    I am fair----you are getting a 2 star rating, NOT for the service, but for the device. The service was 5 star. The device is 1 star, hence it averages out to 2 stars rounded down. Obviously, this "insurance" is to swap out "refurbished devices" (that's how you make your money--and that's no problem---). I pay 200 deductible and you take my old phone and fix it and give it to somebody else and you give me someone else's phone that you fixed. Problem is that the device you sent me has two battery problems. [1] First it "drains" at a rate 2x faster than the old Z fold 3 that I had--and I know that I'm using it in the exact same way as the old phone in terms of the extent of apps and usage. Perhaps more irritating and disturbing is that [2] the battery heats up to a degree that it gets too hot, and warm so that it feels like something is wrong. Therefore, you did NOT quite "fix" the replacement device that you sent me --that's why I have to ding this service.

    I never bother to write reviews. However, the insurance claim process with Asurion has been the most painful and difficult experience I have had with an insurance company hands down. It is well worth my time to warn other people about it. The amount of time it took with phone calls, using Asurion's website and the back and forth with Verizon took at least 10 hours of my work time up. One of the Asurion techs even hung up on me.

    I dropped my phone cracking the front screen. At the time I filed my claim I did not realize the rear glass was cracked as well. Whenever they contacted me to do the repair at home they asked if the rear glass was cracked. I took my case off and stated that it was. They told me they could not repair the phone but offered a replacement phone. The deductible was reasonable. The phone arrived very quickly. I did not return my old phone because it was only a $30 charge so now I have a phone with a cracked screen that still works fine and a brand new one.     An error was made on the shipping and getting it fixed was a nightmare. The error was due to a rep putting in the wrong address. After we had gone over we were out of town on business and need it shipped to a hotel. We were told this would not be an issue by a clerk at a store and your phone rep. Getting this fixed was horrible due to the customer service. They did not listen to the issue and transferred us to a rep that was so confused why we went to his department he tried to get us help this is after being disconnected in transfer process beforehand. We were Then sent to Escalations. That was a big joke. I felt like I was talking to a snotty immature teen who thought it was funny just trying to make me more upsets. I began to question if co works were sending us to each other, trying to frustrate us.

    At this point we drive back to the store, where they were no help. So you take my money every month and provide Inadequate Customer service and have providers sell your servers (suggesting it actually) then can not help a paying customer. This was the worst experience mainly due to how your company responded to the error made on your behalf. I felt like we were entertainment for your employees who wasted so much of our time.

    I’m happy to carry insurance on our phones but your customer service is horrible! We have talked to other companies thinking of switching to find out you are what they offer as well. If someone else starts a phone insurance company and is kind helpful & knowledgeable. I believe your company will quickly decline not only from my experience but the lack of faith I found in talking to stores clerks who sell your insurance. I hope this helps you be aware so you can better your business. I pay for your services and you are paying employees who are not helping your company. I highly recommend you find our call and listen for yourself.

    This phone was not even 3 weeks old. I had to completely reset up my phone AGAIN because of the junk you send. I had to set up the first phone 3 weeks ago because the phone was damaged when the screen was replaced. It is so frustrating to get your phone totally set up only to have it fail. Not only that, but the Verizon technician who altered something on my phone (in the system) but denied that is what caused the problem said I would get my phone the next day, but Asurion won't ship to deliver on Sunday so I was without a phone for more than 2 whole days. Verizon employees in the store I went into also said that Asurion would send me the phone with next day delivery. You need to get your stories straight.

    I called to make an insurance claim. The representative did what they should have done and offered me the home protect. I declined it very clearly. I said no. Thank you and get a text message the next day thanking me for adding home protect. This is illegal and unethical. I was very clear in that I did not want the product and the person who processed my insurance claim added it. Anyway, they should be fired. I understand metrics and needing to hit goals as I do this for a living too. But this type of unethical behavior should not be tolerated in my job and interactions with your other representatives from an inside perspective. I do know that you don't keep very clear records on who helps who and who does what, but maybe you should start stealing from a customer in order to hit. Your numbers is wrong and I would fire any of my agents immediately for doing just that.

    Around 30 days ago, we replaced a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 using Asurion insurance after paying the deductible. The other day, the device started malfunctioning. The touch function on the top half of the screen above where it flips no longer works. In addition, there is a thick black line, probably about a ¼ inch across the screen where it flips. After contacting Asurion, I was told that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 was not covered under the 12 month warranty and that if I wanted to have replaced that I would have to pay the full deductible.

    This experience was great! I actually had to call in and when I explained my situation she told me my LCD was effected and my phone would probably need a total replacement.     We've had to fill claims on all 3 phones. One of the phones just needed the screen fixed, the guy had the phone for over a hour just to bring me back a paper weight because he fried the motherboard or something and directed me to call customer service. Then I had to wait until someone got home to use their phone since he killed mine. Asurion still charged me even tho it was them who made my phone unusable. And then I was without a phone because of them. Otherwise we have had no issues.

    The process was quick, I received the phone the next day. The instructions stated that I should keep the new sim card in place and send the damaged phone back with its original sim card. That did not work so I used my old sim card in the new phone and that worked perfectly. Otherwise the new phone appeared brand new and was easy to transfer all info between the phones using Samsung Smart Switch. It took a few hours and worked really well with a USB-C cable connecting both phones. I have over 2,600 pictures and a ton of videos so that's why it took so long.

    I broke the screen in my S21 Ultra and went to Asurion for an insurance repair. They did a great job with the repair and I have had no functionality issues at all since the repair. The 3 star review is because I had to go to three locations to get the repair done. The first location didn't have the part or the equipment to fix it. I called the second location to verify that they had the part and they confirmed that they did but they had used them all by the time I got there. The location that did the repair had the part and put it aside for me when I called. Bottom line is that you need to call and verify that they have the part you need and ask them to hold it until you get there. Overall, I'm satisfied with the repair.

    Service was great. The filing process was super convenient and easy. Phone showed up with good instructions on how to change over from the old one and how to return the new one.
