My Matchmaker, Obed, has been very responsive. He is a good reflective listener so I feel that he has heard what I have said when I gave him feedback. He was very prompt to respond this morning after my date last night.

I have been pleased with the individuals I have dealt with from It's Just Lunch. They seem to be efficient and a professional organization. From the start they are Not too pushy. They are happy to answer any questions. So far I have worked with the Dating Specialist, (Jessica) Dating Coordinator (Kim), Darryl (set up the skype appt.) and Dating Matchmaker (Debbie). I'm looking forward to my first date! I hope to have a Success Story to tell. Thank you!

IJL has taken my money and not provided any service. They rush you into signing a contract and then fail to do anything. My bank knew exactly why I was calling when doing a chargeback. That's why IJL moved to Florida, locks in their contracts so they are free to take your money. Stay away at all costs. Consistent lies.

This is technically my third time working with IJL and has been the best experience so far. My first time I was in eastern Iowa which was a new market for IJL. All but one match that IJL picked was bad. Almost like my IJL contact didn't read my feedback. The one decent match lived 90 miles away. The second time IJL contacted me with women that I was a match for. One of the four was great, but she ended up being too busy to go any further than a third date. Two of the other three matches were pretty bad.

I have only had 2 dates set up since I joined. Before I signed up I wish I knew how IJL took many weeks to months to set up. I had the impression of having a date 2-4 times a month. Not 1 every other month. I also wish that more information was given about the date. Everyone at the company are nice and helpful.

There was some confusion regarding the starting time for my appointment, but Andrea was kind enough to call me on my cell-phone to ensure we were able to connect, (the added customer focus was worth a star for me). The rest of the interview went pretty much as I expected, and much of the time was spent validating answers I had given during my original phone interview with IJL.

Both Udonna and Tameka are professionals that listen and take time to care and make it happen. They seem passionate about their work and jobs and are always quick to respond. I would recommend them to others and have.

Brandis has been very professional in the whole process. She makes sure she finds the best matches for me. She is very good with follow up and gets very excited when she hears that the date was a success. I look forward to more dates from her. My last date was a success.

The It's Just Lunch Team is exceptional when it comes to communication and customer service for their clients. They are extremely hands-on and their follow up is extraordinary. This group of team members are very thorough in their research and try to accommodate the client's needs and desires. This is truly high quality customer service.

This is from a male perspective, women using the service may have a different experience. I’ve found the office staff doesn’t listen and is pushy. They also seem to prefer quantity over quality. I gave an age range and wanted a woman without kids. They’ve set me up with women nearly a decade outside of my range with kids. I can’t make it downtown during the week. They keep trying to send me downtown. To make it convenient for both, I’m willing to meet in in the middle of where we both live. I’ve driven an hour to meet someone 5 minutes from her house. During the week I can only meet for dinner dates. The women need to be made aware of this and eat something. It’s awkward when your date arrives after she has eaten, and I haven’t had anything since lunch. I do offer to split appetizers, but they need to be made aware that it’s a “dinner date”.

I have been very impressed with the professionalism and care the IJL team and my match maker Debbie have shown from the start. The team clearly cares about providing quality matches and great experiences. Debbie has been very responsive to all questions, dating reservations, etc. which I have greatly appreciated. It really is a VIP type of service mentality which has been so nice for a busy professional. Unfortunately I am located outside of the main "hubs", but have been very pleased with Debbie's assistance and efforts to try and accommodate the distance for me to drive. I would say that distance can be a challenge, but if you are serious and outside of a main hub the team works hard to reduce that challenge. If you've tried online dating and are looking for more of the "VIP" experience to help you in finding better matches I highly recommend IJL.

I joined on July 14 after a 2+ hour hard sell conversation that I asked to think about but the sales rep kept talking so I signed but never got to see the contract until the next day when it was emailed to me. I decided to continue and figured it was an investment and anyone that pays $** must be serious so I had high hopes. And I really liked the idea of the coaching. It has been over a month and they sent me one "match" who was nothing like what I was interested in so I declined to meet him. Since then it's been nothing AT ALL. It's like pulling teeth to get them to respond. I am lucky to hear from them once a week - and that is after I email a couple times asking if they are still there. All I hear is they are working on a match. It should not be that difficult if they have anyone in the database like they represented on the hard sell. I am successful, financially secure, attractive and fit.

I am new to IJL Columbus. The matchmaking staff has been excellent and responsive to my requests and giving me valuable feedback. It is nice to find a group that really cares. I look forward to finding a successful match in the near future.

Andréa was very positive and vibrant. She gave off good energy. She was friendly and kind. The time was taken to make sure that I received some friendly advice and direction. She even talked about the fact that she was on the website.

Aleisha has been a pleasure to work w/ & very professional. As a leadership coach I assist people w/ their emotional as well as practical development. Aleisha is great at active listening, turning information into effective matching. I have only had one date & if she was interested I would be beginning a relationship. I was very surprised the first shot worked.

I have had a good experience with It's Just Lunch. They try to listen to your feedback and take it into account with future matches. I like the fact that you have one point of contact when dealing with the company. Dating in the New York area is never easy but they do their best to make it fun.

My matchmaker Debbie does an incredibly thorough job of identifying great matches. She takes her time to make sure there is a potentially good fit for both parties. I recommend IJL to anyone in the Philadelphia area no matter what your relationship goals are.

The guy was very nice and I did enjoy my dinner. He was very familiar with this whole dating process. I was very surprised to find out that he was not a member of it It’s Just Lunch so that was kind of disappointing that here I am paying all this money yet someone else is getting to do it for free. That doesn’t really seem right. However in finding that out it was nice to know that It’s Just Lunch did check him out with a face-to-face interview and do a background check I am assuming with his driver's license. We didn’t exchange numbers and I will see if he calls. Definitely somebody I could be friends with.

I signed a contract for It's Just Lunch to provide me with 4 matches. I signed the contract in 2016. As of 2018 the service was not delivered. After a year of trying to get IJL to respond to requests for dates, I requested a refund of $500. I believe I paid approximately two thousand dollars for the service. I have no faith in them providing me a quality match after all the time. I have used the service two other times and was satisfied. This is so disappointing. Over the two years, I frequently had to contact them to get another match. My last match told me he was not an active member. The B.B.B. in Florida just informed today, IJL has an “F” rating. I am writing in hopes that other folks will not lose money on a service that does not deliver what it promises.

They make all these promises, and then go away. In the two months I had my "contract" with them, Monique contacted me exactly once, and only after I inquired where she was. She sent me only ONE date option. Mind you, I am a successful, attractive, financially secure woman who was just looking to expand some dating options. Elite Singles and Tinder is much better!!! And they refuse to refund my money.

It is horrible, at least for South Florida. They misrepresent everything, don't follow up, don't return calls, don't follow criteria for selection of matches. DON'T USE THIS HORRIBLE SERVICE. IT IS A RIP OFF.

I’ve enjoyed my experience and dealings with JFL - especially with Jas and Bianka. They’ve been responsive and excellent to work with. Jas is a good listener, easy to talk with, and provides good feedback to me on my expectations and other issues. Most importantly, I really appreciate that Jas is direct and honest in her feedback.

I have seen the profiles of four ladies. All were very interesting, with great backgrounds and careers. I have been on a first date with two and they were both very pleasant. I have a second date with one lady and another first date this weekend. So far this has been a great experience for me!

Like anything, it's an investment. Because you are spending lots of money, the other party is virtually guaranteed to be serious and committed. The only thing I would say is I've noticed that many of the people I'm meeting have degrees, and many in general won't date someone without a degree. I feel as if maybe the criteria could be improved or more forgiving. The dates, in my limited experience went well. Some more awkward at first than others.

I am a new client of IJL. My initial interview with Michelle went well and the experiences I've had thus far with my matchmaker, Pilar, have been positive. I really like how the company has built in safety measures (face-to-face interview and contracted restaurants/sites) and offers coaching sessions with a dating specialist. Sheri, who provided this service for me was great. I haven't dated in over 25 years, so getting back out there is a bit scary! I have been on 1 date and although my experience with IJL is limited, I feel I made the right choice utilizing their service.

So far my experience with It's Just Lunch has been great. Natalie, Alicia and Amy have been fantastic to work with and I enjoy talking to them. They all seem to have understood my personality and what I am looking for very quickly, without judgment. Thank you!

I have just started this process and, so far, so good. Everyone is happy and helpful. Lisa has been a great communicator, making the process go smoothly to this point. Looking forward to meeting Mr Right. One suggestion would be to add meeting locations west of Richmond.

Had hopes this would bring me the caliber of man I was looking for. Started out really excited but soon I found this organization to be completely dishonest. I was told the city I live in was a hub, but that was not the truth, the closest hub actually over an hour away. Also, was told there were several men that would be a great fit for me, but never had 1 date in my area. The client service was horrible. Hardly ever did they respond within the 24 hours window they claim they will respond. A couple of reps were rude to me when I had the nerve to call them out on it. Just a complete waste of time & money. I only had a few dates & I am not overweight or ugly so that is not the issue. Very frustrating experience with not 1 good thing to say about it now.

I am in the middle of an IJL subscription and I have been pleased with the experience so far. My matches are desirable and my matchmaker and team have been attentive. Based on my initial experience, I would be happy to recommend the service to others.

Briefly, I've had two dates set up by IJL. One on May 31, 2018 and the other on July 12, 2018. Thus far, I've met two people that I consider to be wonderful and of great quality. I look forward to meeting other Candidates SOON... THANKS!

I believe Obed has done a very good job in putting together potential matches. I appreciate the time he has taken and attention to detail. He has done an excellent job in listening to what I have to say and applying my requests.

I’ve had 3 matchmakers which is more than the number of dates I’ve had. The matches seem to take a very long time. Seems as if it is stretching out to keep you paying. It’s a great concept and I feel it has attracted a higher class of people. Maybe the system may Work better based on some type of commission than monthly for well let’s see what we have.

I’d like to mention the very good experiences that I’ve had with It’s Just lunch; and would like to mention my match-maker Monique by name. She’s representative of the highly perceptive nature of understanding personality types and then being able to find suitable partners for me to date. I’ve enjoyed each and every one of my dates and find that we had at least something in common to talk about. Understandably, not all of them turned out to be second dates but that’s the nature of dating. The backgrounds and interests matched and this was appreciable considering the poor matches I’ve had with a competing dating service. In the multi-ethnic character of our society it is often difficult to find others with shared interests or outlook. I treat Monique as a friend who reliably guides me thru an often daunting process to find a suitable partner.

Kimberli did so great! I had a really wonderful time on the first date that she set up for me. I can't say enough good things about my experience with IJL so far. The location was fantastic, and the man she chose for me was interesting, authentic, kind, and a great conversationalist. What a special evening!

The dating game has changed a great deal over the years. Everyone seems to be too busy talking on their cell phone/ looking at their cell phone APs that they don't notice the person in front of them. No one seems to have time to search for their perfect someone. It's Just Lunch is a great service because it allows people to do the looking for you. They set it up, you have a great time, and I am hoping for the right one to come along soon. Two dates so far and the service is concentrating hard on trying to find the right person for me. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I haven't found her yet. When it's a success I will find a way for the system to allow me to give TEN stars.

My recent match was very good: many things in common, for example, likes, interests, faith, both widows(ers) and top priorities matched well. Also pleased that Dating Director was willing to match me in near-by cities to increase the possibilities of a great match.

They have been great to deal with. They scheduled a date for me with a very pretty lady that I felt instantly comfortable with. They made dinner reservations and reminded me (not that I could forget) about my date and gave me the restaurant's contact info in case I would be running late. It couldn’t have been any easier. I’m glad I spent the time talking with them because they introduced me to someone that I’m interested in getting to know better.

When Kimberki and I first talked on the phone, I had various concerns about using It's Just Lunch. This was within my 3 day period of signing up and I had to address my concerns as I was considering cancelling your service. Kimberki was polite, firm and addressed ALL of my questions. We went on to have a successful phone conversation where she was able to discern my personality, and make choices that are a better fit for me.

Very timely intake and first date within days! Those helping were kind and understanding of my concerns. Thank you! Dating after a divorce is difficult and time consuming. It's Just Lunch makes the process easier since they do the work. It is nice to know they are for me!

My Dating Director set up the perfect date on only my second date! We have been together for 8-months and both have a amazing friendship along with an great relationship. The two of us would have never meet if it was not for IJL!

Had a date with Christine on 6-28-2018 set up by my matchmaker Aleisha and Ashley and it was a very good first experience. This was set up to be a nice easygoing encounter. I enjoyed Christine company and in general now appreciate the wonderful job and support I have been given by my expert matchmakers at It's Just Lunch!. Although this was my first official date I'm really looking to the next one.

Even after you tell them you met someone, you cancel your membership, tell them never to contact you again they still call you! They are extremely unprofessional and unorganized. Never give them any of your information.

The process is different then anything I’ve experienced before. That can be a good or bad thing. So far I’m enjoying the service and looking forward to meeting more new people. Thanks to the staff for explaining things when questions arise. Very responsive!!

I feel that Kimberli has done an excellent job interviewing me and consulting me for my matchmaking. She is thorough and clearly wants to help me be successful in my quest. I would recommend her to a friend. She is genuinely wanting me to find the right person for me.

My matchmaker, Obed, was great to work with. I already have a second date planned. Our first date was arranged at a great restaurant and at a good time of the day. My date was exactly what I expected and I was not disappointed.

I have gone on 7 dates. The first two were with very nice women who lived 1 to 1.5 hours away! That was ridiculous and I told the IJL people that I was "promised" by the sales person that there were plenty of eligible women in my city. They said, we can only provide dates in your "region," which could be who knows where. After telling them that NO, I will only date women who live within 30 minutes they got it straight for the most part. Every woman I went out with was very nice and in the ball park of what I was looking for. I've put my membership on hold so that I could continue dating one of my matches to see how it goes. So, with the caveat about location... I am quite satisfied with IJL.

First date went smoothly and IJL's match for me was surprisingly accurate to my desires. My matchmaker, Lisa, has been extremely helpful and kind through the whole process. Can't wait to see where this match may lead to in the future...

The lady matchmaker was professional. (However the coach did not call me on the date and time we agreed upon.) The restaurant was good. She found a decent match. It was my first experience. I am looking forward to more interesting lunches.

This is my first experience with IJL and I am blessed to have Kimberli and Tameka working as a team to help me meet my other half. Not worth it. Way too expensive. Very bad experience. On my flight back home from Arizona I saw an add about IJL on a magazine on the flight and I read it. On my experience and few other people that I know that have tried it, we have had a very bad experience with it. The reps are very imposing and they literally make your story to present to the person they want to set you up with. It was a nightmare, I didn't even recognize myself when they were trying to set me up with ** person. I would be like 'That is not what I do or like, or want'.

I have been impressed with the level of service I have received from the very beginning. And my first date met all of my criteria. My matchmaker has been amazing at listening to my wants and needs and is definitely on the right track. Who knows... maybe things will work out with Match #1 and no further assistance will be required.

IJL is a good program. Traveling as much as I do, it is a convenient way to meet people & get dates when I'm home. Also, one meets people from many different walks of life whom one would never meet any other way. Give it a try!

I've just started my second time with It's Just Lunch. I have been impressed with the engagement and passion of everyone I've interacted with especially my Match Maker, Aleisha, and her assistant, Ashley. Aleisha has been very responsive and picks up the phone in the late evenings when I expect most people have gone home. I am looking forward to meeting someone whom I may have not met without this service.

I paid $2,700.00 for a bunch of disappointment. I was over-promised by bullshitting staff and then went on time wasting dates. Do not waste your time and money with this dating organization. Go to Match.com. For $77.00 get pictures and avoid disappointing blind dates where you want to leave as soon as you meet your date. Yes, it's that bad!

I have been on one date with IJL. The woman was smart and educated. I focus on the experience of finding love and a new relationship. I sometimes feel some women don't do that because they don't give love time. It's unfortunately true I think. Anyways I love the dates so far and hopefully next one is a relationship.

I'm happily satisfied with Pilar and the matching service she has provided. Pilar is always polite, energetic and listens to my feedback. I look forward to going out on more dates. I would like to have more options on where we meet.

This was my third date and it was a much better match. It didn't lead to exchange of phone numbers but we had a pleasant lunch and found much to talk about. While the first 2 dates seemed to be just men who were available, this 3rd go around was someone who I could relate to better. My biggest request from the very beginning has been a man who lives out his Christian faith everyday. While Sean doesn't do that, he at least was very much a gentleman and interested in having a nice time. Lisa did honor my request to move the meeting location to a general area that works better so the drive would be reasonable. The restaurant was very nice.

I want to talk a little bit about It's Just Lunch and my dating experiences in the Harrisburg and Pittsburgh areas. OBET has been my dating coordinator and he has provided me with a very nice selection of ladies who I have went on 2 dates with and the staff at it's just lunch has been very professional. They listen to my criteria and try to find me the best suited matches to date. I want to thank it's just lunch for riding this opportunity and service.

I appreciate all of the helpful support I have received from Aleisha and Ashley. Aleisha is a very pleasant person to work with and responds in a timely fashion. I get the sense that she attentively looks out for all of her clients.

The process so far has been super easy and smooth. I've only had one date so far but I'm excited for more to come. I also like how we have to give feedback after the date because it helps to fine tune the matches. Even though you don't meet your matchmaker in person they ask you full detailed questions to really get to know, which I really liked.

My experience with It's Just Lunch was really positive. The service was prompted and insightful. I liked that they were legitimately invested in how the dates went, that they provided valid, insightful advice and that they were willing to make time to talk and redefine what I was looking for. I overall experience taught me a lot about myself, dating, and the type of person that I am looking for.

Kim gave me excellent advice on how to handle a guy when he says he'll try to get a hold of me instead of asking me for my telephone number. Instead of keeping me waiting when a guy flakes out on me or takes too long to decide when he'll meet me and etc., Kim will hook me up with a new guy right away and I really like that. I also would really like to get to know Tameka better, because she seems like a very friendly person.

Obed helped me to meet someone I am interested in continuing to date and to get to know. So far, it looks like a very nice fit. IJL is so simple, hassle free and refreshing after having tried online dating which is exhausting, very time consuming and often a bunch of demoralizing game playing. Here you meet people who, even if they are not a good match for you, are at least seriously interested in finding that special someone.

So far, so good, I've only met up with one match, but she was pretty wonderful so I do trust the judgement of the people making the decisions. I do hope that they continue to find high quality dates for me as we move forward together.

The helpful staff at IJL has made getting back into dating, easy and fun! I’ve appreciated the personable guidance and my first date worked out fantastically. The venue selected was quaint and eclectic and my date for the evening was charming, pretty and so much fun to talk with. What more can you ask for?

I have enjoyed this process so far on IJL. My first date was a pleasant surprise and we will go out again. The Dating Coordinators give you good advice and guide you through the upcoming date. They send you photos and information on a match then ask if you are interested. They then confirm a date, time and place and even make reservations for you. They also give you a reminder call and email. I was impressed with how quickly they followed up with you after the date to make sure all went smoothly, to get your thoughts on the match and to see what your next steps were regarding the match. It is also great to not have to deal with millions of texts, emails, sift through profiles on your own and I find it time consuming. I enjoy having someone else's perspective on who they see me dating. This is definitely a refreshing new approach to dating!

What I like is that as opposed to dating websites, I can fast track the process to going on a first date, rather than having to do a lot of work before getting a woman to be interested in going on a first date or starting communication with me. Which is good for me because I have a limited amount of free time. Only complaints are that it took a long time, several months before I was on my first date. Also my first dating director, Kimberly was unresponsive to my e-mails and calls.

I’m a 59 year old male looking for a serious relationship. It's Just Lunch set me up with a very beautiful women in great shape and very professional. The reason I only gave 4 stars is the location Central Park South is very hard to get to and not a comfortable atmosphere. The beautiful women I met never return my two messages. I’m thinking of trying again.

Amazing experience with my amazing matchmaker Sally **. She takes her time to understand what I am looking for in a relationship. Also, communication is a key and she always does, she nailed it. Working with Sally is all about her client!

When I first signed up for It's Just Lunch the person I spoke to was very welcoming and customer centric. Through our conversation she reeled me in with comments like, "Paul is great for you" or possibly "Tom is good for you". She would make comments like that through the conversation making me think we already had desirable matches. I fell for that. I’m really frustrated. I’ve seen one match and only because I complained do I feel that this match came through. This person had not one trait that I have been looking for in an individual. I would really like to get a refund and money on. I’m very disappointed because I thought this was my chance to find a really good match.

I had a wonderful experience on my first date. The professionalism of this company is commendable. The follow-up was within 24 hours of my date. I felt the feedback questions were pointed and well thought out. I am looking forward to another wonderful experience.

I signed up with IJL in 2017 and dropped $** on the fantasy that was sold to me: I was a beautiful souled person who only needed to meet the amazing, handsome, and educated men that resided only in the IJL database. In 12 months, I went on 3 dates, each impressively bad in regards to the characteristics that I was looking for in a match. My conclusions from my experience: there are very very few men in the databases (I live in LA), they are charged less to be members, if they aren't "recruited" and put on dates for free. The matchmakers are working with such a limited pool that the young Hollywood "director" who was leaving the next day for Hawaii indefinitely must have seemed like a great choice for me. I don't blame the matchmakers.

Have had some nice dates. Not as many as I would have liked. Started in January and have had 3 dates. Most have lived far away from me, 35 miles or more, 1 date 50 miles. But I like that they set up the dates in a neutral safe setting and I have enjoyed my dates.

IJL set me up with a wonderful match. Unfortunately, for whatever reason it didn't work out, but that was not IJL's fault. However, they did not provide the medical disclosure which I wrote to them, which potentially could have helped the situation.

I got very tired of sites like Match.com etc. When I first tried IJL I was very skeptical of the service but as time went on I can see why they have been in business so long. My dating director Aleisha was fantastic and I would highly recommend her. After only 2 dates I found the perfect match for me and I have high hopes this the one. My advice would be patience and trust the process.

When I was signing up I was told about potential matches already available. Things have gone slower than I expected based on those early conversations. I still like the idea of IJL but I’m not convinced yet of my overall satisfaction.

I paid the premium which is not a small amount. I went on 1 date who did not match my must have. I then met someone on Match.com that lasted almost 6 months. When I went back to It's Just Lunch! I was a few days late. It was sorry!!! They were paid over $** For 1 date that wasn't a match. I understand agreements but they could have stuck to their end. I feel this company takes your money and is not really invested in happy clients. Buyer beware.

I worked with It's Just Lunch over the past 10 months (yes, it took 10 months to get me on 4 dates). The crew at IJL was very polite and professional. The rep assigned to me always listened intently to my feedback and worked hard. There were two issues with my experience: 1) Nashville is a HORRIBLE city for dating in your 30's and it seemed to carry over into the IJL experience. The pool of candidates for a picky, late 30's male is extremely small. 2) The one thing I did not like about IJL, and it's significant, is the women I went on dates with were not paying members and knew very little about me, if anything at all. Seeing as I paid a lot of money for the service, it made me feel kind of like a John and put the women (who were outstanding) in an awkward spot. (Dave Matthews says, "You pay for what you get", ha!)

She (Joan) is attractive, smart, and has a good career. I would like to see her again, but... the other three women I met through IJL were lacking personality and warmth. Unless something really positive happens, I have no plans to renew with IJL.

I am dissatisfied with this service for the fact that it took forever, there wasn't a ton of communication at first, and the quality of my matches was very poor. I will not be renewing because it's a very expensive membership to not have yielded results. I went on one date and he was really nice but he was outside of a few crucial points I had set in my preferences. I just feel like I spent a lot of money and had nothing to show for it because the talent pool was not vast enough.

It's too early to give a nice review. But everybody there has been really nice and listen to what I want. I don't know what will happen but I'm hoping that I meet the right one and who knows it's exciting.

In addition I felt I wasted my money The restrictive policy regarding New York vs New Jersey and Long Island was one person per fee very expensive and does not allow one to find a good match. Recently, I began seeing It's Just Lunch (IJL) advertising on Fox news. Since I am on vacation and have some time, I decided to share my extremely unsatisfactory experience by writing this review expressing my contempt for this deceptive company; hoping to spare potential future victims. Around 5 years ago, I wish someone would have shared IJL's business model with me so that now I wouldn't be out $** which I may as well have flushed down the toilet. My blood boils every time I am exposed to their deceptive ads; which I know first hand are lies intended to lure you in and rip you off. IJL's prey are busy professional singles with money to spend and willing to take a chance on a company with crafty, well targeted seemingly sincere advertising commercials.

I have recently begun my second endeavor with It's Just Lunch in Dallas and am thrilled with my experience thus far. Debbie takes her time to discuss both my goals and each opportunity with me. She couldn't be more attentive and open to feedback on matches as well. All of my dates have been excellent and I look forward to continuing the process.

I found the experience acceptable in terms of meeting a couple of nice guys and getting me back "out there", but I was not attracted to either of them and did not think we had much in common. I was also disappointed that my first date was with someone who was separated (not actually divorced, and only for 3 months at that). That was not made clear in the profile I read prior to our date. In my interview I specifically stated that I was not at all comfortable dating a guy who is separated. In that sense I feel that the first date was a waste of a lot of time and money. I am taking a break from IJL for the summer, but I would consider trying it again in the future.

This experience was the worst I've ever had with any company. After one date and almost no communication (once every 2-3 months on a six month contract) they would not refund any of my money. When I pressed for more options I was shown more people outside my criteria. I consider this a scam.

This should have been a question then answer forum & instead it was me fighting to get a word in edgewise. She talked too much period. Please take this seriously if you are considering IJT. I read some awful reviews and thought maybe it was just single, lonely, angry people who were upset because they were still single and the service didn't work out. This is NOT the case. This company IS VERY UNETHICAL and everything mentioned in all the reviews, I experienced myself. I am by no means desperate, but was looking for another way to meet and date other business professionals. I'm sure if you're reading this you also know that online dating can be... crazy and exhausting. So I contacted IJT and inquired about signing up. They were very nice and took the time to get to know me, but they are really good at getting you to provide your credit information fast.

My date with James was very nice. The location was great. We talked a lot and enjoyed talking. There didn’t seem to be an awkward conversation or moment. At the end of the night we went our separate ways. No phone numbers were exchanged. Everyone with It’s Just Lunch has been very responsive and nice and constantly emailing and following up. It’s so far been a pleasant experience.

I enrolled in their $** plan while I was in Orlando. At the time I knew I was moving to the Tallahassee area and was assured that they were statewide. After one match in Orlando I moved. When I tried to get a match in North Florida I was informed that they didn't have a presence North of Orlando and I was now out of the jurisdiction. No refund of any part of my money was possible. Now they're calling and emailing me again. A new person each time. They want me to pay again and re-enroll. Not likely. There are thousands of complaints online about them now. I wish I would have discovered that before I wasted my money with them.

I am so happy with my decision to sign up for IJL. Kim has been such an amazing help to me. She has listened to my feelings and we have had great conversations about what I am looking for. I’ve had my first date last weekend and already have a second date lined up! So happy to be working with Kim.

Please do your due diligence and hopefully you won't give them your hard earned money. I wish I had done my homework before I signed up. Though I realize that lawsuits don't necessarily mean anything regarding fault, a successful class action suit, and ongoing claims are not things to turn a blind eye to. My experience has been awful like many others. The first date was NOTHING I had asked for. He actually was not a paying member and they had not been in contact with him in years. Upon digging him up from the archives, they failed to inquire if anything had changed with him. Plenty had, which made him a less than ideal candidate for me based on what I'd told them I was looking for. I was incensed and told them as much on the post date review.

I found it perplexing that my matches started being selected before I had my Skype session. My Skype session with Sheri had a lot of questions I wasn't previously asked that would've helped in my match selection. The first two matches were men that had a couple of deal breakers in it that I had said. When I called Donna she was helpful in selecting someone that I really liked. I think you should go through all the interviews before they select a match to ensure they're really getting what you want. The date was excellent though. Sheri's dating tips had me feeling very confident and it helped me have a better date than I've had in years. I hope we get to see each other again, but if not I was happy for the experience.

It was bumpy when I started with IJL, after switching to new consultant, Obed, it’s much easier to communicate with him and feel more comfortable to open up myself and tell him the pros and cons from my dating experience.
