I spoke with Sheri on Monday via FaceTime. We reviewed the type of person I was looking for, and I was able to ask some questions as to dating protocol. Sheri asked me questions on how I would handle different situations. She was very helpful.

I have been a member for almost four years and I was promised 14 dates, still have 1 to go. I have been bounced around different dating directors and most are clueless of the location where I am and the differences between distances in my area and that the point is not just connecting people at random to meet for a drink. I must stress that my most recent dating director Kandace, however, matched me with someone really nice and she really paid attention to what would be a good match personality wise, etc. However, the logistics of his life and mine b/c of the distance would be impossible. That said, I had a nice dinner and I didn't mind meeting him.

I am having a good experience so far with It's Just Lunch. I feel I am meeting quality worthwhile people which is at least part of the reason I signed up in the first place. Before I signed up with IJL I have tried many other dating sites with little to no success. It was almost like having a full-time job going through all the online profiles and sending out emails. You would never know if the girl's profile was still active. When I did get a date the dates were usually horrible and a complete waste of my time. They seldom look like their profile pictures and most of time we had nothing in common. Being someone who has a very busy job and works long hours, I really didn't have time for it. I was about ready to give up on dating. I decided give IJL a try.

Kim and Megan both were complete in their assessment of my needs. Both were completely hospitable and recognized my needs right away after a serious of questions throughout the interview process for a match in my dating experience. I would recommend both Kim and Megan for new and exciting roles as dating consultants and I would welcome the opportunity to work with either one of them in the near future. Domonieq also share with me as well and she too played a fantastic role in my search for love. My first date was very exciting and I look forward to finding that special lady!!!

It's Just Lunch has been well worth my investment! I decided to give it a go once again as I had used the service in 2007. I paid for a 3-month membership. During that time I had 5 introductions. I have been impressed as the quality of the matching and the dates have been superb. I know that no one can guarantee finding a life love mate or love, but this process has been a lot of fun for me. I have met some great guys that I would not have otherwise met. I've had some very FUN dates and some of the introductions have turned into second and third dates!!!

Face to Face Dating season - I had a great time with Sheri, she seemed like a long lost friend. The session went quickly and efficiently. I can see why she has been doing it for so long.

I paid twenty-eight hundred dollars for this service back in March. I went on my first date this week in August. The date was with a man who was "not a member of IJL" and was "recruited" by them. This was revealed to me AFTER I complained about the quality of the date. The man was obviously not there to meet a potential match. He was there to fulfill an obligation (paid possibly?). The complaints I have about this organization are so numerous I can't list them all here. If you're considering this service, just don't. I can't believe they haven't been shut down. This is overt fraud. I've saved all email and voice messages from their employees which are examples of this company's unscrupulous and exploitative conduct.

I had a satisfactory experience with IJL. After going through several options with Vanessa, she really delivered. I don't what the future holds for my newly found friend, but I am hopeful. Thanks!

I inquired about this service in the beginning of June. Spoke to a sales rep who explained all the wonderful services provided for a fee of $850.00. I was told that there would be coaches and matches based on interviews. I asked what happens if I don't like the first date and was told we pick two matches to try. The same was told to my mom who also called to verify for me. I met with a counselor for twenty minutes after paying in June 24th.

Working with Aleisha is really working very well! She listens to what I ask and answers with well thought out decisions and comments! I really think she understands me and what I'm looking for so I think she will help me find my number one partner! Thanks Aleisha ** - you are wonderful!!

Although I am very social, I was able to learn about some of the nuances to communicating on date. She takes the time to understand your specific circumstances and adapts her coaching to your personality and needs.

Aleisha did a great job. It took a little time to find the right person to present to me. When she really went into detail, she put someone in front in me that fit. My first date with my new friend was a dinner date for 3 hours. And the conversation flowed and continues. I thank all for the diligent efforts. This may be a very happy ending.

I signed up with IJL in April and have been scheduled for 2 dates thus far. While neither has seemed to work out for varied reasons, I was pleased with the arrangements that were made by Vanessa ** and her assistants. The locations were within an acceptable distance, the restaurants were very nice (one was a local favorite of mine), the gentlemen were on time and each date lasted at least an hour. I strongly believe that the age and location is critical in what type of people you meet for a date; whether you are male or female. With this in mind, I feel the team is making every attempt at arranging as many appropriate dates as possible.

Both Ki Ki & Bianca are so professional & kind. I do believe that having a female dating coordinator will work in my best interest. The women understand more what I'm trying to convey about personality type, which for me... gotta have a fun, young at heart male friend/companion! And for me he has to have top-notch hygiene, take care of himself & be kissable eventually :) I feel that Ki Ki "gets this." AND she sent my date & me to an awesome place. On Tue, 4 Aug 2015 for 32 minutes, I had my first dating coaching session with Sheri. I can tell you with confidence that it was very informative and she was simply great! She was well aware of who I was which clearly showed that she is well prepared for her client. Her recommendations regarding various my questions were logical and well suited for my situation. Throughout the session, she displayed her active listening skills and showed willingness to go to an extra miles if the situation dictates. She kindly reminds me of her contact information for a follow up questions that could not be covered due to the time constraint. IJL is supposed to be a personalized dating service designed for professional single people. What they do is target people who can AFFORD their service, take your money, hold it hostage, and then NOT provide the services promised. The foundation of such a company is "communication" yet they fail time and time and time again to communicate. Their sales people LIE to reel you in, and once they have your money (all upfront) you never hear from that person again.

Sheri was very professional, but still sweet and gentle. She put me at ease with the process. My FaceTime settings were turned off on my phone, so Sheri had to call me first before we could do the interview. She went the extra mile to make sure we got the interview done.

I had my initial session with Sheri by Facetime yesterday. She was very upbeat and positive and made me feel welcome to the program. I look forward to actually having some substantive date comments to review with her.

Spherical led this morning on time and very professional and cheerful. She asked great questions and took a picture and checked my license. Sheri was also helpful about dating and first dates.

I have to admit that I haven't had the most positive experiences with IJL in the past and I had almost lost my faith in the process until Aleisha was assigned as my Dating Director. She promptly responded to an email that I sent to my previous IJL contact in July. Aleisha introduced herself and she has been proactive, engaging and incredibly supportive since our first communication. She took the time to get to know more about me and has been working to arrange lunch dates with gentleman that she feels as if would be a good match.

The kindly "matchmaker" had a sudden change and had me sign for cc payment, promising that the contract would be corrected and sent right away. (It was apparent that the saleswoman ran my zip code and I am paying much more than others because the average wealth is high in my community.) The contract was not at all in line with what I was promised. Was told I could refuse many profiles... ended up only 4 refusals EVEN IF the person does not even fit the description of what I was looking for!

Sheri made me feel very much at ease. A little about doing this but no am really looking forward to this and seeing it as a positive thing.

I called to find out pricing on It's Just Lunch and more. I got a lengthy sales pitch instead with the price thrown in at the end while asking for my cc. I bought into the process despite the obnoxious high pressure sales and gave my cc knowing there was a pending contract I had to sign with it. When reading the contract it did not at all align with what the sales rep had said. She continued to insist you would receive unlimited matches until you agreed on one you wanted to date. The contract limited matches to 8. I told the sales rep I would not sign. She continued to insist I was reading it wrong (it was stated very explicitly; not possible to misinterpret). She then insisted it's a non-issue because "they're so good at this." I said I again I would not sign (8 matches seems awfully light when you're talking about a price tag of $**!!).

My experience was excellent. Sheri was a good listener and gave suggestions/answers to my questions that I thought were very good and made perfect sense. It would be nice to have another time or two after the dates to ask new questions.

I did FaceTime while on the road. (Someone else was driving.) Was a great way to go. It saved me 4.5 hours driving to the original meeting location. The lady I did it with was very friendly. I’m writing a Complaint in regards to my recent experience with a dating company name IT’S JUST LUNCH. I sign up hoping to get myself out and start dating. They speak with me in regards to my types of female that I’m attractive too. I even email them pictures on what I like to see. I even ask them if I’m asking too much. Would it be hard for them to deliver what I’m looking for? I was told "No problem". My sales rep name is Amy **. I got a dating director which is my match maker and I ask him the same questions did I ask too much it’s possible and I was told “Yes, no problem. We can find the type of women that you are attractive too.” My dating director name is George **.

She asked several questions about my dating experience - what to wear depending on the occasion, what to discuss or not to discuss during a first date and just have fun. Some of the tips and guidance are common sense to me, however I did find other tips to be informative.

It's Just Lunch reels you in with promises of personalized matchmaking given by women with excellent sales skills. Your hopes are high as you hand over two grand. Then the first dating coordinator contacts you, and you feel so incredibly disappointed -- he's kind of like a distracted and gruff telemarketer. Then the next guy gets a hold of you, and he's kind of like a bill collector, shouting and pouting. Then the final guy has his phone call with you, he's like the old boyfriend that blames everything on you and calls you rude and disrespectful. Never mind that you are the one out $2,000 and expect pretty good service for $500 a date. I get better service from the guy who pumps my gas. This business is a bait and switch, a scam, a ripoff and there is a class action suit against them. I think there should be criminal charges brought against them.

I appreciated my interview with Sheri on many levels. First she kept to the promised 20 min length of phone call. Secondly, she asked pertinent questions as to what worked and not worked in the past. She took great care when asking sensitive questions which required me to reflect my flaws and vulnerabilities. The reflection made me more aware of what I needed to polish up on and what I definitely was and was not wanting in my next relationship. Sheri, thank you for your phone call, we shared some good laughs and I definitely prospered from your suggestions. Look forward to keeping in contact with you.

I joined It's Just Lunch in February of 2014. I was contacted by someone in California who sold me on the concept and I paid a lot of money for the contract. However, I was not satisfied with their services at all. The person that was assigned to me was rude, very defensive and set me up more than one time with gentlemen who didn't even fit my profile requirements. When I asked, I noticed that there must be a bigger pool of men vs. women as men would get set up far more times than I did. I was lucky to receive any word from them once every two months.

I signed up with It's Just Lunch dating service, gave them my credit card number (for an EXTRAORDINARY amount of money) and then completed all steps necessary to cancel my contract with them within a timely manner, maintaining proof of everything. The charge to the card occurred within minutes, but the refund of the same amount took over 6 weeks to complete (I am still waiting), even though the contract indicates they will refund the money within 10 days of cancellation. The employees do not answer their phones, do not return calls and blame you for anything/everything. I have never in my life dealt with such a scam, and given the price, you would expect a LOT better service. I would discourage even my worst ENEMY from signing up with this company, and I didn't even get to the dating part!

I am very satisfied with Alicia. During my time with IJL, Alicia has been very responsive to my concerns and needs. She has managed to find the perfect guys for me to enjoy lunch or dinner with. I would love to continue to work with Alicia because I feel that she will do her best to meet my needs.

Scheduling process was pretty smooth, we had a few back and forth emails because of availability (Sheri books up fast) but eventually got a date that worked for both of us. Sheri offered helpful advice that let me see some "blind spots" of my dating behavior. She also said she would forward me list of dating etiquettes, summary of our talk, and list of useful first date questions, which I look forward to receiving.

I have been communicating for a few months with Kim to find interesting, personalized, and fun matches. Kim provides great advice and guidance in this process. Working together, my matches have gotten better and I feel confident and comfortable that the dates will happen without a glitch.

It's obvious there is a shortage of men and this should be disclosed to your customers when they are considering to pay $** to join. It's only fair and there should be more restaurants that participate with JL - ones that have good food and not so pricey menus. I still break out in a sweat when I think of what I've paid to be a member...plus the $ spent eating out too. Sometimes I get the feeling that guys are being "picked out of a hat somewhere". And every date I have been on, they have told me that they got a call asking them to jump back in the pool, no charge. I think some of these men are not really looking for a relationship but just for a date. I'm not sold on your concept of matchmaking...not YET anyway.

This company is trying to take $** from my 77 yr old, widowed father who is missing his wife and wants to date. I get it, but he does not need to be paying $** and depleting his savings. When he called to cancel, he was given the guilt treatment of how he is going to hurt someone's feelings. This company is a scam to the elderly people. We are pursuing a lawsuit to get his refund. Thank God we found out about this BEFORE any services were provided. They should be ashamed for taking money from lonely, elderly people and make them believe that they are helping them. Beware to those of you who have elderly parents who recently lose their spouses. This company is preying on them like wild animals!

I signed a 6 month contract with IJL in September of 2015. I had a 3 dates in 2014 and have had really poor or non existent communication in 2015. My contract has now expired and feel IJL did not meet their obligations. Before signing contract I was assured that there was a pool of men in my area and they would have no problem finding matches for me.
