    First of all, it wasn't the best experience with the products but, here is the timeline of my adventure: 6/15/15 - Placed my order online. IT IS VERY CLEAR that you are going to be receiving it every month unless you change it. It's within the "checkout" process. 6/18/15 - my charge disappear from my card and I thought the order was cancelled due to verification. I emailed them. I received an email the NEXT day saying it was at warehouse ready to ship. 6/27/15 - I received my order - I followed the instructions and my hair was very, very soft and the scent stayed a while. I even email asking them if I could change the formula later, they replied the same day saying "yes". 6/28/15 - my scalp was itchy. It could be because 1 - I am pregnant and my skin is very sensitive. 2 - because the previous shampoo caused me dandruff or 3 - my hair was just reacting to the change of hair products. I also came across this site and started reading the reviews.

    So, I decided to email them and ask them to cancel my auto-ship. Within a few hours, I received a confirmation email stating my account was cancelled and to give them a call to provide more details about the issue. Of course I did not call. Around 7 pm EST I received a call from a lady from Wen, asking me for details of what happened. She assured me again my account was cancelled. As of today, my hair is still soft, no more itching and I could actually go another day without washing my hair. I normally wash it every other day because it gets itchy or greasy. While I do believe customer could suffer from a reaction, here are my questions/clarifications to some of the reviews:

    1. Anyone that states that they didn't know about the auto-ship - it is very clear when you are checking out. Lots of other companies do the same thing not just this one. 2. Several reviews stated that they had been using it for years and they noticed it but they thought it was stress. Common sense, you will start with process of elimination if my hair is falling... (ie hair products, medications, etc)I find it surprisingly that all of them went to dermatologists. 3. Saying that they cannot get a hold of someone. While I never called, normally email communication takes longer and my emails show that they do communicate and they do not leave you hanging. I actually just tried to go into the account and it states that my account was deactivated. 4. Some stated they used it on their babies. I had the original formula sent to me and the minty scent cause the tingling feeling on my scalp.. why would you think this can be used on a baby?

    Of course, these are just my opinions and questions. If you are trying to find information on this product, it is up to your criteria to purchase it. I would recommend you search other sites for reviews and or word of mouth. I ordered because my coworker's mom uses it and she states that it's been years and with no problems. My reference number for the cancellation is **.

    I tried the first batch of Wen products and determined it left my hair greasy and unclean feeling so I returned within 1 week. I cancelled my auto delivery and I still received it. I mailed it back return to sender. I never received a credit for any of my returned products. I called several times and was told it took 3-4 weeks. It has now been over a year. I am frustrated but I gave up and counted the $60 loss.

    I've been using Wen cleansing conditioner from QVC for over a year and I Love this product. I have thick curly hair. I no longer have to use other hair products (Spray gel or Curl rocks creme). I do lose some hair when I do a once a week cleansing. This is normal for anyone. I wet my hair everyday and run my fingers through it to get the knots out from sleeping. Everyday that I wet it, I use one pump of the cleansing conditioner as a leave-in conditioner. This is the only thing that I have to use.

    I have saved money because I no longer have to use the other products for my hair to keep it from being frizzy and in place. I only cleanse my hair twice a week if needed, if not just once a week. My hair has never felt or looked this good. Love my Wen cleansing conditioner. You have to make sure you get the right one for your hair type. And use have to make sure you following the instructions. I have tweet the way I use it. I don't use the amount of conditioner they say I should for my hair type. I actually have used less and it works great.

    I am very upset and disappointed in Wen right. I talked to a girl yesterday and told her did not want any products now and she said that "No problem. Money or products would not be until Aug." Last night they took 37.94 out of my account and it overdrew my account. Not a happy camper right now. A couple months ago about the same thing but sent me the wrong products. Very upset. Should not have happened. Now I have to wait 3-5 business days to be put back into my account. Have talked to 9 different people at Wen, they have all lied to me... They are keeping my money against my authorization. They took my money June 19, as of today the 27 no money back in my account... They said 3-5 more business days.

    I ordered a product for 20$ and they placed me in a "Home Delivery program". I was scheduled to pay $90 in 3 weeks from now for a kit of products that I never ordered. I called as soon as I noticed this and I cancelled my account. Thank God I did not had to pay and no money was removed from my account without my permission. But I'll be vigilant in case something else happens! Be very careful and call to cancel the account ASAP. It took me less than 5 min to do this. Good luck!

    Before I used (WEN), my hair was healthy and growing and the only products I used before the (WEN) is the (Rinse-Clairol-Semi-Color), (Dye-Dark & Lovely), (Olive Oil Hot Oil Treatments and the (Olive-Olive Shampoo & Conditioner). I know my hair because I take care of it myself and felt something was not right. I have been going natural for almost 1-year but I would (Dye or Rinse) my hair. I used the (WEN) 3-times and then decided not to use the product again. I washed, conditioned and put a Hot oil treatment on my hair this past weekend 6/05/15. My ends are still thinning and the bottom portion of my hair is frizzy & thinning the portion I cut off. When I washed my hair last weekend, there was not lots of hair in the comb or sink. No more than normal when washing and conditioning my hair.

    Yes, I also blow dry my hair only after washing & conditioning. I use hot curlers sometimes but not daily. No, I did not see a Doctor because I was not sure what was going on, until my last wash and I did not have the same issues with my hair falling out as before when I used the (WEN) product. But, the bottom portion of my hair that I cut is still brittle but better than when I used the (WEN). I went to visit my Sister Saturday 6/6/15 and I was telling them I think the (WEN) was breaking my hair out and I showed them my hair and they were shocked. My hair was just almost to the middle of my back, less than a month or month ago. My Nephews girlfriend stated something popped up on her computer stating women were saying (WEN) was breaking out their hair. We all said, "What!!!" and google (WEN) reviews or complaints. I was shocked. Then I went home to study this matter.

    I started using Wen in January 2015. At first I liked the product and thought it was really helping my naturally curly hair but over the past month have noticed my hair thinning on the top and even a small bald spot. I thought maybe it was due to stress or medicine and just shrugged it off. I went to my hairdresser yesterday and had my hair done, we started talking about how my hair was noticeably thinner on top than the last time I was there. I told her I had been using Wen products and she informed me that a lot of people were saying they were losing hair since using said products. I had to have her cut my hair in a shorter style so as to try and "cover" the bald spot near the crown of my head and to make my hair not seem so thin and lifeless.

    Needless to say she recommended that I stop using Wen and recommended a shampoo better suited for my hair, but as I have seen some ladies on here comment, almost any shampoo is better than Wen. Chaz Dean and his company should be ashamed, I hope it has to be taken off the market and he goes bankrupt!!!

    I used the shampoo a year or so ago. I saw the commercials and was anxious to try it. While I did not experience hair loss, I noticed after the second use of the product my hair felt dirty. I washed with my regular shampoo and then used Wen again. The same thing happened. My hair just never felt clean! I quit using it after a couple of weeks. I didn't really have problems canceling the subscription. But, I wouldn't advise buying this product. There are many more less expensive and much better products on the market today!

    I call them over a month ago. Told them I don't like their product and they still take money out of my account so I am being hit with an overdraft fees. Now I have to call my bank. They say "you get your money back you're not satisfied." That's bull crap. They lie. They just want you to spend more money. To get more.

    For the past 2 years I've used Wen Hair Products and my hair is thinner than it's ever been. I couldn't figure out what was going on. I thought I was using one of the best hair care products for my hair. I just purchased a gallon of Wen Kids for me and my grand daughter from QVC. I'm so sad here I was thinking why would my hair be so thin when I'm using a $177.00 product. I've used Wen Pomegranate prior to The Wen Kids...

    I ordered Chaz Dean Wen Shampoo. The cost was supposed to be $29.99. I did not sign up for automatic delivery. I was billed 33.34 three times on my credit card. I called to correct, and was told it was corrected. I received an additional shipment a few days later which I refused delivery with my mailman. I called again to let them know I did not order nor want auto delivery, and I asked they cancel and whatever else needs to be done, to stop auto delivery, and continuous billing on my credit card.

    The shipments stopped, but although I had paid for the original shipment that I did order, continued to get a past due bill. It was 6 months before $65 was returned to my bank account. Two years later I still get a past due bill for $29.99. The product was good, but not worth the hassle with my bank account, and getting past due bills for something I do not owe. What a nightmare. If you want to buy Wen, I suggest buying from QVC - a reputable company, NOT the commercial or ad!!!

    This is a follow up to yesterday's complaint. After I E-mailed you about wen company not returning my money, I called Wen again and told them if I didn't receive my refund by Friday, I would contact The Attorney General's Office!! Today in the mail I received my refund!! It only took 9 weeks!!!

    I had to return my 1st shipment to Wen because it contains chamomile which I am allergic to. I asked if they had any that didn't contain chamomile and customer service rep said they did not so they would refund my money. They sent me a return label on April 16th. On April 24th I sent back their products in their return box with their return label. The attached directions label said the money would be returned within 6 weeks. It is now June 23rd and I still have not received my money back guarantee refund. This is much more than six weeks!!! It's been about 8 weeks. Thanks.

    This is why it's so important to read reviews before buying products. I tend to lose some hair because I have thick curly hair and don't brush often but only before I get in shower, so when I started using this product did not pay much attention but did notice more hair was coming out than normal. I just took a road trip and when I got out of the car there was so much hair all over my seat. Oh my gosh I am so glad I did not go years or even months using this product. I would be sick if I got to the point I had bald spots. It's bad enough to see so much hair coming out and like others thought it was stress. This is crazy they can still sell this with all these complaints.

    I started using WEN on December 7, 2013 which I ordered from QVC & the company. My hair was in very good condition but I wanted to use a product that would detangle my hair. I was watching QVC which they advertised the WEN product to be one of the best hair product for detangling and conditioning the hair. My hair became softer and was easier to comb with less tangles. After two years of using the product I notice that my hair was not as thick as it was and that there appeared thinning around the circumference of my head. I didn't think it was the product until my daughter whom I bought the conditioning cleanser for called me after a month of using the product complained of the same reaction that I was having thinning and hair shedding, which left her at the age of 37 devastated after growing her hair to 16 inches long.

    I ordered the basic kit online and did NOT request additional shipments. However, a few weeks later, I received a heavy box of things from them. My contact form to them went unanswered for 3 days, so I called in only to be told that I would have to return the box at my expense and my refund would be only for the product, not their shipping and handling. I told the clerk he works for a crook! I don't even like the product as my hair does not feel clean afterwards and no improvement in the condition of my hair. This snide clerk wanted to get into a discussion about my hair and I had to tell him I wasn't interested in discussing it. I just want to get rid of this shipment and not get any other. He assured me he would so. I have to hope I am done with this lousy organization.

    Some time in May 2015 I ordered the WEN product line after watching an infomercial. My sister had tried this product and liked it, so I thought I would give it a try. I called in, thinking I would get a 30-day supply for $39.95, but instead got this huge package that the company would charge me 2 times that much. I wish I would have read the reviews of dealing with this company and their policies before I went thru headache after headache that I and others have gone thru to clear their accounts with this deceptive company.

    My first phone call was to first say I didn't want to try the product after discovering that the cleanser is more like a conditioner than a shampoo. 2nd phone call was to return the product. The company told me that they would not charge me for the other 2 installments. They in fact did! The 3rd call was to see if my product had been returned... No history of it and still I am charged for never trying the product. I had to embolden myself to get a full refund for $119 worth of product I never tried. I am angry. Do NOT TRUST this company. I don't care how good or bad the product is. It is not worth your time to order it off of their informercials. If you want to try it, look for it in a store.

    I learned my lesson as well...didn't know was signing up for the club and monthly deliveries; don't use the product every time I shower, which is daily, so don't need yet another one. Cancelled my big time membership and realized that I could just buy this stuff right off Ebay, for example. Why join a club? Got me one time! Just not a good product for daily use - fine hair in Florida weather.

    I bought into the WEN program believing I was doing something great for my hair! At first I loved the product and continued my subscription. I started noticing a lot of hair in my brush and the shower drainage was slowing down. I never put two and two together. I went to see my mom at Christmas and she was shocked at how thin my hair was! I didn't notice it as I was seeing it everyday. I recently ran out of all my WEN (I had canceled six months ago) and in two months my thick hair has returned!!! I mentioned I had used it a month or so ago to my new hairdresser, she said there was massive complaints about hair loss! I do NOT recommend this product at all unless you want thin, stringy hair.

    I am seventy and after a debilitating stroke that altered not only taste and smell, vision and use of limbs, but seemed to deaden my hair and turn it to straw, I decided to try Wen after seeing all the claims on the TV commercials. After that first wash I was hooked. I haven't experience hair loss, in fact my hair is fuller than my twenties, and even with home coloring I am saved with Wen. I have found ways to use the product these past four years that work best for me. For one thing I wash my hair every three days and for a while, because I was using hairspray. I would shampoo every third time. I no longer do that as if I need control. I use the Wen spray and gel instead.

    I also leave in the conditioner after a first rinse, or add it to rinsed hair, and it gives my hair the body and natural fullness that keeps it easy to manage and maintain. I never use a dryer, occasionally a heated brush, but just towel dry, comb into shape and rough up a bit and my hair feels and looks fresh and natural. The only negatives have to do with the exorbitant cost that certainly was not what I originally agreed to, as $90+ every three months for a few products is outrageous. I have stopped ordering and am looking for alternate ways of purchasing Wen other than Guthy Renker. But this is a fabulous product and really helped not only my hair but my self confidence coping with my handicap.

    I received my first package from Wen last year, then I received a second one when I wasn't even through my first bottle from the first package. I called to cancel, but then a month later I received a third package. I called again because they took it off my credit card and proceeded to cancel AGAIN. They said to send the package back and they would credit my credit card. I put my receipt in the box so there would be no confusion. Package was received by Wen on March 14, 2015 at 9:49 AM. I have not received my refund yet.

    I have been using WEN for about 2 years. I didn't use it exclusively until a few months ago; I used shampoo for the first cleanse and WEN for the 2nd conditioning because I couldn't get used to my hair feeling clean without shampooing. As time went by, I noticed that I wasn't washing my hair nearly as often as I used to, plus I was instinctively using less and less shampoo. I finally just went for it and skipped the shampoo altogether and my hair felt clean even without it. I loved how my hair felt from the start and it's just gotten better the longer I use it.

    It's gotten thicker so I've been able to let it grow long; in fact I haven't cut it at all since I started using WEN and I don't have any split ends. My hair started getting thinner when I hit my 20's and I had to cut it short in my mid-30's, even wore extensions for a while to thicken it up. Instead of being coarse and frizzy, I can wear it straight (if I flatiron) or curly (if I let it air dry I actually get spiral curls, which I haven't had since I was 6 years old!). I couldn't believe so many people had a negative experience with it because it's been a lifesaver for me, and I'd recommend WEN to anyone who asked me for an opinion. I have had strangers ask what I use on my hair and let me tell you, when you are in your late 50's and some guy in his 30's stops you to compliment you on your hair, it feels pretty damn good!

    My mother ** ordered the products on the Wen website from the 39.99 special. She was to receive 3 orders, 1 a month, at 39.99. Wen NOT ONCE during their conversation with her that all 3 months would be taken out of her bank acct plus tax and shipping all at once to the tune of 125.99. They had not shipped the product yet. An unheard of thing with anyone else, Amazon, LL Bean etc. When she called Wen about this, and told them to put the money back into her acct, they got mad at her, told her they would cancel her order and she wouldn't receive anything! (in a very hateful tone/attitude). Nowhere in any of her conversations with them while ordering or with the man she spoke to today, and nowhere on the Wen website was it made known that you have to pay 3 months all at once. She has notified BB&T and their attorneys are watching her account to make sure Wen reimburses her account with the 125.99.

    I used WEN Cleansing Conditioner Sweet Almond Mint on my daughter just a few times. She started losing hair within a couple days, and also had a complete change in the texture of her hair making it tangle and become matted. I never considered that a high end "shampoo" that is supposed to be more gentle could possibly be the culprit. I used WEN more as a detangler on the length of her hair, and she continued losing hair. I used the product twice more on her whole head because it made it extra slippery and easy to comb through. I thought that would reduce pulling on her hair and reduce hair loss, but her hair fell out in handfuls when the product was in her hair until there was almost no hair left at all, and remaining hair ceased to grow and would also have to fall out to make way for new hair. She even lost her eyebrows and lashes. 8 months later she is still missing a significant amount of hair.

    I have used WEN for about a year and a half now. Before using WEN I had a thick, full head of hair all my life. It was also very dry and coarse. So I ordered WEN to try. My first reaction was positive. It was different being no suds and apply to hair, finish my shower and then rinse out. At first I didn't notice much difference. After a couple of months my hair stylist said it feels different. After a year, I have notice my hair is softer but also thinned out.

    Now after a year and a half I have notice my hair is really thinned out on top but I attributed it to my age. I knew about the reviews and my daughter pointed them out to me. She is a cosmetologist. Said professional hair products are the best for me. I wanted to continue trying it but after hearing about the lawsuit of one woman and seeing the pictures of bald spots, I decided to quit my use of this product. My hair has definitely changed, but not for the good - thinned and frail. Also the auto shipment system is pits. They should just have the member price available for everyone and they order when they want it. Don't bother with this product.

    Just over two months ago I bought into the TV infomercial hype and purchased some Wen Sweet Almond Mint Cleansing Conditioner and leave in conditioner hair products. After using the product for two weeks my scalp itched like crazy, driving me wild. I didn't like the smell of the product. I used half of the amount suggested on the directions. My hair is long, past my shoulders. I continued to use it and saw a lot of hair going down the drain and in my hair brush. I decided to check online reviews and saw many others were having the same results but it seemed to only be with the Almond Mint Cleansing Conditioner so I purchased some of the Fig hoping to end the problems that I was having.

    The smell of the Fig Cleansing conditioner is absolutely horrible! I could not stand the way it made my hair smell and my scalp continued to itch. After learning about the class action suit, and fearing I might go bald, two weeks ago I decided to stop using all Wen products and go back to the shampoo I was using. To this day my scalp still itches and hair is still coming out in my brush and drain. I am hoping that this will soon stop since I no longer use Wen products. I am not happy with Wen products. Some say they have had amazing results. I have NOT.

    This company grabs a hold of your bank account and deduct payments every month. When you call to cancel they say they will cancel and give you a cancellation number, but they keep on deducting. The product makes you hair fall, fall, fall.. Stopped using it! Don't fall for the "paid" models, their hair is not good because of the Wen product! They fix it and make it look pretty and say it's Wen.. Take the reality from these reviews.. These are the real people talking.......

    I was searching online for a better deal than the retail price I bought off of the TV where they kept on sending me these large boxes every single month of their regular cleansing conditioner and their special cleansing conditioner (which oddly I cannot find anymore online) that came in the smaller bottle for extra special deep cleansing that I mix with the regular cleansing conditioner. I felt like they wanted me to sell it or something, ha! Guess I should have read the fine print.

    I am a 37 year old man and I have been using their products (and the replenishing mist) for going on 2 years about 4-5 times a week. When looking online just now I was totally floored by all the commentary on people (I presume 90% women) that had hair loss. Typically a male would be more susceptible to such a reaction since men tend to go bald far more frequently than women. I feel like the only person that has been totally satisfied with my results. Even my girlfriend and the women that work at my office comment on how awesome my hair looks.

    Here is my question: Why am I not losing my hair and I am a man? I naturally have a tiny bit of a receding hairline, but heck I have had that since my 20s. HAVE ANY MEN USED THE PRODUCTS AND LOST HAIR SUDDENLY LIKE ALL THE WOMEN?? Now you all have me totally worried and I am scared if I stop then I will lose hair like some of you all said happened. Gosh, I so wish I had not tried to save a few bucks tonight! How am I going to explain this to ** (my girlfriend)?! What should I do? Perhaps some bottles got contaminated and I just got lucky since I had such a large surplus of over a year supply, you think??

    I bought WEN approx in April on QVC. I got TEA TREE AND ALMOND MINT. After about three weeks, I noticed my thick hair was now brittle and breaking and falling out in clumps. I thought, ok, I am 44 yrs old, maybe hormones. Then I started the second bottle (tea tree). My head was constantly ITCHING and burned. I was pulling scabs off my head the size of dimes. Then I noticed two bald spots.

    I went to a hair salon to see if they could help. Was told it looked like chemical burns to beautician, asked what I had done (I.E. COLOR, PERM, STRAIGHTENED). I looked at her and then the reflection of my salt and pepper hair. I was not dying in 6 mths, have not permed in 25 yrs, and my hair is naturally STRAIGHT. Told her using WEN, she told me to stop!     I am SO confused by these comments left here. I've been using WEN for nearly 3 years, long curly hair, and it's been fantastic. Before with shampoo and conditioner I lost a lot of hair that I had to gather in a clump to throw away, (I regularly "shed" for my whole life lol) now I may have only a few strands. Before I had to use gel, mousse, and anti-frizz serum, and my hair would be crispy or frizzy or dry, now I only use the cleansing conditioner and the anti-frizz cream, and my hair has never been softer, shinier, and the curls are splendid and bouncy.

    I don't blow dry or curl and straighten occasionally. I wash my hair 1-2 times a week, at night, comb the styling cream through it and go to bed with it piled on my head and in the morning it's perfect. I used to need a trim every 3-4 months due to dry frizzy ends and oily top, but since I started using WEN I've gone 9-10 months before needing a trim, and that's only because my layer gets too long! I've never had breakage, dryness, or hair falling out in clumps. No balding.

    My sister has been using it for the same amount of time, and her hair is the complete opposite of mine; baby-fine, straight, and blonde. She has had no problems with hair loss or balding and to me her hair looks bouncy and shiny. I don't understand the problems you all are having, but I'm sorry for your issues, I wish you could experience it like we have.

    On another note, I went on the website to see what scents they have, and by the "place order" button there it is, "auto-delivery included" (or auto membership, whatever) clear as day, also the full breakdown of an initial payment, then 4 weeks later another, then every 12 weeks an auto payment and new shipment of product. It's right there. The price is a little high, but a bottle lasts me at least 2 months, maybe more. It's worth it. I love this product, and would be extremely sad if I had to go back to regular shampoo and conditioner, plus all the other styling products to keep my hair looking this great.

    OMG! Just discovered the reviews about Wen and having a major aha! moment. I started using the "cleansing conditioner" (fancy marketing ploy for shampoo) about a year ago. Soon after I started losing my hair in shocking quantities to the point where I dreaded shampooing, avoiding the dreadful clumps of hair in the drain. My eyelashes also became sparse. My hair looked awful and I felt ugly and old. I attributed all this to age (I'm 62) and stress. I (thankfully in retrospect) ran out of product and started using a biotin shampoo and biotin supplements, also bought Latisse for my lashes. After suffering for over a year my hair is finally thicker and eyelashes are way better (buy Latisse people!). Caution - do NOT use this (very expensive) product.

    I have used WEN for a few years now. I diluted it by at least half with water. I did that to save money and also since each time I saw Chaz Dean on QVC he said to use a lot of water. I think diluting it so much might have saved me from becoming completely bald. I was taken in by what I was told and saw on his spot on QVC and thought my slow hair loss was because of something else like nutrition (even though I have a pretty clean diet). I always felt I wasn't getting "something" in my diet and that was why my hair has slowly thinned. Until I went to an organic salon and they used a clarifying shampoo on my hair. They told me that WEN has wax and other things that build up and give the appearance of healthy hair when in fact it makes it worse and worse. They told me to stop using it immediately and even told me there was a lawsuit.

    I started thinking about my hair loss and so went out to research only to find many many who thought as I did, that my hair loss was because of something else. I filled out the questionnaire for this Law Suit here CDFirm.com and encourage anyone else who feels the way I do that WEN has fooled them. I did find out from that site from the suit that there are ingredients that DISSOLVE hair! These ingredients can also damage the hair follicle according to what I read in the original LAW SUIT.

    After seeing the Wen Hair Care product commercials claiming to help hair to thicken, smoother and less frizzy hair, I thought that it would help my hair. So I purchased the full Wen care kit almost 2 months ago... I have all my receipts for proof...and in the past three weeks, I have noticed my hair getting shorter and shorter and I haven't cut it at all...also globs of hair have been coming out...ahhh...scary. The back of my hair is at least 2 inches shorter due to breakage and severe thinning...     I have baby fine hair and according to Wen, hair will be thicker, shinier and soft. I bought the initial package and started using the product, I didn't like the smell and the next day my hair felt sticky. I noticed that every time I shampooed my hair and combed it out, I would lose so much hair. It didn't occur to me that it was the shampoo, now I have several bald spots and I'm still losing hair. I've stopped using the product but now I feel like I have to wear a wig because of the bald spots. I'm embarrassed to go out with the way my hair looks so I now have to wear a hat.     Why oh why would a company send products that I did not request and full on try to do it month after month? Hold my credit card hostage, and keep taking money from it?     I read all these reviews for the first time. I never doubted the product because for the first times I used my hair was very soft and manageable and didn't tangle as before with other products. After reading other people's complaints I notice that I also have been losing more hair than usual. My hair is gorgeous and now I can't washed and combed easily.     I order WEN a few month ago. I was ordering it for a friend. I told the representative that I don't need auto reshipment. A month later I received this box from WEN company with the product and a bill that total $89.00 to bill over 3 months. I call and dispute their decision. I send it back and they refused my money. But the whole thing is that the product is not as good as they claim. It make your hair hard bristles.     I always had very thick hair. My hair started falling out shortly after I started using Wen. My stylists even made comments about how much was being lost just brushing it out. I told her this was every day. When I stopped using wen my hair stopped falling out by the handfuls. I have small little bald spots in areas on my scalp now.     I have very dry curly color treated hair with lots of breakage and hair fall. As I have aged it has been worse. I thought WEN would be the answer, but it was awful. My hair is just as dry and I swear it made my hair worse, not better. I started losing more hair and it was no softer, and the amount of money it cost, not to mention it recommend 50 pumps! How is a little bottle supposed to last a month! So I wrote it off and started using Nioxin. My hair improved and then I saw the ad on QVC for WEN with Chaz saying "You're not using it right, don't give up. Keep trying." Well let me tell you I bought one of those gallons so that I would have enough product to really give it a shot, and the result it the same.

    I used more than 1/2 of the gallon and over a period of 6 months and my hair is NO BETTER, maybe worse. My son who is only 10 used it a few times (and he has beautiful hair) and his hair became DRY and stuck up! My husband said it makes him itch. This stuff is HORRIBLE. I am tired of hearing that crook, yes crook go on about how if it isn't working you are not using it right. Well let me tell you, I have followed all of the directions, and used it for an extended amount of time (I figured I may as well use it rather than throw it away because it was so expensive!) and it does not work! It is shampoo, not rocket science. If it is that difficult to use and get proper results then it is JUNK. Do not waste your money or risk ruining your hair. Stick to Pureology or Nexxus even Suave or anything other than this stuff.

    I ordered WEN and was excited to try it. When it finally came and I followed the directions and my hair felt silky and it looked great. It wasn't until the 2nd washing did I really notice all the hair at the bottom of the shower. I went to get my hair cut and my stylist asked what have I been using on my hair. (I used to have very thick hair and when I got my haircut, I would have to get it thinned out too.) She said it was already thin and there were some receding bald spots that I never had. I stopped using the product and tried to contact them. Their system was down for a week and when I finally got ahold of them, they grilled me for 30-45 min. before they finally said they will cancel my account.

    I have not used their product in over a month and my hair is still falling out. I get emails from them asking me if I want to come back and I keep telling them no and to remove my account and stop contacting me. Now wherever I go and whoever I talk to I tell them not to use this product. After my hair started falling out I went onto website to read the reviews to see if this was happening to anyone else and there was a ton of people that this was happening to. Even when I watch TV I still see the commercials for WEN and don't know why they still play them when they get so much hate and bad reviews. This product sucks and you should not use it at all.

    I had great hair summer of 2012, then I started using the WEN cleansing conditioner because I became hooked on his infomercials...... The quantity and quality of my hair went down hill from there. Finally had to stop using his products once and for all. Went back to the salon quality products I can buy in the stores. It is taking forever for me to get the length back I used to have before I started using WEN and the thinness seems to be permanent. Used the finishing treatment on my ends and stuff left my hair course, stiff, and broke off leaving more hair in my brush than on my head. Worst products ever. One thing I didn't do was order from WEN. I purchased the first time from the home shopping channel (one individual purchase) then the rest I purchased off of eBay.     I started using WEN after my mom recommended it and swore by it. I love it. I have very thick hair and this feels fabulous on my dry, curly, frizzy hair. As a medical professional, I cannot imagine how a rational person could blame months of nausea and vomiting on a few uses of this product. That's called scamming for a lawsuit… They look for anything that they can get a few dollars out of a company. Our society is disgusting.     December of 2014 I became a customer after my daughter was given some WEN by a friend. Initially we like how healthy our hair looked and felt. In January I noticed a little hair loss but nothing extreme. Over the next 8-10 weeks the hair loss became worse, my hair also started breaking, one side of my hair became extremely thin also... I thought maybe it was hormones, change in diet, etc. until my youngest daughter started having the same problem. My hair quickly became so damaged I decided to cut it. I went from hair half way down my back to shoulder length and stopped using the WEN.

    I emailed customer service, explained what was happening to me and my daughter and asked what they were going to do? Within 72 hours I received a reply apologizing for our experience, canceling my future shipments, and clearing the balance on my last shipment. I replied thanking them and requested a full refund of all amounts paid since I became a customer. My email was forwarded to the necessary department. I was contacted within 48 hours by a very helpful compassionate understanding woman. It took several days for us to actually speak due to missing each other's phone calls. When we finally spoke she had already processed a refund, explained that is was not the entire amount but was about 75% of what I had paid over 5 months.

    She listened to my experience, sincerely apologized, gave me reference numbers for our conversation/refund, and said if I had any future problems to contact her. I'm thankful for having a positive experience with customer service despite having an unfortunate experience with the actual product. I hope my experience encourages others with questions/concerns to give customer service a chance. As for my hair, I stopped using WEN almost 4 weeks ago. Last night I noticed new hair growth in the thin areas.

    Bought the Wen hair products from QVC. Used the products for more than two years. Started having hair thinning problems right from the very start. Thought it was just a problem from getting older. Never put the two together.... My hair has gotten so thin, frail and lifeless.     I have been using WEN seriously for the past year and lost 1/3 of my hair volume in handfuls when I washed my hair. I have used it once in awhile but became more serious this past year unknowingly. I thought I had something wrong and have asked the dr. repeatedly.     I have used Wen for 5 years. It works very well. I haven't had any bad side effects at all. I did have a bad experience buying directly from Guthy Renker sellers of Wen. They are scammers. Buy only thru QVC! You get a better deal and no risk of them recharging or problems with returns. I bought the gallon when it is available and have had it for over a year. It lasts. I do have to occasionally use regular shampoo for a good clarifying once a month. Good product at good price.

    Apparently placing an order and getting a confirmation email doesn't guarantee you actually get an order. 15 days later here we are with no shipping info. I've called twice and both times the customer service takes about 15 mins to track my info and then the response is that the product is in the warehouse and ready to ship that day. Apparently this is a 'common' problem that they can't seem to fix. When I asked them to cancel, they say that nothing could be done on their end and the product shouldn't arrive anyways. If it arrives, I need to call back and will have to pay for return shipping. So even if an order is placed, there's no guarantee the product will actually arrive.

    I am sorry to hear that some folks had a bad experience, I on the other hand, couldn't have finally grown out, past a really bad hair extension problem. My hair had to be CUT short and was chemically stripped. When it would grow out a little, I would end up cutting it. Ordered Wen and used it for 2 years and I can't praise it enough. The only thing is it does get used to it, and it will start to remain flat sometimes. So have the bottle you normally use, changed occasionally. Because it will get used to it. Pricing is great because you don't need a lot! Servicing was good too! No overcharging you.. I highly recommend this product, especially if you are trying to get your hair back in better condition... I wish I could afford it again. Or I would be using it now! I had to give it up, and my hair shows it, due to becoming ill and not able to afford it right now. I will get it again as soon as my finances provide. Use it, you won't be disappointed.

    I have used WEN for over 5 years and I can tell you that my hair has never been healthier! I am not sure why some are experiencing hair loss. Hormonal changes cause hair loss and I can't imagine what my hair loss would have been like if I was not using WEN during my hormonal changes. My hairdresser started using the product after she noticed how healthy my hair was and she has been doing my hair now for 9 years. A year ago, I cut almost 14 inches off my hair and donated it. I was never able to grow my hair out that long before WEN. My entire family uses it and I have 2 girls, regular shampoo is a nightmare on their hair. Chaz Dean takes pride in his product and guarantees it as long as it is purchased from authorized sources (which I only purchase from QVC, Chaz Dean Salon or Sephora) and used exactly as directed.

    I started using WEN 7 years and love the way my hair looks & feels. I am shocked to see so many people complaining of hair-loss with the use of WEN. My hair is thicker & healthier since I've been using WEN. Prior to ordering, my hair was thinning out & I was noticing more hair in the shower drain than usual. I was quite concerned. Within 2 mo. after switching to WEN my hair looked, felt & truly was healthier than it had been in many years. I was in love! Initially, I stuck w/ the Sweet Almond Mint formula sent in my original order. It never occurred to me to try any other formula until about a year ago... At that time I noticed my hair was beginning to feel dry & I noticed more hair the shower again. So I called customer service and they assisted me in choosing another formula to better suit the current needs of my hair. They were fabulous!

    One thing to remember . ... Your hair changes! As we age, our hair requires different nutrients than it did when we were younger. Hormones play a HUGE role in the condition of our hair, as does the climate where you live. The changing of seasons can wreak havoc with your hair; especially fine curly hair, like mine.     I lost a lot of hair in every wash! My hair is thin enough already and I thought trying this product would help. It did quite the opposite. My hair kept falling off each time I tried it. I attached a pic of how much hair I lost on each wash. After 2 weeks of trying I gave up on it. Extremely disappointing! I called to cancel right away and the following month I still got the money withdrawn. I was very upset because when I called back they did show I called to cancel but they still shipped another order & charged my account. Then I started using WEN shampoo. My hair seemed nice and manageable with it. I used it for three months.... Until I lost a chuck of hair in the back right side of my head and the right front side where I lost another chunk! It happened overnight! I had no idea how it happened. I thought maybe the hair dryer had done it. Was completely perplexed and devastated...in tears.

    When I went to my hair salon, she was shocked and asked me what shampoo was I using and I said WEN ...she said stop using it immediately which I did. I wasn't sure if my hair would grow back. That happened in August 2014 and now it's May 25th 2015 and it has started to grow back a little at a time. My hair stylist gave me a complete hair cut. I also have been taking Biotin 5000 mg. religiously!

    I do not like the auto shipments either because there isn't enough time to stop it...meaning that I owe them 89.00. It's gone to collections. Im going to pay it so that they will leave me alone. I couldn't believe all these complaints...I just discovered this website...Now I truly believe it was the WEN!

    I have been using WEN shampoo and over the last two months my hair has been falling out at an alarming rate. At first I thought because I had turned 60 it was just a part of life but now I have total bald spots on the top of my head.     I was really excited to try WEN. When I received my shipment the invoice was addressed wrong. I live in Edson, Alberta and my invoice was addressed to Westlock, Alberta. So I called customer service and they said they would send me my 2nd shipment to the correct address only I never did receive it and WEN took the 2nd payment out of my account.     I would like to join the CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT for this product. Have hair falling out in handfuls. Started in 2012. Everything was okay until 2014. Now I have almost no hair remaining. I started with thin, straight hair, hoping this product would be safe for me. My doctor told me I was just under stress. My hairdresser and doctor stated that almost all women and men that used this product had many bald spots. I would like a complete refund for all I spent on QVC for this product plus my hair back.     I purchased the WEN shampoo June 2014. I washed my hair once every 3 weeks. It was great for the first 5 times until I noticed that my eyelashes were diminishing and I noticed more than normal amounts of hair in the drain (which I didn't even think it was the shampoo). So I used the product for a total of 10 months. Then the last batch I got, the patches of hair were coming out (My hair is down past the middle of my back and very full...lots of fine hair. Now my hair looks like straw -- very frail).

    In the meantime, throughout the year I kept having health issues that were unexplainable (to the point of being tested for allergies and nothing appeared). I had an infection that was unexplainable. My nerves were shot. Even my sinus and hearing were affected. Also my nose would bleed when I blew it after I used the shampoo. Speech impairment. Lack of concentration (I do accounting). My head hurts to the point I can feel every hair follicle on my head is full of pain. I have lost 3/4 of the thickness of my hair. I have 4 large patches of hair gone. Now for the rash on my hands and arms, totally horrifying, itchy and leaving scars. I am in the process of getting my liver tested for toxins as this product absorbs into the skin and scalp, then makes its way into the liver. Now that is scary and downright freaky that I messed up my health with shampoo and the company is still allowed to sell it.

    I feel I should be compensated for the money spent plus for the embarrassment and the anxiety. I have 8 bottles of the WEN shampoo that they will not take back. Isn't there a "customer satisfaction guarantee" money back if you are not satisfied? And now that I cannot even get out in the sun (for fear of getting the sun on my damaged scalp...who knows what issues will occur?) because my scalp feels like it is burning, and my arms and hands have to be covered so I don't get more damage.

    I am very unhappy with this situation. I have worked too hard all 52 years of my life to remain healthy (as natural as possible) to be messed up by this!! This is not right and justice needs to be done to stop this product from being sold or from causing such health issues. And if not, at least state it on the packaging and let us judge for ourselves if we want to destroy our own health. The thing that gets me -- When I call, they are not concerned. They simply don't care about their customers. It is all about the money to them. Greed, grrr...Well, Chaz Dean, karma will come back to get you!!

    I have been using Wen shampoo for years. Something has changed with their formula because I have noticed my hair is noticeably thinner. I'm wondering if his shampoo is made in China and some short cuts are being made with the ingredients? Maybe one of the plant ingredients was grown with large amounts of pesticides?     I placed two orders thinking it was a one-time deal. I was completely shocked when I discovered that 30 days later my account was charged over $100 and two more shipments were on their way. I called immediately and they said I just missed the note in the order summary section. I told them I read everything, even the terms and conditions ALL THE WAY THROUGH, and there was NOTHING which said I was on a replenishment program. They said their supervisor wasn't in (I had called at night because I had been at work and then in classes all day) and to call back tomorrow.

    I called during the day a couple days later because I was again unable to set aside a few hours (HOURS) to talk to the WEN/Guthy-Renker people. They again gave me the run-around. I have also been attempting to email and have used various contact forms, but to no avail. When they replied, they didn't even address most of my email, they only gave me the same spiel the folks over the phone did. I finally went back and took a screenshot of the form and called again. I didn't get anywhere with them. I returned everything, but they still charged me shipping, which is BULL because I never signed up for replenishment.

    They caused major overdraft on my account and made me late on other bills. Essentially, they wreaked havoc on my finances and claimed that they were in the right. I am a student, I ordered as a treat to myself. I CANNOT afford that crazy crap to be sent to me regularly for over $100 every few months! Just an FYI, I ordered on January 30th, 2015. It is now MAY 22 AND I AM STILL DEALING WITH THEIR CRAP. All they do in emails is say that the order summary said that I was signing up for the replenishment program, which as you can see in the screenshot, does NOT. Do NOT order from these cheats and liars. I was one of the lucky ones who found that this product did work well with my hair. I would have continued to be a loyal customer if they weren't such horrible people. Instead they turned all viking pillager on me and destroyed that relationship.

    The first time I used this product my hair started falling out. At first I didn't think about it but noticed that it keep falling out and large amount were found in the shower after each use. Told my hairdresser about it and she informed me about the lawsuit. My mother in law thinks its the best thing - so obviously this does not happen to everyone. Tossed the rest of the shampoo in the trash. Will never use it. Off to buy Nioxin shampoo to help it grow back.

    I ordered your set a year ago in the lavender scent. You sent me vanilla. I hate the smell of vanilla and called you. Instead of sending the lavender scent set, you send ONE bottle. I sent the vanilla set back and never got the complete set of lavender that I ordered and paid for. Then you send another set 6 weeks later and charge me 60.00. I still didn't get the 1st set I paid for. I called you and told you to cancel the subscription.

    I have been using WEN products for about 5 years but when I started using certain ones my hair started falling out in clumps. I went to my doctor and had blood work done and everything was normal. Then went to my dermatologist and had a scalp biopsy and it was normal. So after taking pics every week and could only let water run thru my hair once a week for over 3 to 4 months, my dermatologist started me on 2 prescription medications and also Rogaine for women and also take B12 shots every 2 to 3 weeks and have been doing all this for over 4 months. I now have about 1 1/2 inch of re growth. And needless to say I threw out the WEN products totally. It's been a horrible thing to deal with. Bought all WEN Products at QVC.

    Chaz Dean has only two products that I like a Re-Moist Hair Treatment and the Anti Frizz Styling Cream. I ordered an initial package for $39.00 which included these product plus a shampoo conditioner treatment, a texturizing spray, an anti frizz styling cream, and a replenishing cream. Three months later I was shipped another box and billed $41.00, and a third box again 3 months later and billed $41.00. At no time was I informed or requested additional orders. To add injury to insults the none of the subsequent orders included the Re-Moist Hair Treatment. I complained telling me I couldn't order a single product. So when I closed the account I was then told I could order Re-Moist Cream of 4 oz for $49 each and a minimum of 3 containers. This is price gouging and down right thievery. Buyer beware. Chaz Dean is not a businessman but a conman and a crook.

    I just canceled my membership. My hair is really thick, but when I started losing clumps of hair it freaked me out. I thought i wasn't getting enough vitamins then my hairdresser told me it was from that. They sent me an email confirming the cancellation, but it also said i owed a balance AND there were two shipments pending. I closed my debit card and sent an email back asking what they meant by the balance. What kind of business is this.

    I used WEN two times and it really did not feel any difference than it did when I washed with my own shampoo, so I decided to go back to my own shampoo and the first time I did it, when I washed the shampoo out my hair started falling out, I had NO hair in the front of my head. I cried, I did not know what to do. I did contact the WEN company but no success with that and also signed on a lawsuit that I have never heard anything else from.

    This happened to me almost two years ago and my hair is finally starting to grow back, but it is thin. My mom was ordering it every month so she told me to try it. Well then my mom noticed that her hair was breaking a little so she stopped using it too. Sad thing is that they took their time in stopping the charges on my mom's account for about four months after she had canceled. I tell everyone I know DO NOT USE WEN! I am a Black female and I have a fine grade of hair, I have found it does matter what kind you have if you go back to using your own shampoo, LOOK OUT! DO NOT use WEN.

    Have baby fine hair. Bought Wen from Qvc and gave it a try for several months. Made my hair more baby fine so in order to get more volume and manageability, I had to use other products. Now, the right side of my scalp I've discovered a painful scab and hair seems thinner now. Hair looks better after going to the salon!

    Now, with his new formulas I'm starting to itch all over and sneeze. I think Chaz Dean is a snake oil salesman and needs to be sued for misrepresentation. Won't buy again.

    The pomegranate line smells and the product is not worth the price. And less than a month after the first order, they automatically sent a 3 month kit and bill me over $100 and put me in their collections!! Forget trying to sent the product back especially if you're in their so called "collections department" because Wen makes it ridiculously difficult to return the product, even though the company does have a 60 day-no questions asked return policy. I not only needed a shipping label from Wen to return the product (but after for a 3 month supply, I really wanted one from them, anyway) but the company is supposed to supply the proper returning instructions too. But Wen was too dragging their feet and give every reason not to send the shipping label so I could return the product.

    I once again contacted the, for probably at least the 8th time, and a supervisor informed me the shipping label wasn't sent out yet because I was in their so called "collections" department. Ummm, I'm trying to return the product, after which, the company will OWE ME money... So, where is the logic in not sending the shipping label??? Also, I cannot cancel my membership, until I'm out of their "collections", and I won't be out of their collections until I can return the 3 month supply of product I didn't intend to receive in the first place...

    So, what a beautiful system of a scam they have!! Wen always asks for my email for verification purposes when I call. And I'm always receiving junk mail from this company, just if you ask for anything from them, such as shipping labels, or verification of membership cancellation, or just a written guarantee discussed while on the phone with them (whether it be a discount or just something they promised you while speaking with them). You always get the same ** response that they, in the 21st century, actually "don't do emails". WHAT?!?!?! So, you just have to take their word on everything they promise you when resolving your issues, be patient, and hope they don't screw you, which is exactly what I'm having to do right now... >:(

    I have lupus and fibromyalgia. Before I started using the Wen products, my hair came out in handfuls when I washed it. Since I began using Wen, not only has my hair loss stopped but my hair has grown longer than it has ever been. It is shiny and healthy. I have naturally curly hair and I no longer have to straighten it. A blow dry with a round brush is all I need now. With Wen, my hair feels like silk and is healthy. I believe the lawsuit claiming hair loss is just another case of people abusing the legal system.

    I have been using Wen cleansing conditioner for over one year and ordered two six count boxes from QVC OF THE REGULAR AND SEASONALS AND HAVEN'T EVEN OPENED THE BOXES YET. My hair has been falling out by the gobs. I had blood work done as many people said it may be my thyroid but everything was fine. I decided to look at Wen reviews and am stunned to read that so many others are or have experienced hair loss. I really hate seeing my scalp and cannot cover it up.     I use Wen products for two to three years, like the way my hair looked. Loss a lot of hair but thought it was the length of my hair since it was very long. Had my son try it - he got two bald spot. I thought it was the wen product, he stop using it. I still continued to use it. Then my tub - the water did not go down the drain and fought with the owner after he came over several times. He insisted it was something I was using. He end up raising my rent $35.00. Then I read the review and saw someone had the same problem. I stop using the product. I call QVC, they told me to return the product and they will refund my $171.00 for I had brought the gallon. So that's where I am know. Still trying to clean out my drain.

    Great Product and I agree with others that they do not need to force this on anyone. This last month I had THREE charges on my credit card acct for over $47,00[sic] each. I already paid to join and these monthly payments are so not understood. I would gladly buy this product, but I refuse to be taken for this amount all in one month. And, now they say I still owe money $27.50. I will pay it, but do not understand what it is for. So far I have received the original shipment and about two weeks ago received a HUGE ORDER. I guess they choose for you and then charge you. I don't know, as it is very confusing. I hope they change their method. If I JOIN which I did and then had all these multiple monthly charges, I get the product at a reduced price. Well, then what are the repeated charges EVERY month for????     It never bothered me until my own sister told me to not to use Wen hair products due to the stories of woman losing their hair. Really? I asked, because my hair has actually started to grow after using Wen. I like many woman have thin hair but I have alot of it, problem for me was after I had children my hair just stop growing years ago. About a year ago however, I started using Wen products faithfully nothing else and my hair felt better, stayed cleaner, longer and looked healthier. I went from having to wash my hair daily just to make it look good to washing it every 3 or 4 day if I wanted to. So for all those people out there unsure about this stuff, let me tell you that I couldn't be happier. Is it for everyone? Maybe not but then what is after all everybody is different.     About a year ago after watching an infomercial for Wen I decided to purchase these great cleansing products because I thought it would make my hair more healthy. Upon the first time of using Wen I noticed an abnormal amount of hair loss in the shower, about two handfuls and then another handful when I would brush my hair and a fourth handful when I would style it. I discussed this with my family physician and he assured me that this was normal and caused by stress and that I should not worry about it because it would grow back.

    Well after about a week of using Wen cleansing conditioner I noticed my hair was looking and feeling very greasy so I discontinued using it as a shampoo and conditioner and just started using it as a leave on conditioner and I also used the anti-frizz styling gel. At this point of after about a weeks I also started noticing that I was getting scalp acne and having daily migraines, migraines so bad that I had to start taking prescription migraine pills named sumatriptan to stop them and propranolol to try to prevent them. The sumatriptan worked to put the other medicine did not. These conditions never existed before my using any Wen products. Until I came across the news of the lawsuit I never thought to put two and two together that my scalp acne and my hair loss and my daily migraines were being caused by these products I just assumed they were due to stress and anxiety and so did my family doctor.

    I have not used Wen products for about two weeks, within the first week my migraines decreased by about 50% and so did my scalp acne and now I am not having daily migraines and my scalp acne has decreased greatly although I am still experiencing some hair loss. It has been a very painful experience this past year dealing with my scalp acne and my daily migraines. Some days the migraines were so bad that I couldn't even get out of bed let alone function on other days. The acne also was very painful. My hair used to be nice and thick and full and and now it is so thin and lifeless. Because my hair loss was so great I had to change my hair style from long to short to make it appear that my hair still had body and volume to it.

    I had ordered WEN in April 2014. I received 2 shipments and cancelled my order in August 2014, as I did not like the way my hair looked and it had the same smell as the shampoo I use on my dogs. I have not received any more product since. To my surprise on May 4, 2015 my checking account had two debits of $47.93 to WEN hair care products. I called customer service and was told that I had reactivated my account. I explained that I had done no such thing as I did not like the product. I was told my account would be credited in 2-3 days, and they were mailing me a return label to send back the product.

    I called WEN again today May 11, 2015 as my account has still not been credited. I was told they shipped me a package on May 6 (even though I had called them on May 4 to tell them I did not order the product) and a return authorization was being sent out and they would credit my account once the package was returned and that it would take six to eight weeks to receive my refund. I stated I should not have to wait for a refund for something I did not order in the first place. I was told they would put in a refund for a return and I should get a credit to my account in 3-5 days. I will be cancelling my debit card so WEN can't reactivate my account anytime they feel like it.

    I wanted to try this product and spent $49 to order a deluxe kit. I was excited to use the product, but people started asking did I cut my hair. Why did it look short and thin? I had a thick head of beautiful hair but my hair is so thin on my scalp. I can even feel air on my scalp in the middle of my head. I noticed additional charges to my account and quickly called and let them know I did not order any more of their products. They stated that had shipped me a 3 month supply and charged my credit card. I shipped the product back once I received it a week later. I've been waiting on my refund for 3 weeks now.     Hi my name is Joanna. I ordered Wen wanting to try it so I got my shipment in the mail last year. When I first tried it I had a bad migraine headache. It was very strong then my second time I used it I started feeling sick to my stomach and another bad migraine headache. I have curly hair so I thought it would be good for my hair. Then I washed my hair again then I noted I got sick again. So I said ok this is not my fault. It's something to do with the products. So I stopped using it. I noticed I started get a lot of sores on my head. Very embarrassing and very big and sore. So I called Wen and told them to cancel all my shipments delivered to my PO box in freeport.

    A week after stop using my products of Wen I started getting very bad migraine headaches and very dizzy so I made a appointment to go see a doctor. I went to see my doctor and he checked my blood. Everything was good with my blood work. I have been very sick. Since then I don't work anymore because I get very dizzy and sick. I can only eat certain food now because I get too sick when I have my bad migraine headaches. I am on medication, been on doctor's care 7 months since I started Wen products.

    My doctor can't find out why I am sick. When I go to bed at night I have to put ice on my head all night because I am sick with a bad migraine headache and very dizzy. I have to do this every night and everyday. When I wake up I am in agony with a bad migraine headache and very dizzy spinning every day. I am getting where I can't drive anymore. I get out once a week for 1 hour then I have to go home because I get very sick and dizzy. The reason it's taking me so long to say anything. I didn't know until today. I made a appointment to get my hair done and my hair dresser discovered my hair loss and I told her I have been very sick and very dizzy on doctor's care trying to get better. Thank you.

    I have been using WEN cleansing conditioner for about a year. I just find out from a friend about lawsuit against this product. After reading some of the complaints about this product I have to say, I didn't have any of the above experiences. My hair never looked better. I think the product is not overpriced. It comes in large 16oz bottle and last long time. Also you don't have to buy conditioner or other products. My experience with customer service was very good. I always can adjust how much product I need. I used lavender, fig and six thirteen. I used styling products in sweet almond mint like replenishing treatment mist, straightening serum etc. No problem whatsoever.

    It is hard to believe that people who use the product for two years suddenly noticed hair loss when there is a lawsuit. Probably hoping to make some money in the process. This is my honest review of this product. I was actually recommending it to a friend when another friend told me about the lawsuit. That is why I am checking the reviews to see what it is about . For me it's hard to believe that this product cause hair loss. It could be cause some other health problem of the individual. Despite all of those complaints I am going to use WEN.

    I purchased the Wen products based on the advertised money back guarantee. I used the products several times following the enclosed instructions but was not happy with the look and feel of my hair. I called to cancel my membership and get instructions about returning the used product back but was told that it takes 4 to 6 weeks to process a return and that I would not be able to get a refund. According to the customer service representative the clock starts ticking when I placed the order even though I did not receive the product for another week or more. In short, I feel duped!     Their product made my hair so oily it looked like I didn't wash it for a year. I called, she said she canceled me. I didn't cancel in enough time, my second shipment was on the way. I returned it, they have not refunded my money for that shipment. They have taken out the cost of another shipment. O and they do not let you know beforehand that they are going to put you on auto-order. These people are something else. Their shampoo is not good. I want my hundred bucks back. It would be nice to have my money back from the the first order, because it is not a good product. I am going to put this all over the internet. Thanks.

    I have been using WEN products for a number of years and I feel I must comment. First, they were very clear on EVERY order I placed that I was signing up for auto refills unless I called to cancel. I have done this several times because it is cheaper to take the deal of 29.99 and call to cancel, than to pay full price. I have never had a single problem cancelling the auto fill. I also have had no problems changing my order from one scent to another or back again. I am sorry for those of you that have had issues, but I can't help but think you should have paid closer attention to the advertisements and the customer service representative you signed up with.

    As for my hair, it is WONDERFUL since I began using WEN. I have extremely curly hair which was quite frizzy. WEN has tamed the curls into nice un-frizzy coils that I never thought would be possible (I also use the styling cream). I have absolutely no issues with hair falling out or heaviness. I also have extremely coarse hair, not fine. I think it is possible some may be allergic to an ingredient which could cause hair loss, but none of my friends that have switched to WEN have had any issues either (none of them have thin hair either).

    Bought 2 boxes of 3 bottles mixed cleansing conditioner from QVC. Used it sparingly. After about a year and half, just one day I noticed my hair falling out. Went to the dermatologist. She didn't know why. My family doctor doesn't know either...the lady that does my hair. No test could confirm why I'm losing my hair. I had given a bottle to my sister for my niece that's disabled, that gets knotted hair, and thought it would help her. Within about a month she started losing her hair. I googled it and saw one posting on WEN and could not believe all the negative reviews. I stopped using it. Called my sister told her to stop. But to this day I'm still losing tons of hair everyday!!

    I have been using Wen for a year now, my hair looks great, is fuller than ever and gets compliments almost daily! My 15 year old daughter also started using the product and she also complained like some of these reviewers, saying her hair was oily and itchy bumps in her scalp. I asked her to go over the steps of washing her hair and I asked her if she was rinsing her hair out completely each time and I assured her that it takes time rinsing it out but that would fix that. She is still using the product.

    I myself started getting itchy bumps but I started scrubbing my scalp, using nails and figure tips, the first treatment then completed the processes and after about 1 - 2 months realized that maybe I should just use it like the directions say and no more bumps, and I use to wash my hair everyday cause I had too due to the oil and after about 3 washes with Wen, I now wash my hair every 2-3 days or sooner if needed. I use to pull out wads of hair every shower and after using Wen I now lose maybe 1/4 of what I use to lose and my hair is so much fuller! My daughter and I love Wen although needs better customer service.

    My friend got a bottle of Wen for Christmas and she didn't use it that often so I asked her if I could try it. I have oily hair and I hate regular shampoos and try to wash my hair every 3 days but by then it's extremely greasy and dry shampoos usually only help me for a day or 2 of that. So I was wanting something that I could use more often and wouldn't damage my hair and this seemed to be the answer. Now I take really good care of my hair. I have researched like crazy and baby it as much as I can. I brush my hair before I wash it, shampoo by rubbing the hair in between my hands, brush conditioner through my hair with a wide tooth comb and always start from the bottom to the top, dry my hair out by gently squeezing it with a t-shirt, hardly ever blow dry it and when I do I use a heat protector spray. I use a hair mask once a week, brush it only once when it's wet, and I take biotin 5,000mg. I follow this routine like a religion!!

    Since I've been doing this I only need to trim my hair every 3 months. I used Wen ONE TIME AND HAVE HORRIBLE SPLIT ENDS!!!! So glad I didn't order this either because I can't afford to be part of these horror stories that I've been reading on here. I'm a healthy 23 year old and don't have any health issues. I was doing some more research and started reading about people who had their hair fall out in clumps. I'm so glad I only used it once. I put way too much work in my hair to have it fall out!! I can't believe this product does this. You would think this guy would try and look into it and try changing it. If he truly cared about our hair like he says he does on the commercial he would recall it and change the formula. With it still being sold even if he does change the formula I still wouldn't buy it.     I started using Wen products about a year ago after a friend introduced me to their line. I originally loved the scent and how shiny my hair was but I noticed my hair became increasingly thinner at time went on. To the point my fiance was pulling clumps from the drain, not to mention sweeping up hair from the floors. My hairline is broken and I have balding patterns at the temples. My pony tail USED to be thick and now it's so thin I just tuck it under a hat! My wedding is in five months and my hair looks terrible! I too thought it was due to some underlying health issue but was checked out and I'm healthy.

    My new hairdresser just happen to mention that Wen is known for causing hair loss and I was shocked to hear it. I stopped using Wen about two weeks ago and have not seen a change in the amount of hair loss. It's still coming out! Prior to using this crap I may have lost 20-40 strands per washing. Now it's well above that. If there is a class action lawsuit against Chaz, I would like to join it. I purchased my bottles from Sephora. So glad I never joined the auto ship.     I ordered this product and my next order was supposed to ship 07/04/15. Instead they took money in May. I called and the csr told me it "sorry but it is set to auto ship". Yea. In JULY. I told her to REFUND me and she tried to make another excuse. I had to raise my voice to get her to refund me and cancel my subscription. I don't see a large difference in this shampoo and other shampoos anyway. I read reviews that said this was a bad experience. I should have listened.

    My hair starting falling out a few days after I started using it but I didn't make the connection until about six weeks later, after weeks of trying to figure out what was going on. It occurred to me that my hair started falling out after I started using this product so I googled and found the lawsuits and others with similar issues.     After buying Wen hair care I found my hair thinning. I then found out that somewhere online when I ordered it it said they are going to send you 90 day supply then of course never send you a notification they will be taking out of your account. Now I have to borrow money so my electric bill and gas bill won't bounce. Very misleading and get this because package was in their warehouse they couldn't cancel my order. AND they were going to give me 24 cents credit - get that 24 cents credit. What a horrible customer service, horrible product.

    I don't understand why some people are complaining of hair loss when using the Wen products. Because I have been using Wen for a few years now and my hair has never felt or looked as healthy. My experience with Wen is amazing. I wish people will just use the product like it indicates so they may end up with the same results.     After having seen the commercial for the last month or so, I called to place an order. I spoke with a young lady who is eager to take my credit card #. I did ask if there were going to be recurring charges on my card, because I have had this problem in the past when ordering stuff off of television. She explained yes but that I could opt out even before my 30 day trial was up. I was leery, but proceeded. After giving her my credit card number she attempted to upsell my order, this was very off putting to me. I decided not to proceed with the order. She diligently attempted to get me to continue with the order and I adamantly declined, telling her that I would like to research the company before placing the order.

    I am so glad I did! What horrifying experiences you ladies have had. This company definitely needs to be sued, you all need file a class action suit. This company and the people who back it are nothing but a bunch of dirty rotten shysters. And not to mention they're outsourcing American jobs!     I started using Wen about 5 years ago after I saw the commercial stating "it was the best thing for my hair." My hair did become soft but in the past couple of years it has started falling out at a rapid rate. Everyday I find hair on the floor, sink, etc. After I wash my hair my comb is full of hair. I had thought it was because my hair was long but I now have noticed 2 balding spots (1 on each side of my head). I talked to my hairdresser and she told me about the lair against Wen and told me to stop using the product immediately.

    I bought this hair care system a year or so back and I heard positive things about it. After about a month, I started noticing I was losing chunks of hair in the shower. After about 3 months, my hair had thinned and was very fragile.     WEN by Chaz Dean Cleansing Conditioner Tea Tree One Gallon Item Price: $177.00. 1st the pump broke known issue. 2nd I started finding hair balls everywhere in my house. 3rd hairdresser told me to change shampoos my hair was becoming like straw. I used to have very fine oily hair and now my hair is a big fuzzy mess. You can see through my hair onto my scalp and I have sores that have formed. I had to have all my damaged hair cut off.     I ordered the promotional product and don't care for the product. It leaves my hair with fly aways and it feels dirty. I didn't realize it was on auto renewal, so when I received another shipment, I promptly returned it and called to cancel any future shipments. Once I received confirmation that they received the shipment, I called and asked for a refund, which they did right away.     I, like many others, find that it leaves my hair greasy and flat on top. As such, I use regular shampoo on the top of my head and the WEN on the rest. I am pleased with the results. I WOULD NOT, however, order directly from them. You can only buy directly from them if you agree to auto refills and then, when you try to get onto their site to change your order or cancel it, the site is always down for "Maintenance" requiring you to call their 800 number. After 5 minutes of having to listen to their ads, you will finally get a live rep. If you try to cancel your subscription, you must be nasty about it or they will not let you go. Further, they refuse to send you confirming emails for cancelling your account. To avoid all of this, order from Amazon. You get the same products, for the same price, but without the hassle of the actual WEN site or the need to sign up for auto refills!

    So, I ordered the discounted product set, as seen on TV, from Wen, from their official website. Got it, used it, it was ok, didn't do that much for my hair to be honest. Then about a month later, they send me the whole enchilada, $150.00, charged me a little more than one third of a scheduled three increment payment system. I called immediately to ask why they sent me this, and the girl on the phone told me that I got the "replenishing" program, which means they send me product every 3 months. (I don't recall a choice when ordering online, I guess it goes to say that if you order the discounted product you are automatically ordering this "replenishing" program. Somewhere in the fine print I'm assuming it explains this, because that's not what they are advertising on TV or online.)

    Then I question that the use of the word "replenishing" to indicate a system of automatic reordering, doesn't every hair care produce in the world use this word to describe how the product helps your hair. Wen actually has a product called a "replenishing treatment mist", and it presumably replenishes your hair, not their bank account. It's a clear misuse of the word to trick people in to signing up for something that is not clearly described to them, to me this is shady and underhanded right out of the gate. So then the sales agent tells me, I can ship the package back to them, at my expense, and after about a min. of 6 weeks of processing I should get my money back, but in the meantime they will charge me for the remainder of the payments...

    So then a couple more weeks pass and I haven't shipped it out yet. It's a large and heavy package, it's going to cost me at least $20.00 to send it back. So I call again and ask the sales agent if I can drive it to the location it was shipped from. It's in Burlington, I'm in Hamilton, not far, cheaper than shipping, can I do this? She replies, "yes, you can do that". Then I ask, "I cancelled that credit card, how will you return my money to me if I don't have a card, and I'm not getting a new one?" She tells me that credit card is the form of payment they accept so it has to be returned the same way, to which I reply, "no, if I send you the product back, you don't get to keep my money, so how will you return my money under these circumstances?" She repeated herself a couple times before hanging up on me, or I got "cut off".

    So I call back, speak to another agent, she tells me the same thing - yes I can return to the return address shipping location, but this time tells me they will issue a cheque, but it will take a long time. I ask, "can I talk to the people in the warehouse about it when I drop it off?", and she says, yes. Perfect... So I drive it down, get to the warehouse, whose door was locked with a sign that reads "we do not accept drop offs from the public", so after venturing all the way down there, getting sass from some vacuum repair man, and finding the doors locked, I'm pissed. I call again in the parking lot asking WTF! Two sales agents told me I could do this, and I get here and can't, what the hell? The guy was very apologetic and told me to call back in a couple days when their system is back up and running. He made a note of it on my account in the mean time, but if I could call back...

    This product is a total rip off, not worth $600 a year for sure! If there was ever a chance of me reordering this product in the future, it went out the window as soon as they sent me the "replenishing" package.

    I receive the product on Friday 24 and used it on Saturday, following their instructions. After washing my hair I noticed they were in bundle of knots, that I had to pull out. I even took pictures how the comb couldn't pass through the hair and the amount of knots it had. Then I felt itching, and I don't know if me having a sore throat and nose run has anything to do with the product. Because Since Saturday night after washing my hair, my throat start to hurt up to today, and I was perfectly fine prior to that. I think this is a money making thing.

I called to cancel, no one would pick up the phone, so I emailed and they sent me an email saying it was cancelled. I got a package in the mail anyway and decided to try it anyway.     I'm writing this review to help those that are interested in trying WEN or those that feel like they have been scammed...I felt I was too, but I got out of it, I'll tell you how. If I could help one person make a better decision that is right for them, my goal is accomplished. First off, if you want to try WEN, for the love of all sanity, go to eBay, go to Amazon go somewhere else but the company itself to buy yourself a bottle!

    Then you can sleep at night not worrying about what Guthy-Renker (WEN's marketing partner) or WEN is doing with the information you gave them! I hate to call them out like that, but obviously, this has been an ongoing problem that hasn't been resolved. I'm pretty sure both parties know what is happening to their customers... I mean, they kind of have to know vaguely what is going on unless they don't have reliable access to ...idk, the internet.

    This is my current recollection of my story. Your experience might not be the same, but it may be similar. Like most people, I ordered WEN to try it out. This was through their website. The product itself wasn't horrible or anything, but it wasn't right for me. So, I called to cancel further shipments because I knew many infomercial products (ProActiv, WEN, etc.) are subscription products. This is where it all went downhill.

    So, like I said, I had called to cancel within a month, a lady said that my order is canceled and I would not receive any further shipments. The End? No, not exactly. I received a shipment of approximately 3 months worth of products, and was charged 3 payments of $33. Of course, I called them and had to ask what is going on. Apparently nothing was canceled the last time I called.. What? Why not?? That's when I started to question this company.

    The man I talked to said he will cancel and I will receive an email saying that I canceled. I eventually ask what steps I needed to take to return the products. They eventually offered me a prepaid shipping label (so I wouldn't have to pay out of pocket) to send the products back. It would take about 10 business days. About 2 weeks passed, I called again because there was no shipping label. Whoops? The rep said they will send me another one, about 10 more business days.

    A few weeks later, I called because there were still no shipping label... I was quite upset at this point. The rep says that the previous shipping labels were sent to my "billing" address (where I don't live). Why would any righteous company send a shipping label to the address where the products weren't shipped to? I said ok, I will check but I don't live there...and asked if they could send one to my physical, shipping address? The rep said yes, in about 10 business days... (I later checked my billing address, there were no labels found).

    At this point, naturally, it would be easy to just "forget" about this whole annoying process because I was busy with other things. But I wanted justice. I wanted to see how far they will take it. I called again in about 3 weeks because no label...AGAIN. They said they will send me another one... Ok, so this whole process went on for about 2 to 3 more times I think. I figured they are just trying to draw out time, hoping that customers will just give up or forget about it.

    After a few months, I figured that either this label doesn't exist or something else is wrong within their system, but I was done waiting. I went online and found out that WEN is a member of the BBB. WHAT? WEN IS A MEMBER OF THE BBB!?! Yes! They are indeed. That's when I knew this was all over. This whole guessing game charade was over.

    I immediately filed a BBB complaint against Wen Hair Care, telling them what happened. In about a week, like magic, no questions asked, no calls or emails, no contact from WEN, smooth as a sail, unbeknownst to me really, I saw the money back in my bank account. Granted, I wasn't refunded the full 3 payments of $33 something dollars back, but they gave me 3 payments of 29.95 or something like that back. I don't know if that label is ever coming. I'm just glad that BBB helped straighten things out. So, what's the lesson? Order eBay, order Amazon, order anywhere else but WEN if you want to try WEN. If they won't give you your money back and treated you unfairly, contact the BBB, they can probably help.

    I used WEN for about, I don't know a year and at first my hair felt soft. But I also noticed how heavy my hair felt 2 days later--too much oil in my hair. But almost immediately I noticed my hair was falling out when I combed it. At the time I thought it was due to something else. I eventually stopped using the product and have not used WEN in over 16 months, but the hair loss is very noticeable. If you take a picture of me from behind my hair looks like a thin layer of hair and visible scalp. Basically if I put my hair in a ponytail fashion in my hand the hair it only as big around as a dime. This is sad and embarrassing because I know everyone can see it with me being only 4'10". I am at wits end because I want thicker hair. WEN stole my hair and I would like it back.

    I have been purchasing WEN products from QVC for over a year now. I've been very happy with these products until recently. I started noticing a lot of my hair falling off as I was washing it in the shower. Not to mention how much hair I was losing as I was combing through it afterwards. I feel completely deceived. I do love the way it makes my hair look and feel but having to deal with some hair loss is certainly not worth it! Based on all the reviews I read & my own experience I started using traditional shampoos and conditioners again. It's been 1 week and I've had absolutely no hair loss! Unfortunately I still have three unopened bottles of WEN. I'm hoping that QVC will accept these returns. So disappointed.

    I have been using Wen for and have thankfully alternated between the styling products that use or I could be completely bald right now. I purchased the fig from QVC because Chaz made me believe that my naturally curly hair could miraculously look like the models in one use! It never occurred to me that the amount of hair on the shower floor was not normal. Luckily I have a lot of hair. I was losing hair in the top of my head because that is where I always applied the shampoo first. I noticed that my hair continued to grow in the front and back but was really short on the top!! It was not until I caught wind of the class action lawsuit that I even considered it could be the Wen products. I have discontinued using it, trimmed my hair and hopefully I will never experience this again. Into the garbage these products will go.

    Beware of Wen by Chaz Dean's shampoo/conditioner products as relates to significant Hair Loss! Check out the class action suit just filed on 03/17/15 regarding women's experiences. My experience with hair loss is similar to what has been documented in this filing but my goal is education & prevention here! I HAD a full head of thick healthy hair & wanted to keep it. I saw the Wen infomercial & decided to try it. I only used them for less than a month & noticed my hair texture was worse with clumps of hair in drain!! I immediately stopped using the products & returned all. I am now left with bald patches all over my scalp & no easy or inexpensive resolution.

    I have used Wen for 3 months and about a month and a half ago, I noticed my shower clogging every night. When I cleaned drain, I was so so so so shocked to see it was huge clumps of my hair falling out. I never would have guessed it was this product until reading everyone's reviews. I am 31 yrs old. Hair loss in females do not run in my family, before Wen I had seriously thick hair! The hair salon always complimented me on how thick it was.     I have read many of the complaints about Wen hair products, & I must admit am shocked. I never experienced any hair loss, and I found the products to be as advertised. However am of mixed ethnic background and I don't wash my hair every day. I wash it once or twice a week to preserve it's natural oils, so maybe some of the complaints are because of the over washing of the hair. I love the products, but my issue is the auto-shipping. Because it may take me two months to use up a bottle, I was stockpiling late a store. After I canceled, they still billed me. Now I buy what I want, when I want without shipping costs from Sephora and am done with Q.V.C. with auto shipping.

    I ordered through one of the promotions on TV. The price was $40.00 for a 3 month supply. Once I received my kit, I read that Wen will continue to order and send the same kit every 3 months unless I call and cancel. Well, I liked the product so I allowed Wen to continue to charge my card for the next 3 months. Anyway, my husband asked me why Wen charged our account in the amount of $60. I then called Wen customer service and the woman told me that they are sending me a kit that will cover the next 3 months in advanced. I told her that I didn't ask for that and that I ordered under a promotional advertisement that was $40.00… I didn't request anything different. I then told her to cancel my card information. She then asked me if there was anything they could do to keep me and I told her no because they are already charging me for things I didn't ask for.

    Long story short, they still sent me an invoice stating that I owed them $40.00 after I canceled. I called again to get them to get rid of the charge and they refused. It's been a year now and now, the $40.00 has been sent to collections. They did nothing to help keep me as a satisfied customer. They are money hungry for a product that only worked for the first 2 months. After that, me and my daughter's hair is back to its original state (before we used Wen products). I see no difference anymore. It's like we use regular conditioner in our hair.

    I did not have the same experience as others here with regard to unauthorized charges. When I wanted to change my orders and product it was not a problem. And when I discontinued and began ordering out of the catalog instead of auto ship, it was not an issue. Like many other women here, I was thrilled with the results of this product. It made my hair so soft and very manageable. I still love it BUT... I get itchy bumps. And the past three times I went to get my hair done I asked my stylist if she noticed my hair thinning... She said "no" but I could see it coming out, every time I washed and then right after when I brushed, on my pillow, on my clothing... I don't think the stylist noticed because I had so much hair. Not anymore. My part is very pronounced and I can see my scalp through my hair. I thought it was age. This is horrible. I will not use it again. I really hope it grows back. I have lost a lot of hair.

    This is the first complaint that I have ever sent in on anything, having lived 50 years on this planet. The advertising is awesome & sucks you in. I bought this for my wife as a Christmas gift. The shampoo products were ok, but nothing that you couldn't buy over the shelf. However, when you try to cancel with them, they already have it set up that more products are coming your way. In the meantime they bombard you with continuous emails, and additional bills. I cancelled with Wen in January, it is now April 20, 2015, and we are finally clear of any emails, bills from Wen, & long waits on the telephone on hold explaining our situation.     After using Wen for only a month, I noticed my hair felt greasy and heavy... it did not feel clean. My hair is normally dry and I thought this would help but it was way too much. It took 2 weeks to get my hair back to feeling "normal". And even though I paid for the first shipment, I continued to receive bills for $39.99, so I packed it all up and sent it back with a note that their product was NOT what I expected. Unlike others, I did recieve confirmation that the product was received and my account would be credited - I am waiting for that credit to go through... I really thought this would be a great product but I was totally disappointed with it.

    I ordered WEN about 2 months ago. I used it and immediately my hair got limp at my roots all over my head. A day later I noticed I had major thinning at my roots, and severe breakage at my ends. Before using this product my hair was very thick and dense, and not damaged at all. My hair is starting to finally come in now but this was very traumatizing.

    I thought I was paying a one time fee. My hair fell out in globs and when I told the girl that on the phone she wasn't surprised and NO ONE EVER contacted me for any rhyme reason or refund. These commercials make me sick to my stomach and I use to like some of those "celebrities." Now I don't respect any of them. Maybe spending all that $ at his salon makes the difference.

    I ordered Wen last month (March) and I ordered just one small package for $25.00. Well, I've used the product about 8-10 times and my hair has been falling out and breaking horribly! This entire time I thought that the breaking was due to maybe dying too much. When I say that my hair breaks off, I mean it breaks off BAD! I run the comb through my hair and my entire bathroom floor is covered in hair! When I go to sweep it up, the whole dustpan is piled high with my broken hair. Until just reading the other complaints on here, I would have never thought it was from the Wen!!!

    I originally got on here to complain about how the company sent me another package the other day (a 3 month supply) and in the package was a statement saying that on 4/14/15 they took another $33.94 out of my bank account. I called them and after speaking to a representative for about an hour because I couldn't understand anything he was saying because he could barely speak English, he advised me that in 3-5 days they would refund my money and in 5-7 days I will receive a return shipping label and that he has cancelled my membership (that I didn't even know I signed up for!!!). After reading everyone's reviews, I'm going to call my bank in the morning and block Wen from taking any more money from my account and pray that they return my money as they said they will. I will no longer be using the product and I will be sure to tell everyone I know about this terrible product and scam!

    I will be accurate and fair with my comments, and it's too bad that WEN IS NOT accurate and fair in commerce!! My story: About 6 or 8 weeks after placing an initial order, to my surprise I received a Replenishment Supply. Of course I did not knowingly place this order, IT IS HIDDEN somewhere within the Terms and Conditions (or so explains my bank). With no way to communicate with WEN (see below), I sent several irate emails with various subject lines in their Contact Us Email window. After waiting several days and initiating a dispute of the charge with my bank, I received an email that they had cancelled my account, and that they would only collect for the balance of that initial Replenishing Supply Order.

    Another email followed (in reply to one of the several screamers I sent), to say that someone had been in touch with me so they would consider the matter resolved/closed within two days. More ALL CAPS replies were sent and finally I received an email from Corporate Escalation (yes, I'm talking to you!). Finally they replied that they were sending a return label and accepted to refund my money. I replied that I'd returned the product... and I'll let everyone here know if I get the refund.

    I URGE YOU TO RETURN THE PACKAGE VIA A SERVICE THAT TRACKS DELIVERY (I have yet to receive the USPS return receipt card, but do have verification via the tracking number online). Additionally, I URGE YOU TO REFRAIN FROM OPENING THE BOX OF THE PRODUCT, AS IT IS YOUR PROOF THAT YOU DID NOT ORDER IT AND DO NOT WANT IT.

    Be prepared for WEN's customer service telephone numbers to constantly ring busy, to be unable to find a link on their website to "chat" with customer service, to be unable to alter your "account" in any way, i.e., impossible to delete your credit card information, to be unable to reduce the shipping frequency to "0" weeks, for your bank to initially decline your dispute of the charge, because they will say that you agreed (whether or not knowingly) to the Replenishing Shipment when you made the initial purchase (btw, when you receive the email confirmation of the initial purchase - NOWHERE DOES IT STATE THAT YOU HAVE BEEN ROOKED INTO A MEMBERSHIP OR REPEAT SHIPMENTS!!) Hope this is helpful to all. :)

    From what I have read, it’s not the shampoo that is being reviewed. I and my daughter use the shampoo and both have received compliments. Buy the product from Qvc, several differ sizes etc. and all free to return w/in 30 days. Cannot go wrong with that. Also please read and follow the directions, if you do your hair will not be greasy and you do need to make sure to rinse properly. Who can't handle a few extra mins. under the warm water? Hope this helps because from what I read, it was not the product being reviewed.

    I ordered Wen from Guthy Runker and received it for a while. My friend that got me started on it swore she only paid $20. No it was just under $90. I also got the worst scents only from them. I agree with everyone else, they don't read my letters and there is no other way to opt out. I was forced to change banks to get them out of my account, countless trips to post office to return. I just wrote them one last letter, whoever opens it may just read it before throwing it in the trash, telling them to come and get it themselves. Please note it’s been two years.     I tried this product and within two week started losing hair. I called and complained and they informed that in the beginning it is getting rid of the loose hair. When after month of using it I was still losing hair called back to complain and I was lying that their product doesn't cause hair loss. I tried wen on two different times a year apart with the same result in losing hair and they still are calling me a liar.

    From the start, this product made my hair a mess! I have fine, oily hair so I chose the lavender product for my hair type. I used the product for only 3 days. It left my scalp greasy and the rest of it feels like straw. My hair use to be like silk and now I'm left wondering how long and what lengths I'm going to have to go through to get my hair back like it was. Also, when I called to cancel I was told it would take 4-6 weeks AFTER they receive the product back before I'd get my refund. Didn't take that long to charge my card. Any other place I've shopped (like Shoebuy, Zappos or Amazon) will credit your card the day UPS scans the return label.

    I tried Wen a few years ago at the urging of co-workers. One who purported to have fine and thin hair said it was wonderful. I foolishly bought a large bottle of the treatment. My hair was limp and lifeless. I couldn't get any volume even with all kinds of volumizing hair products. Also, when I checked out the ingredients on some scientific and consumer websites, I found that several are on their toxic lists so every time I used Wen I was putting those toxic ingredients back into the water supply. I know Chaz Dean must be rolling in dough by now, but I doubt if he has as many satisfied customers as he would have if this product was truly good for everyone's hair.

    I have been using WEN for about 5 years. At first, it took getting used to and my hair was not "squeaky" clean, but always looked great. I used to wash my hair daily, but now, due to WEN, I only wash it about twice a week. I have naturally curly hair (it was straight as a child, but after childbirth I got great waves and ringlets). I dry it with a diffuser and use a mousse. Sometimes I use curling rod on the top. At night, I pull it up in a "Pebbles" style ponytail on the top of my head and in the morning, finger comb it, spritz some WEN replenishing spray and go. I get compliments ALL the time.

    It is interesting to me that I found out about the WEN supposed hair loss scandal after my hairdresser had colored my hair and washed it with her shampoo and combed it out. She held up the comb and was amazed that there were only a few hairs on it because my hair is so healthy!!! I gave WEN the credit and she told me about the lawsuits. LOVE the product and my hair gets rave reviews all time. I am a walking advertisement for WEN hair care products. I never plan on using anything else again. BTW, I'm 52 and know what I am talking about!

    On 2/12/15 I ordered the t.v. promo for 29.95 & I made a very big mistake doing so, I should of checked them out first because I've been going through hell ever since. I emailed them the same day canceling my order, but no one ever got back to me.     I have used WEN religiously for 2 years believing sincerely that it was the absolute best thing for my hair - even though it is way more than I've ever paid for shampoo before. Over the two years my hair has become thinner and thinner and when I clean my tile floors, I find hairs all over the floors - way more than normal. I had presumed it was my age (62) and was assured when I phoned in and talked to a WEN rep that I was doing the best thing using WEN for my thinning hair.

    Imagine my shock when just two days ago I saw on the news that there are MANY people who have exactly the same problem with WEN!     I received three Wen hair cleansers as a gift. I've been using them since December, and I am finally in love with my hair. Until the past three weeks, my hair felt greasy, so I would wear it in an updo. Now I want to show it off. I had to find the right amount of pumps and how often per week I can use it. My hair is about two inches past my shoulders. I started to use 8 pumps/shower three times a week (at most). I have received many compliments re: the feel of my hair and the scent. I, myself, can't stop running my fingers through it. I am sorry for those who had bad experiences. I have not, and I love this product.

    I am a healthy 48 yr. old woman with NO medical problems. Upon using Wen hair care products, my hair falls out at an ALARMING rate!!! :-( I am not in any types of medications, and no hormonal issues, I don't drink nor smoke cigarettes. I let my hair air dry and I do NOT use any straightening products nor straightening tools or blow drying!!! Loved the products at first, I thought maybe I was losing hair as a result of recent child birth - friends and family said it was likely my new hair product Wen that I was raving about.     I called the sales line to ask if I could place an order online without the auto renewal program, as I didn't agree with those terms. The representative told me no, but said she could accept the order over the phone and I would only be charged once for the introductory kit. I didn't believe that, so I told her that I would be recording the conversation as I placed the order. She then hung up on me. I later called to ask what size bottles are included in the online offer (this information is not listed anywhere on their website, and the fluid ounces are blurred out in the pictures) and she put me on hold while she checked the website. When she returned, she told me she was having a system error and couldn't check.

    I still don't know what size bottles would be shipped (and I don't care any more). I then asked if there is any other way to cancel the auto renewal other than calling customer support, as there would be no record of that. She told me I could email the cancellation request. I asked her for the email address and she didn't know it. She said there is an email link on the website. I told her that there is not, only an anonymous "contact us" form. She put me on hold again to check the website. She returned with the "I'm having a system error" excuse again and still couldn't give me an email address.

    I asked her how I am supposed to send a cancellation request via email, if no one can supply an email address. She then hung up on me also. If Chaz Dean truly does have a good product, he made a huge mistake teaming up with Guthy-Renker. If he needs a big time scamming marketer like this to move his products, they aren't worth buying. I will never be doing business with Wen or any other products that are marketed by Guthy-Renker.

I've noticed my hair drying out and I didn't notice the hair loss until my husband went to vacuum my car and he couldn't believe what he found. Small clumps.     I had surgery and needed a hair treatment to help add protein to my hair and stop hair loss. Wen company would send me whatever they felt like not what I ordered or prefer. I didn't feel it was helping and it was expensive. They told me to try the product longer and gave me a special price of $22 a month. My hair still is falling out with every use.     Saw TV ad for 29.95 offer for Wen product; called to place my order. I am a Breast Cancer survivor and wanted to try the product due to a lackluster appearance of my hair and scalp irritation. The order miraculously was substituted for a 39.95 product and afterwards I realized that they were going to auto ship another order in 4 weeks. Then when I called back to cancel the orders, I was told that they could not cancel the order and that I would have to call back after receiving the first order to cancel the order which was already showing as being scheduled to ship in 4 weeks.     Originally ordered by phone product in august. Then they automatically started sending me more the next month, even though I was not informed of this when I ordered over the phone.     Within 2-3 uses of using WEN, I started noticing significant amounts of hair in my hands when washing and rinsing. I thought it was just me? I began to notice balding and major thinning especially at the top of my hair. I decided to stop using WEN and go back to my former hair product. I noticed immediately that I did not have gobs of hair in my hands when washing it. I discontinued using WEN and there has been a significant difference in the amount of hair loss. However, the hair I did lose has not grown back in. VERY DISAPPOINTED with this product! I have several unused bottles that I have not returned because in my research of customers trying to return the product and obtain a refund - no one had received one! I didn't bother. WEN already got enough of my money! No more! DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT!

    I had been using the WEN product and losing hair. I went to Doctor, had blood work up to see if hormones or other problems. No problems were found so I chalked it up to getting older. I have stop using WEN and my hair is now growing fuller. Very disappointed in the product.

    I have been using Wen Hair Cleanser for 3+ years (not using any other hair care products - I was totally loyal to Wen) but gradually I noticed my hair thinning. I then purchased some hair loss products that were supposed to grow hair back but with no results, sadly my hair continued to thin out but I continued to use Wen because it didn't even dawn on me it might be Wen products that was causing my hair loss. My hair is so important to me and am known for my pretty hair so my hair thinning experience has been devastating to me!!!! Then in the past few months, I have noticed significant hair loss with areas of balding spots, some right in front, right in front! which is hard to cover up and have had to resort to teasing lightly to cover the bald spots.

    I am taking vitamins, and have a good diet but nothing changed with my hair expect to continue thinning. I have been so depressed about my thin hair and now it angers me to think it was a product I have been using that was supposed to be good for my hair, not make me lose my hair! I have always purchased WEN from QVC but they have a 30 day return policy so I am stuck with hundreds of dollars of Wen products that I cannot return for my hard earned money so that adds INSULT TO INJURY! I just want to cry! And I am so disappointed in someone like Chaz who would put out a product that would injure women who care about how we look! SHAME ON YOU CHAZ!!!!!!

    The product is fine on my hair, just the pricing was never explained. Really. $48.00 per month for shampoo/conditioner??? Returned my second order and will have to wait 4 to 6 weeks for my refund since they have charged one month already. These reviews are so important to read BEFORE YOU ORDER!!!

    This company ship products that have been cancelled. The only way you can try this product is to go on auto shipment. They offer that you may cancel, but when you do, they do not cancel. Now you have product that must be shipped back and pay for the shipping (they do not cover) out of your own pocket. What is wrong with this company? Is this legal?

    I bought a 3 month supply pack at $149.00+. I started using this product with the mint conditioner and noticed a great amount of tingling sensation. After 3-4 uses my hair and new extensions started falling out. My scalp became sensitive to this day just to brush it. I started getting Vertigo. I figured it was the Wen products, so I tested it. I stopped using the products and the vertigo stopped. I had done this experiment 3-4 times. Each time getting Vertigo. The extreme amount of hair loss is substantial. My extensions were new and purchased Wen to keep them in fantastic condition. They were dropping out of my hair!

    After this happened at Walmart I went home and very easily removed the rest of my extensions. $1400.00! I knew it was the Wen products that ruined my hair, loss of my hair still, loss of my extensions, scalp sensitivity-still. I wish to inform the public the horror of my experience after using these products. I have lost AT LEAST 1/3 of my hair!! I told my doctor of my hair loss and he has put me on estrogen to get my hair to regrow. No it is not due to menopause!!

    I had high hopes for this product, but I was very disappointed. You have to use 20 or more "pumps" to start & another 20 or more pumps to complete. It was too much product to manage & my hair felt "coated". It will cost fortune to keep it in stock! The bottles are not that large compared to the amount you have to use!

    I have been using Wen for years and my hair stylist knows I have been concerned about my recent issue with female pattern hair loss. I do not typically like regular shampoo & conditioner as it strips my color and also leaves it knotted / unmanageable. However, I am very concerned now based on all the negative reviews on WEN and it being tied to hair loss. Maybe this is the reason and not really just genetics. My hair is soft and manageable but much much thinner. I started noticing it late in 2014 and am very upset. Please let me know what I can do to look into WEN issues further and if needed get a claim or suit filed if it is indeed the culprit here.

    I've used Wen for a little over a year on and off! Never occurred to me that I needed to look at reviews. Shortly after starting the product I noticed my hair began to fall out. Not just a little here and there, every shower my hair was coming out in chunks, now I have always had very thick hair so I assumed that maybe my hair was dying so I kept using "miracle" hair product - never thinking that it was actually causing my hair loss. It got so bad I had a bald spot. On top of that I began to get dandruff - I still have it!

    I haven't used it for about a month now, my hair is not falling out anymore so obliviously I've figured out what caused my hair to get so bad! It's embarrassing. Not only did they ruin my hair but also started to screw me on their membership you get put in. Began sending me the most expensive packages I did not choose and then expected me to pay for them! Are you kidding me!? I wish I knew better, I wish I looked at reviews... Maybe I'd still have my thick full head of hair... not this crappy stringy hair thanks to that worthless product line. If I had the money, I would definitely be suing that company. This is not fair.

    I have used WEN hair products for as long as it was carried by Sephora. I now know why I have sores that won't heal, lost clumps of hair and my long hair breaks off easily. I am so upset that what I was buying to make my hair look lovely has harmed me and ruined my hair. Sephora documents consumer's purchases.

    I have just started using Wen. Only 2 uses so far, and my scalp is very itchy, while reading some other reviews they say that is normal in the beginning, I'm not so sure. I also used it twice on my 3 year old baby girl thinking being natural it would be healthier for her. I will NOT use it on her again after reading about some of these rashes and irritations. If I do end up liking this product I will buy it from QVC. They sell it by the gallon like twice a year. This last time it was from a neighbor, so I didn't have the autoship scam. But I have dealt with that from other products such as Proactiv. Good luck everyone! :)

    I saw the special ad on tv. Went to the website to TRY the product. One problem I have is the fact that I can't order the basic kit that they are showing on tv. It simply won't let you select it. They give you options to select, but no matter what I do - it INSISTS that I order the DELUXE kit, which is an extra $10.00. You can't choose the scent either. Then when you read the fine print you have to be on the automatic order system. So you're not just trying the product. You're being FORCED to be on the auto renewal. I just want to try the product. I do NOT want to be on the auto deal. Especially since it's the deluxe package and the price goes up after your first order. Major Scam... Don't do it!!! I don't think this is Chaz's fault, probably the Guthry Rankor or whatever it is.

    For some time I've been seeing the television advertisements for WEN products and been interested in trying them. Boy should I have read the reviews first! Total scam! I tried to order the TV offer and luckily I caught the fact that they were going to charge me monthly. When I tried to say I only wanted what I was calling about, she kept trying to sell me more. I told her to cancel the entire thing and promptly called my credit card to make sure I had not been charged yet. I will continue to monitor my card. Beware!

    I ordered the Wen Almond Mint. I had heard good things about it from a colleague that swears by it. I have (had) pretty thick wavy hair that either needs to be curled or straightened. Right away I loved the results from Wen. I was able to air dry my hair and my waves, for once, looked great! After about 2 weeks I felt like my hair was dirty and my scalp was so itchy. I thought maybe a good cleaning in between uses of Wen would be a good idea. I did that and tried Wen a few days later. My hair was still disgusting! I also realized my hair was coming out in clumps when I rinsed it and I was finding my hair was breaking. That's when I decided to read some reviews. Shame on me for not doing that first!

    All of the sites with reviews had at least 50% complaints of hair loss! It had been months since I last used it. My hair loss has stopped but it's been left noticeably thinner than it was. I only give them the one star because I did not have any issue canceling my account and the rep I dealt with was super nice!
