    I was LIED TO!! I told the operator that the screen was "blue" or had "bled" according to the "web". They told me "GOOD NEWS!! You qualify for a 29.00 screen replacement. You didn't have an "S-7" so I got an "S-8". This weekend I got a receipt saying I lied and you found more damage and have charged me 189.00!!! WITHOUT TELLING ME!!!! Could of caused insufficient funds and charges and all because YOUR PEOPLE LIED TO ME!!! This was **.     The process of getting the replacement phone, went great! The replacement phone has a speaker/microphone issue, and that has gone less smoothly. Every time I have talked to someone about this, they have been less than accommodating. The last person I talked to was nice enough, after a bit of a strained conversation at first, because I didn't know that they needed my business name instead of my name. I understand that customer service is stressful, but I do it too (customer service), and your phone voice should be a kind one.

    I'm still trying to figure this issue out - I don't want to have to get another replacement phone, if possible, because we are trying to run a business and have been spending a lot of time getting this phone set up like the old one was. Now we're spending time trying to figure out why the microphone is not working and we're using work time to solve that issue. It's counter-productive and frustrating.

    Horrible experience. Sent my phone for cracked screen repair. After 3 weeks of calling, asking where my phone was and being told that there is just a "delay" in shipping, I finally found out that the repair shop never received my device and was lost in transit. After 1 month I finally received a replacement phone for the $29 cost of repair since my original phone was lost. I thought it was finally over. But it wasn't!!! I then receive an email stating I needed to send back my original device or I would be charged $1008 for the new phone I received.

    Contacted Asurion again to explain that I DO NOT HAVE THE ORIGINAL DEVICE BECAUSE IT WAS LOST IN TRANSIT, to be assured it was handled. 2 weeks later I receive a letter in the mail stating the same thing. I again called and spoke with rep and am hoping this nightmare is finally over. Horrible experience and getting an actual person to talk to is nearly impossible. I will pay $250 to repair a cracked screen rather than ever use this company again.

    My phone started to do something weird with the screen. I took it to Ubreakifix and they told me to call the number to file a claim. I am charged $26.74 a month for my Asurion home plan which covers only my phone. I filed the claim on Monday and the soonest they could be there was Thursday. They said they would send someone out to fix the phone and allowed me to schedule a time either 11-1 or 1-3. I work 24 hours shifts and was working Wednesday until 7 a.m. on Thursday. I picked the 11-1 even though this would mean I'd only get 3-4 hours of sleep because I'm moving and wanted to get stuff done that day. I got emails confirming my appointment and got up at 10:30 to make sure I was ready when the guy came.

    At 2 p.m. I called Asurion. The automated system hung up on me twice so I called Verizon, my carrier. They tried to help and gave me the Asurion number, which I called again and just kept hitting 0 until I got through to a person. The guy was nice but couldn't even find my account or knew that I could even have such a plan and tried to sell me another one. He told me that they would be sending me a new phone instead of fixing the one I have and said that the guy would be here between 5 and 7 tonight. I didn't get a phone call about the guy not being able to make it. I didn't even get a text. The guy on the phone couldn't explain why the repair guy never showed.

    This has to be the worst customer service experience I've ever had. The guy on the phone was trying to be helpful and we were on the phone for 47 minutes and 15 seconds. He just didn't have the training to find my account and didn't even know what plan I was talking to. Even talking to his colleague didn't help and it took them elevating it to the manager to figure out what kind of plan I had. They still never found my account as far as I could tell. I wasted 4 hours of my day on these clowns. A day when I have 24 hours off to sleep between two 24-hour shifts. I work in transplant, my phone is essential to me being able to save lives and these clowns can't get it together to even find my account?

    I don't remember how long I've been paying $26.74 a month for this plan but it is going to stop as soon as I get this new phone. I'm going to ask for them to reimburse me for the time I've wasted and, given that I'd be getting what I'm getting without a plan apparently, ask for my money back. That is if I can even reach someone at the company and they can find my account. More likely it seems that I will just have to direct my credit card company to decline their payments going forward. I've been with Verizon since at least 2009 and am thinking about changing my service provider because they deal with Asurion. I'll try to find one that doesn't and if I can I'm about 75% sure I will switch.

    I'm on my 3rd replacement phone. Hopefully, this one will not have the problems the other ones did. It my understading that these replacement phones are all refurbished. It would be nice to get a new phone. Each phone I have returned has had a different problem. With one I couldn't answer the phone because the screen stayed black when it rang. The next one had problems with the touch screen. It wouldn't work a good portion of the time.

    My son contacted my wife through his friend's phone to tell us that his phone was showing black screen. He tried booting it up, got a green screen, then black screen again. I attempted a claim that evening on the computer, but was unsuccessful. I got a message saying I had to call. After jumping through the "put this number in" hoops for about 5 minutes, I was told that the center was closed. So the next morning I called to speak to an actual person. She was very nice, but the new hoop to jump was security question. My wife is primary, so I didn't know what the last two numbers of her driver license would add up to. The claim was on hold until I could get the picture of her dl.

    I called back yesterday afternoon and was surprised and shocked that I had to download, print out, fill out, upload and send in an affidavit for repair. I never had to do that before. I have 5 kids, so I have been replacing phones for a little bit. I did the legal stuff, and after I sent it in, I called to make sure it went through. The rep told me that I got the date wrong, so I would have to resubmit. I did that, and wanted to talk to Customer Care because I have been paying for this service for years and have been paying at least half price of a new phone for a refurbished phone. They are making their money off of me, surely. I asked to speak to customer care, got put on hold, then transferred to a dead line. I called back with the same request, and finally spoke to a rep who was halfway sympathetic. She talked with the exalted "adjusters" and it was handed down from the exalted that I would have to wait 24 hours before they made a decision.

    I called back last night, just to hear that my claim would have to be resubmitted yet again, because of the date. So I did it yet again, just to hear that the adjusters weren't there, and I would have to call back today. I called back today to find out that the claim may or may not be declined, but would have to wait 24 hours. I got put on hold yet again, just to get put back into the pool waiting on a rep. I told the next rep I wanted to speak to Customer Care because I was sure that maybe one of them might decide to help me out, instead of just reciting "Policy". To be fair, this rep was a great stone wall for Customer Care. She recited Policy almost to the letter, halfway apologized, and ended with me hanging up. I finally just got approval to move on with my claim around 30 seconds ago, but this review stands. I might have to add more. The way this claim has been going, there is no telling.

    I purchased a Asurion 4yr protection from Staples, for my 17 inch HP Laptop. After sending pictures of the hinges of HP Laptop rising/lifting after purchasing my laptop a little over a year. Asurion claim process says it takes 3 business day to review a claim. After filing the claim within 2 hrs Asurion denied my claim. I then called them and asked why?. They told me that this is physical/accidental damage. I told them that I did not physical/accidental damage my laptop. After doing my own personal investigations I've found reliable sources of consumers complaining of hinges rising after purchasing HP laptops on Best Buy websites, on consumer board websites and etc.. I also found out on the website **, HP had a lawsuit out against them in 2021 for a defect of manufacture on their Laptop computers concerning its hinges.

    I then reported this to Asurion. They did not consider my investigation and told me that my claim is no longer in review. I feel defeated because I did not cause my laptop hinges to disconnected. I purchased Asurion protection plan so that I could feel secure when purchasing such an expensive device. I talked to supervisors concerning this matter. Asurion has a tech department that can easily fix this problem that is reoccurring for a lot of HP laptop consumer. I need someone to help me because I feel that Asurion's motion was unjustly. Do not purchase and protection plans from them. Save your money.

    My iPhone was lost and I did online claim and it took one month for them to response and have to call them each and every single time for the updates. Every time I call they promise that, "Your claim is approved and will be processed in 24 hrs" and after constant 3 weeks they didn't approve the claim and when I asked the reason they didn't mention me the reason and ask me to contact the carrier company. Not sure why to contact carrier company as have purchase the protection plan from Asurion. Don't trust this company. Never works and will keep on hold for hours and will say same thing over and again....DON'T recommend this insurance company.     After filing my initial claim, I received a return envelope for my broken device that was not the correct sizing (too small). I tried to contact customer service to explain and was assured my next envelope will Fit the device I had to return. I explained to the agent the device has two versions a basic and a pro. I had the pro which was significantly larger than the basic model. Again she said she understood and the next envelope should fit. When I received the next envelope it was even smaller that the initial envelope I received. My cellular device couldn’t fit in that envelope. The was no way possible a tablet could.

    It’s frustrating to try continuously attempt to correct an issue and not be offered the best course of action. Had I try to force the device in that I received the device would had additional damage while in transit. I had to call once more to get a shipping label that I could print out which I feel should have been offered as a resolution the first time. The continuous back and and forward communication is honestly a waste of time and causes a delay in the process.

    Once I was able to send the device and it was marked as delivered, the next day I got a letter via mail saying I didn’t return the device in on time. I have to call customer service once more to provide a tracking number and tracking information. Not sure if I would be possible but to prohibit the need to send those letter there should be an opportunity for customers to provide that information rather than spend time calling customer service.

    Take aways from this:
    Ensure sizing for return devices are correct
    Provide the best course of action when an issue occurs

    Allow customers to provide tracking information before they get notices

    I want to see if you let this go through because a complaint would NOT. I am very disappointed with this replacement. It is smaller than my device, floats around in the previous device's case. The person I talked to said it was 3 mm larger. You could have fooled me. It is slower than a sloth climbing a tree. It takes minutes to lead when my previous IPad took less that 30 seconds. Minutes to open a program. Minutes to move up a level. Objects I touch fly off in weird directions or do NOT respond at all. Cannot play anything timed.     The problem I have is with ubreak ifix. The worst service I've ever experienced in my life. I drove over 75 mi to get my screen repaired. That took about 8 hours.     The first replacement phone couldn’t be activated because it was listed as a lost or stolen phone so that had to be returned and and replacement phone was sent which did work. We returned both phones but I still got a threatening letter indicating we had to return a phone or we would be charged, not nice.

    Shipment was fast, but delivered to a wrong address. Then when I called back the rep was not helpful at all and didn’t want to hear me talk, they wanted to finish talking before I could talk. I did not catch her name because I was kind of irritated about how she was handling this and to top it off she didn’t finish processing the second phone so I had to wait an additional couple of days and when I called back the last rep said it was not processed but she was calm and answered all my questions while figuring out what was going on and sent out a new phone.
