Don't choose this company Bell! I chose and regretted it. I bought a Samsung watch in the official store and it turned out that Bell does not connect the watch if you did not buy it from them. I had to pay $ 140 to switch back to another company! Deal with professionals, so as not to pay with your money later.

I am a loyal client. Suspended TV for 6 months and was not notified of the turn back on date. Full charges 163.45 for 1 month of telephone that I was not even aware I had. No email to advise, no warnings until Bell used my CC to pay the bill in full. I had to drop Bell for terrible cell phone service. Just had to change my modem because my high speed internet would not download Google search pages and now they will not even apply my paid amount to my internet service of which I will be finding a new provider for Internet and TV. What a rip off. Loyal as long they get my money. They will do nothing to help this. Even asked that they give me TV for the time I actually paid for it and they told me they can't help me. How is this ok?

Last week I ordered Bell T.V. and 3 Fibe service. We had a few questions about porting over the previous owner's landline number (my partner's childhood phone number - her mom's house - Mom is now in a "long-term-care home"). From the get-go, it seemed like the CSRs were confused about porting a number, installing a new account, and other minor things. After talking to 3 different CSRs to get an answer that seemed to be a little more knowledgeable and logical about the situation we waited only a few days for the Tech (and he didn't call ahead which was promised) to show up. The 3 CSRs had jumbled the information and created a second job order. We didn't get Service that day... And I took a day off of work for nothing. The second appointment for installation was made and I was only given a timeframe for it after calling customer support and asking, again we were assured the Technician would call ahead.
I took the day off of work, chilled at a neighbor's diagonal to my home, and waited for the confirmation call/text. The window for installation was running down so I walked across the street to my home and gave Customer Service a call. The Technician was at the address and gone citing "no one home". Again no call/text to my number or e-mail that the Tech was on the way. The CSR I had on the phone for this call could tell I was frustrated about losing 2 days of would so far and put me on the line with "Bell Resolution" and Maria. She settles it out and gives me her contact number to call should I have any issues.
On the third installation day, the technician pulls into the driveway blocking us in... I pull out my phone from my pocket, no calls/texts to be seen, I check my e-mail nothing there either. I greet the Tech' and let him know the area where we would like the new box. All is good… Except the Tech’ seems confused about the old account. I assure him he doesn't need to do anything with it, it's for the "other unit" and has the home landline on it. After hearing him drill into the wall I ask "Do you need a hand or do you need a cabinet moved?" "Nope good here” is the response from him. I call Maria's line again, still no answer… I leave an updated message.
After this, he comes to tell me he needs to leave the house to go down the road, when he does I go to have a look at the work, a bad feeling sitting in my gut. The tech has put a hole in the wall in nearly a foot in a half from the corner of the walls. Where it can’t be hidden and will be in the way of a patio door install we will be doing shortly. After sliding out the small cabinet he comes back to the house and I ask him if he could not have installed the line closer to the corner where it wouldn’t be such an eyesore, he answers “That he could have”. I ask if it’s too late to fix it now. He answers “The line is cut and he can’t make it longer”. I ask if we are stuck with it? He responds “Yes”. The picture is attached.
It will take a long time for Bell to earn my trust and at this point, I will not recommend them to friends or family currently. Two plus days of lost wages, broken promises, and a hole in our house that is simply shoddy work and unnecessary in it’s location. I will be calling "Customer Service" again once the Tech leaves. I expect no help will be given... Just more double talk and baloney.

I have dealt with Bell before but have never been as disappointed as I am today. I work with a wealth management firm and our internet and phone suddenly cut out. This is a very urgent and detrimental thing as we have client meetings and trades that need to be executed in a timely manner. I spoke to probably 10 phone reps, all of who insisted they could not locate our account despite me giving all the information that was used to locate my account last time I called. On top of that, I was repeatedly transferred between residential and business departments as they could not figure out which department our Internet service fell under. An hour on the phone yesterday and another 40 minutes today and I got nowhere, Internet is still down, and I have lost all faith in Bell.

Every single interaction made with a Bell associate has given me the impression that nobody really knows how to do their job. They all had something different to say. I went to bell to get internet, the guy sold me a student plan even though I’m not a student. My roommate is a student so we canceled my account and she made one, however I still had to pay for the first month of my account. The student plan I had initially wasn’t available anymore so we’re paying more now. When I called to cancel, the lady said, "Why don’t you just switch names on the account??" I had to explain to her that it takes months to switch names as a previous worker told me and she replied with “oh yeah”. Why am I explaining her own job to her?? I got a cancellation email for my account but never got another email with the shipping label to return the modem. Terrible company, I would switch to a different provider but Bell gets the best reception in my neighbourhood.

Super poor customer service. Was supposed to get a call back about two weeks ago, within 24-72 hours and I still haven’t received a phone call. I have had nothing but issues with my data being extremely slow. They say everything is good on their side, and I have a good plan. They got me to exchange the device and get a new SIM card so I can no longer return it and switch back to Virgin Mobile, who I had no problems at all with. I have a friend who’s with Bell and has no issues. I wrote them a complaint a week ago and have not heard anything back. Such poor customer service with no resolution. Only picked Bell as I have an EPP through work but would rather have never switched to bell. As soon as my plan is over I will no longer be a customer. I have wasted so much time and energy to get this fixed. It’s not worth it.

I would give Bell Canada zero stars if it was an option. Horrible, horrible, horrible. We’ve been with them for years as they were the only provider in our area and their service gets worse and worse. Their prices are way too high, customer service is atrocious (long wait times, cannot understand the representative as they speak very low or sounds like there is an echo), you keep getting the runaround or getting transferred to another department. We had a technician here on Saturday September 28/2024 to upgrade our system. The Bell technician was unable to complete the download of fiber app on our TVs. The technician suggested my husband call Bell in order to obtain compensation for the unfinished install.
My husband has been on the phone for over 2 hours with them after getting transferred 3 times and then the call was dropped by Bell. He first called the loyalty department, was transferred to the technical department, was re-transferred to the loyalty department to have the representative in the loyalty department ask him some information and then although my husband was still connected no sound was coming from the other end, the technician was no longer talking to then have the call be dropped from Bell’s end. While, my husband was calling Bell to speak to them for the fourth time: Bell attempted to call my husband back but they must have been having technical issues as my husband would answer the call to have no sound coming from Bell’s end. Not looking very good there Bell when you’re supposed to be providing services to your customers.

I want to start this by saying that I was a loyal Bell customer for many years. My cellular service was generally good and I didn't think I had many complaints. However, I discovered that Bell has been taking my money for years, not offering to upgrade me to a new phone (though I have a 10 year old phone), no offer to bundle services, offer me a new phone plan with preferred rates for my loyalty, etc. Nothing. I am so disheartened that Bell is increasingly offshoring their services and providing little to no value to their customers. I paid easily double what I should have been paying each and every month for at least four of those years. You can do better, Bell, and you should.

This is a horrible company to work with. I called today to complain that I feel overcharged by paying 120 dollars for phone and internet when everyone else is offering 50-60 dollars now for the same service. I spend 45 min with their loyalty department and got an offer to start paying $139 instead...When I asked how is this a good offer to loyal customers offering to pay even more when asked for a loyalty discount I got yelled back that this is what is in their system for me and I can leave if I am not happy. I happily left for a new company Carry Telecom and got just an incredible service and the pleasure of speaking with a live person.

As a retired Bell Manager I always cringe when having to call Bell. Two years ago I received my 1.5 g Internet on a promotion with Bell TV and Home Phone. Never used the Home Phone and rarely used Bell TV. Called September 29, 2024 to cancel Home Phone and Bell TV but not my internet service. Well it’s October 1, 2024 and my internet is disconnected. Called Escalations and they were able to get it back up and working. I asked if the order stated to have the internet disconnected and it did not! I asked if it has to be disconnected to remove Home Phone/Bell TV and he said no! So my feelings about Bell are correct and have been since 1975. Stay away from their promotions because they will always screw your order up! The name of the employee who mishandled the order is Mark and Employee ID is **. So be very careful with interactions with Bell.

A Bell employee allowed someone else to change our account without proper authorization. This was a scammer who was allowed to make changes to my phone number, take control of my phone and charge 100’s of thousands of dollars in charges to accounts I never created and to my credit cards! There was ZERO accountability from Bell for the disaster they caused in our world by having to report this to the police, Equifax, Transunion and all the involved creditors and banks! Worst experience of our life dealing with this mess! It could have all been avoided had Bell asked for secure PIN and/ or proper security questions before allowing a hacker to invade our lives!
The hacker was able to create accounts with creditors in my name - using all the information in my emails and private phone, because the Bell employee gave the hacker FULL access by allowing them to authorize changes to our account! If you ever get an email saying your account has been changed, that you never authorized, be ready for a stressful crazy ride! Apparently anyone can control your accounts under Bell’s watch.

I needed to increase my internet speed from 25 to 50 and requested a tech. The customer service reps were rude. I was also told I could cancel if I was unhappy. The third appointment I booked for the tech was between 12 and 5 p.m. He called me at 10 a.m. and said, "I was in your area." I told him I was not home until 11 a.m., so he cancelled my appointment even though I was home during the scheduled time. When I called again for the 4th time to say I was home and that my appointment was cancelled, I was on hold for over an hour and said "Yeah, no, you need to rebook." I am shocked that this is how they treat their paying customers.

On September 14 I visited Wireless Wave in Dixie Outlet Mall as my son and I wanted to upgrade our phones. During the process I decided to switch my internet to Bell for a better price than I was receiving from Virgin. My Virgin internet was working fine, I just wanted to save some money. I was told the ‘technician’ would visit on Monday September 16. The day came and went and no technician visited, as well as Tuesday and Wednesday. The ‘technician’ from Bell finally arrived after a few phone calls on Friday. He spent 1.5 hours in total outside and inside my apartment and all he succeeded in doing is shutting off my Virgin internet, and leaving a foul smell in my apartment. He could not get the Bell working, even though they’re the same lines.
So we were without internet, all my entertainment sources and resources are internet based. We had to use the data from our cell phones, fortunately we had just increased our packages. They sent another ‘technician’ who spent another 2 hours to no avail, again only leaving a foul smell in my apartment. STILL NO INTERNET, THEY MANAGED TO SEND ME A CONFIRMATION OF SERVICE AND SET UP BILLING THOUGH. We hooked the Virgin modem back and I called Virgin to cancel my cancellation. I was assured by a Maryann or Miriam that my service would continue. At midnight Tuesday the internet went off, turned off from the office. So we were using our phone data again.
As soon as the offices opened on Wednesday I called and waited 35 minutes to speak to someone who spent 45 minutes trying to fix it. STILL NO INTERNET (which Virgin was easily able to turn off from the office but not turn back on). Yet another Bell ‘technician’ came September 25, he spent 40 minutes sitting in his truck, which my son recorded, when my son called him, he finally came upstairs and glancing at the set-up, made comments about dog hair on my furniture, then said he didn’t know how to fix it and left.
It’s important to note that, yet again, he smelled horrible. Is there not some standard of cleanliness your staff is held to when entering people’s homes? I have yet another technician coming today, supposedly a senior technician. I have very low expectations at this point. Bell Canada (Virgin Mobile) has gone downhill in every possible way in the last decade or so, from customer service, technicians and reliability of service to the simple consideration of their customers time and money.

It took about 9 months to get the home phone long distance from Bell that was part of our package!! Bell’s company Distributel kept charging us for the long distance we used and it seemed that Bell didn’t care about fixing the issue because they were getting more money from us this way. They kept saying that it was Distributel's fault and vice versa. We finally called our credit card company and told them that we were not going to pay Distributel because we had canceled them many months before, in January or earlier. Mastercard was great in helping us. Finally after more calls to Bell they fixed the problem. A few months back, I noticed my bill went up and that they removed the original credit I got for the internet. I had given them a call, and told them if I don’t get the original price I was paying, I would cancel my services with them. The agent who had helped me, said not to worry and that he would return it back to its original price. Fast forward a month, it went back up. This company’s agents just want to get the customers out of their hair and will be dishonest to do so. I was told I would receive the original price I was paying to stay with them but I guess they just wanted me to pay an extra month instead of leaving.
Since then I’ve tried using the very unhelpful app and tried to get ahold of them through calling but the wait would be hours long. I told them I wanted to cancel and I wouldn’t pay until they bring it back to the original price and I ended up getting my account suspended and my internet cut off. I’ve spent the past afternoon trying to just pay it and cancel my account but the agent had told me I can’t cancel my account until the payment processed. So I told him if instead of cancelling would I be able to get my internet back right away and that also wasn’t an option. Overall, wouldn’t recommend the service to anyone.

Not to mention, they hit you with overage charges whenever they can and refuse to find any common ground with their customers.
In the past 6 months, I’ve struggled with mental health after losing my job. I was unable to pay two bills, totaling $180. Instead of offering support or understanding, Bell shut down my entire account. This is a company that claims to advocate for mental health, but where was that support when I needed them most? After paying thousands of dollars to Bell over the years, I was kicked to the curb during one of the toughest periods of my life.
Bell Mobility should be ashamed of their so-called mental health initiatives. It feels like one big marketing scheme, portraying themselves as caring, yet when things go south, they disappear and show zero compassion. There is no middle ground with Bell—they are rigid, unhelpful, and frankly, an embarrassment. I stayed at home using my hotspot to work so that I could be here when they arrived, around 3:45 we received a call that they were on their way, we confirmed the address only to be told the appointment was scheduled at my mother in law’s house, the technician said he can’t come because he can’t change the address, calls were made and issues escalated and we were assured that someone would be at our place today to deal with the issue, we received a call from the technician informing us that there was no issue and nothing to be done, they were sent a second time to my mother in laws house and of course there was nothing to do because she doesn’t have internet.
Technician called back and confirmed our address again, only to call back again and say he wasn’t coming the escalation team said we would be first priority on Friday, between 8-8:30, we received a text shortly afterwards confirming an appointment between 12-5, it gets even better when we received a call half hour after this entire incident from bell sales department asking us we were interested in switching our services to Bell Canada and receive. 40% discounts. I spent a solid hour and a half on the phone with Bell getting set up for wireless service. I got the price, agreed to the term and book a date for the installation. I went and set the cancelation date with the company I was with. The next day I got a call from Bell telling me they were cancelling my installation as they could not hook my internet up at my location. Apparently the tower that services my area was full and they had no more ports left. I asked how I could have gone through the whole process to only find this out now after spending way too long on the phone with them the day before. They said the salesman does all the front end and then it goes to the back end to "see if they can do it." They then tried to sell me on DSL that has speeds slower than 1998 for more money! Horrible business. Horrible company.

I've been a customer with Bell for at least 20 years, over 6 months ago we had issues where the internet in our area went down and was down for several days, once restored my internet was much slower than it had ever been. I spoke with tech support on several occasions and they told me everything on their end was good and it must just be the area. Yesterday I had a tech solve the issue and it turned out my internet was set to 1/5 of the "max speed" I pay for. Today I decided to call and speak to a manager about being reimbursed for paying for the highest speed but getting way less for over 6 months, after back and forth for an hour the best they could do is 150 dollars but charge me 100 per month.
Furthermore the manager pretty much told me they downgrade the speed because the networks old and if you read the fine print it says you'll get "up to" that speed. So you can pay for the highest speed, get the lowest speed and that's okay with Bell Canada. I've already cut off Bell TV and a couple cell phones, I guess it's time to cut off the rest since they don't value customers who've been around for 20 years. Don't waste your time giving them any money.

Bell has the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. I moved & was switching to mnsi.. They told me they would give me a better deal, which they did. When install came the guy put a hole in the middle of my laundry room and placed my modem on the hot water tank.. even though I asked to please not do that.. not only in an odd spot but my office is the next room over and due to him being lazy and end of day he said “this is only spot I can put it.” Mind you no wiring was in the house yet so that was not true. He then placed a new modem in there even though I told him I have mine already from the last house, he also charged me for extra cubes that I already had & said return them if you don’t need them. While this is true I could return, now I have to dig this up and bring to return and wait weeks for my “refund” hopefully. I have never dealt with such unprofessional people in my life.

Bell choose the right name Mobility, because I had to really run for 7 days, extreme mobility, just to return, as promised, the phone after two year plan and ended up that I had no success. The iPhone 13 was in impeccable condition, original box, not a scratch, but they want to grab an extra $400+ from you and hold you, so they put up a great show. It starts with return “choice”, at a Bell store in your city or online, they highly recommend in store as you get a “great experience and a chance to see new products". Aha!. So I dropped the phone, in perfect condition, in time to a local Bell Mobility store.
On my way driving back home I get a call, Bell, a really bad spoken English staff from “The Validation Department" asking my contract number, date of birth and the name of my plan?!?! Without these no return. So I had to dig to get the contract number and provide all info by call #1. Then the store calls as cannot do the return as Bell needs ore info. So I call Bell #2, another bad speaking English, hard to understand, wanted to go trough, again all, of my info and leave a note attached to my ex file. Store calls and asked to come back as Bell wants now me to ship the phone back to them, So I go pick up the phone and call Bell #3 idiot that is definitely saying there is no Store return. I have to Canada Post. To get the labels, online, my account was closed when I dropped the phone first day at the store, so I cannot longer use my account online.
So I call Bell #4 good guy, said it is simple, I got a PR 5 digit return number, phone in a box, Canada Post PR number, done I was told Box, Canada Post, staff there said there is not a valid PR number, must be 6 digit not 5 I got. So I leave Canada Post and I called Bell #5 idiot, saying “what PR number?”. Not such a thing, I must return to store and has the audacity to read/recite from their site.
So I decided to start fresh call. Bell as first time asking from zero how I can return my phone, call #6, she didn’t know. After about 50 minutes on hold back and forth she explains that, strange, she cannot access the return labels from her end as my account is closed now, so she really tried this one. I called her #6, better English and know how. So I go back to the store and I get back my phone, I apologized to it that I tried to dump it, I got it back, it is only $460 plus the 7 days of excitement running and meeting new people on the phone. So I have a new provider now, the phone it is mine. Next story would be Bell Mobility and traveling with the phone, delicious.

My mom and I work at a small store and we only make about $3k/mo. I asked if I could get a discount because we couldn't afford to pay $140/mo. for phone and internet (our internet speed is only 2.1 Mbps download, 0.54Mbps upload btw, overpriced imo). Rep said they could lower it to $120/mo by adding another line and using the new bundle discount. When reviewing everything, they told me it'd be $120/mo for both phone lines and internet. The following month they sent 2 bills. One for $120 one for $80. At no time during the call did they mention I would be charged the additional $80. If I cancel before the 3 year contract is up I'll be charged $500. In addition the price is subject to increase $10/mo per line per year.

I had a phone call of about half an hour with Bell's Loyalty agent Marianne (Employee **) on August 26th around 18h30 which resulted in order #** to cancel my services. I was calling to ask for Internet Fibe service's termination as I was getting hooked up with another Internet provider (a company owned by Bell, name starting with Eb...) the next morning. Obviously the agent tried to keep me with Bell, made me wait long minutes before coming back with an offer (not requested!), to either, stay at 500Mbps for more money than the competition (which is 39$ +tx at the time of writing this), switch to 1,0 Gbps speed for 60$ (it's 59$ at Eb..right now), or to lower my speed to 50Mbps if I wanted to pay less...50Mbps!! 10 times less speed than I'm used to/need to have!
I told her she was out of her mind, I told her how ridiculous it was to charge me more for the same service their child company is offering, and who is using Bell's Fiber network from the central to my house! (It's even a Bell's technician that came to do the installation this morning!)! They don't want to keep long term clients and offer too good a deal and have the work out.. That's one thing, but the thing that drove me out of my mind is the PUSHING AND THE LYING the agent fed me (even after I told her I'm a Network administrator/senior IT tech)! To make it short :
- The competition's connection and reliability isn't as good as Bell's network (False! It's the same Fiber network from end to end, with the exception that the Bell's technician told me he had to move my connection to the BETTER/NEWER Bell's equipment down the street so I would be able to (one day) get 10Gbps service in the future without having to come back to move it later on as the inside the house Nokia modem he installed can manage it already!)
- The competition's speed isn't the same as Bell's, it won't be as fast as advertised (I subscribed to 500Mbps over Fibe), the speed will drop when VERY MUCH when people in the neighborhood use it when they come back home from their 9 to 5 as it's a shared connection. (False, false, false! Read last explanation, plus, it's a dedicated line, not a shared node down the road like Cable service are build, I ran speed tests, it's the same as advertised, Up and Down, and nothing like the 50Mbps she said I'd get with the competition).
- I won't have as good service with the other company's as with Bell.. HAHAHA I won't even comment on that one.. (Online tools and FAQ in my account, Chat 7/7 8h-22h, Hotline 7h30-23h every day, Facebook Messenger, Email, yeah, better than Bell!)
- Other lies about measurement of speed (Bell's speed is faster than competition's same speed with same technology, offered on the same Network, etc).
Anyways, I'm just disgusted by how she wouldn't hold back and lied to my face even if I confronted her, she tried all the tricks in the book and was really just about her bonus for keeping me in.. This should be illegal and sanctioned! Stay away, there's many good alternate providers in Canada, do your research and check comments.. Bell is the absolute worst!!

Bell Canada decided, without informing us, that we had to have fibre optics since they were no longer using copper. So they cut off our service without warning. They will deny it but it’s true. We phoned Customer Service and they were completely unhelpful and had no idea what they were doing. They spoke in jargon which is fine if you work for Bell but confusing for the average person. A technician came to our home the following day. He was doing his job when he told us that Bell told him to stop because we had interfered with “the ticket” - which is impossible. So he just left. The following day another technician came and he seemed angry to be doing his job. He made a few rude and inappropriate comments. A few minutes after he left, everything crashed and we ended up phoning Customer Service again. After a lengthy, frustrating conversation the problem was fixed (for now).
Supposedly the technician didn’t finish the job but who knows. Bell isn’t known for their honesty. Now we have been coerced into having services we don’t want and haven’t asked for. But then these guys still charge me for both the plan and the device, and it just didn’t happen once but thrice. I do have to call their customer service every time this happens, and it takes a good two or three hours. You would be waiting in the waiting list for the first 40 mins, and then one of their employees start talking about their offers and Internet plans, rather than addressing the issue. Unbelievable the level of incompetence and lack of communication in this company. My father's line was cut by a falling branch during the storm of August 9. Today is August 14 and it still hasn't been fixed - the technicians have a way of arriving at 4 pm then saying they "don't have enough time to do it before the end of the day" (yesterday's excuse) and today it was "I need more equipment and another person". Like you didn't assess that in the first call (for which no one showed up but they knew it was a broken cable), nor yesterday's visit when you "ran out of time".
Can not believe the level of disregard for customers' time, nor the fact that a senior citizen lives alone there and has no TV or land line to which his Lifeline is connected. And they have the gall to ask you multiple times to "confirm your presence" for their visit but either the visit never happens or they don't even knock on the door to let you know what's going on even though you've been waiting for them for 5 hours. Of all the businesses that I have ever had the misfortune of coming into contact with, Bell is light years ahead of the absolute worst companies when it comes to service. I was adventurous enough to return to Bell after they literally harassed my special needs child. We canceled our service because their internet was not good in our subdivision. The only landline we had belonged to my 21 year old Down Syndrome child. AFTER we transferred the service to Rogers, they kept phoning my daughter and demanding payment for a bill that was cleared. I spoke to people who told me it was settled and they apologized for the error but two months later they called again.
I then decided to try Bell again - for my cell phone service. They never sent me the SIM cards. My cell phones were never transferred to Bell by Rogers because I didn't receive the SIM cards. I received bills ($700) but when I told them they weren't providing me with the service I was assured that it would be adjusted. For the past 4 months, I kept getting bills. I just found out that my most recent bill for $104 is for "activating" the account (not activating the service).
I NEVER got the service because they never gave me the SIM cards but basically I was charged $104 for calling them. DON'T CALL BELL. Apparently, they bill you for calling them and then they waste your time (at least 1-2 hours per month trying to sort this out). I know it won't ever get sorted out. This is the price I will pay for the rest of my life for having made that call. I will now spend the remainder of my life telling them that they never provided me with the service. They must know because their bills usually show "usage". If they never activated my SIM card because I never got it - they know I didn't use it. SO CROOKED. I will not pass opinion on the product they sell - but they will do anything for a buck. The truth is that it would be so much easier for me to pay the $104 so that I don't spend hours and hours on end trying to fix this mistake. But I won't do it - not this time.

I was told they understand my frustration but unfortunately a 50% discount is the best they can do. Math isn't mathing here!!!! Bell seems to be able to print whatever they want on the bill and then claim there is nothing they can do to fix it. This will be my last statement with Bell and they can send it to collections because I will not be paying it.

I have wasted hours and hours...probably over 20 trying to upgrade devices on my 4 lines. The first new device was sent by courier and it worked but it was attached to the wrong phone number. The next 2 were sent in the mail and neither one would work; but when I contacted customer service/tech department and gave them the serial number and all the information, they could not help me (I cannot remember how many different agents tried to troubleshoot this issue for me, but there were several and everyone put me on long holds!)
I finally had to go to a store 30 minutes away to find someone who could help me. Even then, they could not replace the devices because they had been sent to me in the mail. I had to send them back to Ontario from Alberta in the mail. After obtaining confirmation that the devices were received in the warehouse, it took more than another week before they were processed and my account was released to purchase more devices.
The customer service is TERRIBLE! Bell has outsourced this service to call centers in countries where the workers do not understand English. (Even when they can speak it fairly well, they do not understand it and ask the same questions over and over.) I have spent hours on hold while an agent goes to check something out...like every time I ask a question! If they do not know the hardware, software, and service plans, they should not be answering the phones!
When I tried to get the 4th device upgraded, the rep put me on hold for 15 minutes while he checked to see if there were any iPhone 15's in stock at the store where I wanted to purchase the device. When he came back on the line, he told me they had none in stock; so I called the store directly, and they had a large supply on hand! I AM BEYOND FRUSTRATED with the WASTED TIME, ENERGY, & STRESS caused by this ATROCIOUS QUALITY of SERVICE!

They agreed to a price for the service and the next person who called said that they have no notes of that, then they couldn't find the cell phone account when we called back twice and so we cancelled a month later and they keep saying "oh this hasn't cancelled." Pardon? We returned the equipment to the address the guy whom we spoke to for 2 hours on the phone cancelling their service said to and he said once they received the equipment, the matter would be closed. It was also the address indicated in their email. We have paid the amount to get out of the contract then and 3 times now they have called to say we owe yet another $100+ which we paid each time and then they called yet again. I used to be with Bell a couple of years ago but I am shocked at how much the company seems to have declined.

Bell service is extremely poor. Initially when first purchased wifi speed was average then I bundled to their home security and bell mobile where they put you in a bundle contract. After being on contract there were sudden wifi network issues out of nowhere. I spoke to Tech team. They said No issues found. After few months I was still struggling with wifi and suddenly out of Nowhere I saw Bell increased my wifi bill by $6 per month and now threatening me after 5 months wifi bill will increase by extra $45 per month. Where only for wifi I was paying $50, then $56 after 5 months $95. This is pure scam.
I spoke to CSR Mark from Canada branch. He said this is the fair pricing and nothing else can be done. Even with the price increase their service sucks. Starting of the month the bandwidth works perfectly on all devices. Mid month they limit their bandwidth causing 50% of my devices to not being able to connect. To Whom it may concern, I want to report a potential report of fraud which was tried using Bell customer care. Someone called us and told us that they are calling from the Loyalty department. First they offered us a free Apple watch as a loyalty new customer(Attached is the email). Then after one week we received a Phone Samsung S24 which we never ordered. After receiving the phone we called customer care and they told us someone will call us in a week and this time they can't provide us with a return label/Code at this time. (Employer ID of person we dealt with for the first time - ** (Loren)).
Then we got a call from number - 1877-559-5202 (Jessica) that the phone was wrongly delivered to our address and we needed to send it back to Bell. We thought it could be a mistake but when I received a return label It was under a private (Label attached) name which raised my senses and I went to the Bell Store to find out more and check the legitimacy of the label. Turn out it was a Scam which we can easily pull off under the name of Bell. We then get the number from the store and then we call the Bell legit Customer service number.
I called Bell customer service and the most shocking thing is they initially couldn't find the phone on my account. Which I can see from my Bell App and also verified in the store that it's under my account. After 30 minutes talking with IVY(Employer ID - **). After claiming again and again that I can't find any details of the Samsung phone. She told me that I can keep the phone as they can't track the phone on my account which is a great shock to me. I can't even think she can say something like that and suggest me to keep the phone. I then tell her that I am going to the Bell Store while she can keep it on hold.
After reaching the bell store I tell her that she can talk with someone in the Bell store so they can explain it to her. Then suddenly within a few minutes she provided me with a return code with Canada postal. I am not sure what's going on with Bell Customer care. This all experience is a nightmare to me. Are they trying to force us to keep something which we never ordered. I am so surprised with the customer care service bell is providing to customers and not even listening to customers and trying to forcefully sell phones to customers. I think this email should help them if they want to protect the company reputation. Not thanking Bell for this experience

Updated on 09/05/2024: Bell Canada charges expensive and poor, poor, poor quality in service, in customer service and technician service. Is just a nightmare for who work from home. You can't rely in internet. Today I had a visit of a technician and they call me several times because I was not open the door, and he was in wrong address. For the past 3 months they say the problem is my devices, is the number of the devices I have connected when the problem is the line. I lost work days and the customer service said "we will not pay you the work day you lost so I'm sorry you get disappointed." I pay for 1500 Mbps and always I have less than 200 Mbps. Don't open video calls. Insane.
Original Review: Extremely poor customer services. Arrogant people and treat the customer as a ignorant. The internet just work while I'm with technician on phone and after drop again. In one month 4 calls and 1 replacement of modern. Bell says the problem always is the devices I use and I can not do any video call or having 3 devices connect in same time with 1.500 Mbsp. Bell blame the customer for the wrong installation and I call a technician to my place and he didn't finish the installation because Bell did the affirmation: "we are just responsible for the speed arrived on plug." What's the point?

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. It took me TWO HOURS to cancel my service due to moving to a new home. Seriously, Bell? I sold my condo, so I needed to cancel my Bell internet service (which the developer had installed; Bell supplies the entire building). I waited online in their Chat queue for over an hour - I started at #29 in line - since there is nowhere on Bell's website where you can easily cancel your service (note: all other utility providers have the option available online to notify them of impending moves, and they easily manage to close one account and set up the new owner with just a few clicks).
Once a chat agent finally came online after an hour, they informed me that I needed to *call on the phone* in order to cancel. (Note: there is also no such directive on their website, otherwise I would have just called in the first place rather than wasting an hour of my time. Also, it's 2024. We have technology for this. At least all the other utility companies have it.) THEN, I waited on the *phone* queue for over twenty MORE minutes before anyone answered, then it took ten minutes for the agent tell me my options that he read from his scripts, and after that, it took an additional FORTY more minutes to complete my request.
Not only that, but the phone agent insisted I'd have to provide them with the new owner's name, email address and phone number (which by privacy rules of course I wouldn't have, as that info is privy only to the realtors & lawyers), so I had to patch in my lawyer on a 3-way call to find/provide the new owner's lawyer's info, since their personal information would have be given to Bell only with the client's authorization.
My other alternative was to cancel the account and return the building-wired modem to Bell (only for the new owner to have to go get it all set up & reinstalled again). That's a total of OVER TWO HOURS to say "hi, I'm moving effective X date and need to cancel my service." Even then, the agent said the request was "under review" and they'd call me if they needed anything else. It's no wonder that when I came online to post this review, I see the overwhelmingly negative unanimous opinion of Bell's services. Well-deserved. From a company that generates billions of dollars in profits annually, it's an absolutely atrocious and completely disrespectful Customer Service standard that this is the process we are subjected to. Bell Canada, you should be ashamed of yourselves.

We called support again and were told they would call us back and send someone to install a temporary line on the same day. No one called back and no technician came. We were told someone would come Monday instead after calling support AGAIN.
- Sunday. Customer service rep called to check on the status and we were informed our account showed no appointment for a technician to come Monday. - We have spent literally hours on the phone on hold, calling back and forth with several customer service reps all while being told something different from each person we spoke with. The I upgraded my mobile device and had Crave free for 1 year on my old plan. I knew with upgrading my device my phone plan would need to change as well. Prior to upgrading my device and changing my phone plan, I specifically asked which services I would be keeping from my old plan including my free crave subscription. I was told I would have access to crave for free for 2 years as it was part of the promotion for my specific plan. There was a paper printed with Bell's offers at the time of upgrade showing the promotions. With my busy work schedule and personal life, the last time I had reached out with the rep who helped me was in February. Speaking to bell about crave was on the back burner for me due to the importance of other more pressing matters unfortunately.
I spoke with a loyalty representative named VON today, explained my situation and was told there was nothing he could do. He advised I had credits towards crave for 6 months that I had no idea about. He continued mentioning that it shows on my bill every month. I felt like I was indirectly being told I was stupid and it was completely my fault that I didn’t know of the credit. My plan was broken down to me very well in store, and I was not told of a credit for 6 months. I was told of a free service I would get for 2 years. Everything else on my bill I was aware of. My credit towards my actual bill for 24 months, my device payments for financing my new phone through my phone plan, and my add on service (Apple Watch). I wanted to speak to management or someone above to raise my complaints as I never call in and had never had an issue with bell.
I kept getting shut down and was told by VON that he’d been working there for years and no one would do anything. He wouldn’t connect me to management which was extremely frustrating. I was constantly being cut off as well. I communicated clearly I didn’t appreciate the fact that I was told something completely different than what was reflected on my agreement. I felt like I was inadequately taken care of and have a distrust with the company. Working as an operations manager for a large company, all I dealt with was customer retention. Credits are applied, or a month of bi-weekly payments is waved within reason and with upper management approval of there were issues that warranted said action. The fact that nothing at all could be done was ludicrous to me.
I would not recommend anyone to bell. Maybe they’re great for their phone plans rate wise for long distance/international services. However, customer retention wise, they fall below the bar for members who are actually loyal and don’t constantly call for “issues to be resolved.” Regarding their promotions, I suggests taking photos, screenshots, whatever you need to do as proof in case they try to dismiss a promotion they had claiming, nothing is ever free like VON did. I got crave free for a year. Premium or not it was free, I was not paying, so for VON to say what he said is infuriating. I have no trust in anyone who works for bell and will be considering leaving bell once my phone plan has ended.

I asked the lady with whom I was speaking with if I could receive an email with confirmation I had reported my lost phone to them and suspended/blacklisted the phone, the representative placed me on hold for several minutes and came back to tell me that I would be receiving an email with confirmation.
After not receiving an email the next day I called Bell customer service and asked if I could follow up with regards to my email, the representative said I would not be receiving an email and asked why I needed it. I explained that I needed the email for protection coverage with my insurance so I could submit a claim, he said he was unable to write confirmation and would allow me to speak with a supervisor as they do not allow customer service access to writing personal emails.
Once speaking with the supervisor I was told she could not write written confirmation emails either. After trying multiple times to try to explain that my insurance was requiring this she continued to deny my request and stated that she was the highest member I could speak with. I found this entire interaction extremely exhausting and stressful, on top of dealing with an already stressful situation. The Worst Experience with Customer Service for my Phone. Was with Bell 17 Years ago and had bad experience (With him etc internet). Decided last year to go back with Bell only for my mobile phone. Bought my New phone at Yonge Collage store (near Collage Park). I haven’t had good service, couldn’t connect anywhere, low service line. Went in store to solve the problem, both guys (employees) very rude very unprofessional. Called Bell, another Lady (customer service) there trying to explain her everything, she keep saying, "can’t hear you", asking me same question 4 time. Trying to explain that’s the reason I’m having problems with Bell, bad connection.
Talking also very hard to load uploads, then the stupid question comes again (did you drop the phone). Then she hung up on me. Bell keep calling living voicemail, they will give me good plan, bla bla bla. Then one of their representatives called me next day to give me promotion, I’m trying to explain him what happened. He also hung up on me. Then he called me an hour later telling me, "Sorry didn’t have service, line cut off!"
I know customer service job is NOT EASY, they have to deal with everyone, but in same time they have to provide with help and trying to be nice when they see customer is not trying to be violent or abusive, just need representatives help solving problems and issues. I’m trying to connect with Customer Service to make a complain that didn’t happen (they put you in answering machine) never can talk with representative to solve my issues/problems!! The Worst of The Worst Customer Service Experience I had a week ago. Then I canceled completely!! Never with Bell Again Never!

The bell technician even rewired one of my circuits so I would have a phone jack in the living room of my apartment. After very poor quality service with Bell I cancelled my subscription and went with another provider at the end of January 2024. The new provider contacted Bell informing them that their services were no longer required. Bell kept contacting me asking me if I was certain that I wanted to cancel. Finally they accepted and cancelled phone, TV and Internet. I received a prepaid label from Bell to return their equipment. I packed their equipment carefully and took it to the Post Office. It was mailed by Expedited Mail and they received the parcel on the 5th of February with signature. WHY THEY DON'T WANT YOU TO RETURN THEIR EQUIPMENT TO A BELL STORE?
Now after paying my final bill, I keep receiving ebills for services and for equipment that had not been returned. Their last bill was for more than $1,000. And they are wondering why the company keeps losing clients? Their modem was ineffective sending the signal in my house but I could get the signal from my neighbor. I was told that my house had many walls! We are going to end up in front of a judge. I am including photos of their equipment that was returned and probably being used by another sucker.

Calling to cancel change anything is is waiting on a call to get transferred three times to someone else and given a sales pitch for stuff I don’t want. Then after finally canceling and returning the router I get charged $230 for the router I returned to the store. Horrid service! I have internet and TV with Bell. Called on Apr 05 to have Crave added to my package. Spent about 4-5 hours on the phone over the course of 2 days. Told them I wanted it, they signed me up, and I never had access to Crave. I kept calling back and was informed that it was all good on their end, maybe give it more time. This was after talking to multiple service people (Customer Service, Tech Support). Finally after hours of Bell not being able to provide me access to a Bell offer, I advised them that I no longer wanted Crave through Bell and would, instead, be getting Crave through Prime Video.
All during this interaction, the Bell employees checked and insured me that none of my bundle combo discounts would be affected by this addition of Crave. Bell does not appear to have any concern for the time the customer has to wait (hours) on the phone to have any task completed. Finally, Customer Loyalty Customer Service cancelled my Crave request one day after trying to sign up for it and never actually having access.
My next Bell bill came in and there was a Crave charge of $9.53 to cover my apparent subscription from Apr 05 to Apr 17. Also, 2 of my bundle discounts had been discontinued (one for $60.00 & one for $5.00). Called them and spent another 70 mins on the phone trying to have these discrepancies corrected. End result, a Case Representative will reach out to me because the Service Reps and the Loyalty Rep could not correct any of these issues. They recognized the issue but did not have the power in their roles to make the changes.
Now I'm sure I will have to spend another couple hours dealing with a Case Rep and see what they decide to do about it. Absolutely frustrating and poor results from a huge company that makes around $25 Billion a year and thinks they are the greatest. It floors me that this started by a customer requesting more service from them and they just could not figure out how to provide it!

I was a loyal patron of Bell for what seemed like an eternity. However, my patience finally ran out, leading me to terminate my services in November. Let me tell you, it was a saga of never-ending frustration. Firstly, let's talk about the bills. They were about as stable as a house of cards in a hurricane. Every month, without fail, they'd swing wildly without any coherent explanation. And if that wasn't bad enough, it meant I had to carve out precious time from my hectic schedule to engage in the infuriating ritual of contacting a representative who seemed to be operating in an alternate reality. Despite my repeated attempts, the issues persisted like a stubborn stain.
Fast forward to my decision to part ways with Bell. You'd think that would be the end of it, right? Wrong. I'm still haunted by bills from Bell, like some kind of ghostly reminder of the nightmare I endured. Oh, and let's not forget the delightful emails accusing me of keeping their equipment, despite having clear confirmation that I returned it.
In a desperate bid for resolution, I attempted to escalate my concerns to someone supposedly higher up, Hilda. Yet, to my dismay, it seems like she's as adept at ignoring problems as her underlings. My inquiries remain unanswered, my issues unresolved, all while I'm left to grapple with the aftermath of Bell's incompetence.
Save yourself the headache. Steer clear of Bell like it's the plague. Their customer service is a farce, their billing practices are a joke, and their overall attitude towards customers is nothing short of disgraceful. Don't make the same mistake I did. Choose a provider that values you as more than just a number on a balance sheet. Bell certainly isn't it.

I finally got a technician out. 5/10 - First Technician - I was not home and I had the property manager let him in the unit. He did leave me his number for any questions. When I noticed the ethernet boxes in my unit which are suppose to be available for both Bell and Rogers customers not working I called him back he tried to help, but said another tech will need to come out.
1/10- 2nd Technician - This dude was useless beyond belief... In the end he didn't try and get the box to work and gave me a "workaround" which was going to be added to my account but I was not told about this. It increased my bill by 10.00 a month. 2/10 - Bell Chat box - this shit never worked my space bar when typing in the chat box would stop working. I asked them to have someone call me and one week later I am still waiting for that call.
Overall - I would avoid Bell, I have since switched to Rogers. They tried upselling me once, and I told them I wasn't interested and they left it at that, the Bell agent told me to stop talking and let him continue his speech. The Rogers Tech told me that he needed to fix the ether net box, and is going to come back to make it work. The Bell tech didn't even look at the ethernet box, or try and fix it he gave me an more expensive workaround. I am not paying less for the EXACTLY SAME internet. Canceling was another painful experience and I had to give up my home phone that I’ve had for 25 years. I am really mad at the salesman and his manager who tricked me into switching a week and half of agony.

They shut phone down even if your bill hasn't reached the due date yet. They harass you with emails and texts if you are even 20 dollars in the arrears and that's after they send emails indicating you have till a certain date to pay but still shut you off 4 to 5 days prior the notice. They do not honor the contract at all and change things as they go and there is never a supervisor to talk to. Plus they raise your rates without notice. Bell Canada...scam artists.

I have been misled (lied to) twice, first from a Bell rep coming to my door promoting the newly Bell fiber that was installed in my area. Secondly from Bell mobility EPP rewards after requesting a plan change and better price. The first instance was for the Bell TV App for $10 for 450 channels and then with a Bell mobility plan with was a promised discount monthly but turned out to be a one time thing. Bell needs to stop this practice and be punished for their deceit.

Month after month same issue of overbilling and the customer service is saying will adjust the payment next month but nothing is done. Worst mobility company ever seen in my life. I will not buy any service from this Bell company. I got exhausted by calling the customer service month after month but no use. They say it will solved next billing cycle but it's not done. I don't know whom to call and what to do in this regards.

Very poor call center support. Excellent field technicians. He found fiber disconnected from BELL hub on another street. Phone support insisted for 2 hours to mail modem replacement and asked $75 house call repair. I told them repeatedly fiber error displayed and asked for supervisor. He found wrong serial number recorded, then finally booked field tech to our house for free. All ended well due to field tech, but phone support was a struggle.

Bell called me and offered some TV program. I rejected the offer. But few hour later, I received the email from Bell. The email said I ordered the TV program (Order # **), I rejected the offer but Bell just ordered it without my permission. Bell deceived their customer. I don't know how Bell do the business like this. I was really disappointed with Bell.

Bell Canada are known for having the worst service department in their respective business. I left Bell Canada 5 years ago due to a wire that was hanging across the road. Myself and neighbors living on the street contacted Bell to request an urgent service call. School buses run down this street and we had to tie a red cloth on the wire to alert vehicles. It took Bell Canada 4 days to fix it. I came back to Bell Canada to take advantage of their new Fibe Services. I placed an order 3 days ago for some products. I was told it would be delivered the next day. I waited around all day and it didn't come. I called and was told it would arrive the following day again. I waited around and again it didn't come. I called again and spoke with a manager who told me it would be 3-5 business days. I was obviously not happy.
I spoke about the improper training their agents have and that the issue for me was waiting around for 2 days in my house and the product not arriving as the 2 agents told me. She said there were no notes on file that the agents told me I would expect my products in a day or two. I said listen to the recordings that you say these conversations will be recorded for quality and training purposes. She said we can't listen to those. I said so you are set up to give customers wrong information and have no way to track and then see that your agent require better training as your recording states. I also said so the customer has no way to prove that their services are inadequate and the customer should be able to cancel their contracts early without penalty. Bell Canada is set up to fail their customers and give them no way out without penalties. Avoid them at all costs.

There is only one rep that knows her stuff inside out and that’s Jackie at Amherst Centre Mall! If she can’t meet your needs or fix your issues no one can! This woman goes above and beyond to help her customers out! I’ve been going to her for years now and she never disappoints! She’s so knowledgeable and friendly and has awesome skills in dealing with the public! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Trust me! She is a tech gem!!! Kurt **

We came to Australia for 40 days. We bought a monthly plan initially, but close to the 30 days in the country we received a reminder to extend the plan. We were unable to download the app or do it on line. So we came to the shop and the shop assistant suggested a $40 plan for unlimited calls and 2.5G of data. We purchased two vouchers $15 & $25 and activated them.
Two days later we received a message, that we have to top up our plan. Apparently, because we activated the new vouchers two days before billing circle, these two vouchers expired in two days. The assistant at the shop didn't know, that we have to activate after the billing circle. For example, we purchased first plan on the 17th of the month. But we topped it up on the 15th of the next month, our plan expired in two days! We paid $80 for two phones for the plan, which expired in two days! How does it work??? Called customer service and they explained me, that it's ok. I have to purchase another plan for the next billing cycle! Would never used Bell again and tell all my friends to look for an alternative.

We took advantage of the Bell Fibe offer about a year ago. They lure you with a dollar savings from your existing service and promise you a better service. The Installation of the connection was poorly done and the TV service is poor. It’s been one problem after another. Our complaints have been from week one, but Bell doesn’t seem to care. We’ll be calling one more time, then consider returning to our previous provider.

The review isn't for the agent. He's just the mouthpiece reading the script. But to have your equipment fail, and charge us to repair it is a masterful con. Good job pulling it off. Pay monthly for our service, but when our bad tech fails, pay for that also. Like getting a warranty on an appliance, calling out a tech when it breaks, and then being charged for the tech, even though you bought a warranty. Also a fantastic job on with the ageism. I'm an old man who knows next to nothing about technology. So when I don't understand enough to troubleshoot my own problem, I get the privilege of paying for help for a service that I already pay out the nose for. 0/10. Would not recommend

Tried to sign up and they suspended my phone plan without letting me know. I called back and they said they tried to reach me at my Bell number….that they had suspended. 2 more calls and a visit to the store later they still couldn’t activate it because they just kept forgetting to tell me what I needed to provide them to activate my account. There was never a supervisor available for me to speak to and agents were useless and couldn’t care less. Avoid Bell at all costs.
