I have a Facebook page that I am unable to open. I received a notice the last time I tried to open the page that says my account was temporarily suspended for some reason. I tried to take a security test that would enable me to log in and reset my password, but I was unable to pass the test because it was identifying photos of friends, some of which I have not seen in person for 40 years. I have repeatedly sent emails to "the Facebook team", only to receive a response that does not answer or resolve the problems that I have. Without a doubt, the worst customer service team I have ever encountered in my life. I would simply like to log into my account so that I can terminate my account and remove my contact information so that it is no longer public. It seems to me that this should be easy.

First off, for 1 week or so, Facebook has been non-stop slow. It has been slow as a turtle. There has been numerous amounts of ridiculous Ads and so forth that it cannot handle. Second, it lacks easy complaint forum when someone like me wants to complain. Like today, someone compromised my account by phishing. Facebook has become not enjoyable, that I am about to leave.

I went to log on yesterday and got a pop up message that said my account had been disabled. For what reason I did not know. I sent in a letter of complaint and was told I was using a fake name. The name I am using is real and the one I registered with a year ago. My e-mail hasn't changed. I was a victim earlier this year by a con man operating on Facebook. Yes, it has cost me dearly. I reported him to the company and yes, he is still there operating under another of his names. I still have all proof that it is the same person.
However, a couple of weeks ago after a stint in a game room, I challenged a player and all I got in a reply was a language so disgusting that I reported and blocked him. I reported the matter to FB. I didn't hear a word until yesterday and no warning but just the message. I have many friends and family members on FB. I have written a short story and some poems that are there, more to the point that I am disabled and somewhat housebound. I am a mature lady and don't play around, swear, send spam and send **. I want my account back. They will not listen, read my complaint, or treat me with any courtesy but just a standard automated response.

My girlfriend blocked my ex on my Facebook page. My ex has been unblocked even when I have not been on the page. Unfortunately, my girlfriend thinks I unblocked her and now, doesn't trust me! Is there any way that she can be unblocked like this? Right now, my girlfriend thinks I'm a bit of a twit. I would appreciate anyone's comments. Facebook by the way is rubbish at dealing with complaints.

On the weekend of September 18th, I changed my email address at Facebook, and in 24 hours my account became disabled! Attempts to email or reach a live customer service person did not take place, as Facebook is computer generated only. In my emails, I requested a link to change my email address as there may be more than one of me with the same first and last name. If this is true, then changing my email address will delete duplication on my part and protect the integrity of my account.
The disabled Facebook account is Robert **@openmail.cc, there have been no emails there to send me a hyperlink to change my email address as requested to erase duplication if any! Also you are required to provide a cell phone to verify an account and there is no option to use an email address as security. You can only use a cell phone, prepaid cell phones will not work on the Facebook system. For days the phone number has been busy, again if the phone were answered.

They tell me I have to verify my account with a text Phone so I went out and buy a Phone to do it and they have already disabled my account and won't let me start a new one.

I have been deprived from having access to my own private data of information and personal history of correspondence with relatives, friends and also prevented for having access to dedicated personal videos, pictures and private notes of the whereabouts of the people of my life as relatives, friends and members of my groups, which are stored in my account. The social networking provider Facebook abruptly disabled my account since 30th of May without considering the consequences of their action to myself as an individual, who has fallen into their promotional slogan that Facebook helps you connect and share with the people in your life.
I opted to join Facebook and abandon other Internet programs and habits in order to venture their promotional offer and by doing so, I invited all of my friends, relatives and new friends to join me and my groups. Therefore, all of my personal socializing data are stored in my Facebook account like information about relatives’ and friends’ whereabouts, correspondence, messages and communication in general, dedicated and sharing personal videos and pictures, exchanged notes and comments. I consider this as a violation to my privacy for having anyone, corporation or individual to have an upper hand and abusively restrict my fundamental right to have access to my own documents and to restrict my right to communicate with friends, relatives and the rest of the society.
At the time, Facebook has all the technology and means to monitor and control what the subscriber is downloading and importing in his or her account and can stop any misuse of the rules, instead, methodically is disabling a personal account and falling to adequately communicate with the subscriber. In my opinion this action and practice is abusive, outdated unethical, unsocial and disturbing. I wrote several times to Facebook asking them to reinstate my account but their reply is very limited and uncertain. Therefore, I like to see the Facebook team before the Canadian and or the American courts for abusively disabling personal accounts and depriving people from their undeniable right to communicate with the people in their lives and also from having access to their own personal data! Also, disabling a personal account is an insult to the Statue of the American Liberty symbol and to the whole civilized free world!

The idiots at Facebook won't let me access my account without identifying tagged photos of various "friends" on my account. The problem is that the "friends" consist of blank pages, faces that don't match the names of people listed, etc. To top it off, these idiots don't even have a customer service center to complain directly to them. This is probably because they would have 500 million people complaining!

I want to check my charitable organization I belong to and it won't allow me to login. There’s no way to correct anything without getting in. I don't understand why any 13 year old would converse with a 34-year-old woman.
This is sickening to think that a 34-year-old woman would use Facebook to prey on children. Or that Facebook allows this to happen. I am extremely mad about this issue and feel horrible that these children's parents do not know who their children are even talking to anymore. There are so many liars in the world now. I was a user of Facebook until I received a message that slandered me. In order to collect coins, a person or persons must answer a question about a particular individual. The questions can range from "is ____ a lesbian?" or "is _____ ugly?" It is just plain and simple harassment for the whole world to see. Then I saw my daughter's Facebook page and it was worse for her. The constant judgmental and harassing comments Facebook allows others to make for a game takes a mental toll on those who take it to heart.
My daughter faces ridicule from her peers daily from other teens because they believe what is written in Facebook. It has gotten to the point where she makes excuses not to want to go to school. Eventually, I will have to home school her for fear that eventually suicide will be her only option to escape what is happening to her. I would like to straighten out my Facebook account so that I can respond to the numerous messages and invitations. Unfortunately, talking to Facebook, especially when it will not even let me log in, is like talking to the Sphinx. On my recent trip to Chicago, I took my laptop and stayed at a Hilton hotel in Evanston near the Northwestern Campus. When I tried to log in, I was told that I was trying to access my account from an unfamiliar location, one that FB was not familiar with. Weird. I had previously been able this year to log in from another hotel in the Chicago area, and from southern California, Taipei, Taiwan and a variety of other places and last year, places including Kunming, China and another three Chicago locations.
But FB insisted on testing my identity. Now outside of my password, I don't recall ever giving any ID background, such as my mother's maiden name, of the kind the banks require. But FB has its own method. It required me to identify a bunch of photographs. Not ones that I usually see when I check my Facebook friends (unless they are on the friends photo pages). No, these were more interesting but totally unknown to me, such as members in costume, side and back view shots and even a shot of the invisible, (as no picture was ever shown). I was given each picture and a choice of six names. Two incorrect answers and your are out, can't log in. I finally gave up, but only after changing my password, which I was allowed to do, but still not allowed to access my account.
When I got home I tried to log in on my desk top, the one that I usually use. After all FB said to me "If we recognize your computer, you'll be able to skip this step." That turned out to be a lie. I just tried again to log on and FB said: "In order to proceed, Facebook needs to verify that you are the owner of this account. To do this, please identify the people tagged in the following series of photos."
I presume my FB account will just lie dormant for all future time unless some of you can raise a FB interest beyond its juvenile game playing computer, in allowing me to access my account. Facebook is embarrassing me. I can't respond to messages, friends or requests. This makes me look bad personally and professionally. Perhaps I should file an action or joinn a suit against it for defamation or intentional character damage. I have over 500 friends and more who want to be on Facebook. FB action and inaction damages my professional reputation by not being able to answer messages. But where would one sue and serve Facebook. Perhaps it is not even in the U.S.? Help me and all the others being damaged by FB.

They have no customer service whatsoever to assist users, and that is unacceptable. If you have had the same experience, the only way to make these people accountable, and provide customer support service, is to lodge complaints.
Also, send them a letter to their corporate HQ, or fax them, and let them know you made formal complaints with those agencies and advised friends/family to do the same.

Facebook disabled my profile prejudicially while I was sending friend requests to MySpace friends. I have been trying to invite some 1700+ friends from MySpace to join me on Facebook when my account/profile was disabled. Somehow this was confused with spamming and Facebook disabled my account. I have a growing number of friends specially in McAllen that share an interest in local music, mostly reggae.
In my opinion, this violates Facebook's own principles, "People should have the freedom to share whatever information they want, in any medium and any format, and have the right to connect online with anyone - any person, organization or service - as long as they both consent to the connection." You can read all of their principles at facebook.com/principles.php. I have been cut-off from my community of friends with no recourse for resolution. It is defamation of my character and person.

I communicated with them about their unethical behavior and they cavalierly ignored everything I mentioned as if they are proud of themselves sneaking money out of people's accounts as rich as they are.
They were totally callous and they know I never pay them $50.00 to go into any of their sites. I have blocked that site from my computer and have no intention of dealing with it again. They know that they are practicing bad business on that site because there is nothing anyone would get out of it by giving them large amounts of money like that. It's ridiculous! I don't know who would knowingly do such a thing. It makes no sense at all. I have a fixed income and there is no way that I would waste my money on purpose for something so foolish except if someone would steal it or try scamming it and I don't fall for such schemes.
I am very responsible with my money and it is needed for my bills and other necessities. I have never been involved with Facebook regarding any money ventures so they redirected pages in order to steal money from my account. As opposed to other complaints about Facebook, I was not the victim per se, but I was involved. I used to log into Facebook mobile at school on my Blackberry when I was bored. One day, I went to my recent history in my browser to get to Facebook faster and clicked on a link to Facebook. The news feed that appeared contained neither people I have as friends nor any people I have even heard of. After a bit of research I found that the account was of a woman who lived in a completely different US State 800 miles away.
I logged out of Facebook and on the login page her email and saved password asterisks were there. I contacted her and let her know what happened and what I learned from that conversation seemed VERY strange and from that day on, I never logged onto Facebook mobile again. The victim has never owned a blackberry previous to her present one, so it is not possible that a memory part was reused in the making of my phone. And she hadn't recently been to my city so there is no way she could have logged into Facebook on my phone or even network. I would have taken some action if I were her, but she seemed unwilling to. If another person got that login information, I don't know what that woman could have gone through. Scary.

Facebook has disabled my account without giving a specific reason. In multiple emails, they have given no specific reason as to what I have done wrong. They did not state which specific incident, prompted by account being disabled. Facebook also baits users to get their account disabled by encouraging actions that will get their accounts disabled. Their warning system is not functional, because just the mere fact that a warning message has been displayed can be a reason for a user's account becoming disabled. Facebook gives no specific rules (limits on friend requests, posts and comments per day) which users can not help being confused.

I was on FB yesterday and had no problems logging on, so what's the deal? FB is a social website, right? The whole purpose of a social website is to meet and connect with new people and to find past and present friends, right? Frankly, I don't use FB specifically for direct socializing because of the various issues the site has; I use it for playing social games like Mafia Wars and Social City. Of the friends I have, only four are people I actually know (they're family); everyone else I have met online.
I have 906 friends I have acquired in this manner. FB is asking me to identify these friends through random photos out of their album(s); not the avatar they use to identify themselves on FB- which is what I may recognize. I must identify 4 of these friends correctly, or wait an hour and try again.
1) Some players do not use avatars, so I don't know what they look like anyway. That is not my problem since it is not something I can control (except to tell them I cannot friend them without a picture of some kind). FB is the one with the problem, because FB allows a person to use the generic avatar;
2) FB allows a user to solicit and/or accept new friends as desired: It wouldn't be a social website otherwise, right? Yet, there appears to be some silly rule they may have created out of the blue to push the responsibility onto the users. I say that because I read in a complaint forum FB supposedly recently (2010) added a rule limiting the number of people you could add to your friend list within a specific time period- which I don't recall being announced in any mass statement to those using the site; Iv'e been on here every day for 3 years, except for 9 days back in 2007. I did not receive notification by private email (or any other manner) of any such rule change this year (2010). I think it strange that a social website would put such restrictions on their users, but it's not up to me, is it?
3) FB unfairly expects me to have (excuse the pun) a photographic memory. Ergo, I am bound to fail since the odds of me correctly getting them all is about 669 BILLION to 1.
If they do not want me using their website, they should terminate the account and tell me why in an email. But they won't do that, because they are in the process of aggressively seeking growth for the pending sale and/or de-privatization of the company. If I appear to leave by choice or as an illegitimate user, then it looks good on their books. H! I find it strange that it has only taken three years for them to catch up to me. Ha!
I also find it curious that there does not seem to be a direct way to contact FB. That's fine with me! It is my opinion that if the publishing of this sort of complaint will cause even one person to decide to not use Facebook, then it has served its purpose better than this worthless site removing the barrier they have put up to prevent me from socializing with my game friends.
Since I cannot access or monitor my account, I have no way of knowing if I'm being phished or hacked and someone is misusing my account information and photos. If this happens while I'm unable to do anything, I will hold FB directly responsible and will prosecute to the fullest extent of the law.

I placed an ad on Facebook to run on July 19th and 20th. The ad was approved around 6:00 pm CST on the 19th. By approximately 2:00 on the 20th, I received an email statement charging me $40 per day. The statement reflected 79 clicks on the 19th, and 69 clicks on the 20th. However, according to my Google Analytics report for those two days, only 16 people visited my site on either day. I requested Facebook to explain the discrepancies, and have receiving several emails explaining when charges would be reflected on my bank statement.
I finally received an email from Xander in Payment Operations stating possible reasons for the discrepancies, but none were valid in my opinion since my Google Analytics reports reflected similar numbers as my Constant Contact reports when I sent out an e-marketing email. When I asked Xander why the problem only existed when I compared my Google report with Facebook's, he sent me the same email as before. He did this four times! Finally he requested my report from Google. I provided him with not only that report, but also the report from Facebook, clearly showing a great difference in numbers.
Now, Xander told me that the Google report is not detailed enough, and that if someone "Likes" my ad, that is the same as "clicking" my ad. I don't see any statement of that in Facebook's advertising policies. I have requested numerous times for a full refund, but Xander seemed to come up new reason not to give me a refund. After my last request, Xander just stopped responding to my emails.
During the last two weeks, I have been communicating with Betty from Facebook, who, like Xander first started sending me the computer generated standard replies. Clearly not reading my email in the first place. After numerous emails, I was again being told that, "Facebook can not escalate your request until I receive your click logs. Once I receive your click logs, I'm happy to escalate your request for an investigation.".
However, when I supplied Facebook with the only click log I can provide, which is Google Analytics, they told me that it does not provide sufficient data. I continue to request a detailed click log from Facebook proving the charges as provided to me by the Fair Debt Consumer's Trade Act of the FTC, yet Facebook continues to respond "...escalate your request until I receive your click logs. Once I receive your click logs, I'm happy to escalate your request for an investigation.".
The longer they refuse to provide me with proof the clicks are actual clicks made by Facebook clients, the more I am convinced that Facebook ads are a scam! Do not advertise on Facebook!

I then tried to lodge a complaint but none of their standard complaint forms were appropriate and there was not a contact number or email to make my complaint.

According to Facebook, I could only report a false profile or photo theft, but not both. But this false profile uses a photo of me that I had posted on FB. May puzzles then came out, and I won $50.00 for that month, and my boyfriend also won $50.00 for placing in the top percentile.
In the early parts of June, the site owner, Joe, closed the game down without warning claiming he had no money to pay any of the winners from as far back as April. The second and third are apparently from one person whom I have never heard of. At the finish of these invitations is a blurb in Spanish which suggests I am part of some Facebook list or database. I can only speculate this from them accumulating email addresses from the computers from which profiles have been created. Note, I didn't say from the users creating a personal profile but from data bases of email addresses the person has upon the computer they used. I say this because in the invitation are additional profiles of persons whom I have made contact with by email.
Specifically, the email address included here. Some of these persons I've not been in contact with in over a decade and do not have a valid email address for. So the only means by which this amalgamation of additional profiles could have occurred would be collating the email addresses garnished these peoples computers and done so without Facebook being upfront with specifics of what are siphoning off and storing from their computers. Further proof is that the first invitation which was sent to my second email address does not have these additional profiles represented; Why? because I never used my second email address to contact those people whose Facebook profiles were in the second and third invitations. The kicker is that one cannot contact Facebook by email without first creating a profile or by snail mail. I find their actions to be a deliberate sublime invasion of people' personal privacy.

Who are they to tell me that I have too many people who either want me to confirm their friendship or that I can't have many friends? It's a free site. She described the title and I was irate. I do not know how many on my list received the same suggestion, but I posted a warning in my feed. If Facebook cannot manage a large number of complains or concerns of its loyal users, then why does it offer useless help thru help center when it cannot or apparently does not care about any user?
Who knows? Maybe tomorrow it’s my turn to lose my account or my networks I built past few months, or my friends. Real money invested on my account. Who knows? This is the current behind the scenes reality of Facebook: ignoring all their customers’ wishes and taking away everything at a click of a button. Facebook's privacy is a nightmare. The site, attempting to give more granular control, currently has something like 170 different privacy options, and 50 privacy settings. No one has time to manage all of these, especially with the fact that they change them without notice. Why can't they give us total granular control for each service, if we want to publish our information. Let us opt in, on our own accord, not the other way around. Facebook has an opportunity to really save some face here, if they would only think about the subscribers, not the greedy advertisement agencies watering at the mouth, to get my information, so I can get more dumb spam.

I recommended two to three stories appearing in possibly two issues of the Standard newspaper appearing before May 19, 2010. When I checked stories appearing in the Standard newspaper issued on May 19, 2010, I found that I, Mathew **, had recommended nearly all the stories under the Facebook logo at the bottom of each story on the Standard issue of the above date. This is scandalous because, some of the stories have political connotations. Someone is creating the impression that I support the stories in which I am signed in as recommending the stories falsely! My rights are being violated here yet newspapers in Kenya have been crying foul about government attempts to gag them with certain laws. This is an irony!
Someone may have accessed my pass code that I use to sign into the Facebook to recommend stories appearing in issues of the newspaper on May 19, 2010. Suppose I use this pass code elsewhere including my online financial accounts, and then this leaves the possibility a person could access illegally these accounts and compromise my finances! There is also the possibility that someone has taken my rights away on deciding which stories I recommend and which ones I do not. Either way, my privacy has been invaded and denied. I have the right to hold a political view which may be implied by my recommendation of the stories I am signed into. This action is preventing me from keeping private my opinions on certain political issues. This is scandalous at the best. Since one can expect that on average my views on such stories can reflect the kind of judgments I make in regard to the pertinent issues in the stories, this could have social, political and economic consequences for me given the very political nature of the global society in the past and present! The commission or omission by the Standard newspaper of taking away my rights to privacy is therefore potentially injurious to me now and in the future.

Without prior warning or notice of cause, Facebook deactivated my account. I have used its account reactivation form and account deactivation form numerous times, as well as contacted them via numerous email addresses, all to no effect. I have received zero response as to why Facebook deactivated my account. Facebook relies upon its Terms of Service to essentially place itself above the law, but it cannot legally do so. It markets itself as a social networking tool, which is obviously used by writers and others like myself to promote themselves and their work. There is little to no profit involved; I merely seek readers.
Facebook more appropriately would have warned me of any potential TOS violations it claims and allowed me the choice of whether or not to remove content and/or cease any activities to which it objected. I was not allowed this opportunity. Worse still, Facebook continues to charge the debit card associated with my deactivated account for an ad I placed prior to deactivation. It's beyond the pale to deactivate an account and maintain debit and credit card information to continue charging a dismissed customer.
I seek the reactivation of my account and restoration of my entire network of friends, as well as all content previously posted. I will consider removing anything considered offensive, though I have posted nothing approaching the lewdness and offensive posts I see all over Facebook's pages, not to mention Facebook's own ads and its applications clearly geared towards arranging sexual encounters.
My career as a novelist and writer depends upon networking. I have been on Facebook for years. In that time, I have built a substantial base of friends. I may well have surpassed my limit, but Facebook easily could have controlled that limit. I attempted to delete "nonhuman" groups to make room for more friends while remaining below the 5000 limit. Of course, I've no idea whether this was the cause of my ejection. As a result, I have lost access to important incoming messages and other contacts. I cannot access correspondence. I am in touch with numerous editors and other publishing professionals within the Facebook community and have lost those connections without warning or even notice of cause.
Facebook acts in a fascistic manner. It considers itself above the law and all ethics. It promotes free expression while in truth violating it, just as it rampantly violates privacy. Their TOS may make these activities technically legal, but those technicalities then need to be addressed. I have lost the most important networking tool at my disposal, and obviously Facebook considers its members disposable. They're easily replaced by new registrants. Its flagrant abuse of its position as the primary social network has provided it more power with which to attract, and then destroy those like myself seeking nothing more than the ability to share links and exchange correspondence with others in their field. The economic damage is incalculable.

We do not currently accept ads promoting 'work from home' and other money-making offers positioned as alternatives to part-time or full-time employment, or offering compensation for little or no investment. We will not allow the creation of any further Facebook ads for this site. We appreciate your cooperation with this policy. Thanks for your understanding."
I ask why Trump Network, Agel, Mike Dillard and of course, the dating/escort services ads are allowed to run and get this answer: "We will not allow the creation of any further Facebook ads for this site. We appreciate your cooperation with this policy. Thanks for your understanding." Why is Facebook censoring ads and allowing others to run their ads when they clearly also do not meet these supposed "guidelines"? So now I am denied this advertising medium while similar business enterprises are permitted to use it. Either their ads are prohibited or mine allowed to run also. I am missing potentially millions of new clients worldwide due to this decision. Thank you for your time.

After Facebook changed their homepage I was unable to view my posts, unable to update my status, and unable to view replies to my posts in a timely manner. I deleted my account. Facebook reinstalled it. I deleted it again, and now am bombarded with spam emails, many directly linked to Facebook. I have four ways to access Facebook, three of which are by using my iPhone. I could access the full webpage, the 'mobile' webpage, and an actual Facebook app.
After the website change I would have to jump between the 3 access points to view my posts, or responses to my posts. Some responses never showed up. Some of my posts never showed up, and many responses were 3 to 4 hours delayed. I could typically only type 7 letters in an update attempt, with the other access points I was limited one paragraph of 3-5 small lines.
After much frustration attempting to use the 'new' Facebook, I deleted my account. That evening I received an email from Facebook indicating I had reopened the account, and welcome back. A link provided to dispute the change only led to the FAQ section of Facebook and automatically had logged me back in. I changed my password, did not save it within my browser, and attempted to again close and delete my account. Error messages and no-loads of the web pages kept occurring. I had to repeat the process 3 times in order to delete the account.
Since that time I have received dozens of spam emails most from the address. I am being harassed by Facebook. My email has now been opened to open hacking, spamming, and identity theft. What was described in the EU agreement as privacy policies of Facebook are in direct conflict with their actions.

First of all, Facebook asks users to lie about their full name. I am one of those unfortunate people who didn't have a last name written on my birth certificate. I tried "none" for my last name. It got rejected. Then I tried "Kennedy," which is a lie, and it got accepted. Because I'm obviously not a Kennedy, I used "GSM" for my last name. GSM, as opposed to cellular technology term that was developed on the mid-90's, was a club that I founded in my college years. GSM stands for GEA Sasana Mandiri, which in English is GEA Boxing Club. I thought of the name myself, unaware of any development in cellular technology in Europe. We still use AMPS here at the time, so I thought the term was my intellectual property rights.
Second of all, my account got disabled about 28 hours ago. I sent appeal messages by listing all compliance to the Facebook Statement of Rights and Responsibilities. No response whatsoever from Facebook. I have been using Facebook for approximately 2 years now and got disabled just like that. I didn't see any warning emails nor anything like that on my email inbox from them prior to the disabling. I have read their Statement of Rights and Responsibilities 3 times and found that I didn't break any rules in that statement.
Lastly, I have more than 3,400 friends on Facebook and almost all of them are good people. The main reason I use Facebook for so long is the games, and helping out each other in the games everyday has become a routine activity.

Update for my original post on November 26, 2009: This Facebook virus has gotten worse! It can also come to you through Facebook Chat! My sister's friend, Cheryl, got infected. I watched as the virus sends a wall post to Cheryl's friends! It starts with the "A's" then will keep sending down the alphabet; in this case, to stop at the "J's". This virus will come from a friend, someone you totally trust! If the anti-virus you have isn't good enough, it will infect your computer and then send it to your friends starting with "A".
I have watched this for five months now! There is no place to report a virus or a Trojan to Facebook! You can report hacking, but this may result in them deleting your account! Mostly, this will come to you in your messages, a line or two of misspelled words, followed by the tainted link. I personally don't delete mine... Facebook will do that for you as part of the huge cover up that is going on.
There are many, many dangers on this site! I know I have stopped a few people from this horrible virus that will totally destroy your computer! I have made screen shots of every virus that has come to me and my friends. It is not going anywhere, and neither am I. Cheryl got this from her sister. A family member will forgive, but this is still turning friend against friend and strangers into enemies. It is stronger today than it ever was.

My "other accounts" are none of Facebook's business and they definitely have no business knowing my password for these "other accounts". How do they know if I am using the same password?
My password is unique enough that I don't worry much about hackers but now I have to worry about these sites following my activity and sharing my info when they are not supposed to. Since when can "friends" or people on Facebook get your account disabled without warning? Who's in charge, Facebook or the 50 million users? Almost two weeks ago, my account was disabled without any warning. I do boudoir photo shoots and posted the tastefully, non-nude or explicit pictures and also made sure 90% of the people on my Facebook has no access to the album, just close girlfriends and guy friends. However, I went to log in and my account was disabled. Johanna from user support reactivated my account 48 hours later, but that same day, my account was disabled again without warning. Meanwhile, Facebook already removed the 4 photos that they believed violated their terms of use. Why was I disabled again?
I always get hung up on when I call their customer service line and it takes 48 hours plus to receive a reply from someone. I still have not gotten my account reactivated and Marissa from user support said my account was disabled and will ever be reactivated. I have 40+ albums of my son, who will be four years old, that they will not let me have (even knowing he is going for brain surgery in one month) nor will they inform me who, what or why my account was disabled for the second time after they already removed the content that they say violated their terms.
I then since re-opened another Facebook account and 4 days later after opening it, it has been disabled. I am quite disgusted with their customer service and lack of warning and information. I still haven't received a reply why my second account was disabled and who is torturing me on my account and causing this to happen. I'm a very furious and frazzled user right now. What should I do?

I was an administrator for the Facebook application, Warbook, which is overrun with cheats who make multiple accounts which do not seem to be policed by Facebook in any meaningful way. I became very effective at finding these fake accounts and banning them. This led to a campaign against me on the Warbook forum, with all sorts of accusations being made. Particularly galling were that I was a stalker and that my wife was a mail order **. Many of these accusations were made by demonstrably false accounts. Being human, I posted some less than delicate replies, but nothing in comparison to what was directed against myself and my colleagues.
One day about two weeks ago, I woke to find my Facebook account disabled. On contacting Facebook, I was told that I had used my account to harass other users and would never be reactivated. I subsequently learned that a campaign had been mounted against me by a certain group of cheats, which included the use of fake female accounts to say I had threatened them. I have informed Facebook of this but they do not reply.
A couple of days ago, the same thing happened to another ex-administrator. The conspirators are openly bragging of this in Skype chats and plotting who they should get banned next. Some friends have created a Facebook group in my support, which has over 50 real members, not fake accounts. I started using Facebook over a year ago. Soon after I opened my account, I started getting friend requests of my mum's ex-partner and his new girlfriend. I ignored them at first. They kept coming. So I sent them both a really nasty message, telling them where to go. I got a reply threatening me. I then find out of a friend they have tried to add them and they have added friends of friends. Most of my friends didn't accept. They created a new ID in my name, all my details, tried to add me and nearly everyone on my friends list, and on their friends lits as well. I reported them. Nothing from Facebook but an automated email telling me how to change my privacy, which I did. Then my friends started getting IDs of random names, with my pictures and my details.
I again complained to Facebook, automated reply again. I think over the last year, I have complained and wrote at least twice a month, sometimes more, depending on how many times they have created new IDs. I still haven't had any contact from Facebook. I have closed my account now. I have found out today that they are still creating accounts in my name and in fake names, and even though my friends have picked up from me complaining to Facebook, still nothing has been done. Facebook should be able to stop people having multiple accounts (more than 5 from 1 IP address is over the top) and if they do, they should ban them. I have sent Facebook suggestions on how to help people in my position, but nothing again.
My daughter had an account. She had to close hers because they created an account in an 11-year old girl's name and my daughter added her thinking it was a friend on the street where we live. I then involved the police, which to my horror, I discovered nothing can be done. This so-called man was pretending to be a little girl, adding little boys and girls. Where I come from there is a word for people like him. Still Facebook and the police do nothing. If it was going on in the real world, they would be done for stalking. As it is on a networking site, nothing is done.
At the end of the day, whichever way you look at it, it is cyber-bullying, which I was under the impression wasn't allowed on Facebook. How can Facebook justify letting these people keep doing what they are doing and yet they close people's accounts because of silly things like too many messages being sent or posting on a wall or even adding people for Mafia Wars. I think it's disgusting that they don't care about the right things. They need to get their priorities right. My health, my daughter's health and my friendships have been pushed to the limit over these sad little people. Luckily, I have very good friends who have made their feelings towards these people clear to Facebook.

Facebook’s Customer Support is very slow and irresponsible.

Similarly to many people's complaints, I have been disabled from Facebook for seemingly no reason whatsoever. After repeated emails, I still have no reply. It seems to me that websites such as this should be willing to reinstate people's accounts if they remove the content that they often unknowingly have put up (whether it be a name change or a picture) or they should at least warn people before disabling them. My account has recently had activity on it that was not done by me and I have no idea if I was disabled because of something I or somebody else has done and after all the time and effort I have put into my account, I am furious that I haven't even received a reply as to why it happened. As there seems to be little I or anyone else can do to Facebook they must believe they are untouchable and therefore don't need to pay any attention or offer any kind of customer service to the people that unfortunately rely on it so much.

I am an avid Facebook user and ordinarily am a fan. However, I just received a message from Facebook when trying to post a message on one of my friend's walls. It said that due to an overuse of this feature, I will not be permitted use of it for the next few days and should be careful in the future. I was unaware that there was a limit to how much you could talk to your friends and am very confused at why I received this message. I looked into this further and found that if you repeat the same message several times, you can be warned. I had pressed the send button on an earlier message a few times before giving up and finding an alternative way of contacting my friend. This was because of difficulties that the website itself was having and not due to any of my own misconduct and abuse of features or whatever I am being punished for.
I am not sure what help you can offer and am unsure of how to contact Facebook with this complaint directly as they seem to have made it very difficult. Please can you find a way of alerting Facebook to this problem if possible because I thoroughly enjoy using Facebook and do not want to be scared of contacting friends in case this privilege gets removed. It would be good if I could get the warning removed and full access to Facebook's features again if it was a result of their own technical difficulties and not my misuse. If it was my fault, which I doubt, but apologize for if I have accidentally done anything wrong, then please can Facebook alert me to the reason for their actions?
