    A slightly cracked screen on my MacBook Pro is still unrepaired after more than four months, despite more than SEVENTY-FIVE HOURS spent on the phone and any number of promises and excuses from Asurion. I'm disgusted and have filed a Better Business Bureau complaint. The story is too long to recount here, but I am now being told that my computer is "unrepairable," even though Ubreakifix protocols were not followed and a tech with minimal qualification was the only person who had worked on it.

    It had a tiny crack along the edge of the screen but still worked perfectly until I trusted Ubreakifix to replace the screen and, now, it appears to have been damaged beyond repair. I have been forced to purchase a replacement computer in the interim ($350) and lost $100 as a result of not being able to attend a pre-paid Zoom class, in addition to the $96 Asurion charge, much less six months of payments. Representatives from both companies were nearly all polite and seemed sincerely interested in helping me, but NOBODY HAS! These months have been the most frustrating I have ever experienced in dealing with ANY business in all of my 70 plus years!

    With the exception of dealing with you break I fix in Naples Florida which was the worst experience I’ve ever had. They were terrible. They were rude.     We went into the AT&T on I-40 W to set up the first replacement phone which was unsuccessful because the Rep Brandon and the Manager said we had been sent a 3G and was in need of a 5G.     I've read the reviews here and decided to go for it anyways.. 'Only a cracked screen replacement' I thought. What can go wrong, right? I take it to the Ubreakifix store (owned by Asurion). Device was fixed. I get a message to come pick it up. I go and the store is closed. I go again the next day - store closed. No note, no nothing. No one answers the calls - including the reg. manager whose number was on a 'if you have any problems call me directly' type of signs. What a great personal example. It turns out the store was closed because of COVID.

    4.5 hours on the phone with Verizon tech who looped in an Asurion representative who couldn't help but transfer us between different departments.. Escalation to Asurion corp office manager to approve a replacement device and saving me from waiting 10 days for the device. I finally get a replacement device - which had network issues. The phone was useless other than for text or call. I call Verizon tech - they were unsuccessful in troubleshooting this.

    I call Asurion: "We'll send you a replacement. But I need your credit card for the device you're sending back". So now I need to send back 2 devices (which I never asked for), and if they get lost or break on the way (because Asurion doesn't use padded envelopes for returns) I may, as others wrote, get charged $175 per device. And that's how I spent 10 days, lots of stress and aggravation, and potentially $350 to replace one cracked screen of an old iPhone X. STAY AWAY.

    AT&T has always done me right. I have six fans on their account and they have been great, their billing air packages and their promotions. I wouldn’t have my accounts with anyone else!     My phone had cracked screen and I had phone insurance. I was able to call Asurion and let them know what's going on with my phone and they put a replacement phone in the mail the next day. I had the new phone within 5 days. I even called the 800 number that was on a postcard with the phone and they help me set it up with no problems. I would definitely recommend Asurion.

    If I could rate you a sub -50 I would. Your staff is not knowledgeable enough to answer that phones. Your policies are unacceptable, and allow for no situations out of the norm. Your tech Coaches do not listen to a customer, me, that is pretty advanced with his technology. You do not follow through before sending nerve-wracking notices about being charged on a returned phone that was not even the correct replacement phone! You are about as useful as tits on a bull and Verizon made the biggest mistake in joining forces or outsourcing their tech coach to you. If I'm going to have this much trouble with a phoke6, why the hell did get the House full Protection on my other devices. You're illustrating an incompetency and you just took over.     Sim Card does not work. Technical assistance tried to help. But was unable to resolve the problem. I was advised to go into an AT&T store. I am currently using my old phone. Claim process was great. Received new phone in two days.
