Mathew, Stephanie and Andrea have gone to great lengths to get to know me so that they can better match me with someone who is more likely to compatible!! Mathew in particular is an excellent listener. Their efforts make me very hopeful!

I had a lovely chat with Sheri on August 4th. She asked questions about how I would handle dating situations, and she was very pleasant to talk to. I really hope there will be some Calgary men who are available and interested in meeting me.

Andrea was very professional and kind. She shared key tips on how to be successful and handle time wisely. I was impressed. The follow up questions were well directed and focused on key attributes I am seeking in a man. This gave me a good sense the caliber of the program.

First, I was somewhat skeptical of IJL, like all dating services. But being new to Miami, I joined and was immediately referred to my date coordinator, Debbie. Debbie and immediately forged a great, honest relationship where I felt comfortable expressing any date related disappointments as well as date highlights. As we worked together more, we developed a better understanding of my expectations and Debbie's knowledge of my desired fit. An understanding that only comes with a little bit of time and open dialogue, of which we had both.

So far so good. The people are awesome and I am so excited about my first date. The use of Face Time worked very well and it was good to connect with people involved in the process. I am also looking forward to my dating coach session.

It was such a pleasure to be 'interviewed' by Andrea. She was super-fantastic. Made me feel very welcome and at-ease. You can tell she has stellar experience and is very good at what she does. After living on a remote ranch (jokingly compared to "living on the Witness Protection Program") in AZ during my first year with IJL, I now have been receiving profiles to consider meeting! Yikes! My nerves were elevated as I was married at 18 during college where I met my husband of 45 years! Now a widow for 9 years, it was hard to meet an unknown man at this mature age of mine. But, after reading and rereading the coaching instructions my IJL facilitators, ** & **, sent me, I accepted the lunch date IJL asked me to review. The experience was quite impressive! He was a perfect gentleman, professional with a great sense of humor! Our lunch lasted over 2 hours as conversation flowed beautifully. We exchanged phone numbers and plan to see each other again. I am very impressed with the vetting that IJL does for their clients!

Shari was very kind and open during our session. I especially loved the advice on planning a "go-to" date outfit. I'm all planned and ready to go. I also appreciated her listening to my personal first date struggle (I get very deep, very quick) and her suggestions on keeping it light. Very helpful.

Sheri made it fun. I was having issues with my computer and Skype. She helped me to relax and never made me think she was in a rush. She did everything possible to make me think positive of my upcoming date... This will be the first time I've dated someone I did not know previously. Thank you!

I am almost a month into using IJL and have been presented two potential dates: One did not fit my criteria and the other was pretty close. So, I went on a date with the second one and it was a pleasant experience! He just was not the right one for me. The restaurant that was chosen was excellent as was the overall location. Pilar, my dating director, really listens to my feedback and has a great attitude. I hope that during my time with IJL, I will find that special guy. I think that there is a good chance!

I signed up for It's Just Lunch almost a year ago after moving to a new city. After promising an individualized service by a dedicated matchmaker (and some not very clear pricing information), I hung up the phone feeling optimistic about the process. Shortly thereafter, I received an alert from my credit card that a large amount ($**) had been charged. When I called back my matchmaker to question this, I was assured that "we had discussed this" and it would definitely be worth it. I hung up again, reassured.

Pilar and her team worked hard to find a good match for me. The good-looking gentleman I met on my first date shared many of my interests and values. What a nice surprise! I really appreciate the time and effort that went into making this match. Before the date, my matchmaker, Pilar, spoke extensively about what I was looking for in a companion, and then post-date, we debriefed what I liked and didn't like. I felt like she "got me", and I wasn't crazy for wanting the things I want. Also, in addition IJL found the restaurant, made the reservation, sent me a reminder email and called me to confirm. This part of process was so nice! I really appreciate their help in the nerve-wracking world of dating.

My experience so far with It's Just Lunch has been great. Everyone is very professional, polite, and responsive. Obed ** especially has been extremely helpful in arranging dates and following up afterward. My first date went very well mostly, I think we were so well matched. I credit Obed with finding a great match for me.

I heard great things about It's Just Lunch so I decided to give it a try. I'm not sorry that I have. I initially spoke to Keir who made me feel confident that the process would match me with the right person for me. I also enjoyed my face to face with Andrea **. I'm back into the dating scene after several years and quite frankly, was a bit apprehensive. Marlo & Lisa have been great to work with and very patient with all my questions. My first match and I seemed to have a lot in common. We had a great time chatting for happy hour at a local restaurant. Although he was not my "love connection", I certainly enjoyed the outing and time spent. I'm confident Lisa is focused on my best interests and I look forward to my next match.

Very disappointing service, very expensive, poor attention to details. And they say they only are guaranteeing four dates. The first date, I received wrong picture of the wrong person ahead of time. I wouldn't bother using this service. Don't waste your money or time.

Andrea did an excellent job making sure that she had accurate information on what I'm looking for in a guy. She answered all of my questions and she had a very pleasant demeanor. Andrea was an effective communicator and reviewed the process with me.

The Face to Face was great. Mya is very personable and helpful. The coaching tips will be very useful. She gave me a lot of good information to use and will be sending some topics for small talk just in case. All in all a good start with IJL. I'm very excited.

The folks at It's Just Lunch are lovely, especially their dating coaches. I have been with IJL for a few weeks now and while things started off really well and I had an introduction set up quite quickly after signing up, I waited for an hour and the date didn't arrive - he'd apparently had travel issues and somehow the communication to me got lost along the way. The earliest time that the date could be rearranged is a month later. I have requested to view another profile and am still waiting a week later. Communication with me since being stood up on my first introduction has been very poor, with me having to follow up a number of times to get a response.

People don't appreciate that as a man I have had a very hard time in the past trying to find an organized group of women who for $2600 who would put in the minimum effort required to set a guy up with a woman that may never approach, be interested in, or dare I say attracted to otherwise. I had three dates with IJL, they are supposed to deliver four dates for what I paid but it was "** me" because I had agreed to a date and then changed my mind which grants them full permission to steal the opportunity of another date away from you.

The experience I had with Sheri was fine. I felt a bit concerned, though, at the thought that some of the people are "recruited" to date people like me. "Recruit" usually connotes less than willing and eager. Sheri answers all of my questions and was helpful.

My dating coach session with Sheri was relaxed and fun. She was very attentive to my specific needs and addressed all my questions. It was a pleasure working with her to pave the way for a successful first match and date.

I had a great time talking with Sheri. She had a job to do and did it very professionally while making sure she put me at ease. I enjoyed our conversation very much. I'm looking forward to my next step, my first date.

I have now been a member for over three months. At an expense of over $**, I have had two dates, one with completely incorrect information. I could not be more disappointed. If this is not corrected I plan to file a complaint with the Consumer Protection Section of the North Carolina Attorney General's office.

Sherri was very helpful in clarifying communication, and first date etiquette. She was a good listener and very supportive and encouraging about what I am looking for and my prior experiences in dating. I would highly recommend her as a dating coach, and hope to have another session.

It was my first such experience, so I have nothing to compare it with. However, I found it very helpful, in that it dealt with the most important aspect of a date, do I want to go further and have a follow up meeting and how to deal with either decision to go further or not.

Signed up unsure what to expect. Everyone's been really pleasant so far. I had my face to face, that was great really good some helpful tips. Now just waiting for first date. Have been sent a few matches. First match disappointing. Had two things that I had mentioned to specialist didn't want. Better matches after call with consultant to clarify interests.

I have been met with nothing but experienced and warm professionals at It's Just Lunch. The initial process of you all getting to know me and me getting to know It's Just Lunch has been thorough, insightful, and makes me feel that this will lead to something substantial.

Extremely unprofessional staff. Overall terrible experience. I decided early on that the service wasn't in my budget and was very clear with them about that. I continued to get calls every 3-6 months anyway (for the last 2 years!). One day I got a call offering free services because I was what their clients were looking for so I sent pictures as requested and never got a response or call back. I got yet another call where the guy (David) starting making his pitch without asking if now was a good time then was extremely rude to me when I "seemed distracted" and hung up on me.

I know that this company has great reviews posted. I also know that there has been legal action against them for not providing the service that they sell. Based on my star rating you can tell that I fall into the group of persons who have not received good service. My experience has been horrible. This is a dating service and you think I would be complaining about the horrible encounters I've had, but I'm not. I am complaining their inability to provide the meetings they sell, lack of diligence in screening, and poor customer service. Lastly, though everyone there I have spoken to recognizes that they have provided me with a subpar experience, I and my money are being held to the contract. Beware, read the information on the suits (which I unfortunately did not until it was too late) and consider carefully before signing up with them.

So far, the interview process has been great. I am waiting for my matches. Looking forward to the future. I am impressed with the in-depth interviewing process. Everyone is very respectful and helpful. I have great hope that I will find my future husband.

The lady was very professional. Gave me great insights on what to expect. Gave me confidence that I needed to go on a first date. Explained to me how things would work. Told me how to get the phone number if I wanted a second date. Was understanding of how I had been used in the past. Very nice.

I had a good experience. It just was a longer process than I imagined to be able to get matched up with what I was looking for. However, after much communication and conversation with my coordinator, I was happy with the results. She did a great job and I would recommend her.

Since I registered with IJL, my experience has been positive so far, thanks to the service being provided by my dating coordinator Aleisha who has been very professional, dedicated and pleasant to work with. Aleisha has been thorough with partner search based on my preferences, always available to respond to my queries and carefully listens to my preferences to try to find appropriate matches. Pretty careful arrange the meeting for both side. Lunch or light dinner for dates. Provide necessary profile informations before meeting, helps to know ahead for the other side. Choice of meeting location has been very reasonable. Last one at Bona Vista Lounge was an excellent atmosphere and location.

I am enjoying working with Kimberli whose care, support and insight, and, perhaps most important, great sense of humor, are making re-entering the dating scene much more fun than I had imagined! All in all, a very positive experience all around.

I loved working with Obed. Initially, I was very nervous and unsure about the whole experience but after speaking and emailing with Obed several times I felt much better about joining It's Just Lunch. My first date is Saturday and I am looking forward to the experience.

I could not have been more pleased with It's Just Lunch and Kimberli. She has an excellent telephone personality and genuinely seemed to care about setting me up with the most likely gal. I actually did meet someone and Kimberli was a big part of that success.

Mike and Fransheska are fabulous people to work with, they go out of their way to make sure all my wants are satisfied. I trust them and I can relate on them. They're a great team together. Mike always calls me with update before he sends me a profile and lets me know I going to send an email and explains to me all the match character - if they have kids, if they're professional, what they do for life, what they're looking for which I think that's pretty good and if I have question he's very good and answer them for me.

I have never had such a bad experience with a company before in my life. I paid thousands of dollars for a service that was going to provide me with a very tailored and high-end experience. What I got was the opposite. The initial matches they sent me were terrible. I finally agreed to go out with the 3rd or 4th person they sent me, even though it was not even close to what I was looking for. It turned out to be the worst first date I have ever been on.

I was a little skeptical at first because I wasn't sure on how things would work out. After my first date, I will have to say that I was very pleased with the process and pleased with my first date. Debbie ** made it so easy. All I had to do was show up. I highly recommend IJL.

Phone interview - It was a comfortable and good experience. Very straightforward, good pointers, leaves room for questions and tell you what is expected. I would say so far excited more than nervous and takes a toll off your chest when you leave the work to professionals.

My 1st date went well, just what they described to me is the person I met. It will be tough to beat, but we will see. Looking for some more meetings. I will going out again with the nice lady I was introduced to. So far so good. I would recommend this to someone who has a very busy work schedule looking for solid companionship.

I have dated only one person who is on the "It's Just Lunch" site. The experience has been very satisfactory. The person I have dated and I have a lot in common and we hit it off quite well. We have had two dates and I expect to have more with Nancy.

Developing profile and arranging 1st match - I think that the people I worked with via telephone and FaceTime (Faith/Debbie/Andrea) were very personable and genuinely wanted to make sure I had a great experience. Although I have only been signed up with IJL for a short time, I have already had a better experience than I have had with other dating services. I am certainly looking forward to seeing what they have in store for me next, and wished that I had signed up for this service sooner.

Starting off with Jessica she was my first contact and was so friendly. She made this whole experience stress free. Then and still talking with Aleisha she walked me through the next process and has put up with my numerous calls. She has been great. Next was Sheri who interviewed me. My dating coordinator, Obed, has demonstrated courteous, professional and timely handling of my account. He has followed up with all pertinent information in reasonable time frames. He understands what I am looking for in a long term relationship and is working hard to secure dates with women who fit my rather strict parameters.

The first date went well. I met with my date. He is an okay match. I wish he could be more charming. One thing, I feel that a guy should at least offer to pay for the lunch, even if he was just pretending. It could show a more generous side for him.

In this situation you had to become familiar with my preferences, personality as well as my temperament, yes? I understand that you are mostly likely following the same process with the men. I was not aware that I would be so difficult a match. I think that my age and perhaps... my appearance is making this more difficult. Since I am only at the very first stage, there is not much I can evaluate. My phone conversations with the match specialists have been rewarding. I did not respond so well to the FaceTime interviewer who checked my credentials, but perhaps that is because the purpose of the call was different.

I felt like that what I said during my initial interview and what was asked there was too many discrepancies. I felt like the initial contact I gave did not match what was said the second time during the face-to-face meeting. I thought that I've been dealing with 3 different people during this process and it's a little overwhelming getting contacted by so many different people. Being told that I should go on at least three to four dates with the same girl does not really make sense. Also I was told when my first date was going to be an only given one day with no flexibility felt like I should have at least a couple options of when I might be available.

Andrea was a positive, very professional, reassuring, easy and comfortable woman to talk with. She recapped on important points of interest and also went over deal breakers thoroughly. I'm even more optimistic that with this great team at hand, I will find a wonderful gentleman. Thanks Again!!!

I joined in early May and have asked for an update now twice. Sheri appropriately referred me back to Laquana and I reached out but have not gotten a response. I was a little disappointed with the dating advice because it was very basic and I expected a more in depth analysis. I also feel like there's a lot more to know about me and I don't know how I'm going to get compatible matches without knowing more information about me.

This price was justified on the basis that they were going to provide concierge/executive dating consulting service. They were careful to dodge questions as to how many potential "dates" (people) were in their database. They also failed to mention that as soon as they had my money, they intended to keep it, regardless of how disappointed I was with their services.

Their ads say they personally chose matches. Their ads tout themselves at great at what they do. Lies. The coaches lie! When you go on a date & the date tells you they don't have enough men & the men get a great deal, or don't pay for the membership, believe them. My first date was a very interesting man, but said he goes out on one date a month, been a member for over a year, and has a great deal with them. He's a professional dater I guess. Or if you read other reviews, he must be one of the men "on roster" they set up regularly.

My experience with IJL has been very disappointing. The first IJL contact for the company asked what I was looking for in a date. I gave him my exacts. When I went on my first date, it was obvious he did not share my profile with the person making the date arrangements. I never received a photo of my date; therefore it became a blind date and OMG he was the exact opposite of what I am looking for. The other date was just as disappointing for I could not see his face profile clearly, he was at least 40 lbs heavier and came straight from work smelly, sweaty and late. Not a good ending...

So far everyone has been kind and wonderful and incredibly responsive, knowledgeable and able to answer any question and make me feel comfortable with the process, which is a daunting one! It has been comfortable and secure and I feel confident in the process.

I am overall quite surprised by the lack of depth of the interviews. Given the overall caliber of people willing and financially capable of this service, I think the more sophisticated the client, the higher the expectation. All so far has been quite shallow and glossy. I understand this is a process staff follows and is heavily scripted. I believe the service would be better served by evaluating the content of the questions and the profile against people's lives - both as adults, most of whom have endured a hardship of divorce or death, and based on the sophistication of the clientele. Nevertheless, I will let the process occur as scripted and provide comments only if I find a disparity of objectives against matches. Too much to write but I welcome a call from mgmt. to discuss further. All staff have been highly trained, kind, and engaging, and I give the staff a "5-star rating."

Before signing they read to me several prospects that of course made me sign. As soon as I signed they disappeared. I have been sent 4 profiles in over 3 months (and the profiles only have one picture and hardly anything about the person). They were nothing like what I am looking for. When I rejected them "It's Just Lunch" then tried to bully me into going on these dates. Match is much better and cheaper than this expensive site. Unless you are desperate to meet just anyone don't sign up. They really don't care about you once they receive their money. I am very attractive and fit. It shouldn't be that hard, I am just new to being single and to Dallas.

Scheduling dates without proper matching validation. The dates are scheduled and canceled via emails and with such lack of sensitivity towards the human feelings and life agendas. I have severe and valid concerns regarding the validity of the actual dates and scheduling methods. I am also very disappointed about the lack of human touch towards the selections. The advisors don't even bother picking up the phone to discuss some information behind the mini profile. Don't block my agenda for weeks and then wait until the evening of the previous day to send a cancellation email "twice" in almost two months of subscription. Good luck to you.

If I could write a review for It's Just Lunch using less than one star, I would. This service is very expensive and it's promoted as picking someone "carefully chosen" who will match up nicely with you. This is NOT what happened for me. According to the men who I actually had "dates" with, each had originally signed up as a paying client, but now they were no longer paying. They were on a kind of roster of men who could be called to periodically go on dates. It turns out I was not in any way chosen to match their criteria: Not one had seen my picture or had been told the first thing about me. They had simply been told where to meet, the date of the meeting, and what time to be there. I was really shocked. I'd received "a profile" on each of these men supposedly "carefully chosen" for me, when none of them were any such thing.

It's Just Lunch is a rip-off. I signed up for four dates and selected the premium package which would allow me to see the photo of the date before agreeing to go out with the gentleman. The photos of the 2 men that I went out on dates with were at least 10 years old. On the 2nd date I could note even recognize the gentleman from the photo they sent. I spent $** and over the course of 2 years went on 2 dates and they closed my account. This is just the beginning of the problems I had with them.

The dating coach and other people I've spoken with at IJL are all very friendly and have wonderful advice. They have made me look forward to the process and the new people I will meet! I am glad I have put my trust in IJL.

Dating coach use of my profile information to find my first I thought was good. The information for potential dates/companions were provided in a timely manner. The arranged meeting location was very nice and an appropriate selection for a first date. Information on meeting arrangements was provided in advance and in a timely fashion. The dating coach contacted me immediately for post date experience feedback/ information.

Paid $** for 4 meetings with potential partners in 6 months. Before I signed the contract asked if there were eligible men in my area. I was told yes many. Did not have one date in 6 months. After 6 months one date with a gentleman who lived 8 hours away. Asked for a refund on several occasions. I was told could not get a refund. I filed a complaint with the State's Attorney General. I have also hired an attorney to sue them. Consumer beware.

IJL is a good service. They get to know you, your preferences and what's important to you. Pilar does a great job with this and gives me good matches. She does an excellent job communicating about matches and timing of where to meet. I appreciate her work that goes into my matches.

This is such a scam - I had about 5 phone calls before signing up for this dating service. They seemed so genuine in caring about what I was looking for. They ensured that I was a perfect candidate and they had plenty of matches in their database that would fit exactly what I was looking for. As soon as I signed up I never heard from that person who I told everything to again, and have been switched around and have to continuously have the same conversations with new consultants. I am now in month 5 and have not had 1 date. They have attempted to set me up on dates, but the candidates do not meet what I am looking for and even have factors that are on my non-negotiables, so I did not take the date. It's as if they don't listen to me at all.

IJL acted as a more personalized approach to dating than any dating website I had tried. They made it easy to go on dates by setting them up, but most importantly, with individuals deemed as a potential match via a strategic yet thoughtful vetting process. My dating coach was Obed ** and he was very receptive to the feedback I gave him from each date and was very positive about finding another potential match. I really enjoyed working with him and, through his efforts, I met my husband! I would highly recommend IJL and Obed for finding the right match!

This morning, I enjoyed a 1/2 hour FACETIME interview with Andrea. We caught some errors and added some important information. She was delightful and positive. Debbie was great in locating a wonderful woman for my first date. She has been great to work with. The location of the date was centrally located for both of us. The restaurant and service could not have been better for a delightful early afternoon get together.

IJL has really taken the time to get to know me and what I want. My coordinator Jas has really taken what I have said into consideration and attempted to meet each during my dates. Jas has made this a great experience and I would recommend it to others.

The prior 3 matches that you choose did not meet my preference or desires. The date with Chris was more deserving. Chris was full of conversation, sociable sense of humor. Keep sending enthusiastic, full of humor and laughter. I can't wait until the "what's next". Ready to find love and be loved!

She is always very professional and always helpful. Very pleasant lady. She always follows up if anything is left undone. While I am new to IJL, she has made the experience so far feel "warm and fuzzy". I feel like we have known each other for some time.

Date was enjoyable. I think we have a fair amount in common. We may meet up again - no exchange of numbers although there was a partial commitment to look each other up on social media. I had two dates that fell through prior to this one. Those circumstances were probably beyond the control of IJL. However, based on the profiles I've received so far, it's not clear to me that there is a highly active level of match-making going on. Rather, it seems like the matches are chosen based on a very rudimentary set of parameters. I would expect a more detailed and impassioned approach, something where the matchmakers really take an interest in the clients as people and create matches intuitively. I'm picturing an approach like, "I really think so and so is just perfect for Leighton." It seems that the IJL service so far has been mostly secretarial - little more than arranging a meeting between singles and taking care of the details.

Overall, my experience with It's Just Lunch has been mixed... My biggest concern is the irregular contact of the dating coordinators I had, and the different number of dating coordinators I had. It seemed like no one wanted to really get to know me as a person so they could match me up as per my preferences. Then, came Debbie **! She really took the time to engage with me and get to know me. She has had regular contact with me and is working hard to find my right match. Thanks Debbie **!

Kim has been so wonderful at trying to find me a fella. I make her laugh and sometimes I'll just call her to tell her I hope she has good weekend or holiday. If I recommended someone to IJL and they didn't get Jill I would have to tell them they were not getting the best. Jill is the reason why I am a 3 time subscriber. I only want Jill to help me. She's like the sister I've never met. JILL ROCKS!!!
