Asurion took care of my needs in an expedient manner. Sent me what I needed and I returned the phone to them in the return package that was furnished to me. Asurion gave me the assistance that I needed and helped me to start operating again. Have not had any problems since that time. I appreciate the assistance that I was given. Easy, fast claim service. First replacement phone was a dud (refurbished, as expected). Second replacement phone sent immediately with no hassle. Thank you for the great service. Not all insurance plans are as convenient. I would recommend this insurance plan to anyone who is a Verizon customer.

Process was easier than expected. The new phone arrived quickly and I had no problems with return of the damaged phone. Help was available for transferring data and activation of new device. New device seems in great shape and I've had no issues.

The person who answered the phone was courteous and made sure everything was taken care of before I got off the phone. Had to do with returning the phone. It was on its way and held up somewhere in the postal system. He got the assurance that I would not be charged $100 for not returning the phone.

I love my new phone - it even works inside my house!! Once it fell - my old phone didn't do anything well and it ran out of storage so quickly. On this new phone I can text and snap photos easily, plus it stores everything I need. I truly love my new phone!!!

The phone arrived in good time. The instructions were clear. I managed to transfer all data from the old phone to the new without problems as the old phone still worked even though the back glass was broken. The follow up from Asurion were appropriate.

The customer service lady who helped me was very thorough with finding options that worked for us. I usually don't like making calls, but her manner put me at ease. The turnaround time was great but I was given another color phone. I waited 2 months to receive the phone when I pre ordered it and when it got damaged I expected the same phone for as much as I've paid for it and the insurance coverage. Original phone was Grey and I received a Black phone replacement.

My daughter had her phone stolen while studying abroad. Asurion told her the replacement phone would be there within 7-10 days. When we called (repeatedly) to find out where the phone was, they kept saying that it would be there tomorrow, day after day. The phone was sent via UPS and I 'think' that the phone may have been in customs? We're not really sure because it never showed up before she had to leave. It was VERY disappointing to have my daughter so far away and have no quick way to reach her for over 3 weeks....

My husband’s phone was stolen and I put the claim through. The process was very simple and we had the new phone within 2 days. Very happy with the service received and the speed with which they resolved my claim. Only negative is that the replacement phone was poorly packaged and came with a generic charger, luckily we had the original one that came with the stolen phone.

We had received a replacement phone from you that the Bluetooth stopped working. When I called to report it the agent quickly sent out a replacement phone. It was frustrating that the first phone had issues but the situation was fixed.

I took in my Apple laptop in to get the battery replace and to free up some memory on it. They fixed my problem and replaced my battery with a new one. They were so nice and friendly to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Never again. Broke my phone worse than when they got it. My screen was cracked but it worked fine. They fixed the crack but made my phone unusable. Had to get a new one with no way to transfer contacts or pictures.

I'm very disappointed. I pay 50 per month in insurance for 3 phones and 11 a month for another and 200 for each deductible and I'm told I can only claim so many times. No way! And it's even if I call on it. Not completed claims. Also phones with manufactured defects are claims. This is bull!

My granddaughter's phone stopped working while she was in a different state. She went to a Verizon store where they determined the phone was beyond repair. They had us file a claim and we had it shipped to the condo she was in. I was apprehensive about having it shipped there but the new phone arrived by the following evening. We were very pleased with the service!

Do not get the insurance from Walmart. Upon submitting a claim it automatically cancelled my plan and I cannot do anything to change it or speak with an agent. It may have worked years ago but it is not working now. I think it was automatically cancelled for selecting the wrong drop down "Accesssory Not Working" but the claim itself was for Accessory insurance so it misinterpreted that as peripheral to the controller rather than the whole accessory I paid for. This was for a PS4 Controller, the device itself doesn't work and now Asurion won't honor its insurance plan.

Getting a new phone after my son drove over his with a golf cart was fast and easy. He had his new phone in 2 days, and the prepaid return envelope makes it easy to take care of. They make it easy and the instructions to turn off my iPhone, was very helpful.

My son broke our tablet by accident. At first, I thought I could save money by having another place fix the screen. However, Asurion was the only place reasonably priced with fast and easy service. Our tablet was shipped next day with everything we needed inside the box. Following the online steps was easy, and I even finished my claim months later because I needed to save funds to pay my deductible.

The representative was extremely helpful. I did need to work with the IT team a few days, resetting the phone etc. but ultimately I received a new iPhone. I would strongly encourage people to have Asurion insurance. I have 2 sons and have used the insurance multiple times over the years and saved a small fortune.

The appointment process was a problem. The appointment for home repair was made and not kept, which was a huge disappointment when I made arrangements to take off work early. When customer support was contacted, the representative was not professional, and disconnected the call. The second representative told me that she didn't see an appointment. It was a very unprofessional process. UbreakIFix has decent service and the manager was very accommodating when the device could not be repaired the first day. The entire process called for too much effort to get a device repaired and could have gone much more smoothly with customer service representatives who actually know what they are doing, who care about customers and take responsibility for the things they're doing. I hope others have a better experience. Unfortunately, mine was not the best.

Camera lens on the iPhone13 Pro cracked the first time it fell to the floor from a distance of 2 feet just 10 days after getting it. I received the replacement quickly as promised. My issue was the cost for the replacement when I believe the design of the phone is flawed because the lens are not protected properly and this should have been covered by Verizon on a phone less than a month old with no product warning by the associates that recommended the phone over other models that didn’t have these issues.

Phone ran over, not working. Glad to have a replacement phone, but did not like the fee! I'm old and can't remember my Apple ID and the Cableone.com email server no longer exists! So I have been told that my photos, music can not be retrievable. Is this true?

Technician was very fast and knowledgeable. Within 12 hours of cracking my screen I was back up and running. The entire process we easy to navigate, the online claim was painless. I just wish there would have been an option for me to take it to a repair store instead of making the technician come all the way out to my house and work in his car.

Instead of helping me, the representative badgered me to buy more insurance. After saying no several times I was forced to hang up. I finally ordered online. When I received the phone the next day, with instructions to activate which were not intuitive, I had to go to Verizon store for help. It took a knowledgeable representative over 1 and 1/2 hrs. to activate, install & transfer my data from my old phone. This was NOT an easy experience.

The tech arrived on time. He called ahead to let me know his arrival time. He helped me take off the location so that he could access the phone. He took the phone to his van to repair it and then returned it in approximately 30 minutes. The screen looked good as new.

I'm honestly disappointed with how things went. Don't get me wrong, the customer service was amazing. It was products. The merchandise itself! The current phone I am using right now. Is the second replacement and the phone is still in some ways messed up. My power button rarely works; Since Day One of receiving the device. I'm not so upset that it's like this. My technician was helpful and efficient. He was knowledgeable also. I was unable to give him a review on the phone. I should have my the warranty covered replacement on Monday. He walked me through several different strategies for troubleshooting. None of those worked. I'm looking forward to receiving my replacement as soon as possible.

I have been paying Asurion insurance premium for at least a decade now. I filed a claim mid May 2022 and I have not filed one since 2017. I wouldn't have considered filing a claim then, AND this year, if both phone batteries didn't quit working. Issue #1: When I filed a claim in May 2022, I was charged a $189.00 deductible. But I received a refurbished Samsung Galaxy S8 to replace my S8 phone. A phone that I could have purchased directly from Verizon as "Certified Pre-Owned" for $121.99. Per Asurion response on 06/24/2022: "It’s our mission to get you reconnected as quickly as possible and for less than the retail cost of a replacement phone." = WELL, YOU DROPPED THE BALL ON THIS ONE!I
Issue #2: On 07/05/2022, I contacted Asurion again because the refurbished phone I was sent had some damage. Maybe due to poor packaging and/or delivery mishandling. I gave it a try but the damage got worse. So I called Asurion and a replacement phone was processed. I was offered a Samsung Galaxy A53. I expressed that I don't know anything about that phone. The lady told me that it is an upgrade from the Samsung Galaxy S8. She also told me multiple times that if I take it, it is free. But only for that day! I told myself, it just makes sense that it's free because I was already charged the $189.00 deductible a month and a half ago and I got a damaged replacement phone. Sadly, my card was charged another $189.00 deductible that day.
Per Asurion response on 05/27/2022: "Good news! Many replacements come with a 1 year limited warranty. That means if you experience a covered warranty failure it’ll be replaced at no additional cost. " = You can't tell me that receiving a damaged replacement phone does not fall under a covered warranty! YOU DEFINITELY DROPPED THE BALL ON THIS ONE AGAIN!!!
Issue #3: On 07/08/2022, I got an e-mail stating I need to return the damaged refurbished S8 phone or I will be charged an extra -up to $300.00 non- return fee.Upon research, a brand new Samsung Galaxy A53 retail price is $499.99. And one can get a brand new one for $360.00 from Verizon directly. Not to mention the other way lower prices from other retail stores. So far, Asurion has charged me $372.00 ($189.00 deductible times 2). I HAD BEEN CHARGED MORE THAN THE ACTUAL FULL RETAIL PRICE OF A BRAND NEW Samsung Galaxy A53!! Then you want to charge me an extra -up to $300.00 for a damaged refurbished S8 phone that only costs $121.99 with Verizon? I just literally started figuring out how to set up the Samsung Galaxy A53 yesterday. I still am trying to figure out if all the apps that are medically needed for my battery operated heart will work on this device.
Also, a brand new Samsung Galaxy S8 retail price was $750.00. And my S8 phone was brand new. My premium and deductible went up based on the original/brand new price of the said phone. And I had faithfully paid my premium for over a decade now! The Samsung Galaxy A53's brand new/highest retail price online is only $499.99. Based on the price comparison, do you really think the Samsung Galaxy A53 is an upgrade? Overall, if this is how you treat your loyal customers who have been paying coverage for over a decade now, then no one should get coverage from you! If you will just be honest... I do not think that any Asurion employees, including the OWNER of the company, will appreciate getting cheated the way you did me!

My Samsung Galaxy phone suffered from a cracked screen and even though it didn't really negatively impact my use of the device, I decided to have it replaced. Warranty service was quick and easy to process and I had my new phone up and running in 2 days.

Enjoy ease of the claims process. Quick response. Getting my new phone on and connecting to the iCloud to restore my phone was not successful. That is not on Asurion. Customer service representative was helpful and tried to restore my phone then hooked me up with Apple to continue the process.

I needed a screen replacement, it was so convenient and they came to me while I was at work. Definitely worth the insurance. The tech was great as well. For some reason the app wouldn’t recognize my work address so I left a special direction to come at a certain time within my scheduled timeframe. We have used the protection service twice and both times were a pleasant experience. The first was my daughter cracked the screen on her phone. They had a mobile technician come to our house and replace the screen. I have the Samsung galaxy z3 flip. A few weeks back I filed a claim. Had to pay 230 bucks for deductible which was fine. 3 days after I got my replacement phone the screen cracks all over on the fold. This is a manufacturer issue. Yet you would not warranty it so I had to pay another 230 bucks for Asurion sending me a malfunctioned device. So in 1 week had to pay 500 bucks for your mess up. I give a -5 star rating. Since I had to pay a 2nd time for a warranty not honored.

I was locked out of my phone for almost a week. The instruction to use my old SIM card left me phoneless. This was a huge hassle and safety issue. The phone works fine but the setup was difficult and resulted in me needing to go to the Verizon store 3 separate times due to the faulty setup instructions.

I filed a claim with Asurion for my broken phone. They charged me 270$ dollars plus all the payments I did monthly through the years and they sent me a refurbished phone malfunctioning, I call them to ask for warranty and they hanged up on me saying that they were to busy and would call me back which never happened, I don’t recommend those guys, they are too expensive just to give you another broken phone.

Quick service. No complaints other than the insurance payment spread over time. Pay a lump sum to the carrier; why do I have to wait month by month for the payout on a policy I have paid for? The replacement process was excellent; however, activating the new device was a bit complicated. I found that the instructions were a bit outdated and should have been specific to the phone and model being replaced. I had to figure out certain things myself because the instructions were not current. Other than that, I was happy with the process.

Paul the repair guy came out and replaced the motherboard on the home TV and it works great now! We did have a hiccup. At first the first motherboard was not working correctly. When I bought my 1st Galaxy21s ultra it was new. I had to get a new phone and was sent a refurbished one. It has an air pocket in the screen, was told it was fine. The camera is all jittery. I pay for insurance and have paid for it for years now. This is the first time I have ever had to use it and I get screwed. Really makes me want to switch providers plus the fact I had to pay over 200.00 for a copay just to be sent a crappy refurbished phone when I should have been given a new one.

I cracked the screen and had to have the phone replaced. Once again it took hours to text and reset the replacement phone. What's really most disappointing is that I can purchase a refurbished Samsung Note 9 in excellent condition complete with a 1 yr warranty for $232 vs the $229 you charge me for a replacement phone without having to pay the insurance premiums to Verizon. Your service is poor (text me while you service ten other customers simultaneously--seriously?); your cost is high. Very disappointing.

Brought in my iPad to replace battery. I tell Asurion that it is urgent. Asurion tells me that they will get it done in 24 hours. Asurion breaks screen when replacing battery. Takes two days to get new screen. Asurion tells me that I can pick up the iPad. When I come in, I notice that it does not work (Asurion did not check whether it works, before they tell me to come in). Asurion tells me to come in next day.
Next day: iPad not ready. Asurion tells me to come in next day. Next day: iPad specialist does not work today. Asurion tells me to come in next day. Next day: Asurion tells me that they broke a chip when replacing the screen and they need to mail my iPad to their shop in Texas. I tell them that it is urgent. Asurion tells me that I can pick up the pad in two days (Thursday). Next day: I call Asurion to inquire on status. Asurion tells me that it will take two more days for the iPad to get to Texas (Asurion did not use express mail to save some money). Asurion tells me that they do not know how long it will take to get my iPad back. I ask to speak with the owner. Owner does not care: no call back. I am still waiting....

The first phone replacement had several issues with sending texts to my contacts so, a second phone was sent which was not of good quality to meet my needs. The representative did find the third phone replacement (Kycero) that was made a bit stronger and waterproof which could possibly last much longer. So far, the phone seems to be working without any problems. I appreciated the technicians who assisted me during the process.

I used the chat customer service and it was much easier than I expected. Very helpful and address my issues quickly and filed a claim for a replacement of my product. Would recommend this insurance for your tech products. This could have been more complicated but service rep cut straight to the solution to resolve my problem.

Helpful and clear help the second time around, was sent a bad replacement phone the first time. Also got tech person the first time that was not properly trained to answer questions about phone. When I know more about my phone than the tech I know I'm in trouble. Told that tech I didn't have any more time and hung up.

Too much automation on phone. I had to go into the store to speak to a representative who dialed me right to you. One option should be customer representative where seniors can talk to a person. Many older people are more comfortable talking to an individual.

It was easy to use and get a replacement for my phone that was damaged in a fall. The process itself was user friendly with easy to follow directions, including the return of the damaged phone. I was pleased that I received a new phone and not a refurbished one.

I had some trouble, when the technician that was supposed to deliver my phone, never showed at my house. I arrived home at around 8 on a Friday night, and seeing no phone called the customer service line. I was given a girl (I can't remember her name), and she was excellent. IT took about an hour, but she finally found out what happened and because of all the trouble, I was given an upgraded model. (Honestly the s21 ultra had been on backorder for 3 weeks, and this may have been the reason for the upgrade). Believe you me, I'm not complaining, when a brand new s22 ultra arrived at my door. Thanks, Asurion and thanks to the lady whose name I can't remember (so sorry)!

Easy to work with and efficient and prompt sending of new devices. Would recommend to a friend. The website was easy to follow and devices were received within days. Patient with the lateness of sending back devices since we were on vacation.

Great service and completed work in a fast and timely matter..!! Once I called in they had a representative call to make sure our claim and questions were taken care of. When we had to ship out our equipment they had very good instructions we followed and they even paid for the shipping and delivery back to us. I would highly recommend the warranty for sure..!!

They were punctual and quick! I like that they gave a time frame and stuck to it. I could get on with my day as planned. The repair is flawless and my phone still works great as that is ways a concern.

Cracked front glass screen of phone. Easy to contact and set up claim. Directions to backup data seemed clear, but COULD NOT RECOVER all data (glad we saved all pictures ahead). Damaged phone was received, and surprisingly no damage was observed??!! Not sure it was actually tracked correctly there. Still, a replacement phone was approved, at the cracked screen repair price. All good!!! Replacement phone received, and after much stress, some data (contacts) restored. Also received back our supposedly damaged phone (no damage - not our original phone), with instructions to return it promptly or be charged for it. That really seems like an unnecessary step in this process - fix that. All in all, we have a re-manufactured replacement phone that seems to work well. So we are satisfied mostly.

God awful! The claims process is convoluted, counterintuitive, and full of hurdles, seemingly designed to discourage clients from filing claims. There is a $99 service fee that I was not told about when I agreed to this insurance, and the demand to pay this fee before I even ship my computer. This is shamefully misleading.

A very nice young man came to my house, and repaired my phone screen in under 30 min. Very professional. He was polite and explained the process to me. I would definitely recommend him again. I am glad that Asurion is offering home phone repair now. It is very convenient.

I had trouble with the microphone on my insurance replacement phone which was an XS. People intermittently couldn’t hear me very well. Tried troubleshooting and after that didn’t work Asurion sent me a new phone and it works perfectly. I am happy with the service I received. Thanks.

The gentleman came out to my hotel room and approached it in a professional manner and said he would be back in 30-40 minutes with my phone to replace its broken screen. 23 minutes later after he left (I timed it on my Apple watch) he was back at my room with the phone. That’s impressive and just so simple. And the price to repair it. Unbeatable. Not long before this I used Asurion to replace a lost phone as well. With these two experiences combined I think you got a customer for life.

Asurion is right on top of things. I’ve had to make a few claims. I didn’t wait much time at all. I would highly recommend them to everyone, everyone I have ever talked to there were friendly and courteous and actually made you seem like a friend. I highly recommend them.

Replacement process worked well and migration to restore went fairly smooth. Turn around time was good, as committed. Replacement phone was refurbished and looked used, battery is worn and doesn't hold a full charge! Will have to return if battery doesn't fully charge.

My phone looks brand new, he put a new front and back on for me, on my phone. Asurion did it for a great price too!!! I would definitely be using them again if anything were to happen to my phone again.

It was very straightforward and the customer service was excellent. They guided me through the process and I didn’t feel rushed. A little disappointed that the couldn’t ship my replacement to Mexico and I was without a phone for 6 days which made it a little stressful since I couldn’t check work stuff. Other than that very pleased overall.

Had my phone screen repaired using Asurion. Service was prompt & professional with low deductible on screen repair. Tech guy came out to my job & said that it would take him 10 minutes to fix screen. I got my phone back within that time.

My laptop fell and the screen was damaged. I put a claim in and expected the worst. But they fixed it within 7 days and that’s including having to wait for a part for the laptop. They texted and emailed me every detail so I didn’t need to check the status on the website. Very satisfied and would recommend them to family and friends.

Phone was stolen in Milan, Italy. When I returned I filed a claim through Verizon. While a replacement was not immediately available, Asurion offered to make a substitution which I declined. They kept me informed every few days to give updates on the backorder. To sum up, Asurion's execution and communication were extremely professional. I was very pleased.

The only thing I was disappointed on was. It took too many days for me to get my replacement phone, so I was phoneless on a family trip I took. I figured with the high deductible I paid my phone would have been overnight. I have zero pictures of my daughter's school Zoo trip. Other than that good service.

My iPhone screen shattered and the next day a repairman came to my office and repaired it. Cost $29.00. Was a painless experience. I was extremely impressed with the service and would highly recommend this service. Superior to schlepping down to the apple store and visiting the Genius Bar.

I explained what happened to my phone, it met the requirements and after paying amount that was due, my replacement phone was shipped. Received next business day, the damaged phone was returned in a prepaid envelope and I received an acknowledgment of receipt of the phone via email. Real smooth process.

They kept me up on emails prior to coming. Tech came and knocked the 1st phone out, the 2nd phone he did break. But they sent a replacement the next day. A lil inconvenience but it was ok. I have some friends that have asked me about it and have recommended them.

Although it took just over a week to have an appointment, once the tech arrived, it only took 30-45 minutes. I even got my battery replaced. He did a diagnostic scan to make sure there was no other damage. Before he left he made sure my phone was working properly.

The Verizon guys were great, yours not so much. Was told that I would get my phone that day by Asurion rep, then turned into an email within 24 hours and the same questions asked again. Even the supervisor could not explain why. Commitment should be honored.

Noticed my iPad screen was cracked and contacted Asurion through Verizon. Asurion quickly sent a message explaining the steps to replace my iPad. The process was simple and my replacement arrived within days, including the packaging to return my damaged iPad. What a great service and I am glad I signed up for it.

Getting my phone exchanged was quick and relatively easy. I was back up and running within an hour of starting a restore. I did have to turn my phone lock off in order to complete the restore. It quit twice while restoring. I tried turning off the auto lock and then it restored without failing.

Verizon gives me your number to contact to start the claim, and your recording says to do it online. I go online, and the process is so confusing that I didn't realize it was not submitted and it takes me 2 more days to find out my phone isn't even on the way yet. Your online process tells me to erase my old phone prior to getting my new one, or I might get charged. Shame on you. It took me HOURS to pull my info out of the cloud and transfer to my new phone. NOTHING should be this complicated. And then I find out about the deductible.

I have used Asurion in the past, and once very recently. Both times my issues were resolved, and honestly both times beyond my expectations. Also this time I used Asurion was easier than the last. They keep getting better, thank you. The repair company however it felt the customer service was lacking, this may or may not have any reflection of Asurion's choice of repair company. The technician that did the repair however was friendly professional and kind. He did an awesome job and very timely. He made for a very good experience. Overall great customer experience.

What can I say but “wow”. I have always been hesitant purchasing mobile insurance but we decided to get it for my husband’s phone since he works around water. Well of course that phone went into the water and I was able to get him a new phone within 24 hours to my door without having to talk to anyone over the phone! Super impressed!
