    I have been using this service for over 5 years. It revolutionized our faxing services due to ease of use, reliability and convenience.

    EASE -due to the fact that there are no failed faxes We have an option of printing or working with the document however we like. Ability to access document whenever you can see your email. Comparing to how we faxed documents in the past, Nextiva was a game changer.

    RELIABLE. It has been usable 100% of the time when needed. Always gave ample notice if there was going to be any interruptions which were rare and never affected us. It happened at night.

    CONVINIENCE. I can see a sent fax at any time anywhere. Need not be in the office to view it. Can forward to another staff to view and or work on conveniently.

    Title: Mixed Feelings on Nextiva’s Service Quality vs. Billing Practices. Review by Joel **, DreamSMART Holdings, LLC. Rating: ★★★☆☆. As a longstanding customer who has experienced the breadth of what Nextiva has to offer, I maintain that they are leaders in the business communication sector. Their service has been mostly reliable, and the support staff is exceptional, often going above and beyond. This commendable aspect of Nextiva deserves a five-star rating, without question. However, it's with a heavy heart that I must address the elephant in the room – the billing system. Unfortunately, the billing system does not match the high standards set by their service and staff. Since the implementation of their new billing system, consistency has been thrown out the window. The irregularities in the monthly charges have been nothing short of a roller coaster ride, with unexpected costs popping up each month.

    Take, for instance, the disputed $40 charge in October, which was an unjustifiable addition to my bill. Despite Nextiva acknowledging a $100 credit, which was supposed to cover an entire month's service, the billing inconsistencies continued. It got to a point where I could no longer reconcile the value of Nextiva's service with the stress of their billing system, leading me to switch to Intermedia Unite VOIP. For the record, I’ve made numerous attempts to resolve these billing issues (Case #**), but the case was closed without a satisfactory resolution. This situation has left me prepared to pursue legal action, as it’s not only about the financial discrepancy but also the principle of fair and transparent billing.

    In summary, while Nextiva shines in service and customer support, their billing system has been a source of frustration. My experience is a cautionary tale for potential customers to be vigilant with their billing and ready to contest any discrepancies. I hope that Nextiva will address these billing system flaws urgently and restore the trust that seems to be dwindling. I wish Nextiva all the best and hope they can align their billing practices with the exceptional service they are known to provide.

    I have experience working with multiple providers in the telecommunications space, primarily in voice-over-IP systems or services. I think Nextiva offers a good range of services. HOWEVER this is not a small business like mine is and they are causing MY small business DETRIMENTAL DAMAGE!!!! In the fast-paced world of small pet care businesses, efficient and reliable communication is vital to maintaining a seamless client base and ensuring smooth operational processes. Thus, with great expectations, I transitioned my services to Nextiva, anticipating enhanced functionality and uninterrupted connectivity. Regrettably, my decision to engage with Nextiva proved to be a grave misstep, one that has led to significant setbacks and impediments, ultimately jeopardizing the very foundation of my business.

    Initially drawn to the prospect of seamless call and text forwarding, I sought respite in the idea of entrusting my assistant with Nextiva to manage crucial communications in my brief absence. However, from the very onset, complications emerged, with my assistant encountering insurmountable obstacles in the form of an inexplicable inability to send out text messages. Despite the reassurances provided by Nextiva's representatives, promising prompt resolution within a 24-hour window, the issue persisted, gradually intensifying the gravity of the situation.

    As the days passed, the persistence of this communication breakdown not only impeded our ability to engage with existing clients but also severed our capacity to acquire potential new customers during the critical holiday season, resulting in an estimated financial loss in the realm of thousands of dollars. Despite my decision to revert to my previous service provider, the process of transferring back has been marred by further delays, compounded by an ongoing lack of functional phone lines and text messaging capabilities.

    Such operational inefficiencies have precipitated a significant toll on my business, with Nextiva's actions leading to debilitating ramifications for my company's financial stability and overall viability. Alarming yet, the distressing revelation of unjustified charges for the forthcoming month, despite the initiation of the transfer process, not only reflects a disregard for our predicament but also underscores a blatant lack of consideration for the plight of small businesses.

    In light of these dire circumstances, I implored Nextiva to expedite the resolution process, emphasizing the dire repercussions of their continued delays. Regrettably, their failure to acknowledge the urgency of the situation and their continued negligence have only exacerbated the predicament, further underscoring the perilous consequences of entrusting one's critical business infrastructure to unreliable service providers.

    In summation, based on my harrowing experience with Nextiva, I strongly caution any small business owner seeking reliable communication services to steer clear of this provider, as their operational inefficiencies and disregard for client welfare may potentially jeopardize the very essence of your enterprise.     I have a nonprofit. The sales team was great, then when signed up, the team that needs to help implement their system doesn't understand it. I have been paying a 2 year contract with any service. We have spent hours with their team and no one can get it working right. It's all a lie. I called to find out when my contract is up, they told me only the special team can answer that and need to wait up to 72 hours before I can speak with someone. Waste of time and hard earned money by our nonprofit.

    Remote healthcare IT worker here, so I am a frequent user of the mobile app. It's user-friendly and has significantly improved over time. The new NextivaONE is easy to install and use. Our staff have raved on convenience. Service is reliable and the quality of sound is clear. Round-the-clock customer support is an absolute plus for the health care industry and we can get help when needed. Support representatives take the time to understand and address any issue at hand and I have found the follow-up calls and questions on pre-existing tickets to be helpful when in the midst of putting out multiple fires.     We made the jump to full VOIP in 2022, and Nextiva really shined from day one. We were looking at one of their biggest competitors, and honestly had not considered Nextiva as many didn't know about the company. We ended up narrowing down our choice between two companies, Nextiva and one other. It was not even close, the sales demo was so much more inclusive from Nextiva, the sales rep did his homework and knew the people by name from our company, and their role. The other demo was filled with dead air and sadness.

    We migrated 6 different (and some ancient) phone systems into one, and we have over 30 facilities spread out all over. The Nextiva solution has been a game changer for me as the IT Administrator. So much easier to navigate, we have a dedicated team who are very responsive to our needs, and the system just works. They gave us great pricing which actually saved us money from our analog system, and I can call from anywhere in the world just like I'm sitting at my desk. I think Nextiva will become a household name, get in now while it's still cheap!

    I'm a new customer to Nextiva. The salesmen was great and promised the world. Free phones, free features, free upgrade to Enterprise status, and promised functionality and integration for all our needs. Once we were on-boarded our special needs were not met. Support emails were not returned. My account rep. stopped answering email and phone calls. I'm currently in a telethon and I can't access the portal to set phone permissions. I'm losing thousands of dollars and the support tech says an engineer needs to look at it and it will take 24 hours. UNACCEPTABLE.

    If there ever is a problem it is fixed immediately and it’s excellent support always. Our business is better with Nextiva services. Once, we had a problem of calls dropping and they looked into everything including our internet service. They found out it was the internet and not the service. We don’t have an IT department but they typed out in words that I could understand and then I was able to inform my internet of the issue and then they fixed their part.

    Our company is a small business of 33 employees that services a large number of customers. It is imperative that our phones do not go down. From the beginning of setting up our phones to minor customer service questions later, Nextiva is top-notch! The onboarding process was extensive and covered just about everything we could imagine. Once that was complete and we were passed off to Customer Service, I thought the service would start to decline. WOW not the case at all! The customer service reps are incredible, knowledgeable and friendly. We went from a phone service that was down multiple times a week to one that just does not go down.     It was suggested by our IT guy, that our small company use Nextiva once we switched to a VOIP system after purchasing new phones. I love the software! As a warehouse manager and installation technician, my favorite feature is call forwarding. This allows me and our technicians to call customers through Nextiva without having to give them our personal cellphone numbers. The call is routed through our office and will show that phone number. Our customers would be calling us 24/7 if they had our cell phone numbers so this allows us to work more efficiently and peacefully. I also love the fact that Nextiva automatically forwards voice messages to my email account. I oftentimes will not have great reception on job sites and this allows me to listen to messages out in the field.

    We are a 250+ employee non-profit organization that serves vulnerable members of our community; neighbors that are navigating challenges of mental health issues and homelessness. We've had multiple phone service providers in the past before Nextiva, and had numerous outages, poor customer service (they wouldn't pick up their phones or return your calls when they were experiencing issues). We've been with Nextiva for 3 years now and they are the best in the industry! We have not had one outage with our phones since moving to them. Call quality is superb! They provide support for dozens of brands and models including options that you may bring (we are using Cisco phone products for all of our desk phones and Yealink for cordless).

    The user interface is well thought out, and easy to navigate (as best it can be for all the features it packs in!) If you are a tech professional with more advanced skills or experience in VoIP you still have the ability to log into the backend of the system and make changes that way as well (this has been useful to us on many occasions). Their customer service is excellent and every single representative I've spoken with over the years has had a positive attitude, communicates clearly and professionally, and was able to support our needs as they came up. With the size of our company, and as we continue to grow and adapt as a team, it's imperative that our operations and communications are efficient and meet our strategic objectives.     We found Nextiva after we decided to no longer be fooled by AT&T. Nextiva's price was more reasonable, but the quality of the program as well as the customer service, has made it a dream to work with. Instead of having different modules, every part of Nextiva that I use is available right there on the dashboard. We are a small company but I can see where a larger company would get even more benefit from using Nextiva. At this time, we use it as our CRM, our Phone System, Fax, and Email organizer.

    The setup was easy. There are several options from doing it on your own to having someone do it for you. We chose the latter option and everything was ready to go from top to bottom within a week. We also chose the option to have a professional record our voicemail message. Worth every penny! It sounds better than if I had tried to do it myself with my southern drawl. Customer Service is wonderful, they have several options to reach them. All in all I think if you tried Nextiva, you would be very happy with it, as I am.

    I've been with Nextiva for 1 year now since opening the clinic. I picked Nextiva because the user friendly app, the ability to pick up calls from the desktop app, phone app, as well as from a desk phone, and discovered that you can transfer between those three while still being on the call. They offer HIPAA compliant phone service and a Fax that comes as an included bonus for HIPAA compliant line.

    Nextiva partners with Poly phones which I love, and the call quality is always great. They are constantly improving their app an release regular updates. Customer service is available 24/7 and most technicians are very knowledgeable. One suggestion would be to also create a fax app that can be accessed on the phone. I've been very satisfied and highly recommend it.

    We came to Nextiva from RingCentral. We were receiving promises from RingCentral they simply did not follow through on. Additionally, we could never reach our account manager and having a lot of issues with calls dropping. As our business is a service business, our store front is our website and our phone lines. We begin to see that the dropped calls were starting to cost money. We researched other competitors to RingCentral and Nextiva began courting us. I like the staff and the responsiveness. However some of the advertised items on their website are not true. Like the survey portion, is no longer available. For some reason they won't take it off their site but this is truly not available. That was a bummer. Other than that we are pleased.

If I receive an incoming call for another employee, I can forward the call directly to their extension which calls their cell phone as well.     Nextiva is a great fit for our small business of 12 employees. We started using Nextiva in 10/2022. It was important to our company to have a VOIP phone system that could be used at the office and in our homes. Our company wanted versatility with our phone system post COVID to work from homes with an easy transition back into the office.

    We got free VOIP phones when signing our contract. They are good quality, current generation Yealink. There was also an option to bring your own VOIP phone (pending Nextiva supported it). The porting process was easy. We ported the entire office's phone numbers and fax numbers - Nextiva handled everything with a smooth transition.

    In addition to the VOIP phone service, we have been utilizing the other resources Nextiva offers. They have an app for our cell phones and computers so that we can take calls and make calls. We can also text from the Nextiva apps (mobile and computer) and I can screenshot/export into our client files easily. Nextiva even offered us solutions we didn't even know we needed - AutoAttendant. This is an amazing feature which allows the caller to route their own call instead of talking to our receptionist (ie. press 1 for Bob, press 2 for Larry, etc). AutoAttendant has freed up reception to work on other projects because 85% of calls that were going to her are now getting routed to their respective parties. Nextiva has been easy to work with in the rare occasions my team needs support.

    I had tried other telephony systems but they were very poor. Nextiva is quite the opposite, the application is easy to use. Calls can be heard perfectly and it has many features such as automatic call recording. I can receive calls from my laptop or my personal phone.     Honestly, Nextiva would be great if they didn't constantly log you out of your app. I am not sure why it doesn't stay logged in, it makes me miss a lot of calls.     I have dealt with many companies. Nextiva is among the best when it comes to customer care!! They answer my calls, they call me back if they are not readily available, and they always give me great customer service. Every rep I've ever spoken to has always provided the best customer service.     Right now, we have about 40 people using Nextiva and that is growing rapidly. The product always works, super user friendly, and for an internet-based product, very reliable. Anytime I have a question or need assistance, Nextiva Support webpage is my go-to as it is very user friendly and super easy to navigate. If I call, I always get great service and fast turnaround time to emails. We will be upgrading from Nextiva One and I am excited of all the new features and things that are at your fingertips. Some reports are not available with Nextiva One, but you can customize and make whatever you need by using Nextiva Support webpage or calling for assistance.

    We have been using our Nextiva X-885 phone system for awhile now and it was QUITE an upgrade from our former phone system. The manual is easy to follow, the phone itself is easy to program, the calls are clear - I haven't dropped a call yet and for a VOIP system, that is pretty good. It looks so high tech, I love seeing it on my desk. From the speakerphone to the do not disturb options, there is nothing I can't program on this phone. Our whole company is very happy with this system and we have actually been talking about upgrading to a more high tech phone by Nextiva - their customer service has been terrific throughout the whole process.

    This is the second company we chose to use Nextiva as our cloud-based phone system. The account is very easy to admin. The Admin portal is very intuitive and easy to use. The options in configuring your company's phone system make it easy to customize your system to handle incoming calls. The mobile system is SEAMLESS so you can literally conduct business anywhere you have cell signal. Nextiva's uptime must be 99.99% because we've never experienced 'down' time at all.

    I have been using Nextiva for several months now and overall I am content with the product/service. I use a desk VOIP phone and desktop app and both work pretty well. When I am out of the office I use the mobile app. The service is usually pretty reliable and good for its price. The support team is also good and will usually help you get any issues resolved quickly. There are a few things that can be improved upon especially with the mobile phone app. Other features/abilities/improvements that I would like to see in the future include:

    - Being able to send document files via SMS instead of only pictures.
    - Improvement of the quality of pictures sent/received via SMS without having to download it.
    - Sometimes calls on the mobile phone can only be answered if wifi is off and mobile data is on.
    - Sometimes the mobile app is not the most stable or best at synchronizing.
    - Sending and receiving a fax is a bit complicated. I wish there was an option on the app/account to do this without having to use email.

    - I wish that I could block unwanted/spam phone calls and text messages.

    When I gave this company my money and started my service, they didn't finish the process until weeks later. Then asked me to pay the next month as if I didn't state the issue in email previously.     I run a small business. I do not have a receptionist or admin. Nextiva facilitated my phone presence, management and 800 number. The number of services that came default with my Nextiva account were surprisingly broad. Honestly, there was a bit of a ramp up getting familiar with everything. However, it was immediately clear to see call handling, voicemail, call logs and events. The ability to further tailor my Nextiva system was not required to utilize the system; it simply added capability for organization and administration. The on-boarding training and support was surprisingly thorough. They're nice people. Pretty persistent on the sales side, but also patient and friendly. In short, I was really pleased with Nextiva and do recommend them.

    I use Nextiva as an app on my phone that takes the void of an office phone for my job. I work in an industry that can require texts/calls at all hours of the night, and where people who don't have my phone could get it and feel justified in calling and abusing the access to my cell phone number. Because of this, the Nextiva app comes in incredibly handy. Being able to have a separate number that is for my professional use only and still being able to access it on my personal phone has been a blessing. You can now text as well, which is a new facet that allows for more and better communication across the right channels. While sometimes the service is spotty, the pros definitely outweigh the cons.

    I first found Nextiva when I was looking for a virtual phone for my new business. Of course I did not want to use my personal phone line for a business phone calls and using Google phone number a.k.a. Google Voice was not really a good option because it doesn’t tell you which calls are personal, and which calls are coming from Google Voice‘s which was pretty frustrating and also if I wasn’t available, I like having the option of having a separate voicemail, and if I wanted to get real technical, I look even more professional if I had a robot answering the phone button still keeping it pretty simple because people hate those robots.

    They make it super easy to have a robot answer the phone introduce and say, who do you want to contact me or my business partner press one or press two which I just can’t stress how professional this looks and sounds especially for a small start up company. The first six months I didn’t even have anything programmed for anyone to press numbers but it just sound really good when the robot answers the phone, introduces the company and says we are transferring you to Aaron ** which was me it’s just hard to explain but amazing software service, customer service and especially pricing. It’s been a little over a year now and the company has improved more and more.

    We have had a very positive experience with Nextiva over the years. Most notable is their amazing onboarding team!     Nextiva's soft phone service is just like the old wired phone services but better. We are a virtual company - so we don't have a central office. Our staff works from their homes, their favorite coffee shop, bookstores, anywhere in the world they would like to work where they are sure there is a good internet connection. Nextiva is an important part of powering that.

    My role is to manage our professional services and tech support teams. These teams are the lines one and two if clients have questions, concerns or issues and are on call 24 hours a day. To allow for that we rely heavily on the Nextiva soft phone service while we are at our desks and the Nextiva cell phone apps while we are on the go. None of my staff uses traditional phones, we all either use the desktop or the phone app (depending on if we are at our laptops or out and about). Our business requires quick responses when clients need help, meaning, we must answer the phone to help them when they call. The Nextiva system and software has been solid and allowed us to do that.

    The call quality has always been great, the up time of the product has always been great and the speed of routing the calls has always been great. If you're looking for an IP phone service, I would recommend them (and we have used other providers before. At the time I'm writing this review it is 8/18/2023, we've been with Nextiva for about 4 years now). If you're looking for an IP phone service, I recommend you check them out.

    I recently signed up for Nextiva. I read a lot of negative reviews and I am already afraid as to how my journey will go. Customer service is almost nonexistent and unresponsive. I am trying to get help to set up my call tree and can’t get a call back. I am a private investigator and needed the recording feature and it was not turned on yet I pay for it. (This was resolved.) This can be a great company but they should restructure their customer service and the cell phone app.

    I had horrible previous experiences with different VOIP businesses, but Nextiva had me signed up and ready to go same day which our laboratory was in need of when our previous phone system went offline. Evan had given me the best breakdown in real time of the site and how to navigate it. Once we were all set, he put me in contact with their amazing IT team to help me set up our own phones to their new numbers. I recommend Nextiva even if you are a start up company in need of a VOIP on the fly.

    This is a wonderful service. I just needed something more reasonable in price. I would have continued to use Nextiva forever had it not kept rising in cost. The recordings are very easy to get to, to change the number wasn't so bad. Local presence would have been better.

    I have been a long-term customer of Nextiva, since about 2017. It was, initially, a very good company to do business with. However, over the years, their service and quality of their products have been steadily sliding downhill. Their user interface has become needlessly complex. Their requirements for sound files for auto attendants is antiquated. Their customer support answer times typically range at 30-45 minutes. Their Android app is worthless. It does not ring the phone with incoming calls. Nor does it recognize headphones that the system and every other app on the phone recognizes.

    I have tried, and been unable to, transfer my fax deliveries from a defunct employee's account to an active one. When I realized that I was paying over twice as much as I would with almost anyone else, I decided t change services. Now, for the past week, they've been playing games with my new provider, making false claims to me and to them. Find someone else and save yourself a lot of grief.

    I manage a portfolio of new development multi-family and mixed use buildings in the Raleigh-Durham Market. We continue to use Nextiva as our preferred VoIP service for our office phones for leasing offices, maintenance shops, and concierge. I've been working the same rep (Chris W.) since 2019, and he has made the office phone set up, number selection, and device setup process a breeze.

    I've never had such fast responses and turn-around times for setting up contracts and getting phone #s/devices set up than I have with Nextiva. They are a pleasure to work with, have great pricing options, great "catchy" phone # selections, and they are pretty darn close to "plug-and-play" - there is minimal work required to get our building and office phones up and running almost immediately. The best part is the Nextiva app, which allows our staff to use the new community's phone number through their phones, even before we finish building and have our offices open (since there is nowhere to plug-in and set up our permanent devices until our buildings are finished). Highly recommend Nextiva!!!

    I have been dealing with Nextiva's phone service for a while now, and my experience has been highly frustrating. The issues began with the billing, as every month we were presented with a different amount, often higher than what we were expecting. Even after canceling half of our lines, we continued to be billed for them for 12 months. Attempts to resolve these problems were met with extended wait times and inadequate support. Whether through phone or chat, reaching customer service became an ordeal, often resulting in waits of over an hour.

    These experiences have culminated in a severe lack of trust and satisfaction with Nextiva. Inconsistencies in billing and the difficulties in reaching customer support have made our relationship with this company unsustainable. I urge potential customers to consider these issues carefully and explore other options before committing to Nextiva's services. The lack of transparency and support has made our experience with them one to avoid.

    I have attempted to cancel our Nextiva service, they simply ignore the cancellation requests and continue taking ACH withdrawal. Our contract term expired several months ago, so by ignoring the cancellation requests they are simply extending the service costs through brute force. My only remaining option is to request through my bank to block the next monthly charge in order to rid my company of these parasites. DO NOT USE NEXTIVA, if you want highest quality VoIP and great customer service I recommend you check out Elevate UC.

    Over COVID I transferred to a more remote schedule, and also moved to a new location. What I didn't know before moving was that I did not have reception where I'd be living. Nextiva has been extremely helpful being able to contact my clients via VoIP rather than search for service. Along with the recent updates to the iOS applications, added utility, etc., it's made my days highly efficient.

    I've had issues with the phone not ringing. This unreliability makes me apprehensive to push the number out, as not answering the phone can kill a business. This is not a straightforward phone platform in my opinion. I think it has promise but there are different websites I must log into for different functions, such as call recording, faxing. It's a lot. If the system can be a little more reliable and user friendly, it would be wonderful.

    This is a great platform to utilize for multiple reasons; our company switched over to Nextiva during COVID and we were able to utilize this service with a physical and soft phone.     We have been using Nextiva service since past 4 months & it will be safe to say it gives optimum results. Connectivity is just fine. It was a difficult transition at first however now we are accustomed to their application. We used to have a back-up VoIP service along with Nextiva which is not the case no more. Keep up the good work, I say. I still feel the prices are slightly high compared to other service provider.

    Around 5 days ago, I signed up for Nextiva, but my experience has been quite frustrating. I spent an hour and a half on the phone with their customer service for the last 3 days, but they were unable to resolve my issues or make things right. As a result, I threatened to cancel my account, all within the first week of service. Now, I'm dealing with an "escalation team" and was transferred to the manager of the person who sold me the services, but unfortunately, I encountered more lies. The initial promises of no shipping charges and overnight shipping for the phone were not fulfilled, and the app didn't work properly on my desktop. To make matters worse, I was transferred to four different departments in an attempt to resolve the issue. Overall, I have not been impressed with Nextiva's customer service team.

    Very responsive company in terms of sales. You submit a form and you get a call in 30 seconds. Once you sign up though for the business phone service and make the payment the responsiveness goes to 0. Your sales manager moves to a new planet and is unreachable for any support. He medically reappears whenever you need to buy a new device or add new users. You call the support lines and are on hold for average of 45 minutes each time. The online chat support also takes about 30 minutes. I had expected that that since our business just signed up there will be some support for onboarding for at least first 1-2 days to help setup call flow, fax number or just basic handholding. There is None. I was so excited when I moved to Nextiva. Nothing but Pure disappointment.
