Great insurance 4 years coverage. For 29.99$ when my luggage broke Asurion paid me out in full so I can buy new luggage. I’m extremely satisfied. I will continue to protect all my purchases with this great protection plan. The plans make sure you are fully protected once you receive your item you're all set. If you ever have a problem. Just file a claim.

Konstantin, the technician, arrived promptly on time. He knew exactly what we needed before arriving so it was a simple install for him. He worked quickly and had our tv up and running in no time. He also helped me secure the hardware behind the wall mount so wires etc. weren't hanging in sight. Trust Costco to offer quality service.

Quick and easy!! Have used service for a while and I would give anyone a recommendation for this. They tried to repair our laptop and wasn’t able to. They sent an Amazon gift card and refunded our purchase price. Ordered the same one and was up and running in a couple weeks.

Asurion LG appliance service appointment was great. Serviceman was speedy and helpful. He found the problem quickly and remedied the issue. The phone service while making the appointment was ok. The customer service rep was monotone and spoke over me and as a result, scheduled the wrong time but it ended up being ok. Thank you.

Okay, it bad enough when something goes wrong with an appliance or A/C unit or anything you purchased. When someone buys a warranty it's assumed that the item getting the warranty is important. We pay extra for the warranty. What I have seen in the past is warranties are not worth the paper they are written on. NOT-SO with ASURION warranty. They pulled out all the stops when I filed my claim and took care of me within a 30 min window and did so with a smile. I had zero issues. So yes I will buy again and so should you to protect your purchase.

My experience with Asurion was great. My Samsung stove was displaying an error code. This was preventing us from using the oven part of our Samsung stove / oven combo. The issue was solved in a timely matter. The technician, Angel was mindful in service. He was excellent in troubleshooting to find a solution to our problem. He remained calm and repaired our malfunction. We are grateful for his time and effort.

This coverage has paid for itself more than once. I live in Florida where we get much lightning and have had to make several claims. It was very easy to file the claim. You need to make sure you have access to a computer to pull up your order to get the correct info that is asked in the claim. They have options on how they will reimburse you if the product meets the return criteria.

They need to figure out a way to refund people without charging them! If I call the same day and want my money back, cancel my claim immediately. They are more than capable of developing a communication system that address this consumer need! Predatory! AND--I didn't even HAVE to use this option. I despise Verizon for pushing it on me!

I had a bread maker that I purchased from Amazon. It lasted just longer than the manufacturer's warranty, but I loved it, so I bought another with the Asurion warranty. The warranty is for 4 years, and 4 days shy of it's 4th anniversary, my second bread maker died. I looked up my Amazon orders, clicked for more info on that one, and up popped "use your premium protection plan". So I did. I spent less time filling out the claim than it is taking to write this review. When I submitted it, I had an instant positive response. You can't get better than that!

Getting this was the best thing I could do to protect my investment, after my pool robot stopped working, they stepped in to make things right. I was able to log into the website to find my order they had stored in the system. Once I clicked my item, I was able to start the claim process. It took only a few minutes to submit. I heard something back within a few minutes after I submitted my claim.

I paid $169.99 for the vacuum and another $25.99 for a 3 year protection and I just got this from Asurion after filing the claim: Asurion: We're reimbursing you $62.99 for your product. Unacceptable. Please reimburse the entire product price so I can buy a new one. I also cannot find a way to contest this reimbursement amount.

I had an outstanding experience with Asurion's customer service regarding my grandson's 24V UTV Electric Car with Dump Bed. Unfortunately, the car stopped working after a short time—despite the power being on, it wouldn’t move, and the wheels even began smoking. When I reached out to Asurion for assistance, they informed me that the product was still under an active manufacturer's warranty until March 2027. Unfortunately, my attempts to contact the manufacturer were unsuccessful due to failed emails. Recognizing this, Asurion stepped in and processed a full refund for me, even with the warranty still valid. This level of support truly exceeded my expectations!
I cannot stress enough the importance of investing in protection plans like Asurion's for toy cars, especially since many can break easily. Some manufacturers aren't reliable, and I've noticed that companies sometimes change their names or brands without warning, leaving customers stranded. Asurion, is the best technology insurance I have ever had. No need to find a 3 to 5-year-old receipt to file a claim. My TV display went out, and all I had to do was give a description of what happened, take some pictures, and done. I was able to complete everything using my cell phone. The next day, I was given the option of picking from three suitable replacements.

I have used Asurion several times. Each time I had a very good experience. Especially when interacting with agents. They are always courteous and professional. I highly recommend. The only negative, which, as I understand it, was due to my vendor (ATT) available replacement selections. While I ended up getting a replacement that, for the most part, I was satisfied with, I would have preferred the same color (black), to my original Apple Watch. I also was not satisfied that I was repeatedly offered an SE Apple Watch, which was not comparable to a regular Apple Watch. Overall, I’ve had very good experiences with this process.

We have had the Nimo laptop for about seven months. My son dropped our laptop yesterday but we purchased a protection plan with Asurion. I found the claim form on Amazon, and it was very easy to submit a claim. I have already received a text from Asurion of when to expect packaging to return the laptop.

I am so glad I have this extra layer of protection for my electronics. My desktop just went out, and after my deductible I just take it to the neighborhood UbreakIfix and they’ll handle the rest! My son had dropped his tablet in water. Customer service reached out and let me know that since I had a warranty, I could get a replacement tablet, free of charge. I have been trying for 2 days to sign in to my account so that I could choose a replacement TV but it wouldn’t sign in because they couldn’t verify my cell number to make sure it was me and my email wasn’t working either. I almost gave up I was so frustrated that u couldn’t not talk to a live person. But I put my big girl pants on and told myself try googling a customer service number for complaints about my situation. Google gave me a different number than what I was using. Called left message and to my absolute delight with in the hour Zach called me back. I was shocked. He took care of me. He was great. Fast, friendly and efficient. I've had coverage through Asurion for 6 or 7 years. They have always taken care of me, sometimes faster than I can keep up with. I have policies that cover our phones and home devices that have paid for themselves several times over. I'm well acquainted with Murphy's Law, so, I'll keep my coverage as long as they'll have me.

Portable air conditioner stopped working. If you can afford to, warranties covering items from Asurion have been top notch for me. Very pleased with the company. Nice to have the protection just in case you need it. Especially on the big ticket items. Thankfully it's not always needed, but still nice to have for peace of mind.

The process to start a claim was soooo simple. Both reps were so helpful. It took all of 5 minutes. Purchasing the home device protection plan was the best decision ever!!!! I have TVs, the kids have iPads and a PlayStation, computers, etc. and with they break stuff or it just stops working after a while. So this plan covers it all. Saves me so much money.

I recently had to return my Laptop Screen Extender (15.6-inch IPS FHD, Portable, 17.3-inch Compatible, Triple Display, Multi-OS Support) after one of the screens cracked—thanks to my dog knocking it over. I had been struggling without it for several days before I remembered I had an Asurion protection plan. Once I filed the claim, everything moved fast. UPS arrived at my door with the shipping label, and as soon as the item was returned, an Amazon gift card was instantly issued to my account. I was able to repurchase the item right away and received the new one the very next morning. The Asurion agent I spoke with was compassionate, helpful, and genuinely understanding. I went from stressed and struggling to completely made whole—all within 48 hours. Highly recommend Asurion. They absolutely delivered!

I pay monthly for Asurion Home protection. My Apple Watch stopped working. After testing it out over the phone, I was told to send it via UPS who would pack it up for me. I dropped it off on Saturday and it was received and approved on Monday! The process was fairly quick and easy. I hope I receive my replacement watch as quickly.

I purchased a Bissell spot cleaner along with a 3-year extended warranty with Asurion and boy, am I ever glad that I did! Of course, 1 month after the 1 year manufacturer's warranty expired the spotbot started to send the cleaning fluid through the motor and the hose cracked. Calling Asurion was amazingly easy. The customer service rep was so friendly and kind and he walked me through the process step by step. At the end of it I was issued a cheque so that I could replace my cleaner (because it WAS working great until it didn't) and I received the payout within the week. Thank you Asurion! Your product and extended warranty options are bar-none and I highly recommend purchasing this with any electronics off of Amazon.

I purchased a window air conditioner from BJ's with a one year manufacturer warranty. It lasted only 14 months. I repurchased the same item but this time I purchased an extended warranty from Asurion for three years. This unit lasted just over three years. The three year warranty was in addition to the one year manufacturer warranty. I called Asurion's customer support and they asked me a few questions and told me they would send me a check for the original purchase price. I received the check promptly and purchased a new unit from BJ's and added the extended warranty from Asurion. They honor the first warranty and I confident they will honor this one if necessary!

My dryer broke after 4.5 years. Luckily I did the 5 year warranty. I was able to file my claim easily and was refunded very quickly so I could purchase a new dryer. My refund was sent directly to my bank account. Making a claim online was easy and their communication was fast.

My only complaint was that I had to file claim for my computer on my phone and I could not tell if I had completed everything before I was asked to complete survey and couldn’t clear my screen. I’m extremely disappointed with Asurion’s handling of my warranty claim and insurance coverage issue. After filing a claim for my wife’s phone, we received two replacements—both of which failed. The first device stopped working shortly after we received it. The second phone later malfunctioned due to an internal issue that should have been covered under Asurion’s one-year warranty for replacement devices.
However, Asurion denied the claim without ever physically inspecting the device. We obtained a professional diagnostic report from uBreakiFix confirming the issue was internal, not accidental damage, and clearly covered by the warranty. Asurion closed a BBB complaint before we could add the report and the BBB would not re-open or start a new claim even with the new information. Asurion also did not seem interested in this report after we escalated our concerns to their executive office.
To make matters worse, we discovered that our device insurance was canceled in error by the mobile phone provider when we intended only to cancel an unrelated home insurance plan. Asurion used this as another excuse to deny the warranty claim, even though the device failed while still under the one-year warranty that comes with their replacement phones. The malfunction occurred during the warranty period and should have been covered regardless of the insurance status. When we asked Asurion to help coordinate with the mobile phone provider to correct the mistake, they flatly refused.
We also attempted to resolve the issue through the Better Business Bureau for over two months. Unfortunately, Asurion was not responsive and closed the complaint after not looking into any of our concerns and was uncompromising in trying to come to a resolution. These actions also prevented us from submitting the report showing the phone did not work for an issue covered by the warranty.
We escalated the issue to Asurion’s Executive Office and eventually received a call back. The representative told us the leadership team had already rejected the claim but said he would do further research and follow up by Monday. That follow-up never came, and as of now, no one has reached out to us again.
In the end, we were forced to pay over $650 out of pocket to replace a phone that should have been covered by a warranty and an insurance policy we had been paying into for months. In addition to the cost of the new phone, we lost at least $200 on insurance premiums if not more (unsure when our provider incorrectly dropped our plan), plus a $100 deductible paid for the first replacement device that by our research only had a $100 value and which turned out to be faulty. Altogether, we spent nearly $1,000 due to Asurion's and our mobile provider’s mishandling of our claim and refusal to honor the warranty. Ironically, it would have been more cost-effective to never enroll in Asurion's protection plan and simply use the money saved to replace the device ourselves from the start. This experience shows a complete lack of accountability, transparency, and customer support. I would not recommend Asurion based on this experience.

When phone screen was initially cracked, we had insurance via our carrier/Asurion and they replaced the screen and issued a 1-year warranty for the new screen. The screen died in less than a year. My phone company called Asurion, and they denied our claim without even looking at the phone, claiming we somehow caused the damage. (We didn't, phone worked great, then the screen went out all of a sudden.) Don't bother getting a warranty via this company and they don't stand by their products.

The service reps were very thorough, expedient, professional and especially courteous. I can't think of any improvements that I could consider suggesting. I plan on letting friends and family know about the plan and of my experience and satisfaction with the plan. I wish money-wise, they give more for the item than it worth that they are giving the headphones I have. I paid over 200 dollars but they are only pay half. I'm not very happy about this and I'm paying an extra 10 dollars a month and I only do a claim once every blue moon, feel like this is overrated.

Initially there was confusion that warranty will not be approved. But later on, when someone from Asurion emailed me to send the warranty receipts and then I sent the extended warranty receipt. They asked me to send back the laptop again. So I sent the laptop and it was repaired in a week or two. The laptop is working fine now.

We buy extended warranty services very frequently. Some of the time it's to our advantage, other times we don't have to make any claims. Either way, we find that it's always money well spent. This claim went exactly how we expected it to go. This warranty in particular was for a pair of bluetooth headphones. I've been using the headset for about two years and they stopped transmitting voice. A quick phone call and I received a full refund for the purchase price and was able to replace the headset. Military Exchange purchased $500 Sony digital camera flip-up preview screen on the back was damaged by accidental dropping. Asurion warranty covered all shipping and repairs. The repair and additional cleaning of the camera returned it in almost new condition. Asurion kept me updated by email on the status. Well worth the insurance in this case. Service was exceptional.

Hisense 65 inch TV freezes or doesn't even come on, Ten minutes online I had a replacement on the way. and the replacement actually is an upgrade! I filed a claim to replace a lost phone. The phone was found about an hour later and I called to cancel the claim. Of course, it was too late. I was told that I could refuse the phone when it arrived and after it returned to them, they would process my refund for the deductible of $229. I followed these directions and after waiting 12 days, the refund was never issued. I called and was told that the claim had never been canceled (despite calling 4 times) and that a refund could be issued by check which would take about 6 weeks to arrive.
I was transferred to Karen, the "CEO", who was able by some miracle to process my credit card refund, and I should expect it within another 3-5 days. As she was hanging up, she said call her in 5 days if my refund doesn't process. Not very encouraging. How can it take seconds to take the money and weeks to get it back? I'm going to roll the dice and go without insurance as I won't pay Asurion any more money to waste my time. I would advise you to do the same. The frustration is not worth the refurbished phone they will send you when you need a replacement.

It works best when working indoors. I gave 4 stars not 5 because the product does have a slight warmth in the back of neck sometimes. They do have a solution. Worth the price when physically working indoors all year round. I can immediately alter the device from cool to heat (it literally takes 30 seconds to adjust) when stepping outside in the winter. I would recommend buying the additional 3 year warranty only because I got no hassle when making a claim to the battery failure after using it very often for 2 years.

I had a SAMSUNG 98" Class Neo QLED 4K QN90D replaced by a measly LG - 98” Class UT90 Series LED 4K UHD. There is over a $10,000 difference in TVs. I expected better from this insurance company, especially when dealing with expensive things! That’s why we have insurance! As much dynamic the LG has, certain things are incomparable. My experience with Asurion has been a complete nightmare. I filed a claim and paid the 99 dollar deductible. They approved the claim and it was to be delivered by a representative to even help set the new phone up. I received an email saying the rep was on his way and even provided me with tracing information. He was supposed to arrive at 8:17 but later it refreshed and it was 8:23, then eventually it was cancelled. I called the company and they said they would send me one the following day, but I had to pay the 99 dollars deductible. They said they didn't receive it. I looked on my account and it was taken out. Asurion is a complete scam and I recommend nobody use this insurance company.

Overall, service was good. Person handling my call was courteous and patient. Claim was for a printer that failed to work. Response from Asurion said to send the printer using the prepaid UPS shipping label, that will be sent to my email. Since my printer does not work, I cannot print the label. I hope I can forward the email to a friend and have him print it for me. Also, I hope there will be some options regarding method of reimbursement.

Our washer had an issue with the water intake; it was not shutting down, causing the washer to overflow. I called Asurion, and they scheduled a repair visit for the next day. Don, the tech, came out and diagnosed the problem and ordered the replacement part. He came back two days later and replaced the faulty water intake. Don was polite, efficient, and an overall pleasant person to deal with. Also, Asurion picked up the whole tab, I didn't have to pay anything!

The LG tv you are replacing was purchased for $1200.00, the replacement tv has a value of <$500.00. What we were when we started the Asurion insurance was that we would receive a tv equal to or better than our existing LG tv. I don't feel is what we are getting.

I do not blame Asurion for my not receiving my gift card for $249.99. I blame the Staples' clerk for not properly carrying out his word to ship my dysfunctional printer to Asurion that day and then not seeing the next clerk had the correct orders of what was to be done. I think that everybody should buy this protection plan when you buy any product needs to use at least a few years, definitely for more years of use. Recently had my screen repaired. Had been working fine until today the screen started suddenly flickering. No cracks anywhere on the phone and no exposure to liquid. However, the phone has recently started feeling hot to touch even when not in use. I called to explain issue and see what steps I could take. Before I could speak to anyone I was offered a home plan and declined. I was transferred to an area where I was directed to input an ext. Not knowing the ext the call was disconnected. Called back and explained the situation all over and my recent experience.
Rep said she’d help to come back and state there is a system hold for 8-24 hours. So now it’s no way for the hold to be escalated, no alternate options for repair/replacement, and I am unable to utilize my phone until I receive an email as I cannot utilize the screen in any way. Should it have been just the 8hrs I wouldn’t be so livid but I ask to speak to someone in leadership to possibly escalate my issue. A resolution specialist proceeds to advise that that information was incorrect and it is a full 24 hour hold. I explain I have children currently in school with medical conditions (I could provide supporting documentation) so this is a major inconvenience and potentially life threatening. I was told “well all you can do is wait”.
AT&T it’s time to do better by your customers and find an alternate company to assist with these issues. Having a company like Asurion that you have to call 5 times before you can speak to someone, to be disconnected because you aren’t interested in what they are selling, and be without a device for an entire day in the world we live in today is pure ludicrous.

I bought my son a nice (pricey) gaming chair for Christmas 2022. I had the store put it together. I also paid for the 3 year warranty. The chair broke this past week (2.5 years later) and my son was upset as he uses every day. I logged a claim online Saturday using the warranty details. They had me send pictures of the chair including damage. On Sunday they sent a gift card for a full refund of the chair. We were able to purchase a new chair the next day. This is the first time I’ve used the plan. The process was relatively easy and over all pretty painless. For anyone looking for a good coverage, this is worth looking into. This claim was for the replacement of a 60” wall mounted TV. The only issue I have is that taking the existing TV down and hanging the new TV was a real pain by myself.

The plan was sooooo worth it! I had chair that snapped off the rolling base. I opened the browser and uploaded the images. When they didn't show enough information, they asked for a few more. Once I was able to be connected to a live tech the problem was resolved fairly quickly. My tech was Joel and he was extremely patient with me. Lenovo computer stopped working. Lenovo tech told me to go through Asurion warranty. Still under Mfg. warranty. I was explained by Asurion I was still to use my mfg. warranty. I received my laptop back fast, but the power cords were not in the package. I can not use my laptop without them. I have called several tines and I still have not received my power cords. The repair if it was done was received very fast, I can not tell if it was repaired without the power cords.

Updated on 05/16/2025: Asurion came through with a favorable response. Instead of replacing the bad Apple watch, they issued a reimbursement. The amount of reimbursement was not 100%, but it was large enough for us to feel satisfied. This reimbursement will be helpful towards the cost of a new replacement watch. There was one small and vexing problem. Most of several times that I attempted to follow-up up on the claim on Asurion's website, the website would not respond. I don't have this problem anywhere else. I advised this to Asurion so that they might investigate if this might be a system issue.
Original review: Asurion is excellent. I filed a claim regarding my wife's Apple Watch having two forms of failure problems that began recently and became progressively worse. Asurion processed the claim instantly and is replacing the watch. I've very pleased to have this warranty (it has a monthly fee). There is an additional fee for this incident, but it is a fair and reasonable amount.

The process is very easy. What was difficult was finding the serial number and model number of my TV 'cause it was wall mounted and very big. I could not get it down myself so I had to slide my phone behind it. I love the new home protection plan that Asurion and AT&T has now. I wish I'd had it last year when three hurricanes came over the top of me.

The phone app made it simple to file a claim. I had a line of dead pixels in my LG OLED Tv that was beyond distracting and would’ve been very costly to repair through LG service channels. This replacement warranty saved me money and a headache. I highly recommend this service that was available to me through my Verizon wireless service. Asurion is doing an excellent job—the claim process is simple and straightforward, which I really appreciate. It would be even more convenient if there were an option to file claims for insured products directly through Amazon. Honestly, if I didn’t have Asurion, I would’ve had to toss out quite a few electronic items I’ve purchased from Amazon. But with Asurion coverage, I feel completely worry-free when buying electronics. I always try basic troubleshooting first without opening the item, and if that doesn’t resolve the issue, I just file a claim and I’m good to go.
