    Getting my replacement cell phone was easy and no issue. Only issue I have is the price I had to pay for the phone. I pay each much for the insurance. I shouldn’t have to pay additional $200 to get a replacement phone which I’m sure wasn’t new.

    After hours trying to navigate the system and talk to a human, I was finally able to speak with a human (sort of, lol). This less than sympathetic employee straight out lied to me. I had scheduled a repair for my phone and a repair person was supposed to come to my home for the repair. Asurion actually encourages this rather than going to the repair place. 2 days in a row, no one called, and no one showed. This representative kept me on the phone for hours and lied telling me that she would have a new phone sent to me for only $29. I reconfirmed that statement with my husband also listening to this promise while on speaker phone. I didn't trust this so asked for a supervisor. After another 30 minutes, I finally go Maria id #** who was less than courteous and dismissive until I asked for her ID. She dismissed my complaint saying it was a misunderstanding. It was a lie, not a misunderstanding!

    So now here I wait, again for this mysterious repair person. No name, no ID, no name of company. This is not only ridiculously unfair, it is down right scary. I have no way of reporting any of this. The company has horrible business practices and zero credibility. If you notice, all of the positive reviews online are from more than 5 years ago. It may have been a good company then, but not now. :-(

    This insurance on my phone was a complete waste. The money I paid out of pocket every month for insurance combined with the deductible when I filed a claim cost more than if I would have just purchased another phone outright. I would be fine with that if I was able to file an insurance claim and immediately receive a phone in return, however, it takes several days to file a claim and receive a replacement phone. Because I pay the insurance on my Verizon account, I thought I would be able to take my broken phone into a Verizon store and they would replace it right there, however that is far from the case.

    Verizon issues their insurance through Asurion which is a third-party vendor so if you want to make a claim on your phone insurance to get an a a new phone, you have to go through Asurion and mail in your device, you cannot walk into a Verizon store and exchange your device for a new one. So basically if you are depending on insurance to replace your phone when it stops working, you're screwed for 3-5 days until the new phone is mailed to you. Horrible, terrible, awful, bad, horrendous financial decision to pay $$ every month for phone insurance. Do not recommend. This is a waste of money.

I had to pay a good amount to get a replacement IPhone 13 Mini because I got caught in a torrential rain and, even though the phone is advertised to be somewhat water resistant, it failed to operate. Asurion did cover the greater share of the replacement cost. I will now contact Asurion again because the replacement phone goes completely dead at times during a call. During the dead period it will not allow all texting, receive voicemail, etc. I have to power off for a few minutes before it allows marginal use. I am not certain but am believe the replacement phone is a refurbished phone but was not fully refurbished.

    Claim for malfunctioning phone. My phone was a Galaxy2 Z Fold with some slight damage. I was 11 month old and still under warranty with Verizon.     I replaced my son's tablet and when I was sent the replacement device I was also sent an envelope to send back the damaged tablet, so I did the very next day. Then a few days later I received in the mail a letter from Asurion stating that if I didn’t send back the damaged device they were going to charge me the non return fee, I called right away to let them know that I had been tracking the return and I had proof that it had been delivered days before the date on that letter.

    The customer service representative said she was going to check, put me on hold and when she got back to me said that yes it showed on their system that they had received the damage device I sent and to disregard the letter so I did. Then again a few days later I WAS charged the non return fee. I called again, told them the same thing that I had returned the device and that I had already called so that this exact thing didn’t happen. She checked again and again, confirmed for the second time that they had in fact received the damaged device, now I have to wait 7-10 business days to get my refund!!!!

    First 2 times I used your service it was awesome. The 3rd time also for a cracked screen, they never showed and cancelled both times as no tech was close. I let your company talk me into replacing it. 1st replacement the speaker didn't work. A 2nd one was sent which the battery last less than a day and while I'm on it, it will flicker and then go backs to main screen. I would request another replacement, but I feel the others will also have issues. I keep your service to use it as a last resort.     Customer service was amazing. I was trying to just get a screen replacement. Sent it in, I had no way I could reset my phone or unlock the screen. The screen was completely toast. They sent it back to me not fixed. Finally I just got a replacement phone. This phone is definitely not new and it does not perform the same as my old phone. Wifi calling doesn't work at all, half the time wifi doesn't work. I didn't think I was paying the premium for full coverage on my phone to just get a refurbished used cell phone. That's what really made me not happy 15 to 20 a month plus pay $260 for a "new phone" the insurance is more of a way to scam people.
