    I use to love buying from Newegg and anymore. It's been kind of a joke. Prices tend to be higher than others even though they price match. So if you aren't paying attention to the item cost you could be overpaying. The shipping is absolutely terrible. My item says "delivered" but isn't here and I sent an email and still haven't heard back.

    Stay far away from NewEgg. I have done business with them for 10+ years and will never do business with them again. Stay away from any ABS computer on here as the customer support is atrocious. I spent $2000 on a gaming PC from them and now the Intel 13th Gen i7 processor is failing due to Intel not knowing how to properly manufacture a CPU. ABS support said I had to pay shipping both ways to get a replacement and would take several weeks up to 3 months. ABS is owned by NewEgg and has shady business practices just like NewEgg. Never doing business with NewEgg or their crap ABS prebuilt computers.

    I am glad this is my first desktop PC because of the quality of it. This PC has done everything I've needed it to and runs any game I can think of off the top of my head. They really knocked it out of the park with this PC and I'd say it's a great desktop to get you started if you haven't used a desktop before. So if anyone is reading this I would highly recommend this if you're willing to spend the money.

    Would rate them ZERO stars if I could but unfortunately that's not an option. I ordered PC parts and they didn't send me 2 of my items totaling $500, I submitted a claim and they denied it because "the warehouse said they completed the order". So now I'm out $500, they won't send me the items, or refund me....based on the other reviews, it seems like this is a recurring issue. I will be contacting anyone and everyone I know. I have a large internet following and will be posting videos letting everyone know not to purchase from this company. And I will be pursuing legal action and contacting the BBB. Hope they're ready!!!

    Watch what you buy from Newegg, they’ll send you used stuff at new price then when you ask for a replacement it take twice as long to get it so Newegg can be a scam sometimes so be careful. I bought a New CPU and they sent me a used CPU, what a scam!

    So I am writing this review because I came here contemplating purchasing from NewEgg and a lot of what I read really discouraged me from buying from this company but my recent purchase that I had to return went so smoothly and the return process was so easy that I feel a lot of the negative reviews are those of people who just may be having a bad day.     Everything that I've ordered from Newegg after the end of January is delayed by weeks. When I try to file a cancellation due to missing or delayed items they submit the ticket and the item finally moves through the system. Then they cancel or close the ticket without my confirmation. Then I wait about another week for it to send more delay messages. When I try to file another cancellation it says the item cannot be returned. This is a lie. The item can be returned or refunded back to the original payment method but they would rather you wait. I'm still waiting on a CPU I ordered at the beginning of March and it's the 25th. If it does arrive I'm not even going to bother opening the package. I'll just return it. After this all my other shopping will either be done in person or through Amazon. Newegg is the FedEx of selling sites.

    I purchased all the parts you need to build a new computer at Newegg, including a copy of Windows 11. Shipping was timely and the parts themselves arrived without issue, but the copy of Windows 11 I bought did not come with a product key sticker. There is supposed to be a silver sticker on the envelope with the disk that you scratch for the product key, but my envelope did not come with one. I contacted Newegg about this, and finally after a week worth of follow-ups they told me they would not be willing to provide a new product key, as the “consumer is responsible for not damaging the product key attached to the envelope”. I tried explaining that I never even received a sticker to “damage”, but Newegg stated that based on the photo of the envelope I sent them they couldn’t confirm it wasn’t fraud.

    It seems ridiculous to me that I should somehow be able to prove a negative through a photo demonstrating the absence of a product, but they insisted this is the case. Newegg was also unwilling to reach out to Microsoft to identify the specific product key that I paid for using my purchase information, I tried reaching out to Microsoft directly myself, but they told me that 3rd party purchases need to be handled by the 3rd party. Newegg eventually offered half the amount as store credit, but I declined since I don’t intend to shop at Newegg again.

    To Potential Consumers: I strongly recommend buying your parts elsewhere, while things might work out fine for you, Newegg has demonstrated that they will take no accountability for their own shipping issues when they do occur. Given the high value of items one typically orders from such a store, buying from them is not worth this risk.

    To Newegg: While this may fall on deaf ears, I feel compelled to tell you that this policy is incredibly short sighted. On this order alone, I spent thousands of dollars with your company (which was, until now, my default choice for computer parts). The next time I need to spend hundreds of dollars (if not more) on computer parts, you can guarantee that Newegg will not be seeing any of that revenue, I hope that’s worth the $128 you fleeced me for because you rather assume that I’m committing fraud on a single item in a $2,000 purchase than give me the benefit of the doubt, or, better yet, reach out to Microsoft for the exact product key that I paid for (which also would’ve ensured that fraud was not being committed).

    I order a cpu for my pc, after it was installed it caused damage to my pc. This was verified be a reputable computer repair facility. My bill is going to be in the thousands. All I wanted was to be reimbursed for the faulty cpu but I was told it's not their problem. After speaking with management all they could offer was "store credit". I even pitched the idea of paying part of the bill to the shop I had my pc at. What a terrible way to treat a potential lifetime customer.

    I tried to buy a GPU from them that was cheap and they ended up voiding the buy 3 days later without even sending the email. I was also traveling at the time and I couldn't order one cheap from Amazon, had to go for a one I didn't really want just because it arrived on time. Also the price for the GPU I had bought from Newegg was now 200 dolars more in their site.

    Product purchased from Newegg was broken upon arrival. Newegg said they cannot do anything to assist. They directed me to a third party vendor who hasn't responded to any calls or emails. I'm not sure the "third party" even exists. I question the authenticity of the product. Despite the validity of the product, Newegg did nothing post sale to resolve the situation. With many electronics retailers, online and elsewhere, I learned the hard way.

    I ordered a gaming desktop for my son for Christmas. When it arrived it had no wifi card. Everything about the desktop seemed sketchy. We returned it the very next day and asked for a refund. The return was received by Newegg on January 4th. Today is January 29th and they have yet to refund me. At first they said there was an issue because I returned it without a wifi card, which is the entire reason I returned it! They finally told me that it passed inspection and that the refund would take 1-2 business days to post. That was on January 23rd. It's now been 4 business days and still no refund. At this point I think I was scammed. Don't buy from this company.

    I placed an order for a gaming PC on 12/31 and I received an initial confirmation that the order was placed and should be shipped by 1/4. I never received any further updates or communication from them. I checked my email on 1/4 hoping to see tracking information and instead I see an email stating that I need to contact them before 4:30PM PT to verify the order or it will be canceled. I made 3 different calls to them and an email before that time to assure the order was verified and not canceled. The first call was to make sure it was not canceled and they stated because the company the laptop was coming from did not process the order and they would reach out to them and callback.

    I did my own due diligence and called the company “Electronic Express” and they stated they have no record of the order and to reach out to Newegg. I then call back Newegg (call #2) and tell them that. They state they’ll put an “urgent” message out to them and call them to get it taken care of and reach back out to me. I also made sure to insist to do the over the phone verification in case. A few hours go by and I hear nothing and it’s getting closer to 4:30. I call back again, (call #3) and I speak to another rep who says they still have not heard back from Electronic Express and to which I tell him they don’t even have record of the order and the issue seems to lie with Newegg, not electronic express. He still sends me an email with a hyperlink to message Electronic Express who answered immediately by the way and they state again that they have not received anything from Newegg.

    The next day I hear nothing from them and I call back and my order was canceled because according to Josh in customer service, the system blocked my account because THEIR verification process did not work at no fault of my own. They stated they’ll put another request in to reinstate my account and the laptop price went up but they’ll honor the price. Why make it so difficult to purchase a computer??? I paid and authorized the transaction in the first place so what more verification would you need?! The rep did not even attempt to try and put me on hold to see if there was anything further they could do to get the order back going, just told me it was canceled and I would need to repurchase. Horrible customer service, horrible process and apparently a horrible company. I’ll pay more at Micro Center to make sure I get it and reliable customer service but will never purchase from them again.

    Updated on 01/19/2024 I see all over this site that any complaints "are in progress" - any get resolved? I already posted my experience (below), but there is no way to follow up. Newegg promised to refund the money. Got my visa statement. NOTHING. It was NOT REFUNDED and they kept the hard drives.

    Original Review: I ordered 2 x 20TB Seagate IronWolf Pro drives. They would not ship. I assume they were on backorder, but Newegg would not confirm. I repeatedly tried to cancel the order (online and over the phone) and thought I'd order 2 x 20TB Seagate Exos X20 drives instead, so I could get them right away. The exos drives were shipped immediately. I continued to try and cancel the first order (on the phone and online) Newegg said they could not cancel, even though the drives would not ship for about a month. My return RMA was about to expire and I still had not received the drives. Called newegg again and the newegg rep on the phone reissued a new return RMA and told me not even to bother opening the drives/package when they came. Just tape on the RMA and ship back and they will refund immediately. I did this. Now they contact me and tell me the serial numbers I sent back do not match. Are kidding me!

    I never even opened the package. They also told me the shipping package was not the original. Well that's what newegg sent me (and I never opened it!!!). Do you think I would go to the effort to buy 2 other 20TB drive, repackage them, and send them to newegg? That's insane. I asked for them to send me the original serial numbers they claim to have sent me. I was told they can't do that. WHAT! The current rep (Adriane) told me the drives were sent from Canada, then he changed his story and said they were sent from the US. Then he tells me I received an email today that the drive were already returned - I never received an email saying this. However, I did receive an email today restating the serial number did not match. I also called them 4 days ago asking about my return status and they said they emailed me, but never received a response from me.

    I told them I responded to the email from them (Angel A) 2 times on the same day I received her email about 19 days ago. Then they looked it up and stopped claiming I never responded, but they also did not confirm the receipt of my emails (as if implying "the customer is always wrong"). On top of all that, they now claim they sent the drives back to me, but I never got them. That's $1000 down the drain and they are doing nothing for me. Worst customer service ever!

    I don't normally post anything much less a complaint, but I felt the need to share my experience trying to buy a computer through Newegg. I gave Newegg a lot (A LOT) of money on November 24th for a PRE-BUILT PC. It took them and UPS 3 weeks to pull an, again, PRE-BUILT PC off a shelf and deliver it to me. Only I never got it because they refused after I requested to leave it without a signature. I was never contacted to explain how to get it and per Newegg's policy it is automatically returned to them. Whatever I guess, except they would not return my money to me until they received the returned pc. No freaking way. They didn't charge me upon my receiving the PC. I never even looked at the box. Maybe there never was one. It could have been lost on the way back. Seriously, this felt like a scam.

    I got my money back on December 22nd after complaining and sending a negative review. Leaving me no time to replace with something else before Christmas. Newegg never attempted to make anything right nor try to make me a happy customer. I wanted the PC, they could have said sorry and thrown in a monitor or mouse or just offered to overnight the thing. Not only that, they have not published my review of my experience with them on their website which I uploaded on December 22nd. The only positive I experienced was it was easy to get a hold of customer service on the phone, but they just were not very helpful. STAY AWAY FROM Newegg.

    I placed a order for pc components and they charged me then canceled my order the next day saying it was out of stock. I call their customer service and explained I could wait for it to come back in stock. I just wanted the deal that I ordered. They told me no that they couldn't do that. The items were in stock when I ordered it and they charged me, but told me tough luck. This will be the last time I do business with Newegg. Been buying from them for over 17 years. I deleted my account and will deal with Amazon and Micro center from now on! VERY, VERY poor customer service!

    I ordered a anime figurine for boyfriend for Christmas on December 4. They didn’t give me a tracking number for the package then I finally received a tracking number saying my package is in New York. The next I get notification from shop saying my package was delivered but in New York. I called customer service. They told me it probably just an error because it still saying delivery next day on their end. The next come I check shop and went on the delivery company website. It said delivery.

    I called again. This guys this trying figure out what happened and then informed me with a complete different tracking number. He told he will have transferred this issue to a different department. Give it about 72 hour for a call back. I went to work. I received email. Show a picture with my package in the front of my door step with date for Sunday 8am which was the original date. It said it was delivered in New York at which was originally date that shop notified me. I called the company 'cause I’m confused about whole issue and my package is not at my door and why will you just leave a big box on the step without signature? The representative that I talk to (Britney) told me that my package will be redelivered in 3-5 business days.

    Today I get emailed. Tell that I will not be getting a redelivering or my product replace. I spend 365 and 70 on express shipping. I call customer service and this started laughing on phone. Tell that not their problem. I ask for supervisor. She told me too that not their problem, that my package was stolen and in her neighborhood large packages is not signed for. I called my bank to fraud claim and was told since I use Affirm I could get my money back. I called Affirm. They tell me I can get my money back if the company is willing to so I contacted the company again. Called again just to be humiliated and ridicule over the phone.

    Here go where I really say it a scam. My next door neighbor I tell her about what happened and she informed me that the driver who delivered my package took a picture of the box then put it back in his car. They are use shipping company from Canada and see you with different tracking numbers that they can steal your package.

    Updated on 01/02/2024: The 708$ item was sent back on the 26. They got it. Newegg keeps backing up the refund for the processor and insurance just like Newegg and Allstate did in August on a motherboard for 200$.

    Original Review: Asrock B550 EXTREME4 motherboard and their extra Insurance. The board was broken on arrival and neither Newegg or Allstate insurance will replace refund it. Basically I’m at a 200$. It’s horrible. Just wrong. 00000 stars.

    Black Friday purchase of 2 hard drives and DDR4 memory. Decent shipping time and found, upon opening a large box, that I received an I9 CPU, DDR5 memory and a motherboard. Requested a RMA and replacement because I understand "things" happen. I spent $150 and received over $500 worth of product. I sent back everything under their label and only received a partial refund. Did I mention earlier that I asked for replacement? Now here I am $40 out of pocket and no product. Maybe if they answered phone calls or followed up on emails. We have spent thousands of dollars with New Egg in the past, that is now in the past.

    Would have given 0 stars if that was an option. Bought a guitar and then received an email that “I” had requested the order be canceled. Complete lie - never canceled the order. Customer service chat could do nothing and did not care in the least about making it right or reinstating my order. Claimed it was a third party who had said I wanted to cancel it.     I purchased 6 drives on backorder and was waiting for them to ship. In the meantime, I saw that the price had dropped on them so I reached out asking if they could give me the lower price since the order hadn't shipped yet. They told me that they could refund me the difference after the order shipped but that I'd have to reach out again to confirm that. I then received a cancelation email the next morning, stating that they couldn't fill my backorder. 2 days later- the drives are available for shipping right away, but the price has raised from $269 to $299 per drive. I will never shop at Newegg again.

    I ordered $3,000 worth the components for a full computer build. They claim to have shipped the motherboard but they did not. They do not include a packing a slip. While the resolve was relatively fast overnight by email. I fully expected overnight shipping at minimum to make up for their faults. I had ordered this to build by a deadline. Two days later the motherboard is still in "processing" and now showing out of stock. They offer a refund, which is a joke because I bought the item on sale for Black Friday event and it's now back to full price meaning they're trying to make more money. Newegg is a fraudulent site when comes to any products by Newegg itself. I do not know about other sellers listing on there.

    I ordered a pair of earbuds just and Newegg had a good price. So I pulled the trigger(first time purchasing from Newegg). The shipping takes ages but that's not why im giving it 1 star. I was emailed my package was delivered to my parcel however nothing was in there. When I tried to contact the seller about the issue they basically told me to go f myself. While I understand Newegg has no control over its sellers I’d appreciate it if they at least encourage their sellers to reach a solution instead of what I got. I’ve had better experiences with Amazon than these guys. Newegg has some good prices and I had intended to get some PC parts if the price was right however after this experience I will NEVER use Newegg again and I recommend no one does.

    Newegg is a terrible company to buy from. I am currently on my 4th attempt to receive a 14th Gen Intel chipset from them. I spent over five thousand dollars to purchase parts for a computer from them and the first shipment arrived with my chipset, ssd, and ram missing from the shipment even though it said shipped. I was a little frustrated but resolved sometimes these things happen, and Newegg after review was resending the parts. Second delivery happens and I receive the ram, but the ssd and chipset were reported by the carrier to be damaged and missing merchandise.

    So I resubmit another request and the supervisor I talked to had a terrible attitude, and when I asked if someone could physically make sure my product was there and correct she had stated the cameras already verify everything was correct. So I get my shipment today and what a surprise, they send me a 13th Gen Intel chipset instead of a 14th Gen. The only recourse they offer is to either refund the money or resend the items, only this time I now have to wait foe the return to get to them before they resend the part. I am so paranoid about them lying at this point that I recorded a video to show I dropped it off intact at the UPS store so they can't claim I never sent it out or sent it out empty. Once this finally resolves I will never shop at Newegg again. The whole process is poorly managed and they might as well not even have a customer service number because they are not helpful in any way.

    First of all shipping has been extending day to day. If I would have been given an accurate ETA I would have just paid for priority. Now it is not only arriving near a holiday (which probably means it will be an additional 4 days later). I will leaving myself around this time. Second of all I thought I was jumping on a deal. It turns out I paid about what I could have got the item locally for. Shame on me for not doing the research BUT SHAME ON NEWEGG for pricing something incredibly high and faking a sale.     I purchased a CPU, motherboard, and RAM from Newegg. The prices for these items was on par with other online retailers such as Amazon and Best Buy. Building a PC is an expensive operation. I was shell-shocked (pun intended) to discover that the CPU I purchased had a no-refunds policy. This is understandable from a retailer perspective; it costs them money as they lose shipping costs and restocking fees. However, their competitors offer a much more comprehensive return policy and this leaves very few reasons to buy from Newegg. I wanted to return the CPU (and buy a more expensive option) because it would not run at the advertised speeds due to thermal throttling. This was unexpected because I have a 280mm AIO and decent case airflow.

    Being stuck with this CPU running hot and slower than expected has really soured my experience with Newegg. I did a lot of research and it's just that my combination of parts did not work out in my favor. To be unable to get a refund on a product that isn't working for you seems out of place in 2023. I do not recommend shopping with them unless their prices are lower than the competition. I wanted to shop here rather than at Amazon so help out a smaller retailer, but it seems that this was a mistake.

    I recently purchased a set of Lian Li fans from Newegg only to find that the price was inflated by $40. I guess I'd have known that this could have been possible had newegg properly displayed all results when searching for lian li fans using their app but it seems they don't fairly display all prices and products. Clearly I was wrong for trusting that the only result for this particular set of fans was the best price.

    To be clear I haven't even received these fans yet for the ultra inflated price I paid and customer service wasn't willing to price match or work out reasons why search results were only displaying highest prices. From where I'm sitting this is clearly a scam to push products without having to have competitive sells prices by deceiving the customer. $40 price gouging is completely unacceptable on something that shouldn't cost more than $100. I got dooped, and newegg lost yet another customer to their shady business practices. Stay away from scams like newegg.

    I've been a Newegg customer for several years, including purchases for my organization within a large tech company. Recently I purchased a new gaming desktop PC for my son's birthday, and it arrived unable to power on. I checked the cables, the switch, the internal cables, etc.... nothing worked. I'm a tech worker and I've built my own PCs in the past, so diagnosing problems like this is not something I'm unfamiliar with (i.e., it's not something on my end).

    I quickly submitted a replacement request which processed fine with a second machine delivered promptly. Unfortunately, the second machine decided to simply stop powering on after roughly 3 days. Again, I submitted a replacement request for a third machine, different brand this time, and it again won't power on. My son has now reverted back to his older machine, which he's been using for several years without any issues. I'm fed up with Newegg now and will never use their products again, nor will I purchase their products within my organization. There is obviously a severe lack of quality assurance somewhere and I can purchase more reliable machines elsewhere.

    I have been a Newegg customer for over 20 years or so. They used to be the number 1 place to go and get your computer parts. This isn't the case anymore. They are more like an ebay company where they allow sellers from China to sell their used and trashy products as "new" and when you have an issue like I do, they drag their feet to issue out shipping labels and refunds. I ordered a motherboard that shipped and came from China which was defective. Here we are 4 to 5 days later still waiting on a shipping label to be issued so I can send the board back.

    Every time I call to get some kind of resolution, all their customer service reps can do is e-mail the seller which I have done on my own several times. Its a complete waste of time and very frustrating to deal with. Stay away from this trash and if you do buy from them, make sure your purchase is coming from the USA and not from China otherwise you will be in the same boat as I am. I am giving them till Monday 9/25 for resolution otherwise i will be disputing the charge with my credit card company.

    I have been a customer of Newegg for more than 20 years. Newegg has been my "go-to" place for all my computer parts. I placed an order on July 5th, 2023 for some memory sticks, the ad said I would have it in 5-7 days. More than a week later, my purchase still has not shipped! It seems Newegg has started letting 3rd party sellers (scammers) sell on their website. After multiple attempts to get a intelligent answer from the 3rd party seller as to why my order has not shipped yet, I told them to cancel the order and refund my money. I also called Newegg customer service and they were of little help. Their answer - " We will contact the seller and see what the problem is." 5 days later I have still not been contacted by Newegg with an answer!

    I called my credit card and told them to stop payment on this order. After explaining to them the problem, they agreed and said I would see the money back in my account in 2-3 days. Stay away from Newegg, they are no longer a reliable business! After just checking the Better Business Bureau, I see they have an "F" rating. That's really too bad, I really liked doing business with Newegg for 20 plus years!

    I attempted to buy gift cards from Newegg in order to consolidate pre-paid visas I had received as gifts. NewEgg banned my account without explanation and was extremely difficult to deal with. I was informed by them that they no longer wished to do business with me even though I had been a customer for over 10 years. They offered no explanation for this. On top of all of this it wasn't until I filed a dispute with the BBB that my gift card purchases were refunded.This is the treatment I get for being a loyal customer and spending 10s of thousands of dollars with them previously?     I ordered a $2800 desktop that is apparently being treated like a $5 nicknack that gets bottom of the barrel ground shipping. I am 6 days into waiting for a device, that Amazon and other companies that I bought my accessories for already got me their items to me in the mail, that now is saying I will be waiting 3 more days to get my device. $2800 has passed through at least 5-6 ground transports and dispatch centers meaning over 10-12 times has my item been chucked and tossed around still not to arrive on time.     I was in the market for a Brother Laser printer and searched the internet. I found the one I wanted for a good price on NewEgg and ordered it. The ad said it was new and would be shipped from the US. After about three days or so, I decided to check on the shipping progress, only to find out that it was being sent from someplace in China. I was banking on it coming from the US as stated in the ad because we know how long things take to come from China and I needed the printer.

    So I went on the website and chatted with someone on NewEgg named Sofia who was no help at all. After getting in touch with Pay Pal and also my credit card company, I was sent a used printer packaged in a box from Walmart that had "refurbished" stamped all over it. I was then blocked from contact with the company. I have all the documentation in a file.

    When I went back on the site to see if the ad had been changed, they still had the same ad up with the same false advertising. So I have reported it to the Better Business Bureau only to find out they have a voluminous amounts of complaints against them. BEWARE if you order anything from this company. They have a carousel variety of complaints against them. This was a classic case of "bait and switch" tactics. Check with the BBB if you have any doubt of my claims and you see exactly how this company operates.

    I ordered a Ring doorbell due to a better price compared to Amazon, and after a few days on a Saturday, I got a text message that it was delivered. I was home and I kept checking and there was nothing. I contacted them a few times and they replied a day later that they are looking into it. Then they said they will see why it was never sent, and finally, they said they will try to send another one but I gave them a deadline. It never arrived and finally, they emailed and said they credited me back the refund yesterday. As of today still no refund yet. Waste of time and definitely shady! They stay in touch which is nice through emails, but ultimately you are much better off buying from a reputable company and pay a bit more. I hope I get my money back because I don’t have time for any disputes.

    Extremely shady company to stay away from. I had placed a laptop order, while I'm traveling out of state and staying in a resort for a month, recovering from injury. They cancelled my order without even sending me any notification. When I called them to ask what happened they were abusive, hateful (because of my ethnic origin - I live in the US for 30 years, but this makes them treat you as a 2nd class person), implied I was a fraud and told me right away that my "account" was blocked. I never opened any "account" with them and tried to buy laptop as using guest option, like I always do with BestBuy or ebay. The woman in Newegg customer service was nasty from the first words implying I was some kind of criminal because I ordered to a resort address and didn't think there was anything wrong with them never sending me a notification of order cancellation, while I waited for delivery wasting my precious time.

    They acted so shady as if they operate in the criminal world, and I do not trust they sell truly new hardware now, too shady company. I had bought the same laptop for the same price on ebay without any issues, using it right now and got a 2nd laptop deal from popular big box brick-and-mortar reltaler online, both delivered very fast and without a problem, to the same address where I'm staying. At least with reputable honest company and highly rated ebay seller I know what I'm dealing with upfront and can trust them. Newegg behavior would not be tolerated in the normal business world, I'm looking into involving the government to penalize them now.

    Newegg sent the order to their Market Place Curry shop and curry shop ordered it from Amazon and it came in an Amazon box. The barcode on it linked to a cheap $28 battery on Amazon that I paid $73 for. They take orders and buy a cheaper imitation from Amazon and don't even bother to repackage it. Even the delivery picture shows Amazon on the box. Don't ever order anything from them again.

    I ordered a phone from the wireless place under Newegg.com. When I got the package, it had a flyer in it that said "this product may not work on AT&T's network. I called/sent an email regarding this flyer, and they replied via email "According to our in-house testing it works". It does NOT work. This phone will not make voice calls. I took it to 2 different phone carriers, and they both said it was defective. I tried sending the phone back via their own RMA, and they cancelled it and said I was outside their return policy. He was told that the request was not guaranteed, but he would be contacted in 3-5 days with the decision. Well after checking email everyday with no response, I contacted the company on day 5. I was told that because the code was redeemed, nothing could be done about the order. What?! Redeemed?! The code could not be used on my son’s Xbox, so how could it be redeemed?!

    I’m wondering if someone at the company used the code after realizing that my son couldn’t. They never informed us of their decision but, they offered us $20 off of our next purchase from them. Seriously?! Our next order? I informed the rep. that I would never order from them again. Ever!! I should have read other reviews and then ordered from a reputable company like Amazon, Best Buy, or Target.

    I bought a 6900 xt from Newegg in late August. I returned it due to not working properly for my PC. I would say I had the GPU for a week and this GPU was brand new from the manufacturer. I inspected it to make sure nothing was damaged before I returned it. I got a call from newegg rep that "somehow" the serial number was scraped off and therefore my return was denied. I honestly believe someone at newegg did it on purpose. I will never buy anything from them again and I also had a friend with almost the same thing but he returned memory sticks. Beware for sure. Just buy from Amazon, Best Buy or local Micro Center.

    The computer arrived, but it was missing the keyboard that was supposed to come with it. When I messaged support, they were incredibly unhelpful. They basically told me that they couldn't just send me the keyboard separately, and all they were willing to do was refund $30 off my total purchase price (which was over $2,000!) I'm sorry, but if it was THEIR screw-up not shipping me the correct parts, then they should be OBLIGATED to send me the missing items. I definitely will never shop here again.

I was led to them by capital one while looking at a laptop on another website. Beware of Capital One diversions when shopping. Capital One is very misleading.     I bought a computer from this company. After opening it and setting up it up, it did not work. I called them to fix the issue and doing the troubleshooting with their support it was discovered the graphics card was not working. They gave me an option to request a refund or get a replacement. I tried getting the replacement but when that came, it was not only visible damaged but also had the same issue as the first product. I then requested a refund. They eventually refunded me the money but I recently discovered they charged my credit card without an explanation or permission and now I will be disputing this with my credit card company as well as reporting them for scamming people as I have seen other reviewers with the same issues.

    I bought two things over Christmas recently (2021), both of which had a substantial Rebate incentive. I've done rebates before with no trouble and followed the instructions to the letter, so I had nothing to worry about. I submitted the rebates separately, with all requires documentation by the deadline. After about a month or so I followed up and saw that my rebates had been processed and should receive the response by March 20, 2022. I waited and waited and finally forgot all about it until recently (June 2022). So I called their 800 number to inquire and they said they mailed a response claiming I hadn't submitted a receipt for my purchases, which I know I had because I had to buy new ink for my printer since I infrequently print anything anymore. They then said that because I waited so far outside of the response window that I was no longer eligible for the rebate and there was nothing they could do.

    Also, I never received the letter they claim they sent. I check my mail everyday and I've lived in the same house for 15 years. So it would seem as thought not only did they mishandle the rebate documentation I sent and presumably lost some of that documentation, but they also claim to have sent a letter that I never received to acknowledge they lost some of the documentation I sent. I will never use Newegg again. I've had trouble with them several times and this was certainly the last straw.

    I have been a loyal customer for 20 years, but I will never bother with Newegg again. I placed ONE order for about $5,000 dollars worth of computer parts. They broke that order down into an unknown number of suborders but they "can't tell you how many orders it will be until it ships" which is very confusing, particularly since everyone asks "what's your order number?" Order number? I have no idea how many orders they made. But that's not why I'll never shop there again.

    They also place a demand that certain packages be signed for in person no exceptions whatsoever not even if you sign a slip and leave it on the door. Maybe this makes sense in a big city. But my closest neighbor is more than 1/2 mile away and we just don't have package theft in this region. After contacting UPS and pleading with them to find a way for me not to be present, I was told that this requirement is made by Newegg.com which makes sense because over the past decade I've received hundreds perhaps a couple thousand packages and not once have I needed to be present for the package to be delivered. I've received wine, ammo, tobacco---you name it, it's been left on my doorstep. But not Newegg.

    So basically, if I want to receive the items I purchased, I must stay at home all day waiting for the UPS truck to come. Then I have to repeat that for at least a week since they broke my order into an unknown number of packages and each day more packages seem to be sent. I have no idea which ones need the signature, because no one can tell me how many orders have been made from my one order.

    So, if you have more than a week to take off work to wait for a UPS truck, then perhaps Newegg is a good fit. But I need to work to earn the money it takes to purchase goods, therefore I cannot waste a week waiting for delivery.

    Also: they made NO MENTION that such a stringent requirement would be placed on the package. When I call Newegg, they can't even tell me why the requirement is placed and how many packages the signature is required on (several boxes have been left, but others have not) nor can they tell me how many orders will be made. In the end, it's a complete mess and very confusing.

    It seems that they've designed a system to maximize profit and minimize risk, which is what businesses do, but most businesses also consider whether or not their policies are wildly inconvenient to their customers. However, Newegg doesn't seem to care. UPS even called Newegg with me on the line to request they drop the signature requirement, but they refused. I told them I'd take liability for anything missing, and they still refused. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS unless you think it's fun to play these kinds of games.

    I ordered a hard disk. The tracking showed delivered. I was home all day. I opened the door, there is no package at the door and carrier claims they just set it down at the door and walked away. They did not ring the doorbell or even attempt to hand it to me. Either they delivered to the wrong door or the shipping driver stole the item. I contacted Newegg. They strung me along 10 full business days and then claims after a thourough investigation the carrier determined they left it sitting at the apartment door and walked away.     I ordered 3K worth of hardware. Video card did not work. It takes 10 days to deliver because Newegg uses UPS ground and another two weeks to process according to support?     I preordered the new star wars game & it’s been a week after the release date and it hasn’t even shipped. So I message customer support asking why it’s taking so long. I ask for $$ for compensation for my wait.     The title pretty much sums up. Newegg has zero clue what they are doing when it comes to customer service-- they come up with all kinds of status updates that do not match up when your product got issues, are slow to process requests, and eventually do not process your request and blame it on the manufacture. I have received 0 support and no final solutions. They basically behave like Craiglist. They'd outsource their customer service to some third country small shops and bots. I'm sure they will post a "sincere" follow-up request under my review, which is pretty much also bot. Do yourself a favor and avoid buying from Newegg, no matter how good a deal they might have.

    I saw a deal online for a massage gun at Newegg. Tried to buy it. Put a different delivery address since I did not want the box sitting in front of my door for 12 hrs. Put my job's address. Newegg bounced the sale. Did it again with my home address, this time it went through. Newegg does not give you a choice to ship to a different address on their web page. Asked UPS if they could deliver in a store 3 blocks from my house. They said Newegg does not allow it. Contacted Newegg several times, they blamed it on UPS. Finally, they accepted the change of delivery address. It would be sent to a UPS hub 20 miles away from my house. So much for the price deal, what I saved in the purchase I lost in time and gasoline. Newegg customer service SUCKS. Never again will I deal with them. Now I hope the thing works after all the bad complaints I've read about them.

    I purchased a refurbished desktop with an Allstate extended warranty. It's had hard drive failure from day one but we could use it by restarting 10 times a day. Since it was refurbished I thought I needed to use the Allstate protection plan. They have a 30 day window before coverage begins. Now Newegg won't take it back since it's been over 30 days and Allstate won't cover it saying it was a "preexisting Condition".     Ordered $1,405.64 of various server parts. Of course it was shipped in 3 separate shipments. All 3 shipments were shipped to my old address... 3 hours from where I live. Yes, it was my fault not to check that my current address was not the default address. However, it would be nice to see the shipping address on my confirmation email. Newegg.com just sends order confirmation emails with a bunch of advertisements to clutter up the important information and the shipping address was not shown at all.

    The first 2 shipments arrived at my old address. Newegg.com said they could do absolutely nothing to guarantee that I would get these 2 shipments. I jumped in my vehicle and drove 3 hours 1 way. Luckily the lady at my old address was nice and had my stuff sitting safely in her home. The 3rd shipment had not left Chine yet... (I live in Colorado). I asked both Newegg.com and the seller to update the shipping address to my current address. They both declined to perform this simple little bit of help. They are still shipping $500 of RAM to my old address... 3 hours away. So I get to make another 6 hour round trip.

    Newegg.com used to be a good company. I have bought lots of stuff from them over the years. Now their website is still exactly the same jumbled clutter that it was 20 years ago. Leading to things like shipping to an old address. They also work with so many 3rd party sellers that any communication is just mass confusion. Some of the 3rd party sellers are genuinely good sellers... but many are partial or complete scam artists. And both Newegg.com and the 3rd party sellers love to blame any problem on the other party. Turning into a trash company.

    Ordered a hard drive from Newegg.com (Order # **) relying on their inaccurate listing information. I found out the item was a refurbished product when shipping notification arrived. I request a return right away, and RMA return come in promptly but Newegg charged me $30+ for return (restocking?). I will gladly pay for the fee if I made the mistake but this is not the case.     Ordered 3 items from separate sellers and Newegg itself. One item was never even brought to shipping. Refunded cost without including taxes. 2nd item was delivered to a town not even close to what's on the label. Mind you these are shipping issues with the sellers and how they choose to ship it. Newegg on the other hand shipped by using "UPS Mail Innovations"... Go check the reviews on them. The slowest most ineffective way to ship anything you paid for. I've bought many items from Newegg and this was the worst week ever. Just don't bother, deals or no deals, sellers are not experienced and Newegg doesn't choose the best and fastest shipping. Also you have zero say in how your packages are shipped.

    I would not recommend anyone to buy something from Newegg. Something is wrong with the shipping department. They make serious mistakes with the shipments, and I doubt they have a proper system! Don't expect to get the products to be delivered. The customer support is useless. Worst e-store on the market. I bought a keyboard which was in stock. After 3-4 weeks, it finally landed somewhere in a different state! Customer support suggests a refund and expects me to place a new order and wait for another month.     I was notified of the Gigabyte PSU recall on August 24, 2021. The email had instructions to email back with the serial number if my PSU was among the impacted devices. I replied on August 31, 2021 with that information. No response from Newegg. Several months go by and I attempt to reach out by email again on February 22, 2022. Again, no response. I was finally able to get an agent on the live chat that said that I could get an advance RMA so that I could get a new power supply before sending the old one back so that I wouldn't have any interruptions in my work. Two weeks later, no refund. When speaking with another agent I was told that they can't issue an advance RMA because the product was bought over a year ago. Had they just responded in a timely manner it wouldn't have been over a year. So I've now had this faulty, fire hazard PSU for 7 months after I notified them that I've had it and they're still giving me the run-around. It's shocking to me that a company with these values is still in business.

    My son ordered a motherboard off of New Egg and it was delivered to him DOA. He called them and they immediately told him it was a manufacturer issue and to call the manufacturer. He explained to them that he took it to a well-known computer repair store in my area and the pins on the motherboard were bent on arrival. They again told him it was either a manufacturer issue OR HE BROKE IT. Frustrated by their accusation my son asked me to call them which I did and they tried to tell me that my son TOLD them he bent the pins...NOT TRUE AT ALL. I explained to them that their website has a NO HASSLE return policy and I would like an exchange or refund.

    They put up a stink some more until they agreed to "A courtesy exchange" in layman's term.... "We'll help you out even though we think you shouldn't be compensated" Ok great, thank you... Oh wait... Days after they receive the item returned to them we call and ask what is going on with the exchange... They once again tell me my son said HE BROKE and by the looks of the returned product HE broke it... I again explained of their NO HASSLE POLICY. They once again Agree to a courtesy exchange.

    Next day we receive an email that the product is not in stock and a refund of the cost of the product will be returned to the credit card in 3-5 business days... Fast forward 7 business days...NO REFUND YET. Call again and was told the refund was never issued and it will be issued that day and again will take 3-5 business days to go back on the card...guess what??? Today is business day number 5 and NO REFUND... I will be calling AGAIN tomorrow morning and will probably be told some ** STORY. This company is complete garage and people need to know that.

    I purchased all the parts to build myself a new computer and spent approx. $4,500.00. I assembled the computer with no problems (I once owned a computer store), but it wouldn't post! I tore it apart and reassembled it double checking everything. Still didn't post. So I took the assembled computer to Canada Computers for diagnostics. They found that the motherboard was faulty. I called Newegg to get a RMA, no problem. I returned the motherboard. 4 days later they notify me that the CPU socket was to blame and that's a manufacturing problem. They don't cover that! They returned the faulty motherboard (Asus) and said that I have to deal with them. Newegg only warranties the delivery!! Faulty parts, you have to deal with the manufacturer. I will never buy electronics online again.

    *Alert, Scammy Newegg Seller- Item Defective* Received antminer Z11 equihash miner from 3rd party chinese seller. It is supposed to hash at 135 kSol/s with all 3 hashboards powered on. When I powered it on, only one board hashes at 17kSol/s. I tried re-seating the connectors and a different power supply at 220V input. Seller return policy: 15% Restocking fee does not apply to defective items.

    Created RMA and sent screenshots showing unit does not work to Newegg. Item returned to Newegg with no verification of whether the item functions properly, I offered to walk them through how to set it up. Received 85% refund and charged 15% restocking fee of $360. Newegg took the side of the seller, who sent a video the miner "working" at 140kSol/s prior to it being sent to me. Was this video clipped from youtube? The unit was poorly packaged and could have had component damage on transit via DHL. I continued to file a dispute with Discover with the applicable documentation and claim was also denied. RMA reason for return was "no longer needed" since the Newegg app drop down menu had no option for "item defective". Customer service representative said this will likely cause my claim to fail. TLDR: Avoid Newegg and their 3rd party sellers. I hope their shady business practices will bite them in the **.

    Don't buy from here; their return policy is only for their benefit; my laptop's fan stopped working. I installed a 2.5' SSD and broke the factory seal to install it (The return policy says not to break warranty seals, nothing about factory seals). So when I sent it in, they looked at the sticker and refused to do anything more and didn't even look inside. So I will never buy from them, and I recommend you don't either. This experience with Newegg has been the worse one I have ever had in my life with a business. I have called and used their live messaging about six times throughout the return process; every time, I got a different answer and rushed me off the phone. They do not care about the customer, and it shows. Don't waste your money. I will never forget this and always inform people not to buy from them unless something changes.

    My husband and I ordered a TV in early January from Newegg. Because of this shoddy shipping service they use (AIT), the delivery is still not here...40 days later. We called daily, asking for updates. Every single day we were told something different. The TV was "promised" to be delivered today, in time for the Super Bowl. We were told it is in the shipping warehouse in Los Angeles, not far from where we live. We asked if we could drive to pick it up and were told "not possible". It really is enraging.

    It is now past 5pm, beyond the appointment window, and has yet to arrive. What kind of crappy shipping company does Newegg use that cannot deliver an item within 40 days of the order date (when it was expected to arrive in "7-10" days)??!! We have also tried to cancel and receive a refund to buy a TV from another company but the customer service reps have been extremely unhelpful. Although we have ordered smaller items from Newegg in the past, this is it. Absolutely inexcusable service.

    Order a new monitor that was on sale for my cousin for Christmas. When we open said monitor it had a giant mark on the center of the monitor. We then immediately took photos of the mark and packed up the monitor and sent in an replacement request. It took over three weeks to get an update regarding the monitor and Newegg said nothing was wrong with the monitor and would instead issue a refund taking out $50 of said refund as "restock fees". When I had contacted support to notify them of the error they simply kept brick walling saying they could do nothing. The monitor now no longer being on sale meant I had to now pay MORE money to receive the monitor and now have to wait at least another week to receive the product I had ordered at Christmas. Absolutely awful service and a disgusting act.

    I bought two iPhone. They claimed it is unlocked but they were all locked to a network. It cost me additional money to unlocked one and the other it can't be unlock. Newegg don't keep customer purchases in your account history for long so everything you buy has no traceability. The sellers are able to get away with the lies and they are not held accountable for. I will rather buy from Amazon and pay extra more for traceability and accountability and possibly punish lies than Newegg.

    Tl;dr: I just discovered that physical stores are way better than online shopping. I ordered a new $250 keyboard, and it took 1-2 weeks to arrive. Ordering was an easy experience, though the website wasn't very mobile friendly. I didn't open the keyboard until the holidays, and we discovered the keyboard was used. It had oil stains, it was missing the wireless receiver, and the back stands had been broken off. The process of reaching out to Newegg was slow, and there were numerous bugs along the way. At first, it didn't allow me to view the order at all. It showed an error "you must log in to view this page." Then, I created a new account, but it still wouldn't let me view the order. Ultimately I had to reach out to a human for chat support to request the refund.

    Support initially did not want to accept the product back, because it was 2 weeks past the return window. However, they did offer to contact the seller, and the seller agreed to refund the product. NewEgg had to forward messages to and from the seller, and would not give the seller my email or any way for me to contact them directly. I had to escalate to support every time I wanted to talk to the seller. Additionally, the emails newegg sent were very clunky. It put the entire message on one line, and included lots of random symbols and information that wasn't relevant to me. It was very difficult to read what was actually said. I managed to get a shipping label, and went to the FedEx store to ship the product. That process was relatively easy, and cost me $5 to buy a new box to send it in.

    Neither newegg nor the seller reached out to me after receiving the product. 5 days after the product had arrived at their facility, I reached out and asked if they'd gotten it, and they said yes. They said a refund would be pending. Ultimately, I would not recommend ordering any products from NewEgg. I found the same keyboard at Office Depot for $20 cheaper, and it was in new condition. I didn't have to wait for shipping or anything. I grew up doing all my shopping online, but in the future I'm going try shopping more at physical stores where possible. The experience was just nicer.

    I purchased a computer for my daughter. I paid Newegg 1000$ for it then on Christmas morning when we went to turn it on... It wouldn't do anything and everything was hooked up. So I called and their customer service line was closed for Christmas then when I did get ahold of them 2 days after Christmas on Monday finally they said to send it back they would replace it. So they email me the shipping label and I send it back then I hear nothing for 3 days and I contact them again and they say it will be Jan 5th before they get the computer back. What the.... I received it in 2 days. Why does it take 8 for you to get it back. So then I wanted to get another 1 sent now, they tell me that they can refund me my money once they receive that one back on the 5th not before and that if I need it now I can go online and buy another one and then wait for them to refund me the money for the other one.

    No I'm not going and giving another $1,000 for the same computer that didn't work the first time from you. Not happening. So I told them I just wanted the one I paid for the first time to be working and in my home. They said it would be expedited and I would have it one day one business day after they received the package. Well then the fifth comes and I contact them again cause I still haven't heard anything else from and they told me then that is still has to go through processing which is one to two days and then possibly be sent out 3 days after the 5th. Okay this is the 7th now and I still have not heard anything back from them and the only thing that I can get from them is that it's still processing.

    I have never dealt with anywhere that has worst customer service skills or protocols ever. It's ridiculous. I paid for it. I did nothing but pay for what was supposed to have been of Christmas present that my daughter still has not gotten and it's the 7th of January now and they could careless that their product didn't work or that it ruined Christmas. But other than that I am overly put out that a company that is supposed to be reputable and highly recommended has such poor protocols and standards for dealing with situations like this. I have never and will never again deal with them and recommend that no one else does either.

    Unless you don’t follow tech at all, you’re well aware of the worldwide chip shortage that’s contributing to the near impossibility of locating and purchasing a recent video graphics card whose price isn’t being scalped by a greedy and opportunistic “reseller.” I was fortunate enough to be able to purchase an MSI GeForce RTX 3070 just before Christmas from Newegg. With the holiday shipping being what it is, my supposed 3-day shipping became 10 days. But I recognized that wasn’t Newegg’s fault.

    What is Newegg’s fault, however, is as follows. My shiny new video card had a defective fan. I spoke to Newegg support who informed me that in order to receive a replacement, I would need to send in the card and a replacement would be shipped to me. Under normal circumstances, this wouldn’t be an issue. However, these are not normal circumstances. Given the dearth of video cards worldwide, I asked if I could purchase a replacement and then return the original card once I received the new one. I was told I could do this. Of course to do so would require the card be in stock. Luckily, it was! But it was earmarked for Newegg Shuffle.

    Now, if you’re not familiar with the Shuffle, let me explain it. It’s basically the lottery, and the odds of winning aren’t much better. Essentially, for three or so hours, you can register for the items you would like to purchase. Then everyone who registers is placed in a randomized queue, and if any of the items you registered to purchase are still available by time your name is called, you have a short window in which you are granted the privilege of spending your hard-earned money on Newegg’s limited stock of (in this case) graphics cards. But it’s not that simple. People who don’t even want graphics cards register for the Shuffle. To the tune of literally tens if not hundreds of thousands of people, every time a shuffle occurs. People “play” the shuffle daily literally for years sometimes before they finally “win.”

    Newegg’s support representative told me I could register for the shuffle and purchase the card that way if I won. But I knew that was unlikely and very kindly ask that given the circumstances they remove one card from the shuffle and let me purchase it to replace my defective one. Otherwise what I know would happen is I would return my defective card for a replacement, a replacement wouldn’t be available, and they would just refund my money. And that’s not at all what I wanted. If I wanted my money and not a graphics card, I would have simply never purchased a card. But the support representative either refused to or couldn’t grasp that. She said she would open a case to inquire in the event if I was not selected for the shuffle if I could be reselected. That seemed fishy to me, but it was the only option I was given.

    I just received the email that my request to be re-entered as a “winner” for the one card I needed to replace my defective one was denied. Newegg clearly cannot, does not, and will not acknowledge the impossible scenario they have put me in. This was an absolute breakdown in customer service. The fact is, they had the card I needed. In stock! Ready to ship! Ready to go! They COULD have helped me, but they refused. Choosing rather instead to subject me to the same silly “shuffle” as everyone else despite the fact that I had already successfully purchased the product from them and had been shipped a defective one. Until this is resolved, I will never purchase an item from Newegg again and will do everything in my power to ensure no one else I know does either.

    Newegg stole 8000$ from my company. We're a seller to Newegg for over 1 year, overnight Newegg put on hold our payments (8000 in pending) and is not sending us our money.     I live in Canada and purchased a gaming monitor for my son for Christmas through the Newegg.ca website. I also purchased the extended 2 year warranty.

    The monitor lasted 1.5 days before turning black at the bottom left corner (about 1/4 of the the monitor surface). Newegg won't be held accountable because I ordered it more than 30 days prior to Christmas. The warranty company (CPS) is through the USA and won't cover the cost of shipping to the USA (I specifically purchased the product in Canada for this reason...just in case). I tried calling ASUS directly. Of course you can't speak with anyone, and I'll be surprised if they return my calls. So at the end of the day, it goes to show that the Consumers Act doesn't really help anyone who purchases Christmas presents before they run out of stock. The worst part is Newegg just wants absolutely nothing to do with being accountable to help.

    What a crock of **, I have been dealing with Newegg for over 20 yrs. And I'm about to shut down my account with them. I placed a order for a WD Blue M.2 500 GB ssd, and a PCIe M.2 adapter card on the 18th of December for over 70.00. I Requested free shipping and was told it would arrive in 4-7 Business days, Well after the 8th Business day and still no package I contact Newegg, And I was informed they sent the package through something called UPS Mail Innovations.

    They sent my package with UPS. On the 19th of December the item was left Indiana. On the 25th it Arrived at its final destination of Redding, Ca. and was transferred over to USPS. Where USPS then transferred it to a **UPS Facility** in San Leandro, Ca. 3 hours south of its final destination and then lost it!

    The last report of the package was on the 27th leaving San Leandro in the hands of USPS. That was 2 days ago and there is no updates since. I contacted UPS and they said they transferred the package to USPS in Redding, Ca. 96002 But NO One can find the package currently. Then I find out that After the 4-7 Business days "Mail Innovations" has up to 10 days to deliver it to the Consumer who ordered it! So up to 17 days from the time it was Ordered, WTF! Newegg has slipped drastically in Shipping and Consumer affairs to the point of No return!

    My wife bought a computer on 12/6 but the computer took a little extra time to get to us, after it was delivered we tested the computer, to make sure everything worked, came to find that it wasn't working properly, and it didn't have a Wi-Fi on the computer, so we decided to return it (have in mind that on the website it said that it came with Wi-Fi).     DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE I MADE. DO NOT RISK YOUR MONEY ORDERING FROM NEWEGG. Just pay extra and order from Amazon or something. I ordered a AMD Ryzen 9 5950X. With a great sale price and discount I paid $677.70. I even made sure it was sold and shipped by Newegg themselves to be safe. AND IT'S BEEN A NIGHTMARE EVER SINCE. They used Ontrac and I never got my package. It was "signed for" by a Herry H. I am not Herry. I don't even know a Herry. Ontrac also stated they do not require an actual physical signature. They just input a name, any name for the delivery. But now Newegg keeps claiming it was delivered properly so they refuse a refund or replacement and making it my problem if it was stolen or never delivered properly. How is it delivered properly when it needed a signature and I didn't sign for it?!?!

    They are ignoring the police report I submitted about never receiving the item and refused my claims for a refund multiple times now. So if you use Newegg their position is if it requires a signature it doesn't matter WHO signs for it. It doesn't have to be you. The delivery people can literally just make up names to "sign and deliver" the package and you are screwed out of your item and money if you shop with Newegg. Newegg will do everything in their power to refuse your claim and ignore you. DO NOT SHOP WITH THEM. YOU WILL GET CHEATED OF YOUR MONEY IF ANYTHING AT ALL GOES WRONG. DO NOT RISK IT!!!

    I ordered a gaming desk off of here for my son for Christmas. I never usually buy off any other website but Amazon but they were all sold out. So I decided to give this company Newegg a try! My son's gaming desk came in all busted up, missing parts, just total crap bent up. It gets better. I can’t return it!!! How disappointing. What a waste of money….     Horrible!!! I'm still waiting on a refund that's taking almost two weeks to come. I should have looked at the reviews before making a purchase. They lost my item and they were not going to let me know anything. I had to complain about ups not receiving the item which it says it on the UPS website. Newegg swore it was because the updates on the website is slow.

    A label was already created and it shipped....Well two weeks later it still said the same thing. The rep asked if I wanted a refund or to replace it. Well, I didn't get chance to reply due to me working the following day I spoke to another rep. She stated she can put in a request for an investigation to be complete. I advised her there is no need for a process of investigation to complete, which will take roughly 7-10 days to complete. So, I asked for a full refund. She said something that really did not make any type of sense...So I had to clarify, that they were sending me a refund. She said it'll take 3 to 7 days for it to be refunded. It's been 4 days so I'm still waiting.

    Last night/This morning I wrote a review on their website...similar to this one. Well, I go back on the website to speak another rep about my refund...(I check in everyday because no one has $700 to throw away) and the review was gone and they changed it from one star to 5 stars....Crazy... I will never, ever, ever do business with them!! Don't be like me and not read the reviews because you see the awesome prices. Yeah, they have awesome prices however, you risk not getting your item, item coming broken and a wrong item....Good luck trying to get your money back. Buying cheap ain't always the best way...     I ordered Ryzen 7 5700G on Nov 28, 2021 for $348.42. However, I cancelled it the next day (Nov. 29, 2021) after reading some reviews on this website wherein they mentioned Newegg ripped them off and the computer parts/computer they bought are not working. I received an email confirming the cancellation of my order and I was advised to wait for 5 business days for refund. However, until now, I haven't received my refund. I contacted their customer support several times but their advice were all the same and that is to contact my bank to release the pending fund when there is none according to my bank.

    Guys, aside from selling refurbished item by deceiving their customer it's new. They're also selling computer and computer components that is only good for several days and after that, it will stop working. In my case they've taken my money and never plan to return it. I have already requested my bank to investigate this matter and I wish to further escalate this matter to proper authority and file a case. Guys never deal nor make any transaction with this company.

    I purchased two items from Newegg on Black Friday. The delivery date they advertised was Monday 11/29. I write this review on Thursday 12/2 because my purchases still haven’t arrived. I spoke with a representative a short while ago who advised it will likely be another week or two before I can expect them. Meanwhile, their delivery tracker listed yesterday (before it expired) and now today as the expected delivery date. They launched “1 day delivery” this year and that was clearly fictional. 3/4 representatives I’ve spoken with were rude and none unfortunately offered any assistance other than the recommendation to “wait”.

    I spent well over a thousand dollars and they’re treating it as if I’m following up on an item given away for free. I live 40 miles from the warehouse but I’ve been advised it isn’t possible to pickup the item myself. Stay away from this company even if you have to spend more on the same product elsewhere. You’ll thank me when the item actually arrives as expected. I would leave negative stars if it were possible.

    I purchase the Asus ROG Flox X13 with XG Mobile (Nvidia 3080) Less than 2 weeks after owing the $3500 laptop the connector became defective. This was out of no fault of my own. I followed the procedure to connect and disconnect the xg mobile perfectly. I contacted Newegg. Went through what had happened. Found out this is a common issue with this laptop. Informed them I no longer had the shipping box. I was instructed to ship this back to Newegg for a refund.... great.

    2 weeks later I get this device shipped back to me saying it did not meet the return qualifications. Contacted Newegg again for a better explanation. They issued me a case number. Was told I would be contacted within 3-7 business day with a resolution. 7 business days was 4 business days ago. No resolution. No contact from Newegg that was not initiated by me. I would never be treated like this at Best Buy, Costco, Walmart, Staples, Visions and this list goes on! Worst customer service ever!

    Newegg does not honor their price match guarantee and also said that my item was non-refundable. Do not do business with them as they do not honor their own policies.     I am going to make my long story short. Purchased a "Brand New" PC on 10/21... Received on 10/23 and that same day I called to notify of the issues. This PC had a CPU Temperature error and would not stay on past 30 Seconds. I had to send it back which took another 5 days for them to receive the equipment. The equipment was received on 11/01, I was promised a 2-4 day process and a new one will be sent out. It is 11/18 on the day I write this review and I just received my first email from the company after my numerous calls to inquire about the replacement. I ended up asking for a refund. Coincidentally the same day 11/11/21, they received word on the returned equipment. I was told the process would take 3-5 days...

    Once again it's 11/18 and NOW is when this RMA was closed and I would have to wait (you guessed it) another 3-5 days... Once this ordeal is done, I would have exactly a month to finalize a process that other companies have finalized in hours... This company promises call backs and emails, for nothing ... If I could have put 0 stars, believe me I would.. I honestly wish the CEO or someone from corporate were to take their time and read this message or even listen to their recorded calls... That company is a shame.

    Update: Still 1 star, but worse situation. I decided I would just like a refund and to buy from Amazon. Now a second service rep is telling me they cannot give me a refund and I have to work with MSI. Never again. I ordered a MSI Z590 Pro motherboard from them (among other things) and when it arrived there were two bent pins in the CPU socket. I contacted support and they told me to reach out to MSI because it will be faster. I didn't buy it from MSI, I bought it from Newegg. The service rep, who was helpful, basically told me that it would be weeks before I had my new motherboard if they processed the return/replacement.

    Lesson learned - order everything from Amazon. The motherboard was on sale which is the only reason I didn't. To me the appropriate response is, "We will get a new one in the mail ASAP, and here is the shipping label so you can return the damaged product." Not, "Well it will take a while for it to come back to us, 4 days to process the refund, 2 or 4 days for us to ship, and then a week or so for it to show up at your house."

    Two out of the three laptops I've bought from Newegg have been defective, as diagnosed by the manufacturers. Defective to such a degree that they just told me to return them instead of trying to repair them - the first one had a motherboard that died after a couple of weeks, and the second one had a broken speaker and... something going on with the graphics card. It got about a third of the FPS as another six year old laptop I had. Their prices are good, but I am suspicious that they are selling refurbished or factory rejects as new, regular products.

    Worst customer service I’ve ever had. Ordered a gaming computer, anxiously awaiting for it to arrive, right? I even paid extra for two-day shipping and requested a signature for acceptance with UPS. It was my first computer since I was a kid and $2,000-no way I was going to wait for it to sit outside my door. I take the day off to wait for the delivery so I can sign for it and set it up, right? The delivery window passes so I check my tracking number. Guess what-my package is marked as lost. So I filed a claim with UPS, right? They accept it of course, having marked my package as lost in the first place.

    I contacted Newegg to let them know, I provided screenshots of UPS stating it was lost and accepting my claim. The first customer service rep apologizes and asks if I would like a refund or replacement. Of course I want a replacement, but I'm still excited to get a computer! I understand stuff happens, so I request a replacement if they can’t find my lost computer. After about a week I hear nothing so I reach back out and I’m told by customer service to be patient, although I’ve waited the expected 7-10 days now.

    Imagine my confusion when I reach out for a third time to a customer service rep to tell me that my package was delivered and will not be replacing or refunding me. I’m completely confused because I have the screenshots of UPS stating it was lost, that my lost package claim was approved, AND and my first approval claim from Newegg stating I’ll get a replacement. I send all of this information to customer service again and receive the same reply.

    Avoid Newegg at all costs! This is a predatory, dishonest business that WILL NOT support you as a customer. Beware. After purchasing the ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 router through the Newegg platform, I was surprised to find that, when it arrived, in a sealed box, my newly purchased item was in fact a used/open box item. You could not tell from the outside of the box as an attempt was made to conceal this fact. I complained to Newegg. I have spoken with so-called "customer service" through the chat function and had 4 separate agents give me the absolute run-around.

    Their customer service personnel have done nothing but delay, obstruct, lie, mislead, on and on and on. Ultimately, they claimed that the unit that they sent me was brand new, even though I took pictures and emailed them to show them that it was in fact not new, they refused to refund my ~$600 purchase even though I have returned the unit using their RMA process. I now have no router AND Newegg has so far refused to refund my purchase. It has been in their possession for about 3 weeks now.

    This business is truly appalling. I would say it is the worst customer experience that I have ever had with any business, anywhere, ever. How impressive! Congratulations to Newegg for being the absolute worst business that I have ever encountered. To be clear, I have been robbed before, by real criminals who stole my watch. My experience with Newegg felt just the same. Like I have been shaken down by crooks. Awful business. Awful customer service. Just stay far far away. I wish I had read reviews before buying from them!

    Purchased a Refurbished IPhone XR on September 24. After having it activated and all my information transferred it was defective. It had no audio. I erased all my information and requested a return label which cost me $12.95. I went to UPS to return it. The label they emailed me was not valid. Requested a second label. I was charged another $12.95. I returned again to UPS and it was sent 2 day Air. I was then told New Egg was not the seller. It was a 3rd party and there was also a $59.95 restocking fee? For a defective Phone? New Egg charged my credit card not a 3rd party. I have not received one dime refund to date after numerous calls and complaints to them. So I’m out over $420.00 with no phone.     Updated on 10/19/2021: I left a review about "Newegg always denies computer defects and deducts restocking fee from refund." Newegg then made a response and asked me to "send a private message to them". I sent a private message but received no further response. The same happens when I leave comments/complaints about Newegg on other platform. It would be interesting to see Newegg leaves another "sent us private message" to this comment. Let's wait.

    Original Review: I bought a computer from newegg.ca and find that the HDMI port doesn't work. I requested a refund and everything looked smooth. Newegg webpage showed that I would get full refund after they receive the computer. After I shipped back the computer and was waiting for refund, Newegg told me that "their internal team have checked and the computer works fine." 15% restocking fee will be deducted as the product is not defective. I thought the full refund was approved when I pressed the refund button and stated the defects. The page even showed me the amount to be refunded. I didn't expect Newegg would change the agreement so I didn't leave any proof of the defect. In fact Newegg never asked me for a proof even I made a complaint about the restocking fee. I feel that I'm cheated and suspect that newegg.ca plays the same trick to all defective computer return.

    I purchased a PSU and didn't realize it was a 3rd party vendor on NewEgg. The same day I got it I had the power supply running. Everything was fine until the middle of the same night it made an extremely loud pop. It was broke of course. I had to argue with the guy about him claiming it's a consumable product to me flat out frying it. Eventually he said ok and it was off in the mail. Then they claim I didn't put the power cable in the box. I did. I searched the whole room it was in since I had it just to make sure. This one was beat up, the labels were not the same as the photos I had of mine. No original packaging. And somehow they claim to have photos of it with no cable. Which newegg won't even share with me. I'm so beyond frustrated and newegg is backing this Wilson's Electronics scammer. I even got a response in a prior complaint to email them. Of course newegg never replied back to me.

    After today I will never use this company again. I bought a keyboard that was shipped to the wrong place. I contacted customer service. The representative was rude and condescending. Didn't help me at all and didn't give me any solutions. The only thing she would say was, "It take 48 hours for the shipper to respond. Until then they could miss your credit." As far as our customer guarantee for returns you could wipe your back side with it because that's all it's worth. They do not care about you or the business you give them.

UPS shipping carrier delivers my packages in time without any problem. UPS shipping carrier doesn't require me make any extra payment.

    DHL shipping carrier is a big problem for international shipping in Turkey. DHL shipping carrier makes lots of trouble. They don't deliver the packages in time. They request me make extra payments to them!!! I connected the newegg live support agents so many times and I told them all about it. I requested the cancellation of shipping via DHL shipping carrier while my order is still in USA and sending my order via UPS shipping carrier. The newegg live support agents told me I cannot select the shipping carrier. One of the newegg live support agents sent my request to the newegg warehouse. The agent told me it's only a request and there is no guarantee.

    Order # **, Tracking #: **. The newegg requested the package back from DHL shipping carrier while my order is in Germany. I learned my order will be refunded or sended by UPS shipping carrier. I talked the newegg live support agents and I sent a request to the newegg warehouse email address. I don't want refund. I want my order. I also requested my all future orders will be sended via UPS shipping carrier. They finally told me my order will be resended via UPS shipping carrier. The problem is solved for Order # **, Tracking #: **. I'm so happy about it.

    Order # **, Tracking #: **. The package has arrived in my country. DHL shipping carrier didn't agree with me sending my package back to the shipper. DHL shipping carrier wanted me to pay extra ₺ 2,000 money to deliver my package to me. I told them about UPS shipping carrier doesn't request extra money to deliver the package but DHL shipping carrier doesn't care about it. I had to make ₺ 2,000 payment to DHL shipping carrier because the newegg didn't hand over my package to UPS shipping carrier. I sent the money via bank wire. The payment document is attached.

    Finally, DHL shipping carrier told me they sent my package to my address after they had received the money ₺ 2,000 from me. Please check all the attached files in this review. All of them is related to the Order # **, Tracking #: **. Who will pay me back my extra ₺ 2,000 payment to DHL shipping carrier? I already told your company about DHL shipping carirer is bad in Turkey and UPS is good in Turkey. But nobody cares. :( It's not fair.     This is a scam. They create shipping label on the same day. Product will be shipped very late. Any requests to cancel will be countered with 'Cant cancel. Shipping label already created. Refunds will cost you re-stocking fee and shipping. Even for defective products. You will be asked to reach out to manufacturer to understand if it is defective or if it's a feature. Scam scam scam.

    I have internet cafe in Turkey. I renew my old-systems. I am shopping at newegg.com for months. Newegg sent all of my orders via UPS shipping carrier. UPS shipping carrier is the best company for international shipping in Turkey. Their staff is helpful to their customer. I feel valued and not any problem so far. I have a problem about my last two order. But the problem isn't UPS shipping carrier. My last two order sent via DHL shipping company by newegg. I realised it immediately and I contacted with the live support of the newegg. I also called the customer support of DHL in Turkey and I tried to cancel my shipping. DHL shipping carrier told me the sender of the packages have to contact DHL customer support to cancel the shipping. But the newegg doesn't contact with the DHL shipping carrier to cancel the shipping.

    DHL shipping carrier is a big problem in Turkey. They doesn't make the custom clearance if the package value is over 1500 EURO. My order's value is over 1500 EURO. I cannot receive my packages from DHL shipping carrier. The packages is still in the USA. I told the newegg I can make any extra payment if they cancel the shipping vid DHL and send my packages via UPS shipping carrier. But newegg team doesn't help me about it. My orders will deliver to the Turkey's customs but I cannot receive them. I can only receive my orders if newegg sends them via UPS shipping company. Please find a solution.     I entered my delivery zip code wrong by one digit. I contacted chat to let them know and make sure the packages were sent to the right address. They were sent out, but returned to sender. I called support and told them what happened. Bethany was remorseful and said she'd see what she could do to give me expedited shipping. Bethany told me to call back after the items were returned to sender. I called after the items were returned to sender, and told the agent what Bethany had said. The agent told me I had to purchase the items again and then call back. After buying the items again and calling back, the new agent told me it was impossible to give expedited shipping after an order is complete. I have spent numerous hours trying to handle this shipping incident and was sent on a goose chase, just to be left disappointed. My pc build is delayed by 2 weeks, and I'm confident I will never buy from Oldegg again.

    Updated on 09/01/2021: This is a follow up on my August review. Newegg would not take back my CPU. I however I got it to work with a compatible motherboard I bought elsewhere. They sold me a bundle with an incompatible motherboard and CPU. They wouldn't take the CPU back because they said I damaged it. Now they won't take back the motherboard because I have to return the whole bundle. New Egg also said they don't guarantee that their bundles are compatible. So the computer experts are selling incompatible bundles. So why bundle it if it doesn't work. Resolution is I ate the cost of the motherboard, kept the CPU and built a computer for parts from a reliable store. New Egg lost a customer.

    Original Review: I ordered an Asus TUF Gamer Motherboard and a Ryzen 7 CPU. I got the items quickly and installed them. My computer would not boot up. I've built several computers before. I am not a novice. All I did was take the CPU out of the box and put it in the motherboard. It fit perfect. It just didn't work right out of the box. I returned it to Newegg and they told me I damaged it during installation and I wouldn't be receiving a refund or new item and I had to take it up with AMD. It was also returned within their time window.

    I am an IT Director for a hospital system and have let my department use Newegg to purchase many products the hospitals have needed over the years but that came to an end today. I ordered a PS5 and VR combo for my nephew's birthday and went through the normal PIN for the credit card, account email verification and so on. The product never shipped and when I check the account today, it was locked. I called customer service and was told that my account was locked and my order canceled due to fraud. ??? I explained that this was a Birthday present but was told there was no one I could talk to and they would send an email and maybe the fraud department would unlock the account but I couldn't talk to anyone. When I asked to talk with a supervisor the Customer Support agent hung the phone up. I called back and spoke to a supervisor who seemed very uninterested in either the issue with the blocked account or rude Customer Support agent.

    In the end, I have to wait to see why I have been branded a thief, I assume it's because my nephew lives in Ohio and I am in Florida, and that at best I could reorder and the present would be delivered well after his Birthday, a present he is excitedly waiting for. Even though they have my email, I never was asked to contact the company. If you want to maybe get your product, and are willing to endure slander and very poor customer service, buy here. Otherwise, buy anywhere but here.

    I bought a 2015 Macbook Pro from Newegg after doing research online. I've only had it for a little over a year and 4 of the screws that secure the bottom have fallen off leaving a gap between the top of the computer and the bottom. The screws immediately started getting loose within a month of buying. I only use at my desk or when I sit at my couch and have maybe traveled with it twice where it was secured in its case. The sound in both the speakers are very bad and crackle whenever I play sound. I initially could use it for Zoom meetings for work when first bought but the sounds is so bad now, I have to use a different device. It initially started on one side and now both sides.

    The battery is completely unreliable and sometimes shuts off with 30% left and other times with 5%. And even when fully charged sometimes the screen just goes blank and have to press power button to get the screen to come back on. This usually coincides with the fan getting louder so I don't think the fan even works properly on the computer. I had a previous Mac for 10 years and never had these issues so really disappointing that I feel I was sold a faulty computer that started to break down within months of buying.

    Built a PC, entered Newegg shuffle multiple times (unsuccessfully) finally found a reasonable GPU elsewhere, purchased the rest of my supplies from Newegg. Purchase completed, got email with shipment order, logged in and my account was suspended. Entered the process to reinstate my account (1-2 business days) week later, no response. Tried again, no response. Meanwhile I got most of supplies but the CPU order got cancelled. So went to customer support, told me to enter the previous process that I already did. Told them I tried but got no response. So they entered it manually for me, asked me a few questions, told me my account was flagged for verification issues, 3 days later no response.

    Again went to customer support, discovered the account would not be reinstated. I was never given a reason why it caught the verification flag, nor given an opportunity to clear it. All my information was entered correctly, payment information matched as well. Unfortunately this means any product I purchased will not be backed by a warranty. I’ll just stick with Amazon. Their prices are higher but the process is far more streamlined.

    I purchased a Gigabyte Aorus 3090 from the shuffle with an item I didn't want. The is done by Newegg to sell things that aren't moving from their warehouse. The 3090 didn't work, there is a regular blackscreen error now (google it, "3090 blackscreen" you'll find 100s of threads now). Newegg promised to RMA it, then got it back from me, and forced a Refund of the item I wanted. They didn't offer any options other than the refund. They left me with the item I did not want. They said the reason they didn't offer to replace it was they didn't have any others. I went on their website, and found that did have others as parts of other combos. I contacted them and they said they can't break combos (I received a similar combo, it's just two items in a box, they're not attached or anything).

    Newegg is just giving HORRIBLE customer service right now. The shuffle makes you think you might get lucky and get a GPU that is nearly impossible to get, but no, they will make you buy something you don't want, sell you a broken item, then take your broken item back promising to replace it, but then refund it instead and leave you with the other item.

    Do not buy from Newegg right now. They don't care about you, or their policies, or GPU shortages and how hard is it for you to get one, they just want to sell you broken stuff in combos they know you don't want, and hope you keep the undesirable parts they're not selling. After talking to 3 agents and a supervisor, the only solution I was given was some store credit for the item I didn't want, and no shipping back (I paid for next day air), so I didn't get the item I want, the item I didn't want I now have to spend on something else at their store I do, and I'm out dozens of hours of my time, and expensive shipping costs.

    I was "lucky" enough to win the Newegg shuffle which gave me the opportunity to purchase a GPU along with a motherboard that I don't want. The payment process was easy but I was delivered an empty box. Someone went into my package and opened both the GPU and motherboard box and stole them. Essentially I was delivered a GPU and motherboard box. I filed a police report and sent it to newegg. They denied my claim because UPS confirmed that the box was delivered. Now I'm out $1200.     I have ordered plenty of items from Newegg over the years and my experience up until my most recent purchase has been great. I recently won the Newegg shuffle after entering for months straight. I then regret-tingly paid $850 for a 3070 TI graphics card that is meant to be priced closer to $600. On top of that I had to purchase the $189 motherboard I didn’t need if I wanted the graphics card.

    After my $1100 purchase for a graphics card with an msrp of $600 I waited for my “3 day shipping” which ended up being 5 days. Then when my order had finally arrived, the one item I had paid all this money in order to obtain was missing from my shipment. I immediately contacted NewEgg support and filed a claim. I was told it would take 3-5 business days to process my claim from start to finish. Here I am nearly a week from when my order was delivered and I still haven’t even received an update on my claim. This will be my last purchase from Newegg and I will make sure to tell friends and family to steer clear of them.

    We purchased a prebuilt gaming PC from Newegg. ABS Gladiator Gaming PC - Intel i9 10850K - GeForce RTX 3080 - G.Skill TridentZ RGB 32GB DDR4 3200MHz - 1TB Intel M.2 NVMe SSD - RGB 240MM AIO. This PC looked really nice, however it was defective. The RTX 3080 was bad. It looked like someone had shoved it in. It was not sitting straight and looked to have a small piece of foreign material caught between the GPU and the motherboard. We returned the PC and received a prompt full refund. 0 stars for the build as it was sloppy. 1 star for a defective PC being shipped out. 5 stars for a prompt refund. Very irritating having to ship it back. We had really hoped this would be a great PC.

    I ordered this product a year ago and it has never worked once. I contacted Newegg to start a return then was told to first contact Amarey for product support. I did this but they were not able to solve my issue. They then told me they were going to send me a product return label. I waited a few days but still got no return label from them. Emailed them for a update but had no response for a week. I then contacted Newegg about the situation but they told me it was past the 30 days but this is only because the manufacturer just ignored me making a return impossible. I'm now stuck with this broken vacuum and no options. NEVER order from Newegg. The support won't be there for you.

    We ordered a laptop and headset. This would have been our second purchase with New-egg. After waiting 6 days, I decided to check the delivery status. In doing so I find out the account had been suspended, and the products would not be shipped. Concerned with why the account was suspended, we contacted customer service. We were told that they can't release that information to us. Furthermore the order had been cancelled and the debit card would not be charged.

    Upon checking the bank balance, it was already charged for the products! We were able to find a telephone number and spoke with various people. None of which could give a concrete reason and that the account was being reviewed for reinstatement. Who in the world would want to do further business under these circumstances? So the funds are to be credited in 3 to 5 business days. I have sincere doubts, but let us see what happens. We were offered a $25 gift certificate, after I suggested remuneration. This is of course to be used towards a future purchase. NO THANK YOU!! They must have grown since 2013, my first purchase and now have too much business care.

    I purchased a bundle deal online from Newegg on Dec. 18 2020. Due to pandemic I was unable to get my computer set up by my computer guy due to his backlog and the pandemic. Two days ago the computer company I use to set up and upload software and set up printer and plotter was unable to do so because computer will not power on. The monitor screen flickered and flashed and afterwards would not power on again. Newegg advised they have a 30 day warranty and referred me to Dell stating I had a one year warranty from Dell. I advised them I had not registered the computer due to not having internet during pandemic and unable to have my files transferred from old pc to new.

    Dell stated the unit was 5 years old and not covered by Dell and referred me back to Newegg. After 8 calls to Dell and three disconnects by Dell, no one from Dell bothered to call me back. They told me three different stories and assured me they could assist in troubleshooting but repair and parts would be at my expense. They never troubleshot anything with me but instead disconnected me after sending me to other departments and putting me on hold.

    Newegg used a third party called Blair Tech on this purchase. Blair Tech says no warranty. I have a unit that I have never used or registered due to pandemic and no one cares. It is a total RIPOFF. Refurbished junk is what I have that is of no use to me at all. Disgusted is putting it mildly. The unit is more than likely registered to Blair Tech and any warranty at all could not be transferred if ever there was one due to the fact it has never been registered in my name. The pandemic is something that is beyond our control as far as national shut down and other associated crisis. In the future I will stick with HP products. Nothing is worth the hassle of dealing with three companies that could care less.

    On June 7, 2021, I paid for a Win 10 activation code through the Newegg website. Case Number: **, Invoice number: **, Account Number: **. I received the code the same day and wanted to activate it instantly, but Windows didn't recognize the code. I contacted customer support at the same moment - the screenshot of the chat script is attached.

    Newegg's customer service representative couldn't help me and asked me to wait a couple of days when I needed to activate Windows asap. Since I had a work urgency, I couldn't wait that long, so I purchased another activation code from Microsoft, and it worked. I wasn't able to, and I didn't use the code sold to me by Newegg. Two days after, my credit card was charged for the activation code that was not functional at the moment of purchase. And Newegg customer support had no idea how to fix it.

    When I opened a complaint regarding the issue, I was told that Microsoft validated the code. The problem is that at the moment of purchase, the code was not even accessible to the customer service representative, and he/she could do nothing to help me. You should know well that it's illegal to charge a client for a product that incompatible, not useful, or its performance or quality not adequate. Newegg MUST reimburse me immediately.

    Newegg has decided to go the route of best buy and other giants by adding "services", "features", and "warranties" to orders when you did not choose them. You then have to call them (good luck trying to get Allstate... SQUARETRADE... on the phone!!) and find out that NO they cannot remove it in a timely fashion if at all, and NO you cannot cancel the order because... reasons. It's almost like I actually channeled tigerdirect in 2008 and am just hungry for abuse. Sure I did the little survey, do think for one second anyone gives two **, or even one, what your survey says?

    Think again kids. There is NOTHING you can get from newegg that you can't get for the same price or cheaper with free shipping at amazon, (or microcenter) and you don't have to deal with (illegal) bill padding. But hey, you can call them right? Sure, and have some mush mouth, base wage idiot read from a script as they eat loudly. Now this is all assuming you can reach a human.

    The auto response system doesn't even have the word "hundred" in its vocabulary, so it literally told me my wait time was "one two seven minutes". The call center supervisors think this is wildly amusing, Me? Less so. This stuff has only been getting progressively worse as time goes on. Newegg used to be the gold standard. Those days are long, LONG gone.

    Granted it isn't like anyone at that company gives two (or even one) ** what a 16 or 17 year long customer thinks, but I, personally, will never buy another anything from them ever again. Sure, I could be that guy, I could name names of the morons I had to deal with....but if you have read this far, ask yourself this, would anything happen to change things in the future? You know the answer.

    For a final thought, do you know ANYONE that would pay for a three year warranty for a product that literally costs pennies more than said "warranty"? Of course not. BTW, it's squaretrade...that's kinda all you have to know. This company (read Allstate) has been involved in ongoing litigation for almost a decade straight. You're in good hands... problem is those hands are ** you. AFTERMARKET WARRANTIES ARE A SCAM... but hey, newegg thinks they're swell.... so there's that. Good luck!

    I purchased a television (order #**) from NewEgg on 19 May 2021 for $2,985.79. The TV shipped on 20 May with a projected delivery date of 26 May. After the delivery date passed I reached out to the carrier to determine status and they informed me the package was damaged in transit. When I called NewEgg to request a refund the customer service representative told me that I needed to call the freight company to get return status of damaged package then call back NewEgg to inform them. This is unacceptable as the package was never delivered to customer; the shipper and carrier should have processes in place to communicate logistics problems in transit. This unfortunately is not the case as my damaged package continues to sit in the local carrier terminal for three weeks and counting.

    NewEgg’s inability or unwillingness to communicate with carrier has prevented me from recouping my $2,985.79 which is a considerable sum of money for my family. I am a disabled veteran on a fixed income so having such a large sum tied up for over a month is a significant financial burden. I am seeking a full and prompt refund. I have filed a report with the California State Consumer Protection Office and am considering my legal alternatives.

    I recently placed an order for a monitor that was turned out defective after a 12 days of use, when I made a claim for a refund they asked me to return the item so I did. They received the item ding up from the shipping & automatically assumed it was me who damaged it. When I asked what determines how it was damaged they said the box it came in wasn’t damaged. I am a consumer mind you, I always read return policies. They basically said that I decided to return an item that I supposedly damaged.... I am so disappointed. Item gets damaged during transit & now I’m out of $1,100 because Newegg doesn’t want to refund me for an item that was damaged in transit.

    I purchased two LED Dimmer Controller Kits for use with existing LED lights in my kitchen. I received them quickly and installed them. Both controllers worked for about a day and then the remote control would no longer control the lights. I changed the batteries but that did not fix it. I contacted the company: TorchStar. After a few days of discussion, they told me that their product is not compatible with the brand of LED lights that I have (CleanLife). I ask if they would refund my money and they said only if the units are defective. Further, they wrote that if it is just a compatibility issue, that was my fault for not checking with the light manufacturer.

    Regarding compatibility, the Newegg website states nothing about limited compatibility for this product. It does give the voltage range and a maximum amperage as well as a steady amp rating. My installation stayed within those limits.

    Dissatisfied with TorchStars' handling of this issue, I wrote a review of the product and submitted it to Newegg. My review pointed out that anyone purchasing this product should contact their lighting manufacturer before purchasing to ensure compatibility. It has now been three weeks since I wrote the review and it has not been published.

    I have contacted Newegg twice about this. First they told me it takes time to process reviews. Next they told me that my review did not meet their review guidelines: "Product reviews should only discuss the performance of a fully functional item and should not include information about the service of the retailer or manufacturer, mail-in rebates, or defective products." I suppose this says it all...Newegg does not accept reviews about items that don't function, i.e. No bad reviews. Buyer beware.

    Ordered a video card from Newegg.com. Upon arrival the video card was totally not what was pictured. The video card was hot glued together... yes! It was already broken before I received it... the screws were hot glued into the heatsink and as I looked it over closer...there were missing parts along with the wrong cooling fan plug attached... I let them know I was returning it... took three days for them to receive it... they said it would take 5-7 business days to check it over...once approved for a refund it would be an additional 3-5 days for my refund to be administered.

    It's been 14 days and a claim through PayPal which mentioned they'd get to the bottom of this for me...However Newegg still has yet to refund my money. Please be careful...all I get are apologies and I am always given a "ticket" for my issues that are to be taken to a higher level of customer service... Like What does that even mean??.. As many "Tickets" I've been given, I should be speaking with the owner... I am still waiting on an answer as to when I am getting my money back.

    Newegg used to be the go to first stop for anything I needed relating to a computer. They always had great prices, a good website, good products, and were extremely reliable. Today, I would just stay away. Prices aren't really that great anymore, website is so so in todays standards, products can be gotten anywhere now, and to top it off, they now allow scammers who have ripped off dozens of people to continue to sell on their site. If you want to get a good deal and make sure what you bought actually shows up reliably, stay away from Newegg.

    I have placed several honest reviews of the sellers on Newegg and they never get posted. Proof of this is most marketplace sellers show 5 stars with 1 review, but when you try to read the review "no reviews" is the response. I canceled an order before it was shipped due to the lack of response to questions. I canceled the order at 8:00 AM and Anarn ignored my request and shipped it anyway. Then stated they could not cancel due to it being already shipped. The tracking number on Newegg's website and the DHL tracking site both state the item has not shipped yet. Newegg has lost my business due to no making marketplace sellers have any customer service or standards.

    Spent 5,600 dollars on a PC from their website. I look back at my order to find out it’s going to an address in California I have never lived at. Spoke with customer service, they could not adjust the address and had to refund me so I could reorder it. This was on a Thursday. They didn’t even actually apply the refund till the next Monday. Had to wait for it. Got the refund. Tried to purchase it again. Told me payment was declined. Even though it is now processing out of my bank account. Newegg customer service told me it’s not, and I had to speak to my bank. My bank had to cancel the payment because it was going through. And now they have sold the computer I spent 5,600 dollars on over a week ago. And I’m still waiting on a 2nd refund now. Absolutely utter trash customer service. The most insane purchasing experience I have ever had. You’d think when you are giving someone 5,600 dollars for a product that they would be a little more assistive.

    I bought a limited edition PC case that had a dead USB port when it arrived. I reached out to them before returning it to make sure I could get a replacement before sending it back as I really wanted the case and it was hard to find. After sending proof of the issue, I was told to return for a replacement. After they received it they changed my order to to refund only due to lack of stock.

    When I sent them the first message and proof of the issue originally the item was in stock and I even have an email stating it was back in stock about 30 min before I sent the message and RMA request. So they sold all of those, knowing one was on the way for replacement. Once I saw the email about the refund instead of replacement, I contacted support (about an hour after the email). I stated that I was told I would be getting a replacement, like I'd asked, and now it was giving a refund. I was not given the option to keep the damaged case or told that stock was low and I may get a refund if they run out. I just asked if I could get the broken one back (it was just a dead USB so manageable) and they said they could do nothing as the RMA was closed (It had only been an hour or so since I was notified) and they could not do anything else.

    Purchased a desktop nearly $5K in value after taxes and fees. Product did not arrive after 2 days into original ETA with no updates on tracking, so I made initial inquiry which led to a claim.

    No response from Newegg whatsoever. After a few days, I contacted CS again and was told my "claim was wrong" so that was cancelled and another claim was put in. Attendant kept telling me to be patient, dodged questions; only after prompting did he tell me that even if a replacement is sent the returns/replacement period will technically be counted from initial date of order - which was already 1/3 gone by this point. He did vaguely mention that I "should" receive support past that date, but that's just his word against a policy set in stone. I was recommended to cancel the order and re-purchase at some point within the consultation, which would have been interesting because it'd been out of stock for a solid week by then and still is to this day.

    Product has been missing for +10 days at this point. Dead silence again with absolutely 0 follow-up, until the original product just appears on my doorstep 8 days later still with no update on tracking or any feedback from Newegg. 4 days later, I get an email asking if the product arrived and can the claim be cancelled. No explanation, apologies, let alone proper feedback. I responded to that email in detail with my situation thus far, and the response was that they're sorry and will refund shipping fees. $19.99. That's what, 0.4% of the total shipment value? I wasn't even asking for money, I wanted answers and even a vague hint that my time and money wasn't expended to have me be the butt of a joke. Guess I learned my lesson here, not to expect so much when paying your insignificant savings for stuff.

    PC didn't last a week. PC didn't include certain things that was advertised (750w & Windows10) - I ended up paying extra money for a proper Windows10. Graphic card issue not displaying anything to my monitors. I can't even use the PC for work. Because of this, I'm now unable to work and pay bills. This product has already set me down a lot of money and Newegg can't seem to help me get a new pc. Only thing they can do is provide “faster shipping” to my address. Customer service said that there is no other option because “I don't want to spend extra money”. I will have to wait till the beginning of April for my refund. Waited a bit over 2 weeks for the pc to come in, pc doesn't last a week, another week of trying to get help and now I got to wait for a refund 7-10 business days. This was my first pc purchase and I thought Newegg took care of their customers.

Was told it will take them 7 days to investigate. Still no monitor. Was going to order a new pc. Now I know who I'm not going to order through. Now I quite literally deliver things for a living 1000s of cases a day and the company can tell me when I do a delivery exactly what I'm missing the day I'm missing it.     I purchased a Movo product through Newegg, it did not ship for well over a week, I contacted customer support 3 times regarding this order and got different answers. I tried to cancel the order since it took so long to ship. They charged my credit card immediately. They delayed so long in canceling the order that it shipped, I now have to pay return shipping. I would not buy anything from Newegg. A lot of what they sell can be purchased directly from the manufactures. I noticed that the more reputable retailers don't even sell the Movo product that I bought through Newegg.

    I ordered a $1200 MSI computer in early January. I received a $300 Chromebook in the mail. After much back and forth with customer service where they have been completely unhelpful and basically saying that I am lying and that is isn't possible that they sent me the Chromebook I still have not received a refund or the computer that I originally ordered. They said they will not give me a refund because the one I got was from Best Buy and there's no way it came from them, even though it did, it was in a NewEgg box with a NewEgg return address. So either NewEgg or their suppliers are ripping many people off. Hundreds of reviews say the same thing. Don't buy from this company.

    I open package - COUNTERFEIT HYPERX RAM STICKS. I contact newegg furious... All they say is they will send a return label. Nothing about, "Oh we are sorry... We will take immediate action against the seller... This is not our policy... We will refund your money immediately..." None of that!! All I get is, "We'll send a return label for you to return the product."

    The seller has up to 10 business days to refund the money. So I get a label...it's UPS Ground. It's shipping to New Jersey (it was shipped FROM Inglewood CA). So Newegg really doesn't care about what has happened thru the process of this transaction. No worries - I disputed the transaction with the bank... Emailed HyperX with pictures of the products and told them that newegg sold me counterfeit products...and I'm leaving this feedback everywhere I can!

    Bought a Skytech gaming computer for my kid for Christmas back in Nov. 2020. Received a defective computer. Sent back and none were in stock, received a hard time from customer service to get the original price I paid. Did end up getting it. Catch is: box says 16GB, but I only got an 8GB. Now, I just called customer service, and there are no 16 GB in stock. So I’m still waiting over 6 months for the computer I paid for...

    I feel that Skytech opens their boxes in their warehouse. What you get may not be factory sealed. This is the only explanation for why I got an 8GB computer, which was in a clearly labeled 16 GB box. I feel taken advantage of at this point, and that NewEgg uses deceptive practices. I have no trust in them. Lesson learned. Never ordering anything from NewEgg and telling everyone who will listen about my poor experience.

    I ordered components to build a completely new PC from Newegg totaling just under $1500. When I received the box with the most critical components I immediately realized they sent me a Lenovo USB docking station instead of a Thermaltake power supply. All other parts were correct. I immediately initiated a return so I could get the correct part. I also told them in the RMA that they sent the wrong part. Well, that doesn't matter to them. Even though I sent the MORE EXPENSIVE part back, they will not send me a correct power supply until they receive my return. They have the tracking number for the RMA, but that doesn't matter.

    I asked that the "return period" for all components be reset to 25 days for when I actually receive all the parts & was told they could not do so. I was also told the RMA could take 7-10 days just to process, not ship. I informed them that I would be returning all components (due to their error) and am willing to pay the $17 for return shipping. Today's lesson, keep the more expensive part ($150) and order another power supply ($70). Then sell the wrong part on eBay!

    Worse experience ordering anything from them. I was scammed by one of their sellers and then spammed by the scammer. I ordered a tablet that was supposed to be 8gb of ram. Ended up being 1 and a plastic piece of junk with a keylogger in it and it was a Chinese android version and I can't even return it. Whole process was a waste of time and money. Now I fear that they may steal my identity. Good luck. I won't order anything again from Newegg and they use to be a good company.

    I purchased 2 ASUS routers. They were advertised as pre-order for $489 and there was a limit of 2. I purchased 2 to run in ASUS AIMesh for coverage across my property. Shortly after, they closed the pre-order for about 2 hours and when it came back online, the price was $549 and there was now a limit of 1. At the same time, I received an email stating that my order was cancelled because it couldn't be fulfilled. I know that happens but this obviously wasn't a fulfillment issue since the pre-order was re-opened immediately and it was obvious they cancelled it to up the price.

    I contacted support and after about 20-30 minutes they finally told me that my order was cancelled because they changed the limit from 2 to 1 and that they couldn't fix it. Now, I agree they have the right to change the limit but they shouldn't cancel existing orders that were placed at the advertised limit at the time. At the end of the day, I can't stand by a company that can't stand by its own offers. Seems like nothing more than a bait and switch and I don't play those games.

    Dealing with Newegg has been a nightmare. I purchased a monitor from their website and it never showed up. It took me calling and emailing them a few times after a week of it not showing up before they finally started on the process of replacing it. The second one got here but due to life I was unable to check if it was broken. When I did I saw that it was completely smashed. I thought that it wouldn't be that big of a deal since I had gotten the warranty for this reason but when I called to try and get it replaced they said that it had been too long and the warranty did not cover this and that they could not do anything and I am now stuck with a broken monitor while they keep my $400 and do nothing.     I purchased a server for my nonprofit organization and requested to refund me a sales tax. After a week of reviewing of the IRS and state tax exemption letters, they decided that "my application" should be denied without giving any reason. They suggested me to contact the sales department by email. The sales department requested me to fill out a form (which is ok), but after that they told that they want to verify my funds (sic!), because they are obligated to do so under the Texas law (sic!). When I asked them for particular provision of law, they replied that they need to see my card (if it is not a personal card), and make sure that the property would be used for exempted purposes (sic!). I replied that this not their business to control how the property would be used, because they are not a government. After that the ceased all communication. I requested for the sales tax refund from the state comptroller office directly. And I would never ever buy anything else for Newegg.

    In early December, New Egg advertised an LG Oled TV with 36 months of interest-free financing. I applied for the offer and was approved. However, I only received 12 months interest-free, not the 36 advertised by New Egg. In addition, New Egg never sent information for my 10% cashback refund to Retail Me Not. I contacted customer service. They requested information, screenshots, etc, which I provided (in some cases, more than once). After 3 months, they have yet to offer any explanation for what might have happened, and to my knowledge have never contacted the credit card company, or made any effort to resolve my issue. In fact, their latest communication was a request for information I had sent them three months ago. I rarely if ever post reviews, and on the few occasions I’ve had cause to complain to a retailer, my issue was resolved quickly and easily. But this has easily been the worst retail experience I’ve ever had (online or otherwise).

    I have ordered on and off from NewEgg for years without issue until now. I ordered a cell phone and also accessories - over $250 between two orders. They were never received. Apparently the sender chose to send it via USPS, apparently no insurance, no signature confirmation for receipt, nothing but tracking on one package - there were two orders. The one package was never received so I contacted NewEgg so far 3 times. All I have been told is to take it up with USPS. I have asked more than once for evidence from NewEgg on exactly WHERE they mailed the package, since it doesn't show anything on the USPS tracking. I also asked them to assist in locating it since they shipped it apparently without any signature confirmation or delivery confirmation of any kind for something as expensive and high theft as this.

    So far, I keep getting the runaround and get nothing - no information, no assistance, nothing. I am very very disappointed in this company now and if this is not resolved, I will never use them again. I understand things getting lost in the mail - it is common now ESPECIALLY with USPS. But that is all the more reason for the sender to insure the item, ensure that there is some sort of delivery confirmation method for tracking purposes in cases like this, and to provide customer support that is adequate and helpful. And as with every other company I deal with, until the customer receives the package, the company sending it is still on the hook. Other companies provide refunds or replace the items when they are not received but apparently this is not NewEgg policy. So customer satisfaction is not a concern with them I guess.

    Newegg has a marketplace guarantee but they refuse to honor it. I ordered a Corsair HARPOON RGB Wireless Rechargeable Gaming Mouse from a 3rd party seller on Dec 3rd, 2019 for the amount of $53.97, including tax. On Jan 4th, 2020 I received a generic knock off WIRED mouse that I wouldn't pay $5 for. It shipped from China even though when I purchased it said it would ship from the US. I called Newegg the next day and filed for a refund or replacement. I sent Newegg pics of what I received. They gave me the address to return it to and an RMA Number. I paid $10 for shipping.

    On Jan 12th I received an email confirming it was received ON JAN 11TH. But on Jan 11th I received an email from seller, through Newegg, that they rejected the return because it was under manufacturer warranty. Up until then the seller didn't respond. Jan 13th Newegg accepted that argument and closed the RMA. I have no money or mouse at this point, not even the cheap one.

    I didn't have a chance to call Newegg until Jan 20th. They agreed it was odd the RMA was rejected for warranty repair even though I wasn't returning it because it was broken, but not what I ordered. Newegg reopened the RMA, said I need to try to resolve it with seller before filing a claim with newegg. I pointed out that the company had over sixty 1 egg reviews (that was all of their reviews) of other people who had been scammed in the past month. They sent an email on my behalf.

    The seller responded to that telling me the same day "Dear, Please do not rush to return the goods. Please give us a few days to investigate. We need to contact the warehouse to ask what the situation is. You can use the product first. We will give you a refund afterwards, so sorry for the inconvenience." Note that at this time the item had already been returned and received over a week before this. Later that day they rejected the RMA claiming they had already sent me a replacement. They gave the same tracking number that was on my original order.

    I waited the required week and filed a marketplace claim on Jan 22nd. Newegg sent me a shipping label to return the mouse they sent me, even though it had already been returned. On Jan 27th Newegg rejected my claim. I called to find out why on Feb 8th, cause I knew I needed to set aside time to deal with stupidity, and they said that I had already been issued a replacement and that the tracking number said I got it on Jan 4th. I asked what day I received the original order on. The Rep said Jan 4th. I asked how I could have gotten the replacement and the original on the same day. They weren't sure, must be time travel related. I asked for the tracking number, they gave it to me. I pointed out that was the tracking number on the original order. They reopened the claim and said I had to wait a week for an investigation. That's what they said before.

    I waited the other required week. Over the course of that week they resent me all the emails about rejecting the return cause it was covered under manufacturer warranty, receiving the return, sending the replacement back in time using the same tracking number as the original order. It's been over a week now. At this point it's been 24 days since I filed a Marketplace Claim GUARANTEE with newegg. It's been 40 days since I returned the junk mouse they sent me. It's been 81 days since the newegg approved seller took my money and ripped me off.

    I still have NO MOUSE, NO MONEY, and I'm tired of having the same conversation over and over again with a different Rep every week, just for them to tell me it'll take ANOTHER WEEK to investigate and then then turn me down because the scam seller said they sent a replacement, when they obviously didn't. Newegg eventually pulled the seller. They had over eighty 1 egg reviews of other people who got scammed the same as me. They are perfectly aware of the reality of the situation. They are just giving me the run around hoping I'll eventually give up.

    I purchased a Veiu Wifi Mini Smart Video Doorbell by Eques from Newegg on June 29, 2020 and after less than 3 months it stopped working. It's a really long story, but I also purchased a Square Trade Protection Plan which I could not use because the item was still under manufacturer warranty. Problem? Manufacturer is in China. Without even seeing or knowing what the problem was, they wanted me to pay $18 shipping for a part that may or may not be the problem--I refused. Went back to Newegg and they won't do anything because of their return policy.

    I disputed with my credit card company but because so much time had passed in between each contact (waiting for response), they also refused to do anything. So now I have a $150 item that does not work and I'm out that money to buy a different item. I will never buy an Eques product again, and I will certainly not buy from Newegg again!

    Hold on tight people! This is going to be a long review. I am a first time Newegg customer. I bought a Ryzen 3700X CPU processor from Newegg, along with a motherboard and RAM memory. I received the first package on 1/15/2021, which only contained the RAM memory. I assumed that the processor would be delivered along with my motherboard in a separate package I was waiting on. On 1/17/2021, I decided to check my Newegg order history just to make sure it would arrive with my motherboard. Lo and behold! It showed that the CPU processor was supposed to be delivered with my RAM. Unfortunately, it wasn't there. I then looked up Newegg's policy on missing items. This is their policy on missing items:

    "Item is missing from your order. If an item is missing from your order, please follow the below steps: If there is more than one package in your order, make sure they have all been delivered. Carefully check the packing material (smaller items may be hidden). If you can’t find the item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery."

    After reading that, I filed a claim with them on 1/18/2021. I even took the extra step and reached out to their customer service on the same day. They told me to take photos of the shipping box and send an email to their followup email account. Knowing that my photos were over 25MB, I still sent it anyways. I was told that it would take 7 - 10 business days and that I would receive a status update. I waited 7 business days, no status update from their claims team. On 1/25/2021, I reached out to their customer service again, and was told "Oh, the 18th is a holiday, so you will hear back on 1/26." Alright cool, the 18th was MLK day. 4 days after reaching out to them on 1/25/2021, still no updates from their "claims" team.

    On 1/29/2021, I reached out to their customer service again. I was told that they never received my photos and that the claim was denied on 1/27/2021. Really? No status update from their "claims" team and my claim was denied? My laptop went through a BSOD and had to reboot. I then reached out to their customer service again, and customer service rep was able to actually help. I had him stay on the chat line with me while I sent my photos. Again, I told the rep that my photos are over 25MB and I can't send it. The rep agreed to allow me to send my photos in two separate emails. The rep confirmed that he had received the photos and that I will hear back later that day. Ok cool. I waited and received an email at 7:21PM CST on 1/29/2021 saying that they updated and re-opened my claim. Nothing else about getting more updates.

    I waited until 2/3/2021, still, NO UPDATES FROM THEIR "CLAIMS" TEAM! Really?! Again, being the diligent person I am, I reached out to their customer service again. This time I was told that 2/3/2021 is considered the 3rd business day and it is still pending. Ok, fine, I'll wait until 2/5. Today, 2/5/2021, still no status update from their claims team. Reached out to customer service again. Was told the same thing, claim denied. They claimed they "verified" and "thoroughly" investigated with their warehouse and the warehouse "claimed" they shipped it. I asked if I could appeal the decision or get a refund instead since I didn't receive the CPU I ordered? NOPE! With a denied claim, even if you provided your photo evidences and reached out multiple times, no refund for you!

    The rep then said that she would send a request to their "claims" team to further check the claim status and it would take 1 - 2 business days for a response. Not satisfied with that response, I decided to check my review post on their Facebook page to see if they responded. Was told by "Louis" to send a private message about the claim. Sent a message about my claim and what was going on with it at 9:32AM CST. I received a response after a few hours, telling me the same thing. No refund or replacement on missing items since they "verified" it with their warehouse after a "thorough" investigation.

    In the end, I lost over $325 for a CPU that I never received after 3 weeks of running around with their "claims" team and customer service. Please please please!!!! Have some common sense! Do not buy your items from newegg! They will not have your back! You will not get your money back, guaranteed! Take your money and go buy somewhere else! Save yourself the headache!

    I bought a Samsung phone on Newegg few months ago, and it stopped working after few months. I contacted Newegg and the seller, they just pushed the responsibility to each other, nobody helps. They told me to fix it myself, I get no customer support!!! My last Samsung phone that I have used it also TEN YEARS! This Samsung phone that I have used for not even for TEN MONTHS! They don’t help for their customer, there is no warranty! You can’t trust this company!

    I have used Newegg since 2004 and have had to RMA a few times before with no issues. This time I had a motherboard dead on arrival and I have since shipped it out for RMA replacement and 20 days later no info. I use their live chat service and was told even though the board had been in their possession for 11 days it could take up to 4 more days to process and accept the RMA, and another 2 day to ship out. this would take it to 26 days since I shipped the item out. By the time I would receive the replacement it would put any other items I bought out of their return date and if any other hardware was defective I would be out of luck. I since have changed from replacement to return, which would take me over 1 month since I started this would process. (Still waiting to see if they screw me over on this as well) Newegg used to be know for their awesome customer service. Looks like those days are long gone.

    Newegg is one of only two companies I trust to make online purchases from. Customer service is top-notch if you encounter problems with a seller. I suggest looking at reviews of the sellers before making purchases though so you do not have to contact Newegg.

    Once a great place to purchase technology, NewEgg has slipped down the slippery slope the same way telephone and cable tv companies have. Their shipping department no longer packs with care, and a great deal of merchandise is damaged in transit, simply because they don't pack it well enough to make the trip. Their customer service has gone from nice, personalized telephone support to chat, which is completely worthless. The people who man the chat lines could care less about you or your problem, and generally tell you whatever they have to in order to get you to go away. Business policy quotes 2-3 days for refunds on returns. Currently, the chat people are claiming that their policy is 10+ days, plus a few more for "processing." They just don't care anymore. I can't recommend this company any longer.

    Up to recently, I enjoyed making purchases on Newegg. I purchased many electronic and gaming systems without any problems. For Christmas, I ordered a “Glorious O” gaming mouse. It was a gift, so I just searched this title and trusted this was the item I had purchased, after all this was the title on the item. The item did not arrive until early January. On further inspection, this mouse wasn’t even from the same company. It was an off brand sold at Amazon for $15, I paid $84.

    Ok so fine, I’ll just return it, right? Wrong, the seller denied my return and called it a “consumable” I was also going to be charged $12 to ship it and another $12 for restocking the item. So I contacted support, they emailed the seller and he claimed the picture was of the product and that was enough, even though he listed it as a different product all together.

    I decided to make a negative review, to find many others had this same experience with this buyer with little to no help from Newegg. After searching the Newegg website for this same mouse, I found another buyer also selling this generic mouse calling it a glorious O, also the reviews were identical. Obviously, it was the same buyer under a different name. I filled a claim, it was also rejected. So now, I’m stuck with a $15 mouse that unpaid $84 for. Please, do not buy from Newegg. They do not stick to their seller standards, as this seller has violated at least 4 of the agreements they made to Newegg on creating an account. But after numerous attempts at alerting Newegg of this activity, it seems they simply do not care.
