I found Andrea to be interested and comfortable to talk with. She made a real effort to really get to know me. During the course of our conversation, she went out of her way to make her explanations about the IJL process and what I could expect moving forward. A great conversation.

Being a business owner of a very small company I don't get the experience of "coworker" interactions. So I heard these people advertise on the radio and figured maybe this would be a good opportunity to meet someone. I was sooo wrong. I entered into 12 month contract with them for $** (all paid up front) to which they were to set up 16 "meetings" over the course of that year. They managed to set up 9 of which 7 actually occurred due to cancellations sent through them. At the 10 month mark I stopped hearing from them altogether which was only about every 5-6 weeks to begin with. Out of the seven actual meetings only one shared any mutual interest as the others seemed to have joined out of sheer desperation (I mean these people did a comprehensive match survey so I have no idea how they matched me with whom they did).

I was kind of skeptical at first of how things would turn out, but everything has went great. Obed found a great person on the first try. I couldn't be happier with his service. We had a rough start because of me. The first pick remind me of my ex-wife. I told Obed it was a height issue. But he took it in stride and found a very lovely woman whom I am very much smitten with.

I had a great date. He was very nice and polite. He asked me for my number and we have become friends. I could not have asked for a better match for my first date with IJL! I look forward to more great experiences.

I absolutely loved meeting with Andrea! After 2 years of careful consideration and research on IJL, I have finally taken the plunge. I was uncertain about the decision until the FaceTime conversation. This conversation personified the coaches and made me feel more comfortable with the investment.

I have been with IJL for almost 3 months. I signed up for a 6 month subscription. I admit I expected to have some dates immediately. I just went on my first last week w IJL. My date was very nice and definitely someone I am getting to know better. Not quite sure yet. My dating coach, Lisa, and coordinator, Obed, did come through with an acceptable date for me. But it's very refreshing to have this matching making service doing all the work and looking out for you. I also appreciate that they have called and asked how the date went and what I like/dislike about the match.

Kiana matched me with my third date with It's Just Lunch! last evening. It was an absolutely wonderful experience. His qualities were a great match for what I was looking for in a first date. Kiana did an excellent job and she even called me the next day to find out how my day went and to find out how she could improve the services for my next match. She provided top notch service and I am very grateful. The service Reminds me of the Millionaire's Matchmaker Club but without the mixers and the price tag LOL.

It's Just Lunch it's been a good experience. Jas has taken considerable time and care in getting to know me and trying to match me with the right person. Everyone that I have met has been a great person and seem to be trusting the process to genuinely meet the right person.

I found all of the personnel of IJL to be very personable, understanding and helpful. Catherine and Amy were the first two I talked to and being a widow, they understood my fears and concerns about getting back out there to date after so many years. Kimberli was a bit slow in getting back in touch with me after I signed up, and I didn't think she really "got" the real me with her initial choices, but she really made up for it in her later searches and helped allay my fears. I do believe that she is on my side and protects my interests and is doing her best to find someone that fits my needs.

Andrea clarified my profile and made appropriate recommendations. She was very professional and caring at the same time. She also explained how the IJL experience is very different than the dating website experience. She encouraged me to exchange phone numbers with any dates I thought appropriate.

The session was very helpful and gave me great tips for my first date. I enjoyed talking through what to do if I am interested or not interested in sharing my contact info. Talking through conversation pieces and maintaining eye contact were also great reminders. I also appreciated talking about what to wear and how to keep it casual.

I completed my FaceTime interview today. The female who did the interview was very knowledgeable, understanding, and very personable. She definitely made me look forward to my dating experiences with It's Just Lunch. She really put things in a good perspective that made me see dating in a whole new way! Her session with me was very professional and enjoyable. She should be commended for her performance. Her actions and knowledge reflect well deserved credit on herself and the entire It's Just Lunch community as a whole.

I enrolled in It's Just Lunch in July of 2017 after reading about this organization on a Southwest Airline plane trip to CA. Sounded interesting, and it's been an interesting journey ever since I joined. I work 12 hour days and in a line of work where I don't interface with men. I tried other dating sites, but it's crazy going through the multitude of matches over the weekend when all I want to do is rest. So many of the matches on these sites were scams, so there's an added stress level to the stress of filtering through matches. It's Just Lunch interviewed me and carefully matched me up with men that fit the variables that I was looking for. These men have professional careers and were looking for a serious relationship like myself. Paying the required fee wasn't an issue for them, as it wasn't for me, because it got us to where we wanted to be... matched closely with someone similar to ourselves.

I would rate 5 stars but I haven't met that perfect match yet. However I am very happy with the team at IJL. Alesia ** has been particularly attentive lately. In spite of my very difficult schedule and lack of ability to even communicate Alesia has remained persistent and patient in putting dates together for me. This is why I joined IJL.

First Date - Horrible experience, he had not paid for service, did not see my pics or profile, did not match my requests, said his profile was "old" and his interests had "changed". He was told where I lived, this was his 20th "blind date", he was late. Actually I was asked for a "deal breaker" and he didn't even pass that single filter. Absolutely terrible experience and NO thought given to this "Match". Hugely disappointed and dissatisfied. Not as sold to me.

I have been lucky to have been working with Stephanie, she has matched me with two awesome guys that there is for sure future potential. I know she continues to work hard to try to find men that would lead to a good connection and I appreciate her positive personality and believe she is excellent at what she does.

Andrea did a super job especially since she could not hear my end of the conversation. Skype was not working well but we were able to muddle through with sign language. She explained things thoroughly. The whole process was well done and at this time I have no questions but feel like if I do later I can inquire.

I was fed up with free dating websites (POF) so I finally gave in to the persistent recruiters for IJL. By August of 2016, they were calling my cell as many as five times a day. I negotiated a lower fee (still thousands of $$$) and then I didn't hear from them. After three weeks I started calling them and the guy kept telling me how hard it was to find a match in San Diego. I finally went out after five weeks. A nice Russian girl who admitted she wasn't on a paid membership and really didn't care about anything other than having dinner at Roys in La Jolla. I got the whole check too (IFL says they split the check). I complained. I eventually went on a lunch date with a lawyer who had two small children and a full time career. She said she didn't have time for a relationship. Why did IJL waste my time with these two "dates". Very dissatisfied. They wanted to collect their membership fee, then they put me on the back burner.

Prior to dealing with Aleisha I wasn't very satisfied. However, she changed that... I'm only a couple of dates into it after a few months, however, I feel confident Aleisha is on the right track! She listens to me and my likes and dislikes and I feel she is working hard for me so I'm hopeful!

My experience with It's Just Lunch has been fantastic. Aleisha has made all of the difference. She has listened to everything I am looking for, and found high quality gentleman. Great personal service listening to feedback for future dates. I highly recommend taking the chance.

Sheri was very helpful and professional in our initial coaching session, offering some insightful tips and working to understanding if I had any questions or concerns leading into the beginning of my matchmaking. As I had already been interviewed by IJL a number of times prior to this session, I was a bit surprised that the verification and coaching session were one in the same. I do feel it might be more helpful to have a coaching session either after the first match or the first date versus before, that way I could discuss active feedback directly versus abstractly. Overall, I would still recommend and look forward to working with the team.

Very polite and accommodating. She Asked good questions and provided alternative options. The face time requirement was a great visual that enhanced the experience. The coach was given the wrong phone number but it was worked out. Overall the dating coach was a good experience.

I am new to IJL but will say that the people I have dealt with, including Pilar who set up my first date, have been very responsive and conscientious. Perhaps, however, they should better familiarize themselves with the particular area that they are servicing so as to be able to set matches with reasonable distances of each other.

Stephanie is my dating coordinator with IJL, Bianka the person that handles the reservation and coordinates the dating times. I have come to completely trust Stephanie and her guidance and suggestions. She is done a marvelous job finding the right person for me to date. She is conscientious, appropriate and dedicated to my dating suggestions and help. It is through her help and suggestions that I have dated a couple of women. Although it is up to each of my dates to suggest another meeting this suggestion is completely up to my dating partner. However, input from me to Stephanie is a vital part to find the right person for me. I find her very open and secure in helping me with dating. She is a great asset to me! Bianka has been terrific in setting up the appointments and following up with emails, directions, telephone numbers, etc. to make sure the date goes without a "hitch". The two make a great team!

Great conversation with Dating coach, Sheri demonstrates how very natural this process can be, she was genuinely focused on the present moment. Advice to be myself is just what I wanted to hear. Keeping it light on a first meeting is key for me.

Called when they said would call. Very professional. Easy to talk to. Made experience painless. Asked very few questions. Seemed prepared for interview. Allowed flexibility with my busy schedule. Very cheerful and positive. Gave me hope and encouragement that the daring scene will not be as scary as I initially thought.

So far the customer service has not been as responsive as expected. Receiving updates on profiles and responses to dating questions has required proactive check-ins on my part. The initial match will not likely lead to a second date as there has been minimal contact since the first date. I remain hopeful however that the next go round will be more fruitful.

It’s Just Lunch, Minneapolis, MN, has very bad service. I found better people/match in E-Harmony.com. I also have impression that the matchmaker there is racist. I started out had conversation with Samantha. I told her specifically what I like and not like, as well I specifically told her I do not prefer much older man, not older than 50. She first matched me with a 55 year old-man. I was very clear to her that I lived out 2.5 hr away from Minneapolis, but willing to travel in once or twice a month to meet with my date, as long as she matches me with someone worth my effort. She promised me she will accommodate the best to fit my schedule. I paid $**.

So far I have had an interesting experience with Kim at It's Just Lunch! Her main focus is to make sure that I have a wonderful experience and tries to make sure that my matches have the characteristics that I am looking for (and some that I haven't even thought of). I'm looking forward to my future experiences and dating opportunities.

I think as a service intended for busy professionals, IJL does a good job. If you are using this as a way to supplement going out and meeting people, you are in for trouble. I did this, speed dating and meeting people in public to help myself in the situation I found myself in. Fortunately, I met a beautiful young lady full of ambition who I hope will develop into a fruitful long lasting relationship through IJL. While I wasn't happy with communication, I do believe that IJL is very accommodating. As an example, I specified that I did not want to meet someone at a fancy restaurant as it was out of character for me, which IJL was able to do. I also found the interviewing process to be okay as pretty much everything I received on the card for my date with Brooke was an accurate representation of her. I have been on about 5 dates now with my girlfriend and she would like me to meet her parents.

Being introduced IJL has been a very positive and pleasant experience. Everyone was so nice, kind, warm and friendly. It felt like we had known each other forever. This is such a professional organization - they just don't know a stranger. 5 stars!

Meeting the professionals in this organization is a treat. They are honest and care about their clients. This is my first time using a company to investigate and search for like minded women. Sheri and Princess are awesome to work with. They are great listeners.

Sheri was very nice, I liked her tone of voice. We went over dress code for first dates, and conversation starters; as well as maintaining conversations. I feel that everything we covered I already know, it was very basic and common sense. She was easy to talk to, so I appreciated that.

So far I am very impressed with Stephine. She is working on making something happen. She stays in contact with me which is probably not the easiest thing to do. I own a couple of companies so I maintain a busy schedule, but she makes it work.

I tried a few "dating services" before finding, IT'S JUST LUNCH. There are zero comparisons to draw from. IJL is the ONLY service that is actually real, professional, courteous, and most of all... results oriented. If you want to fly first class, fly... IT'S JUST LUNCH!

I was expecting more. I was told it would be 45 minutes and it was 15-minute session (or less) with little valuable information. I don't know what I was expecting but maybe more insight into dating besides don't talk about past relationships, religion, or politics and don't cross your arms; Everyone knows that. You guys are the experts - give me something I can't google to find the answer for. This was sold as a real value add to me buying your services and I did not really find it valuable or worth anything honestly. The girl was very nice who I talked to, which I find most staff to be. She did tell me how to take a guy's number if I am not interested, which is a good idea. She also mentioned to keep saying how I am enjoying the date all throughout instead of the end. We are busy professionals and for me to block time out of my day, you should make it worth it. This was not. Very disappointing.

Dating staff has been very responsive and have had good matches so far. Last date was the best as we both had the same passion so conversation was great. I have enjoyed the experiences so far and have been on 3 dates in about a months time. Only negative I have run into is the places the dates are set up at, being a picky eater has made that part a little awkward but otherwise no issues.

My experience with IJL was awesome! Pilar and I had good working relationship regarding the type of women I would date, she also paid attention to detail in finding matches that would meet the qualities that I was looking for. I would definitely recommend IJL to friends!

Andrea was very easy to talk to. For some reason I was unable to view her while she was able to view me and take a photo. She made accurate and appropriate comments and coached me to relax and have fun with this dating process. She even gave me some practical suggestions. When I had difficulty making a connection through Skype I felt pressured as she had only a few minutes to accomplish the project and I feared having to delay the vetting process hence the dating process as the active dating time began on July 31 when I signed up and nearly 1.5 weeks have gone by without my first date. Session was informative as it answered any lingering questions I still had. The initial process for this experience is very easy to engage in though a bit difficult if you do not have internet access. First, I was somewhat skeptical of IJL, like all dating services. But being new to Miami, I joined and was immediately referred to my date coordinator, Debbie. Debbie and immediately forged a great, honest relationship where I felt comfortable expressing any date related disappointments as well as date highlights. As we worked together more, we developed a better understanding of my expectations and Debbie's knowledge of my desired fit. An understanding that only comes with a little bit of time and open dialogue, of which we had both.

So far so good. The people are awesome and I am so excited about my first date. The use of Face Time worked very well and it was good to connect with people involved in the process. I am also looking forward to my dating coach session.

After living on a remote ranch (jokingly compared to "living on the Witness Protection Program") in AZ during my first year with IJL, I now have been receiving profiles to consider meeting! Yikes! My nerves were elevated as I was married at 18 during college where I met my husband of 45 years! Now a widow for 9 years, it was hard to meet an unknown man at this mature age of mine. But, after reading and rereading the coaching instructions my IJL facilitators, ** & **, sent me, I accepted the lunch date IJL asked me to review. The experience was quite impressive! He was a perfect gentleman, professional with a great sense of humor! Our lunch lasted over 2 hours as conversation flowed beautifully. We exchanged phone numbers and plan to see each other again. I am very impressed with the vetting that IJL does for their clients!

Shari was very kind and open during our session. I especially loved the advice on planning a "go-to" date outfit. I'm all planned and ready to go. I also appreciated her listening to my personal first date struggle (I get very deep, very quick) and her suggestions on keeping it light. Very helpful.

Sheri made it fun. I was having issues with my computer and Skype. She helped me to relax and never made me think she was in a rush. She did everything possible to make me think positive of my upcoming date... This will be the first time I've dated someone I did not know previously. Thank you!

I am almost a month into using IJL and have been presented two potential dates: One did not fit my criteria and the other was pretty close. So, I went on a date with the second one and it was a pleasant experience! He just was not the right one for me. The restaurant that was chosen was excellent as was the overall location. Pilar, my dating director, really listens to my feedback and has a great attitude. I hope that during my time with IJL, I will find that special guy. I think that there is a good chance!

I signed up for It's Just Lunch almost a year ago after moving to a new city. After promising an individualized service by a dedicated matchmaker (and some not very clear pricing information), I hung up the phone feeling optimistic about the process. Shortly thereafter, I received an alert from my credit card that a large amount ($**) had been charged. When I called back my matchmaker to question this, I was assured that "we had discussed this" and it would definitely be worth it. I hung up again, reassured.

Pilar and her team worked hard to find a good match for me. The good-looking gentleman I met on my first date shared many of my interests and values. What a nice surprise! I really appreciate the time and effort that went into making this match. Before the date, my matchmaker, Pilar, spoke extensively about what I was looking for in a companion, and then post-date, we debriefed what I liked and didn't like. I felt like she "got me", and I wasn't crazy for wanting the things I want. Also, in addition IJL found the restaurant, made the reservation, sent me a reminder email and called me to confirm. This part of process was so nice! I really appreciate their help in the nerve-wracking world of dating.

My experience so far with It's Just Lunch has been great. Everyone is very professional, polite, and responsive. Obed ** especially has been extremely helpful in arranging dates and following up afterward. My first date went very well mostly, I think we were so well matched. I'm back into the dating scene after several years and quite frankly, was a bit apprehensive. Marlo & Lisa have been great to work with and very patient with all my questions. My first match and I seemed to have a lot in common. We had a great time chatting for happy hour at a local restaurant. Although he was not my "love connection", I certainly enjoyed the outing and time spent. I'm confident Lisa is focused on my best interests and I look forward to my next match.

Very disappointing service, very expensive, poor attention to details. And they say they only are guaranteeing four dates. The first date, I received wrong picture of the wrong person ahead of time. I wouldn't bother using this service. Don't waste your money or time.

Andrea did an excellent job making sure that she had accurate information on what I'm looking for in a guy. She answered all of my questions and she had a very pleasant demeanor. Andrea was an effective communicator and reviewed the process with me.

The Face to Face was great. Mya is very personable and helpful. The coaching tips will be very useful. She gave me a lot of good information to use and will be sending some topics for small talk just in case. All in all a good start with IJL. I'm very excited.

The folks at It's Just Lunch are lovely, especially their dating coaches. I have been with IJL for a few weeks now and while things started off really well and I had an introduction set up quite quickly after signing up, I waited for an hour and the date didn't arrive - he'd apparently had travel issues and somehow the communication to me got lost along the way. The earliest time that the date could be rearranged is a month later. I have requested to view another profile and am still waiting a week later. Communication with me since being stood up on my first introduction has been very poor, with me having to follow up a number of times to get a response.

People don't appreciate that as a man I have had a very hard time in the past trying to find an organized group of women who for $2600 who would put in the minimum effort required to set a guy up with a woman that may never approach, be interested in, or dare I say attracted to otherwise. I had three dates with IJL, they are supposed to deliver four dates for what I paid but it was "** me" because I had agreed to a date and then changed my mind which grants them full permission to steal the opportunity of another date away from you.

The experience I had with Sheri was fine. I felt a bit concerned, though, at the thought that some of the people are "recruited" to date people like me. "Recruit" usually connotes less than willing and eager. Sheri answers all of my questions and was helpful.

I have now been a member for over three months. At an expense of over $**, I have had two dates, one with completely incorrect information. I could not be more disappointed. If this is not corrected I plan to file a complaint with the Consumer Protection Section of the North Carolina Attorney General's office.

Sherri was very helpful in clarifying communication, and first date etiquette. She was a good listener and very supportive and encouraging about what I am looking for and my prior experiences in dating. I would highly recommend her as a dating coach, and hope to have another session.

It was my first such experience, so I have nothing to compare it with. However, I found it very helpful, in that it dealt with the most important aspect of a date, do I want to go further and have a follow up meeting and how to deal with either decision to go further or not.

Signed up unsure what to expect. Everyone's been really pleasant so far. I had my face to face, that was great really good some helpful tips. Now just waiting for first date. Have been sent a few matches. First match disappointing. Had two things that I had mentioned to specialist didn't want. Better matches after call with consultant to clarify interests.

I have been met with nothing but experienced and warm professionals at It's Just Lunch. The initial process of you all getting to know me and me getting to know It's Just Lunch has been thorough, insightful, and makes me feel that this will lead to something substantial.

Extremely unprofessional staff. Overall terrible experience. I decided early on that the service wasn't in my budget and was very clear with them about that. I continued to get calls every 3-6 months anyway (for the last 2 years!). One day I got a call offering free services because I was what their clients were looking for so I sent pictures as requested and never got a response or call back. I got yet another call where the guy (David) starting making his pitch without asking if now was a good time then was extremely rude to me when I "seemed distracted" and hung up on me.

I know that this company has great reviews posted. I also know that there has been legal action against them for not providing the service that they sell. Based on my star rating you can tell that I fall into the group of persons who have not received good service. My experience has been horrible. This is a dating service and you think I would be complaining about the horrible encounters I've had, but I'm not. I am complaining their inability to provide the meetings they sell, lack of diligence in screening, and poor customer service. Lastly, though everyone there I have spoken to recognizes that they have provided me with a subpar experience, I and my money are being held to the contract. Beware, read the information on the suits (which I unfortunately did not until it was too late) and consider carefully before signing up with them.

So far, the interview process has been great. I am waiting for my matches. Looking forward to the future. I am impressed with the in-depth interviewing process. Everyone is very respectful and helpful. I have great hope that I will find my future husband.

The lady was very professional. Gave me great insights on what to expect. Gave me confidence that I needed to go on a first date. Explained to me how things would work. Told me how to get the phone number if I wanted a second date. Was understanding of how I had been used in the past. Very nice.

I had a good experience. It just was a longer process than I imagined to be able to get matched up with what I was looking for. However, after much communication and conversation with my coordinator, I was happy with the results. She did a great job and I would recommend her.

Pretty careful arrange the meeting for both side. Lunch or light dinner for dates. Provide necessary profile informations before meeting, helps to know ahead for the other side. Choice of meeting location has been very reasonable. Last one at Bona Vista Lounge was an excellent atmosphere and location.

I am enjoying working with Kimberli whose care, support and insight, and, perhaps most important, great sense of humor, are making re-entering the dating scene much more fun than I had imagined! All in all, a very positive experience all around.

I loved working with Obed. Initially, I was very nervous and unsure about the whole experience but after speaking and emailing with Obed several times I felt much better about joining It's Just Lunch. My first date is Saturday and I am looking forward to the experience.

Mike and Fransheska are fabulous people to work with, they go out of their way to make sure all my wants are satisfied. I trust them and I can relate on them. They're a great team together. Mike always calls me with update before he sends me a profile and lets me know I going to send an email and explains to me all the match character - if they have kids, if they're professional, what they do for life, what they're looking for which I think that's pretty good and if I have question he's very good and answer them for me.

I have never had such a bad experience with a company before in my life. I paid thousands of dollars for a service that was going to provide me with a very tailored and high-end experience. What I got was the opposite. The initial matches they sent me were terrible. I finally agreed to go out with the 3rd or 4th person they sent me, even though it was not even close to what I was looking for. It turned out to be the worst first date I have ever been on.

I was a little skeptical at first because I wasn't sure on how things would work out. After my first date, I will have to say that I was very pleased with the process and pleased with my first date. Debbie ** made it so easy. All I had to do was show up. I highly recommend IJL.
