My call went GREAT, once we got connected. I had a problem with FaceTime on my phone. Had a good experience with Andrea. Was very professional and courteous. She helped me understand how to open up and really get to know my date. And be open-minded.

I am just getting started here, but have been VERY impressed with the personal service, genuine care, and energy of each It's Just Lunch contact I have worked with so far. I'm very optimistic that this is the firm that will help me fulfill my dreams.

I've tried online dating and meeting people by going out but I just wasn't finding what I really wanted. I'm giving It's Just Lunch a try and so far it's been a great experience. The face to face interview was very disappointing. It looked like Andrea was simply reading a script with a few facts about me plugged in the right places. The reason I could tell she was reading was because she was talking very fast and given her accent I could barely understand what she said. Also I do not feel like she took the time to get to know my personality. I do not know how I can trust that she will know the right man for me when she knows nothing about me. It feels like this service is just going off a script and it's too impersonal. I paid $** and expected better service.

I had my first conversation today with Andrea. She went over all the criteria I had suggested in previous emails, just to make sure we're on the same page! So now I'm in a holding pattern as she/they search for the perfect lunch date! We shall see...

I was excited to get started but was disappointed when I got there in learning that the guy I met with had signed up over a year ago and just goes out when they call him in need of someone. I was under the assumption that there were many guys out there to choose from and they would pick the ones that best fit for you. I now wonder if there are no other choices so pick ones that no one has picked up yet. He was a nice guy and we were in a nice restaurant and treated well but there was no chemistry. I love the idea and how this works but am questioning if there are enough signed up to make it worthwhile.

Hello, I just wanted to leave a comment about my interview with Sheri, The dating counselor and Life Coach that you had connected me with. First of all let me start out by saying that I knew the minute I started speaking to her that she was a girls girl, very secure in her own being. She was wonderful with me and gave me such great tips that I didn't even think about. And if I ever have a chance to talk to her again, I would really consider myself extremely fortunate. She made it easy to talk with her and you just felt no judgment. I found the process of building my profile, verification of my identity and the coaching very "easy". Everyone I spoke with (Michelle, Bianka and Sheri) very professional and attentive. I am excited to see what wonderful men they match with me.

I appreciated the suggestions about how to handle the "can I have your number" question. I also appreciated the suggestions for phrases that I can use to make sure the guy knows that I am interested. I recently joined IJL and went on my first date. I feel IJL has a professional operation and has followed through on all promises. They did a great job of matching me with someone who can make me laugh and is fun to be with. I would recommend giving the matchmaking service a try.

I don't know about the others but my initial fees was $** + another $**/month for the next 7 months. Somehow their sales representative gloss over the monthly fees. Of course she had me digital signed a contract before I received all the financial details. So be careful.

I just ended my coaching session w/ Sheri. She was pleasant, kind, and informative. The conversation was relaxing and she was full of ideas and encouragement. Time will tell (as I trust the process) if the stars align when I am set up on my date.

Dating coaching: We discussed when was my last date, how would let someone know that I'm interested via verbal cues and physical cues. We also discussed how I would let someone know I was interested in physically and verbally. I feel that she reiterated what I knew would work and I'm more confident now with this process.

Sheri was friendly and helpful. She offered simple advice without being condescending. She was very practical with her responses. I didn't feel like she was reading from a script. Sheri helped me get more excited for the possibilities of meeting a great person. I also liked that she recommended to date a few people at a time when I'm still getting to know guys.

My experience with Sheri was very positive. Despite being nervous she made the process comfortable. She offered great advice and gently reminded me of dos and donts of first dates. All great reminders because it has been a long time since I have been in the dating world.

Sheri accommodated calling me both on my cell phone and FT because I could not make our original appointment. The feedback and coaching she provided were good reinforcements and reminders for someone who has not dated in a while. The FT interview was also good to get some face to face time with the consultants at IJL instead of just communicating by phone or email.

I found Sheri to be very helpful in providing an understanding of the IJL process as well as some key points about dating in general. It was nice to talk to someone objective about my dating experiences and what I'm looking for. It was helpful and she was very professional.

So far this process has been great. Everyone is so encouraging and they truly care about your success. The coaching I received from Sheri was great. She gave me the confidence I needed to go into my first date when that is set.

For the cost of It's Just Lunch, it is not worth it. Their customer service is sub par. The picture given for the match was terrible and when I asked for more or a better picture I was told no. It's a hoax and no better than the dating sites.

I appreciated the time spent with Sheree, the dating coach. She was a good listener and answered all my questions. She didn't seem to have a serious agenda. She let me direct the conversation. I was pleased with my experience. I was made to feel very comfortable. We talked about the first date and what to wear and say. She sent me some tips for a first date. So far I have been happy with the process and if things work out for me I already have two friends that are very interested in the company and this process.

Kim has been a terrific dating coach and she seems to have a natural ability to find compatible matches for you. She is also good at picking up on areas where you need reassurance or gentle nudging like I did in the early stages of the process. :) Ann Marie is very organized and is good about following up with you if necessary---she makes sure nothing slips through the cracks and that you have all the information you need before you meet your matches. I highly recommend both of these wonderful ladies!

So far, I have only been introduced to 1 Woman. It has been comfortable because the introductee and me get along well. We will see what develops. I look forward to seeing how things play out and being introduce to another Woman with similar interests.

15-20 minutes is a short time to sort out all that can occur in the dating world, but was helpful to know someone has your back for questions. I have been out of the dating world for a while and hoping IJL will help me be successful.

After all, this is a profit making organization and profit concerns come first before yours. It is very important that you express yourself well and insist on the kind of match you look for. My initial coaching was very helpful. She asked questions that helped me to think more about my choices in clothing and conversation on that first date. I have been surprised by how little time I've spent talking with my actual dating director. I hadn't realized when I made my initial inquiry phone call that most information would be collected by that first person I talked to. Then I briefly spoke to my dating director and later to yet another person. It's hard to believe she really knows me at all. Every conversation, no matter which person I'm talking to, feels rushed. That being said, I was really happy with my first date (who was my second match; I had declined the first one because he wasn't within the parameters I'd set).

Sherri was delightful and very helpful with the information presentation as a dating coach. She gave me a lot of good information that I had never thought about for first dates. I would feel comfortable contacting her again if I had questions.

I am a great candidate... should be fun. I like to meet new people in DFW area. I am a real estate agent, so maybe I will meet an agent. There are about 60,000 real estate agents in the Metro DFW.

Overall good experience, not bad, not amazing. Not sure my exact hobbies and interests were considered. I will be looking to get to know my date more, but don't know if there is chemistry for a relationship. The restaurant choice was odd. Would prefer a place that was more current.

I have yet to go out on my first date from IJL, but the process has been nothing but positive so far. I love the fact that IJL takes charge of finding potential matches so I don't have to sift through endless profiles trying to figure out who may want the same things that I do in a relationship.

It was my first lunch and it was a positive experience. Jim was funny, which I really liked. He was a conversationalist, which I like. I loved the choice of the restaurant. We were at lunch for an hour and a half, I think Kim and Ann Marie did a really, really good job of matching me up. They are great at their jobs!

It was a big financial deal for me and so I was somewhat disappointed with the number of profiles that came through and I had to reject for good reasons. I didn't have any 2 time dates, but I still have one more. My experience was good with Ariel... She was cheerful and helpful, always getting back to me quickly.

Andrea was very kind and professional. However, she did speak very quickly and went over many points without pausing in between each but rather in between groupings of them all strung together. As a result, I'm not sure if I missed things that I wanted changed as she went through my profile. I hope it's accurate but I'd really like to hear what everything says one more time to make sure. Examples: I think it says Christian or spiritual... what does spiritual mean? I want a Christian man.

Kimberli set me up with a nice man that I'd like to see again. We had a date (first date) for drinks and appetizers with a beautiful view, and talked for 2 hours. I got a little hug while the valet brought our cars around and we exchanged cards. We both work/travel a lot, but I'm sure we'll make time to see each other again.

This service is all about building a relationship with your director and learning how things work. It takes time, patience and attention to detail. I feel that George has been able to do a good job of managing things and making sure I understood how the process works and to me that's the most important factor because I like to make sure that I that going in to something and making an investment like this.

I have been a client of It's Just Lunch for 4 months and paid $** for the service. This was the biggest financial mistake I have ever made! This company promises much more than they actually do. I have learned that they contract with restaurants, so if there isn't one near you, be prepared to drive quite a distance. The company headquarters is in Florida and they do not try to communicate with you during your available hours. Most of the time they do not respond, especially if you are making a complaint. They use templates to communicate by email. So, don't bother sending an email with a question, they just won't respond.

IJL staff members have been knowledgeable, very friendly and thorough in their explanations of how the matching and dating process works. As a new member, I am looking forward to the application of their expertise to find a date for me!

Pilar was very helpful with her recommendations and suggestions and the first date. Even though it wasn't the best first match it was not a bad experience. She listened to my requests and will refine her search to meet my needs. She heard my concerns and will continue to find the right match.

I have been impressed by the personal attention and responsiveness of the It's Just Lunch Baltimore team, especially Kimberli **. She's great! You can tell she cares about her clients and works hard to understand their preferences and make great matches!

While it is nice to have dates arranged, I don't think it is worth the money. The dates have been nice. None have called for a second date. Not sure of the seriousness of applicants. I would also think there would be more than one a month.

Sheri was awesome! She answered my questions and had a lot of helpful information about dating and first dates. I got a lot out of our conversation. I enjoyed talking to her, and I feel comfortable reaching out to her again in the future for more advice.

It's Just Lunch is a scam. I received terrible customer service. My rep scheduled appointments and then no-showed. The times available were 8-5 east coast. I live in Phoenix. They guaranteed four dates. I've had two in eight months. They don't have quality candidates in my age range. It's a waste of money, and they don't care about you as the customer.

It was great to meet face to face with one person of the team; Andrea was amicable, friendly and very professional. It was a very pleasant interview, where she asked me a couple of questions and I was happy to answer them. I am very confident, the team will find the Mr Right person for me. I am looking forward to meet the rest of the team.

I have had a very good experience so far. Pilar is very friendly and timely in responding to my calls and emails. He asks for detailed feedback to match me up more effectively for the future. I feel like I can be very direct with him, and that he listens.

IJL has been a slow process. I signed up 11/1 and am today just going on my first date. Not sure I would recommend this service to a friend yet, but am withholding judgment until further along in the process.

My face to face meeting with Andrea was pleasant and informative. She took the time to review my profile and understand my background and interests. She was thorough and specific in completing my profile to be able to make better and meaningful matches which I greatly appreciated. I lost audio and connection a few times... Not sure it was on my end as I had to ask Andrea several times to repeat herself.

WHAT A JOKE and SCAM. Nothing I can put into a short description can let others know what a complete joke this service is. I was part of it for 6 days and had hours of my time wasted. They are unprofessional and in no way delivered the service and product they promised. They are however experts in getting your credit card, smoke and mirrors, not returning calls, making up excuses, not reading your file, and reading from manuals. STAY AWAY.

I decided to give IJL a try as I was not having much luck with any other online match searches. Debbie became my advocate/coach. Very quickly she made me feel comfortable and eased any anxiety I may have reserved for the process. So far it has been a wonderful experience. Hopefully I will find match, with her help.

I think the idea of It's Just Lunch is a good one, but I think my biggest issue is, how many people actually join this dating site. After speaking with my coordinator, Aleisha (who is wonderful, by the way) she continued to tell me that they absolutely "hunt" for potential dates and will recruit customers for the dates. That to me, was reassuring to hear. So overall, I think it is a good dating site.

Everyone since day one at IJL has been extremely outgoing and welcoming! They are extremely talented at listening to your wants and needs and pairing them with others! I've only been on two dates, but Debbie has been very professional and great to work with. I would recommend this service to a friend and I would ask them to use Debbie as their date matchmaker. I had tried online dating on many different sites. So much of my experience was awful even though I went into it with a positive and hopeful attitude. When I gave It's JUST Lunch a try things began to turn around for me. The men I was matched with were nice guys who were looking for a serious relationship. The service at IJL was excellent and my counselors, Aleisha ** always got back to me quickly and she got to know me, making GREAT matches. Try it, it's worth it! It sure beats online dating!

A very good experience. The team works to find common ground between individuals--as the basis for a fit. I am enjoying a relationship as a result of my match. Obed was very kind, discreet and respectful. The venues were appropriate and the quality of matches were as I would have expected.

After seven months of "working" with It's Just Lunch, I have decided to end the charade. There is truthfully no attempt to find a match other than finding people with a pulse in my geographic area which extends to 3 hours' drive, by the way. I have asked my credit card company to request a refund for the fraudulent mismatch of promises to services rendered to the tune of $**. Read some of the reviews -- you'll see a few good comments, but mostly descriptions of disappointment. Stay tuned.

Sheri was very flexible as I was in the middle of 3 conference calls during our conversation. She was patient, charming and professional. She was concise and thorough. She was great. I don't have much more experience with IJL other than this call.

My initial discussion went well and I signed up for their services. They took $2800 and I was not able to meet even a single person in the entire month. Every date got cancelled, and one date got cancelled after I was at the restaurant... waiting for the other person who did not show up!!! I requested to meet "It's Just Lunch" manager in person to convey my concerns about their services but no one got back to me. I sent emails about date cancellation but no one replied me. During my working hours calls are not possible for me and I told them this but they did not care!! I felt like being pushed from one date to another without meeting anyone. I felt terrible and they did not seem to care at all! I tried to get refund but they have "a contract" to save them no matter how unprofessional they are, and no matter how unsatisfied I am with their services! I will not recommend it to anyone.

I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Sheri face to face, via FaceTime, it made the whole experience that much more personal. She made me feel comfortable immediately, all the while verifying that I was who I said I was - lived that! On my flight back home from Arizona I saw an ad about IJL on a magazine on the flight and I read it. This reminded me that I have to write my review. On my experience and few other people that I know that have tried it, we have had a very bad experience with it. The representatives are very imposing and they literally make your story to present to the person they want to set you up with. It was a nightmare. I didn't even recognize myself when they were trying to set me up with X person. I would be like 'that is not what I do or like, or want where did you guys come up with that, it is not me??' Didn't matter. They kept on going doing their thing their way.

Dating dos/don'ts - Good advice and pleasant style. She got me to open up about things I do/say on dates that might not be as helpful as it could be. She was also encouraging about the process and helped me think about what I should be looking for in the first date. Thanks!

This is my second try with IJL. A few years ago the experience was not good. This time the directors are engaged and the communication is very good. The ability to see pics of potential matches is a nice improvement.

Subsequent interactions with IJL employees were also good, however the number of different people I have spoken with regarding my profile gives concern as to the personal involvement and accuracy of the matchmaking process.
