    I filed a claim when my phone didn't want to charge but after the 2nd day Asurion had already sent out new phone, then my current phone started to work again. Called service line, I was told when I received new phone to just sent it back and I would get a refund of $189 (what I was charged as a deductible) almost 2 months later, still waiting on refund. :(

    My address was entered incorrectly and when I called a new case was opened and I was shipped 2 cell phones. I had to cancel my debit card that I gave over the phone so that I wouldn't be charged 700 for a 2nd core I did not have. I then had to pay 50 dollars out of my own pocket to send one of the phones back to you guys. Not once was that ever offered as a reimbursement to my account for your mistake. I've contacted Verizon as well to let them know how unorganized this process is.

    My Apple Watch 4 was malfunctioning. They instantly approved its replacement. But, they were out of the Apple Watch 4 and sent me the Apple Watch 5.     I was at uBreakiFix for a different issue all together and I happen to stand there at the counter waiting for me to be waited on. A lady came in with a laptop and she says I have the Home Plus insurance and I asked, "What is that?" She says, "It’s great to have." She said, "Everything in your household is covered in one monthly fee." I was so surprised that everything is covered in my house and they said, "Yes. That is electronic after your waiting period of 31 days of file could be claimed."

    So I called and talk to someone online about the service and makes assured me that everything that I own in my home that’s electronic is covered. "Even your doorbell on your outside door is covered. If there’s any type of problem, even if you have a tablet, a laptop, Xbox is covered."     My data could not be transferred due to the screen being damaged. I asked for the glass to be replaced so I could salvage my data, but I was told by Asurion that my phone would be wiped even with the repair. I couldn't take it to a uBreakiFix because the glass was on back order for months. You should give people the option to NOT wipe the phone with a repair. Let US decide to take that risk. I lost things that couldn't be backed up. I should have been given the option instead of "for your security."

    After much frustration was finally able to speak with a representative who assured me that I would receive a phone comparable to the phone I lost, only to receive the least expensive version of the make and model. Again, after much frustration I was told that I needed to resolve the issue with Verizon. Verizon would not buy, trade or offer a discount and I was required to pay full price.     Based on cost to replace damage and lost phone the cons seem more beneficial. The customer service and process are tedious. I will decline coverage from here on out. The time and effort was extremely time consuming. When I receive the device; I found that customer representatives lack the knowledge needed to assist with setup. So, I had to call several times before issue was resolved.

    Asurion was supposed to deliver new phone on Saturday between 5-7pm. No show, no call, no email, nothing. Could not reach them at their 888 number. Could not get past the "enter phone number" requirement to speak with a human. It did not work. Finally was able to reach them through a Verizon representative. I have had other problems with this company in the past. All related to poor service and contact issues. Note that just because your carrier bundles and makes this insurance available, there are many other options. Just Google cell phone insurance. There are other companies who do this.

    I had a horrible experience!!! My phone was broken! So I called Verizon they tell me I could fix my phone at a local shop and they would reimburse me the cost of the repair since I have insurance!! And that it was only $50.00 for my deductible.. I called you guys Asurion! And that Operator told me..” that the statement that the Verizon lady gave me was false!! And my deductible will be $229.00 but to look on the bright side because now that I paid my deductible of $229.00 that my phone was now paid off and I didn’t have to pay for my phone monthly anymore! I asked 4 times at least, "Are you sure?? Because I don’t think that’s how this works". She reassured me every time. I asked by says yes every time. So I call Verizon back and tell them about the lady I talked to at Verizon prior to talking to you guys..

    Now all of a sudden the First Lady that I talked to that says to get my phone fixed and me deductible was only $50.00 doesn’t exist and that you guys were false for telling me that my phone was gonna be paid off now.. So I call you guys back Asurion and this new lady says the info about my phone being paid off is false! And I’m still gonna have to pay for my phone.

The CSR was great (or so I thought) the process was easy to start and I was assured I would get a check 10 days after they got the product. Well they got it on May 4th, on May 25th I contacted them and they were sorry for the issues and they would escalate the problem. I would hear from a supervisor likely in 24 hours but no more than 2-3 days. On June 2 I contacted them again and got the same response. I escalated my demand for answers and was up with the supervisor who processed it right away and I got my Gift Card (not a check as promised) right away.

    Verizon was zero help. Asurion got expensive now costing $18/mo plus deductible is way high on an IPhone XS $259. I’m cancelling and getting all new phones from Apple from now on with the 2 year full protection program for IPhone 13 pro 512 for $8.33/mo. Do the math. You guys sent me a refurb for full deductible with a weak battery and god knows what else. I’m done with asurion.

    Screen breaks. I pay the 29.99 screen replacement. Screen repair man puts new screen on my phone. Notice 1 or 2 days later that my face recognition feature doesn’t work at all. So I go to local Verizon authorized retailer to diagnose the issue and confirm the face recognition feature Is faulty. So I call in my situation to be basically be told I don’t know anything and the resolve end being told I’m going to be sent a replacement. That never showed up and was too late to call it in because my 150lb dog had stepped on the back by the camera and broke the glass. So In conclusion I’m stuck with a phone I paid to be repaired that wasn’t and a broken phone that I have to pay the full replacement fee for a fully operational device. All because some people can’t do the job correctly. So absolute -10 star review. Absolute horse ** customer service.

    Repair was perfect. 4 stars only because of scheduling issues. I was cancelled because repair tech was sick. I was called the night before and the man in the phone rescheduled me for the weekend. The next morning I missed a call from another Asurion person. Tried to call back and was on hold for extended time. >30 minutes. Had to use self schedule online and next appointment available was quite a bit in the future. I figured worst case scenario, someone showed up for the weekend like the first man on the phone said he scheduled me and we cancel the self “rescheduled” appointment could be cancelled.

    No one showed up on the weekend or called me. I had to wait for the “rescheduled” appointment. I didn’t miss the appointment. It may appear in your system that I rescheduled because the appointment didn’t work for me but that is not what happened. Your tech was sick (which I understand totally) but communication broke down between the night before my original appointment and the next day when someone called me back.

    I had my phone screen replaced, which was fine. The screen works well. However, a few weeks later I received mail stating I had been enrolled and charged in the Asurion home device protection plan, which I repeatedly said I was not interested in. I have no idea how I got enrolled in this plan by having my screen replaced but I believe this practice to be unethical, to say the least. Now, I do not want to use Asurion any more because I can not trust that they will just perform the required repair.

    The process was easy once we did it on the website. Phone lines were overly busy and we didn't have any luck reaching a real person. Go for the website! It would be nice though, if we need to call back, to have an expedited line for claims that are already in process. We filled out the paperwork and said the phone was an S8+. Received a letter that more info was needed and to call in. After waiting on hold for about thirty minutes we got in and found out it should have been an S8. After that, it took another 24-48 hours for the claim to process.

    Every time we get a refurbished phone, something on it doesn't work. This time it is the talk to text, before, it took 4 times to get a phone that actually worked. If it weren't for the fact I live paycheck to paycheck, I wouldn't waste my money on insurance for phones!

    Tried starting claim online then call representative which was useless customer service and at the end end up canceling service paying 50 a month and not being able to get a claim done.     Two problems, it took multiple phone calls to get a claim started due to conflicting info from the Verizon store and Asurion Rep. It was suggest to call asurion to set up phone and we ended up giving up and going to the verizon store only to get conflicting info yet again.
