. The first woman was nice but no chemistry. The second woman has been great so far. We definitely have a lot in common and nice chemistry. I would highly recommend Sheri.

So far so good as far as the experience of dating goes. As a busy person, it is very helpful to have help in finding eligible partners. It works well for me to have the dates scheduled. I haven’t found the right person yet but it has been much better than I was doing on my own!

My experience with It’s Just Lunch is definitely five stars????. This is due to my excellent matchmaker! Obed is a warm and caring person who takes the time to really listen to his clients. His matches are very well thought out. Because of Obed, it was very easy to converse with dates since we had so much in common!! Also, Obed is always available and ready to answer any questions. If he is on the phone, he calls right back :). Again, I am so happy with IJL and the help of my super matchmaker Obed!

I haven't been working with my matchmaker for too long but he is a professional, he is very responsive and listens to what I'm looking for. I've only had 3 dates so far but each date is getting better so it seems like we are on the right track.

On Oct 30 I signed up with IJL, I thought it was a good way to meet good, interesting and serious matches. I had my first interview with Kristina, it seemed they had a bunch of matches for me. I live in Ft Laud, I accepted to date people between Hollywood and Boca initially. I made it very clear that I was interested in guys close to my age, tall and athletic. I'm 58. Already during the interview she suggested a super athletic guy 72 y old. I denied.

I have not had too much experience with IJL yet, since I just began service (only been on 3 dates). My agent, Debbie has been great, has communicated well and promptly. I guess I just don't understand the process very well for matching assessment, and feel there was not enough questions/surveying clients in order to get to know us better to lead to a better match. But I maybe that will come with more time.

I have only been a client for two months And I have not yet discussed this with my matchmaker. I really enjoy working with her. I have only gone on two dates, I thought I have more options. The locations and the assigned times have not been optimal for me. I understand and do appreciate the privacy policy. I would like some feedback on what my dates thought of me or why they did not ever call me, without this I do not know how to go forward with this experience.

I'm based in Memphis but UDonna & her team introduced me to matches both in the city where I primarily live and other places where I do business. They recently introduced me to someone I would not have met without their help. I really appreciate them keeping my interests in mind. Just wanted to share my thoughts about Udonna’s help in finding a date for me in December 2019. 1.) Udonna did an excellent job in asking me any additional details that I would like in my date. 2.) After carefully analyzing my needs, she set-up an excellent date with this lady whom I met in Dec 2019. 3.) This was my best date so far. I am glad that am working with Udonna who truly with genuine interest asks questions and ensures that the person is a good match or not. 4.) She is awesome in Matchmaking. Kudos and thanks to her. I would not recommend this service. You are duped into thinking they have several matches lined up (I was even given a number. 10), however they really do not have anyone lined up. Also, I have had SERIOUS trouble with reliability of getting emailed or called back. My initial profile had to be edited even after a thorough interview because it contained lots of incorrect information.

I would like to say that LaDonna was very professional in her demeanor and yet courteous in particular to her suggestions. To me that's what stood out, along with her insight into dating, especially for the person who had not done so in 50 years! She translated my desires and interpreted my actions and thinking in such a way that you could say that prior to this I Learned that I had a lot to relearn and that the date I had was much better than I realized and that I was starting out on the wrong Foot, when it comes to today's dating! Thank you for the efforts to match me with the right person. The experience is good as I meet nice persons. To this point the matchmakers are very open and honest. For me it didn't help that I went through 3 matchmakers in a short period of time. That said they have been very nice to me and I appreciate it.

Sheri is a wonderful match maker to work with. She is diligent, efficient and wastes no time on beating around the bush. She comes up with the most suitable alternates without excessive discussions. She is very intuitive which is a great strength for her profession.

I want to warn others before spending money on this company to think it over wisely because I debated a long time before I signed up with them after I went through a divorce! The agent I talked to was very outgoing and promised I’d be matched I believe it was 2 times a month and that yes the matches would be in detail as I described in searching for a soulmate! After talking with her (the matchmaker) for a few times her words painted a pretty picture in my mind of how nice it would be to be with a loved one that fit my desired description etc! I finally signed up and paid them 2400.00 and I told them I’m more concerned about having a match as I described rather than a quick fast match and waste the matches' time and mine and theirs!

My first date out of the gate and I'm already putting a hold on my account for him, Doug. This tells me that Liz was a great listener and matched me up with what I requested out of a partner. Doug and I are two peas-in-a-pod and have nearly everything in common. It's pretty amazing!! Thank you, Liz for being the best Wing-Woman, ever!!
