I called. Was denied immediately. Told that I needed to contact a Chinese distributor for a product that I bought this insurance warranty in the event that this happened. I filed online. So far so good.... Yet to be seen if I'll get my claim fulfilled.

The first time I called to make a claim. I was given the run around. My tools were not repairable and I made it clear at that time. It took me several months to complete all that was asked in order to continue my claim. Thus kept me at a slow pace while working without my tools. My family suffered because I couldn't complete jobs as fast as usual. When I exhausted everything asked. The process was quick and simple. I'm thankful I have my tools replaced now. I would definitely recommend purchasing this plan.

I have purchased Asurion for all my electronics and never had any issues making a claim. When you have kids and grandkids accidents happen, so it pays off to have coverage. The customer service is also great for questions or technical support.

We had a problem with our LG washing machine and called for help. The technician arrived on time, was very knowledgeable about this machine and took time to explain what was wrong and how he would fix it. He did his business in a very professional manner, didn't waste any time in facilitating the repair and was on his way. No mess to clean up. He was wonderful.

Great service. Called in the morning regarding TV not working. It was picked up early afternoon and returned the following day in working condition. Don't think it could get any better. This is the second time I have used this service and both times the experience has been excellent.

Best service, when the service person came by he explained things, made great use of his time. He removed the dishwasher, showing & explaining why things weren't working. I am so glad we the warranty plan, and feel confident the issue is resolved.

Highly recommend this company and their protection plans. Asurion is one of the few companies that will say what they mean and do what they promise. Fast, reliable, easy to deal with and NO bait and switch tactics. My first experience with them I was skeptical, I filed a claim on my 20yr+ old plasma TV shut off. Within 2 hours I had been contacted and tech appointment scheduled (2 days later). TV could not be repaired and within 20- 30 minutes of TV repair tech calling me to let me know, I was picking out my replacement in an email and it was delivered to my door 2 days later. Initial filing of claim was on a Thursday, repair technician came to my house on Saturday, and the new TV was delivered on Monday. No hassle, just helpful.

My retailer recommended a protection plan and I agreed. I was skeptical when I filed a claim and was very surprised with how quick and easy the whole process was. I received a pre-paid shipping sticker and received a gift card for the replacement value within a few days. I will be sure to add protection on my next purchase.

The process was honestly almost too easy when I purchased my protection plan. I simply uploaded my receipt to their system with just one click, and simple, forgot about it. Once my product unfortunately got damaged I went onto their website, started a claim with all of the information already saved in their system and within 3 minutes I had the funds for my replacement product.

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator from Home Depot along with a three-year extended warranty plan. Over the course of two years, I have had to have my icemaker replaced five times. The first four service calls were from independent repair shops. All four icemakers failed. The fifth and last service call was from a Samsung representative who again, replace the entire icemaker. This was approximately two weeks ago and we have yet to see if it will hold up. If this icemaker fails I am going to demand a refund in full for the price of the refrigerator. My suggestion to anyone reading this comment., DO NOT buy Samsung products for your kitchen.

The online experience was a bit tricky because it didn't have the item or the item type on the drop down lists. They originally denied a valid claim but after I phoned it, everything went really smoothly. They had everything done within 24 hours! Glad I had a protection plan.

I would absolutely recommend Asurion! The treadmill worked very well and I was happy with it. However, for some reason the treadmill wasn’t working properly and I contacted Asurion and they could not have been better with helping me. They were super fast and refunded my money so fast!!! My 55-inch Samsung screen had a black spot right in the middle and every day that passed the black spot increased until it covered half the screen. They found a local repair company that came to my home to repair my oven that was purchased at Home Depot with extended 5-yr warranty. Throughout the maintenance of my Samsung Refrigerator I could ask this service representative questions and he would provide me with the best possible answer.
He was also punctual. Sitting in his vehicle waiting for me to get home. His work was done professionally on a timely manner then he cleaned up and removed all trash. He reassured me that my problem was solved after asking him if he thinks it was just the ice box. This gentleman demonstrated great customer service representing SAMSUNG and ASURION plus himself. The service tech was amazing! Fix my machine same day so happy with service. Not too happy with the hassle of setting up a service appointment. The first time I called to make the appointment the person at the call center recommended me to get a plumber and if the plumber doesn't help then call back to set up an appointment. Why would I do that if I'm already paying for LG warranty?

Bought a Fitbit in 2021 and got the 3 year warranty. Watch stopped working. I just went online and they sent me a text to file my claim. Easy return with no questions asked. Haven’t gotten the replacement yet so will update if/when that happens. But happy with the service and response.

Asurion was very prompt in resolving my issue with my printer that had malfunctioned. I reported the problem when it occurred and then I was directed to take several pictures of my printer. I was then directed to upload those pictures.... which I did. That same day... I was reimbursed for my malfunctioning printer. WOW, that was beyond my expectations. Bought a 12 volt kids jeep at Tractor Supply. After 2 1/2 months would not go forward. Asurion gave refund (e-card) for sales price $230 (not protection plan) BUT can Only use at TSC and wouldn't buy another one so now I'm stuck with nothing really I need from store.

No CUBED ICE PLUS WATER LEAKS INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE DISPENSER! Plus the amount is still limited that you can get even in slushy mode (crushed mode)?? NO CUBED AT ALL! This will the 5th visit for the ice maker alone. We've had 2 cracked shelves & a roller & bracket broke off the freezer drawer. My whole experience has been a nightmare. This fridge is definitely a lemon!

They said they'd help me! I called Asurion & they gave me full credit to buy a new one! Got a brand new one with more bells & whistles + extra ink & still have $.83 store credit! Yes, I got a new plan!

When the computer chair malfunctioned, we uploaded a picture of it along with the original receipt. We had a response within 24 hours we would receive a check in the mail and we had it within a week. Online process was very easy and we were kept updated by email.

Five years should equal 825 days, not 812 days which is what I originally was getting for warranty period. But they let me get my repair done anyway after Home Depot called them. Then service was excellent. Their warrant does not cover the fifth year of purchase date, but only the day before. Law changing in June 2023 to delivery date. Not purchase date. Much more fair warranty.

Extremely easy transactions and communications. The technician was friendly and communicated well in regards to arrival time and keeping us up to date on the repair. The service reflects the management. They are terrible at how they treat their employees. Never giving accurate information to their techs about the customer calls, sometimes giving the wrong information or device to the customer before they leave the hub, and then the tech and the customer are both left frustrated and confused all because they want to operate without inventory. Their call center is a joke and their managers are awful without ANY care to their techs safety OR well being. And if techs decide to follow COMPANY POLICY about their own safety - they are fired. PERIOD. END OF STORY. Three techs in my area in the last year. And Asurion will deny your unemployment claim. SHAM COMPANY. SHAM SERVICE. SHAM COVERAGE. Just by your warranty and your cell service coverage.

Both service personnel knew exactly what they were doing. The initial service person ordered the required parts for the issue. The follow-up service person had to install the required parts and he knew exactly what he was doing. When purchasing a refurbished computer from Amazon, I was offered to purchase protection insurance. After speaking with an Asurion representative, I was told that refurbished computers are not covered by the insurance and should have not been offered by Amazon. The representative moved this up to a higher level and I was contacted by another Asurion representative and was told that they would honor the policy anyways. I was sent a box to return the computer in 2 days, sent it in to be repaired and had it returned in 4 or 5 days. The computer is functioning perfectly. I am extremely satisfied with the service I received from the Asurion team. I will not hesitate to purchase product insurance from Asurion on future purchases if offered.

It was probably the best experience I had for this particular claim. From the moment I called Home Depot, everything was done in the best possible way. I called on a Monday and the appointment was set up for Wednesday. The expert texted me the same day to confirm the appointment, and to tell me the parts would be delivered by then.
I received the parts Tuesday and he arrived as promised on Wednesday and fixed everything as expeditiously as possible. He called me that morning and told me he was on his way and arrived as promised. It was a pleasant experience, and he was a very capable and responsible repair expert. I cannot say enough about the experience. Thank you, Home Depot, Asurion, and Andrew **, the repair expert.

Terrific technician who was knowledgeable and helpful to resolve our issues. He showed us how to clean the coils on the back of our fridge to help prolong its operation. He adjusted the doors that were initially installed a little out of alignment.

We had to jump through hoops going back and forth between Staples, Asurion and Lenovo. Staples told us the laptop was under the Asurion warranty and to contact them. We completed the online submission form for Asurion and got an auto reply that the laptop was still under warranty with Lenovo and gave a Lenovo number to call for service. We called Lenovo and we’re told it was no longer under warranty (2 years out of warranty) and we needed to contact Asurion.
My wife then called Asurion and was told that the automated message to contact the manufacturer is always sent to weed out submissions. That to me is a very deceptive practice and certainly not customer friendly. Once we established warranty with Asurion the rest of the process was simple. We got an immediate text to validate contact, followed by a prepaid shipping label. Once shipped it took 2 days to get there, 2 days to repair and 2 days to return. We were kept current with the process and all repair work was completed.

Everyone really went above and beyond in helping me with a warranty that had expired 2 weeks prior to my need, I was stressed and everyone took the worry out of it for me! I’m very happy with my claim experience. It was straightforward and very fast. I purchased a dehumidifier from Amazon that had a factory warranty for two years. I also purchased an extended warranty from Asurion for four years. The first one failed within the second year of the factory warranty and was replaced by the manufacturer. When the replacement failed, I was glad that I had bought a warranty from Asurion.

2. Didn’t consider the benefits of always being insured, even for the little things.
Seriously, this is a no brainer. You got to get a plan for each item, cause the worst feeling in the world is buying a product that 6 months down the line completely stops working, and you got to spend upwards of $100+ to get it replaced again. In the words of Shia - JUST DO IT. It’s easy to get reimbursed and you don’t have to jump through the normal hoops of returning items, cause asurion jumped through those hoops a long time ago. They are THE master circus performers. So, instead of performing with chance, and hoping your stuff ALWAYS gives you the best performance, (but somehow takes you literally when you call out “break a leg!”)…. CHOOSE ASURION, cause they’ll “Assure I’m on” the most satisfying path for my purchases. This was not sponsored…haha. I just really like what they do.

Too many service calls to get to the point where Asurion would replace the machine as per contract. Call Asurion to talk about the issue and get different people involved with different answer to our problem. Once it was decided upon to replace the machine, Asurion would issue a credit voucher to be used at Home Depot for a new washing machine. The machine was delivered on time and in good condition.

The only issue is I was given a wrong phone number to a company with the same name Bionik but this number was for a light dealership! Not the gaming dept ..but I was still able to reroute to the proper dept and received my refund promptly!

I made one phone call at 7:00 am. I spoke to Bonny (male). He put me on hold for 2 minutes and called LG Canada and when he returned I had my appointment made with the Appliance Service Company. He sent me my necessary emails. It was a very stressfree experience to that I’m very happy.

Process is EASY. Twice I have completed the process and it is well worth the fee. They keep my receipt info on record and when I am ready to turn in the glove for the gift receipt, I print the label they send me, place it in an envelope and give it to UPS. I receive an email with the egift card.

I am quite happy with Asurion appliance repair as they were able to fix an unusual problem with my Samsung washer that eluded another washer repair co. Asurion sent Connor who was the technician that was able to troubleshoot the problem after the first attempt failed. He did not try to dissuade me with my legitimate concern and complaint but worked to fix the washer properly and ultimately did with professionalism and skill! Thank you so much!

I recommend, whatever you buy at Dicks must have their warranty. Very easy to get things replaced trust it better than my car warranty!!!! My experiences have been many and to this day haven't had an issue with the warranty.

I’ve been working on getting a new phone through my insurance for the past 2.5 days. I do not have a working phone, which is why I need a new one. They are telling me that I need my phone to complete the process through iPhone settings, which is impossible. They are also saying I need to get into my email, but I do not know my password because I’ve used Face ID for so long. To reset my password I need a phone, because the retrieval is sent to my phone number.

Dryer was brand new, when hooked up and turned on it was off-center and making a thumping noise. Samsung would Not honor the warranty? Best buy would not accept a return after 15 days. Tech took the dryer completely apart, adjusted the drum and motor and the noise was gone.

Went to T-Mobile because phone stopped working. Had been paying $18 a month for protection, and, after 3 hours in the store, the T-Mobile employee filed a claim with Asurion. I was unhappy that I wouldn’t receive a replacement for 3 days… Get home to find an email saying claim not eligible. First Asurion rep goes into endless loop about needing correct IMEI from phone that won’t turn on, and my T-Mobile account now has the IMEI for the cheap temporary phone I bought while waiting for a replacement iPhone. Have spent the better part of 2 days trying to call them to resolve this. At least 5 different phone calls, frequently get disconnected, haven’t gotten through to a supervisor, and, even though they ask for a good call back number, nobody has called me back. Not sure what to do now, but really feel bad about spending an extra 20% for worthless “protection.”

I have never felt more frustrated than when I was dealing with Asurion to get a new phone. From the online process to the customer service that I called, nothing was helpful about this. They picked a time window to deliver me a new phone and completely blew that, no show no call. When I called about setting up a new window they didn't have any available except for the last one which "gets missed more often than I would like to admit" - Asurion customer service person. I then spent over an hour on the phone with them. You pay every month to have insurance but then you actually want to use it to get a new phone and you're stuck paying $275. Unfortunately, as the little guy you have no option against the big insurance companies, they just do what they want and make money off your hardworking paychecks. Just avoid them altogether and get the phone shipped to you so you don't have someone wasting your time.

I could not believe how great the service person was and how knowledgeable on not only my dryer but on the workings of my washer, my stove, my refrigerator. I found out that my high efficiency washer only needed about 2 table spoons of soap to clean the clothes properly. So I'll save on product cost and not have an abundance of soap left in my clothes. I think the process could be streamlined to only take 2 maybe 3 steps? Very tedious having to keep providing the same information. Step one, submit form, detailed explanation, and pictures. Step two, approval or denial. If approved, include repair process, i.e. take to repair center or mail in, and pay service fees at that time.

While it is really good that I had the warranty, however, I wonder if the HP copier would have been covered anyway since it was purchased 12/8/22 and the feeder to scan failed on 3/8/23. Neither tech support at Asurion or HP could resolve the issue over a two-day period and multiple attempts. The warranty didn't carry over to the replacement copier of the same make and model.

I would like to comment about one of the worst customer experiences and businesses I have had the displeasure of dealing with. My wife had left her phone on an airplane (our bad). I filed a claim and received a new phone and paid the $275. This happened pretty quick. A few months later the airline sent her phone back so I contacted Asurion to find out what should happen. They told me (I called 2 times and same answer both times) to send the replacement phone back and they would return my $275. Great.... However this is not how this went. I called AT& and an hr and a half later they were able to activate her original phone. This only lasted 2 hours and it was not working. So back on the phone for another 1hr plus same result. Called again....said to call Asurion. No help. I must have called Asurion like 5 more times (probably an hr each time) and then they told me I needed to call AT&T.
After 3 hours with AT&T I was finally made it to a supervisor who told me I had to send the replacement back phone back and they would then turn the lost phone on. This was the first time I had heard this in like 12 hours of phone calls so I waited another 45 min to speak with her manager. Argued with her for 20 min and she said as soon as we have a tracking number they would unblock the phone. Sent the phone in and called Asurion and spent a few hours trying to get this squared away....kept saying I had to wait till the phone was processed. (**) So I visited the AT&T store tried to help....no luck. The tracking number said to was delivered....so 5 days later I call Asurion they say the original phone is on the blocked list and can't be taken off and to go to the AT&T store and "they will give you a new phone." What the hell??
I need to talk to someone and the AT&T store here I come. I Explain to the guy for the 30th time my situation....(he was the most helpful) he talks to his manager and gets the number of the CEO help office and makes the call. Guy says nothing he can do. He can start a new claim where I would have to pay the $275 and get a replacement phone. So right back to where I was 10 days ago with a working replacement phone....WTF! The jerk acted like he was doing me a favor. I apparently wasted 20 hours of time and returned the replacement phone only to be put back to square 1. It is really the worst customer experience. The guy said if you had gotten him on the phone he could have told me that....
I guess you have to win the Asurion phone lottery or you will just get bad information that will cost you time and money. All in all I will have put in like 20 hours of **, explained myself 40 times to 30 different people, 3 trips to the AT&T store and all to be told, "We will try to submit your claim and let you know in 24 hours" and it will cost you $275. As of now paying for a phone that has not worked in 12 days. I could not be more displeased. It is not like there is a person that you can complain to because the last jerk I talked to was like "I'm the top guy to talk to" and did I still want him to put the claim in? That did not sit well with me. I will bad mouth this company to anyone who will listen. 0 STARS.

My I phone was cracked & wanted to get it fixed. Went to AT&T in Willowbrook and was beginning to feel like I was getting the run around. I ended up going to a bigger AT&T store and met Josh who was a true customer service person. His willingness & expertise truly calmed me down. Josh is great and I think the world would operate better with more Joshes in The world. He helped me to file my claim & the full process. Kudos to Josh.

Asurion sent my replacement iPhone to me in 1 business day. This was unbelievable. The refurbished phone was in excellent condition. Asurion employee Xavier at the ATandT store on McFarland Blvd. next to Midtown Shopping Center went on and beyond to be helpful in transferring my data to my new phone and explained other features about the phone which is very helpful to a senior citizen. Asurion also made it very simple to return my old phone back to them. I will recommend Asurion insurance to anyone without reservation or hesitation.

Asurion tech services were unable to fix my device due to water damages and I was given a new device for $39. I received my replacement device the next day. My experience overall was outstanding to say the least. I would highly recommend their services.

I was asked specific questions about the device so it would be done easily and quickly. But most importantly correctly the time. The device had fallen out of a pocket unknowingly then ran over. I am glad l purchased the plan to protect us from any accidental mishaps.

I enrolled in Asurion Home+ after a stop by a local repair shop for data recovery from a broken phone. While the recovery went smoothly, a couple months later I mentioned offhand my positive experience to a coworker who warned me about the company's reputation. I did not believe him at first but after doing some reading online I saw their terrible customer reviews and decided to close my account. Despite having to call in and talk to a representative for 15 minutes, I finally got him to conclude and close my account.
Almost a year later, when I was meeting with my financial planner to forecast my earnings and savings for the next year, he totaled my automatic monthly expenses and noted Asurion Home+ had still been charging me. At first I thought I had misremembered calling to cancel my subscription, but after checking my call logs with my service provider, there was a record of my call months prior. I called the helpline to insist on a refund of the fraudulent charges and I was dismissed with the claim that there was 'no record of me having called'- which is a blatant lie.

Keep asking me to resend the same information over and over. I've been making payments for 8 mos. Never made a claim. Now I'm having a hard time getting help with my device. I tried calling several times and all I get is we are experiencing technical issues, after I spoke to them yesterday. Seems they are trying to avoid helping me with this issue.

Filing the claim was easy. I did it all online. Made my apt and the next day I went in for repair. Quick easy fast! Very satisfied. I used the link from Att.com to file the claim. It took about 7 minutes total. The store I selected had 2 hours turnaround window, they even had screen protectors.

Bryan came to my house very fast and made sure to message me as soon as he could to tell me he would be there. He didn't miss a beat! He made me one happy customer! 10/10 would recommend you keep insurance on your phone. I don't care if you "are very careful" or whatever excuse you have. I said the same thing and still am happy I kept the insurance on my phone. Otherwise I would've had subpar service from some company not partnered with ATT or Asurion.

Our Samsung 65 inch LED TV is covered by this Asurion warranty through 1/2024. Our initial claim was submitted 6/2022. Since that time, there have been 4 unsuccessful service repairs for the same defect that to this day has NOT BEEN RESOLVED. The fourth "repair" was completed by a 3rd party contracted technician service called Definition Audio Video Corp. The technician replaced the motherboard with a used device that still had the previous owner's names and passwords loaded which blocked us from watching some of our streaming services that we pay for each month, and this is the FOURTH replacement of a motherboard that did NOT fix the original complaint.
On 1/31/23 we AGAIN contacted Asurion to report this issue and request replacement of the TV per the No Lemon Policy in the warranty which reads "After three service repairs for the same defect have been completed on an individual eligible product under this plan, and the individual product requires a fourth repair, as determined by us, we will provide you with a replacement product." On 2/3/23 we found out this claim #1686236741 was denied by the same 3rd party contractor who fraudulently placed the used motherboard, who had no knowledge if the TV was actually repaired.
Another Claim #** to at least replace the defective used motherboard was also denied by the same technician who was is practicing fraudulent business practices. Claim #1687230085 was opened 2/3/23 to again report/replace the used motherboard. We called back on 2/6/23 because again we heard nothing from them. We had to open ANOTHER claim #** for the same issues. Asurion is absolutely NOT honoring the promises in this warranty, nor do they intervene with dishonest contractors. An important point is that Asurion does not call or schedule services as promised. It requires constant phone calls from us to get any information. We have heard nothing from Asurion since 2/6/23. This TV should be replaced per the NO Lemon Policy!

It was an easy process. We received the tablet in under a week. The model we previously had was older and they no longer sell them, so they upgraded the tablet as well! Purchasing this plan is worth it, we have replaced several phones over the years and have had a great experience every time.

Store was neat, clean, and service personnel were great! I though I had to replace my S22 Ultra because it was tossed into traffic and severely damaged. They replaced the screen and it works perfectly. The whole process took about 2.5 hours. They also helped me determine the reason my backup phone didn't work was because my micro SIM card from my S22 was smaller that the slot in the backup phone. I recommend this Van Nuys, California store.
