DSL is not fiber. Stop marketing DSL to fibe to try to trick old people/county dwellers into buying your garbage 10 mbps internet. It's absolutely ridiculous. Only get Bell internet if it's offering 100 mbps or higher. If not get starlink because 89$ for 10 mbps internet is atrocious and a scam.

The Worst Experience with Customer Service for my Phone. Was with Bell 17 Years ago and had bad experience (With him etc internet). Decided last year to go back with Bell only for my mobile phone. Bought my New phone at Yonge Collage store (near Collage Park). I haven’t had good service, couldn’t connect anywhere, low service line. Went in store to solve the problem, both guys (employees) very rude very unprofessional. Called Bell, another Lady (customer service) there trying to explain her everything, she keep saying, "can’t hear you", asking me same question 4 time. Trying to explain that’s the reason I’m having problems with Bell, bad connection.
Talking also very hard to load uploads, then the stupid question comes again (did you drop the phone). Then she hung up on me. Bell keep calling living voicemail, they will give me good plan, bla bla bla. Then one of their representatives called me next day to give me promotion, I’m trying to explain him what happened. He also hung up on me. Then he called me an hour later telling me, "Sorry didn’t have service, line cut off!"
I know customer service job is NOT EASY, they have to deal with everyone, but in same time they have to provide with help and trying to be nice when they see customer is not trying to be violent or abusive, just need representatives help solving problems and issues. I’m trying to connect with Customer Service to make a complain that didn’t happen (they put you in answering machine) never can talk with representative to solve my issues/problems!! The Worst of The Worst Customer Service Experience I had a week ago. Then I canceled completely!! Never with Bell Again Never!

The Bell technician was highly skilled and pleasant. He hooked up my internet, phone and cable for me and made sure everything worked before leaving. I will deal with only bell from now on. Important to know ask for professional installation when you order your products. They will charge 150 dollars but it's worth it. The bell technician even rewired one of my circuits so I would have a phone jack in the living room of my apartment. What a difference from Rogers service technician which wasn't able to get anything to work except the internet. Rogers had a back issue that needed three days to resolve. Needless to say I cancelled rogers and switched to bell.

Ongoing problem for 6 months. Put Bell service phone and internet on temporary suspension for the winter time at the cottage location. Every month for 5 moths kept getting billing for internet only. Customer service gave credit to cover billing but did not solve problem. On the 5 month internet billing solved but started getting billing for cottage phone that was sill on suspension. Finally when re-activation was to start the phone was not in service. Was on a phone for over an hour with 3 different people to activate cottage phone. One more issue and time to terminate bell.

After very poor quality service with Bell I cancelled my subscription and went with another provider at the end of January 2024. The new provider contacted Bell informing them that their services were no longer required. Bell kept contacting me asking me if I was certain that I wanted to cancel. Finally they accepted and cancelled phone, TV and Internet. I received a prepaid label from Bell to return their equipment. I packed their equipment carefully and took it to the Post Office. It was mailed by Expedited Mail and they received the parcel on the 5th of February with signature. WHY THEY DON'T WANT YOU TO RETURN THEIR EQUIPMENT TO A BELL STORE?
Now after paying my final bill, I keep receiving ebills for services and for equipment that had not been returned. Their last bill was for more than $1,000. And they are wondering why the company keeps losing clients? Their modem was ineffective sending the signal in my house but I could get the signal from my neighbor. I was told that my house had many walls! We are going to end up in front of a judge. I am including photos of their equipment that was returned and probably being used by another sucker.

I had the worst experience with custumer service. Rogers is 10 times better. I would never purchase a wifi modem or any other service from them again. The representatives did NOTHING and wasted hours and hours of my time. Then after dealing with them I went in person to sort the issue and was treated horribly and with the utmost disrespect and condescending attitude. In fact he referred to me as green (the colour of my shirt) and mocked me with his coworker. If I could give negative stars I would.

It’s absolutely ridiculous and disgusting.

The owner of this company should be the luckiest person in the world. I have enterprise service with them and unfortunately there is 5 yrs term. The application does not function properly as every single month I pay the balance online and still it shows outstanding balance even. I had pre-aurthorised payment and the system was not able to take the fees and there was due balance and I needed to call the support center. The support people gives you different information if you talk with agents each of them will give you different information. Otherwise, stay away from this company and do a favor to your friends and family by keeping them away from this company

I have a very bad experience with Bell. They allowed you to exceeds the maximum data in your plan only for 300 megabyte and then charge you for 50 extra dollars while my whole plan is 45 dollars for 30 gigabyte data. I called customer service and they supposed to adjust it for me after 2 months but they did not. I DO NOT recommend bell at all.

While the service was decent, but when I went in to cancel it was ‘oh I see you’ve been over paying for an older service… we’ll update it’. Thanks but then why not inform me when cost and service changes occur? Calling to cancel change anything is is waiting on a call to get transferred three times to someone else and given a sales pitch for stuff I don’t want. Then after finally canceling and returning the router I get charged $230 for the router I returned to the store. That means another runaround call to Bell and luckily I had the reference number for the returned equipment. Seems internal communication is an issue or perhaps a scheme to squeeze out a few more $ from waiting 2 months when hopefully you’ve lost the return number so they can charge you another $200. Other service providers are much better in their customer service. Bell is terrible.

After being with Bell for over 30 years and just recently having all my Bell Fibe equipment replaced there is a problem 3 nights in a row with the new equipment. I was on the phone with Tech support for hours on end 3 nights in a row and was put on hold again to wait for a supervisor and after more than an hour tonight I gave up. Bell doesn't care about its customers and will only come to my house and replace the faulty boxes they supplied after I agree to pay a $75 charge. BUYER BE AWARE, Bell does not care about their long standing customers and don't stand behind their equipment and services. Go to another provider before getting yourself in so deep as I have with home phone, internet and Fibe TV. Plus when you call them for a technical problem they automatically switch you to on line billing even though I have told them many times that if they can't send me a paper bill I'm not not going to keep their services in my home. Despicable service!

Horrid service! I have internet and TV with Bell. Called on Apr 05 to have Crave added to my package. Spent about 4-5 hours on the phone over the course of 2 days. Told them I wanted it, they signed me up, and I never had access to Crave. I kept calling back and was informed that it was all good on their end, maybe give it more time. This was after talking to multiple service people (Customer Service, Tech Support). Finally after hours of Bell not being able to provide me access to a Bell offer, I advised them that I no longer wanted Crave through Bell and would, instead, be getting Crave through Prime Video.
All during this interaction, the Bell employees checked and insured me that none of my bundle combo discounts would be affected by this addition of Crave. Bell does not appear to have any concern for the time the customer has to wait (hours) on the phone to have any task completed. Finally, Customer Loyalty Customer Service cancelled my Crave request one day after trying to sign up for it and never actually having access.
My next Bell bill came in and there was a Crave charge of $9.53 to cover my apparent subscription from Apr 05 to Apr 17. Also, 2 of my bundle discounts had been discontinued (one for $60.00 & one for $5.00). Called them and spent another 70 mins on the phone trying to have these discrepancies corrected. End result, a Case Representative will reach out to me because the Service Reps and the Loyalty Rep could not correct any of these issues. They recognized the issue but did not have the power in their roles to make the changes.
Now I'm sure I will have to spend another couple hours dealing with a Case Rep and see what they decide to do about it. Absolutely frustrating and poor results from a huge company that makes around $25 Billion a year and thinks they are the greatest. It floors me that this started by a customer requesting more service from them and they just could not figure out how to provide it!

Our bill was 189.22 APRIL 2023 now it’s 253.03 in just one year. Contacted by Videotron and offered basically the same package minus Hollywood Suite but gain Crave tv for 197.00. Bell says they cannot do this even though we’ve been a customer for 8 years. We are only asking to match. If you calculate the hike that’s close to 34% increase in less than a year, I know we had some promos but this is ridiculous. The service department is good but their hands are tied to match prices and this is not good. Unfortunately we are going to have to go with videotron. I would expect better treatment for long time loyal customers who never missed a payment. I guess loyalty goes only one way.

We have been with Bell for many years. We currently have 4 cell phone lines with them. We looked at purchasing a new phone back in October. We were not receiving it and my husband kept following up on the status. Come January, we contacted Bell again as we still didn’t receive our purchased cell phone. They advised us the order was cancelled and couldn’t provide a reason. We ended up purchasing our phone from Best Buy. We are now trying to add a line to an existing cell phone. After spending way too much time in the phone with an agent, she transferred me to another agent for an approval process. The process was approved and the agent told me the previous agent would call me back. They could not provide me with an ETA?!?!
I have called back three times now and it’s been over a month - when calling back, it’s minimum a 20 min call and the keep telling me they will have the original agent call back the same day or the following day yet no call back. I spoke with escalation today and they were great but said they should report my concern but not that it will be reporte ?!?! They then transferred me to another agent to go through the whole process of ordering a new line. I advised them it had already been done and they said they would have the original agent call me back?!? And asked for a different agent and they said they first had to call the initial agent and asked if I could be placed in hold again!!! In total I have spent over 4hrs in the phone with Bell! I am so frustrated!!

I was a loyal patron of Bell for what seemed like an eternity. However, my patience finally ran out, leading me to terminate my services in November. Let me tell you, it was a saga of never-ending frustration. Firstly, let's talk about the bills. They were about as stable as a house of cards in a hurricane. Every month, without fail, they'd swing wildly without any coherent explanation. And if that wasn't bad enough, it meant I had to carve out precious time from my hectic schedule to engage in the infuriating ritual of contacting a representative who seemed to be operating in an alternate reality. Despite my repeated attempts, the issues persisted like a stubborn stain.
Fast forward to my decision to part ways with Bell. You'd think that would be the end of it, right? Wrong. I'm still haunted by bills from Bell, like some kind of ghostly reminder of the nightmare I endured. Oh, and let's not forget the delightful emails accusing me of keeping their equipment, despite having clear confirmation that I returned it.
In a desperate bid for resolution, I attempted to escalate my concerns to someone supposedly higher up, Hilda. Yet, to my dismay, it seems like she's as adept at ignoring problems as her underlings. My inquiries remain unanswered, my issues unresolved, all while I'm left to grapple with the aftermath of Bell's incompetence.
Save yourself the headache. Steer clear of Bell like it's the plague. Their customer service is a farce, their billing practices are a joke, and their overall attitude towards customers is nothing short of disgraceful. Don't make the same mistake I did. Choose a provider that values you as more than just a number on a balance sheet. Bell certainly isn't it.

1/10 - I would avoid Bell. After 3 different calls to get the account set up, and after asking every customer service agent to stop trying to upsell me on everything, TV, Mobility, Cable, home phone (who uses these anymore). I finally got a technician out. 5/10 - First Technician - I was not home and I had the property manager let him in the unit. He did leave me his number for any questions. When I noticed the ethernet boxes in my unit which are suppose to be available for both Bell and Rogers customers not working I called him back he tried to help, but said another tech will need to come out.
1/10- 2nd Technician - This dude was useless beyond belief... In the end he didn't try and get the box to work and gave me a "workaround" which was going to be added to my account but I was not told about this. It increased my bill by 10.00 a month. 2/10 - Bell Chat box - this shit never worked my space bar when typing in the chat box would stop working. I asked them to have someone call me and one week later I am still waiting for that call.
Overall - I would avoid Bell, I have since switched to Rogers. They tried upselling me once, and I told them I wasn't interested and they left it at that, the Bell agent told me to stop talking and let him continue his speech. The Rogers Tech told me that he needed to fix the ether net box, and is going to come back to make it work. The Bell tech didn't even look at the ethernet box, or try and fix it he gave me an more expensive workaround. I am not paying less for the EXACTLY SAME internet. Bell said it was 3. upload/dl but I never once seen these speeds. My rogers 1.5 is getting BETTER download speeds. Overall I am much happier with Rogers.

I had this discussion with them 2 years or so ago and to expect or demand any customer let alone a 90 year old to do paperless billing is not reasonable. It serves them but not their customers. I have been sitting on hold with a communications company for over half an hour to talk to them about this and I am tired of being the inconvenienced customer for a huge so called communications company. For a communications company they stink at communicating.

It all started with Bell salesperson who is insisting that their internet is superior, I told him that I had a problem two years prior with their internet, he insisted that it has improved since and said that I can cancel, no obligation if it’s not to my expectation. The day it got hooked up I realized I had same problem I was having two years ago. Toshiba laptops can’t find my home network, after two days trying to resolve the issue they finally told it is not compatible and I have to buy external modem for the laptops. Canceling was another painful experience and I had to give up my home phone that I’ve had for 25 years. I am really mad at the salesman and his manager who tricked me into switching a week and half of agony.

Bell Canada are known for having the worst service department in their respective business. I left Bell Canada 5 years ago due to a wire that was hanging across the road. Myself and neighbors living on the street contacted Bell to request an urgent service call. School buses run down this street and we had to tie a red cloth on the wire to alert vehicles. It took Bell Canada 4 days to fix it. I came back to Bell Canada to take advantage of their new Fibe Services. I placed an order 3 days ago for some products. I was told it would be delivered the next day. I waited around all day and it didn't come. I called and was told it would arrive the following day again. I waited around and again it didn't come. I called again and spoke with a manager who told me it would be 3-5 business days. I was obviously not happy.
I spoke about the improper training their agents have and that the issue for me was waiting around for 2 days in my house and the product not arriving as the 2 agents told me. She said there were no notes on file that the agents told me I would expect my products in a day or two. I said listen to the recordings that you say these conversations will be recorded for quality and training purposes. She said we can't listen to those. I said so you are set up to give customers wrong information and have no way to track and then see that your agent require better training as your recording states. I also said so the customer has no way to prove that their services are inadequate and the customer should be able to cancel their contracts early without penalty. Bell Canada is set up to fail their customers and give them no way out without penalties. Avoid them at all costs.

We were unable to download the app or do it on line. So we came to the shop and the shop assistant suggested a $40 plan for unlimited calls and 2.5G of data. We purchased two vouchers $15 & $25 and activated them.
Two days later we received a message, that we have to top up our plan. Apparently, because we activated the new vouchers two days before billing circle, these two vouchers expired in two days. The assistant at the shop didn't know, that we have to activate after the billing circle. For example, we purchased first plan on the 17th of the month. But we topped it up on the 15th of the next month, our plan expired in two days! We paid $80 for two phones for the plan, which expired in two days! How does it work??? Called customer service and they explained me, that it's ok. I have to purchase another plan for the next billing cycle! Bell Canada 2023. I was approached by a Bell Rep. (door to door) on February 27, 2023. At the time I was having trouble with my previous provider concerning download speed and buffering of tv programs I was trying to watch. The Bell Canada offer for 3 services (Internet, Fibe TV & Home phone) including a new customer promotional $ 200. Gift Card seemed attractive.
The representative assured me that all correspondence and billing would be provided in English (showing me where she ticked the box for services in English) and that the order could be modified at any time prior to installation. She provided me with the phone number for the “Bell Installation Assistant”. Received my proposed contract via email in French only. Requested this in English from the rep., the installation assistant and the customer service without success. Made my way thru the proposed contract and made the following changes on March 9th prior to installation.
- Fibe TV - change number of channels from ACL10 to ALC20.- Telephone - Change the call display name to my wife’s name.
- Remove the Bell Message Manager feature.
- Change the Canada wide long distance option to Quebec only long distance.
These changes were confirmed by phone with both the Installation Assistant and the Customer Service Departments on March 9th. Installation completed on March 14, 2023 – Now the horror begins! Contract for approval was only in French. Bell refused to provide the contract in English. First Bill in French only, Bill was wrong showing, only ACL 10 not ACL20, long distance was Canada wide, and the phone display name was still wrong. Bell refused to provide the bill in English. I contacted Bell customer service and advised that the bill needed to be corrected and that I would pay the bill once I received it in English. Unfortunately, after 10 days of the bill being due, I had no response. Erring on the side of caution, I decided to pay the bill. Not that Bell had provided any acceptable level of customer service and deserved payment, but rather that (right or wrong) Bell could affect my credit rating for late bill payment.
Going forward 2 months, Bell decided that I was not eligible for the $ 200. Gift Card due to the late payment of the first bill, regardless that the bill was wrong and was not in English. To add insult to injury, by April bill showed an additional charge of almost $50. for changing from ACL10 to ACL20, changing the Display Name and changing from Canada wide long distance to Quebec only long distance. Even though these changes were confirmed by phone with both the Installation Assistant and the Customer Service Departments prior to installation. ANOTHER hour on the phone to argue and get these charges reversed!
Bell Canada has a strange system of customer service that involves “no-reply emails” that require the customer to call “customer service” if there is an error. Once you call customer service, you are connected to an off-shore call center to try and resolve the issue. The problem is that they will never give you a reference number. Instead they provide you with “my name is Richard and my employee # is **”. In this way, when you call back again because a problem has not been corrected – there is no reference trail. After 10 months, I still do not have the call display name that I requested and they have NOT disconnected the phone message manager!
In retrospect, it wasn’t worth changing to Bell. They did not provide the service that they assured me they would provide. They stiffed me on the $200 Gift Card.I have spent more than 30 hours on the phone with my Bell Rep, The Installation Assistant and Customer Service to save $20 per month. It’s a crime that Bell Canada can provide such a poor level of NON-Service and then are able to affect the customer’s credit rating even though they are totally in the wrong and did not provide the agreed upon services. IT WASN’T WORTH IT! I WILL NOT RECOMMEND BELL TO ANYONE I KNOW!

Knowing just recently that Bell is the parent company of the Source and after seeing full negligence in dealing with this complaint and giving ample chances for the Source management team to interfere, which it seems doesn't care, I thought Bell management would be more keen to save their sister company and consequently their reputation, especially since I had a fairly good long history dealing with Bell products. The case background is listed below, and that has been sent to the source team with no response.
The worst ever customer service, with record-low professionalism. They claimed that an item out of two ordered was shipped to my home, which I explained several times and showed them by pictures that it's only one item that was shipped and the other is missing. When I asked them to talk to a supervisor, they said that no supervisor was working over the weekend!! I walked by their store in Oakville Mall, and I met with store staff, whom I believe would require immediate training on how to deal with customers in a much better way!. After showing them the parcel with only 1 item received in it, instead of handling the situation and taking responsibility after doing their due diligence, they just jumped to an argument and made a direct accusation, saying, 'How can we make sure that you didn't take out the item from the box??!!
A few days later, I got a call from one of their managers, named "M", - I'll stay with her initial at this stage - which seemed in the beginning to be cooperative, and she sincerely apologized that there was an issue in their system and they're investigating what could have went wrong.. etc and promised to take immediate corrective actions including meetings, training, etc and asked me to go and collect the missing item.
Meanwhile she admitted how bad the situation was handled from her team and as matter of apology and as a little compensation to this awful experience, she offered a reimbursement of one of the items order value around 250$, while keeping the shipped item, which I felt a bit embarrassed to accept money and felt more appropriate perhaps if they wanted to make a gentle courtesy to offer an equivalent amount in a gift card, and she accepted. A few days later, I was surprised to be sent a gift card for only $25 instead of $250—a very cheap trick!!
I gave them the benefit of the doubt and asked several times to talk to this manager until finally she answered, and in a very arrogant tone, she claimed that I already declined their generous offer to get reimbursed, and what they will offer is only $25, not $250, and either to take it or leave it, despite our agreement to issue a similar amount but in a gift card!!
Finally, and to stay fair in my feedback, a well-deserved credit should go to their store manager at Oakville Place, who is the only person who understands basic management and customer service skills, for his attempts to help with un-collaborating, call centers, and online supervisors. Feel free to review all the recordings to check how awful and unprofessional this case was handled, The case now goes beyond being a professionalism issue; it's more about credibility and integrity.

Their customer service is terrible, their product is horrible and they are advertising Bell Fibe as though they’ve invented something new-it is worse than everything else they’ve had before it.
My family cannot watch television since we switched to Bell Fibe television. I am not someone complaining who has not given them a chance, but I do not have enough time in my life to call support and have them ask me to unplug their products over and over to see if maybe that’s the problem. I love sports. You cannot watch live TV on Bell, because it is nothing but a pixelated mess. The concept of calling in to fix it and to know that you’re going to be asked to unplug the receiver and then the modem and then the modem and then the receiver, and then both of them at the same time, while standing on your head, is the most insulting customer service I’ve ever experienced.
This is only a rant because I cannot get anybody at Bell to care and I’m going to cancel and I want to make sure that I’m putting in a review on every single vehicle I can to make people question Bell Canada. I’m guessing that $200 a month on average for 12 month a year for 20 years should be enough of a client to have somebody give a crap. Absolutely, fed up.

I contacted them and explained that I have the physical cheque and confirmed my information with them. They were able to confirm the account and the credit. After I provided all the requested information to replace the old cheque as requested by the bank, after more the 45 minutes in the call, my issue was transferred to a person that did not want to be identify and was acting as manager of the department. To my surprise this person informed the issue was not her problem, informed my call was a waste of her time, and hung up on me.
Looks to me Bell probably is the worse place to work. Image how they treat theirs employees, if they do not have any consideration, interest or respect for their customers. What matters is not the value that is owned by Bell but the company integrate to do what is right to their clients, employees and the community it should serve.

Few months with Bell and I’m cancelling my service and going back to my old wireless company. They can’t even keep track of payments made by credit cards on their own app and customer service has a hard time communicating. And service is very patchy in Toronto and Vancouver. The cut backs are obviously affecting their customer service department.

The following day we didn’t hear anything so called at noon and we were assured the technician was coming that day. Well, 5 rolls around and nothing so we reached out to Bell and are now told that there is not an appointment in their system. Is this some kind of joke? Their customer service quality is below zero. Bunch of people with half ** English answer their calls. I am not sure if it is outsourced to India or Philippines. Anyone answering the calls at customer service department of Bell Canada has an accent of either of those countries. I called them about an issue in early September. After being on the phone for over half an hour, an agent said that they would walk me through the process. After she took me through the process, she said that I would be on hold and another person would finalize the process for me. After waiting over half an hour, another representative came on the line. They told me that there was no record of the process the first agent started, and they again took me through the same process and then told me that I would again have to wait on hold for someone to complete the process... this cycle happened several times. Finally, after several hours, someone from Bell told me that the issue was taken care of. Now it is almost the end of October and the issue is not resolved yet. Bell is still charging me hundreds of dollars for services that I am not receiving. I do not appreciate Bell's lack of character and virtually non-existent customer service.

One telephone number was charged $278 for one month. Said it was due to a roaming charge for one day in U.S.A. Spoke to FINN, now saying that I need to go back to the store. Went to Store and Harsh (in training) told me they would call me back, no call back. Calling for 3-4 weeks to get the phone number ported still not ported. Spoke Josh. ** said that next agent would be able to process the cancellation Back to walmart store, they can cancel and return my phone with an exemption, but I will lose my number. Had to pay the balance of $130.00. Cancelled and number was lost. Darshandeep said he will no longer help me because it's too complicated.
Went to another provider to try to get my number ported to a new account. Bell has to reactivate my contract in order to port over the number, Venus (Bell) reactivate my cancelled account and retrieve my number. But now my contract is no longer cancelled and saying I need to pay a cancelled contract fee when I was within the 30 days when I first tried to cancel. Other phone line cannot retrieve number still and outstanding balance for one month sits at $478. Please someone help me with cancelling the phone number and the excessive charges they have placed on me for 1 1/2 months of service. It it unfair they are charging me so much money for my child roaming for a short period of time and then child turned off the roaming.
All employees spoken to at bell. (Paul, Mania, Sheena, Anne, Finn, Venus) all passing me around bell back and forth to departments for the entire day. Spent nearly two hours in store. Update- one month later and they have even added device balance for a device I returned over a month ago. Saying they have not received the device back. Spoke to everyone and ended up speaking to a " CB" who again says I need to go back into the store since they didn't receive the device. I fully told them the person I returned it to and when. My internet doesn't work (1202 error) and Bell has tried their generic solutions to fixing it (including sending a tech), but nothing works... yet Bell continues to take my money. I continue to get no WiFi. For added context, this issue occurred and Bell sent a tech to fix it. The issue went away, and within one hour of the tech being gone, the issue reemerged. The tech returned and "resolved" the issue again, only for the error to reappear in a month or so. This time, Bell didn't even send a tech and instead mailed me a replacement modem (expecting me to return the faulty modem and threatening me with financial penalty if I didn't), which did not work when connected. With my WiFi disconnected for three full days, Bell promised to send a tech YET AGAIN... in another day's time.

I am 68 yrs old and have been a Bell customer for decades. We moved to Orillia on May 4/23 and found that our cell phones (with Bell) wouldn't work inside the apartment. For this reason we contacted Bell to have a land line installed. After many weeks and 2 installer visits, we were advised that our apartment was not set up for a landline and wires would have to be installed running from down the street; we'd also have to have a hole drilled into the apartment from the outside. We were not given landlord consent for this. We followed up re: our poor cell phone service and eventually found out that the tower in our area had been "down" for many weeks and there was no resolution date (due to the persistence of my landlord, we were given a refund as we'd been unable to use our phones unless we were outside.)
I have now, on a monthly basis, been getting a Bell bill for the landline which was never installed in the first place. I have made countless calls to Bell and a month ago I was finally put in touch with a person who would allegedly investigate and get back to me. Her name was "Valerie" and I have her direct contact number. Well, I have never heard back and received yet another bill, and of course it goes up every month. I called and left Valerie a voicemail this morning and have not heard back. Ridiculous. Can I give zero stars?

I have written maybe 2 reviews in my whole life for anything, but I had to for Bell. The worst cell phone service I've ever had, also the worst customer service. I've used almost every cell phone carrier in Canada over the years. With bell, I get poor reception and dropped calls all the time in different areas. What bell does that I haven't noticed any other carrier do in recent years is they drop their band for VoLte to an LTE band that doesn't have the same capabilities and signal as better bands. The speed is not the issue usually as calls don't take up much bandwidth. But when they limit the band to being a specific band for calls, then if that band doesn't have good signal then you're out of luck.
They have got me to replace my sim card 5 times, factory reset my phone 6 times, other resets like network settings etc maybe 20 times and I bought a whole new phone a few months ago to try and see if it would help. I've called them 15-25 times over the past 8 months, and I called them today and they said there is no record of me ever calling them. They said I need to go and get another sim card, a this is the standard first step for an issue they haven't been made aware of. I pointed out that this is basically what I'm told every time and said that even though they don't have notes for my previous calls, they could check how many times I've changed my sim card, and so they said they will send a ticket to the technical department to investigate the issue and get back to me within 7 days.
This is maybe the 10th time they've done this, and each time they call back they ask me to repeat the steps of sim card replacement or resetting phone or certain settings. If I don't comply with each step every time, they say that it's my fault for not following through completely. If I do comply, historically speaking, after 4 weeks and many many hours of doing what they ask, they end up saying that it must be a unique case and they will check the towers in the locations I get the repeated loss of service and will take care of it. Until I call back again...
From what I've seen they go cheap on services, tweak their systems for no good reason to give lower bandwidth, ignore and redirect customer concerns, have rude and incompetent staff, and I assume they take the savings they have with all those and make good ads to get more people into 2 year contracts. My entire family hates their service, but in my case I need to use my phone all day for work and need to sign up to another carrier now and pay for two lines.

My sister agreed and we thought everything was fine then they never did anything so we both waiting for our own account and old bills to pay for it and they never email us the balance, so they end up suspended us, made us pay 1100. Finally they did all that they said my credit with them is bad so I have to deposit $200 per phone line and I’ll get it back in six months which I already find not fair but I did it anyway because I just wanted to deal with the account.
When I talk to one of the representative two months ago to present me with a phone plan which is $45 a month with 60gb no service fee but now they’re saying that that plan never exist and everything me and the representative talked about does not exist. I told Bell to pull up the phone conversation because I know that conversation exists, but they said that they cannot pull up the conversation. Bell mobility guaranteed that each month until the cell service is working, I will get a $70 credit. I called in July and then had to call in August. My bill was issued today and the credit is not on the bill. I am told by the customer representative that can’t happen because I am only allowed two credits. Recently Bell change some receivers not supporting HD anymore and they are providing us with another model rental free of charge so we wouldn't lose the signal and the tv by the same token. All good until a recent update on my receivers and one decide to quit because of it. I chatted with Bell to try and fix and return the signal to no avail. I was told that they would send me another one FREE OF CHARGE because it was their fault - the same model as the one I previously received to replace the obsolete one. After weeks with no receiver being ship to me, I chatted again to be told that the receiver in question was not ship because it's not free. The other twit put his foot in his mouth by telling me that.
I spoke to a manager (speaking I don't like with Bell I want everything in writing either email or chat because when it comes to Bell they are ALL LIARS) and was told that he shouldn't have said that nothing is free with Bell. He propose to a free receiver and would sent a technician FREE of charge again to install it and also in writing on the techinician work order FREE INSTALLATION. To my surprise the invoice of June I am being charge for the receiver. I sent it back along with the rental because I don't anything in my house that belongs to Bell.
July invoice I am charged again for the receiver and all of this is in writing and they acknowledge that they did in fact received the receivers. I chatted again and yes I was told it takes a couple of billing to be fix. In August again the invoice is wrong and by the way I did pay as usual my service but not the extra charges for the receiver and the free installation. I talked to a manager and he gave me his name and phone number in Montreal and explained what happened. The receiver was in fact credited but not the installation of which he did credit me at the time. If you don't check with Bell or keep your mouth shut, how much people are they going to scam and stiff them of money that we don't owe them? So I was credited for the installation and charge for May which I paid. Comes September invoice they are charging me late fees.
I called this dude manager scammer in Montreal. Left messages and he never returned my calls. This is what I mean by nothing verbally with Bell all in writing. I am stuck paying late fees because they won't send it to collection for a small amount but will give me a bad credit that's how Bell work. They are rotten lying scammer and never never ever never will I have anything of their junk in my house. All my receivers belongs to me. They can keep their free rental. One was efficient in their online chat troubleshooter, and hooked me up with a technician who was super professional and fixed the problem our internet was having swiftly. However, that broke our FIBE TV. When I went into the chat again, I had a technician who was incessantly trying to get my phone number, and when I asked why it was always a vague reason like 'I want to call you once I've tried something'. I had to be very assertive not to give it out. Whenever I refused, it only took 2 minutes for him to 'try something' and then it wouldn't work, he'd try something else, and he'd ask for my number again. The end of that chat was forcing me to give my number so he specifically could call me once he arranged my appt with a technician, something the other person I spoke to earlier in the day did not need to have to schedule my appointment.
At this point it was pretty innocuous but when he said 'sweet dreams' as his closer I officially felt creeped out. Did I mention that 2nd chat lasted 2 hours and nothing was fixed, while my PVR was promptly wiped? Yeah. Not only today, but a week ago they drilled into the outside of my rental to install a doorbell despite saying they'd use the holes already there, and they double charged me a few months ago, and took weeks to refund it back. It's been a mess. But this creepy guy ruined my entire night, and was way worse than anything else I've experienced. The actual product is good. The techs are hit or miss. The CS? I took that, after some time unfortunately I lost my phone and wanted to claim the phone which I paid $400 plus, so here I’m paying $25/month for 2 years, which is more that $600 plus this $400 which goes to $1000 plus, which is the cost of new iPhone 12, even after paying this much they send me a used iPhone in brown cardboard box.
That box also was so big that iPhone was shaking all over the box and just send a charger with it which is also not original charger, so if I’m paying $1000 plus to your third party insurance agent, I must be entitled to get new iPhone, because I can easily get brand new IPhone with that, this is just one part, and after some month they again charge me $400 for not returning phone, I shocked that how can I returned lost phone, and when I call bell they ask me call Asurion and also said they can’t help in this, if bell mobility selling this insurance in their retail outlet they must take responsibility also for it, anyway I called asurion, and they told me that my file was put under damaged phone and not lost.
After calling for more than 20 times and 2 month they convinced that my phone is lost and wave those charge, but come on it’s your mistake that if you guys never take my complaint properly and I have to suffer for that and this 2 companies blaming each other for it. Now come the more worst part. This all things affect my credit score for 100 point, can you believe this. This is not my mistake even and I have to face problem, my calling charges plus damage in credit score. Now also still their account is open and affecting my score. Sharing this incident to all people especially those who are new here. Beware of this type of thing. Never buy phone insurance, I will rather say save that much money in your account and at the end you will enough money to buy new phone by yourself plus no problem at all.

I have been a customer of theirs for 3 years in their mobile line service, but I found that the price is very expensive and they have not given me any new offers during these years. After that, I subscribed to home internet, and the price was reasonable for the first year. After the second year, the price doubled. I said that I would like to change this company, but I continued after the Internet accident in Canada, but Bell would not be affected. I said, “I am a good service,” but I said I would change it because of the high price, and from how much?
One day I saw a representative from Roger in the building where I live selling new offers, so I asked him and he actually gave me an attractive offer, so I agreed to change the internet service from Bell to Roger. I also asked him about an offer for mobile phones and he told me, "Yes we have because you will get the home internet. I will give you an offer" and he actually gave me an offer. Tempting and that's the problem with bell.
When I changed my mobile service from Bell to Roger, Bell fined me a $142 bill because I used the data package for an increase of 1.5 GB before the middle of the month. My subscribed package is 8 GB, and when the company changes, it is not necessary to exceed half before the middle of the month, meaning only 4 GB, and I exceeded it. For 1.5 GB, is it possible that 1.5 GB costs me 142 dollars? This does not make sense at all. When I called customer service, the representative told me, "This amount is because you have exceeded half and that you left the company without warning, and if you return to us, I will cancel this entire cost."
He surprised me with an offer of 80 GB. Instead of 8 GB at a cheaper price than what I was at, is this possible? I call it stupidity and lack of interest in the customer, even in the offers, for 3 years and they will not provide any offers, so I returned so as not to pay this amount, but I will not advise anyone to subscribe to them. Thank you Bell for the service without any experience...thank you.

Poor customer service. Poor mobility network. Poor loyalty programs. Not a reputable staff. Telling Bell to go get some learning from Rogers. Rogers much better understanding the customers' need. People do not take a risk to change the carrier.

Bell Canada has very poor tech support and poor customer service with high prices. I am not currently a customer for them and because we refused they install their internet wires they decided to disconnect our Rogers internet wires from outside, and did not care to fix what they damaged.

We have been Bell Loyalty customers for a very long time. All our phone, internet and tv are through Bell. We have noticed a huge improvement in customer service. Less wait time and agents are pleasant and able to resolve the issue. We also appreciate the installation team. Recently, Balbeep serviced our home. He was pleasant and did a great job. With gratitude,

In July 2023, when Bell came knocking, I told the agent that Bell and Rogers are not trustworthy based on my past experiences, dating back to the 1990s. I did not want any direct connections with Bell. Anyway, he convinced the fool in me to switch the internet service to Bell, promising $50 per month life long and all the crap to get me in. He also said the price increase will be only a few cents or a dollar per year, once approved by CRTC. In spite of all the past bad experiences with Bell, the fool, that is me, signed up thinking that this time it will be different. Within less than 45 days, I received a letter in the mail from Faye Kataros, Vice President, dated Aug. 22, 2023 stating that as of Nov. 1, 2023 my price for internet service will go up by $5. That is a 10% increase.
Bell can't even wait for a year to increase my rate. When I talked to Bell about this unreasonable increase, they said it is CRTC approved and there will be ONE or TWO price increases every year. When Bell says ONE OR TWO, you better be prepared for at least TWO times a year. Which means your price will go up drastically every year. When they have buddies in CRTC they can get any kind of price rise approved. The moral of the story is: Bell has shown their true colors many times. So, I should prepare myself to switch back to Primus, which is basically piggy backing on Bell, in order to avoid these shady billing practices from Bell and save myself the pain of spending countless hours with Bell customer support.

Bell is only interested in selling more services. I just spent 40 minutes and was on three separate calls with three separate agents to cancel my internet. The poor agent had to keep trying to sell me at every step. Their best offer for me as a "loyal customer" is still significantly more than the independent ISP I'm switching to. So hopeful that this new company will be better. Seems reasonable to expect to be able book services online, or cancel online -- but no, you can only purchase online. If you try to cancel a service as part of a bundle, Bell will sometimes disregard the cancellation. You can ask for a transcript of the call and surprise, surprise, Bell will suddenly discover that you DID cancel earlier. I would say that their Fibe internet seems fast (hence, two stars) but it's way more than I need, so I've been overpaying.

I have been a long time customer (considered loyalty) that is a joke. I had to relocate from Nova Scotia back to Ontario due to a death in my immediate family. I cancelled everything before I moved, however continued to receive a bill, which was actually a credit. Suddenly, I am now in collections… for $58.00. After I called Bell to find out why and what they were going to do, the response I received was, "You cancelled before your contract was due, so you owed $75.00." The credit was part of the cancellation. And unless I had died, then the fee would be cancelled. Needless to say I told the “response team member”, "I hope you can sleep well at night, putting long term (loyal) customers through this and be proud of your paycheck." Go with Bell but you have been warned.

Bell Canada came to my house on the 28day of July 2023 and installed service to my computer, T.V. and telephone landline. Their customer service stated no increase for 2 years as their Email states. It has been 30 days since I received their service and yesterday being the 28th of August I received a letter in the mail stating my service for these 3 items is going to increase. When I got this service I have in an Email that my rates were good for 2 years. Lies, lies, and more lies. I called this morning (being the 29 of August) and they gave me some bullcrap excuse as to why my rates will increase. I am 80 years old living on a fixed income and I told them, "One more increase and your equipment will be pulled from my house." Is it just me, or do companies like Bell get their employees to lie to new customers solely to get their business. One more increase and Cogeco will be back in my house!!!!

I decided to canceled my service because Bell not following the customer agreement contract. They charged me $194.00 for terminating my contract before the end of my contract. Very bad company and dishonest.

I have been a long standing customer of Bell Canada. I have both high-speed internet and a landline phone. This service has been in my home for approximately 30 years. Bell Canada is upgrading from their copper wires to a newer Network. They sent out misleading information as to the dates that this was going to happen. Their final notice to me stated that I needed to upgrade my services by November the 1st of 2023. If I did not upgrade my service by November the 1st I would be disconnected. Suddenly and without notice in the middle of August my phone and my internet was terminated. After speaking for many days and many hours to several different departments someone connected my phone line and my Wi-Fi signal again. However when I called to get the password to use it they wouldn't give it to me they refused.
The Executive offices blocked my password and disconnected the service once again. They have interfered with my employment my education and my medical appointments that I have via video call using Wi-Fi. I asked them to please connect the service again and then at a later date when they have time they can come and install the new one. They refused. They would only install the new one at a later date but not reconnect the current one that they terminated without my notice. We all rely heavily on the internet now. It is quite understandable they are upgrading their services but they need to give appropriate notice and then follow through with that notice so people have time. It is irresponsible to disconnect someone suddenly this way and interfere so dramatically in their life. And then not assist them in resolving the problem that they created. Subsequently I have received phone calls every single day of Bell Canada trying to sell me more product.
I have chosen to go to a different company for my internet I will no longer have a landline which I really was hoping to keep unfortunately that's not possible now. I also believe that this company should have kept both Networks and given their customers the opportunity to make a decision which one they wanted. When you upgrade to the newer Network and if there is a power failure you do not have landline phone service as you would have before when your phone was plugged into a wall jack. Now your phone will be plugged directly into a modem and if there is power failure you also lose your telecommunications by way of phone. As I write this I have been without services for 10 days and my new services will not arrive until next week.

Called Bell to have the internet. They said, "Sure." Convinced me to get a package with internet, cell, satellite TV. They are not able to provide internet service which in turn I don't want any of the services. It's been hours on the phone and not resolved and they refuse to take down the dish and fix the holes they made. They need to be educated on being able to provide all services in the agreement before doing any installation. Very disappointed, would never recommend this company.

We are switching internet providers for a few reasons and because we live in such a wonderful country, we have so many options! /s So we basically have to pick Bell because there are only 2 other options, knowing that the service they provide is absolute **. We schedule an appt with them to come out Aug 24. Aug 18 calls and we get a call saying someone is heading up to the property for install. We say that we did not have an appt. for that date and no one is available. They said someone is already out on the call.
We ask if our original appt is still going to be honored and they said no, we would have to reschedule. So I have to reschedule an appointment, that I had already scheduled which Bell ignored and sent someone on their own timeframe, and now that the new time frame doesn't work I am told to "reschedule". What the ** is the point of an appointment if you just show up anytime you want to, and then if I'm not there have me set up ANOTHER appointment. It's been 2 days, I don't even have internet yet and I'm already feeling like a classic Bell customer.
