    The Nextiva app allowed me to not only save desk space by removing the office phone from my desk but it also allows me the opportunity to stay connected to customers with a digital platform very much in sync with our business goals.

    Nextiva is a highly-capable web browser app that is easy to use and can actually be fun at times finding new forms of contact information you can add that adds to the uniqueness of each client we speak to. Was having tech issues, and was able to fix them in a short amount of time working with IT to get me back up and running. Great customer service and troubleshooting, with quick answers and effective solutions.

    When we moved away from landlines in 2020, I thoroughly researched all of our options. We decided to go forward with Nextiva and it was the best decision for our small company.     We've used two other solutions at our company and I can say that this is the best of all. From a customer service, setup, price, and features -- this is the best. The customer service team actually cares. They're not like the typical big tech company that just forces you to buy more things and more products. There's an honest and caring interest to support us. The implementation was smooth. We were thinking it was going to take over 6 months to transfer all of our employees, phone numbers, and information over. But their support team handled everything for us and it was a breeze. This is the type of experience I wish more companies had these days.

    Switching to Nextiva was the best phone decision we made. We've worked with 3 previous VoIP providers, while their services generally performed well, they all lacked customer service and support. Our experience with Nextiva has been completely different -- they consistently excel in providing customer service and support. Regardless of the department, everyone is professional and helpful.     It is an excellent application for companies, helps a lot and it's user-friendly, you can make calls, helps us to connect with our customers and drivers when I'm in a different country or state, and also you can transfer them to your coworkers much easier, you can use the blind option or you can call them before you transfer it, and you don't have to download the application because you can use it on the website on your laptop, computer or you can download the app on your cellphone and use it at home or any place, also you can save your frequent phone numbers as favorite and organize your calls in which you received and the ones you make, also you can create a meeting with your coworkers

    I work remotely for a company in Pennsylvania. When our company switched all phone lines to Nextiva's platform, I could suddenly make calls that would show up on caller IDs with our company's name.     My organization turned to Nextiva a few years ago during the pandemic and we haven't looked back since! We are a business that takes a lot of calls and we don't often have access to our office phone due to our hybrid work model, so the fact that we can use Nextiva from our work computers is excellent. You can even use chat rooms and groups to stay connected with your coworkers through the app. This app is worth it 100%.

    Nextiva has been a huge asset for us since COVID made our firm work fully remote. It was easy to download the Nextiva app for our desktop as well as for our personal phones if needed.     When our small business needed a new phone provider, I was tasked with researching options and recommending a new company. I looked at several VOIP providers and Nextiva seemed to be the most flexible and user-friendly. I contacted their sales rep and laid out our situation for him and he was able to customize a plan for us that cost one-tenth of what we had been paying with our previous provider.     We love the NextivaONE application and phone systems for our small business. We are constantly working from different locations (our home office, our brick-and-mortar firm, and on the road).     Nextiva has allowed us to upgrade our reputation as an expert in our industry. We now have a custom auto attendant that greets customers calling in, allows them to choose a department or enter an extension, and advises that calls may be recorded. We now have the ability to know exactly why a customer is calling, based on the option they choose from the auto attendant. We can route calls to the right person, in the right department, before the phone ever rings on our end. Plus, we are able to record calls, which is helpful in so many ways. Assuring every caller receives superior customer service is our mission, and with Nextiva, we can now confidently say that we do.

    In the two years I've been using Nextiva as the primary VOIP provider for the enterprise I work for, they've been nothing but helpful.     I work for an MSP that offers Nextiva as an option for VoIP, and have worked in the telephone and IT field for 15 years. Of the many phone systems I have worked with, this one is by far the easiest! It's simple to set up, easy to deploy, allows for a huge number of options including efax, conferencing, text messaging, and a mobile app. And all of this at a VERY affordable price. If that wasn't enough, their customer service and technical support is ready to help at all times. I feel like this review is still not doing this service the justice it deserves.

    Many great support, this one stands out. During the snow storm, our company had to close the business. Since we never done this before, we called support and they provided how to upload announcement and make company closed status on our call center and branches. Since we were about 30 mins from opening business, support tech asked if it is ok to record announcement by him and upload. Of course I said yes to that. What a amazing support. We still have his recording and ready to use it again. LOL

    We had enough of our previous phone provider and wanted to move fully into VOIP. After shopping around we landed with Nextiva. The salesman was knowledgeable and quick to answer my questions. They were willing to work with us on the price as well. The problems this solved for us was to allow most of our office to operate on desk phones as they always have, but if anyone needs to work remotely they are now able to answer their phone either via the desktop app or the mobile app. So, we're using all forms of communication now. We had a bit of a hiccup during the setup process due to some miscommunication, but the tech team has been great at resolving our issues in a timely manner. Usually within 24 - 48 hrs. Due to the hiccup I've gotten pretty deep into the admin section of their website, for the most part I've found it quite intuitive. In summary, it hasn't been a perfect ride, but I am definitely satisfied with their service so far.

    I am a new Nextiva customer and have been using the system for several months. My experience has been fantastic, and this is the first phone system I've implemented that didn't require an onsite vendor. The onboarding process worked extremely well to make sure everything was set up and worked as expected.     I've worked with Nextiva very closely for the last 4 or 5 years and have been very impressed with them. From helping us set up the system as we grew from 20 employees to over 200, to assisting me with pulling the reports I need from their very robust call center reporting platform. That's not to say that we never had any issues come up, but when we did they were right there to help us fix them to our satisfaction. We can call them and with most companies we've worked with you sit on hold for a while before someone answers, but with Nextiva I'm rarely on hold for more than a minute if not less. There's no company out there that doesn't make mistakes. What's important is how they work with the consumer to fix those mistakes, and Nextiva does everything they can to fix any mistakes and get you back on track. I have no problem recommending them to any company.

    I purchased a company that was using Nextiva for their phone systems. We continued using Nextiva. Since I have 3 locations I decided to start using Nextiva at another location. We started noticing a lot of dropped calls, when also tried to incorporate the app that allows us to use cell phones. This app was horrible and didn't work properly, we couldn't use it. During this period of dropped calls and the app not working the tech support was horrible, it would take hours to get someone on the phone if they called back at all. We ended up switching to another company that satisfied all our needs.

    We have ported our phone lines and moved away from Nextiva completely. I called them to close the account and they wanted me to pay an early termination fee of $3000. They explained the company I bought was on a 36 month plan that auto renewed. What kind of company does business like this. Be aware, this is a predator company that focused more on trapping customers into long contract than providing a quality product.

    I am sole proprietor and I needed a business line. After researching I decided Nextiva sounded like a good deal. I unfortunately signed up for a 24 month contract. After a year, I tried to get out of the contract and discovered hefty early termination fees. Are used to service rarely. When I did try to use it I found the the interface very difficult. After 18 months, I inquired again about terminating my contract. I was told and sent an email that the fee would be $63. I was then sent to DocuSign. The quote was $91 with no guarantee that that would be the actual charge. I paid it. I hope I don't have additional fees afterwards. My experience with this company is one of complete frustration. My recommendation is to avoid them.

    Nextiva will give you great service get you to join then they will never care about you again. Watch out for their year long commitment with automatic upgrades.     Nextiva is a scam. Here's why. This company continues to charge our card months after we canceled. They even had to pay us a refund and then STILL charged our card. They outright lied to us during the sales process. They claimed that we would get their best software for what we were paying and that it would work flawlessly for our business needs. But when we tried to use it, we quickly realized that nothing could be further from the truth. They randomly stole $2600 from us so unless you like being stolen from or constantly lied to DO NOT USE Nextiva. We recently started using Aircall and it works fine. How is it that an entire company of people can't delete a single credit card from a canceled customer? HOW?? And their service never worked as promised and the customer service is god-awful. This is the worst VOIP provider ever.

    This is an entire company of people who cannot do anything right. I'm not sure how they still have any customers. This is ridiculous. We tried to work with Nextiva to fix the issues, but they were unhelpful. Instead, they demanded more money from us to get all the features we were promised in the sales process. This company can answer a sales call in a minute or less but can't be bothered with customer care and IF you get a customer service rep on the phone their attempts to help you are piss-poor at best. They will steal your card info and keep charging it for random amounts and at random times.

    It is like they are just your stealing money to cover their expenses. Totally wrong and unacceptable. Just an overall god-awful company that can't do anything right. Overall, I would strongly advise against doing business with Nextiva. They are unreliable, dishonest, and clearly only care about making a quick buck. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere for a better communication solution. Nextiva is a scam.

    My company has used Nextiva for a few years now and had issues throughout that time. Sometimes the phone would just disconnect and the phone tree never worked, but we would shrug that off. Now? I am completely over this company. Backstory: My boss sadly and suddenly passed away back in Feb of 2023 and I ended up taking over all his responsibilities which included changing all of our accounts from his name to mine as well as my company credit card. That includes bank accounts, security services for the office, and a list of others including Nextiva.

    I called Nextiva because of an email they sent stating the credit card on file expired and when I mentioned I needed to change the name and email on the account (that is literally it, nothing more than that) they said I had to submit documentation to do it. But when it came to taking the new credit card information they did that instantly over the phone. The documentation they requested was quite ridiculous in my opinion. They asked for one of the following: Articles of Incorporation, Articles of Organization, Operating Agreement, Partnership Agreement Shareholder, Board, or Company consent. It's a phone company, why do you need that level of information?

    I sent them a letterhead from our CEO as our company consent and they said that wasn't good enough. The manager of customer service set up a meeting with me to discuss this but then never showed up, did not answer any of my calls or emails. No one from billing or customer service has answered any of my emails still and it's been over 3 months all to update my name on the account. They didn't hesitate to update the credit card which has my name and the business name. I have been emailing them from my company email, verify the info they have requested, gave them the company card number, but it's not enough proof I work at the company. When I called their number, the support person told me they would open a ticket, but if I was not able to provide the documentation while I was on the phone they would close the ticket. He said the best he could do was give me an hour to respond before closing it.

    This is a bad company and I wouldn't even say they have customer service. Anyone thinking about trying them out, please save yourself the headache and find a different company. Changing the main contact on our office security service was easier than this. I am planning on canceling and preparing my credit card company to stop any charges after my cancellation date since Nextiva seems to steal people's money after they cancel. Read all the reviews on this page and save yourself the trouble.

    I set up an account with Nextiva in 2017 as I needed a fax line in order to be a provider for L&I. In April of 2022, I paid for another year of service, through April 28th of 2023. During that time, I stopped being a provider for L&I so no longer needed the fax line. I planned on canceling my service on April 1st, well in advance of my renewal date. On March 25th, I received a notification that Nextiva tried to charge the credit card that was on file (it was an expired card). I immediately contacted Nextiva to find out why they were trying to charge my card (I did now owe anything) and provided them with a copy of my invoice/receipt that showed that my account was paid in full through April 28th of 2023, requested the charges be removed from my account (and that they provide an explanation as to why they were charging my account) and also requested that my account be closed as I was no longer in need of the service.

    Nextiva would not respond to my numerous requests and, somehow, they received my current credit card information (I find this VERY concerning as I did not provide them with my credit card information, nor did I authorize them to charge anything to that card), they entered my new credit card information into my account, and they charged my new card. Again, I contacted Nextiva about this several times and they would not respond. I was finally able to get someone to address this through their online chat and was told that the charges would be removed and that my account would be closed in a few days. This, of course, did not happen.

    I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges and my credit card company removed the Nextiva charges and put a block on future charges. I continued to contact Nextiva to close my account. I finally received an email from their customer services stating that they would close the account but needed additional information (information that I already provided several times). I provided the information and was told that my account would be closed. It wasn't. The customer service individual I had been working with just quit responding to my emails. I then filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in AZ and on 04/11 an Escalation Manager from Nextiva contacted me after the BBB contacted them. This individual requested the same information that I have provided numerous times and said that my account would be "passed the account into cancelation processing."

    As my account was not closed, I continued to request information and request that my account be closed before it is up for renewal on 04/28. On 04/20 the Escalation Manager said: "the request to cancel the account is already with our Customer Relations team. They have to send you a termination quote, which you need to approve and sign to have cancelation take effect. Unfortunately, at the moment, there is a system issue preventing us from sending you this quote. It has already been raised to our engineers' attention, and we are currently waiting on resolution. I am monitoring the case and will be your point of contact till we ensure the cancelation is processed." I do not understand why I need to sign anything to close an account that has a zero balance and no contract, especially when I did not have to sign anything to open the account.

    Additionally, it shouldn't be this complicated to send over the paperwork for me to sign and have the account closed. After reading about other customer's experiences with Nextiva, it is apparent that this is a delay tactic that they are using and will likely charge my account for continued service on the 28th, which, of course, I will report as a fraudulent charge. I emailed the Escalation Specialist on the morning of the 25th and, again, requested that my account be closed immediately. He has not responded. In addition to the case that I have filed with the BBB, I am going to file a Consumer Complaint Arizona Attorney General. I cannot believe how much time and energy I have had to spend just to try to close an account that is paid in full and does not have any contractual service obligations. This is a TERRIBLE company.

    This company refuses to accept cancellation notices of service. They have literally charged my for more than one year of reoccurring charges without my consent, with an **expired credit card** and a "null" address for me in their own invoices. Recently, showing them the years old cancellation request email chain where they acknowledge receipt years ago, they change the goalpost and say they need extra information for cancellation as a poor attempt to salvage their mess up as they didn't ask for that extra information in that years old email. And they still refuse to cancel the service to this day. Completely unacceptable conduct for company. Literally in 20+ years never had any company be this bad with cancelling a service. Unacceptable. Stay away.

    Using Nextiva is maddening and we are looking to switch. The physician practice that I manage uses the Nextiva call service on holidays. The Nextiva call service routinely does not work, and Easter Weekend the Nextiva call service again would not work. After 50 minutes on the phone with Nextiva customer service, our call Nextiva call service was turned on...or so we were told by Nextiva customer service.

    The next day I called the practice to double check, and the Nextiva call service was again inactive. Missing calls places my physicians at risk of malpractice. Why is it so arduous to active the Nextiva call service that even Nextiva customer service could not do so after 50 minutes (despite incorrectly telling us it was active). Maddening we are looking to switch.

    If time is money don't waste your time with Nextiva. I signed up for business and after signing up found out I couldn't use text. Since that is a key to my business I called and had to upgrade to the next service. That was 5 months ago and I still can't text. I have been trying to cancel the service for months with no success. They assign you a work order that is never completed. It feels very programmed and intentional. I am still trying to cancel this worthless service.

    1) My account was deactivated on the first day of opening the account (and I don't know why and the account manage was outsourced to a foreign country who was not responsive; I don't even know how Nextiva keeps US citizens data privacy by outsourcing to persons in a foreign countries; 2) Took a long time to have a support team to figure out reasons and reactivate the account; 3) I requested a 512 number in Austin, the support told me that they don't have the number in reserve (no idea why Nextiva ever exists if the company does not even a 512 number); 4) The fax number and vanity number need to be added by the support team and are not in your Nextiva APP (you have go to a separate website to get you fax).

    5) After all the frustration, I cancelled the account on March 26th 2023, ten days after opening. Since I have no trust on Nextiva, I emailed and called to confirm the cancellation and requested to remove my credit card information. Then on March 30th, I got an invoice from Nextiva for my canceled account - I need to call again to remove the charge and wonder how Nextiva runs its business into such a chaos. 6) All the above is from my personal experience just within ten days - with numerous hours wasted on the waiting and calls. 7) I resolve my phone issue very efficiently with Ringcentral afterwards.

    I was with Nextiva for two years and when I went to move because their prices kept going up and their interface kept getting worse, I decided to port my number to Aicall. Nextiva upon the porting request immediately disconnected my number even though I paid for the month. Leaving my 1-800 and customers with a dead phone line for days. They are impossible to get a hold of and will not answer ticket requests. So you pay for something so you know and then they cut you off despite taking your $200 for that month and then leave you and all your customers hanging. Terrible support and without integrity. STAY AWAY

    Have been user of the Nextiva platform few years, in 2022 Nextiva shut down the app to launch NextivaOne, since day one lots of problems started occurring, dropped calls, interface changes, UX UI very poor designed. When support has been reached after a long wait (200+ users ahead reporting issues) the only answer from Nextiva team is your network hardware, firewall and system is the problem (be prepared to receive this answer), started with rev. 1.8.10, and now 10.0.1 and they have not been able to fix the platform, the worst, Nextiva do not accept they have whiteout & frozen screens, dropped calls, double incoming calls, etc. no matter where in the USA or Country you are located and which one is your internet provider.

    Nextiva support blame the problem to your side, and all the time suggest to delete it and reinstall fresh every time it freezes and poor perform. Unfortunately they pushed the new product without the proper testing prior release it, and no way to roll back to the old Nextiva which if not perfect was far more stable and reliable product. All our agents, and even colleagues in different offices and locations are frustrated and experiencing issues with Nextiva One.

    Nextiva One is falsely advertised. Nextiva is an extremely dishonest company and you cannot trust them at all during the duration of your contract with them. It does not have the features they market to their customers, they have support videos to show you how to use features that literally aren't even in Nextiva One. I don't even know how they are legally getting away with this switch. How do we pay for something, get forced to something that is much much worse and does way less and have to pay the same price? Now there are DOZENS of features missing from the old app, from quality of life features to literally just working properly features that the old Nextiva App HAD. And here is an example of how they are dealing with these missing features and the change:

    They promised a highlight to call feature. The first release of this update we were promised highlight to call by our OWN SALES GUY and 1 it did not work outside of Nextiva One, 2 It's not even highlight to call. It's click to dial but only on phone numbers that show as links. Oh yeah and the old app they shut down had ALL OF THESE FEATURES AND THEY WORKED. They sold people on a new app, falsely advertised it, released it probably a year before it was ready and FORCED all their customers to use it.

    Use a new app that crashes all the time, full of constant bugs, and doesn't have a single feature they advertised it to have besides maybe their video conferencing software which that too sucks. Best part is we are still paying the same price, for a much much lesser service/product. We are paying customers BETA TESTING their new product. Hey guys? You should be paying for your own beta testing on your app. I feel like this has to be illegal or at the very least EXTREMELY UNETHICAL.

    I started a business in December and contacted Nextiva to get a business phone set up. When I called my number, the phone path was wonky...Sending callers to a dead end where no voice mail could be left. I tried calling for support but THEIR phone path was confusing too. I waited on hold and then hung up and tried to figure it out on my own. I wasted money putting a non-working phone number out to the world for my new business. Flatly, I didn't have anymore time to waste figuring it out and got a different phone service.

    I followed the rules to cancel my Nextiva plan in writing but got again charged anyway. I called and was told I had to fill out a contract to cancel my plan. I did this but still got emails saying my plan wasn't officially canceled until I signed another document. I went to the link and the document was "expired". I called customer service AGAIN and was promised the account was closed and that I'd be getting a full refund. I never got a refund. I hope at least I don't get charged again. I found the whole 3 month long experience very unprofessional, frustrating and a waste of time and money.

    As a long time Nextiva customer, I have been down the Support/Customer Service route with them before, and usually with effort on my part, there is resolution in a reasonable time frame. In the past year, Nextiva's quest to provide "Amazing Service" is no longer. Cases are open for months with no true resolution in sight. Questions remain unanswered. I have had to chase them down and gather info in an attempt to avoid doubling the time and burdening their seemingly overworked or reduced workforce. I now either get no response, a temporary fix or push back for me to do more work, but there is no actual resolution.

    Nextiva advertises as a business provider, yet there is no longer respect for a business customer, let alone a business owner, where the service Nextiva provides is a necessity for a customer to be able to run their business and earn a living. If there is no infrastructure currently in place to actually fix a problem for service being paid for, then provide a reliable interim workaround with a perm solution plan in place, rather than making this solely my problem and rendering me as unreliable to my customers.

    This is the most horrible experience I ever had. I had been trying to cancel this service and get my refund. They keep giving me obstacles to give me my money back. I filed 3 disputes with American Express and still have no resolution. About 8 hours combined to get this resolved. Nothing happens. they requested to remove the disputes to get me my refund. Also They want a letter from American Express that is not possible to obtain. Their Facebook page is blocked to post anything. Please read other reviews. This company sucks.

    I signed up for Nextiva’s service on 12/20/22. After 2 months, I still haven’t been able to use the service. Before signing the contract, my customer service representative was very responsive. After signing up, it was apparent I was a nuisance and not worth his time to give a basic response to my queries. After 2 months of being ignored and paying for something I could not use, I tried reaching out to cancel the service. Like others I’ve seen post, their “award winning customer service” was suddenly completely unavailable. I emailed my CSR, no response. I emailed their Billing dept, the only response was an auto-reply confirming they received my email. I emailed their general support/customer service email; same, just an auto-reply. I called and have left several messages, with absolutely no reply. I’ve now had to dispute the charges with my CC company.

    I have been a customer of Nextiva since 2018 and personally choose them for my company because of their features. As our needs changed, we had to move from Nextiva to another company because they did not have the integration we needed. I had my team member make a request to port my number and to cancel their service. This was done in December 2022 and despite multiple requests we are in February 2023 without cancellation processed. I continue to pay for services for three months despite request. I would suggest that anyone should be prepared for a lot of hassles. I have had to inform my credit card company to dispute charges. It has taken many hours of our staff to address this. I am hoping the Nextiva team receives this complaint and tries to help us. As a small business, ongoing expenses while we are not getting service does have a negative financial impact.

    Our company was looking to move away from Verizon and have a more corporate phone system, including desk phones. We worked with several companies, including Nextiva, to look at options. Nextiva promised to be our best option and made a lot of promises related to what they could offer and how reliable their phone system is. Nextiva promised us a 30-day trial period.

    From the very start, it was clear there were going to be problems. Nextiva promised us a 30-day trial but failed to mention that their integration team was so behind that we would not be fully operational with our 30 lines within the 30 days. Though this was concerning, we pressed ahead with the implementation because of their promises of goodwill. Our sales agent was fantastic but as soon as the contract was signed, she disappeared. I think she left the company -- or they don’t care about the clients they land after the contract.

    Our implementation was horrible. Most of our users are remote and use their cell phone Nextiva app, for making and receiving calls. The app is horrible. It was really bad on day one (which for us was well after our 30-day out period due to lack of implementation), and when we brought it to the attention of the support team, they continuously stated that an app update was coming that would fix all of the problems. These updates came, but the problems remained.

    -Inbound calls do not connect on the mobile app.
    -Three-way calling does not work on the mobile app.
    -Outbound calls do not work on the mobile app, and when they do, there are times when you can hear other people’s conversations while trying to have your phone calls.
    -Text messaging SMS has not worked from day one, which is a really big problem for our organization. We have tried many times to get this problem resolved, but it is clearly not possible. Inbound texts will fail to show up for WEEKS before suddenly being in your inbox.

    -Notifications on the app also do not work. Many times phone calls, SMS messages, and voicemails are missed because the app fails to notify you.

    Beyond these problems, our phone system fails randomly and without notice, and we do not know as a company for hours, and once days, because no one can call us to tell us our phone system is not working. It is embarrassing (and incredibly dangerous for our type of business) to have clients sending our company’s Facebook page messages to let us know they cannot call us and have been trying --Only to have our own staff try calling and having the same issue. If it was a one-time issue, that would be one thing, but it has happened many times.

    We tried working with Nextiva to resolve these issues and more. Nothing has been repaired to any level of satisfaction. When we stated that we had to buy new Verizon phones and leave the majority of Nextiva due to its inability to work, there was no sympathy at all from Nextiva. We asked about canceling and, after many rounds of back and forth, were told we would have to pay $10,000 to leave our contract. We were sold a false bill of goods. Nextiva uses its flashy website and videos to appear to be a complete and operational phone system that is far from working. I would highly suggest looking elsewhere and not "trusting the process" that they preached over and over again.

    We tried over and over again to cancel the account but calling the phone number posted on the website will make you wait for hours till you hang up the call. We tried chat because that's the only thing that you can now communicate with Nextiva, still they will only give you case numbers with no definite resolutions. We want to get out of the contract because service is totally unacceptable. Everything is on fine print, who reads fine prints now? We were given a link, why won't they just post the contract as is and easy to access on the same page? Bottom line is we want to cancel the account. We are very unhappy with the service and we want to get out without paying the ETF. WARNING: Don't sign up with NEXTIVA!

    Over the last 3 months, I have experienced technical issues with the app (cannot send text messaging, text messages crossing with other recipients, significant call drops). When I called support for "support", I always have to way 30 mins-1 hour. Then the agent said that if he cannot replicate the issue, he will not be able to help. There was no effort to remotely support me, no effect to find a solution. Then they close all cases, whether or not the problem was resolve. So I have to call to re-open the case. Today, I met a very disrespectful agent who told me that he will not escalate my case after he could not resolve the issue for over 53 mins. Total waste. No regards for their customers. I have lost business as a result of this faulty app. Despicable...

    I've had nothing but problems since transferring my phone service to Nextiva. I'm on a month-to-month (not contract) and requested to have my account cancelled in November 2022 and transferred my phone number to another VoIP provider.     We've used two other solutions at my company and I can say that this is the best of all. From a customer service, setup, price, and features -- this is the best. The customer service team actually cares. They're not like the typical big tech company that just forces you to buy more things and more products. There's an honest and caring interest to support us. The implementation was smooth. We were thinking it was going to take over 6 months to transfer all of our employees, phone numbers, and information over.     In September, 2022, my small business signed up with Nextiva after experiencing prolonged outages with a local landline carrier. Nextiva makes many fantastic claims, including ease of self-setup with the verbal help of their support staff. Nextiva support was completely unable to setup/activate our system, even after multiple phone sessions with different technicians. Nextiva's final recommendation was to hire a "third party" for the installation - I immediately contacted Nextiva customer service to cancel the account. For the next 2 weeks we had no phone service, meanwhile, Nextiva continued to (and still does) charge a monthly fee to my business credit card.

    Multiple phone calls to Nextiva and hours spent on hold were a complete waste of hours upon hours. I tried again today only to be informed by customer service that Nextiva would pursue the annual contract fee AND a cancellation penalty, and threatened with "collections". After that conversation, I was transferred to another department to discuss the situation regarding failure to provide service and a decision would be made. I waited on hold for an hour and then disconnected.

    Be aware there is no way to resolve issues with Nextiva. If you are lucky enough to speak with someone, expect multiple transfers, hours upon hours of your time on hold, then you will be disconnected. Nextiva, its employees and the various departments appear to be structured to simply deflect customer issues by not providing access to any person by placing you on hold indefinitely. Nextiva will continue to bill you for its "services" and then threaten you with collections for not paying. I have since hired a small local VOIP service and have had zero issues. This is my second complaint filed with ConsumerAffairs about Nextiva. Previously, Nextiva responded quickly that I would be contacted and a solution would be reached. A fairytale.

    I have been a Nextiva customer for 2 years...no problems, everything was fine until 1 month ago. While on a phone call, the person on the other end was unable to hear me after about a minute into the call. I contacted customer support and they ran diagnostics and could not find any problems. This continued to happen over several weeks, and many more calls to support. They even remotely accessed my modem to make changes. The audio problem continued. Needless to say, this was bad for my business. I had no choice but to find a new phone services provider. When I called Nextiva to cancel my service, they assessed a termination fee for the remainder of my contract. Even though they could not provide me with working phone service. There are better options out there, ie companies that care about their customers!

    Had Nextiva for 3 years because our IT guy set it up. Worked fine but difficult to navigate the portal when you want to do something as simple as change the voicemail message. When we went to cancel we found out they had auto renewed our contract for 3 years without notice to us.     Recently changed to Nextiva and it's probably the worst decision I made. In the beginning sales person was very responsive up until the point I placed my order. Afterwards, he doesn't even react to emails. We've been having technical issues since first day. It requires contacting support, escalation, several weeks of engineering team troubleshooting just to make it work initially. The wait times for assistance are also extremely long, you waste hours trying to have them troubleshoot their system and get things working properly. And after short time it failed again and hasn't been working for more than a week! Our business with 100 numbers left without phone service! I requested contract termination and credit for the period when service wasn't operational, which is in our case, from the very beginning. No reaction.

    After I shared my experience online I received a scathing email from Nextiva Escalations threatening with early termination fees if we wanted to cancel services. To make it look more impressive they even provided breakdown of possible fees. Looks like Nextiva is trying to maintain customers loyalty by threats but not with quality of their services.

    Now we are in a situation when the service is: 1. not working, 2. not getting fixed, 3. we can't even cancel the contract and switch to another provider without paying Nextiva < 15K$. Please read this review as a RED FLAG and never, ever, ever do business with Nextiva. Look elsewhere. If you need telephone service for important business this is not a reliable option at all. I normally don't bother writing reviews but have no other way to express my frustration with their service.

    Working with this company has been a nightmare from day one. Anytime we have tried to call for billing or technical support it has required anywhere from 1 to 3 hours on hold, often for several days in a row, and often times never even reaching a human being to get help. We are trying to run a business - we don't have hours each day to be tied to a phone never getting the help we need. And leaving a call back number NEVER results in a call back. Trying to reach someone via Chat requires the same kind of time "on hold" waiting for someone to reply to the chat.

    To add insult to injury, we have been trying to cancel this horrendous service for nearly two months. We have sent emails to every Nextiva email address we can find hoping to finally get a resolution. Emails result in an automated response with a Case Number followed by an email at least 6 weeks later saying the case has been "closed" - no other contact from Nextiva regarding that case number and no resolution reached. We are still being charged for service that we have not used in 2 months.

    Chats also result in a Case Number for which we are told we will receive further email communication - none of which we have ever received any further contact about nor received any resolution for. Just to give you another instance of Nextiva's suspect business practices - when we changed the credit to which our service was billed and requested that the previous card be removed from our account, we were informed by Nextiva that they "cannot remove the credit card on file" but the card would be made "inactive". Really? What legitimate reason would Nextiva have to keep that card on file? We revoked our permission to charge services to that card when we provided the new card.

    Judging from our experience and other reviews on this and other consumer reporting sites, do yourself a favor and run as fast and as far as you can from Nextiva. I guess it's time to get lawyers and government agencies involved in resolving our current problem. How else do we get this company to step up to the plate and stop treating their customers so poorly??

    First, the contract you sign does not include the juicy details! No, those are hidden away in a web link. Your contract will automatically renew after your initial term is up for the same term you signed up for. So, when your 3 year anniversary comes around, you will NOT BE notified or know this is happening. Their Channel Partners, the folks you may be working with to procure the service, don't have a full understanding of this either. Next, as everyone else states here, their support is awful! Long wait times, scaled down support staff, tickets closed with no resolution, getting ghosted by anyone you finally reach there...this is what you'd be signing up for. You get the benefit of being their test subjects as they release 'features' and 'product' upgrades that hide configuration options that were previously available. Things break and stop working. You get to call and hear 'we are experiencing high call volume'. Give it a try!

    They straight up CANCELLED one of my client's accounts and put their numbers up for reassignment. Phone numbers that they have had for their business for 30+ years! Why? Because the email address in their system was unmonitored! Not important enough to actually CALL the customer! Not important enough to reach out to their Channel Partner! That mess took us countless hours on the phone with many Nextiva departments and many hours of tech time to set their environment back up from scratch!

    Now, for the kicker! I reached out to many departments, made phone calls, all well documented in their system, back in December to review my contract. No calls back. No emails returned. Tickets summarily closed because "there were other tickets that were for the same issue". The reason I was inquiring about my contract is because we have had enough frustration with Nextiva and moved to another VoIP provider. Finally, a month later, I get a hold of someone at Nextiva who says I'm locked in to my contract for another 17 months! Yes, I can cancel. We just need to pay the remainder of the contract, in full, for "damages"!

    I have repeatedly expressed my belief that our contract should be terminated mutually with no additional 'damages' assessed. I see someone from Nextiva is monitoring this board. The typical reply is "we're truly sorry". Believe me, they are not. They have demonstrated they are NOT sorry. They are looking to hook you in like they're selling a timeshare! They're laughing at all of us, knowing they've taken advantage of so many. They've cut their staff, delivered faulty products, and provided unacceptable service across the board!

    I'm using Nextiva for about a year, the phone calls keep on dropping, the desktop and mobile app is not working, and when I try to call customer service I'm just talking to the wall. I'm trying to close my account for the last 2 weeks, and they keep on sending me to the "right" department, and I waited on the phone for 3 hours many times, and no one shows up, and now they are billing me, I sent them tons of emails, but no one is responding, the only thing I'm getting from them is, that they closed my ticket, that's it, this is basically a tactic not to lose a customer, they do not want to lose money, but it's over anyway, I'm not staying with them. Shame On You Nextiva. Stay away from Nextiva, you will definitely regret it.

    Contacted Nextiva on Jan 6 after seeing a video review from Rich Tech on YouTube. Spoke with rep, Casey, and based on the demo she presented, I said we needed 5 users but, she said 4 users would work. Started onboarding January 13 with Artem, who said Casey was wrong and we needed 5 users, then told me to contact her a new quote, he said he could not continue the onboarding until this was done, and ended the session then. I reached out Casey for a new quote and to date, no response.

    Emailed Artem who had someone send the quote, on Jan 19 (**). Frustrated and realizing that the system would not be up by the date I wanted, I called to check the cancelation policy. Julian with customer care team, said that I could cancel without penalty and he said he was going to note the file, he even asked me to send an email about the customer service experience I had with them as it would help with training. Julian's service was excellent, and because of that, I decided to continue with the service, thinking it would be smoother but it was only more frustrating and more bad service.

    So this morning, 9 a.m, 1/24 I called to cancel and got rep Josh, suggested I speak with advanced support to confirm the number of users, Josh than transferred me and after 48 mins of waiting, the rep who answered said it was the wrong extension. Deciding to cancel, I called customer care again in the afternoon, and rep Marguerite (sp) rudely said Nextiva would charge me $724 to cancel, or I could continue the process. She then transferred me to Alex, who, like Julian was great and he asked to go give me the opportunity to help, prompted me to downloaded the app and he started the set up, he was extremely patient and understanding, and determined that a 5th user would be recommended. At this point I don't want to pay more after the overall experience, especially after Marguerite's ultimatum.

    Called customer care to cancel this evening, and got Josh again, I spoke with at 9 a.m this morning. He must have had a bad day because he was dismissive and told me in a nutshell that they will charge me for canceling and that he did not intent to listen to my complaint as he already heard them. Got an email at 5:06 pm, that the case was closed (case 01630198), guess Josh had enough.

    I now have to pay $724 and find a new VoIP service or resign myself to continue and deal with subpar customer service should my company need help. This is not how I imagined our first experience with a VoIP company would be. I too am having a bad day.

    So, I needed to have my landline forwarded to my mobile due to a relocation. After a bunch of hoops they got it working. Originally, they told me it was $18.00 per month for service. Got my first bill and it was about $10 higher. I know there are additional charges on phone lines but when I discussed the price they told me this was all inclusive, taxes, fed surcharges, etc. I started to contact them because I received a email that my billing has change to automatic. I originally set it up to invoice me. I do not do do autobill... period. I simply do not deal with companies that have that as the only option. After that I decided to drop the forward and let the number go. Contacted them and they said they would do that and contact me within 48 hours. Well, needless to say that did not happen. Chatted with them again a few days later and was told change was in progress and would be contacted with in 48 hours to finalize.

    Again days later and still no contact. Tried again and spent nearly an hour on hold before I gave up. Left a callback number but never received a call. Tried again a few days later, same scenario on hold. Chat went silent as well. Apparently this is one of those loser companies that hooks you in and never lets you go. I should have known better. Anyway, I just killed the card that they have on file so that ends that. I just want others to know what a garbage organization Nextiva is.

    I have had Nextiva for my business since 2014. The phone quality is fine (it wasn't at first - lots of dropped calls, but that has improved significantly). Their customer service is HORRIBLE. I sold my business at the end of October 2022, and transferred (or tried to) the service to the new owner. They did not make the transfer, and charged my credit card for November and December. I wouldn't have an issue if they had resolved it, but I have called at least 6 times with 6 different case numbers, each time I've been transferred to customer care, and each time they've told me it's been fixed, and each time it ISN'T fixed. They simply need to credit me and charge the new owner. We've had

    3-way calls with her and she has confirmed that she should be charged, but now, over 2 months later it is still not resolved. I have spent MANY HOURS on hold with this company (2 hours yesterday and finally gave up and am trying again (on hold again right now). I emailed billing and never got a response. They have the worst customer service of any company I currently deal with. I still have them with my new business, but will most likely change companies due to the horrendous way they treat their customers.

    I have been asking for help to install and configure the CRM for more than six months and no one returns the call, no help by phone or emails. I have contacted Kiersten **, Katie **, Danielle ** and especially Kristi ** who is not helpful at all and does not give me a solution. I have a business with twenty-three telephone lines and with future expansion to acquire 20 more in the next six months and they treat me like the worst of their clients.     I attempted to sign-up for a service from this company on December 12, 2022. After signing up and meeting with the support staff, I discovered that this service could not meet my needs. Thus, I cancelled the service. I was told that the charges would be refunded to my credit card within 72 hours. Needless to say, I'm still waiting for the refund. I have made numerous of calls to no avail. Just today, I contacted them again. Spent 13 minutes with Juan on the phone, as he had to get approval to transfer my call to customer relations. After being transferred, I called back.

    Luckily, I had the same support person and was able to be transferred. Unfortunately, the call was disconnected again. Therefore, I tried calling back. This time I had Mohammed. Needless to say, I had to go thru the same process to get my call transferred to customer relations. After the transfer, I was on hold for another 10 minutes and opted for someone to call me back. We'll see if this actually occurs. At this point, I so frustrated and so glad that I cancelled my service, that I'm going to allow my credit card company to deal this this fiasco.

    System never worked. Absolute joke trying to get it set up in the first place, in spite of the sales rep telling us Nextiva has a dedicated onboarding team to make the transition smooth. LOOONG waits for customer phone support during which you're further insulted with glowing commentary on how spectacular the support is; emails from support sign off with "Your amazing customer support team". Chat support wait times are as long as 30 minutes, and no guarantee you'll get someone with the knowledge to assist you.

    The system sounds amazing, but I never got the chance to experience it since we couldn't get it set up property in spite of many, many hours with loads of phone, chat and email attempts to resolve. Don't fall for the dishonest reps' sales pitch or you'll be where I am- spending time and money to get your phone system back to square one, before going back to the drawing board to find a company that knows how to take care of its paying customers.

    Nextiva has provided subpar customer service during our entire experience as a small business. I cancelled service in mid-December because of this. However, Nextiva continued to bill us, and the recent bill is for the month of January, but we cancelled our service already. I reached out to them December 27th to get a refund. Their policy is to respond with a couple days, however they never replied. I sent another email the week of 01/01, and it's January 9th and I have yet to hear anything! At this point, they are robbing our business by not refunding the money and are continuing to have extremely poor customer service by not responding to any of my messages. Calling them is a complete joke, they never answer the phone. Doing "chat" on their website is also a joke because they never answer! Is anyone working there! If they are, they do not care about good customer service or ethics. I want our money back and I don't want to have to deal with this horrible organization ever again!!

    My organization is stuck in a contract with Nextiva because they really want to solve all our issues. However, issues come up almost weekly. They tell me to call support, but only admins have access to some support (requiring a PIN to get help). So I'm the admin who must dedicate hours to being on hold with Nextiva trying to get help. Most of the time, they have to test with the user who is experiencing the issue and at the time, that person isn't available. I tell the user to call back but they don't have the time to sit on hold either. Sometimes issues aren't resolved because they don't have time. Sometimes I call and I sit on hold for a couple hours and then troubleshoot with support for a couple more hours. Sometimes my issues get escalated to different support tiers. When this happens, they close my original ticket and sometimes I won't get a call back from their escalated support team.

    I believe Nextiva closes the tickets so that it looks like they resolved the issues, which keeps them in compliance of the contract. But how compliant are you when there are constant issues with the service? I've called several times for the same issue and they say that the escalated service team will contact me, but it's been a couple days. Right now I'm on hold with an escalated tier of support for a different issue, but I've already received an email that this issue's ticket/case is closed. We've been trying to get out of our contract since we started over a year ago, but Nextiva insists they are the top rated VOIP system and everyone loves them and their system works great, so they try to resolve the issues like we haven't already wasted hours and hours trying to get help. Frustrated is an understatement.

    My director and I still can't access all of our voicemails. It's critical to any business that people are able to call them and leave messages that can be answered. It's doing harm to the reputability of our organization while Nextiva continues to get rave reviews. I felt it was necessary to warn others not to fall for the positive reviews being boosted on search engines by powerful SEO on Nextiva's part (I can only assume). Consumer Affairs has all the negative reviews that I failed to see while searching for the best VOIP services.

    We tried to cancel the service, as we are no longer using it. Turn out there is no easy way to cancel it. Their website has no cancellation option. I emailed the sales who signed us up, no response. Emailed billing@NEXTIVA.com, no response. Called their customer service who promised someone would get back to us, no. Emailed service@NEXTIVA.com and still no response. I am going to wait for them to charge for next month's subscription fee and then file a chargeback, and I will keep doing this until someone from this scam company get back to me. What a ** show.

    The service was always laggy. And phone calls would drop. I have really good internet and it still sucked. Tech support was horrible. They couldn't make it work for us. Also the sales rep lied about texting. He said we'd be able to text but when we contacted tech support they said it was a work in progress. When I tried to call and cancel I couldn't get through to anyone. I had to have my credit company hold payment so they'd call me. The whole experience sucked. Stay away. I'm still looking for a better alternative but this company doesn't deserve any business at all.

    EVERY time they gave me a number it was incorrect. They said the service was $25, it came to over $33. They replied "taxes". They said that getting a specific number would take 10 minutes, it took 2 hours. They said that porting the number would take 3-4 days tops. They reiterated that a few times. Now they are telling me that it will take two weeks. I spent $5,000.00 on marketing materials relying on their representations, and now that material is trash. Better yet, they sent me to a phone representative who is almost impossible to understand.

Rep Jerome Vera does not return calls or emails, set up a call online, he did not show up. Currently on hold for 33 minutes with support while watching bot attempt to type a response for 20 minutes.     Horrible experience with Nextiva. Called multiple times to turn off auto-renew. Also tried to turn off auto-renew on their website. Everybody passed the buck and said they could not do anything and that someone else would get back with me. They never did. Eventually I had to cancel my credit card and then they even sent me a payment request. The worst customer experience I can remember. Nextiva is either incompetent or malfeasant or both. The wait times for assistance are also extremely long. I am incredibly disappointed. I normally do not write negative reviews but took the time in this case.

    We tried Nextiva for one month and realized that this was a big mistake. Lag time in phone calls is just terrible. When dealing with customer service to resolved the issue, hours upon hours of waiting for a rep to answer the phone and still the problem was not resolved. We have since changed phone service providers and Nextiva promised to get back with us to let us know how to cancel service and a buyout plan. We have been calling for 3 months now and still no call, they will not answer emails or phone calls. Their answering service says great customer service, all of that is a big lie. Absolute the worse customer service I have ever seen. If my customer service was that bad, I would not be in business.

    I missed most of my calls and I could never, never get in touch with customer service. This is not a company that provides the service that they advertise. It was really a waste of time. Trying to cancel the service has been harder than finding a contact lenses in a high pile carpet. I left one phone service because it became too expensive. This was a Lower cost but you get nothing for the money.

    Updated on 12/16/2022: We've received four Responses from Nextiva regarding this review, but no one has called. We did respond to their request to provide the company's contact information and received an email from Jenny ** (billing department rep) right after we published the company review. The billing rep received my service request and spoke to me on the phone on November 28th, 2022, and I only received a response after the issue was made public.

    Nextiva should pay me for the over 12 hours on the phone trying to resolve my technical and administrative issues. My advice to Nextiva, get a management team to prioritize addressing the customer service and administration issues. We will continue to follow up with reviews, so people researching Nextiva are better informed about practices and modus operandi. Sincerely,

They do not have good tech support, and if a ticket is open, they do not have a Service Level Agreement to use as a guide and no ETA to call back.     I was customer of Nextiva over 7 years, but over last 12 month their service went from great to not existent. In October I decided to move to Vonage, and since October 27 I am trying to reach someone at Nextiva by phone, email or chat in order to cancel account. You are not able to cancel account by yourself, but you need to talk to them. However, today on December 13, after like 45 days I am still trying to reach someone with no success. They just not answering any communication. However, they do keep charging me monthly fee for November and for December. I do have at the moment over 36 emails, 12 chats, 30 calls and 12 support tickets created and saved into my computer they didn't respond and I am considering legal actions if this doesn't get solved by end of December. Stay away, use anyone else and you will be 100% better off. Consider yourself warned.

    I signed up for Nextiva after the sales rep promised the world. Within 1 hour I realized the mistake I had made. The app wouldn't let me sign in on multiple devices. Customer support kept me on hold for hours. Finally, I was able to speak to someone that offered to cancel the account. A few hours later someone called from customer support informing me that I had to pay the entire year's contract. Keep in mind, I never used the service. Not even for 1 call. I have wasted an entire day dealing with a company that doesn't care. Small companies should avoid this company at all costs.

    I cannot stress enough to anybody considering Nextiva as their phone provider to NOT do business with them. We are a small business and it was time to upgrade the phones in our office. After seeing Nextiva repeatedly as a “top-rated” company and having a great sales call with the team, we felt good about doing business with them. Then our phones came and everything went downhill from there…

    They will tell you their phones are “plug and play” but I’m here to tell you they are not. We plugged them in and they never worked!!! I spent hours on the phone with their sad excuse of a support team to not get anywhere. All they did was tell me to reboot the phone over and over and over again. It was the biggest waste of time. I asked if they could physically send someone out to help and they wouldn’t. We even brought in our own IT company to get on the phone with Nextiva to get the phones up and running…still no luck.

    Then, we sought out another company to get phones through. This new company came by, plugged in their phones and guess what! They worked immediately! After that, it was clear to us that the Nextiva phones were a complete sham. We spoke to a rep at Nextiva who said we had a great case for cancellation and then she came back a week later and said our cancellation request had been rejected and that we needed to pay for the phones that don’t work. We. Were. Livid.

    So after coming to the realization we had been played, we dug way deeper into online reviews. Which by the way, seem to have disappeared since then. Their Google reviews had tons of 1 star ratings which you can’t find now. There were many instances of people saying that Nextiva was continuing to charge their card after cancellation. If that doesn’t scream that this is a scam, I don’t know what does. Also, do not be fooled by their A+ rating on the BBB. They only have that because they respond to each review with a bogus response making it look like they care. I highly advise you to avoid this company at all costs! I hope this review saves you the time, stress, and headaches that I wish we could have avoided!

    It's really too bad as I liked the service. Ultimately, we chose a different solution and I'm glad we did. After 3 months of trying to cancel and waiting on hold for many hours, it's still not done. Callback numbers weren't called back. Supposed cancellation quote was never sent which is "their policy in order to cancel" ... guess what... didn't receive it. So, here we are 3 months later still trying to cancel. Beware - it's like joining a gym, you'll never be able to cancel.

    We signed contract for Nextiva on November 2, 2022 and to date the services do not work. We call every single day trying to get assistance. Each call lasts 4-6 hours. I am a small business owner. Being on the phone with Nextiva 4-10 hours per day is exhaustive and loss of business. You can never reach anyone. Their online chat doesn't work. I've paid for features and services that we do not have almost a month later. Our account rep doesn't respond. This is the worst service we have ever received. We have tried communicating via social media and that doesn't work either.

    We have used Nextiva for about 18 months when we decided to cancel and get one office cell phone, as we aren't large enough for multi phone service. I called and canceled in September to avoid billing in October, and have now been billed for October, Nov and Dec. Each month I have called and spent hours on hold, receiving emails confirming we were canceled, but one month later, we are billed again. It is a complete runaround to try and wear you down. They are kind and helpful on the phone, but nothing changes. Even after providing multiple forms of proof, here I am sitting on hold again for the third month and never receiving a refund. NOT WORTH IT.

    It is impossible to get help or in contact with any real person. The live chat is limited. I'm referred to an email or to submit a 'support ticket,' the wait time by phone is an hour & then you're disconnected mid wait. Impossibly frustrating.     We decided to try Nextiva's VOIP platform with a couple of lines before moving our entire company to their VOIP system. We had issues right away and decided to cancel as we were on a month to month contract. On 10/12 I emailed our Nextiva account manager and he gave us the service@nextiva email address to email to start the cancellation process. We did not hear back so emailed again and no response. Our account manager said there was an upgrade done causing delays and to call the customer care number. I called many times over the past couple of months/waiting for hours, tried leaving messages and no return calls and no one picked up.

    WE KEEP getting CHARGED every month even though we haven't used the lines since 10/12 and have tried every effort to cancel. So we are unable to CANCEL!!! TERRIBLE experience and our Nextiva account manager no longer responds. DO NOT Recommend NEXTIVA and passing along my experience to everyone in my CEO and leadership network.

    The customer service is absolutely horrible. Choose another company. I have been requesting licenses be removed for over 2 months but I am STILL paying for the service. For the amount of time you'll spend going round and round with support members and being on hold, you are better off spending a little more for better service.

    I have been using Nextiva for about 5 years. Phone service is good. Some issues, but they were usually resolved. (getting to support can take a long time) Now they are upgrading their desktop app to a new version NextivaOne. When you upgrade they try to move your stored contacts to the new version. The problem is that they only port "Personal Phone Number" to the new app.

    To clarify: When you create a contact in the current app you can enter Display Name, First Name, Last Name, Work Phone, Extension, Mobile Phone, Personal Phone and more. They only port "Display Name" and "Personal Phone" (the last phone number in the form). They don't port "Work Phone" (the first phone number in the form) All my personal phone numbers are blank. This means that it ports Display Name, but no phone number. This is a phone app.

    They are unwilling to create a utility to export contacts. They are unwilling to add a little code to the port that would find one phone number if "Personal Phone" is blank (this is supposed to be a business application, why would I have only personal phone numbers?). I contacted their support. They maintain that there is "NO WAY" to do this. Really? It is perhaps a dozen lines of code to copy a different phone number if "Personal Phone" is blank. If I have to re-enter all my contacts, perhaps it is time to go shopping for a better VOIP service.

    Buyer beware!!! Nextiva sold me hard. Gave them a chance. Sales rep even gave me his personal number. Once he got the sale never answered my calls. Took me days to finally get a working account then when I wanted to cancel no matter how many people I talked to I couldn't cancel. They would put me on hold, hang up on me. Read the rest of the comments. Try to find a positive review. This company is horrible. They are thieves. Charged me for 5 accounts when I wanted only one. Never let me cancel. Stay away from Nextiva. Don't spend your hard earned money.

    The product is not bad for what you pay, but when an issue arises, it is impossible to reach a person at customer support. The bot is not very helpful and I have been trying to reach somebody for more than 2 hours now - on hold. Worst customer service ever! It used to be good when they had agents in Ukraine assisting customers, but now you just can't reach anybody and the tutorials don't provide sufficient answers.

    11/21/22 - We have been trying to cancel our Nextiva account since OCT 25th, get zero responses back from anyone, yet we continue to be billed for service. This is by far the worst company I HAVE EVER done business with. I spent an unbelievable amount of time trying to address the setup and product service issues immediately after signing the agreement & switched to RingCentral (recommended) due to the awful service that was provided by Nextiva.

    Since porting our numbers to RingCentral, I spend a minimum of approximately 4-5hrs a week going back and forth with Nextiva through their "customer service" chat, calling every number I can find just to sit on hold for at least an hour before anyone even answers. So much time and energy has been spent on hold or talking with numerous customer services reps (ALL of which aren't able to help resolve anything) and I just can't believe they are legally allowed to be in business like this. Absolutely the most frustrating experience with any company EVER!

    If you are researching Nextiva, move on to the next option. I have to contact them anytime I need to use the web app. Unfortunately, CS takes at least 1 hour and then after explaining the issue I end up getting pulled to a meeting so it doesn't get resolved. I wish the platform just worked as advertised and then there would be no complaints. The product not working and requiring support makes me less productive. I feel bad for support, they are supporting a product that constantly fails.

    Nextiva is an absolute scam, hands down. I own a copywriting agency and was seeking a toll-free number that all my clients around the world could call internationally. From the very beginning, this company has been a nightmare. I was told by some representative working from home, that I was signing up for a no-contract service with no commitments. So, I tried the service for a month, and when I discovered things about it I didn’t like, I attempted to cancel so I could switch to another provider. NOPE! Nextiva made it IMPOSSIBLE to cancel their service. Numerous emails were sent with no reply; HOURS on hold; and charges kept coming through on my card twice a day!

    I even had to freeze my debit card because Nextiva kept sending through bogus charges every single day, despite numerous attempts to cancel their service. When you call, if you even get through to someone, you get a representative who halfway cares and makes excuses, places you on hold for an unnecessarily long time, and tries everything to avoid actually canceling your account — and not in a good, salesmanship sort of way. Nextiva is the literal worst and I really regret signing up with them. Do not trust the good reviews on other sites. I am on a mission to let everyone know how sketchy and awful this company is, so you can bet I’ll be posting this review on every platform I can find. Don’t make the same mistake I did! AVOID Nextiva at all costs!!!

    I used Nextiva for two years despite its high cost because it had recording options which I used for a while. After they updated the software it became more trouble to use than it was worth, so I ported my number to a different service and canceled Nextiva - or tried to. That was two months ago and I continue to be charged despite multiple contacts via phone, chat and email. I've received no response from the company to my cancellation request or my requests to get charges refunded after canceling. Now I have to have my credit card company start refusing the charges and filing to get my money back through them.

    I don’t even know what to do at the point, but seeing as how they answer people on here, I’m using it as a last resort. I have been having one million and one troubleshooting issues with this company. I used the chat to try to resolve what I thought was the simplest one. 38 emails and almost a month later, my issue is unresolved and actually worse than when they first tried to “resolve it”. I get a once a day reply, if that, letting me know I’m all set and good to go, although I have continuously told them the problem still exists. I gave up and tried to call the customer service line - good luck trying to get someone to pick up. Endless hold music and that’s it. I’m actually LOSING business as my entire business is run via phones.

    At this point, I need to find a different phone provider & cancel my contract. I also refuse to pay out the entire contract, as I just started using them and they have not delivered the service they promised they would. At a loss for words - they’re very quick to sell you on the service then absolutely absent when you need the service to actually work.

    Please don't do it, this service is a NIGHTMARE, you will sit on hold for hours trying to get through to Technical Support.     Where to begin with the nightmare that is the Nextiva company? This company is clearly a bait-and-switch scam and they should not be allowed to operate. If you are considering Nextiva and you are reading this review... RUN while you can!! I am a medical practice manager and Nextiva has been an absolute nightmare for us. We have had issues since day one with this company and months later, are still fighting on a daily basis to try to get an answer from the "escalated" customer relations team on our refund and resolution to the current phone issues we still have.

    It all started with our interaction with salesperson Leif P. who listened to our needs and concerns, sold us a package that did not exist, dropped us on the support team to set up a system that was not listed in the contract that he drafted, and then he fell off the face of the earth. After countless hours, and I do mean COUNTLESS hours (an average of 6 hours daily, for several weeks), with both the local Pheonix support techs and the outsourced techs in Ukraine, we are still trying to get the simple setup we were promised and need in order to function as a business.

    It takes about 3 hours average to even reach a technician - so if your phone lines are not functioning, good luck. There will be 150- 200 people ahead of you every time you try to go to the online chat. If your contract doesn't reflect what it should- best of luck to you- the techs can't do anything for you and they can't transfer you to sales either. What they will do, is offer to put in a ticket, and then you'll never hear back from them. Even most of the fixes the technicians do provide, seem to reverse or switch back a day or two later resulting in having to call the tech dept several times a week for the same issue.

    After multiple complaints, tickets and emails to anyone we could get to at Nextiva, we were told our case would be escalated to customer relations. Be warned: if your case is escalated- your ticket will be transferred to the customer relations department but it will be handled with the same lack of care, efficiency and attention as the previous tickets. The customer relations department will ignore you, even the managers.

    I am supposedly in contact with the manager of customer relations, Machelle C., but she has not consistently returned my calls or emails and it has been over a month since the ticket was sent to her to handle. I have called and emailed her on a daily basis for months and she responds at random without explanation of current status or any progress updates. Meanwhile, Nextiva is still charging us a much higher rate than we agreed to and our phones do not function properly. As a business that has lost revenue as a result of these phones, we fully expect to hold Nextiva accountable for our loss of revenue.

    I am posting this review as a last attempt to get someone's attention at Nextiva to help resolve these issues, as we want nothing more than to have a normal functioning phone system like we did prior to working with Nextiva and to move on with our lives. As a manager, I have set up multiple phone systems in my career and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. Let this be a forewarning to all of you reviewing these comments. It is not coincidental that all of these review consist of the same complaints. This company is an absolute SCAM.

    I’ve been with many companies and done many consulting for the restaurant industry, Of all the phone services I’ve experienced over the years this has been the worst I have ever seen, I cannot believe they are rated so highly when all I hear from everybody who’s experienced is negative never a positive review. My experience was horrible and I’m not exaggerating that I’m trying to be realistic.

    There are many examples I can give such as the delay when you pick up the phone to when it actually connects is anywhere from three seconds to seven seconds so if you talk before then they can’t hear you. You would answer the phone and you cannot hear the people who are calling in or they cannot hear you so we have to ask them always to please call back if you can hear us. I have addressed this with the company numerous times they would fix it for about 2 to 3 days and then it will go back to the same thing. Customer service expect to be on hold for a minimum of an hour I am presently on hold for 2+ hours which is absolutely ridiculous. When I can sultan are used to recommend different phone systems POS systems and music systems but most of the companies that have dealt with Nextiva have I’ve never had a good experience with them and ask me what company I should go with.

    Unfortunately I looked them up and they were rated highly so I gave them a try to see how they would do Big Big mistake. And if you expect them to stop billing after you close the account good luck like I said I’m on hold for 2 1/2 hours now and this has been going on for almost 2 month. My advice if you are with them is get off auto pay and off auto debit and write manual checks to them every month. That way you can stop at it anytime without dealing with them. Don’t be kind into the discount just to get the auto pay it is not worth it.

    My salesman who is what is now one of the higher up executives talk me into buying extra phones on Amazon to complement the ones they give you, unfortunately they don’t work with their system (he even told me the model number to get) and there is no way to get a ring amplifier so you can hear it better when you’re working in a business such as a restaurant where it’s very difficult to hear with a lot of noise. I could go on and on but I think you get the idea. Stay away from NEXTIVA. You won’t regret it!!

    It has been a terrible experience from the beginning. Very slick presentations and promises but the result is they cannot deliver. Our customers are very upset because we are not getting voicemails, sometimes phone clarity is bad, calls being dropped. Lastly we were looking for a robust phone system with reports and they have not been able to deliver. We are in the process of trying to cancel but even that has been difficult. Unfortunately they have your phone number and won’t release it to someone else so you are somewhat held captive which is crazy. Hoping this gets resolved quickly. Customers are leaving us and the financial impacts have been devastating.

    August 2022 - Was sold hard on how great the service would be on the sales call. This included a promise that I could send back the desk phone if I didn't like it. What he didn't tell me is that I can send it back, after payment of their penalty fee. The desk phone never worked, EVER. It could not be provisioned. That was just the beginning. We were never able to properly use the phone service because of the dropped calls, interrupted service, frozen app during calls, constant need to reset passwords on the desktop, inability to retrieve voicemails, inability to answer the phone on the phone app. I had to get new service because it was killing my business. I have already ported the number.

    I called and recorded HOURS of attempts to cancel this service. Be prepared to go into an on-hold abyss that you may never recover from. There is an option to "call back." However, with the two attempts to call me back (after four requests) it was apparent that when they call me back (on my cell), it goes DIRECTLY to my Nextiva voicemail. The Nextiva voicemail that is no longer hooked to my business phone. Today, after two hours and three dropped calls with support, I finally spoke to Diana who informed me that in order for me to cancel my contract, I would have to pay a penalty of OVER $2000, FIRST. When I asked to speak to someone about it, she took down my number and said someone would call 24-48 hours. I note on their own website blog, they have a press release NEXTIVA PROMISES NO CONTRACTS OR CANCELLATION FEES.

    I cancelled and was told it was cancelled then got another bill. I called and they said account was active and would send me to the Retention Dept. Now an hour later I am on hold! **! I imagine they are losing business and making it difficult on consumers who had signed up in good faith. Shame on you Nextiva!!!

    I really don't like leaving bad reviews but this one just couldn't be left unsaid. This company is trash, the customer service is a non existent joke, there is always some excuse from outside factors that are not their fault causing the issues/outages. We have been down 4 times in 2 weeks and 12 times in 3 months. We are in the process of jumping ship and moving to a different platform. Avoid at all costs!

    First of all going on their website to view prices and services is so frustrating because there is an annoying chat box that appears on the right side of the screen that you can not delete and it enables your view, so you are forced to input your contact information for someone to contact you. At this point you get an actual human to speak with you but as soon as I signed the documents and paid for my service all questions and concerns fell on deaf ears. The number I chose and paid for was not even the number I received. They gave me some random number and I was unable to change it. I tried calling someone but you have to send emails and submit tickets that still have yet to be answered.

    This was the worse experience and I just want to cancel my service and move on to another company who cares about their customers. Unfortunately no one has reached out or even called me back to assist. They hold you hostage and it is completely frustrating to have to be treated this way after you have paid your money. I have a phone number I can not use and my card is on file and I am unable to even cancel the service. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

    Implementation will take over a month, do not sign up for the "free" trial. The software is very buggy, you cannot edit anything on their website. Nextiva App freezes/drops calls often. Porting existing phone number can take up to 2 weeks and Nextiva will not refund. Customer Service is a joke, cannot get through. Will have to wait min. 40 minutes.

    Hours for Support - Nonworking Platform - Unhelpful "Support". I'm writing this review while I'm on hold, yet again, for hours for support. The Live Chat says I'm number 183 in line. I'm contemporaneously on hold for telephone support going on 45 minutes now. This is not the first time I've been to this hold/no support rodeo with Nextiva, and I've been with Nextiva for less than a month. The first issue was with connecting my VOIP phone purchased from Nextiva. After hours on hold (the telephone support eventually responded first), I spent hours working with various persons and being transferred to multiple persons who had no idea how to help set up my phone. I finally ended up with a supervisor who gave up and told me to call back the next day.

    I eventually figured out the issue after doing research using Google. Unfortunately, I had to call Nextiva to get their approval codes to connect the phone. The phone is only partially working, but I didn't have the time or energy to deal with Nextiva again on this issue. Today, the platform decided not to work. It's been hours, and I cannot use my phone number. When I finally got through to telephone support (still on hold with chat support), the Nextiva support agent said the platform was not working for her and that they were "working on it." The agent could not tell me when the Nextiva platform would be repaired, only that it would take several more hours. I switched to Nextiva after reading good reviews on another platform. I wish I had never heard of them and will be changing again. What a waste of my time and money!

    Saying this is the worst onboarding experience I have ever had when switching services with a company is saying a lot but this has truly been a horrible experience. My onboarding "Implementation Manager" argued their errors in setup are my fault (it's been almost three months and they cannot still get the service started correctly) despite the fact that what they alleged I gave in instructions is how my phones have never operated. It's been almost three months with countless wasted hours trying to have them troubleshoot their system and get things working properly in addition to paying my own tech people to communicate with theirs in an attempt to make the implementation go more smoothly (still not working).

    They do not send equipment they claim they have then bill me to ship it again. I went through the same instructions several times as to call flow and forwarding yet it still was not setup properly, and then the phones went live without warning and were not functioning properly (some were going to voice mail which was not setup, despite assurances that my lines would never go to voice mail even though voice mail was showing as an option on my account) with most lines ringing (never into the actual office) and then going to dead airspace. I lost business with no one able reach us due to Nextiva. Nextiva has done nothing to compensate me for all my lost time and lost business and instead I have an Implementation Manager who is curt and argumentative.

    1. Our phones... Which were their own model.

    2. The internet.. Which works perfectly.

    Please take my word and use any other company, unless you enjoy
    1. Service which works 20% of the time.
    2. Inept technical help.

    3. Customer service which talks to you as if you are an annoyance.

    I signed up for an initial 12 month term of service. Assumed that the contract would revert to month-to-month after that point. Turns out, the renewal term is buried in the "terms and conditions" and was for another full year. I had to pay an early termination fee to cancel the service. Pay close attention not only to the service agreement, but also the terms and conditions referenced by the agreement. Lesson learned on my part. I would not recommend Nextiva compared to many of the other providers in the market. Their cost is very high and other providers are much more willing to only bill for what you use and don't bury important details in a terms and conditions document. Nextiva offered zero help with porting my phone number and it was nearly impossible to get someone on the phone to help cancel the service.

    Hello everyone, eventually after almost a month the issue with call flow has been resolved. I tested the call flow few times with different tasks to make sure the issue has been resolved. The reason for being on the Nextiva engineers' nerves for a month was that because I liked Nextiva from any aspect. It was working perfectly fine for 3 years of my experience with 170 users and 8 locations, and all the sudden this crap happened when I started a new project. I was so upset about a system with the best performance going down like this.

    We have ordered a new account 2 weeks ago (09-08-2022), 3 standard users with 4 Desk phones, up until now the service is not functioning, more than 10 agents tier 1, tier2, and also Nextiva's developers have been working on the issue and couldn't fix it yet, more than 15 hours on the phone with even Customers Relation and Customers Care departments, they do nothing, just talking and apologizing.

    I have tried with two different 7 days trial accounts as well, same deal, there is big ongoing flaw within their system and new platform, please make sure to test your account as a trial account for 7 days before you disconnect your old phones and stuck with having no phone system. I will upload my screen records on YouTube later on today or tomorrow. Just want to mention, Nextiva was a great service before they move to their new fancy platform, if you have the old platform stick with it, works perfect, just don't get a new service for now until it gets fixed, it has a big flaw. Set up a website is not working, I was told there were fixing. Bad impression. It has been 3 days, I could not even use my business phone number.     Our business was looking for phone service and called several companies, Nextiva was very aggressive calling almost every day to get our business. When we received the phones we couldn't use them as our internet isn't hardwired but Wifi. We were never told what equipment was necessary in order to utilize service and they never asked if we were hardwired or Wifi. When we first called to say we couldn't use the phones, a tech directed us to Amazon to purchase additional equipment. WHAT!? Shouldn't everything be included at the time of purchase? Why should I have to purchase additional equipment from Amazon for your product to work? So, I called the rep myself. The first thing I noticed is that now that we had signed an agreement their response was slow. (I'm still waiting for the admin password to phone after sending an email 5 days ago). The reps call you all day twice a day until they get your business then it's ghost.

    When I finally reached someone I put up a fuss stating I didn't appreciate not being given full disclosure on what was required to use phones and that alone made me feel uncomfortable, so I said we would like to return phones and cancel contract. But the very aggressive tech said she could send out the equipment at no charge other than shipping. I've requested my complaint be escalated because I do NOT want to do business with this company. I also found out today that we could have had a month-to-month agreement but it was never disclosed to us as an option. So to get out of this agreement we would be responsible for a 39-month contract. This is WRONG, especially when I see there was opportunity for a free 30-day trial. Something else that wasn't disclosed.

    If your services are as good as you claim online, then you should allow every business to have a 30-day free trial to see if their products work for your business, but apparently NEXTIVA is a predatory company that harasses you until they get your business then tell you you're stuck! I wish we had looked at their reviews online because they are HORRIBLE. So, Buyer BEWARE! ADVICE: If you're looking for a VoIP service use a local vendor where they will come out, assess your needs, and install the equipment. If that's not possible make sure they disclose all equipment needed and DO NOT sign any contract. Get month-to-month service or at best a free 30-day trial, to ensure the equipment/service works and meets your needs.

    Stay away from using Nextiva. I had many dropped calls for 4 months, asked for support, poor service, can’t cancel for a year so you’re stuck paying it even if you’re not happy, we’ll see what happens since I am looking at legal options. Sales person lied when I said I only want month to month but signed me up for a service for a year. Be very careful!

    MY saga with Nextiva is long. From day 1 they could not figure out how to provide reliable service. Despite a strong internet connection, they drop calls, would not route calls, terrible call quality, and other gaping holes in their features. Hours of troubleshooting and years of dealing with their joke of a service I finally ported my numbers to Verizon and cancelled my service in April. 4 months later Nextiva is still charging my credit card for cancelled service. I spent 1.5 hours on the phone with Nextiva trying to straighten it out and they are so inept they cannot find the contract they had us sign when starting service. I was supposed to receive a call back when they located my contract. 30 hours later and of course no one at Nextiva has called me back.

    From terrible call quality to horrendously inept support Nextiva is not a business, they are some sort of shell company or maybe a money laundering operation. There is no way a company can perform this bad and still have revenue. I am quite frankly amazed. I've used OOMA, Verizon, Ring Central, and 8x8. All of these services are hands down better than Nextiva. Their service works and they have support that actually helps you. Plus they will not fraudulently charge you for cancelled services. My next step is to go dispute Nextiva's fraudulent billing with my credit card company. Even after cancelling their service these people are somehow still wasting my time.

    These guys are a freaking joke at best. They demand your pin, they won't let you do anything until you verify who you are. I gave them my boss's pin and then I was allowed to ask questions, what is the point if I can give you any one's pin. Once I do finally get to speak to someone, they can't find any of our old tickets for my co-workers with the same issues. They keep me on hold the entire time, I spoke with a manager who then sent me back to the tech that couldn't help. GET YOUR COMPANY TOGETHER! This is extremely unprofessional.

    XBert your tier 2 service team JUST broke our phone setup.. We can NO longer receive calls on this number. ** This is urgent! We get the number is NOT in service!!!! And we can NOT get the team assignment for ** to stay permanent! It goes away AFTER we set it! Sorry but really losing patience with Nextiva. We are now LINE DOWN!     We got this service for our veterinary clinic. Dropped calls all the time. Left us on hold for hours when we would call to try to fix anything. every time we called the people who we finally spoke to were completely lost and give us the runaround. Finally after a year we went to cancel and they claimed we signed a 5 year contract which was false. Then hit us with a $1500 dollar early termination fee. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE GARBAGE. If possible would give zero stars.

    When I first went to Nextiva, they told me that I can text on my computer to cell phone numbers which is a LIE. Their calling features are quite cumbersome and not smart at all. If you enter a phone number with a 1 in front of it, it will not go through- it's not smart enough like cell phones to fix this itself. Also, the company locks you into a 18 month contract even if you don't like the service. Their customer service takes 30 minutes to pick up your call to tell you that someone will return your call with your issue and if you don't pick up the phone exactly when they call you, they will cancel your request and you have to submit a new request for whatever issue you have. They are quick to close ticket and slow to respond to them. I'd give NEXTIVA negative stars if I could. STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY - go to 8x8 instead of NEXTIVA.

    Nextiva was able to waive the entire contract cancellation fee after my review. I definitely think it should have been resolved prior to that and I tried to by mentioning to the cancellation team that I would hate to write a review to which she responded, "it is your right to do so".

    I would strongly recommend investing in your set up team more than your sales reps/account managers who simply disappear or get switched on the customer as soon as you sign the contract. I'm sure all my issues would be resolved and I would remain a customer if someone was dedicated to make sure I am up and running the first week. I went with Nextiva based on #1 rating all over internet. Now that I know who is behind the marketing - it seems as a paid statement. Thank you for waiving the cancellation fees. Good luck in your future endeavors.

    We are a growing business and needed to get a sophisticated phone system. Based on the internet's #1 blast for Nextiva we decided to go with "the best". The first Account Executive Steven ** was hungry for my business and attentive, reassuring that he will do anything not to lose my business and when my hesitation arose about the contract - he promised that they would never hold me to the contract if they didn't work out for us. Shortly before we signed the contract, Steven was no longer with the company. We still signed up thinking the new AE will be as great but this is when the nightmare began. My conclusion on the AE's is that they are great until they get the sale. Since April we've had 6 Account executives who weren't helpful at all when we kept having issues. The technical support wasn't helpful and lacked English so we spent hours and hours on the phone and got nowhere with issues such as:

    We had down time during business hours and we were promised that wouldn't happen.
    Multiple phones wouldn't work for over a month and no-one would respond to my emails asking for help.
    Caller ID still doesn't show our business name and I stressed the importance of that before signing up.
    Call flow distribution was all over the place.
    Calls were being dropped daily AKA LOSING CUSTOMERS!!!
    During a call with a customer music would come on out of nowhere that usually plays during a hold interrupting a conversation.
    Cordless phones wouldn't transfer so the employees would share phones.
    SMS/MMS never working but included in price.
    Account Executives not responding to emails for weeks.

    Non existent customer service!!!

    I emailed multiple AE's on 06/01 that I'd like to cancel then called due to no response again. I came across a new AE who talked me out of cancelling stating he would help me and that also got nowhere. I finally called the loyalty team today asking for a cancellation and they stated it would cost me $2,995 as I have 20 months left in a contract. No business can afford to pay that kind of money for a service that never worked in the first place. It's a horrible business practice to hold someone accountable to a contract for a service that never worked correctly in the first place. I should pay for the 4 months of terrible service, but $2,995 to leave that terrible service?? That's a scam & everyone should know about it. Extremely disappointed. Stay away business owners!

    After seeing the demonstration with a sales rep we were impressed by the capabilities. Once we started using the service for our medical office, we realized that calls were being dropped, internal transfers were complicated, and customer service was terrible. We gave Nextiva multiple attempts to correct our issues, improve our call flows, improve the texting capabilities, improve transfers, etc. After about 2 months with the service we decided the change services - I informed the sales rep who stated that Nextiva 'could not provide the services that we required'. He was very understanding of our choice to leave.

    Once our phone numbers were ported out of Nextiva, we attempted cancelling the service several times with no success. Each time we receive an automated response stating "Case Closed". Then each month we receive a new bill. Multiple phone calls and emails to every department we can find ends with the same result. I cannot say enough - DO NOT utilize Nextiva Phone service. They may work well for a specific type of business, but I'm not sure what that business is.

    This company is supposedly on of the larger VOIP providers out there. I find this hard to believe. Their support barely knows more than I do and every time you call, even for something simple, you're on the phone for over an hour. When you do call they're going to beat you over the head trying to remotely login to your system which there's no chance I'm doing.

    I called for the numerous issues the latest being that none of the physical phones actually ring due to a BLF setting being changed. We got that issue fixed and moved on to the call monitoring issue where the rep wanted me to reset the system. At that point I would have to redo all the settings and manually provision all lines. I'm not doing that for one function. I hung up the phone and all the changes we made were reversed and not saved. I called another rep to fix the issue and it was confirmed in the notes that no changes were made. I have spent more time on the phone with customer support than I have speaking with customers. I don't know how anyone can actually run a business with this service. I've never had worse service in my life. The only saving grace is that I did a month to month contract.

    Also if you have an advanced phone like the Yealink know that a lot of features will not work on Nextiva system. Even simple things like being able to monitor or pick up a call from another user line requires an upgrade from the mid level service. I probably should have used Ooma or ring central instead. Their backend software is the absolute worst. Even though I set up and activated a call flow it doesn't save on their end and you have to call in. I really wanted to like the VOIP, but so far it has been a nightmare.

    We ordered this service a month ago. The phone was sent to a medical office that we don't even know. I email the company and started asking about the phone a few weeks into the service. I was told it was sent to a strange address. I was also told I had submitted that address (a lie)! I asked them to cancel the service because we didn't want to deal with a company that lies and will put information in documents that is not correct. After getting hung-up on I was told we couldn't cancel and they ended up billing us again for a phone we still didn't have!

    Auto renewed my contract without me agreeing to it. When I first signed up the lady told me if I wanted to renew my contract I'll have to sign something completely WRONG!! So I was charged over 200 to cancel a plan I'm not even using they would not cancel the plan without that payment! I would search for other phone companies that won't scam you.

    Someone from Nextiva decided to email me back several hours later after they said it would cost $1500 to cancel earlier in the day. They now said they would waive the early termination fee. This would have been good to hear earlier in the day before I started leaving reviews. Now I need to go back try to edit my reviews. My service never worked correctly and I was losing customers. but at least now I’m not forced into an early termination fee. I would of never even took the time to leave a review until they tried to force me to pay $1500 to quit. That really pushed me over the edge.

    The video calling does not work, the text message feature does not work, customers getting automated message that our number is disconnected. Our caller ID is always wrong. They said I wasn’t in a contract and that it’s month to month, but after 3 weeks with the service still not working they want $1500 to cancel. Mr. Wonderful, Kevin O’Leary from Shark Tank is their spoke person, and they are rated #1 all over the internet. But once you sign up the nightmare begins. My company cannot afford $1500 to cancel the service so they want to put it on my credit report instead. Horrible business practices used by Nextiva. Purely a scam company. You want to force me to pay for a service that doesn’t work and then force me to pay $1500 to leave the service. Just plain horrible, this is how you treat your customers.

    We have a small 2 line business. Since adding the 2nd line 3 weeks ago, we've had to call for tech adjustments EIGHT times and they still don't have it working. We don't have direct text or touch-to-call options. It's as simple as it gets and they can't get it right.     The Non-Profit organization that I work for has had an account with Nextiva since January 2017. Set up as they stated that they could handle our fax to email account as a tax exempt account and would be very easy to use. They lied. Always be difficult to use, customer service is a nightmare and they started charging us taxes in 2020. They are highly unprofessional and we are now in a battle to cancel our account as they are refusing to do so. I'm not even our Office Manger anymore but being asked to assist with canceling the account as they state they will only talk to me.

    The reason I signed on with Nextiva was because I wanted the caller ID to reflect my company name. They set the account up incorrectly. Then, told me I had to wait 3 weeks for it to be corrected. I never heard back so I followed up. Once I connected with the representative, I learned they requested to fix the caller ID on the incorrect number and I have to wait another 3 weeks. No thanks! I just terminated my contract and will look elsewhere.

    We have been clients for +7 years with Nextiva. Years of suffering dealing with weekly issues non stop. Customer support is awful, anything takes HOURS to get solved, and 90% it creates another issue on our network. They seem to be OK with saying "but we do solve it", yes but after our employees time on the other end waiting and following instructions. Our employees now refuse to deal with them, that is how bad the experience of all of them has been. Manager after manager, all have had their share of Nextiva PAIN. Now we are ready to switch and we are stuck with them for another 30 months as our contract is on auto renewal, each time for 30-36 months! I can't believe we ever agree to that. They won't even recognize their breach of contract by not providing a decent service.

    We signed up like many others on the pretense of great reviews and the sales representative promising us how quickly and easy it is to set up and use their service. That could not be further from the truth. It should’ve been a red flag right off the bat when the number we selected could not receive any calls. We could call out but nobody can call in. For a business this is disastrous. We contacted customer service several times each time the issue was not resolved with a seemingly flustered customer service rep confused as to why this was happening. They then changed the number we selected and claimed that’d resolve the issue and still issue is the same. Got our phone device in the mail and still same problem.

    Called to fix again and they again were “so confused as to why this is happening”. We are a small business we need one line and one fax. Not complex but clearly they can’t seem to even follow through on that promise. Of course we’re contracted for 2 year plan and now we have to pay for the remainder of the plan price as termination fees. Do NOT fall for their fake reviews!!! DO NOT use their service.

    One positive I will say is Nextiva's sales staff are great at their job. Their actual product and support fall far short of what is promised. Our install took over 8 months and had to be handled by a third party subcontractor who became as frustrated with their support as I was. Our business employs 80 staff members and we have a call center that takes over 1,500 calls a week. Until this day, a year in, almost every fix they have applied has reverted back to the original problematic issue.

    During the absolutely horrendous install, I attempted to contact upper management (the VP) who NEVER replied to my emails or phone calls. The salesman completely wiped his hands of us and keep referring me back to their horrible support staff. I was told that they run on two platforms. The old one and the "new and improved" one that they sold us. The problem with the new platform is the fixes keep reverting and they can't figure out why. Please pick another service. We will be eating the expense of changing companies in the near future.

    How are these guys even in business? I got it because of all the glowing reviews. I have a small business that requires 3 lines. Two voice and one fax. Not rocket science right? Wrong, took hours to set up and several support people. Had to do all these work arounds to accommodate basic functions we always had with Spectrum. Absolute joke.

    I had been using Nextiva for the past two years. While we initially had great customer service, it declined to be almost non-existent. We made the decision to switch providers as a necessity for our small business. It took three months for Nextiva to port the number to the new provider. Once the porting was finalized, we informed Nextiva that we would be terminating our service with them. They are charging us for two more years of service (will only discount 25%) because they say that the contract auto-renewed for another 2 years. There was no notice of auto-renewal or anything of the sort. Our monthly invoices always state that the next renewal date is the following month, making it appear that after the initial two year contract has expired that it is a month-to-month contract. This is an incredibly deceptive business practice. Buyer beware.

    We switched to Nextiva to avoid "connecting with Google Voice" and increase professionalism. Unfortunately it has been issue after issue with inability to receive calls. It has been 1 month now and we have only had 4 phone calls come through. It either does nothing...sounds like a fax machine....or goes directly to voicemail. We have spent countless hours on the phone or via chat with support to no avail. We are told the issue is fixed and then within a day the issue returns. After 1 month of issues and multiple contacts with support we are told they haven't finished porting our number to Nextiva and we won't have access to calls for the next 72 hours. Unacceptable. Businesses beware. We have lost 1000s of dollars and when they were informed they offered nothing in compensation and only said it would be another 3 days until they could fix the issue. What's next?

    So you guys you don't want their services.

    1. They gave me a Premium service And they charge me 20 some dollars I asked for a year contract Somehow their employee slid 24 months into the contract. I just had to service for one day and I was told that I would get the welcome package on package and a toll free number for free. They did not tell me about you had to pay for minutes for incoming calls And not just that anything after 1500 minutes I get charged. They never called me back and still waiting been a week by now.

    2. I asked for the express service. One of the employees charged my card for another $16. He also said that he will carry that $20 that I had over If I do not try to get out the contract. Then he told me to try this express service out before before I opt out of the contract. They was going to charge me $47 some change and I told him what about the money I just paid you guys $30 some dollars. They wasn't hearing it. Now they don't want to give me my refund back or cancel contract and want me to pay out the 24 months. Guys trust me they not good.

    Nextiva company offered VoIP Phone that are supposed to connect to WiFi. The representative guaranteed that these phones do have WiFi and that I only need to plug them in to power and set up. When I received the phones, it did not have the ability to connect to Wifi. I called Tech Support and was told that I needed a wifi dongle. I explained there was no Wifi dongle sent with the package. I was then transferred to Customer Relations spoke to Terry. Per Terry the dongle is an additional charge and that we need to purchase the dongles required. I expressed this capability was guaranteed to me when I made the purchase and signing of the contract. That's the whole point of me signing the contract and getting the phones.

    When I asked to cancel the contract Nextiva is charging $660 for an "early termination fee". There has been no service provided and we just received the phones. We have not even started using their service. Nextiva is unfortunately unwilling to work with us to meet the expectations that we signed up for. With canceling they would still charge us $660 for an "early termination fee" with no service provided. This is a "Bait and Switch" operation. I ordered and signed up for "Wifi voip phones". When I received the phones, they did not have WiFi and was told that I need to purchase more equipment to make it Wifi. Cancelation even before service is provided would be charged an early termination fee.

    We are a small business and need an additional number on 2 cell phones to run our business. We were in need of an upgrade from Grasshopper and the Nextiva Sales Agent promised us a service that simply doesn't work. I paid for a year via a contract, upfront for 3 lines even though I only need to connect 2 devices via the app. The 3rd line was to give both cell phones TXT capability. I can't even receive phone calls let alone the ability to text out. I have spent hours of time on hold waiting for "customer" service. I thought this would be an upgrade from Grasshopper and it certainly is not. I will be holding them accountable for not upholding their end of the deal.

    We made a mistake in transferring our service to Nextiva. At the end of the second-month contract, I called to ask when our service would be activated and, most importantly, when our old business phone number transferred. After a usual ten minutes on hold, the representative returned, saying that I needed to fill up some papers. After that, it could take another 45 days to have our number transferred and activated. I canceled our service and demanded a refund for what was now three months charged without the promised service. Now, seven months later, we realized the contract not only wasn't canceled, but they have been charging us for 7 months, going into the 8th after we canceled it 5 months ago.

    Today, I called to speak with a manager looking for an explanation, and most importantly, the total refund of the funds I consider to have been stolen by them. After one hour and twenty-five minutes explaining the whole story to two representatives and after admitting to be an awful situation, the Customer Retention representative just refused to transfer me to a manager, just refused, “ no, I will not transfer you, period!” Worse yet, using an excuse to find a solution, she put me on hold for another 11 minutes and came back with an offer: If I stayed with them as a customer, she would refund one of the seven months they stole from us, but, only if I continue with the service, yes, the service they never delivered; otherwise, there was nothing she could do… other than, of course, enjoy our free money they collected for seven months!

    After informing them that I would speak with our bank and block any future payments, she threatened to send our account to collections for non-payment! In my opinion, they are UNSCRUPULOUS THIEVES, trained to steal from you! STAY AWAY FROM THESE CON ARTISTS! Protect yourself and your money from their LACK OF MORALS and HONESTY. Find a reputable and decent company. NEXTIVA is not one of them!.

    I've never worked with a company so bent on selling trash. Nextiva reps will tell you whatever they need to in order to make a sale, but as soon as you're out of onboarding - you are ON YOUR OWN. No issues will be fixed, and if the service doesn't work then you'll just have to deal with it! They do not respond to cases, and if they do - they will give you some benign instructions and ignore any further communication from you. Their app does not work on Android devices, their desktop app works occasionally. The actually physical desktop phones work fairly well, aside from the numerous dropped calls each day. Again, we've given them every opportunity to resolve our issues and they've just lied, ignored us, and basically sold us trash that we can't even use. BEWARE OF NEXTIVA!

    I wish I would have seen this page and the reviews here before signing with Nextiva. Everything they say it’s true. I called and spoke with a sales associate, I specified exactly what I needed and by when I needed it. I was reassured that it was no problem, so I went ahead and signed the contract. Barely 24hrs later the Implementation Team calls to let me know 1. The contract is written wrong and does not cover what I need and 2. Instead of the promised 2 weeks to get everything moved over I was told it would be a minimum of 6 weeks, meaning my old contract would have expired by then leaving me without a phone.

    I called the sales person back and asked to cancel my contract, I was promptly told that it wasn’t his job to do that and that I needed to call the cancellation department. I did that and was told, there is no grace period and the only way to get out of the contract is to pay the full amount. Unfortunately I don’t have that kind of money to waste, so I kept going with the transfer, has the process continues to move forward I have found more and more issues that have made work slower and more difficult.

    I now have to use a separate company for Telehealth and a separate company for texting our Clients because the Desktop App does not allow for texting outside of the group. I also had to pay for an additional month of my old service because of how long everything took. I’ve tried talking to them and trying to figure out a way to end the contract, but it’s not even taken into consideration. All I have to say is, this is the worst decision I’ve made for my business, and reading all the other reviews it appears I’m not alone.

    My day is currently taken up from 8 am to 5pm trying to handle the phones being down over and over again. Our receptionist's phone can't make or receive calls. The escalation engineer told her that her router was the issue. She's been working at home with that router for the last two years with no issue until Dec. Now I have an employee's phone die almost EVERY SINGLE DAY. We log these. And we can't leave our contract because it auto renews with no chance of cancellation or even removing lines that you're no longer using. The customer service is fine, but they can't help the fact that the product they're supporting is garbage. Oh, also, the UI on their dashboard sucks and hasn't been updated in 7 years. That's just a personal pet peeve.

    We switched over systems in December. Three weeks later we still can’t get things working. They blame the problems on our cellphones and internet that never hand problems before. Call quality is subpar. Sales has to hang up and call back on another line to get a good connection. The first week calls didn’t even go through costing us thousands in lost revenue and angry customers. It’s been a nightmare. Good sales pitch, all kinds of assurances on the front end that it’s a great service, but once you committed the tech support and customer support doesn’t handle the issues. We are discussing how to mitigate the damage done to our business so far.

    Do not use this company! Or at least DO NOT ENTER A CONTRACT! You will be stuck with a terrible, difficult to use phone system that has many issues including terrible sound, echoes and glitches. The customer service was almost ok, but who wants to be on the phone every other week for another problem?? IT'S A PHONE! How difficult does it have to be? I have other things to worry about. And (the worst part) GOOD LUCK SWITCHING BACK!! GOOD LUCK - I ended up paying off Nextiva for the rest of the year just to switch back - I wish I would have read THESE reviews and not the fake ones on other websites before switching :(.

    This company makes numerous promises that they are unable to keep. Tech support is slow and many of the representatives, including those in tech support and sales, do not know the product well. It took weeks to implement the system. Last, the software appears set up for call centers, so if you operate a small business I would avoid at all costs. Very dissatisfied. Initially said they would let us cancel the service but now they are reversing course. Do not make the same mistake I did.

    I signed a contract with Nextiva and from day one I had problems getting setup. It took about 2 to 3 days to get start getting me setup. I was told during the setup process that I had a free voice greeting. I went to the website they gave me to setup the greeting for the platform setup. They want to charge me $300. On top of that it took 25 to 30 days to be ready. I rejected because their voice talent wasn't that good, cost was too much.

    Anyway I try the next day to load my own voice greeting and the platform wasn't working again. I called and requested a refund and my subscription to be cancel. I was first told that I had to wait to make sure my phone number that was being ported was complete cancel. So I call today, verified that the porting had been cancel. I proceeded to request my refund and subscription cancelled. I was then told that I had go through a dispute process. So I explain the same situation to the first lady. Then another lady got on the phone, asked the same questions. As I was explaining the whole situation to her the phone hung up. She didn't call me back. And when I call a answering machine answered at her department. I really don't like doing business with these type of services.

    It turns out your contract will auto renew after its expiration, you are never out of contract unless you cancel on your anniversary date. Very frustrating experience to pay for the remaining time in the contract with out anything to show for it. It took 3 times contacting to get my account cancelled. Last time on the phone was over an hour.

    We missed calls and voicemails. Customers would let us know that they called and left voicemails that we did not receive and their numbers did not show in the call log. We kept the service for almost a year but changed due to so many complaints by our customers. When we called to cancel the service, the rep reset our phones and now they are dead. We were on the phone with customer service for 4 hours yesterday to no avail. I contacted my service rep and he said nothing he can do. So not only do they have crappy phone software but they have crappy customer service and will sabotage your phones when you cancel them. Unbelievable!!!!

    BUYER BEWARE. I recently purchased Nextiva phone service for my company and I regret my purchase. After I made my purchase they sent me several phones that do not work. The online phone system goes in and out and their customer support is a joke. I have contacted them several times and they do not respond. I tried calling them about my issues and they just hang up the phone when I ask to cancel my subscription.

    Nextiva VOIP sold us service on 10/9/21 and the services never worked due to technical problems the provider were experiences. On 10/16/21, Nextiva could not solved the technical issues with my phones services and numbers. I called everyday to get it resolved, but never got the issue resolved therefore I canceled the service. For 7 day straight, I contacted Nextiva several times, I never received a call back from rep, nor did we received any callbacks from technical support. After waiting 7 days from initial setup with Nextiva, we never received any services, Nextiva didn't resolved its technical issues, however, they attempted to hold us to 36 month agreement that was never discussed. It was never explained that we have an 36 month agreement for VOIP services with no equipment. We signed up an intangible services that has never worked.

    I am a new client to this company. I was sold a product and program that simply doesn't exist. I have had my equipment for a month and we are still not live. They do not tell you about all of the changes that you will need to make in regards to internet and current phone system before their equipment will work. They have very high turnover so reaching your rep will simply not happen. I finally got a supervisor's name-Gary ** who I have called now 6 times with no response. I regret the day that I signed this contract and would warn every business to beware of this company. They are certainly not what they make you believe in their sales pitch.

    Told us that it would work for us our company and when we set it up all the texting didn't work as planned. We cancelled it over the phone but they still rebilled. Now they won't even refund after calling 3 days in a row. I have to dispute the charges. The system and call transferring were extremely difficult, were were sold a dream.

    (Nextiva Lie #1) I talked with James **. He was the sales rep that promised me excellent customer service. (Truth) My staff was on hold for hours trying to work with them. It was near impossible to get someone on the phone and when we did they were generally clueless. I personally was on the phone for over 2 hours attempting to cancel. They would not promptly return emails or calls and it was difficult scheduling appointments.

    (Nextiva Lie #2) He also promised that we had a 30 day out clause. Meaning after 30 days of using the Nextiva service we could cancel at any time. He promised me (I mean he lied to me) and explained that we'd be able to use the service for 30 days. This was very important because we are a medical facility and I needed to try the Nextiva phone service to ensure that it was functional and reliable for patient care.

    (The Truth) Well, their onboarding process was awful! It took them over 30 days and we were not even onboarded yet. The experience was so bad that I canceled the service. However, Katie (who was actually very nice) explained to me that her "leadership" told her my 30 days started from the moment on signed the agreement not the moment the phone service was up and running. She stated I'd have to pay over $12,000 to cancel the contract.

    Nextiva Customer Service/Support is TERRIBLE. They charge more than what you had agreed to pay when you signed up, try to sell you plans that cost more than what you actually need, and their support reps hang-up on customers. Very unprofessional.

    Called in April to cancel account. Was informed that the process will take time and I might see charges on my account however when the cancellation is processed the payments would be refunded. After 3 months of charges and notification for a charge for month four I called to inquire. Was informed no case had been opened, the account was still active and no refund could be given. Finally an email was sent immediately for cancellation, which means this was intentionally not done initially. Requested call back from management. However these are poor business practices. I will never do business with this company again and will notify anyone I come in contact with of the experience and better options. People need to know about this company. And I am owed the 3 months of intentional and unethical removal of fees following a live call with a request to cancel and verbal confirmation that the cancellation process had indeed been initiated.

    This company prides itself on customer support, wrong!!! Support, a supervisor, second level of support is all mirrors they just blame the new platform as being faulty and unreliable and no follow at all with your problems. I had called three time and they never have a supervisor and the second level of support tickets just disappear, then you have to call again and again and nobody has the answer to your problem. Biggest mistake of my life to pick this company to upgrade from PBX to VOIP. If you're looking for VOIP get anything else because if you pick Nextiva you are going to regret it big time.

    They tell a great story in initial sales call but it is a bunch of lies. This service does nothing that was promised when I fell for the sales presentation. There was no training or assistance provided. When You call they simply shuffle you to another department. I fell for a 2-year agreement. I just wanted to speak with someone to let them know and finally got customer service only to be disconnected intentionally. These people are like dealing with a bunch of middle school children. They are programmed to only give you an answer to look on the website.

    Getting an agent to sell you services is the easiest part of their program. They talk a big talk and make you feel good but they fall short on customer service. Email service requests fall on deaf ears and you need not expect a reply when filling out their service request. It took me three calls to their service center to get my fax line straightened out only to find out they leased out my fax line to another client. I am an IT professional and I signed up for their referral service -- I have yet to receive any checks for the clients I had installed services from them with. I have contacted them several times on this without replies.

    One of my clients has been waiting over 30 days to get an incorrect default caller ID phone number corrected when they make calls. It still shows the initial number that Nextiva gave them. They have a function called 'Call Flow' that is supposed to route calls to your business. Although I have set up mine three times it fails to work properly. They have an app for mobile phones and mine has frozen up and refuses to open with errors. I tried to get service on it but they are clueless about getting it to work properly. Not sure where they get their reviews from but it isn't from real clients.

    Free always comes with a catch. We made the switch to Nextiva from Comcast VOIP in the beginning of 2021. The catch was 3-free months and free VOIP desk-phone devices. From the beginning we felt pressured by the sales team to sign the contract by a pushy Cloud Communication Specialist. We have had issue after issue with getting resolves to the MANY issues consisting of but not limited to: Malfunctioning free devices, horrible response time to issues with the setup and configure of our VOIP lines of service, incorrectly shipped devices to locations other than our office, broken promises of contacting us back with resolutions to ongoing issues concerning our new devices, being up-charged for devices + shipping charges to replacements for the free devices. The Sales Manager says they will contact us back and that they are 'looking into' for us and we get 0 response for days and almost weeks on end.

    Be very careful before signing any contracts with this company, our IT person said this company was a great company to have service from, not true. Maybe that was before COVID times. From our experiences, Nextiva's customer service, response time and resolving of issues has totally gone down the drain. The only positive thing I can say is that we have had solid VOIP phone service from them with no issues on that front. We really should have shopped around further before signing up with this company. Beware consumers - remember to do your homework before choosing a company such as Nextiva, if you sign with them be prepared to be most certainly disappointed over and over on response time and resolving of issues.

    Be sure to read the fine print and be warned – I do not recommend signing a contract with Nextiva! As a small business owner, I would highly recommend sourcing another digital phone provider that delivers reliable phone service, easy to reach tech support, plan flexibility, competitive pricing and most importantly, the option to cancel if the service does not function properly or meet your current business needs. Almost immediately after switching to Nextiva, we regretted our decision. When originally comparing phone providers, we now realize our first warning sign should have been Nextiva’s sales department pressuring us into a 3-year contract by offering a date sensitive promo on monthly rates.

    When we first began using Nextiva, all our locations had significant issues with call quality. Our team had trouble logging into Nextiva’s online platform and the call audio was so poor that we couldn’t hear many customers through all of the static. Daily calls to Nextiva service were often needed for multiple team members at multiple locations. Beyond customers lost and team hours wasted, even calling Nextiva’s tech support was made more difficult since anyone calling tech support was required by Nextiva to be an account admin.

    Key members of our leadership team have been constantly burdened with Nextiva service issues and have spent countless hours attempting to troubleshoot Nextiva’s problematic platform on their own since calling and emailing support seldom yielded any resolution. In addition to countless leadership hours wasted on internal troubleshooting, our company has initiated hundreds of support requests over our first 2 years of service with Nextiva. Nextiva’s service never improved for us during these years, so we have no hope that it will improve anytime soon.

    During the COVID pandemic when our locations were closed for several months, including some which never reopened, Nextiva would not offer any assistance by pausing monthly fees or even reducing the number of lines in our contract. We were forced to pay for services that could not be used during an unbelievably difficult time for small businesses. Except for Nextiva, all our other service vendors were flexible.

    Nextiva has been a constant source of frustration for our team, and we feel this has very likely contributed to employee burn out. I personally experienced many of the same call quality issues and stopped using the platform because it was so infuriating. Poor call quality has also likely contributed to irreparable damage to our brand as customer calls are so frequently dropped or missed due to Nextiva’s problematic online platform and phone app.

    To summarize: we are locked into a 3-year Nextiva service contract with no apparent accountability from Nextiva in terms of service and call quality. We are still 1 year from being free of Nextiva, yet all 3 years have been a complete waste of money and team resources. YEAR 1: consistently terrible call quality and tech support. YEAR 2: multiple lines could not be used for most of the year due to COVID, then Nextiva’s phone service was even more problematic with our remaining team members working from home to keep our business alive with a heavy dependence on the phone. YEAR 3 is just beginning and we can’t move away from Nextiva fast enough, yet we are being forced to pay out for the last year due to an unfair contract that has no remedy for Nextiva service not functioning properly. Please don’t make the same mistake we did and get trapped by Nextiva!

    Nextiva Sales People are liars. They lie through their teeth to get to sign into their service. I told them specifically that I have Salesforce out of the Country and I need a good service and they told me that Nextiva is Better than Vonage. They force me to sign an yearly contract. I only faced problems since I started. All kind of problems and I had to call tech support everyday and spend almost an hour on the phone. After several months of frustration, I told them I want to cancel service. One honest guy there told me that their service is the worst for international customers and they only have one or two foreign customers using their phone system. This was never disclosed by the Sales person when I signed up. They charged me a termination fee after speaking to several representative to cancel and holding for hours. Beware of the Sales People at Nextiva service.
