So this was my first experience with Asurion, I called and explained my situation. There was a fee to pay then the phone was ordered and my stolen phone was replaced and arrived in the next two days and was the exact same phone. Thanks!

Awesome service. The young lady was very nice & extremely knowledgeable. She made our visit extremely pleasant. She definitely deserves a promotion! I will definitely be going back there again. We truly wish she could get that promotion because she’s one in a million!

Service was good. They had to ship new phone and was a little disappointed that it took longer than expected to get here. We made appt for next day service but phone was out of stock. This was for my grandson and you know teens can’t live w/o a phone.

I was told on the phone by an Asurion employee to reject delivery for a shipped replacement phone after my employee found their lost phone. UPS left the package on the front porch and so I called back in to Asurion to check what I should do and was told to have the phone returned to a UPS store and to reject the delivery there. The UPS employees were skeptical and so we triple checked. I even asked if we should open the box and/or ship the phone back with tracking and was told not to. Then after the fact I was told that Asurion would not refund my money or follow the process outlined by your staff.

I pay for full coverage every single month for 5 lines and had to still pay for replacing the phone. Worst service ever! Five days later, phone was still not processed or shipped! After shipping, needed help with lost transferred files. Was told it was not their problem!

Easy to contact and the directions were very easy to follow to send back the broken phone and when I received the replacement the instructions to set it up were simple. Getting a notice that they received the broken phone was a great perk too ..

I had cracked my screen while at work. I filed a claim and was given a 7 day window to take it to the location specified (there were options to have someone come to you or meet in a public place but I chose taking it to the physical location). I was able to get a new screen put on for only $30. Phone was like new again and it only took a couple hours.

Your tech service rep hung up on me, when this refurb phone that is my replacement, all of a sudden lost all the contacts. She was unable to help and told me that this is a known problem with Android phones. This phone is crap. It already lost my contacts once with no way to restore them. Your service is terrible.

iPhone SE 2022 local store did not have OEM screen available. Had to ship phone out, although turn around time was great. Had to get new phone instead of screen repair, they did not say why??? Very difficult to speak with a rep when calling. New phone works good, as it should!

I chose to take my iPhone to local UbreakIfix location for screen repair on a Sunday. I dropped off at 9:30 and was told two hour guarantee. Went and got my oil changed and did a few errands, returned an hour and a half Later and it was done. Looks and works brand new.

The claim process was fast and easy to process and I got my new phone quickly. The only thing that would of made it better is if I could have taken my phone somewhere to have the screen fixed. I opted for a new phone only because I can not be without a phone for 3 days because of my job.

The iPhone 7 replacement through either the microphone or speaker is not heard from the other end or words are broken up. The iPhone has to be closer to the internet modem to be connected unlike the iPod reception that is farther away.

The insurance policy on my account made it easy for me to replace my phone with the same model for minimum cost. The replacement phone was sent to me within 48 hours of requesting it. I was given adequate time to transfer all of my data from the old phone to the replacement phone.

I was on a motorcycle road trip and lost my phone. After 3 different Verizon store stops, finally got through to you. Got cut off in mid-sentence speaking with your rep and she sent the phone to my home in Arizona instead of my next hotel in the middle of a cross country trip. No phone! Terrible service! I will not use your insurance again and recommend to everyone I know that your service is terrible. Oh, and the phone you sent me had nothing but issues and I had to repeat the process. Thanks for ruining and not helping me on a road trip.

This company make it their business to get you satisfied with what the customer wants for the amount of money they're spending to have the plan like this. I felt like I was being treated fairly with what happened to my IPad but someone else may have went to the extreme and not be as understanding as me but either way it turned out to be a good outcome and now I have to purchase to purchase another product.

While on a trip We had 2 of our phones get water damaged and cracked. Both phones needed to be replaced and we had to file two claims. Services was fast, efficient, and helpful. Blacked out screen was the problem with my phone. Exchange time was slow. I thought I would have the replacement phone next day delivery. Plus $129 deductible seemed high after paying $7.50 monthly for 2 years? But what do you do? I discovered I could have had the screen replaced for $100 locally. Thanks anyway

Quick service and fast shipping. Restore was quick and easy. Submitted a claim online which was also very simple to follow. Put claim in on Sunday night and had new phone by Tuesday. I would recommend that this coverage be purchased along with your new phone.

I placed a claim on June 24th 2022 and was given a appointment but nobody contacted me after I waited & then I get a text saying the van was broke down & rescheduled only to have the same text sent after waiting again! I paid for my lost/stolen phone & to have a screen fixed on the other. Several years back my phone was destroyed and I paid the outrageous deductible only to have them charge me $500 more which I didn't see until several months later! I haven't had one good experience with your company & I want my phone fixed that I paid for & a refund for the $500 charge that should have never been charged to my account!
My business has paid for your insurance since 2017 and I'm VERY unhappy! No calls, no updates, no communication whatsoever except a text later in the day after I wasted 2 days waiting & was completely disrespected!! This service is unacceptable & unsatisfactory on every level! I want a high level supervisor to contact me & not someone that knows absolutely nothing & cannot resolve this issue! I have numerous friends with your insurance and if this isn't corrected asap I will go to every review site, look into legal action, and tell everyone we know to leave your company for one that will actually take care of their customers!! The service part was great, but trying to push me into protection for my home devices was not cool. I was asked 3 times, and the first time I said No it should have been dropped. Each time I was asked why I denied the extra coverage.

Overall an easy claim process. I had one issue where it didn't appear that my return damaged item was received, but I had the tracking and turns out it had been and was able to take care of this over the phone. That was the only true hiccup in the experience.

After finally realizing that the phone they sent in June for the replacement should not have been pre-paid, they were quick in getting a new phone out to me to correct this issue. The phone was sent immediately and received the very next day. My only concern is having nobody available to help set up the item if you are trying to set up late in the evening.

My screen was cracked. Asurion sent me a defective replacement 2 days later. I called them back and they sent another replacement device 2 days later. This one is fine. How can they sent a refurbished replacement that is defective, when it was supposed to be like new. Someone had to have noticed.

I had really Quick service and an easy exchange. I appreciate how fast it was for me to get a new phone. Kind of sad I couldn't just get the screen fixed. That used to be an option. It is as easy to track the phone online as well as the return of the old phone. I wish it was still $50 instead of $130 to get the replacement phone.

I submitted a claim about a week and a half ago asking about my phone to be replaced because I was run over by a moving vehicle. I kept receiving emails saying they would contact me within 24 hours and have not been contacted at all this week. I phoned in and submitted a claim request with all the required documents and Melissa, on the Asurion team, was very rude in stating that there is nothing she can do. She even had the audacity to laugh with a colleague while I was on the phone thinking that my claim was a joke but I need a phone because I am leaving country within this month. I will definitely be switching from Telus as they are terrible to their customers and think that our problems are just a joke.

Replacement and process were great. My wife likes the phone and getting it went quickly. We did have a delay in returning the old phone as my wife developed covid but we got the phone sent back after Asurion granted an extension. Great company and great people to work with. Although the rep indicated that my wife would get a new phone and not a refurbished phone.

My mom got a replacement phone that wasn't unlocked for Verizon. I spent over 3 hours on chat (office was closed) trying to figure out why it didn't work, and another hour the next morning on the phone with a live person. She eventually had to take the phone to Verizon. The employee figured it out (not uncommon he said - happens frequently), called Asurion, and the lady wouldn't help - she wouldn't even let him talk to a supervisor to get the situation done and over with right then and there, so he had to submit another claim in order to get a replacement for that one.
I had to call in AGAIN, making it my 5th hour on the phone, and I was told I needed to give my card to place a temp charge of $425 if the locked phone wasn't returned. I said I was absolutely not going to be held accountable for something that was out of my control. I waited to speak to a supervisor for a while before she finally got on and sent me the replacement without my card info. Just an absolute horrible experience. Such an unnecessary headache especially for people who work a full-time job... The last thing they want to do is go home and spend the entire evening on the phone with customer service. We dropped our coverage due to this experience.

Received replacement phone within a day and it was better than my previous phone that got destroyed. I would definitely suggest to any to use Asurion for the cell phone insurance. I was very pleased with everyone I spoke to at Asurion and they were sympathetic to my needs.

Woman who handled my defective phone due to a swollen and malfunctioning battery that Verizon customer service would not replace and over 2 years mailed me replacement phones 4 times with no batteries. They told me it is illegal to mail phones with batteries!! I hate being lied to. Asurion mailed me a replacement immediately. The new phone works perfectly. I could not receive calls on my old phone!!

I broke my phone on a Tuesday or Wednesday. I called on Friday morning and reported it broken. On Saturday during the day my new phone showed up. I was amazed. I went to the Verizon store. They captured all of my information and transferred it to the new phone.

There was confusion about the replacement process. I spoke with about 4 or 5 different customer service representatives that gave misleading information. They were telliing me that my replacement phone was being shipped. I would wait for days but no phone. This went on for weeks. Finally after calling back and speaking to the 6 representative (I can't remember her name) she told me I had to pay the co-pay first. No problem, I paid it and got the phone the next day. I got a replacement within a couple days, I still don't think that as a customer and what we pay for the ins, and a deductible that we should be getting a used phone back, the deductible is also pricey. Other than that it all went good.

Every time I have had to Asurion it has been GREAT! And I have had to use it a lot! I have dropped, ran over, mowed over crushed with tractor, dropped in pond and so on Hopefully this new phone won't have any accidents! You deliver so fast and I really appreciate it and will likely recommend you. But.... Who does your technical writing? Because I think you just grabbed somebody from "Accounts Receivable" and told them to do their best. On Step 1 and Step 2, DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN WHAT IS THE *OLD PHONE* AND THE *NEW PHONE*. I have had to help three people now because your instructions just forgot to include that piece of information. Did anybody check this? Seriously, read it. Read it like you're a person who doesn't work at Asurion. Then read it again. And tell me if your random, generic customer can decipher which phone they are supposed to be applying these instructions to. You state have both phones on, then from there it's anybody's guess which phone you're referring to.

I think the deductible is a little high but overall happy. I think with me paying for the group plan the deductible could be lower no matter the brand. I was gonna do a claim on my daughter's stolen Apple xr but the price of the phone face value is less than the deductible so I chose to pay off a "free" device and purchase a new one. That shoulda have been something we could have compromised too since she can't remember apple if it's a bad brand for her to get a different phone of equal value!

The fact that I was able to book my appointment online for the tech to come out to my home, THE BEST! Not to mention, he communicated well and effectively and was prompt with fixing my screen. I made a claim and paid online. Was charged on my credit card within days. The phone never came. Tried to contact you all but the website did not have an option to report and there was no other way to contact Asurion. I had to complete transaction by using a chat with Verizon that took about an hour and it was still several days before the phone arrived. Ended up buying another phone from Amazon that arrived next day. So long story short I now have 2 phones and a bad taste. My other transactions with Asurion in the past were much better.

This was sensational. The tech was in contact on the way to my house and was very friendly and knowledgeable. He arrived, I handed him my phone and he took it and went to his van, which was parked outside my house. He fixed my cracked screen within a half hour. It is honestly the most efficient service you can have. And, I should mention that he was cautious and careful about social distancing. Very glad that I had this service plan!

Why is this system dependent on you being able to reach someone by phone WHEN YOU DAMAGE YOUR PHONE?! I spent 4 hours at Verizon unable to speak to someone because of the automated system? Why can't you reach a person by phone when there's an issue with their automated system? Why does the system say your claim is under review and someone will let you know about getting a new phone, but then nothing until a phone just turns up? These companies think efficiency is removing touch points between people will help, but it doesn't.

Asurion was the only positive experience in a very frustrating process. Every Asurion person I spoke with seemed to go above and beyond to try to make this a success. UPS made everything SO difficult, and were so unfriendly. Asurion was just the opposite. An Asurion worker even went on a 3 way call with me and UPS to help facilitate delivery. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to Asurion for going above and beyond. I wish that I had the name of the last gal I worked with--she did the 3 way call and truly made everything happen!

The work done on my phone is great. I don’t have any problem with the end result. However getting there was borderline miserable. To begin, I live downtown and work downtown. The nearest store is 30 minutes away. That alone is totally obnoxiously inconvenient. But then I was told I would have to get the phone there by 4:30 to guarantee that it would be done that day. I left work an hour early and literally got there at 4:31… Was told they could not guarantee that it would be done that day. They close at seven. I went back shortly after six to see if it would be ready by seven, and it was already done. Not sure if the guy I talked to just isn’t customer service minded or what, but I did a lot of stressing about something that clearly I did not need to be stressed about.

Completely useless service. They make you jump through so many different hoops for simple claims and then tell you they don't cover your device through loopholes. Insurance claims on $100-$300 products shouldn't take more time to do than Auto insurance or home insurance, but here we are.

I put in a claim for a cracked screen. The technician replaced the screen and broke the microphone in the process. I ended up having to put in a new claim and buy a new phone. I was charged for the screen $29 and $229 for a phone because the tech broke the microphone.

I wanted to discuss replacement options for my damaged phone, but could only reach a computer voice or fixed web page options. I was surprised that a replacement phone for my 5 year old Samsung Note 8 was $230, while its trade-in value was only $10. Actually, it was $0 since the phone was non-functional after an accidental dip in the pool. It would have been nice to have the option to upgrade to a newer phone for that much money.

I have an Asurion plan for my refrigerator. My fridge went out and I contacted them. They set me up with an appointment through one of their providers for a date two days later. That provider contacted me and said he couldn't get to it for another week. I contacted Asurion again and they set me up with another provider for a day later than the original date, which wasn't too bad. But that morning while waiting for the appointment I decided to contact the provider. They stated they rejected the appointment because their tech was out with COVID....but no one notified me.
Then I contacted Asurion once again and they said they could send out another provider...in a week!!! I have a wife and two boys to feed and no place to store my food and can't go without a fridge for another week. Completely unprofessional if you ask me!! If I am paying for a service I expect you to provide me with that service and not keep sending me providers that can't do it and then not notify me.

I put in an insurance claim for my cell phone to have the screen replaced for my Samsung Note 20 5G Ultra (x5040). After my screen got replaced, my phone SIM was not working. I called AT&T, they sent me a new SIM, but it didn't work. I went into the AT & T store, they replaced the SIM again, but that didn't work. AT&T told me to go back to Asurion as it should be under warranty because they physically fixed the phone last. I called Asurion, the lady over the phone put my DEVICE as STOLEN/LOST instead of Malfunctioning so that it can be covered under warranty replacement. My Asurion account got flagged for misappropriate use and they denied my claim stating that my device was in-fact being used when the claim was put in as lost.
My cell phone only works on Wi-Fi which is why it was used, but the Asurion rep put it in the claim inappropriately. I put in 2 more claims, all got denied even though the REP fixed the issue from LOST/STOLEN to MALFUNCTION from Repair. I escalated to the manager who told me a different story as to why my claim got denied and was unable to tell me why my account got flagged. I escalated to the Asurion OFFICE of CEO, they were unable to tell me specifically why my account was flagged for inappropriate use. They told me to look in the TERMS and CONDITIONS myself to find out why it was flagged rather than telling me what the problem is and how I violated it.

Phone techs were good. Made notes and told me to go to store for additional service. Store declined to view notes. I told them I wasn't leaving until needed service was performed. Was disappointed at seeming indifference to helping when I was doing as phone techs directed.

I received what looks like a new phone, only It was not in its original Samsung packaging so I'm not certain. The device works great. I was not able to delete the info from my old device before returning it because of the broken screen, so I hope the information was safely deleted.

I liked how fast and easy it is. The only thing I would change is the instruction for the mailing back. Maybe get it in to an actual post office and not the blue mailboxes. The usps is very unorganized and lost one phone before. Therefore I had to pay the 300 dollars.

The rep told me that they would do the same day shipping, even one day shipping was okay but the agent had no control over it. In the end the replacement phone was unusable, and I traded it in for an upgrade. Not only that, the Asurion repair place I was told to take it to told me my phone was mislabeled. It was not even the iPhone6S plus that I had exchanged it for. It simply was mislabeled by Asurion.

We had an incident where my daughter dropped her Gizmo watch when trying to put it on after charging it and the glass face shattered. The process to get a new watch to replace it with Asurion was seamless and easy. The only hiccup was that the color she had was out of stock for a while, but Asurion emailed me every third day to tell me the status. Then when it was available, they had me finalize my choice, pay the deductible and the new watch came quickly and boxed like new. They also included a stamped envelope to return the old one. I did question whether I should return the charger or not, but a quick call to their 800 number had me speaking to a knowledgeable rep and I was on my way! 100% would recommend getting coverage for your kids through Asurion!

Tried to contact someone about a screen replacement and they would only replace the device. So I paid the "deductible" for a new device only to later find out by looking around that I should have just went and bought a new phone (same one) from ANYONE else for the same cost and been able to keep my device. Why pay insurance when all they made me do was pay full current price for the phone and made me give back the old one which I paid for already.

Replaced stolen hub. Overnight shipped. While I was hospitalized relative of homeowner removed my items and boxed them. It wasn't until I was out of wheel chair I was able to go through boxes. The HUB was not there. WORKED as soon as I could program it.

Asurion is a dishonest organization masquerading as an extended warranty company. They refused to honor their No Lemon Guarantee; even after LG Service told them our unit was unserviceable. Nothing but a scam. No wonder The Home Depot severed all ties with them.

Very difficult to get hold of anybody with any type of knowledge. Was passed around from one person to the next. After spending hours and hours on the phone was very unhappy with the service, took a total of four or five days of calling to finally find somebody that had a clue of what was going on. Probably spent a total of 5 hours on the phone trying to accomplish a simple replacement. Terrible. Terrible customer service.

Did not receive an equal value thermostat as a replacement. I was not given enough to replace the one that broke and was told I need to find one cheaper or on sale by the agent. When I signed up I was told all replacements would be equal to what You have or the next step up.

Was terrible. Took me 6 weeks to get a new phone because they were never available to fix my phone and when I scheduled a tech to come fix it they never showed up. Then they basically told me sorry about my luck then had to pay 220.00 to replace it instead of 29.00 for screen because I was tired of the runaround. I am currently looking into sams club protection plan and plan to leave Asurion.

I spoke with an Asurion representative regarding a home plan that I repeatedly stated that I did not want. Not only did the representative continue at her attempt to extort me, she ignored my request to cancel this plan that I did not add to my cart in the first place. It was only when I got the monthly bill from Verizon that I realized I was being charged. This was a fraudulent charge and the customer service was outrageous.. If this had not been caught early on, I would've been well within my rights to pursue legal action against this company.

I ordered a replacement and was delivered 3 empty boxes each time. Was later told I would receive a check instead after I returned damaged phone. The entire process took 3-4 weeks and multiple phone calls just to be told different things needed to be filled out each time. It should have taken 1 week at the most and should not have been that difficult to have the phone replaced. I am not happy with the situation I was put into.

Repair tech came out the next day after I filed an online claim - it broke during repair so it was replaced free of charge. Once I contacted them for the replacement it was sent out and I had it in a day or two. Everything went very smoothly. I appreciate the communication during the process as well.
