    This is company will be your worst nightmare when it comes to customer service. When they make mistakes and create issues for you they will not compensate, remember or record anything they do. When you call back in, they just act like nothing happened and start acting like robots repeating themselves. Stay away and get your money back if you can. They are the worst company to deal with. Especially Albert.

    I had a cracked screen I needed repaired. I made an appt and the tech did not show. I called and they rescheduled me and the tech did not show for the second time. Same thing a third time. Every time I spoke with someone on the phone they were so nice and so helpful in answering all my questions and helping me get rescheduled.     Back in September, a Verizon Wireless rep convinced me to purchase their protection plan for my home, called Verizon Home Protect with coverage being serviced through Asurion. For $25 per month, all of my home devices and electronics would be covered for repair or replacement, including TVs, desktops, laptops, home office equipment, tablets, Nest, Ring, everything.

    In December, my office printer wouldn't print color copies properly. I tried to align the print heads, and whatever else I could think of. I called Asurion and they told me to go online and put a claim through, which I did. They walked me through troubleshooting and said it would need to be sent in for repairs once I paid my $100 deductible. I was given three choices: pack it up and schedule a pick up, pack it up and bring it to UPS, or bring it to UPS and have them pack it and ship it. I opted to bring it there on December 20, 2021, and have have UPS pack it and ship it to ensure it was packed properly and received in good condition.

    I received multiple text messages over the next two weeks repeating, "We have received your device and will process your repair within 5-10 business days". I received two more of these texts within an hour of each other, followed by an email that my device repair was complete and the printer was in its way back to me.

    I called to find out what was broken, and what was fixed and the rep apologized for me not having received the repair order prior to it being fixed. She escalated it and said someone would reach out to me within 24hrs. Three days later, I received the delivery of my printer, but never heard from anyone. It arrived in two boxes. As I began to open the first box, I thought I heard a faint rattling and quickly grabbed my camera. I videoed the opening of my printer to find it completely cracked, scratched and covered in stress marks where someone had obviously tried to get the base off and couldn't so the plastic had stretched. I stopped opening and immediately called Verizon.

    The rep had me finish opening the contents while on the phone, camera going. The paperwork said that the print head was replaced. The damage I found was INSIDE the shrink wrap used to package it prior to shipping which could not have happened during shipment. Someone broke this printer, didn't say anything, then packed back up like that and sent it to me. Mind you, this was a like-new, very large HP OfficeJet 8630 with two trays, Automatic feeder, fax, scanner, printer, copier I purchased for my office for approx $500, and it was in pristine condition, other than having a color print issue. Initially, they refunded my $100 deductible for not having fixed the printer when they said they did. When I hooked it up, the machine printed exactly as it had prior to my sending it for repair with the same color print issues, but now it made a horrible crunching noise prior to the feeder grabbing the paper to print. Printer destroyed.

    I have gone back and forth between Asurion who won't help me, and Verizon who says they'll help and then doesn't follow up with scheduled return calls. They have agreed that broke the printer and said they'd fix it. I refused, asking if they planned on duct taping it or gluing it, because they owned the fact that the printer had been DROPPED. It was cracked and broken. After waiting another two weeks for a refund, I kept calling and finally someone told me that the refund doesn't get processed until I ship the printer back again which one of the previous four reps told me I needed to do!! I had to repack the 40-lb printer and take it back to UPS.

    It is now Feb 18, 2022 and until a few days ago, was still calling every few days to follow up. I got an email saying my printer was beyond repair and they had no replacements to offer me, so they were giving me a buyout for $160!! I responded back explaining I could never replace the printer with that amount of money and that I had been driving 18 miles round trip everyday since before Christmas and paying UPS for all of my printing needs because THEY BROKE MY PRINTER. I was out $60 in just printing fees.

    It took three months and I finally agreed to $256 in buyout because I was able to locate a like-quality printer with the same features mine had. I do not recommend their services and should you decide to use them anyway, be sure to video the packing and unpacking of your equipment because had I not done that, they would have denied any wrongdoing on their part. Buyer beware.

    This is a great service. The only thing I would say is that the cost to trade your device in is too high. What you should do instead of charging 250 to get sent a device to trade and 15 bucks to fix mine is send back the money except the what you would charge to fix the phone once you get the phone from the customer. You're not losing anything if they do send in the phone. If they don't send in the phone then keep the money.

    The phone function grades but they’re a little bit of complicating factors that make me dissatisfied with the performance at this phone. Sometimes when I close apps that display glitches out.     The replacement device process was fine, the device arrived no problem but I ended up not needing it so I returned it the day after I received and I have still not been reimbursed my payment. I'm not sure why it takes so long but that is a very unpleasant customer experience. I've never had to wait 2 months for a refund before and it makes me question whether this service is worth it. Not to mention the cost of the replacement has doubled in the last year and the monthly payment has also increased.

    I have always had great service with the insurance through Verizon Wireless. The only complaint(s) I have here is that I was told repeatedly by Verizon that my new phone would arrive in 3 to 5 business days and it was a little over 2 weeks. Also, Verizon told me it would be arriving by U. S. Mail and when I called your customer service they told me it would be delivered by FedEx, which it was. One other thing, that phone that was replaced, fell apart in my hand through no fault of my own as I am very protective of my phones, yet I was forced to pay an additional $19.00 as the phone was damaged. I feel it is unfair to pay for insurance when sold a piece of crap, and then have to pay additional to get the phone replaced....I thought that is what the insurance is for. I believe in this instance it was just to make a little more money for your company....Poor customer service.

    I would like to share my recent few experiences with Asurion. They have been horrible and customer service has gone downhill and I have had them for over 20 years. I had opened a phone claim back in Oct of 21 and I had received two phones and didn't work. I called multiple time a week and finally a supervisor said to me, "Send them back and will give you a check for your old phone." I was like ok, and she also said for the inconvenience that when this was all over and closed, I could get my deductible back for all my issues. I finally got my check late Nov. 21 and ordered a new phone and got it in Dec. 21.

    I called back to ask about the deductible, and they said they had to still check in my old device to issue the refund, finally we are in Feb. 22 and it's all over and done with everything being checked in and good. I called to get my refund and they said they couldn't do it. I said why? They said because it's in their rules and I said, "That not what I was told, listen to the calls," and they said basically it didn't matter if the supervisor messed up, they wouldn't honor it. I said, "Well can't you listen to the call, you can see it in the notes," and they said nothing can be done. HORRIBLE SERVICE!! Also, don't buy the HomeTech protection. I did a claim back in late Nov on my airpods and it was approved right away. I just got my check February 9th. The service is a waste of 25 a month and the customer service is the worst!!! No one wants to help you, they just want to give you the runaround.

    Last time I submitted a claim with Asurion were fantastic. The 800 number was answered promptly and got handset delivered next day. This time, the online claim told me to call the 800 number to finish the claim, this time the 800 number was not answered for 15 minutes, then I was transferred to Verizon and the Asurion customer rep stayed with me the whole time it took to talk to Verizon, which is another story. Finally Verizon gave the OK and my phone was replaced. Keep in mind that this handset was under warranty by Asurion not by Verizon. Asurion replaced my old phone S10+ for this one an S21+ because they didn't have the S10+ to exchange. This claim was made within the 12 month warranty period for my S21+.

However, after spending many days and tons of hours trying to get my data transferred, they couldn't get it all to transfer. Not only that I couldn't answer calls. They could not fix this. I went to the Verizon store and the associate was very helpful and friendly and took care of all of my issues. Then I returned 2 phones to Asurion and they wanted to charge me $75.00 for holding the phones because they couldn't fix them.     Working with Asurion on my last two (2) claims for our small business has been very difficult. My first claim was for a lost/stolen phone. After two or three weeks of receiving emails telling me I should have a replacement phone soon, I was informed by a manager (after over a half hour on hold) that they could not replace my phone. After a few more calls and some internal anger, I was given a refund for the phone.

    My next claim seemed to be going well, until it wasn't. We received a replacement phone that did not work. My employee was about 4 hours away on a project but I was told that I could not get a replacement for the replacement until I had the phone physically in my hand (which was not possible). After having to talk to 4 different people and three different phone calls, I received a new (used) phone. The latest phone doesn't even work particularly well.

    Reported the claim the day after. Got the runaround and ended up having to call them 5 times before receiving a replacement. After a month of not receiving a call, I called for the 5th and final time and got a replacement which wasn't what I really wanted. I had a crack in my screen and asked for a repair initially. Each time that I called, I had to listen to an advertisement about additional protection. Being the polite person I am, I humored them five (long) times. If you can't replace my phone in a timely manner, what makes you think I'd buy extra protection?

    I have been a customer since the beginning and have never been treated so poorly. I was without a phone for 5 days. My phone is part of my business so I missed out on valuable business transactions for 5 days because this business does not offer loaner phones. How ridiculous. What is the point in having insurance if there is no backup until a replacement can be given? Why can't the local stores handle the replacement? Not only did I lose valuable business, but all of my pics/contacts/and notes did not transfer over. I might as well have gone and started a new contract with another carrier.
