I made a claim for a replacement phone through Asurion. I made my claim on Wednesday and my replacement phone arrived on Friday. I’m completely satisfied with the great service that I received. I would recommend their services for the great customer service and getting me back on track with another phone. Thank You.

Fast and super easy to file. Just wish deductibles were lower. On some phones that we have are really old still have a 129.00 deductible? They should look at these with the prices of these older phones because the deductibles do not match up! I've been a customer for a while and they still haven't decreased which is frustrating!

I had JUST bought a refurbished phone from Back Market, as in maybe had it for two months, and of course, ended up dropping it (I had a screen protector and case.) So, subsequently only half of the screen ended up working. I filed a claim with Asurion stating this and they sent a check in the mail because I guess they couldn't fix the screen or replace the phone (it was an iPhone 7 plus?). The kicker is that you cannot get a new phone using the same plan with the check they give you. So I'm out $65 for an entire year plan for nothing! $65 may not seem like a lot to a lot of people but it's a huge deal for me, I was trying to at least be safe and insure my phone but now if I buy a new phone, I'll be out $130. They also state this but they charge $40 to file a claim, I assumed that was for fixing it or replacement of the phone, not if they couldn't do anything for it. All in all, just be wary.

My phone was broken in a car accident. I filed my insurance claim with Asurion, and the process was easy enough. I almost immediately dropped my phone at the UBreakIFix location that I was instructed to bring it to. The employees told me they needed to order a part, and that it may take up to a week. Two weeks later and the part still hadn't arrived. I was told it was at a UPS location in a nearby suburb and that it should arrive either that night or the next day. The next week, it still hadn't arrived. Eventually, the part had to be reordered, and after 4 weeks, it arrived. I was told that my phone was fixed... But they couldn't give it to me. They said that a mistake had been made and that they weren't supposed to fix my phone. They told me that Amazon would send me a gift card within 72 hours. Over 72 hours later... I have no messages from Amazon.
I contacted the UBreakIFix store, and I was basically told that it's not their problem and that I need to contact Amazon... I contacted Amazon... Amazon told me it was Asurion's problem... I contacted Asurion... I was told that UBreakIFix had failed to do something on their end. I called UBreakIFix again and was assured that they would finish the process. The NEXT WEEK, I finally got the gift card. Finally just as a nice cherry on top the phone happened to arrive a week later than the latest expected time of arrival. Meanwhile, I had to try to contact unemployment, secure a new job, and communicate with my Statefarm since my car was totaled all without a phone. All this and I had to pay $142. Oh, and I couldn't transfer anything from my old phone because UBreakIFix kept it from me and sent it away...
P.S. Also being without a phone, I had to continuously go and check-in at the UBreakIFix store. Their hours? 12pm-5pm Tuesday- Friday.... Yeah... and they eventually started doing appointments only.

It was horrible, horrible. I thought I was supposed to get Sunday delivery or next day delivery I didn't get it for 4 days. I needed the phone it was at the shipping center here in Colorado springs UPS or FedEx whichever one it was that I can go pick it up but they needed you guys to release it to me. Nobody would help me through customer service or any way at all. Currently looking for a different insurance company to go through for my products. It's ridiculous that you have to wait.. I don't understand why we can't go to a store to get a refurbished phone instead of you guys having to send it. And you guys are horrible at helping people out.

Service was fine. Too many personal questions asked to make sure it was me, while trying to get my item replaced. Deductible is high. Device took two days to arrive. My daughter has a baby and to be with out a phone. Glad there was no emergency.

I received the replacement phone very quick as stated with the insurance claim. This made my life a lot less crazy. I do not have another phone, so my personal and work life wasn't impacted too bad. I dropped my relatively new phone in the driveway and stepped on it and Asurion got a replacement to me the next day!! I had to take it to Verizon for help getting the new one up and running but that's because I'm not very technical!

It was fast and great. It was easy to install and copy old phone to new phone. But I went to Verizon dealer in palisades park (Verizon Authorized Retailer / 276 Broad Ave, Palisades Park, NJ 07650 /202 363 8870). They were horrible. Rude and not helpful. I would never go back.

Broken phone was replaced and it arrived when it was supposed to. Great service. Glad I had this protection on my granddaughter's phone. Only problem had was with Apple trying to get password reset...took a few days. No problems with shipping back either very easy to do.

I pay over $1,200 a year in insurance and still I have to pay a $229 deductible which is **. It was $200 last year now it's $29 higher. People are struggling and Asurion is raising deductibles. I do not think it's right to pay such a high deductible. The reason for insurance is so you don't have to pay out of pocket if your phone is damaged, lost or stolen.

Actually I am coming to realize that it is in fact useless insurance to insure your phones. As for the deductible you can buy the same reconditioned phone on eBay etc. So you really end up paying insurance to ATT/Asurion for no real benefit! Also the one phone you sent didn't work at all. The second replacement is no better, can't hear the other side mostly and the screen and the transcriber go wild on the slightest touch!!

When contacting customer service, the woman was very nice & said to return the defective phone. It came, phone was ret'd. New phone came & was defective. It had to be ret'd for another phone. Plus the insurance plan didn't pay much at all.

I broke both sides of my phone in a fall. When I called the insurance company they were very friendly and helpful. I had another phone the next day. They sent a packing label for the return postage which I thought was a good deal.

Received a phone with a cracked/scratched screen. When I attempted to call about the issue, I received a message about being too busy then the line hung up with no chance to leave a message for a callback. I was not going to start another claim as that would have incurred another deductible. Wholly unacceptable between the monthly fee and the deductible payment.

All was great except where there was a part of filing the initial claim where a phone was needed to get a code or some sort? Unless the ATT guy did it wrong, it seemed kind of a bad idea for anyone who loses their phone. I also took a star off for the phone delivery time... I lost it Saturday, claimed it late Sunday when I got back into town at an ATT store, and It did not arrive till late Tuesday. Amazon is faster than that. Just food for thought.

1st they downgraded my phone because they didn't have the same phone available. Then, since I didn't have the right case for the replacement phone, I cracked my screen. Had to mail the phone in to be repaired. Still waiting to get it back, it's been more than a week since I mailed it out. This insurance is a waste of money! I will definitely decline the service in future!

When I initially placed a claim, the representative answered all of my questions and concerns. Unfortunately, a replacement phone was not immediately available, but I still received the correct replacement phone a couple of weeks later. New phone works great! My daughter dropped her iPhone 13 Pro and ended up with a green screen and unusable. We filed a claim and had a new replacement in two days. Very easy and simple claims process and she was back up and running within a couple hours. Very fast and replacement was excellent.

Quick replacement of product. Clear instructions to active replacement phone. $200 replacement cost kind of pricey For 2 year old model. Was going to give 5 star otherwise. But the deductible pushed it down to 4 star

The process to get my claim filed and completed was a nightmare. We were told we would have the phone in 1-2 days, however did not receive the phone for 8 days. The company made it complicated in that we had to download, print, sign and send back an affidavit, and send a copy of my drivers licence. In addition because it was my son's phone, and he is an authorized person on my account, he originally filed the claim, however they require only the main account holder to file the claim, so after of few days of waiting with no word, we had to call and find this out, and then start the process for a second time. Every time I called there were long wait times and I was disconnected 3 times and would have to call back. In addition we had to pay a high deductable which was about 25% of the cost of the phone.

Everything was super easy. From ordering replacement to transferring everything and returning. Did have a small issue with activating the SIM but used the chat function to speak with an agent and it was resolved very quickly. Very good job!

Everything went smoothly except when filing claim for lost phone I had to receive authorization code on text to lost phone??? To do this I had to go to an AT&T store and they issued me a new sim card and put in temp phone so we could get code.... Not a good method....

My phone was lost/stolen on Friday, Dec. 31 mid-day. I called immediately, had my phone suspended and blocked the number. I went to ATT and had the replacement one set up for delivery. I didn’t receive my replacement until Tuesday, Jan. 4. I was told they usually overnight them and I should have had it within a day or 2.
It took 4 days because of the holiday. I get the holidays but if that was case I wish the person never told me they usually come in 1-2 days! Because that was my expectation and you guys definitely failed that one. It would be nice if you had a plan in place for situations like these with holidays. I’m a healthcare worker and don’t have the luxury of having holidays off. Otherwise it was a great experience, minus the wait time, waiting for the new one to come.

This company is a fraud. You purchase tv protection plan but they do not cover during manufacture's warranty term. They will just put you in contact with the manufacturer. They do not have any intelligent tech service. They will hang up on you. Go to Allstate Protection for full coverage

I initially had a very hard time trying to connect via the internet and moved to the phone option. It kept booting me out of the server. While it took me awhile to actually reach a live person via the phone, once we were connected the service was wonderful.

My service was excellent. The online form was easy to fill out and I received my phone in a timely manner. My activation was not hard to fill out. The only thing I did not like was the fact that I couldn't get my phones open to switch Sim cards. I had to go to the store but it was fine. My overall experience was great. Thank you.

My 17 year old granddaughter had cracked her phone frame then dropped it out of her back jeans pocket into the toilet. Asurion sent a new one right away. Much appreciated. Asurion has instituted a user-friendly and smooth process for reporting claims and obtaining a solution. I made my claim on-line and received a response in less than 1 hour indicating that my claim was processed and approved. I received a replacement item within 24 hours of my claim being approved.

The reason for 4 and not 5 stars, is the price. I’ve paid for several years now on two phones. Yes I’ve used, the service three times now but that is what it’s for, my deductible shouldn’t be as high as it was. I also get a refurbished phone NOT new. So kinda disappointed there. But shipping was extremely fast and the service to help set up the phone was great. So few things could be better but it could be worse. So thanks.

The phone is my son's and the screen was cracked. I started a claim 08/2021. I previously used Asurion to fix a screen on my grandson's phone and it was very easy. A tech came to our home and fixed his phone from his vehicle. When I started the claim for my son's phone, I expected the same service. Then I was told that service wasn't available for his phone and that we would have to mail his phone in for repair. My son has medical issues and can't be without his phone in case of an emergency. Also, with shipping being what it is these days, I knew he would potentially be without a phone for a week or more. That was confirmed by one of the customer service reps I spoke with.
We were offered the option to drive 1 and a 1/2 to 2 hours away to have his screen fixed with the same deductible. We would have a 1 hour window for an appointment. This would entail taking a day off of work, gas and a bridge toll on top of the deductible. That was totally unacceptable so I didn't finish the claim. The screen became worse so I called again in 12/2021 to see if the situation had changed. It had not. I made the decision to pay to have a new phone sent for a $199.00 deductible as it would have cost that much to choose the option to drive to the only location that might be able to fix the screen.
Our area DOES have places that could have fixed his screen but Asurion doesn't have a contract with any of them. I found the whole experience to be horrible and feel that the insurance I pay a lot for every month is pretty worthless. It seems you have me between a rock and a hard place. I need insurance on our phones but you make no allowances for persons who have medical issues/disabilities. Shame on you.

The whole process was very well done, however in our case we had an iPhone completely damaged accidentally in a microwave, so could not use the SIM card from the damaged phone. After activating the replacement phone sending and receiving calls required ATT to do additional online setup to activate calling, receiving and voicemail. This should have been explained in the activation process instructions. Add this and you have a five star procedure in my opinion.

The price of the insurance deductible is entirely too high especially when they're only replacing the customer lost or damaged phone with a restored/refurbished phone. However the service representative was very knowledgeable and helpful and she gave me other recommendations for insurance protection on my other household electronics. I still think it’s a rip off for Asurion to be charging a monthly billed rate for insurance and the customer is still charged a $250 deductible that’s absurd!

I canceled in less than 3 weeks. So now I am getting billed for nearly $50.00 and it's going to take up to 3 billing cycles to get it refunded. I feel like I was misled and there's $50 I can't afford at Christmas. This has left a bad taste in my mouth and I will be certain to let people know that you folks aren't real upfront with customers with that service. You are real quick to charge but horrible making it right.

Insurance claim was easy and straightforward. Step by step instructions made the process simple. After a brief, less than 24hr verification my new device was on its way. The new device came packed properly and with everything, including tape to reseal the box for the return of the old device.

The overall experience is great. The service process was easy to understand. My only issue is 250 deductible. I pay a lot money for my phone and the for insurance. Due to the pandemic everything is expensive and the deductible made me question if buying insurance or an expensive phone is worth it.

The second representative that I spoke with was extremely helpful and willing. I was not told by the first representative that I would need to call back and create a claim. I was told that there was no way to have my device delivered to the same address where the first one didn’t make it to, meanwhile having no other address. So I was frustrated, however when I called back the representative was amazing and he was able to offer options to ensure that I would be able to get my replacement phone. I am overall satisfied with my experience.

Great customer service. Received a reconditioned phone in 2 days. Called, explained my son's phone was destroyed and stuck in boot mode. Received replacement in two short days. My other son lost his phone and it was replaced very quickly also.

Had to pay an incredible amount to replace phone despite having Asurion insurance. Why have phone insurance if it isn't going to cover the cost of replacing the phone? It was several hundred dollars that I had to pay out of pocket.

Resolved in a timely fashion. The customer service helped to find a lost delivery. Phone works well and is an accurate replacement for the phone that was stolen and which I reported right away. The website was easy to follow. One thing worth mentioning is that it's hard to do a 2-factor authentication if you don't have your phone.

Had a problem with expanding Google 3XL and it was corrected. 2 times and no problems. I believe my problem was taken care of and would recommend to others to use this service. The first phone sent to me, after my iPhone was stolen, was defective (difficult plugging the power cord onto the phone and routinely heating up, unable to place by my ear). The second phone received today does the same thing. Both, inferior quality, appear to be “restored” phones. Will need to return this one as well.

Filing claim took under a minute with short questionnaire. New device received VERY quickly, within 1 day by mail. Activation and return of damaged device was super easy with the instruction sheets and materials included. The price of the replacement device at $200 was not required up front and does pale in comparison to the full retail cost of a new Pixel.

Was able to get replacement phone quickly, and at a fair price. $200 did seem a bit high, but much better than cost of replacing an Iphone by purchasing a new one. We have misplaced old broken phone and will be charged the $100 for not mailing it back, but even at $300 out of pocket cost for replacement Iphone X, better than having to purchase from a store.
