I have had 4 dates in the past 2 months. All have been appropriate choices and were as advertised. I have had follow up dates with 3 of the ladies. I have been pleased with the quality of the people, their appearance, intelligence, and energy. I have had a very good conversations with all of the candidates and would recommend this service to friends.

I have truly enjoyed IJL, I have had the pleasure of meeting very nice, educated, fun and respectable men that I would otherwise not gotten a chance to meet and form friendships with. I am very glad that I have had the opportunity to join and would recommend it to others. Thank you IJL.

This was my third date and it was a much better match. It didn't lead to exchange of phone numbers but we had a pleasant lunch and found much to talk about. While the first 2 dates seemed to be just men who were available, this 3rd go around was someone who I could relate to better. My biggest request from the very beginning has been a man who lives out his Christian faith everyday. While Sean doesn't do that, he at least was very much a gentleman and interested in having a nice time. Lisa did honor my request to move the meeting location to a general area that works better so the drive would be reasonable. The restaurant was very nice.

I want to talk a little bit about It's Just Lunch and my dating experiences in the Harrisburg and Pittsburgh areas. OBET has been my dating coordinator and he has provided me with a very nice selection of ladies who I have went on 2 dates with and the staff at it's just lunch has been very professional. They listen to my criteria and try to find me the best suited matches to date. I want to thank it's just lunch for riding this opportunity and service.

I appreciate all of the helpful support I have received from Aleisha and Ashley. Aleisha is a very pleasant person to work with and responds in a timely fashion. I get the sense that she attentively looks out for all of her clients.

The process so far has been super easy and smooth. I've only had one date so far but I'm excited for more to come. I also like how we have to give feedback after the date because it helps to fine tune the matches. Even though you don't meet your matchmaker in person they ask you full detailed questions to really get to know, which I really liked.

IJL goes a very long way to removing the obstacles of dating for busy, professional people!!! My experience with It's Just Lunch was really positive. The service was prompted and insightful. I liked that they were legitimately invested in how the dates went, that they provided valid, insightful advice and that they were willing to make time to talk and redefine what I was looking for. I overall experience taught me a lot about myself, dating, and the type of person that I am looking for.

Kim gave me excellent advice on how to handle a guy when he says he'll try to get a hold of me instead of asking me for my telephone number. Instead of keeping me waiting when a guy flakes out on me or takes too long to decide when he'll meet me and etc., Kim will hook me up with a new guy right away and I really like that. I also would really like to get to know Tameka better, because she seems like a very friendly person.

Obed helped me to meet someone I am interested in continuing to date and to get to know. So far, it looks like a very nice fit. IJL is so simple, hassle free and refreshing after having tried online dating which is exhausting, very time consuming and often a bunch of demoralizing game playing. Here you meet people who, even if they are not a good match for you, are at least seriously interested in finding that special someone.

So far, so good, I've only met up with one match, but she was pretty wonderful so I do trust the judgement of the people making the decisions. I do hope that they continue to find high quality dates for me as we move forward together.

The helpful staff at IJL has made getting back into dating, easy and fun! I’ve appreciated the personable guidance and my first date worked out fantastically. The venue selected was quaint and eclectic and my date for the evening was charming, pretty and so much fun to talk with. What more can you ask for?

I have enjoyed this process so far on IJL. My first date was a pleasant surprise and we will go out again. The Dating Coordinators give you good advice and guide you through the upcoming date. They send you photos and information on a match then ask if you are interested. They then confirm a date, time and place and even make reservations for you. They also give you a reminder call and email. I was impressed with how quickly they followed up with you after the date to make sure all went smoothly, to get your thoughts on the match and to see what your next steps were regarding the match. It is also great to not have to deal with millions of texts, emails, sift through profiles on your own and I find it time consuming. I enjoy having someone else's perspective on who they see me dating. This is definitely a refreshing new approach to dating!

What I like is that as opposed to dating websites, I can fast track the process to going on a first date, rather than having to do a lot of work before getting a woman to be interested in going on a first date or starting communication with me. Which is good for me because I have a limited amount of free time. Only complaints are that it took a long time, several months before I was on my first date. Also my first dating director, Kimberly was unresponsive to my e-mails and calls.

I’m a 59 year old male looking for a serious relationship. It's Just Lunch set me up with a very beautiful women in great shape and very professional. The reason I only gave 4 stars is the location Central Park South is very hard to get to and not a comfortable atmosphere. The beautiful women I met never return my two messages. I’m thinking of trying again.

When I first signed up for It's Just Lunch the person I spoke to was very welcoming and customer centric. Through our conversation she reeled me in with comments like, "Paul is great for you" or possibly "Tom is good for you". She would make comments like that through the conversation making me think we already had desirable matches. I fell for that. I’m really frustrated. I’ve seen one match and only because I complained do I feel that this match came through. This person had not one trait that I have been looking for in an individual. I would really like to get a refund and money on. I’m very disappointed because I thought this was my chance to find a really good match.

I had a wonderful experience on my first date. The professionalism of this company is commendable. The follow-up was within 24 hours of my date. I felt the feedback questions were pointed and well thought out. I am looking forward to another wonderful experience.

I had a nice experience. Debbie did a good job with the match. The restaurant was good. The food and service was also good. Although he was a complete gentleman, he was older than I requested. I will however go out with him again if he so desires.

I signed up with IJL in 2017 and dropped $** on the fantasy that was sold to me: I was a beautiful souled person who only needed to meet the amazing, handsome, and educated men that resided only in the IJL database. In 12 months, I went on 3 dates, each impressively bad in regards to the characteristics that I was looking for in a match. My conclusions from my experience: there are very very few men in the databases (I live in LA), they are charged less to be members, if they aren't "recruited" and put on dates for free. The matchmakers are working with such a limited pool that the young Hollywood "director" who was leaving the next day for Hawaii indefinitely must have seemed like a great choice for me. I don't blame the matchmakers.

Have had some nice dates. Not as many as I would have liked. Started in January and have had 3 dates. Most have lived far away from me, 35 miles or more, 1 date 50 miles. But I like that they set up the dates in a neutral safe setting and I have enjoyed my dates.

The whole experience has been nothing but excellent. It is classy and you get to relax and enjoy your date in a beautiful restaurant. Even if you don’t like your date I’m sure you will like your food. This experience is so far the best experience as far as dating is concern. IJL set me up with a wonderful match. Unfortunately, for whatever reason it didn't work out, but that was not IJL's fault. However, they did not provide the medical disclosure which I wrote to them, which potentially could have helped the situation.

I got very tired of sites like Match.com etc. When I first tried IJL I was very skeptical of the service but as time went on I can see why they have been in business so long. My dating director Aleisha was fantastic and I would highly recommend her. After only 2 dates I found the perfect match for me and I have high hopes this the one. My advice would be patience and trust the process.

When I was signing up I was told about potential matches already available. Things have gone slower than I expected based on those early conversations. I still like the idea of IJL but I’m not convinced yet of my overall satisfaction.

I am very disappointed in the service. I have lost count of the everchanging dating coaches who have been assigned to me and then appear to do nothing. I have had one lackluster date in 4 months which only happened when I asked to cancel my membership and have a refund. I would not recommend this service.

I'm writing this review to caution others considering It's Just Lunch! They technically do not owe me anything but ethically and morally I feel they do. I paid the premium which is not a small amount. I went on 1 date who did not match my must have. I then met someone on Match.com that lasted almost 6 months. When I went back to It's Just Lunch! I was a few days late. It was sorry!!! They were paid over $** For 1 date that wasn't a match. I understand agreements but they could have stuck to their end. I feel this company takes your money and is not really invested in happy clients. Buyer beware.

My date was kind smart and beautiful, I have never met someone I had so much in common with, that I weld comfortable with almost immediately. It’s a great service and Kimberly was very easy to deal with and figured out quickly what type of woman was right for me.

Kim has my complete confidence in finding me a mate. When the right woman comes along she will find her. Thanks for having her. She has been kind in taking the time to understand me. I worked with It's Just Lunch over the past 10 months (yes, it took 10 months to get me on 4 dates). The crew at IJL was very polite and professional. The rep assigned to me always listened intently to my feedback and worked hard. There were two issues with my experience: 1) Nashville is a HORRIBLE city for dating in your 30's and it seemed to carry over into the IJL experience. The pool of candidates for a picky, late 30's male is extremely small. 2) The one thing I did not like about IJL, and it's significant, is the women I went on dates with were not paying members and knew very little about me, if anything at all. Seeing as I paid a lot of money for the service, it made me feel kind of like a John and put the women (who were outstanding) in an awkward spot. (Dave Matthews says, "You pay for what you get", ha!)

She (Joan) is attractive, smart, and has a good career. I would like to see her again, but... the other three women I met through IJL were lacking personality and warmth. Unless something really positive happens, I have no plans to renew with IJL.

The plans for my lunch date were arranged quickly and at a beautiful location. Aleisha took the time to ensure I had a very pleasant experience with a gentleman I could easily hold a conversation with. Moya confirmed the day before and answered any questions I had. Upon hearing the pleasant experience I had, my friend now wants to join.

I am dissatisfied with this service for the fact that it took forever, there wasn't a ton of communication at first, and the quality of my matches was very poor. I will not be renewing because it's a very expensive membership to not have yielded results. I went on one date and he was really nice but he was outside of a few crucial points I had set in my preferences. I just feel like I spent a lot of money and had nothing to show for it because the talent pool was not vast enough.

It's too early to give a nice review. But everybody there has been really nice and listen to what I want. I don't know what will happen but I'm hoping that I meet the right one and who knows it's exciting.

My experience with It's Just Lunch! was very disappointing. In addition I felt I wasted my money The restrictive policy regarding New York vs New Jersey and Long Island was one person per fee very expensive and does not allow one to find a good match. The matches provided did not give enough information about the person to make a holistic and realistic choice. Finally having to travel a distance rather than a midpoint location left me feeling very disappointed.

Recently, I began seeing It's Just Lunch (IJL) advertising on Fox news. Since I am on vacation and have some time, I decided to share my extremely unsatisfactory experience by writing this review expressing my contempt for this deceptive company; hoping to spare potential future victims. Around 5 years ago, I wish someone would have shared IJL's business model with me so that now I wouldn't be out $** which I may as well have flushed down the toilet. My blood boils every time I am exposed to their deceptive ads; which I know first hand are lies intended to lure you in and rip you off. IJL's prey are busy professional singles with money to spend and willing to take a chance on a company with crafty, well targeted seemingly sincere advertising commercials.

I have recently begun my second endeavor with It's Just Lunch in Dallas and am thrilled with my experience thus far. Debbie takes her time to discuss both my goals and each opportunity with me. She couldn't be more attentive and open to feedback on matches as well. All of my dates have been excellent and I look forward to continuing the process.

I found the experience acceptable in terms of meeting a couple of nice guys and getting me back "out there", but I was not attracted to either of them and did not think we had much in common. I was also disappointed that my first date was with someone who was separated (not actually divorced, and only for 3 months at that). That was not made clear in the profile I read prior to our date. In my interview I specifically stated that I was not at all comfortable dating a guy who is separated. In that sense I feel that the first date was a waste of a lot of time and money. I am taking a break from IJL for the summer, but I would consider trying it again in the future.

This experience was the worst I've ever had with any company. After one date and almost no communication (once every 2-3 months on a six month contract) they would not refund any of my money. When I pressed for more options I was shown more people outside my criteria. I consider this a scam.

My counselor Obed was very responsive and took the time to find out what I’m looking for. He took his time to find candidates for me that would be a good match. I’m currently going out with a nice woman that he found for me.

I enjoyed working with It's Just Lunch. These are professionals. They set me a date according to my priorities and I had a great time. That there was no chemistry with my date is at the core of the dating business. Only when you meet someone, do you know. People might be compatible on all accounts except the fundamental one. Must try again!

I was rushed, could barely get my own comments in as she was talking so much. SHE WAS TALKING OVER MY WORDS. Very unprofessional. This should have been a question then answer forum & instead it was me fighting to get a word in edgewise. She talked too much period. Too much about herself & came off as totally uninterested in my answers. She was very unauthentic.

I joined It's Just Lunch about 3-4 weeks ago and have been on one date. My coordinator set me up with someone who met my expectations. I believe my coordinator knows what I expect, so I'm interested in seeing what my future dates hold.

Buyer beware in Phoenix. If I could give no stars I would. There are two IJL's, the before the sale team and the after the sale team. The before the sale team is prompt, courteous, helpful and attentive. The after the sale team... the one you will actually be dealing with, is rude and unethical. Buyer beware.

Over the years, I have used IJL in Chicago & Dallas as well as Miami & I have found it an excellent way to meet very nice women whether it results in just friendship or more without the time hassle and risk of online dating or frequenting bars.

She was very sweet and made me feel comfortable. I was very nervous about the face to face interview, but she put my mind at ease. This process has been a very good experience so far. I hope that I can find someone to spend time with.

Please take this seriously if you are considering IJT. I read some awful reviews and thought maybe it was just single, lonely, angry people who were upset because they were still single and the service didn't work out. This is NOT the case. This company IS VERY UNETHICAL and everything mentioned in all the reviews, I experienced myself. I am by no means desperate, but was looking for another way to meet and date other business professionals. I'm sure if you're reading this you also know that online dating can be... crazy and exhausting. So I contacted IJT and inquired about signing up. They were very nice and took the time to get to know me, but they are really good at getting you to provide your credit information fast.

My date with James was very nice. The location was great. We talked a lot and enjoyed talking. There didn’t seem to be an awkward conversation or moment. At the end of the night we went our separate ways. No phone numbers were exchanged. Everyone with It’s Just Lunch has been very responsive and nice and constantly emailing and following up. It’s so far been a pleasant experience.

It was a good experience. Andrea was very helpful and did a good job of going over my profile and what I was looking for in a match. The only constructive criticism I would suggest is slowing the rate she speaks down a little to make the conversation clear. But overall, it was a good experience.

I was pleased with my Facebook interview. She was punctual and very honed in to make sure that she had accurate information about me and my expectations. My only comment would be that I had the feeling that she seemed a little rushed and desired to get through the interview quickly. Even in light of that I think she wanted to make sure that all points had been covered.

I just experienced my first date with IJL and it went well. The venue was perfect and the first date went well. We are going to go on the second date shortly. I did not really know what to expect; however, their process matched me with someone that was physically appealing, intelligent, easy to converse with and had a sense of humor. I was pretty specific on the type of female I was looking for. None of the females, that I was set up to go in a date with, met my specified criteria. Especially, with respect to their size and build.

Had fun and restaurant we ate at was fine too. Talked for a couple hours had lots in common. Will keep in touch with the first date. Have yet to plan a second date. Dan was attractive too, which surprised me. He’s better looking in person than the email picture.

It was a helpful and good experience. I needed help getting back into the dating scene and they assisted me through the entire process from introductions to conversation tips to communicating with the opposite sex. I recommend IJL as a matchmaking partner.

I enrolled in their $** plan while I was in Orlando. At the time I knew I was moving to the Tallahassee area and was assured that they were statewide. After one match in Orlando I moved. When I tried to get a match in North Florida I was informed that they didn't have a presence North of Orlando and I was now out of the jurisdiction. No refund of any part of my money was possible. Now they're calling and emailing me again. A new person each time. They want me to pay again and re-enroll. Not likely. There are thousands of complaints online about them now. I wish I would have discovered that before I wasted my money with them.

I am so happy with my decision to sign up for IJL. Kim has been such an amazing help to me. She has listened to my feelings and we have had great conversations about what I am looking for. I’ve had my first date last weekend and already have a second date lined up! So happy to be working with Kim.

So far, my experience has been nice with It's Just Lunch. I have been on one date and I feel we did have quite a bit in common. I am looking forward to more interaction with my team there to find me a great guy.

Andrea was wonderful. Her personality is very easy going and made me feel comfortable. I will recommend some of my others friends to join. The FaceTime conversation was relatively quick and Andrea's review of my profile was right on point.

I have worked with ILJ, Aleisha and Sally, to meet eligible men - hopefully for an ongoing relationship. I have met 3 men, but only one had chemistry and he and I are friends now. Aleisha has been a great support and there to talk to when I needed it. I have been on other dating sights, and I think it's a little magical when we can meet that someone special, but none of them give you a guarantee. And, I'm not done yet. So far, I have a positive experience with It's Just Lunch. It does take a bit longer than online dating but they provide individualized approach and really get to know person, ask for feedback to customize search to satisfy my needs. Everybody is pleasant to work with.

I've had one date/match so far and it was a good experience. I was a little turned off by the fact that the restaurant hostess didn't split the check automatically but I don't blame IJL for that. Only reason I'm not giving more stars is because I'm still new to this service and still need to see how everything works out. Like I said though my first date was legit/nice.

A little more communications about the date upfront would be nice and a few more pictures. I am new to this so we will see how it goes for the next little while staff very friendly and professional. Maybe a few options to pick from each time would be nice.

I appreciated that Andrea helped me connect via Facetime. I was having trouble at the beginning. That was kind of her. I also appreciate that she was friendly and smiled a lot through the process. I did not feel nervous. Also, this call did not take as much time as thought, which was great!

Please do your due diligence and hopefully you won't give them your hard earned money. I wish I had done my homework before I signed up. Though I realize that lawsuits don't necessarily mean anything regarding fault, a successful class action suit, and ongoing claims are not things to turn a blind eye to. My experience has been awful like many others. The first date was NOTHING I had asked for. He actually was not a paying member and they had not been in contact with him in years. Upon digging him up from the archives, they failed to inquire if anything had changed with him. Plenty had, which made him a less than ideal candidate for me based on what I'd told them I was looking for. I was incensed and told them as much on the post date review.

I was in a long term relationship that recently ended and was checking out the different dating sites online when I cam across IJL. I just joined "It's Just Lunch" but so far I am happy with the service. I have found the staff and my coordinator to be very friendly and helpful.

I found it perplexing that my matches started being selected before I had my Skype session. My Skype session with Sheri had a lot of questions I wasn't previously asked that would've helped in my match selection. The first two matches were men that had a couple of deal breakers in it that I had said. When I called Donna she was helpful in selecting someone that I really liked. I think you should go through all the interviews before they select a match to ensure they're really getting what you want. The date was excellent though. Sheri's dating tips had me feeling very confident and it helped me have a better date than I've had in years. I hope we get to see each other again, but if not I was happy for the experience.

It was bumpy when I started with IJL, after switching to new consultant, Obed, it’s much easier to communicate with him and feel more comfortable to open up myself and tell him the pros and cons from my dating experience. This is the second time I have used IJL and they have become, since I first used them in 2006, a truly professional organization with exceptional customer service. Being able to see the match before committing is helpful for the first date. Shari and Brandis are terrific to talk with and I was able to honestly share the pluses and minuses after my first date. I felt they understood what I was looking for and that my next match would be a closer fit. Chemistry is hard to describe but you know it when it’s there.

My session with Sheri was good. I shared with her that I had second thoughts with my date and she assured me it was to early to feel that way and I should give it time. She also encouraged me to identify what makes me stand out on a date.

Extremely high pressure sales tactics (they called me many times, and for months), and considering that they don't have a branch in my city, this was morally corrupt. They dangled a so-called perfect man in front of me as bait, I took the bait, and then when I finally went on that date several weeks later, he was a total dud - had no interest in me nor in dating someone like me. The idea that he was perfect for me is fraudulent. The contract allowed for a three day cooling off period from date of purchase for "buyers remorse" but then they didn't respond to phone calls or emails that were sent by me attempting to cancel within that three day period. When I finally did reach someone on day 4, they said I was no longer eligible for a refund since I hadn't requested it in time (despite their negligence in returning my calls/emails).

I have had mixed feelings about IJL. I have had a few dates that were good. I even met someone through the service and we actually dated for 3 months. I want to inform ladies out there about my last experience with IJL and how it opened my eyes to things that I assumed this organization was doing to keep their clients safe. After this date I realized I made assumptions that were not true.

Updated on 01/06/2019: I signed in February 2018. First date no show. Second date same guy never asked me one question about myself and did not seem interested in dating at all. Then I heard nothing for months. Tried to get my money back to no avail. Met with a lawyer and she said their contract is misleading but it would cost me more to pursue so I decided to give them another chance. Again did not hear anything for months. This last date I drove an hour and a half in the pouring rain at night only to be confronted with no reservation and no date. After about 30 minutes the manager came up and said yes the date had called and could not make. It's humiliating for this to happen to you. I'm giving up. It's not worth the upset it's causing me. Don't waste your money.

I almost wish I had waited to have my dating coaching session as I don’t necessarily have questions about first dates right now. However, she was very nice and did provide affirmation for some of my own ideas that I have had.

Don't waste your time and money on the service. You can get the same quality of people and support off of any of the other dating sites. From the very beginning this has been nothing but an aggravation and disappointment. I was initially charged incorrectly, and then I was passed on to multiple people. You do not deal with the same person throughout the process. I had to set up an interview that took several weeks, all of which came off my time for my membership. The person doing the interview called me late and then I returned her call after I missed it. I was told that since I had missed my time by 3 minutes, I would have to reschedule for a later date, again which delay the process of even viewing a profile.
