I went to Spectrum local store in pasadena. Very friendly specialist and professional service. I have great experience, and I wasn't expecting because other carrier service I encountered before. I have no frustration when processing my phone activation.

Have been trying to cancel my service for over an hour after our internet speeds dropped dramatically and no customer service member had made contact until after the hour at 8:30pm. Then they pushed me to buy more of their services. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND SPECTRUM.

If you have internet and Spectrum TV and you tried to get your mobile phones, one will be free. Make sure they do it because they charged me $60.00 for both lines. It's a pain in the butt to go through all this. And get a ticket to change it. Which I am still waiting on the 48 hours once I got my ticket.

Fantastic customer service and great support. Everything was exactly how I needed it except being able to keep my old phone number. But not too bad considering how complicated my issue was. Shout out to Jay, he was fantastic!

Switched my phone service and it resulted very convenient, easy process, and saved money on my Internet, cell, and land line. Had no issues with my previous provider but the savings made me make the switch to Spectrum

We had a fantastic, professional man who helped us, we changed our internet service and mobile from AT&T to Spectrum. We live in a rural area, and the service is of better quality and faster. We really appreciated Brandon for such great service

Do not waste your time with Spectrum. I have now made multiple phone calls to them because I continue to be charged after I cancelled service. Spoke with them in December because I'd decided to bundle my internet with my phone service. The gentleman said that because my billing cycle had just ended I'd be locked into another payment BUT he was going to knock it down to a lesser tier so I wouldn't be charged the full amount. I thanked him and verified that I would not be charged again after that final December payment. He assured me that it would automatically cancel unless I specifically told them I wanted to cancel. Well guess what...I was charged again in January when I wasn't supposed to. Was sent all around the organization and told that they didn't see anything in the call notes about cancelling service, just a downgrade.
I reiterated that I would not be paying for two different internet services just for fun and I did not in fact want the spectrum service as I am already paying for Verizon. She stated she would make sure the services were officially cancelled and then initiate a request for the January refund. I asked her to please make sure I was not going to be charged again in February as they work on researching and issuing my January refund. She stated that she was going to remove the autopay feature so I would not automatically be charged and the balance would be wiped when the refund was granted. Again...I was charged for service today. I called and spoke with a very snippy CS representative who stated that the notes in the file said nothing about a refund OR removing auto-pay. It said that my banking information was compromised. I told her that was not at all what my call was about.
I told her that at this point I'm going to have to charge these back through my bank and she basically said, "Go ahead and do it." They must be really hard up for funds if they continuously charge people after services have been cancelled. The cherry on the sundae was that I received the text telling me to return my equipment. I clicked the link to see where the closest store was. Lugged all of the equipment in there just for the representative to tell me that they cannot accept the equipment in-store. I told her this is literally where it told me to bring it. She said that they direct you to go to the store so the representatives can try to "save" you, but they don't accept it and I would need to take it to a UPS store to drop off.
All of this solidifies my decision to leave. They continue to be disrespectful of your time and then refuse to be of any help. I will be charging both charges back through my bank at this point. Funny how they try so hard to save you but customer service somehow isn't a priority? Not to mention I was paying more than double what I should have been for internet. If they are so concerned with saving customers, maybe they should be more proactive in reaching out to save you money. I know, Silly notion in this greedy world.

The equipment arrived. I set it up immediately. I had two yellow cords. The first one did not work. The second did. I used the short one by mistake. Other than that I took my time and done it right. I'm glad that I signed up for Spectrum internet. Thank you.

I spent 5 mornings--Feb. 19 & 20, then Feb. 23--25, 2026, trying to get Spectrum to unblock my bank's security codes, which had to be sent via text to my iPhone via Spectrum Mobile. Their phone center technicians are clueless, giving this customer 1 dead-end fix attempt after another, then silently switching me to another department not even relevant to the situation and who don't know why you're switched to them. Other times they blatantly put time on hold (while they say, they're checking with their Supv) for 20+minutes and playing their stupid music with self-serving announcements, only to have the line go dead because they know they can't figure the problem out.
After having to repeat and repeat the same info. (my phone no, address, etc...) I requested to speak to a Supv. They become intimidated and don't want you to report them so they, again, just disconnect you (no music this time, just silence and no dial tone). I finally told them to cancel my service on the 26th and even that was another marathon of lack of service and wasting this customer's time. It's as if they just can't let go because they know you're going to their competition. Very mean, and I've put up with substandard internet connectivity, huge pauses when fast forwarding or backtracking through recordings, 10-second blackout screen pauses when switching channels, and an obvious shrinking program lineup. Some of the programs date back to 2014, and anything current are few. There are programs that Spectrum deceptively designates as "new" to watch, and they're weeks old. To boot, many reality, crime and other programs are prehistoric.

I would like to formally escalate a complaint regarding my recent experience with Spectrum. I strongly recommend that others avoid using Spectrum’s services based on what has happened to me. I originally placed my order online, but when I visited the store, the salesperson altered the details of my plan without my consent. This has caused significant inconvenience and frustration, and I feel that I was misled during the process. Additionally, my support ticket #** was closed without any resolution, explanation, or follow-up. This is unacceptable, and I am requesting immediate assistance to correct the issue and restore the terms of my original online order.

We had Verizon for 30 years. The very high bills were killing us now that we are retired. Spectrum was able to combine Internet, TV, and mobile service all for the same monthly fee I was paying Verizon. It was a good switch for retired people.

I went to Spectrum with the intention to lower my overall bill. With the bundle I switched to along with moving mine and my wife's cellphones over to spectrum we saved 45%. Staff was great and made the switch very quick and easy. Highly recommend.

Switch to Spectrum from Verizon. Saving a lot of money. Spectrum paid off existing phones up to 500.00 per phone. We got 2 lines free for a year. Essentially saved over 170.00 a month from what Verizon was charging.

I highly recommend switching to mobile and internet especially if there is a deal going on. My credit is terrible and I received my equipment with no down payment. I was also able to switch my mobile phone carrier for free in less than 30 mins because Spectrum offers a virtual sim. My signal is better than my old carrier and my WiFi and phone bill equal the payment of my old phone bill together. Hopefully that makes sense. All zero down and affordable monthly payment. They mail the equipment and are available chat, phone, and probably something else. The wait time in the phone is less than a minute. You can tell they invest a lot in making sure consumers have a good experience. Before I forget I also got a battery pack with my equipment so in case of an outage I will still have internet for some time. I work from home and I never experience any lag even though multiple devices are connected. This has just been great.

Switched mobile service from T-Mobile to Spectrum. We went to Matthews store where we worked with Noel. He was dealing with 2 barely tech literate older folks, and his patience, friendliness, and professionalism were all above and beyond. We had trouble remembering passwords, and other security measures, plus T-Mobile, customers for 32 years, weren’t overly helpful. He worked through his lunch break, and for about 2 hours to get us set up with new services, and devices. Truly an employee to be proud of.

As far as streaming services that was fine I enjoyed Spectrum. But as far as the billing that's another story. I had to cancel my Wi-Fi and streaming because I was moving and Spectrum did not offer service where I was moving to. I had to switch to AT&T by no choice of my own. Spectrum Will NOT prorate in the middle of a billing cycle. And they are very adamant about that and they don't care if you are not getting Services anymore, which they did not offer to where I moved to, I have to pay for 16 days of service that I am not receiving.
I also turned in the equipment the day after my service was turned off. So if you plan to have to get another service, make sure you plan on paying for services of two Wi-Fi's and cable. They will Not prorate a monthly subscription, so you are stuck whether you are on a fixed income or a tight budget. To me, that is basically theft, taking my money for a service that they are no longer providing. Spectrum needs to do better!

Got a great deal on two lines with ample mobile data and unlimited talk, text, etc. The process was extremely simple using the instructions provided online. It was easy to port in 2 numbers as well as activate them on the account with the Spectrum.

I was charged multiple times for the activation device. When asked if it could be corrected was told to contact my bank. It's been 3 weeks and the multiple payments was not added to my statement. I have no idea where my money is at.

I’m felt less me I should have been given at a bill credit after such a horrible expert, one of the reps I spoke with apologized, however that doesn’t cover. I wasn’t able to use the phone. Thank God I still had my old number and hadn’t turned it off yet!!!! Terrible service!!!!

Everything transferred just fine, had no issues, it may took long but that was expected. I bundled up with cable and wifi now have the phone and great customer service. I would totally recommend others.

Called customer service yesterday and unfortunately forgot to write the name of the person helping me. He was GREAT... Answered all my questions and very helpful in everything. As for the Spectrum location in Trinity Fl. was not very helpful about lowering your bill, they want to just sell getting you to get their cellphone through them.

Devon ** come to my house Saturday for Internet problems that I have been having for two years with my Wi-Fi. I have called numerous times. I bet you 50 times the manager come out here and left me his card and phone number. Told me to call him if I had any more problems, which I did, he would not even call me back or answer his phone so I don’t know why he left me a business card but after numerous people coming out, Devon come out after two years of problems completely be wired. Everything fixed everything it works great I don’t understand why he is not a manager or a supervisor.
He went way beyond on a Saturday afternoon. What anybody else was willing to do everyone else come out here and want to see how quick they could leave he stayed fixed the problem make sure I was happy completely rewired everything just like a new service. I have not had any problems out of the Internet. Someone should take him out to lunch and give him a raise. He knows what he’s doing. He’s the best.

I’m just overwhelmed with the quality and convenience of spectrum service. It’s comparable with Verizon services but easier to navigate the website and application. What really matters is that I save $200 a month on Spectrum over Verizon. Frankly, Verizon simply tries to upsell with nickel and diming every aspect that they can. Not throwing shade just fact.

I have never experienced this degree of nightmare involving electronics. What was available to me was limited & not being versed in that world. I found instructions and assistance less than helpful. The questions on the evaluation are misleading. It's not that there were choices to do thing but my abilities to use anything I chose was limited to my conditions. I'd write more but I can't tell you how many times I have repeated myself to many layers of management. Maybe more in next life form.

Having to help our loved ones in their older years it's nice to be able to rely on mobile, wi-fi, and cable services from their areas when we visit or stay awhile. My hubby needs RELIABLE wi-fi for his telecommuting needs. Mom NEEDS to have her GAME SHOW NETWORK channel and we DVR America Says & Chain Reaction. Hubby and I NEED our FOX NEWS and FOX BUSINESS channels. We ALL LOVE the Hallmark mystery channel & TV LAND to DVR, "Everybody Loves Raymond". We also have/had Spectrum when his dad was alive. He LOVED Westerns. Thank you for your diverse services.

Spectrum has been one of the most dishonest and chaotic companies I’ve ever dealt with. I asked for their 1 Gig internet plan from the very beginning, and instead of honoring that, they kept trying to upsell me slower speeds at higher prices. Even when I made it clear what I wanted, they ignored it and pushed plans I never asked for. They also made a clear agreement with me on a recorded call, then completely ignored it. They added charges I never approved, refused to honor what they promised, and every representative gave me a different excuse to cover up the mess.
This isn’t a simple mistake — it’s a pattern of misleading billing, broken agreements, and zero accountability. Their customer service is inconsistent, untrained, and unable to provide a straight answer. I’ve spent weeks trying to get them to fix problems they created, and they still refuse to take responsibility. It has now been well over 44 days of me trying to get a basic correction, and Spectrum still hasn’t resolved anything. Even during a documented hardship, they continued billing incorrectly and acted like it was my job to chase them down and clean up their errors. No integrity, no consistency, no transparency. If you’re considering Spectrum, understand this: they will promise you one thing, bill you for something completely different, and then blame you when you try to get it fixed. I’m escalating this through formal channels because Spectrum has made it clear they won’t correct their own behavior unless forced.

Even though the store was extremely busy, we didn't have to wait as long as expected and Justin was so experienced that he made our transfer of service to Spectrum Mobile that I highly recommend them. So far, no interrupted services, smooth transition. Very pleased so far!

I switched from Verizon to Spectrum and The process was a breeze except my son’s phone was either too old or something with his phone just wouldn’t connect to cellular data. Samsung A50 (it's old, he didn’t want a new one) so customer service spent a great deal of time trying to get it to work and we decided to go to the store to either fix it or get a new one, the rep at the store was fantastic, we actually had a used iPhone at home so I brought that just in case we couldn’t get the Samsung to work, we decided to try the iPhone and it works beautifully after we switched the SIM cards.
Excellent customer service, which I can not say about Verizon, once I transferred my number you are locked out of your Verizon account even though all lines were not transferred yet, so beware. I spent hours and days trying to get my final bill with trips to the Verizon store. I’m glad I switched I have 4 lines, 2 iPads with data and a watch and I’m saving over 200.00 a Month and it is not promotional.

This supposedly easy installation appointment was ended up being and all day and into evening nightmare. Technician did not know what he was doing. I was promised everything would be working like before I switched to Spectrum - but not true. He did not know who to bring my internet to my sound bar. He left me with having to tape up my wall plate to the with tape because he pulled the plate off the wall instead of unscrewing it and left it dangling. The second tech sent out keep me waiting from 4pm until after 6:30 pm. He was late because he stopped to eat supper - and did not bother to let me know after receiving message he was on his way. That was over an hour after telling me he was enroute.

I wanted to transfer my number from ATT to Spectrum. I was on the phone for 2 hours with Nari, she erased my esim, did a factory reset, did some other things to my phone except activate it. I'm left without service and I'm locked out. I have to wait 48 to 72 hours to get my phone unlocked. I went to the Spectrum store the next morning, they gave me a new Sim card, phone was locked. Lady told me to go back to ATT to unlock it. I went to 4 different ATTs no one could help. My number was transferred successfully though. I was on the phone with Spectrum while at the ATT store and the agent helped me and gave me a link to unlock my device online. But I still have to wait 48 to 72 hours before I can do anything with my phone. And yes my phone is paid off.

Wow… my transfer over to Spectrum Mobile was a breeze. My rep was professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. She answered every question I had about the transition of service while being patient and kind. Transferring with an eSIM was super easy to navigate through the spectrum app. Much easier than I anticipated. So long, Verizon with your overpriced, convoluted plans and bills. I’m never going back….seeing absolutely no difference in service with spectrum mobile!

I switched to Spectrum for internet, tv, home phone and two cell phones. I had been using ATT for 25 years. I no longer want to support a company that supports Trump- MAGA republicans. Switching to Spectrum Mobile the last step in changing my TV plan. The rep gave me a total cost for my new plan including mobile and I agreed. We got through everything except the transfer pins. She told me it could take some time and she would call back in 48 hrs. She never did. After waiting an hour for her return call I called Spectrum. With the help of the rep in Florida we were able to complete the transfers. The 2nd rep was exemplary.

I recently upgraded my Spectrum service to include streaming, the representative. I talked to explained all the added features of this upgrade and the benefits of switching cell phone carrier, which was the easiest process ever. It was nice to talk to somebody that knew what they were doing.

Cannot complete the buyout portion of existing contract in order to facilitate a buyout from the previous phone company. Spectrum only allowed 23 days to provide a final bill from our existing phone provider, although the existing provider requires four to six weeks to finalize the final bill, then will only mail to the address of record. The previous provider was one of the leading mobile phone suppliers in the country.

When transferring carriers, don’t do it by phone. Take it to a Spectrum store. Had to start contacting original carrier to get pin and account numbers then call Spectrum then call back original carrier to unlock then try to take phone apart. Was instructed to use a safety pin, paper clip to remove SIM card, total frustration cradling my landline and working on cell phone at the same time.

I am very happy with my new mobile service from Spectrum. The specialist had me connected and my phone was active less than five minutes from him activating the SIM card and placing it in my existing phone. It works everywhere that my Verizon phone does with the same call quality and signal strength as my Verizon phone. So, you want the same quality of mobile service for way less cost than Verizon, try Spectrum mobile!

As with many companies, the sales force has little if any knowledge of the capabilities of local service offices. I've been sold and enrolled twice for mobile service while requesting a fiber connection. Both times, I was later informed by Spectrum that fiber service is not available. This time I was further encouraged by the fact that Spectrum has already installed fiber a short distance into my development; but stopped at the first few homes. I don't like being teased...

Working with the people at Spectrum in Ludington, MI was so easy and made getting things switched to them so much easier and nicer. It is a huge comfort to know that I can just go to them if I have any internet or mobile problems and talk to someone in person. Plus I get much better cell service now than I was getting before and can reliably get ahold of my friends and family when I need to.

Spectrum offered a lower rate for internet and mobile service than ATT and the customer service is friendly, professional and they don't try to upsell you with confusing schemes like ATT. The internet speeds are better for the price and the mobile service is good so far.

I am very pleased with my recent transfer from another cell carrier to Spectrum. I was quite anxious, when I thought about the last time I changed cellphone carriers. I was only allowed one port and after signing up with this so called senior company, I did not like the service because I could either have a discount on text or calls and I wanted both so I decided to cancel the service and at that point, went to a reputable company and found out that I could not port my old number twice. And had to get a new number, and it was a nightmare. But this transfer to spectrum has been so easy. They ported the number for me with no problems. I have plenty of unlimited data and it's just a very reasonable price. So I am very satisfied with my decision. I've had the internet service with spectrum. For many years and now I have all my eggs in one basket, my internet and my cell service.

After a massive iceberg fell off the eaves of my house and smashed the Starlink equipment, we decided to see what our other options were. I discovered Spectrum -- after speaking with them, I switched my internet and cellular phone services. Not only did I save $200 a month, but the service I receive is no different and even better. Time will tell if there are any issues still hidden, but I haven't experienced any to date. I'm glad I switched.

I had Charter/Spectrum since it was Roadrunner. 21 years I had them. For over a year after I upgraded to the 1 gig speed service we had issues. Could never get the speed they sold me. They kept making excuses and blaming it on my computers etc. Finally they found out that when I upgraded they were supposed to provide me with the correct modem, but they didn't. So they did that and the speed was there. Did they offer to compensate me for the year I paid for 1 gig service?? No they did not.
So finally Lumos Fiber came thru and I had it installed, it works great and I cancelled my Spectrum. Took almost an hour to get off the phone with them. They made the usual offers to stay and I told them I wanted it turned off and they did and was told account was paid and I returned their equipment. That was on 6/30/25. Then on 7/15/25 they billed me again for another month, which I cancelled charge and then they tried again on 8/15/26 and now since I refuse to pay for a month that I didn't even have their service or equipment they have tagged my credit score. The phone help is great ....Once you are actually able to reach them. As most tech companies, the attempt to direct you via a robot - AI operator fails miserably. Overall, great phone coverage and service so far, really like my Pixel 10 phone too.

Went in to the closest brick and mortar store I could find. Didn’t want to attempt porting my number over to a new phone and new service. The sales clerk was very helpful, kind and patient with us. We needed to leave AT&T and buy new phones so the process took a while but understandable. We were paying over $200 a month for 2 phones with AT&T. Spectrum lowered our bill for the cell phones and our internet. We are saving big time.

Spectrum a bad company, unreliable concerning service and internet stability! I had a service with no contract that I terminated on February 6, 2026, and instead to charge for 3 days they are charging the full month! That is stealing! I will never go back to that company, most attending are not polite or patient and even don't care and do not try to help till you disconnect. And then I received a call with a better plan. I mentioned after the ordeal I went through that I find AT&T with better rates and they missed their chance to keep a client. Bye Spectrum. I do not recommend that careless company that play games with their clients.

Activating the mobile service for a new line after switching from T-Mobile was surprisingly seamless. Unfortunately, my phone was carrier locked by T-Mobile, so I had to call them to get it unlocked before I could complete my new service activation. In total, I spent about 3 minutes activating the service with the email instructions sent from Spectrum. I’ve been considering this switch for a while and been avoiding because of previous hassle experiences with other carriers and now I wish I would’ve done it sooner.

3 plus years of service and counting. So far things have been decent and straightforward. I'm not a fussy person so honestly I've only had 2 concerns in this period. I tried AT&T heads up against Spectrum for 90 days. They were even in performance but Spectrum proved the better bargain.

Spectrum will overcharge and not compensate you for outages, if they do it’s not much and you have to message them to get it. Spectrum continued to raise my prices after I had been a loyal customer up to $134 a month. When I asked to remove tv they said the bundle was cheaper… I go to a store in person and tell them I can no longer afford this much for internet when AT&T starts at $55 for the same rates. I said I needed to cancel. The manager at the store then offers me $40 a month for a year… I said no I already switch. How could I be charged $100+ for years when it was in fact possible to have a lower rate. Plus the internet would go out constantly. I was overpaying for subpar internet and no one helped me until I canceled.

When I received the mailing for a free year of phone service, I thought it was another scam. I actually brought the little flyer with me to the store in person. With all the technology things going on in the world today, when I walked in the door, they must’ve seen the look on my face. The gentleman called me over and I was in and out of the store with a new activation and line and under 15 minutes, no stress above and beyond excellent customer service. I may just be leaving AT&T at the end of the year.

Dishonest sales people wide to get their sales numbers up. Claimed my bill would go down when it only increased and lied to me about the details necessary to get the promotion to begin with so I never had a chance of qualifying for it. After they set it up spent 4 to 5 hours on the phone. Over the last month and a half of these people in my bill still isn’t straightened out. Never again will I use Spectrum.

So I received my bill and in BIG words on top it said ... YOU GOT $30 OFF!!! .. when in fact my bill WENT UP... so I called them and this was the answer I got... "Well your rates actually went up higher but you got $30 off of that new rate." Why didn't you just say... HI.. YOUR BILL WENT UP.... I'm a senior on a fixed income.... They are making us switch to lower options instead of keeping valued customers happy. I was very happy with Spectrum but now feelings have changed.

Our difficulty started with T Mobile cell signal. We tried 3 times to resolve this issue with customer support who were nice and courteous on the phone and promised twice to return with update but never did. We then decided to switch carrier. We did have poor signal experience in our residence on Verizon about 4 years ago. Decided to try Spectrum as our community has special bond with spectrum.

I can't believe that Spectrum for mobile, internet, and DVR is finally giving a reduced rate after 10 years of calling and going to their store. It's long past due, but I'll take it. It's a nice reduction from $375 to $263. It's still high, but it's better than nothing. I just hope in a year they won't increase it.

They turned my Internet off for 48$ after I told them I was burying my Mom. They have no regards to hardship. All they want is their money. Spectrum lost a valued customer. I'll never forget the way I was treated. It hurt my feelings after I've been a good customer for years.

Bought 2 lines and a new iPhone Air. Took many hours & calls to change phone #s. Sent wrong color phone. Told would be $50 restocking fee because I opened box. Would not listen to reason. "You can't tell color unless you open device." "It's the policy and you signed it." Asked if I could bring trade to a Spectrum store. Told yes. Did that but they would not accept. Wanted help working new iPhone. Told to go to Apple.com. Then get letter in mail that says, "Sorry we were not able to open account with us but your score is 822". Been a nightmare.

When I moved in with my mother-in-law she had a premier Spectrum package. I wanted to find a cheaper option and after 3 tries found a person who was very knowledgeable and helpful. He got me a good price. Unfortunately, after awhile the price went up. When I inquired I was told it was just a periodic price adjustment. A year later and $45 increase, I called again because the specials were about to expire and make the cost even higher. On the phone, I was quoted a price of just over $180, the first bill was $200. 4 months later with no explanation it is now $210. The people are polite, seem knowledgeable but I wonder. I just wish the price quoted would stay for at least 6 months. Because I want to keep my mother-in-law out of it, I cannot give account number or upload a receipt, but I have been working with them since Oct 2023.

Switching mobile service to Spectrum was not as easy as it should have been. I had extenuating circumstances in that I was a residential customer, briefly switched to Spectrum business (for less than a week), and switched back to residential due to unfulfilled promises/capabilities from the business side. It seems that Spectrum has pitted their internal teams against each other (Residential vs. Business) to see who can win the sale while the customer is left to fend for themselves. I
f residential had offered me the cable/internet/mobile package that they ultimately offered AFTER I made the switch, all of this could have been avoided. Setting up the mobile service is an ongoing nightmare because the business side had my email and IMEI number tied up for two weeks after I cancelled the service and I am still trying to sort everything out. I had to keep my mobile account active with the previous carrier for three weeks after I made the switch for "free mobile service" and I've been over two hours or my time trying to update something as simple as an email address.

We were very frustrated because of customer service had not explained to us correctly that our SIM cards were going to be mailed to us and not given to us at the store, but the girls were very helpful and got us connected on 5 lines and got us the promotion of free internet with the switch. We switched phone service from Verizon to Spectrum at the Spectrum store in Kissimmee, FL. The employee Samuel ** did a fantastic job of switching our phones as well as adding other features to our current package. It's too soon to know how cell reception and service will be, but from what I have heard from friends and relatives who have switched it's very similar. The Spectrum store was busy and the employees all were fantastic, but Samuel ** went above and beyond in setting us up and explaining everything to us.

My experience was very unsatisfactory- I called to discuss the email regarding free 1 year mobile service. The salesperson explained that I would need 2 lines for the pay off of my existing ATT contract part of the "Deal". She suggested I purchase and activate another line for $30 per month. I was assured this would qualify me for the deal. I ordered and set up the new phone and ported over my existing line.
I called several days later to ask about the "email " will instructions for getting the $500 pay off per line. I was told to wait, it takes a couple days. I called back 2 days later and was told it didn't qualify. I explained exactly what the salesperson told me to do. I asked for a "Leadership" rep to discuss. She said she would review my 51 minute call when I set it up. She NEVER got back to me - I called again 3 days later to discuss and went through it all again. This is HORRIBLE customer service.

I pay my bill almost $400 a month and it’s days with spotty WiFi. Can not report issues on site because their system chat keeps you from reporting. I’ve had months where I had just a few days a week of uninterrupted wifi. Now back to days of it not staying connected. I pay for a service; you should provide the service.

I thought I had a sweet deal with my old carrier as they use catch phrases like grand-fathered in and faithful customer discounts, but I cut my monthly by more than 60% and still get the same great coverage as my old carrier. Love it! I don't know how it could get better.

Their internet service is good. TV is horrible. They've been raising prices every couple of months for the past year and when I called to cancel they still charged me for the 3 weeks on my billing cycle. According to Spectrum I should have called right before the new billing cycle because they don't prorate. I spoke with numerous associates and a manager; no flexibility, no courtesy. I was told they don't prorate. Plain ridiculous considering that they bill you in advance. Check the fine print with this company.

The worst company I have EVER dealt with. Internet is not reliable, goes down every 20 mins, America Online dial-up was better. Sadly, in my town of Waxhaw, they have a stronghold and not much else to go to. That was until RIPPLE FIBER came to town. With Spectrum, I was paying for 1 gig speed and never came close, 10 routers, 8 modems, 30 tech visits later, the most recent router (7) is worse and slower than the 6, which he left behind and now adds 4 of them in my possession. They are free for the taking, FYI!!!! Spectrum was so mad that they came out to remove the crap, and the Techs destroyed my fiber line, so now I have to get Fiber people back here. DO NOT GO WITH SPECTRUM or RECTUM, as I like to call them.
I worked there and the only time life was decent was when I work there, but as a customer, they could care less about you, your issues, your billing (overpriced by the way). STAY AWAY and let's get them out of the TV, Cell phone, Internet business; they have become too big to care. They gobbled up small companies, then when times got tough and word got out they suck, they changed their look and name. Let's see, they were Roadrunner, TimeWarner, Charter, now Spectrum, with these low reviews, get ready for another big announcement, we are now Junk Overpriced Company, formally known as Rectum!!!

Let’s be honest. I was more than skeptical about transferring my cell phone service to Spectrum. We all know our WiFi goes in and out on a regular basis! But the pricing deal was worth giving it a shot. I had been with my previous carrier more than 20 years and was fed up with the price of my cell phone bill. Every “deal” they claimed they gave with new phone upgrade etc. Which may have started out great but the bill just kept creeping up.
We visited our local spectrum store to replace a router and casually asked about their cell service. Danyell Sat down with us. Figured out what we had left owing on each line (we have 7 lines) and showed us exactly what we’d be saving monthly. I thought this can’t be real! And was so concerned that the cell service would be as bad as WiFi has been. But I can say with a grateful heart we’ve have had ZERO issues with our service and to top it off since we replaced router for WiFi it has not went out once!!!! One happy girl right here!!!!

I have been a customer of Spectrum for a long time and recently transferred my phones from Verizon to Spectrum. I have had a great experience so far. The installation was quick and professional. I recently spoke to a representative about a bill that I received, and they were incredibly helpful and patient and explained everything clearly and resolved my problem. Their technical team have always been just as helpful. I do believe Spectrum should also ask for a review on their internet speed consistency and the cost, and provide Senior discounts.

It all started when Spectrum installed their network in our neighborhood. I was hopeful they would provide an incentive to switch from AT&T internet. They did not disappoint. Not only did we switch our internet provider, they offered such a great deal we also switched our mobile phone service from Verizon. Switching the mobile service took place the same day as signing up and we were able to port our phones with no assistance following the instructions on their website. For internet, they placed / buried the fiber to our home the next day and turned up service and installed the WiFi router the next day. In all, it was a total of 3 days from decision to having all services in place. I am pleased with the speed of the internet - actually a little faster than advertised. We have 24 devices on the WiFi and all work well. I could not be happier.

Spectrum offers great incentives for new customers. However, once the promotional period expires, your TV/Internet rates get jacked. It would seem to me that they would be grateful for loyal customers, and find a way to reward them, based on length of time with them. That would be an incentive for people to stay with Spectrum, rather than shopping around. As for their service, I just moved over to them, so I can't comment, other than to say that the last 3 customer service reps I finally got past automated bots to talk to were absolutely wonderful! And they were in the US, which makes it much easier for most of us to understand what they are saying.

What I promised on the phone was a lie. The first agent kept assuring me that I am getting A THOUSAND dollars for both phones REGARDLESS that one of the phone is paid off and the other balance is $200. I asked so many question and she kept assuring me that the deal is $500 for each phone and she kept saying "You get the $500 and your son pay his balance on his phone and he would have $300 left for himself." That how detailed she was giving to me when I received the email about getting $250 mailed to me. I called and asked the agent to go back and check if that lengthy phone call with that agent who made those promises was recorded. He, with no hesitation, promptly said he already checked and she did not say that. Not sure how would he checked a recorded lengthy call while I am on the phone with me in a second. It is a such disappointment.

I’ve been a Spectrum Internet, user for years. Decided to try their mobile service So I ordered a new phone, had received it and the seals on the phone had been ripped already. I immediately called customer support to see how they’d like me to proceed. Tiffany on the other line basically said I would be charged a restocking fee because they couldn’t confirm if I opened it or if it was already opened. By the way, the restocking fee is 50 bucks and I would have to wait another week or 2 for another phone. There was no documentation talking about if it is normal and spectrum preps the device before it gets to the user. So I still have no idea if this is a refurbed/repaired unit that I paid full price for. Still very upset about it. After 2 days the phone is still functioning like it should and service has seemed fine. Otherwise this would be a 1 star review.

My move to Spectrum mobile was easy. I called Spectrum mobile setup the service plan and discounts that were available to me. Then I went to Tracfone online completed the process to get the NTP for both phones. Set appointment at my local Spectrum store after getting the new Iphones shipped to me. For two phone number transfers, screen protector And case that I purchased it took 1hr 15 minutes. Keep in mind transferring from android to Iphone the apps are gotten off Apple play store. She set up the critical apps for us as we brought those passwords along.
Then we went home to add all apps. We left able to call on the phones, receive our charter emails and most importantly my wife could play Candy Crush. Keep in mind getting the Number Transfer Pin especially from Tracfone is important, otherwise that could take 30+ minutes per phone. Also be prepared with your passwords. Make it easy. Ordering your phones from Spectrum website before you go gives you the choice (color) of phones. Again I could of attempted this at home however getting a professional to do it reduces the anxiety of the move.

Horrible service. Do not believe what they say about it being as good as your current provider. I am so disappointed that I left T-Mobile after 10 years of amazing connectivity to get barely connected. I can’t make calls or send and receive texts or emails away from Wi-Fi. They lied and I fell for it because I am struggling financially and needed a discount. I’d rather not have a phone than pay for something I cannot use.

Consumer cellular was great, however, Spectrum phone reps will do whatever it takes to get a sale. They will lie and they will make up stories merely to get a sale they are rewarded for the number of sales. They complete not how successful they have been in terms of Customer Service. The in store experience was much better and faster and honest.

The agent mixed up phone numbers, delivery dates and IMEI numbers as well as the activation for services. It was much more difficult than it should have been to switch. Also, our Xumo box does not work on day 2, which is not Spectrum's fault but it adds to the frustration caused by the sales rep. * Finally, reception is bad in major cities and I am often on 4G networks. I would NOT recommend it to anyone.

Spectrum does not care for their wires outside the home and cause dangerous situation, they cost me over 6000 dollars due to a hanging wire that they hung below my main electric wire that a truck tore down forcing repairs. Then they have "dead" wires all over the houses and fail to remove even when called, but I will climb up and cut them myself jerks!

Customer service representative I had did a good job at getting my phone number transferred back to Spectrum after I had changed to AT&t and was not happy with AT&t. The only issue I had was getting my insurance back on my phone that process. I did not care for that service. I believe they need to change because you have to hold your phone into a mirror so that the app can verify your phone. Well people like me with disorders that can't hold the phone very long in the mirror. Don't qualify for the insurance.

I am very satisfied with having switched my mobile service to Spectrum. Each staff member I had spoken to was well informed and provided me with helpful information as well as being courteous and friendly. They also were very patient with me since I asked questions, sometimes repeatedly to assure I was understanding details. The process of switching once I received delivery of my SIM card was very simple and straightforward. The Spectrum app took me step by step through the process which was very easy. Additionally, I have better service than with my previous cellular phone company; prior to this switch, I had to use wi-fi calling (using my Spectrum internet service) to avoid losing cellular service. This was the first reason I decided to switch to Spectrum mobile because why would I continue to pay for service from US Cellular/T-Mobile when the only way to avoid losing service was to use wi-fi calling.

I've had Spectrum since they took over my area (monopolized). Before I was forced to "upgrade" my equipment, I was happier. I was promised my service would be better and faster. It was NOT! I paid much more and got much less. My service for internet goes out far too often! I need to purchase my own equipment because theirs is terrible!

Internet service is unreliable. Router keeps disconnecting and we have to reset modem and router often sometimes more than once a day. The area is very poorly served. Internet speed is always below the signed value. Overpriced service for a below average performance.

Tries to charge you after discontinuing service. They will LIE and say there will be no more owed. But then try to charge you later on. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND! They also have a lot of outages. Any other internet company is honestly better.

Spectrum's phone customer service reps were very helpful in walking me through what became a complicated mess of changing over providers on my Internet, cable, home phone and mobile devices. Especially when Breezeline and Verizon were testy and difficult to deal with to leave. Having Spectrum's customer reps based in the USA was a major plus! Love Spectrum's transparent flat rate pricing! Not a bunch of additional fees and taxes added to the bill when you get it. Had the service for 3 months now and it's been awesome. Should've done this years ago.

Two months ago I purchased a phone at the Holland, Michigan, Spectrum Store. During the purchase a store employee took my driver's license. He never gave my license back to me. He later messaged me and told me he had my license. I asked him to mail my license back to me. It has been two months and he has not mailed my license back to me. I called Spectrum and they told me they could not mail my license back to me. It is a 50 mile trip to pick up my license. I am a senior citizen and can't make that trip.

We have finally moved our phones to the company that has provided us with great cable, phone and internet service for many years. The transfer was great, and there has been no difference noticed from out Verizon service. Spectrum's customer service has always been easy to contact and very helpful when needed over the years. Spectrum Sales Representative FLAT OUT LIED to us about availability, services and reception. We were told by the agent to CANCEL our A T & T account that we have had for almost 20 years and convert to a Spectrum Package which would provide much better service. We were informed that we needed to go to the nearest retail store which is over half an hour away to have our phones converted to e sim. They removed our SIM card and said we would be able to use them with the internet and we would have excellent service.
Tried to use our cellular phone to find out that we have ZERO bars unless we walk around the yard and find the perfect to get a single bar of service!!!! Move 10 feet and we loose connection. was contacted by "Construction" at Spectrum to be informed that we are in a "NON SERVICE AREA" and that they would have to run underground lines approximately. 760 foot to our location and close to a month for completion the cost would be $$8,255.16!! We would be liable for $2,255.16 to get service. WE WERE LIED TO AND DECEIVED to utilize Spectrum. Now we have phones that are not reliable, ZERO Internet and ZERO Cable T.V.

They offered not only a better price for our internet, but gave us faster speeds as well... And they re-imbursed us for the remaining balances of our iPhone purchases to make the switch easier...

I wish I could give zero stars. I was a Spectrum Internet customer for over five years. While the service itself was acceptable, it deteriorated over the last two years with more frequent outages and noticeably slower speeds. What pushed me to cancel was the relentless price increases. My rate increased by about $20/month about three years ago, which I accepted. Then came another $15 hike last November, followed by a further $20 increase—bringing my monthly bill to $104.99. I found this price absurd and decided to cancel as soon as I received the bill.
The cancellation process was unnecessarily tedious and took over an hour. To make matters worse, I was told I still had to pay the bill in full for the seven days of service I used in the final billing cycle. I’ve paid it, but the entire experience has left me deeply dissatisfied. I do not recommend Spectrum to anyone seeking reliable service and fair pricing.

Switched from Verizon after 25 years because they promised to buy out my 5 lines up to 2500. We owed 2100 and they paid us 1390. After a few hours on the phone with customer service and escalating to leadership. They chose not to honor their commitment and not pay what was owed. This company is fraudulently offering services they do not follow through on. I will fo my year commitment and then I will literally switch to anyone else. If you are thinking of switching this is not the answer. Horrible experience.

I switched from AT&T to Spectrum and I have had no problems. I had three other services with Spectrum so switching was easy. The customer service rep had me going in no time and I didn't have to go to a store. I bought a new phone on their convenient payment plan and transferred my number without going to a store. Any time I have needed help with any of my services they have always been helpful and got the problem solved quickly. Would definitely recommend.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Spectrum Mobile. The billing practices have been consistently problematic, starting with an initial double charge for the service. When I initially got the service they charged me for the partial month I was already in. When my first bill came, it was for the full month of service for that same month I started. When I purchased a phone from them it was on sale and I chose to pay it off monthly with the bill. Had I paid off each monthly payment until it was paid off it would have been the exact amount as advertised but I chose to pay it off in advance. This advanced payoff was charged to my credit card. The amount I had to pay off was more than if I had just paid it off monthly for the next 5 months.
The explanation was some nonsense about charging me for the full monthly price of the phone before the sales price at the time of purchase (not the sale monthly price) and then applying the discount for each month. The charge for the full monthly price was charged to my credit card, however, they then applied the discount to an account credit, not my credit card so I had to stay with Spectrum Mobile to be able to utilize this money. Furthermore, they increased my monthly price unexpectedly. They told me in the upcoming bill for the next month which they don't send you until you are halfway through this month. That is notifying me after the fact. To make matters worse, I canceled my service 6 days into this next month, yet I was still charged for the entire increased monthly amount and they refused to prorate it for the 24 days that I no longer had their service. This is unacceptable billing practices.

Easy and smooth to transfer to Spectrum. Like their quick service. I confirmed the service on Tuesday and received the SIM card the next Month. I had enough time to work on the transferring from my previous carrier. Easy app and clear instructions to follow on the activation.

I discovered that I was being severely overcharged by my previous carrier after having the service for over 10 years. Spectrum slashed my phone service and internet cost by 2/3's saving me over $200 a month for 2 phone lines and 1 gig internet. It is a 3 year price lock which will save me almost 7.5k over the next 3 years. Switching was easy thanks to the mobile reps. Once I got my transfer pin from my old carrier, it was smooth sailing from there.... Took about 8 min to port both numbers over and I was able to start making and receiving calls immediately. Thanks Spectrum!!

Very disappointed in switching to Spectrum - salesman lied about the time period for the prices, then told NO problem keeping your same phone number we will handle it - and then I get a BILL to do so...then they have rescheduled and my old carrier now is coming to set up my phone & internet I already had because Spectrum didn't know what they were doing in getting the number transferred...so much waste of my time! And their chat people have NO clue - want me to fix their mess they created with Centurylink...

The change from MetroPCS was pretty painless as the specialist did most all of the work. It was quick and easy and she was very enthusiastic about getting the job done well. I couldn't complain if I wanted to, nothing to complain about. I would HIGHLY recommend Spectrum, they've been great.

I tried using the website and on-line chat to transfer my mobile. I had an issue coming over from Verizon, but on-line chat wasn't available due to technical difficulties. After 30 minutes, I switched to phone support. It took over an hour for them to get the phone switched over. It was a very frustrating experience.

It’s been extremely frustrating and difficult. Once you are sold the service that’s it, it seems. Everything comes with poor instructions, so I found myself having to call customer support constantly for information. Getting someone to provide the phone buy back form and link as promised before day 30 has been a joke! I guess this is how they get out of not having to pay for the phones after they are activated. I don’t know if we will make it because Spectrum hasn’t or won’t provide the form or proper link for us to submit our form and paperwork on time.
Once we made the transfer with Verizon they wanted their money immediately (understandable), but Spectrum’s attitude is, "We got you signed up now so it’s all on you to deal with." We never would have switched from Verizon. We should’ve just changed internet to Verizon like I had intended when I first called Spectrum to cancel! Now I am stuck with Spectrum for a year after canceling with Verizon after 24 years.

Very disappointed with Spectrum Mobile. My price went up, and I still can’t get a straight, clear explanation for why. When I signed up, the rep made it sound amazing — like the service would be super fast compared to other carriers and that it was a “cheap” option. But in my experience, that was oversold and didn’t match what I actually got. What frustrates me the most is how it’s handled when you ask questions. It feels like they don’t really care, and you get bounced around instead of getting a real answer or a solution. Because of the unexpected price increase and the way everything was presented, I really do not recommend Spectrum Mobile.

It takes sometime to get to the correct person or department at Spectrum but after you get the right person it’s very easy to navigate. It’s only been 2 days since we’ve changed mobile service but so far so good. I will say I’ve been a spectrum internet customer for 24 years and the pricing has gone up substantially over the last couple years. I spoke to a customer service representative a few days ago and she said I could get internet service down from $90.00 to $50.00 for a year. I called back the next day and another customer service person in a different state said there is no deal and I can either pay the $90.00 or move to another carrier? After speaking to sales department I assume and bundled my internet and mobile they were professional and courteous. Hopefully we will be satisfied with both services going forward.

During a visit to the Spectrum store, to return equipment, I had the service representative ask if I would be interested in switching my mobile service to Spectrum. I told her I was satisfied with my current service. She then asked if she could share with me, the current offer. As she was pleasant, smiling, and had quickly taken care of my returned equipment, I said yes. Long story short, this representative was, very knowledgeable, excellent speaking voice, and very patient with any concerns I had. One of the best experiences I’ve had in all the years I’ve had Spectrum services. She made the change in service a very relaxed experience!

"The Don't bug me attitude, I just work here" is their Model.

Customer service rep was rude and absolutely refused to help. I am thinking of just getting rid of Spectrum altogether. The WORST!!

I enrolled Spectrum bundle service, phone, mobile, television, and Internet on Thursday. They came right out the next day and installed the modem, the lines, etc. Jason, the service tech seemed really very confident and I was stupid enough to trust him. I have two smart televisions, neither of which can be loaded with Spectrum’s Wi-Fi. I was told I would receive local channels like local ABC, CBS and NBC and FOX channels that was a lie. The salesman told me to get my immediate subscribe all day Saturday, part of the day Sunday and all day Monday was spent working through the evil Spectrum robots. Impossible to reach tech-support and stupid because I have a bundle service, but I had to work through separate robots for Internet, for television, for mobile when in fact, my problem is that the damn television is not reading Spectrum’s Internet.
It has no problem with US Cellular. Sorry I switched after four days. When I wake up tomorrow, Spectrum will have strung a line across the street when I already had fiber optic cable installed before I even moved in, it will be giving me a modem and a Wi-Fi that are totally useless for my needs and they’ll probably charge me for the entire month. I have not once been able to get a human tech support to help me solve the problems. Four days of constant urge to rage. Quit people, it’s not worth it. They suck!!!

Absolute trash company for any of their services, including internet! STAY AWAY FROM TRASH SPECTRUM!!!! They are NOT a reliable internet company!! They DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS AT ALL!!! I have to use them unfortunately because it's the only internet in my area with the speeds for my gf to work from home. They NEVER provide a reliable connection, EVER. I came in to transfer 3 mobile phone services and midway I decided to add a 4th line. He was competent, professional and patient! I signed up for Internet and a free phone line for two years. They forced me to change the plan on my existing phone to full price in order for me to get my second phone for free. I'm not currently working and I can't afford the additional fee. Had they told me what I was signing up for I never would have done it. Now my bill is higher than before making the new phone not free.

The customer service agents were helpful when I ran into a credit card issue that delayed my initial order over a holiday weekend, resulting in the phones I intended to order running out of stock. They helped me to straighten out the order, pick different phones, and get the order shipped and activated - all in top-rate form. The agents were pleasant and weren't condescending at all, and they focused on solving the problem and making sure I got what I wanted. It's a great recipe for success.

Switched from Consumer Cellular, better price better service. Live in NY have optimum only provider in Suffolk county. When you call for service it takes at least 30 minutes or more before you get a person to help you. Spectrum is within couple of minutes there somebody to help you. They are very helpful and professional and speak very clearly. I am very happy with the service and all of the people I have dealt with.

Horrible customer service and extremely uneducated staff. Spent hours and hours on the phone and going to the store in person. Transferred several times every time I called and had to repeat my name and address and what my call was about every time I got a new person on the line.

I agreed to a two year plan including mobile, streaming and internet. So far, the internet seems fine now, but my tv did have a few buffering problems while I was changing my mobile service, which surprised me. It has not happened since. I have not fully tested the mobile service yet, but I am getting texts and did make one call. Email seems to load slower than my previous carrier. The streaming option was difficult to set up. Even though both my televisions were quite new, neither could load the Spectrum app (Hisense). I searched the internet and found someone who said to get a Roku device. Luckily I had a 10 year old Roku that I never used and I got one tv working, but I do not like the extra layer of integration and the fact I will have to buy another Roku for my bedroom tv.
The selection of channels and the quality of the display is fine. All told, for the life of this contract I will save $70/month as I had a (slower) internet provider, a streaming service and a phone provider, all separate. The tech spent about 2 hours to complete. So far, everything seems to be working well, but the real test will be more use. A list of tvs that the Spectrum app works best on (or doesn’t work on) would have been helpful.

Spectrum's processes are broken! It took me almost 2-days to port and activate 4-lines. Trying to contact Support for help is a joke. Once connected, everyone has an excuse and is "sorry" for my experience. I wish I would have stayed with Verizon.

I am incredibly frustrated with Spectrum and their dishonest billing practices. I was promised a lower rate by a customer service agent, but that promised rate never appeared on my bill. Instead, I saw the price creep up, and when I called to resolve it, I was given excuses rather than solutions. They clearly do not honor the promotions they promise to keep you on the hook. To make matters worse, when I decided to disconnect, I was told that because I cancelled at the beginning of my billing cycle, I am still responsible for paying for the entire month, even though I will not be using the service. Being forced to pay for an "unused portion" of a service is predatory. It is a terrible policy that forces customers to pay for a full 30 days even if they stop service on day two.
Spectrum makes it impossible to save money, between lying about promotional rates and refusing to prorate final bills. Bottom line: If you are thinking of switching, beware. You will not get the price you are promised, and if you leave, they will charge you for a month of service you didn't even use. Save yourself the headache and go with another provider.

Internet rate was going up, so had called to cancel. Upon discussing everything with the Spectrum rep, I found not only I could get a better rate, but greater bandwidth (1 GIG). Then, after 20 years with Verizon, move our 4 cell phones over to Spectrum and save a LOT of money!! As a broadcast (radio/TV) technologist and director of engineering, I'm not an easy sell. But the people at Spectrum were all U.S.-based, fast to hop on the phone, and VERY personable, pleasant and informed! VERY happy with the people I worked with.. and with the deal Spectrum offered me!

The transfer process with Spectrum was smooth, quick, and easy after being with AT&T for over twenty years. I definitely recommend the switch if you are offered a device installment plan buyout incentive like I was.
