This is not first circus with Newegg and I should have learned my lesson, but because of a few dollars less than Amazon now I'm paying a different kind of price. So aggravating dealing with amateurs. Pay attention to the vendors that cleverly "hide" shipping terms (4 to 35 days, who in the right mind would accept 35 days?) because Newegg does NOT accept order cancellation. My vendor is unable to provide a tracking update. And their Claim process is also a joke, during my steps it "said claims to be resolved in 2 days", but when you talk to Customer Service it becomes 5 to 7 days, because they need to "hear" from the same vendor that replied with a self date cut-off of 15 days from order date (12/19/2020)....Do the math.... Stay away.

I purchased a NEW Power Color RED DRAGON Radeon RX 570 computer graphics card for a total of 185.71 and they sent me a USED/RETURNED or REFURBISHED graphics card. The inside of the box that holds the card securely was completely torn off. When I contacted them they said that I could return it BUT they could possibly send it back to me after inspection. WTF is that about? They sent me a used product that I paid top dollar to be sent a new product. They would not guarantee me that I would get a full refund or if the card would be sent back to me or a partial refund. What kind of business is this? They credited me 30.00 to my account for a future purchase and I decided to use it BUT you have to make a FULL PRICE PURCHASE then contact them and they will refund the credit. YEAH RIGHT.

I returned 2 of APC SUA1000XL purchased in November 2020 through Newegg website using RMA# issued by Newegg customer service. However, after the return was made, the customer service representative told me that a refund could not be issued because the seller (BTE) did not receive the returned items. I have a proof of delivery for both items but Newegg did not help to confirm with the seller that the items were returned. Instead, Newegg customer service cancelled RMA and told me I should spoke with the seller and inquire about a refund. I was shocked by the respond that they were not going to help me with the issue even though I bought the items on their website. I have been contacting the seller since then, but no response. So far, none of Newegg customer representative reached out to me to provide an update. I really hope they will refund $1443.98 soon, which I paid for nothing.

Fraudulent Bait and switch practices on Newegg. NO buyer protection on Newegg. Seller KOMTOP is a Scammer. Ordered a glorious O gaming mouse and received a fake knock off mouse. Returned within a few days of receiving only to have the return rejected for ASB Warranty (no idea what that is that?). Newegg customer support won’t help. This is fraud! Multiple reviews saying the same thing.

Updated on 04/14/2021: The nightmare began with a Black Friday purchase of a refurbish HP Workstation. Order #**. 1st, they lost the unit. In house. Instead of sending another unit, they launched an "investigation". That included over a week of ridiculous stages of the investigation before deciding to send my purchase to me almost 2 weeks late. 2nd, get the nice package, open the box, and the unit had obviously been dropped, broken, and the screen was gibberish. I sent it back with RMA. Once they get it they start another multi-stage process (acknowledge they have it, acknowledge it is in the box, investigate the damage, authorize replacement, initiate shipping, after almost 2 weeks, actually send the replacement).
3rd, 3rd unit boots and runs, very slowly but runs...for about 2-1/2 weeks when it crashes and looses the boot sector. Newegg tries to shove me off to HP. Zero help. I get a boot disk, format the drive and get Windows re-installed, slowly. It runs for about 2-1/2 weeks, crashes and looses the boot drive again. Newegg tells me too bad. I decide to replace the Solid State Drive. I pull the cover off and believe this or not, it doesn't have any of the promised 16gb of Memory! 2 empty slots! I get ahold of Newegg... They tell me too friggin bad and "take it to a repair shop"! I put my hand on the Bible this is 100% true!!!!
Original: Yay! Only 3 - 7 more days till I hopefully receive an actual, working laptop. Ordered on November 30th. Never, I repeat, never attempt to purchase from this site. You would not believe all the incredible stalls and non-service I've received. After it started I found the thousands of awful reviews for their customer service. They lost the original order... in house! Admitted it never left but still demanded a 6 day series of investigation processes, duplicate shipping 3-5 days and more delays before it gets dropped on the porch with no notice of any kind. Sent a smashed computer. Packaging was fine, it was smashed when it was packed. They received the return and used 3 - 5 days to literally open it. Then 3 - 5 days MORE to confirm it. 1 - 2 days now to prepare for another 3 - 5 days to ship another unit.

Newegg finally coerced the company to give me a refund back. Raysan Direct received the product back on January 20th, but was delaying the refund process, so Newegg stepped in. I am disgusted at companies like Raysan Direct for blatantly violating simple business protocols, like sending the correct item, and refunding items punctually. However because Newegg stepped in and expedited the refund process I am willing to change my initial rating. I received the final message from Newegg on 1/28/21, then on February 1st and 2nd I got my refund for the mouse and additional warranty.

I purchased two Steel Series Rival 310 CS:GO howl edition mice on the Newegg.com from the seller Raysan Direct. I waited over a month for the product to even get shipped to my house (bought 12/4/20). When I finally got the package, inside were two IDE to MSATA converters.
The Newegg.com did everything they could to delay a refund, until the seller could ship two false products to me. I feel like if their customer service was better, they could have issued me a refund when I asked for it. I inquired several times. (12/26/20)(1/3/21)(1/6/21). I hope this review improves return services, and customer service interactions between customers and the host-site of the sellers, NEWEGG.com.

I ordered all of the parts for a custom PC for my sons to build for Christmas. I ordered part on 11-28-20 and another order on 11-30-20. A few days before Christmas it became obvious my video cards and CPU fans would not arrive on time. I ordered from Ebay and Amazon and was able to get the components to my house before Christmas. Newegg acknowledged that the fans were lost and started a 7-10 day claim for me (not helpful). However, the video cards were supposedly on schedule from China. I was not aware I ordered something from China. I assumed it was all from Newegg. Wrong. Anyway after it was too late for Christmas I received my items that I now had no use for. I had to pay return shipping and restocking fees on the packages. Close to 80 dollars.
I understand they cannot control shipping times but a month is unreasonable by any standard and I should not be held financially responsible for the shipping delays. First and last dealings with Newegg. They only care about the bottom line and are not interested in taking care of the customers' needs unless it makes them a buck. Amazon always takes care of any issues I have and I should never have taken my business away from them. Lesson learned.

I bought a laptop Asus during Thanksgiving and then as it was not to my satisfaction. I created a RMA which they received on Dec. 17th 2020. Keeping in mind holidays, COVID-19 situation and at least 3 chat sessions all they say is it takes 2-5 days to process refund and your return has not been proceeded yet. It is over 5 working days. I hope they are not going out of business as this was the first time I bought from them and will not use them again. Amazon or other services I never had issues like this. I will have to call my Bank and the Card company. Something is not normal at Newegg.com.

I do not recommend Newegg to anyone for making purchases. They use scummy business practices that are close to the levels of a scalper. To purchase new tech they force you to buy it in a combo (most are junk parts that are OP that they cannot normally sell). For an example, to buy a Strix 3080 you have to buy it bundled with an Intel motherboard that costs $250+ extra that’s not even current (doesn’t matter is your current system is AMD). Another example is to buy an 3080 Aorus GPU they force you to purchase it with a cheap/crappy PSU for 130 extra (many better option than Gigabyte for this price point).
They do the same tactics with AMD GPUs, PS5, Xbox, AMD CPUs, etc. You use to be able to return the extra combo item minus shipping and the combo discount but they removed that option now. The company is just greedy and taking advantage of their customers. Best Buy and Amazon are much better options. Newegg is toeing the line of using scalper practices.
The company has lost 2 of my orders now in their warehouse. The tracking just stated “UPS is waiting for package”. 1 just happened to be received after I took the time to call them asking to file a claim and the other I actually had to complete a claim. At first I was told that a claim had to be filed with the carrier (why, you didn’t hand it over to the carrier).

Okay, I had to urgently build a gift pc for a friend for Christmas and ordered this combo of a graphics card and a motherboard, the motherboard turned out to be defective and I had to run out and buy another, now the graphics card has been gifted and is in use and I cannot return it. It wasn't enough that I had to troubleshoot like a madman just before Christmas and run out to buy a new motherboard, but now due to some greedy new policy at Newegg I cant even refund the DEFECTIVE motherboard because I would have to refund everything in the combo. Newegg support has clearly been told to issue refunds for a singular item in these combos under no circumstances and it's clearly a greedy anti-consumer practice that I find appalling. If this isn't rectified I don't think I will ever trust Newegg with any future purchases and will go elsewhere.

Newegg stinks. They sent a package to be delivered to an office address. FedEx left it 10 feet from the busy street on a Saturday morning. Naturally, by Monday morning it was gone. Newegg will take no responsibility and I have to file a claim with the shipper using about 10 different steps to do so. I will NEVER use Newegg again.

I ordered a AIO cooler for my first pc I've ever built from Newegg. Price was great and I was thrilled to have my next piece to my electronic puzzle well 2 weeks later and I haven't received my cooler so I called yesterday and had some rude representatives explain to me she didn't know where it was at and that I filed a claim already so she couldn't do much. She couldn't tell me if the package had left the warehouse and didn't know if it had shipped and was being rude so I hung up.
I called again today and spoke with another mildly rude representative that didn't care to help just to move onto the next customer. So rather than look into an answer she told me she could refund me my money and I could buy it elsewhere. It was a black Friday deal no one else is gonna have that product for anywhere close to the price I paid originally. I asked to speak to a supervisor that said they would have a solution tomorrow if no more information was attainable. I didn't have an issue with the supervisor just the two ladies I dealt with during the initial two calls. I'll be honest I loved Newegg's site and their prices but this shipping fiasco and customer service issue is probably not going to make me a returning customer.

After posting my review on Consumer Affairs, I received a response from NewEgg. The representative was extremely helpful. After a number of emails back and forth, I was able to completely resolve my issue. I sent my defective computer back to the 3rd party vendor on NewEgg's site and within 30 days I had a full refund. Each response from NewEgg was exceptionally kind and genuinely concerned that my issue was resolved to my satisfaction. I would recommend NewEgg however, I would stay away from 3rd parties vendors on their site. If NewEgg sells it, you'll be far happier with their Customer Service.

I recently purchased a refurbished HP computer. After setting it up, the computer would not recognize my monitor. I called support and after 3 hours, they decided I needed a different cable. 2 weeks later, a cable came but it was 4 inches long. You cannot connect a computer to a monitor with a 4" cable. Not to mention, the ends didn't even match up to the computer and the monitor. It was completely worthless. I purchased a longer HDMI cable and installed it myself. It still did not work. The computer is defective. I contacted support and Newegg. Newegg immediately told me it was not returnable nor refundable because I was past the 30 day window. It took me over 3 weeks just to get the cables. I am now stuck with a computer that does not work. I would never recommend this store to anyone. Buyer Beware with Newegg. They are a poor example of good business nor do they stand behind their products.

I placed a $2000 order for a computer build with this company. There was a misunderstanding between the shipping companies, and I received multiple notifications that there was an issue with the address. Newegg locked the shipping status, so even though I have an account with both UPS and FedEx, I was unable to make any corrections. I made 4 attempts to contact them to rectify the situation, the first three by phone. I was hung up on twice by their customer service representatives. When all was said and done, it took 3 weeks from shipping date to delivery to receive all the components sent by Newegg. I will not be giving them my patronage in the future. Maybe someone should explain that customer service is just as important to customers as product quality.

My claim was resolved. I requested a replacement, but got a refund instead, as the item is now out of stock... I do think it was not prudent of OnTrac to make the delivery of the original item at 10 pm at night. The chances of foul play increases substantially in the wee hours.

Called customer service about returning laptop, after going off the line and checking with someone was told yes I can return newly purchased laptop. The bad news was I would pay shipping. Returned (not trashed - packaging not damaged). I tracked the package then phoned 7 days later about credit. Was told 3-5 more days. Received email with credit invoice the next day $115.00 short. Called customer service. Was told that is a restocking fee? I was Never told about restocking fee and I probably would have made a different choice than to return. Poor customer service!! They would not even acknowledge my first customer service discussion. Will never purchase another item from them and will be sure to never recommend them.

This website used to have a section where you could build a pc, part by part, to ensure compatibility, but they have removed it. Now to return items it can cost you 30% of the value of the item. So basically I have lost 200$ just from returning items. I'm not sure why they would remove a compatibility section meant to help buyers. Buyers beware.

Bought a motherboard from them for 300, fan was defective, so I filled out a RMA and expected them to actually test the device and confirm my findings, turns out that they just looked at the box and went "huh there's no serial number" and refused it. Thing is that some of these have their serial numbers UNDER the heat-shield on the IO ports. Which requires that they actually go in, open it and check it. Which they didn't. An electronics dealer doesn't know where the serial number on a motherboard is. I cannot make this up. RMA team is so incompetent.
Buy from other places, even if something is more expensive on other sites, it is not worth the massive headache you are going to get going with Newegg if you do run into issues. I've had an account with them since 2017 and have never ran into a issue as bad as this, stay away. If I didn't explain and push the point enough, I'll say it again, Not worth the risk of losing time, money, and brain cells dealing with their RMA department.

I had an extensive conversation with a supervisor who called me back today. Her name was Angelina. It was a moot point because I had already canceled all my orders with Newegg, however, she did take the time to try and understand my perspective and let me know exactly what happened. Apparently, there are "open box" items that are discounted and are separate from regular merchandise. None of the reps, chat, or either supervisor prior to Angelina took the time to explain this and she also offered me a credit for future purchases, as a way of apology. As far as I'm concerned this issue is resolved. While I appreciate the efforts of Angelina, I still had an overall poor experience and regret it had to come to this to be heard. I will be giving 2 stars instead of 1 for the effort.

I Purchased the tomahawk motherboard at $97.99 and my credit card was charged. Newegg then sent me an email saying my order was voided because the item was out of stock. I immediately checked their website and the item was in stock at $114.99. I called customer service and shipping and orders asking how the item was voided because it was out of stock if they had it immediately in stock at a higher price on their website. Their supervisors were the epitome of passive aggressive childish behavior. They offered no help and they actually seemed to make fun of me. Do not do business with Newegg. They do not care about customers. Their customer service and shipping departments are a parody of what customer service should be. Don’t be me. Be better than me. There’s 100 different places you could shop for electronics DO NOT use Newegg.

Updated on 12/02/2020: I had reviewed my experience prior and changed my rating from 1 star to 3 stars because of "Promises". Well, now several days later, we are in no better position than before. Ordered item because listing stated "Ships from United States". Tracking shows it coming from China. On last review, NewEgg claimed to investigate listing & make necessary changes.... None have been made. They also stated to expect item on 11/30. It is now 12/02 and chat customer service only states "Oops, looks lost. Wait 1-2 days while we contact vendor". No other information or help given. Not a happy NewEgg customer. Service stinks and they do live up to promises!!
Original review: I recently purchased a remote switch for my gas fireplace. The listing states "Ships from the United States" and that product usually received in 5-9 days. After several days I received tracking information showing the product being shipped from China. 10 days after ordering, the product is still awaiting departure from Yanwen, China. Repeated requests for understanding through customer service have been ignored. Not impressed!

Please avoid making your purchase with Newegg as much as possible. I am sharing the nightmare I have with them. I recently made a purchase (approx $3,000) of computer parts with Newegg.com. The motherboard arrived in non fully functioning condition. I was unable to install the driver. And the motherboard intermittently didn't detect the DVD drive, but there wasn't any obvious physical damage to the CPU socket. I covered the CPU socket with its protection cover before packaging. I sent it back to Newegg.com for RMA. They rejected it and claimed there was a physical damage to the socket pins. They returned it back to me.
When I opened the returned package, I checked the CPU socket and I was surprised to see a huge damage to those socket pins which was not there before. I called them and they instructed me to contact ASUS but this is not ASUS problem. The problem is I returned the motherboard to them for RMA in a good condition (no visible physical damage) but it came back to me in a damaged condition. They also lost all the accessories like the user manual, Driver CD, and fan bracket. They refused to send me the missing accessories. I asked them to investigate for the possibility of damage occurrence during their inspection process or handling process, and the only thing I got from them is they will check and then that's all. I haven't received the missing accessories and didn't get any replacement for the motherboard whatsoever.
I am very disappointed that they handled the issue in a worst way. No replacement, no refund. When the motherboard is not working properly out of the box, I expected to get a replacement. When there is a physical damage which was not seen at customer end before, they should investigate it to rule out how it got damaged. I am sure they have cameras. All they need to do is to review the camera and prove it to customer that it was not damaged by them through the handling.
I am a System Engineer at a large corporation company and have been working with motherboards and CPUs everyday. If the physical damage to the CPU socket is that big, then I would notice it and it wouldn't boot up in the first place. I am sure something happened at their end during the inspection/handling, but they refused to do any investigation or replace the motherboard.
At first, with the driver installation issue, I could deal with it but returning a motherboard which is not in the same condition back to me without doing any investigation is not acceptable. I was so frustrated and almost return all products back to them for refund. I purchased 2x 32" LCD 4k, a motherboard, a M.2 drive, a full tower, 8 fans, Intel i7 CPU, 1200W power supply, ARGB High Performance CPU cooler, a DVD burner, a wireless keyboard and mouse, 32GB DDR4. I never had such frustration with a vendor before. Obviously they don't value customers and are not willing to address the issue properly. Again, stop making business with Newegg.com.

I ordered a package on September 23rd 2020 it was a motherboard and an anti-static strap $488.56. There was also an option when I was paying for the items to have it signed for when I got it so it would not be left outside the front door. It cost extra like 20 bucks but hey I was like whatever peace of mind right? So the mail company dropped it off at my door. Left it there. I got a notice stating that was there. I looked outside. The package is already gone so I've been fighting them. I even put in a police report. It's now November 17, 2020 and still nothing. I've been a valued customer for almost 5 years and in that five years I've only had to put claims with Newegg and this is how I'm treated. What the hell? I will never shop here again at Newegg and I will never ever recommend it to anyone else. Newegg is a pirate scam.

Updated on 12/18/2020: This is an update on my review dated November 17, 2020. Newegg has not responded and Consumer Affairs has it listed as under resolution. Newegg asked for a serial number and it was provided and then they just stopped responding. When they stopped responding I think that invalidates any attempt at resolution. Pretty sad situation. Buy elsewhere!
Original Review: I recently purchased a computer from Newegg. In the unit description it listed the keyboard as being "per key RGB." This turns out to be wrong. It should read "backlight keyboard, red." I purchased this computer thinking it had this option. I contacted them to inquire about this and they said it was my mistake even though their description was wrong. The store rep kept saying "you selected this." I kept saying "yes I did based on your incorrect description." The computer website has it listed correctly. However, I didn't know this until after receiving the computer. Essentially, there are too many other places to purchase a computer to bother with a place who will not own their mistakes and take care of the customer. Buyer Beware!

I made a large international order from Newegg Sept 5th. I got most of my parts within about a week, except the motherboard which was supplied by a "Newegg Merchant" and was showing as "shipped" for a long time. I gave it some weeks as Israel had also gone into lockdown and I factored in COVID delays. After a couple of more weeks I contacted that seller directly and they informed me that the SHIPPED status and tracking # only apply to the package they shipped to NewEgg itself, so I need to contact Newegg.
Since then it's a month long saga of emails and Customer Service chats every two or 3 days, where every time I'm assured "The warehouse has been contacted/updated/queried" and I should "kindly wait another 2 days for an update". This has been going on for a month, over about 7 or 8 such chats. When at the last chat I was finally able to be escalated to a supervisor to beg for a refund, I was told... you guessed it, "PLEASE KINDLY WAIT 2 DAYS." Of course it's been 4 days since, and no word.

Newegg decides to send me a RTX 3070 graphics card that was already open as the box had no wrapping which was a red flag for me. I get ready and unplug my 1070ti GPU to put in this bad boy but the 6 pin and 8 pin connector won't go all the way in which really sucks. I think maybe I will try the power supply I got in the bundle but not same thing. It won't fit. So I contact newegg to ask for assistance and they tell me the card is incompatible with my system and for a replacement I would need to pay for shipping and a 15% restocking fee which would have been 90 dollars (restocking fee alone). That's when I brought up the fact that I tried two different power supply units and it did not fit making the item defective not incompatible. That's when the helper changed the tone and said, "Oh I see the item is between our return window."
Newegg that was not a great experience at all. I was excited to finally acquire a 3070 but for it to be defective and almost making me pay more again for a replacement is ridiculous. I am sure I probably won't see a replacement for a while. I bought many items from newegg but to see that they try to dupe customers who may not know much about computers is pretty sad and off putting. I will not shop there anymore. Now I have to wait longer again.

I received a CPU and motherboard from Newegg. The motherboard box was opened prior to being shipped to me. I assumed Newegg opened the box to test the item. I put the motherboard and CPU together. The system wouldn't post. I've built hundreds of systems in the past. When Newegg received the system. They claim the CPU had damaged pin... That's not possible since the new generation of Intel CPUs don't have pins. Now they refuse to refund my money and want me to contact Intel to get the CPU replaced. Thankfully, I purchased the motherboard with a credit card and contacted them to dispute their false and fabricated claims about the CPU. I've purchased other items through my work and for personal use with Newegg. This will be the last time.

After about a month long headache with customer service, I was finally able to exchange the TV. The exchanged TV was to be shipped via FedEx as opposed to a third party shipping company. The new TV had arrived over Thanksgiving, so I did not have a chance to inspect it prior to accepting the shipment. Everything looked ok from the outside (i.e. box intact, no visible damage) but once I had unboxed the TV, I noticed the screen on this one was damaged as well.
Thankfully, this time around there was no issue exchanging the TV using the normal exchange method. The third TV showed up via UPS and I was able to unbox and inspect the TV same day. Third time is a charm I guess or perhaps UPS just takes better care of 55" TV boxes clearly labeled "Fragile".

On September 23rd I had ordered a 55" Samsung LED TV through Newegg.com (not the market place). Upon arrive, the shipping box was a little damaged, but the foam in the inside of the box did not seem to be affected. The TV sat in the back until we had a chance to finally unbox the TV about a week after it had arrived. After unboxing the TV I plugged it in and powered it on. The screen flickered and as the backlight illuminated a massive crack could be easily seen. The TV then shuts itself off without displaying any picture. I promptly started the process to exchange the TV as it was damaged during shipping.
After a little over a week of waiting, I had reached out to Newegg customer support to inquire about the status of my exchange. They had questioned why it took a week to file a claim and I had explained that due to business operations we did not have a chance to inspect the TV when it had arrived. Nowhere was there any mention of a 2-Day exchange policy in any of our correspondence. I was told it is still in process and to wait a couple more days.
A few more days go by and still no response from the customer service team so I had reached out again. I received a response stating that the item is outside of the return policy and I should contact Samsung for a warranty claim. Keep in mind, the TV has not been out of the box for longer than 20 minutes and was clearly damaged during shipping which would not qualify as a warranty repair. I called Newegg and I spoke with a representative on the phone who pulled up the claim up. She had stated the claim was still in process, but she was going to open another claim for me. This was around mid-October.
The first week in November comes and since I haven't heard from Newegg yet, we reach out to the customer service department AGAIN to inquire about the status. I am told it is still in process and to wait a few more days. Today, about a week later, I reach out for a FIFTH time to customer service asking for an update. The response I got is less than stellar, especially since it has been well over a month since the original claim was filed. Newegg's response to my inquiry was: "Upon checking, order # ** is a large item delivery via Coyote-AIT Threshold shipping company. The Claim filing time is within 2 business days upon arrival. The claim was filed past timeframe. We cannot honor the claim at this point, so sorry about this."
It took over a month to receive this response. No offer of a one time exception, no alternative solutions offer, nothing. They basically gave me the middle finger and said "Sorry, you're stuck with a $600.00 TV that was broken by the shipping company and we can't help you." The TV was not ordered from a Marketplace seller, it was sold and shipped directly from Newegg.
If the problem is with the payment of the shipping, I can pay for that. But the fact that Newegg is unwilling to assist with this exchange or really offer any sort of alternative other than "Sorry we can't do anything" is extremely poor customer service. It's not that they can't do anything, it's that they are unwilling to make an exception for a customer who has spent over a grand in a month in their store -- the TV was not the only thing purchased. On top of that, who has a 2-Day Exchange policy on a large, fragile electronic item?? And now, since the customer service department took over a month with coming up with a resolution for the shipment claim, I cannot even return the product.
This is the last time I will be using Newegg for anything, and I will be sure to tell the rest of my co-workers to stay far away from Newegg as well. Everything from the bogus exchange policy to the extreme lack of communication with the customer service has made this experience incredibly disappointing. Thankfully, it will be my (and hopefully many others in my 10,000+ employee organization) last experience with Newegg.

My latest experience with Newegg surprised me. I ordered a printer tray from one of their vendors. All was going well until I noticed that the item was waiting to be picked up by FedEx for over a week. I asked the vendor for a status and they immediately authorized a return for the purchase price without the shipping cost of $33.00. I don't care what the fine print may read, this is theft in my book. I have tried to contact Newegg by email and by phone to resolve the issue. Both times the conversation was cut off by Newegg. I had been satisfied with Newegg up to this point. It was surprising to me to learn that they are capable of this type of behavior. Check some other reviews. You will find that my experience is not the only one of its kind. I will not buy from or recommend them again.

I am a loyal customer to Newegg, and decided to shop for TV. I found a very good deal for Samsung UN58TU7000 for $447 with free shipping. They also offered a combo deal with Samsung soundbar - HW-Q60T, which was at an original price of $277, and with combo would be another $100 off, for a total price of $625.98, before taxes. I placed both items in the basket, with total price around $678 and some change, and decided to continue shopping.
About 20 minutes later, I went back to the basket to pay for the items, and I saw considerable price bump. Soundbar now was priced at $377, and TV has a shipping price of $119.99. Deal still had a $100 off for combo, but total price was an extra $220, compared to the original deal - from 20 minutes ago! I did not see any sale expiration date nor time for this promo, and I saw some deals were offered price protections. I contacted customer service via chat, and a customer service agent Aileen Z, gave me a canned reply without an apology that prices are in real time and there is no price protection, whatever the hell that means. I was very disappointed with the bait-and-switch tactic, and subpar customer service. Will no longer buy anything from them, and close their credit card.

I purchased a $900 new laptop, it was faulty from the beginning of setting it up. I tried a variety of things over time to get it to function properly, but it just got worse, finally to the point of not even turning on. Customer service was cold and refused to help, saying my return time (I called on day 29 of having the machine) was too late, since they count from the date the order was placed, and it took four days to arrive. They never addressed the real issue of the laptop itself, just totally put me off. So now, I have no functioning laptop and I'm out $900! Interestingly, as I read other reviews I saw that broken laptops were replaced three months in (Maddy of Springfield, 1-10-2020). What gives? No more purchases nor recommendations from me!

Newegg used to be THE place to get components and electronics but over the last 5-10 years it has turns into possibly one of the worst places to do business. Service is nil, ANY problem that can be remotely suggested or tied to a customer will be blamed on the customer. They WILL nickel and dime you at every possible turn. Returns? HAHA good luck getting that RMA completed without losing additional time and money. I ordered a NZXT case because I’m currently building a pc. It was about 120 dollars. I was given a tracking number and waited for a little more than a week when it said it was delivered. I never got my package. It turns out when I look at the seller on Newegg’s website, they scam people. It turns out multiple people have had the same problem as me. I’m astounded that Newegg would continue to let this seller stay on their website. I filed a claim but I doubt anything will come out of it. This sucks and I wish Newegg would be more caring and professional.

Prices were very good, but company doesn't stand behind what they sell. When I returned a motherboard ($270) on an RMA, The shipment was received in a plastic bag and coated in some kind of oil. Pictures were provided to Newegg. Motherboard failed when installed. All parts were returned under RMA. NEWEGG rejected RMA saying board was damaged. They returned motherboard missing most of the parts. Whole process took more than 6 weeks, way too long. Only option left was to dispute credit card charges while trying to recuperate monies from UPS for shipment damage. I will not purchase from this company again regardless of prices.

Newegg credited me for the return shipping fee and restocking fee, so I have to give them credit for resolving the issue. First, I tried talking to a Newegg representative to resolve the issue and was told too bad. It wasn't until I posted this review that someone from Newegg stepped in and fixed it. I understand that they cannot sell the monitor as new again since it was opened, but I just wanted the defective monitor replaced. However, since there were none in stock so I had no choice but to return it within 14 days or keep it. It is was it is, but I have to be honest and say that I will be very hesitant to purchase anything else from them again. Maybe motherboards and processors but definitely not monitors.

I had purchased a cougar black gaming chair for 199$. After giving it about 2 to 3 weeks, I had determined that between the excessive squeaking of the chair as well as its poor balance causing it to tip over while sitting in it properly, I needed to return it. The initial rma process was fine, they even helped me extend the rma as it had voided the same day they received it. Unfortunately, they refused to refund even a portion of the amount I had paid because even though I sent back everything that came with the chair, I hadn't sent it in the original box.
Gaming chairs come in extremely large boxes that get in the way, and I have never experienced this requirement with other companies in regards to items of this size. So they are sending me back the chair the doesn't function as advertised, and when I spoke to customer service, they essentially told me I was out of luck and that they couldn't help and then just pasted a script about their return policy.. This has been the most expensive paper weight I'll ever own.

Ordered a prebuilt PC but the order has never arrived, it's was stuck on "Label Created" for at least two weeks. Talked with a guy about cancelling it, he told me to wait two days. Four days later, nothing was changed. Tried cancelling again, they told me the same thing as the first guy and wait 2 more days. Filed a claim, now it's telling me to wait seven to ten days. This is an awful long time to wait for a cancellation and hopefully a full refund. This was my first order from Newegg and the experience so far isn't worth it. At this point, I would not recommend this company.

To whom it may concern. I have ordered computer parts from Newegg in the past with no issues. I just wanted to start off on a positive note. About a month ago, I started price shopping on a Tripp Lite 1800w hospital grade isolated transformer. I found on newegg (not marketplace) that they were cheaper than everywhere else. So I ordered it. My order was in processing for a few days and nothing changed to start shipping. I called newegg to find out the issue, the lady said that She didn't know and would put in an order to the warehouse for me (still don't know what that means). A couple days later, I got an email saying, "we regret to inform you that even though our website said it was in stock, it wasn't."
I then had to wait about a week to get my money back. I should have learned my lesson then. Once the money hit my account, I saw that the item was in stock at newegg (not marketplace) for the same price. So I called and talked with newegg customer service. I had a girl check if it really was in stock who I had transfer me to ANOTHER girl who double checked to make sure that it was in stock and SHE put the order in for me just to make sure that it will go through and it was in stock. Guess what email I got today. Yup. I waited for a very long time on the phone and finally got to someone who explained to me that "it's not in stock." I told him the entire situation and he told me that "it's not in stock."
He said that he didn't know what I wanted him to do to resolve the situation. I gave him 2 options. Option 1- You guys find out when you will have it in stock again and set it aside for my order which he said he couldn't do. Option 2- If there is a seller on marketplace that has the item (there was at this time and probably is now) take the money I already gave to you and have the multimillion dollar site newegg, just cover what is left over. You guys get a happy customer, and I get my piece of equipment I've been waiting a long time for. You guessed it, He wouldn't do that either. I said to him, "I want to hear from your mouth that there is nothing you can do to make me happy." He said no.
This website obviously has false advertising of price and items in stock. Newegg has officially lost a customer. Between my wife and I, we have spent thousands of dollars with them. Not anymore. I hope everyone who reads this, goes with another company who takes care of their customers. Good thing I'm connected to some influencers, Maybe they will help me in my new quest to show the truth of newegg to the world.

Quite frustrated with my experience with NewEgg recently. I've been a loyal customer for 11 years now. I am an IT professional and have even utilized NewEgg's website for multiple business purchases at more than five of the companies I've worked for in the last decade. They may not see it on my account but I've spent thousands and thousands of dollars with NewEgg. Wednesday morning around 6am I made an order for a motherboard and SSD. I chose to pay for expedited processing and 2-business-day shipping as I needed them by Friday. I will admit it was "processed" quickly and then sat at their warehouse for over 24 hours with a "shipping label printed" so they could show it was being shipped quickly. Now I'm being told by UPS that it won't be here until Monday and Saturday is not an option due to the way NewEgg submitted the shipping.
After contacting both customer services they are both blaming each other for this problem and neither could offer a solution. NewEgg has offered to refund my shipping fees on Monday. I never wanted my money back, I want my products here on time. To add more shame, I ordered at roughly the same time, an external hard drive from Amazon.com. I did not pay for expedited shipping and chose the 3-5 business day option. I have ALREADY RECEIVED THE PACKAGE FROM AMAZON. I read at some point that NewEgg had been purchased/acquired by another company and their quality was declining...I guess I found out the hard way!

4K purchase for a new top of the line gaming rig. The initial purchase was made on 09-15-2020. The item took a few days to process from the warehouse, which was slightly frustrating but tolerable. On such a large purchase, you would think those might be expedited, but I digress. 09-17-2020 the item arrives at the pickup location, and 30 Mins later, it has "completed loading at pickup location" and then.... It just sits there.... and sits there some more... and sits there...
I call/chat them up on the Monday 09-21-20 to see what's up. They don't know... give it a few days is essentially what was said. The delivery date is scheduled for Thursday, 09-24-2020. Sorta disappointing since when I made the purchase, they said the estimated delivery date would be Tuesday the 22nd. But ok fair... it's an estimate.
Wednesday comes and goes on the east coast. I contact them and say, "Hey.... tracking STILL says completed loading at pickup location... It has said this since the 17th... where is this." It should have made it to a hub somewhere by now. Keep in mind I brought this to their attention on MONDAY. I then reminded them... this was a substantial purchase. They said they would "escalate" the issue. They did a price match that day as the computer had dropped 100 dollars. Thursday comes and goes and still nothing. Another chat/call, and I'm told to wait until Monday, "let's see what happens" They don't know where the package is on 4K PURCHASE.
Friday, I contact them again. They still have no idea where this package is. They refuse to send out a new one, and to top it all off, the price dropped another 200. When I ask them to update my price match from 100 to the new 300, they refuse to do so. My price match had not been processed yet, but they refused to update it. After almost an hour of arguing and debating, they "compromised" on an additional 100 Gift card instead of the 200 refund. As if I want to spend any more money there... I take the gift card and plan to give it to someone I dislike.
I then investigate this issue myself by getting in contact with this shipping company who confirms they lost the package and had alerted Newegg many days beforehand. They stated that my new delivery date would be the 30th. They also said they would update Newegg no later than the morning of the 28th with the updated shipping information.
And here we are... Monday, September 28th, and at no surprise, the shipping information STILL reads it was loaded on a truck on September 17TH 11days ago. They claim to have no knowledge of where this package is but will now get the process moving on a replacement. They want me to wait until at least Wednesday to get back in contact with them regarding a replacement on a 4000.00 USD purchase!!!! Even despite having 0 knowledge of where this package is or when it will arrive.
I believe Newegg is in some serious need of customer relations training because this is absurd. I HIGHLY advise you do business elsewhere because the DUMPSTER FIRE known as Newegg is certainly not worth your time. By merely providing me with a location and arrival date would have MOST CERTAINLY prevented this review. If you ultimately decide to do business with them, good luck. If only I had check consumer reviews before making my purchase, the many people who agree with me might have saved me a lot of stress.

I ordered several 1 in 2 touchscreen Chromebooks for our school. I would like the items I originally ordered but after 12 days they finally tell me it is out of stock. This information was not disclosed in the 2 emails trying to get me to change my order to other computers that don't meet the same minimum requirements. They tell me the item I originally ordered was not as good in quality.
This is the 2nd time this exact same thing has happened to me on Newegg. For the last 12 days the product description on Newegg has said that it is in stock. They offer to sell one item at a low price that they don’t actually have so that they can substitute it for another item that they would like to sell instead. “Bait and switch” is a crime, and is considered a fraudulent sales tactic that is punishable by law as false advertisement under the Lanham Act.
One of the Chromebooks that they tried to substitute is a smaller version but they wanted the same price, the other brand is one that no one has EVER heard of but also lacks several features anyway. Now that I have complained 2 weeks later Newegg has finally updated their website. Again Newegg has wasted 4 weeks of my time with no accountability for their vendors. This would never happen on Amazon or any reputable website.

I ordered a CPU from Newegg that came with bent pins. The shipping box was in perfect condition, but when I opened it, the CPU box was damaged. I opened the box to see if the CPU was damaged and sure enough there were bent pins in the corner. The plastic piece that protects the CPU was also damaged. I requested an RMA within minutes of receiving the CPU and told Newegg exactly what happened and provided them pictures of the damage. They refused to help because "the bent pins void their warranty" and I was told to contact the manufacturer. After contacting AMD, I am left waiting to see if they can help me even though the bent pins also void their return policy.

Updated on 09/29/2020: This is my second review and ongoing troubles with a damaged motherboard. My original return was denied based on a damaged cpu socket. It was hinted at, during those conversations, that the damaged was end-user related. To my surprise my denied return was received back to me today with additional damage. I have pictures prior to shipping, and additional images on the returned motherboard. I'm in total disgust on how this company operates. The accusations they throw at you and then have the nerve to damage the product. Looks like they ran something across the cpu socket pins, visible in the before and after pictures.
Original Review: Just wanted to share my experience on returning a defective motherboard. About a month ago I purchased 2 motherboards, the first build went together without a hitch, the second not so well. Immediately after turning on, the cpu fault led came one. On closer inspection the cpu socket was defective and not allowing the cpu to seat correctly. I immediately ordered a new motherboard and requested an rma number describing the defect and shipped it back. 30 days later, my return was rejected, stating that it it violated the return policy and was used (signs of a cpu was inserted).
In reading their return policy, I did not see these stipulation on returning a motherboard. So basically they can sell damaged products, doa, and turn around and claim it's a manufacturing issue. The manufacturer will only replace and not refund, and guess what? Newegg's policy is refund before 30 days, I kid you not, they rejected the return exactly 30 days. They sold me a damaged product and are taking no responsibility and left me with no option on a refund. The best I can do is have the manufacturer replace the motherboard and then try to sell it.

After purchasing the parts for a computer and having someone experienced try to put it together, we found out the motherboard was defective. I sent it in to be replaced and waited 18 days just for the company to accuse me of damaging it and refusing my replacement. Then to boot, the “damage” they were speaking of didn’t exist when I sent it off. They claimed it was a damaged CPU contact pin strictly based on there being evidence of thermal paste and nothing else. No detail besides the thermal paste.
So they recommended for me to talk it over with the manufacturer and said they were sending the part back. But when I asked where the motherboard was and how long it would be before I could get it back, all they could tell me was it was somewhere in their returns warehouse and that it SHOULD get back to me in a couple of days to a week. So after 18 days of waiting, “damaged”, defective, or not, I’m out of a motherboard and my money and my product is lost in a warehouse. Buyer beware.

Ordered a 3K gaming desktop only to have it arrive missing a hard drive. Newegg couldn't care less, told to contact manufacturers, who in turn wouldn't help. So they will basically rob you and not make any attempt to help resolve the issue and definitely don't stand by what they sell. There are plenty of other places that sell computers, avoid Newegg, they are terrible people and very overrated.

A dishonest company to say the least. I ordered a PC with overnight shipping so I could game with a family member over the weekend. Newegg (this was their own product, not a third-party) sent me a brick that could've been determined to be a brick if they had turned the power on for longer than 10 second. When I asked for a replacement, they told me it would be 2-5 business days before they could begin the claim, and then another 2-5 business days before they could ship out a replacement unit. So roughly two weeks before I could get a working unit. I said that was not acceptable since I paid for the overnight shipping and asked for all of my money back including shipping.
The representative said they could not do that, so I requested a supervisor. The supervisor said they would refund me the shipping since they shipped a faulty unit, but could not refund me the shipping cost until the return had been complete, and that I was to contact her at that time and she would complete the refund of the shipping costs. It took three weeks for the return to be completed! At that point, I asked the supervisor to follow through with our agreement and refund me the shipping costs. After three emails over a period of two weeks, she has yet to respond. Do not trust this company, if anything goes wrong with your purchase they will not follow through with whatever reassurances they give you.

The products I received from Newegg were as expected, this review is about the ordering, shipping, and customer service experience I encountered. This was the worst customer experience I've had in a long time. It was so bad, that I returned every order I had placed (over $1k IT equipment) because I refuse to give this company my business anymore. As a company founder and technology professional, I will also advocate to refusing or revoking any Newegg Business accounts in my future dealings.
The short of what happened is: I placed a next-day shipping order and it was late (not next day.) Newegg is deceptive about next day shipping, and when I complained and even offered a modest compromise that would satisfy me as a customer, they refused and continued to deny their purchasing experience shortcomings.
The long of it: Newegg advertises overnight shipping, and even tell you when checking out that the estimated arrival time will be next day. This, however, is not possible. It's not possible by the admission of their support staff who stated, "... it's not guaranteed that is why we do mention that we do require 1-2 business days for processing before the order ships out."
If you place ANYTHING in your Newegg online shopping cart, and start the checkout process, there will be an option for next-day/overnight shipping with an estimated arrival time of the next business day. Why does Newegg suggest that it's possible for a product to arrive next-day, when it won't even leave the warehouse until the next business day? I have documented screenshots that it sat in the warehouse a full day before being picked up.
I'm not the only one having these issues. A cursor search on Twitter reveals others also having the exact same complaints, with generic responses from @NeweggSupport asking them to contact support. So in essence, yes, you "technically" can get overnight delivery... after the product actually leaves the warehouse, which will be anywhere from 0 to 3 (in almost every case at least +1) business days later.
I feel like this is patently deceptive, and borderline bait-and-switch, as overnight shipping is two times the cost of two-business-day shipping. I explained why this down-right deceptive and not a good customer experience, and I even offered to split the shipping difference of overnight and 2nd day shipping (a total of $30) as store credit, but the support manager held firm in her belief that Newegg did nothing wrong, and is not deceiving customers, and incredulously, that my OVERNIGHT order was "on time" even though it was already 2 business days later.
After that, I kindly requested RMAs for every order I placed, and shipped them back to Newegg the same day they arrived (at additional shipping cost to me, unfortunately.) If Newegg wants to be honest about their delivery expectations, they should list overnight shipping with an estimated arrival time of 1-4 business days (to account for their warehouse processing times) and not offer true next day delivery, which in all likelihood will never happen. I want to like Newegg, they used to be awesome. Now, not so much.

Ordered the item on 08/29. Item was promptly marked as shipped, even though the item actually did not ship until a few days later. Originally scheduled to arrive on 09/04. On 09/03 midnight, delivery magically changes to 09/08 and item is finally delivered on 09/08 late evening. Reading horror stories about Newegg, I check the items immediately and to make matters worse, one of the items, valued at $99.00 is not working. I try to request a refund and the refund value is displayed as $16.00!!! So I guess I'll rather stick with the defective piece rather than to get $16 back for something that I paid $100 for. The items were delivered on 09/08 (today), validation done by me within 2 hours of delivery and now the refund value is $16.00. Is this a joke? Also, the return period of the item is 30 days. The item was delivered on 09/08 and the return period says 20 days more! Where did the 10 days magically disappear?

I ordered a computer fan/heatsink, waited a very long time, and when it arrived the wrong item was shipped. It was VERY obvious that this IS NOT the same item ordered. I contacted them and was asked "How do you know it's not the same item?" - and - I was required to pay for the return shipping. So let's get this straight: I order a product, the wrong product is sent, and I have to pay to return your mistake. Maybe there is another - GIANT - online seller that sells prime things that despite their somewhat, at times "questionable" business practices: at least they own up to their mistakes. Will I get a refund? I don't know, I don't trust them to send me one despite me send the product back the day I received it. And, I don't care: NewEgg is dead to me and this review is the last I will think of them. R.I.P.

On 8/29/20, I checked the tracking and the order has not been picked up? On 8/31, I checked the tracking and the Newegg website says my order is in transit, but the carrier claims it has not been picked up, and is waiting for a label? On 9/1/20, the same tracking info, but website says it is waiting pickup by the carrier.
Today, on 9/2/20, it shows it is still sitting at the warehouse for newegg? Guess New Egg is cracked and waiting for men to put it together again! Oh, and I have sent repeated emails (4 of them) with no response. I am trying to cancel the order that has not been shipped, but they charged my CC? I applied for a return label, so guess that will be refused if and when it is ever delivered. New Egg is a joke...

Please stay away from this company! I wanted my order by a certain date as it was important, and I told them to change the shipping speed within 30 mins of placing the order, they straight up said no (I was willing to pay the price difference). When I tried to return a refundable item they suddenly started telling me about all these hidden re-stock fees, label fees, etc which was about 50% of the whole payment. And their delivery times suck! The only thing worse? are their customer service reps. The guy literally just said "Just keep it if it works" on a $260 item!

TL;DR: When it comes to buying a high-demand item that may be low stock, don't trust Newegg's own website item inventory; you will get a 24 hour wait before an automatic order cancellation and then customer service will lead you around in circles before offering you a $10 coupon. So the full story, it's COVID time and I'm trying to upgrade my graphics card to handle my new 4K TV–turns out you need lots of VRAM to handle all those pixels, let alone textures in 3d games–and every major retailer is out of the recent generation of video cards. It's August 30th 2020 and you can't find a 2080 Super or a 2080 Ti of ANY variety almost anywhere except for 3rd party vendors who mark up the price $200 to $400.
On Friday I thought I got lucky and spotted an EVGA 2080 Super in stock at Newegg. I quickly purchased it, elected for expedited processing which they charge $3 for, expedited shipping, the works. Even a 3 year warranty. I get an order confirmation email and a payment processing email from Paypal since that was my choice of payment. Everything looked fine.
All afternoon long I refresh the Order Status page and it just says "Order Processing: Estimated Processing Date: 8/28". A few minutes past 5pm PST, and it says the same thing. I start to worry. I check again before midnight, same thing. Then after midnight it changes to just "Order Processing" and no date info. The next day, exactly 24 hours after placing the order, I get an email saying the order was cancelled because, according to them, the payment was unable to be processed. I go online to see if I can order again and wouldn't you know it, the 2080 Super is out of stock again and now the only option is a 3rd party vendor who marks it up $280.
I go to the customer service chat on Newgg.com and it was basically a giant waste of time. They lied to me about why it was cancelled (gave me several conflicting stories), told me whatever they thought I needed to hear to stop bothering them about the order, said they could do nothing, and finally one of them offered me a laughable $10 coupon. I told them what I wanted was for them to send me the exact same item through their 3rd party seller on their website at the price that I had paid the day before. This is a difference of $280.
It's a lot but let's review the facts; they didn't have an accurate account of their in-stock items, instead of reviewing and cancelling my item in a timely manner they let a 24 hour period lapse where they didn't process my order and their system must have automatically cancelled it, and upon contacting them I was told it was my payment provider's fault and that there was nothing they could do. I think a fair solution was right there in front of them–that they sell me an item offered on their website at the price I had agreed to pay the day before–but they would not agree to it.
This isn't quite at the level of scamming, but that's a low bar to even be talking about. Their inventory system is a mess. Their fulfillment center must be running like a chicken with its head cut off. Worst of all though is that when they have a way to make things right, they refuse to do it; when they can quickly resolve an issue, they leave you hanging and let you waste your own time waiting for them to process a purchase that they won't even process because the item was either never in stock in the first place or they had some kind of simultaneous purchase incident.
I first used Newegg in the early 2000s. I honestly might have to use them again in the future. But now I know who they really are. I heard they were sold to another owner some years back, and this kind of nickel and dime mentality is common with new company owners. They don't think about their long-term reputation. They don't think about customer loyalty. They think about how to tell you "no". They think about charging you for faster processing and doing nothing in return: a $3 do-nothing button. They're not trustworthy and not reliable. Shop elsewhere whenever you can; don't trust an "In Stock" notice from Newegg ever again; I won't.

The shipper refused to remove the signature mandate, despite my wish for no-contact delivery due to want to stay safe during Covid, and Newegg did nothing about it. They wouldn’t even let me change my address to a place where there was at least a doorman. Further, when contacted many times they kept condescendingly saying “as we said” and “to be clear yet again” though my questions were different each time.

I have been a Newegg customer for over 10 years--hundreds of orders. Their customer service is now dead. Spent over 3 hours taking pictures to document and return the wrong product they sent me (because they only take UPS returns). Obviously the box was way too small and the weight was 1.5 lbs (instead of 8 lbs on the RMA label). For a $32 return (instead of the $140 part I ordered)? And they won't refund shipping for their screw up? And then wait 6-10 business days for the replacement (that will probably be wrong or broken). They are now a joke. Look elsewhere--there are dozens of better options.

I Purchased 2 tiVo items from Newegg. Or at least I thought it was from them. Seems like everything I purchase from them was from a third-party vendor. So any price matching was inexistent and if I wanted a refund I would have to deal with the actual seller. Which was not newegg. So be careful. I would not recommend purchasing from them. Also... prices were much higher from Newegg once I compared with other vendors.

I ordered a MSI X570 Motherboard. I needed it ASAP so I paid for "Rush processing" and "overnight shipping." Ordered on 8-17-2020, place the order and it was confirmed thru UPS that I would be getting a package the next day. Well I waited all day at home to get the thing, it is now the following day and no package and according to UPS and Newegg, the package has Yet to ship out. I contacted their customer service, each time I am told "To wait." If I had wanted to wait I wouldn't have paid extra to "wait." They refuse to help.

So, I originally ordered a Lian Li fan controller which had only 1 picture and no description on the site. When I received it, it turned out to be a LED fan controller that has a 6-pin plug. I have a lian li case that neither the fan power nor the fan led can plug into that, and it was not mentioned on the site. After spending an awfully long time waiting for support (I ended up falling asleep the first time I called waiting for about 30 minutes with a quoted time of 6-14 minutes, and the second time was answered in a short 6 or so minutes), I was greeted by a customer service agent named Loretta. She was EXTREMELY helpful, worked through the issue with me, and also noticed the fact that there is no description or anything on the website. After explaining my issue, she was kind and understanding and managed to work something out. Very good experience, and I recommend her!

I bought some RAM for my PC and it did not work with my Laptop, I asked for a return and refund and was given an RMA number and an address to return it to in Canada. I should have realized that seemed weird but I went ahead and sent it there. Now it has been over a month and multiple contacts to customer service that just tell me to keep waiting 3 to 5 business days. I am through waiting and asked to start a claim for a refund and now, after a month of being told to wait, I am told that I cannot even start a claim since I sent the return to their warehouse in Canada and not their warehouse in California. Huh. That was the address they gave me. Still waiting for their Internal Help Center to get back to me now. If you plan to buy something from this outfit, be sure that you won't need to return it.

Newegg ended up issuing me a refund for both my return postage fees and my restocking fees. Of course that was after writing this review on ConsumerAffairs and going back and forth with a rep a few times. So I still ended up wasting significant time for something that should never have been an issue. For that reason I'm still leaving 2 stars...Bumped up from 1. Thanks to their support team. I feel sorry for them having to deal with this stuff daily.

I ordered about $9,000 of computer gear from Amazon for a tech client. I returned several items to them no questions asked. One piece of gear was faulty, one the client simply did not need after all. They did not care about the circumstance of the returns. I ordered 2 sticks of memory from Newegg that I couldn't find on Amazon or elsewhere. The memory didn't work (didn't test if it was incompatible or faulty), but I Iost $45 in return labels and restock fees. Almost 1/4 of the cost of the memory sticks. Insane. Not only that, but the memory arrived FOUR DAYS later than the estimated delivery date, which was the ONLY reason I bought from Newegg and not elsewhere. Not sure how this return policy can compete with Amazon, but I really regret purchasing here. Even random sellers on eBay have a better return policy for the exact same items I purchased and I probably would have gotten the items faster and with better tracking info. What a shame.

Always have used Newegg since early 2000's to build computers. I finally had one DOA and had to RMA it. The entire process took an entire month, when it should have taken half that max. I called support and they could not offer me any solutions to expedite or refund me money. Just made me wait over 2 weeks for "processing". I will just being using Amazon from here on out. Buyer beware when returning products.

Updated on 09/14/2020: Ordered webcam, never came in. Customer service was no help. Disputed charges & item finally came in months late. Refused return. Finally after months accepted the return than failed to return my money I paid. Never once tried to help locate missing item. Once item came in months late they said it was past the return date even though it was delivered past the return date.

Laptop was much smaller than pictured, more for a child. I had to pay $48 dollars to return the item, including $13.00 in shipping. During my purchase exchange, I got a pop up to add a box of surgical makes for approx. $17 dollars, I made the mistake of buying them as well. Easily, 25% of them break whenI'm first putting them on, they are so cheaply made! I told customer service of my dissatisfaction, and got no apology, or offer to replace. You are better off buying where you can return unused merchandise for free!!

Unbelievable experience with Newegg customer service today. Got an RMA Approval email on 8/3 stating, "Your return ( RMA Number: *****) has been posted, which means that the contents have been verified and your return has been approved. If your return was processed for a refund, you should receive your refund to your original form of payment within 3 - 5 business days."
3 days later I get a rejection email stating that my RMA was rejected and that the "reason is listed below" with no reason listed in the email. Although the reason magically appeared when I opened chat. Agent also tried telling me that I requested a replacement when I literally have the email from Newegg showing that I requested a refund on 7/7. All of this after I got the RMA Approval email notifying me to expect a refund. What a wild ride Newegg's garbage system has put me through. Thanks for sending me a broken item and a bill. I'd recommend steering clear of Newegg for products that need to be RMA'd often (mobos, etc...). Not worth the hassle of arguing with their agents over the misinformation their system gives them.

I would rate it lower if I could, I had an issue with the package that was sent before (Showed a deliver by date when ordering and paying, when date came they claimed it was really a different date). I should have never used them again. With everything that is going on with the USPS I made sure it would be shipped using UPS. Well they fail to mention they only use UPS to give it to USPS. Now they are doing a claim process that can take an additional 7-10 business days, and I am sure even longer after that to get my money back. I ordered the package July 19th with estimated 4-7 business days delivery time frame. it is now August 8th.
I will literally use any other company even if I am paying more just to avoid NewEgg. If I hear of anyone even THINKING of using NewEgg they will get an ear full from me, and my recommendation will be to use ANYONE else. I am now in the process of finding every review site I possibly can, so I can blast newegg. That is how bad my experiences with this company have been. I will be loud and vocal to any and all about it.

This was the worse shopping experience I have had in almost 20 years of business. Below are two of my recent orders related to a sale they were having:
2. Crucial 32GB (2 x 16GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866.
I had a large order for 3 different builds I was working on. This motherboard and this ram was DOA. The good news and the start of my complaint is with the motherboard. I ordered two of the above boards but then the customer only needed one. I ordered the boards separately, since the customer wasn't sure at first if he wanted the second system. This was done over the weekend. The order was made on Saturday and I cancelled the second board the following day on Sunday and emailed the seller the cancellation. Then Monday evening, more than 24 hours after cancellation, they shipped both boards and said they weren't able to cancel it in time.
As you are aware Dumbegg has a restocking fee. The good news for me is that one of the two boards did work so it actually worked out for me. My return was received a week ago on 7/27/2020 and I have yet to receive my refund. I call customer service today who doesn't seem to care at all. Standard response given for delay in refund. We're a little behind, call back on Friday to check status. Friday will been two weeks not since I returned the item, but since they have received the return. I've learned my lesson for doing business with the egg.

I ordered and got a tracking #. Product never showed shipped. Customer service stated tracking # was invalid and that happens a lot! Filed a claim which was never addressed so ended up cancelling, requesting refund and Re-ordering. Second order placed and got tracking # again. Again product never showed any movement so again contacted customer service and told invalid tracking #, and again claim could take up to 10 days to resolve. There is truly no follow up and customer service does nothing but tell you they will email warehouse which could be another 10 days to resolve.

After spending almost $2000 on a new build PC, I was sent 2 faulty parts that made it impossible to complete the build. I immediately called them (2 days after receiving shipment to tell them I'd like to return all items since they ship faulty parts. They fought with me for DAYS trying to just issue me store credit and not accept my returns. Finally, they said I could return the items AT MY OWN SHIPPING EXPENSE AND ONLY RECEIVE PARTIAL REFUND. In the end, I will only get about half of my money back after being sent bad products. MAKE SURE YOU DO YOUR OWN DUE DILIGENCE BEFORE SHOPPING HERE!

What a horrible experience. I ordered a PSU, and was given a fake tracking number. I ended up getting it from somewhere else. The PSU finally did come in the mail. So I started the RMA process, and what a joke. They finally said I was getting my refund in 3-5 days. Well day 7 comes around and no refund. Then they told me, if I had a case open with PayPal, I had to close it before I would get my refund. This made me feel really worried. I am the point now, where I call the Attorney General, The FEC and FTC and a personal lawyer and sue the crap out of them from my time and lost money. I have recorded all my time spent having to deal with this.

Newegg seemed like the perfect site to place an order for my new PC in June 2020. I opted to order the individual components and build the PC at home. AMD Ryzen 3600 was at a discount due to a gift code that AMD was supposed to accept upon logging in from the PC containing the newly installed Ryzen CPU. In the real world - AMD's code had expired in May 2020 - more than 3 weeks before I have place my order with Newegg. Once the code was rejected by AMD, and they were very specific that the mistake was made by Newegg since they have announced the expiry dates very clearly, Newegg's "support" team did nothing to support and eventually left my last email unanswered. Crappy attitude, no accountability, go build with other company.

I've been a customer of Newegg for over 10 years and the last few weeks shopping with them have been so horrible. I've never had to write a bad review for a company and this time I felt so "disgusted" I had to write a review. To my surprise I noticed that in 2020 there are so many bad reviews for the company. This used to be my go to company for computer parts and now... I have to go elsewhere.
I made a purchase for a build and some of the parts were lost in shipping. I still have not reviewed a replacement of a refund and have been told in an email 1-2 business days for some indication of a refund. It's been 5 and I contacted them and now they say 7-10 business days. Really? Amazon contacted me when one of my orders was lost and offered a replacement or refund. The refund was issued immediately. Newegg's customer service just answers the phone. They have no other function. If I don't see the refund in the next few days, I am disputing it with my card carrier. I know this will get lost in a sea of negative complaints that newegg is receiving, however I had to get this information out so that maybe it'll help someone else shopping on the site. Avoid the site. Maybe we'll get lucky and the State attorney General will shut them down soon.

So here is my experience with NewEgg, I bought a $1200 3D printer because I want to expand 3D printing parts for Covid Patients and supply hospitals with needed supplies. I received the printer, it had a shipping label with my address and the shippers return address, The shipper as I found out is a third party company "Letwing Digital" a Chinese based company. When I opened the box there was a completely different printer, an Ender 5 Plus which retails on NewEgg for around $560.
I call Newegg, they are basically telling me this is a market place item and they can't help me with anything, I have to reach out to the seller. NewEgg did send me a return label so I went ahead and sent it back to them. There was a return address and a phone number on the shipping label, so I call first (actually called them for over 4 days and left messages) no response.
So I write them an email, Explaining that I received the wrong printer and the receipt for mailing back the printer. They tell me that the weight is different from what they sent me, on the original packing slip it shows 58lbs, and on the return when UPS scanned it shows 51lbs. So they start rudely accusing me that I sent them a different package because their original weight was 58lbs. Then the representative starts accusing me of fraud, that I'm trying to scam them.
So I call Fed Ex, the original carrier to when I received the item, I ask for weighted data points, carriers weight packages throughout their trip to the destination, depending on location, there is at least 3-5 weight it points that the system records. Fed Ex confirmed that they basically printed a shipping label with incorrect info. The box dimensions didn't match the actual box and the weight was different. Basically, when a shipper creates the label they can put anything on it, Fed Ex doesn't really verify anything, just scans them internally.
Then I go to Newegg's website and see the printer is out of stock, my guess is that they oversold the printer and sent me a wrong one playing stupid. I collect the data, have pictures of the package received, have video evidence of me opening the box to see that is was a wrong item, even says the printer name on the box. Have evidence of my home camera with the Fed Ex delivery person carrying the exact same box to my house and yet, Newegg doesn't want to deal with this and the Shipper is now ignoring me. Newegg didn't even apologize.... The next step is court I guess....And as the shipper is a Chinese company so I will be reporting them to the Ministry of Public Security and China Consumers Association. I also don't have a problem trolling Fred Chang....

I bought the 5700 XT from Newegg and I was having minor problems with the card. I heard the GPU have driver issue but bought it otherwise since some people say they didn't have any problem. I didn't want to take the risk of more problems so I try to return it. It cost a big whopping $60 stocking fee for having the item for like two days. They don't even pay for shipping to send it back so you have to pay for that too. I also read that some people say Newegg didn't even accept their returns. If you do buy from Newegg, make sure you going to keep the item or else it will cost you money! Otherwise go buy somewhere else like Amazon. I return stuff from there before with no stock fee and got my full payment back!

Horrible customer service experience. I ordered the wrong item and sent it in for a return (new&unopened). As this was my mistake I was happy to pay shipping both ways, but was disgusted when they charged 15% fee to return them. I work for a small e-commerce shop and we reserve fees like this for returns that are received used, damaged, or missing parts but they charge it on all returns. Amazon had same price but I wanted to support the smaller company, sadly I won't be back.

I tried for over a week to purchase an item from this online resaler. It was a NIGHTMARE! Because you may only use one form of payment at the time of check out, and the item I wanted exceeded my payment method, I ended up purchasing gift cards to make up the difference. However, those took anywhere from 3 to 24 hours to come to fruition. Then, once I placed my order (WED) I found out FRIDAY that my order was cancelled, as the laptop I wanted was not in stock. Anyone who has ever had a laptop die on them understands that vital necessity of needing another device asap. Apparently, NO ONE AT NEWEGG.COM understood or understands this.
Come Monday, I tried finding another comparable product and I finally found one. And instead of NewEgg.com charging my NewEgg credit card, they charged my personal credit card. Upon reaching out to fix this, they said 'nothing could be done.' I spoke to three different people at three different management levels who all said the same thing. This was such a HORRIBLE experience for me. And I'm quite convicted to ensure that no one has to endure this shoddy, uncaring, unresponsive and disingenuous company!! On an aside, the computer finally did arrive. Literally the box was OPENED and the product was falling out of it!!!

Order has been sitting still for 5 days. Placed an order for a graphics card on the 17th. The label was created on the 18th and then shipped to Baldwin Park, CA on the 19th. The wait times to get in contact with customer service are ridiculous. I finally got hold of one and he filed a claim for a missing item when I called to report a delayed shipment. In the email with the claim it says it takes 3-5 business days for a missing item and then another 7-10 business days for a lost shipment. This is a ridiculous amount of waiting time and I doubt they intend to compensate me. I just want my item.

Then after you tell them that you have waited over a month for a product that they promised to get to you in 3 weeks, that you want to cancel. They refuse. They say it's on the way. I ordered June 8 and received it on July 23. They purchase stuff from China and lie to you as to when the product will be delivered. Newegg used to be a good and trustworthy company. That has changed. I will never buy from them again and I strongly urge anyone to not buy from them.

I placed an order at Newegg. They shipped the item to the wrong address. Used their chat to cancel the order and get a refund. Instead they had the item re-shipped even though I told them during the chat that I had ordered the item during the chat and cancel the order. They re-shipped it in a way that would require me to pay a fee to pick it up. I refuse to pay a fee to get the item. I have gone around and around and around with Newegg and they steadfastly refuse to provide a timely refund. It has now been over 3 weeks and I don't expect them to refund my money any time soon (or at all). I have read a few reviews here and Newegg has bent over backwards to resolve the issues. Surprised that they have refused to do so with me. So beware, not everyone is pleased nor do they treat all their customers right.

I placed an order at 3:52 pm and tried to cancel it less than 3 hours later. Finally 2 days later after emailing and unsuccessfully using their chat feature, I was able to speak to someone who did cancel the order after waiting on hold for 45 minutes. I confirmed that the credit would be for the total amount already charged to my PayPal account. I received a credit for the price of the item less the tax. I have again tried reaching Newegg and it is virtually impossible. I have waited on the phone for two hours twice plus waited on chat for 45 minutes and no one responded.. There is no other way to contact them that I know. They either need more customer service reps or to do a better job so that they don't need more. I feel cheated. Even PayPal is getting difficult to reach.

I ordered a Corsair ax850 PSU. An hour later I got an email stating that they are out of stock and my order has been cancelled. I thought it was odd because when I ordered the PSU it said “New Arrivals.” So I search the product again on their website and turns out the price was raised a bit over $20. I emailed them to tell them that you can see that the PSU was in fact still in stock. I got no response. Extremely shady practice. If you google this type of transaction, they have done it plenty of times before. Beware.

Updated on 06/11/2020: Newegg, this company is specialized at CONSUMER THEFT. Some of my orders are in the process of reimbursement which it will take 7-10 business days due to shipping issue. They don't give any updates or reasons after the process. Sadly after going through this excruciating process. You'll end up not getting the reimbursement or your money back. Which it'll end up to another investigation until they get the returned item. Company looks legit but it's a fraud.
Original: Shipping delivery could be a scam, customer service can't reach due to high volume of calls each day, delivery of items does not certainly arrive. UPS does not recognize the the tracking number of orders. It could be the vendor or it could be the shipping. In the end you'll end up refunding or returning the item so it's a waste of time.

I have purchased a couple of "Refurbished" Headsets from them recently, which were not refurbished, just used. One of them still had some kind of food crusted in the docking unit. Gross. I just figured it was a mistake, so I ordered 2 monitors for my organization from Newegg Business in March 2020. They received the payment check, cashed it, then canceled my order for "Non-payment". Apparently the accounting dept. was not communicating with the distribution dept.
After a lengthy phone call, they admitted that it was their error and reactivated the order. Received a notification a few hours later that the order was canceled again. Called them back just to be told that the items were no longer in stock and they were going to issue a refund check to be mailed out that same day. That was April 13th. I have still not received the refund and it is now JUNE! I just got off of the phone with Newegg Business Customer Service (again) and got the same run-around. They promised me that they sent out the check on April 14th, but the last person I talked to a month ago promised to stop payment on the original check, since it clearly did not arrive, and issue a new one. So, who is telling the truth? They are either lying to customers or are just incompetent.
How can a legitimate company make so many mistakes and expect to keep customers? Well, they can't. Which is why there is 99% 1 star reviews for them since Jan 2020. Newegg is not Newegg anymore and if you have been a long time customer like me, then you should just find a new place to shop or prepare to get swindled. Newegg has had hundreds of my non-profit organization's dollars for 3 months now because of their mistake and every time I call them, they tell me "The check is in the mail". The last person I talked to actually started getting hostile when I pointed out the discrepancy (lies) that they were pushing. No service, shady practices, and (as of now) theft of hundreds of dollars. This is not Newegg, this is a Nightmare.

The product shipped relatively quickly. I was very happy with the product at first sight. The problem is that the motion sensors had batteries explode in them leaving them useless. This is after following the instructions installing the panel to my wall and wiring it together. Newegg solution was a full refund which entailed me unwiring my product and leaving a hole in my wall. There are a lot of companies that will stand by their product and shippers. I surprisingly found out the hard way. Newegg is not one of them.

I purchased an item, a network storage drive, from a third-party seller via Newegg. When I received the product on April 28th it was broken. I started a return, but due to my city being shut down due to COVID-19 I didn't have anywhere to actually drop the package off to be shipped. Newegg finally received the product On June 2nd - 4 days outside of their normal return policy. Normally I would consider this my fault and carry on with life, but I expected Newegg to be understanding under the circumstances.
Instead, Newegg told me to contact the third-party seller. There's a couple of problems with that: Not only would the seller not respond to my emails, but shortly after I purchased the product Newegg had removed the seller from the site, indicating that they had reason to believe that the seller was engaged in shady business practices. Due to Newegg's inability or perhaps unwillingness to appropriately vet their sellers and their refusal to waive *4 days* late shipping during a pandemic, I have been ripped off of two hundred dollars ($200!).

I placed an order for well over $3000 on May 30th and paid for 2 day air. On the scheduled delivery date (June 2) 2 of my 3 boxes showed up. After contacting UPS via phone and going to the ship center in person, I learned that my 3rd box was on a TRUCK in Baldwin Park, CA. New Egg did give me a refund on the 2 day air, but said that UPS gave me the wrong information and that the package was not on a truck. It is now JUNE 5TH and I have no THREE THOUSAND dollar package in my possession. UPS has no answers for me and New Egg has no answers for me.
And now New Egg will leave a copy/paste response about how they apologize for the inconvenience and how if I send them my order # they'll look into it further. Even though I've already spent 3 separate phone calls attempting exactly that. The last call being with a female who condescendingly said "Uuuuuh it's probably delayed, did you not know that the world has protests going on?" I asked them to contact UPS to push for more info, they refused. I asked them to expedite me replacement parts and to cancel the original box, they refused. I STILL have no answer and am without my $3300 worth of parts. Being delayed due to world events is one thing, keeping folks in the dark about the status of their expensive items is 100% unacceptable. New Egg gained and lost what would have been a tens of thousands of dollars customer. At this point if New Egg had the cure for the Corona Virus I'd still be looking to buy elsewhere.

I placed an order for a SSD and paid by credit card. It was declined. I called my bank and they said there were no problems with my card or account. I tried again but no good. I tried another credit card and process just hung until upstream timed out. Gave up on the chat after waiting for 25mins. Cancelled order. Also. Couldn't get back into my order as it didn't recognize the order number which I copied from the email confirmation sent by Newegg.

I bought parts to build a computer. I received case, graphics card, memory, and an ssd. However, I never got the power supply and motherboard that I ordered from the site. They provided tracking number, I investigated and turns out they never sent the item. I confirmed this with both UPS and USPS. I called their customer support and they said that it would take 7-10 business days to get my money back or replace the item. This is unfair and theft.

Item: 9SIAMXZB910156 - Product description: "Breath Valve Mask PM2.5 Air Purifying Influenza Anti-Dust Anti Pollution Personal Protective Care". This mask is a simple open cell urethane "cover" that will not stop anything other than rough cut sawdust. The product is neither purifying, nor protective. You can see through the item. I only opened one package, out of four. The refund claim is denied as being a "consumable item". I am an expert in foam materials and am very familiar with this product. Anyone thinking this is a protective product should be warned. CAUTION: This mask will not stop anything. The whole deal is a scam because the product came from China and I doubt very seriously that the company has any intention of cooperating. A UPS label was available for $12, that would be subtracted from any credit. Now the credit is denied for the above reason. This product is a sham.

Newegg returns denied my motherboard MB replace request RMA. Newegg cited "pin damage and thermal paste present." When I received the motherboard I inspected the socket pins. I contacted ASUS tech support and was assigned a service no. I verified with ASUS support that the socket pins looked OK. I used a magnifying glass to inspect all pins and they were OK. I saved emails with ASUS tech support.
Upon installation of all the components, the MB had a orange light indicating to troubleshoot the RAM memory. I installed 100% tested DIMMs in different configurations and still the MB did not work. Nothing appears on the monitor connected to the MB display output. Thus, I determined there was an issue with the MB, possible the circuit to the memory was the problem.
Newegg then emails me that the replace or return was denied. Upon contacting customer service via chat I was told "pin damage and thermal paste present." First of all, there is no pin damage. I had concerns about this and had contacted ASUS already. I had indicated to ASUS that after viewing the pins with a magnifying glass, I saw no issues. Pins were not bent. Secondly, thermal paste has to be applied to the CPU when installing the CPU cooler. If any thermal paste did remain on the MB, it has no bearing on the RMA. Of course, there might be traces of thermal paste, I have to use thermal paste to install the CPU cooler onto the CPU in order to build the system.
I did not damage the pins during installation or removal. The plastic socket cover was installed immediately after the CPU was removed. I used the same packaging box and materials for return shipping. The supervisor stated the damage could have occurred during return shipping. How can socket pins (covered by a hard plastic protector) be damaged inside a shipping box with all of the original packaging material? It amazes me that a supervisor would even make such a ludicrous claim.
The issue of the DOA motherboard involves the memory DIMM circuitry. I stated I have a photo of the motherboard with the orange LED light on, along with all the other component LEDs (ARGB) lights being operational. Throughout the uninstall process I was very careful in removing the CPU. And used the placed the socket cover back on when I packaged the MB for return.
I requested a supervisor to contact me. I received an email that the MB was being shipped back to me, before I could even speak to a supervisor. I have all the ASUS service email documented by emails. The supervisor at Newegg denied my RMA after simply repeating everything that was already stated in chat. I even stated I had photos of the RAM memory LED light. I offered to send all the email correspondence with ASUS tech support.
Newegg used a fictitious claim to deny the RMA replacement of the motherboard. Newegg has used the claim of "pin damage and thermal paste present" with many other motherboard RMAs. Just do a search. Why even use thermal paste present as a reason? Of course thermal paste was used to install a CPU cooler to build the system. In order to identify if the motherboard is defective, the motherboard has to be installed.
The supervisor and the customer service agent did not even listen to my stated reasons. All I heard from them was "pin damage and thermal paste present." The return department can deny any motherboard RMA with this approach. Beware of buying anything at Newegg. You are gambling. I will not be shopping with Newegg again. I had been a Newegg customer for over 10 years. I will be pursuing this matter with the Department of Consumer Affairs, California. I will be contacting my credit card company in order to process a chargeback.

I was charged double on my latest order from Newegg, causing my credit card to go over its limit. One charge was cleared, but the other was listed as pending. After waiting about 5 days with no change I decided to contact customer support. I asked if they would be able to do anything about the double charge, to which they denied even seeing a double charge. I then asked how long the pending charge would take to clear, as I was unable to even use my credit card during this time period. I never got an answer to this and gave up as they were seemingly giving me no straight answers to my questions.
After 7 entire days of being unable to use my credit card, the pending charge was finally dropped. I have lost all trust for newegg with my money and will no longer be purchasing from them in the future. Be aware, if you have any problems with your order you'll be facing terrible customer support, and possible issues with double charging cards.

I purchased a generator for a good price, but entered wrong street address. Two days later when I noticed the error, I contacted Newegg. Phone wait time was 1.5 hours, so instead I chatted. The customer service was very nice and said they would correct the error. A week later, just one day before delivery, I notice the address was still wrong. I called UPS, but they stated only sender could change the address. I then called Newegg, waited 35 minutes before being connected, and was told they would not call UPS to correct. Stated policy was to wait for the item to be returned, then credit my account. This should take 3-4 weeks. They then advised me to reorder.
I explained the price is now $80 higher and would they honor for the lower price. They respond NO. I argued if I was told this during my first call when the price was lower, I could have repurchased then. What a bad experience. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told they would contact me. Call never came. BAD, BAD SERVICE. Do not use this company. This could happen to you.

Such a poor experience. I work in IT and specifically in the customer service area. I will be sure to share my experience with as many fellow IT people as possible. I purchased a TV. It arrived 2 weeks later with a smashed screen. After waiting forever on the phone I finally speak to someone who seems very friendly. They help me file a claim, but failed to explain the return process. I had to try and contact customer service multiple times to get a straight answer on how the return procedure works for "large scale items". Now that I know the processes, it's fairly simple, but it seems much more complicated from the emails and lack of communication.
Instead of a refund, I asked for an exchange, but the TV was out of stock and NewEgg informed me that they couldn't offer me a deal on another in-stock TV. I tried to buy the same TV again through their market place, but I had an issue with my NewEgg Credit Card, which I opened just to buy this TV. Once I was able to clear up the issue with the credit card, I asked NewEgg to now charge the card. They informed me that a glitch in their system wouldn't allow me to use that card and would have to supply another card. I explained that the only reason I opened the card was to buy a TV.
To use my card, I had to buy through newegg and not their market place. Since they no longer had the model I wanted in stock, the only option was to buy the next model up. This is a $500 difference, which they did offer me a $100 off coupon for. I wasn't happy about spending that much more, but I wanted to be able to use my NewEgg card since I has just opened.
Cut to 2 weeks later, the new (more expensive) TV arrives. I unbox it -- it's defective! 4 inch black strip down the left side of the screen. I call again to file yet another claim. Again the customer service rep seemed very friendly, but all they could do is offer me $100 off another TV purchase. I asked for my case to be escalated. I asked them to offer me the new model of the TV at the same, more expensive, price. They refused and would only offer me $100 for my troubles.
It's now been almost 6 weeks - I have no TV and $1,000's of dollars on the NewEgg credit card that's waiting to be refunded. Also -- I hadn't heard back from the shipping company about picking up the broken TVs, even though NewEgg emailed me and said the shipping company tried to call me.. I called the shipping company today to try and clear things up. Now I'm waiting to hear back. I really hope these TVs are picked up soon and my money is refunded. Ultimately I didn't feel as though they cared much about their customers. Their shipping isn't horrible, but it could use some more transparency into the process.

I have purchased from these folks many times over the past few years and always been completely satisfied. Ordered a webcam recently without carefully looking into the supplier and now am out the cost and unable to get any response from Newegg. They seem to have transitioned to a system of providers who are in China. Many of whom do not live up to the sales but take your money and go. This order forwarded an tracking number that is bogus and untrackable even on China Post. No more Newegg for me.

I have ordered twice from this company, once for a business and once for myself. Both times the third party failed to get me my product. I have followed protocol. Newegg only sends out emails. It's down to you alone to get it resolved in some kind of timely manner. The customer service rep which I could only reach via chat online gave me attitude and then disconnected when I asked her to intervene which they have zero ability to do short of an email. Lesson learned.

I wrote a One Star NewEgg review this morning at 04:30 after finding myself in NewEgg's automated return protocol for hard drives that were in no way going to work. I have been working on a rebuild after a fatal crash and I waited ten days for these drives. I was just about to slam them in and start installing programs. NewEgg's return policies are rough. Know that going in. However, after writing my earlier review I was able to contact them this morning. They stepped up and made it right. Five Stars are for their doing proper customer support and relieving me of the stress created by all the return related charges. I Still Have No Drives -- but I do have deadlines...

I ordered two TOSHIBA MG03SCA300 3TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SAS 6Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drives. The hook up is nonstandard on these drives. They can not work in my machine. In the listing of the drives there was no indication that these drives were nonstandard. If there was it was not clear as I ordered these to install in my computer thinking they would use the same connectors as other drives in my machine. I returned them. They were $70. each for $140. The company wants to charge me $16 bucks to return them when I am sure this is not my error. I could ship them both for half that. Hey but the bottom line on the return is $119. They are giving me $59.50 for the drives I paid $70. each for. My Invoice shows it all.
This is my last interaction with NewEgg. I've been a good customer but now I understand how there are all these Beware -- NewEgg-Rip-Off reviews around. This is just abuse for profit. I'm going to take the $37.00 hit because NewEgg has demonstrated by this game of undervaluing my purchase at the point of return that they are not straight and I can not trust that NewEgg is interested in my return business -- ha, they just burned me, why would I ever return? I wish I had taken those other reviews to heart. Be careful with this company. I had to open one of the drives to know it would not work and there are all these BS charges.... and I Still Have No Drives!

I went out to purchase a phone and found it on Newegg. I'd purchased from them in the past (15 years +), so I got the phone I wanted (900 dollars). I didn't know it at the time, but I was on their "Market Place" and the phone was provided by some other company. When I went to set it up I found out that it wasn't compatible with Verizon's network, so I went to return it. Found out that there is a 15% restocking fee for anything on newegg and this company charges a 20% restocking fee. I also had to pay for the shipping back.
I exchanged emails with the other company for several days and they said they were going to charge me 20%. I waited for a month and a half and no money came back. I called newegg and sat on hold for about 15 minutes and then she said she needed to send me to their market place group, so I waited on hold for another 15 minutes. He was nice and understanding, looked up the order and that company's policy on their website and they didn't say anything about 20%, so they have now sent a message to that vendor telling them to refund 85%. The whole process should take less than 7 days now, but I'm still out about 150 dollars including shipping because I decided to get the phone I want rather than just buy a phone from verizon that would have worked the first time. I will never buy from newegg again and will be screaming my tale as long as I can.

I have ordered from Newegg before and have always had problems with them. I should have learned but this is the last time. I placed a recent order from them that stated I would receive the order within 8-14 days. A month later I have never received the product. I contacted customer service (anything but service) and was on the phone with them for over an hour. Representative (Chelsie W) kept telling me there was nothing she could do and refused to issue a refund. She gave me tracking numbers and tried to tell me the item was shipped. It was not shipped. It just said a label was created. Then she changed her mind and gave me a tracking number from a different company. It did not show anything about my order or my destination. I tried for an hour to get her to transfer me to a supervisor. It took over an hour to get her to transfer me to Cassie L.
Cassie was no better. She said she could not issue a refund because I hadn't returned the product. I can't return a product I never received!! She kept blaming it on a 3rd party seller they use and refused to take responsibility for the order I placed through them. She said she would escalate my complaint. I got an email from newegg the next day just referring me to some company in China. They also refused to refund the order telling me just to keep waiting and someday I should receive the order. Newegg is probably the most unethical company I have ever dealt with. I still don't have my product or a refund.

BUY FROM AMAZON! I purchased an MSI main board. I have had plenty of success with MSI. Product came, clearly opened, sent it back and requested RMA. Denied. Said I the end user damaged it. I reached out to MSI, who verified it was refurbished, but will fix it for a fee. I purchased the insurance, reached out to them, claim denied. I paid for new, and am completely screwed out of new product without more $ out of my pocket. Newegg peddles with insurance that had no value, after they, the retailer wouldn't make me whole after sending damaged refurbished product when I paid for new. Just plain awful. I literally did everything a consumer can to protect my investment. Next step, charge back with my credit card. I hate playing like that, but they didn't give me a choice.

This motherboard is not connecting with the cable internet even if we update the bios, after searching about the problem and reading many reviews it came to my attention that this SKU is having manufacturing default and problems with internet connection ex: every time I switch on my pc the internet (cable internet not wifi) is not being connected automatically and facing issues with this. Furthermore, if add a wireless connection, the motherboard is working perfectly…. So, the issue is the with the motherboard itself, as explained previously, all are buyers are complaining of this specific.

Newegg used to be awesome. I used them for all my computer parts for about 20 years. Now I avoid them at all cost. I hate what they've become. The site is convoluted with high priced marketplace junk from the same sellers that ruined eBay. If you decide to sift through all the garbage and see what they are actually selling, you'll find their prices are higher than just about everyone else. They have changed their policies over the years and you really need to read them closely for each product as many different items carry different return policies.
My last purchase was a GPU that failed within minutes of being installed. It came with a "free" game that I did not want and could not purchase the card without. Upon trying to rma the gpu, they tried to deduct $60 from the refund for the game. I had to contact them and wait on hold then fight with them to get refunded for the game I did not want or use. Finally get a refund a week and a half later and they did not refund the $10 shipping charge on a defective product returned within 24 hours. That was the final nail in the coffin. Personally, I don't need the headaches dealing with companies like this. Respectable companies refund shipping on defective products. I don't see any value or advantage to buying from Newegg anymore.

On April 24 2020 @ 12:23 AM EST I received a response and once again they were sorry the seller has not updated shipping info and there was no way to cancel the order. And they are still saying in the message I received 8-15 Business days. I received The Item today May 9. I realize that yes times are hard but OMG can't they have enough people to handle calls and maintain good customer relations. I am very unhappy with Newegg and if anyone ask I will tell them what I think. :( And please don't bother telling me to send a message to resolve this problem. I placed an order with them on a Friday for a digital download code thinking I would get an email with the code for steam. Instead I got an email telling me my account had been locked and the order cancelled. When I contacted customer service and even talked to a manager the only thing they would tell me is that I had to wait until Tuesday, 4 days later, for their verification team to look at my account to see if it could be unlocked.
I've had this account since newegg first started, so I really don't understand why other than I just moved and reset my password. At most my order should have been put on hold until I contacted them to verify my account. Not straight up tell me no they will not do anything at all what so ever until Tuesday after the game is off sale. I will absolutely never order anything from newegg ever again in my life after this and just told them to cancel my account. Newegg has done nothing but, go downhill since they started using their market that rips most people off anyway. This was just the last straw. Don't think they will be around much longer.

I bought a battery for my laptop 2 weeks ago and they said I will get my battery within 5-7 business days and I just tracked it and it showing coming May 7th. Only contact I had was a robot that I waited 25 min for. I asked for a refund and they told me I have to pay 16$ to return something I never got. I bought same product Tuesday from Amazon and I received it today. They are abusing the customers. Please don’t buy from them well worth 2 or 5$ more from other vendors.

I used to exclusively buy all my computer components from Newegg, but I recently had 2 back to back terrible experiences.
1) I needed a motherboard, ordered it and paid for 1-2 day shipping. The 3rd business comes around and I ask them where it's at, and they said it was out of stock (and this was actually Newegg, not just a seller on Newegg). I checked the website, it still said it was in stock... I didn't get my product for ALMOST A MONTH. Alright, it's fine, stuff happens, I order a 2nd motherboard from them
2) Motherboard #2 comes in and it is defective, so I send it back. They CLAIMED I bent a pin somewhere on the DEFECTIVE MOTHERBOARD and said they can't offer me a refund...

• They wouldn't release my money from the first motherboard, even though they couldn't tell me when my product would be in. Held my money hostage for a month.• Customer support said I wouldn't have to pay for the return shipping for the 1st motherboard, that was a lie.

I understand that it is busier than usual, but not being able to at least track your product or finding out it is lost without any notifications until I contacted them was frustrating. I had reached customer service chat and was basically told I was SOL until they completed their investigation of what happened to the package. Now I am out $250 with nothing to show for it and no replacement on the way and having to wait a full month. I'm now even unable to request a refund. I ordered facemasks from Newegg.com and they did not come on the time as the company advertised. When I checked online, the delivery # could not be traced (DHL), and when I requested online to have the company to call me at time they set, they never did. When I called them the automated voice said I would be answered in 30-35 min, but I waited for 1 hour and 20 min, I was NEVER answered. The company is there simply to cheat the customer for money and they simply used the COVID-19 situation to cheat for money. It is terrible to exploit the situation to cheat for money. It is a fraudulent company and should be sued!

To preface this, I have spent thousands on Newegg building computers for myself, others, and also buy items through Newegg for my business. After this experience I am avoiding them at all costs. I ordered an incorrect item and quickly noticed it about 5 minutes after placing the order, but when I went to cancel the order the website gave me an error and wouldn't allow me to. Afterwards I tried to contact support about this and didn't get a response till 1 am, and the rep informed me that it had already shipped so I had to wait and return it. So I receive the item, go to return it and they are telling me I have to pay return shipping.
The incredibly rude Crystal K. stated they can't offer free returns for "personal reasons", when this was clearly a website issue coupled with lack of customer service. The wait for chat service has been over hours recently, and I am now waiting on a call from a supervisor who hopefully will actually care about the customers experience.

I contacted newegg and their solution was to have me drive 90 miles and try to talk someone into giving me something I already purchase. What a joke! I contacted the seller and they told me they didn't care. I still, 3 weeks later, have no idea where the product is or if I'm ever going to see it. I HIGHLY suggest not using this website!!!

I bought a vacuum cleaner of Dyson brand in new egg spending over $200. I received a damaged item where certain pieces where broken and I realized that it was hard to assemble the item. I reached out multiple times to the customer service and all the times it was a huge wait time in online chat and I never received a callback. Last time one representative reached out to me and mentioned they are not responsible for any damage and mentioned that I need to directly reach out seller, whom I don’t had any idea about. I purchased item from their website and they are saying that they are not responsible in a very rude manner. I was seriously disappointed with the shopping experience and especially customer service. I recently purchased a Ryzen 5 3600 CPU with the intent to only pay for said CPU, 3yr Protection Plan, and taxes at an ORIGINAL total of 208.59$. During my transaction Newegg made the price adjustment of -29.99 (the value of the AMD Xbox Game Pass 'gift' that was being promoted with the CPU). After the order was processed, an invoice was sent to my email stating the above details with the ending total for the CPU and Protection Plan coming out to be 178.60$ (-29.99 discount for the free game pass). After which, I received ANOTHER invoice for the 'free gift' showing a ending price with taxes included at 32.46$. Once this was caught due to my card being charged multiple separate times, once for the 178.60, and then again for the 32.46.
I found out that Newegg had charged me a grand total 211.06$ instead of the 208.59$ I would have paid if not for the 'free gift'. The Customer service representative wasn't helpful as well in this matter either when discussing these critical details. Failing to explain why it was that they charged me an additional 2.47 for a 'free gift". I also have a 18.39$ charge separate from all of these other transactions that I still have yet to receive an invoice. Due to this poor lack of customer service help and unknown charge, I'll definitely be thinking twice before ordering from them again.

I ordered face mask on April 11, 2020. The website stated that most items ship within 3-5 days. My item took closer to two weeks to ship. I have tried contacting the company twice. One time I was number 50 in the queue and the second time I was number 13. I never got through to anyone. At this point I just want a refund. I no longer need the product. I do not trust this company and would not recommend anyone to purchase items from them. Also, I still never received the product or know which carrier was supposed to deliver the item. This company does not provide you with that information. However, what they will do is find ways to give you a partial refund. $12 to print a shipping label is insane, especially when I never received an item.

Ok first off let me say I use to love this company but the last few times I used them I got junk from them and they didn't do nothing about it the first time it happened. I bought a computer case that was bent on the rear of it like it was dropped and the hard drive I bought you could hear the heads hitting when it started up. Now at least this time they did offer to replace the drive but blew they case off (And funny thing the replacement drive did the same thing) then I got tired of having issues so I decided to replace the whole computer. So second time I decided to go a little more on what I was spending to get better stuff. Well I was wrong.
I paid 100 for my case and when I got everything put together and first time I turned it on the fans in the front didn't work so I called them again. This time I was told to tear the whole computer down and send the case back leaving my motherboard and drive unprotected because I threw the boxes out now made more sense to me to replace the fan and then they said if I wanted to replace the fan to contact the company that made the case (Deepcool) and when I looked them up they wasn't even in this country so be Warned. NewEgg doesn't stand behind what they sell!!!

Purchased a refurbished computer and was expecting what I received, (a computer that was cheaper than new, worked well, had the features I was looking for with some new hardware). Was happy to find system operating and working as promised, issue was that the keyboard was defective. The issue became the customer service, could not get through (could be the corona virus precautions), but setup call back was three hours late (couldn't take the call), attempting to write customer service, (nobody returned emails, texts or chats), so I gave up, (spending more time than the $3 keyboard was worth).

Don’t buy an ASUS laptop via Newegg. Sent wrong product, then charged $300 restocking fee after return! Purchasing from and communicating with Newegg and DealKing has been a miserable, awful experience. I initially purchased a very expensive laptop which was deceptively advertised as having a ‘g-sync’ display feature. When the laptop arrived, I quickly learned that it was the wrong product and did not carry the advertised feature. When I promptly mailed the item back, I was assured by Newegg’s staff that the return would be free-of-charge on account of the false advertising.
Weeks later, I received an email from DealKing notifying me of an outrageous $300 restocking fee. DealKing attached two images of the computer’s box and claimed that we had damaged the product’s packaging. This “damage” amounted to some minor peeling of the cardboard resulting from the packaging tape’s removal. One wonders how you’re supposed to open a package without removing its tape. I suppose the free return was conditional on never having actually opened the product? Don’t order from these people unless you’re prepared to deal with patent false advertising, absurd product inaccuracy, condescending e-mails from their support team, and unexpected, unethical surprise fees in the hundreds of dollars.

Was looking for an AMD 3960, seen that Newegg.com had a decent price on them but were out of stock like everyone else at this time. They offered to sign up for a notification when they did have some in stock. So I signed up not thinking much of it. Later that same day something came up with our business and we needed to get a move on setting up another PC sooner rather than later. So we decided for the 1 year no financing at Amazon, we would just order most the parts we needed there and settle for a lesser processor for the time being not expecting to see the 3960 available anytime soon.
2 days later get that email that it was available, excited I jumped online and ordered it with the 3 year extended warranty right then and put it on our credit card, a Total of $1702.98. Once I got the email confirmation that it was ordered and the charge showed up at the bank I canceled the order for the lesser CPU on Amazon and a motherboard to go with it. And then proceeded to order a motherboard as well from Newegg.com to go with my new AMD 3960 X Threadripper. Next day go to see if there is tracking number yet and... no record of it being ordered. Nothing. No email, saying it was canceled, no shipping date, no tracking number nothing at all about it.
The order was there for the motherboard but no CPU. So I check in the email again, get the original order number and do a search for it. Now it says that order was voided. Bank still says I was charged $1700+. Get a hold of customer service, and they can't tell me much other than, "Sorry, give you money back in a week," and basically I can keep checking back on the site to see if they get more in stock so I can loan them another $1700+ again.
I am good, I think I will pass. Unfortunately, I will also pass on ordering anything again from Newegg.com if it is a high demand item and they haven't had it in stock for a while. It is obvious they will sell more than they have and not tell you that they did until you contact them about where your items are at. Bottom line, they don't tell you when they make a mistake with your order, they just hope you never notice you loaned them the money. So even though Amazon is slow right now, at least I haven't loaned them $1700 for something I didn't get. Oh did order one from Amazon the day this happened, just have to wait a month to get it.... But I am getting it. :)

I will hesitate to ever deal with Newegg ever again. Due to some user error, I had to cancel 3 orders. This was less than an hour after placing them, I just needed to change some details on the order. They voided the orders A DAY later than I requested, and then suddenly my account was charged for something that had never even shipped. Okay, great, 3-5 business days and I'll get my money back. The worst part is, customer service explained to me that this happened because the item I ordered was on backorder. Newegg clearly states that they will not charge you for a backorder until it's in stock... Nowhere did It say that these items weren't in stock during my order process. Why was I charged for something that hadn't even shipped, nor was even in stock. By far the worst customer service experience I've ever encountered.

Our family business ordered 8 items from NewEgg in three orders. Not a single order item on the billing with any of its items matched up with what we were debited. Two items were not what we ordered and one was the "free" AMD Xbox Game Pass Gift. This "gift" was clarified with the selling agent as "no strings attached." Hmmm, not quite. We never downloaded it, but were charged tax; however, this tax was not reflected in the bill we downloaded.
Also, the final nail in the coffin was the Super EggSaver which we found attached to the bill. What is Super EggSaver?... A low-cost 2-5 business day shipping method for 'eligible items.' Did we want it? No. Did we click it? No. We have always ordered via NewEgg in the past but because we require accurate information for our BUSINESS TAXES, we will NOT be buying through NewEgg any more after this date. (03/21/20)
A certain US major internet company (Amazon) has very clear bills which correlate with each order/debit as sent out. NewEgg's ordering style is to bill everything together but send out items mostly separately and debit items separately as mailed. Still, as noted before, the amounts debited still do not add up, even with Olympian mental gymnastics. And, yes, tax was taken into account.
We definitely do not recommend NewEgg until they improve their billing practices and let their customers know before they just substitute computer parts for something they 'think' will work or adding things to the order without permission. I ordered a computer. After doing so did further research and it didn’t have all the connector ports I required. Received computer and cut the outside box to put in the return RMA documents. DON’T do that!!! Mike’s Computer Shop charges you 15% restocking fee for cutting the tape!! About $150 mistake!! Plus shipping charges to return that I was fully prepared to pay.

Once upon a time this was THE place to purchase computer upgrades. They had the best prices and customer service was exceptional. Not so anymore. Since Newegg was bought by a Chinese company, the marketplace is full of fraudulent sellers and Newegg will do nothing to correct this. You are giving your credit card to an unverified, unknown, unscreened person/fake company and Newegg will not honor marketplace refund requests. "You didn't get it? Aww too bad".
For the past week I have tried unsuccessfully to get in contact with someone, anyone at Newegg. Phone is useless, chat is useless. I am always in a queue and that number is randomly generated and doesn't decrease no matter how long you stay on the line or wait for a rep on the chat (record chat time 1 hour 25 min, I was still #12 in queue; phone call 2 hours 15 min till I got disconnected). Hundreds of complaints about cheap, defective computer parts are flooding consumer forums and Newegg will just hide. If you ignore them, they will go away. It worked, Newegg. A long time customer just went away.

We ordered a laptop from Newegg.com. The laptop arrived timely but was not as expected; the hardware was correct but clearly not a new laptop as ordered (it was refurbished) and the shell was old and heavy. We returned it the very next day in the exact same packaging. Over two weeks later we receive an email that says they are rejecting our return because it is damaged! This does not make sense. Whatever occurred did not happen under our control and we will be following up once the now apparently damaged laptop comes back to us. This is very bad business practices and customer service. You have no real recourse and we will NEVER purchase from Newegg or suggest that others do again.

After working with a NewEgg support agent I was refunded the money for the motherboard. I have updated my review to reflect this. However, I can not give 5 stars as I still had to file a complaint on Consumer Affairs to get a proper response from NewEgg. The policies of not accepting motherboard returns also remain in effect, as do the policies to not refund shipping costs in the event of shipping going far beyond the time frame of the shipping method chosen and paid for. I hope NewEgg will take these comments to heart.

I've been using Newegg as a supplier for computer parts for over ten years now and in the last couple of years their policies have become blatantly anti-consumer. Summer 2019 I bought some parts, paid for 2 day shipping, took 9 days to arrive, Newegg customer service agent refused to refund my shipping costs and told me there is no "customer vetting" system and purchasing for 10+ years is no different than a first time customer. Massively disappointing.
Recently I purchased parts for a client, specifically RAM, Ryzen 3200G APU and an ASRock motherboard. The motherboard claimed to work with 3rd gen Ryzen chips, but it wouldn't post. Popped a first gen CPU in and it booted fine. Went to return the motherboard and Newegg refused the return on the grounds of "No motherboard returns if the box has been opened". Regardless of the fact that ASRock is engaging in false advertising on their product description(s) on Newegg.
My 1-Egg review of the motherboard citing my experience has been deleted twice now. Upon reading other reviews, I am not the only one to find the motherboard I ordered didn't work as advertised yet Newegg keeps selling it with product description claiming it works with APUs. It clearly does not. Also found a handful of discussion online where other persons and small business state Newegg refuses to allow their negative reviews, removing them before they are even posted.Newegg is siding with manufacturers over their customers. They seem to not care about customer retention and are willing to sacrifice long-term customers such as myself. I have put thousands of dollars into their company through my business and personal orders over the years. It's really sad, they used to be the best electronics and computer parts company but they seem to have changed for the worse internally. Needless to say my business will be going elsewhere.

I purchased the next GPU and paid for rush processing and next day shipping. It took 4 days for the gpu to get to me and the company refuses to reimburse the next day shipping cost. Purchased a motherboard, CPU, and memory from Newegg. Either the motherboard or CPU was faulty. RMA issued and the “team” decided the motherboard was faulty…but, the CPU was damaged and will not honor a replacement. They claim it was an “End User” issue. This would be my 50 plus build and the first return I’ve ever had to make. I know how a Ziff socket works and the pics I took show the correct install and orientation of the CPU. So then the story changes and NOW it must be when I removed the CPU, which can actually fall out when the lock is released with no removal force required. If ANY damage occurred it was during return shipping of which I repacked it with the same box and packing and have no control over how it arrived.

February 3rd and the status still shows "label printed" while the product is now out of stock. I contacted web support and was told all they could do was contact the 3rd party seller with my concern. Had to dispute through my card, so we'll see where that goes. Refund my money and deal with your charge back and vendor vetting problems on your own time and dime. I'm not a free lender, and I'm not a customer any longer either.

Original Review: Recently received a large order from Newegg (**). About $2700.00 worth of PC hardware. The items were packed very tightly in one large box. The lid was sticking up, but it was obvious the lid was forced down and taped shut. There was no packing material whatsoever. As a result, several of the boxes were bent and crushed. When I started unpacking the boxes, I noticed that some of the items were wet with a chemical smell. The Windows 10 media packages were very wet and one motherboard box was very wet on the top. It smelled like some type of cleaner.
Luckily, all of the parts worked, but I had to explain to the business who hired me to build the computers why the boxes were wet and damaged. I contacted NewEgg via chat on 1-24-20. The support person asked me to send pictures to email address followup@Newegg.com. I sent three photos later the same day (1-24-20). I never heard back from Neweggg and have sent two additional emails. As of 1-29-20 (afternoon), I have not received a response. This is very disappointing. I have been using Newegg as my supplier for about 20 years and have never experienced anything like this. I have always bragged about Newegg, but I will no longer support a company who will not even respond to me.

I bought a new Magellan GPS on the Newegg site. When I got around to using it, I first registered online and updated maps. When I plugged in to car, I got message no maps could be found. I tried several times with same result. I contacted New egg and they said they would not help since it was more than 30 days from purchase. I contacted magellan and have been trying several attempts at resolving problem with their tech. They have finally admitted the hardware was defective. It is 8 weeks since purchase and I am still waiting to see if magellan will replace. Although I purchased a new unit, they said if they replace it, it will be with a refurbished unit and that I will have to return the one not working at my expense. Warning to consumers that neither New Egg or their supplier stand behind their product after 30 days and that Magellan is slow to communicate or replace defective merchandise.

I have purchased from this company and there are a few major issues that customers should be aware of: The price was much more expensive than if purchased directly from the manufacturer in Canada - they refused to match the price when informed. The shipping fees: you will be responsible for payment of the shipping/custom fees unless you flag it back to them and then they would finally pick up the cost. The language: everything that was shipped to us, including the user manual, robot “voice” etc. is in Mandarin Chinese - we have to do our own arrangements and find the appropriate documents in English. I would never purchase from this vendor again given all the circumstances described above.

I placed an order for a new MSI computer on 1-4-2020. It was to be shipped on 1-6-2020 and arrive by 1-9-2020. On 1-6-2020 they created a UPS label. I checked daily and as of 1-10-2020 they have only created a shipping label and are waiting for UPS to pickup. I found later it is an "international shipping" product from a MARKETPLACE SELLER. Who knows how long it will take now. They say they have no control over a "MarketPlace seller". I requested a cancellation and refund. They say they have to contact their seller for resolution. I told them during online chat they are the ones who took my money. They say they will contact the seller and see what they say. They have my $1,600 and I have an empty paper sack. Do not order if it is from a "MarketPlace Seller."

Whenever you buy a refurbished product, there is always the risk that you will end up with a lemon. Not necessarily the fault of the reseller, just really the risk you take when buying secondhand product. I recently purchased a very affordably priced refurbished laptop through Newegg. Three months in, the laptop randomly broke. Newegg could not have handled it better. They were very responsive and, ultimately, I was able to keep my hard drive and was sent a replacement laptop within the week. Now, I'm up and running again with minimal inconvenience on my end. I am so happy that I chose to buy this laptop through Newegg! Given this does depend on the vendor at the other end of the purchase. In my case it was EPC. They rock!

I have been using Newegg.com for a couple decades., the 1st 10 years I had a regular us mail box... The last 10 years a PO Box. When I got to checkout now I am treated as a criminal, it rejected my order telling me it will not deliver to a PO Box! I don't have a mail box. I moved out into the country away. Before I could move the address around with the PO Box until NewEgg stopped complaining and let me order through, but now it will let you use your PO Box for billing, but not shipping??!! People who write the websites and make you jump through these hoops are out of their minds... What do they care if my mail goes to a PO Box? Isn't it safer for both the carrier and the owner? You would think businesses would not treat us like criminals. At least in my little corner on Earth the people in our Post office try to catch the packages and keep them for us anyways to help us.
I started the checkout at around 10 p.m. just finished at 1 a.m. and had to keep re-entering everything until it gave me a clean shipping order without complaining about the Shipping and Billing don't match (really, because I tried it refused to let me make them match!), and the seller doesn't use PO boxes, and on and on on on..... Well Newegg did for a couple decades! I know I ordered stuff several times over the past year, and it usually gave me a hard time of visa gift cards, or other stuff.... I don't particularly care for PayPal, but use it when I need to. BTW, it is a joytsick, a very expensive joystick, which is ironic, because ordering it and trying to give Newegg the shipping address (same shipping address I have had for a decade) had no joy. I gave two stars because a long time ago, NewEgg treated me good.

My marketplace account was open for less than a month and was suspended for an unknown reason while we never got clarification as to what the reason was. Originally we were told that our account had some fraud suspicion and then we ended up getting an e-mail from the marketplace support that our account fell below required metrics which was not true. All orders were shipped on time with no complaints recorded whatsoever.
During the time the account was open, we fulfilled orders through Newegg/Newegg Business with the NET PAYMENT HOLD amount of $9145.10 ($1,479.65 newegg & $7,665.45 NeweggBusiness). The payments were put on hold as of 9/15/2019. According to your terms and conditions newegg may place payments on hold for 90 days. Three months have passed and the payments have not been released yet. We would like an immediate response and when my payment will be released? or I will take legal action to recover my funds.

Took a leap of faith and ordered all parts for a super-fast computer for business purposes. Delivery process very belabored - separate shipments for all parts, separate invoices (not corporate-friendly), wrong sales taxes. Icing on the cake - all parts received except for a $39 fan (necessary b/c of an i9 K) that I just learned is shipping from CHINA. I am in Canada. No idea when it will arrive. But of course Newegg has billed everything. But I essentially have no computer. Have tried to get them to let me replace the part in question with something they have in stock (hell, I'll even pay a bit more), but they staunchly refuse. No negotiations, no discussions. You pay, we ship whenever, you receive the part and shut up. I will make sure everyone I know who likes to put together their own machines knows about this abysmal customer service. For $39. How cheap can a company be????

Customer service is terrible. They do not stand behind their products, offer any type of warranty, and if they do, be careful what you say because if you word something in a way that they can grab onto it and use it to manipulate the entire conversation to avoid having to fix the item or replace it, they will. My computer stopped charging. I unplugged it, turned it off, and tried to plug it back in. When I went to plug it back in, the plug would not even fit properly. It felt as if something inside had melted or warped. It smelled electrical. After that, I stopped messing with it. Contacted Newegg, and because I told them I tried to plug it back in, they refused to honor any type of return or warranty and said that I must have broken it.
The laptop was less than a year old oh, and they refused to honor any type of warranty or return because I simply tried to plug it back in, as any other normal person would try to do in that situation. I didn't try to take it apart or fix it myself, I simply plugged it in. They adamantly refused to do anything to help me because of that. TLDR: they sold me a faulty laptop, and then told me basically "too bad so sad" because I told them I tried to plug it in.

Based on IT suggestions and some reviews, I simultaneously purchased two Lenovo laptops for my teen kids to use in school. Despite experiencing technical difficulties with its website, Newegg customer service would not quit working to get my order through and was successful. 13 months later, the batteries which were good for circa 5 hours between charges, started showing signs of lag. At just 14 months, 35-45 minutes is all that both batteries are good for when not plugged in and this presents and in class problem for my kids. So, customer service contacted and, after about an hour, they found the purchase and, noticing that they were fulfilled by Newegg through a third party just over a year ago, put a rush order on trying to find me a solution. After one week, the email read that the laptops are out of warranty and they suggested I contact Lenovo...WHAT?!
First, I never mentioned warranty as my original question was to find out what replacement batteries could be offered to me, even at my cost, given that the batteries are internal and not just exposed for swapping. Second, the fact that the "experts" find nothing wrong with two Lenovo Ideapad 330S purchased simultaneously through their website both experience serious battery failures less than 14 months on from purchase and don't think that their communications with computer providers are probably taken with more serious interest than a single middle class father calling the manufacturer direct is sad.
I can only conclude one of two things; either I got the one Newegg customer service representative that just doesn't care and is lazy OR said customer service person perfectly represents Newegg as a company who works hard to get your business to the tune of $1800 in one hard earned purchase but doesn't attempt to find a resolution to a customer's problems even WHEN THE CUSTOMER DOESN'T ASK ABOUT WARRANTY. I don't have an issue with amending this review at a later date as this is only the third negative review I've ever written in over a decade, but only if Newegg sees the value in the need to work a portion as hard to resolve issues as they work to grab two full paychecks from a working man trying to make sure his kids don't fall behind in school. For now, be weary of Newegg...

In the past I had very good experiences with this company but wow things have changed. Ordered over $1000 in parts to completely rebuild my old desktop. Added two day shipping to the order as I needed the parts timely. My order confirmation confirmed 2 day shipping on everything. The order was split into 6 shipments. The CA warehouse send everything 2 day like requested. The NJ and IN warehouses sent their boxes by ground. Not good! I immediately contacted customer support to let them know and was told I did not have anything to complain about. When I tried to argue, the chat was disconnected. Sure enough the boxes from CA arrived right on time. The boxes from NJ and IN are sitting in a UPS depot.
Contacted Newegg again and was told that I should not contact them until all packages have arrived. Before I could even type one sentence to responded, I was disconnected. Unbelievable!!! I paid additional money for two day delivery, it's all in black and white on the order confirmation, and they refuse to accept any responsibility or even say sorry for their screw up. Won't even offer to refund the extra I paid for shipping. It seems the answer for everyone running the customer service chat is to simply disconnect you if you have a problem. I have supported this company in the past but no more! This is some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I will take my money elsewhere in the future. If they did it to me, they will do it to you as well so think twice before giving them your hard earned money.

I am new to Newegg. My grandson is building his first computer with help from a relative. This relative gave me Newegg and suggested parts to buy for my grandson for Christmas. I ordered a motherboard and processor on the same order. They sent the motherboard and then I received an email stating the processor was cancelled. I called customer service. They did not know why the processor was cancelled and said I would get a call back.
2 day later no call. I called again. They told me the order was cancelled and the account was frozen. No explanation. They verified my information and said they would request it be unfrozen and I would get an email. Still no response 2 days later. I called yet again. I spoke to a supervisor. They tell me the account was locked. No explanation as to why but that it was denied to be unlocked x2 by the technical team. She said there was nobody else that I can talk to for a reason and that they have a right to deny service. I have never been treated like this in my life. Why would you cancel 1/2 of an order and lock the account but send the other 1/2. Also why not give an explanation? Horrible Horrible business practice. I am so frustrated! I just wanted my grandson to have gifts to open on christmas instead of just giving cash. Horrible experience! Frustrated Grandmother.

Their representative told me to wait one moment. When they got back on the line they told me they would be sending me a FREE CPU fan worth $30-$35 value! My mind was blown and turned me into a lifelong buyer and advocate of their company. They knew I was a first time PC builder and someone, somewhere felt for my misunderstanding of PC components as a new PC enthusiast and ended up sending a great cooler that has lasted me 2 years. Please watch when you buy from Newegg if you don't know nothing about computers and parts. They will charge you a 15% restocking fee even when you are paying shipping back to them. I told them Best Buy doesn't charge restocking fee, or when I return a t-shirt or some pants they don't charge me restocking fee. So for me that's unfair for us the buyers.

I have this exact model headset at my office. I had bought it brand new from Plantronic. It came with 2 headbands and 4 ear molds in the Plantronic fitkit. This product didn't have any headbands and only 2 ear molds. I believe customers like myself figure the components would come with the headset because it didn't say otherwise. The customer service rep said via email "According to our information as the order was placed for a refurbished unit the package only includes following accessories: Ear Hook/Ear Tip Kit, AC Adapter, USB cable."
But The only thing it said in the description of the product was "a variety of comfortable wearing styles". I contacted Newegg customer service and they told me to contact Isave. I contacted Isave customer service to get the headband I needed. I told them I don't want all the missing components to make things right. I simply wanted the headband that works for me for them to make me a satisfied customer. I felt justified for asking for this because of their vague description listed on the Newegg site. They said they couldn't do anything about it because it didn't come with the original package. Which doesn't make sense because I own the original package that comes with the headset. I'm pretty sure they were referring to the fact that it didn't come with the original package of the refurbished set. I thought I was reasonable enough considering I was asking for the entire Plantronic Fitkit.
I felt cheated by Newegg and Isave because the policy Newegg adheres to is the following "This means the product was tested and repaired as required to meet the standards of the refurbisher, which may or may not be the original manufacturer. Any exceptions to the condition of the item outside the manufacturer’s information should be provided in the listing, up to and including warranty details." This exception was not listed was not provided in the listing. Newegg simply passed the buck and didn't take responsibility for a 3rd party vendor selling a product that wasn't what they advertised on their site.

First of all I have ordered in the past with little to no issues. OK this time ordered a sound bar on Black Friday. Got all emails associated with order and shipping and so on. Received tracking info. Waited two weeks and says label created. Still not shipped. Had a chat with customer service and was told they are running behind because of the amount of orders on Black Friday. Waited another week and called in. Tracking still says label created. Was told UPS lost the package. "OK that's fine. Give me a refund for my items." "Sure. We can do that yup after UPS starts an investigation into where your package is." UPS says they never picked it up and was never turned over to them.
Anyways I never talked to such a bland customer service. It seemed like I was bothering them to get answers. The person on the phone was bland and rude. I think I will order my computer parts and electronics somewhere else from now on. I did finally get my refund from them a day before Christmas. I ordered the item from somewhere else and received it in two days. I do not normally write reviews like this but I did have this experience with another retailer on the exact same time frame and there response was, "We are sorry for the inconvenience. Would you like a refund or another shipped with expedited shipping at no charge" and the item arrived the next day. Newegg take a lesson on customer service!!! It's not the customers responsibility to track down items misplaced or lost. It is yours and the carriers'...

I've ordered a computer on Newegg which was sold by Advanced Computer in Canada. The pricing was a bit low, which I suspect to be a pricing error. The seller cancelled my order without any message or told Reason. I asked the Newegg support and they told me that they offer no protection or guarantee on the pricing of an item. At the time of order, they had 3 in stock according to their website. 1) They cancelled my order. 2) Instead of telling me within 1 business day, like it says on their website, they sat on it for a week before telling me (apparently oblivious what season it is). 3) I asked them if they could reorder the item. Instead of giving me a clear answer on that, they referred me to one of their marketplace sellers who was selling the same/identical item at a much higher price and told me they don't price match. Kinda makes you wonder if it was in stock but just were so slow to process that it was out of stock by the time they actually got around to it...

I can not believe this happened, but it surely did. The phone was unusable and after weeks of holding my money they want ME to pay postage and mail it to them with no label. Verizon Associates warned me about much of this happening. They are rude, and did this deliberately. Consumer Affairs please examine the "missing label scheme." They just CAN'T mail one and they keep mailing blank PDF files that supposedly contain return labels. A bunch of hacks selling junk equipment that you get stuck with. Reporting this charge to my bank.

We purchased 86 inch tv which comes with white glove service which is delivery and setup. Driver said no white glove. We refused to sign and told him to take TV. He left TV. It was damaged when we turned it on. Screen has spiderweb cracks. They will not authorize return. We have disputed charges via credit card company. We ordered on Nov 10. Delivered on Nov 26th. We notified them Nov 26. Today is Dec 13, 2019 and still no resolution. We have all documentation on communications. They are terrible to work with and play games asking fir photos of box which we have provided on numerous occasions. Do NOT purchase from NewEgg.

Newegg had a great price on an LG TV for Black Friday. Upon placing the order the site indicated a delivery date of 12/4 which was great. On 12/3 I noticed it hadn’t shipped yet so contacted them to verify. I was told that 12/4 was when it would ship, not deliver. This didn’t make sense but while inconvenient, I let it go. However, as of 12/12/19, the product is still sitting on a trailer in NJ (Amtrucking) and not even on the way to the Maryland terminal. I have spoken with Newegg militiamen Tinesx as well as the shipping company and just get the runaround.
Was told it “had to deliver by 12/13 per their contract with their supplier” but now that it’s not going to be here they are stating that is only an estimated date, not guaranteed (despite previous statements in writing to the contrary). I have zero faith that I will receive a TV tomorrow at this point. It is 9pm on Thursday and they have to contact you a day in advance to confirm delivery since it needs to be signed for. I had used Newegg years ago and they were great and products arrived on time. But this order has been full of poor information, zero effort or interest in actually looking into the order and just saying anything to make you go away.
I will never again trust this company to buy something from. A reputable company would have stood by their commitment and promise and supplied the TV even if they had to go to another vendor to make it happen. There is zero excuse for this. The product was in stock and available the day I purchased. It has sat there for 2 weeks now in NJ only a three hour drive away. Literally zero excuse at this point. Complete runaround. Makes me question if the TV is even going to be legit or working by the time it arrives if it ever even arrives. Extremely frustrated and disappointed in their service. Unacceptable. And of course now that the deals are over, I feel stuck to pay either thousands more or wait endlessly. Completely Unethical.

I placed an order with Newegg and after I received my order I later received an invoice from Fedex for duties and fees. When I placed the order I knew I had to pay for shipping, which was shown on the Newegg invoice, but nowhere did it state I had to pay for duties and fees! I didn't even know the shipment was coming international. I would have never placed the order since the duties and fees were expensive.

I purchased the PS4 Pro with the advertised two free games (Kingdom of Hearts 3 and Call of Duty Black Ops 4) well within the time limit for f the promotion. Nowhere during the purchase did it say they were out of the games when I purchased the item. Customer service said they ran out of the games and item was not returnable. If they don’t have the items then take the offer offline. It’s false advertisement or at least misleading.

Updated on 12/27/2019: The review process does not provide an update feature for reviews so this will have to suffice. As an update to my review regarding the Total failure by Newegg and their customer service I feel this also must be reported. The CSR Louis, replying to the review threads Threatened me in that I will need to stop the charge back or Newegg will ban my account and the credit they were to give me for shipping the garbage back to to Newegg.
After exchanging replies via the private chat I went to Newegg chat and discussed what the CSR Louis was threatening me about. The Newegg CSR stated Louis should not have done this (I emailed the reply by Louis to Newegg) and stated what Louis did was wrong but also true (in those exact words). The Newegg CSR also stated this punitive customer action is not revealed on the Newegg site in any capacity. Newegg stated they would send the refund to my account and I could do nothing about it as the refund would automatically stop the charge back and prevent the punitive action from going on record against Newegg.
I called my CC company and indeed they said I could do nothing but complain to the BBB, though that too will do nothing it seems. These companies like Newegg making threats and also blowing off these bad transactions needs to stop. I have currently sent all chat transcripts and the email messages from Louis via certified email to the corporate side and will wait to see what happens there. As of Now Newegg is a non use store. Emails and chat transcripts are available to ConsumerAffairs at any time.
Original Review: Newegg charged my Debit card and then had a third party ship a used/display item to me. The Item was a motherboard that came dusty and had a greasy fingerprint on the PCH surface, the reason I could see the fingerprint was the PCH cover was missing along with the screws. I attempted to solve the problem by contacting Newegg and asking them to overnight me a PCH cover and then Newegg and the seller could finish whatever else between them, they refused and forced me to contact the seller and would not address the situation themselves.
So I contact the seller and Newegg contacts the seller, the seller sends a UPS label that will cover shipping only and not packaging. Newegg asks for photos, I send them, newegg contacts the seller again and the seller refuses to supply return packaging even though they sent a used/display item that was dusty and missing parts. Newegg is refusing to deal with this seller so I was obligated to perform a chargeback against newegg and start an investigation on newegg and the seller. I ordered the same product from Bestbuy and after it arrived I took a photo side by side and sent it to Newegg to show them the difference in packaging and the product quality, one can easily tell which board and packaging are the bad ones.
Newegg gives a lot of lip service but does not stand behind their business or once good reputation. They have a guarantee that has a list of requirements that ALL must be met or a person is SOL. That will not happen to me. I have documentation, pictures and the email transcripts for live chat that clearly show Newegg's indifference in protecting itself and its partner Nothingbutsavings first and not the customer. To any Newegg lurker that posts replies to feign a caring Newegg and please contact them, don't bother, I already did three times, I was nice, I gave realistic options, you did not want to honor your commitment to the customer.

I received a cell phone but after approximately 6 months of ownership Newegg contacted me asking to return it for a refund as it did not meet certain criteria to be sold in Canada. When I reached out to them about the process of returning the package they informed me I was shipped a label from UPS. I explained I had not received it and checked my deleted e-mails and spam and there was nothing. The agent said they would research and contact me back. 2 days later I received an e-mail saying to check the spam folder. I double checked just to make sure and nothing. I reached out to customer service again and went through it all again. Again they said it was sent and to check the spam folder.
At the end of the interaction things really went poorly. I asked if I could get the return address in case there were further problems and provided the return address on their website. The agent said that it was not the correct address provided me with half a California address, half an Alberta address and the address on their own website had an Ontario address. When I flagged it the agent went so far as telling me the US uses postal codes too and sorry that it was confusing for me... I managed to look up the tracking number on the UPS website with the tracking number and it only lists the city it was going to and it was Ontario of course. I came in expecting a quick fix to a relatively simple issue and by the end of it was angry and fairly certain I will not be purchasing anything from them ever again.

On Monday at 12, I completed a purchase for waterproof paper because it was slightly better priced than other companies I have used. I figured, I would give them a try. I placed my order at 12 pm on Monday and the shipping I chose was 3 day business shipping. We needed the paper by Friday night and with the 3 days, I expected it to come Thursday, Friday at the latest.
When it still hadn't come by Friday morning, I decided to go track it. The tracking was at "Label created". I ordered it on Monday, so was confused as to why it hadn't even shipped yet. I tried to look up a number on the website and there is none (no email either). You can do a live chat or request a phone call. I chose request call and got an automated call saying it would be between 9-9:15. At 9:15 I received another automated call saying it would be a longer wait time. When they did call, I was not available to take it, but had a co-worker looped in to talk with them. They basically told her that it was an estimated ship time, not actual and that was it. There was nothing we could do.
We finally got our shipment today (over a week after we ordered it). Again, there is no way to really deal with the company directly, so I am here to warn everyone else. I do not recommend them based on the way they have handled this and not being available to their customer when they are needed. I will never use them again and suggest you do the same. It is worth paying a little more when you work with a company you can rely on.

I am writing this after experiencing first-hand truly unsatisfactory treatment by Newegg after I ordered a brand new HP Envy laptop and they mailed me a used Demo laptop that belonged to a Sam's Club in Texas. After weeks of back and forth, thinking that Newegg was actually concerned about me and was trying to help me, I realized they were just blowing me off and making me do more and more things to help them "help" me. End result: I still have possession of a used laptop that was mistakenly shipped to me. They refused to accept this laptop even though I provided all the info they asked for - pictures of the box, the screen, the serial no., etc. I am without the $900 new Envy laptop that I purchased from Newegg in good faith. WoW! DO NOT BUY FROM NEWEGG/SPREAD THE WORD! I am filing a complaint to my state's AG for Consumer Affairs. Ripped off in Maryland.

My girlfriend and I bought all the parts to make a budget gaming PC on Black Friday. During this time AMD had a promotion on where if you bought a cpu or graphics card you would get an Xbox game pass and Either 1 or both of Borderlands 3 or Ghost Recon. The promotion was posted front page of Newegg and also showed up in the product/gift description of the Ryzen 2600 and Sapphire Rx590 Pulse we bought. It is now a week later and the Xbox passes have arrived, but the game code for either of the games has not. After contacting Newegg support TWICE now, they play dumb and act like I'm making it up, or it's already been given to me. Both AMD and Sapphire have told me to get the game code from the retailer. Doing a chargeback on our credit card for the $80 the game bundle is worth and using either Amazon or Canada Computers for future computer purchases.

On December 5th I was researching ASUS monitors to upgrade from my current one. I was pulled into their website based on an advertised range of $40-250 price range on what I was looking for. I purchased the monitor for $42 dollars and two days later received email that it was being cancelled due to a price error. Seems more like a calculated risk due to the shopping season and false advertising would bring in additional customers to their website. They were nice enough to give a 5 dollar gift card that I have 90 days to use at their website.

Ordered a 3 terabyte hard drive from NewEgg (third party vendor goHardDrive). Received a hard drive with a 3 terabyte label on it. The drive was an 800 gigabyte drive. _With an incorrect label on it._ Does NewEgg think its customers are stupid? I can't remember being so flagrantly and obviously cheated in years. Will never order from them again.

I have always been purchasing computers and laptops through Amazon. Which was and still a great experience. I found a good deal on Newegg and liked that international shipping is 1-3 business days. That's what you see when you choose the shipping method (fake don't fall for that). I made the order for a laptop. Waited 3 to 4 days for it to get shipped. Then when it reached my country on UPS tracking. Showed that there are issues. So called UPS and they told me that newegg asked them to return the item back. So I was like fine. But I need to contact newegg to issue me full refund.
I was surprised that they told me that I need to wait until the package is back to newegg. for them to issue the refund. I never got the item. It wasn't a return I made. They intercepted the shipment and asked ups to return it back to them for a reason I don't know about yet. Anyways after 2 weeks of trying to get my refund. I failed as they were refusing to issue refund. Lucky me I made the payment through PAYPAL. I started a dispute for a full refund. And 2 days later paypal refunded me full amount I paid. Conclusion: Don't buy from Newegg especially if you arent in the USA. International service is really bad. Just stick to other well known online stores.

Ordered an item 11-2-2019, paid for 3 day shipping to be delivered 12-06-2019 as it was after 3pm when I placed the order, they held order for 2 days before shipping, now it won't get here for 7 days from date order was placed. Called in and they did not care at all, acted like it was no big deal. Offered to refund my 1.99 shipping since I am a premier customer and that was all. Complete waste. No wonder I have been shopping Amazon!

I ordered a computer from Newegg. There were issues with my shipping address, that's fine. When I put in a new card and then Newegg splits my charge without verifying this with me. Overdrafted my account, and then they refused to simply move the charge to my new card.

I purchased a digital download game as a gift. The recipient afterward told me it was for a different platform. I requested an exchange for the version I needed, or failing that, store credit from Newegg. But I was told nope sorry, and was offered a $5 gift card for my trouble. I understand their policy is no refund or returns, but I was simply looking for an exchange for a compatible version, or at the least a store credit for the amount paid. As it stands, I just threw away $50 on a game neither I nor the gift recipient can use.

Do not waste your money on faster delivery, they never deliver any faster, and there is no refund. I paid extra $20 to have it shipped 1 day delivery instead of the normal 3-5, and it never even left their warehouse in the first 2 business days and then took 3 days to get here. So as I said don't pay for faster shipping waste of money.

This company really is a joke. I placed an order and they took the liberty to cancel this order for me and take my money anyway. Do not do business here with these guys. You will get ripped off. It took almost 2 weeks to get my money back and they would not allow me to order another. Just be careful where you shop from. I definitely wouldn't recommend Newegg to my worst enemy.

I bought a Samsung gaming monitor from New Egg that I did not have three weeks and did not use until the third week and then realized there was a crack in the corner of the screen that was not very big but getting larger in which new egg said I needed to contact Samsung who would not honor the warranty and said this was on new egg and that it was warehouse or shipping damage and would not be covered and to take it up with New Egg who would not honor it either. So needless to say neither one will ever get my money again..

I purchased a laptop from Newegg shortly after I got back from deployment. I Searched for about a month for one that had all the specifications I wanted and most importantly a dedicated graphics card so I could upgrade later down the road. It's now later down the road and my card can't play newer videos games at the performance I would like. So I contacted my manufacturer (Lenovo) to order an upgraded graphics card for my laptop. Specifically a GTX 1080 which costs $500.
The Lenovo representative I talked to informed me that my laptop does not have dedicated graphics. My laptop has integrated graphics which means the graphics card is soldered to the motherboard and can't be upgraded. So instead of just purchasing a graphics card to upgrade my laptop I now need to buy a whole new laptop. Prices of laptops have jumped a lot since my last purchase and for one with the GTX 1080 the price range is from $1600-$10,000 (Those laptop prices are from Newegg's site). I double checked the advertisement for my laptop to make sure I didn't make a mistake and it definitely was advertised as having a dedicated graphics card.
I contacted Newegg customer support and explained to the guy the situation and asked if they had a policy for this situation and that I would like to be able to select a laptop from their site to purchase at the price that just the graphics card would have cost me to upgrade my laptop ($500). He said he would find out and put me on hold while he talked to a supervisor. When he came back he asked me to hold one more time because he wanted to get a second opinion. When he came back the second time he told me that all they would allow him to do is give me a $25 gift card to purchase an item sold and shipped by Newegg.
