Although I have yet to go out on a date, I just signed up at IJL and so far, all interactions with their Ft. Lauderdale based employees has been amazing. Started with Kristine who is wonderful, sincere & passionate. Then, George, my personal matchmaker who caught me off guard for being male, is easy to talk to and makes you feel very comfortable with the process and leaving dating in his hands. Finally, Heather, hands down the friendliest, coolest, & sweetest thus far. She handled my FaceTime interview & we laughed for at least 15 minutes! I'm excited to meet my matches and hope these experts help me find my life partner. So far, I'm feeling much better about all of this, thanks to the 3 aforementioned personalities.

IJL makes promises they cannot keep. Trying to get them to respond is harder than waiting around for the cable guy to come during the promised window of time. I was duped. They preyed on my hope. Please do research before you send a link to anyone saying this is a good idea. Save yourself money. You are worth more than they initially say you are until your money goes through and then they are as useful a room with no doors or windows. Just say "no". You are better off saving your money to spend on yourself having nice experiences, and not feeling ripped off when you get setup with a match worse than those in the speed dating montage of The 40 Year-Old Virgin.

I have not yet been on a date, but the process is moving along quickly. Heather and Kimberli have made an intimidating process feel safe and exciting. They communicate well and keep in touch. They real kind quickly and have an enthusiasm and encouraging attitude. So far, my experience with IJL has been excellent!

Coaching session with Sheri via Facetime was great. Sheri is very professional and helpful throughout the getting started membership process. I'm glad I took advantage of the session with Sheri today as I have no doubt it will benefit me in my search for my lifelong partner.

As having tried every other method of meeting someone, IJL comes the closest in connecting with real people in person; no more chatting for weeks on end or ghosting. Only real people and great conversation. I have high hopes!

Haven't met him yet, so will re-review after. Only wish they could tell me where "match" lives to make sure he is not "geographically undesirable."

Nothing really happened until Debbie took over as dating coordinator. Now thing are moving right along.

I signed up with this service Dec. 1, 2015. It has been 4 months and they have not been able to set up one match for me. I have asked several times for a refund and they refuse to do so. There have been many complaints with the Better Business Bureau in my area. I only wish I had checked there first before signing up. This has been a terrible experience. I would not recommend it to anyone.

I certainly enjoyed chatting with Sheri and I'm happy to have her as my dating coach! Sheri was very professional, upbeat and has a great personality as she made me feel at ease. I am really excited about this process and I feel confident to speak to Sheri if I need to in the future. With past dealings with online dating, it was a process that was very frustrating and I don't believe that will be the case with IJL! I had my FaceTime interview with Heather. She was very professional, polite, and answered my questions. I liked her right away. That being said, I haven't heard from my consultant since that interview. I guess I expected more regular communications. Anyone else feel that way?

I met John for dinner. It was a pleasant experience. The food and service was good. John was pleasant and carried on great conversation. I am traveling to Italy in October, he had visited a year ago. He shared many great experiences and tips for my trip. We did exchange information but did not plan a second date. I would go out with John again.

Yes, they interviewed me. Not one date met any of my requirements. The last date I went on was an admitted felon and drug addict. Not my type. Tried to talk to the company to improve things but they keep their door locked all the time. I can see why. Called many times and they were always unavailable to talk with me. This company is a scam. Do not go there. Anyone who tells you they had good luck did not deal with the Addison, Texas branch. And Addison is not the only problem branch. They are rude liars, thieves, and basically evil.

I have subscribed to the IJL service and have found it to be a legitimate service. My dating director Obed has been very professional and made good choices for me. Even when not pursuing a romantic relationship with a date, I have usually added another contact or friend and so I have not regretted any of the potential matches. I like the fact that they are set up so I don't have to do anything other than just show up and enjoy a meal or drink. It certainly takes a lot of the work out of dating.

If the system allowed me to give zero stars, I would have. I'm rapidly beginning to believe that "It's Just Lunch" is a scam. They interviewed me extensively and then failed to provide a date that was within my most important criteria. I thought they had sent three prospects, but in review, they simply re-sent the first one which I had previously rejected BECAUSE SHE DID NOT MEET MY BASIC CRITERIA. Then when I complained via email and asked to speak with a supervisor, the "manager" assigned to me called me and was defensive, rude, and condescending.

This service is bogus. I can't stress it enough. DO NOT pay for this. For the amount of money that this costs, you would expect the dating coordinators to get to know you... Instead you are constantly getting passed around to new ones. I was set up with people who do not meet my criteria at all and the others I had nothing in common with. I was even stood up multiple times.

I have not had much experience with IJL yet. The process just started a couple of weeks ago, but so far the people I have spoke with have been very nice and easy to talk to. I was involved in a Skype interview, it was easy to do. I know she was just trying to get to know me so I was myself and there was no awkwardness of any kind. I have had a few glitches initially and gave up on IJL. Since Bianka has been my dating director I feel that I am starting to see some good results. I did go on my first amazing date and can't wait for Bianka to set up my next match for me. I am starting to really feel comfortable with this.

I've worked with IJL previously, before taking a bit of a "hiatus" of sorts from serious dating. Now that I have re-upped with them and had my first date under my new membership, I think the new Private Search system has some real merit. You now receive a profile with a few photos so you have a better sense of the person you'll be meeting. My first match was a great choice: attractive, intelligent, humorous, down to earth, interesting and thoughtful with a lovable personality. Aleisha, Clarisy and Marilyn have all been very pleasant and enthusiastic to work with. They were truly interested in my feedback and the results of my date. I have talked with them in depth about my preferences, aspirations and what I look for in a mate. So far things have been good. I hope for even better as we proceed.

I really appreciate Bianka's upbeat attitude and concern for my satisfaction. I was unhappy with the proposed timing of my first date (too late in the day), and Bianka readily helped change the time.

I had a lovely coaching session with Sheri who was very upbeat and easy to talk to. I was initially apprehensive that the session would be very impersonal and cold like a job interview but it was not at all! I felt like I was having coffee with a friend – very comfortable. Her comments were insightful and helpful and I enjoyed the conversation.

I signed up with IJL in December and the initial sales person who convinced me to sign up was stellar. Since then, I have been on one date, stood up once, and received little or no feedback. The dating coordinators do not return phone calls, provide unprofessional advise that you do not expect from a service like this for the price, and let you know how unavailable and busy they are. Remember you pay upfront and you're at the mercy of them matching you with someone on their time and their convenience. The standard reason you will receive is "we are working so hard to match your expectations/profile". How convenient. There are many other options out there where you are more in control of the situation and not at the mercy of dating coordinators who out their personal needs ahead of yours.

I was a little nervous about exploring this new adventure, but Sheri was professional and so enthusiastic about me finding a match that she made it fun and exciting and I'm looking forward to meeting a wonderful gentleman picked just for me.

I've only had one match and he cancelled the date. No reason was provided to me. The coaching session wasn't very impressive -- nothing I couldn't have read online or figured out myself.

My experience so far with IJL has been good so far. I've not gone on a date yet but IJL staff has done a great job of getting to really know me.

I had my first face to face interview with Heather at IJL and it went well. We went over what I was looking for and some realistic expectations and what's coming next. Needless to say I'm excited about what they offer.

This is a good service, a little confusing at times but still nice. Letting the people at IJL handle everything saves me so much time. Debbie is the Best! She handles everything so efficiently, checking my schedule and the guys and quickly setting up a date.

I had turned to IJL after years of frustrating experience with the customary "online" dating resources. I'm a fit, drama-free professional, and was getting nowhere as far as meeting a commensurate lady. Cost was an issue in the sense that I wanted "instant" results. I was initially frustrated that weeks were going by and only one potential date that turned out to be unavailable. After some "strongly worded" emails and calls with IJL, I ended up working with "Debbie". I wanted my money back and she encouraged me to hang in there and then... I met someone wonderful. Debbie stays in touch, returns emails & calls, and I feel like she is truly my advocate in these "matters of the heart".

Good experience so far. Haven't started dates yet.

Kim is wonderful. She takes time with me asking and answering questions. She also has a great humor and down to earth approach.

I signed up for It's Just Lunch. They committed to provide 4 dates over 6 months for the hefty fee of $2500. I had 2 dates, one of which was so bad that the company agreed not to count it. They do not respond to numerous emails or phone calls. Total waste of time and money.

Sheri is delightful!!! She is so very knowledgeable and nice. She gave me wonderful suggestions for the dates. She is a fantastic coach and motivator and really made me excited about going through the IJL process. She's a great representative for your service.

I have never invested so much money for an opportunity to date just a limited number of men, but I want to trust IJL and their screening process and hope that quality will win over quantity. I am concerned that the pool of men in my immediate area is not ample, so I wonder why IJL cannot choose men for me from a wider area. It is a national company, after all. And a better fit should trump geographic convenience.

I just began using It's Just Lunch after a 2 year hiatus. They have modified the service and now have a dating director to arrange dates. My director is named Mike. He was very helpful and I just had my first date a few days ago. I felt very comfortable with the date and will probably see that person again. Mike was very helpful and I recommend him to others.

My experience with my Dating Director, Mike, at It's Just Lunch! has been fun and I am looking forward to more great matches and meeting more interesting and fun people. He makes me feel comfortable and secure that the dates will go off without a hitch and that my future matches will be even better.

After each conversation with Ariel, I notice that she gives you a "happy to see you kind of experience". She treats her customers courteously. Her approach of servicing her customers is exceptional.

My coordinators have been Heather & Kiki. I think I've only spoken with Heather once & she seemed pleasant & professional. I spoke with Kiki several times before my first (& so far only) date & I haven't heard from her since. She seems pleasant but young & perhaps not the best person to be finding a match for someone my age. The first date certainly wasn't a good match for me.

I must say that so far this has been such a pleasant experience! I am hoping that I have continued success on my first date. If this company chooses their matches as they choose their staff, I feel confident that this was the right place to go. I had my face-to-face with Heather today and I really felt that she got a better understanding of what I had in mind just by her ability to read my body language.
