    I own my own phone and decided to switch from T mobile to Cricket to save money. Last week my phone was unable to send and receive calls or texts for over 5 hours. When I called Cricket the representative confirmed there was an outage in my area and said he would apply a credit to my account. My bill is due today. I call CS and so about my credit no history that I even called last week and spoke to the representative for almost 30 minutes and no credit. I don’t appreciate companies like this. They lie and they are not organized and when you call CS for Cricket the representative sound as if they are at home watching television. I’m definitely going to be changing providers.

    I bought a device with this connection by giving whole money. After some time I found the connection sucks and changed to AT&T. When I tried to put new sim I found out device is locked. To unlock it I have to take Cricket connection again and activate. Wicked cricket.

    They take your order and money then 'lose' your order, then have the nerve to say refund in 5-7 business days!!! I understand refund policies, but if THEY screw up, they should not punish anyone even more by making them wait another week to get money back.

    I bought a iPhone 15 pro max from cricket in January of this year, and had another phone added to my plan. I tried to take the other phone off just to have two separate lines and they ended up canceling the other phone and giving the number away. Then when I tried to pay my phone bill it was higher than usual but I still paid it to have my phone turned on and I woke up the next morning the phone was back off and I had another balance I am supposed to pay.

    I called customer service again and they were no help. Told me that I was still responsible for a phone number that I no longer had access to and wasn't trying to hear anything I had to say. The whole point of me calling and separating the lines was because I couldn't afford to pay for two lines and they messed up by canceling one of the numbers and told me I only had to pay a certain amount just for me to wake up and have my phone off and have to pay another amount. I would not recommend anyone to this carrier.

    Cricket Wireless managed to allow my number to be transferred out to another company w/o my requesting it nor my permission to do so. They completely failed to protect my personal information and identification from outside identity thieves. The information associated with my phone was not just personal but business as well, and NOT A SINGLE SHRED OF SYMPATHY was displayed upon me finding out my number was stolen from me because of their lack of customer information protection. Upon asking customer service what company my number was transferred to, they couldn't give me an answer at all. They were totally clueless as to what happened to my phone number. I had to initiate every single conversation by reaching out to them multiple times because they never even tried to help me.

    The bad part is... not one time did they offer an apology. I had to ask, and was disrespectfully refused upon asking, for a temporary phone number for my ambulance company so that I could continue my business communications. I won't even discuss their employee(s) at their actual brick and mortar location, I'd have to lower my IQ to even go there. Needless to say, I left. I had 5 lines... mine, my wife's, and 3 children. It was cheap, no doubt, but the old saying goes..., "You get what you pay for." Again, cricket wireless is trash. Stay as far away from them as humanly possible. They DO NOT operate in customer's best interests.

    I got my grandson a new Razor. $404 with his upgrade being due. He charged it one night like everyone does and fried the phone. When I got it I got the insurance. This phone is only 2 months old and now they want $250 extra to fix it. It's nothing but a rip off and I think it's about time to try different company for me. So after 3 years, bye Cricket!

    Store reps ** And ** Gave false information when I bought a new line and phone and tried to blame me when they it’s their fault for not explaining the contract in English language.     $27 for a charger head! I realized how stupid of a price that was and tried to return it in the unopened box with receipt and it turns out that they don’t accept returns on accessories. My advice is don’t buy accessories at the Cricket store unless you want to pay too much and can never return them.

    Cricket has been awful so far! From the first time I initiated contact with cricket it was awful. I did everything online. Then there was a part where I had to speak to an agent. Then I received email that they were working on my account and I would receive notice in TWO DAYS when my service would be operational. That notification never came. I received a payment of 60$ notice that came and went I saw it once and never saw it again. I wasn’t too concerned about the notice disappearing as to I had no service when it was taken. I was waiting for my old company Net 10 to be disabled. Now I was wondering if I should be using Cricket.

    When I called still not having service I had to produce zip code and a bunch of stuff I did not get. And I worked hard to get what they needed. Cricket says Net 10 did not release services until Jan 29 and they never told me anything. And this was the first time I found out that my due date would be 22nd I asked Cricket could payment be changed to 26th because I have not received any service from them. I was told NO! I believe with all the trouble that could be the least they could do. The problems were not over. I could call out but not receive a call. They tried to solve the problem once and it seemed to work but it did not stay. Another Cricket representative tried a trick she just recently learned. It worked and now I could receive and make calls. And now it’s March.

    I at one point helped fix the problem I took the SIM card out and put it back. It reset everything they did and I was up and running. Now the 22nd February comes and I did not pay and my phone was turned off the next day. I was told at one point that there was a grace period. But not for me. I am glad they are not the only cell phone company in town. I have alerted my followers and others not to come to Cricket. I had Net 10 for over 7 years.

    I had a terrible experience. We bought a phone and returned on the 7th day because the screen is blacking out. The employee tried to help but did not have the proper training. He called his store manager and talked on speaker and we heard yell at him and say she can't help, call the district manager, which he did. Then she said to call the help desk. We have now been at the Richardson location for hours. The employee is trying everything he can to do an even exchange but again didn't know how and his authorities just kept running him in circles. Now they want us to do a warranty exchange but we were within our 7 day return policy and they told us we could not come back the following day to get The proper help. I will be taking this higher up. I am not only upset they didn't follow their own contract but also how they treated their untrained employee.

    This has to be the worst phone company in the world. I have been with them for a long long time but we started this out west where it was much better and they were more polite. I got to upgrade on a Motorola g stylus. It's the worst phone in the world. It gets so hot it burns my fingers. They sent me a second phone. Just as bad. I spent four days trying to get through to them because they want to send me a third phone. I don't want their crap. They've hung up on me five times. They are so unprofessional and I've been reading everybody else's reviews and everybody's giving them a one. I sure wish I would have read this way before.

    As soon as the acap program stops or even before that I'm leaving Cricket after all these years because customer service need to take a lesson how to be polite and learn how to use your phones or learn the information. They need to know to tell their customers about their phones they're selling. They are absolutely terrible rude rotten people. Do not get cricket. Go to anybody else. They are absolutely terrible. I cannot say that enough how terrible these people are and their phones and their stores have no selection whatsoever. They suck.

    I started a small business and wanted to get another cell phone to use for business calls. I decided to go with Cricket because they are inexpensive. Well, "you get what you pay for." When I call someone on my Cricket phone, the caller ID of the person I am calling does not display my name but the name of another person who is not affiliated with me and I have no idea who they are. Presumably, the name that appears instead of mine is the name of the person who had the cell phone number before me. So as an example, if "Maria **" gets a Cricket cell phone and calls a friend, there is a better than even chance that her friend's caller ID will show something like "Robert **" is calling.

    I went to the Cricket store where I purchased the phone and they said they could not help me, and that I needed to call Cricket customer support. I called Cricket customer support and they said they could not help me either, and that I would need to go to a third-party website (of another company, not Cricket) to address the caller ID problem. The third-party company that Cricket customer support recommended said there is nothing they can do about the name that is attached to a phone number -- they help with verifying/registering that a phone number is not spam or fraud. Now I have to get another cell phone (but not from Cricket!) so when I call people their caller ID brings up my name and not the name of some stranger whose call they are not going to answer. So, be aware that if you get a Cricket phone, the phone number that you are given could well be in some stranger's name, not your name, and you will have no way to correct it.

Cricket refused to replace brand new phone, even though I have 12 month warranty and insurance. Non-caring people, worst customer service ever. Could not tell their technician from a bot because they don’t listen, and say no no no instead of trying to resolve

    I've had Cricket service for the past 4 years. I chose Cricket over Verizon because the cost was less than half of what I was paying before. However, in recent years, the functionality of their payment system, and the quality of their customer service, has declined dramatically. In the past 4 years, they have turned off my auto-pay and disconnected my phone line, despite there being sufficient funds in my connected bank account, 4 times. Each time, I have had to pay a $5 reconnection fee.

    The past 2 times, they have made it exceedingly difficult to pay the fee. It's nearly impossible to reach a live human on the phone (and it often hangs up on you after 10 minutes), and their automated phone system is so poorly designed and so unresponsive to human input that it does not work well enough to use to pay a bill.

    Their website has so many issues -- the last time I tried it, the numbers 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 wouldn't work in their Bill Pay system. This meant I had to pay $9 instead of $5 for the reconnection fee, AND it was impossible to enter my credit card number to set up Autopay (for the 5th time since I've had this account). When I finally reached a human on their chat function (after a frustrating and unsuccessful conversation with their automated system, that couldn't recognize simple requests), they completely denied that there was any problem on their end.

    I've tried resolving these issues at a store. While they were very nice, they were not authorized to receive payment or fix any of the issues, so they had to refer me back to the website & phone number. Each time they have disconnected my autopay, I have gone and tried to reconnect it right away. Even when they do accept my payment info, it often takes days to process -- and in the meantime, they disconnect my phone. This past week, I paid to reconnect on Wednesday, and now it's Saturday and I still don't have cell service.

    In the meantime, I lose any incoming calls or text messages. (The last time this happened, I called and asked them whether I could recover my missing texts. They said I'd have to get a subpoena and get the police to request this from them, in order to get those text messages back -- otherwise, they would not help.) While I certainly have saved money by using Cricket instead of Verizon, the amount of hassle involved in paying for and keeping my line active is just not worth it. As difficult as they make it to pay for and keep your service, it almost makes me wonder whether they are actively trying to drive away their customers. I am actively looking for a new cell provider, and can't wait to be done with them.

    I went on a shared plan. My phone was not working and only 7 days old. Cricket would not refund or exchange. I was issued a warranty number and instructed to take it to UPS. Ups refused to accept because I’m not the account holder. This is ridiculous because replacement phone gets shipped to the address on the account. An entire day of frustration. Had to replace the phone. Cricket was willing to add it on the account without being main holder of the account. This makes zero sense. I give them 1 star because zero stars are not an option.

    I've been a loyal Cricket customer for going on 5 years give or take and I bought my phone about 7 or 8 months ago. Was waiting on screen protector and case to come in mail, accidentally dropped and cracked screen. First time I spoke with insurance $30 to get screen replaced. 2nd x $75 to get new phone. No longer replaced screen. 3rd x $40 for new phone! And this is after granted I'm paying an extra 10 to $20 a month for phone insurance so that is like charging somebody 3xs for the exact same product that I bought when I was up for upgrade for $100 or $125!!!! Makes no sense. Useless and def not worth paying for every month. Never had a problem with this company until now.... Really sucks. Being loyal get you nowhere nowadays....

    I've been with Cricket almost 8 years now. No complaints about service, my complaint is about their lies, deceit, and bluntly put - theft. I've never in the years I've been with Cricket have ever upgraded my phone thru them, I've always bought one online and used it. Well, my wife and I decided to purchase the Motorola Moto G Stylus, using our upgrades.

    We were told that if we weren't satisfied with the phones we had 6 days to return them. The phone was a lagging piece of trash, so we returned them and all the contents that was in the box. We were told first that we could not return them, I pointed out their return policy. They said that was for accessories, I showed them it was for devices as well. Now I was told I would not get my activation fee back, (50.00), and when I asked them to show me where in their policy it said that, and I was met with real attitude. Then to punish me more for returning the phones, I was charged for 2 more SIM cards at 20 ea (40.00). By Now the manager was frothing. To avoid police presence I took the loss and lies and said I would take it up with Cricket. Now I cannot reach any live support. Beware, Cricket will lie to you, and steal from you.

    I am a single mother on food stamps and Medicaid. I have a 17 year old that needs a computer at home to do her homework and a cell phone with data and WiFi as we live in the country. When I first signed up her bill was $30 a month. Because I applied to get her a computer for school, they changed her bill to $65 a month. How am I supposed to afford it? I called customer service and they basically said they have no plans that are available for a 17 year old low income child. Metro PCS offered to lower the bill to $25 a month unlimited data with WIFI. Next month I will be making a switch.

    Visable also offers a plan that’s $25 a month. I left Cricket years ago, I only put my daughter on the plan because it was $30 and I could afford it. Next month I will only pay $60 a month to Metro PCS for two lines with unlimited data, mobile hotspot and Wifi. RUN FROM CRICKET. THEY ARE RIPPING CONSUMERS OFF FOR service other carriers have for affordable prices. SWITCH TODAY! You heard it from me first!

    I just brought the new Moto razor flip for 475.00. I've had it no longer than a week and a half and it broke exactly where the phone folds. I have a warranty and insurance. I've been to the Cricket store. I've made numerous ph calls. Been waiting on a call back for days and I haven't received anything. When I did get in touch with someone I was told a new phone is on the way. I'm still waiting to receive it. This is white collar crime at its best. The clerk that sold me the ph told me they been having issues with the new Moto razor. The exact issue I'm having. I asked why. He didn't inform me of that. His response was because, "I'm here to sell ph. Why would I."

    Cricket has the worst costumer service in history. I'm a hard work individual who don't have money to throw away to a muti million dollar company who only objective is to take from loyal customers. I've been with cricket almost a decade and this is how y'all show y'all appreciation. I will be looking to take legal actions if necessary cause this should be a crime.

    This company is double charging people for misinformation on their end. They are trying to charge me 66 dollars more on a bill that I owe 11 dollars to because of a fee they did not clarify was being taken and placed elsewhere when signing up for their bridge pay and they refuse to give an alternate way to handle this. So not only are they keeping the 106 that I already paid but they want to add another 66 dollars to the bill and shut the phone off. This is ridiculous and the company needs to do better to support its customers in all aspects of their lives.

    My texting will not work consistently. Most texts to other Android users with text receipts do not go through. I've tried to contact customer service 4 or 5 times and still no resolution. I'm being forced to switch carriers.

    I have been with Cricket for about 4 years. I generally pay online, a few times in the past I have paid in person, but today I went into my local Cricket office to pay my bill for this month, and the person in the store stood up from the chair, took my $91 and then told me I owed an extra $5 for customer assistance fee. So I was basically charged for an already paid employee to take my cash and put it into a cash register. I have never had that before, and was never notified of that either. So when I went online and chatted with a agent named Catherine she informed me that yes there is a $5 fee for getting assistance from a live person. I think that's pretty stupid!

    I have been trying to pay my bill for 4 days and their servers keep saying, "Failed to contact server. Try again later." So I go to pay my bill in store and they charged me an extra 5 dollars even though it was their servers failing that resulted in me paying in store. I am a 5 year customer, they have zero loyalty to their customers. Don't give them your money.

    I went in to a local Cricket store and they promised me high speed data. They promised me good fast data that's unlimited and I pay 60 a month which is twice what I was paying before. The data speeds are below 1mbps and sometimes below 256kbps.

    I have now gone through 2 cards that I have been previously using to pay my bill that will no longer go through their system. I was even on autopay so they were accepted for that. Last month they cut off my phones and it took forever for my payment to go through. This month I was watching for the payment and called them right away. They were unable to use either card. They said it was a problem with my card or bank. This was on a Saturday so they were supposed to extend my payment until Monday so I could call the bank. Of course they still cut off my phone and charged me extra. Of course they were not open to fix the situation.

    When I called on Monday they tried to say they didn't say these things even though I was sitting at their store and an associate heard them. I also found out that this has been an ongoing issue with other customers. I spent 2 hours on Saturday to get this resolved and now I'm sitting on hold once again. I had to miss work to resolve this issue because as I told them I have an elderly brother on oxygen that can not be left without a phone. This is absolutely ridiculous!

    I paid $190 for my Motorola G5 and I had insurance through through Cricket Wireless but yet nobody will help me get my phone retrieved to me or even loan me a new phone without the insurance rebate. I don't understand. I don't know who can help me. I am on a fixed income budget. I came to Cricket because I'm on a budget so who can I get help through to get me a phone. I need a phone for my health reasons. They won't offer me any help.

    I suffer from lung failure so a phone is a life-saving necessity. Cricket refuses to the PIN to transfer my ACP for a phone less than 6 months old even though it means life or death for me. THEIR POLICIES are more important than my life.

    I see Cricket has done well for some of their customers. That's great, but my experience with them is not good at all!!! Ok. I chose cricket because I couldn't afford the more higher companies at the time and they were the best option. The service was ok for a little while. When I moved I was in a situation where I needed to use bridge pay and extend my bill. My bill was $90 but I had to pay $55 for a week of bridge pay. Once it was time to make the next payment, a week later, I had to pay $50. Because I didn't get paid until the next week, I contacted customer service because from the reminder links they texted me, I could get another extension but the total for that was $55.

    I explained that I didn't have that and needed it split up. The rep said that I could extend it for $40 but still had to pay an extra $15. That's $55! If I don't have the $50, why would I have $55? That doesn't make any sense! The rep told me that I could just make the $15 for the extension and have my service. That was a lie! I paid it through the app and my service was off this morning! Customer service couldn't do anything about her misinformation! The $15 I paid is gone! No refund! The $55 I paid, Gone! In order for me to have my service, I have to pay $90!!!

    Sure, they are cheaper than others but they are also robbing everyone! I will never go to them again! They claimed they couldn't do anything about it and that it was the system! When customers miss a payment, they get their service disconnected! But if one of their employees issue out the incorrect information nothing happens to them and the customer has to suffer! That is not fair nor right! It would be different if they did what they could to rectify the situation!!!! Please find another company to do business with!

    I’ve been with Cricket Wireless since 2016. Every year our cellular data has been going down. This year my husband and I decided to each get new 5G phones. We have had nothing but trouble with them since we got them. Apple has checked them out and the phones are good. It appears that there is not enough cell service in our area. I have had my eSIM’s changed about four times and put in a physical Sim. Nothing changes I reset my network nothing changes. I’ve asked them to unlock my phone early because I can’t use it. I would not recommend the service to anyone. Some customer service people yell at you and other ones are so good. Don’t sign up for them.

    Today I spoke with the manager at Cricket. He is unprofessional and rude and he’s nasty. He couldn’t resolve my problem, which is he can but he doesn’t want. I will never go back to cricket again ever. Bad Customer service, bad signal everywhere. I did not recommend this company to anybody. Do not waste your time. Do not waste your money.

    The Cricket Wireless company on the day I asked to cancel my service, as I knew the next day they were going to charge my account. Did not cancel my service and pretended they did not know, even though I port out of their cellular services and took my number with me the day before!!!

    NEVER, NEVER, NEVER USE AUTO PAY!!! If the system screws up and charges you twice, you are just sick being paid a month ahead, they will not fix the issue or refund you. They will only add the funds to your next bill! DO NOT USE AUTO PAY. The page to change autopay cards specifically says if you change this less than 2 days before bill is due, you will have to make a one time payment for the current month and auto pay will take care of the next. I had lost my debit card that was originally on file.

    My bill was due 2/2/24 and on 2/1/24 I updated my autopay card to my new debit card and made my one time payment that it told me I needed to do. However, later I got a second message from Cricket confirming my payment. I then noticed not only did they take my one time payment, they still ran auto pay through the new card that I had JUST added. This was an error on their end, but yet they would not fix it. I have to just deal with the $126 being credited to next month's bill instead of cancelled since it was still in pending status. They then told me my bank had to request the cancellation of one of them, but my bank won't do that with information from cricket that cricket was refusing to provide. I've always been an advocate for Cricket Wireless, but not anymore. I will NEVER recommend them to anyone again!!!!

    Worst experience ever in my life with any kind of service. Please think twice before going there. I bought a new phone and wanted to switch to a different carrier, so I chose Cricket. Big mistake. Everything was fine until I tried to make regular phone calls. It didn't work; the calls were cut, and when someone called me, it went straight to voicemail. So, I went to the store. They reviewed the phone, checked configurations, and found nothing. I asked if it could be a phone problem because it was new, and they told me that it wasn't. They asked me to call customer service because they couldn't do anything else. So, I called that day. After an hour of waiting, I finally got someone. The woman did the same as the tech people in the store, and, of course, it didn't work. She told me that she would contact the technicians at the store to review my case and call me back at 10 am. That, of course, never happened!!!

    So, I called again that afternoon. After another hour of waiting, I got someone. A new woman answered me, so I had to explain everything again. She tried all kinds of solutions again, but nothing worked. She even changed the phone number of the line, but it didn't work. As a last resort, she disconnected the physical line to connect an eSIM. That didn't work either. And here is the worst part: she told me that at this point, she had to report the problem to another department, and maybe they could fix the problem. But she never reconnected my physical SIM again!!!!

    So now, not only can I not make calls, but I also don't have any service at all. Of course, I never got any response from any department of the company or anyone. I lost the money of the line and the activation because they don't refund anything even when they mess up. And, to make matters worse, they still charged me for the next month. DON'T GO THERE. THEY ARE SHIP FOR A REASON!!!!

    I was a customer of Cricket in 2020. Recently my Mom is in India and she want to use the phone we bought from Cricket. I call customer service and they said they cannot unlock this phone even I paid off and had cricket service for more than 6 months. I ask to talk to a manager and they said I have to wait for 2 hours and 22 minutes to talk to manager. She said manager does not have access to call me on my phone. It is almost 1hr. 10 minutes to hold and no one pickup.

    Long time customer of Cricket Wireless. I called before my due date to setup bridge payment. The system tell me that I'm not eligible to split my phone bill. Forcing me to pay the full amount. I wasn't late on my bill so it makes no sense why I was force to pay the full amount.

    I wanted a business cell phone for remote work, and thought it would be nice to try something new. I walked into the Cricket retail location near me and set up the account. I bought a basic phone, and off I went. First red flag was immediate: I wanted to change the number to an area code more commonly seen locally, and was told in the store, "It's ok, but you have to call customer service" - so I called the service number and requested the number change with the preferred area code. The response was "Sure you can change the number and area code, but that will be $15." Fine. I gave customer service a card number and the number was changed.

    I found out immediately afterward that the area code was the same, and a new 7-digit number was assigned, so I called back and was informed that the area code can only be assigned based on your address given during account creation - it can't be changed. That was news to me. After speaking to at least two staff members, it was the first time being informed of it. I said "OK let's just refund that $15." The response was "No we can't do that. Cricket is a pre-paid company." I tried to be the good guy and let it go instead of being a Kyle, but I have never been in a position where a refund was refused outright. That's not ethical, and I'd have to check on the legality, in particular after being misinformed multiple times.

    Fast forward a few months. I decide to cancel for lack of need. Side note: Did you know you can't cancel your account? This service relies on you to simply default your payments. I tried to test this by removing the payment source, but guess what? You can't do it. It if exists, the option is hidden down a black hole. The account was suspended for lack of payment but (and I verified this with our CFO) I had set up auto payments on the app through the company card. I tried to choose the option that deletes my data. That function on the app and on the website after logging in both failed - "unspecified error". I tried to unsubscribed from promotional emails on the app. That function failed with another error of some kind.

    So to sum up - this is beyond shady - clearly predatory in nature in terms of the limitations and protocols and aimed at the lower socioeconomic groups with less of a voice. All this experience did was to create an outspoken advocate against it as a whole. And how did I resolve all this? I had to call and wait on hold for 25 minutes. As always, there are options available when speaking with someone that aren't available on apps and websites. I still couldn't outright cancel, though.

    The cell service is terrible and just keep getting worse by the day. Customer service is no help. All their policies is just to rip you off and they run off AT&T so that tells me a lot about at&t service. Just save yourself the headache and go with another service that will appreciate you as a customer.

    I have been with Cricket for several years. Upgraded hotspot to 150 gig that's 90 dollars a month. Last month they stopped at 100 gig. Went to local store no help. Called customer support no help. Rep had no knowledge on what to do so I was screwed for 50 gig. I switched to T-Mobile 50 a month and unlimited data.

    I was charged twice for monthly services. Called twice, it was their mistake, but they charged $200, overdrawn bank acct. They will NOT give the money back, it was pending. They had just charged me. I hate this company, treat me like this after 16 yrs service with them. They suck, I'm looking for new service!

    I called the Cricket help center for a straightforward problem & I called there no less than seven times and talked to seven different people only to leave me without fixing the problem. Cricket hasn't never been that disoriented but there are now. Every time you call customer service it's a call center in another country. You don't understand them they don't understand you. T-Mobile & Metro PCS live getting cricket customers. And that's exactly where I'm headed. Cricket will never get another penny from me.

    We had AT&T but switched to Cricket because of the great price. It was less than half of what AT&T cost us. We used AT&T because it got the best coverage in our rural Missouri area. What most people don't realize is that AT&T owns Cricket so you can access all the cell towers AT&T has plus the ones Cricket owns too. So great service and great price. I see a lot of nay sayers in the reviews but we have been nothing but happy with the service. And we have never had a problem with them during our 4 years with Cricket.

    Made the Bridge payment thru my Cricket. The payment did not process to bridge pay. It was applied as a payment toward the actual bill amount. I was told they have only limited ways to deal with the bridge payment problem but nothing could be done to assist me. It's my money so why not apply it where I need it instead of where they choose to apply it. People use bridge because they need time to pay or are limited to funds. After speaking with the manager she texted my phone twice when our phone interaction ended. There was no need in playing on my phone. Be careful using this busted bridge payment option that they are not available to grant you without speaking directly with someone. After over 15 years of service after today I'm done with Cricket Wireless. Ghetto service!!

    It would be in your best interest to choose a different company. They do not value current customers and customer service representatives are incompetent and unhelpful.     I pre paid my account when I had extra money for my budget. I changed providers and there was still $220 on my account balance due back to me. The company states that "since I no longer have an account with them, they are unable to credit me." They told me the only way I could get my money back was to dispute it with my bank. The last payment I made was a large payment that was over 6 months old. This company literally stole my money and refuses to give it back.

    This is a more economic plan company. Their call coverage is good, but the internet and data is bad. This is due to weak signal. Browser work slow, but most apps freeze. I tried many times to get technical support, but they don't have an explanation. Always use last IPhone model.

    Normally this store is not a problem however today we go in with plans of buying a new phone and were greeted with, "OH, I'm leaving early because I have to pick up child." Say WHAT?? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? "You knew you had to get him/her so you make arrangements for either N employee to come in and cover for you or find someone to watch your kid." She says, "Well Cricket doesn't want my child here or else he would be here with me!!!" So then you close the store and they lose money. I don't get it, sorry. Rant over. Poulsbo store December 22.

    I recently had the misfortune of experiencing a highly frustrating situation with Cricket Wireless that has left me deeply dissatisfied with their service. In short, they double-charged me, turning what should have been a simple billing process into a headache. Firstly, I noticed an unexpected and unauthorized charge on my credit card statement. After some investigation, I realized that Cricket Wireless had billed me twice for the same service during the same billing cycle. This blatant double charge not only caught me off guard but also left me questioning the integrity of their billing system. Attempts to resolve the issue were met with a series of disappointments. Customer service was not only unhelpful but also seemed indifferent to the inconvenience caused by their mistake.     I had a iPhone that which one day decided to go into SOS. So I took the phone to Cricket, in hopes of fixing the issue! Apparently the SIM quit working, there was a eSIM. Instead of diagnosing the problem they had me buy another eSIM, the phone didn’t take it of course. So I wasted that $10, decided the phone was screwed and bought a brand new iPhone 14+ spent cash for this device that they also gave another eSIM with! Here I am a month later and decide I want to switch to another carrier. Guess what my $1200 phone is locked and I need to have service in this phone for 6 months! Bud I paid cash for ownership and have had cricket service for a few years. After explaining that he then turns my phone off adding another ESIM. I am very irate as my phone was off until arriving at the cricket store!

    I was on a bridge pay and they always send a text message reminding you. But I never received one and now I have to pay the full payment. Understand thats my problem but the lady on the customer service line wasn’t at ALL WILLING to help resolve the problem. Wouldn’t send me to a manager to talk to or anything talking about thats my problem and make the full payment. There wasn't a additional reactivation fee on my cricket app until after i got off the phone with her. If your on a bridge payment and you call rhat morning to pay it they should let you. Not make you pay the full payment with all these extra unnecessary fees. Their call service is always poor and never helps you with anything.

    Well wish I could give a ZERO star rating! At least last month the app would open, I just couldn't get signed into my account. I was able to sign into my account on the website though after a few days of trying. The month before I had trouble getting signed in either place for a couple days, but then was able to sign in on both. I've been trying for a week to get on the app or the website to pay my bill but the app won't open and I can't log in or even use the quick pay feature on the website. My only choice is to pay an extra $5 to pay over the phone and that's ridiculous! Don't waste your time with Cricket as they don't care about the customer at all, they just care about getting your money, but even that they only care about getting with extra tacked on!

    I was a Cricket Mobile customer for 5 over years. I wanted to keep a cellular data plan with Cricket after changing my mobile phone plan to another provider, however I quickly learned that Cricket’s marketing and customer service is laughably inept. First, they stated I could keep my current data plan for 15.00 a month since I only used it minimally. Great! However, when I actually used it, it showed 0.24 gb out of 0.24 gb was used. I then called to fix this because I would never have agreed to only 0.24 gb per month. Then they offered me another plan that was over twice the price, plus a connection fee. Based on this, I called to cancel.

    ‘’Fred” from customer service was extremely rude and repeatedly threatened to hang up on me, claiming I was talking too fast and mocking him. I simply wished to cancel my service but was exposed to an amazing amount of baseless drama. Possibly he was having a bad day. This was the most bizarre customer service experience I’ve had. Based on their initial bait-and-switch tactic followed by an absurd customer service experience I would never recommend Cricket Mobile.

    My phone couldn't call or receive calls or text messages. Went to retailer to have them turn my phone back on. Retailer said my phone was broken. I needed a new phone. Bought a new lower class phone. Pictures/videos were grainy and videos blurry (Motorola Razr). CA law gives 7 days to return a phone. Oh and they charge you a restocking fee. And oh yeah, and my phone wasn't broken. Guy put his sim card in my phone and it worked.

    So in order to turn my old phone on back onto Cricket ....I had to buy a new sim card???? And l can't upgrade for $200 credit toward a new phone, they said l used that credit up on the one l returned. I went online and yes he was right, l have no upgrade credit. I was a loyal premium account person. After this l am looking for a new carrier. Sadly.

    She told me not to come back after she could not fix my phone. How sad. She is new store manager on Homer Adams park way. Review would be lower. She let me pay my bill bill. Before she kicked me out. With broken phone, and told me not to come back. She needs to be replaced. I’m changing service. I don’t recommend Cricket.

    I've been with Cricket more than 5 years, I moved 20 miles away, got zero Internet, no tower close, because I got a phone three months earlier, they said I can't unlock, to change service, no service now, still paying, cricket doesn't care about a loyal customer, period, I don't recommend cricket to anyone!

    I bought and transferred a service from AT&T three days ago. I go to the store today as I was told to do so by Victoria who showed me this package not four dollars like I was told by for $98, to start with. Today Hannah, the manager refused miss service. She said she cannot transfer and do anything with my phone. Nothing so what am I supposed to do with the service Cricket? I'm supposed to just sit here with the phone and pay for it every month without being able to use it or transfer it. Because you don't have the cable that you need to transfer it. What kind of company is this, you're stealing money from your customers you're thieving me! I told you, Hannah, as I was walking out I told you Hannah I am going to review your company. And you left on my face and said, I don't care. As far as I'm concerned, I feel sorry for anyone that has to work for you that's **.

    Cricket Wireless is a scam. I will not even give them 1 star review. I have been trying to contact them for the last two months to cancel my service cause the service was horrible and the rates kept going up. When I called there they told me that I needed the pin that they sent to me. They never sent me a pin. They have never done any type of bill or paperwork that has been sent to me personally. The customer service is always hanging up on you or disconnecting. They are rude and they continue to keep taking my money even when I've asked them to cancel the service and explain that I've never received the four digit pin. They will not let me access any of my accounts or shut any of my phones off. I cannot recommend this company. Very dissatisfied and I plan on reporting on them to the Better Business Bureau.

    I purchased my Cricket phone under the no contract agreement paid for my phone straight out first day, then went to transfer. My service was told because I purchased my phone through Cricket I couldn’t do with my phone what I wanted for six months because it was purchased from them then once my transfer of service occurred, Cricket refused to give me the refund or even store credit my money back to me. They are liars and thieves. I will never use or suggest this company for anyone also during my Cricket experience, their insurance did not cover when I was having problems with my phone, I went through several people, including who was called supervisors, and that extra money for insurance was a complete waste when the problem and issue was with the phone itself. It hadn’t received any damage on my part. Cricket wireless is not to be trusted with your service your money or even respectfully your time.

    Cricket Wireless is a bunch of ripoffs. You can't pay your bill over the phone with your credit card. It declines your card but when you go to the Cricket store and pay it accepts it and they charge you extra money and won't waive the charge even though it's their own fault. They've been doing this to me for years and I'm over it. I've been a cricket customer for roughly 14 years and I'm tired of getting ripped off by them so if you don't want to get ripped off don't get a cricket phone.

    I wish could it 0 stars. Anyways I order a SIM card kit from this bogus company with the janky phone and services, I paid 65.98 on 10/02/23 and I received the SIM card in the mail to my address. So I received the SIM card and put it into my phone and soon I went to activate the SIM card is was locked, they didn’t set up a Cricket Wireless account for me, I didn’t have a pin access code and the SIM card was broken and defective. I went to cricket wireless on 10/04/23 and was there for 3 hours cause the young gentleman lied and said he could fix it when he couldn’t and explained your company sold me a broken, defective SIM card offline and he said “we apologize but it is nothing we could do about it.” I said, "Well can I get a replacement SIM card since this one doesn’t work in my iPhone 13," and he said “you have to purchase another one.”

    Now why would I spent another 65.98 for the same exact problem to happen all over again, they really think people stupid and don’t know what they doing. They are very slick and also BEWARE they SCAM and stole money out of my US BANK account when I provided documentation and proof of everything of the charges and SIM card not working and me going inside of they company. I want my 65.98 back into my account. I never had a problem with any phone company like this one here beside T-Mobile and Cricket wireless. Worst phone company ever. Honestly need be shut down, sued. But it is explains why they have a major lawsuit on them though.

    The staff was not dressed professional. They told me that I qualify for a government subsidy to cover the cost but never came through in delivering that after 3 visits to store. Three staff members were vaping in store, including the manager.

    After approx 15 years the connection speed and dependability got so bad I ported the line to Xfinity and Cricket had a block on porting and it took an hour going round and round. Horrible, avoid if you can.

    Hello.. I've been with Cricket Wireless for 8 years now and I really love being their customer always friendly and I never have any issues with them.. The only thing that bothers me is that me being with them as long as I have they never have great deals on phones for long time customers something like 50% off or 25% off phones for existing customers.. Was looking for a phone a Lil bit ago and the one I like was 299.99 for an upgrade..

    Cricket Wireless (NON) Customer Care. Stay away from Cricket Wireless!!!! I would like to share my experience with Cricket Wireless. To begin with I was moving out of state to Arkansas in an area that had very bad reception, so I stopped at a Cricket Wireless store and discussed my situation with a sales representative in Florida. I was told that it wasn’t a problem. They could take care of me. I told them that I needed a phone that was #1, unlocked so if I had to change carriers I could, and #2 that I didn’t want a contract so if the phone didn’t work, I could change carriers. They said, “No problem”.

    LIE #1. I found that I had zero coverage and wanted to change carriers, but the phone WAS locked. Went to the store in Arkansas and they told me they couldn’t help me - I would have to call Customer Service.

    LIE #2 I could go to any carrier and change service because there was no contract. I could not as the phone was locked. They are bouncing off ATT poles and I needed Verizon poles as I found other people who had Verizon or used carriers that bounced off their poles had no problems with reception.

    So, I they gave me a phone number to customer service. Here is my experience, which is deplorable. First of all I told them I was going to call inside their store as I wanted to be taken care of before I left. This was on October 18th. I bought the phone and started service on July 6th. The first lady I spoke with said that I had to wait 6 months before they could unlock it. I asked to speak to her supervisor as I needed to be able to use my phone at home and presently it totally useless to me.

    Another lady answered and I got the same result. I asked to speak to her supervisor. I ended up speaking to Manuel. He was totally useless and should be fired but I have no way to identify him. He first of all confirmed that the phone couldn’t be unlocked for 6 months. I asked to speak to his boss. He claimed that he didn’t have a boss. So I asked him if he owned the company, otherwise he must have a boss. He wouldn’t respond. I gave him 3 ultimatums. First he could unlock the phone. Second, he could give me an unlocked phone, the same model and I would give them back my phone, or they could reimburse me the $500 I paid for the phone as it was totally useless to me otherwise.

    LIE #3 He couldn’t do any of the 3 options. Everything is negotiable, and if you care about your customer, you try to make it right. He refused. After a while he said he had been on the phone with me for 17 minutes and I was wasting his time. I told him I had been on the phone an hour trying to get help and I wasn’t leaving the store until I had a solution. I even put the phone on speaker phone so all the customers could hear how the so called customer care really cared. I asked him to see in writing where I had to be with them for 6 months before I could get the phone unlocked.

    Better yet, I told him that since I was in the store, I would ask the sales people behind the counter for a copy. The lady shrugged her shoulders and said that she wasn’t aware of such a thing. She also said that they were never told about it in training. The other person who was a supervisor said the same and they were mortified as to how I was being treated. I later told them that if I was them I would look for a new job as I would not work for such a crooked company.

    LIE #4 After going around in circles with Hosea for about a half an hour, he mentioned something about his supervisor. I stopped him and said, "Oh, you do have a supervisor! You lied to me. I would like to speak to that person." He told me that they only take IMPORTANT calls. Well, that certainly made me as a customer feel special! I asked him to give me his last name as I wanted to report him and he refused. I also heard that the message could be recorded for quality control purposes so I asked to get a transcript of the recording and he refused. After about 45 minutes he hung up on me. The people behind the counter couldn’t believe it.

    Oh, it gets better. Within seconds my phone started beeping with text messages. He was sending the same message over and over in Spanish. I don’t know what it said as I was trying after about 20 messages to block it. Then, almost immediately it started to do the same thing on another strand and I blocked it. I have never seen anyone so unprofessional. He had the power to unlock my phone and make me happy, but refused to. I went on Cricket Wireless complaints on the web and found they have an approval rating of 1.6. Wow! Many complaints much the same as mine.

    I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and letting as many people as I can how rude and unprofessional this company is. If that is the kind of employee they hire, I am sure the company is no better. Just the fact that the store people have no knowledge of phones not being able to be unlocked for 6 months when they are trained reveals a lot. I hope this is helpful if you are considering them and that you will spread the message.

    I am always a pre planner on everything. I like things paid in advance. I was planning to change phone company's because it was more convenient for me. I went to ask for my $110 back that I put in for months in advance for the phone bill, and they refused to give it back! That's $110 I lost and really needed back! There was really no reasoning behind it. Just meaningless apologies. Overall, I still want my money back and am still upset over it. I don't recommend this place at all!

    The phone deals are bad. The Moto phone never gets updated. They could not care about you. They only care about new customers. After a year having your phone message will take long to come to a point of days late message. Would not recommend.

    I had lost my phone in my Uber and had to get a new phone at Cricket. The sales associate JoJo was extremely helpful beyond helpful. Not only did she help me get my discounts let me know that I could also get $30 off of my bill because I got food stamps, but she also ordered me an Uber to get back home. She is an asset to this company, it's wonderful to know that there are a great people out there. Jojo made my day so much better when it was horrible.

    To talk to customer service automated system It's a joke. 1 hour wait. Computer hangs up on you. By the time you get them on the line you're Mad. It's my big complaint with Cricket. Other than that A few weekends in the summer lines get clogged like traffic. I feel I should be compensated for Non service of any extended length. I plan to continue using Cricket. I leave this as fair warning. I do get service in most areas rural and city.

    Trash Service. Even though my phone shows 4/4 LTE+ signal, I get only up to 10MBps Download and 0.95MBps Upload Speeds. I even Missed my Zoom Meeting just because of this Trash Mobile Service. Do not Buy Cricket Service. Their Customer Support is also trash. Not helpful at all. Kept saying I should upgrade to a better plan for faster speeds. I mean Come on, YOU ARE USING THE SAME TOWERS NO MATTER WHAT PLAN YOU ARE ON! I'm Literally Pissed after talking to their customer service agent. Again, Never Buy Cricket Mobile Phones or Service. If you are trying to buy a plan from a phone carrier, Opt for T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, Metro, Or Spectrum, which are Cheap, Reliable, and Fast.     Cricket gives you $50 off a phone for an upgrade. But then they charge you $25 for upgrading your phone. If you switch from another company to Cricket you can get a new $500 phone for $100. But if you upgrade you pay $475. They don't care about their loyal customers. I'm about to start doing to them as they do us. I'm going to start switching carriers every 6 months and come back and get a new $500 phone for $100.

    I was told the lines were from AT&T and yet still dropped calls, static and hard to hear at times with places the phone doesn't even work. The big issue is the new phone, (Galaxy A54 5G) brand new they said. It's one of the worst phones I ever used and I've had cells for 30 years now. Every few weeks they update something and changes my settings all the time. Speed of phone is good, but things don't work, like time out of screen that never works and always shuts off in 5 seconds no matter how many times you change it. Settings that don't stay or work. Too many unsatisfactory things to write about here. Of course can't exchange or return after 15 days. Very unsatisfied now after three months. This can't be the phone Samsung sends them and they foul up the software at this company or these are problematic cell phones they get rid of with bugs. I'm sorry I changed over to them to get frustrated almost every day.

    On October 16, my five phone lines went to SOS mode. I went to a local Cricket store for help and they told me to call customer service. I felt like something was really wrong and went to the ATM to check my bank account, it was off. I froze all my accounts because someone sim swapped my phones and placed a fictitious name on my account. I still don't have access to my phones yet, but I finally have a fraud case reported after going back and forth between one store and customer service. It's really hard to trust anyone right now.

    I didn't have phone coverage for 2 weeks period. The support staff shrugged their shoulders and said, "Oh, well, go to the Cricket store." So I did. They gave me a new SIM. That didn't work so I was talked into buying a substandard. A phone that is locked period. The woman at the store did not tell me about requirements or time frames. Or anything like that? So I'm stuck with this brick forever forever. Unless I can figure out how to unlock it. It's worth it to get rid of cricket period. They have gone awful, truly awful period. I've been hung app on multiple times. Spent more than a week on the phone trying to get my phone service back up. Period. They left me on the side of the road with no way to call a wrecker to pick up my car. It was hours in a scratchy neighborhood. Uncool, they need to take it seriously that cell phones are the only phones that people have.

    One star is too much for them. I'd give them zero or negative stars if I could. On another topic, I noticed that cricket is advertising on this site. And only the good reviews bubble to the top. At first, you have to look for the bad ones. And boy, are there bad ones period. They also refuse to refund any money or help me with the phone. That promptly died about 8 days after I bought it. Well that's my story. Cricket has gone down the Tubes.

    I am attempting to leave a positive review wherever I can to show my appreciate for the amazing customer services at the Cricket Wireless store in Doral FL (Miami). While in Mexico, my phone was ported out (sold to another provider). I was beside myself because something like this had never happened to me before and I was without my phone number for 2 weeks. I was tempted to buy a phone card (for $100) but wanted to try to have Cricket help me first.

    The representative and her supervisor, (I apologize I don't have their names on the business card they gave me but they know who they are!) stayed with me after store closing hours for a 2-3 hour rigorous process wherein the national Cricket customer service line repeatedly transferred them from one associate or supervisor to another. The entire process was VERY frustrating but the staff kept their cool and handled it all like professionals. I will be writing a letter to corporate as well as this is the best customer service I've received in years!

    My phone # was transfered without my authorization. It took 18 days to get my number back. Never got any explanation from Cricket. They wanted me to pay my next bill even though I had no service. This created big issues for me. 2 credit cards opened, Paypal account was hacked, etc. I suspect a class action lawsuit would get Cricket to respond. Stay away.

    I've had Cricket Wireless for 6 years. For the most part it met my needs affordably. But if you have any type of issue customer service is useless. I called 4 times in the last month because I'm not getting 5g service, which is what I pay for. Twice I was hung up on. Twice I was told I would receive a call back and didn't. I was told I would be credited for the lack of appropriate service; I never received a credit. Cricket used to be a good deal. But anymore it's overpriced and underwhelming.

    I don't have internet. For $175.00 they set me up with a Motorola phone. They didn't tell me I'll need internet in my home, once I use 2 gigs of unlimited, because they slow you down at that point. I couldn't make calls inside. I dropped calls. People couldn't hear me. Texts didn't go through, much. I owe $501.00 for an upgraded phone and I upgraded to their $60 plan, guaranteed to solve my problem. 2 gigs later, I can't use my phone inside, and the hotspot worked about 3 minutes. Although I purchased the phone outright, it's locked with Cricket for 6 months. They never told me that. It's MY phone. I had to trade the phone at Verizon to get a great plan. $501.00 down the tubes. Everyone I've spoken to at Cricket says "I'm sorry to hear that ".

    I bought a phone 8 days ago. On the 8th day my phone stopped working. I spent 2 hours on the store yesterday and came home without a phone. They couldn't fix it. Today I went back and spent another almost 2 hours in the store. I finally asked for my money back. They can't give my money back. When I left with my broken phone I was told to try to figure it out on my own. I don't know what to do. I have a broken phone that they can't fix and I can't get a refund. I think the only qualification you need to work there is have a pulse.

    I attempted to bring my own device. I used their automated tool to verify my phone was compatible, and upon performing all of the required actions to transfer to their service including transferring my number and closing my account with my previous provider they told me my phone was not compatible. At this point they refused to give me a refund and instead attempted to pressure me into purchasing a new phone. When I refused to do this they informed me there was no way to get my original phone number back without using a compatible phone with their service to get a phone number transfer pin. This has been the most infuriating business I have ever dealt with.

    I bought a hotspot device when I was in school, from them. I was preparing myself to get back into school, so I went to have the device reactivated. However, the representative said I was able to reactivate the device, so I paid $25 for reactivation, and $90 for the plan. When I got home the device wouldn't work. I took it back the next day, and I was told the device shouldn't have been activated because of the time frame it had been inactive. I paid cash to have the services done, and they're telling me I can't be refunded. This is the second time this happened. I'm truly pissed.

    I have been a Cricket customer for years. I was happy with the service until the past several years over which time that service has been steadily deteriorating. The data connection been increasingly glitchy, slow and unreliable. The most recent development over the past year has been an increasing frequency of calls not coming through. These are calls when my phone is in my hand with the ringer and vibration on. I will get a prompt notification of a missed call though. When trying to contact customer all I can get are generic automated responses that are no help. The Mycricket app is useless unless it's to take payment. Taking your money always works. I have missed several important calls because of this. It's time to find a new carrier. It's always sad when a good company with good customer service goes downhill like this.

    I was with Cricket for 10 years. This last year, I updated my card. I then experienced autopay issues. Called bank, had bank call Cricket, etc...I was forced to pay a reactivation fee 3 months in a row. Now they are 'aware of an issue '. I left for Visible, they have no troubles processing my payment.     I needed a minimal use phone. I found a very small plan with them that I was led to believe was a good deal. I went in, purchased the plan, promotion phone, activation fee and put it on auto pay. I had the phone less than one hour when it said half my data was gone. Never even used it. I called customer support and some young lady told me that it was a bad program and I should remove the data tracker. I told her no way. That I felt there was something very wrong with this and I was going to return the phone and wanted my money back. She told me that my money would be returned in 3 to 5 days.

    Well it's been 7 so I called to check the status of my refund only to be told I was misinformed and I would not be getting a refund. I asked to speak with a manager and he said the same thing. I told him that I was told by a company representative that I would be receiving a refund and the call was recorded and they should honor what they tell a customer. I pretty much was laughed at. I feel this warrants more attention and I plan on getting their attention in every way possible.

    I had an account with Cricket Wireless for about 6 months. My experience was not a good one. First of all, if your monthly bill/payment is set up on auto-pay, they will deduct the payment from your card 1 or 2 days BEFORE your due date. Then they will argue and try to tell you that the date of the ACH deduction is your "actual" due date...even though the reminder text they send you, as well as the dashboard of your My Cricket app, both show a different date. And recently, I went into a Cricket Wireless store to ask about getting a print out of incoming calls/phone numbers for my last billing cycle.

    I was told to call customer service and they will be able to email me the info. I called customer service, and was told the ONLY way to get this information is to retain an attorney and send Cricket a subpoena; apparently I have to prove to them that there's a "legal reason" to get a list of the incoming calls to my phone number. WORST. CUSTOMER. SERVICE. EVER. I left and transferred my business to another carrier 2 days later. I'd give this company less than 1 star if I could.

    I give them one star because they have horrible customer service! I have been trying to downgrade and every time I call nobody calls me back or I automatically get hung up on for whatever reason. Today I’ve tried again for the sixth or seventh time. Again cannot get a hold of anybody then when I try a local store they tell me the only way to take care of my problem is that I actually have to drive to the store and take care of it! All I want to do is remove my protection plan for $11. I would not use them. I would not get a phone off of them because you will never get a hold of anybody. If you can’t do it yourself in the app you’re not getting any help and nothing's getting done until you waste your day running around to a store going in wasting your time in line to do whatever it is that you need to do.

    I have been using Cricket Wireless for 1 year now and seems they very weird policy that will only allow you to unlock device if sim is active and in service for 6 months for locked device you purchased. Which mean if you use sim in other phone the service days won't be counted. This policy is not good, or its sounds forcing customer to use their locked device whereas it should be customers independent choice to use other device when required. I see other provider don't have such policy which is fair. I won't recommend anyone to buy device with cricket network locked.

    Went here to get a new phone and was offered only 3 choices. I picked the one that the employee said was the best one. I used it and didn't like it and noticed I was not given a receipt. I called the store the same day I got the phone and informed the employee of my grievances. I had to call multiple times before she answered. She told me she offered me those phones because she thought that was all I could afford and was told to come back to the store for a receipt and refund. When I went back to the store I was told I had to go back the next day because she needed a manager. I go back the next day and was told by the manager that I could only get a small percent of my refund then I was told since I didn't get a receipt nothing could be done but tried to sell me another phone for almost $200.

    I called customer support and they told me to dispute the charge since they are refusing to give me a receipt or a proper refund. The manager also informed me that he was getting multiple complaints about the employee and would said there would be disciplinary actions but I doubt he did anything. Now I'm stuck with a 4G phone I don't want when I had a 5G phone. This was NOT an upgrade for me. Don't let these people scam you out of your money because if you don't look like them and share that culture this could happen to you too.

    When I call customer service, I am told "due to higher than normal call volume wait time is longer than expected." Wait time never less than 22 minutes. During the wait it gives me the option to transfer to the website (press 9) or continue to hold (press 2). Without fail at exactly 7 1/2 minutes I get that prompt again but it then says to confirm your transfer say "yes" or press 1. I never chose to transfer in the 1st place. When I don't confirm the transfer it says "Thank you for calling Cricket, have a nice day, goodbye". This never fails to happen. I never get my issue resolved because I never speak to anyone. I go to the store to resolve the problem and get treated like garbage by the all "** staff".

    I honestly believe their live representative customer service is non existence. I believe they lie and say there is a long wait time to deter people from waiting on hold to funnel them to the app or website. Why else would it, at exactly 7 minutes and 30 seconds, force the transfer that I NEVER OPTED FOR, then hang up on me for not confirming a choice I never made. CRICKET SHOULD HEAR CRICKETS FROM THE LOSS OF CUSTOMERS.

    I've had Cricket service for almost 30 years. Service has gone down since AT&T acquired the company. Just recently, per a store's advice, I opened a new account with 4 lines and purchased two phones closing my old account. I logged into my app to make a payment putting in my current phone number and paid $158 for service. This payment was applied to the closed account by the app without any indication. I went into the store to find out that Cricket would not reverse the charges even though I didn't have those phone lines. I paid a $90 bridge payment to activate the current lines and wait until Monday when I could speak to the owner of the store.

    Monday arrives and I speak with the owner to determine that nothing can be done. He did fix my app account so that I wouldn't have this issue again and watched me pay the remainder of the bill on the app. Everything seemed good. Well, no. The payment didn't post to my account and phones were shut off. I called Cricket and they said that was too bad but now the $90 payment for the bridge is gone and they want another full amount of $150 plus reactivation fee of $15. That's over $400. No acceptance that it was a problem with the app which, BTW l, is showing different amounts and a disclaimer acknowledging that the amount shown is not correct.     My husband passed away in June. The local store was to disconnect his phone and make me primary. They messed up the ACP and autopay and login and so within 2 weeks, they suspended my service in the middle of the night and don't open til 10 am. I couldn't log in to pay since the login no longer worked after my store visit so had to pay via phone with an additional service charge plus reconnect fee. After 20+ minutes holding every time you call, I got nowhere with their incompetence. Wouldn't refund anything even though I was on autopay and shouldn't have had this happen. I disputed the overage with my bank and then decided to eat the cost and tried to cancel the dispute so Cricket didn't shut me off again. But it was already done and 2 weeks later, again shut off middle of the night and had to pay reconnect and service fee to pay by phone.

    I was going to switch carriers before the next billing 9/22. Yet on 9/1, woke to find service suspended again. 2 hours to get through chat then phone queue and supervisor. She swore my bank did another charge back 3 days ago and so I had to pay the charge back plus reconnect. So I go to Straight Talk. My son's phone is locked and they won't unlock it. Just bought it 6 or 7 months ago and paid in full! Crooks and thieves.

    Every time I called, they gave me a different excuse as to why they couldn’t unlock my phone. Not to mention getting hung up on and not being called back. And even though I have receipts from my phone purchase they proceeded to tell me I didn’t buy the phone with them. I went back to the store I purchased my phone at and they denied the store too. Even they were frustrated and agreed I met the unlock criteria.

    I will spare you from the 7 hours of my frustrating experience. I now have to go spend a few hundred dollars to get an unlocked phone (the same one I currently have which is so stupid) when they can just unlock what I have. I think they made an error on my IMEI code prior to selling me my phone. I wish they would just make it right. I just needed to be on a different network for three weeks in Europe and had planned to get my phone running on Cricket once I returned. Sadly if they are still unable to unlock my phone, I am unable to return to the service and will pay more elsewhere for better customer service. This review is null and void if they are able to do what is right and unlock my phone. Again, I have met the 6 month criteria and there isn’t a logical or real reason why they can’t unlock my phone. Cricket if you read this, please just help do what you promised.

    Service sucks! Nickel and dime you the whole way. Phone calls drop all the time or takes forever to ring. You order service online and service cut off over and over. Then your told you purchased something else forcing you to put up more money. Not worth the headache. Cricket is way better.

    On 8/18/23 I bought an iPhone 14 Pro Max, it was supposed to arrived Monday 8/21/23. Well it did not. I created a report with FedEx on 8/21. On 8/22/23 I contacted Cricket that the phone was lost. The lady said "Don't worry about it. FedEx will tell you the outcome." So today 8/25 the case with FedEx is closed and they said contact the provider for reshipping or refund. I called cricket to tell them outcome. They said to have FedEx open the case number account because without an open case they can't do anything. So I called back Fedex. She said, "Cricket can still file a claim with us even if the case is closed," called cricket customer service. They said "I can't help you you need to go to the store because the phone was purchased at the store not online."

    I asked to speak with a manager 20 mins later. He comes on the line to say, "Sorry I can't do anything. You have to contact the store manager for resolution." At this point I'm done going back and forth. I said I just want my money back.. I'm done going multiple times to the store and calling customer service and not getting anywhere. So I will be meeting a manager hopefully today to get my money back.

    I showed up at Cricket Wireless off Fillmore in Colorado Springs 30 minutes before closing and I was porting my phone from the ridiculously lame Straight Talk to Cricket. I was hooked up with a new Moto G Stylus and a cheaper phone plan. Roman the manager he took such good care of me. I just made me realize that there are still good people in the world. I would recommend to anybody to go to Cricket Wireless. He actually stayed an hour and a half late just to get my phone switched over because Straight Talk was giving me such a hard time. Very happy with the phone. Very happy with the customer service and I was even short $5 and he took it out of his own pocket to give to me so I can walk out of there with brand new phone case, phone, and shatterproof screen, and my plan is cheaper than it was.     I have had issues with my internet on my phone for 2 months Cricket never fixed. I pay for insurance monthly to be able to fix a device if broken and now I'm told after paying my bill and the extra monthly for insurance that not only is my phone not in stocks it's in a back order so no phone for a two line contract and don't even know when I will have a replacement item.     We had to pay $90 for more data on our Cricket Wireless hotspot just yesterday and received a confirmation message. Today - the hot spot did not work again, and there is no way to even log in with the app. So we called the 800 CRICKET phone number and had to wait and wait and wait. We called the store where we purchased the hot spot, and they said we had to come in to the store in person to get anyone to help. So we kept calling the 800 number.     I was told they would have very good coverage where I needed. I was less than bad. No service. I called their service center just as bad. When I told them it was not working all they said was stop in they would take care of it. They offered me nothing. They don't do refunds. $220.00 for no service.     I have tried to change my number with no success. Their chat setup is a robot that is not programmed to say anything useful. I called the 800 number and the first time the agent hung up on me. And the second time the man told me tough luck. They suck. I wish I had never heard of them. I would now like to terminate my service with them, but I'm going to have to wait until my next bill is due because they won't even do that for me. I've never seen such a sorry customer support center in my entire 59 years of life and I hope I never do again. I would not refer my worst enemy to Cricket. They don't even need to have a customer support center because they're not worth two cents.

    I wouldn’t recommend Cricket to my dog. They are scams. They just take your money and that's it. I switched carriers today. Had to spend more but it's okay. At least I'm finally getting what I paid for. Cricket services sucks. Constantly drop calls. Customer service aren't professional.     Called to get a number transfer pin. Took 2 days of being on hold only to have the representative give me another number to call, just goes back to the same place. Still no pin!     I got my phone and somehow thought I would know everything as to using it that day. Please go when you have no other personal problems you're working on. I was out of line but this nice man was nice trying to help me. One thing was I was put in a higher plan and they straightened it all out. By the time I calmed down and had time to learn my phone better my phone is so fabulous and far updated from the phone I had. I am so happy now with the Cricket phone. It is a dream to use and the layout is so detailed that it took me a little while to learn. I want to thank the company for their patience and understanding.     On July 3 2023 I received a text message confirming that a payment had been deducted from my checking account for the amount of $63.00, when I went to use my phone there was no service, I couldn't make or receive a call, I immediately went to the Cricket wireless store to speak with an employee who was totally incompetent and told me that I no longer had that phone number which I've had for the past 20 years that is both my personal and my catering business number, the employee told me that the number was given to a woman named Heidi **. I started receiving mail from different banks where someone was applying for credit cards and bank loans, because of the lethargic employees my business was losing $150-$200 dollars daily, so I'm in the store.

    I have no way to contact cricket customer service regarding this issue. The employees would not make an attempt to help me with this matter. They never offered me a phone to contact a manager, I had to actually pay for service on a new phone to try to resolve the issue. I have been calling the customer service line daily to get some help but it seems as though no is competent enough to help resolve the problem, I called my bank to stop the payment which created a bigger problem, the bank froze my account. Now I can't pay my bills, after receiving the new bank card 4 days later I called cricket again and spoke to some that I couldn't understand what they were saying, it's been a month. Today is August 1 2023. I received a notice from Capital one stating that there was a charge on my credit card for $63.00 that I never authorized so I'm back at the cricket wireless store again.

    When I mentioned to the employee what the problem was she turned to me like a raving manic and told me in her words, "Get The ** Out My store" and threaten to call the police on me. Now is this any way to treat your customers, this is not good customer service at all. If she was one of my employees she would have been terminated by lunch time,

    Do not get any kind of Samsung phones. The Samsung internet will start spamming your phone at any and all hrs.     I have been on hold for over three hours then the cs rep comes in and tells me steps to do and doesn't even want to wait for them to get done. I paid off my phone! Why is it still locked? I asked to speak to the supervisor because it was clear that the lady was reading from a script and was not interested in seeing if anything worked. I am totally disgusted by this company. Now it is another 2 hours and 17 minutes and still NO SUPERVISOR. I have NOT gotten my pricked solved and will put this on EVERY SOCIAL MEDIA PLACE I KNOW!     Unless you want one of their spyware-infested devices or feel like spending a fortune on a new iPhone for compatibility with their network they are pretty useless. If you have an Android device, they may block it on the Cricket network even though they work on the AT&T networks and Cricket is a subsidiary, such as MIUI devices. Mine was an expensive MIUI 10T Pro Global that works on any CDMA network, if they allow it. They will sell you a SIM card for $30, tell you they don't know why it doesn't work in the store, and contact customer service, which says your phone is not compatible and will not offer a refund for the useless SIM card. (My bank will be reversing transactions).

    If you ask them to provide a phone for the SIM card cost for a compatible device, they are like a Deer in headlights. As for their pricing, which is decent but not the lowest, is unexceptional. They also have recurring payment issues that discontinue your auto pays so they can charge the extra $5. The network speeds are pathetically lame on fake 5G which is boosted 4G and does not have the 5 bandwidth but still tries to use the frequency. While working with their customer non-service, the only conclusion I could come to from the lack of information or assistance was - Cancel Cricket, get someone else, and have my bank reverse their transactions because they aren't willing.

    I have had this issue multiple times but this time I called them on it. I paid my bill in full and then 2 days later my phone was suspended. When I called they said it was because I paid $5 dollars too little and in order to continue my service I had to pay a reinstatement fee and another month bill.     Never had any issues with Cricket till last week. My phone was suddenly shut off. Two days later my bank account got hacked. Bank couldn't contact me for strange transactions. I suspect an employee. I could not understand the foreign woman online (Spanish), and when I asked for supervisor she trf me to a line that nobody answered. Next day I was told by a store clerk that my phone was shut off for a recon fee. We all know we not gonna get your phone on unless you pay. I did this, even though wrong, to get it back on. When it still didn't come on, then clerk delved in account and found that I was blacklisted, cannot have that number again. She said CS in Florida.

    A review of my email address shows an unidentified IP address l used in Hollywood, FL, so my theory of bad employee and boyfriend (Jimmy **) using Zelle @ **. Got new phone and filed complaint with Cricket. But they won't own up to their system being hacked. Tried to get into another bank account to trf money thru Zelle using an email address of a gmail.com but failed. "They have been seeing this alo", therefore Cricket just admitted they have a weak system. Then had the nerve to ask me if I still want that number and service!

    I had purchased a Cricket hotspot service 50mb a month. This data would allow for 833 hours of computer usage, or 600 hours of streaming. 18 Days into my billing I received a notice that I was over my usage. I called customer service and the lady on the phone I could not understand. I asked to talk to a manager, the call was transferred and I was on hold for 45 min. I drove down to the Carson City store to get the help I needed and was told again I was over usage. I asked the Manager to understand that this could not be the case as it is just my husband and I at home and we work all day during the week so that would mean we would have to be on the internet more than 46 hours a day for 18 days to use this kind of data. I asked to have it reset. The answer was no. My only choice was to upgrade to the highest 100 mb a month.

    Cricket is a scam! You set up service with them and then they say you are over usage just to get you to upgrade the account for more money. DO NOT use Cricket!!!! The staff is unfriendly and do not want to help! The Manager at the Hwy 50 store will not help you! They have no customer service, the staff is rude, unfriendly and they do not care if you cancel your account, which is what I just did.

    One day my phone stopped working. Cricket said I no longer had an account. Why? Cricket ported my telephone number to another carrier without my permission or even my knowledge. They send you a text when they are about to bill you each month but NO TEXT when they are about to port your phone number without your permission? The thieves now had access to EVERYTHING on my phone and stole whatever they could: email accounts, credit cards, bank accounts, brokerage accounts and this only scratches the surface. Their horrific customer service then threw gasoline on the fire. I was never able to contact one competent person. All they did is read a bunch of lies off their computer screens. STAY AWAY FROM CRICKET. They are dangerously incompetent.

    EVERY SINGLE TIME that I call them, there is at least a 15-20 minute wait! THEN, they STILL do not resolve the issue. In fact I one time had to call them EIGHT times, spending at least 45 minutes on each call! (No kidding!) to get my problem resolved. Their CSR's are totally untrained or inept. Today I dreaded calling them. All I wanted to do was give them my new debit card #.

    I tried to do it on their app and if it's do-able there I could not figure out how. So I go to their website. Same thing. WHY on earth would this be a difficult thing to get done? Either their app and site are so badly organized I couldn't find it, OR - and it's almost for sure this - it is not possible... So I called them. Amazingly got through but only to an automated service. The PHONE MENU asked for my new card # and security # and everything. I was desperate to get it done so I did it. Well after I gave it to them there was NO DOUBLE CHECK to make sure they got the right number!

    So I called back to talk to an operator. They said "20 minute wait" ("Unusual wait time") NOT UNUSUAL AT ALL! IT'S ALWAYS LIKE THIS! So I gave up and can only HOPE they don't cut me off because the bot got the number wrong. RIDICULOUS! I HATE THEM! Going to look into changing to a new carrier but I bet that's a big hassle too...

    I purchased a Cricket Influence cell phone because I was strapped for cash and desperate need of a phone. It is equipped with a newer version of Android, which I prefer, but that's where the similarities with Samsung Galaxy stops. This phone is cheaply made, you can't find screen protectors or cases unless you return to Cricket and it drops service when it wants to. Now the phone is literally burning power cords, melting two already this evening. If you need a cheaper phone but want quality as well, don't even look at this phone. Paying a few more dollars for a better brand pays off in the long run.

    Where to begin? My initial phone number was one digit off the phone number of the busiest pharmacy in my area. OVER 2000 phone calls. At one point my phone showed 225 unanswered text messages. I was receiving no texts. I got hacked and cloned on Facebook, the hacker had his own id for my account. After buying 2 new phones, on one the on/off button wore out, on the other.... IT couldn't be unlocked, l went to Mexico. The phone worked at one hotel (free wifi), I went to a sister hotel, right next door. SAME Hotel chain. LOST service for 10 days, all my trip info on the phone. Not once during any of this was Cricket any help at all. In fact, trying to reach them, and get someone who could speak enough English to help was impossible. COUPLE THAT with a refusal to even give a partial refund, and I finally left cricket for BOOST.

    I was very happy with Cricket until I needed to login to my account to update my new debit card information for autopay. I tried and tried to login with no success. I requested my password, entered my phone number but never received the text from Cricket! I tried over and over. I chatted with the automated system which also was no help at all. The next day my service was shut off. I had to call Cricket and update my info plus pay an extra $19 to reactivate my service! Cricket should have let me make these updates before my service was cancelled. This is VERY FRUSTRATING! Cricket is no longer the best in my book.

    Don't buy online. I would give this a zero if I could. I ordered the SIM card kit and was "upgraded to an e-sim" which is not what I ordered and I would have cancelled the order if they had told me. I wanted a SIM card because the phone doesn't support e-sim, another phone on my plan did though.. I couldn't cancel the order, get a refund or switch to a card the thing I ordered and was told to issue a chargeback through my bank if I felt like I wanted the money I paid back. Of course that cancels the phone lines you need to reactivate for $15. Going from 5 lines for 100 to 130 (30%) price increase while screwing over long standing customers isn't a great look.

    I had service with Metro for over 12 years with no problems. I switched to Cricket a couple of months ago. I ran into some issues and wanted to go back to MetroPCS. Cricket is now holding my AZ phone number hostage. A number that I have had for some years now. I made a huge mistake by switching over to cricket. I would never recommend Cricket to anyone. Never in a day. Cricket is the worst when it comes to customers wants. So now Cricket owns my phone number. Cricket is so full of it. Please keep the service that you started off with if it is not Cricket.

    They get ACP benefit payments and still charge full price for service and when busted, they refuse a refund. Then go back and try to edit payment history and fail to realize I have copies and also bank statements. This company is trash!

    I was forced by Cricket to get a new phone about 2 yrs ago because they were going to 5G and they said my old phone would no longer work. I was offered a free phone, the Dream, which was a nightmare, terrible phone from the beginning. Recently, as a matter of fact April 2, 2023, I was forced to update my phone and as a result I was no longer able to send or receive texts. I called Customer Service so many times the next two days and they would get texting to work for one text and then it would go out again.

    After being frustrated for a week, I went to the store and purchased the Moto because I was told it was a good phone. Not! I was helped by Kyleigh and I thought she was helpful. She told me that I would get 3 accessories free - the cover, the screen saver and I had a choice of a third so I chose the power bank. After dealing with this phone for about 5 days and not liking the missing features I was used to, I decided to go back in before my 7 day return window was up. As I was looking at my receipt, I noticed that I was charged for those 3 items.

    While in the store I talked to Sarah about my issues with the phone I was told the features that I was used to were no longer available on new phones. Bummer! And I was told that this phone was the best I could get. I discussed the free items and I was told that Kyleigh should not have said anything was free. In fact, a little girl that was training even told me that at my age I should know that nothing is free. I was ok with keeping the cover and screen saver because if I had ordered from Amazon I would have had to nervously wait for them to arrive but that power bank was $49! Sarah was able to contact her supervisor and $54.11 was refunded to me. A week later I am still trying to deal with this phone and now it is too late to return it. I am thinking of chucking this phone and looking into buying a refurbished iPhone from Amazon. I have been with Cricket for over 25 yrs. You would think that I would get better treatment.

    Honestly their coverage area was pretty great for the little bit of short distance traveling that we do, but I got fed up with having a long standing account and never seeing any benefit to it. Pre existing account owners get zero discounts on phones, ever, like ever, and they add an additional $25 activation fee on top of the full price phone because they require you to get a new sim card with every new phone. 15+ years with them and they don't give a crap. Now that everywhere else has plans with same price point, and usually offering better plans for the same price, and deals on phones after your renewal time, there was just no point in sticking around anymore.

    Bought Cricket Hotspot 100 gig plan because it was supposed to work in Mexico. It did not work from the time we crossed the Mexican border until we crossed back into Texas 5 months later. Cricket refused to compensate in any way despite saying that they would early on in the total failure of service. This does not work in Mexico as guaranteed by ads, and then by customer service once failure begins. They try to keep you hanging on to service. $500 completely down the drain. Rancid service all around.

    I transferred my number from T-Mobile and I asked if I should because they were hacked and was told, "You'll be fine." NOT! I've had more issues than Ever! Losey customer service and so far 9 hours in store and many calls. I'm so stressed and angry. Called Moto, Cricket customer service and the store I signed up with. They expect me to pay another $30 to get a new SIM card and phone number. It's not my fault they screwed up! They didn't even know Android is owned by Google.

    If I could leave ZERO stars I would, Cricket Wireless does not care for their customers at all. Customer Support is not helpful nor is the Supervisor, I wouldn't RECOMMEND them for anything phone nor internet. I don't even know and how they are still in service, Please if you have a choice for a Cellphone provider Please go with them instead of Cricket Wireless.

    I was forced to upgrade my phone for 5g rollout, during the same time I was offered a phone as part of the upgrade. I ended up not using the phone but I stayed with the service. Now after 15months now when I tried to use the phone, it will not unlock. Even though I was with other service and technically paid off the phone. They don't unlock saying I must use the sim card in the phone they sent for 6 months to unlock the phone. I either force myself use an old phone or throw the phone out. They don't care, dumb customer care just repeats it is our policy nothing we can do. The whole point of giving phones at discount is it keep customers not to make their life miserable. That too when they force me to upgrade my phone as they listed my phone will not work once they roll out 5g. Here is comment from the customer care "It doesn't matter you paid full price for the phone or not".. when the hell they understand you paid for the device means you should own.

    I purchased a phone from Cricket several months ago. The phone that I purchased was a new model and the cheapest they had. It was such a new model they didn't even have a case for it. The design was so bad that just pressing my face against the phone put people on hold. I was paying for tethering for my laptop. Useless half the time because I couldn't get an internet connection with it. The internet speed on the phone was so slow I couldn't play music video half the time. Right before I switched companies, no internet at all on the phone. No partial refund when I switched.

    This company would even let me to change my number without pay extra money. I told them what was going on. I asked to speak with a supervisor and he was very rude and hung up on me. This isn’t a good phone company. It’s been more than one problem with this company.

    Cricket is a disgusting. Internet internet speed is zero. I write to chats every day no one has ever helped. In the Cricket store they said it’s my problems we can’t help in any way. I use the 60 dollars plan, it's terrible, never come to Cricket, before that there was a Tello Mobile and unlimited costs 30 dollars. I switched from buying an iPhone 11, now I have to use bad internet.

    I have been with Cricket for years and on Tuesday my phone stopped working indicating I could only place 911 calls. Long story short...Cricket allowed my phone to be ported to a phone in FL despite my having a code required to make any changes. Within minutes, my bank account and Charle Schwab account were hacked as I had saved the passcodes on my phone. I tried to contact both and Cricket but my verification was a text to my phone number that the criminal had. I got home from work and was able to freeze both accounts until I went in the next day in person with my ID. KICKER-my husband's phone was also stolen around the same time. We had to go the neighbors to try and freeze his accounts as well. Mine were good...his was not. His bank had over $3500 transferred through the criminal adding his name to his Zelle and transferring.

    When my husband requested an investigation he discovered 3 days later when he had time to go in person that the criminal had called and the bank and said it was a mistake!!! The investigation was stopped!!! **! He had also, changed my husband's email address to the same but @ aol.com instead of gmail.com. No help from Cricket. They actually hung up on me. I'm mad and a little scared. The other part is that I am reading on the Cricket community site that this has been happening for several years with no responsibility being taken by Cricket. Don't use this company.

    You must keep paying for service for 6 consecutive months in order for Cricket to unlock a phone. Don't waste money outright paying for their spendy gadgets... They'll end up useless bricks if you end up needing to leave before 6 months with your CURRENT DEVICE. So if you lost the first outright paid for one, and paid outright for a replacement... The count resets. 6 more months of service now, yay.. :) My niece will have a new play phone without a sim, I guess.

    I’ve had Cricket Wireless for about 2 months now and I honestly wish I would have just stayed with Boost or at least went to another company. A week after buying our iPhones my husband and I have had issues with data slowing down significantly off and on we took them back to the store for an associate to fix but the data still kinda sucks. A few days ago I took the phone back to see if they could fix my phone because while I thought it was due to the data slowing down before, my phone will not support YouTube videos. It plays sometimes, but most times it always says “something went wrong” whenever I try to stream any videos. Eventually I was not able to play videos on barely any of my streaming apps. I tried updating, deleting and downloading them back. Same result.

    The same associate (obviously tired of me needing my phone fixed) blamed it on me having too many apps opened (it’s been doing that since I first bought the phone) and the YouTube app needing to be updated. All he did was update the app and sent me on my way because the video began to play. I told him that I’ll be back the videos stop playing again since nobody believed that I had a real issue with streaming on my phone. At this point I don’t even want to go back to get it fixed. I honestly wish I could just get my money back and switch to total wireless instead because all apps on my phone and here am yet again with a fully updated YouTube telling me “something went wrong”. I would not recommend Cricket Wireless.

    I put a double payment in with Cricket in the amount of $68. I asked for one of the $68 back and they would not give it back to me so they did everything in their power to keep the $68 by lying and being con artists of thieves. They shook my phone off and said that I was no longer on the connectivity program okay and that my phone wasn't compatible but crap you're the one that gave me the phone when I applied for cricket so they said that they had to turn off the ACP. Well ACP said all they had to do was transfer it to that phone number of my granddaughter because it was on my account. Okay I did not switch accounts providers and nobody so they should have kept it on and not have turned it off but they did it anyway so by doing that I still wanted to try to charge me $98 because without the $30 being paid by ACP it only been $68.

    Well they try to charge me $98 but I got that finally straightened out when I had to go through an arm and leg just to try to get it straight now and the guy said the reason why I'm being charged $98 is because I'm no longer on the ACP. Okay well I said boo crap cuz I was only paying $68. He goes, "Yeah that's what you was on ACP." But they should have never turn my ACP off so by doing that to try to keep my money from them returning it and they said that they sent the money back to my bank when I disputed it. **. The banks never sent it back when you do something because they know you want your money back so they don't send it back to cricket so that's why they become the biggest liars around because they try to say that my bank sent it back to them.

    They never sent it to my bank because they the bank said so but anyway they're such big liars and such big thieves criminally minded con artists. That's one thing I would never ever do and I hope nobody else gets stuck in position I did because it's very frustrating that you have to go through stuff like this just to get $68 from a multi-million corporation. Boy could you call greedy, greedy, greedy people. My review and I'll stand by it all the way.

    Took out $60 for a $30 bill. When I complained, Cricket Didn't reimburse. Instead they Credited me. That means they hold my money for at least an extra month. They also lost my lifeline service and didn’t even credit me when they did have it. Greedy Cricket.

    Cricket Wireless never gave my friend I referred or myself the$ 25.00 credit. We both got confirmations in our Cricket app. The confirmations disappeared and after contacting cricket multiple times by phone and chat, we both were called liars. This company has horrible customer service and horrible phone wait time. We were both told to go to a local cricket store to resolve the problem. When my friend arrived they were told the store could not even look at our accounts. Sounds to me like Cricket tried to pass the buck. I am switching to another carrier. The $ 25.00 is not a big deal its the principle of being lied to. Their chat app is a joke too.

    I’ve been a loyal Cricket customer for 3 1/2 years, never upgraded & when I needed an upgrade I could get no action from Cricket (they wanted to charge full price plus upgrade fee) so I was forced to go elsewhere and had to cancel my Cricket Service which I prepay a month in advance. I was only 5 days into my billing cycle when I canceled. They told me I will not be refunded for the service that was not used or data that was not used. The CSR Supervisor admitted on a recorded line that they were stealing my money & it was theft on Cricket's part and a few minutes later recanted his statement. He said it was their policy not to refund pre-paid service & their policy trumps the law. So needless to say I was robbed by this company after being a loyal consumer for years. They get away with theft because they know no one is going to pay $300 to file a civil lawsuit for $40.

    Tonight, I called 611 for Cricket Wireless to add the Canada/Mexico plan. I was unable to see it under any Tab. I then called the 800 number for Cricket Wireless and was informed there would be a 6 minute wait. After 6 minutes elapsed a new recording started informing me of a new 24 minute wait period. After a combined total of 39+ minutes I hung up. Worst Customer Service!

    So, my old card I was using to pay Cricket got lost and I put info of my new card on file and even set the Auto Pay and guess what, on the day of the charges they didn't charge my card but cut off my services and asked for extra $15 for reactivation, called their customer services, explained everything and they said that anyway I have to pay the fee for reactivation even I put new card info before charges. Tried to make a payment but the system is off and not working. Site is not working, app is not working, customer service is horrible. I was with cricket for 8 years but is enough, something is happening here. I read all last comments about this company and everybody has problems. Guys the right decision is to move to another carrier.

    I've been having an issue with my HBO MAX account. Every time I call, I have to start over. They don't keep records of your calls so they can see the history. Then they hang up on you. -20 STARS!!! Is what I would give if I could. Hours spent on the phone just to be hung up on. Paying for services that I can't get. Hours of my time wasted and nothing gets done. Even though they are very inexpensive, the customer service ruins it and I can get a cheaper service that has better customer service. They read from scripts and when you need more help, you hold forever then get hung up on.

    I tried to get a data only Netgear box activated and was refused. They said I had to have HD and VoLTE capability. For a data plan? I also tried a Pixel 3aXL and told no. This was using CHAT. So I asked for a refund of $30 since I never got 'off the ground' and and never activated the service for one minute. And they REFUSED! I'm calling my bank. Also their phone service sucks. You're on hold too long and it seems to go in a circle and put you back in the queue at the end of the line - while saying it won't be but 6 minutes when it's much more. So I went over to CHAT and they are very brazen. They're refusing to discuss getting a refund for service denied. And sending canned responses. I thought they would be nicer than the death-star AT&T but they are definitely a part of the AT&T arrogance.

    I am a disabled person who uses my phone as an Alternate Communication Device and to help me navigate living in an unfamiliar city, and this company is the worst I've gotten a phone through so far. The in store customer service are unable to actually help with any issues, warranty replacing phones takes several days even if they have the phone in stock in store, clerks are unable to actually help with most issues I had, they charge $4 for using the in store system to pay bills, and had suspended my account due to non-payment before 2pm on the day it was due.

    I bought a phone from one location, was lied to at that store about the benefits of signing up for the warranty plan, the phone was immediately stolen (within a week) and I was originally told I could go to any store and just get it replaced. I was unable to locate the original store so went to a different location where I was told it would be about $200 to replace the phone I'd just bought for free and was told would be able to get replaced for completely free. I didn't have the money to buy a new phone because I'm on a fixed income and had to wait until my next check came in. When I went, my service had already been 'suspended due to non-payment' and I had to pay $80 to reactivate it even though I went in on the day the bill was due.

    The clerk at the second location talked me into just buying an "$80 phone" (that actually came to over $120) that they had in the store, told me it was a new phone (it was not, it was refurbished and has someone else's old data clogging up the memory storage and I can't figure out how to properly reset it myself). The clerk did not print out the claim forms she was supposed to give me for the first phone, did not show me how to set up my phone or get into my voice mail, when I returned to the store to at least try to find out how to access my voicemail a different clerk was there and had no idea how to use the phone she was supposed to be showing me how to use, the service is spotty at best, the phone battery drains suddenly at random or just turns of at random. Definitely would not recommend.

    I've been with company over 7 years always pay bridge pay due to how my pay period falls. My bill came to total $102 due by the 19th I paid $47.00 with card ending in 6276 on day of before 11:59 pm to avoid penalty and enrolled in bridge pay which requires you to pay remainder 7 days out for extension of service. I called 611 to see the remainder balance which was provided by automated service of $64 and with fee $67 but if you utilize the app, you're not charged fee. So, I used app and paid $64 received a text reminder to my daughter's phone for $2.00 due before 11:59 pm on 2.5.23.

    I was sleep. Never didn't see text 'til following morning tried to pay the balance due of $2.00 dollars and it ask me for $57 to restore When the bill was paid on time. The customer service rep and manager were very unprofessional and argumentative the entire time instead of trying to resolve the issue at hand for a $ 2 dollar difference. I feel penalizing me 57 dollars is absurd.

    I have had Cricket for many years, and I try not to call Customer Service for anything, I do everything online. The wait to get anyone to help is a minimum 1/2 hr. When you get someone, they are not helpful and direct you to the MyCricket app. Try to refer a friend and it's so cumbersome and annoying! I gave up and called CS to ask them to apply a credit and said they could not! The reason I keep this is because it works off AT&T wireless service and works very well for me. The cost is a bit less expensive if you do direct bill to a credit card. I'm sure there are other services out there that I may eventually need to explore.

    We paid Our 4 Line account The day before it was due. The next day we find out they’ve shut one of our phones off. Went by store to get it turned back on and employee said we had to buy another SIM card. We refused and told them all they needed to do was turn on the phone they had mistakenly turned off. She refused and called the police on us and had my husband trespassed from the store. So we have a phone paid for until 2/28 that can’t be used. I would give them zero stars if I could and will be changing carriers for all our family phones which are about a dozen in all. We’ve had problems with their service not working right for last 4 months also.

    Getting a line in Cricket is the worse experience you'll ever get. First off, I went to get a 4 line family plan in my area in Delano, CA and the lady there gave me a price of $260 dollars. It's a 4 line family plan which is a plan I had previously, which only suppose to cost $100 a month plus cost of sim card which is 10 dollars each. How the heck was I being charged 260 dollars for it. Activation fee is literally free if you order it online. This lady was clearly trying to pocket that 100 plus dollars. I swear this company is like a cars salesman company. They will never be honest of the real price of their product, instead try to suck as much as they can from you. This isn't my first bad experience either with this company but that's a different topic. I want to talk about their online service.

    First off, I tried ordering online for a friend before so I know how ordering online works. This time around I wanted to order the 4 lines online and it was a pain in the **. I was about to check out and pay for the sim cards and the plan, which only cost 142 dollars when it would not accept my credit card payment. To make a long story short, is if your card's billing address is not the same as the shipping address you put in your wireless plan then it will not accept it. It would have been fine if they shipped to a PO box, but no they don't ship to a PO box. All my card's billing address are PO box so how am I suppose to pay this crap? I went to customer service online and they were no help.

    I swear this company wants you to buy in store so they can charge you double. I'm just going to have to go Mint Mobile at this point because this crap is the worse phone company I've ever dealt with. In conclusion, this company is not honest. At least the stores, I've dealt with here in my area. Online is where you can get the real price of their plan, but they make it very hard purchase. I would not try to buy from this company again with the experience I have.

    Cricket Wireless customer service is inexperienced and disrespectful and they are thieves. I purchased a phone in September 2022 and returned it and had to fight getting through to the right person to get a refund. They told me wrong information on how to return the phone. I spoke with over 30 agents in 4 months to get a refund. I disputed on my cc card. They lied and sent misinformation my cc company for a phone I returned. Most agents I spoke with were untrained and it was like pulling teeth to get a manager. Let’s not forget the long wait to get to anyone. They cut my phone off twice every time I disputed them with my credit card company and took forever to get answers. I had to pay the fee to get my phone on. Don’t ever buy a phone with them. I was a customer since 2017 and never felt more disappointed and disrespected in my life. In Jan 2023 I left this company. They don’t value loyal customers.

    So I call cricket wireless to set up bridge pay. They tell me $25 is minimum amount I can pay to set up bridge pay. I pull out my debit card give them all my debit card info, it says payment declined. So I do it again, same thing payment declined, as I go to do it again I get two different text messages saying, "Thank you for your payment of $25", again back to back. So they took out $50. Here is the problem. I set up bridge pay cause I only had $39.52 in my bank account til I got paid. This overdrew my bank account, got me a $35 fee. I tried for 2 days to call Cricket. Could not get them on phone. It was horrible.

    I finally get them on phone day 3. The guy on phone apologizes and tells me he is gonna send back the $25 and credit the rest of my payment due for the $35 overdraft fee. This would make my phone bill current and all was good for me and Cricket, then this happens. I wake up the morning after bill was due my phone was shut off and I know was Charged $35 reactivation fee. I call Cricket, talk to two people, the most rude ignorant people in the world. Basically said, "Eff off we don’t care about you", about their system failing me, none of it. I been with Cricket 3 years they are the worse ever from customer service to phone service. My phone bill with overdraft fees was $140 that month absolutely no fault of mine! Cricket spit in my face and said eff off!!

    So, to preface, I love Cricket wireless. The phone plans have been easily maintained, my rates haven't changed in a decade. That part is fantastic. This complaint is specifically about their website. It is smoking hot garbage. Some of the worst designed, least functioning trash you could ever see. It's clear to see they must hate web devs, since they apparently have 0 hired. The site basically *does not run*. Half the time I'm making payments, I get errors. I've been trying to activate my phone for 2 full days, newly purchased, 400 dollars. It's been a very fancy brick for over 48 hours because the cricket website refuses to enact basic functions. This is so infuriating. It's enticing me to drop cricket entirely. What else are they failing at maintaining if they can't even keep their website working?

    The most important calls from my state dept. do not come to my phone, caller can leave a voicemail as if it was a missed call, only the call never registered on my call log, when phone never rang. Cricket says it's my new phones. I purchase all the time thinking it's the ringers not working, they will not compensate for half service I receive, when I pay for a full service every month.

    This has hurt my family in many ways as I'm a foster parent not getting calls to my phone. Sometimes I have to be reached immediately and they can't get thru to my actual phone, oh but you best believe I receive all the spam callers to my phone log as missed calls. I am so dissatisfied with this service I pay for. Is it because I live under poverty?? Or maybe I had Cricket too long now and not an important customer. I have several lines I pay for and the other lines on my account is children, who DON'T receive calls from me meaning their phone never rang for them but it did for me so they get in trouble!! But some calls on their phones are spam which they shouldn't even get on their phones. We DON'T use them for business. So Cricket has to be selling or giving my info out. SMH!!

    I went to activate my iPhone 14 Pro, and the lady at the store did something, now my old phone is not working at all. I was unable to activate the E-sim. She charged me $10.79 for the new ESIM. Waited for an hour at the store to activate the phone. I came home and waited from 8:30-9:44 pm, Still on hold while I am writing this review.

    We have been Cricket customers for around 25 years. We pay our bill on time every month. But I guess we paid after midnight last night. So this morning our services was cut off because we were charged a $15 late fee AFTER THE PAYMENT WAS CREDITED. Two people on our plan work from home and depend on their phones. So I spent 45 minutes on hold trying to find out why our service had been cut off for a random $15 charge, and then they charged a $4 convenience fee to make the payment. But the real damage was 45 minutes of lost work time for two people. I can’t imagine a worse way to treat loyal customers. I am seriously disappointed.

    The young man told me to go to Russell Pky store. Computer was down. Every time I go to that store something is wrong, if you have a problem with the phone cannot get issue resolved. They hate to see you coming in. Because they have to work.

    This how Cricket scammed my family. I received this message while trying to pay my bill on time 1/9/23: Hi Cricket Family! Your current balance is $0. Your next bill is due on 01/16/2023 in the amount of $118. To make a payment, visit cricketwireless.com/quickpay. They cut our phone off on 1/10/23. They charged activation fee & $4 processing fee. My son I both tried to pay them with 2 different payment method on their website. My son explain the situation, but they made him pay. I called twice trying to get refunded. The escalations had me on hold for 45 minutes and hung without calling back. I called back & they hung up again, tried to chat no one answered. Their service is always slow. Their business practices are shady, fraudulent and they are scamming people out of the money with their online payment method. They fail to take responsibility for their issues. There is no accountability. I want our money back.

    Cricket is a PRE-PAID service. Let be known that they refuse to refund you for the days you don't use the service. If you pay $60 for 30 days and only use 7 days, they keep the difference of what you AND turn your service off for the remainder as well. Then they try to explain why they don't refund your unused portion with cyclical reasoning that their computer screens simply tell them. You try to talk to them and they just repeat the same thing over and over. Just RUN AWAY FROM THEM or at least you know what their policy is before you jump into their pit.
