It was fun talking to Sheri. She is very personable.

They are very hard to reach once they have your money. They don't get back to you and string you along until your one month membership period is over. Then, they just say, "sorry your membership period is over." They were super friendly and responsive for the first week of membership. Then they switched me to a different contact person (dating specialist) in charge of me. I tried to talk to her. When she finally returned my call, she didn't listen to me, she was reading a script, it was obvious. Don't give them your money. They are not nice people.

Face Time meeting - Everyone has been very sweet and kind...

I am a widowed woman. Recently I moved to Hilton Head, SC. I called It's Just Lunch. Mike ** was the person that I spoke with. He assured me that I was making the right decision. He put a lengthy contract up and told me to sign. The service cost **. He then said something that I knew that I was being taken, but it was too late. He said "You are such a good catch..." How unprofessional. He wouldn't return phone calls. A few days later a nice sounding lady knew my information. She told me to meet her in Savannah, GA. She then claimed to not be affiliated with It's Just Lunch and wanted to get me into another contract. Mike ** sold my information. This company and this Mike ** person should be facing criminal charges.

My experience so far in the short couple of months has been good! I've been on two dates and each one has gotten better and better. I am glad I joined!

Having been divorced for over 20 years and absent from the dating scene for just as long, I have just completed my first dating experience with It's Just Lunch! I was sooooo nervous and I really almost turned around in retreat. I must have called the staff eight times en route... using every phone number I had for the company. Not one time were they not positive and supportive in getting me over this threshold and not one time were they not unavailable. The date was seamless, safe and lasted for about an hour and a half. There was no chemistry as far as a future date, but I was able to sit, talk, and enjoy lunch with a very respectful gentleman who paid the tab. The follow-up was within 24 hours with Kimberli, my dating director. She was very respondent to not only the feedback I gave on my future dating needs but also on the insight I was able to provide for the gentleman I was matched with this first time around.

Very comfortable to speak with. Put me at ease.

Sheri ** was an absolute joy to work with. My hopes are that the rest of the team will live up to my expectations of what was promised.

I'm not usually one to write reviews but I feel compelled to let people know about my awful experience in the hopes that they will steer clear of this service. When I first signed up I was hopeful after spending an hour on the phone with a lovely lady named LeAnn who really got to know me and what I was looking for in a mate. I was hesitant to spend the money as this is VERY expensive but I got a good feeling from her. Then I come to find out that my Personal Dating Director (Princess) was someone entirely different who didn't get to know me at all and was just using the electronic profile LeAnn created to find my matches. This turned out to not be a very "personal" experience at all.

Sheri was professional and pleasant on the phone. She asked for my feedback on the date and gave me what feedback she could from my date's perspective. She asked good questions and listened to my responses.

Sheri's tips were great. She was very easy to talk to.

Pilar did a great job finding my first date. Her expertise as a dating coach is commendable. One week I interviewed, the next week Pilar had found my first date. I want to thank Pilar for helping me feel relax in this world of dating, for being concern, calling, checking to see how my date went.

In this world of picky people, I am likely the most picky (except the gentlemen who I went out with who didn't click with me!!!). Working with Kimberli has been a very good experience for me. I am pleased at how she does not give up on me, tries to go the extra mile, so I won't have to drive it for the date, and genuinely makes me feel finding a match for me is not just work, but rather a goal. Definitely an asset to the IJL company. Given what she has to work with as for people to match, she is a wonderful "matchmaker." My first match was Karina and we enjoyed a nice evening. For a first match, the matching was better than I anticipated. Stephanie and Lisa have done a good job.

Marie is a wonderful dating coordinator, very efficient, thoughtful and did a wonderful job coordinating my date with Antonio. She kept me informed of the date and he was a great match. We had a terrific time and had a lot in common and much to talk about. He gave me his number and we will most likely meet up again. I am very pleased with the match Marie coordinated and she is doing a wonderful job.

Working with Lisa and Stephanie through my initial start-up steps and profile information. They are pleasant to work with, responsive and it has been a positive experience so far. It was just over 3 weeks and I had my first formal IJL date.

The position of a dating director is an important one in the lives of his/her clients. Skilled matchmakers are good listeners and have an instinctive quality about finding individuals that might be a good fit for each other. An experienced dating director may actually be able to select individuals that might be far better for their clients than who they might have chosen on their own. I feel fortunate to be able to work with Debbie. My gut tells me that she is gifted in this regard and truly is invested in enhancing the lives with everyone she works with in this process. I am grateful for her friendship.

Emilee was beautiful, sweet, and classy. We had great conversations, with a great a meal, and drinks throughout the whole night. I'm glad she felt comfortable enough around me. With that being said, I drove us to have drinks elsewhere on the second half of our date. I hope it works out, I like her a lot!

I've been associated 28th IJL for 72 hrs but my experience so far has been thorough and efficient. Each time I speak to a representative they not only identify themselves but also ensure I understand their role. Lisa did my initial screening and it felt like I was talking to an old friend. I so appreciate her follow up calls and patience, as this is all new to me. I think George is going to be my "truth serum." I look forward to seeing how my interactions with him will be. Heather, I think she is the validator. She validated who I was. I must say, I've not shared this much info about myself before so time will tell all. I look forward to another opportunity in a few months to share my experiences.

Kim is a good dating director. I have only had two dates but I feel she is doing her best to find the right person for me. She is committed to her job.

I thought Heather was thorough to get directly to the point. This will be my first date with the agency. I am very optimistic about starting.

Overall Kimerbli and Nadine have provided excellent service. I like how IJL sets everything up for me, so I have do as little work as possible. The restaurants that IJL uses are nice. I have no regrets about signing up with IJL. I only wish I got matches more frequently.

Nice man, seemed a bit sad. But he was trim, had a fantastic career, we have similar values, religion and politics and he was nicely polite. Unfortunately no chemistry on my side, maybe his too. For me it was probably because he didn't take care of his teeth. Maybe a nice friend. I enjoyed the lunch.

I am new to It's Just Lunch and my experience has been great so far. The coaches have been very service oriented and interested in understanding me and my potential matches. They are really interested in finding matches that lead to a dating experience that is fun, enjoyable and exciting. My first date was awesome!

I am a brand new member. So far, I find IJL to be non-responsive to me. They tend to ignore my emails. I have not seen a single profile yet. IJL was very eager to take my money. They were very organized when it came to billing. However, since I paid in full, I have not been impressed.

I initially did not have a good experience at all. I really was so disappointed. Debbie made a HUGE difference. She is caring, really listens and take her time making the experience fun and enjoyable. I really feel like she is on my team. She is like a girlfriend to me.

My matchmaker Lisa did not give up on me though it nearly took a year to find the right partner. Their follow-up team is as good. I recommend them thoroughly for anyone seeking a real partner with similar interests.

Date - Gentleman was great. Restaurant was a very poor choice.

I have to say that I have not been very happy with IJL's service since I have joined. I was very specific in my match requirements, but I found that the information was not correctly recorded in the original intake interview. I am supposed to have a single dating director assigned to me but I have been switched to 4 separate dating directors in the last year with no prior warning or indication and have had few very dates or matches presented to me.

Very happy with my experience. Heather was great.

She's so sweet! Always answers my emails in a timely fashion! Best thing about Debbie is when we're on the phone together she speaks up, enunciates super terrific! I have hearing loss. Other reps I've had spoke too fast or too quiet or had such a heavy accent I still can't understand them...even after repeating themselves 3-4 times. No, I'm not joking. With Debbie I hear and understand her 100% of the time and she doesn't have to repeat herself. Appreciate her, I sure do!

Having the right dating coach is critical to the experience at IJL. Now that I have an excellent coach things are going very well. But the first six months with the wrong coach was painful.

I am Fairly Happy with the service, being I just joined in December of last year. They have kept their word about how many dates you get. All of the workers are great at being courteous and satisfying their clients. Debbie was great with dealing with my timing of putting my account on hold and I recently just took the hold off. I don't think I'm continuing my membership once it's up in August. I feel the expense is way too much for me. For six months, I thought it would be less than what I paid. But overall, would recommended service to a friend, if they have that type of money.

It's kind of hard to rate my experience with IJL when I've only been with the organization for a few days, but so far so good. Everyone has been very nice and I'm looking forward to my first date this weekend.

I am greatly thankful that Priscilla is now working with me because overall the IJL experience has been horrible for me. So this 3 star rating is to reflect that I am satisfied with Priscilla and actually I would rate Priscilla a 5 star because she is a great communicator, compassionate, caring and gives superior client service. From my perspective, the rest of the IJL experience outside of Priscilla has been horrible. Priscilla is so good that she could work in a number of different industries and with many different clients because she gives superior service.

Tired of online dating, I signed up for It's Just Lunch to see if there was a better way. While I think the experience is different for everyone, my early dates were pretty much a "learning" experience for both me and my IJL matchmaker(s). It seemed every date was arranged by someone different though and I didn't feel that the staff cared much about the process. My dates were average, nothing to write home about, and I felt like they were chosen pretty randomly. Not much different than what was happening with my online selections.

Heather was easy to communicate with. Pleasant personality and helpful.

If this was the first match, then the next matches might also be great.

I signed up for IJL, not really sure what to expect. So far, my experience has been very positive. I've heard from three different dating managers in the IJL company -- often enough but not too often, if that makes sense. The communication with this company is very good, and yet protected by only first names. I like that a lot. I have already been referred for a first date/been sent a dating profile of an eligible man who is close to my age, looks nice, and has some similar interests in common with me. I am looking forward to my first date!

IJL is a great way to meet new people that a person would never have the opportunity to meet. Lisa and Stephanie have made my experience with IJL very enjoyable. They have taken the leg work for match making and have done an exceptional job finding great matches for myself. I joined It's Just Lunch about a year and a half ago. It took that long to complete the 6 dates. I had 2 no shows and 1 date that was so far off of what I wanted. Now overall the dates were good but unfortunately none of them have worked out.

No relationships, but feel Debbie has worked very hard to make it happen for me. She definitely has worked to keep me safe. Works out a date so that I can make the meeting and get back to my house quickly and safely. The process is slow and keeping safety in mind may be one of the causes of this.

Since the day IJL got my money their kind nature change to hard-to-find, rude employees. The behavior of employees has been so nasty. I am fighting for a refund. I have been told IJL NEVER gives refunds! One employee hung up on my son & yelled at me throughout our conversation; I DID NOT get to speak. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy!

Priscilla made a great choice for me. I enjoyed meeting him and we made tentative plans to meet again. She followed up via email and phone and provided accurate and timely information.

I am happy to write a private, non-public review. My experience with It's Just Lunch has been wonderful so far. Jas ** is a true professional and a credit to any company she works for. She's very easy to talk to and very diligent in her job... and she is still on the case for me. :-)

Lisa has been working really hard to find someone that fits my interests. Since I live in the middle of nowhere, she has been very accommodating with location. She is always friendly and helpful on the phone. I really enjoy working with her.

This dating service is a scam! The price is exorbitant - $5200. They use the price to support the claim that they will be matching you with a certain income level/professional type, since everyone pays to join. That is simply not true. They scam people into joining, and have what seems to be a very limited database of clients. They matched me with someone who had literally opposite interests from me and purposefully misrepresented his professional role. They also refuse to give any type of refund, even though I requested this only two days after I joined and before I even used the service (went on any dates.) This is a scam. Save your money!

IJL: FINALLY matched me with someone close to my requests. I am happy with the match and happy with the communication that FINALLY occurred with my most recent dating director, Marie.

Everyone I have worked with at IJL has been very professional. I appreciate that this experience gives me an opportunity to meet people I wouldn't otherwise meet.

The overall experience was pleasant. Early in the process, my dating director left the company and my account was in limbo for a little while. I called in to check on status of activity and it took a while for things to get reassigned. After it did, the new dating director only called to talk about a match and not introduce herself. I was concerned because she was offering matches which did not match my interests. It worked out over time, but the process to have 4 dates took almost a year. While I didn't find a great connection with my dating director, the quality of the dates were good.

Everyone I spoke to at IJL was very helpful and kind and clearly take great care and pride in their work (esp. Nyauda). I appreciated all the calls and emails before and after. Only change I would ask for is to ask lunch attendees where they want to eat or at least what neighborhood. The restaurant was very far from both of us and had no "ambiance." Overall a good experience, however!

Great guy, but too far away to cultivate a relationship. He is almost two hours away, and would not pursue a relationship with me due to the distance.

It has been 3 days since I responded to the IJL website and received a call from Jacques, who walked me through the program and answered all of my questions. Since then I have exchanged emails, have been interviewed, and have been made to feel very comfortable and excited about dating again. My first date is on my calendar! My heart feels ready to receive friendship and love again.

Although I've not yet gone on my first date, the experience so far with It's Just Lunch seems much more secure than with online dating sites. The identity confirmation process is reassuring and the IJL staff is upbeat and encouraging.

Everything went well. Peter was very sweet and we had good conversation during dinner. Afterwards, he was kind enough to drive me home since I'd taken Uber to the restaurant. He asked me for my phone number so hope to hear from him again soon!

Not Online Dating. Thankfully! I spent about 4 months with dating websites before I realized it might not be the best thing for me. I was comfortable with creating my profile and reaching out to others who were going through the same process but I soon realized it just didn't feel like they were looking for the same thing. I first looked into IJL thinking they were an online dating service with the added benefit of speaking to a human being but they are not an online service at all. They are truly a matchmaking service, with dating specialists to help with the time-consuming process and introduce you to people you would never have a chance to meet otherwise.

So far, I am pleased with the "It's Just Lunch" experience. I have chatted with very nice people and am very hopeful for a good outcome. Of course, I have not had a date yet and that will have great influence on my opinion of the service as I will see how well my comments were listened to. I am excited to meet my first date and feel very positive about my experience with "It's Just Lunch" up to this point.

I must say we aren't even averaging one date a month. Let me preface. I think Debbie & Onika are nice people but I'm not too impressed with this process. I'm assuming the company limits what can be offered for some particular reason and why they only guarantee four or six dates in a contract period depending on duration. I'm not really seeing the value. Not to mention of the three dates I've been, I would not label any a success. I've had more luck with first, second, and third dates w/ the free or minimal monthly payment online services like Match or OkCupid.

I have recently joined It's Just Lunch. So far I have been matched with 2 guys. I have been impressed with how accurate the matches have been. Both guys have been really great people with whom I have many things in common. My Private Search Dating Director has been a good listener tailoring my choices down to find guys that I definitely want to see again. She truly shares in my excitement. She is always quick to return my calls and answer any questions I may have. It's a fun, no pressure experience - a gift I should have given myself a lot sooner!

My first "introduction" with It's Just Lunch was wonderful! My partner and I had a very nice meal and talked for about an hour and a half. Interesting conversation! We have lots of commonalities, including two small pets that love to take walks. We are planning to get together again soon!

I think Ariel is a good match maker but I think she can do better. We're almost closer to what I want so I think we can make this happen with getting a woman that has a lot of fun and very fun.

In the short time that I have been working with Steven **, he has been a great & reliable director. I feel that there's a connection between client and director in terms of what I am looking for in a match. Steven is easy to talk to, and in most cases, available when I try calling him when I have questions. I also like how he states that he will get back to his clients within 24 hours and does, if he's not available at the time of contact. I look forward in continuing to work with him.

Thus far I have been very impressed with the professionalism, expediency, thoroughness and friendliness of all that I have come in contact with. It does appear that they truly want to take a personal look at the client/me, in order to turn this experience into one that is successful. If this experience doesn't yield the hopeful result (bagging a man Hahaha :), I anticipate that I will end up saying that it was an issue of timing and not due to their lack of effort and consideration. I've had a good experience so far. The process makes sense to me. Kimberli found my first match right away. She is attentive and responsive, and she listens to what I say to try to make each match better. I'm optimistic that, with Kimberli's help, I'll find the one for me!

I just started with IJL & have not had a date, but the interview and profile process has been very timely and hands on from the interviewers at IJL. They have all been very professional, pleasant and prompt to work with. Within 2 days of signing up Marie had already contacted me with a possible date match.

Had phone interview with Heather today, very pleasant and professional individual, put me at ease during my first phone video. Spoke with Jase and George previously, via telephone and they seem very pleasant also and eager to help me find a good match. Let the dating begin!

Don't waste your money. They wait to set you up on your first date until after the state law mandated cancellation period (3-days in my state), and then their database has such slim pickings, they just pick anybody. I'm a white-collar business owner who works with people in the C-suite every day and my first date was with a retired auto mechanic who now works for himself hauling mulch 4 days per week. On what planet is that a reasonable match. In response to my feedback my matchmaker said "...is a successful retired man, who started an LLC, is on the City counsel Board of the city that he lives." Plus he had to drive almost 1-hour to meet within 25 minutes of my house. I'd rather comb through profiles at Match.com - I'd at least have a chance to vet first-hand whether they're lying on their profile.

It is a bit premature to really rate the service because I have not even been on my first date yet. As for the service with the people at IJL, everyone is really friendly, nice and more than willing to work with you.

I'm delighted to have joined the dating agency 'It's Just Lunch'. It's an opportunity to meet new people, go out for lunch and have a chat. It is very well organised and very professional. It gives you the chance to meet like minded people and takes the hardship out of the dating game. One meets people with similar interests with the possibility of making new friends and future possible soul mates. Also, there are coaching sessions on how to present yourself and build your self esteem. I enjoy getting dressed up and going out to meet new people. Already, I'm looking forward to meeting my next date! The opportunity is created and it's up to me to seize the moment!!!

I have rejoined IJL after a rather lengthy break and so far, it's been fairly good. Too early to render a final conclusive verdict of course, but Nyauda and everyone else I have dealt with are nice, responsive, helpful and attentive. Matching under their new Private Search system/method sometimes takes a little longer now as opposed to the earlier "blind dating" approach; it seems both have their merits. When I was a member some time ago using the old way, I'd say out of every five matches I might be truly attracted to or interested in maybe two or three, roughly. There were "streaks" of great matches and then "streaks" of so-so or lackluster ones. Matching/dating was however more frequent, as I was out once a week or so if I wanted to be.

I thought IJL did a fine job organizing the date, including follow-up reminders. Chose a great venue to meet, the hostess was expecting us, as arranged. I am also impressed with the quality of date I was set up with. I have a friend who used the IJL service and is now involved in a serious relationship with the love of his life. So I know it's possible.

My experiences with my membership coordinator Erin and my dating coordinator Heather have both been pleasant. Both ladies are personable and make the interview process painless. I've only had an initial contact with my match coordinator Debbie, and I look forward to working with her.

So far overall an okay experience with IJL. The staff has been great but the process is much slower than I expected. I expected to have several options for a date at a time but it is one match, one date and that can take 10 days in my case to eventually meet.

Ariel is doing a great job for me. Always polite and responsive. She has made this experience very good at this point. She found me a great first date and I look to even better matches in the future.

I was not happy with my previous IJL experience. That is why I went on hold over a year ago. However, since I had invested quite a bit of money in this service I thought I'd try again. I am happy I did. I really feel like IJL has upped their game. I feel like are truly listening to me now and are very seriously trying to find someone who I might have interest in. Moreover, they are requesting detailed feedback on my dating experiences and are using this information to find future matches. I anticipate that I will continue to have a positive experience with IJL.

The IJL Elite Program has been great. The dating consultant was very involved and did a great job of matching me up with dates that were in line with my expectations.

However, the meeting experience went very well. The restaurant selected by Pilar was great and the individual Pilar selected for me met many of the things I would be looking for. Heather called me via FaceTime and as promised the entire conversation took less than 10 minutes to do my initial, get my driver's license, & confirm the skills. I appreciate since I have limited time. She answered my question and provided me the information on next steps.

I had a very pleasant and non stressful interview with Heather. Heather was very considerate and professional. She appreciated my time. She was also helpful and supportive as this was a new process for me.

It is still early in the process however Jas (my relationship coach) has already set me up with a date! So far the process has been easy going. I appreciate Kimberi, my dating coordinator's thoughtfulness and kindness. But I think IJL needs to screen potential clients better and not accept those that they cannot find dates for in the required geographic area that meet requested criteria.

In spite of being told at the time I signed up that there were new members who could be a good match for me, there do not seem to be many. I have been signed up for 6 months and have gone on 3 dates. The date on Feb 5 was absolutely awful and only lasted 20 minutes. When I requested that this not count as 1 of my 4 dates I was told that was not possible. I was told that I would receive a gift card for my trouble but have not received anything. I believe all 3 dates are repeat customers of IJL and perhaps asked to participate so IJL can meet the requirements of my contract. I am not hopeful that my significant investment in IJL will pay off. I will not recommend it to my friends and will likely share my negative experiences.

Working with Natasha in the DC IJL office has been a pleasure. As we have gotten to know each other, she has been able to 'tailor my dates' towards what I'm really looking for in a prospective partner. Natasha is courteous, professional, and hardworking. I recommend her as a matchmaking coach/agent for those singles out there having a hard time doing this on their own.

So far I am very impressed with how professional everyone has been. They understand what true customer service is. I appreciate the fact that what they say they will actually do. Everyone is extremely positive and a joy to work with.

Obed my Dating Coach did a great job with selecting my first date. I was quite impressed with how much my date and I had in common, incredibly, she is more of a match on common interests than any previous significant other I've had! Whether the subject was food, entertainment, or philosophy, I thought I was talking to a sibling! We are planning our second date already. The bar is set high now, so a second match will be a welcome challenge to live up to the first; eager to see how this goes!

Sheri was very friendly and approachable, also very encouraging, something I needed! She asked the right questions, but more importantly asked what questions I have about this process. I have not been on the dating scene for a long time, but she made me feel comfortable.

I think we turned a corner recently, and I really appreciate Ariel's role in following up with me and helping me get set up on a date with someone I am interested in. I am starting to see the benefits of the elite search / profile review (vs. the previous format of blind dates). I just started working with Ariel, and her attentiveness has been a welcome surprise after some recent disappointments with the service.

Staff are very thorough in determining their client's like and dislikes. They are very courteous and professional. My first FaceTime interview was prompt and took almost no time at all. They all give you their contact information so you can call any of them with questions but match you with one "coach" to minimize confusion.
