We have 2 business that were attached to 1 sign-in ID. My elderly father mistakenly changed the sign-in ID for 1 of the businesses. I've spent 6 hours on the phone simply trying to get both businesses back under one ID. Talked to multiple who asked me to repeat the story over again and asked me the same questions. Not a single one of them fixed this problem or seemed to have ANY IDEA what they were doing. Final person offered to send me "account recovery" paperwork. This company shouldn't have the right to charge people money.

I have to talk to someone different every time which wastes so much of my time and theirs. I was promised on 3/10 my fees would be waived due to a system error on their end. They refunded partial but have not been able to get the full amount refunded. Now they are backtracking that they are no longer going to waive the fees. WHHHHHATTTTTT!!!!! How can this business operate like this!?! No, I am not paying them due to a system issue that has already been clarified after sharing my screen with a rep for 2.5 hours!!! This whole process has been a nightmare and it doesn't seem to be anywhere close to being resolved other than multiple case ID still showing open waiting for resolution for far too many issues!!! I am so over this company and will NEVER do business with them again!!!!

If you pay independent contractors by the hour DO NOT USE QUICKBOOKS!. I am in the medical field and my doctors are 1099 Independent contractors. They get paid by the hour. I have to use another program to do their payroll and then enter the paid amount (totals only - no notes can be entered) into QuickBooks. QuickBooks doesn't let you pay contractors by the hour. They also have a tab when that allows you to mark a vendor with a specific account. Well that is a waste of time as in the online version it doesn't carry over. so when you pay a vendor you need to label the account each time yourself....it doesn't memorize it like it used to on the desktop version.

DO NOT GO WITH QUICKBOOKS. They cannot be trusted with transactions. We did a transaction with a client for $7k+ and Quickbooks confirmed the transaction and deposited the money in our bank account. About 5 days later they claimed that the client did not actually have the money and tried to take the money back. At this point we had already fulfilled the order so we told Quickbooks we could not re-fund that amount. They submitted us to a debt collector which we had to pay because in very small letters in their contract it does say that anything you owe Quickbooks you are PERSONALLY liable for regardless if you are an LLC or S Corp. This means that Quickbooks can come after your personal assets even if they made a mistake according to their contract. BE VERY CAREFUL OF QUICKBOOKS - it is not worth it.

I am a current user of QuickBooks Online (QBO) Accountant and recently had an incredibly frustrating experience with their payment system. On March 1, I used QBO to record a check payment received from a client on 12/31/2024—not to process an ACH transaction. My client's checking information was stored in QBO from when I previously used their ACH payment service, but I had stopped using it due to the fees.

On March 2, I received a "Money on the way!" email, indicating the payment was being processed through QuickBooks Payments (ACH) without my authorization. I immediately checked QBO to see if I had mistakenly selected "Charge Payment" instead of "Record Payment," but that was not the case. I attempted to cancel or refund the transaction in every possible way—through the Payments page, Merchant Center, and other sections—without success. However, since it was Sunday night, I had to wait until Monday to speak with customer service.

On March 3, I called QBO support. The representative was polite and confirmed that I had followed all the correct steps—the mistake was not on my end. I explained that I just wanted to fix the issue and would happily write my client a check to refund them. I also requested a refund of the $9.05 processing fee I was wrongfully charged. After a 1 hour and 27-minute call, the representative told me she needed approval to process the refund. I was asked to provide proof of the refund, which I did, submitting:

    - A photo of the check I issued to my client
    - A deposit slip receipt

    - A screenshot showing the check had cleared my account

Despite providing all this proof, no refund was processed. On March 18, I called QBO again to follow up, as I had still not received my $9.05 refund. Additionally, I requested that my client’s saved banking information be removed from QBO to prevent this from happening again. After another 1-hour and 6-minute call, I was told the refund was finally "approved." However, after an additional 41 minutes, I was informed that QBO simply could not remove my client’s bank account information.

This experience has been incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. Mistakenly processing an ACH transaction without authorization and making it impossible to delete stored banking details is a huge security and privacy concern. This is no way to do business. QBO needs to fix these system issues, empower their support team with better tools, and prioritize user control over stored payment information.

    1) They are doing everything the can to force me online version. Desktop costs about twice as much as online.

    2) They force updates on me. OK. But I have saved open Windows. Sometimes (not always) they disappear with an update.

    3) Online is not the same as Desktop. One would think it is better for them as well as me if they were identical.

    4) Support is ignorant.

    5) Weird definitions & poor indexing for processes.

    6) MultiUser is NOT multiUser. My 1970s TracLine MultiUser software could handle multiple users in the Customer or Vendor fille. Not QB. Often all users must log out to do something. There are at least 10 common procedures that require everyone to stop & log out. When I complained this is not true MultiUser they reply they disclosed it.

    7) Intuit (owns QB) forces you to log into Intuit...just to harass me. Different log in than QB.

Quickbooks has been very unreliable. I will not recommend them to my worst enemy because i'm yet to discover the financial toll of their negligence on my company taxes. When you call with an issue, lots of people I have been speaking with really don't know what they are doing. Customer service agent number two I spoke with did not know what customer service number one is doing or had done on the issue. Now you start the process all over with customer service number two who as usual assures you the issue will is addressed yet will not. Then when you find out and call again customer service number three does not know what first or second customer service did.

This has been the case with my company end of year taxes since November of 2024. As I write now my employees were issued the wrong W2 form for 2024 one's W2 is short by over $21,000 and another by over $15,000. Note each time these conversations lasts no shorter than one hour, 20min a minimum total of more than 11hrs on these calls.

As usual I was again promised last Tuesday 2/18/25 by Quicbooks that they will send my employees the correct W2s within 24hrs via secure email link and I found out today 2/20/25 from an employee that it was again done. Today's phone call was 2hrs 8min and the agent had to provide the W2 that now have to personally send to my employees. Lots of time wasting for the company. My payroll spent over 40min of her own time earlier this week and was asked to start the process all over again. I will not recommend them.

From multiple payroll holds caused by scheduled in-system transactions pulling 3-7 days early when funds were not in the checking account, to deliberately delayed transfers of large transactions on time sensitive projects. We have lost at least $7,000 in overtime wages, extra administration time, and fees caused by this softwares "policies". Most recently and as we speak, they are withholding a large amount of money past the 3-5 business day period they cite in their policy for an ACH transfer, resulting in project delays and necessary overtime to get our project caught up. Don't use this terrible company. I've used it for 2 of my companies. Context:

    - I have used their platform for 2 years now and spent over $20k with them through fees and subscriptions.
    - I use both Essential Plan and QB Payroll (Payroll is probably the worst one which causes continuous problems) Essentials Plan.

    - They locked my account unless I upgrade which i did since it was hurting my business

    - After I upgraded, 10 month later I wanted to downgrade (I didn't need Multicurrency, nor have I used it, or needed additional users) and they told me that if I want to downgrade, they need to wipe my entire account and start from scratch.

    - They froze my payroll from Dec-Feb asking for verification (I submitted 8 cases, uploaded every week for 2 months) then didn't offer a refund or credit or ANYTHING. I basically paid 2 months straight of payroll subscriptions not being able to use a single feature to pay my employees.

    Conclusion:

    - If you're a start up to medium-sized business, pay the extra few dollars to use any other software. I have switched away from QBO to 3 different book keeping softwares and payroll tools with no issues and great customer support. Anything other than QuickBooks.

They froze everything but still allowed thousands of dollars (over $21,000) to be wrongfully withdrawn from our bank account AFTER we called several times and they told us not to worry since everything was frozen. Last time we called since they don't know how to call us back, to check on getting the funds reversed and back into our account, representative told us 60-90 days for resolution lol what business can shut down for 60-90 days??!!! After 1.5 years of using QBO, I'm quitting the platform and going back to QBD. QBO is incomplete at best and often nonfunctional, basically a disaster. The platform is plagued with limited features, fields and links that don't link or de-link, reports with very limited formatting, the list goes on. The last straw was them not filing my payroll taxes properly and taking no responsibility for it. People signing up for QBO without knowing the features of QBD have no idea what they're missing. Intuit has lost a lot of credibility by trying to push a terrible produce on its customers at a high price and false advertising by pushing QBO and making it seem like QBD was going away. In Intuit's pursuit for greed (their QBD fees went up by 6x) they may have inadvertently opened the door for competitors to move in. I will definitely be on the lookout for an alternative for those accounting products for small business.

Suppliers? The above is the missing end in the subject. I have been using QB for over 20 years for my clients. The subscription price increased 300% in the last 2 years from around 800 to 2,500. I did not renew. Intuit cut QB desktop access to historical data. Yesterday, while talking with a supervisor from Intuit Canada, I heard, 'You must pay if you want access to the data.' OK. It is understandable for the price to increase to whatever level they want. Customers can accept the new cost and use QB for future transactions or refuse to pay the higher price and not record new accounting transactions. It is fair. However, the historical data does not belong to Intuit.

I asked a question in this scenario. A business owner has used QB for 15 years. Now, he/she is going to retire. They are obligated to keep records for 6 years. Do they have to pay a subscription for 6 years to have access to their own historical business transactions? The supervisor I asked to speak to ignored the question or just did not have an answer. Or staff is directed by Intuit's higher management to ignore the issue at all. With the above, another question comes up. Is this a market collusion of all small business accounting software suppliers, and government should check their hands?

I’ve been a loyal QuickBooks desktop user for over 15 years, but what Intuit has done to small businesses is one of the greediest moves in corporate America. They effectively held my system hostage, forcing me to migrate to their subpar online platform. The setup process was a complete disaster, taking over a week to sort out due to charges and reversals. I have two businesses, and QuickBooks managed to confuse them, causing even more delays and headaches. Meanwhile, they had no problem immediately charging my credit card.

The online platform is absolute garbage. When my accounts were merged and bank data was imported, it left me with a chaotic, unbalanced mess. To make matters worse, I was talked into paying an additional monthly fee for a "bookkeeper" I struggled to connect with, adding more frustration. After all this, I decided to cancel my accounts—but QuickBooks just kept charging my credit card! Their customer service is outsourced, and trying to resolve anything through their AI assistant is exhausting and unproductive.

To top it off, when I transitioned from the desktop version, my system went dark, leaving me with a year’s worth of data entry lost. I feel disgusted, cheated, and believe Intuit owes me compensation for the countless hours wasted dealing with this nightmare. If you’re a small business owner, RUN from QuickBooks Online. They’ve turned what used to be a reliable product into a greedy, poorly executed cash grab. I’m beyond disappointed.

I've been using Intuit's QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Payments for some time now, and I have to say, the experience has been incredibly frustrating. The decision to implement batched payment deposits has turned what used to be a simple process into a complicated mess. Matching payments to individual invoices is no longer straightforward, leading to confusion and errors in my accounting.

The lack of responsive customer service has only added to my dissatisfaction. When I encounter issues, getting help is often a long and tedious process. It feels like Intuit is more focused on cutting costs than on addressing the needs of their customers, which is disheartening. Navigating the interface can also be a challenge. It seems increasingly unintuitive, making it hard to find the features I need. Tasks that were once quick and easy now require far more effort and time. The integration of QuickBooks Payments with the online platform has also been problematic, with delayed deposits causing cash flow issues. As a small business owner, timely cash flow is crucial, and these delays can have significant repercussions on operations.

Furthermore, Intuit's communication about updates and changes has often been lacking. I frequently feel uninformed about important changes that could affect my workflow. Clear communication is key to maintaining trust, and I believe Intuit has dropped the ball here. In short, my experience with QuickBooks has been disappointing. Until Intuit starts prioritizing customer feedback and making meaningful improvements, I’m considering exploring more user-friendly alternatives for my bookkeeping needs. Quickbooks Online withdrawals money from your account days in advance of making a payment. That’s fine. What is not fine is they will then refuse to make payroll until the money clears on their end. I made payroll tax to the CRA on the 9th of October. They withdrew the money from my account on the 10th. I assume the payment was made to the CRA prior to the due date on the 15th. I submitted payroll today, the 16th, for a pay date of 18th as the 20th lands on a Sunday. Quickbooks would not allow a payroll submission as the tax payment they withdrew from my account had not “cleared” on their end. What right do they have not to allow payroll to my employees? There is money in the account - more than enough to make all payments.

Their “fix” was that I make a wire transfer in the same amount of the tax payment they already withdrew I to their account. Even if I did that I would have to wait a day before trying to submit payroll again which means I am still missing the payroll deadline. I changed everybody to paper cheques but it would still refuse the submission so that I could print them. Out of sheer frustration (having talked with “help” and getting none I am handwriting the cheques. I then tried to change the employees back to direct deposit and all the banking account information for each employee has disappeared. I now have to re-enter each individual’s banking information again. Quickbooks' demanding a wire transfer prior to allowing a payroll submission - I define that as extortion.

This whole frustrating situation could have been avoided if the team members were better equipped with training as well as not jumping to conclusions and hearing out what I was trying to explain. I made the transition at the end of a quarter so I that DT could do the 3rd Q payroll reports. You have to cancel the subscription for payroll on DT, and then add it to your QBO. While canceling the DT subscription, the site went down. So I requested to cancel later that night.

I got 2 confirmation for the canceled subscription: One that will do 4th Q payroll reports, and year end reports, and one that will not do reports (not sure about 3rd Q) and no end of year reports. Each of the 7 calls was greater than 30 minutes of inefficient personnel not resolving anything. Some calls were 1 hour or more. If you want an on-line software, I recommend XERO. I have been using Quickbooks since 1999. I started with Quickbooks Desktop. I am currently using Quickbooks Online (QBO) to do the accounting for several business units. I do the general accounting and run payroll. Over all, QBO is a good accounting software that is feature rich and relatively easy to use for a person with knowledge of accounting. However, over the years Intuit has become less customer centered and more profit centered. There have been a few enhancements to the payroll feature over the years. Yet some functions of the payroll system are cumbersome. For example, there is no obvious way to set up or modify pay types or pay deductions. You have to create them at the time you are assigning them to employees. Also, sometimes QBO maps payroll items to GL accounts that it creates without input from me.

The other big negative is how expense the software is. It is no longer economical for small, simple entity. The latest financial hit is that QBO withdraws funds for tax payments days if not weeks before the funds are due to the taxing entities. In other words, they are banking the funds for days and weeks before they pay them out. Given how many customers they have, they will be able to earn interest on large sums of money. I sense the financial people are driving the company, not the product owners. As a result, I recommend this product with reservations.

Collaboration and customer service are nonexistent with this company. Nobody is on the same page. I talked to one person who told me to cancel my merchant account, which I'd been using for 4+ years, because they couldn't figure out why it wasn't working. After over an hour on the phone this representative had me cancel my account and informed me that he would call me in 3 business days, once the cancelation could process, one Monday at 1:00pm and set up a new merchant account for me. Three days later a different Quickbooks rep called me to schedule an appointment to set up my merchant account. I informed her I already had an appointment with the gentleman I spoke with a few days ago, he knows what's going on with everything. She said she didn't know what I was referring to and so I set up an appointment for a couple of days later.

Finally, I got a call to set up my merchant account so I can start invoicing like I have been for the last few years and accepting card payment through an emailed link. I am informed that because I am setting up a new account, I no longer get the same rates/fees as I had before because those were grandfathered in with my old account. So now, instead of my $15.00 cap on AHC transactions that I had had and been using for over 3 years, had been replaced with a 1% fee on all AHC transactions. I am a General Contractor and most of the invoices people pay are $10,000.00 or more which means now instead of paying $15.00 on that transaction I pay $100.00.

The lady who set up my new merchant account, of course, has no idea why the original person I spoke with had me cancel the account in the first place but that there was nothing she could do to help me and nobody she could transfer me to would be able to help figure out why the person had me cancel my merchant account or help me reinstate my original fee structure. It's very suspicious how this all happened, and I will be looking for alternative Accounting software.

When I called to upgrade the salesperson told me that the online version could do everything that I needed. Boy was that wrong. I am in the design business, and we have multiple jobs where progress billings are required, where WE have to bill in increments for various stages of design by creating "estimates".

QB Pro 21 would show a column that showed what had been previously invoiced (by percentages & amounts). The online version DOES NOT DO THIS! The only way to find out what is left to bill (per task), is to physically go back and look at previous invoices to find out what has already been billed. This is asinine. How inefficient is this? It was so easy to do in QB Pro 21. My staff and I have spent hours upon hours on calls with tech support only to be told this function is not available. WTH? This was in addition to the 3+% ($52+) fee paid for handling the initial transaction. Intuit asked me to supply proof that there was no fraud on my part as a merchant...Which I did. However, Intuit has refused to supply me with any information. I have no idea if the customer used a stolen card or made up a fraudulent case to keep the merchandise delivered and pay nothing.

Intuit closed the case siding with the customer. To date, I don't know who actually launched the complaint, if it was a stolen VISA card, what the full credit card number is (QB only list the last 4 digits), who the issuing bank of the credit card is, or who handled the case and made the decision. I have been kept in the dark. As the merchant, I am the only person who loses - paying for and shipping merchandise and nearly $80 in fees to Intuit. I have not been able to speak to any of the less than competent people handling this case. They provide no phone number and no documentation. 9. The AI who answers calls will do everything they can not to let you speak to a human and the verification process has to be constantly repeated.

No one can give me a clear answer on when I will receive my money, and I am repeatedly assured that the funds are safe in my merchant account and I should not worry.

This lack of access to my money is unacceptable, especially given the hours I have spent trying to resolve this issue. QuickBooks seems to care very little about the inconvenience and stress this has caused me. Their customer service is unresponsive and unhelpful, and I am left in the dark about when I will finally have access to my funds.

This is gross negligence on the part of QuickBooks. They should not offer services that they cannot adequately support. As a long-time customer, I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with how this situation has been handled. QuickBooks needs to improve their support systems and ensure that such issues are resolved quickly and efficiently in the future.

I’m a bookkeeper so I have to contact QB for all of my clients in the past 10 years, I must say that in the past year it is by far the worst company I’ve dealt with. Their “Experts” are just random reps that have QuickBooks manual and scripts they follow. If you have a real issue they will put you on hold for hours! Trying to figure it out how to help you, they also have their own tech support to help them. I had to call in last month for the same issue everyday and every time I spoke with a rep they gave me different information, every single time. Don’t bother buying their support, definitely disable the option to get paid through their system. They will hold your money for no reason and won’t give you answers. I don’t know how to avoid working with them since their software actually work for businesses but the QB online version is just managed so wrong. Shame on them!

This is a terrible, terrible, software. I've actually been using these guys for about 9 months now and all of a sudden I can no longer receive an invoice payment using the customer's card on file. The user interface was already horrific. I mean you have to literally stumble across the options you need to operate the thing. And let me make this absolutely clear...the last 9 months I've been able to create an invoice, send it to the client, then receive the payment with the card on file. Now all of sudden that's disappeared. Again, I want to be clear, the option to receive payment is still there, but there's no way to actually process the payment! The stupid button to push the payment through is gone!!!!

Okay, so I wait a day to see if it gets fixed. Nope! Still not there. Alright, let's call customer support, surely they have a solve. Maybe they put that button in a totally obscure place (this is the norm for this company by the way), NOPE! I get on the phone with a customer support person, who literally looks at my screen and goes, "I don't know why the options is not there". I tried Safari, Firefox, Chrome, cleared my cache, nothing works.

So I think, okay I'll just have my client pay the invoice on his end (he's never had to do that by the way, and it makes me look REALLY unprofessional, luckily he's a great guy). A month passes, I submit an invoice like I normally do and, I can't believe it, they still haven't fixed this problem. So basically, I've moved on. This company just wants you to signup for a bank card so they can use your money. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH INTUIT QUICKBOOKS. I literally see an option to do exactly what I want in stripe. It costs the same in fees and the interface is much, much better. Find a free invoicing service and use stripe or paypal to process your payments. Screw this company.

Bought QuickBooks Desktop Pro with Payroll in 2021 for over $800. By 2022, Quickbooks forced me to do a subscription, saying they will not provide any support unless I do a subscription. In 2023, the payroll module kept going into error even though I did all the updates. Upon calling Quickbooks the tech support said I had to download the 2023 version. I then had to update for another 4 hours. All this even though I had automatic updates on and kept updating the payroll tables. It is 2024, and again out of the blue I cannot use the payroll tables.

No email from Quickbooks and the error message just keeps saying I have a problem with no other information. I call tech support and again I am told I am supposed to get the 2024 version, which took another 5 hours. What is the automatic update for if I have to do this every year? And by the way, they keep making you "update" but there is no visible improvement. They cannot even be bothered to provide a way to edit the font size on your cheque form. I am so regretful of this purchase.

If you are transitioning from QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop, don't even think about it yet. This is not ready for primetime. My experience: 1) No ability to have multiple windows open so if you need to cross check things, gotta close one window, completely specify the other window you were working on and "remember" what you saw on the other screen, 2) it uses browser cache, which not infrequently just gets hosed and large portions of the product just stop working altogether -- solution, start a new session in a new browser WINDOW (not tab), 3) If you are a speed typer, forget the quickpick option for accounts, classes and customers -- the response time is slow and if you tab out of the field before it has resolved your type ahead, it either chokes giving you an error message or wants you to create a "new" account code, class or customer/vendor.

OMG, my ability to work with the product is at least 50% slower than with the desktop version. Only reason I switched was for multi-user access, but I can't even consider delegating even report views to another person knowing what a nightmare this is.

Absolute garbage support. I've been on QB Online for years running my small business. I bill the same customers every month the same amount via ACH Debit. Now all of a sudden Quickbooks decided to put some new policy in place that they can hold any ACH Transaction that they consider "keyed" for 5 business days. That means now customers I used to bill and get the money the next business day I won't see for up to a week after it's billed out. There is no way I am going to let Quickbooks sit on my money for a week and make interest off it in their banks especially after the numerous cost increases to the platform and to transactions ran through Quickbooks.

I used to pay 50 cents to run an ACH Debit then they added a $10 max fee, now a $20 max fee, and just a couple weeks ago put this garbage in place. No way should any business owner put up with this. I will be moving my business to Freshbooks or another provider. Tired of the endless cash grab by Intuit. Any time you deal with their customer service it's a total nightmare. You never get anywhere and they will never let you speak to a high enough service rep to resolve anything. They all claim they are the supervisor. What a crock. Worthless company anymore. Hope to see them fail miserably.

The online version is crap. And, no matter what they tell you, the transfer from desktop version to online will not transfer most of what you need. For example, if you have your vendors and other charges set up to auto populate, i.e. Shell Station = Fuel, this will not transfer. In fact non of the auto populate features transferred. And, entering items is terrible. For example, if you enter payments in your bank register, you'll need to hit control ALT, N, to enter a new transaction. Then do it again for each. Rather than a new transaction automatically opening after you enter the last transaction. It's full of stupid things, like you have to switch from check to deposit when making entries in the register....why? Reconciliation history didn't transfer to Online...I could go on and on. But the desktop version is much better. I'm sure Online will get there one day...but they are not even close today.

My experience with QuickBooks has been nothing short of a nightmare. I encountered an issue with the payroll setup due to an error on QuickBooks' side, and their support team advised me to cancel the setup. I was explicitly assured by their support representative that canceling the process would not result in any additional credit checks. However, to my shock and dismay, I discovered multiple hard credit checks on my credit report after following their advice. When I confronted QuickBooks support about this, they informed me that each direct deposit application triggers a credit check and that these checks are irreversible. This is a complete contradiction to the information I was initially given, where I was assured there would be no further checks. Furthermore, I was informed that our payroll threshold should have exempted us from any credit checks in the first place.

The support representatives have proven to be utterly incompetent, providing misleading and incorrect information. Their failure to resolve this issue or even acknowledge their mistake is deeply concerning. It's clear that QuickBooks has no regard for the impact their actions have on their customers' credit ratings and overall financial health. Despite reaching out multiple times, their response has been dismissive and unhelpful. They merely reiterated their policies without taking any responsibility for the misinformation provided by their own support team. This lack of accountability and transparency is unacceptable for a company handling sensitive financial data.

I strongly advise anyone considering QuickBooks to think twice. Their deceptive practices and inadequate support have caused significant damage to my credit score, and their refusal to rectify the situation speaks volumes about their customer service standards. If QuickBooks does not take immediate and appropriate action to resolve this matter, I will escalate this issue to the credit bureaus, the Better Business Bureau, and any other relevant authorities to ensure they are held accountable for their actions. Save yourself the trouble and look for a more reliable and customer-focused alternative to QuickBooks. This experience has been a clear indicator of their lack of professionalism and respect for their customers.

Quick books call me after a couple of days and said that somebody change my acct and committed fraud quick. People that were charge got refunded by their credit card companies but quick books told me that I am liable for all those invoices. It's about 60k. They told me that in 28 days somebody was going to call me to make a settlement on the money, money that I believe I had no responsibility since scammers were able to go in their system and change my acct without my consent. Quick books before I could make payment arrangements quick books decides to charge my acct and literally left my business with no money.

I call them and they said that there is nothing that they can do. They have no security measurements to save the merchant if you want to be vulnerable from scammers and be in danger of being liable for fraud under your business cause it could happen to anybody but qb takes no measurements to protect your acct. If you want to make a right choice stay away from QB. Quick books told me that it was going to take 28 days for the settlement to go through and then we can see how we can make payment arrangements. Quickbooks told me that my billing was active so I started doing my normal day to day business. I made a charge of around 4k and I notice that there was a message on my platform and it said that the charge was cancel. I call quick books and they said that the card was decline but the customer was a friend so I call the customer and ask if he was charge and he said he did.

He sent me a screen shot and I presented quick books with it and they gave me the same answer that the card was decline but what they were doing is pocketing my transactions for supposedly the invoices that the scammers did under my acct. Long story short stay away from qb that way it does not happen to you. PS I call today and quick books told me that what happen to me happens to a lot of people and they seem to be ok with it.

Years later, I started getting a bill from QB for the "merchant account" that the CPA set up which was associated with the QB account. I canceled the merchant account immediately by contacting QB. Suddenly, my business QB Checking account was placed on HOLD status.

It has been almost two months and no one from QB can release my funds or give me straight answers. I've been lied to and misled by several reps. I finally broke through their human firewall and got a supervisor on June 20, 2024 who admitted the reps did not know how to escalate the case properly to get the hold released. It is still not released. I am again being given the runaround.

The latest rep today (6-26-2024) told me, "Once your case has been escalated, there is absolutely no one in the entire company to speak with. However, according to their policy, we could apply for a refund within 30 days if we were dissatisfied. QuickBooks charged us $75 for "Subscription conversion to RSG" (Original invoice: **, issued 04-Mar-24, VAT: 220-161-440) and refunded $92.54 for "Billing credit" (Original invoice: **, issued 04-Apr-24, VAT registration number: **).

Quickbooks online is a total scam. Not only is it a useless bag of garbage, but it gives these crooks access to ALL of you sensitive personal data like access to your checking accounts, credit card accounts, they know where you work, your SSN, how much you make, family members, the car you drive, what subscriptions you have. They literally have a camera lens into your life.

To confirm this I set up a "fake" account with these crooks as a "trial" where I wasn't supposed to be charged, but of course they charged me for 3 months before I could finally convince them to cancel a subscription I never wanted anyway. Then there's credit karma... We all want to know what our credit scores are and if our credit could be hacked. I used the service until I figured out that intuit bought it. Then I dropped it like a hot potato. If you use that service, know again that they have a telephoto lens into your personal financial information that they sell, lease, give away and use for their own financial gain. Do the smart thing and cancel ANY subscription you might have that has anything to do with intuit.
