    I starting using WEN products and noticed my hair thinning out horribly leaving bald spots and my scalp flaking extremely bad making it embarrassing to leave my home. Finally after many trips to the hair salon for treatments I have the flaking somewhat under control but still wear extensions until my hair grows back.

    I bought WEN conditioner in January, started using it immediately. I had like 6 big bottles so it lasted a long time. Not long after I started using it, my hair started falling out. At first it was just big clumps in the shower, I didn't think much of it. Then I got the bald spot and all over thinning. I thought it was my thyroid so I went to see my Dr. We would not find anything wrong with me. THANK GOD I saw the article pop up in my feed last week about the hundreds of other women this happened to!! I ran out of conditioner a few weeks ago, thankfully I haven't used it since them. Hopefully my hair will grow back!! I put the rest of the WEN crap I had left in the garbage.

    My mom has recently become a huge advocate of WEN products and has pushed them onto my brother and me. I was totally fine with my mom paying so much for me to have a "GREAT" hair product. My brother and I both have (had) very thick hair. After using WEN a few times, I told my mother that I felt like my hair was falling out. Typically, I lose some hair in the shower from tangles, etc. but not long soft strands coming out. I was having to clean my drain protector in my shower after EVERY shower. I blamed it on a recent haircut because I had gotten the stylist to thin it out some but after a few weeks, there was no way my hair was STILL coming out from that.

    After my friend told me about the lawsuit, I finally felt validated and that I wasn't just being paranoid. I'm only 25 years old with healthy, barely ever colored hair. I have never had hair issues until now. I have discontinued the product and will be going back to Living Proof products which I have not had any poor results with. I just hope my hair bounces back!

    I got the hair product WEN because Chaz Dean on his commercial stated that it was so great and it would repair my hair. I have very thin and weak hair and I decided to get it. At first, I liked it because it left my hair very smooth after the wash, but after a couple of times using it, my hair started falling out in hand fulls. I found huge clumps of my hair in the tub after using this product. Literally, when I put my hand through my hair, I would find so much hair left on my hand. I was freaking out and at first didn't think it was possible it was from the product since it was said that it was "so good" and it's so expensive. I bought vitamins for my hair and still my hair loss did not go away. So I changed my shampoo to the OGX hydrating shampoo and I noticed an immediate change. My hair got stronger and it's falling out less now. Hopefully, it'll stop completely.

    The WEN product is horrible. They sent me another box of shampoos which I clearly did not want because I canceled the order right after I got the first one just to test out the product. And now they're calling me and sending me letters to pay for this ridiculous piece of garbage. Their customer service sucks just like the product. This product is just so they can steal people’s money. They should at least warn us that there could be an effect like this.

    I am from Canada. The WEN products are sold through a chain of stores called "Show Case". They specialize in products "as seen on TV". My sister was working there at the time and as an employee would get a 30% discount on merchandise. She bought me the WEN starter pack (Lavender) for Christmas 2013. The first time I used it, I left it on for about 15 mins in the shower after I had done all the other washing. I left it in for that length because I was also combing out my hair with the comb that came with the kit, with the WEN product in. At about this time I started to feel a burning sensation starting on my scalp. It quickly spread to my forehead and down the back of my neck. I became concerned and tried to rinse the product out of my hair. My face and neck were covered with red blotches. The burning reduced, but took a good 30 mins for the sensation to finally go away. At this point I thought it was my fault, that I had left the product in too long.

    I tried to use the same WEN product 3 days later. This time instead of taking 15 mins for the burning sensation to occur, it happened almost immediately, in the exact same places, and with the same intensity and my face and neck became red and blotchy. I rinsed it out immediately, but took again almost 30 mins for the burning sensation to fully leave. I called my sister and told her what the WEN product had done. She said that maybe the Lavender one was too strong, and they sold a mint one as well. She returned the Lavender WEN and exchanged it for the Mint WEN for me.

    Trying to give this product the benefit of the doubt I tried the mint WEN product. It immediately started to burn my scalp, face and neck like the lavender WEN. I rinsed it out and it again took some time for the burning to subside. This time I took pictures of my red blotchy face. I phoned my sister. Told her I did not want to use these products anymore and she returned it for a refund of her money. I did not use WEN long enough for my hair to fall out like other women, probably because my body reacted badly against it, and I never got that far along with the product.

    I purchased Wen hair products from QVC. Totally believed what they said. Used Wen for about a 2 month period and noticed more than normal hair loss in the shower, on my brush and even vacuuming my rugs. Stopped using Wen immediately. Hair loss continued until almost 1/2 of my beautiful thick hair was GONE. The top of my head and 3/4 down the back was completely BALD. Could not leave the house without a hat. Was so embarrassed. Now after about a year and a half later and trying other rejuvenating hair products that hair is finally barely starting to come back. It is still extremely thin and you can still see my scalp.

    I will never ever recommend WEN to anyone. This is the worst product I have ever experienced. My self-esteem and my self-worth was majorly impacted. I am still very embarrassed to go out in public with my extremely thin hair. I would like to know how to get involved with this class action suit. This product must be stopped on the market. I have many photographs of my bald head to prove the terrible experience that I am describing here. Somebody please help me get involved with the class action suit. I live in the state of Georgia and would definitely be interested in joining a suit against the WEN products. I also still have all the product in my cabinet in case the courts need it. I have spoken with customer relations of the Guthy Renker company as I found a link showing to talk with them about this issue. That was several months ago and they basically just blew me off. Something needs to be done! This is a dangerous product.

    I used the product this summer. I noticed an extreme amount of hair loss in the shower, in my brush and around me. I COULDN'T FIGURE IT OUT. I also went to the dermatologist to see if he could help. I have had scalp sores and extreme itchiness on my scalp. I stopped using it but now it is clear as to what it was!!!

    I started using Wen a year ago December 2014. At first I really liked it because my hair was very dry. The more I used Wen I noticed my hair was falling out after washing it. The top of my head is very, very thin and when you comb it I have to try to hide the bald spots. I thought it was just me but now that I read these reviews I'm not the only one. I did not think using this product the way it has been advertised in all these women using when it happened beautiful would do this to me.

    My cousin sent me a link earlier today about the suit against Wen. I was shocked to see the origin of the lawsuit and gasped when I realized that the extreme thinning of my hair and balding areas could be the result of a product which promotes HEALTHY HAIR. I am anxious to speak to my dermatologist as I have spent THOUSANDS on doctors and products to try to get my hair back and from stopping the intense itch. :(

    I tried the products after ordering them from the infomercial. After a few weeks I thought I noticed my hair thinning. I stopped using the product. I was told by a few people that it might have been caused by my stress or my depression. After several weeks I thought my hair thinning and loss was somewhat better so I tried using the products again. Again I noticed serious thinning and loss!!! I haven't used the products in several months but the problem is NOT getting better! HELP!!! I am now unable to cover my scalp so I've been wearing a bandana to hide my baldness every time I finally make myself leave my house (or even get out of bed)! I only leave my house when I absolutely have to in order to purchase groceries, etc. Does anyone know how to reverse the effects?

    I have never really tried many TV advertised hair products but when I saw the adverts and the reviews it looked amazing. I ordered it and used it all of the month of July the first week my hair was dry and thin and there was excess hair coming out. I didn't think much of it but then by the end of the month my hair was horrendous and piles and piles of hair had come out the whole month. :( WEN is a HORRENDOUS product and shouldn't be for sale. I don't recommend it to anyone with any type of hair.

    I recently started reading about a lawsuit where those who used Wen conditioning cleansers had experienced hair loss. I have been using Wen for at least two years maybe even longer. I have very thick hair over the course of the last couple of years, I did notice that my hair was getting thinner and an area on my scalp seemed to have lost more hair. Also my scalp did feel itchy after using the products. I asked my hairdresser a few times if it looked like my hair had thinned. I never thought it could be from the Wen products. Since reading what other consumers experienced I stopped using Wen about two weeks ago. I did notice that hair was still coming out after I stopped.

    I have pretty healthy hair and I don't have breakage problems. I don't plan on purchasing any more of the product. I'm not sure what the result of the lawsuit will be for these individuals and if Wen will be recalled or taken off the market, but to be on the safe side I will go back to over the counter shampoos and conditioners. The Wen products I used were the Tea Tree, Green Tea, and Six Thirteen Cleansing Conditioners and Styling Gels. I hope this is helpful information for anyone who is seeking out more information about this subject as I was. It's really a disappointment 'cause I really wanted to love the product and stick with it. Hopefully they will get to the bottom of this problem and find out why this is happening.

    Maybe it's an ingredient in the product that causes the issue. The only reason I was informed about the Wen issue was because my daughter saw an article online and sent it to me. It should be more publicized so more individuals are aware of the situation. There must be so many people that are still not aware and are still using the products.

    I have wanted to use WEN for so long and finally have tried it and LOVE it so much! I bleach and dye my hair a lot and have tried so many shampoos, conditioners, sprays, leave in treatments and hot oils but NONE have come close to making my hair feel or look as amazing as Wen does. I have had NO issue with hair loss (as of yet). My hair is so shiny, soft, full of body, bounce, life and the look and feel is just outstanding! I've been getting many compliments on my hair and tell everyone, "WEN! I will be buying MORE!".

    I began using this product in May of 2015. I did hours of research, and based on reviews online, decided to give it a try. My hair was already damaged from highlights, and was slightly thin, which was due to a thyroid issue already being treated by medicine. When I first started the product I noticed a change in texture, my hair became smoother and softer. I used the product faithfully, even ending my showers with a shot of cold water to rinse the product properly.

    Fast forward to October, my thyroid is in check and life seems good except for a spot near the crown of my head that seems to be thinning again. I begin using the lavender WEN to change up scents and see if I can see more improvement in my hair. What I experienced were handful after handful of my hair coming out in the shower and larger thinning spots beginning to appear. I immediately stopped using the product and have returned to using my sulfate free shampoo I used prior to WEN, but my hair just isn't the same. I still have thin spots and although it's reduced, I'm still losing more hair than I was before. I am completely disappointed. For a product that costs $40 and is backed by celebrities, I would have expected the beautiful hair I was promised. I do not recommend this product.

    Left my hair very greasy, tried to cancel and the customer service rep tried to tell me that I needed to wash my hair in cold water. Really? All through the commercials, they kept saying to use during your shower. I asked him who takes cold showers? He got a bit snippy and I went off on him, got my order cancelled, and the money refunded.     When I first used Wen more than two years ago, the product was fantastic. I took a break for some time and then began again just a couple of months ago and my hair began to fall out by the handfuls. I was pulling so much hair from my drain I thought I was going bald. Hair was all over my floor and my husband said my crown area was going bald. I asked my hairdresser what she thought and she informed me of the latest problems that her Wen customers had also been experiencing. I hope my hair grows back as this has left me in a huge state of depression. The texture has also changed; of course I no longer use the product.

    I purchased this product through QVC when they had their event for part proceeds going to Ovarian Cancer. After about 3 uses, I couldn't believe how much hair I lost. My hair was shiny and didn't need as frequent shampooing, but it was definitely thinner. When I read reviews on the product, I immediately discontinued. My hair dresser does say my hair is coming back in but I would never use the product again.

    Purchased the line of Wen products from QVC. Upon my third use of the shampoo, my hair was shedding as I washed it in the shower. My hair has continued to shed and I am practically bald at the crown and sides of my hair. I notice that my hair is also starting to thin in the back. I purchased a hairpiece to wear and will be going to my hairstylist to have a weave installed. I am so depressed and don't know what to do. I want to file a suit against Wen but have no idea how to start. I would appreciate any help I can get.

    I use WEN for a week. My hair was falling out so I stop. What you see on tv is lies. I just use the WEN on cleaning my shower and it clean it very well. What a ripoff. Stop my visa so they can't get any more of my money. Why can't people like this be stopped using paid liars?

    My mother purchased the full set of WEN products for me after I confided in her about my hair breakage. Mainly my ends were just breaking here and there, nothing major. I have used regular shampoo and conditioner for many years with no problems. It was definitely just my shedding season time. I started using the products including the hair cleanser and conditioning cream. The first time I used it my hair appeared bouncy and full of body. I was satisfied. As time went on I began to notice with each cleanse more and more hair would be in the drain as well as all over my bathroom floor. My hair began falling out in clumps in the last 2 weeks. I wish I would have read others' experiences prior. I have stopped use as of last week. Trying to salvage the hair I have left. VERY UPSET.

    I started using Wen shampoo and conditioner about 2 months ago. At first I noticed that it took all of the hair color out of my hair (I thought it was good for color-treated hair). I could actually see the color when I rinsed the shampoo out of my hair. Then my head started getting dry and itchy. I noticed that my hair was falling out a lot more than usual. I quit using it, and I am not itching as much and my hair is not falling out as much. I would have a handful of hair when I was running my fingers through it while rinsing the shampoo out. Do not use this product. It made my mother's and husband's hair more wiry and made mine fall out.

    I have use this product for a long time and have had problems with my hair feeling like wire and falling out in strands. I thought it was due to another things so I continued to use it well while I was waiting for my next shipment to come in. I went and bought shampoo and conditioner and within 3 days noticed a difference in my hair so I sent the unopened package back to Wen and am still waiting for a credit to my card and them to respond to my STOP SHIPMENT REQUEST. I would not recommend this product if you have healthy hair because it won't stay healthy or will fall out. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED.

    I started using WEN almost a year ago. I had a full healthy head of hair that was down to the middle of my back. I used the product and my hair gradually fell out. My hair is now super thin, up to my beck, and doesn't even cover my ears. I have pictures of my healthy hair but refuse to take pics of this awful mess that is on my head. I have started wearing caps because I can't do anything with my hair.

    I am very upset because all I did to grow my hair has sent down the tubes. I loved my hair and I believed the infomercials and ordered the product. Biggest mistake of my life. I'm going to have to start wearing wigs. This is unbelievable. I am so stressed because my job says that the hats aren't uniform and I can't wear them anymore. What am I supposed to do? I need my job and I want my hair back. Please read all reviews and stay away from this product. I never even received my comb and brush either. I am truly embarrassed and upset.

    I have natural hair and I used WEN last year to promote growth and healthy hair. My hair started thinning, but I continued to use it unknowingly. I ran out and my hair started growing back... still didn't realized it was WEN until recently I ordered this product from QVC and used it 3 times in 3 weeks, and my hair broke off and thinned again. I wish I had look at these reviews before. This product may work for some people, but it did not work on my hair. My hair was thick and healthy before I used WEN.

    I have been using this product for about a year now, and at first, I thought it was a miracle fix for my hair, (I have [had] waist length blonde hair, that was thick, but very fine and flyaway). A couple of months ago, I started noticing my hair EVERYWHERE. Literally everywhere. So I too thought maybe it's the meds I take, stress, hormones... anything BUT the WEN. Boy was I ever wrong!! I went to my doctor, had him do blood tests (I even stopped taking my meds for a while to see if that was the problem), and all was normal. Then I noticed my scalp started getting itchy... REALLY itchy. I have never had dry scalp or dandruff in my life, so this was brand new.

    So I bought a small bottle of tea tree shampoo, and after 2 washes... NO ITCH. AND I noticed my "shedding" was not as much. (I am hoping the follicles are not permanently damaged as I have heard that can happen.) So now I will only be using shampoo and conditioner again. This product is AWFUL! And being that I still have quite a bit left, I will be using it for shaving, (it works well for that at least). PLEASE DON'T BUY OR USE THIS PRODUCT!!! I TRIED THEM ALL!!!

    Please do not use this product... I bought WEN after seeing the commercial on TV thinking that it's going to make my hair look as better than what it looked. I had extra thick hair with lots of shine. I received WEN and started using it as it stated on TV. I used it for 2 weeks only and the third week my hair suddenly started falling out in clumps. It was the most horrifying experience I've ever had. I almost lost half of my hair. I went to all kinds of doctors, did so many tests to make sure it wasn't my health and I was as healthy as a horse. Took all kinds of vitamins and still did not help restore my hair back to what it was. I called Wen customer service and explained to them what happened and all they could tell me was to keep the product and gave my money back. This is the worst product ever. I went through the most depressing part of my life watching my hair fall out in clumps because of this shampoo.

    I have used this product for 2 years, and at first it seemed to make my hair look great. Three months ago, I used the deep conditioner and after that I had been losing hair to the point I have so many bald spots. Stopped using the product and will go to doctor to get meds to hopefully help it grow back. Wonder if all of their products cause hair loss? Very unhappy!

    I liked how my hair was so soft and no static from using WEN. After reading these posts I got nervous so used regular shampoo and hate it! My hair is static again dry. I'm sure I can find a lot of people selling theirs online who aren't happy with it.

    I used this product for about a year and a half. I'm not sure exactly when my hair started falling out because it seemed to happen somewhat gradually. I kept trying to come up with reasons this could be happening but none of it made sense. I will be turning 40 next year and thought that maybe my hair loss was due to aging and hormonal changes, or it could have been from wearing a ball cap, or from wearing my hair pulled back, or because I dried my hair everyday. I've been doing these things all my life and have never had any issues.

    I mentioned my issue of going bald to my sister the other day and she told me about the Wen lawsuits. After reading about other people's experiences it became obvious that Wen is DEFINITELY to blame. In addition to losing my hair, the texture has completely changed becoming wiry and brittle. It really pisses me off that because of their products my hair (or lack thereof) may never be the same. I've become very self conscience of it and no longer wear my hair pulled back because it makes it more noticeable. I have always been complimented on how pretty and thick my hair was... Not so much these days.

    When I started using Wen, I loved it. After about a month of use, then my hair went from soft to wire, my hair started coming out. I have always had thick hair long or short. My hair has gotten so thin and still coming out just pulling on it. It's unbelievable, I would not recommend.

    I purchased the Wen hair products after seeing the infomercial. It was very disappointing. There was no improvement in the condition of my hair, plus there was more product than I needed. When I called to cancel my subscription, I was told that I would have to pay for another three months of product before it could be cancelled. They have been taking money out of my checking account since then. I don't know what to do about this. They also did not send me any products after my call to them. They are just taking my money. Can you help?

    Started using WEN, it tingles but seemed refreshing. I started to notice that my hair was getting thinner, the drain had more than usual. Thought it was just shedding season. My scalp was sore, itchy, and a burning feeling. My hairdresser said she had no idea. My Doctor said she had no idea. Stopped coloring my hair, nothing has helped. I am hoping that my hair will grow back to its before WEN thickness. What a waste of good money, all to be thrown out.

    I was referred to the WEN product after my cousin had a great experience. I started the product after transitioning from having permed hair to now being completely natural. The product in the beginning was great. My hair flowed in the wind and had lots of bounced. I started to notice a little shedding of my hair but thought it was stressed. A coworker of mine started the product as well and noticed her hair began to fall out. I too began to notice a lot more breakage around my edges and in the middle of my head. This product has stressed me out more. Hair is missing from my head. I will refer everyone to use Pantene Pro V.     My sister in law gave me a couple of bottles for an early Christmas gift. I tried the product for the first time and automatically my head started tingling almost like I was having a allergic reaction. When I did the repeat of "washing" my hair I left it on for a little longer and the "burning" got worse. Finally I rinsed my head off and the pain almost immediately stopped.     I bought this after my hair caught fire, and really needed something to help grow my hair and protect it to grow out. It built such an extra conditioning layer I had to have all my hair cut off again. It is very efficient at first but it builds huge layers of gunk after a few months. I tried to have a professional color my hair but after a few months they couldn't penetrate the grease. Later my hair just dried up and died from grease. It never felt dry. It just fell out at the roots. This occurred one year after the fire, and had nothing to do with it. It was the WEN. It will smother your hair. Please save your money, and buy Pantene.

    I used WEN products for at least a year which I purchased from QVC. One of the negative comments on QVC's website was someone started to lose their hair so they stopped using WEN. When I started losing my hair I had this at the back of my mind and stopped using WEN and starting using a regular shampoo to get rid of the build up. I was losing handfuls of hair when I washed or brushed my hair. I have never experienced hair loss like this before. My hair looks worse now than when I started using it. It is brittle and has lost its shine. My scalp had become itchy and I was wondering if the heavy WEN cleanser had clogged my hair follicles and caused fungus or bacteria to ruin the follicles.

    I had an idea to put coconut oil and melaleuca essential on my hair with a shower cap and sleep with it overnight. After two days my hair stopped falling out. Now I have to wait for my hair to grow in. I have never had as little hair as I have now. Watching CBS tonight and hearing other women were having hair loss after using WEN was confirmation for me. I am throwing my granddaughter's WEN away as well as the canine formula. I will send QVC an email and let them know the problem people are having with WEN.

    I tried some of the Sweet Almond Mint Volumizing Treatment Spray after washing my hair with the conditioning shampoo and my hair IMMEDIATELY started to dry out and harden into a tangle which was impossible to brush or comb. I jumped back into the shower & washed & conditioned with my regular shampoo. I have no idea what's in that stuff but I threw out the bottle right away.

    I started to use WEN hair care product system and within a couple weeks started noticing I was losing hair. I have really thick hair so I didn't think anything of it right away but then it was like globs of hair in the shower daily. It started to hurt just touching my head, brushing my hair was painful and more and more hair was falling out. I tried to call and cancel my order to which they never did so I ended up canceling my card. They still sent out another shipment even without me paying for it and sent an invoice I refused to pay. Now I am in collections and being sued for not paying for a product that I lost hair on. I switched products and within a few days my head was back to not being painful and no more hair loss.     I used to WEN a few years ago, I didn't have a problem but the cost was too much. I had no problem cancelling the order and getting a refund. I recently started it back, and was able to put the automatic refill on hold but was still able to order as a member. It is normal for you to shed hair. I have not had chunks of hair coming out, I have dry course hair and oily scalp. So far is been working OK. I just had my haircut and my hair stylist said my hair was in good shape. Stress and trauma can cause hair to fall out. I called customer service with my concerned and they gave me an extra days to decide if I want to return my products or not.     I believe for those who were not happy trying WEN Cleansing Conditioner that they may need to try a few different ones until they find one that works with their hair. I am sure as with anything, a very few people may have reactions to some of the ingredients. I am just as sure, that in some cases, other causes for those same side effects are also to blame such as; stress, genetics or a disease process. I saw in one negative review that overuse was immediately apparent when they said the WEN product was being used a couple of times a day minimum. I had to try a few types and The Winter Vanilla Mint worked on my hair which is on the long side, thick and color treated.

    I used Wen consistently for well over a year through their auto mailer program. I used it every day, at least 1-2 times. Initially, my hair was great. Slowly I started to notice it lacked luster and was becoming brittle and hard to comb through. The hair thinning came on slow. Now when I look at pictures from over a year ago... it is evident, awful, and sad. I've been off of Wen for 4 months... I am nursing my hair back to health and am waiting for regrowth.     I had no idea I was subscribing to an auto re-order when I placed an order. Why wasn't I told that on the phone? Where is it in writing on their site and email to customers? To my surprise, I had a second credit card charge. Sent five emails through various ways, replies to the emails I had, the customer contact on the web site as well as the one that their own FB recommended, and I never got an answer to ANY of those five emails. Then I called. First person said they would cancel. Nothing was cancelled. I got a third charge. The next phone person said I was getting credits and they would cancel which remains to be seen.     I am the mother of biracial children of which they got the beautiful natural curls for 7 long years. I have searched for something that would allow my child to wear her hair down like a ** girl flowing in the wind!!! It was hard to explain to her why she couldnt wear it like that BUT when my mother didn't like WEN she gave it to us and we no longer have to fight with the comb or tangles. Millions of people use this product and if a small number of people have issues with the product it doesn't mean the product is bad just as if you were given a prescription from a doctor.     I've used Wen on and off for nearly 10 years. Most recently, the product hasn't performed as well as it did in the beginning, when it made my hair amazingly shiny and bouncy, but I haven't experienced the problems, especially the hair loss, many others have reported. Regarding the company itself and their business practices, I too have had them change an order from what I firmly told the representative I wanted to a more expensive version. However, while it was annoying, I had no trouble insisting that they listen to the recording THEY made of my order. I didn't even have to pay the difference; I was just instructed to keep it.

    My advice in these instances is this: if you order from anywhere on your card, make sure you have some kind of record and preferably use a debit card from a bank with good fraud protection. Chase is usually very good about looking into disputed charges and crediting me for ones that I claim I don't owe for various reasons. Also, for those who like the product but don't like dealing with the company, or who would like to try the product, order through QVC. The prices are better than the manufacturer, even with shipping and handling (and tax, if you're required to pay it), and if for whatever reason you're not satisfied, you have a minimum of 6 weeks to return it for a full refund. QVC is usually extremely understanding and helpful with unusual problems as well. If a product I use sells through them I order solely from there.

    I ordered the 5 piece kit which includes a bonus travel kit. I just received it today and in a timely manner. The product might be awesome, however being charged for the product two days in a row is not. I ordered this product in efforts to strengthen my hair as it has been falling out shortly after my mother passed away. As to my understanding, I was to be charged the original $39.95 upon ordering and then four weeks later an additional $39.95 and so forth for the following two months as part of their automated sign up. I wasn't thrilled about the idea but I figured that I would try out the product and if I didn't like it I could cancel it at any time. I am completely turned off by the lies that these sales representatives have fed me. I cancelled my membership immediately. They lost a potentially loyal customer due to their overcharging.

    I purchased Wen hair cleanser through Sephora and not online or through the phone because I wanted to purchase it when I wanted to. I did not notice immediate results but I have noticed results over time, especially when I run out or do not have access to it and use other types of shampoos and conditioners, and I don't typically buy the cheap stuff. The first day after I use shampoos and conditioners, my hair feels great, but the days after my hair feels so dry. I bleach my hair and it is curly so of course it will be dry and Wen significantly reduces the dryness. I love it.

    I also use the mousse which I quite like as well. I've bought other products since to see if they would work better but they don't. This mousse leaves my hair feeling soft and shiny for multiple days. My favourite cleanser is the vanilla lemon one. I do use a significant amount but I try not to wash my hair often because I want my natural oils to moisturize my hair as well. So I try to only wash my hair twice a week but since I play a lot of sports in the summer, it's not always possible. It never leaves my hair greasy and I don't find it much trouble. When it gets to the bottom, I mix it with water and then I can make use of all of it.

    I usually wear my hair past my waist, but I've noticed my braid was looking much smaller, and I have fly always and breakage with receding hair. I have been using WEN twice a week for 4 plus years and just recently noticed head sores on my crown and in the front crown area. It appears to be slowing down in growth even though I take hair essential vitamins to protect my hair from early balding. I am so glad to be watching the right channel in time to find this out. Thankfully I've only had thinning and breakage, but my hair is no longer below my waist at my hip region and because of the breakage I'm back to square one to having long undamaged hair. I can only pray it's not from clogged follicles. I still have WEN from the bulk amount I buy during the Holidays when he sells it on QVC. I have always bought mine from QVC.

    I purchased Wen after viewing the infomercial on TV. After receiving the product, I started using the product Sweet Almond Cleansing conditioner exclusively and every day. I got rid of all other products I had, taking the advice of Chaz Dean. Within a month, I noticed my hair was falling out on the comb and 3 bald spots in the middle of my head on both sides, and the top of my head about 5 weeks later. First, I didn't believe it would have been this miracle product that all these celebrities are endorsing for perfect hair. They sent me another 3 month supply because I was on the automatic ship program for $100+ before I could cancel. I still have 2 bottles of it.

    When I cancelled the auto ship, I told the rep I had not experienced any hair growth since using the product. I am black and had just done a big chop to regrow my natural hair. I still have no hair growth on those spots, like my hair just permanently shriveled or a chemical burn. I have not been able to wear my own hair since June and am now having to wear wigs to avoid the embarrassment and inconvenience of baldness. I thought about cutting all of my hair but it's not growing in those spots that were damaged. I do not recommend this product and would definitely sue the company for this traumatic hair baldness event.

I tried it for two weeks and decided that this was deceptive advertising and my hair was dull and I had to wash it every other day instead of once or twice a week as I usually do.     I received my starter kit, and did not like it. It did not work on my curly, dry, color-treated hair as was told. So I called them to stop further deliveries and got talked into buying a gallon of the Fig type for that specific hair type. After about a month, not only did the product not work for frizz, but I noticed my hair loss started. At first I thought it was just that my hair was longer, so it just looked like I was losing hair. After another month, my hair was coming out in clumps in my hands as I washed and rinsed it. I would have a palm FULL of hair. I ended up having to cut off 7" of my hair from damage, and my hair thinned quite considerably! I had to buy Nioxin shampoo to try and stop the hair loss. I am still losing hair yet, but getting better since stopped using Wen!

    Wow is all I can say after reading some of all the negative reviews on this product. I don't usually write reviews, in fact, this my first time writing a review about any product, but I couldn't read the negative stuff people are saying and me not say anything. I started using the WEN products about 3 years ago after having problems with my hair. My hair was horrible, was breaking off, getting thin, etc.. Then one night after seeing the WEN advertisement, I decided to give it a try. I'm an ordained minister who of course believes in miracles, so after using this product I thanked God for answering my prayer.

    This product is amazing. Even after the first wash, I saw a difference. And with each wash my hair condition improved. It made my hair thicker. My hair was no longer coming out after my combing it, made it more manageable, soft, full, and shiny. I LOVE IT!!! Although, it may not be good for people with sensitive scalps, or some kind of scalp issues, illness, etc.. The reason I say this is because before I started using the WEN products, I had a sensitive area in my scalp that came from other products I've used in the past. And when I used the WEN it made the small sensitive area burn a little, but not to the point where I felt I needed to stop using it.

    For example, I don't use hair relaxers as I once did. But just as you put certain relaxers on a sensitive scalp, after a certain amount of time, it's going to start burning, some people may not stop using it because they like the relaxer overall and want that relax look. So they keep using it, and know when to rinse it out... In other words, they don't keep it in too long. They know their scalp/hair can't stand the timeframe others without a scalp issue can. When I use the WEN, the whole washing process for my shoulder-length hair takes about 10 mins., and I still get good results as a person who keeps it on longer. I actually stop using WEN products for a couple years due to my finances, and things haven't been the same with my hair. But I just ordered my WEN kit, got it a couple days ago, used it, and I am still very pleased.

    I feel bad for all those saying they've lost tons of hair and/or have greasy hair, limp hair, scalp issues, etc. I have had none of those issues. I mainly tried this to make my color last longer and it does a good job for me. I don't have to wash my hair as often and have no more hair loss than usual. I've been using it for over a year now. My hair is on the finer side but has some natural curl. It is slightly more manageable with WEN than other professional products I've tried.

    I guess in this day and age of all kinds of allergies and weird reactions there is the possibility of ANY product causing adverse reactions for some people. Guess my recommendation would be to find a friend or someone who can help you decipher all the ingredients that go into the product and make your own informed decision.

    For those who are nervous about the ordering/charging/refund issues, I ordered it from QVC - one time order, can reorder when you want. Personally I don't like automatic shipments so didn't order through the company when I read all the negative comments about being put on an automatic shipment plan without being told about it. That's just tacky on WEN's part but doesn't mean the product is bad.

    I received my Wen products yesterday. Used the shampoo this morning, very nice. I haven't used the other products since on a work day morning, I don't have time. I will continue to use the products for 10 days straight and then decide if I'm satisfied or not, meaning, asking for a refund or not. My pet peeve with these products is what follows: When I received my box, included was a statement indicating that in a 30 day span, other products would AUTOMATICALLY be delivered and CHARGED to my account. I phoned immediately.

    First question I asked them to confirm is "Please confirm this conversation will be recorded." (I've worked with a system like this, people clam up) She did confirm. Then, I SPECIFICALLY, told them I did NOT want to receive any other products. But especially, I did NOT ANY OTHER CHARGES ON MY VISA. They had a speech as long as the arm but once again I stated my request and asked for a verbal and written confirmation. Keep your tracking # as I informed them that they had received the return within 2 days of posting. Suddenly they realized their scam wasn't working.     I ordered a beginners kit and it was received. However, I was overcharged for it and then was charged 3 more times and never received any additional product because I had cancelled my membership. When I contacted Wen about the overcharges, I was told that there would be a refund within 3-4 business days. I have now made 3 phone calls and continue to be told that it is in process and it will be 3 -5 more business days. This absolutely the worst customer service I have ever dealt with and would advise anyone to not use this company unless they have lots of time to deal with them or wish to just throw their hard earned money away.

    First of all, I would like an explanation as to why this product has good results for a handful of people and horrible results for others. Is there an explanation? This just doesn't make sense. The ingredients are supposedly pure, organic, botanical, blah blah blah. I think consumers need this question addressed. Having said this, I am fortunate in that I have not had horrible results. For the most part, the product is kind to my color, and generally leaves my hair feeling healthy. But it is very, very high maintenance, and the delivery system wastes almost half the product, unless I empty the product that will not pump out into a pyrex cup. Rinsing doubles the time in the shower. If I don't rinse profusely, my hair will not feel as clean. Not suited for quick showers. This really is a "celebrity" product. Too many extra products and steps for volume, texture, shine, treat, moisture, etc, etc. Not practical for a woman on the go!

    Also, I once tried to take advantage of the TV infomercial and ordered the Gunther-whatever trial kit. The Wen guy on the phone tried to sell me another kit, which was like 2 ounces more product for $10 more. I tried to decline, explaining that it would cost me more per ounce than the deal I was trying to order. He kept INSISTING that it would save me money. After confusing me beyond my level of tolerance, I agreed. When I got off the phone I did the math with pencil and paper, and sure enough, I would be paying more per ounce with the kit he pressured me into purchasing.

    I called back immediately to cancel the order, and I was told that once the order was placed I would have to wait until it was delivered and then return the product for a refund. The order was already being processed. This was less than 5 minutes after my order was placed. After THREE shipments that were sent and returned did they stop sending shipments. I didn't even bother to check my credit card statement to verify if my account had even been credited. I just didn't want to deal with the aggravation of it all. How is this allowed to continue? The numbers of bad reviews of bad experiences is nothing short of ridiculous!

Bottom line, stop paying for crap. My mother used Alberto VO5 products. They still cost 1.00 in dollar store, 99 cents in most super markets. Really people, you are wasting your money.     I am unable to cancel the auto-renewal subscription on products that my child ordered online without my knowledge or consent, and I am trapped in an unending cycle of being billed for and shipped unwanted products. The company makes opting out of its auto-renewal program impossible. Here are the basics: The Terms and Conditions on the website state to call the customer service number to cancel all future orders and a link is provided. If you click on the link it takes you right back to the website's home page. The phone number is buried within the website, and it is difficult to find. I have called the number to cancel all shipments over 20 times beginning in August 2015. I was given two confirmations of cancellation numbers. Yet they are still sending/billing me for products I previously cancelled. Therefore, I had my credit card company block all future transactions with the company.

    The problem is that the company's Terms and Conditions state that if a credit card is no longer valid then you are automatically entered into a pay-by-check program. If the bill still isn't paid the Terms and Conditions state that you will be turned into a collection agency. Furthermore, returning the product is difficult, because there are two different shipping addresses. One address is in Foothills Ranch, California and is located on the front of the invoice that is included with the shipment. It clearly states on the back of the form to return the merchandise to the address on the front of the form. But the website states it should be sent to a completely different address in Arden, NC. Which address is the correct one?

    Is the company being deliberately deceptive so that the returned shipment goes to the wrong address and is not received in time resulting in another bill to the consumer? In addition, I was unable to submit my complaint via email on the "Contact Us" portion of the website, because it would not accept it. I believe this company is not ethical and it has deliberately damaged me financially.

    Cancellations seem to be a problem. I called last month to cancel product deliveries. They confirmed cancellation over the phone, then sent product anyway. When I called, they said it had not been cancelled. So another 110.00 I am invested for since I can't send it back or reverse the charges.     I've been using Wen products for 4-5 years. I love my hair. It never feels greasy. As a matter of fact, I can go days without washing my hair and it stays cleaner longer! The only time I ever had any problems is when I had a new card issued and it took them a while to catch up and ship my product. My hair used to be thinner but this gives me lots of volume. I have given Wen Cleansing Conditioner as gifts and some of my friends get it themselves now.     I purchased WEN hair products and used it as directed for 1 month. After 2 wks I began noticing clumps of hair in my shower drain, brush and on the floor. I didn't think it could have been related to my Wen products as my hair was so shiny and felt so clean and I just brushed it off as perhaps a nutritional deficiency or stress so continued using it for another 2 wks.

    I suddenly saw several noticeable bald spots on my scalp. I became very concerned and immediately stopped using Wen. It has been 2 months since I stopped the use of their products. The hair loss has began to slow but I have lost over half the thickness of my hair. This has never happened to me before. I color my hair professionally 4 times per year, use a blow drier once a week, a heating iron once a week, no hot rollers.     I ordered product in July and never received until today (October) even after making at least 20 phone calls. Each time they apologized and mentioned that the product will be shipped and I will receive a tracking number in 24 hours. Never happened till date.     My issue is 100% with the inability to stop delivery and then being billed for the returned refused product. I returned no less than 8 packages AFTER I CALLED TO STOP in March 2014. I paid for all product I actually ordered and kept but am being constantly harassed with threats of collections for product that was returned. The same time they claimed I owed them money they kept sending product that I refused to accept. US POST OFFICE employee from the Waterloo WI office actually returned it as REFUSED many, many times.

    Today I received another call from a "collector". It is impossible to stop them sending their packages. I was still not accepting packages as late as August 2014 that they were sending. You cannot stop them no matter how many calls, how much anguish they cause. My credit union spent hours trying to figure out what this company was doing. Wen kept sending adjustments of varying amount that never added up to anything.

    A horrible company to deal with. Stay away from WEN, Chaz Dean, and Guthy Renker. I still don't know why they are doing this but harassment and denial is their specialty. I had many conversations lasting over 30 minutes trying to stop them sending stuff. I am still disgusted and sickened by such predatory practices. They are predators and obviously have more money than scruples. The product itself is not the problem. The unscrupulous business practices are.

    The product - unless you read every single line, you find out it's on autopay/Delivery, takes 4-6 week to get money back. Took 2 seconds to take my money. Read the reviews, they are terrible. Hair falling out, smell, oily hair. Ad does not say if you have short hair you have to use 10 pumps from the bottle to have a sufficient amount and that's a lot of product and it's not a large bottle and it's expensive. It's a rip-off. Wanted to try just try it once and turned out it cost me almost 80 bucks to stop it. And I have only used it 5-6 times. People listen to the posts, it's not worth it, do not order it.

    I started using Wen six months ago. I have always had very thick hair. I have now lost 50% since using Wen. Doctor have checked hormones and thyroids, both fine. I lose 400 to 500 strands a day, everyday. Please stop using WEN, it is so not worth the loss. There's not a day I don't cry and just keep praying the hair will eventually stop falling out. I am down to washing my hair just once every two weeks because washing it makes the hair loss worse. This picture is what happens every time I wash my hair.

    My mom and I ordered Wen kits and tried it together and it was really great for the first week, after that it went bad. Our hair started to fall out and two months went by, more and more hair kept falling out. Handfuls in the shower and our brushes had filled up after brushing from the shower. Also, all through the day, hair every where.

    We both (HAD!!) thick hair, well, not any more. It's half the thickness it was. Two months is all it took to lose half of the thickness in our hair. We canceled, nobody should use this product, also not to mention how it burned our scalps and eyes. I think they need sued or to give apologies and refunds!!! Never ever again will we use Wen hair care again.

    I have been using WEN for about six months and I have been seeing hair loss. I didn't think it was the WEN. I do have a thyroid problem but it is under control. I was giving a bottle to my daughter and she said please read the reviews and I did. They sound like what has happened to me. My hair is fine but never as thin as it is now.     My wife purchased a one time $39.95 product with these criminals in June 2015. The following month they withdrew two transactions from our account for $44.94 each without our consent and we did not receive any product. We called customer service and complained. They apologized and said they would refund the amount. July 2015 same scenario, unauthorized transaction for $44.94 x 2 and no product. Again we called and complained. They apologized and said they would refund the money. August 2015 the exact same scenario with the exact same results. Fully believing these people have absolutely no intention on removing the auto-ship/auto-bill I have filed a claim with our bank, stopped all payments to this company and took the time to track down their corporate office and file a claim against them through the Better Business Bureau. I highly recommend anyone having the same issue with these unethical people do the same.

    I used Wen for almost 2 years, and I have lost about 60% of my hair. I have seen a doctor to make sure nothing else is the culprit, but all signs point to Wen. It does make my hair look amazing, but I have had to cut it very short due to hair loss. I ceased using it, and it still has not started growing back to the thickness it once was. I do not recommend this product to anyone. Don't be fooled by the great hair results because in the end, you will have the volume of a 90 year old.

    I have been happily using WEN cleansing conditioner for 4 years. I have read the reviews and know about the hair loss but that was not a problem until recently. I always purchase WEN from QVC in the gallon pump because of the value. Within the last 3 weeks after opening the new bottle, I have noticed that my hair is no longer soft and voluminous but dry, brittle and thinning at my temples. I have to ask what has changed in the formula of the previously wonderful shampoo/conditioner. I have contacted the company with my questions and have not received any response. I will never recommend this product and will never replenish. It is poor form for a company to not notify its clients that there has been a formula change and a risk of thinning hair. Shame on you WEN. No longer a fan.

    I started using the Wen products and within 2-3 weeks I started to notice quite a bit of hair loss even to the point to where my spouse asked me if something was wrong because I was losing so much hair.     Today was the final straw. I have been unable to login to my account on their website since early August. I have contacted them six different times. Today was the final straw. Every single time, they verified my email. Every single time, they verified my name and address. Every time, they gave me a workaround, which didn't work. And every single time, except for the last call, the representatives have read from a script. I am beyond frustrated.

    I tried to login with my email and password, their system generates an error message that my email address is not on file. I try logging in as an unregistered customer with my account number and it tells me that there is a customer with that account number already in existence. During my first two calls, they told me there was system problems and to please be patient. The next two calls, I was told that I would receive an email with a temporary password. No email was ever received. The fifth time (today) they escalated my call, only I got hung up on during the transfer. The sixth time, FINALLY, someone spoke plainly to me. They did a system upgrade. Something went wrong. Numerous customers are unable to login. This final person, on this final call, was the first one to NOT read from a script. I thanked them and told them that I appreciated it.

    I did however cancel my account because I am frustrated with not having the ability to login to their website. I am frustrated that they insisted I allow them to handle whatever I needed to do on the website. I just wanted to look at the product and make changes if necessary. I couldn't even look at my options. Utterly frustrated, I thanked the final representative for speaking plainly to me, but canceled my account. I don't know that I'll ever go back to that website.

    My account always had a separate billing and shipping address. In January of 2015, I had to update my credit card information. I couldn't do this online (because NOTHING works online, and I have been complaining to them about this all year, but nothing has been fixed), so I called customer service. I gave them my new credit card information and told them nothing else had changed. For some reason, they changed my shipping address to match the billing address (even though I never told them to do so). When I didn't receive my next shipment, I logged into my account online and saw they had the wrong shipping address, so I called them again. I told them they needed to fix my shipping address. They said they would change it and resend my package. I never got anything, so I called them back. They apologized and said they would fix the address and resend the package.

    The package STILL did not go to the new, correct address, and they omitted two items from my kit. I called to complain about them still sending my shipments to the wrong address and the missing items. They assured me they changed my address and said they would ship the missing items. Guess what? They shipped TO THE WRONG ADDRESS AGAIN!!!

    I was furious at this point. I told them my online profile still showed the wrong shipping address (and I still could not update it), and the packages keep going to the wrong address. They wrote back saying they have my correct shipping address on file, so I replied and told them obviously something is wrong, because I'd been told several times that they have the right address, but it NEVER goes to that address! I told them if this is not fixed, I would be forced to cancel my subscription. They replied saying they would submit my case to a higher authority, as clearly, there was a technical glitch somewhere. Five days later, I received a notice that my account had been cancelled per my request. I NEVER REQUESTED THAT!!! I only said I would cancel IF they continued to ship to the wrong address. This is the most unbelievably horrendous customer service ever!!!

    Ordered the Wen system for my hair. I used it for about two months and noticed that my hair was a lot thinner than normal and I have baby fine thin hair. Got online to see if anyone else was having the same experience. Lo and behold I'm finding out there are ingredients that are different depending on where you bought yours. I got mine off the Wen site and the first ingredients are water, glycerin, alcohol which it shouldn't be. Who knows if you're getting the real thing?

    I purchased WEN because I have very long, thick and curly hair and nothing really seemed to work well. I am getting married next June so I wanted to get my hair in top form. It has been horrible. My hair falls out in handfuls. I didn't put two and two together at first. My fiance was the one who finally said it could be the WEN after seeing me so upset after two months of losing hair.     I had several changes in my life happening and I was really baffled by my major hair loss. I had only ever experienced this with major health issues such as major surgery or drastic weight loss, neither of which occurred this year. Right before I moved, I ordered Wen and started using it right away. Within 2 weeks of beginning use and packing/unpacking relocating etc., I noticed tons of hair in drain and in my brush during styling. I thought it was odd, but then it got worse and worse and worse. The more I continued using this product, the worse it got. But it really didn't cross my mind that it could be my hair product. I was seriously concerned about my health, worried that I had an internal issue and feared the worse, knowing from past experience, this ONLY ever happened when my body was deficient of nutrients, and put it to stress, that MUST be the culprit. Until I started researching WEN Haircare.

    It turns out that this is an alarming and common problem reported by people using this product! How come this side effect is not a warning on this product? I have experienced MAJOR hair loss, to point of having to change my hairstyle, I have very little hair left around my hair line and you can literally see my scalp when I wear my hair up. How is this product even legal with this major side effect? Chaz Dean owes a huge apology to the users who have suffered this when the guise of the solicitation is IMPROVED hair health. This could not be further from the truth. It will take nearly a year for all of my hair to grow back to the condition it was in before I began using this product.     I choose to use Wen because I was trying to grow out my fine, naturally blonde hair. Using this product increase the texture and strength of my hair making it possible to get my hair to grow without getting thin and limp at the ends. It is expensive.     Started using the Wen cleansing conditioner products September 2014. The starter kit was a gift to myself for my birthday. Then received it regularly. Loved the cleansing conditioner at first. Didn't use it everyday because of the cost, however used it 2-4 times a week. Have been using the product fairly frequently for the last 9-10 months. Over the last 6 months however, have been experiencing tremendous hair loss. Hair comes out in gobs when brushing it getting out of the shower and throughout the day. My hair is now almost about half as thick as it was before!! You can actually see my scalp. I'm so overwhelmed and upset I cancelled my Wen subscription (which was a feat in itself let me say) and stopped using it. I figure that Wen has to be what's causing my hair loss.

    I am healthy with no health conditions, and take no medications. I am 47 and still have a menstrual cycle and I'm not in menopause. I've come to the conclusion that the Wen products can be the only thing causing this horrible hair loss. I pray that the hair loss stops and reverses itself.     Please, I beg you, DO NOT buy from this sham of a company. They like to send you kits that you didn't ask for and charge your credit card. I had to pay overdraft fees because they charged me an additional $44 after the initial bottle. They said I was up for an "automatic renewal program," and then sent me a "3 month kit," which according to them, I owe $119 for. They are sneaky and don't let you know upfront that they work this way. Also, the stuff people are saying about their hair falling out is true! My hair has a patch in the front that is noticeably thinner. I have never HATED a company so much in my entire life. What a waste.

    For my birthday I received a set of WEN from my best friend. I didn't use it right away. Actually it took me 5 months to finally starting to used it. I definitely regret waiting so long...     I used it for one week and found my hair was indeed much softer. But I dreaded using it because it smelled like I was using Vicks vapor rub to clean my hair and the next day it would not smell clean. Washing every other day made day two even worse! Then I decided to read other reviews and found overwhelming numbers of gals and guys with hair loss problems as well as overwhelming billing issues. That was the final straw that convinced me to stop using it before I had one or all of these problems at my doorstep.

    To really cinch the issues was finding out Guthy Renker was the company handling customer service for WEN. Years ago I purchase make up, skin care and other products Guthy Renker handled and I had only bad experiences, no positive at all dealing with that company. That would be another story.

    I've been using Wen for several years, my hair is naturally wavy and dry so the fig formula is best suited for my hair. My hair is softer and more manageable than with other products. I don't like the price or the hairspray but the cleansing conditioner is great. Especially if you leave it on for an hr as a deep conditioner treatment. When my hair fell out it was because I developed hypothyroidism. I encourage everyone with hair loss to get a blood test to check the thyroid gland.

    I ordered a trail set from WEN hair care several. Loved the product, but never reordered because the prices are too high. I opted out of having automatic shipping since I was in the process of moving at the time. WEN keeps sending me super high bills for hair care products that I have never seen and never ordered! I am not going to pay a bill for products I never ordered. My original order has already been paid for and the total was nowhere near what this bill is for. I am unsure why I am receiving it since I never opted for automatic shipping. I wouldn't even mind paying the bill if I could just get the products they are claiming they sent. Be very cautious.

    Sweet Almond Extract starter kit - After using this product for a month, I started noticing my hair thinning. I literally and figuratively had strands full of my hair in the brush, comb and on the floor. They received the return, no problem. However, no refund was issued. I finally called after waiting 6 weeks and the girl on the phone said a refund was issued on July 15th. I took her name down.     When I moved from the West, my hair was really dry. I watched the infomercial and was impressed. I thought I'd try it. After using it a day, it made a good difference. However, the longer I used it, the more limp and greasy my hair was. My daughter tried it too, and the same results happened.     I made an order in early June for a shampoo and conditioner. I paid with my credit card. They took their money, but I never received the package. When I spoke with a representative, I was told that the package was returned because the Post Office could not deliver it. They had the shipping address wrong so I gave it to them again. Long story short, I've spoken with at least five different reps and keep getting different stories of why I haven't received my order yet. And to make matter worse, they had the nerve to or claim that they sent me another order and billed me $44.00 without my authorization.     After spending $300 on a gallon, I realized it was a waste of money. I have been using the product for 3 months, thinking I was doing something wrong. After the first wash my hair looked and felt great, however, with continued use my hair got drier and greasy. My crown becomes greasy after only a few hours. My hair gets frizzy when it dries and feels coarse. I have experienced hair loss as well, it just kept getting thinner so now I have difficulty styling my hair. Finally, my scalp itches all the time.     I had been using Wen shampoo and conditioning for 2 weeks. My hair kept getting flat and greasy. Thank goodness the products were free - a client gave them to me because she didn't like it (I should have known). So I decided I would use my regular hair dye product today. Well I was trying to dry it and found white cream coming off my hair strands - at least a cup of it. So as I finished I realized the dye I've been using for years didn't take at all. So now what do I do? Re-dye, that can't be good for my hair. I know I'm throwing out the rest of the gallons. By the way I've always had great hair.     I purchased the promotion for 29.95 after watch the infomercial. The writing on the bottle were so small I was unable to read the instructions on how to use it. After using the product my hair became very thin. It felt very coarse. I continued using the product since everyone on the infomercial raved about it.     Used it several years ago when my daughter Cassie ** bought it, created an account, and never put 2 + 2 together on hair loss, but I lost hair. It is only now growing back and getting longer. I thought at the time it was very strange. I used her product for a few weeks or so, then she ran out and that was that.     I have been using Wen for 2 years now. I buy it at the kiosk inside the mall so I have not had to deal with auto shipping or any other hassle through the direct website. Not sure how all these reviews say they don't cleanse. You must not be using it correctly if that is happening to you. I use it and my hair is oily before and clean afterwards. I even use it as a leave in conditioner. I live in Texas where it is hot and humid most of the year and have not had much of a problem with my hair being oily.

    I have very long wavy hair and after I use Wen, it really brings out the waves and does not make it frizzy. I have not had any hair loss and do not understand how a lot of people are saying that unless you are using the Wen comb. I started out using that and found the bristles to be too hard and not flexible so I lost some hair using that. I now use a wide tooth comb which works much better and have not had any hair loss from that. I have tried using over 12 different scents but my favorite is the Winter Vanilla Mint. It leaves a long lasting smell like chocolate and mints. I will forever be a Wen girl!

    I tried this off QVC, which after reading the reviews is the only thing I am thankful for. First time I used my hair felt and looked great. Second time I used it, well that is another story. I rinsed very well, and pulled my hair up to run errands. About 2 hours later I pulled my hair down and tried to run my fingers thru it. My hand got stuck in greasy mess. So I rinsed again and got the greasy feeling gone and went about my day. The next time I went to wash my hair I realized I had a baseball sized greasy spot on the crown of my head. It took almost 5 months of over washing, multiple washing a day with shampoos that dried my hair to get rid of that spot. Wen destroyed my hair. Then destroyed it a second time when I had to dry my hair out to get the greasy spot to go away. Now if I wash my hair in the AM it is gross by the evening.

    I used the product for a while. Loved how my hair looked and felt. Couple of things that I would recommend to the angry customers regarding the product (not counting the customer service). First, when you wash your hair, make sure you wet your hair very well. Add water till you feel the product is going through the hair smoothly. Second, people are complaining about hair loss. It could be because of very frequent washing. I don't know if it is true. Just think it can be one of the reasons. I never noticed a loss of hair, but opposite, noticed that I started losing less hair during my washings. I noticed a hair loss from using shampoo of other brands and think that the chemical ingredients affect the pores.

    I believe some products just have a reaction with your skin reaction. Just stop using the product if you notice such a problem. I believe some people may have this problem, but also know that very many (majority) don't experience a hair loss at all. And the last, to avoid conflicts with their customer service and to save you a good mood, order this product using online stores. I used Amazon. Good luck.

    I purchased the intro package for $29 and made the mistake of using my bank debit card for the purchase. A month later I got a letter from my bank that my house payment bounced. When I checked my statement I saw that Wen had taken over $100 out of my account without my knowledge or permission and I had not even received a shipment from them.     I've been using Wen six thirteen for a year or more. Went to work on Monday and was talking with a co-worker about how my hair is falling out more than usual and she said "OMG, so is mine", she even went to the doctor and as of Monday, August 3 2015 no answer why. Well lo and behold, that night while watching the news she heard that 6 women are suing over their hair loss!!! So immediately I started investigating and here I see on Consumer Affairs these same complaints! I can't even tell you how upset I am! The money us women spent on his overpriced products! I tried to leave my thoughts on his pricing with QVC but they denied that review, I guess I went a little too far but I continued to purchase because I thought I was doing good for my hair and my husband and I are so fortunate to both have a job and I could afford it.     Too many complaints already and they still allow this company to advertise this product. I used to have a gorgeous hair, full, shiny and healthy. When I first used it, I already noticed that some strands of hair came off. I stopped using it. However, because I paid so much money to get the product I used it again. End result was so disappointing, I lost more hair. I have been using Nexxus and I got back my full, healthy hair. I still have the 3 bottles of cleansing conditioner and two of the Re Moist Intensive Hair Treatment. What a waste of money. I do not know how I could get my money back; I threw away my receipts.     I just tried to cancel my subscription because it went from the advertised price of $29.95 to $54. I received my kit a couple of weeks ago and the money came out of my account. No big deal.     I ordered Wen products after seeing their ads on TV. (I already feel like a sucker.) A few weeks after the order, I see another box of products has arrived with a bill for $119! Unknowingly, I had signed up for automatic shipments! The $119 was for a "three month supply" in the box I received. You cannot cancel through e-mail and have to call to cancel. I was able to successfully cancel and receive a full refund, but I have to wait 3-5 business days for the chargeback to my account and a week for a label to send back this box. The products are OK - nothing special and I agree with other reviews that never washing your hair with shampoo is ridiculous - the build-up would eventually be disgusting. Wen "shampoo" is like washing your hair with conditioner - any other conditioner would do the same thing.

    I do like the products. I seem to have a decrease in hair loss, contrary to the majority of the reviews. That said, I am suspicious of this company because they are very sneaky. When ordering online I was careful to avoid anything hidden. Read it thoroughly before purchase but evidently missed something. Must have been very small print. A month later my credit card was charged a huge amount for the auto ship. It took several calls to get the return postage but I did finally get the stuff shipped back. Luckily I saw the charge before the product came, so I didn't open it. I have received credit to my account so I am satisfied at this point. I would have stayed with them because I do like the shampoo but after reading the nightmares people have gone through I am suspicious to order it again. I think it is better to order outside the WEN website & stick to Amazon.

    I order this on QVC, at first my hair felt so soft and shiny. But then after about a month I noticed hair in my fingers when I washed it. My hair started falling out and just keep getting thinner and thinner. I stopped using Wen right away. It took about 6 to 8 months for my hair to stop falling out. Thank god after a year and a half my hair started getting thick again. I told QVC about it, they gave my money back but said nothing about my hair falling out.     My daughter & I Heather ** ordered your Wen hair care product totaling 3995. When we initially ordered the computer prompted us and told us that our order did not go through. Something was wrong with your website. Please try again later. A week later my daughter checked her account balance and realizes that not only did it take the order but it doubled our order and charged us twice. We decided to keep those thinking we're getting a good product and this will do us good!

    I have used Wen conditioning shampoo products for 5+ years. It took a couple of times to get the hang of it, but what a difference! I have straight fine hair. Wen shampoo has made my hair feel thicker, more luxurious, shinier and healthier looking than ever before. I've never experienced any adverse effects only positive ones. The only negative is sometimes it's tough to get the autoship down to a science. However they will put the autoship on hold if you call and ask. I have ended up with too much shampoo at times (due to cutting my hair) and I simply asked them to hold shipments for 6 months. They were very sweet about it. I've turned a lot of my friends and relatives on to it, and they've had great results as well.

    I noticed thinning bangs, excessive hair in the drain, brush, and on the floor. I began to take notice of everything to do with my hair. I had very thick, course hair and my pony tails were taking smaller ties to bind them than usual. After a couple of months it dawned on me that the hair loss could have began at the same time as the change to WEN. I stopped using WEN. 6 months later my hair is almost back to normal. I am sad that I am one of those people who cannot use the product as it did reduce the frizz, although I did have an itchy scalp after 1 day of not shampooing. My daughter in law and sister in law both use WEN and do not have any problems so I assume the ingredients affect only some of the users.

    I imagine this product might be ok if you have VERY dry hair. But for people with regular to oily hair this product is highly irregular (to be fair I think it's highly irregular in all cases, honestly). Using this product is exactly as it says - you are NEVER using shampoo again! While I understand the studies that say shampoo can strip hair of natural oils, etc... it doesn't mean that all shampoo is harsh and damaging and I certainly don't think that never CLEANING your hair with shampoo again is a sane option.

    I have very nice and normal hair and before Wen, I did not wash my hair every day. I didn't even wash it every other day. So I was using shampoo infrequently anyway. Wen says that if you use this product, you can get away with "washing" your hair less frequently. (Notice I use the word washing in quotes because wen is not shampoo and therefore not a cleaning agent). For someone like me who has pretty nice and healthy hair to begin with, I needed to "wash" my hair MORE often with Wen because, again, you are not really cleaning your hair with this product. I have now started using the Wen I have left as CONDITIONER which is really exactly what it is! But I WASH my hair with shampoo first.

    People, let's be logical about this - if shampoo can strip your hair of some of the oils it needs, then choose a shampoo that is tested to be gentile, not harsh or stripping. If, according to Wen and it's makers, ALL shampoo does this at least to some degree, then choose the mildest you can find. Do not be crazy and STOP CLEANING YOUR HAIR. We NEED shampoo to cleanse our hair. Wen is simply a glorified conditioner. Using Wen solely as a conditioner after shampooing (like a normal, intelligent, and HYGENIC person would) has been nice for my hair, but not sure it is worth the expense. Also, not sure how I feel about continuing to use Wen solely as a conditioner after what I have left runs out simply on principle because it really is an outrage that they even suggest ceasing to wash your hair! Would you quit showering if someone told you to?

    I have been a Wen user for several months and find it to be all it claims. I do not have to use lots of other products other than a light application of hairspray. It took some time to get used to the sudless consistency but I like it now. My mom taught me to really scrub my scalp so have not had the itching others experience and I think one of the secrets is to rinse excessively well. It cleanses my hair even when I go longer than usual between shampoos and I use half of what is recommended. Adding water is more important than adding more product to get a cleansing emulsion. So far I find it a superior product for my color treated hair.

    I work until the early hours so every night I would see the Wen commercials on TV. I finally decided to try the product at the $29.99 cost. First of all, they do not make it plain that you are automatically enrolled in autoship. I was not impressed with the product. My hair did not feel clean and it did not help my frizzies. I then noticed a few weeks later another charge for $55 to my checking account. I called at that time and asked what that was for. I was told it was for autoship. I told them I did not ask for autoship. They have offshore customer service. I asked that it be stopped and I told them I would be sending back the next shipment.

    They said they would cancel and send me a return label for the product. I never received the return label. They then took another $44 out of my checking account. I called again, was promised the account would be canceled and a label would be send. I never received the label. I finally started complaining on the WEN Facebook page. I was given a link for a form to fill out. I got a response that I would have a refund in 5 to 7 business days. That was now 21 business days ago. I filled out another form. No response. I was finally given an e-mail to contact. I did that today. I have to say, I have no faith I will ever receive my refund or hear from the company. I feel this is a scam company. I don't read very good things about it. I wish I had read this page first.

    Tried this product and thought it was marginal at best. Made my hair very oily and limp. Certainly not worth the money. After three weeks they charged my account $134 with another shipment that arrived. I hadn't even used 1/4 of the first bottle when they shipped another 3 months' worth. I returned the unopened box which cost me $11 to return. They credited my account back minus a $16 restocking fee. Really? So this company's philosophy for customer service is: Send product whether they need it or want it, charge their account, then if they return the product we still make $16 for doing nothing.     I have been using Wen for a very long time. Bought it by the gallons when they were available on QVC and also throughout the year. Also got my daughters to use it. Gradually I started to lose more and more hair, and I had a lot of thick hair, always got compliments at the salon on the thickness of my hair (before I started using Wen). Then it started to come out by the handfuls, the shower was just full of hair. I thought because of my age I was just thinning. I was in tears. I have a bald spot on the back of my head and the top of my head is so thin, I can't even style my hair. I am so self conscious now and really have lost my self esteem.

    I mentioned it to my daughter and she said she noticed how bad my hair was looking but didn't want to hurt my feelings. She then told me she too was losing handfuls of hair in the shower and I told her the only thing we both were doing was using Wen. I stopped using it and then I stopped losing handfuls of hair. My daughter also stopped and her hair stopped falling out. I still have the products left and have spent tons of money on it, but will not even consider using it again. Yes I am angry. Their hair looked worse after they used it even though I ordered two different kits to make sure they got to try everything. I received an "overdue" statement from them for a shipment I did not order or receive. When I called about this their rep told me she would take care of it and delete the payment due.     When I first bought this product I thought it would make my hair shine and soft. The results were the complete opposite. After one use my hair is dry and tangled. Brushing my naturally straight and medium thick hair was a disaster that took at least 10 to brush from tip to root. Would not recommend.

    We ordered the product in February. It didn't do crap. We cancelled in April and paid in full with a gift card that we purchased ourselves at the store. We paid the bill in full around the 15th of April. We received a confirmation. Now it is July and they want another $101.82. They said the card was declined. I know it was not because when we checked the card balance, this amount exactly was deducted. I suggest no one order this product.     I find WEN an excellent hair product. However, I attempted to purchase WEN products from Guthy Renker, agent to Chaz Dean, supplier and manufacturer, and would strongly recommend consumers avoid these companies because: I found the WEN product much cheaper from other suppliers and buying options much less restrictive. I found the practices of Chaz Dean felt generally unfair and some of the product(s) not fit for the purpose I intended. For example, WEN products are only available in pre-selected 'KITS' which contain MINI PRODUCTS, that at first glance, appear to be the same size as the standard or larger products sold by other suppliers. The only other option is to pay an extremely high price for selected product.

    On the internet CHAZ RECOMMENDS a HAIR CARE DELUXE KIT $49.99 containing 350ml cleansing conditioner, 60ml replenishing mist and 60ml styling cream. At a glance, these MINI products appear to be the same size as the standard 470ml and 120ml products respectively, which are available from other suppliers. 2 of the 3 mini products are insufficient in volume to last the life of the cleansing conditioner, which is the principle product in the kit. This forces you to purchase selected product at a much higher price in order to keep pace with consumption of the cleansing conditioner, and to stockpile products in the kit you might not want. Kits cannot be modified in any way and no product can be switched out of a kit in favour of another product the customer prefers or needs more. The customer must purchase those preferred products separately at a much higher price.

    If the consumer purchases the kit, they are placed on a repeat order system which continues to supply a kit and deduct money from the customer's bank account periodically, with product that is not adequate. This can cause an oversupply of unwanted product, and an undersupply of valued product, with no power to change this at any reasonable cost.

    I found this most unsatisfactory and rang the company only to become embroiled in a very long winded, hard sell, and confusing discussion about pricing and product purchase options. I also felt manipulated. For example, I asked for a product price and was told by Chaz Dean they will just process that order for me now - I had not asked to place an order, I'd asked for a price. It all adds to the frustration of trying to extract prices and procedures whilst staying alert enough to avoid over charges or buying traps with a sales consultant whose English I found difficult to understand.

    I first used WEN over 6 years ago. I immediately fell in love with it. My hair felt silky, was manageable, and it didn't straighten the perm I had at the time. I continued using the product over the years, although I did cancel auto ship. I just didn't need that much of the product even though my hair is thick and just past my shoulders. I mostly *wash* my hair daily, sometimes skipping a day. I never found my hair to be greasy, didn't feel that there was buildup of any kind and I get compliments all the time on how shiny my hair is. My suggestion to people who say they are getting too much product in the mail? Stop auto-shipment. They are happy to have you order as YOU need to.

    I called to place an order for the Wen shampoo. When you watch the TV advertisement, it states that you will receive 40% off if you order in 12 minutes and you will get free shipping if you order in six minutes. It states it is a one time order on TV On the TV advertisement it never mentions it will be auto shipped in one month or 30 days. You find this out when you call to order When you call they tell you if you do not enroll in membership there is no discount. I believe this is fraud because they do not mention this on the commercial about auto shipment. I knew about the auto shipment because it happened to a friend of mine who placed an order (one time only) and continued to get the product even after she canceled.

    So when I ordered or rather attempted to order, I was told about the auto shipment by Stephanie. I spoke with the supervisor Laura's who informed me order I was told about the auto shipment by Stephanie I spoke with the supervisor Lauris who informed me I did not have to order if I didn't like it so I'm very happy that I didn't order it however, I believe that they would not have told me about the auto shipment but I knew about it from my friend and it was very difficult for her to cancel it after she placed the order. She continued to get shipments even though she didn't want anymore and was charged for them and was never refunded until after six months.

    It's a very good thing she had all the documentation of calling them or she would not had been issued a refund. So anyone ordering this product should be aware of the auto shipment because they do not speak about it on TV. They say it is a one time shipment only on TV.

    I did not know that I was going to be buried in this crap for a month and a half. I tried to use it but there are so many different little bottle and I can't see in the shower so who knows if I did it right. The shampoo is very slippery on the bottom of a bathtub and I was not prepared for it. I slipped and konked my head on the tub leaving a great big goosehead on my forehead and landed on my hip so hard that left a huge bruise and was sore for weeks. To make matters even worse my hair looked really oily.

    I paid for two shipments. Then I canceled it. But a couple days later I received more. I was so upset because I didn't order it. I heard I didn't need to pay for it. But I got a collection notice. So I called and complained. I was told to send the unopened box back and all other charges would be written off. Now a year later they have sent another bill to collections. I don't owe this company anything. I have had it with these companies.     I purchased Wen and used it for almost a month. At first my hair seemed ok, but after a short time my hair became very frizzy. I noticed a lot of broken ends. It got so dry and frizzy that I couldn't even get a comb through it when it was wet. It was horrible! My hair dresser noticed how dry it was and told me her friend tried Wen and didn't like it . After reading the negative reviews about how they keep charging your credit card, I checked my statement and found that they overcharged me and continued to charge me up until this current month. The customer service woman said she'd credit me the full amount in 3-5 business days. If that doesn't happen, I will dispute it with my bank. They lie and cheat you!

    I started using WEN 4 months ago. I was going to cancel the order based off all the negative reviews I read. I'm glad I didn't. I love this product. My hair is beautiful. I have frizzy, curly hair. I was using other organic products that were paraben and silicone free. These products are far better. I have lots less time into doing my hair. My hair is long and usually takes an hour to do. Now in minutes my hair is beautiful and not frizzy. It doesn't fall out either like read on the reviews! Try WEN for yourself. My granddaughter has the worst dry hair ever. She is soo happy now. She says "I'm a WEN girl!" Her hair is much better too!

    I am so angry with this company and product! I started using this product over a year ago, shortly there after I bought it for my daughter as well. So help me, my hair started coming out by the handfuls, and I because I'm 62 I thought well it's because I'm aging. But I asked my daughter about how she was doing with the product, and she too was having hair loss and thinning!     Sent me another shipment after only 3 weeks from my last shipment, even though I changed my delivery frequency to every 20 weeks. Also, another shipment was already pending for the end of July. All this was discovered after finding 2 charges for $134 on my bank account. Called and was told one amount was an auth only and would be refunded within 48 hours. It's now been 9 days and no refund. When I cancelled my services, they locked me out of my account, so I can't even go in and make sure they cancelled all deliveries.

    I agreed to sample Wen Hair Care Products at $19.99 plus shipping and handling. I receive their product and discovered that they automatically enroll you in a club for future shipments. I tried the product. It was horrible and I cancelled my forced club membership. They sent the product anyway. I returned it and cancelled the payment. They didn't ship anything for a few months and started sending their product and charging me. I returned it again. They submitted invoices to American Express showing that they mailed the product. I have paid $55 a month for the worst products in the world that I sent back. Now American Express is telling me that since they sent invoices indicating the product was shipped that I have been charge. This company is a fraud. They have a tremendous ego and will not accept that you do not want their product. Even if you send it back they still charge you.

    I bought the Wen conditioning shampoo on eBay. The cheapest duo I could find was cucumber and Aloe. I have blonde foils and so far it seems to make my hair soft but I hate the burning feeling all over my head when I apply it. It feels like peppermint and it's awful. No wonder it was the cheapest variety to buy online.

    I was interested in using this product because flyers were sent with some well-known products and I believed they wouldn't back a poor rated company. I filled out the information for the "free trial" and before I finished the process I decided to read some more reviews. When I went back to the website the order had been processed and I had been charged $19.95. I immediately contacted them to cancel the order as it was in error by email. The response was to call the customer service number so I did. I explained the situation and was told not to worry it was cancelled and the money would be credited. A couple weeks went by and still no credit to my account. I called again and was told again not to worry it was taken care of.

    So now it was about 2 months after I receive a box in mail containing Wen products as to which I was very confused. I opened it to find 2 big bottles and a couple other small products and an invoice for well over $100. I once again called and asked why I received these products. They told me it was what I had ordered on the continuous shipment I enrolled for after I received the "free trial" but they did not have my credit card information any longer which is why I received the invoice. This made sense considering I had called previously and they told me my card information was no longer in the system. I advised them of the situation prior and that I had never even received any products. They apologized and advised me to return the products which by the way I had to pay for the shipping. I returned the products to the address given via UPS.

    Soon after I started receiving collection notices from them and they were reporting delinquencies to the credit bureaus almost immediately. I never received any calls or letters regarding this matter. After the reporting started I called them to again resolve the situation. They told me that all I had to do was return the products. I told them I had months prior. They told me they never received the products back and that I was still responsible for the collection. I was so frustrated I hung up. I then started receiving emails telling me I needed to resolve the matter or I would be reported to the credit bureaus. I laughed because they had already been doing so. I again sent another email because obviously the calls were getting me nowhere and never received a response. I am now fighting the issue with the credit bureaus.

    Lucky for me, I didn't lose any hair but it did make my hair break off. It was also oily and nasty. You might as well just only use conditioner and wait for your hair to get dirty. Save your money. If you don't write a check for the initial trial, they will take it out of your account for months.

    Please do not buy WEN hair products. I have permanent hair loss from using this product. After using WEN I've spent a lot of money on products to regrow my hair loss. It's permanent!!! I'm embarrassed of my hair now and have lost self esteem.

    Basically they are selling us conditioner!! But as my hairdresser says "you must wash your hair eventually!!" My hair started to fall out in some places after using Wen for two months. Also the lovely Wen team - would send packages of stuff that I had not ordered and still charge me for the shipping. When I would send them back I paid for the shipping again!! Paying close to $21.00 for something I never wanted or used!! Never by Wen or if you must go to Sephora!! Good luck!! I had to learn the hard way!!

    I saw an infomercial for WEN Hair Care. It advertised a low $29.95 price for a 3 piece WEN Hair Care Basic Kit. They provided by a telephone number and a website address. I ordered via the web and when I went to process my order, it added a $117 WEN Mousse product, as well as upgraded my order from a Regular Kit to a Deluxe Kit, unbeknownst to me, for $39.95. I found this out after placing my order by logging into my newly created account to check the order status to ensure everything was correct.

    I called their customer support line the next day and was told that they cannot cancel the order as it is in process of being shipped, and they would send me a return label for the WEN Mousse. Once returned, they would then credit my account. So, I thought I was paying $29.95 and it ended up being over $143.00. Further, she said the $29.95 product is only available over the phone, even though their website gives you the option to order the $29.95 product. Once you order it, it slips in the $39.95 product and the WEN Mousse. There is nothing in their contract that states they would do that. Once the transaction hits my credit card, I will be calling my bank to dispute the transaction and have the charges reversed.

    I urge anyone ordering off the infomercial BUYER BEWARE - you are going to get ripped off. This company needs to be investigated for fraud and there should be a class action lawsuit filed against them. If you use the product and want to buy online, or you want to try the product, go to Sephora and purchase it off the shelf, or through QVC.

    I purchased WEN through QVC back in 2/15. I started using it right away. Within 2 weeks, I noticed that I was having more falling hairs and chalked it up to a cycle. Well, when it didn't stop and I started getting globs of hair falling out when I washed my hair and then it continued through out the day... I was alarmed. I stopped using the product! In 6 weeks of using WEN, I have lost half of the thickness of my hair. I have gone from healthy thick hair to thin lifeless hair! This is just horrible.
