    I was not happy that AT&T required me to mail my phone off for a number of days. However, Asurion made it exceedingly easy for me to do so. I received an envelope with the label already attached, dropped my phone in, sealed it with the pre-applied adhesive strip, and gave it to UPS.     Updated on 06/30/2023: I sent a review in October of last year after getting my 2 year old laptop replaced. I spent $600 and lost more than a week of work because the original screen they ordered had a crack in it so I had to wait for another screen. Following the replacement, my laptop screen doesn't wake up when opened. It sometimes takes up to 6 or 7 times to get it to wake up so I can work. In addition to that, when replacing the screen, the wire that connects me to the internet is now in the way of the hinge when opening my laptop. They claimed it shouldn't affect anything, but I am seeing my laptop lose wifi frequently in the middle of work. At least once a week and recently it is only getting worse.

    After their response in DECEMBER, I reached out to them privately to come to an agreement and I have not heard back since. I will continue to complain about this company until they refund me the full cost of my screen replacement. Obviously, I will need that money to pay for a new laptop since I don't want them touching any of my electronics ever again.

    Original Review: I brought my laptop in because my screen was flickering and needed to be replaced. When they got the new screen, it had a crack in it, so I had to wait another week for a new one. The technician also started hearing a clicking sound when opening the laptop which wasn't there before. She said it was the wifi antenna getting in the way. Which makes me uncomfortable since I use my laptop for work. Once I paid for the repairs and took it home, I noticed quickly that the battery drains much quicker and the screen doesn't wake up as it should 50% of the time. I took my laptop in for one problem and brought it home with three new ones.

    DO NOT GET A WARRANTY WITH THIS COMPANY IF YOU LIVE IN THE ORLANDO, FLORIDA AREA. I have received daily text messages each day for 14 days straight stating I need to be rescheduled. I have been through 4 technicians who all misdiagnose the repair needed. 1 day that I was on the schedule the tech did not show up nor did I receive a phone call stating he would not be able to make it to my home.     Verizon phone insurance is sold to customers and not honored through Verizon. It is a third party company called Asurion and they do not honor their own policies without a $250 payment for replacement of phones. Paid over $1000 in insurance on my phone for them to demand payment for more money. It seems Verizon shouldn't con customers into something that is of no help to their customers.

    Purchased insurance for a 12 x 12 pop up through Dick's Sporting Goods. About a month after we purchased it a storm damaged it and we filed a claim, Asurion refused to cover the damage and said they would email us with their reason for denial. Email never came and when we called they said to refer to the email. We explained it never came and they said it would come soon, 3 weeks later we still have not received an email or a reason for the denial. We will never purchase this insurance again.

    Had cracked screen. Told me send in phone and pay 29 dollars. Ship me a new phone. Seems easy. First it's not a new phone. It's refurbished. Second they then charged me 220 dollars few weeks later. After spending hours to actually get live person. I was told oh the screen and back both cracked. So deductible is 250 total! Never any notification. Just 220 charged to my card. And obviously if I knew it would be 250 I would have simply gotten screen fixed myself. Extremely misleading and deceptive.

    I needed a simple screen replacement. First, I couldn't secure my information on my phone without factory resetting my phone since the tech required the pass code. The obstante store representative assured me my data was safe since he makes 6 figures and could care less what's on my phone. Extremely tacky. Second, nine days later with no further accidents with the phone, the back of my phone fell off in my hand. When I called to have it fixed I was told to file another claim and pay the deductible. I inquired about the 60 day repair warranty and was told it didn't apply in this case because the water droplet sign shows it got wet. The phone I purchased specifically because it was water resistant. After explaining that the whole back was off the phone which would make it extremely susceptible to moisture I again was told it wasn't their problem and I would need to file another claim.

    After further research and contacting Verizon and Samsung, both who I feel wanted to help but couldn't because Asurion had a claim to the phone. The phone being less than a year old and built to be water resistant would have qualified for a FREE replacement through Verizon under Samsung warranty, instead of me paying a deductible and getting my phone further destroyed by the techs. Also, I could send my phone to Samsung who would repair it to original new specs. Because it had a claim through Asurion they couldn't use warranty but even after that for less than my deductible was with Asurion they'd repair my phone back to me specs and warranty their repair. Asurion assured me even if I filled a new claim and they repaired the back (which they broke) the phone still wouldn't be water resistant like advertised.

    In the future, I will not purchase insurance. I will rely on my phone warranty, that's why I go with brands I trust in the first place, and I will never be talked into handing my phone to a stranger with my information on it.

    I was offered an option to replace my device to a S21 Ultra, however they delivered a lower spec S21 Plus. After calling the customer support and walking through the process with an agent I was again delivered a wrong S21 Plus device. When I called the last time on 10/03 and talked to Mary and Melissa (supervisor) they were really inflexible and unwilling to help, I was questioned if I did really select the S21 Ultra and told that the S21 Plus was better than my original device anyways.     No empathy from the CEO office. The customer service woman I spoke with was quite patient and friendly, actually dealing with way more misdirected anger than she should have. She even said she would have her daughter at Clemson promote my product. A saint that beautiful woman is, and to her I apologize. However, the company as a whole is unethical. I was guaranteed a replacement phone by the following morning, and it never arrived. I waited 8 hours, and I was locked out of everything because of 2-factor authentication. The "office of the CEO" said that their terms say up to 2 days - even though they use FedEx Priority Overnight, their site says next day, and their phone reps say next day. They get a refund if FedEx doesn't deliver the next day, but they do not pass it on to the customer. Nor do they refund the thousands upon thousands you pay if you never file a claim of course. The "office of the ceo" doesn't care one bit about you.

Until they needed more documentation...and then more...and then more. After multiple claims filed and denied due to lack of documentation and multiple phone calls, I was informed I needed to black list my phone with AT&T, so I did, and I waited...again. When I called back again 48 hours later, they informed me that I waited too long to black list my phone, so it was no longer eligible for replacement.     Phone screen replacement was quick and expertly done. But the techs broke the S pen for the phone and then denied responsibility. $30 for screen replacement, $50 for a new S pen, and 4 hours total of driving to have screen replaced and then get the pen removed from the phone. Will never recommend the Avon, IN location, nor will we use it again.

    I filed a claim to fix my cracked screen on my Iphone SE 2020. The technician named Bryan text messaged me to confirm his time of arrival. He took the phone to his vehicle and shortly after he returned. He fixed the cracked screen, however he said his mac book needed to be updated and now my home button (older Iphone still has the home button at the bottom) is not working. He downloaded a "home button" on the screen of the phone and said he would return tomorrow to fix his mistake. He said he had to take his mac book to have it "updated." At this time I became very skeptical, well honestly I was skeptical from the very beginning, because this gentleman arrived in a old t-shirt and his personal car and had no business card or attire that they worked for this company. I was fearful this was a scam and he had accessed my bank account and personal information.

    As I continued to check my credit card and bank account I waited for the next day where I messaged the technician about what time I could expect him to fix the home button. He messaged me back and said that unfortunately his "mac book has not updated yet" and he was unsure of his ETA. I assumed because of HIS problem with HIS computer, the company would send out another technician during the appointment time to fix the mistake he made. I waited but no one came. I then called customer service because the gentleman was no longer responding to my text messages. At this time I wanted a new technician and to confirm this man actually worked for this company. The representative was able to confirm his employment, but unfortunately he still had the claim as open and being processed and that he would arrive by the end of the work day. So once again I waited.

    By 5:00 he was a no show, so I once again called the customer service line to cancel that claim with that technician due to his lack of communication and unprofessionalism. The rep informed me that I had an upcoming appointment next Friday, but I did not schedule that appointment. Bryan took it upon himself to make that appointment without communicating with me to see if I was available that day and time. I am beyond annoyed at this time so again I ask this rep to cancel this claim so I can reschedule with another technician and at a different time. He then tells me I would have to call back 24 hours later to do so that he could not perform that request because again it is an "open" claim in "process". This whole experience has been awful! My phone is not functioning properly and all due to the technician not "updating his mac". This should not have become my problem! If you are in the Lynchburg Va area and you have a "Bryan", RUN!

    Great customer service, repairs done quickly. I used the option that they come to your house to repair my crack screen and it was the best experience. He did everything outside in his van. I just had to supply him with an electrical outlet for a power. He was very nice. I have incurable cancer and he knew so he didn't waste much time when he did come inside my home for things he had to handle with me and that was greatly appreciated.

    My husband had a broken screen on his phone and it was cutting his finger, so I contacted AT&T set up the repair, which happened right away there was no wait at all.
