I am a 37 y/o professional and fairly attractive. I signed on with It's Just Lunch because I wanted a high end and private dating service that would search for matches specifically tailored for me. I spoke with Stacie - MA, IJL who convinced me that I was the right candidate and they could help me. I was assigned a dating director named Kiki ** who I was informed was unavailable to speak to me because she was out sick and would return the following day. This went on for several days after that. Bad first impression and poor customer service on their part.

IJL did a very good job of lining everything up and picking a good first date match. Thank you so much.

I have had a good experience working with Kimberli. She has been very understanding of my frustrations with not only the process, but the service I have received from other people on the team. She stepped in and took control of the situation and worked with me to resolve the negative experience from the past. Kimberli is very aggressive, to the point and honest and she works in your best interest. She partnered me with a very nice gentleman and we had a cordial and seamless first date.

Overall concept is great. However the dating director I've dealt with so far has not been that good. She forced a profile on me that I had said no to twice because it was not what I was looking for at all. Sheri - the dating coach was great though - she was very friendly and easy to talk to. Responses are very templated and do not make you feel like you're being treated uniquely. It has only been three weeks but I hope things improve as this is a large investment.

I am new to the service, having had 2 introductions. Although neither thus far has resulted in a second date I believe that Kimberli has done well with my matches.

First of all I'll give a brief background of myself, I am a Strategy Consultant working with Fortune 100 companies around the world. When I first visited this site I noticed all the 5 star reviews and great stories these people tell about It's Just Lunch. The fact of the matter is consumers do not write positive reviews when they have great experiences with companies, it's just in our nature. When we are happy with services as humans we tend to keep it to ourselves, however when we have terrible experiences with companies that is when we complain and turn to the web to write reviews. The number of positive reviews about It's Just Lunch should ring a huge alarm, it is most likely It's Just Lunch hired a PR firm to go out and write these reviews or is having employees write these positive reviews themselves.

I loved our conversation because I felt that Sheri was so honest and direct with me. I didn't feel as though she was "selling" herself or IJL. She was just telling the truth. Also thought that I was pretty good at meeting people for the first time. But Sheri brought up some new ideas/directions and I learned quite a few things. Thanks.

Working with Laguana and Meisha has been fine. They have set up 2 dates and both have gone well. The first guy was not for me and didn't meet the guidelines I had set; however, the second was great. They listened to my comments and tried to do a better job the second time. I enjoy working with them.

Shari was bright and pleasant. However, I was expecting a coaching session, but it was mainly just checking and confirming my likes and dislikes. We discussed a few things briefly, but it was more like an interview without any real coaching. I am concerned that I may only be booked one date per month, given the cost of the program. Finding myself in a place in life where I wanted to start dating again was a little daunting as best. I was looking for a way to date that did not rely on friends setting me up or the horrible club scene as that was and never will be for me. I had a pleasant FaceTime conversation with Sheri. She provided a few good dating tips which I appreciated. She was very pleasant and easy to talk to. I felt comfortable being vulnerable during our conversation because of her way. The areas of opportunity are that many of the questions from the pre-signing session were asked again and I was wondering why I was being asked the same things as before. Further, Sheri did not have info that I had gone on my first date and she had not received the pictures of the types of people I would be attracted to physically so I believe there is an opportunity to improve internal communication at IJL before the first session with clients so the time is spent on progress vs repeating parts of previous conversations. I am moderately happy so far. It is not a bad service however I do think that there are certain things that need to be improved. Client contact, personal and timely responses, and more matches sent per week. For the amount of money I have spent, I would have expected more matches sent my way. However I am only halfway through my subscription. So time will tell. I think 3 stars is fair.

Sheri did a great job. Answered all my questions. Gave good solid advice about how to handle the first date. Great advice about keeping it simple, casual, friendly without any pressure. Gave me the old navy officers wardroom rules: do not discuss sex, religion or politics, although she probably did not realize it. Gave great pointers on what to talk about, what to leave to 3rd or 4th date. Explained that lunch would be held in a city between my home and lady's. Discussed what to wear, being on time, being perfect gentleman, and then a couple of sheets of topics and opening comments. I have not done a "coffee date" since college, but she eased all my concerns to point. I look forward to starting the program.

So far so good, I'm still in the beginning process but I'm very impressed with process. It seems like a very well organized company and I'm hoping that the end result will go beyond my expectations.

I signed up in October of this year with a very bad experience with staff in Dallas till I had the pleasure of getting Andrea for my dating consultant. She is a very caring, loving, understanding, intelligent & professional. Now I will recommend It's Just Lunch to all my friends only because of Andrea. She listens to you & wants the best for you. She spent over 1 hour talking to me & assure me that she will match me with the right person. She is exceptional.

Heather was very nice, mature, sincere and tried to correct any inaccuracies in my dating profile/preferences. She's a warm, understanding rep.

Sheri did a beautiful job with the interview. She was warm and cheerful and had some good tips about dating. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I have really enjoyed working with Mike and Heather. They took an experience that may have been a little awkward and made me feel completely comfortable. Mike has been persistent and patient in his attempts to communicate with me and Heather was patient and kind while I overcame some technical issues. Although my dating journey has not yet begun, this process alone has been a lot of fun. I have a lot of confidence in my team.

My experience so far with IJL has been a great surprise and experience. Kiki and Onika have helped me a great deal in what to expect before, during and after my date. I feel very confident in their ability to match me with the right person. I like how they go into great detail on what to experience, which removes any concern or doubts going into the date. After months of being called about IJL superior service from Kambra, I agreed to give IJL a shot. I was assigned my dating director, Princess... We spoke for 30 mins and was matched. I've tried contacting Princess several time, left numerous messages and it wasn't until I told customer service I wanted to cancel my service, I finally got a call from my dating director. DO NOT waste your money.

Sheri was both very friendly and professional during the interview session. She asked the questions that will provide me with a better dating experience.

I was pushed into signing a contract with IJL. About 12 hours later, I sent them an email requesting a refund, as legally required. I also called the following business day. That was in late November and they refuse to give it to me. They say I have to go through an interview. I don't want an interview; I just want my money back. This is an unethical business that doesn't abide by the law or by it's own rules. Don't try this!!!

I've been a member in Dallas for 2 months and until recently have had such a bad experience that I consulted my attorney about getting a refund. The past associates lied to potential new customers and never cared about their clients. My experience has dramatically changed since Debbie in the Florida office has taken over my account. Though only one date has been met, she at least cares and listens to what her client's needs are and I'm looking forward to what the future brings. She's great.

Sheri was easy to talk to. She listened to my answers and gave helpful, insightful dating tips. I'd love to work with her again.
